From Vanderpump Rules to Vegas and everywhere in between,
it's time to party with Sheena Shea.
This is Shenanigans.
And now, here's your host, Sheena Shea.
We're good as gold
Because we're good as gold
What's up, everyone? Welcome back to Shenanigans.
As I said last week, we are gonna have my friend Chasen
from The Bachelorette joining us today.
But first, I want to introduce my two co-hosts, who you guys have never heard of before.
Miss Jamie Lynn and Mr. Brock Davies.
How we doing?
Great.
Hello, hello.
What do you mean?
What do you mean your friend?
Our friend?
Our friend.
Thank you.
Whatever.
Yeah, I mean, you know him through Brock.
Yes, I know.
True.
And we're going to get into how Brock knows him, how I met him, and how I wanted to set you guys up.
Oh, did you? Did you now?
Jason, how are you doing?
I'm doing so good. How are you doing?
We are great. And I say we because there's two of us now here in this body.
There is.
Which is crazy.
Congratulations, by the way. That's awesome.
Thank you. I know this is the first time you've seen me pregnant.
I know.
Huge.
First time. Yeah, you are about to pop.
Yeah, I know.
I've got like five and a half weeks to go.
And it's just, it's going by so quickly.
How are you feeling?
I feel good.
But yesterday we did our actual maternity shoot.
And whoever thinks modeling is easy, let me just say, it's not.
Holding positions is very difficult, especially when you have a good side
and you only want to shoot on one side.
So I'm putting like pounds of pressure, which is the most I've ever weighed,
on my right leg to pop out my left leg to get my good side.
And it was just so heavy on my right side that my back was killing me.
I got acupuncture today and I feel better,
but I have to say,
I saw your stories yesterday and I didn't,
I forgot to tell you this.
So I'll tell you this now.
I think it's the most beautiful I've ever seen you.
Oh,
you were stunning.
So I can't wait to see how they,
they turn out.
I'm sure they're going to be amazing.
You look phenomenal,
honey. Thanks. I saw some of the pictures to be amazing. You look phenomenal, honey.
Thanks.
I saw some of the pictures as well.
You're rocking it.
Yeah, it was a good shoot.
I'm excited for them.
So, Maureen.
Mona.
Mona.
Maureen did my makeup.
Maureen did your makeup.
Mona shot the photos.
Yeah.
So, people are probably
going to be confused
because they, like myself,
thought your Hawaii pictures
were your maternity photos.
Well, that's what happens
if you were just assumed
in that show. Yeah. That's on you, buddy. Those were your maternity photos. Well, that's what happens if you were just assumed in that show.
Yeah.
That's on you, buddy.
Those were just our vacation photos.
We just woke up like that one day and went to a waterfall
and someone just happened to take photos of us there, you know?
We were just in our element.
So, like, why didn't you just leave it at that?
Because those were the most amazing maternity photos.
Oh, because it gets better.
Okay.
Oh, yeah.
No, like, I wanted the in- yeah. No, like I wanted the in studio
with like, you know, draped in like the
pearls and all of the
flowy like sheets and
those are the ones that I'm going to
blow up on big canvases and put in my
house. Oh, not the beautiful waterfalls?
Well, yeah. I mean, those two, but
like those are...
When do
we get the barrage of them on Instagram?
When you want them.
Hopefully starting next week.
But, you know, they will need to be edited and all that.
We'll just leak them slowly.
So that was a warm-up.
And then those look very nice.
Yes.
Thanks, guys.
Yeah.
All right.
Enough about me.
Yeah.
Moving on.
Chasing my man, baby.
How are you, brother?
How have you been?
Mate, I've been good i
haven't seen him when did we see you last we went i mean fuck we don't see anyone anymore yeah back
when we used to party i guess maybe the music festival up here and cross probably was the last
time oh my god that was a no that was a year ago oh my god it was yeah yeah i go to cross every
year when did we all know jamie you weren't there you were there I was there but you weren't there
I was there
physically
but not mentally
or in spirit
yeah yeah
maybe not even
spirit
no honestly
I was by myself
that whole festival
on a mushroom trip
I just
I walked away
I was like
I don't like this music
I'm just gonna go
for a walk
and like
I just went
on a solo walk
during Cross
and then we lost
Jamie
for the whole night
it was right though
yeah you guys all had fun it was a great time cross that was that was over a year ago obviously
a lot has happened um you know you've got a few more friends following you and uh i've seen you
on some tv shows and i got a little human coming around here so a lot has changed so how do you
guys know each other though yes like being in san diego like party boys or something no no being in
san diego and then through f45, I was introduced to him.
So I did a couple of his classes, and then we just instantly had a connection, continued
to do them.
And Brock, his energy brings the class, his fan base in Hillcrest.
Keep going, baby.
I'll talk you up.
I'll talk you up.
I mean, when I first met Jason, we were at a pool party.
We were at Hard Rock Pool Party.
And I saw this good-looking dude over there.
I was like, this is good.
And I'm a new rooster in town.
So I was like, there's a big buck over there.
Have a crack.
Went over there.
Have a crack.
And he turned out to be a good bloke.
He wasn't like an asshole.
He was a really nice guy.
And so we just started chatting.
And then we used to see each other around.
San Diego is kind of a big town
but it's quite a small group
of like socialites.
Exactly.
And Jason is the man
of the socialite out here
and so was I.
I was the mayor.
He was my front runner,
my VP.
VP of San Diego.
I was the father.
So wait,
would you guys go out
and pick up girls together
or was one a wingman
to the other?
No,
we just did our thing
and girls just came.
It wasn't really.
Oh,
they just flopped.
We weren't out chasing chicks. We were out having a good time
and if it happened to meet some people,
we meet some people. Exactly.
Yeah. If you go out trying to pick up
a chick, bro, then you're doing it wrong.
You can't go out with the mindset
trying to get laid. I'm going to get a
smoke show, right?
Give me a smoke show.
I'm going to take her home and wrestle her, you know?
The adjective heard around the world.
Yes.
We're going to get into that.
A little controversy and on top of that.
So we were friends before.
Now it's my brand.
Yeah, there we go.
It's a new brand.
Let's talk about that a bit more, honey.
Is that a California description?
Because I've only heard one guy use that to describe me and he was from San Diego.
I have been using it since I was in high school, calling my girlfriend a smoke show.
So, yes, I would say it's a California thing.
Are you from San Diego?
No, no, I'm from Northern California.
Okay.
Up in East Bay and Walnut Creek.
Gotcha.
But, I mean, yeah, it's totally a California thing.
And if we did a survey or a poll on it, we could find out.
