but we went out to bongo's bingo and it was so much fun and then i didn't realize that they must have changed it since i last went but it was sort of like a rave at some point like the music went really bingo bingo yeah the music went really heavy like proper heavy like drum and bass and like we were like oh what's going on here and Byron shoved the camera in my face and goes go on do gum fingers I'm gonna send it Saf because obviously me and Saf have had the conversation of loads don't do gum fingers or Anna maybe does do them sometimes so then I proper proper glad he was thinking about me on the night out yes and then I proper proper went for it guys this video of me is vile like I'm up on the bench in the middle of like probably 300 people doing gunfingers and then Callum filmed

okay i know it's fingers crossed anyway that's so off topic but just i just had to put that out there because it's it's annoying me that he's literally he's basically eating 10 grand that is and i bet they haven't even made a lot of them have they probably made like 10 of them no i have seen someone else win it actually in a video as well so there must actually be a bit more than we think there is suddenly i'm starting to buy cream eggs i know i love a cream i do as well i haven't actually bought one this year though but i might go and buy a cream either i'm resisting because the second i start i'm not stopping i know i'm not oh see do you want to know something that i have stopped well i haven't had full fat coke really for wow nearly two weeks as part of my little very proud but guys i was having like three four cans

was a week long hangover weekend long hangover so i will not be doing that for a while that was my one january night out to go a bit wild i'm surprised it was even busy in january i thought like everyone would be doing dry jan saff it was sold out like there was literally not like it there was probably like seven eight hundred people in that room wow that's crazy yeah and then we went out after we did a little bar crawl of like you know the street where like albert's is yeah like all those yeah we went to all those oh nice wow but yeah i think it's just living in manchester i think it's just too tempting when i live literally two minutes down the road yeah from where everything goes on to go out but

but yeah bingo just is just the best excuse to get drunk it's actually probably been one of my favorite nights same but i wish they did it every weekend but they don't they only do it like once every like months or like once every six weeks but then you know it's actually gonna be sold out and be good though so yeah it's actually going to be sold out and be good though. So to be fair, that's actually a good thing. Yeah, 100%. But yeah, it was very fun.

Do you know what I actually have quite a strong opinion on Valentine's Day well actually I'm a hypocrite I'm a complete hypocrite so all the years I haven't had a boyfriend I've always been like don't see the point of Valentine's Day I feel like it's a scam I feel like it's just a way for the shops and stuff to earn more money. Like if you love someone, send them flowers every freaking day of the week.

Like why spend double on Valentine's Day? Also, like I don't want someone to spend double the amount of money on Valentine's Day. I'd rather get two sets of flowers on different weeks than on Valentine's Day, just because they have to because it's Valentine's Day. Like to me, I just want someone to do it anyways and so i've never really been fussed about it at all and it's definitely my mom that's put this in my head because my mom finds it annoying when my dad buys her flowers on valentine's day she's like why really 100 pounds on these roses when they're normally 20 pounds buy me them the day before if you want to get them like she's just I don't know she just and to be honest I've it makes sense like really yeah it does make like

but now with the pressure of social media and I know I've fallen into this and I keep seeing all these cute stuff my boyfriend isn't buying me flowers for valentine's day I'm gonna be so upset I understand because I think if I was in a relationship like there is so much pressure on valentine's day but like if I had a boyfriend I would be fuming if I didn't have a bouquet of flowers on valentine's day yeah whereas before though but I feel like such a hypocrite because for years I've literally been like it's like but like do you know but the thing is I would actually genuinely rather my boyfriend be buying me flowers on random days and valentine's day is actually way more special because i feel like on valentine's day to a point you kind of expect it because it's valentine's day whereas like if

