The following podcast is a Dear Media production.
From Vanderpump Rules to motherhood and everywhere in between,
it's time to catch up with Sheena Shea. This is Shenanigans. And now here's your host, Sheena Shea.
You do have a little head.
That's good though.
Better than a big old head.
Small head.
Brock and I can never share hats.
Jax has a big head too though.
We know.
I think mine's like average.
In many, many ways.
In many ways.
Well, if you couldn't tell based on our side convo, my two guests today are two people
I love very much.
Jax Taylor and Miss Brittany Cartwright Couchy.
Hello.
Hey.
Thanks for having us.
We love you.
Thanks for being here, guys.
Beautiful studio.
Yeah.
So I think last time, Brittany, you did one here with me.
Yeah.
I think before, too, but we were in the other studio.
So this is our comfy
couch setup.
A little more cash, but... I like it.
Yeah, so
congrats to you guys on your
podcast. Thank you.
So exciting. I want to
get into all of that. There were so many
questions that people
sent in as well, but
I thought we could maybe just start with a little
fun game. Let's do it. Okay. Based on what Jax is wearing right now, for those of you watching,
says number one guy in the group. This is your merch, right? This is the merch. Yeah. I figure,
you know, I'm the one that came up with this phrase. I might as well. I mean, I know people
on Etsy have gotten a hold of it and that's okay, but I figure, you know what?
I should come out
with the number one guy
in the group.
And it's for whoever
is the number one guy
in your group.
It's not particularly to me.
Yeah, like we sent Ariana one.
Right.
I mean, and I know
there's a lot of viewing parties
right now
and people want,
there's number one people
in their group.
So it's for whoever's
the number one group,
a person in your group.
Totally.
That's what it's for.
I think it's just funny
to make fun of ourselves and like be ahead of the joke and
just be like you know because like rotten hell and kentucky muffin like those were both like very
one was like a very hard situation for me but like i gotta just like laugh it off now you know
yeah because so whatever for sure and i love that you guys can do that. I saw one request that came in and they would like you to tell Sandoval to raw inhale.
Oh, yeah.
Sandoval, raw inhale.
All right.
So this game is called number one guy in the group.
All right.
So I'm going to hold up some photos and you're going to tell me who you think in the photo is the number one guy in the group.
The first one, the current cast of Vanderpump Rules.
James.
Ariana.
Oh, yeah.
I mean, Ariana.
I should have said Ariana.
But I really went literal with that.
And Sink.
Oh, goodness, Justin.
Or Lance.
I mean, he married us.
Yeah.
You know what?
We just talked to Lance the other day, and we're trying to set up our kids group.
So I'm going to have to go with Lance just because we know him personally.
And he married us.
We got history there.
But obviously, Justin's been killing it.
Yeah.
See, and I was team JC back in my day.
I mean, back in the day, I was too.
Yeah.
But when you actually kind of know one of them, it's kind of different.
When one of them was-
I did kind of know him.
Oh, you know what I'm saying?
Oh my gosh, I love it.
Yeah.
Your stories are the best, Dina.
All right, Southern Charm.
Oh.
I mean, Shep is just so good.
Such good TV.
Right.
I would have to say Shep.
Yeah.
Yep.
Is he still on the show?
Is he still doing the show?
Yeah.
They just finished filming a new season.
Yeah, so it should be airing pretty soon, I i've never seen an episode of southern charm but i mean i
know the people you know i honestly haven't either really yeah because i know the people
and they specifically told me don't watch or you'll hate me i get confused between summer
house and southern charm i get the cast confused well i think they kind of flipped a little bit
they also came together for winter house and now one of the Summerhouse girls is dating the Southern Charm guy, and so now they
cross over on each other's shows, and it's just like, when I was single dating guys on other
Bravo shows, there was no crossover. They were not about that whatsoever. Oh, yeah. Now they're like,
get on every show. Oh my gosh, it was hard for you to get, remember Bachelor Robbie? Yes,
and I was like, i know he was on the
bachelorette but yeah this is someone i'm dating yeah yeah and then bachelor in paradise and it's
all the same shit yeah but that's just funny because i know how hard that was even to get
somebody from the bachelor on you know i know and now it's like let's do crossovers for everything
like it's kind of fun though how we all know each other i love it and that's the thing it's like
people from other bravo shows you, would really be at my wedding.
I would really be at their wedding.
We just got invited to Carl and Lindsay's wedding.
And I'm like, we're really friends.
So I feel like people like to see that crossover, which we're going to get into as well because I got a lot of questions for you guys about just that.
All right.
Do you guys remember this movie, The Outsiders?
I do not.
You're too young for this.
And I never saw it.
I'm sorry.
It is my time, but I didn't see it.
All right.
Lakers.
Oh, Anthony Davis.
He's a Kentucky All-Star.
I mean, you got to give it to LeBron.
I mean, LeBron's awesome.
I mean, just because I think there's rumors right now that he may retire. Uh-huh. I you gotta give it to LeBron. I mean, LeBron's awesome, but Anthony Davis is... I mean, just because I think there's rumors right now that he may retire.
Uh-huh.
I gotta give it to LeBron.
Okay.
I mean, he's...
I'm all about the unibrow.
Backstreet Boys.
Oh, oh goodness.
Well, since we know one of them, we should probably...
Well, man, I always liked Brian growing up.
Really?
Said no one ever that I heard about.
I always thought he was the hottest.
I love that.
Brian getting some love.
And we met.
We met them all because we went backstage at Vegas.
Oh, yeah.
That's right.
I fell.
Okay, we left like a couple minutes early and everybody was still sitting day on.
And I was walking upstage and I fell on my hands and knees.
Rolled your ankle.
In front of everybody. Rolled my ankle.
The people from the hotel had to come to my room and
check my foot and everything. Oh my
gosh. It was so embarrassing.
Wow. It was so embarrassing. The night
I was backstage with them, so was Shania
Twain. Oh, that's
awesome. It was pretty cool.
She's my fave. Jax? I have
to go with the
blonde one.
No,
he's bad right now,
right?
Nick Carter?
Nick,
right?
He's got all these bad things happening.
I understand that,
but when we met him,
we met his wife
and they were very nice.
This was also three years ago
and we had a really good
rapport at that time.
I don't know them
personally,
but when we did meet him,
I got to go.
I know,
but once you heard all the things,
you can't pick them.
I picked Kevin personally.
I didn't know he did all that stuff.
I don't remember that stuff. Yeah, that's true. You you didn't know i just met his wife and i met him we
met him and we went backstage and i thought they were nice people at the time you know see that's
the thing too when you watch like other reality shows or you meet them like there was someone
who ariana was just hanging out with at up front and she's like oh my god she was lovely and
everyone's like oh no do you not watch that show But it's like when you just meet people in person,
you don't necessarily know.
I don't know what their backstory is.
You haven't heard all the bad stuff.
No, I don't read into any of that
because it's like, you know,
you got to take things with a grain of salt
because obviously we're in that world.
So I just take them for face value, you know?
I get that.
Okay.
Jonas Brothers.
I mean, Nick, right? I don't know. I used to, I was always. Okay. Jonas Brothers. I mean, Nick, right?
I don't know.
I used to, I was always Team Joe.
How were they on set since you were the pizza girl?
So they were really young.
They also had their purity rings at the time.
Oh my gosh.
I was 23.
What's a purity ring?
Like where you pledge.
Yeah.
To not have sex.
Until you get married.
Yeah.
So Nick, I I think was 16
when I did that show
I was like 23
playing 16
oh my god
you look so young
but it was
awkward
because there was
like a part where
he needed to hold my hand
and pull me into the room
and he was like
and I'm like
I know when like
you're a kid
but it's not like
there was anything
past that
but he was just so sweet
and innocent
and I was like honey it's okay you just gotta anything past that. Yeah, yeah. But he was just so sweet and innocent. I was like, honey, it's okay.
You just got to pull my hand to pull me into the other room.
Not Sheena teaching the Jonas Brothers what to do on set.
That's awesome.
No, it's so funny.
But no, Nick, Joe, Kevin.
To me, they all look the same.
I mean, they are brothers.
They look very, very similar.
They're brothers.
The only thing that I don't, it's not my generation, not my type of music,
but I did watch one of the Bravo things
that they all talked about.
Watch What Happens Live?
Watch What Happens Live.
That was really funny.
And Kevin watches the show.
Oh, that's cool.
They all seem like really nice guys, though.
Yeah, they did some funny backstage things, too,
where they're using our voices
and they did a fun TikTok.
It was really good.
Oh, that's awesome.
I didn't even know that.
