From Vanderpump Rules to Vegas and everywhere in between, it's time to party with Sheena Shea.
This is Shenanigans, and now here's your host, Sheena Shea.
Time to get into some post-Vegas shenanigans as Brock gives me a really big yawn.
Vegas was a good trip. Am I down for another one?
No.
Am I looking forward to next weekend?
No.
You're acting like someone's forcing you to go back next week.
Well, here's the thing.
It's not even this next.
So guys, just so you know what we're talking about.
We just went to Vegas this weekend.
Had a great trip.
Went to Life is a Beautiful Festival.
Took the family out there.
Went out with everybody.
But then the week before that, we were just in Vegas.
No, we were in San Diego the weekend before that.
Before that, for Labor Day, we were also in Vegas for a wedding.
That wasn't like a party weekend, though.
It wasn't like that was so exhausting.
But we still had the drive.
The drive.
And San Diego in between.
The drive is what gets me.
Yeah, but you're flying next weekend.
I know.
Next weekend is quite easy.
I'm flying in.
I'm going to watch football. He's also flying in from North Carolina, though. That's okay. I'm still flying in. Yeah, but you're flying next weekend. I know. Next weekend's quite easy. I'm flying in. I'm going to watch football. He's also
flying in from North Carolina, though.
That's okay. I'm still flying in. I'm going to watch
football, and then I'm flying out.
The next weekend, we're driving back to Vegas.
Yeah, we have a lot of
Vegas in our life right
now. So, let's
just go back. This will be it, right?
Well, no, because then we have your friend's birthday
the first weekend in November.
Remember the great Gatsby party at his gorgeous house?
Oh, Matt's place.
Yeah.
But we have a month break.
Perfect.
So it was such a fun weekend, a very long and exhausting weekend.
But let's just start from the beginning.
We drove out.
Well,
we know we didn't even meet at my mom's cause we were going to meet at my mom's have a little break just from the LA to Azusa.
And then,
you know,
like get her changed and whatnot,
kind of regroup.
And then it's only about three hours and like 15,
20 minutes from my mom's house.
However,
summer was sleeping.
So we're like,
we're just going to power through, and we're just going to
get there. Well, she's down. Get as many miles in.
Yeah. So we did that,
and we didn't stop until
what, like... What's that? Is it Barstow?
Barstow. Yeah, we stopped in Barstow.
She had a poop.
Every time we're in the car,
it just, I mean, it happened twice on the way back,
too. I think she'll be fine for potty training,
because I feel like every time we put her in the car seat she poops yeah and then she's just like
get me out of this i'll just put a hole in her car seat yeah we made a little pit stop and baker
at the alien jerky place met up with my parents there and then just kind of followed each other
the rest of the way and then we get to vegas we stayed at the d hotel downtown. We had such a nice suite.
If you're watching on Patreon, I'm going to pop that up right here.
And if you're not watching, it's in my YouTube vlog that is out this week.
But it was such a nice suite downtown.
So convenient to everything we needed to do that weekend.
And then we walked over that night.
Had a little double date with Tom and Ariana.
We went to-
Because they were staying at the Circa.
We were supposed to stay at Circa,
which, oh my God,
if you go to Vegas and you want to stay downtown,
this place is ridiculous.
But it's also, is it the only 21 and over?
In downtown?
I believe so.
But no, but in Vegas.
Like, I don't think any of the hotels.
Well, some of the night, not the hotels, but the nightclubs are 21 and over.
Well, of course.
All nightclubs are 21 and over.
Yeah, yeah.
But their hotel is 21 and over.
Yeah, but I don't think any of the other hotels, like, especially, like, on the Strip.
I mean, you could take a baby in any of those hotels.
Look, let me put it like this.
I'll be okay watching the Super Bowl there.
Right before you get in to Circa, like, they're checking your ID at the door.
And I'm sure no other place in Vegas is like that.
But it's nice.
You know, it's 21 and over.
So the D was so awesome.
They set us up with a limo and took us over to Circa.