I just feel like social media has put so much pressure on it. And I know I've fallen into that trap too, because I really wasn't bothered about it before. And I've been in relationships, but now I'm like seeing all of these videos and I'm like, well, first of all, my boyfriend needs to even ask me be his valentine's which I didn't even think was a thing until this year like what is what is this all about but I'm still sending it to my boyfriend oh yeah no again this is literally all I've seen on social media we've seen that tiktok trend where

people are like my boyfriend hasn't asked me to be his valentine's uh valentine's yet so he's for sale yeah yeah and I'm just like a short like maybe i will think definitely when i have a boyfriend but they will just be your valentine anyway i when did it when is it now a thing to you now have to ask your girlfriend or boyfriend as well to be your valentine otherwise then i know because it doesn't make sense because surely they are your valentine yeah so that i think just adds like another unnecessary pressure it's just social media that's done this and now it's become such a big thing and i've seen like so many extravagant ways of people asking them to be their valentine as well i think we spoke about it actually the one

with the car yeah and we still want it i still want it do you know what i mean like i'd love to get into the car and have little hearts drop from the thing same you know i'm not gonna say no if anybody wants to do that my boyfriend hasn't rang my friends up and told them to do it for me what no but for real though for but like it's just i think it is a lot of sadly unnecessary pressure because of social media like if social media wasn't a thing you wouldn't be seeing that unless like no for your friend no and like i i do get the big deal valentine's anyways i've fallen into the trap and i want i you know i want all the the flowers on valentine's day and everything else but i don't know i do just i almost do feel like it is a bit of a scam but also i feel like it's different with your first valentine day valentine's what like first valentine's in a relationship yeah because I feel like after that I'll kind of be no I won't be over it well no I'm not gonna be over it I was gonna

say babe I think I'm just a bit of a hypocrite when I was still at year two and year three yeah you're still gonna want a nice valentine's no but I feel you though because when I was with my ex boyfriend last year of valentine's like that was the first time that I'd properly celebrated it with a boy other than that it'd always been like Galentine's and like I actually had the best day because I got like flowers and they weren't just like flowers from Tesco they were flowers from a florist and I was fucking buzzing about that like I was just but like do you know what I mean like they were just really nice flowers and like I don't know it is just a lovely day I mean this year for me even though I do have a date but it's after valentine's so it's not valentine's day but it's galentine's for me

just like normal it's gonna be galentine's for me babe babe yeah I'm gonna be exactly in the same but in fact I'm not even doing anything on actual valentine's day well it's saying that like we don't have I don't have any set plans either I know I'm probably just gonna host because i like hosting i know you like hosting as well you had a early galentine's that's the thing but it was the only date that all of me and my friends could get together oh is that what you did so yes that's why so actually on valentine's day i don't even think i'm gonna have any plans but well we can facetime you can join in on my galentine's whatever i do thanks babe i don't know if i feel a bit more single doing that maybe you've got a boyfriend you're gonna be fine i'm i'm fucking single i'll pop you up on the tv yeah i've got a boyfriend that's not here though

i know i know but can we just talking about that oh i was gonna say i need to figure out what i'm actually getting him for valentine's day oh yeah are you gonna send him something yeah i think i'm gonna like make right the thing is i'm just not very my art skills are actually quite shocking i've made him as like a photo album scrapbook before and it actually turned out really well but it honestly took me about two days but this time i was thinking about doing like a big box of like all the things that he's missing whilst he's in the US but I don't know if I'll be able to make it good enough or not we'll see babe it's a thought that counts I think if he's obviously there'll be loads of stuff that he's missing and then you can put a little picture of you on top yeah yeah exactly exactly that

but I just want to say because your galentine's night inspired me so you know you did like bring a board which by the way i've always wanted to do because i think that looks so fun and you and your friends went like to town with these boards my friend did you see jasmine's board yes it was bloody amazing massive like yeah massive yeah i was at gobs like because i always watch people do it on tiktok but i really want to do it and i kind of pitched the idea to my friends they weren't hating it they weren't loving it but i really wanted to do that um bring like a cocktail themed by your ex have you seen that no but that sounds so good so like say if they cheated on you you

could do like a cheater themed cocktail and make it like orange with like cheater prints on oh my god i love that yeah or like i don't know like if they'd ghosted you you could do like a ghost themed cocktail oh my god why are your friends not down for this because well it's everyone's in a bit of a weird well not everyone's in a weird predicament with their exes but like not everybody has like a proper ex or whatever and there's loads of different reasons that everyone was going into but i was like guys like everyone's day is someone that we can all do a cocktail themed off yeah it's not actually that deep yeah and as long as we don't post it anywhere so no one knows like we can just do it for ourself so i think i have oh i feel like you've got to