And I DM'd Andy. I was like,
if you haven't already filmed with the Jonas
Brothers, because I didn't know if it was a pre-tape or not,
I said, you have to ask them about the pizza girl.
And he's like, oh, we did. Did they
remember? Yeah. Oh, that's awesome. And then Kevin
was like, wait, we were just saying like,
wait, is Sheena the pizza girl?
Full circle.
Yes, that's so perfect. Do you guys watch
Jersey Housewives? Nowives no okay then i'm
gonna skip that one because you're not gonna know sorry all right andy or anderson andy andy
although i've met anderson many times he's awesome guy too totally we gotta go with andy yeah all
right godfather you can't answer yourself. Okay. Last one.
Number one guide of the baby group.
Oh, man. Well, we got to pick our son.
No, it's not picking the baby.
There you go.
Okay.
Cruz can get the number one guide.
I like that answer.
He's a guy.
He's a baby.
Yeah.
Come on.
Perfect.
I'd pick Cruz because I love all y'all.
Yay.
Thanks for playing, guys.
Yay.
That was fun.
Yay.
Yay. All right. Before we get Yay. That was good. Yay.
All right.
Before we get into all of these questions, we're just going to take a quick little minute and regroup.
It's Factor Fridays here on Shenanigans yet again because this is what is keeping me fueled,
fed, energized, and happy.
And out of having to go to the grocery store so often, the cooking,
cleaning, prepping, chopping, all of that, I have been too busy for lately. I have been
across the country twice in the last two weeks. And I just don't always have time to figure out
food for myself and Brock, as well as Summer Moon. Summer Moon obviously comes first, but Brock and I have
been having these factor smoothies in the morning, factor meals for lunch, for dinner. There's so many
different ones, so many flavors. This legit, y'all, if you have not tried them, you need to.
They show up delivered straight to your door. You literally just poke a few holes in it. You chuck it in the
microwave for two minutes and lunch, dinner, breakfast, whatever you want is served. So easy,
just like that. If you want to budget this month and you know you want to cut back on takeout,
I would recommend getting Factor instead because not only is Factor cheaper than takeout,
but like I said, meals are ready in
just two minutes, which is quicker than any restaurant delivery. With Factor, you can also
rest assured you're making a sustainable choice. So I love that they offset 100% of their delivery
emissions to your door. They source 100% renewable electricity for their production sites and offices and feature
sustainably sourced seafood in all of their meals. Right now, y'all can head to factormeals.com
slash team Ariana 50 and use code team Ariana 50 to get 50% off your first box. That's code

So Brock and I recently got a new fun thing in the mail for summer. It's from KiwiCo. First of all,
the name got me because my husband is from New Zealand. He's a Kiwi. But then when I found out more about how amazing this company is, I was like,
you know what? We got to tell it to everyone. So KiwiCo believes that every kid is naturally
creative and curious and that hands-on experiences build creative confidence and
problem-solving skills that ultimately can change the world.
So I love that this company has some seriously fun learning for kids of all ages. It's like
Summer Moon's only two. She is not too young for these things. So we got a koala one for Summer,
and it's so cute. It has literally this like rainbow pillow that we're going to make
together with her and Kiwi Koala rainbows. It could not have been more perfect for us. I love
to be able to do fun activities with my daughter. Brock is definitely more of the crafty creative
one. But with KiwiCo, it makes it so easy for people like me
to deliver some seriously fun hands-on projects. KiwiCo delivers seriously fun hands-on projects
that inspire a lifelong love for learning. They have projects that spark creative confidence for
ongoing tinkering and experimentation. And it's like, you know, sure, you can buy a robot,
but with KiwiCo, I mean, why not build your own? Wouldn't that be like way more fun?
I mean, basically, it's just a box of like, whoa, awesome, delivered monthly. It's going to be your
kids' favorite day out of the month when they're getting their new KiwiCo. You can give them the tools to learn new skills, build new experiences, and make new connections to
the broader world. Redefine learning with play, explore hands-on projects,
and build creative confidence with KiwiCo. You can get 50% off your first month,
plus free shipping on any crate line at KiwiCo.com slash shay that's a 50% off your first
month at kiwico.com slash shay okay so we have a lot to discuss so much that I didn't even make
notes for this show I screenshot a bunch of questions that the fans and listeners sent in.
And I figure we're just going to go in because the three of us can definitely.
Oh, yeah.
Keep the conversation going with everything that's been going on.
All right.
I have to ask initial thoughts when the scandal broke.
Where were you?
What was the first thing you said?
Who's the first person you called? Like, walk me through when you scandal broke. Where were you? What was the first thing you said? Who's the first person you called?
Walk me through when you found out.
Jax came into the living room.
I was playing with Cruz in our living room,
and he said that Jason, our friend Janet's husband,
Jason, had called him and told him about it.
So that's how we found out.
And then I texted you and Lala in a group chat.
That was the first thing I did.
So he texted me.
He goes, it was a very vague text.
I woke up this morning.
I usually text Jason right in the morning
because we live right down the street.
And he's like, oh, do you want to play golf?
And I thought it was about playing golf.
And I looked at it and it said, you were right all along.
And I was like, you're right all along.
What are you talking about?
You're like, I mean, of course I was.
But about which part?
I was like, well, this is always great to hear
when you first wake up in the morning.
I'm like, OK.
So I'm like, what are you talking about?
Oh, he's like, because he assumed I read it
because it was everywhere. Yeah, we hadn't even looked at our Instagrams yet. I haven't even looked at my phone in the morning i'm like okay so i'm like i mean what are you talking about oh he's like because he assumed i read it because it was everywhere
yeah we haven't even looked at our instagrams i haven't even looked at my phone in the morning
yet so i looked at it i'm like oh my god yeah like that's and then i told britney right away
and then i texted you guys and you guys both just responded all caps yes yes and i was like then i
said how's ariana that was my next question and i texted her like a couple hours later i didn't
want to like flood her in with i'm sure she was already getting flooded with messages and stuff as it is
so I just texted her later on and was like I'm so sorry you deserve better that kind of thing
yeah but I was just shocked because I wasn't he wasn't but I was well I think you were shocked
that it was Raquel though because like we never saw that by any means yeah i'm i'm i gotta say i'm just not this
has been going on for years i've called this many i know but we didn't know it would be raquel i
think that's the big deal right yeah i i mean always i even said this in my conversation to
sandoval i said about miami girl i said always thought that was true by the way i'm like look
jax i've known for a very long time i know when Jax is embellishing in a story.
I know when Jax is adding some details to make it a little more entertaining.
None of that bothers me.
This conversation, I remember so vividly when Jax came back.
We all went to this event.
I don't know if you remember.
It was like a fashion show downtown.
It was like me, you, Stassi, and Kristen.
And the way you told us that story about Miami girl, I was like, he's not lying. I I knew every detail I'm the one that brought her up to the room she was in the room next to me
I mean I that's crazy it is what it but it's crazy to find out now that she admits that she
knew it too I had a feeling which bothers me a little bit if and this is nothing not a a slam
against either of them really but if it didn't matter if it didn't if it was okay it was
justifiable why lie about it though then why can't you just come clean about it that's and i'm not
this isn't against tom or well i mean it's against tom but not ariana exactly it's like maybe she
wanted to keep it that way that's fine but if why was he denying it so much if it wasn't a big deal
i think because they had an agreement and she didn't want people seeing him as the guy who cheated on Kristen and then already cheated on her.
But then calling, she couldn't, I wish she would have said, I wish this would have happened if she would have pulled me aside and say, Jax, I know the truth, but can you just let this die?
I don't think anyone would trust you enough.
No offense to say that to you without you repeating it, being like, well, Ariana told me she knows the truth.
It made Jax look like a liar.
It just made me look like a liar. And it's like, and it's like this, this the truth. It made Jax look like a liar. It just made me look like a liar.
And it's like, this sucks.
I always had Jax's back on that.
You know, she came to California.
She came here and like,
it's just very rare that you see a girl.
That is insane.
She had Kristen Doty behind it though,
just cheering her on like, yes girl, you get out here.
You confront him.
Oh my gosh.
But I do understand if they were like brand new,
like were they even in an actual relationship yet? No think that's early that's not true either because they
were on the phone when we were in miami it was we were in our hotel he was on the phone with her the
whole time he just started dating her literally a week it was a week and a half in i know i know
it's like it was the back i know exactly every minute of that trip i know but you just said a
week and a half in like that's my point my point. That's what she was saying.
They were still kind of like brand new at the time. Okay, let me ask you this.
Okay, roles reversed.
If you and I were a week and a half in and I hooked up with somebody,
what would you think?
Like, how would you go about that?
Would I say, well, we were only a week?
