Starting point is 00:00:00 From Vanderpump Rules to Vegas and everywhere in between, it's time to party with Sheena Shea. This is Shenanigans, and now here's your host, Sheena Shea. All right, and we are back. And by back, I mean doing a podcast and back from date night. That was so much fun, honey. That was a blast. We needed that, actually. That was like mental health needed. That was definitely relationship needed. Today was the day. We had a rough day. Probably the first one since we came home from the hospital.
Starting point is 00:00:58 Yeah. But here's the thing. When we got home from the hospital, we literally started filming four days later. And we're busy every single day. So it's like, I mean, we literally started filming four days later and were busy every single day. So it's like, I mean, we were still with Summer every day and every night, but we were so busy. And now we're not. Well, you are. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:01:14 I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa. That put me in. I'm not busy. So now we just, we, I mean, I. I'm glad you're fixing yourself. I have a lot of free time. And, I mean, you're working from home, so we are just both home full time, but you're very busy working. Yeah, which I'm glad that you acknowledge that I'm at home working, because I feel like when you huff under your breath at me, it's like, oh, I'll just take care of the child then,
Starting point is 00:01:45 shall I? I was like, well, I'm kind of working. No, it's an adjustment and I wouldn't have it any other way. It is different to go from being so busy with the baby from the second we got home from the hospital to now we're home full time with the baby, which is such a blessing, by the way. We are so fortunate that our jobs allow us to be home with her all of the time as well. Yeah. No, I don't think it's that. I think it's every parent has their days. And we're new parents, so we're going to get through this.
Starting point is 00:02:18 Yeah. We also are very blessed with an angel of a child who today just was overly tired. She's wearing it. She's growing, yeah. She'll sleep about, right now we're at like nine hours a night. We're bragging. I'm just painting a picture. I'm just saying this is, I'm not bragging.
Starting point is 00:02:44 I'm just saying she sleeps on average eight to nine hours, wakes up, we feed her, and then she was back down for a nap. this morning she did not she was like we're awake let's stay awake all day we're not gonna nap at all she's the best but she's a baby she's a baby she's gonna have these days i know and we've been very fortunate because i'll tell you what today was very difficult for both of us as we could agree and Sandoval had these two tickets for a band called pandemonium big band it was like this big like jazz band there were what like 15 members yeah it was like dinner and a show that he gave us and it was just the most awesome date night needed mom and dad night out it was just I mean it was just the most awesome date night needed mom and dad night out. It was just, I mean, it was good to see live music. Oh, it was so good.
Starting point is 00:03:29 Live music, guys. He got us the best seats, too. Well, he got himself the best seats. They just couldn't go. Well, they couldn't make it, but he gave them to us. Yeah. And it was amazing. It was the best.
Starting point is 00:03:40 So thank you for that, Tom. It was needed, guys. And I think like a topic, I don't know what we're going to get touched on, but one I want to touch on with you honey is like the ability as a parent to try and think as if we've got everything handled and under control but inside some days we just are burning running around going crazy well yeah i just it's i'm never frustrated with her i get frustrated with myself or with you because i don't know like what's wrong sometimes I'm like okay well you're fed your nappy has changed like I it just has to be you're tired but then I'm like
Starting point is 00:04:12 does she have a headache does her stomach hurt and then I just always feel like you just have this like magic touch and when you just like hold her she stops crying and so I'm never thankful when she doesn't do that because i don't ever want my child upset but it just gives me a little a little smirk of you know when she fusses for you too i'm like you're not perfect it's normal i think i think one thing as a parent and we this is what my friends back at home maddie shout out to you and Jess, they have a little baby and they actually from birth, they hold her over the sink to go potty, to go to the toilet.
Starting point is 00:04:51 Like they have cloth nappies and they're trying to like pay attention to their kids. So now it's at a point where he can look at his child and he'll give her a feature. He'll give her the little push and he knows that face. Yeah. And then so with kids, they tell you a lot. They're trying to tell you as much as they can.
Starting point is 00:05:08 Yeah. And so she has her little things. Like, you know, as soon as you know when she's tired, it's just like she has it on her face. Yeah. And then sometimes when she's doing something like a push, a push, a push. Oh, yeah. Oh, you can see it.
Starting point is 00:05:18 You can see it. And so what my friends have done is they've made it a habit to really pay attention to that. So when I hold her or sing to her or something like that, I just try and first distract her from what she actually is thinking and then try and figure out what it is. But, I mean, it's just holding her. She's the best.
Starting point is 00:05:36 I know. She is. And then it's like we go out, we have a good time, but then we're just getting pictures sent to us of her and then we just miss her and can't wait to come home. I don't know. I think we got our first uh outing coming up our first weekend away as parents what do you mean newly parent we're going to our first music festival well yeah but we're not like going away from her it's in san diego we're staying at our house and
Starting point is 00:05:56 my mom's going to be there with her we're can i finish my statement okay just jumping at me i was like it's kind of interesting because the old version of me oh yeah was like, it's going to be interesting because the old version of me was like, let's go party for three days, festivals. Woo, lose my mind. Now I'm like, yeah, let's go party for three days. Woo, lose my mind. Do I want to lose my mind or am I going to miss summer? So I'm kind of going between these two.