Who would ever be offended being called a smoke show okay what okay i think
it's a huge compliment i don't what is what i do what is the definition in your your descriptive
term of if i looked up in the dictionary of you know what is it what is it so my definition you
know scorching hot person that kind of catches your eye but after this after everything that's
happened with the bachelorette i would say it's more compliment with confidence why do you think it was received so poorly uh i would say
it was received so poorly because you know kind of bennett blew out of proportion um
let's have a minute talk right now let's we'll get to that in other areas probably not you know
east coast or midwest it's maybe not a compliment but i think anyone in their right mind if they were called
a smoke show they would take that as you know a nice thing well thank you for calling me a smoke
show you chunky monkey like if someone yesterday like my photo shoot someone's like oh my god you
looked like a smoke show i'd be like oh my thank you. Like I take it as a big compliment.
Exactly.
Apparently Jamie's one of the few.
Honestly, maybe it depends who it's coming from.
It came from Jason.
It came from Jason.
What do you think a smoke show is?
I think, okay.
Go.
Admittedly, Jason, before I listened to the most recent podcast you just did,
I thought you were like some San Diego party boy.
And like you saying that word to me was just like, whatever,
like frat boy-ish, like no depth whatsoever.
But when I heard you on that podcast,
you actually come across as a very nice, caring person.
There's more to you than that.
So there are stereotypes, I think, and i fell into that so i apologize and
that's why i wouldn't like hearing you know smoke show coming from someone who i thought was that
type of person i can see it that way completely and when you actually get to meet the person and
they say that to you or if you're actually already dating that person you call them a smoke show i
think that's fine but right off the bat, if you don't know the person
I can see how that can come across.
But you were dating this chick, right?
What was the first day they met?
And if we take it back
the film, I never called
Tayshia a smoke show directly.
I was banter between the guys.
Technically, I never called the bachelorette a smoke show.
Bennett, learn what banter
means between guys, buddy.
It means you can't repeat it to the chicks.
Well, he used it to his advantage, right?
Or he tried to.
Yeah, and he was a tampon.
He got thrown away.
I liked Bennett.
When he stepped out of the limo,
I thought he was very dapper and whatnot.
And then each episode, he just got a little more annoying.
He just got more skill.
He became slightly unhinged.
More slimy.
More skilled, more slimy. More skilled, like more slimy.
And that's the thing about it.
I feel like, I mean, I haven't, I'm saying this not being on the show or on TV, guys.
But I think the character speaks louder than whatever you want to try and say.
Whatever you try and put out there is just going to get followed up by character.
And we're going to touch on that a few times tonight.
So I think his character came through the more you got to see that.
Yeah. And it was slimy.amy so me is that australian it's a rocket that was just a rocket so i do want to just briefly kind of touch on the bachelorette finale that was this week but
before we do that we're just going to take a quick little break.
Y'all have heard me talk about this before, and that's because I love them. They are called
Care Of, which is a wellness brand that makes it easy to maintain your health goals with a
customized vitamin plan that helps you feel your best today and supports you long-term.
They come in these adorable little personalized packets. It says like, hi Sheena,
has a cute little inspirational quote.
You can just toss them in your bag so you never forget your vitamins.
They come straight delivered to your door.
It's great.
It's easy.
It's convenient.
You just go online and you take this in-depth, it's like a five minute quiz that asks you
questions about your diet, lifestyle, health concerns, and helps you address your specific wellness goals.
And it's a fun little quiz.
I've done it and I would do it again.
All of Karev's products are formulated with good for you,
clean ingredients that are backed by science.
That's why Jamie loves it.
And they're celebrating women this month with Women's History Month.
As moms, partners, and business owners, women have a lot on their plate.
You know, small routines like drinking a glass of water, taking your vitamins,
or adding collagen to your morning coffee can go a long way
in helping you prioritize your health and self-care.
So if you guys want to take control of your health and wellness
for 50% off your first Careof order,
just go to Takecareof.com and
enter code Shea50. And again, that is takecareof.com. Enter code Shea50.
And we're back. Okay. It was the finale after the final rose this week, The Bachelor. And I got to say, I was kind of disappointed
that, you know, it didn't end in an engagement because you expect the person who comes on to
be ready for that. But then it seemed like Matt's mom just like scared him out of an engagement.
It was like, well, you know what happened with me and your dad and feelings fade.
And then he was like, I'm out.
So I want to know your guys' thoughts on this, starting with you, Jason.
No, I would have to agree.
I mean, you know, that last date when Michelle was meeting the mom and the brother,
she even made a comment saying it's a long shot that he's going to get married.
And the whole purpose of the show is to get engaged.
So for that, to see that, and then for him to be kind of like scared out from his mom
from what happened in the past, I think that he personally, you know, wasn't ready to get
married.
He was kind of thrown into the role with everything that was happening.
But other than that, he presented himself pretty well first time behind the cameras
and, you know, didn't happen in engagement, which was sad to see when he said he just wanted to date Rachel after.
Yeah.
I mean, and with that, I mean, I do have to say that at least I like
that he was honest in saying, you know,
he still wanted to continue a relationship with her,
but he wasn't ready for the engagement.
I mean, that's respectable.
You don't want to get engaged just because Neil Lane gives you a free ring.
I mean, maybe you do, but.
Some people out there will. Yeah. Jason, like, so obviously the show is about proposing. So you going in there or like, or coming out with love. Right. So for you, even in your instance,
when you got, when you were on there, like that was what you went in there for you. There wasn't,
I'm going in here today. You could have done that in San Diego. Right. Like exactly. Yeah. So,
so from your perspective on the how that all broke
down like i think maybe yeah tell us more about that yeah i mean when you go on the show you are
essentially glued to that person you're competing for time you're getting to build emotional
connection put everything out there to meet this person and to end with just them dating, you know, just kind of what America doesn't want to see.
They want someone to get that Neil diamond ring on their finger and, you know, try to make it work
and go through the trials and errors and see what happens. But, you know, I think that's the first
time in bachelor history, maybe even when they just said they're going to date. I feel like
that's happened before.
I never really watched the show before I went on it, to be honest.
Sometimes that's better.
I actually thought like,
cause this was the first season of me watching it was first yourself when you're on there. And then, then after the bachelorette was the bachelor.
And I was actually like, all right, cool. This, this, this looks,
the bachelor was mobile with the chicks on there. I'm like, here we go.
But then, but then,
but then,
but I thought to myself every,
like every now and then I was like,
damn,
that's a real gentleman.
Like he's doing the right things.
He's saying the right things.
He's standing up for the girls.
And like,
especially when the new ones were trying to come in,
but to have that double standard on the character of like,
Hey,
you guys are in here sacrificing stuff for me to have a double standard
coming out of that.
I feel like,
and then to not make that commitment, even though he just wanted that all season that for me i'm like bro what okay i'm
gonna i want to talk about who are you in the room bro who's that here's the thing not who it's a
thing it's like as i'm gonna speak as a viewer we're all watching like i feel like we doubt
the fact that people are all going on there to get married. It's now become a social media thing, I feel like.