I mean, it was, like, the quickest drive ever. I didn't even have time to finish a beer. took us over to Circa. I mean, it was like the quickest drive ever. I didn't even
have time to finish a beer, but we got to Circa. We did a nice double date with Tom and Ariana,
had an awesome dinner at this new place called Barry's, which was the chef from
Nine Steakhouse. It used to be at the Palms. Yeah. And I had done a birthday dinner there before, like with Ariana.
So we were excited to try that out.
The chef comes over to introduce himself.
I'm like, Barry, so this is your place, right?
He's like, that's the name.
He's like, well, I'm Barry.
So yeah.
But then it was cool because right before, we didn't even order a drink yet.
And one of the guys who works at the hotel said that some of the Golden Knights there,
which is the hockey team in Vegas, with their wives and girlfriends,
and they were fans and wanted to meet us.
So we go over and meet, like, the entire hockey team.
It was like, come to a game whenever you want to come.
And I was like, what?
They were just chilling out there?
It was just a nice start to a Vegas weekend.
And then we had...
I don't think we had a solid meal after that did we no
we had good tacos at the festival that's not a solid meal we had a sandwich not a solid meal
we ate at Stadium Swim not a solid I had a good salad there I'm hurting today from just three
days of bingey yeah we had dinner and then that night we're just like, okay, we need to get some sleep.
We got a long two days ahead of us.
And Friday morning, we woke up kind of early.
I mean, when she woke up, we just didn't go back to sleep.
Went to Mandalay Bay where they had the shark reef aquarium.
That was really cool to take summer to.
Because I grew up i mean like i
went there when i was younger i've gone there as an adult but i haven't been there in i don't know
15 years has it changed i don't think it's changed at all but i mean i've changed you know going
there with a baby was much different but that was cool to see her just like looking at all of the animals and stuff.
Taking her on a guided tour with her little dad, the Nareba.
I used to pretend I knew all the facts.
So when we walked through, I'd just read like the signs.
I'm like, oh, okay, this is a spiked bone catfish.
You know, the spikes on his back.
Yeah, whatever.
I would read them out and then people just look at me as if I'm just a factual knowledge from Jumanji.
Oh my gosh.
Wait, when was that?
Oh, when we were at the alpaca farm in Solvang or Santa Barbara, whatever.
Yeah.
And you were like, did you know the alpaca?
The alpaca is the smallest relative to the camel.
And apparently the alpacas all go to the bathroom together.
There you go.
They all go to the same spot so they don't deficit.
Deficate. Deficate. Is that the word? I don you go. They all go to the same spot so they don't defecate. Deficit?
Deficit?
Defecate.
Defecate?
Is that the word?
I don't know.
They take a shit everywhere.
But instead of that, they just do it in the same spot.
Yeah.
We did the morning there.
Family came.
My parents were in town to watch summer while we went to the festival.
My sister and Justice were there to go to the festival with us.
It was definitely really good to have them.
So we had our suite and then next door to our suite your mom had a room there too so it was just down the hall so that was great yeah so that was really nice we did our morning there
what did we do after that before the festival stadium swim oh yeah wait that was the same day
same day oh my gosh we did so much, I'm not exhausted for no reason.
I'm exhausted just talking about it again.
We got dinner to do tonight, and I'm going straight to bed with her.
We're not doing dinner.
We're making dinner at home.
Yes.
And it's a very easy meal to make.
You said we?
Me.
Perfect.
I will make dinner tonight, honey.
I love you.
I love you.
You picked up dinner last night.
I will make dinner tonight.
So, yeah.
So then we go back to Circa to go to their stadium swim.
This place, oh, my God.
I mean, the largest screen you've ever seen.
Like, that put IMAX theaters to shame.
Ridiculous.
You walk in and it's just, oh, sport.
Yeah.
So it's obviously a 21 and over pool.
The biggest screen you have ever seen with all the different sports stuff on it.
We're like, this is where we need to post up for the freaking Super Bowl.
Yeah.
I mean, unless we go to Super Bowl, we need to go to stadiums for Super Bowl.
Yeah.
One of those two.
Well, first off, we're going to find out how expensive tickets will be for the Super Bowl.
Well, I think when the pre-sale came out, because I have my season tickets, when the pre going to then spend an additional amount on the Super Bowl tickets.