Okay, so what's the justifiable time?
After a month, a week and a half?
I mean, it's never right.
I don't think.
Okay, so you got to look at it from both sides.
Yeah.
I think. I do. I mean, it's never right. I don't think. So you got to look at it from both sides. Yeah. I think.
I do.
I mean,
maybe if she would have
noticed it then,
none of this would have
happened to her, you know?
That's why I was trying
to convince her back then.
I'm like,
he's such a good liar.
He's like,
there have been so many scenes
that I get tagged in
from season three
or whenever that was
that I'm like,
oh my God.
A lot better than me.
That's for sure.
I was spot on with this.
And now looking back and like watching some of the episodes here,
grabbing her ass behind car.
I was like,
nobody saw that.
How did the producers not say,
did you see that?
Like,
how come they didn't chime in and be like,
you know,
the producers probably were starting to get a little wind of something.
By then.
I think so.
And if you think about it,
like they get to be at every single part.
Like they're not only seeing what we're talking about they're seeing what you're talking about they're seeing what
Raquel's talking about they get they get the behind the scenes of everybody so they're they're
able to put things together way easier than like you would because you're not getting to see what
other people are talking about and doing unless you're at the same place yeah you know what I
mean like so no so when they know Lala and Katie are having these feelings yeah they maybe notice
them it's like maybe there is something to this.
Exactly.
But you guys didn't know that was going on yet.
No, I heard very little.
That was like my whole summer.
And the reason why Katie and I just never even had a conversation,
it was like, we didn't film together.
We weren't around each other in the same setting so much.
And I'm just getting all of my information from Raquel.
Yeah, exactly.
So it's like, it was so different.
But yeah, when you're behind the camera, you're getting what Raquel's telling me what I'm telling Ariana
what Katie well it's just like they also have earpieces in and they can know what's going on
when somebody else is filming so there's three cameras going on the camera they can voice over
to the other camera guy the other camera can talk to what's going on so there's three scenes three
scenes being filmed that day they're all in cahoots they all know what's going on you're not
on the phone more than we do exactly it on. You're not on the phone.
They know more than we do.
I know.
It's not like she's on the phone
texting the other people
that are filming.
Yeah.
They all can.
We did that after.
Do you guys miss it?
Sometimes.
Sometimes, for sure.
What do you miss the most about it?
I think it was just weird.
Like, you guys would go out and stuff
and I couldn't be there.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
I think it was more that kind of stuff. I'm glad, like and I couldn't be there. Yeah. You know what I mean? I think it was more of that kind of stuff.
I'm glad like I don't have to be judged by like all the drama and stuff that can happen
on the show.
But I don't know.
It was such a big part of our lives for so long that it was like kind of weird in the
beginning, you know, especially in the beginning.
But then Cruz kind of like took our mind off of everything as well.
Yeah, that's yeah.
Yeah. And I think it all I think everything as well. Yeah, that's yeah. Yeah.
And I think it all I think everything happened for the right reasons.
I do.
Yeah, I think it was.
Yeah, I think especially since I said Cruz, we could focus on Cruz and everything like
that.
Timing and everything.
Timing.
You know, timing is everything.
Don't make that anything season nine.
I'll tell you that.
But the timing and I think like honestly for our marriage, taking that break was good for
us because I don't know if you remember how bad Jax was getting at the end.
He wouldn't even go to the beach days and stuff.
No, I know.
He was acting like a little baby.
No offense, I love you.
But he's definitely admitted many times that he's taken a lot of things for granted,
and he'll look back on that, and he's grown from that too.
I think that's the main thing.
Yeah, going forward, if there's ever future projects, I'll definitely look at it a different you know view now for sure totally
yeah even Brock after season nine and him just being thrown in you know center of attention and
drama to season 10 taking a step back it's like that was better for our relationship better for
both of our mental health and moving forward I I think he's like, I like being the supportive partner.
Like it was fun coming, you know, straight out of a pandemic.
We have a baby.
Yeah.
They're giving him call time, call time.
Like everyone wants Brock around.
And he was like, oh, great.
You know, to feel wanted.
Yeah.
But then it was just he realized so much negativity.
And then it's like when Brock is fighting with the women, that, as we know, never goes over well.
But it's like he's trying to have my back.
And so it was a really tough season.
Also, postpartum, going through all of that.
I'm home for three days from the hospital.
I can only imagine.
So y'all having that break at that time was probably the best thing.
Oh, it was needed.
And I feel for you guys doing
that right after having the baby because I like I just can't even imagine that I had a postpartum
depression. I struggle with my weight so much. Like, I'm just so glad I didn't have to do that
on camera and be judged by everybody. So I definitely feel for you. I do think, though,
that your story and like part of mine, but you especially was so relatable to so many people and that's
why I love that you always kept such a big social presence and you've talked about all that you're
the face of fucking Jenny Craig and like that was so you know those are so many things that
are relatable yeah I had to film with Lala who looks like a supermodel five days after birth
literally was in a literally was in a tube top uh like what 10 days after the baby I can't even walk hardly still 10 days
I was so thankful that the day we started filming I was bleeding enough to only need a pad not a
full diaper gosh that was the worst that's the worst time people don't talk about that enough
how like painful and weird postpartum is yeah it's crazy's crazy. But it's all worth it. It is. Yes, we have the most amazing
kids and I love
that our kids are so close in age.
They're going to grow up together
no matter where we all
end up settling down for school
and life and all of that. We always are
going to have our friendship with our kids who share
birthdays at the same time. Heck yes.
I love it. Definitely a busy couple months.
I know. Once April starts rolling around
we're like, whoa. Birthday, birthday, birthday.
And Coachella and stagecoach
mama is busy.
I swear, I called her
the champion driver the other day.
I was like, you are a champion driver. I don't know how
you do it. I don't know how you do it either. Like if I
do one thing one night, like we were supposed
to have you guys over for a pool day. I know.
And me and Jack's family have a date night because we barely get to have those right and
we were just done the next day especially this guy he could not even like move yeah i can't i
can't do back-to-backs like one i go out once a week that's enough for me i can't do i'm also a
lot older than you guys that's true i like i need to preserve my energy you know yeah that's true
it is i i definitely give you a lot of credit you know? Yeah, that's true. It is.
I definitely give you a lot of credit.
You know, just watching your stories makes me tired.
Like literally like the festivals and this and that.
I don't know how you do it.
I'd be like, I couldn't do this.
I know.
You've always been like that.
Yeah, you've been always like, yeah, yeah.
And that's the thing.
I'm like, okay, even though I'm having a baby,
it's not going to stop me from still living my life.
And that's why I like to put it out there too,
that like working moms can still have it all.
You know, you can have that life and have your family,
but you can still have fun.
Exactly.
And you have like very people,
like loving people in your life who you trust.
Your family is actually here.
That's a huge difference too.
Totally.
It's your daughter's grandmother, you know?
Like I wish I had my mom here all the time to help me,
you know?
So I just think that's awesome.
Yeah. Speaking of moms, a lot of questions came in for you, Jax.
I don't know if you're comfortable talking about it, but people had said that they really resonated with you talking about, you know, your dad's health.
And after he passed away and just putting that out there.
And obviously it was well known that your relationship with your mom had a falling
out are you comfortable giving an update on where you guys are now i i yeah i've talked about it on
my podcast i reached out after speaking to your mom actually uh okay i spoke to her a couple months
ago how that came about well i was doing a project and i came home from the project early after when
you came to the hospital that's a whole subject, but we can get into that later.
But the thing was, is you were at my house with your mother and you guys are about to leave and you had something to tell me.
Like, hey, your mother reached out and this and that.
And I was going through a lot with it because you were in the hospital at the time and then that got thrown at me.
And I was like, you know what?
I need to digest this a little bit.
But then thinking about it a little bit, I decided to reach out to her.
I did text her a few times. We've been kind of going back little bit, I decided to reach out to her. I did text her
a few times. We've been kind of going back and forth. I'm keeping it only about Cruz. I haven't
dove into anything about us. It's not about me anymore. Like I'm, it's water under the bridge
with me. It's about Cruz. And I just felt like I've been going back and forth and talking to
Brittany about it. Like, how do I want to go about this? And what do I want to do? And is this the
right thing for me to do? And I just thought for my son, it was the right thing to do to reach out to her.
I just would kick myself if something happened to her and he got older and said, you know,
did you try, you know, did you give it, put an effort in, you know, I know you guys didn't have
a great relationship, but for me, did you try? And if I didn't do anything, I probably would
have been, I know I would be so upset.
So yeah, it's very slow process right now.
Yeah, like it's not like they're talking like on the phone or anything. It's kind of like sending photos of crews.
