What's up lovers and friends and welcome back to another episode of Sex Love and What
else Matters.
I was still a little sick for a film better and we have guests today.
She's been on here one time but it was way too long ago and I need her on her old time.
And it's my bestie and you know her and you love her, Brittany Cartwright.
Hi, thanks for having me guys.
Thanks for popping on over, girlfriend.
Thank you.
We're so stoked.
Super stoked.
I'm so glad.
I mean, we're so close and I feel like we almost never see each other.
I know.
Well, you guys have been traveling a lot.
Fair.
And then I was in Kentucky a lot and
Jack's has been traveling like going everywhere for house of villains too
So we have been just like crazy and you have a bar. Yeah
I would say it's better to be busy than board. Yeah, very true
I know pretty you should get a couple more hobbies or something
Oh my gosh, yeah, you are so busy right now.
It's wild.
And our favorite time of year is coming up.
Woo!
Do you like Halloween better than Christmas?
Oh no, I love Christmas.
I love Halloween too, obviously,
but Halloween is just like my warm-up for Christmas.
That's true.
But I also love Thanksgiving.
I mean, you guys know I love doing that Thanksgiving dinner
every year.
So are we doing Thanksgiving at your house again?
Yeah, okay, good.
Yeah, I just figured you all knew that.
I figured it too.
But I was like, I don't know what it's like randomly.
You guys are like, actually, we're going to Kentucky.
Oh, no, no, no.
But we're gonna go to Kentucky for Christmas.
Okay, so still do the whole thing,
getting out of the decorations tomorrow.
I was about to ask you.
So what would I like for me, you casually say, getting the Christmas decorations out tomorrow?
I would like you to paint a picture for our listeners and tell them what that day looks like.
Like you wake up and explain that day because that's not just like grab the couple boxes out of
the closet
and put your tree up and you like hang some stockings.
No, it's a whole thing.
An event.
Jack's wakes up, he's already said he's going to wake up at 7.30 tomorrow, so I'll just
wake up when the baby wakes up and he's going to go to U-Haul, get a truck, then he gets
to go to the storage unit, go through all the boxes there, pull out all the
Christmas stuff and load up a whole U-Haul to bring it over to my house.
How many bins boxes, how many do you think that you have?
It fills up a whole U-Haul.
Sometimes I have to put stuff in the box to A-N-D.
I'm changing my theme for my main tree this year.
I'm not really changing it. I've been doing the candy cane red and white stripes and stuff.
Lightly for the big tree.
So now I'm just adding gingerbread to it.
So it's like gingerbread thing this year.
That's fun.
It also looks like cool.
But let's explain why you have a storage unit.
Because of my decorations.
Yes.
It's not just like you guys have this big house and and you have like you have like an extra like shed,
you have garage, and it's not as if you needed
that storage unit just because you have more stuff.
You needed it because of your decorations.
And because our boxes that we put in the storage unit,
like they fit Christmas trees, so they're so big,
like we have too many.
It's kind of ridiculous, but I love it.
And I'm just like all about those family traditions
and doing those starting things. And like I think crews will grow up just like love in the holidays, but I love it. And I'm just like all about those family traditions and doing those certain things.
And like I think Cruz will grow up just like love
in the holidays like I do.
And that means a lot to me.
That's fantastic.
I love that.
It does a jackknit a hand tomorrow.
Maybe.
Exactly.
We're probably helping a lot.
Yeah, all taxing after this.
Yeah.
I'm like, oh, I need to do my knees.
I want something to do.
OK, if you want to help him, that would be amazing
because it's a lot.
And it's a lot of lifting and stuff.
I don't know how he does it by himself,
but he does sometimes.
Okay, Jack's comes, brings the U-Haul, has all the stuff.
How long does it take you to unpack all the boxes?
It takes me, it takes me a couple of days.
At least a couple of days, at least two or three days.
It depends on if I let my like ADD,
because it's like, it's like, make me procrastinate or something.
Because sometimes I'll like walk in circles like over thinking like,
what am I gonna do? Is it gonna look right there? Is it gonna look right there?
I'm such an overthinker. But it just depends on that.
But yeah, it's like a three day process.
And Jack's the whole time was like, get the boxes out.
But I won't let him like touch anything. I won't let him put anything up.
He gets to help me with the trees. It's kind of like my Zen moment, you know? But I won't let him touch anything. I won't let him put anything up.