And sorry to insult anybody.
For sure, but I think a lot of people still go on it for the right reasons.
That's what I'd like to know.
So it's like with Matt, you know, did he just get what he wanted
and he found an excuse to not get married?
Yeah, maybe.
He just didn't want to get married?
Well, I think, I don't know, Chase,
because like Chase just said then,
when you're on the show,
you're doing nothing but fight for that one person.
That becomes your universe, right?
Well, here's the thing.
How much of that is a competitive aspect
where it's like, it's almost this mental thing
where it's like, now you're all competing
for this one person.
Well, I guess Matt never competed, did he?
He was just getting pampered the whole time.
He just had chicks handed to him.
I'm like, here's another 10.
Here's another 10.
I'm bringing it back to Jason's experience.
So it's like, how much of that is psychological
where it's like, it's a game and you're competing
and you want to win versus what's real?
Did you notice that?
I mean, a lot of it is competing for time
to build that emotional connection with,
you know, that significant other and, and, you know, go through all these experiences.
You know, we were in Palm Springs, so we didn't get to travel.
We didn't get to really fall in love.
You got gypped.
We kind of, yeah, we got shafted for sure.
Talk about a big shaft in the mouth.
You're like, I wanted to go to Peru.
I wanted to watch you, beat you.
We were supposed to travel, and then COVID happened.
But they made the best of it.
But going to Nimacolon for the Bachelor and see what they were doing on their dates and the resort they were staying at.
And then looking at our season, it was just completely different.
They learned what not to do again.
You guys were all, unfortunately, the guinea pigs,
and then they totally made a better, more Bachelor type of season.
Look at what, I mean, first off, you can't just say that they fucked up.
They did a really good job at adapting.
With what they were given, 100%.
But they then learned how to do it that much better for the next season
because Matt's season was still in a pandemic.
It was still in COVID,
but it was way more similar to a normal season
of The Bachelor or Bachelorette.
Well, listen, this is the only season I've seen
fully invested from start to finish.
Yeah, so you don't even know what you're talking about.
You only watched it because of me.
And that was it.
I wanted to see this guy in some short shorts
with his shirt off as much as he can and playing dodgeball.
Is there a bromance going on here?
There was always a bromance.
There has been a bromance.
I saw him.
I was like, he's cute.
Yeah.
And you approached him.
Brock would like literally be upstairs playing Call of Duty and I would pause it.
I'm like, honey, there's a chase in scene if you want to come down and watch it.
Shut it down.
Yeah, it was exciting to see yourself on TV.
That was very fun.
Yeah, you had the viewing
parties i couldn't go but parties were fun i know with with covid yeah how does it feel watching it
back to be honest i had to i've only watched it back one time i had to drink a ton of wine
with my friends oh i know that feeling i had to loosen up because it got pretty intense especially
on episode six when you know i was in the ring and all the drama with Ed and Bennett.
Were you boxing?
Was that the boxing ring?
No, it was a wrestling match.
Oh.
Did you smoke him?
I did win the belt.
Yeah.
Smokeshow, baby.
Woo!
Stop saying that word now for the rest of it.
I had the belt in my house too, so I was able to take that back with me, which is pretty cool.
That's funny.
Yeah.
That's cool. Yeah. That's cool.
Okay, so who do you think that,
because you basically were on two seasons in one.
Who do you think you connected with more,
Claire or Tayshia?
I connected more with Claire.
And you had less time with her.
And I had way more less time with her.
Yeah, we were just able to connect more
on a personal level where we grew up,
things that we've done,
both dog lovers.
She's from NorCal too, right?
She's from Sacramento, yeah.
Yeah.
She's great.
I mean, I had a great conversation with her.
I won the group date rose so that once you get a rose like that, it kind of connects you to the bachelorette a little bit more and you kind of stand out.
With Tayshia, it was more of a surface level friendship, kind of getting to know her.
more of a surface level friend friendship kind of getting to know her I never really got the opportunity because I had to kind of backpedal every time with all the drama that was going on
between Ed calling me out for clout and being there for Instagram oh god Ed who's that yeah I
had to deal with that irrelevant perfect when you heard that Claire and Dale broke up did you reach
out or did you want to I uh actually talked to claire yeah we're friends
so love that we reached out to her didn't we yeah we talked to claire too yeah we're still waiting
for her to come on the podcast claire i know we've talked about it it was literally the week that
well that was like shady we didn't know what happened well yeah because she had messaged me
and she's like so when are we podcasting i was like i'm free this week if you are and then the
next day dale posted their mutual breakup and then the day after that she was like, so when are we podcasting? I was like, I'm free this week if you are. And then the next day Dale posted their mutual breakup. And then the day after that,
she was like, so I was just made aware when all of you were made aware of this
mutual quote unquote breakup. And I was like, okay, not the time to do the podcast. I'm going
to give you some time. And then I see they're like hanging out again. And I was like, what's going on?
What were your thoughts on Dale and her leaving early? Do you think she made a mistake? I like Dale. Dale's an incredible human being. You know, his presence, just he's such a
nice, kind person, big heart. When they left, I was kind of shocked right away. She didn't really
give anyone the chance that she gave Dale watching it back and seeing all the scenes that they had
together. Looking back, I look dumb for scenes that they had together i i i'm looking
back i look dumb for saying that i you know was starting to build emotional connection with her
i didn't think you looked dumb at all i think you were one of the few people that season who
genuinely had a connection with her because you were one of the few who had like actual time with
her were you heartbroken or i wouldn't say i was heartbroken my heart was uh definitely feeling you know a little
from you know her leaving but not not a heartbreak okay but that's disappointing when you're starting
to develop feelings for someone and they're just like peace out I'm engaged so how did that whole
process work so how long were you waiting in between Tayshia arriving and did they have to
quarantine her and like what happened yeah I mean I can't really go into how long it was. Uh, however, we were all kind of speculating
like what's going to happen. Is this going to turn a bachelor's in paradise? Are we going home?
Are we going to have a second shot? And, uh, then we, you know, we go into the room. We don't know
who the bachelorette is. Chris Harrison says, we have a bachelorette from the franchise you guys are gonna love her she's amazing and out walks taisha boom what were your first thoughts
other than she was a smoke show i knew that was coming um you know she was wearing this you know
gold black dress huge smile you can just tell that she was she was there she brought some energy into
the room that some of the guys,
all their heads were down.
We all thought we were going home.
So it was just a second life.
It was a rebirth almost.
Yeah.
Love that.
With Tayshia.
So that finished up.
Is she still with her man now?
Did they get engaged?
Yeah, they're still together.
It was Zach.
Yeah, they got engaged.
I like Zach.
