Starting point is 00:00:00 The following podcast is a Dear Media production. All right, y'all, I need your help. Ariana, Katie, Lala, and I are all nominated for an MTV TV and Movie Award, along with the entire show Vanderpump Rules. I need you guys to go and vote. You can vote up to 20 times a day. Please vote so your favorite show and favorite girls win. From Vanderpump Rules to Motherhood and everywhere in between, it's time to catch up with Sheena Shea.
Starting point is 00:00:43 This is Shenanigans. And now, here's your host, Sheena Shea. This is Shenanigans. And now, here's your host, Sheena Shea. Because we're good as gold. Because we're good as gold. Because we're good as gold. I gotta tell you I'm feeling good. This party's got me all charged up. Okay, today is a fun day where we get into some shenanigans while also popping a podcast cherry. We've got my girl Olivia Flowers from Southern Charm in LA and on the mic. Hi. How are you doing? Good.
Starting point is 00:01:28 I'm so excited to be here. Thanks. I'm excited that you're here. Wild. Doing your first podcast. Literally, when I used to live in LA, I would watch your show. And if you told me, like, two years from now, I'm going to be in your studio having these conversations with you, it's wild.
Starting point is 00:01:44 I'm having an outer body experience. I love it. So, okay, you lived in LA, but you end up not on Vanderpump Rules. You end up on Southern Charm. So I have to ask because I know you know this, but I have never watched the show religiously. I've seen episodes here and there when I've done like Watch What Happens Live with Shep or someone I've watched like that episode. And everyone's always told me, you need to get into it.
Starting point is 00:02:13 You need to watch it. It's the best show. But I'm like, I am a person where I can't just start watching season nine. You know, I need to watch from the beginning. And I don't have time to watch that many seasons because it's so many episodes that's nine well we just finished nine so it'd be eight seasons but that's kind of the beauty I don't know with your show do you tell people they have to watch it from the beginning like for me I feel like they can jump in at any point see because I kind of just want to start
Starting point is 00:02:41 watching season nine because now I know so many more of you. We all met at BravoCon. And I'm like, well, now I feel like I want to watch it. Because the amount of questions that came in, I mean, we have so much to talk about. But yeah, I want to ask you first. Okay, so how did you end up on Southern Charm instead of Vanderpump Rules? I know, right? I knew I should have put my application into Sir. You should have.
Starting point is 00:03:02 I really thought about it. It's not too late. I really might jump ship at this application into Sir. You should have. I really thought about it. It's not too late. I really might jump ship at this point. We need more of that. You know, we need more crossovers, girls trips, and like... Why do the guys get all the crossovers? Yeah. Like, give us a cool trip or a ski vacation. Let's manifest that. We're putting it out there, Bravo.
Starting point is 00:03:21 It's out there. Yeah, well, I grew up going, like visiting Charleston. I never lived there full time. My family always just went there the summer, the holidays. So it was always a home away from home. And I was living in LA at the time and then COVID hit. And I did not want to be in Hollywood during the apocalypse. I get it.
Starting point is 00:03:42 So I got on the next flight out of Burbank, went to Charleston, and just like spent that whole time with my family. And I knew I wanted to be closer to home. I just learned we're all Taurus queens here. My mom's a Taurus. Not my sister, my daughter. But my sister, my daughter, and I are all year of the ox. We have like all these weird like astrological and new year things.
Starting point is 00:04:05 I didn't even get into astrology until living in LA. Yeah. Were you into it before? No, not really. But then you have to here because everyone's like, hey, what's your name? What's your sign? I'm like, okay, let me look it up really quick. But it's fun. It's like fun to catch on to it and look at the behavioral patterns. Yeah. I like it. I have fun with it. Yeah. So James Kennedy's girlfriend, Allie, that's what she does for a living. She does astrological
Starting point is 00:04:29 readings. No way. Oh my God. She come and done it for the rest of the cast. She's so good at them. So I know she started doing them now
Starting point is 00:04:36 for the public and yeah, I want to get her into some shenanigans soon to talk about all of that. James hates doing podcasts. So it's like pulling teeth for him.
Starting point is 00:04:47 He just, I don't know if it gives him anxiety, but he hates it. I feel like all guys on our shows like to hear themselves talk. Yeah. Why wouldn't he like this? I know, right? Huh.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Yeah. Speaking of the guys on your show, they are the reason that I never got into watching the show because I, so I wasn't a big Bravo fan prior to getting on Vanderpump Rules. I wasn't very big on reality TV. I think I watched like the real world or The Bachelor, maybe like a survivor or something. And so when I got on this show, I remember I was literally at a big NBC Universal Bravo upfront event. And it's every show that was on the Bravo network at this event. I don't know a single person there. I have no idea who anyone is. My whole cast hated me at the time. They didn't even want me on the
Starting point is 00:05:42 show. They felt like it was their show and their group of friends. You were on the out. And I know this because I watched all of your I'm a fan. So you really went through it with them. I did. Congrats. Congrats for that. Thank you. It's crazy how the one person back then, Tom Sandoval, who made me feel welcome at that was one of my first massive carpets. It was the biggest red carpet I had ever done in my life. But my first big one for this show, I'm there. I had just had an accident where I knocked my teeth out. I have a temporary tooth.
Starting point is 00:06:16 I have a flipper in my purse in case my tooth falls out. So much anxiety. Literally, I felt like I couldn't smile. My gums were bruised. It was the worst. And Sandoval was so sweet and like put his arm around me and like pulled me in for the photo to like feel like I was a part of the cast. And never in a million years could I have imagined that that person would be the one out of the whole group to hurt me the most. You're dealing with that now.