That's all it is.
That's all it is.
And it was a process.
It was, I had to call my sister.
I had to call my godmother.
I had to call family members just to let them know that I was going to do this because I
don't say my family made a pact to not talk to my mother anymore, but we kind of all became
into an agreement, especially, especially my sister. We kind of were together on this when
this happened. So I need to say, hey, listen, I'm in a different place now with my son. If it was
just you and I, then I would just keep going on with life and let it go. But the fact that I do have a son now, and this is her grandson,
I feel like I need to at least update her on his life, some pictures just to show her. I don't want
her to have to go off the internet and find things. I know she talks to people and her friends. And
I know deep down inside, she probably feels a little better that she has some actual recent
pictures of what's going on now that she can show people.
That's as far as I've gotten, though.
And she replies, I'm a little shocked about her replies right now because they're very
short and they're very, I didn't expect that.
I honestly expected a little bit more of a, I miss you kind of thing.
But again, I don't know where she is and where she stands.
I've only gone off of what your mom has told me and I'm doing the best I can.
I have made my effort and I have posted the pictures and that's where we are right now.
She did send a cool present for Cruz's birthday.
I heard about it.
Yeah.
She sent Ron, his dad, Ron, one of his like zipper sweatshirts that he wore all the time.
She made it into a pillow and it said like something like,
every time you hold this near, you know that I am here or something like that.
And it said love.
Yeah, she did.
She did.
My dad did have a huge wardrobe.
So my mom pretty much everything in my dad's wardrobe,
she made into some kind of blanket or quilt or pillow or whatever.
Yeah, and sent it to Cruz.
A teddy bear out of his like red wings.
Jersey.
My dad was a huge fan of like free shirts.
Like when you sign up for a credit card,
like that's,
he didn't buy clothes.
He wore whatever he got free from the grocery store from the,
whatever that was just his thing.
So all the swag he got.
So that's,
we have a lot of just stuff memorabilia from that.
And,
and she has been sending him so vaguely for the last year, we were getting books books and a toy and a toy every month but we didn't
know where it was coming from which you know in our like work and what we do we get stuff sent to
us all the time yeah and it just didn't have a note it didn't have anything there's no return
address we kept thinking it was from his mom of of course, but we never knew. There was nothing on there.
It just said book club.
So we had no idea.
Come to find out, she had written Nana really small on the very back cover of every book.
And I didn't even notice that.
We never noticed that.
Wow.
Yeah.
So she has been sending things since before they even talked.
So that was really sweet to find out.
Because I was like, in my mind, how close I am with my mom.
Yeah.
And how much my mom loves
Cruz like it's always like I couldn't imagine not trying to be a part of his life yeah I did
I did although now that I'm thinking about this I did get a little drunk one night and I did text
her oh lord I did I I did like I was taking pictures of my house because I mind you I
haven't seen my mother or talked to her about this in five years and i was just like i was had a little i had a couple drinks you know
and i was getting a little ballsy on the on the texting so i decided to take a couple pictures
of my house in my backyard in my my child's room and i was like i hope you guys are proud i hope
dad is proud i'm like because i haven't seen you guys last time i saw my mom was in my crappy
apartment in koreatown so i've come a long way since that so i was just like i hope you guys last time i saw my mom was in my crappy apartment in koreatown so i've come a long way
since that so i was just like i hope you guys are proud and then she kind of responded back
a little something but that's as much as it's gotten did she never come visit when we lived
in our apartments even no oh no but anyway so that's as far as it's gotten but it's progress
it's progress well good and you're never gonna regret you know no i don't have any regrets now
it's a weight off my shoulders and i can can actually answer my son now, honestly, and say, you know what?
I've done everything I could possibly do.
And, you know, when he's old enough, you know, God willing, my mother's still around.
Then he can make the decision to go visit her if he wants or whatever.
Yeah, definitely. I love that.
Yeah.
I also love seeing you guys back on TV.
We had Watch What Happens Live.
That was fun. We had your Watch With Us on Peacock.
A lot of people want to know, are there going to be
more of those? I mean,
we got such good feedback and
everybody loved it. We were so
blessed with everybody's comments
and stuff, but we were only contracted to do three
episodes. I think it was a budgetary thing
with them. But I'm also like, why did they
not start us till the actual scandal happened? that's what i would have thought and i think
that's what people were really looking forward to was hearing especially jacks you know going in on
all that but at least we got to do like your wedding and stuff like that was so pretty and
oh we were just glad to be part of it it was cool just to be back into that world again and it was
fun just to walk downstairs and go to work and and you know like i said on the couch like this basically right you know perfect and it was like
i said watch what happens live was a lot of fun too so i'm not gonna lie i got a little emotional
backstage behind watch what happens live because like that used to be such a big part of our life
for so long and it was just kind of like taking me back and a lot of people were saying i was
only one bunch but to have watch what happens live because of what happened. Now, this is a story that people don't know.
I was asked to watch what happens live before the scandal balls came out.
I was, but then once it broke, Andy called me and said, you know what?
I don't think it's, you don't want to be on the first episode after this broke out.
I go, no, you're right.
I go, please God.
He's like, no, no, we're going to, we're going to have you on.
We're going to wait another week.
We're going to have Lisa on.
And I was like, thank God.
Because once that came out, it literally came out what the night before, the two days before,
I can't remember that I was going to do it.
And then I was like, God, I'm coming back.
And I was so excited.
But then the first episode back, it was the Scandival.
I was like, no, no, no, no.
This is not where I want to come back to.
I want to ease into it, you know, ease my way into it and have fun with it.
Not just get right into this.
So it worked out great.
It was a lot of fun. we had such a blast and it's glad to be, you know,
somewhat back, I guess you can say. Yeah. Yeah. So I know there's been a lot of talk and I don't
know how much I can ask or how much you can say, but we're just going to go with it. Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules. Is there a world where you would see all of us on screen together?
I mean, I think if it fits right with like our family and everything that we have going on,
like I think it would be cool to have like summer and cruise together, like stuff like that.
You know, I think it just depends on timing.
I mean, we're not opposed to it by any means.
I think we've had our break and we feel a lot more comfortable.
Like, you know, even around your wedding, we were like terrified.
I know.
Terrified.
And let's, I'm going to make this very clear.
People were like, oh, they just want to, we were asked to film for your wedding.
We were asked and we specifically said, absolutely not.
We are making this, this is Sheena's wedding.
We are not going to try to get in involved in this.
This is her thing.
We're just happy to be there.
And yeah, the production called us and our manager called us. What can we do to get you to film? And
we're like, you know what? Let's just- It just didn't feel right.
It just didn't feel right for us. I didn't want to start that. We were there just to be in Mexico
and enjoy your wedding. And we wanted to leave it at that. So that's, I wanted to clear that up
because people were asking about that. And I was like, how come you were then this and that? I'm
just like, we just didn't want to make it about that but like she said since the break taking a couple year break if we were asked and it made sense
and i'm just really treading lightly with the kids that's because just having kids on reality
it's just they didn't sign up for this they didn't they're not part of this world they didn't sign up
to be on instagram but we post them yeah right. So we have to just tread lightly
if we get back into that world.
And it has to be on terms,
like you said, parenting
and make it more about the parenting
and less about the-
Partying.
The partying.
And I think there's a world where-
But we do both.
Yeah, we do both.
We're still fun.
I think it is,
but I think just like the stuff,
like what's going on right now,
this is what scares me.
The scan of all stuff,
that kind of stuff,
being around that kind of thing. I know me, I would never go down that road
again, ever, ever, ever. That was a thing, but I see what's going on right now. And I just,
it's toxic. It's a very toxic, toxic thing right now that's going on. And it's take,
even though you're not in it, like directly involved in Lala's not in times it affects
everybody. It's affecting everybody emotionally, mentally, physically.
It's a big thing. It's the biggest thing on TV right now.
So we just have to vary. If we do it, it's just gotta be, you know what,
what's the word I'm looking for? It's just gotta make sense.
I don't mean to drag it on, but it's gotta make sense.
Do you know what I'm saying?
Yes, I do know what you're saying. And I also,
and don't answer this if it makes sense do you know what I'm saying yes I do know what you're saying and I also and don't answer this if it makes you uncomfortable but you just mentioned I would never go down
that road again and I just want to know as a couple who has dealt with infidelity so publicly
but then still got married has a baby and everything together what advice would you
have for people going through the same thing and how did you get through it I mean it's hard it's really hard it took Jax it took us a very long time to
get back on track and I think that we're doing a lot better obviously I wouldn't have married him
and we have Cruz and that's made our relationship so much stronger becoming parents I swear like
it's made it so much stronger but I think like you just have to trust your heart because I knew I just loved him so much like I always knew that we were like meant to be together
but he really had to work and like prove that he was going to change for me to be able to take him
back and even whenever I did take him back I still didn't forgive him right away like it took a long
time for me to get over it I mean I thought about it all the time it can be very very difficult it
just it's hard to give advice about it because every single relationship is different.
