Starting point is 00:01:51 We're gonna own the night. From Vanderpump Rules to Vegas and everywhere in between, it's time to party with Sheena Shea. This is Shenanigans. And now, here's your host, Sheena Shea. We're good as gold. Because we're good as gold. And now, here's your host, Sheena Shea. Alright, so, here we are. I don't know if you heard a little echoing in the background, but that was my mom clearing her throat. We just got back from Las Vegas, moved into my new apartment, and her voice is a little hoarse because we did some, well we didn't do any
Starting point is 00:02:25 clubbing, but we definitely were out late, didn't sleep that much. Didn't sleep much at all. No. No. But her voice tends to be loud and a little obnoxious like mine, so I was like, you know what, maybe it's better that it's a little hoarse today. It's probably a good thing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:40 Yeah. So for those of you who don't know or see my mom's crazy tweets on social media, this is my mother, Erica. She is my best friend in the entire world. I would literally be lost without her. So we thought it would be fun to do a little Mother's Day special as Mother's Day is coming up. By the time you guys are listening to it, it will have just passed, but it's also your
Starting point is 00:03:04 birthday on Sunday. I know. Two for one? I don't know if that's a good thing. I mean, that kind of sucks. Well, you know, I'm not like Sheena and have a birthday month and celebrate over and over. I mean, I don't know if, you know, when I'm 64, if I will either. 64? I'm just kidding.
Starting point is 00:03:21 Kidding. Clarify that. No, we are only 20 years apart. Most people mistake us for sisters although nothing no nothing alike she looks like my little sister who always gives her shit about being a teen mom and she was a teen mom for what all of six days six days six days our birthdays are six days apart she was 19 when she had me but turned 20 right after so um yeah um i wish court was here but she has a job now she's so busy she's working all the time i'm like how are you gonna work for me when you're working full-time so we're um we're trying to work that out but um yeah so
Starting point is 00:03:59 how are you it's been so long since i've seen you i know like oh my gosh yesterday i know so you guys if you follow me on snapchat i don't think i've insta storied anything yet but if you follow me on snapchat you've seen my new apartment in marina del rey which is amazing thanks to my mom who you should actually do interior designing as a career. Never thought about it. I mean, she's really good at it. Even my personal trainer, Seth Browning, came over today and he walked in. He was like, oh, wow, who did you hire to do the interior designing?
Starting point is 00:04:35 I was like, no, that was my mom. He's like, wait, but she did all of this? And I was like, no, literally she did all of it. And it looks amazing. So I will be snapping my new place a lot it is like it's just very serene and peaceful and waking up there instead of at my old apartment here in la has been a very nice change yeah i said you can't wake up there in a bad mood no gorgeous no the first night when i got back from vegas i just got a new couch. And it is so comfortable that as I was watching TV, I didn't even get through a 30-minute sitcom.
Starting point is 00:05:10 I just started watching that splitting up together. I'm obsessed. Oh, my God. It is such a cute show. I have it on my DVR, but I haven't watched it yet. Well, I'm caught up. It's amazing. But I couldn't even get through that episode because my couch was so comfortable.
Starting point is 00:05:22 I pass out. I wake up at 3.40 in the morning. And I'm confused. I look outside. There are like boats and lights. And I was like, for a second, I'm like, wait, where am I? What's happening? But I slept in my bed last night.
Starting point is 00:05:36 Nice. That was nice. I saw the snap with the cats this morning. Yes. They were very, very lazy. Yeah. Cousin Kelly was like, oh, I see they've already adjusted to beach life. They're So thankful.
Starting point is 00:05:45 Chilling, laying out everywhere. But yeah. So I just wanted to say thank you again. It was fun. For decorating my amazing apartment. Shout out to Living Spaces for having everything in one store for me. Almost everything. Well, I mean, we got some stuff online, but it was like the couch, the chairs.
Starting point is 00:06:08 Some of the artwork I found other places, but like the main pieces. Yeah. But it worked all well that we could integrate some of your pieces that you had before, the whitewashed wood and stuff. Yeah, everything. It kind of fell together. It was fun. It kind of blended nicely together.
Starting point is 00:06:24 Oh, my God. So after living in Vegas for five months and doing this show eight times a week, six nights a week, there are so many things that I think are just going to stick with us. If any of you came out to Vegas and saw my show, you'll probably notice some little things that I say on here. Same. show you'll probably notice some little things that I say on here but there's certain things that we can't even say the same without thinking about the show right I mean I can't look at grapes or a banana ever the same either God the banana right so at the end of the show there's like you're saying that some of the tips that you learned blended well with like making juice and it's like
Starting point is 00:07:04 this whole joke scene and there's a well with like making juice and it's like this whole joke scene and there's a part with like a banana and there's the cucumber and then there's grapes and Every single show I'm supposed to spit out the grapes at the end And I'm like, what didn't this be funny a nice little plot twist if I swallowed instead of spit them out It's the show is called sex tips. I am gonna make a joke when you did that I've been at the show every other weekend coming out to visit Sheena and she kind of
Starting point is 00:07:31 threw me for a loop on the last one I've seen it probably 25-30 times and I was not expecting that no and Chester and Chris my two co-stars they were both like gagged Chester had to say this line that is the better option but it was a lot of fun it
Starting point is 00:07:46 doesn't really feel like it's over yet but sadly it is it is it was very bittersweet i mean i had an amazing condo out there i made some amazing new friends and it was just a very very good experience i definitely think i've grown a lot from that. I'm excited to be back and kind of get into the swing of things. I'm working at SUR tonight, tomorrow night. Billy's coming in with me tonight, so that'll be fun. But, yeah, it does feel good to be back and in a new place. Fresh start before all the shenanigans start happening.