Starting point is 00:06:45 Yeah. But today's not about me it's about you so i know you are so the guys oh yes back to the guys yes so did they tell you like not to watch it or something so yeah okay so i had never seen any of the shows and southern charm wasn't even on at this event that i was at. It wasn't a show yet. It started like the year after. So then I think the year after that, I did watch What Happens Live and I maybe met Craig first. And then I met Shep. Then years later, I met Austin. Shep and I kind of had a little fling. It was it was a blip in time. Oh, my God. Blip in time. That is the term. You'll wait and see it this season. Yeah, no, I'm going to watch this season now because I have to. That is like what kept being talked about, like with all the drama.
Starting point is 00:07:32 They're like, oh, it's just a blip in time. And I was like, if someone says blip in time one more time, I'm going to turn you into a blip in time. Oh, my God. That just like triggered me. But anyways, that's what Shep was. So when I met him, I just thought he was the funniest, most charismatic person. And I was like, oh, my God, he must be great on the show. And he was like, don't watch it.
Starting point is 00:07:52 He's like, your entire viewpoint of me will change. And I was like, well, he's like, I don't come across like good on the show. And I'm like, oh, you know, it's just editing. He's like, just maybe don't watch it. Are you the one who started that rumor? Every time they do something, they're like, oh, the edit. And I'm like, they can only edit so much, guys. Yeah, you're't watch it. Are you the one who started that rumor? Every time they do something, they're like, oh, the edit. And I'm like, they can only edit so much, guys. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:07 You're still doing it. You're giving them the content, the idiocy content to edit. You're saying it. You're doing it. Yeah. I think it's a word. Wait, that's hilarious.
Starting point is 00:08:17 So I never watched it because the guys who I became friends with didn't want me to see the assholes that they come off across on this show. So I just always, you know, didn't watch me to see the assholes that they come off across on this show so i just always you know i mean that makes sense that makes sense that's hilarious that they yeah that they say that yeah but i feel like now especially after this past bravo con we did the charming house rules watch what happens live together i met your entire cast i finally got over my OCD thing where I used to only follow 420 people I was like a numbers person and for 10 years I've followed 420. if I make a new friend
Starting point is 00:08:52 I unfollow someone and it was it was a thing it was a thing that went on for way too long but then it just became a thing where people would notice if I was following 421 I would get a text from someone like hey you might want to check and then it goes down to 419. I'm like, shoot, did someone deactivate their account? What's going on? So you got over that? I got over it. I followed all of y'all after BravoCon. We've all stayed in touch. You and I have hung out several times since and I love it now that I know all of you. I'm like, I feel like I have to watch your season. It's so funny. Mine was so backwards. I didn't know any of y'all.
Starting point is 00:09:27 I've always just been a fan of the show. And now knowing y'all, I was trying to think. But I was even just that more excited to watch. But it is. I get sad, genuinely sad. And I can text you and be like, how are you? It's so weird. It's definitely a crossover.
Starting point is 00:09:43 So yeah, you're probably going to experience that, especially this next season. Totally. So as a fan of Bravo, what was it like for you to be at BravoCon on a Bravo show? Were you a Southern Charm fan? I, well, I watched Southern Charm. Yeah, I was a Southern Charm fan. I know people say that they're like, you're a fan of the show before you're on it. And I was like, correct. I don't know if they took that as like an insult. And I was like, I was. People say it that way.
Starting point is 00:10:10 And now I like it even more because they're giving me a job. Totally. Like, it's okay that you watched the show before you were on it. I never understood that. Yeah. But BravoCon was wild. I mean, well, these people you know. So I'm a huge Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Starting point is 00:10:25 That's me and my mom's. Yeah. And so I was in the elevator with like Kyle and Sel and just. It was like I forgot, like, oh, I'm here. We're at the same party. Right. You're like, I'm still here. Fan mode.
Starting point is 00:10:39 I was like, I like your hair. Like she was like, what's your name? Like they were so sweet and friendly. And then I forgot, like, I'm sweet and friendly and then I forgot like I'm I can talk to them yeah I'm not gonna seem like a fan so it was wild it was a blast I loved every part of it yeah I didn't want to get like too drunk because I wanted to remember all of my interactions totally did you have fun I had so much fun I now even looking back people have gone back and watched my vlog from BravoCon I did an exclusive
Starting point is 00:11:08 one on Patreon where it was the Bravo After Dark Party where Sandoval and the Most Extras performed that was so fun so fun right never again will we be going to one of those shows but at the time I'm like up there with Raquel and Ariana
Starting point is 00:11:24 in the front row. I have a video of y'all. I had the best time. And now to think back to like what was actually happening then and probably happened at BravoCon. Crazy. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. Think about that.
Starting point is 00:11:37 You're going to have to watch it. I mean, that's what you're going through right now. Yo, like this whole season, every episode, it's so crazy because they've already hooked up at this point in what's airing. It's like when you have to watch a movie back after it had some like crazy ending. Like the sixth sense. Yes. And then you catch everything. I feel like that's what we're all going through.
Starting point is 00:11:58 That's what it feels like. Yikes. Well, it got us nominated for an MTV TV and Movie Award. So that's exciting. That's so exciting. And they're on my birthday. Are you serious? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Oh, because it's May. Yeah. Oh my gosh. That's going to be so fun. I know. I'm so excited. So if you guys didn't hear my ad at the beginning of the show, for those of you watching, you can vote 20 times a day.
Starting point is 00:12:24 Please go vote for us because this would be so cool to win. You got my vote. Oh my God. Thank you. All right. So a lot, a lot of questions came in. But before we get into any of that drama, I just wanted to offer you my sincere condolences with your brother, Connor.
