Let's go. Hi everyone and welcome back to Sex Lies and DM Slides with me, Safran Barker. And me, Anastasia Kingsworth. So it is another week, another episode to catch you up on our lives and talk about all things sex, dating and relationships. As you can see today, we're barefaced. Yeah, today's episode i'm actually quite excited because this proper i know we say this about most episodes but this is really going to feel like a genuine catch-up for me and anna because whenever we're on facetime usually i would

say 80 of the time we're doing our makeup and getting ready for something and that's when we decide to facetime each other yeah and it's always really early in the morning like we always start it off in bed and then we'll start getting up and doing stuff together and then when you're ready we'll be like right we're going off to do our day now um yeah we thought it would be fun to basically do that on the podcast for you guys and just get ready and I mean maybe if this has been done before I haven't seen it but I've never seen anybody do this before like getting ready on a podcast no neither have I but I feel like it's because most podcasts as well you can't um like actually sit and watch a lot of them so I don't know if you're watching right now yeah you're gonna see our full makeup routine and basically completely get ready with us um so yeah I'm just very overall

excited for this episode although I'm looking at myself and i cannot wait to put makeup on same and can i just say i normally can get ready now very quickly like i could probably do my full face in about 15 minutes so i'm gonna really slow this process down my face in about 15 minutes same like full face for lashes the lot like really i can do it 15 minutes yes i think just because like i do the same makeup routine every day that I'm so used to doing it now. Like if I'm going on a date, if I'm just going to Tesco's, it doesn't matter what I'm doing.

My makeup routine is pretty much the same. Like if I'm going on a date, I'll try and spend a bit longer on it. But I swear to God, I'm doing the same steps. I do the same thing. Same. I just try and spend a little bit longer. I put a little bit more on. Same. If I'm going on a date or like I'm going out at night maybe I'll venture out and do a bit of

cut crease and that will literally take me about three more minutes see I can't even do that I'm not that adventurous so I literally stick to the same makeup routine every single time also I just thought this we could maybe do a little bit of asmr in this you know because i've never done an asmr and i really want to do one yeah me too i've got the real like i really want to do that and like tap all the products like this because i love watching on tiktok when people do like asmr get ready with me's and did you see when kylie jenner did it has kylie jenner done it yeah she did it when she launched her like new makeup line and stuff and she did like an asmr and i was like this is so good oh my god no i haven't seen it but on that um apparently by the time this episode

comes out it will be confirmed or not apparently kylie dinner is in manchester today what why so chanel is having a fashion show in manchester today have you not seen it all on social media or is it just because i'm like okay so i don't i now i might get this wrong and if i get it wrong nobody i hate you for it but somebody in chanel apparently married somebody from manchester so they want to do their fashion show in manchester and in the northern quarter they've built the catwalk they've got like it already they were doing the run-throughs last night and it's at 5 p.m tonight and everyone apparently imagine this is filled with celebrities right now all the other hotels have been blocked off nobody could book to stay in a hotel because all

the celebs are here oh my god no way um and i saw on tiktok that all the buildings around the northern quarter have received letters saying that at 5 p.m they're not allowed to come on their balconies and they have to dim their lights while the fashion show is on yeah so i i think what is the chance that people actually stick into that well i don't know because one girl filmed last night they run through and you could see all of the models like walking through obviously they're not in their outfits they're just in like coats and stuff well you're really gonna have to make sure your makeup's looking amazing today babes because you never know who you could bump into well i'm thinking to myself i might actually walk into town later on and see who i can spot and see if i can like get close to or anything because it's

on the street like you can literally so cool obviously security is like crazy like there's loads like road blockages and everything but um yeah so today's a good day day. Oh wow, that's so cool. and member terms apply let's go and talking about fashion and chanel you just went to the fashion awards how was it because i was so jealous i saw everyone go i couldn't go but um it looks your look by the way was insane thank you honestly I was a bit stressed because like it was my first fashion awards and I found out I was going like not too long ago so I didn't have long enough to like go and get a dress made by Adesano or anything like that so I was like oh my god I don't know what to wear so Steve Madden took me which was amazing to got to wear their shoes and their bag and stuff honestly walking that carpet was probably the craziest thing I've done in my career this far like really babe I've never walked a bigger carpet in my life at the same time we were walking it Anne Hathaway was walking the carpet wow okay so I was literally

like and do you know Louis Partridge no I don't know who that is he was in faces like I'm not very good at like knowing names so have you seen He was in Enola Holmes. I'm better with faces. Like, I'm not very good at, like, knowing names, so. Have you seen Enola Holmes? No. Okay, well, he was in that movie, Bobby Brown. That's got Millie Bobby Brown in it, right? Yeah, so he's the main guy in there. Right.

Very sad to find out that apparently he's dating Olivia Rodrigo because I fell in love with this boy on the carpet. I literally thought to myself, that is my husband. Obviously not, because he's dating Olivia Rodrigo. But he was there. Pamela Anderson was there. It was just, like is my husband. Obviously not. He was there. Pamela Anderson was there. It was just like the Winnie Harlow. Like it was just the most insane thing.