That was cool.
So you brought up Bachelor in Paradise, though. Oh, yeah. So
imagine that season just turned into
bam, you're in Bachelor in Paradise, and then all
of these girls arrive. Smoke shows.
Smoke show after smoke show. What would be the dream
cast? Ooh. I mean, first of all,
if that happened, that would have been amazing.
Especially because we were just hanging by the pool
all day. We were in Palm Springs. We had the perfect setup.
I would say a dream cast
would be a blend of Pilot Pete season. You can take me too if you like to bro excuse pilot pete season
and this is friendship out of anybody here he wants to take jamie should be going uh fine you
can take jamie you brock ruined my dreams of being the bachelorette okay thank you can you have like
can you add a plus one oh that
that would be dangerous maybe i just become like love island right so dream okay dream team dream
team um kelly flanagan victoria paul noah who's on my season spencer who's uh on my season well
we're we're uh very close friends. He lives three blocks away from me.
Jamie likes Spencer.
Chris Connern was voted off the first night,
and he didn't really get to show himself and who he is.
He's an amazing person.
McKenna, Ivan, Damar, Victoria Fuller, and my boy, Jason Foster.
How many people can you have on this island?
Shout out to Kelly. There's like 20 or 30.
She's my business partner.
Which one was, oh, yeah.
Yeah, she's a sugar taco investor.
That's cool.
So glad you want her there.
You'll get free tacos for life.
Wait, she probably, I mean, I know they haven't announced the cast yet,
so we don't know who's going to be there, but after her and Pete broke up,
that would be amazing.
It could be likely that she gets asked to go.
Yes, I ship that.
Ooh. Yeah. Now ship that. Ooh.
Yeah.
Now, out of, okay, out of, shut up, Brock.
Out of the women you've named, are these, like, girls who are, like, bros for you?
Or you don't have to say who.
Are there any who, if you were to go on Bachelor in Paradise, they're all there.
Your dream cast.
Is there someone that you would want to ask out on a date?
Yeah. Which chicks would go? cast is there someone hidden on that you would want to ask out on a date yeah which chicks we
got um you know i i would say you know victoria paul would be nice to to me she the nurse no she
was the one who was with the country singer before right from pete season i believe that was victoria
fuller oh god too many victorias uh mckenna is super sweet i I did a live wine review with her, and she would be another great person to have on the island,
or where we are.
And then Kelly would be cool to meet.
Victoria?
I liked Kelly.
Kelly and who?
Because Kelly, I think, was one of the few
who you knew from the beginning was taking the show very seriously.
And she's smart.
She's a lawyer.
Yeah, and I liked that she was of the right age to be on the show.
All of these, like, 21-year-olds going on,
being like, I want to get married.
Bullshit.
You want to get followers.
That's what I heard about Claire's season
is that they originally casted younger guys,
like early 20s,
and then she was like, no, I want older,
because she's, what, 38?
What was she?
She's 39, yeah.
And they were casting, like, 22-year-olds.
Yeah, I was a part of the recast.
Yeah, so that's how you got on is because she said, I want older guys.
Yeah, they had a cast of, like, 22 to 25-year-olds,
and Damar was probably the youngest guy on our season.
And then they casted guys all in their 30s,
and at the time I was 31, celebrating my birthday out there.
Oh, yeah, so you're 32 now?
Yeah.
It's a little ridiculous that Claire is the one
that would have to tell them, cast older.
Come on.
I mean, you know the lead's going to be, is 39 years old.
She knows what she wants.
You got to cast.
But, okay, Jamie, speaking of, I'm not going to,
you're not at Claire's age yet,
but how old are the guys you date?
First of all,
just because they're in the fucking DMs
at 22 years old
doesn't mean I'm dating them.
It means a hidden what?
You should receive those DMs.
All right, I'm going to play a little game real quick.
Fuck, marry, kill.
Oh.
Callie. Oh, boy. Victoria. receiving those dms all right i'm gonna play a little game real quick fuck mary kill oh cali oh boy victoria and who was the third one mckenna am i allowed to do this yeah you have to
it's a game not kill you're just sending them home from bachelor in paradise you're not giving
her a rose yeah she doesn't get a rose all right i'm probably uh mary McKenna, kill Victoria, fuck Kelly.
Or vice versa, marry Kelly, fuck Victoria, kill McKenna.
I don't know.
You just covered all your bases.
He's like, and the third way around.
Don't take that too serious.
I have Kelly's number if you'd like to text her.
Why McKenna?
Why is McKenna the marriage?
Why would we marry McKenna?
She's just a sweetheart.
She seems like she's very humble.
Victoria is a Victorian animal.
Are they all brunettes?
I don't know.
Yeah, they are all brunettes.
Yeah, what's your type?
Or blonde.
You know, I'd say more of a brunette guy
yeah me too
personally
yeah
I heard you say that
on that last episode
yeah Brock definitely
has a type
fuck all you guys
you gonna have a talk Jamie?
I'm blonde
and you're saying
you guys like brunettes
so
but I don't like blonde
I don't like blonde dudes
just because we like brunettes
doesn't mean we discriminate
against blondes
if a blonde fell in the lap you're like oh i mean if i'm not your first choice then
i'd rather be with a guy who's his first choice is a blonde although i switch my hair back and
forth that's i was gonna say are you a natural blonde jayme maybe this is why you got problems
with these 20 year olds you'd like don't be too picky like they i'm not i think people might don't be too picky
that's the worst advice what are you talking about oh you gotta be picky come on we're we're
not even gonna get into a jamie life dating update on this one because we just have too
much to talk to you about i do too okay that's why i just don't want to be too happy too picky
because you know it's like listen here don't want to be too happy to do picky because, you know, it's like, listen here. Don't settle.
Yeah, you're right, actually.
Jesus.
Yeah, sorry, that was a mixed message.
Anyways, Jason, how many suits did you pack to go on the show?
Because I'm always so curious how many dresses the girls have to bring, how many suits the guys have to bring.
Did you have to, like, buy them?
Did you borrow them?
So I've been in sales for about nine years now.
So I had four of my suits, and then I actually went and bought a suit at Suit Supply, the linen suit.
That was my favorite one.
Yeah, I like that one.
Yeah, I bought that for myself.
I guess the second time around for the girls, this looked like they had suitcases, right?
They had to have.
You're limited with how many suitcases you can bring, right?
Yeah, I only brought one big suitcase and a small suitcase.
Did you take a Speedo out with you?
Oh, yeah.
There you go.
The noodle bags.
It was not.
Yeah, the noodle bags.
No, they had me walking out of the pool looking all, you know.
All dripping wet.
David Hasselhoff, Maywatch.
That's my boy.
Did not get in there.
Because I was a swimmer.
He made you proud.
Yeah.