Starting point is 00:12:46 I can't imagine how tough that's been for you. And I know you were filming during that happening. So I don't want to ask you too much. I know we spoke a little bit before if there was anything you wanted to say just to go through that type of grief while having cameras there. Yeah. I can't even imagine. Well, thank you for saying that.
Starting point is 00:13:08 It, you know, while it felt like everything was crashing down, the last thing on my mind was filming. They were all so, like, production was so, so respectful, like, gave me my time. But it was therapeutic in a way to be able to, like like go to a job where not only am I okay to talk about my feelings and talk about how, you know, talk about him, but encouraged and as terrified as I was to do that. And I wanted nothing more than to just like respect my family at that time. And that was like my number one concern. I didn't really, like at first I thought the show was a bad thing but then to see it as more of like a blessing like I get to go to work every day and
Starting point is 00:13:51 talk about this person who I just I don't know like my it just that was the upside of it is that I got to use work as kind of like therapy and there's cast members who knew him so I felt comfortable um Leva being one like talking to her about it but you know the downside of it I will say I just felt like I've been like on emotional cruise control is like the best way to think about it it's just like everything's I'm just not like hearing like the bullshit stuff that we were arguing about before and having to like jump back into that after dealing with what was going on at home. And that was like really, really difficult to like have to pretend to light and to the cameras and to my castmates, even though they were there for me and they were great. It just wasn't something I wanted to talk about.
Starting point is 00:14:53 So to have to shelf that and talk about anything other than that, like the Taylor and Austin stuff, it's just, I don't even know what it's going to look like watching back, honestly. Like I would have conversations and I wouldn't even remember. I would call my mom after the scene and I wouldn't even remember what was said. Like she would ask me like how it went and what we talked about. And mind you, there was no alcohol involved. No, it's just like an emotional blackout. That's happened to all of us, obviously for different reasons. But I completely understand that part of it. When you just get home and you're like, what did I just say?
Starting point is 00:15:29 What did I just film? I don't remember. My mom's like, how do you not remember? I'm like, I don't know. I know. My mom was like, oh, my God, were you drinking? Did you get too drunk? And I was like, no, mom.
Starting point is 00:15:37 That's the mom's always the go-to. I'm like, it was a coffee. And so it definitely, like, for me, that's that's been like the hardest part. It's like I haven't even like really processed what's happening in real life. So then to go and have to deal with such bullshit on a scale of things that just like didn't matter. And I don't know. I don't really know how that's going to look back. I don't know how that's going to play out. But it's been rough. Like, I was really grateful to have, like, my parents there. But, like, to even think about putting, like, makeup on and, like, going, I just wasn't there.
Starting point is 00:16:16 And you're going to see that a lot, I think, like, the second half of filming. And I just didn't want to talk about him in a space that got to be so toxic. You know, it's like the most important thing in the world to me is my family. And like to go and like sit there and talk about some bullshit with Taylor. You're like, that doesn't matter right now. It doesn't matter. That is not what I care to talk about. And like even our last episode, like there's a conversation
Starting point is 00:16:45 Austin and I are having and he's like asking me or he's telling me I'm like an inconsistent friend. And it's like true. Like I have been inconsistent because... You're going through something
Starting point is 00:16:56 very traumatic. Thank you. And like I just didn't have the words to say that. I was like in the drama with him. I was like, well, you know, like we used to date and now we don't. And then when I got out of it that I was like in the drama with him I was like well you know like we used to date and now we don't and but like and then when I got out of it I was like why didn't I just say
Starting point is 00:17:10 you don't fucking matter yeah you don't matter Taylor doesn't matter like the fact that y'all think y'all even have any kind of real estate in my brain right now is so selfish and that to me was just a crippling thought to think that like people who I wanted to be there and support were just there talking about the bullshit and I was sitting there with them doing it yeah that's like the hardest thing about this job is we are just living our lives but when crazy things and when there's a death you know an immediate family member when something like that happens especially during filming the filming doesn't stop you know the world doesn't stop for what you're going through you just have to live it in front of the whole world but just know no matter how this comes across you opening up your feelings everything that you were going
Starting point is 00:18:08 through at that time there's gonna be so many people out there who can relate to you and people who are going to be rallying behind you and people who support you so don't even worry about oh how's it going to look am i going to look inconsistent am i going to look this that none of that shit matters you're dealing with a very big loss so be proud of yourself for still showing up to work and doing your job because I can't imagine that was easy yeah no thank you so much and like that means a lot because like I said the whole season was just an emotional blackout yeah sharing your story is going to help a lot of people that's what it was my dms has been overwhelming like in the best way at how many people are relating and it's just like i want to be able to get to a place where i can tell them it's okay not to have their head
Starting point is 00:18:55 together it's okay to be a mess it's okay if you can't think straight like it's that's the best part i think about our jobs like we get to utilize a platform to help others and like to just kind of turn a really, really shitty situation into just brightening someone else's situation. A hundred percent. That is the best part about this job. As hard as it is knowing that when we share our story, there's always going to be,
Starting point is 00:19:19 I said, even if it's one person, there's one person that I help by being open about this, then it's a job well done. I person that I help by being open about this, then it's a job well done. I mean, I admire how well y'all do it too. Like y'all, I mean, you've been doing this for so long too, but I just, I admire how much you open up about it.
Starting point is 00:19:36 That's been like my biggest struggle. It's like even on social media, I want to like go talk about it or like, or respond to it and I just close up. My brain hasn't like shifted into the mode of, you're someone that has this following, a platform. You can talk to things about it. I'm so just wanting to keep it in my closed circle.