And looking at everyone's outfits and stuff, I was like, wow. Like that is incredible. Yeah. I remember I actually saw Winnie Harlow in my hotel. She was coming out the lift. She is beautiful. And she looked absolutely, she's stunning look at me right now by the way if you're watching this you're really getting the reality of me putting

my makeup on i look like a spotty dog are you are you on foundation because i can't right i'm just doing foundation i'm trying to take it slow so before i put my foundation on i put on the um what is this called again because it's all rubbed off you know this oh it's like a it's not a primer but it is it's like a I can't I don't know what it is basically it goes under your foundation but for so many years I thought it was a foundation and I was kind of like I don't really get the hype because I don't think it's that full coverage like it's really nice but it's not full coverage but then I learned that you're meant to put it under your foundation so that's what I've just done and now I put my foundation on doesn't it give you like a nice glow yeah it makes you super glowy love that I'm also on foundation I just did my skincare basically I had a beauty app at

Canada and I may have opened all the doors already because I can't believe you've done that yeah so I've got like loads of little minis and stuff. So I've just been using this pro moisturizer, but it smells like a spa. See, I'm using probably a moisturizer that you've never heard of in your life because it's a medical cream I have to use. Oh no, I've learned it because of you. It's all I talk about.

Yeah, it's all you talk about. I literally can't like use another moisturizer. This to me is just the best of the best, but you do actually have to get i think you have to get prescribed it although saying that you probably can't just buy it online but your skin looks phenomenal now as well oh thanks babes it's really going through stages though it really is going through stages like but also i feel like everyone's skin in the winter does just go through it a bit because of the weather why is that i honestly don't know but

i feel like because i go through stages like in summer maybe because i'm not wearing as much makeup i don't know but my skin can breathe more but yeah like my my skin in summer was honestly unreal but i think it's just because i had a tan and everything as well i need the same do you know how tanned did we get this year the most time we've ever been We were actually slaying the tan guys. Like, me and Sam normally are snowmen when we go on holiday and we're so depressed about it because everybody else tans apart from us. We went on this cruise into Ibiza this year.

We come back absolute bronze goddesses. We looked phenomenal. But what I don't understand is where is it gone? Yeah. I thought real tan was meant to stay. I have the weirdest tan line in what i wore like the a really high bikini and because i don't tan i thought oh it's fine like it doesn't matter i kid you not this tan line hasn't ruined my life like it is so high up my

belly and it's still there like yeah that's that's nice it's the worst oh well babe i wish that tan line would go but other than that still looking very pale to be fair it's we're coming into christmas i feel like this is we don't really need a tan like we're wearing jumpers hoodies it is so cold out that i'm not wearing a crop top anytime soon you know so that is very true like it doesn't really matter right now. And speaking of Christmas, you put up your Christmas tree with your boyfriend. I know. Oh my God. Honestly, that was, I would actually say that was like one of the best days. You rang and told me about it. You literally said that to me. You said, Anna, it was probably one of the best days of my life.

Yeah. God, it sounds so, such a loser going to get my christmas tree no actually it was the cutest day like i've never ever had a real christmas tree before like i've always dreamt of doing it but does it still smell in your house can you smell it oh my goodness when i walk downstairs it smells incredible like i walked out of the cinema yesterday because me all my friends were over and we all opened the cinema door and we were all like, whoa. Like the whole house smells of like cinnamon. It's honestly the nicest feeling. Yeah.

I think it's because I've got like acorns and stuff all over my, acorns or pine cones? I don't know the difference. Oh, pine cones. Pine cones. I think I keep calling them acorns in my YouTube video.

But yeah, like, and they all smell like really, they're like cinnamon scented. So I think it's probably that more than the tree. But yeah, going to get the tree was the cutest thing. I can't even tell you. Yeah, I think one, because I've always dreamt of going to get my own real tree. And like, it was,

obviously it was just cute going with my boyfriend like the fact that we did it together and like it was the first I would say like proper Christmassy thing I've done this year like so far um and so yeah it just made me feel really festive and I always would watch Zoe and Alfie's vlog of them going to this tree oh yeah you went to the exact place yeah I love that I've never I've never had a real tree so i don't really know what it's like like i i i try to buy you know because obviously the real trees smell amazing i bought from primark these like little packets that's meant to smell like a real christmas tree and i put them on my christmas tree literally did fuck all like oh really you should go to a garden

center because they do loads of things like that. They do loads of scented things. Yeah, that you put on your tree and stuff. And that's probably going to be better than Primark, to be fair. Because the smell of like the natural Christmas tree smells incredible. No, I know. Like, oh, sorry.