Starting point is 00:06:17 So we'll see how it goes. It's coming up. Well, it's a two-day festival. We've committed to day one and we're like, let's see how we feel. Again, Sheena with the we talking in groups. We did committed to day one and we're like, let's see how we feel. Again, Sheena with the we, talking in groups. We did commit. I have committed for the weekend. I'm ready to rock and roll.
Starting point is 00:06:32 It's in San Diego. Mom's coming down. We've got the parents weekend out. We also have a very early shoot day on Monday. Yes. And we have to drive up Sunday night. Wow. We'll draw straws to see who has to drive up, eh? That's cute.
Starting point is 00:06:46 That's good. Why do we both have to suffer for this Saturday? Why can't one just draw straws? Because I said I'm just going Saturday. Okay. So because I want to go Sunday, I have to drive. Yeah. If we leave late.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Okay. Deal. I think that's fair. You know what? Yes. I'll drive to San Diego tomorrow. How about that? Perfect.
Starting point is 00:07:04 Actually, I need you to drive because I got to do calls. Sales calls. If you guys want to go to 45 Gym down in Hillcrest or San Diego, let us know. I'd love to help you out with a membership. I'll give you a bus. Yeah, so we've now been back splitting our time between L.A. and San Diego. And, I mean, I don't really mind that drive, but in traffic,
Starting point is 00:07:23 that could take a toll and when you have a baby in the car who likes to poop in the car i mean i think she likes to poop in the car it's happened the last couple times we've had a long drive she just gives me that look and then i hear it and i'm like time to pull over time to pull over yeah so we've been splitting our time between san diego and la and uh we're just kind of trying to figure out our new routine yes the problem the problem is we give ourselves the excuse of being like oh we can go ahead and just do this and then we'll do this but like we need to have some structure about it especially for me trying to work from home guys is already difficult enough case in point all day today i had a couple of really important calls and just trying to find out work-life
Starting point is 00:08:11 balance at home you know home life balance a new dad balance there's none of it because i do when i hear a cry i do want to come out and help and it frustrates me for a walk today so you didn't even hear her fussing because which is good yeah i i appreciate when you're like i'm just gonna take her advantage of the situation i'm gonna take our child go for a walk i want you to go outside and walk more yeah so we did that today so speaking of work um if you guys saw my vlog last week we did brock's first shoot for homebody which so amazing. The photos and video content looks so good. I just want you to give like a little update, like where are you guys at with development? When are you launching? Where can people buy apparel? Give me the goods. Yeah, thanks, honey. So
Starting point is 00:09:00 obviously Homebody, as we're building it, is a live streaming platform for our creators that have a fan base or any kind of following, whether they're a fitness coach or if you have a celebrity, think of it for the cameo of a fitness space. That's what Homebody is going to bring to you guys. We want to have a whole bunch of collected artists and creators and influencers on our platform that want to interact with their audience, that want to take them on a fitness and health journey. And it's kind of rolled into more than what we ever expected. It turned into an apparel line. It's turned into a big brand.
Starting point is 00:09:33 And so with that, we had our photo shoot, our first influencer shoot in LA. We were full guns blazing. It was an amazing event. And then from that, we used that content to create our creators content. So we want to help you guys grow your platform because if you guys are succeeding on our platform means our platform succeeding so if there are people who want to be a part of homebody how should they get in touch yeah if you want to take live classes from any of your creators or if you
Starting point is 00:09:58 want to go ahead and be a coach on our platform just go to homebodylifefitness.com and you can subscribe to be a part of our onboarding trainers. We select trainers as we go through our beta phase the next two months. But then if you're involved in that beta, you also get a lot of perks of Homebody. Normally, it's like an 80-20 commission split. But for the first year, if you're involved in our beta as a coach, you would get all of your commissions minus operation costs. So you're going to save yourself about getting an extra 15%, like 95% is going to be straight to your bank. So if you're a creator and if you haven't any following, or if you have any clients,
Starting point is 00:10:33 literally think of it as a way to reinvent yourself or re market yourself and brand yourself to your audience and monetize from it. I know for a fact, we've got some more stuff coming up, but I'd love to talk more. And actually i'm thinking of starting to do a podcast with them with homebody like once a month to start us off okay and then it will just be more about the business like speaking with creators and talking about health and wellness so yeah that i think that would be a good pillar of us for content you know so it'll be great i love that and the apparel legitimately is a very good material it's good for working out it's good just like leisure wear also like i mean i'll wear one of brock's hoodies with like thigh high boots and that's my outfit for the night yeah it's pretty good honestly the women's apparel i don't
Starting point is 00:11:18 i can't fit into the leggings um but they are they are lulu living quality they're such a nice quality wasn't Sandoval wearing the women's leggings at the photo shoot he put them on good boy he loves a good pair of leggings he loves a good
Starting point is 00:11:30 yeah I gotta get my legs out like I like short shorts five inch inseam three inch inseam and we're good yeah you like Speedos well okay
Starting point is 00:11:40 it's not the fact that yeah I like Speedos so you're like we like short shorts well anyway moving on so that was my vlog last week and then if you guys saw my vlog this week if not be sure to check it out we finally did our la apartment tour which i have been wanting to shoot for a few months but we've obviously been busy shooting other things so check it out because the place we live at y'all is so dope ryan beal the manager has just made the move and
Starting point is 00:12:14 transition from san diego to here so easy for us i know i've had some friends reach out about places here and he's great he's very helpful so if you're looking for a place in la if you know your lease is up and you need a new place to live if you're moving to la just to get the fuck out of wherever you're living change it up a little bit it's right like in the like heart of hollywood but it's like not at the same time you know it's got its own little perks about it. For me, the highways are right there. So close. So convenient.