You know what I mean?
But he definitely had to work.
I worked my ass off.
I didn't show any of that on Vanderpump.
I worked and worked and tried.
And like I said, the differences between what me and Sandoval was going through,
this was a full-on affair.
This was like he was in love.
There's no going back from that.
What I did was, I'm not justifying it by any means, was an absolute mistake.
And it was, like I said, it could have been a hole in the wall at that time.
And it didn't matter to me.
I didn't care.
I hated myself.
I hated who I was.
I was miserable.
I was depressed.
And thank God, thank God she was there to be like, pick me up from all that.
Considering everything that would happen.
Yeah.
So basically, I feel like what you were saying, J jacks is that like you would go back on filming you just
don't want to like do anything to embarrass crews is that what you're like meaning i i don't want
to embarrass my son at all and and not just with stuff like that with just with anything i don't
want to embarrass my kid you know i completely got that if i'm at a party drunk or something not
not even with the like infidelity and all, it's just other things in life.
I don't want to embarrass them.
We live in a crazy world right now
where things don't die once they're aired.
So I just don't want to be at a party or something.
All your other episodes aren't going to go away either.
We've got eight seasons of embarrassment.
I want to put something out there that's entertaining
and want people to watch,
but I also want to enjoy it.
I want to have fun.
I don't want to be the boring guy
that sits in the corner and be like, okay.
Jax, you could never be the boring guy who sits in the corner and be like, okay. Jax, you could never be
the boring guy
who sits in the corner.
I hate to break it to you.
I know.
I think he's like putting
a little bit too much
sugar coating on it.
No, I just,
I get a little.
at the end of the day.
Yeah.
I just, you're right.
You're right.
I know what you mean, honey.
And I just, I've come such a far,
and I got to say to you, Sheena,
I have been the best place
in my life
that I've ever been
in my entire life.
My entire life.
That means the whole show for anything, because I just feel like that break was so essential for me.
We needed it.
And it's like, I'm just we have a great family right now.
Life is really good.
I think that's why it would be OK if we came back, because we did.
We were able to have that break.
I just don't want to look back and like think about things.
Yeah.
I just don't want things to change the way they are right now.
No, I get that.
Yeah.
Like, is it going to be worse on our relationship if we come back?
Like, those are the things we have to think about.
It could be worse.
It could be better.
It could be the same.
It's like you just never know because you're put in situations that you don't know until
you're in them.
Yeah.
Like, you could show up for a filming thing and it's going to be a fun girl's night all
of a sudden.
It's like.
And I want it to be organic, Like how we first started the show.
This inserting new people crap.
I'm not going to be part of that.
I'm not going to be forced to be friends with somebody or hang out with somebody, go to
a club with somebody that I normally don't see.
I'm not doing that.
Definitely got back to the basics though.
Like it wasn't like adding a bunch of people this season.
Like it was like season eight.
Like when we were are married, whenever we got married that season, I feel like there
was so many new people added that it didn didn't make sense other than your wedding yeah
the worst it was yeah it was like it's too much ali makes sense ali makes sense because that's
james's girlfriend and by the way so i don't mean to talk over you she's she's really good
love her really really good you know what she sticks up for herself she does she has a backbone
yeah she does and she doesn't not afraid to to tell James how she feels. I like her.
She's a nice girl.
Yeah, I'm excited.
They're going to be on shenanigans in a few weeks.
I'm going to talk to her about all of her astrology stuff that she does.
Oh, I didn't even know she did all that.
No, she does readings.
She's really good at it.
Oh, wow.
That's cool.
Maybe I should have her do mine one time.
Yeah, she'll do your whole chart and all of that.
I think I showed on the Peacock show how I talked about how she came over
and, like, organized my closets
with Home On Point.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But I don't know if they cut out
the part where I was like,
but I really appreciated
that she told me first thing
at Sheena's wedding.
And, like, I was, like,
saying that that was
a good thing for her.
I don't know if they put
that part in there
or if they just left it out.
She did my closets.
But I, like, all together,
I was saying that
it really meant a lot to me
that she told me from the get-go and I didn't, like, find out, like, a year down the road. Yeah, you're like, this girl was in my closets. But I like all together, I was saying that it really meant a lot to me that she told me from the go and I didn't like find out like a year down the road. Yeah, you're like,
this girl was in my house and then met me and acted like she didn't know me. Yeah, like that
would have been weird. Yeah. So I just thought that was good that she just came out and said
it from the get go instead of just being like, yeah, down the road that she was all up in
Cruz's room. No, totally. I told her the other day, I said, you have been the best addition to
this group. Truly like her energy, everything about her. I just, I really love that's awesome.
And James is so anti-podcast, but Allie was like, well, I want to do it. I was like,
then I'll just have Allie on. He's like, well, no, I'll do it with her. I'm like, oh,
okay. There you go. I love it. Um, so did you guys watch the Randall scandal?
So did you guys watch the Randall scandal?
Yes. On who?
Last night.
Yes.
Yeah.
We watched it last night and that was.
Wow.
Wow.
That was so crazy.
And like.
To be honest, that's just the tip of the iceberg.
I know.
There's so much more.
Right.
There's so much more.
And I just think maybe they'll do like an episode two down the road.
There's got to be an episode two because they barely broke into the sum of the shit that
he's done.
He's a terrible, terrible human being. Terrible. We hate him.
Terrible. I know.
We tried to stay quiet for
so long. Even though we were
so mad at him for what he did to Lala
and we were obviously on Lala's side. Of course.
But we were terrified of him because he
owed us so much money. Well, Jax, I wasn't really
involved in all that. But we were terrified
that he was just not going to pay our money.
He's just so crazy. You never know what he's going to do you never know i was scared i was petrified
yeah you know we weren't we didn't hang out with him or see him or anything after the whole like
la la randall split but jack's had to like kind of be cordial with him for a little while because
he wanted his money back i felt so bad because lala would come over with her mom all the time
and just tell me what's going on she'd be crying crying and I'd be like, you know, fuck, I wish I can just cut ties with this guy, but he owes me $75,000.
Still, he's paid me $25,000. Randall has not paid you back yet. No, he paid one. Let me explain.
So he's owed me a hundred K. I did a loan with him, not an investment, a loan. There's a huge
difference between an investment and a loan. An investment is you put your money in, you might not get back, whatever. This was a loan. It was
called a bridge loan, not a bridge investment, a bridge loan, which I wonder how many of these
with how many other people he's done. And he's, he's living his fake lifestyle off of other
people's money. So basically I'm giving him money to help with his film in return. I get like 125,000
back. Okay. So, and i did it three films before that with
him got my money back this happened right before covid okay so the movie never happened okay fine
i'll take my money back then oh it's going into this now and it's going into this and i can't
call you and oh and the new girlfriend's car and everything else oh come and get the check and oh
i'm not really there and oh i'm gonna going to send over somebody. No one ever came.
Then the check came.
No, the wrong date.
The signature wasn't right.
This bank account doesn't exist anymore.
All this crap.
I go, are you serious?
I go, it's one thing to do
to a studio, Paramount.
They can afford it.
I'm a family guy.
I'm putting food on the table.
I'm not buying Rolls Royces.
I'm not taking private jets
going to Miami.
I'm not doing any of this.
I'm putting food on the table.
I'm trying to pay for my kids' college education one day. I'm trying to support my family,
you know, because we needed to work and this was some supplement income. So, and it died right
before COVID. Now I understand COVID hurt a lot of businesses. That's fine. But the movie never
happened. Therefore the check should still have been there. Right. Okay. So that's the problem I
have with this. Yeah. That's the huge problem. And for you to not to pay back a family man,
a guy that's the only person that stood up for you. I was the only person in your corner. I was
going against you. I was going against Lala, people that are my friends, them coming over to my house,
crying over what you were doing with them. And I'm like going outside. I remember I had to go
outside and call him. I'm like, I need this money. I need to, I gotta get this money. And then I got to cut him off. But I was like, I couldn't, I can't afford
to lose. I can't walk away. I'm not, I can't walk away from $75,000. I can't. And I'm like,
now he's ghosting my lawyer. I was not talking to my lawyer.
Yeah, Jax blocked him on everything. Like we don't, we're not even, Jax doesn't even talk
to him anymore, even about the money. There's no communication whatsoever.
And so after watching that last night, I was actually going to message 50 Cent.