Your tree's massive as well, by the way. My tree is huge. But one thing I will say is, I don't know if this will be the first and last. Like, although I'm saying it was the best day ever, having a real Christmas tree to me is like having a pet dog I have to water it every day my mum has to come over and water my tree when I'm not here like I didn't know that was a thing and I know that is so stupid but I've never ever had a real Christmas tree before so I obviously you have to water it but I just completely forgot that you'd have to water it

so well five days my tree didn't get watered but me also being dumb I had no idea you had to watch the tree well obviously because it's a real tree like how would you well it makes sense but like in my head I just thought it would survive the month I know no that's what I thought but then I'm like well obviously saffron obviously it's like flowers you can't just expect them to live for a month yeah it makes a lot of sense yeah yeah your tree is massive I couldn't believe it when I was watching your thing because the seedlings in your living room were a little bit like higher as well so the fact that your tree hits the seed bin oh I know and the thing is Lewis and I are both exactly the same we always want the biggest

of the best like you know like if there's like a tiny little present and a big present I know. And the thing is, Lewis and I are both exactly the same. We always want the biggest of the best. But you know, like if there's like a tiny little present and a big present, I know for a fact we'd both pick the big present first. Although like the best things normally come in small packages. I just know in that sense, we're very the same. So we both see the biggest tree.

And I'm like, oh, by the way, my ceilings are quite low. I think it like, it's about seven and a half foot. So of course we choose the nine foot Christmas tree is that how tall it was nine foot yeah when I have 7.5 foot ceilings like last year my tree was 7.5 feet and this year we went for the nine one obviously knowing it's not going to fit we thought there's a way around it and then in the vlog when he was outside sawing what you call it do you want to know why that is because everyone was confused it actually took seven hours for us to put up the

tree so basically the reason being no stand would hold the tree like the tree is so thick so we had to go to like five different shops and try all these different tree stands and none of them would fit the trees yeah in the end he had to saw the tree and like make the base smaller so it would actually fit into a stand but yeah so it was the best day but towards the end we were over it yeah i can imagine because like putting my christmas tree up i kid you not took me 45 minutes let alone if i had to spend the full day and then putting the baubles on and then the lights on. No, I know. It was a lot.

But like, you know, when you imagine like cute Christmas day with your boyfriend, like, and then it's never really, the reality is it's never actually as cute as it looks online

because nothing's ever as cute as it looks online. It genuinely was as cute. Like it just was the cutest day. Like we just sang Christmas songs all day we laughed all day but then when it got to 7 p.m and we'd taken seven hours we're a bit like we're over it yeah no how also did you fit that in your car well I didn't I put it in it was in Lewis's car but we had to put all the seats down yeah because he has a really big car. But we still had to put

all the seats down and like, it just about fit, you know? Yeah, I was going to say because that is a massive treat to try and take home. Let alone put up,

just try and fit in a car. Yeah, to be honest, I don't know how, I don't know how we got it in the car to be fair, but where there's a will, there's a way. So, right.

Exactly. Should we talk about the next stages we're on with our makeup, by the way? Because I'm a'm a crazy person yeah you're a little bit ahead of me so you go first am i i'm really trying to get slow as well i've what have you done concealer yet yeah okay i'm still you say you can't tell well because i didn't know whether you were going to do contour first and then conceal do you know what i mean because sometimes people do that and I'm like, I can't do that. You know when people put all their contour and concealer and foundation on their face at the same time?

Yeah, I find that so weird. I'm like, how does that even make sense? No, I know. Mine would all just like mush together and it wouldn't look cute. Okay, so I've done my concealer and my foundation. I'm going to talk through the products I've used. So after my Abadi cream, this is my favorite foundation ever like of all time and it's the pat mcgrath foundation it is different level but it's so pricey but it is

oh my goodness the best the best like the best of the best can i just say staff has been saying this for years like never tried foundation like it but it is really expensive also it won't be good for you if you have oily skin because it is quite oily but it's insane so i use that and then concealer to be honest i don't have a favorite concealer i kind of just use whatever i have but i use the benefit um boiling concealer today and it was really good really enjoy it lovely coverage and then this is my new favorite contour stick and what i love about it is how tiny it is because like when i'm traveling to oh my god it's mini it's mini and when i'm traveling to lewis's like i always i'm just such an overpacker so i've had to learn to bring a really, really tiny condensed makeup bag. And my contour stick fits perfectly.

So this is the Milk Makeup Sculpt Stick. And I have it in the shade Simmer. And yeah, it's literally, look how petite it is. Is it normally that size or is that a mini? I don't, I think it is normally that size. And I've had it for such a long time and it doesn't even feel like it's going down. And it's probably one of the best contour sticks I've actually used.

I love mini stuff. I have a bit of an addiction to those mini brands. You actually do, don't you? Yeah, I hate admitting that at 23 years old, but I think it's come from like me loving washing lots as a kid. I still love collecting like weird things. Every time I do a food shop, I buy mini brands.

Anyway, it's such a waste of money. Probably shouldn't do that, but it's a little love of mine. I know, like when we go to Sephora and when we're in the queue, you know, they have like all the minis and I literally like buys everything. That's a wet dream to me.

Like that's actually a wet dream walking through the Sephora mini aisle. I love it. It's the only time I would buy something from the Sephora mini aisles if I want to try a product, but I haven't tried it and I don't know whether it's worth the money.