And the only reason I didn't get that tier guaranteed in my season tickets was because
it was only for like when the Super Bowl is there.
And I'm like, well, it's not like it's going to be there every year.
If it was every year, I would have paid for that because it would have been worth it.
But $6,000 starting price.
I told you.
Yeah.
Crazy.
And that's for like the top, top of SoFi.
Why?
Because it's Super Bowl.
It's LA.
It's literally the biggest and best stadium in the entire world, honey.
It was what, $5.5 billion to build that?
If Tom Brady goes back again, never mind.
It's not worth 12 grand for nosebleeds.
No, it's not.
I'm just saying, if Tom Brady goes back, it'll be fun to watch from Swin Stadium.
Yeah, so we were at that place we had the crew with us the food was really good who's paying six grand i see families at football games at super bowls i know maybe they're like companies like
get tickets or something and then they give them to their employees that's wild i know the only
super bowl i've ever been to was free tickets.
I don't want to pay for that shit.
The Olympics aren't even that expensive.
How do you know?
Because I looked at going when I wanted to go to the Olympics.
Oh.
Yeah, the Olympic tickets aren't that expensive.
Let me find out.
So, yeah, stadium swim, dope.
Food was really good.
Drinks were good.
We had a pitcher of Frosé, well, a couple pitchers of Frosé.
That was bomb.
And then back to the hotel. got ready for the festival night one i had like my most sparkly outfit on because i felt
like you know night one you go all out i did my crystals like my or not crystal yeah they're
crystals but like your little face jewels well if you really want to know what a very visual
description of what we all wore raquel raquel made a very lovely post to her mom it was a text message that she sent her on
Instagram and this was highlighting everything to her it was so cute it was just like and then we
ran into Brock and Sheena and Brock had a ruby jewel on his eye a red coat like the beast that
wear from Raquel I love you. I know.
Raquel, you are the definition of pretty.
Yeah.
We were watching you the whole night, creepy as hell,
but you're just living your best life.
I have some adorable videos of her dancing
that will probably be in my vlog.
She just is, she's the cutest.
If a Disney princess were to twerk and shake her ass-
That's Raquel.
That's Raquel. 100%. In the most prettiest way. And you're shake her ass, that's Raquel.
100%.
In the most prettiest way.
And you're like, yeah, get it, girl.
Yeah.
It was like, who were we?
Was it Ludacris?
It was Ludacris.
And then it was like, drop it like it's hot or drop it low, whatever.
Oh, no.
It was the, how low can you go?
How low can you go?
And she just did that.
She went low.
And she's tall.
So for her to go low, like all the way down to the floor.
Well done, Mikkel.
Yeah, it was adorable.
She was my MVP for the weekend.
She was the best.
So yeah, we did night one.
Who did we see?
People ask me all the time who do we see at festivals.
Right?
Oh, we saw Lainey.
So I don't even think you knew who that band was.
I didn't know who Lainey was, but I didn't know this band, but I really liked them. Glass Animals. Oh, we saw Laney. So I don't even think you knew who that band was. Didn't know who Laney was. But I didn't know this band, but I really liked them.
Glass Animals.
Oh, yeah.
So I only know who they are from other festivals I've been to,
like Coachella's and whatnot.
Or maybe even Life is Beautiful, because Sandoval and Ariana like them.
I like them.
That was good.
I enjoy going to Life is Beautiful.
The music there was really funny.
When I go to a party and all that, I overthink everything.
And I think about like
concept of like what this music provokes in people and like how art is and like watching like the
class animals and how like artistic they are and actually watching Green Day yeah was this like
watching a history of rock of all these kids have grown up with them since I was young and then to
see these guys still up there jamming was pretty cool. Oh, it was so fun. But I will say one of like, I don't want to say my favorite part because then I feel bad because we lost people.
But one of my favorite things that happened on Friday night was when our crew got separated.
And then it was like, there's no service.
So it's like, you know, you just have to hang with who you're with.
And it ended up just being us, Sandoval, and Ariana's girlfriend, Carla, who's also a mom.
And we thought we were going to one stage.
And so we all have, we call ourselves the Blinky Ring Gang.