Starting point is 00:19:55 And that's okay, too. But yeah, it's just been a balance, and I'm trying to figure it out. It's been bizarre. My world just feels like it's completely upside down at the moment. Yeah, 100%. And until it airs, you Until it airs, take as much time to deal with it as privately as you can because you know when it airs, the whole world is going to rally behind you and everyone's going to be there to support you. Don't worry about how you're going to look because it doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:20:22 It really doesn't. Thank you for saying that yeah we're gonna take a little break and then we'll be right back are you guys ready to hear me talk about factor again because i'm about to because it is my favorite at home meal delivery kit right now that makes my life so easy and makes food ready so quick they are america's number one ready to eat meal kit for a reason and let me tell you why they have ready to eat meals delivered straight to your door you're gonna save time eat well and get everything else you need done done

Starting point is 00:22:27 The mega pop sensation is back. I'm talking about TLC's Dr. Pimple Popper with the queen of pop herself, Dr. Lee. Every season, it seems to get juicier and splashier, and this one is no different. It's the show everyone loves to cringe through every minute, every Wednesday night on TLC. So we forget that the skin is actually the largest organ of the body. So the possibility of something going wrong is endless. There's so many different skin
Starting point is 00:22:59 conditions that Dr. Lee tackles on the show. I had to look them all up. And let me tell you, my search history is just absolutely terrifying now. I don, I had to look them all up. And let me tell you, my search history is just absolutely terrifying now. I don't even want to go back to it. I don't know how Dr. Lee does it. I mean, what sticks with you is the crazy difference in the before and after once Dr. Lee does her magic. The transformation is truly life changing. In one episode, I've said it before, I'm going to say it again. There is a guy who has over 400 tumors on his body. Yes, yes, you heard me right. 400.
Starting point is 00:23:34 I mean, I get annoyed when I get like one zit twice a year. Can you imagine? Well, you don't have to. You can watch an all-new season of Dr. Pimple Popper Wednesdays at 9, 8 Central on TLC. Set your DVR. You can watch an all-new season of Dr. Pimple Popper Wednesdays at 9, 8 Central on TLC.
Starting point is 00:23:52 Set your DVR. All right, so there were a lot of questions. I know you just briefly mentioned Taylor and Austin and how, you know, at the time, obviously, none of that mattered. And I know we have a whole season that was just filmed and hasn't aired yet. And I know how it works. I know you can't just go and spill all of the tea here on shenanigans. I love when people do, but then people get in trouble and I don't ever want that.
Starting point is 00:24:20 I know we have the same bosses, too. Yeah, exactly. I'm like, they're listening. that so i know we have the same bosses too so i'm like exactly like they're listening but obviously certain things are made public like instagram and it is known that you unfollowed taylor so how much can you say can you say why you unfollowed her can you confirm if any of the rumors are true I also got a lot of questions saying is the Taylor and Austin of Southern Charm like the Scandaval of it all and I was like wait I need to start watching this show because they have a Scandaval like what is going on it is it it is so not the same as scandal ball it is not the as like on the same level on
Starting point is 00:25:08 the same level yeah totally not i will say you know there are the similarities for me just came from rumors like you mentioned like there were always kind of rumors going around i think around tom and raquel yeah oh yeah rumors, questioned them about rumors. They said, nothing's happened. Nothing's happened. And Lala's like, really? Like, they're going to tell you to your face? Like, yep, we've been doing it.
Starting point is 00:25:32 And I'm like, I mean, I know, but yes. So, okay. So similar in a way where people said things were going on, but nothing was confirmed. Yeah. And, you know, and you know, as well as I do, I can't. I'm not here today to confirm anything. Can you deny anything? I mean, it hasn't even quite gotten there.
Starting point is 00:25:56 I will just say that the rumors and stuff, and that's what this season is. It's the rumors coming to a head enough to have the difficult conversations. Things were confronted, but it's hard. I'm losing my train of thought. No, it's hard when, and also, this is your first podcast. It's hard when you're doing a podcast or having a conversation on camera or something with a friend, and you feel comfortable to talk about it, but then you're like, hold on, wait, my wait my job I can't say this all and you can't give away too many spoilers and you're
Starting point is 00:26:29 new at this so I I get it I know how difficult it is when you want to just say it all but you can't you're doing great sweetie yeah it's it's a lot about like the friendship and stuff too everything is just kind of heightened like a lot of feelings were hurt and for me like the unfollowing there's a reason for that but like I said I'm not gonna like confirm anything you'll see how it all season nine season nine I got two therapists from it but tune in hey I mean I get it I unfollowed Katie this season and people noticed. Yeah. During when we were filming, I was just like, fuck this. I'm done.
Starting point is 00:27:09 And I unfollowed her. And then when she unfollowed me, people noticed. They're like, Katie unfollowed Sheena. I was like, I unfollowed her first. Not that it matters who unfollowed who first. I will. But no, it's true, though. It's like for me, I was like, I forget that kind of stuff is being watched now.
Starting point is 00:27:24 Like, I'm a very out of sight, out of mind person. Like, when I just want to break from someone or a situation, it's just cut off. Yeah. And not, and that's all that was for me and Pinot Grigio. Yeah. And the mixture of it. Like, the next morning I saw it, I was like, Olivia and Follow Taylor. And I was like, oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:27:40 I'm still just not used to this being a thing. Yeah. And that's what it was. Just like that's just how I deal with it. Yeah. I don't need to see you. I completely get that. I don't need to like be around it.