Yeah, but also, love Sephora, but the mini eye is expensive now. That's what I mean, it's so expensive. They're not mini prices, they're like 20 quid

for a mini powder. I'm like, well, if I was spending that on a mini, I might as well buy the full size. Yeah. It's better value for money to buy the full size.

It really is. So your little addiction is not good. My little addiction needs to stop and I'm going to use that to buy the full size it really is also your little addiction is not good my little addiction needs to stop i'm gonna use that to make 23 um my foundation that i used see i've got a bit of a not hate relationship with this one guys i'll be honest it's the makeup by mario foundation and i thought this was just me when i used this then when i was at saff saff thought the same it's amazing but it goes really almost like wet looking on my face after about an hour even if i use a half a pot powder it doesn't really

make sense like i don't understand why if you love like a dewy skin finish this foundation is for you like you are going to be absolutely obsessed but i prefer it to look a bit matte and then like naturally get oilier throughout the day i think but the coverage is foot on so yeah the coverage is amazing i got the foundation because um imogen kept wearing it and her makeup was amazing she was like how have you not tried the mario foundation it's the same looks flawless yes i was like wow i'm definitely gonna get on with this like anything. I was using the foundation and I just found that like it always looked like I was oily and I've never had that problem before. Yeah, that's what I thought because I wore it yesterday when I was on a shoot and I literally just travelled for two hours and I had to completely repart on my face and I was like, oh sorry,

and I was like, this isn't normal. But but i love the foundation like the coverage is incredible the coverage is incredible i think honestly it's my skin type because on imaging it looks insane really what does it hers doesn't look like oily or anything no it just looks like oily but then also she recommended another um she recommended another product to me that was a powder and again it was amazing on her and i put it on myself and my skin didn't get on with it so i think what i figured is we obviously have like polar opposite skin types yeah and all the products just work for her skin not for yours yeah but it's crazy because i never really thought i had a skin type like if you asked me if i was oily or dry i would say i'm neither i wouldn't i wouldn't say i'm dry i

say i'm more on the oilier side if i was gonna say something but i don't think it's like excessive or you see i would say i'm more on the dry side if anything really yeah but i love but i put a lot of moisturizer on my skin though i always put moisturizer on i don't know why i just love the feeling of being on yeah so do i but to be fair a lot of a lot of moisturizers do break me out really yeah so many like moisturizers make my skin so bad see this is really bad it is but i'm bad with knowing what products actually break me out like because i use so much like many like random different products i can never work out one that is like actually bad for my skin so i should probably start doing that because i'm

getting a fair few spots at the moment also guys concealer i've been obsessed with this one it's the kylie cosmetics power blush long wear concealer so my hmv one right now i've just got to send them and i really want to try it by the way so that's why i got it i got to send the package and i was like oh my god um because my hmv would just run out and i loved and i love that one thought that was like really worth the money but this the coverage 10 10 so is it meant to look like i don't know if i've got this wrong is it meant to look like you know how people are doing like pink under their eyes the concealer yeah isn't it meant to be like pinky based really maybe maybe i mean i have got a nose what's it called again

how a plush long wear concealer plush yeah isn't it like yeah but like i thought it was meant to like you know like how everyone's doing the pink under eye yeah i'm not gonna lie not sure how i'm loving this pink under eye no i hate the pink under eye this is what i was gonna say i hate it personally yeah i don't think like i have the makeup skills to be able to do that and make it look good i think if i did it it would look like i've just put blush on these well yeah but also have you actually seen anyone wear it out because i haven't no i feel like the only people i see do it are like amazing makeup artists on tiktok yeah same maybe they do go out like that and that's amazing because they can really do it but if i did it i could not wear that out no neither what step are you on now by the way right i'm going on to powdering now um i finally have hair

again i found it really hard then to do my contour and yeah that's what I'm struggling with the headphones I was like trying to let you talk so I can do it at the same time um I'm going going in with my powder now recently I've tried so many different powders because I've used the Laura Mercier powder for I couldn't even tell you how many years and I thought you know what like I really want to try something new because there might be something better even though you know how they say that you shouldn't fix something that isn't broken that's how i feel with this laura mercier powder because it's just the best one i've tried so many the past month is it this one that laura mercier one well i've got a different i think it's the same one but i've just oh yeah it's just the original basically yeah yeah i just think it's insane i

think it is the best powder i haven't used another powder for years this is just always the one beauty one do you know that's what i used to use but then it ran out and then i got this again but i had this before that i think i just used when something runs out as an odd user when i've got in my drawer but this is phenomenal it is it is, isn't it? And do you know what's really weird? Like, I know this sounds probably so crazy. I love the way I look once I put all my powder on and I wait for it to set.

I'm like... With all the powder on your face? Like when you're baking? Yeah. Yeah, me too. When I'm baking, I'm like, gosh, she looks contoured. Yeah, I love it.