Starting point is 00:12:48 You're in and out of LA very conveniently. Yeah. You're in and out of LA. If you live in West Hollywood, it still takes you 20, 40 minutes to get to the highway to get out of Hollywood. That's what I hated about living mid-city. I thought moving back to Hollywood,
Starting point is 00:13:00 I was like, oh, Hollywood, I'm not going to like it. And then I remembered how convenient it is for literally everything. Like you can go downstairs and get tender greens or blaze pizza or Starbucks or get on the sweet greens. Oh, that one is the bomb. Oh, and there's like a sushi restaurant right across the street, guys. Yeah. So there's so many things. I'm so bummed that Arclight is no longer open.
Starting point is 00:13:24 I was really excited to move in here. That would be a monthly, a weekly little date. Oh, yeah. Oh, I love a good movie. I know. We just saw Jungle Cruise. That was so good. Funny.
Starting point is 00:13:34 Yeah. We've actually done pretty good with the date nights, I would say. We've kept them up, which is good. We've also, we're very pleasured. Oh, pleasured. Oh, wow. Very privileged. The summer, we're very pleasured oh pleasured oh wow very privileged this summer with obviously filming and that like we got to do a lot of like amazing cool things
Starting point is 00:13:51 yeah for sure but yeah so we're here in our home studio in hollywood working from home looking at the hollywood sign i love it here you know what i really like and we only just started going down there the pool the pool yeah guys we've got this level three, the clubhouse, they call it. It's just this. It's mad amenities. This place has got really good amenities. The gym is dope. The gym is legit.
Starting point is 00:14:13 They've literally got a squat rack. It's on the sliders, so the guide rails, but it's still a really good quality at-home workout gym. Yeah. It's a good quality, so. And sometimes we'll just, like, put Summer in her little chair or in her stroller and just bring her down to the gym with us well anyway guys moral of the story wallace on sunset is uh is not a bad place to live if you're interested to come to la want to check out his name is ryan the manager he's awesome but check out my vlog and you can
Starting point is 00:14:42 see all of the amenities and our apartment. And I've just been so excited to do this apartment tour because we still haven't even done a San Diego house tour. Yeah, you're right. We were like getting ready to do it. And then I was like, wait, shit, we're moving to L.A. and we're taking like some of our furniture up to L.A. But what we didn't do was bring all of our furniture from San Diego. We were able to get a lot of it from this furnishing company called Furnish, but spelled F-E-R-N-I-S-H. And if you use code Sheena, actually, you can get a code. You get $100 off.
Starting point is 00:15:18 It's $50 off your first two months. months and they have amazing like very like modern like just like super trendy furniture that worked out great for us because we're like we can just that's it that's like 95 of the house right yeah pretty much yeah i mean like there's a few things in here that's ours my desk was from there as well guys you want a good desk go to to Furnish. Furnish, yeah. Furnish. Yeah, so, yeah, we rented furniture for this place, and it just made the move so easy. So check out my vlog, y'all. If you use code Brock, you'll just get looked at weirdly. But, you know, code Sheena, $100 off.
Starting point is 00:15:59 Have that. Yeah, but I will say also one of the things that I love the most about this building, it's frustrating if you forget your fob, but it's great how secure it is. Like you cannot get in without a fob. Once you get in the building, you still can't get in the elevator without a fob. Then you get out of the elevator and you're like, oops, wrong floor. It's like you need a fob for everywhere, so it's great. Yeah, it's very locked.
Starting point is 00:16:22 I know this because I was- Yeah, they have security patrolling 24 hours. I have no idea. When we first moved in here, honey, remember- Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Tell the story. I go, where did I go?