Starting point is 00:27:52 And things are just still left pretty unresolved with us. So the last thing I want to do is like see you on a story. Yeah. And sometimes muting just isn't enough. You know, you got to just actually unfollow. My mom's like, Sheena, but what about when you guys are friends again? I'm like, we'll never be friends again. And now we're DJing emo night together.
Starting point is 00:28:11 And I'm like, do we refollow? It's awkward. Yeah. So there is always the mute option. But sometimes you just you really got to hit them with that unfollow. Yeah. The day the scandal all broke. I'm like, I'm not following you, you or your fucking band oh my gosh obviously i'm like wait do i follow him
Starting point is 00:28:30 drawn you better unfollow i like how to double check i've been posting ariana and her reunion dress all over my oh my god if that's not the best revenge dress i have ever seen. It's the ultimate. It's so good. Okay. I don't follow him. Boom. It already happened. Okay. So,
Starting point is 00:28:52 enough about Taylor and Austin. I will say, I did love seeing just like a little mini cameo like Winterhouse. I was like, when is Olivia going to be on Winterhouse?
Starting point is 00:29:01 Because I was waiting for you to come and pop in, but it was just like the little bit that they talked about you. I was like, oh, that oh that's all we get well that was the other thing and that was so frustrating I learned more about my relationship with Austin hearing him talk about me than like in real life yeah like he was claiming that I was the girl he saw himself ending up with or he like called me his girlfriend and I was like oh interesting because we haven't
Starting point is 00:29:24 done that in real life yet but okay good to know like let's let everyone else know our situation before me like the person in it that's so funny yeah like he went on his they did like a podcast tour him and Craig uh-huh and I woke up the next day and someone was like Olivia Austin did y'all were like dating now and And I was like, what? Like we were just. You're like, wait, hashtag confirmed. Like we're boyfriend, girlfriend. And sure enough. News to me. Sure enough, I go and like see the video and someone in the audience asks like, oh, y'all,
Starting point is 00:29:53 I hear you're like seeing someone or you're dating. And yeah, he was like, I do. I have a girlfriend or something. And I was just like, oh, we hadn't even had that conversation yet. But cool. Interesting. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:03 So when was the timeline that you and Austin dated at BravoCon were you guys still dating that's like where we kind of we were so back and forth like I think he and I both have commitment issues and right before BravoCon was like after reunion we I didn't like really we just never knew what we were we were so back and forth always always arguing, and then maybe together, maybe not. And then right before BravoCon, we had a conversation. He was like, I think we should be all in.
Starting point is 00:30:34 Like, we've been doing this back and forth. And so BravoCon was like our first what felt like we were a couple. Because Reunion was a disaster. Like, we were saying we were dating. You guys had filmed it shortly before BravoCon, was it? I remember talking about it during the Watch What Happens Live. And I was like, again, what is going on? I need to watch this show.
Starting point is 00:30:54 Yeah. So reunion, we were, I mean, he had told me he loved me. Like we were in that place, but still just reunion changed everything for me. That's like how, that's what I feel like shifts. You're like, yeah, well, I was into 10. I was 100 yards away for part of mine. Oh my gosh. I'm excited to see that.
Starting point is 00:31:16 I'm excited to see how, I'm like, am I just going to be the little square at the bottom, like reacting to what's going on? You know, I'm screaming at the TV. I'm like, so cute! You hear her down the hallway, like reacting to what's going on. You know, I'm screaming at the TV. I'm like, so sad. You can like hear her down the hallway like shouting. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:30 No, we were over 100 yards apart. Wild. Wild. So sad. Yeah. So when does the new season air? You guys probably don't have like a date yet, but like roughly time of year are y'all on? I'm thinking fall. That's what I've been hearing.
Starting point is 00:31:47 Do you always film at the same time every year? No. See, that's so nice. Ours is always in the summer. Always. We never get to film in the winter. We never get to film any other time of year. This past season was the latest we've ever filmed, and that was into September.
Starting point is 00:32:04 I didn't know that. Y'all are super consistent. Well, they definitely are all over the place. I remember one season they filmed in the summer in Charleston and everyone looked so wet in every scene. It's so humid. I was like, yeah, worst time to possibly have a camera in your face. And so I was just incredibly grateful that we were fall winter yeah but yeah humidity fucks with the cameras humidity fucks with everything yeah your hair too no everything like my mental state is in check like in question because it's so damn humid in Charleston yeah that's how it was in Cancun for the wedding I had no idea the end of August in Cancun
Starting point is 00:32:43 highly recommend doing a destination wedding or trip at Dreams Natura. I'm just going to plug that here. However, this is not an ad. Don't go in August. The sand flies, the mosquitoes. I mean, we had to have a full mosquito net over summer's crib. I came back to the room one night and Brock was asleep under my wedding veil. That was his mosquito net.
Starting point is 00:33:07 I was like the humidity. It was so bad that the cameras for me walking down the aisle, the Vanderpump cameras were fine. But my actual videographer didn't realize that his camera hadn't fully acclimated from indoor to outdoor yet. And so me walking down with my dad like that whole part was just a blur and when i found this out i was so sad but thankfully we had another like backup gopro so we have a couple shots of it and then obviously whatever you'll see on right but yeah humidity oh my god no. Well, welcome. Because that is our, I mean, that's like half our year. It was like four or five days that we did that.
Starting point is 00:33:49 I can't imagine a full season in humidity. No. Hell no. Yeah. It's something, it hits different. Yeah. Y'all needed to discover that because you live in Los Angeles. I know.