I love how like, yeah, it just makes you look contoured and you can see like all the separate makeup products on your face. so if you're going on a if you're going on a date right are you doing exactly what you're doing now yeah pretty much like i would say i'd do it more full coverage but i don't think i even could do it more full coverage than this this is like pretty this is basically date makeup that i'm doing right now like what are you gonna do on your eyes I mean to be fair I've essentially got time to do a coverage well to be honest babe when I go on a

date I try and wear like less makeup on my eyes really I was going on a night out yeah I wouldn't do I wouldn't go on a date with like a smoky eye. I definitely wouldn't do that. Or like a big, like. Well, I can't really do much. You know, all they're going to get is a brown little, brown little powder and a little wing, which is pretty much what I do every single day. That's what I like though.

I wouldn't like bake how I'm baking right now if I wasn't going on a date. I'd do this if I didn't want. What do you mean? You would bake or you wouldn't bake? No, I would. Oh, you would. Okay, yeah, got you. Because I wouldn't want it to come off. But like, this is if bake? No, I would. Oh, you would. Okay, yeah, got you. Because I wouldn't want it to come off.

But like this is if I'm going out on an evening date, you know? Yeah, this is what I'm going to do. I'm going to do like evening date makeup. Let's go. Let's go I don't use highlighter yeah you don't do you but I always use it no I just I don't know I used to use highlighter but I always found when I put highlighter on like it just looked like I was wearing so much more makeup even though it's like one more step i just felt it looked like jesus christ got a lot on her face and my mom used to always say it looks like i have like a like she's always i know she used to always say like it looks like i've like stuck my nose and something like because it'd be so shiny and my mom never like so it just put me

off it i think highlighter makes it a bit more obvious that you're wearing makeup whereas like if you're just doing contour and blush it can look a lot more natural and also if you're using like a very silver toned highlighter it could almost look a bit tinny whereas like i always try and use a really like goldy yeah warm gold toned one just to make it look a little bit more subtle I guess I'll I've got a really good one actually I'll show you when I'm doing it but yeah I haven't noticed that you know where highlights are yeah I just don't really think it suits me to be honest I just feel like it looks like I'm wearing too much makeup but then I love it on you yeah I can't do my makeup without it

now if I go out without it? Feel very lost without it. Also, you are storming ahead. I might need to pick up my speed a little bit here. Wow, I'm really, really, really trying to drag my makeup out here, guys. There's so much powder just come out on this. Oh, my good God. Whoa. Right, so what I'm doing, for everyone that's watching right now, is I've set my powder.

I'm letting it bake because it's what I do on a night out I'd let it bake for longer if I wasn't going on a night out and I was still sitting my face which I pretty much do every time anyways um I'd probably just like buff it out straight away but like if I really want it to last I'll like leave it on my face so then I'll jump on to doing the first step of my eyes with my eyes for so many years i would honestly use the bronzer that i put on my face on my eyes i like doing that because i just feel like it's the perfect like i like like warmly like bronzers and i feel like that's normally what we put on our face isn't it so yeah i would use that it's nice when it kind of like all links and matches up i think it just makes the whole makeup look a little bit more complete i guess yeah i really like it so i

actually like i actually haven't done that today because i'm using this bronzer for my palette but to be honest if i used the bronzer that was on my face it'd probably look exactly the same so it's really nothing that special i am just going in with more contour. This Morphe palette, it's the 8T, 8T Totally Tan, my favourite palette that has ever been in my makeup bag. I use the bronzer and I use the blush. Don't use the highlighter really, but it's so good just to pop on top once I've powdered

and just set it into place it into place wait what is this the morphe 8t palette it's so oh we had that for years both of us for years and i still use it i literally i asked everybody for my birthday i was like can somebody pick an 8t palette and i only have three of them i'm sorry i'm stocked up for 2024 with my contour. What are you doing? So this year I'm actually going to my brother's for Christmas. It's a bit of a weird one because I would love to spend Christmas with my boyfriend obviously but it's still like I mean we easily could spend Christmas together but it's still like a bit last minute if we were gonna spend Christmas together because obviously we haven't been together for like a year or anything so it's not like we've been together

forever so we were like let's just do christmas separately because honestly we're both so close to our families unless our families were together i think either one of our families would be so upset if one of us wasn't there so like next year we'll probably have a christmas like both of our families merged but like for now that's probably not going to happen they've never met so i'm going to my brother's for christmas he's actually hosting for the first time. But I'm so excited because Casey and Nicole don't do anything by halves at all.

Can I just say, I've been seeing on Nicole's Instagram story, the tree, how fucking tall is their tree? Babe, it's 13 feet. Not normal. It's 13 feet. I was trying to work it out. I was like, I can't tell whether it's really tall or whether like it's just their ceiling but no it's massive no it's huge is how did they even

put the decorations on the top of the tree well they had ladders what that is incredible i know i wish i had to see to be there upstairs i could have a tree that high if i wanted to but after the experience of that tree, I cannot be bothered. Yeah, a little bit traumatic, I'm not going to lie. Also, they are having Christmas at theirs. So I feel like, you know, they wanted to make it like extra special.