Starting point is 00:08:26 Speaking of, we have to play a game. I don't think my mom has ever played Heads Up. I'm not good at these things. That means I'm going to win. Oh no. Per usual. I thought we would skip this part today. No, no, we're not going to skip it.
Starting point is 00:08:42 No, we've got to get into some shenanigans. Oh no. we're not going to skip it. No, we've got to get into some shenanigans. Oh, no. Bear with me. Let's see. Which category? You know, we're just going to go with adult supervision, not the two or three one. Well, it's the most PG out of the three. I'm going to take a line
Starting point is 00:08:58 from your Vegas show and say, but I'm not really good at this. Okay, so here's how you play. I'm going to hold it on my forehead. Right, I've seen it. You're going to explain. I'm going to guess. Okay, so here's how you play. Okay. So I'm going to hold it on my forehead. Right. I've seen it. You're going to explain. I'm going to guess.
Starting point is 00:09:07 Now, if you get it right, you go down and give yourself a point. Okay. If you don't know it or you want to skip it, you swipe it over your head. I'm already confused. Whatever. We'll figure it out. All right. So who's going?
Starting point is 00:09:18 You're going? You're going to explain first. Okay. Here we go. Three, two, one. Where you go out to dance in the evening. Club. Nightclub. She just headlined at
Starting point is 00:09:34 Coachella. Beyonce. Yes. Something like maybe a young teenage boy would have if he was dreaming of you or a sexy girl. A wet dream. Yes. You can't say dream.
Starting point is 00:09:48 Oh, did I say that? Yeah. Sorry. Golfer. Tiger Woods. Yes. Your dad's dream car, year 19, he would love a 69. Mustang.
Starting point is 00:10:02 Corvette. Yes. I don't know what that is or who that is. Base. I blew it. Okay, go. Time's running out. He used to take Katy Perry.
Starting point is 00:10:19 He's British. Russell Brand. Yes. Ooh, it could be a shot it could be a candy I don't know it was a lemon drop oh
Starting point is 00:10:29 sorry yeah not bad not bad who's Dirk Diggler or is that something that I honestly have no idea that is Mark Wahlberg's
Starting point is 00:10:37 character's porn star name from the movie Boogie Nights oh thank you just in case you wanted to know yeah alright well well now I know
Starting point is 00:10:44 trivia now we know thanks Willvia. Now we know. Thanks, Will. Thank you, Will. Okay. It's your turn. It's my turn. Are you ready?
Starting point is 00:10:52 I don't know. Okay. Am I going down if I get it right? Down if you get it right. You don't really have to hold it on your head. You can, yeah. The abbreviation for the state that Brittany's from. K-Y.
Starting point is 00:11:03 Yeah. Go. Joe. No. Yeah. Go. Joe. Yeah. Oh. Skip it. You're not going to guess that.
Starting point is 00:11:10 No. Whatever. When a guy like Chris in the show, he has a big right here. Package? No. It's called like a. I can't. Skip it.
Starting point is 00:11:21 Bulge. Skip it. I'm just giving myself points here. You're naked and you're running through the streets. You're running like... Streaking? Yes. Okay. Courtney wears these all the time.
Starting point is 00:11:33 I used to wear them in junior high. They're back in fashion. Yes. Victoria's Secret, the bra I'm wearing. Also like what? Like a really hot woman can be called. Push up though. No.
Starting point is 00:11:44 They're like tick, tick, tock, boom. No, they're a like tick tick tock. Boom explode It's a you're not supposed to say this word on the plane bomb, yeah, yes Got my Tongue pierce. Yes and times up. Oh, well, that wasn't that bad. Yes, that bad. We'll have to teach you the logistics of this game I get how it works, Sheena. Yeah. So, yeah, you did.
Starting point is 00:12:09 I skipped sex symbol because I didn't really know how to describe that to you. And then you didn't get bulge. Sorry. I was thinking of a lot of other ones I could have said. Yeah. I am your mother. Yes, I know. You know, Mom, wouldn't it be great if all natural non-GMO products cost just $3 a piece?

Starting point is 00:14:02 Good job. All right. So, I know we have some Twitter questions. I'm going to save those for the end. Okay. Let's see. You're making me nervous with that look on your face. No, just where do I begin with social media and you?
Starting point is 00:14:32 and you. My mom is a very big part of my social media life in that she reads everything. She looks at everything. She never misses a beat with any tweet or Instagram post or anything, which at times can be annoying. And at times I'm like, like yeah you say that you put them in their place but i feel like so many people give you so much shit because they're like why can't your daughter stand up for herself and it's like no i can yeah but i also you know i had those couple months where i didn't have instagram on my phone so like i know you and my sister and like my best friend Janet, she was fighting with someone today on Ariana's post. But why is it do you just feel so protective as a mom? Do you want to school people because they're wrong? Like why is it that you feel you always have to put your two cents in?