thinking of inviting myself yeah if you want to come you can come you have to get really creative with it I feel like and not just do like the obvious ones like toxic or like ghosting or like cheating but like nothing like that happened in my my my last relationship is like how it ended is probably like boring so you'd probably have you'd probably have to think of something that like you told just your friends about him that gave you the ick or like something that they'd get or that is like an inside joke yeah sure okay because that's what the route i was thinking i was gonna have to go down if like when i do it yeah but um but yeah i think that's a really fun idea for those of you oh my god you have to do that for those of you having galentine's night you gotta do that because i feel like i would piss myself every time someone walked in with a new cocktail be like oh my god that is so accurate like yeah so yeah that's just so good

wow i love that but yeah that's gonna be my galentine's night guys making uh cocktails themed by our exes i am very jealous if i could get all of my friends together i'd be making sure we did that it's fun isn't it but even if you're not on like Galentine's, you could just do it anyway for like a night. Like if I walked into a room and someone had done that, like I be so overwhelmed that like yeah they'd put the time and effort into that and like kept it managed to keep it all as a prize from me i think that just would be enough yeah because it's not like just booking a dinner it doesn't really require effort yeah like they've actually done something like for you i would i would love that my brothers do that for their girlfriends everywhere i'm fiance yeah every year like the things that my brothers do that for their girlfriends every well I'm fiance yeah every year like the things that Casey's done for Nicole is goals like I need to start send I hope he starts reposing the last few valentines so I can send it to my boyfriend to give him a hint I remember the whole proposal oh yeah that that was like he is an incredible

the Maldives and oh jealous I was like I we were like sending loads of hotels like back and forth and I was like oh my god wow to this one that had like rose peters all over the bed and he was like yeah but like how do they do that I was like they just called the hotel and get the hotel to do it and he was like what that's the thing i was like yes he was like i never knew that i thought they'd have to like bring the petals himself and i'm like what and he's like well i've never really had a girlfriend before so how would i know that you just pay extra right yeah or short yeah i was gonna say to be honest i've never thought about it either but yeah i just obviously assumed that they would call the hotel in like in advance my boyfriend's thinking he's have to bring the rose petals himself to be able to imagine packing half the

suitcase of like 100 tea lights and like thousands of rose petals i know literally but i love how you picked that one with that just a subtly hint just a subtly hint yeah so like sometimes with a boyfriend you do just have to subtle hint if they don't get it but it's actually to be fair when they haven't had like a girlfriend before how really would they know oh 100% like we wouldn't unless you don't have sisters like yeah like I've only seen all of like what I've seen because of like social media like around this time of like I can't fucking escape it because my for you page on TikTok is just people being asked to be their valentine or selling their boyfriends yeah so are you gonna make that TikTok no I'm not gonna make that TikTok because my boyfriend's not here so I've got given the benefit of the doubt he did send me the cutest thing on Instagram well

it's only literally saying you can share asking someone to be a valentine but it was the cutest thing ever so he still kind of has asked you to be his valentine then well yeah yeah actually because I was like oh my god this is the cutest thing he's like well you haven't said yes but what I just thought that was obvious but like yeah he can't really ask me can he let's be honest what he could he could send flowers or a postcard still not the postcard postcard still isn't here the fucking postcard or the letter oh my god the postcard is still not here that would have been like your version of like the rose petals falling down from the car like you could have had rose petals pouring out of the envelope yep with the be my valentine but it's okay because you've still been asked in one of the best ways that

you probably could have done it yeah that's so at least your boyfriend's not up to sale like we've all given the benefit of the doubt he's also extremely busy and probably not thinking about valentine's day probably the last thing on his mind exactly exactly well because me and you are going to be having galentine's this year then or what wait what are you actually going to do on valentine's day do you have any genuinely i have no plans okay no plans what but essentially though it is just another day and you could just use that evening or that day or whatever just to have a you evening do you know what babe i'm gonna do exactly that i think that would be lovely yeah well to be fair one of my one of my best friends have actually split with their boyfriend and I feel like I'm probably going to be consoling her on valentine's day I'm not gonna

lie yeah I feel like so I do actually think that will be my plan for valentine's day if I'm being completely honest yeah but that's that's you being a very good best friend so I feel like this day especially if you've just gone through a breakup must be rough awful awful like so fresh and you just don't need to see everybody posting how in love they are on social media and it's hard seeing it when you're single anyways yeah let alone like going through a breakup that would yeah actually be awful yeah 100 because like i'm i am very happy single but around valentine's day that's the only time i sit there and think oh oh, fucking hell. Because I can't escape it. Like, it's everywhere.