And I saw, I think reindeer or something in the stairs. They've honestly done so much to their house. It literally looks like Santa's grotto. Like those kids are so lucky i keep seeing um what they're doing for the elf is it like that what's it called naughty elf yeah where it's called because he's also visiting ask us um so my mom's doing it as well but i've been watching what like they've been doing on the stories i'm like oh my god that is amazing i never had that growing up is it a new thing i didn't i think it must be a like a very new thing but like it's getting serious now you can

buy outfits every different like every single day for that elf yeah that's crazy it actually is crazy like it woke up in my house in like a bed and mum bought it a sleeping bag and everything because we're going away for christmas this year so mum was like wait where are you going we're going to center parks for christmas this year oh yeah you've told me that that's gonna be amazing yeah we're going to center parks which is actually gonna be really nice because you can pay um my best friend's boyfriend's going to center parks with his maids and no this is so cute imagine three boys paying for this extra so they're not going over christmas they're going like next week right and they paid extra so they could have christmas decorations in their room is that not the cutest thing you've ever witnessed yeah you've done it because it's

christmas day like there's three boys that have done it is that not the cutest thing you've ever heard that is very very cute i love that yeah because you can buy like because obviously sand bath is quite expensive anyway um and i was like on Christmas we need a tree like you can't have Christmas without a tree how much like was it a lot more extra to pay for the tree so I say I'm not gonna have a real tree I've bought a real tree for center parts but obviously it will just be there when we get there um it was 60 pound for a real tree and they're giving us decorations oh that's cute okay so you decorate it yourself you decorate yourself and it will just be there ready for when we get there like in all the packaging but i don't know like are real trees expensive but how much was your tree well no i

i mean i personally think it's expensive because when i go to buy fake trees they're a lot more my tree was i want to say it was £100. I don't think that's bad for a real tree. Or was it £200? For the size of it. No, I swear it was £100, which I was gobsmacked because my tree is huge. I think that's quite, I mean, I obviously know you can't reuse it

because it's a real tree. When you think how long trees hate to grow as well, I thought a hundred pounds, that's not bad. Yeah, that is very true actually. When you think about how long they take to grow, that is so true. Yeah, I don't think that's that bad. I paid £60 for mine, so I don't think it will be as big as yours, but hopefully it will be like a decent size. Yeah, that would be so cute. Oh my God, I love that. But I'm hosting in a sense where I'm doing all the cooking, I'm doing all the table laying, I'm doing everything. Yeah, I'm hosting. I said to my mum, I was like, I just really want to do it.

I was like, because I've never spent Christmas Day with my nan and my uncle before, apart from when I was a baby. So I was like, I really want to host and everything and then mum can play with us because all of these new toys and my nan can if I cook a baby. So I was like, I really want to like host and everything. And then mum can play with Atticus and all of these new toys and my own can if I cook and everything. So, and I'm not going to lie, I'm getting pretty good

at cooking a roast dinner now. Like I say, it's probably the best meal that I can cook. I'm also hosting Friends Christmas next week. Oh my God, so am I. And I'm having to cook a roast dinner for my friends and I'm dreading it. How many are you cooking for?

like christmas eve or boston day but yes the first year spending christmas is like five hours to be which how many of you is that there's quite lot of jeds come imogen's coming this year which is going to be so nice oh my god on christmas day that's gonna be so nice so that's gonna be really nice um although they're probably gonna be sleeping all day because they would have just spent a month in in australia and they get back on uh christmas eve oh my god the jet lag bless them it's gonna hit so i know and also this year we're doing something a little bit different so we're doing a new, well, I'm not, I don't think it's going to be a tradition. I feel like it's going to be the

only year that we're going to do it. But basically what we found in my family is we always spend way too much money at Christmas time. And like, it's lovely, but like, it's got to the point where it's so out of hand. And so I know that my family don't expect this but in my head I'm like I need to outdo what I did last year and I remember like the first year I started making money and stuff I thought I want to really treat my family and so I basically bought them presents that you can't top like trip to the Maldives and the best hotels and like it was excessive and every year I tried to top it and so every year I've done that like I'd buy a trip to the Maldives and or something else like so out of hand right and

my parents didn't even want me spending that sort of money on on them like it was really nice the first time but now they don't want me just to spend money for the sake of do you know I mean trying to outdo the year before and so this year year, like we've all, we've all said to each other, like, please, please don't just buy us something like excessive, like you don't need to outdo it. Like just any, like just get us something small, but we always say it, but then we always last minute, like panic buy, then just spend loads of money for the sake of it. So we've decided this year to just buy one present for one person so we're doing a i want to say secret santa however we know who each other's got because we knew say i say i had i don't know

i mean i would be fine but like say imogen had casey for an example she's not gonna know what to get him so she's gonna ask me or ask jed so we figured we'd all end up telling each other so we know each other's got but we're all actually only going to get one present this year and i'm actually so excited that we're doing that because i just think yeah it's got so up hand christmas isn't meant to be all about presents and 100 yeah i just think it's going to be really nice that like we're all just going to get one thing that we really genuinely want because then also as well that one person can spend more money getting something someone really wants i was going to say loads of things