Starting point is 00:15:16 Well, I mean, sure, as a mom, I'm always going to feel protective. But I true, I mean, you can be the first one to say that I'm not always just hashtag Team Sheena. If I feel you said – No, she was hashtag Team Rob for our entire relationship. If I feel that you've been out of line, whether it be with a cast member or anybody else, I will put you in your place. Everybody probably thinks that I just think everything Sheena does is just the way it should be. And that's not so. In regard to social media, do I like to correct people when they're either being ignorant or if they're incorrect on facts?
Starting point is 00:15:54 Absolutely. She does this in life too, people. Sure. But I've gotten better. I mean, we are at season six. I don't want to fight with people. I don't want to ever put anybody down. And I don't think I do. I. I don't want to ever put anybody down. And I don't think
Starting point is 00:16:05 I do. I think I just try to correct and state facts. I think I said that today on a tweet. Someone said, they're like, oh, you say you don't care about people's opinions, but then you tweet about it and like this and that. And I was like, no, I don't care about the opinion. I care to school someone on their ignorance. Yeah saw that yeah so i'm like no i'm just correcting them i'm not saying oh my god you hurt my feelings this bothers me like i wouldn't be on reality television and in the public eye if i didn't have thick skin i don't cry when i read mean things like i actually even going back to like the beginning of the show yeah i really don't feel like anything i mean the divorce and
Starting point is 00:16:46 the breakup obviously looking at that stuff on social media was difficult and then more recently jax taylor and i had been at odds which if you have seen on twitter we've cleared that all up everything is fine i feel like at the time and i and I did really love that Kristen got up out of her chair and kind of walked over because like they've butted heads so many times. But now he's pretty cool with everyone. Letting him know that he was misdirecting his anger. I appreciated that as well. And I really appreciated that because I'm in the back, you know, touching up my eyelashes per usual. That also like I just I didn't know where to go.
Starting point is 00:17:27 I needed a break. And then they're like, come for a touch-up. I was like, okay. And then Andy's like. I know. I know. But I felt like, you know, Jax went through one of the hardest things I think any person can go through. And I'm one of the closest girlfriends in his life and I guess he
Starting point is 00:17:46 holds me at a higher standard and he said that today on Twitter and for that it's like I felt really bad I just for me I was thinking if I lost someone that close to me as I have numerous times I don't want I don't like talking on the phone as is I don't want my phone blowing up ringing constantly I would like to just have a bunch of messages that I could read when I was ready to read it so for me I felt like I was doing the right thing and I had even asked Ariana I was like did you call him and I'm am I an asshole like should I and she was like I mean my dad died too and she was like I didn't want to answer the phone if anyone called. And she said that she didn't call him. And I mean, and I've been there, unfortunately, too many times.
Starting point is 00:18:31 And I, too, would not want to have picked up my phone. Now, somebody said yesterday I saw on Twitter that, well, clearly he needed that phone call. But how do you know? I mean, do you take a poll of all your friends prior, you know, and say, hey, if you lose somebody close, do you want to text or do you want a phone call? You didn't know. I know you. I know you love Jax. You were respecting what you thought was best.
Starting point is 00:18:55 You didn't want to bother him with a call. I know when this happened, you immediately called me. I sent a text message to his mom immediately. I sent a text message immediately to Jax, which he responded. And he responded to me too. No, exactly. And I think that was the best thing. Yeah. I see. I saw his anger. I understand it. And do I think it was misdirected? Absolutely. And now that months have gone by and he sees that as well. And I appreciate the fact that he was able to acknowledge that today and apologize.
Starting point is 00:19:26 And I know he sent you some really nice messages privately. And I know, you know, he sent a nice message to you for me and I appreciate that. And we love him. Yeah. And that's the thing that too, I felt so bad because it's like, I always say like Jax and I are like brother, sister. So I feel terrible that he felt at the time I wasn't there for him. I have since apologized.
Starting point is 00:19:48 And, I mean, him and I are so good. I was just talking to him about his sister's wedding. Yeah, this weekend. Yeah. So he's going to walk her down the aisle. I know. That's really special. And I told him, I said, if you need a break from anything, if you want to step away, give me a call.
Starting point is 00:20:03 Yeah. You can. And you're that friend, and they know that. And I think what the viewers forget, too, that a lot of this stuff is filmed so many months ahead of time. Yes, the reunion was more recent. But there's so much emotion with all of you. And Jax said yesterday there again on social media that I think the reason you guys work as a group is because you've all been friends for so long. You weren't casted into this together.
Starting point is 00:20:28 And you guys have a lot of emotions. At some point, I think with the exception of Brittany, because Brittany could never have a problem with anybody. No. All of you have had a problem with each other at some point. You guys might not always like each other, but regardless, there's always mad love for each and every one of you all of you would be there for each other no matter what yeah and the thing with our group of dysfunctional we call
Starting point is 00:20:52 ourselves a framily um every single person brings something to the table and a lot of us you know have similar personalities where we are going to butt heads and we're not always going to get along. But at the end of the day, I was saying this when Shep was on the show, how just, you know, each of the girls who are in this group of friends have all been there for me at a different point in the divorce or in the breakup or just in life. And for that, like, I'll always be thankful. We don't all have to be best friends you know but I just feel like now that I am back from Vegas I'm back working full-time because I was you know going back and forth I would pick up as many shifts as I could but it's like now I'm back bitches and I just feel that I want to you know clear the air with a lot of people. And Jax was first on that list.