We all have these little blinky rings.
Now, before you guys make fun of the blinky rings,
it's actually genius.
I know.
Now people are going to catch on and they're going to do it.
I can't believe more people haven't caught on by now.
Here's the thing.
When I was like, oh, Tom with his little gadgets,
he's got blinky rings, here we go.
But it wasn't until this festival when I wanted to see everybody.
And what we do is when we get to a space,
if you're not with somebody, if you're not with your group,
you just put you in your dance,
you just put your finger up in the air, you know?
And obviously by night too,
everyone knows the areas of the stage that we go to.
I'm like, oh, oh okay we're around here
and we just look around for blinky rings and you see like one or you see lights and then generally
hopefully you see like four or five and it's the whole crew yeah and it's the best so easy to find
everyone you're just partying and boom something pops out of nowhere like yeah blinky rings yeah
we just gave that away everyone's going to be doing but you know what we've been doing this
for years and no one's done it yet.
Amateur hour.
Whatever.
Then we just end up at the wrong crew.
We're like, hey, you guys are cool. We don't have to carry around like a sign.
There's not one person with a sign.
Everyone has a blinky ring.
Yeah.
So we end up somehow like steering away from the blinky rings.
I don't know how.
I just had my eye on Sandoval.
I was like, follow Sandoval.
Then we look up.
We took a left.
They took a right. And we're like, wait, where'd everybody else go?
And it's not like Sandoval has any break. He just keeps walking.
And I have these like monster platform shoes on that it was like, after the back and forth of
we're going to downtown stage, we're going to Bacardi stage, we're going to Fremont, we're
going to Huntridge, we're going to country. But I was just like, oh my gosh, I'm going to just pick where we're going to stay for the rest of the night. So they
wanted to see, it was glass animals, I think next. So we're like, okay, well now we're at the
Bacardi stage. Everyone went to Fremont. So now we've got to walk back to downtown. I was like,
I am not leaving. I'm going to stay here. I don't care enough about any other of the bands tonight.
I'm just going to stay right here. Well, we started walking, and then we realized.
Oh, it was Megan Thee Stallion at Bacardi.
So we got there too early, and everyone's like, oh, we're not going there.
We want to see this band first.
And I'm like, I just walked from the downtown stage to the Bacardi stage for this set.
She's in 40 minutes.
Let's just get a drink, have some food, and hang out.
But no, they wanted to go back to downtown.
So after that, I was like, then I'm staying here for the rest of the night and we saw tame impala and we did we stayed there yeah we did not leave the rest of the night we were like the last
ones out it was too much it's i think i think that's like and that's a good thing like when
at festivals you got all this like what is it called like you just stimulate it all overly
stimulation there's just like so many lights and different art and it's awesome and then when when it goes away and people leave like you can sit down here
and it's a little quiet your sensors aren't rocking you can just kind of like take it all in
this may have been the mushrooms talking but it's a really great idea and in the vip area there's
grass everywhere so like you can sit down. We got a lot of tacos.
They had a great setup.
They did.
They had a good setup.
That was your first time there.
Life is beautiful.
You are correct.
So what is your favorite California festival that you've been to so far?
Crossed.
In San Diego.
In San Diego.
Yeah.
Just because it's always been so simple and I have a lot of friends that I go out with
and we can see each other there.
It's simple.
That one's definitely easier to meet up with people.
There's only two, sometimes three stages.
There's one row.
But it's all right there.
And it's beautiful sunsets.
And then to get out.
Right on the water.
To get out.
I remember one year I had like, I hit birds into a bush.
And then we got the bush.
And then one year I drove my motorcycle down and parked it on the waterfront.
And then walked out the festival and hopped on my bike and went home.
That doesn't sound smart.
Well, I wasn't drinking at that point.
Oh, okay.
Keeping it simple.
As soon as when we like, when I have to, when we go out of town, when we go to Vegas and
then we do all of that, it gets really, it gets a lot.
Yeah.
Is there any festivals like in LA?
I've been to one like downtown, I think before.
It's not like a regular one, but I know that they've had one downtown.