I'm like,
how do you think I should go about this?
Just to make a joke.
See if you would see it.
Money by Monday.
Money by money.
I mean, I'm knowing Garth's
obviously nowhere near 50 Cent,
but maybe if I throw that out there,
maybe he can be like,
hey, you got any opinions or suggestions?
If he ever saw it,
that would be cool.
If he ever saw that,
it would just be cool
because I don't know where to go from here.
I don't know where to go.
We thought whenever we went public with it, that would embarrass him because he's all about his image.
You would think.
And he's so vain and stuff.
So we thought he would like, okay, I'm going to go ahead and write it like he did with 50 Cent.
But nope.
Wow.
Yeah, I don't know.
And I'm not the only one he owes.
I'm sure I'm very low on the totem pole when it comes to owing people.
So I don't know.
I don't know what's going to happen with that. I'm going to keep drilling them and keep going hard.
How is he still working? How does he afford his house? Right? I'm so confused. How does anybody
want to work with this man? I know he's like borrowed against his home. He's borrowed against
his car. He's done this. He's done that. He's got so many different stories. Talk about a guy who has
50 million different lies going on. How do you keep up with that? I mean, maybe after this Randall scandal came out,
maybe people will wake up and he's not going to book any more gigs.
I don't know.
It's only been 24 hours.
We can only hope.
That's what I want.
You're just a terrible, terrible human being.
You really, really are.
And you had me fooled.
You really did.
And I was like, all of us fooled.
Jackson Randall were like best friends.
Yeah, I was really close with him. They got really close. And people say, oh, you were just using it for the Jets. I was like, all of us. Jackson Randall were like best friends. Yeah. I was really close with them.
They got really close.
And people say,
oh,
you were just using it for the jets.
I was,
no,
he invited me to go on his stuff.
I paid for dinners when we went out to dinners.
I bought,
I was the only one to buy him Christmas presents.
I got him really nice things like shoes and pictures for his office and stuff like that.
I did my part.
I wasn't there for the free ride.
No,
you guys were actual good friends.
Yeah.
Like you really were.
And we all know, like,
Randall had a good personality.
We never thought...
Oh, I had so much fun with him.
We never thought
this side of him
was a real thing.
No.
Until Lola found out.
And to this level,
it wasn't just,
you cheated once.
No.
It wasn't just,
you didn't pay back money once.
No.
This is so deep
and sick and twisted
and on another level
that we could have
never even found out.
And I think about
how many times we were with him on like vacations and stuff and he was
getting his little massages.
And I'm like, was he in the next room getting happy endings while we were there?
Probably.
Like disgusting.
It was a little hairy.
I can't wait for Lala to never have to deal. The fact that she has to weekly drop off her daughter
to not even just him, to a nanny.
Yeah, and it's somebody she absolutely hates.
I couldn't even imagine that.
It breaks my heart every week for her,
just watching her be upset
and going through this constantly.
I could not even imagine
having to give over your baby to somebody
that you absolutely hate,
everything terrible that he's done.
His other daughters, too.
His other daughters, too, have to deal with this for the rest of their lives.
I know.
Terrible.
And Amber knew, but Lala wasn't listening for a long time because she was fooled just like the rest of us were.
100%.
So now they're teaming up.
We're ready to get them.
I know.
I loved it.
She came to our Shopify event.
We had lunch with her.
I've hung out with her a few times now.
And I was always a fan of her from All My Children.
That used to be like my dream job.
I didn't know that.
When she was like 16.
Oh, cool.
I knew she was on You, obviously.
I loved that.
And I remember like I didn't want to tell Lala that I watched You.
I was like, I'm not going to tell her that I'm watching this, but I love it.
Yeah.
No, totally.
Okay. not gonna tell her that I'm watching this but I love it yeah no totally okay before we get into any more questions we're just gonna take one more quick little break so I can talk to my listeners
about stir I don't know if you guys know what stir is but one of my best friends newly single
single mom she is ready to get back out there and date. And I told her
that I heard about this app called Stir, which is the new dating app built just for single
parents. Like how nice would that be to know that everyone on the dating app is a single parent,
just like you. I mean, dating as a single parent, it doesn't mean that you're
necessarily looking for a new co-parent. Most single parents are just looking to have fun,
meet new people without any pressure or judgment. And I know from one of my girlfriends who is a
single mom that going out on dates, it's hard when you know you have to have that conversation
of telling the person you're on a date with that you have a kid. But with the stir app,
that takes all of that away because you know, everyone's in the same boat. Did you know that
more than half of all single parents had an amazing makeout session in the past year? Because
I mean, I like a good makeout session, whether you're in a relationship or not, a good makeout session in the past year. Because I mean, I like a good makeout session, whether you're in
a relationship or not, a good makeout session is always needed. Brock and I do our one minute kiss.
We try to every day. But like, that sounds incredible. You know, also single parents rank
higher on emotional maturity and the ability to have a work life balance. So I would say if I was a single parent, I would also want to date a single
parent because you kind of just get it. Stir is a place where being a single parent is your
strength. It's a place where you can relax, be yourself, not just a parent and a snack supplier.
It's a place where you don't have to apologize for having a hectic schedule. I mean, your kids
go to bed at eight. You don't have to.
Stir is the app designed for parents who just happen to be single. Go to stir.com slash podcast
today and get 25% off any Stir subscription package or send your single friends to try it out. That's 25% off at stir.com slash podcast. A lot of people were asking about,
obviously, Sandvall, but I've got a few questions for Jax. All right. One is,
what was truly your last straw with the worm with the mustache. And how do you feel now that everything you've ever said about him was true?
I don't know if I want to get back into the last straw.
That's fine.
The last straw, I regret.
And I was forced into this.
I regret having him at my wedding.
That was my follow-up question.
Yeah, it was going to be.
Do you regret putting him back in?
The only reason, the only reason.
Just because of me.
No, I'm going to tell you.
Let me explain the reason.
The only reason. I'm sorry, I don't mean to cut'm gonna tell you, let me explain the reason. The only reason,
sorry, I don't mean to cut you off, but you know when I have
something in my head, I have to get it out. I'll be quiet.
The only reason I allowed him
to have, was, allowed him to be my
wedding was because of Ariana. If I didn't have
him, then Ariana wouldn't go, and Ariana
was obviously part of the wedding. I do
remember that. So I have, so. She was saying she wasn't
gonna come. By default, I had to
do that, and I had to look into that. But alright,
100% hand to God, I would have never
had him at the wedding. And not only that, I kind of
made you a little bit
because of that.
But also because I thought you and
Sandoval would become friends again,
close friends again. And you guys had known
each other longer than anybody in the group. And I
thought you would have regretted it a couple
years down the road when really was the other way around like he's just went down even
further now but i didn't think that was gonna happen so you know and then like i said the last
time i saw him was uh labor day memorial weekend uh is it memorial or labor day we keep getting
confused never we saw labor day oh my can't believe he was on the show
and everything
and me and Jax were like.
I was talking to him
when he's like,
I'm looking,
I go, what are you looking at?
He's like,
oh, you know,
Ariana's grandmother was sick
or, you know.
She had just passed away.
Passed away.
Yeah, and he's like,
you know,
I gotta get home.
He like nonchalantly
brought it up too.
Just nonchalantly
but didn't even care.
Like his drummer was already gone.
Like he was gone
and he was like,
oh, I knew he left.
He didn't want to leave.
No, he didn't. He did not want to leave. His mistress was there. Yeah. And the lies about saying that he
couldn't get an Uber is so not true. It was a holiday weekend. Every Uber driver in the world
was working that day. You know what I'm saying? It's especially in Orange County. They're
everywhere. You know, they're everywhere. And a drive from Orange County back to L.A., that's a
couple hundred dollar trip. Right. What Uber driver wouldn't jump on that?
Yeah.
Also, why would you let your friend leave to then pay that money for an Uber?
Exactly.
When your girlfriend's grandmother just died.
I know.
So.
So I didn't know anything about that at the time.
And then Raquel had come up to me later that day.
And she was like, oh, did you hear Ariana's grandma passed away?
And I was like, wait, what?
When?
Like, did this happen?
Like, yeah. Oh, you didn't even When? Like, did this happen like yesterday?
Oh, you didn't even know?
No, I didn't know.
Raquel told me.
And I was like, wait, when did this happen?
Was this yesterday?
Like, I don't talk to Ariana every minute of every day.
So I didn't know how long it had been since this happened.
But then I was like, maybe it's been a few days because like Sandoval's still here.
So it must not have just happened.
And then watching everything back.