Starting point is 00:21:45 And him and I are good. And now, next on the list. Stay tuned. But anyway, so as I was saying today, my trainer came over. I have an amazing gym. So nice. It literally, you guys, it's like I'm looking out at the marina there's all these boats it's so gorgeous so like being on a treadmill looking at
Starting point is 00:22:12 something pretty makes me want to just keep running more yeah but for those times when Seth isn't available there is Beachbody on demand nice have you heard about this tell me okay so it's an easy to use streaming service that gives you instant access to a wide variety of super effective workouts you can do from guess where where the comfort of your own home 24 7 this is the company behind p90x insanity 21 day fix t25 brazil butt lift pyro Hop Abs, 3 Week Yoga Retreat, and many more. Starting point is 00:24:54 I need a summer bod. Yeah. Yeah. You look good. Mm-hmm. So I have a question for you. Okay. I have an answer.
Starting point is 00:25:02 I hope. Do you? I hope. I don't know. It depends on the question. I would like to know what is your craziest story or memory if you can remember that far back of the 80s it is like my favorite decade break room 86 is my shit like 80s cover 80s cover band. And I just, I love the 80s. Yeah. So I would like to know some crazy 80s stories.
Starting point is 00:25:29 I don't know if I have any crazy 80s stories. Oh, you do. I mean, come on. We know she does. Yeah. I mean, I. My mom used to get down. Get down.
Starting point is 00:25:37 Oh, yeah. I mean, I graduated in 83, so I was still kind of in high school in the 80s. Because that mattered. Yeah. No, I mean, there was, you know, we used to like to go out and go to some parties and a lot of concerts and, you know, have some fun. Yeah? Did you ever end up backstage at any of those concerts? I ended up backstage at a few.
Starting point is 00:25:55 Who was that singer you have a picture with? Oh, gosh. You're like dressed up. She's like dressed up as like a Playboy bunny. It was like a Halloween party. I'm like, you just wore that for fun. No, that was a Halloween party. And that wasn't like a singer. That was Andy Gibb. Oh. That was just, we were literally. Halloween party. I'm like, you just wore that for fun. No, that was a Halloween party. And that wasn't like a singer.
Starting point is 00:26:06 That was Andy Gibb. That was just, we were literally at a party together. That wasn't like a, he wasn't at an Andy Gibb concert. I could appreciate his music, but. So that's not when I was conceived. It wasn't at the Andy Gibb concert? I don't think you were conceived at a concert. No?
Starting point is 00:26:20 No. Where was it? Oh, stop. Wow, this is. I think it? Oh, stop. Wow. I think it was the 1984 Olympics. Hmm. I think you are correct. Or was it in Vegas?
Starting point is 00:26:32 It was one of those places. Are we sure my dad's my dad? Yeah. No, I don't know. I never took a test. Kidding. Ah, funny. Another thing that I think a lot of people don't know about you is you were quite the model.
Starting point is 00:26:50 Oh, wow. You were a little bit of an actress back in your day. How was I? Yeah. Hmm. I mean, you just, what do you mean, oh, was I? You just sent me all of your modeling photos last week. Look at how hot I am.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Oh, you're so full. I never said that. Don't even think that. how hot I am. Oh, you're so I never said that. Don't even think that. I sent you some pictures as I was spring cleaning and I found some old headshot. Oh, I didn't post on old headshot day like I
Starting point is 00:27:11 saw everybody doing. Wait, there was old headshot day? Yeah, last week. I wouldn't have wanted to post mine. Yeah, probably not. Pre-Botox. No, so yes, I did forward you some pictures but I've never been like, I was a model. So I'm looking at these and one of my guy friends is like looking over my shoulder. Didn't know at first.
Starting point is 00:27:28 I was looking. I was like, damn, who's that? She's hot. I was like, that's my mom. That's funny. Oh, gosh. Yeah. So there was a movie that it took me forever to find on DVD.
Starting point is 00:27:43 The Idol Maker. Uh-huh. Yes. With Peter Gallagher. Peter Gallagher. I think that was one of his first roles back in the day. And they made you dye your hair black. They made me dye my hair black.
Starting point is 00:27:52 Yeah. I don't know why. That was weird. I don't know. But it's like there's this part at the concert and it's like are you just like – I remember you were like doing something weird with your hands. It was like – I was doing what they asked me to do.
Starting point is 00:28:06 Let's say that. Yeah. But it was, that was fun to see. I mean, you know, I've done acting my whole life. So I guess that's, that's where I get it from. It all started with my mom. I got it from my mama. Got it from your mama.
Starting point is 00:28:20 Yeah. Celebrity crush. I know the answer, but everyone else would like to know. Well, there's two. Wait, what? Wait. Celebrity crush? Are you talking about Adam Levine?