So in case you guys didn't know this, but my friend over here is a pretty good athletic swimming body.
Oh.
Looks good in a Speedo.
Next to me.
So, okay, so you got like a swim scholarship, right?
Or you swam in college?
Yeah, I got a full ride swim scholarship to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
So I lived in San Luis Obispo.
You love San Luis.
Great city, right?
That's why I moved to California.
So I was in New york city i had like
a personal training business and i visited san luis obispo fell in love and with the city not a
person and and just moved there at like the drop of i sold my business i sold everything i owned
and i just wanted a change from the city and i lived lived in San Luis Obispo for like a year and it was amazing. What street did you live on?
I was on High Gara, right downtown.
Right downtown, yeah.
And then I moved to Johnson.
Perfect.
In a house.
That's like the perfect location.
Were you in one of the apartment buildings?
I may have managed one.
So yeah, I was there.
Maybe you were my tenant.
Car Hill Apartments?
No.
And then I was right on Grand,
on Grand Avenue going up to the college.
That was our swim house.
Okay.
So we had like five to seven guys in the swim house that we lived on Grand.
Was it just like Bachelor?
Was it just like Bachelor?
Did you go to the Thursday night farmer's markets?
All the time.
How good were they?
They were amazing.
Why isn't that anywhere else?
They would have bands and all of the restaurants would go out on the street and they would be grilling.
It was just amazing.
It blows Little Italy's farmer's market out of the water.
It's just the college town, small community, walking around bands, really good food, bars.
Did you go up to Big Sur?
I did.
What a magical place.
Right?
Yeah.
I mean, honestly, that's why I moved to California.
I hiked Big Sur.
Do you know where Pfeiffer Falls is?
I've never hiked it.
I just kind of drove by and kind of looked at it.
But I need to put that on the bucket list.
I was standing there, and all of a sudden I was like, I heard a voice.
And I was just like, I need to move to California.
And I did it.
It's my calling.
One of the voices Jamie hears told her to move to California.
Aren't you all glad I listened?
That's a good thing.
Yes.
So who were you closest with in the house, and who do you keep in touch with?
Because I feel like I see you with Spence all the time.
Is he still single, just asking for a friend?
He is very single.
Who's your friend?
She's sitting right next to me.
No, she's not.
No.
I don't want to know
that does spence like blondes or is he a brunette guy too oh see jamie i'm not i'm not asking oh
jamie's dating someone i would say it's closest to uh jason foster uh-huh on the show uh we're
just kind of we're in the same industry and jason. We kind of make little funny stepbrothers.
That's cute.
And then I was close with Jay,
my whole red team squad with the dodgeball.
Oh, yeah.
I remember that. So is this what happens when you drink
from the Kool-Aid of The Bachelor?
Is that The Bachelorette and Bachelor Kool-Aid?
What do you mean?
When you rhyme your names with your friends.
We just had a bromance.
Don't be jealous because he has a Jason.
He fucking left me.
And then Ben was my roommate.
So we spent a lot of time together.
And I actually just saw him in Venice two weekends ago.
Gotcha.
So there's like bachelorisms that I feel like have gone into like the diction.
Is that the word I'm looking for?
Of like everyday society, like as you speak.
So it's like, like that being said, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Or like, what are some of the other ones?
Oh, I had a target on my back.
Or like.
Stay in your lane.
There for the right reasons.
There for the right reasons. for the right reasons and then the
one that gets me the most and you do this sheena what is like when you're talking about two people
like brock and eyes relationship and i feel like me and brock i as a possessive is not
grammatically correct and it started on the Bachelor. Well, let's come on.
Right?
No,
like every time
they're talking about
the couple,
it's like so-and-so
and I's relationship
but shouldn't it be like
Brock and my relationship?
Mine and Brock's relationship?
This show did really well
on the idea of this date
putting two people in a room
and putting them on dates.
I don't think they looked
into like the vocabulary
that was coming out
they're fucking up
the vocabulary
of America
fantasy suites
when they got
the fantasy suites
production was like
we've done it
we've bloody done it
now run 25 seasons
of the same shit
do you think
at some point
it's going to stop
and they're going to
just
because I feel like
Bachelor in Paradise
is the better show it is oh it's by to stop? Because I feel like Bachelor in Paradise is the better show.
It is.
Oh, it's by far a better show.
I've never seen it.
What?
So I need to go watch it.
You should watch it because who knows?
Maybe you'll be on it.
You might be on there.
Who knows?
So you didn't watch any of the Bachelor or Bachelorette before you went on it?
I watched.
So I watched Hannah B's season.
Didn't you?
You applied for that season, didn't you you applied for that season
didn't you
well my friends
sent my application
gotcha
yeah my friends
sent my application to her
and then
I decided to stay
with my girlfriend
when I was going
through the process
so I started like
dating in the beginning
but the process
is so long
so then when that happened
I said
alright I gotta make
a decision here
he made the right decision
he stuck with his girlfriend
yeah
clearly it wasn't right
turned out to be turned out he did the right decision but it was better to girlfriend. Yeah. Clearly it wasn't right. Turned out to be.
Turned out he did the right decision.
But it was better to go on Claire and Tayshia's.
Was it?
Because you would have had.
Over Hannah, the blonde.
He would have been out of COVID.
He would have had the actual experience.
I would have been able to travel.
I would have been able to.
So you could travel with, like, you go on a date with that person.
You spend that time going to that event.
Or do you guys meet each other there?
I just think Claire was a better box.
Like, if you were flying with each each other you're going to get on a
flight together oh you just fly separately and meet at the place oh that's weird yeah but you
wanted to be on hannah's season i you know i my friends were like hey we're going to send your
application and i didn't really think anything about it and i got a phone call and you know
went through that whole process was in the finals and And then I pulled the jet cord to, uh, to stay in a relationship, which, you know,
I kind of regret, but then again, I don't. And I got that opportunity again. So
everything happens for a reason. Totally. But I heard on another podcast that you did that
right before going on the bachelorette, you were dating somebody and she cheated on you.
She did.
Wait, the one that I know?
Well, let's not use names here.
We're not using names.
That's why I just said the one who I know.
We won't use any names.
But, you know, I was vulnerable.
I put my heart out there.
I really liked this person.
And then, you know, she got back with her ex-boyfriend.
So, you know, that happened.
And during quarantine or during COVID happening, I just said, hey, why not?
Like, I'm going to try this process again and see if it works.
And if there's emotional connection out there where I can potentially find my wife, let's make it happen.
How did you find out she cheated on you?
Wait, before we get into that, because that's juicy.