And then all the other ones
are kind of like in the outskirts. There's one like
at the Ventura Fairgrounds.
There's like Hard Summer or something like that.
Yeah, that's I think in Pomona. Like closer to
my mom's house. Like at the fairgrounds.
Guys, I'm telling you this right now. I'm bringing a
festival to LA. Yeah, so Brock got
Something simple but I'm going to keep it a secret.
Oh, well I mean you could just claim Something simple, but I'm going to keep it a secret. Oh, well, I mean,
you could just claim it
and then if anyone else tries to do it,
we have this as proof.
Okay, well,
Brock was getting real creative
and came up with this amazing idea.
So stay tuned.
Stay tuned.
Hopefully we might be seeing
some festivals in LA
a little bit more easier,
more accessible,
keeping it simple.
That's the best part about it,
especially the artsy,
like what I love about Life is Beautiful is the people that brought like we went down there
we just started talking to a couple and when we're sitting down we just started talking to people
one of them was just like oh my god i want to buy you guys i'll buy you a drink and at the same time
i was there eating these tacos he brought me a drink i was like oh you don't have to buy us a
drink he's like no it's cool like life's beautiful bro i was like well and then they were asking about
the food and i was like well i've got two tacos i could either a be an absolute pig and eat two more tacos yeah
we already had like eight yeah or b offer them to these guys and at this point these guys are
partying a festival they're relaxed on the sideline they see tacos like oh my god it's so good and
then i go oh would you like them they were just like yeah it was the best feeling for me because
i knew that they truly understood they truly approved it and it was just pretty cool to see
that now there's one thing about festivals that does my head in what's that and it's the biggest for me because I knew that they truly approved it. And it was just pretty cool to see that.
Now, there's one thing about festivals that does my head in.
What's that?
And it's the biggest failure in humanity.
And that's us that we are just absolute slobs.
Oh, my God.
The trash everywhere.
It started off well.
It started off well.
Well, it started off because it was the beginning.
And once people started this like not caring and all that,
or the biggest problem is they can't leave where they are and they're dancing and they have the beginning. It started off. And once people started this like not caring and all that, or the biggest problem is they can't leave where they are
and they're dancing and they have the drinks,
so they just drop them.
They just leave everything on the floor.
So there's got to be a way to solve that problem.
But Life is Beautiful did a really good,
they did a really good job at like cleaning up.
I saw people everywhere cleaning up, recycling and all that.
When they had all the different bins, you know.
They did really well.
It wasn't good
enough yeah so we've got to think of a way for festivals and you can't just do bin placements
because people aren't moving once they're in the festival that's the problem but there's also
no bins in the middle of like anywhere you know so it's like you have the stage you have this huge
grassy lawn area where everyone's watching the show but there's not a single trash can unless you walk all the way out of that go to the back or the vip area like they're all just like
surrounded there's no bins by the stage or in the middle of the grassy area there's probably there's
probably a way to set up like there's probably a reason why they do that because if you have them
in there that would just be more yeah and then people are just going to be around trash during the concert.
So maybe you just have like a trash team.
Like once a set finishes, they all line up at the front of the stage with their trash cans and other trash bags and they walk it.
That's actually a good idea.
Like that in-between time.
It takes a lot of volunteers.
That's all that means.
You're going to give away hundreds of volunteer tickets.
But I don't know.
That's my biggest one because that's what I really like about Life is Beautiful.
It really brought around a different crowd.
We're around a crowd that really were diverse in life, like from everywhere.
Everyone was listening to Ludacris, everything.
So it was very accepting to everybody.
Yeah.
And then on top of it, it was just really nice people walking around.
Like I didn't see any like fights bust out.
I mean, I wasn't really looking for them.
Maybe if you go into the mosh pits.
Yeah. No, the mosh pit I saw, that was during really looking for them. Maybe if you go into the mosh pits. There was, yeah.
No, the mosh pit I saw,
that was during the day.
That was at iHeart.
Exactly.
I was at iHeart
and then some little girl comes out
with her mom asking the police
because someone elbowed her daughter in the face.
What?
Yeah.
And I was like, that's annoying.
I have big shoes for humanity
and we just fail every time
and I really want to figure out
how to be better at that.