And I just think, oh, God, it would be nice. But yeah, I feel like if we'd just gone through a breakup around this time, not good. So I feel like that's lovely. I think a good way to look at it, though, is like, honestly, I think half the people are making such a big deal at Valentine's Day purely for social media. If social media wasn't a thing, like, people would not be putting as much effort in yeah of course there are the some boys

that are like absolute angels but realistically most of the people even with the like asking my girlfriend to be the valentine only because they know that they can share it yeah 100% but that's like the conversation we were having last podcast episode a couple of podcast episodes ago we were saying that like a lot of relationships aren't how they seem online and i guess that is a lot that alludes into valentine's day as well because you will just see the craziest shit and it's like oh you just do it i don't know is it just being done for social media like it's just i think if you're seeing it and it's not on valentine's day then they probably aren't doing it for social media you know because like if they're just wanting to do that on a random day,

I think that requires a lot of effort. But I don't know. I think that's the way I would look at it if I was single on Valentine's Day. I'd be thinking to myself, you know what? Maybe it's all just for social media. They don't really love each other.

But they don't really love each other. A bit of empowerment. I tell you what, I know on galentine's day i will be watching love island that is one thing i will be doing yeah i will not be missing that best season yet guys i'm hooked like oh my god i can't even when i was how much i want molly and callum to be together it's ridiculous oh it's i really thought as well there was after the pdas i thought there was a chance

happen and it's been so nice but the other day I got a night by myself and I'd never been so excited like but even just to like just clean my I don't know just like yeah just have my own space sometimes it's so nice and I did I had a bath and did exactly everything you said and it was just so nice however I do think that'd be nice on Valentine's Day but am I gonna like even taking yourself I don't know does the cinema double in price on Valentine's Day probably probably I do like a little solo cinema date though i've done that i also don't know if would i want to do that on valentine's day next to all the couples probably not probably i probably opt for going to your home cinema i think that's what i do yeah or cook yourself dinner and when you

valentine's day yeah this was about four years ago maybe three but i want to say four and i was i'd met him at a festival i'd met him at park life and we got along so well i'd been to his house he'd been to mine like we were seeing that we but when majority of the time we'd meet up in london i think you do know who this is i've definitely you will know who it is if i send you a picture but yeah i was seeing him for i don't know how long actually and then we had valentine's plans he was going to come up he was going to come stay with me and he was just being really off for like a couple of days ended it with me on valentine's and then found out he had a girlfriend what but his excuse to me was weird on valentine's day on valentine's yeah and it was

even worse it was heightened because everybody else was was buying stuff for like their boyfriends and girlfriends or all my friends because everyone was in relationships at this point. And I'd just been like finished with. And I was like, this is the worst Valentine's of my life. Like, I mean, I didn't like, I wasn't in love with the boy. I was just speaking to him, but still like it wasn't an ideal day for that to happen.

But like what even was his reason? Like what can you actually say that's going to justify those actions? valentine's day so like you know for people listening that single it's probably it's easy for you to say because you're in a relationship but I still am spending Valentine's Day by myself um and so yeah I think it's just I don't know turning it into a positive and just yeah doing the things that you love for yourself and also just remembering that really it's just another day a hundred percent and like obviously Valentine's Day is predominantly to celebrate a relationship but it can also be a day to celebrate how much you love your family how much you love your friends it can just be used as another day just to show people how much you love them doesn't matter if you're in a romantic relationship with them or not like i think yeah i think that's really like i don't

know just to be like a little bit extra extra nice to everyone that day and like i said like i love having valentine's i mean to me it's just another excuse to celebrate with all my friends or like go out and have a drink and like have fun but just make it x themed for us this year for some entertainment as well for some entertainment i feel like that is i'm genuinely so excited just because the entertainment purposes of it and i also can't wait to get very drunk off the cocktails do you think people will go out on valentine's day well like out clubbing yeah like is that a thing i don't think you know what i really don't know what valentine's day is on a when is it on a wednesday this year i thought it was a tuesday i don't know i think no it is a wednesday is it a wednesday so like to me a wednesday would be like because people have work