He gets to help me with the trees.
It's kind of like my zen moment, you know?
Yeah, it really is.
Yeah, I love it.
It's a stress reliever for me.
It's something I really enjoy.
And for you, it's like as much thought as you put into it,
it's also almost mindless.
I just love it.
You just, it's like you're on autopilot.
Like you put your music on, you let your bathroom body
work Christmas candles, gets you in the mood,
and it's just like in the freaking zone.
It's like the only time you really stay up
until like all hours of the night.
Oh yeah.
For sure.
Like an early to bed girl.
Well now that I have crews,
right before I was like, I'd never sleep.
But now that I have crews,
I'm just kind of like on his schedule,
because you never know when he's going to wake up.
Yeah, like you guys, I actually really love it because I've been doing this early
bad thing and I'm not drinking right now and I'm not vaping.
I'm not fine because you, as you know, we're trying to be pregnant.
But I actually am really enjoying this like go to bed early wake up early
thing. Like don't ever feel like shit.
Blah, blah, blah.
But with you, what I love is that even as a mom and a wife and like
you're grown up and you're adulting and shit, you are you have the hope that you have the
optimism that you can stay up late still. I don't know where you were going with that.
And then you were like that you can stay up late still so. You can stay up late, so. Like, I prefer just coming over your house
when you know, and us having drinks and all of that,
rather than going out, or like we go to dinner
and then we go back to your house,
that we check, but like not, you're always so...
You're always so, karaoke.
Yeah, but you're always so optimistic,
you're like, we're gonna play games,
and we're staying up to like late tonight,
cruise to sleep in, and then it's like 11.0.2 pm,
and Brittany's like, guys, I'm so sorry.
Or it's like in the early year,
and she's like, I'm just gonna cruise to bed.
I really don't know, my God.
And I'll be right back down,
and we're like, how long has it been, 30 minutes?
She's sleeping out.
She's sleeping out.
I really have done the Irish dip out
and go to sleep thing.
Yeah, look, I haven't been around that long, but I have definitely seen that.
I've been there when that happens.
I don't blame you at all because I've done that in my own house before, same as you.
Yeah, I'm like, Jackson's down there.
That counts for both of us right now.
Yeah, exactly.
I don't really have three dogs in us, and I'm tired.
I don't feel like going out or I don't feel like staying up.
You have a child. you have like a human being
and dogs to look after.
So I get, I have two children.
Yeah, two boys.
Two boys.
I tell Jack that all the time.
I'm like, I have two kids, like let's be real.
You totally do.
So speaking of kids, well, I can't believe
it curves the toddler.
I wanna know even though I'm around you, but I want the listeners to know what I really want to ask, just as a
mom, right? So you were a first time mom two and a half years ago. You guys have obviously
publicly talked about like you want to have another kid, you're trying to get pregnant
somewhat soon. How is that going to be different for you? Oh gosh, it's going to be different
because I'm going to have crews running around.
Oh yeah.
So you know, like I was just thinking like,
oh, you know what it's like to be a mom now.
You know what it's like to be pregnant,
but I was even thinking like,
now you have a toddler running around too.
Oh yeah, like you're gonna have to watch out for everything.
He's doing at the same time as taking care of a newborn,
but I will say I've learned so much about the newborn stage
and I like over bought so much stuff. I stage and I like overbought so much stuff.
I mean, you guys, you saw how much stuff I had.
I bought like every single thing you could possibly.
Like I was super nested.
But like, but I learned like some things
that I didn't necessarily have to do.
That's really gonna be helpful for my second time.
I know more about delivery.
I know more about postpartum.
Like I've learned so much about my own body even.
Yeah.
You know, so I feel like that'll be different.
That'll be like a lot of like things that will help me
with the next one.
And also just, I think it'll be awesome to see
crews have a sibling.
First of all, that'll be very different too,
but it'll just be like amazing.
Yeah, absolutely.
I can't, I'm a post only having one child.
Same.
I think a sibling is so important, you know Same. I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think, I think,
I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, I age, that's the only reason I'm like, we gotta get it going now! Because Cruz will be three in April,
so I don't want them to have too much of age gap,
but I definitely want more than one.
I always thought I wanted three kids,
but now that I have one,
even though Cruz is honestly the best behaved kid ever.
He's so, so chill, so independent, easy.