Starting point is 00:34:00 It's perfect here. It's perfect. So I don't feel sorry for you. Yeah. So who are you closest with on the show right now? Like from start, did you have a go-to friend? And who are you closest with now? Because I know that always can like change in the reality TV world.
Starting point is 00:34:16 Right. I was like, ask me this time last year. It's always a different answer. Always. Well, so Naomi, did you meet her? I met her years ago. We like hung out and got drinks together at Pump probably like seven years ago. I think I was maybe even still married to my first husband when I met her. It was a really long time ago.
Starting point is 00:34:35 Oh, wow. Okay. Yeah. Early days. So she isn't on it this season. Wait, no, I lied. It wasn't Naomi. It was Catherine.
Starting point is 00:34:42 Okay. Okay. Okay. She's an OG like you. Yeah. So both actually Catherine and Naomi, they're not on it this season. Yeah. lied it wasn't Naomi it was Catherine Catherine okay okay okay she's an OG like you yeah so both actually Catherine and Naomi they're not on it this season yeah but I I knew a number of them before coming on to the show um and actually my brother he's one who kind of introduced me to most
Starting point is 00:34:57 of them closest Leva is a family friend so she's always she's and she's got like loved her she's like big sis energy you know what I mean and she's always always looking and she's got like loved her she's like big sis energy you know what I mean and she's always always looking out so I say love her but I'm also like close with the guys like Shep he's my neighbor so we'll like oh nice yeah we hang out and yeah it's it's wow it's different the list is different now right that's like the hardest part though going from having someone that you're super close with in this experience and then it just like overnight. I mean you get it now literally overnight overnight To where I'm just like I don't even know how to navigate Like a friendship with boundaries and here I am finding like I have that now. Yeah, I don't know how to do it
Starting point is 00:35:39 It's weird, but back to your question. I would say leva Closest yeah, I would say Leva closest. Yeah, I'm pretty much, I'm good with everyone. Even Madison and I are friends right now. Yeah, okay. So I wanted to ask about that because she was one of the first to comment when I asked her questions and she said, can't wait for this one with the heart. So I just thought y'all were friends. But then I was like, wait, now I feel like I need the history of where this started because
Starting point is 00:36:03 you guys didn't really start out as friends. No. Well, we came in just like cordial. Obviously, I was dating her ex. So I think. Right. Yeah. So but I didn't want any kind of issues there. Like we I don't know. I think I had a lot of information about her given to me. From someone else. From someone else. With a different perspective of her. Yes. Yeah. That can change your thought of someone. And then you meet them and you're like, oh, wait.
Starting point is 00:36:31 Yeah. She's not that bad. Yeah. That's pretty much. I mean, Madison, she's a feisty one. And so once we did kind of get into it or like have our arguments, that was my reason to be like, OK, we're not friends. You know, like I let go but I will say having someone else's opinion in your ear as much as you like don't want it to affect you and I'm like a very just what's the word like protective yeah so I
Starting point is 00:36:55 immediately was always wanting to have his back and I jumped and I did that's and I would do it again because I cared about him and that's how that works for me. But yeah, we're cool now. Like we had lunch over the season and she's funny. I mean, and I think we all can agree. Madison's not so on your bad side. Yeah, she is a feisty. So it's been yeah, it's been fun, like getting to know her and I've enjoyed it. Yeah, she was the first person I met at BravoCon.
Starting point is 00:37:23 It was the night we got to the hotel. I don't even know if I checked into my room yet. And we went straight to the bar at the Gansport on the right side. And she was sitting there with Derek, who I've now started working with. And he's fucking fantastic. Oh, nice.
Starting point is 00:37:38 So I met her and then she said her name was Madison. I'm like, wait, I wonder if this is like the Madison. So I'm like doing my quick little Google search. And I'm like, who was the one with A-Rod? And I was like, wait, that's her. Yeah. So I, because again, don't watch the show. So I didn't know anything about her. I'm like, do people like her? Do they not? But I was like, she's bubbly. She's gorgeous. She's sweet. I like her. So right then I was like, I'm going to follow you on Instagram. And there it is. I love that I got rid of the 420 thing. I was about to say, good thing you did.
Starting point is 00:38:06 Because you had a lot of paperwork. I know, right? What other shows are you currently watching on Bravo other than Housewives? I mean, Vanderpump, of course, along with the rest of the world. It's so crazy. I have to step it up, honestly. Like Real Housewives and then Vanderpump. Real Housewives, Beverly Hills, and Vanderpump have always been, like, my go-to.
Starting point is 00:38:29 But I know I'm missing out, especially after BravoCon. Like you said, you'll hear about the drama and stuff, and you're like, crap, I don't know anything. Like, that's how I feel, especially now. I'm, like, in it. And so I need to step up my game. I feel like, too, that when you're new, it's like you're just, like, dipping your toes in the Bravo world. And then you start to meet people at you know experiences and events like BravoCon watch what happens live and whatnot and then it makes you want to start watching more shows.
Starting point is 00:38:52 Definitely. After that first upfront event that I went to I immediately wanted to start watching Jersey because Joe Gorga and Richie who was on back in day, they were so sweet and welcoming to me. They saw me just standing at the bar by myself looking all sad, probably on like my Blackberry at the time. And they were like, What you doing over here? Like, why are you all alone? I was like, My cast doesn't like me. And I was like, I just I don't know anyone here.
Starting point is 00:39:18 Like, I don't even know you guys. And they were like, Come hang out with us. And they went introduced me to Melissa, Teresa, everyone from Jersey, and then Priscilla D'Estacio, who has now been my makeup artist and a good friend of mine. Oh, she's great. For like 10 years.