Starting point is 00:28:31 Well, duh. Well, yeah, I love Adam. Who's your other one? Well, I'm not going to say it because we've met and you're kind of like his friend now and we did shots at Pump together. Justin Hartley. Stop. Yes.
Starting point is 00:28:44 Yeah. No, I had a little crush on him before he was on This Is Us. Because he was on Soaps. Right. For a while. Yeah, and I always thought he was cute. And then you were friends with his now wife. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:53 And the crush. The four of us went and had drinks at Pump. We did. We did vodka shots. And that was the nastiest shot ever. Because she was not about to say no to Mr. Hartley. Oh, it was bad. And I remember that he grabbed my phone.
Starting point is 00:29:05 He told me about this pilot that he had shot and this little show he was working on. Do you remember that? And he grabbed my phone and he pulled it up on YouTube and showed me the trailer for this new show coming out called This Is Us. And I went, wow, that looks really good. I would have said it even if it didn't. Totally. And we did shots that night.
Starting point is 00:29:21 And that was the last time I saw him. Yeah. But no, Adam's my boy. Well, I'm going to see if Justin and Chris Schell want to come on my podcast. Sweet. Yeah. I'll be your co-host that day. I'm going to make a little note of that right now.
Starting point is 00:29:36 Yeah. Cool. Uh-huh. Would you say This Is Us is your favorite show on television currently? I believe it is. It is so good. If you guys haven't watched the show, binge it and catch up on the first two seasons before the third season comes back. You have to start from the beginning.
Starting point is 00:29:51 Episode one. There are so many plot twists and just like it's a show the way that it is written and the actors are amazing. But the way the show is written, it could literally go on forever. Absolutely. I mean, I think it's at least 10 seasons. It's got to be. Grey's Anatomy is on season 15. Right, yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:13 So I'm like, if they're on for this long, I definitely think that is one that will be around for quite some time. I think so. Yeah. Speaking of shows you like to watch. Okay. I know you are a fan of Botched. Oh, yeah. Of course.
Starting point is 00:30:30 Yeah. Also, fellow Evolution. Shout out to them. Amazing production company we work with. And since you like, you know, Terry Dubrow, I'm sure you're also a fan of Heather Dubrow. Love Heather. You love the Orange County Housewives. Yes, I do.
Starting point is 00:30:46 So also, if you like this show, then step into Heather Dubrow's world every Friday on Podcast One. Heather's talking to some fabulous guests like Queer Eye's Karamo Brown, YouTube's Mamrie Hart, and Gracie Helbig, and so many more. You don't want to miss a second of it. Check out Heather Dubrow's world at Podcast One and Apple Podcasts. Also, remember to rate and review. I love her. Yeah, I do too. She's a sweetheart.
Starting point is 00:31:12 I will say. Okay, so I know I told you this story before. But when we were shooting back in the day, I don't think they do them anymore. The Summer by Bravo promos? I remember. Do they still do those? I don't know. But I do remember when.
Starting point is 00:31:24 I don't think I've seen one in a while. So it was like after season one, I had just knocked out my teeth. It was that whole thing going on. And Jack Stassi and I were all filming it together. They hated me at the time.
Starting point is 00:31:40 And I just felt so meek and uncomfortable and I was just like, I don't know anybody at the time I had never seen a show on Bravo yeah I now watch several but at the time I'm like I don't know who these people are and Heather came up to me and was so sweet that ever since then I have been a fan of hers she just made me feel so comfortable it's like if you want to come hang out in my dressing room we can we can eat lunch together she even just made me feel so comfortable. It was like, if you want to come hang out in my dressing room, we can. We can eat lunch together. She even complimented me on my smile
Starting point is 00:32:08 because I was going through so many of these surgeries at the time and her teeth are freaking perfect. I was talking to her here a few weeks ago. Yeah. Yeah, she's a sweetheart. But yeah, so if you guys haven't checked out her show, you gotta check it out. Check it out.
Starting point is 00:32:23 Now, I want to talk a little bit about my little sister. Okay, what about her? So, if you guys don't follow her on social media, you should. I mean, how many followers is she up to now? Over 50,000. I mean, this girl had like 17k
Starting point is 00:32:42 a few weeks ago. Yeah, more like a couple months ago i would think whatever yeah it's happened really quickly okay i guess it was pre chela yeah so yeah like a month and a half ago but she's now working for erica costell who does i i have to say i'm obsessed with her vlogs they're so funny really funny she really funny. She's good. Yeah, they vlog together. Yeah. So they're going on tour soon.
Starting point is 00:33:14 But when Erica gets back from tour, she will be here at Podcast One with me and my sister. What would you say you're now? Because I know the answer to that. I was going to say who's your favorite daughter? But we already know the answer to that. I don't have a favorite daughter. I love you both the same. No, see, Courtney gets to be dad's fave. Well, that's what you both say.
Starting point is 00:33:35 But I don't have favorites. Because you have to say that. What a lot of people maybe don't realize or don't know is that, obviously, you know this, but you girls are 13 years apart. So Sheena was basically an only child for like 13 years. And then she was going into high school right when I had had Courtney and then, you know, high school's busy and then going into college. I started college when she started kindergarten. Right. Cause what people probably don't know also is that Sheena skipped third grade. So she was a year younger than everybody else. So she was going into high school at 13 and she graduated young.