So the next one's probably gonna come out actually just like Jack Taylor.
Totally.
So that might be something different.
Yeah, so you're gonna get a girl who like is
sassy and rebellious and wants to act up
because you have the boy who's an angel like you.
Or for an Megan that you know as well,
our trainer, she was just in town recently
staying with me and she said,
if you guys have a girl,
I'm gonna be scared of her.
Can you imagine a female version of Jackson?
No, she would be very scary.
Yeah.
But definitely a little cute pass.
Oh, for sure.
For sure.
She still has you.
Oh, yeah.
At least half, you know what I mean?
I don't think you have anything to worry about there.
No.
Family, friends, and Lumi, whole body deodorant.
These are the things I'm thankful for this year.
Why?
Well, because Lumi is a deodorant like no other,
it was created by an OBGYN who discovered BIO
isn't just an underarm thing.
It's an all over thing, as we know.
So she developed a pH-optimized deodorant that's clinically proven to block odor everywhere, not just your pits, but
your private's feet and beyond. The best part? No matter where you use it, Loomy is proven
to keep working for up to 72 hours. If three days of odor control isn't something to be
thankful for, I don't know what is. Special offer? New customers get $5 off Loomy's
starter pack with our exclusive code and link. And for a limited time, returning customers can get $5 off their next purchase of $30

I'm talking pits, under boobs, thigh folds, belly buttons, butt cracks, volas, and even your
feet.
Trust me, you need
it for under the boobs. Loomy was created by an OBGYN who saw first hand how normal Biot was
being misdiagnosed and mistreated. Loomy is baking soda free and paraben free. pH balance for safe
use below the belt, improving to control odor better than a shower with soap alone. What I personally
like most about Loomy is that I can use it anywhere. Loomy is helpful for all the stinky spots that you forget about, plus they come in so
many delicious scents.

I think on the topic of jacks and everything, I know that TV portrays jacks in a certain
way and it's like you get pigeonholed into a certain thing, a certain like part of your personality.
I personally have gotten to know Jacks better
and know that he's obviously a lot more dynamic
and a different person than what you see on TV.
What's your favorite thing about Jacks?
Like what's the best thing about him being your partner in life?
Oh, I love that.
We laugh together.
He's definitely my best friend.
Like he can drive me crazy, of course.
But he is literally my best friend.
He makes me laugh
more than anything in the entire world. And I think that we just have so much fun and life together.
And I think that's so important in a relationship is like having a good time together and still enjoying
each other's time. So that's probably one of my very favorite things. It's just like how much fun
and how much laughter that we do on a daily basis. Yeah, because you guys have so much in common and you grow, I don't know, it's like,
I feel like knowing you as friends,
you always gravitated toward the same type of movies, comedy,
like that kind of stuff, right?
For sure.
But I think even now you've like,
you guys are each other's lobster, you know?
It's just like who you guys are as a couple,
like I could name, like I could write like a list of things,
I know you both love.
Oh, for sure. Yeah, we have a lot of things. I know you both love. Oh, for sure.
Yeah, we have a lot of things that we love in comma,
but we also have so many differences.
And I think that's another reason why we can work
for eight years now.
Yeah, I got eight years.
I know.
Isn't that crazy?
That is insane.
I know.
Oh my gosh.
I remember the first time you were ever on Van Opom,
rules you were wearing that cute little romper.
That little lace thing.
Oh my God, it's so cute.
And Lisa, Vanderpump said something about,
she's wearing her knickers or something.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Which season is that?
Four.
I came in on four.
Okay.
Yeah, we got a ways to go.
We got a ways to go.
I'm going to look like so.
Like I was like the size of my pinky.
Like it was so crazy how small I was.
I looked for fire boobs too.
Oh yeah, for sure, but I looked like the littlest baby
whenever I watched it back.
Steve, when Luke and I watch,
we're on season two right now and I'm like,
wow, I was so little.
I was like a little toothpick,
but I looked old though, I looked like quite dirty.
Yeah, I think you look better now.
Honestly, we're always beautiful,
but wherever I watch it back, I was like, I think Chris, I think you look better now. Honestly, you were always beautiful, but wherever I wash it back,
I was like, I think Chris is just getting better with AIDS.
Yeah, see that starvation, not hot.
That's right.
Healthy, hot.
That's right.
Chris, and you're like a fine wine.