Yeah.
Anyway.
So that was night one.
That was night one. Yeah, that was night one. That was night one.
Yeah, that was night one.
That was a success.
And then Saturday, we're like, okay, I guess, you know, we're doing this all over again.
And normally, I mean, we are very much so festival goers.
Three days at a festival sometimes isn't enough for me.
I'm like, I could do a fourth one.
At Coachella, like I could do like day four.
We could do it because we didn't have
other responsibilities exactly so that was the difference other permanent responsibilities yeah
that was what was so different this festival although you know summer was with us at the
hotel like we could literally stare well we weren't we weren't leaving until like six or
seven at night anyway so she was going down two hours later it wasn't like we were abandoning our child for the whole weekend
no she was there all day and then we'd leave for a couple hours you know we went to stadium swim
she napped most of the time we were gone for like two and a half hours yeah so we were with her
the whole time back and forth but that just eats away you when you're out there like having fun
you're like oh i just want to go home and then it just makes makes that invite back home so much better yeah the second day well first we
went to iHeart we did the day stage for a couple hours with my sister and Justice they wanted to
see a few bands so we did that for a little bit and then went back night two for the festival
we didn't eat much on Saturday that was was it. Because we tried to go to lunch that morning, and then they were taking forever.
And I got a sandwich that you brought to go.
Again, like I said, the last solid meal we had was Barry's.
Yeah.
So I was like, wait.
Yeah, that was Saturday.
Did breakfast or lunch with the fam, and then I heart for a couple hours.
I wonder if I'm up on the scale right now, how much weight I just lost from not eating.
So we ate yesterday. Bare wonder if I hop on the scale right now, how much weight I just lost from not eating. So we ate yesterday.
Barely?
No, we ate Saturday night.
Oh, are you seriously going on the scale?
Okay. Now this isn't highly
dialing, but it is four pounds lighter.
266. Wait, really?
Yeah. So you lost weight. Well, yeah, it wasn't
good at all. I'm going to put it back on as soon as I
consume a calorie, but it's fine.
Get back into the routine. anyways we go back for night two of the festival and that was when
like the mom guilt fully set in i was so thankful for ariana's friend carla who also was away from
her daughter and who just could understand, you know, being
away a second night for like the first time.
Because I think like the first night you're like, oh yeah, I can, I can do this.
Like I can do this.
And when you're saying I can do this means I can hang out with my friends while they
party around me and I'm doing a sober.
Yeah.
I'll have a drink or two.
I can, I can keep up with them.
Night two comes around.
It kind of burns out.
That flame was like, oh, I can do this, but do I really want to do this?
No, and then I'm just like staring at the D Hotel while we're like watching the show
and I'm just thinking about her.
And I know she is totally fine.
She's with my mom.
You know, she was getting her bath and everything.
But I'm just like, I felt so bad at this concert.
So then I'm like like, bawling crying.
I don't even know if you, like, noticed.
I was, like, trying to kind of hide it.
But I was at first talking to Jeremy's girlfriend, Rachel,
and then I was talking to Carla, and I was just like,
I just felt so guilty being out a second night.
It was hard for me.
Yeah.
I just might sound like a bad dad then because I knew she was at home,
but I knew she was asleep. No, and I knew she was fine, but it was just.
I also knew that I was getting up the next morning at 6 a.m. to drive a car.
So I didn't have guilty.
I knew that us going out two nights in a row was a lot.
I knew she was asleep.
And would we wake up at 6 a.m. and leave in the next morning to go back to football?
I just knew I had to get up early.
So I wasn't dad shamed, I don't think.
I was like, I gotta get up and make sure before she wakes up anyway.
So I'll be fine.
But yeah, just for me, I was like, oh my God, festivals were so different.
Like, I mean, it was a good warm up though, like for us, like getting back into, you know,
doing these things that we do love doing.
And that's something that's been, what?
I don't know about, I don't know about another one anytime soon.
No, not anytime soon.
But I'm saying like we did crossed about a month
or a month and a half ago in san diego for one night and that was fun it was just one night out
and then life is beautiful we did two nights and it was like i could not do a third but i feel like
by like coachella stagecoach we'll be able to do a third but i say that now we We don't know. Yeah, the second night, that like really set in for me.