Starting point is 00:34:05 I was a baby. When I think about it now, you really were. Anytime I have a blonde moment and I'm not even naturally blonde. You were in high school. I was. She was blonde in high school. Lots of bleach. Britney Spears.
Starting point is 00:34:16 Yeah. But anytime I have one of those stupid blonde moments or I don't know geography well, I'm like, oh, they must have taught that in third grade. I skipped it. She didn't go there. Yeah. I missed that one. I feel like Courtney and I are so different. Right.
Starting point is 00:34:33 But what I – you are, but then you're very similar too. But what I was going to say is that because you guys are so far apart, it was like I raised two only children and now – I never had anyone to play with. Yeah. And we ignored me. Oh, stop. I'm kidding.'m kidding you were my world are you kidding I'm joking as was she but now you guys have kind of come together and it's like you're almost like the same age now yeah I know you think she's cool she dresses cool she could be your stylist that's what I've always said
Starting point is 00:34:58 I go to her for my fashion advice I'm like what's cool tell me like I don't know what to do she has this whole plan to like revamp my instagram she was telling me about this morning so i i mean i'm i think i'm good at twitter because i'm i'm good at fighting back with people and answering questions and interacting instagram i just like i don't know what's good to post well that's where she started was within social media and yeah working for james maslow right exactly she worked for him for a couple years and um you know that's her thing yeah so but it's fun now because you guys are like best friends even though you don't get to hang out as much as either one of you would probably like but you say you know you're very very different you are
Starting point is 00:35:38 as i would always say my night and my day yeah Yeah. But you guys, you blend well. Blends. Blends. Yeah. I'm going to go into some Twitter questions now. Uh-oh. I don't know if you've seen these yet. Here we go. Be nice.
Starting point is 00:35:57 I am your mother. Hey, I didn't ask them. I mean, I'm going to ask them, but... Okay. Okay. I really want to know who at sir underscore rules is. You and me both. Who is this person?
Starting point is 00:36:09 I don't know. Can you just, like, DM me and tell me who you are, please? I've wondered for years. They always ask, when is your mom going to invite me to a pool party? Hey, well... Why don't we just invite them so we see who they are? Right. So, this summer? Sure. Absolutely so we see who they are? Right. So this summer?
Starting point is 00:36:26 Sure. Absolutely. Tell us who you are. Give us all your info and maybe we'll have you over. Yeah. So at sir underscore rules on Twitter. Go ahead and DM me your number. And when we plan our annual Sheena pool party taco man barbecue fun, you'll be invited.
Starting point is 00:36:47 Because I don't think they're like a stalker. I think they're a big fan who's always been so supportive. So supportive. So sweet. So I think they should get an invite to the pool party. I have a feeling they don't live in LA though. Well then maybe they're just going to have to fly out for this pool party. We'll see. Our pool parties are worth
Starting point is 00:37:02 flying out for. They're pretty lit. I'll say that. Always pretty lit. Our pool parties are worth flying out for. They're pretty. I'll say that. Yeah. Always pretty lit. This is the 20-year-old sister coming out of my mom. Sorry. Yeah. Like, if I hear my mom say, like, lit or turnt or anything.
Starting point is 00:37:15 I've never used the word turnt. Let's set the record straight. That's a word that, for the first time, just came out of my mouth. I've never used that. One of the things about that show, Splitting up together, I was just saying, so when you start watching it, but Jenna Fisher is just hilarious. I mean, you know the premise of the show, but she has three kids, two teenagers, and then little son, I think his name's Milo, on the show.
Starting point is 00:37:38 And she's just like getting in with all the lingo. And it's just really funny. And I don't even realize if I say things like that. No, but you do say lit. I do say lit. So I'll try to work on that. All right. Sir Rules would also like to know the best advice you've given me when it came to pursuing my career in the limelight.
Starting point is 00:37:58 I don't think I gave you any advice as far as career. I don't think I gave you any advice as far as career. I think just in general in life is always to be nice, be kind, look on the brighter side of things. I don't think anything specifically with your career. But I just – I think I've taught you to be a forgiving person and just try to look at the good in people. And that's, I think, one of my best and worst qualities. I have quite a few of them. One is being too trusting.
Starting point is 00:38:33 I think it's a great and terrible quality of mine. But also the ability to get over things so quickly. That's not a bad thing. No, but it is when it comes to a person. Like when I just want to cut someone off and I'm just like, whatever, done, I'm over you. And then I just move on. That's not the best way to deal with things and I tend to do that with certain people but you too know life is short and you know so many of these things that you guys fight over it's so petty exactly oh my god there's so many bigger problems in this world there are so I think my biggest thing is just to be kind.
Starting point is 00:39:06 Yeah. Yeah. What do you think? Is that kind of what you would think? No, yeah, definitely. Just, you know, I mean, not necessarily forgive and forget, but just to, you know, never hold a grudge. Exactly. And really life is too short for.