Starting point is 00:16:30 I went to the gym or something. My phone dies. But as I left, I left my fob away. And the call box wasn't working. And the call box was connected to my phone at the time. You have two stories. So I'm downstairs and I'm just there yelling. And I know what it's like on a Friday night night i hear i hear people out on the street having a
Starting point is 00:16:48 good time so i'm like okay there's no one here it's two in the afternoon they should be able to hear me yell out sheena's name from the bottom like rapunzel let down your hair nothing nothing i just look like a crazy guy we're like what is taking him so Yeah, this place is Fort Knox, but it's good. He's like a crazy fan just yelling like Romeo and Juliet. That's funny. Yeah, but I thought you were going to tell the story about, you don't have to say what floor, but you got off on the wrong floor. Oh, yeah. This was before, like right when the building was new,
Starting point is 00:17:18 so there was like no artwork or anything to differentiate the floor. There's these locks, and this is the first time for me, but the locks are like pin combs. Like there are computer screens. You touch them and the code comes up and you just you put in your code. And it's only, I have my code, which I don't know what it is. Sheena has her code, which I use. And so Sheena can know when I can't use my, her code or my code, you can see who uses the codes, right? So I jump in the elevator, they are two below us. So I hit both our numbers. And when I'm'm when i'm walking out i'm
Starting point is 00:17:46 on my phone i'm like oh i just hit two floors so first floor comes i'm on my phone so i just walk off and these are identical apartment hallways so i just keep walking and i'm on my phone not paying attention guys stay off your phone pay attention right walk to the end we get to the door and then i'm putting in sheena's code i put it in the code i put it in the code and it denies me put it again oh my god these fatena's code. I put it in the code. I put it in the code and it denies me. Put it in again. Fat fingers. I swear I'm putting it in the right code. And as I'm doing it for the third time, this dude opens the door and behind that dude is another dude, not looking too happy at me trying to put in a code into my door. Turns out I hopped off on the wrong floor. I immediately remember, wait a second, Brock, I was in the elevator, saw two lights,
Starting point is 00:18:25 don't get off, but I got off. So as soon as I realized that, I looked at the door number, I was like, oh, these guys had no idea. First and foremost,
Starting point is 00:18:33 these guys didn't know who I was. You're lucky you didn't get shot. They were literally like, is this guy trying to break into our place, right? And you're thinking. And then the problem about that was, I was thinking, why the fuck are there two guys in my house
Starting point is 00:18:43 with my missus? And your baby. My family's inside and these two blokes just answered the door it's like there's about to be a fight because what's going on yeah luckily luckily i immediately realized in confusion but yet staunch i was like what the hell and then now it was it was the wrong place so yeah moral of the story very secure building can't even break into someone else's apartment. Yeah, but they can't do that. So I posted for y'all to send us questions and I will say
Starting point is 00:19:12 the number one question people wanted to know was what are our wedding plans? Do we have a date set? And I saw there was a question that said, were you nervous to pop the question? So let's start there.
Starting point is 00:19:27 You'll find out about the wedding. We had our ups and downs and what was going to happen and what didn't happen. That comes in due time, obviously. Yeah, but were you nervous? I didn't know I was nervous. I'm all talk and no game, right? I'm like all confident until it comes to me.
Starting point is 00:19:43 But at this point, I was committed to what I wanted to do, obviously, because I've been talking about it to Kyle and all that, who helped us with the ring. Yeah. Who I might add, thank you very much, buddy. We were going in at like an 8 to a 10, and he somehow got me up to – Almost 13. Almost 13.
Starting point is 00:20:00 I said 8. Yeah, yeah. No, I have 13. And I was like, no, give me like 9 or 10, you know? And then, yeah, boop. So, you know, it is what it is. It's a beautiful ring. It is beautiful eight. Yeah, yeah. No, I have 13. And I was like, no, give me like nine or 10, you know? And then, yeah. So, you know, it is what it is. It's a beautiful ring. It is beautiful.
Starting point is 00:20:09 Thank you, buddy. But when I went to his shop, because we took Sheena in and she was blindfolded to check the sizing and then she still lost more weight. So it's still a little loose. Yeah. But so, yeah, I thought I was ready to rock and roll. And then when I actually got the ring, I was talking to Tom. It was a moment because for a second it just hit me.
Starting point is 00:20:28 Yeah. Because then I realized like, wait a second, like I'm buying this woman a ring, like I'm going to get down on one knee, I'm going to just tell her that she's it, like I'm in. And yes, I've been married before and I've got my kids, but even in that situation it wasn't something where I got down on a knee and declared my love, you know. Like I felt like when we got married I was very young, it wasn't something where I got down on a knee and declared my love. You know, like I felt like when I, when we got married, I was very young and, um, it wasn't,
Starting point is 00:20:49 I just thought it would change everything else, you know, make everything else better. And it, obviously it didn't. Um, but this time around, I definitely, I was just like, I was flooded with a bit of emotion and I, and I don't handle emotion that well, because I feel like I know it, I got my shit shit on point so when I have to deal with emotion it's just like a train wreck almost like a sub and little train wreck I get upset so um I definitely had a little tears when it just was emotional but um yeah I was pretty stoked and then when we were downstairs when I popped the question but just before that guys we we did a little something. I think we talked about it.
Starting point is 00:21:26 We signed our prenup. Yeah, so we did a little something. And one of the guys down there, he was a religious man, but he just had some good lessons. Our notary. Our notary. He was amazing. Legend.