That's true.
Thanks, Bill.
Get better and more valuable.
I do anything for fucking glass of wine right now,
but stick into my guns.
So obviously, even Jackson talked about the new baby,
and when you guys are ready to do that soon, blah, blah, blah,
is he so excited?
Does he say, I want a boy or I want a girl or is it like,
do you guys both like, we just want whatever's healthy?
I would love to have a girl if I'm being 100% honest,
because obviously you'll love it.
No matter what.
But for sure, I don't carry their way. Like, yeah. Of course, if I have a girl if I'm being like 100% honest because I do have a boyfriend. No matter what. But for sure, I don't carry their weight.
Like, yeah.
Of course, if I have a girl,
I'd be so happy.
But I would never, like, some people get like
gender disappointment.
It's like a real thing.
I've seen them do that.
I would never do that.
To talk and stuff.
Yeah, it's true.
I could see if you have like four kids already.
They're all the same.
And like the fifth one, you're like,
this one, you know, four girls.
And I guess one's gonna be my boy. Yeah. And it's another one, you're like, this one, the four girls, and this one's gonna be my boy.
And it's another girl, they're like,
God.
Yeah.
But no matter what, even those parents,
I'm sure just love, you know, or so happy.
Totally.
After the fact, of course.
But yeah, I think it would be awesome to have a little girl,
but it would be so cute for Cruz to have a little brother, too.
I mean, could you imagine, just two little boys running around?
A little blonde and a little boy.
So if you guys were to have a boy,
do you think you would try for a third?
Or do you don't know?
I don't know.
I think that I'll just see how it goes.
Yeah.
Because it's kind of like, I always thought I wanted three,
but now that I have two, it's just like,
we get very busy at certain times, as you guys know,
like how things are with things that we do.
You never know when you're going to be like,
so busy and then, so, you know, I don't have family here.
So if I have like three or four kids, that's just a lot, you know.
You're leading perfectly right?
I know.
It's literally like, good job Brittany,
because I wanted to ask you about that.
This is stuff, Luke and I, especially lately,
have been talking about a lot.
So I just gotta say,
Kristen and I had a couple therapy session yesterday and this is just
to...
Did we call it couple's therapy or is it like pre-marital counseling or pre-family planning
counseling?
I think according to Alan, we can call it whatever we want.
But that's essentially what it is.
It's like, hey, these are the things you need to talk about.
You want me there for a safe space to break the ice, to talk about these important things that may be difficult
at certain times.
Yeah, I'm glad you guys are doing that. That's awesome.
I think it's great. I really do. Totally.
To get ahead on it.
Yeah, it's like stuff I don't even know to ask. I don't have a husband or a kid right now.
So like, I don't know what to ask about it. I think that's great. Yeah. Okay, but go ahead.
So I've got a couple of questions, but one is like how often do you, at this point living in California,
your family's in Kentucky,
Jack's is in Michigan, how often do you and Cruz
get to see family?
I try to take Cruz to Kentucky as often as I possibly can.
I think I've already been like four times this year
and then I go back for Christmas.
So that's something I like try to make sure happens.
I want to make sure he's around family. We try to go to Michigan at least once a year as well,
if not more, depending on what's going on, but we always want to see his sister, Ginny.
And then they always come to stay with us probably twice a year. They normally come for
cruise's birthday and stay with us. And then my mom got to be here all the whole month of August,
this year and last year. So my mom went to just here all the whole month of August this year and last
year.
So my mom went to just retire and come be my nanny.
So that's awesome.
Maybe one day.
Yeah.
I was going to say I've seen your mom so many times.
Yeah.
That's so fantastic.
I love that for you.
Oh, we're so close.
We're so close.
I love my mom, but I definitely miss them.
Maybe one day we'll move it to Kentucky again, but now we have a bar.
We have a whole business like it wouldn't be anytime soon
Right. Yeah, I understand I understand that for sure
So obviously it's very important to you. Oh, yeah to have family involved and raising kids
So as more kids go or more kids come not go
Like does that you think that's gonna like push you?
I mean make like the travel more difficult with multiple kids to go that far and everything.
It's already so cruise you know is too now so you have to buy them their own
seat ticket.
That's two years old.
Yeah.
So I already have to buy for three tickets every time we travel.
So I don't think of all these parents have to have like five kids like travel
in somewhere.