Starting point is 00:39:17 Yeah. Just remember who you are, you know, as a person. And I kind of feel like over the last couple of years, not so much this past year, but I felt like there were a couple of years where I kind of lost myself and got really caught up in social media and just doing press events and red carpets. And I think for a certain point, I kind of let some things go to my head. But I'll always keep you grounded. Absolutely. Some things go to my head. But – I'll always keep you – Grounded. Exactly. And I feel like recently, I mean more so in the past like six months, I've never felt more myself. Good.
Starting point is 00:39:59 And, you know, I mean I know you were always hashtag Team Rob. Yeah. But since that breakup, I mean it took a few months of a lot of tears and we were still trying to be friends. And then it was just – it just got to be too hard. I can't – I couldn't stay friends with someone on a regular basis who I was still in love with at the time. And I get that. And you say I'm hashtag team Rob. I was hashtag team Rob and Sheena. Sheena and Rob.
Starting point is 00:40:22 Sheena and Rob. Sorry. No. But a lot of people don't see everything, obviously. I have a relationship with Rob. I have a relationship with his mom, and I always will. I know you guys were chatting on the phone on your drive home from Vegas. Rob called me a couple days ago. Because he blocked you on Instagram. Well, no. He explained. I didn't even know that. I had a follower of mine ask me my thoughts on that and I had no idea. Yeah. And then he called to explain that – he said there were some nasty comments, not so nice about you and or him.
Starting point is 00:40:57 And he wanted to save me from that. And I said, I don't read everything, Rob. And then the next day he refollowed. Yes, she does, but not everything. But I mean, I do have a relationship with him and I understand that you need your distance right now, but I do think that you two need to sit down and talk at some point. I know he loves you. I think I've said everything I need to say.
Starting point is 00:41:20 And that'll be fine for now. But you asked me to stop talking about him with you. And like I said, I know this season, I know how you looked. You did look a little delusional and obsessed. But on the flip side... Maybe I was. Looking back, maybe I was. Well, you did look like that. But I
Starting point is 00:41:38 also knew the other side. I knew the Rob when it was the private time. And I know that Rob loved you. I know that Rob loves you because he's told me this. Yeah. I don't know what the future holds for you guys, but I mean, I'm always going to, you know, be there as a friend for him and to his mom who we talk every day on Snapchat and text.
Starting point is 00:42:00 So that's enough about Rob. Enough about him. Okay. All right. Rose Vincent would like to know, when did your mom realize you were destined for something big and does she wish you would pursue your singing more? Well, to answer the second part first, no. And, you know, some people think Sheena wanted to be this pop star. Sheena did it for fun. It was a hobby.
Starting point is 00:42:26 The songs were cute and fun. As her mom, I know that's not something she never wanted to pursue. You know, so the answer is no, I wouldn't want her to pursue it because for one, I know she doesn't want to do it and that's not where her talent lies. What? Sorry. Oh my God. You don't think I'm the best singer ever? Hashtag tone deaf. What?
Starting point is 00:42:48 Yeah, so no. I'm not tone deaf. I'm just not a good singer. Yeah, well. Is that the same thing? You're a performer. And you've shown that. Yes, I've just performed on the Vegas show.
Starting point is 00:42:58 I was just headlining for four months. Performing. That's what I like to do. I like to be on stage. I like to perform. Right. In any form yeah i forgot the first part of the question when did you realize i was destined for something big i don't
Starting point is 00:43:11 think i ever realized all of a sudden that you were destined for something big not when i was like on the fourth grade stage starring in that play you always i always told you to just go after what you wanted and you always gave it your all. Yeah. You know, we, you remember. But I had to go to college first. I couldn't act straight out of high school. I had to get my degree. Absolutely. I am so thankful I did.
Starting point is 00:43:33 But at the time I was like, I just want to be an actress. I'm 18. I'm getting old. And what I told you is if it's supposed to happen, Sheena, it will. And there were things you did through college and whatnot. Yeah. But I said, no, go to school. And you tried to give me the whole, well, let me take a gap year.
Starting point is 00:43:47 And I said, no, because I don't think you'll go. But you went. You did great in college. Graduated with honors. In broadcast journalism. And hey, that's paid off here at Podcast One. But yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:00 OK. Allie would like to know, has Erica always wanted to be a momager? Or was it just after seeing Keeping Up with the Kardashians? Okay. First of all, I don't want to be a momager. I'm a mom. And I will always have Sheena and my other daughter Courtney's best interest. So if people want to put that as a momager, then so be it.
Starting point is 00:44:20 But, yeah, I'm always going to be her mom and involved in anything she does. I mean, literally, it's like sometimes they be her mom and involved in anything she does. I mean literally it's like sometimes they're like, is your mom like your assistant? Yeah. Because it's – I mean you just do so much for me. I'm like that's just what moms do. Right. I mean – Somebody said today or yesterday on Twitter like, you know, why are you always in your daughter's business?
Starting point is 00:44:40 I'm like, well, first of all, it's my daughter. So it is my business. Yeah. I know it looks like maybe I get a little too involved and they said, well, you're the only mom, you know, from the show that does this, but I'm the only mom that lives here in LA and sees everything and deals with all of this stuff. But also I don't think everyone tells their moms everything like I do. My mom has to put earmuffs on sometimes when I start talking, I'm like, Oh my God. So last night she's like, I don't want to hear it.