I mean, shout out to the vlog and also thank you to everyone who has subscribed i hit a hundred thousand
subscribers congratulations but yeah when i saw the and i was like oh my gosh then i'm thinking
back to all of my other vlogs and i'm like how many other easter eggs are there yeah because
there have been so many times that we're all together and Ariana wasn't there
because it wasn't weird.
She was doing something else.
She was working.
She was this.
She was that.
And I think Sandoval always, like, kind of, like, grouped himself together with a certain
friend.
Like, I've seen him do that, like, over the years with, like, different people.
And he's, like, always with that person.
So I always just thought it was, like, Raquel at the moment, which I thought was kind of weird,
but I didn't think anything of it really.
Well, yeah.
And it's like, if Ariana didn't think anything of it,
then no, I mean, the only people who did were Katie and Lala.
Yeah.
Because at the time she was like, you know,
I think he's just kind of going through a midlife crisis
and people like Raquel and Israel
and the other Schwartz and Sandys,
people keep him young.
They go out all the time with them.
Like she doesn't want to go out all the time.
So it was like nothing weird.
I know.
But he never, ever, ever stays home.
Never.
And I've known the guy for years, years and years.
He cannot sit at home and be like,
hey, let's watch a movie tonight.
Never.
No.
And especially not watch Love Island.
And that was sad whenever Ariana was talking to him about that.
I was like, oh, because we all knew what had happened at that point.
But she was saying, you just spend some time with me.
Right.
That's not that hard.
When did they ever go on a date?
Like an actual date?
Very rarely.
Unless it was filmed or something, probably.
Yeah.
Because he probably didn't take the time out to do it.
There's no excuses.
You don't have kids.
Yeah.
Okay?
You got tons of disposable income.
There's no reason you two shouldn't be going on vacations, going out to dinner.
Like they used to.
Yeah, because he wouldn't.
Yeah.
And really, it's because he was.
And I'm telling you right now, Raquel is not the first and not the last.
I'll tell you that.
So I got to ask you, what are your thoughts now about Billy Lee?
Do you think they hooked up back in the day?
A hundred percent back in the day.
I think it's still going on.
Yeah.
And I like,
she's leaving the house early in the morning.
She hasn't been around forever.
Now all of a sudden she's back.
Yeah.
I don't want to dive too much into her,
but she's,
I might,
whatever.
So in that last conversation I had with him and I go,
Oh,
so you're going to tell me this is the first time you cheated on her.
And he's like,
well,
no, I mean, there was one more. And then I'm like we know her and he's like well no so when Kristen watched that scene yeah she goes there's two there's at
least two because in his head he's thinking like well no you don't oh well there is the one that
you do know but then the one you don't and so I was like no I think there's two I think one is
Billy 100% and I think the other one is probably
the ex lead singer from his band
who was just gone all of a sudden we're like
what happened yeah I'm not gonna say
her name but it was like I didn't even know
I don't know nothing about that where did
she go yeah that's a theory
there's like
20 people in there but I can only imagine if he was like
doing this so obviously like with
Raquel like not obvious
because we didn't know
but meaning like
that somebody
that's like right there
in front of everybody's faces
then of course
every time he goes
and like did an appearance
or he's doing
his little band show
I'm sure there was
some more than just two.
Yeah.
Like now that
if he's able to do that
nothing
nothing destroys
a relationship
worse than a bar
and a band.
Tell me what
tell me what relationship tell me what relationship would last somebody who owns a bar and a band.
Tell me one.
I don't know.
Yeah.
It'd be hard.
I don't know either.
And now there's this new chick from Austin that there's things everywhere that he's dating
this girl in Austin now, some influencer.
I have not seen that yet.
Wait, is he not dating Raquel?
Apparently Raquel is still in the facility.
You mean the hotel, the Marriott?
No, I think she actually moved
to a... She is somewhere different now.
From what I've heard, she's somewhere different now.
And good, I want her to get help. She needs it.
Yeah, like obviously she needs it because
you could just tell by watching it.
She was smiling so creepily
when she was talking about in her confessional or her
interview bite, you know, where she was like grinning and smiling the whole time.
I was like sobbing about pageants and then grinning about sleeping with someone she really
loved.
Yeah.
And like just the smile was just so creepy to me.
So creepy.
So she definitely needs there's got to be some kind of help.
Yeah.
So no, I do hope she is getting the help she needs.
I don't want anything bad to happen to either of them.
Of course not.
I don't want any.
Now with Sandoval just losing his best friend,
Ali,
I can't imagine what this is doing to him,
spiraling even more.
And Ali was great.
We knew Ali too.
And that's just so heartbreaking.
That came as such a shock.
Yeah.
When you told me,
I was like,
I just can't believe that. Let me ask you this. Did you reach out to him after that? I did. And that's just so heartbreaking. That came as such a shock. Yeah, when you told me, I was like, I just can't believe that.
Let me ask you this.
Did you reach out to him after that?
I did.
You did.
And we were going back and forth with it.
I decided not to.
I don't want to.
I reached out to Ariana, though, because I know she knew him.
Yeah, so Ariana's one thing.
I just, no, I didn't.
But I'm glad you did.
Is he all right?
He didn't respond to me.
The second one didn't even deliver, which that I was like, I don't think.
Like he turned his phone off or something?
Like he turned his phone off, but then this was a few days ago,
and I checked today, and it still never delivered.
Yeah.
But I've kept in touch with Kyle Chan just checking in
because I don't want anyone to harm themselves.
Right, right.
And this has.
You were checking in with him on, with Schwartz.
Like you were asking Schwartz if he was okay.
Yeah, I mean, I just, because now we're getting to the point where somebody can hurt themselves.
It's too much.
It's getting to the point, like, trust me, I don't think I could go through the hell that he's going through right now.
I've gone through a lot of hell on that show, a lot.
Nothing like this.
This is on another level.
This is on another level.
Yeah, like it went worldwide.
It's crazy.
But now you're putting his high school best friend on top of that situation.
And the fact that his family is not all on board with him either right now.
Honestly, if it were me, I don't know where I would be right now.
I'd be in a dark, dark hole.
Yeah.
A dark hole.
So that being said, I'm glad you reached out.
I'm not in a place where I would reach out.
Yeah, and that's fine.
And I don't even expect him to respond.
I just can't believe that. I cannot believe that he has not responded to you. I don't think so. And I don't even expect him to respond. I just can't believe that.
I cannot believe that he has not responded to you.
See this to me,
you would think he would because there's nobody in his corner right now.
The fact that you're reaching out is kind of like a little bit of an olive
branch thinking in my head,
if I were him,
Oh,
this is maybe a way I can come back.
Like this is where I would think maybe I can,
Oh,
she's reaching out to me.
Maybe I can, okay, say hi. This is why I'm going on. I'm going through this. Maybe this would be a way back can come back like this is where I would think maybe I can oh she's reaching out to me maybe I can okay say hi this is why I'm going I'm going through this maybe this would be a way back
yeah that's a terrible way to think it's not gonna be way back in no but I know but do you see what
I'm thinking do you see what I'm saying like that's an olive branch that's extending an olive
branch it's whether however you look at it that is extending an olive branch I do know out of
everyone and I know everyone who has reached out to him, I'm not going to say on here because that's not my place to put out there,
but out of everyone who has reached out to him, he has not responded to any of us.
Oh, he hasn't responded to anybody.
So he could just be having his phone off right now.
Yeah.
I mean, it is a lot that he's going through, but I mean.
You know what?
You could say thank you.
You could say thank you.
Yeah.
Come on. I don't even know the place that he's in. through but I mean you know what you could say thank you you could say thank you yeah come on
I I don't even know the place that he's in I just knew that I I don't feel like a human if I don't
reach out and send at least my condolences I agree I was gonna try to send flowers to the family
yeah you know I know he was buried right away send them something so if you guys want to get
in yeah yeah we would love that because we were thinking about sending flowers and stuff as well
yeah it just all happened so quick with his religion he had to be buried within 24 hours If you guys want to get in on that. Yeah. We're planning something for him. We would love that because we were thinking about sending flowers and stuff as well. Yeah.
It just all happened so quick.
Yeah. And with his religion, he had to be buried within 24 hours.
So it's like we didn't even have time to process that we just lost someone we've been friends
with for over a decade.
And then it's like, wait, the funeral's today and now we can't even go.
Yeah.
It's just like.
I was literally talking to him every week.
Every week.
Yeah, same.
I talked to him on Tuesday.
That was the last time I talked to him.
And he was reaching out quite a bit.
But, you know, I didn't think really anything of it.
I just didn't.
Yeah.
I don't know. It's sad. I just didn't. Yeah.
I don't know.
It's sad.
It's just one thing after another.