I mean that is just so expensive.
Oh my gosh.
But yeah, it would make things harder because it would be way more expensive. And it's just,
you know, but I also think you get into your routines and like the learn, your kids will
learn how to travel and stuff with you.
Right.
The more you do it, obviously.
Yeah.
Cruises so good on the plane.
Like, the people will come up to me, like, he's so good. I'm like, it's like my big,
my best compliment.
I'm like, thank you.
Thank you. Because normally, thank you, thank you.
Because normally, I mean, kids could sit there
and just cry the entire time.
And I get it.
It's pretty worth real fed.
I mean, I get it.
They're stuck in the seat for six hours.
Yeah, I mean, I want to cry sometime.
You do?
I just know I'm not allowed to.
We saw this, just like a side thing.
This thing on Instagram the other day.
And it was this little girl, maybe like four years old
or something in her back seat,
and she's just crying to her mom,
and her mom's taping her, and she's like,
I don't wanna be coming at adults.
I wanna be a kid forever.
I don't wanna be an adult, her mom's like,
I know, I get it, we neither.
And she's like, I don't even wanna be a teenager,
I just wanna stay a kid.
It's not fair, and her mom's like,
I wanna cry too. That is so. Like, it's not fair. Her mom's like, I want to cry too.
That is so cute because it's so true.
It's so funny because her mom also asks her,
she says, why don't you want to be an adult?
She's because it's not fun.
It's not fun.
It's not fun to be an adult.
Yeah, the actual responsibility is now.
It's crazy.
I know.
But so many plus sides too.
Oh, for sure. You know, so what many plus sides too. Oh for sure.
You know.
So what do you guys, have you guys talked about like, do you want to start trying?
Oh yeah, we have been for a couple of months already.
Oh.
Yeah, it's just been, not happened for us yet, but you know, fingers crossed.
How, did you guys have to, I know when you conceived Kruz.
Yeah.
I was there right before he.
He likes to say it took us two months.
I like to say it took us like five months.
But that's just because we were hit in random days sometimes.
Yeah.
On your ovulation schedules, you guys know what I'm talking about.
Oh, totally.
Yeah, but the day the two that we hit it on,
I got pregnant the second time.
I know.
I was like yet to any of my girlfriends now that I'm like asking this more,
because I'm now in a relationship where I'm serious
and I'm focusing on these things.
But I've yet, out of all her girlfriends,
to find a friend that's like,
oh, it wasn't like scheduling really or anything.
We just had sex whenever, and if it happened
to fall on ovulation, it did.
Everyone's like, no, we still have sex like normally,
but like, yeah, when it's time, it's time.
It's like, let's go.
Right now, hurry up, get it done.
For sure.
It's not very sexy sometimes.
So whenever we can save crews, it was like,
now we gotta do it right now before the Airbnb
cleaners get here.
So literally, you gotta pregnant with crews that way.
That's so funny. On vacation to Luke in Lexington, Kentucky.
In Luke is a Kentucky boy that will probably conceive not in California.
Just like May, my kid in your house, Colorado or like somewhere else, but like he's
like not in California. He's like because you're too stressed here and it needs to be
when you're like relaxed and not thinking about things like having a good time,
which you being back home.
Yeah, I was like, I was like, I was just,
I was like, I was just, we were like,
having a free little fun time.
That was interesting.
Do we need to take a, like, a couple's vacation,
this weather?
I'm down for vacation anytime, always.
Maybe we can all get pregnant.
Yeah.
Yeah. I'm down. A real baby moon. Oh,
my God. That'd be great. Did you take a baby moon? Did I? Do people always take baby
moons? I mean, I feel like it's like a gender reveal. Like they just keep adding something
else to. I would just think it's a good idea. I think I would. I think it's a great idea to go on a trip before you give birth
because it's your last time just being together, just the two of you.
So I think it's a wonderful idea.
Yeah.
And I think I did.
Why can't I not remember right now?
All of the worst memory in the world, which is not great for podcasts sometimes.
I do too sometimes, don't you worry.
Well, one time we had me in law, I was in our law law, I was still with Ray and all
we were all pregnant, we said it.
That really, really nice resort that has like the train that runs through it is really
popular.
That's why I'm looking at you.
Where is it at?
Why can't I not thank you the name?
Like in LA.
I think Palm Springs.
It's like a couple hours away, really fancy, fancy.