Starting point is 00:21:37 He sat us down and said, guys, I just want to jump in here. You guys are really excited. You're very clear and communicating. And he's like, whatever you guys are, I know it's clear and communicating and he's like whatever you guys are i know it's love and god bless you with that and he blessed you guys with a platform to go ahead and lead by example yeah right and that hit me because i was just like fuck no we're like falling at this point i think they said that was like the best like prenup like session they ever had we're crying because we're just madly in love with each other so i was super
Starting point is 00:22:05 excited for that um and then yeah so then following that stuff obviously it got me set up to propose and i remember when we did it i uh i don't remember what i said i don't remember either we do have a sneak preview oh not it's not really i guess it's a sneak preview sneak peek sneak peek of our engagement out on the balcony on my LA apartment tour vlog. So if you guys, that's as good as it gets for now, guys. Yeah. But yeah, so to answer your question, long story short, yes, I was nervous. And as far as our wedding goes, ideally, we want to get married in Bali when it's summer there. So that's winter here. But with you know, COVID and all the travel and restrictions, that doesn't seem like it's going to happen anytime soon.
Starting point is 00:22:50 So we're hoping for like November, December 2022. Yeah. Because I don't want to do anything without your family. I want to do something. I mean, I would be happy getting married in Australia or New Zealand and then honeymooning in Bali. But we did find this amazing location in Bali. We found it because we were just watching Netflix.
Starting point is 00:23:12 Yeah, but we were watching this awesome travel show. And I was like, that's it. That's where we're getting married. There's better places. There's better places made for destination weddings. That's where I want to get married. I like that place. I want that place.
Starting point is 00:23:24 What was the place called? I don't know, but I'm going to go back and watch that show. Canggu. No. Where else was it? I mean, maybe it was in Seminyak, but I mean, no, like the place itself. North Canggu? I don't remember, but that's the plan.
Starting point is 00:23:37 So there's no date set because until we know we can travel and not have to quarantine for two weeks and all of that. We're not setting a date. So we'll just be fiancés for a while, which is fun. You get what you wanted, honey. You wanted to be a fiancé. I felt like tonight was, I think, the first time I've said it to a stranger. So when you dropped me off to go park the car, I walked up and I was like, oh, hi. I was like, my fiancé and I have tickets. He's just parking the car.
Starting point is 00:24:02 And then when I got upstairs, they asked what name the tickets were under. And I said, Sandoval. And then I sat down and they were like, oh, so are you expecting one more? I was like, yeah, my fiance is coming. I was like, I felt like I was like bragging. You don't run around like my fiance. But I would normally say like, yeah, my boyfriend's on his way up, you know? See, I've always called you my missus and my wife.
Starting point is 00:24:23 I've been doing that since we started dating. I haven't. You've just been my boyfriend. And you're not even my wife. Yeah, I know. People are like, wait, what? No, no, no. You didn't miss anything.
Starting point is 00:24:31 That was moving quickly. But then you rock up and say, oh, my girlfriend's upstairs. I'm like, bitch, I'm your fiance. Yeah, fiance. See, when a man says it, he's like, you're my fiance. Fiance. Oh, wow. I have a question here.
Starting point is 00:24:46 Okay. I've clearly, guys, clearly you can see Sheena's filtered my questions out for me and sent them to me because the first one is, how did you know she was the one? I think it said she slash he. How did you know? Oh, that's a double question. That was a double question.
Starting point is 00:25:00 Oh, okay. You talk shit. All right, you're right. How do you know, Sheena, how did you know he was the one? You were very persistent and you just didn't give up on me. And you showed an interest in me that no one ever has. And you just, you didn't leave me alone. Like you just, you kept coming back for more.
Starting point is 00:25:18 And I was like, I like this. I have a real bad habit for this. At first it was like I kept pushing you away because I was like, this is too much. I'm single. I want to stay single. But you didn't let me stay single, and I'm so thankful because you're everything I wanted. I didn't know I needed.
Starting point is 00:25:35 How did I know you were the one? I didn't. You just became the one. I didn't go into this relationship and be like, oh, that's the girl I'm going to marry. Oh, yeah. No, same. But it was like, I mean mean i knew you were the one i wanted to get into a relationship with when you just like wouldn't let me say no and i mean say no like as in like going out like not like that you know what i mean no you just wouldn't take no for an answer when you're like you say you want to drive up and make me dinner in LA. And I'm like, no. And you're like, that's... Yeah, in the bedroom, she said no. Oh, I said yes, yes, yes.
Starting point is 00:26:06 I knocked my head on the wall the first time. First night, guys. I thought I was the call of the evening. She's like, keep going. I was like, you've got a concussion? Your eyes are going two different ways. Yeah, that was fun. How has your relationship changed since having Summer?