Starting point is 00:39:34 Wow. And it all started at that one event because Joe Gorga was so sweet. And when we were at BravoCon this year at, I think it was the After Dark party when Sandoval was performing, I took a step away for a second went to the bar and Joe was at the bar and he was talking to Brock. And I was
Starting point is 00:39:50 like, and I started to get emotional ever since I've had a baby. I swear everything makes me cry. I've just never I've seen Joe several times and Melissa, but I guess I just felt compelled to tell him this story. Then I was like, Joe, I don't think you know, like, how much. And he, like, had no recollection of meeting me at that event. I go, you. And I'm, like, starting to get, like, emotional. And he's like, you. I was like, no.
Starting point is 00:40:12 I was like, you were just so sweet to me. Like, I had no one that night. And you, like, made me feel welcome. I was like, so you have no idea, like, what an impact that had on me in this whole Bravo world. And I was just like, thank you so much for just being you. Oh, wow. That was sweet of you to even say that. I probably meant a lot to him.
Starting point is 00:40:28 Yeah. But that's why I just, I love this Bravo world and family that we're in. Because it's like, you just feel an instant bond with people. And BravoCon was just, it was fucking epic. That's what that was. It's so true. We're in this very specific niche. and there's not a lot of people I mean did you have that like when you go out with friends and stuff it's like you don't want to just talk about this but like this is our life
Starting point is 00:40:55 it's so hard not to yeah and and so to like be around people who just get it even not knowing them you're just like bonded by this bizarre but really cool experience. Like that in itself can like, I mean, like with the Madison thing, like that would get me, we put our junk behind so we could like talk. And there's not a lot of people to talk to about it. I know, especially with your own cast, because you guys have your own experiences and that, you know, the same production company company the same producers and all of that it's like I can't necessarily relate to those people you know but I can relate to your experience so it is just great having people on your show outside of your show who just get it yeah because I was just saying I had interviews today for Vanderpump Rules and I'm like never have I ever interviewed after the reunion this whole end of the season is so crazy.
Starting point is 00:41:46 I can imagine. I mean, a drastic change for you. And then having to go back. But is it kind of cool because it's happening real time? Like what's happening right now? Are you able to talk about? Yeah. Like that's the hardest part.
Starting point is 00:41:59 I feel like with green screen, you have to put yourself kind of back. And I mean, no, we still have to do that you know when we do our interviews yeah they're not it's not live it's not like the bachelor where they pull you out of a scene to film it you know you do have to go back in time it is and it's hard to talk about it's so hard especially if like you're in a completely different place with the person you're talking about you're like okay let me put myself back there yeah so now I mean because y'all just kind of pick the cameras back up right yeah so yeah I don't know I don't even remember where I was going with that but um back to the questions about you Sarah OC so she hosts the Vanderpump
Starting point is 00:42:37 Rules Party podcast shout out to them hi and many other people asked if you're still dating a baseball player. No, I'm not. But that was, so that was my, I've known him for a long time. And we just, it's so funny. You take someone out in Charleston and like the next day you're dating them. Like it just, so we never really made things official. It was just fun and so cute. He's a baseball player.
Starting point is 00:43:05 They have good butts. I know. I had a lot of athletes back in my early days in Hollywood and whatnot. I had a couple of baseball players, so I get it. But I was like, wait, I thought Madison was the one with the baseball player. I'm like, Olivia had a baseball player too? Very, very different scenarios. A lot of Taylor and Austin. I had a feeling.
Starting point is 00:43:26 Everyone just, did she feel weird about taylor and austin making out i'm like wait is is this you're like confirmed or is this rumored sarah also wanted to know if you're still living at home she said i would that house is amazing oh thank you failure launch over here yes i am so my family is in Texas now. And I was looking at places and I almost pulled the trigger on one. And my dad was like, it's going to help us out a lot. If you do stay put, it's a lot of house to manage. And I was going to be going back and forth over there anyways. So yeah, I was like, yeah, I'll definitely help you out pops with staying in your house, of course. Sure, twist my arm. I need to come visit Charleston. That is one city on my American bucket list I have wanted to go to for so long and have never been. Well, you've got a lot of people there waiting on you. Yes. Bring the team.
Starting point is 00:44:14 See, why can't we do this crossover? You know, like where next season on Vanderpump Rules, we all go to Charleston, and then we go to, you know, Leva's Bar. That would be so fun. I feel like the fans would love then we go to, you know, Leva's bar. That would be so fun. I feel like the fans would love that. For those of you watching, comment below. Would you want to see more crossovers on
Starting point is 00:44:31 Bravo? Because I feel like everyone would. And back when I was single, I dated a Shaw. I dated a Southern Charm. I dated a Summer House. And I wasn't allowed on anyone else's show. Who did you date on Summer House? Carl and I had a blip in time. No way.
Starting point is 00:44:46 I didn't know that. Yeah. Oh, wow. I need to get around more with the community, the Broadway community. Yeah, I had my single two years in between my, well, after the divorce, I went straight into another relationship,
Starting point is 00:45:02 but then after Rob smashed my heart in a million pieces, I was just like, bring on the boys. Well, you never dated in the friend group, did you? No, I'm I think the only person thought it was Raquel. Also, I'm literally the only person who hasn't hooked up with anyone in this friend group. No, all the guys I dated were always like outside of it. Even like Adam. I mean, yeah, he worked at Sir, but he was outside of the friend group. But that's so smart.