It's juicy. Got Gotta take a little break. Yeah. Shout out to our next sponsor brought to you by Better Help. And that's Help, H-E-L-P. So Jamie first told me about this. And I've heard a few of my

out? So the night we were hanging out, you know, just kind of a little shady, just saw her kind of
walking like back and forth, not really spending a lot of time with me. I asked her to come over
and she said, oh yeah, I'll be there in 10, 10-15 minutes she never showed up and then you know san diego is such a small city i have you know a huge network of friends i have a
lot of trust between people that you know mean a lot to me i mean a lot to them and i got a text
from someone saying you know they saw her get in a car with someone so you know i called her out
she didn't answer called her again and then i heard a you know basketball game in the background so it's like you don't watch basketball like what the where the hell are you and already
have that knowledge in the back that someone saw her get in a car so called her out she uh you know
she told me the truth and then I said sayonara she was that dumb to go out in public it's i mean it's 2021 there are iphones they're like i mean people
get caught when you go out in public now like that shit you could have done 15 years ago but
like especially in san diego like she we run into someone we know every single time we go to barbusa
especially if you're chasing and like i said he's the first president after myself here of the mayor
of san diego you know right but also, who would cheat on you? Why?
Yeah.
That's a better question.
I'd treat her like a princess.
Princess quality.
I'd put my heart out on the line.
I haven't had the best luck with some relationships in the past,
so if there was an opportunity to go to Paradise,
it would be amazing to meet someone and, you know,
get to know them and take that next step.
But, yeah, i was in um my
first relationship i felt like a ticking time bomb was gonna go off every time we were in a social
setting and the second one she was a fun sucker uh and then fun sucker let's go out he's like
nah bro i'm not doing that i just want to stay in chained um and then you know that third one
you know we just kind of got to that stage
where we were,
you know,
a boyfriend,
girlfriend.
And then,
I just think of it more
of kind of just dating now.
So,
I'm not going to give her
that dignity.
Damn.
Okay.
So,
speaking of dating,
how do you usually meet girls?
Are you on dating apps?
Like,
are you on Hinge?
Are you on Bumble?
Are you on Raya?
Well, better yet,
how has it changed
now that after the show?
That's what I want to know.
That's the follow-up question.
Oh, sorry.
Jumping the gun, honey.
I'll slow down.
So, speaking of dating apps,
on no dating apps,
I downloaded only Hinge one time
and that was when I was in New York
to kind of get an ego boost
to see what, you know,
I could match up with. That's what it is, Brian. It's a short connection. time and that was when i was in new york to kind of get an ego boost to see what you know i love
that it's a shark yeah and then um you're lying i i we do extensive research here at shenanigans
did you match we know that you were on tinder and you got catfished that is right well that was a
long long time ago that was a long time ago i mean that was when tinder first came out so that's that was when it was okay but post show yeah we're talking post show i would
say mutual friends and then now it's uh instagram uh dms are actually a thing yeah that's that's
how brock and i started dating but for everyone listening uh when you have a private account
you can't thank you yes who the person is so unless you are have a private account, you can't see who the person is.
So unless you are sending a message and you get that opportunity to kind of double click to view the image real quick.
But it's not even worth the time.
Do not DM people unless you are public.
100%.
I agree.
Because if you DM someone and then I want to see who you are just based off that small little photo and then I unfollow you, I'm going to do it just because it's just my page.
It's my privacy.
I just said this like a couple episodes ago.
Other than that, mutual friends, I think the best relationships are made when you're connected by a mutual friend.
I agree.
I like meeting people the old-fashioned way.
Okay, cool.
That doesn't exist anymore.
But it does.
That's how I met Brock.
And then he slid into the DMs.
You met me partying like 2 a.m. in the morning.
In person, I'm saying.
Yeah, that's cool.
Like the old-fashioned way.
You meet someone at a bar.
You meet them in person.
You get to know them right away.
I knew a little bit about you that night.
So when you slid in the DMs, I knew I wanted to respond.
And I got some tea also.
I mean, right after the show, someone slid in my DMs.
We were talking.
We were kind of going through that dating process for a little bit.
And then just living in two different states, I saw on her Instagram story that she was talking to one of the guys
who was from the original cast.
So that completely ended.
That's some tea for everyone.
Can you tell us who?
We'll bleep her name.
It was a pageant girl who reached out to me.
Oh.
What's the opening line?
Yeah, what's your guy to?
What do we see?
No, honestly, she was the one who. She slid it. No, not you. What did the opening line? Yeah, what's your go-to? What do we see? No, honestly, she was the one who.
She slid it.
No, not you.
What did she say to you?
Oh, I was at my sister's house,
and they made this incredible sushi roll,
and she's like, oh, that looks great.
And then it was just kind of like I saw her pictures,
and they were just kind of like transitioning into talking
and then going from there.
That's a good one.
Actually, to DM from like a reaction on like some of these shit. I there that's a good one actually to dm from like a
reaction on like i think that's the best that's a smart way instead of sliding into the normal
message yeah actually like paying attention to what they're eating like oh i like sushi
was that just like responding to a story exactly like that's good i think the that's jamie's the
flame emojis like overused how's it going for you you know someone's story but yeah uh i think if if i'm
gonna go aside in someone's dm i'm saying hey i'm chasing like i want to talk to you how are you
and if she wants to make that decision you know i couldn't tell by the name of your name bro
you can look at my profile and go from there so who's your celebrity crush
oh um i would say it's kate beckinsale back in the day yeah she's hot which one's a good one
we just watched a movie i think that like action what is it called underworld yeah underworld oh
yeah yeah yeah we just watched jennifer aniston you know friends in the past i don't get the
jennifer aniston thing i i think it's just like the american yeah i know american girl next door yeah i never
did that one my one was that chick actually i don't even have jessica beal really oh you like
athletic jt's girl yeah yeah and then she's married jt no like because of jennifer and angelina
like i'm always gonna go with angelina miranda kerr who uh she's gorgeous yeah married the
snapchat guy she was with Orlando Bloom.
So she's up there.
Oh, she married Snapchat?
Okay.
Nice.
All right.
So Jamie made a note, which I did know when you broke your wrist that you had an accident,
but I forgot that it was a bird accident.
And so Jamie had made a note about that that we both had bird accidents
both of you so no you and I yeah yeah yeah and so um set me back right before you got here I was
like wait I was like I don't think I ever asked how you broke your wrist I just remember seeing
him in a cast and was like I hope you okay. But he was saying before you got here that
major PTSD after
a bird. Neither of you can get on a bird
ever again. She finally did. I got on my
first bird like a week ago.
You got back on the horse.
You got back on the horse, yeah.
I was terrified. I was going like
seven to ten miles per hour.
What happened when you broke your wrist?
I went over the handlebars.
What did you hit?
I hit a pothole in downtown.
Oh, damn.
I went over the handlebars, and I didn't know it was broken.
And so I went to the doctor the next day.
He said, you broke your scaphoid.
And that effect, like you might have to get surgery.