Starting point is 00:26:20 If at all, you guys rule. Thank you, mate. Thanks. Who sent that one in? Jovi. Jovi. Honey, you want to start it off what do you think i mean 100 our relationship's changed yeah but like how the dynamic of our relationship has changed like i think before baby i think a lot of relation younger relationships put a lot of emphasis on sex yeah you know we are you got to be having sex to have
Starting point is 00:26:43 a healthy relationship i'll never be well i mean that's what i've felt in my past relationships and maybe that's why they weren't successful because i focused on the wrong things and it's not like you know when we do have that like i mean it's always still incredible it's just not as often as it was in the beginning because we have a child sleeping next to us. I think we tried it one time in Palm Springs. Fun story, guys. So look, I'm honest. You told this, I think.
Starting point is 00:27:12 I did? Yeah, you popped in, I think, when we were podcasting with Jamie. And then she was all like squeamish and just like, I'm uncomfortable. And I'm like, you send me the raunchiest text from guys. And this is making you uncomfortable. She's like, I don't know. But I think that might have been a Patreon one so do tell do tell so after baby obviously both parties were it was a bit a minute for me it was more of like uh when jerry pregnant i was like i don't want to put my
Starting point is 00:27:39 my guy man and smack him in the head like kind of like like, what's that movie? It's like a mirror make a porno. No, Knocked Up. Knocked Up, where he's like, ah, that's the image that comes up to my head. So I was like, so that was one for me. And then I just, yeah, it was just, it wasn't my thing. And then obviously we had her, and then so it's been a minute. We tried to induce having her. That didn't work. And that was awkward as fuck.
Starting point is 00:28:01 Yeah. The biggest belly ever. No position was comfortable no yeah we tried okay and it was at a point where i've just been completely content with just cuddling and just being in love with everything else and it's both of us that's the thing like jamie's like oh is brock okay that like you guys haven't and i'm like i'm fine yeah i'm like he's fine i'm fine like we're on very much the same page. It's not like I'm like horny all the time and you're like, no.
Starting point is 00:28:27 And it's not like you're horny all the time. And I'm like, yeah, before baby, it was one of those cases, you know, but now we're kind of on a mutual respect where it's like, we'll get there. Yeah. We'll get there when we get there. We just gotta, we gotta get there. We tried to get there in Palm Springs. And also I think too, though, like even like the first couple months, I mean, I needed
Starting point is 00:28:45 to get cleared from the doctor. I wanted to get my IUD because I do not want to make another summer anytime soon, if possibly ever. I don't know. We have the best baby ever. Don't know that I want to make another one, but I wanted to just, you know, feel good again. And I wasn't feeling super confident. And like, as much as you can tell me I'm beautiful and perfect all day long but I needed to feel it and I finally feel like like I got my groove back thanks to Courtney you've been crushing it honey yeah that's good yeah well middle of the grooving we're in Palm Springs getting it on and yeah I'm doing a little bit of foreplay here and there and however the foreplay I'm kind of like I know that normally pre-baby, this would be hitting the spot.
Starting point is 00:29:29 She's normally going crazy for this. This is my favorite action. She likes this. Not the case because in Sheena's head, she's there going, I wonder if everything's the same down there. Is anything changed? Then I was like, does this feel the same as it used to? It feels good, but like, is this the same as it used to feel?
Starting point is 00:29:43 So she's in her head. And now my lovemaking style is it's intimate. I was like, does this feel the same as it used to? It feels good, but is this the same as it used to feel? So she's in her head. And now my lovemaking style is it's intimate. Lovemaking. My lovemaking style is intimate. Like I know what you're thinking because I know what you're thinking because I'm doing it with my thingies, you know? Yeah. But at that point I was like, she's not into it.
Starting point is 00:30:00 She's thinking about this. It's like she's thinking about my child. And then I started thinking about my child and I'm trying to get it. It wasn't helping at all. So then we just kind of stopped. Like, ah, yeah,
Starting point is 00:30:10 that didn't work. We'll work on this. This weekend, we're like last weekend, we're back in San Diego. I'm like, okay, you know,
Starting point is 00:30:16 this is where it all happened. It had been one year to the day that we conceived summer. Cause it was literally our first morning in our San Diego house that I was just like, you literally just got me pregnant. So I was like, oh, maybe, you know, for our one year,
Starting point is 00:30:30 we like, you know, get it on again. And what does he do? He conveniently burns his fingers on the barbecue. I forgot about that. So the foreplay couldn't happen. There's no foreplay,
Starting point is 00:30:41 so we didn't get there. Yeah, I got really bad. We were also so tired. We were beat guys listen i i'm not painting a pretty picture like it's it's been pretty difficult with having a baby and all that but we're very happy but i think anyone who has a baby like understand like they get it and like that's what i enjoy about like our other like reality shows like shots of sunset right now with like with m like with MJ and Tommy's relationship.
Starting point is 00:31:05 I know you haven't watched the last couple episodes, but I'm like, oh, so relatable. They're like trying to do like a date night and he's like yawning at the table and then she's talking about how they haven't had sex. And I'm like, girl, I feel you. I get it. It's relatable.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Yeah. So anyway, Beck underscore Gibbo said, how are you finding being unable to get home in the fam not seen summer? That has been the hardest thing. Yeah, that one hits home. And obviously, we can't do anything about it right now. I can't change rules.