for the sake of it have you set a budget no which i feel like maybe we should have done but we haven't but i think again it's like we don't want someone to just spend 500 pounds for the sake of just spending it like there's a there's a um set that I really want from Zara and like if I get that I'm gonna be so happy like that's what I want and exactly it's not all about the money and it's not it's about having people around you that you love spending time with families and time with friends um just enjoying Christmas for what it is and I love that because I felt like I was in a bit of a similar position like last year I got my mum and dad's Christmas trip to New York and then this year I was like I felt a bit of pressure to like top that present and then we all had a conversation and we were like that doesn't need to have my mum literally

said to me because I was taking sense apart she was like that's enough for Christmas I'm getting to spend Christmas with my family and my mum for the first time in years and I was like exactly that is genuinely what Christmas is all about but I love that idea what you're doing that even though like secret Santa but you know you each other's got I just think that's like a nice different way of doing it that's an exciting way of doing it yeah yeah I've actually got Jed as well oh you've got Jed yeah wait how did you how did you decide who you had my mum picked them out a hat oh okay so I'm like did she cheat I don't know we'll never we'll never know wait who's got your mum um who's buying for my mum uh oh my god who is buying for my mum? I want to say Jed's buying for my mum. Well, he could get us something from Australia. That's quite nice actually. Who's got my mum? Because I want to say it's Jed. Yeah, Imogen's got Casey. Okay. I've got Jed.

Dad's got Casey okay I've got Jed dad's got Nicole who am I like who have Casey and Casey's got me who's your mum buying for my mum no my mum's buying for Imogen oh that's cute who have I missed out then I'm missing I'm missing out one there but yeah so yeah and it's funny because like I feel like we've all got people that are quite hard like we're all a bit like oh yeah that's nice though do you have a wait have you bought yours yet I've actually got a present yeah I'm so and it's so weird I need to get one well I need to get obviously I've had to get presents for Lewis as well but aside from that I'm buying two presents this year. How weird is that? That is bizarre. Yeah, that's crazy. Oh my God.

I love that for you though. I have actually done a Christmas shopping. And I just think it's just going to be more about just, I don't know. Yeah, just not about the presents. I just feel like, I don't know. Christmas shouldn't just be about that. And for us, it was just getting out of hand. Well, I love that new idea.

And I have actually,'ve done all my Christmas shopping now it's currently all sat literally behind the camera I have I planned what I was gonna get everybody but anyway like I only I didn't have that many people to buy for I literally have my mum Aska my nan and my uncle and Pam so it's like it's really really small but I I planned everything that I was going to get before Black Friday and then did all my shopping on Black Friday weekend. Oh, you're so good like that.

You are just so good like that. Yeah, I was like, I'm going to try and be as organised as possible this year. And I managed to get like 40% off a lot of it. I was like slaved with Christmas shopping.

Oh, buzzing. I know. And then I treated myself to this little set for my Christmas present. I'm obsessed with this set. I keep getting asked where it's from. I'm. Yeah, because don't you have to book it like weeks or months in advance if you've got to go out on New Year's? I've never had to book going out on New Year's, but the queuing is ridiculous. The prices are double, like over double, because they know they can charge anything. For drinks and stuff.

Oh, babe, it's like ridiculous. is so expensive it's so busy it's in my opinion it's so overrated if i wasn't having a party this year there is i can assure you there's no way i'd be going out yeah i think i'm just a bit like over i don't know not over it but like i mean the thought of having a bit of a quiet to new year is sounding a little bit more appealing to me than like going out and getting like absolute blackout drunk. champagne or a bottle of prosecco and we're gonna have it on Christmas day and she even was a bit like oh I don't know and I was like mum like it's the first Christmas and the first like set of five days where you're not going to drive you don't need to get in the car and we're just going to be in one place I was like if I'm going to have a drink with your daughter it's going to be on Christmas day so all that's because goes to bed I'm going to start handing out that down she can't tell that down I even said to my nan's agreed if my nan is agreeing at 73 to have a glass of second with me my mum could agree I thought my nan is agreeing at 73 to have a glass of peseco with me my mom could agree i thought my nan really drank last year actually really my nan doesn't drink either um and i made her try pink

gin for the first time and she loved it she oh my god that's so funny yeah and then when we went out for my birthday meal this year she had her my nan is 73 she'd never had a glass of prosecco in her life no yeah and they i was really ill when we went out for dinner and they came over and they gave me a glass of prosecco so i said nan do you want to have it and she's like oh i've never tried it and i don't know if i'm gonna like it she had the full glass oh my god that is so funny she absolutely loved it it. So I'll keep you updated on getting my mum and my nan drunk this Christmas for the first time. Yeah, please do. I'm very excited about that.

just always the case so she's coming and then her auntie and uncle and their kids are coming because again literally like family and then it's so funny because Imogen's family's coming and Imogen's family have never met well her parents have never met my parents and they've been together three and a half years which is crazy and then Lewis's family's coming and obviously we've been together not even like half a year and oh my god and it's so crazy that Imogen's family's coming but they haven't met for three and a half years not for any reason but just I don't know just never like got around to meeting each other yeah that's nice though that everyone's doing it in one go

I know but like how yeah how crazy is that I'm so excited doing it in one go. I know, but like how, yeah, how crazy is that? I'm so excited for it, honestly. Because I mean, I've met everyone. Like I've met Imogen's parents, even though my parents haven't. Oh, wow. Okay, so you obviously, yeah, you've met everyone who's come in.