Luckily, I didn't have to get surgery.
I had a cast on for three months.
It was brutal.
And it was my right hand. And I'm right- right handed so i couldn't do really anything and damn can we also talk about why you weren't at the
mental all yeah no we can go into that um so you know i actually got invited the mental all
flew out there and then i tested positive for the good old covid wait you didn't test before
you flew like what did you think? No, I did.
He got it on the phone.
No, I did a rapid test at home and I had it as negative.
And then when I got there, I was positive.
Were you asymptomatic?
Yeah, I didn't have any symptoms.
That's crazy.
How was that experience? I wouldn't have known.
You know, if I was out here and I didn't get tested, I could have easily exposed to other people.
So I'm glad that I took the precautions and quarantined for 10 days in a cabin.
Yeah.
How would you say your life has changed since being on the show?
Life is very different now.
I've got to be just completely real with you.
Just being noticed in public before.
I know a lot of people in San Diego, but being at the beach house,
people walking by on the boardwalk and saying,
Hi, Jason.
Jason.
Can I get a photo?
Can I get a photo?
And when I'm not there, my friends live there, my very close friends.
And they're like, hey, does Jason live here?
Where is he?
People are coming up to me.
Hey, can you call my girlfriend a smoke show on a video?
Are you on Cameo?
Yeah, it's on Cameo.
I'm getting you on Cameo.
I can get on Cameo soon.
Oh, yeah.
And then other than that, just people are being very receptive to asking me to come on podcasts, Zooms.
I actually went on a sorority chapter
zoom just to, you know, make an appearance, which was kind of fun. Um, it was like you and 20
sorority girls, 150. Wow. Yeah. I was thrown into the wolves. I literally just was like talking to
them and they were asking me questions and it was very unstructured and and then I kind of ran the whole thing but it it was funny because they were all taking like
pictures and videos of me on the zoom and I was like all right I feel like I got someone now like
I don't know I made it yes okay so what do you do with all of this what do you segue into um you
know I've been working with the same company for nine years, hopefully transitioning
into something awesome, coming out with my own canned cocktail tequila line. So what is the
tequila can company called? Kilo. Love that. Okay, tell me more. And it's going to be a margarita
de agave for 10% and it's agave stripped into a wine can. There'll also be a skinny margarita
and a spicy margarita. How do you spell kilo? Q-U-I-L-O. It's going to be in mom and pop shops.
If you see it, go ahead and purchase that. I mean a lot. Jamie only needs two cans. I'll take the
spicy. Spicy is great. Tasted the other day. So it the the full margarita is already in the can so
you don't have to add anything yeah it's stripped out of agave lime syrup and you just pour it into
ice nice cup of ice yeah do you think after two cans you'd just like be like out for the count
because that's what this wine does to this yeah i mean have you had a like a cup water no like uh
those are really those are probably heavier, more in sugar,
but this is a little bit lighter.
You probably had two of them.
You'd be feeling nice and tissue.
What's the alcohol percentage per can?
10%.
Okay.
So deep.
Oh my gosh.
That's 11.
Yeah.
You're going.
We'll give you two.
You'll be speaking to me.
I like that.
That's cool.
She'll be hearing voices.
Do you have any of the red here?
I might.
I hear he likes red.
Okay.
We'll check the fridge after this.
And then segueing into just, I mean, anything, any opportunities that come across, I'm actually
going to see if I can get this approved, but giving back to a nonprofit for clean water,
clean energy.
Love that.
With a company that I had a Zoom call with today and going through solar.
So doing a little campaign with solar and then donations will go towards that. Nice. That charity.
Love that. So your love language is acts of service. That's correct. So what would a female
have to do for you, for you to, I just honestly love it when, you know when I'm very close to my family. I love it when
my significant other does
something for someone else.
So I think that kind of just
makes my heart grow a little bit more.
Someone who's kind, has a big heart,
it goes a long way with me.
That's my love language too.
I love that.
We did just talk about that. What's yours, remember? Yeah, we did just talk about that.
What's yours, babe?
Yeah, what's yours?
Mine is words of affirmation.
Good to know.
Thank you.
What's yours, Brock?
Acts of service.
Yeah, so, okay.
So I'm the odd man out.
No.
I like compliments.
No, is it because you have a love language, how you want to be loved and how you're loved, right?
Is it two different?
Because mine are different.
I feel like for me, I mean, words of affirmation,
and I think quality time was kind of like up there,
but I'm really big on like gift giving and doing acts of service.
That's how you show your love.
Yeah.
Doing acts of service.
But I appreciate words of affirmation and quality time
because I just like want to feel the love back because I'm so good at giving it.
And Brock's really good at that.
So how does Brock show his love to you?
He tells me he loves me so many times a day.
And it's funny because when we started dating, when we started dating, he was one of those like, oh, I'm not just going to throw that word around.
But then like, boom, we're in Bali. He tells me he loves me he tries to deny it whatever he did and I mean
just every day whether it's him saying it or showing it it literally is several times every
single day like yesterday at the photo shoot oh I just won't do that no quiet he got emotional
when I was taking the photos.
And then that made me emotional.
And they're playing, like, the sweetest music.
And I was like, we need, like, gangsta rap.
I was like, I can't.
Like, it was just, it was such a beautiful moment.
And just those little things, that's my, like, love language I need.
I love that you have that.
Yeah.
I love that you give that to her.
Jamie, what about yourself?
Well, acts of service.
Acts of service?
Yeah, but also physical touch.
I mean, who doesn't like physical touch?
I'm so affectionate.
Like, I just.
Yeah, especially when you got a couple of mushrooms in your system.
You're like, touch me, sit on me, hug me, love me.
I made Sheena sit on top of me.
Literally sit on top of her. And I'm like, girl, I have like 40 extra pounds on me. Hug me. Love me. I made Sheena sit on top of me. Literally sit on top of her.
And I'm like, girl, I have like 40 extra pounds on me right now.
Are you sure?
She just touched me.
All right.
Speaking about potting, life is beautiful.
Where are you going?
Are you going?
I'm in.
Yes.
Depending on when.
Is it in September?
September.
Yeah, baby.
Yeah.
And outside lands.
We got to get those.
Yeah.
I've always wanted to go to that one.
What's outside lands? It's in San Francisco. It's in San Francisco. Yeah. Let's go. They have better music there. Yeah. And Outside Lands. We got to get those. Yeah. I've always wanted to go to that one. What's Outside Lands?
It's in San Francisco.
Let's go.
They have better music there.
Yeah.
But that's still in California.
Life is Beautiful is in Nevada.
I don't see California having festivals this year.
Yeah.
At all.
What kind of music do you like?
I pretty much like anything, but I.
Do you like 2000s emo?
EDM.