I know.
It really is.
It's been a lot.
But I want to bring it back to you guys before we wrap up.
Okay. Tell me about your podcast.
What have been your favorite aspects of doing it?
What's next for the podcast?
What's next for Jackson, Brittany and a baby number two?
Oh, yeah.
So starting with the podcast, When Reality Hits with Jackson, Brittany and Sheena is
going to be on our episode next week.
So we're doing a podcast swap.
So that's going to be a lot of fun.
I think it's been good for us because we've been able to go back in time and like look
at some of the stuff and like talk about it and be very open.
And people get to know more of us as a couple and more about like our day to day lives and stuff and not just what's put on a show.
So I think that's been like really fun for us.
It's almost like therapy sometimes.
It really is.
I get to clarify.
I get to clarify a lot of things because obviously people are asking, OK, back season five and season four.
Now I can finally.
OK, let me clarify a lot of this up. And let's be honest, I do a lot of things because obviously people are asking, okay, back season five and season four. Now I can finally, okay, let me clarify a lot of this up. And let's be honest,
I do a lot of stupid shit. So it's nice to have a podcast and going forward, if we are going to do extra projects, whatever. Now I have a podcast that I can clear it up every week. Okay. When
you saw this, this is actually what was really going on. So I like that.
Well, the stuff that you're allowed to say.
What I'm allowed to say.
With restrictions.
Yeah. But you know, it's been fun. It's Well, the stuff I'm allowed to say. With restrictions. Yeah.
But, you know, it's been fun.
It is like therapy, and it's fun to dive back into some older episodes.
But, yeah, we've had a good time with it so far.
I love that.
Yeah.
And it's fun hearing other people and what they have to say and where they stand with all this.
And, yeah, it's fun to get a fresh view from it all.
Like I said, that two-year break.
Yeah, I like answering questions from, like, like ride in and stuff that we they like we can go through there and pick things that
like oh we want to clear this up and talk about it and the fans have the best questions yeah i
see when i try to think of questions thousands sent in for you guys and my show is prepped for
me it's great because they think of the ones that i'm like i would have never thought of that or i
would have thought you know i'm like that's great question. So you kind of let them run it almost, you know?
So it's, it's been fun.
It's been a lot of fun.
And definitely, we definitely want more kids.
We've been very open about that.
We, we are going to start trying after the summer.
Actually.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The plan was to get through the summer.
I want to party a little bit more.
She wants to have a little fun.
You know, we want to, we want to, you know, do the projects that we have working on and then we'll get started probably, I don't know,
end of August ish, somewhere like that. Yeah. So yeah, somewhere in there. So fingers crossed
somewhere in there. Yeah. I don't want them to be too far apart. I want to have them somewhat
close. My sister and I are four years and that was too far. That was too many. Yeah. That's what
I'm going for. I think I'll maybe mentally be ready with the four year gap.
It's a lot because I just
wanted to be in school together.
I'm also about to be 44.
So we also have to think about that.
Like I know that his
sperm doesn't run out.
It's such a weird word.
My stuff's good.
He wants to be able to play
and, you know, do all the fun stuff.
No, for sure.
You know.
Yeah, that's the only thing
problem that I'm getting is I'm getting older. You get tired as you get older. You get tired. I know.. Yeah, that's the only problem that I'm getting.
You get tired as you get older.
You get tired.
I know.
I mean, Brock's only about to be 33.
33?
I know.
How did I not realize he was that young?
I know, we're five years apart.
I did not realize he was that young.
I didn't know that either.
I didn't realize it,
I think, until after I slept with him
and then I was like,
wait, how old are you again?
He said 29 and I was like,
oh shit, I thought you were at least like 32, like at least.
That's fine, Jack's 10 years older than me.
Yeah.
But I mean, he seems like he's younger than me.
Definitely act like it.
Yeah, it works.
I get that.
All right, speaking of good fan questions, we're going to end with this one and then
I want you to tell everyone where they can listen to your podcast and all that.
Okay.
A-R-I-K-A-G. I don't know how to say that, but they want to know what do you think is the
biggest misconception about your relationship? Hmm. What would you think? That's a tough one.
I don't know. I think a lot of people, whenever they like watch the show and stuff, I think that
a lot of people thought that
i kind of was like ran over by jacks a little bit but like in reality i wear the pants yeah
we know let's be real that's true i love that right uh yeah yeah i mean i don't know i think
that no i agree i'm very scared of you my southern uh my southern uh i don't know what you call it comes out yeah yeah a lot yeah she's
she's not as sweet as everybody thinks she is i'm a lot tougher than people think she is not
a morning person okay and if she doesn't get her way then yeah it's it's on it's on hey i'm still
very sweet but i can like stay on my own that's 100 and i think that's
something people don't realize about me but what do you think about our relationship that people
uh i i just i don't know i i think that i think that's the best thing to say i don't know there's
it's just such a it's such a interesting question i think i don't know i think people just you know
they want to see something go wrong. I think they just want,
people want to see me fail again.
Yeah.
We do get a lot of that.
Like people are always like,
I bet he's still cheating.
No matter what I do,
like if I fix myself,
I can't do right.
If I don't fix it,
well,
that you're not getting any better.
I am getting better than that.
No,
you're not.
You're still,
it's like,
I can't win.
I really can't win.
I wish people would just like,
you know,
give me the better for the doubt and be like,
you know what?
The guy's moved on. he's changed yeah he's done
really well like i like i said i feel like the best i ever been in my entire life right now i
feel really good about my life and it sucks that people still think sometimes that i've i haven't
changed but and it's just random people and i shouldn't let it get to me but sometimes it does
of course so i'm just like i'm like what do you have to go on something that i did five years ago
yeah you did this five years what did you do with I did five years ago? Yeah. You did this five
years ago. What did you do with your life five years ago?
And now everyone's re-watching the show. I know.
When you said this season four, I'm like, yeah.
I know, my God. I don't even know who, I don't even
remember last week. I will say really
fast, like, because we watched the first episode
of the reunion,
which was crazy, but
like, Lala had such a good point that like
Stan Ball kept trying to go back to like what other people have done.
And it's like,
the difference is,
is that everybody has grown and changed and he is still doing it
currently.
You know what I mean?
And like,
I just hate when people try to go back every single time,
deflect,
deflect,
deflect to what other people did.
That drives me insane.
What were your thoughts on reunion?
Part one.
Honestly,
I'm going to be honest with you i don't
like when lisa is siding she's i just think that she was like sticking up for tom a little bit too
much i didn't like that at all i don't like the fact that she was kind of sticking up going against
lala a little bit i thought it was going to be a little different i hope it gets better i do and
this is my opinion don't please don't me. I'm allowed to have my opinion.
It was good.
It wasn't what I expected, but it was good.
I hope it gets better, though.
I do.
I thought it was good.
Yeah.
I hope it gets better.
Jax is the worst critic, though.
I am. I was expecting something a little bit different.
But like I said, it's only that first one.
Different how?
I just thought it was going to be a little bit more.
Explosive?
Yeah.
I thought it was.
It was explosive. People almostive? Yeah. I thought it was. It was explosive.
People almost fighting.
Yeah.
I know, but I just, I feel like, I feel like they're giving Tom, they're giving him too
much.
I don't know.
Maybe I, cause I just want to see Tom go down.
Well, we still have two more parts.
Yeah, I know.
And I know.
And I don't, and I, I'm not, I'm bored with Lisa.
I think he's thinking they were getting taken up from a little bit and he didn't expect
that.
Yeah.
They're sticking up for him a little bit too much
and that bothers me. But you guys killed it.
That's for sure. Yeah, you did great.
And everybody looked really
good. Everyone looked great.
I'm being, you know, devil's eye, I'm
being critiqued a little bit because I know you guys so
much and I know everything that's going on.
I thought maybe it would happen a little different
but then again, how many episodes is this? Three?
We got three and then we have a bonus footage episode.
And then Peacock is doing extended parts of the reunion all three weeks.
Yeah.
That's only going to be on Peacock.
Yeah.
That's going to be good.
Mm hmm.
It was good.
Don't let him get you down.
Oh, it was good.
I'm not saying it was good.
I was just I was expecting something.
You had the Scandival finale.
Then you have reunion part one. But it's like they can't all be about that. I agree. You know, I was expecting something a little different. It's like then you had the Scandival finale, then you have Reunion Part 1,
but it's like they can't all be a 10.
I agree.
You know, so it's building up.
Let me ask you, what happens after this?
Once this goes away, then what?
That is a great question, Jim.
Hopefully we figure it out together.
I mean, they're beating this to death,
so I'm curious, what's going on next?
Stay tuned, everyone.