Starting point is 00:31:35 Thank God for FaceTime, at least. You know that your family is able to see her. I send them photos and videos several times a week. But it's been tough. I'm really excited. My mom said she has long leave coming up. So we're aiming to do that next year. Have her come over and just let her live her best life for three months.
Starting point is 00:31:53 Yeah. That'll be so good. Spend some time with us. But yeah, it's obviously the whole family in that. So we're going to, hopefully the borders open up and we can start traveling. But it's not going to be anytime soon. And I'm a realist about that, unfortunately. And my mom's like, my mom, I love her.
Starting point is 00:32:07 She's good. She's amazing. Miss the family. Yeah. Big Mood Boy 8, what has been the best moment of your relationship so far? Best moment of our relationship so far? I mean, without ignoring the elephant in the room. Yeah, having a kid together.
Starting point is 00:32:23 Yeah. That was a scary moment too though it was the hospital was very and it wasn't scary until now thinking back on it once like i realized like because i was like oh what's going on here but it was pretty pretty crazy yeah alicia and 3086 is the one who asked if we were nervous if you were nervous to pop the questions and a little shout out to her makeup music one why are you not at the podcast studio anymore well we currently i think this is something we mentioned it's called a pandemic no but this is something we had mentioned on patreon now that we're in our home studio
Starting point is 00:32:55 is that we are in the transition of a new home for shenanigans so we're no longer with action park media we are signing a deal with the new company and i will announce that as soon as that's all done i'm very excited but in the meantime i didn't want to be in the studio because of yes the pandemic i was still pregnant so we made our little at home studio i haven't had many guests on recently because we're still, we need to figure out the zoom thing. I don't know if I need to get a new recorder or a new computer, but they're not compatible. So we got to figure that out before we have zoom guests.
Starting point is 00:33:34 But in the meantime, I've just been doing them, you know, from my home studio and the Nima was in town last week. So that was awesome that we got to get a guest on. And that was such a fun episode. If you guys didn't listen to it, check her out. And yeah, that's why.
Starting point is 00:33:49 Raquel underscore hair art wants to know about my post baby weight loss. Tell us, honey. Tell us about your post baby weight loss. Well, first of all, breastfeeding. I swear that does. It sucks it right out of you. So, I mean, naturally, some of it has come off but i started the day that my doctor said i was cleared to work out i started working out with a woman named
Starting point is 00:34:12 courtney verdon who specializes in core and pelvic floor yep and that has just she also specializes in this like therapy yeah she's awesome she's great for you you need someone not just to like help you train but to help you talk you through these issues that you believe i feel like every woman feels like they're in a shoe and and you just need the right support and the man cannot do that like as much as i tell you you're beautiful you got this i never gave birth i never went through that so i i never put on 60 pounds and then no no no i put on 60 pounds. No, no, no, no. I put on 60 pounds. No, but I'm saying like for me, a petite girl to gain that much weight and then just have this new body that I'm trying to figure out, you know, how to dress and all of that. And I'm a big fan of everything you're doing, honey.
Starting point is 00:34:58 You're doing great. And I'm not telling you that your body isn't perfect now. But I'm not being like crazy about my diet. Like I'm still letting myself enjoy like my pasta that I had tonight. I'm trying for this fitness power and I can't even get past. I have to eat 3,000 calories and I'm doing my best to log it. I'm sitting here eating dates right now just to add some calories in there. But it's just – sorry, I'll stop bragging.
Starting point is 00:35:23 CKigBossB55 wants to know, what's been so much easier than you expected of anything being a new mom? I do think breastfeeding. I think I was worried. And here's the thing with me. I think I like to think worst case scenario. So when that doesn't happen, then I'm like, oh, okay, I'm good. But if it were to happen, then I kind of like prepped myself for it. So I was just already prepping myself. Like, what if, you know, I don't produce milk? What if we have to supplement formula? Like, what if she doesn't latch?
Starting point is 00:35:53 Like, I just didn't know. And I was very nervous about that. But thankfully, we have a little latching angel. And that's been much easier for me than I for bragging no but i know a lot of women do struggle with this and that's something that you know i mean just with with my own fertility you know like it wasn't like i just got pregnant overnight like the first time we tried i mean i've had a lot of issues and i had to freeze my eggs and go through all of that so i just didn't know if the postpartum and fourth trimester and all of that was going
Starting point is 00:36:27 to be easy for me or if I was going to struggle with that. So that is one thing that has been easier than I expected. And honestly, I think the late night feeds, they weren't as hard as I thought. But I think that's because I had you helping me and I wasn't doing it completely on my own. You're doing good, honey. Yeah, you're doing great. Regardless of me, you're crushing it. Thanks, honey.