EDM house dance. Depends when there's a bottle getting popped
if it's a bottle getting popped we like that music
whatever's happening
as long as we're popping bottles
classic rock that's our go to
that's us go to man I miss the hard rock
days hard rock pool party in the summer
honey oof it's so much fun we'll come
down here for a party
hard rock pool house yeah it's far out that's not going to be this summer honey. Oof. It's so much fun. We'll come down here for a party. Sand Black. Hard Rock. Hard Rock. Pool House. Pool House. Yeah.
Yeah. Oh, it's far out.
That's not going to be this summer. No.
This summer we're going to have a baby.
Maybe. We're going to be in LA.
We're not going to be in San Diego
partying. We can come down here on the weekend.
We have a baby this summer. We have your mom as well.
Come on.
How are we going to do Life is Beautiful with the baby?
So, we've already got this figured out.
I have joined rooms.
I got two hotel rooms.
I've joined rooms.
My parents are coming out.
They're going to have the baby.
So I'm not leaving her.
We're going to go to the festival.
We're going to mask up.
We're in the VIP section.
We're going to keep our distance from people. We're going to be safe. And then we're going to come back to the festival. We're going to mask up. We're in the VIP section. We're going to keep our distance from people.
We're going to be safe, and then we're going to come back
to the baby, but my mom's going to be
the one in charge.
I'm hoping... We're not going back to the baby. We're going to go party
and we're going to have our mom out there taking care of the baby
in a different room, but we'll be right next door.
We'll be right next door. And then we can visit her.
Yeah, exactly.
What do you mean no one? Because we're partying.
I'm going to go visit her. If you're coming off a trip of mushrooms, want to go see my little girl?
Okay, let me make something very clear. I don't like mushrooms. I've done them three times in my
entire life, but I feel like the way I'm being portrayed on this podcast is that I'm always on
mushrooms, but I'm not. That's the picture I'm getting right now.
Three times in my entire life and I've hated it all.
It's like, it was because you eat so much.
We're like, bro.
She just like on New Year's took a handful and instead of just like micro dosing, eats the whole handful.
What goes through your mind when you're like, I should have a little or a lot?
Because someone who I thought knew what they were doing told me, take this.
And I'm like, okay.
In reference to?
I'm not going to say who.
Say his name.
We'll just get a big doubt.
No, we're not going to say who.
Who was it?
Anyway, some fan questions came in to wrap this up.
Let's do this.
All right.
First one, Noel Hunsinger wants to know know what's it like being so hot
well no
thank you
for the compliment
you know
I'm just myself
I
you know
I
I have no answer
and also
Carol Brown said
so handsome
there were a lot of those
that came in
our friend Mindy Howland
oh yeah
she just responded with
mmm
mmm I had one of those questions honey I got asked that and one when i was like
how do you respond to that six i was like 15 it's not a question you really answer
thank you exactly see i didn't i fucked this one up what did you say i was moved from the beach
and we moved into inland and so i went to the school and I was at my sister's school.
I had like blonde hair, like bleach blonde hair.
And so I was a new kid, right?
And then this chick was like, like all day I was like,
girls were giving me compliments.
And it was the first time I ever got attention.
I promise you, I fucked this up.
Like it's embarrassing.
I still remember it in my head.
She came up to me and she was just like, oh, you're hot.
And I was like, just going, thank you. I was like, yeah, you're hot. And I was like, instead of just going, thank you,
I was like, yeah, I've heard it all day.
So, yeah, thanks, mate.
Yeah, people just keep telling me that.
People just tell me that all day.
So, yeah, appreciate it.
But it was just how it came out.
I'm like, oh, that was so funny.
She just looked at me.
She's like, you're an idiot.
What do you guys think of, like, the whole of the whole thing of being a jerk like that?
Does that attract a certain type of girl?
It shouldn't.
It shouldn't because it means they're insecure, right?
It does.
It means there's trouble coming, but it's all in hindsight, you know?
No one can really control how they feel.
It's so annoying.
So you're not trying to be an asshole or a bad guy?
I wasn't trying to be an asshole, but I said that and I knew I was.
As soon as it came out of my mouth, I was like,
what was that?
And you're trying to regurgitate it back, you know?
All right. That's what it is.
Sagstab wants to know what your zodiac sign is.
I am a Leo.
A Leo?
So is my sister.
Right?
July 25th.
Love that.
Last question, because this is a good one,
from my girl, the Brandy Ann, wants to know,
if you could go back and give yourself advice beginning of the show, what would it be?
If I were to give myself advice, I would say to stay calm and not kind of react to certain things.
That's kind of what put me in kind of the light in the drama that I got into it. And
I did try to stay calm multiple times, but you know, we're human. So you got to react.
Well, totally. You have cameras in your face. There's a lot of pressure. Like people don't
understand until you're in that position. And it's like, you can't be perfect all the time.
Yeah. Yeah. Would you do it all over again? I would, but I would need some more time
to get into the right mental space.
Okay.
So the pros and cons of reality,
what went through your mind
before you decided to do the show?
I really didn't dissect it too much.
I just said, I'm going to do this thing.
And then the first three days,
I'll never forget this
because I wrote this in my journal.
I remember just being reserved and calm and not knowing how to speak up and kind of position myself in certain ways.
And then after the three days, I just said, fuck it.
I'm just going to be myself.
And if America likes me or hates me, it's me.
Yeah, because then you can't ever have any doubt in yourself.
You can't finish the season or leave and be like, oh, I wish I did other things differently.
Yeah, and I acted real in everything I did,
and I'm just grateful that I was able to go on that journey.
Yes.
Well, I'm hoping that there's another journey for you coming up soon.
We're going to campaign.
Let's get Chasen on Bachelor in Paradise.
I don't know if me saying that means anything,
but I want to get Chasen on Bachelor in Paradise.
Let's do it.
Just put our song on the handjobs. Put a song right get Chasen on Bachelor in Paradise. So. Let's do it. Just put our song right here, Josh.
Put our song right here.
Oh, anyways.
All right.
Tell everyone where they can find you.
All right.
You can find me on my Instagram.
It's just my first and last name, Chasen Nick.
I also made a TikTok where I kind of like to roast myself a little bit.
Wait, time out.
Wait, how did we not mention the TikTok?
Jason underscore Nick.
Who in here did not watch these dances
and not question us?
All right, bro, real quickly.
That dance was made when I was in quarantine
and I was losing my mind.
So I was not in the right mental space.
Who am I to judge?
I think you've done a few TikToks too.
Yeah.
Brock.
I followed.
I had rhythm.
Oh, the shade.
I had a cast on.
Yeah, where was the one we saw?
It was funny as fuck.
It was fun and lighthearted.
Once my episode aired, I got roasted.
Can you send us that, TikTok?
Reddit depression and drinking a lot of wine.