Starting point is 00:45:34 And that's the way to do it. And that I feel like was the hardest, has been the hardest part. Like I said, I'm out of sight, out of mind person. So I don't put myself in scenarios where I have to be back around my ex. And that's what this is. That's what this show is. You have to constantly be around your ex. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:51 So it's like not only am I. No. Yeah. And it's like you're already trying to navigate how to be around them. But then also try to like form a new friendship because I don't want to hate him. I don't want to hate my ex every time I go to a party or every time we film. Yeah, that's not good for your mental health. Right.
Starting point is 00:46:09 To have those feelings that just like pit in your stomach when you walk in. Exactly. That's the worst. And I don't want to leave a party early because they're going to be, you know, so that's like a lot of the season is for me is trying to figure out how to not only be around him, but form this friendship like with new boundaries that I didn't have before. And that sucked. It was so hard. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:35 It's like it was tricky. The whole thing was tricky. Yeah. I don't know. I can imagine. Ashley Felice, who is the most annoying person on Southern Charm? Who else is annoying? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:46:48 I mean, Shep can be annoying sometimes. He's just, I mean, you know him. He's a bull in a china shop. I don't like the word annoying. That's what's throwing me off. But if I had to, yeah, annoying is hard. But Shep is. He's just, you never know what you're going to get.
Starting point is 00:47:05 He's got all kinds of different moods. He's a literal bull in a china shop. That's so, yeah. Yeah. Oh, my God. It's like I'm sorting through these questions, and it's just literally Taylor Austin, Taylor Austin, Taylor Austin. I know.
Starting point is 00:47:18 I did like Q&A thing the other day when I was on the plane because I was bored, and it was all that. And I was like, boy. I wish I could give better answers. I don't even have them. No, I know. It's hard. We'll have to have you back on when the show is airing and you can talk about more.
Starting point is 00:47:35 But oh, here's a fun one. Trina DeBestis underscore mommy. Fuck, marry, kill. Craig, Shep and Austin. All right. I'm going to kill Austin, marry Craig, and you know what? Madison did this exact answer. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:57 Kill Austin, marry Craig, and do sex with Shep. But I'm not going to, folks. I feel like that's most people's answers. I don't know. But actually, I don't sleep with my friend's ex-boyfriend, so I'd probably have to kill Shep, too. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:13 Actually, we never did either. Never got that far. Tie-dye Kush. If you could be on another Bravo show, what would it be? Oh, easy. Vanderpump. Hey, sir is now accepting applications.
Starting point is 00:48:28 The worst waitress of all time. Were you a good waitress? How did y'all do that? Like, I actually was. I was a very good server. Like I knew my shit. I can memorize an order of 10 people. I could name off the specials. I was really good at my my job but I was also very happy when I didn't need to do that for a job anymore it became like I still wanted to go into Sur I didn't need to anymore but I mean I was the longest standing OG still working there
Starting point is 00:48:55 8 seasons then a pandemic and a baby later I'm like y'all better put me on the management level if you think I'm coming back again I do not need this. I still want to be a part of the Sir family, but like I don't need to put on a Sir dress anymore. What about like during filming? I always wondered that.
Starting point is 00:49:13 How was... So in the early seasons, it was easier because they were just following us do our job. But then more in like the mid seasons, people were coming in to try and get on the show and then it became more difficult where we would have to have you know like a dedicated room that we would film taking orders and stuff in because it was just yeah a show and like a free-for-all and now i mean we have to have full-on security it's It's a whole other level. I've driven by there so many times and I would always see this, like the line just out the door. And I was like, I know those goat cheese balls are good, but there's something else. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:55 Okay. One more Mary Fuck Hill. Jax, Schwartz, and Sandoval. This is coming from darling Daisy, Daisy Sandros. Are you sure that question's not for you? Nope, I think it's for you. I said questions for Olivia. Well, I didn't say ask us anything, but I mean, I'm killing
Starting point is 00:50:12 Sandoval. Yeah, I was about to say, how many kills do we get? Yeah. Because I don't know what to do with Jax. Can I go have a beer with him? I feel like, you know what, I'm gonna marry Jax because I see the husband and dad
Starting point is 00:50:28 he is to Brittany and Cruz and he's so good. Schwartz, don't want to bang him, but I feel like it's just like, let's see how awkward this is. Okay, I think I would marry Schwartz.
Starting point is 00:50:44 And then divorce him? He sucks at marriage, I think I would marry Schwartz. And then divorce him? He sucks at marriage. I'm clear. Yeah, I was going to say, how many divorces do I get in this game? That is really cool about Jax, though. I haven't. How are they? They're good.
Starting point is 00:50:59 They have a new podcast. They're going to be getting into some shenanigans with me soon. But they have a new show called When Reality Hits over at Podcast One. Oh, that's perfect. Yeah. But yeah, they're doing great. He just did another reality show called House of Villains. That'll be out in the spring sometime, I think.
Starting point is 00:51:14 Okay. That's fitting. Yeah. Is he, does he like own, obviously he's like owning being the villain. Is he talking, what is it about like him talking? So it's a bunch of villains from different reality shows all living in a house together, like Big Brother style. Oh. Interesting. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:29 Okay. That's gonna be cool. I know. That's very different. Yeah. And he said some of the women he was on with, like, I Love New York and some chicks from Bad Girls Club, he's like, oh my God, he's like, I'm not built for this. He could be the villain of Vanderpump Rules,
Starting point is 00:51:46 but you put him in a house with actual villains. Right, right. That's scary. That is scary. Yeah. Like I love New York. Oh my gosh. I watched all of those.
Starting point is 00:51:54 I watched Flavor Flav. Yeah. Did you ever watch those? Long time ago. Long time ago. I was like in this like really strict Christian like elementary school, like running to get my book back.