I can't think.
Newport or Balbo or whatever. Santa Barbara. So look, we're good on. So look, come on, we're good at being fancy. We're good at being fancy. I can't think.
Newport or Balbo or.
Santa Barbara, month to Santa Barbara.
Santa Barbara.
Yes.
But I can't make it what it was.
We're like Oprah and Ellen.
Oh, yeah, I was like fancy.
It was very expensive.
It's very expensive.
Oh, Delphine Terry, Meghan Markle, live up that way as well.
Oh, yeah, the rich people.
So I don't know all the details about traveling
when you're pregnant and
the trimesters and everything. So when you do a baby moon is it ideally like toward the
end of your second trimester? Do you know Brittany?
Um, I can't remember the exact dates, but I know that you can't like travel past like
six or seven months. I think it might be seven months. So that would be like the sweet
spot like four or five months to go. Okay.
And don't quote, I mean, maybe we should Google,
because I don't want people to be like,
Ricky said I could travel.
It's like, but, because I don't know, I can't really remember.
Listen, people, if you're going off of a podcast,
then ask your, please ask your OB.
Yes, seriously.
I'm not giving a marital or pregnancy advice on here.
We do not have our PhDs yet.
You can fly domestically until about 36 weeks of pregnancy.
Your OB-GYN can provide proof of your due date if you need it.
Oh wow.
Okay, so just until the last month, then that is eight months.
Yeah.
Wow.
Okay.
Really, like, people always say that you're pregnant for nine months,
you're pregnant for basically 10 months. Okay. Here's the caveat to that
Luke's eyes just got a real life. Okay, wait tell us Dr. Luke
This is the most confusing thing I've ever heard are you talking about period dates?
Sort of I mean that's when they say you're they start saying it's book the which is weird that they do that
But like still your body is technically still pregnant more than non-muts.
Yeah, because I'm reading this book called,
It Starts With The Egg.
And we're Googling lots of things, obviously.
But yeah, we were like looking at it,
like, you know, like the equals MC squared,
like written all over above our head and on our face,
like all the weird elements and the plus and the subtraction
side, like we're so confused.
And we're like, so technically you're pregnant
before you have sex.
That's what I said.
That's what I'm saying.
The part that doesn't make any sense to me.
That's what I'm reading here.
It's like they consider the start of pregnancy
when your period ends or starts.
Uh, since.
When your period starts,
the first day of your last period.
So technically,
ovulation is like 12 to 15 days after your period starts.
I know that part.
You learned so much.
I'm like, did you hear me go again?
Did you know this stuff before we dated?
No.
Wow.
I'm special.
Girl.
Hope you think you're special.
Of course I do, but I don't know.
Maybe you just like know stuff.
I've never tried to have a child with anybody. Never tried to be a baby daddy. Ooh. I've't know. I don't know. Maybe you just like no stuff. I've never tried to have a child with anybody.
Never tried to be a baby daddy.
I've never, no.
I was actually the master of the pullout.
So long.
And Dr. Brittany is looking at her.
Well, I was just reading how long you're pregnant.
Well, because you're pregnant for 37 to 42 weeks.
So I was like trying it.
And then in my head, I'm over here like divided by.
I've been here like divided by
Still it is it is a long time, but it is the best thing that you'll ever experience and I can't wait for you to experience it one day Did you enjoy okay?
Let's take away the fact that you were puking your brains out every single day. I was so sick
But I loved it that yeah, did you enjoy it? Oh my gosh, I absolutely loved it.
It was, especially like filling him move and stuff at nighttime, especially like I felt
like every time the office theme song came off.
He went, kick, I swear, I'm not even kidding.
Oh yeah, what's gonna be your like go to, are you still gonna be like the office when
you're pregnant next time, or are you gonna find like, that's Cruz's show?
Are you gonna find like a new show that,
because you were doing friends for so long
and now you've been on the office kick for years.
Yeah, it's like, well,
friends is still on sometimes,
but offices kind of became our background.
Like, me and Jacks are definitely like noise people.
We wanna have a TV,
you're something going constantly.
I hate the silence,
grew up in a haunted house,
so I don't like that crap.
Do you think that's why?
Oh, 100% think that's why.
I had to sleep with my TV on and everything.
And I did not grow up in a haunted house,
but silence is deafening.
Like I hear, I hate it.
And even my dogs don't like it.