And I just, it was very emotional.
Well, I appreciate you, honey, for the weekend.
Joey even said it.
Everyone was giving you raps.
The boys were like, the fact that she can go out and party with all us animals
and do it soberish with only drinking alcohol.
So they were just kind of, they took the hat off to you.
So they partied hard for us.
They were just in GA.
So unfortunately, we couldn't party with them at the same time it was just different sections
different sections we saw green day that night that was just like such a throw we saw ludicrous
and it was like such a throwback for me to like my high school days because this is what i used
to listen to i like the fact i what i really appreciate about ludicrous was that what he did
is in his career he had his own album but he always made appearances on others but those
appearances were like number one hits on everybody else's albums as well so it's a collaboration so
like when he started singing all the songs you're like wait this is ludicrous as well this is
ludicrous and it was just like it was pretty cool it was really really really entertaining. Yeah. It was so much fun. But then after that, I was like, okay, get me a burrito and get me in bed.
So we went back to the hotel.
We left Green Day a little early.
Beat the crowd back.
Yeah.
So as we left, we walked all the way around the crowd and all the crowd needed to go out
this one way.
So our goal was to get right to the end of it.
Yeah.
We got right to the end of it and he stopped playing.
So everyone came behind us. We got out the front really it. We got right to the end of it and he stopped playing. So everyone came behind us.
We got out the front really easy.
We took a ride into a taco shop.
After a festival, day two, no one was in line.
We were the next people in line.
It was amazing.
Got the tacos.
At that point, when we're in the elevator, everyone's still leaving the festival.
They're like, look down.
And we got the tacos.
They're like, whoa, you really?
We did that.
We nailed that exit.
But that elevator, we were on the top
floor of this hotel right so when you get in you're stopping at every other floor on the way
it was never that night was
anyway i think that's it for the weekend that was our life is beautiful weekend and then we had to get up at 6 a.m to drive back to la for the first home
chargers game i was like look i spent way too much money on these season tickets i'm not missing
the first home game if i have to drive back from a festival and go straight to a football game
we're gonna make it happen so summer was an angel that entire drive the best she's ever done well we also left at 6
a.m so she slept so that might be it she slept for like an hour and a half that no more than
she usually does yeah no she was just very good because she normally in the car that's the one
time when she fusses she just doesn't want to be in her car seat so So we got back to LA. Well, we went to my mom's house,
kind of regrouped there,
ate a little bit,
and then went to the Chargers game
with Kristen and my manager, Ryan.
And it was fun.
But by the end of it,
we were just like beat.
Beat.
Back to my mom's.
He took a nap.
I've just been napping since then.
I've just been trying to catch up.
And like tonight, I can't wait. It's what, 7.15 now? Well it's what 7 15 now because then so after that i mean then you know like we got home
gave some of her bath got her you know a bottle back in her bassinet back on her routine but then
had to be up at 5 30 this morning to do daily pop which i love that show It's like a dream job for me to co-host one day.
And we had such a fun press day,
but it was just like-
It was my first press day, guys.
Hopefully you enjoyed it.
Yeah.
Got to chokeslam somebody.
Justin.
But yeah, it was just like,
we had to be up so early to go to Universal
and get COVID tested
and then wait for those results
and then do the show.
And then we had a full day lined up.
So it's been a long weekend,
and now we're podcasting about all of it.
But as soon as we're done with this, I promise, honey,
dinner, bath, bed.
That sounds so good, guys.
Right?
Well, hey, if you see us at a festival, come up and say hello.