Starting point is 00:45:05 I don't want to hear it. And I'm like, but I want to tell you. Yeah. So I'm not trying to hear about last night. No, I'm kidding. Stop. I'm not trying to be a momager. I'm just a mom.
Starting point is 00:45:14 Okay. My words, my ocean would like to know, what was Sheena like as a child? What has been your proudest moment as a mother? Honestly, you were a good kid. You know, you weren't one of those like temper tantrum kids. She was always busy. She played sports. She was the only girl on the all boys little league baseball team. Yeah. Second base. Yeah. Yeah. So Sheena and pitcher. Pitcher, softball pitcher. I didn't pitch when I played baseball. Yeah, but no, so honestly, Sheena was a good kid.
Starting point is 00:45:46 She was smart and, you know, very compliant, kind of like she is for the most part now. But yeah, I never really had issues at all, fortunately. Maria Chella would like to know your favorite memory about me as a child. Wow. I don't know if I have a favorite memory um I don't know how sad should I have like one in particular memory there's so many I mean we did there's so many I just can't think of one um I don't know like I said you were just we were just always together we were always busy like I said played sports she was a cheerleader every weekend we were
Starting point is 00:46:24 if we weren't at a baseball game we were at the football game where Sheena was cheering. And like she said, she did a lot of stage plays. So I can't think of just one in particular moment that was my favorite. One thing that I was saying – I think it was like Ariana and I were talking and she was just saying how she really wished she had more photos with her dad and videos and stuff like that. And it made me think, do we have anything from my childhood? Stop. No, but I'm saying that can be salvaged and put on a DVD. Salvaged?
Starting point is 00:46:57 What are you thinking? Where are they? Are they in storage? Are they just in bins on the side of the house still? We have everything on those old VHS tapes. Do I need to get them transferred over to TNT? Do they just like in bins on the side of the house still? We have everything on those like old VHS tapes. Do I need to get them transferred over to TNT? Do they even make VCRs still? I think so.
Starting point is 00:47:10 And they were like the little tapes that have to go in the big tape? Exactly. Do you know how expensive those probably cost now on like Amazon? I know. We need to do that. But yes, your entire life's on tape, Sheena. Well, I would like to see that because when people are like, what are you doing on stage in Vegas?
Starting point is 00:47:25 I'm like, I've acted my whole life. I was literally a child on stage, elementary school, headlining that shit. And I don't think I recorded over any of your things like poor Courtney. Oh my god, you guys. She recorded over my little sister's baptism. Well, no. The worst part, back in the day,
Starting point is 00:47:41 there weren't TV. It was a Raider game. That is the worst part. Okay, first of all, I don't think I did that. But back back in the day there wasn't dvr so what you did is you put your you know your little tape in and you'd hit record so you could watch something we're charger fans i would have never recorded a raider game but there was one time where we went to go watch courtney's baptism and you see us walking into the church and then it cut to a Raider game. So sorry, Courtney. It did happen. I promise. That was sad.
Starting point is 00:48:08 That's funny. No, sad. Yeah. But no, I have everything of your life. Okay. We're going to have to find that stuff. Yeah. I know where it's at, Sheena.
Starting point is 00:48:18 We need to transfer it. Yes. So you have your Costco card. Right. Let's do it. Okay. I'm choking on my Starbucks. Yes, we'll get that done. Okay. Okay. Thank you for being here. Thanks for having me. Yeah. I mean, you're here every week. You're just, she's usually part of, if you ever hear me, the peanut gallery, peanut gallery.
Starting point is 00:48:38 Yeah. She's the head member, lead member of the peanut gallery. Yes. The other members are rotating in and out, but she's the lead of it. But mom, real quick, before we leave these wonderful listeners, I have to tell you and them something important. Okay. Are you ready for this? Listening. Okay.
Starting point is 00:48:57 Now, I know Courtney just bought a new car. Yes, she did. I don't know if you're looking to upgrade and buy a new car. You know I am. So you're probably familiar with terms like MSRP. Of course. You might even know what it means. Do you?
Starting point is 00:49:11 No? Okay. What is it? I mean, you might know what it stands for, but like, what does it actually mean? Why are you putting me on the spot? No. Okay. Well, whatever.
Starting point is 00:49:21 But the same goes for invoice, list price, dealer price. I mean, it's enough to confuse anybody. Clearly, my mom is confused right now. All you're really looking for is a price that actually means something. Introducing TruePrice from TrueCar. Now you can know exactly what you'll pay for the car you want, including fees and accessories, before you even get to the dealership. TrueCar dealers will show you the TrueP price on cars like the one you want,
Starting point is 00:49:45 all from the comfort of your home. Nice. And how do you know if your true price is a great price, you might ask? Well, that is because True Car shows you what other people have paid for the same car that you want. And your certified dealers know this, so they set their true price competitively so that they can win your business. So, Mother.
Starting point is 00:50:02 Yes. When you are ready to buy a new or used car, visit True Car to enjoy a more confident car buying experience. Some features not available in all states. Nice. I'll do it. Alright, well, this has been fun.
Starting point is 00:50:17 Yes, it has. Thanks for having me. Yes, thanks for being my guest for our Mother's Day special.