Oh, that's going to be so fun. Yeah, and everyone's going to love everyone, which just makes me so happy. All we need is Nicole's family, but they're a bit further to travel because they're in Brazil. But if they could come, that would be the best thing ever that is going to be so wholesome and you were going to get very very drunk very drunk because everyone loves a good drink everyone and I feel like it's just like on the year you just have to have a drink don't you

but well you don't have to but like it's just nice like cheers. We will be. My mum's making me do a drinks order now. She's like, can you get the food prepared? Can you order the drink? Can you make sure you've got the alcohol? I'm like, mum, I think we've got enough time. We've literally got like a month. She's like, yep. But like, you know, everyone's parents are coming.

And I'm like, okay. It's going to come around fast, babe. Like, it's going to come around fast. Like, the fact thatmas is actually a couple of weeks away is making me want to die like how is it at the end of 2023 already well it's not next week is it week after is it yes it's on the monday wow it's christmas on it's christmas on a monday this year christmas is on a monday i saw a tiktok new year starts on a mond Monday do you know how satisfying that is that is so satisfying I love that like New Year knew me on a Monday that honestly just like something about that really

makes a difference to me like knowing it's a new like yeah a new week like I can't start something on a Sunday I actually can't no it doesn't make sense like if the first was on a Sunday I'd be having a chill day still will be having a chilled first of the month but like knowing it's a monday just makes me so happy in my head and i'm gonna be a gym girlie next year i've decided yeah i've been going to the gym maybe like three times a week to go on the treadmill and she's a half an hour on the treadmill but i'm gonna try and do that have you seen that tiktok like 30 day treadmill challenge no i've covered the numbers now but it's like but why don't you get into weightlifting oh babe i really want to but maybe that's like gym gym yeah if you show me how to do it because i don't even want to try and attempt to do it for the

first time in my gym where there's hot models everywhere and then i'm like excuse me can i try and do this i think what you need to realize about the gym though is like genuinely no one cares like I was having this conversation with someone the other day like everyone who's in the gym what you don't realize is actually looking at themselves like no one actually cares what anyone else is doing by the way I'm just trying to put my set spray on same I'm doing the same time hang on that asmr um yeah i think you've got to go with that mindset that actually no one really cares yeah well new year new me i'm gonna do that i'm gonna go in not look at not like look at anybody else anyway but yeah you do just feel like everyone's but the thing is waking up with a hangover on new year's day is just not really it is it that's a problem and i know i'm gonna

be severely hungover i have a lot of new year's resolutions but normally i start it on day two so actually i think i may prefer new year's day to be on sunday in your case yes but then i say that i'm probably going to be in bed all day because i'm probably going to also be like how drunk let's be real yeah so that's the reality of it we probably will be but also we've done our makeup we're ready wow love that you look gorgeous so do you i'm loving this look this is a video where everybody looks in fact yeah i'm mine i just honestly i dread actually how i've been sitting like not even thinking about the fact that there's a camera on me the entire time i've not been thinking about

it at all but we're looking to say loving the products also this setting spray what would it use the urban decay one i use the urban decay one yeah but i love the charlotte tilbury one yeah the the two settings that we've used are amazing by the way would highly recommend and this lip gloss that saff has got me on it's the mac one in please me it's the best i've got saff it for our christmas gift swap and i had to find myself one because i looked at it and i was like that is gorgeous the amount of dms i've had and comments about what lip gloss is that and it's just oh yeah i have quite a few actually being like what lip gloss did you get saff oh really yeah it was please me from that i think it's hard to find like a nice like nudie like like a baby pink color the one i've got on isn't please me what did i oh no did

i just put please me on i swear i didn't just put that on my lips oh i did i put the same one on oh we've got a cheaper alternative guys which is just as nice a little even more tiny bit lighter is the nyx butter gloss in the shade Fortune Cookie. It is unbelievable. I love NYX glosses. And you can probably get three for the price of this MAC one. Yeah, because it's not the cheapest. Love that. Nice little dupe. Yeah.

I literally, just before we go I made cookies on my own the full day spent on my own I watched Christmas films yeah and it was snowing I had the best I didn't speak to anybody and I had the best day it's crazy because I don't think I've ever done that in my like I can't bring myself to sit down and watch a movie in the middle of the day I don't think I've ever done that in my life like I can't bring myself to sit down and watch a movie in the middle of the day I don't think I've ever done it