I really enjoy saying hello to people at festivals. Yeah, we met so many met so many people and a lot of them like we met you last time we were
here or something which is great so if you ever see us out and about come say good day just don't
ask if i remember because then i feel bad because like i have a bad memory already and we do meet a
lot of people but like this one guy came up he goes remember me he goes last life is beautiful
i'm like bro that was two years ago and i was not sober then. And I was like, yeah, good to see you again. But that's like, oh, that is my biggest pet peeve
is when someone straight up like calls me out. But I'm like, you don't want to do that because
you're going to feel dumb because I don't remember you. I don't remember your name. And I,
I hate when people do that. They're like, do you remember me? Or when they say like,
well, what's my name? I'm like, don don't don't do that to me because now i i
don't know and now i feel bad you feel stupid it's just like i i hate that so just don't ask if i
remember you but please come up and say hi take a photo you can have a fun story of a time when we
met but just like i feel so bad i wish i could remember every encounter with everybody, but I don't have the brain capacity
for that.
You'd be a genius if you did.
Especially back when I used to smoke weed.
I'm like, I don't recall.
But overall, life is beautiful.
Life is beautiful.
That's our message for today.
Yes.
Life is beautiful.
Enjoy it.
Love each other.
Do better.
And I can't believe the show is going be back oh yeah in just a few days today
was today talking to the press like was like oh and now i i understand the feeling of like wait
i have to re-watch this yeah that is gonna be definitely difficult because where are we going
it but i've said it today i said my piece with everything i'm ready for the show obviously
like even today though today was 100% me like today
was so easy to do. I wasn't trying to say something to try and please anybody. Generally, the season
I just was just was us. It was just me and you versus everybody. So but I think that's the best
thing about you. And I think that's what you guys are going to really enjoy seeing next season is
just how you are so unapologetically yourself, Like you are the perfect candidate to be on a reality show
because you just, you're such an open book. You don't hold back. You don't try to paint a perfect
picture. You are just very honest. And even when that was really hard, as you know, you see in the
trailer, people talking about very personal things and about your past and your family.
And you did a fucking phenomenal job, honey.
Thanks, honey.
Yeah.
Definitely.
Obviously, you guys will see through the season.
And I think what I told everyone on Press Today,
I said, look, just know that these are my kids and their life is private.
So when it comes to you guys asking about it,
it will come when we've addressed it on the show.
Yeah, and every time we do the podcast when i ask for questions y'all always ask about brock's other kids like i mean obviously brock has two kids that is not a secret and you will see all of this play
out this season but we've been asked to respect their privacy and we tried our best, but, you know, we are on a reality show, and other people didn't respect that privacy.
So enough and everything, actually, not even enough,
everything will be said and shown this season.
We choose to not talk about that on the podcast or on YouTube because
I don't want to address it multiple times.
It got addressed very clearly.
And, yeah, I stood in front of it.
I said my truths.
And for that, like, as I was trying to do this through this,
navigate my way through the season, it was like,
if anyone's going to tell my story, it's got to be fucking me.
And if I tell it with a fib or if I tell it with a white lie or biased,
then people are going to be like, well, that's a biased opinion.
Like this guy, all I could do was what I did.
And I'm happy with how I handled the season.
Obviously, if I can have a time machine and go back,
everyone will be going back and doing different things in their life.
But you guys will understand that one second pickup line goes back to when
I was 19 years old in a different situation,
in a completely different opportunity.
Everything.
Everything back then, it was different.
Judge, you know, you can't judge someone based on-
No, but like-
Just know that I don't give a fuck if you judge me.
No, no, no.
But I'm saying, like, there wasn't the whole story yet.
So it was hard, you know, when people hear one thing,
like Lala says in the trailer,
and then they just run with it and have all of these
stories and assumptions and it's like just wait stay tuned which is exactly why press day today
and to you guys like you will find out you'll you'll find out more and then hopefully things
do change for me and my family you know yeah for our family so definitely you guys will be along
the journey and if you if you don't like that unfortunately I am I am human and I have made
mistakes and you're here to stay and I'm not fucking going anywhere so if you have an opinion
about that you can buy me a coffee and tell it's in my face yeah that's the one thing too it's like
don't just sit behind your little keyboard on your iphone and you're i've already got that i've
already got it coming through and then it's like look guys good luck with that because i'm unbothered
if anything i'm quite amused by them so i try and I try and write back just for shits and giggles just to poke the bear just because I can you know this is my life and I've
lived it and I'll have to make my decisions through it and everyone else is entitled to
their own decisions to be made yeah but thank you guys life is beautiful it is life is beautiful