Starting point is 00:36:53 Summer's starting to recognize people. Her personality's starting to show. That is Natalie Louise Griffiths. She is definitely seeing more. Speaking of today. And today was a prime example. She's so alert. She just doesn't want to miss out on anything. No. So now she's just not napping.
Starting point is 00:37:10 She's just like, I don't want to show my eyes because something's going to happen. And she wakes up. She's like, she's pissed. She wakes up immediately pissed. She's like, you let me sleep. It's like, what did I miss? And then you have to like show her everything. You take her walk around the house like this is what you missed. This is this. This is this. Look, there's more Olympics. Yep.
Starting point is 00:37:27 She loves the Olympics right now. She loves watching them. Natalie also wanted to know how long are you planning on staying in your L.A. home for? So this home specifically at the Wallace, I mean, you know, you sign a year lease. So you go from there. But L.A. is always going to be home. This is where I'm born and raised. This is where my family is. This is how it works.
Starting point is 00:37:49 We keep an apartment up in L.A. If we stay at the Wallace, that's the spot. Like this place works for us. It's actually pretty good. It's very convenient. And so that's our plan right now. If something changes, we'll let you know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:59 But the Wallace on Sunset is where we're going to stay right now. Yeah, you're right. I don't see myself buying a house. Yeah. It's really expensive. What's't see myself buying a house. Yeah. What's the point? I love renting. We're going to buy a place in San Diego and have our beach house down there. But I said we did talk about maybe buying a condo here.
Starting point is 00:38:13 Yeah, buying a condo, not a house. Right. So is a condo an apartment? What's a condo? It's kind of like split the difference. What's the difference? It's like kind of an apartment, but it's kind of a house because it's like you own it. So it's a small little building?
Starting point is 00:38:25 I don't. It's not in a building. Condos can't be in buildings? No, they're in a building, but some have like way less units. Like one of my friends lives in a condo, but it's like a duplex. There's got to be like a textbook definition of what is a condo. I don't know if I know. Comment below.
Starting point is 00:38:39 I will find out what a condo looks like. Shelby F. Duke wants to know if Summer is a dual citizen. Have we gotten the paperwork for her yet? Because it's a great thing to have. What did you say about that, honey? That she automatically is because you were born in New Zealand? Well, she'll automatically get it if we apply for it because she'll have a
Starting point is 00:38:57 New Zealand passport and an American passport. So is that something that when we go to New Zealand, we have to get there? Or can we go to the consulate? You can go to the consulate or you can just write from home. You can submit it and they send it to you. Right now, she doesn't have a passport, so we need to get on to that. She has the eligibility to do both whenever she wants to keep them.
Starting point is 00:39:17 And so that's it. CapricornLove85, would you ever consider doing another reality show, just you two and baby? Stay tuned. Wow. Yeah. If you've got someone we can talk to about this then i got one for you i think that would be so fun if we did comment below what would you like us to do we have a kind we've kind of like we have a little bit we've got a couple of ideas but i'd love to hear what obviously your guys would you guys would like to see because and then we can kind of tie it in and if we do i'll give you a little wink when we film it and you'll be like oh my god i gave him that idea yeah wink yvette tap dot five how are penny and salem coping with baby summer honestly
Starting point is 00:39:55 they pretty much just ignore her existence don't you think like they still live their life they walk over her they're just like excuse me i'm just to walk over you right there. That's a baby. Not a problem. But I will say all of the people who messaged me being like, you can't have cats around a baby. They're going to suffocate her in her sleep. Like they literally like they don't even sleep next to her. They don't. They'll go in her crib, which she doesn't even sleep in.
Starting point is 00:40:19 Salem likes to nap in there. But like they just let her do her thing. I mean, the cats pretty much just ignore her and live their life as long as they get attention from me we're good here it is the biggest difference between condos and apartments is ownership an apartment is defined as a resident that is rented often as a large a large residential building a condo is similar in structure to an apartment usually united within a large resident building but condos are owned instead of rented so it's an apartment you own an apartment something you would rent yeah and a condo is something you would own in terms of that so yeah basically same
Starting point is 00:40:57 thing okay that's complicated yeah so that is the life of been married we've been you know what i really want to do more of like on the instagram and that Complicated. Yeah. So. That is the life of being married. You know what? I really want to do more of like on the Instagram and that about me and you just going through these day-to-days. Because, guys, it's not always sunshine and rainbows. And I like that storyline of like telling how it really is. Yeah. But also I want to do an Instagram live with you soon. We've been talking about it and we haven't gotten to it.
Starting point is 00:41:23 Well, we want to do this Instagram live that helps you with like daily goals. And we haven't gone around to doing that. Oh, God. We're going to struggle. But I feel like once we get that done, we have to be accountable for it. Yeah, because once you write it down, it's accountable. Exactly. We just haven't written it down yet.
Starting point is 00:41:40 Oh, God. So coming soon, Instagram live accountability with Brock and Sheena. Well, honey, I love you. I love you. This is going to be a great engagement. Yeah. And I'm going to go to bed. I'm going to go see our little girl over there.