Because Gibson hears a little tick on the floor
or like a little whatever and he loses it.
I understand that from your perspective.
Yeah.
Because Gibson does just lose his shit with the little sound.
But so do I, because I'm like, what was that?
Yeah, it's very outside.
Is that the window?
Oh, sorry, Luke.
I was going to say, I did grow up in a haunted house.
I did?
I have stories.
Two out of three.
Dang, I told you these stories.
No, I think what people think I'm crazy.
Just I wouldn't want to hear it.
Luke, Jacks doesn't believe me. It's not that he doesn't believe me, but like he people think I'm crazy. Jack, I wouldn't want to hear it. Luke, Jack's doesn't believe me.
It's not that he doesn't believe me,
but he knows all my ghost stories
and what I went through growing up.
And he's still, we'll be like, I don't believe in ghosts.
And I'm like, I'm telling you to your freaking face
that I forgot.
I forget.
Does Jack's likes scary movies are afraid of them?
He'll only watch them with me going up to Halloween.
So the whole month of October, I'm like,
oh no, this is the only month of October.
The stalling with the Halloween.
So we have to watch scary movies right now.
Also, that's the only time I can get into.
Otherwise, it's like I'm on my own.
Okay.
It's because he doesn't like, because they're scary.
He doesn't like scary, like he doesn't like
like the scary factor, the jump, yeah that.
He would like like a true, no story or something.
I'm the same way.
Yeah, I like thrill.
I'm always like, babe, find a thriller.
We tried to watch a scary movie the other night.
We watched a trailer.
I don't remember what it was, but I was like, uh, uh, uh,
nope.
I love it.
I love it.
That was Kristen Wondawatt.
Thought she wanted to watch in Sidious, and I'm like,
you're in pain.
I do not want to watch that.
I love scary movies.
I can watch the scariest of the scary.
You bring, bring whatever and
So we watched a trailer and I just looked at him the whole entire time and he's like you can't not watch it
There's no one watching scary part Chris. It is the grabbyest person to watch any movie with anyway
So to have my heart at scary movie. I can only imagine but he's not like seeing a movie theater
She like grabs on your arms every time to have my heart and scary movie, I can only imagine. But he is not like seeing a movie theater.
She like raps on your arms every time.
And I look at you, I'm like, are you,
are you feeling what I'm feeling?
She's trying to like, for watching the same movie, Kristen,
look at the fucking screen.
She's like staring at me like, I'm like, look at the movie.
So speaking of that, we've got no movie in so long.
We've been talking about that.
I haven't either heart like at all.
That would be a fun like double date we should do,
because I've not been to the movies.
Well, I think I went to see Little Mermaid that was last time.
But before that, it was before COVID even.
I mean, a long time.
Yeah.
We could have.
You know our kicks.
We went to add that to another thing.
We got invited to a red carpet for Cruz
and it was his first little red carpet he did.
Forget the night of the movie.
It was like Kung Fu Panda movie or something like that.
That we did it paramount.
Oh, that's so cute.
And he did really good in it.
He sat through the home movie.
He did, but it was kind of starting to get light.
So we left at like 730.
Oh, yeah.
So I could, oh my god, did still for that long for a long time.
He did great though.
Yeah, that's amazing.
Well, if you can't sit still that long,
when we have a child, I'll take him.
I think kids are a lot more patient than I am sometimes.
Let's be real.
I guess.
No, I guess that's funny.
They could go both ways.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's fair.
They're very much good.
Sometimes your patience is 0.1 seconds.
Well, so real quick, that's true.
Back to Christmas though, because I was also thinking, wow, it'll be Cruises,
I know it's a second Christmas,
but like, here's a baby.
So now he's really gonna enjoy it,
and do you think understand?
Maybe not understand, like,
Santa and all that, yeah, this is only two.
Oh, he definitely is getting excited.
Like he, like, like, open,
like whenever I get Amazon box and everything.
He's like, what's in there for me?
So he's definitely excited about that.
We're gonna get Elf on the shelf this year
and start like trying to like have him find it every morning
when we come downstairs.
So I think that he's definitely gonna enjoy it more
and more, it just gets more and more fun every single year.
Like it's seriously the cutest stage ever right now.
I mean, everything he does is the cutest thing
I've ever seen in my life.
And I'm not even kidding. I was like, I'm kidding.
I'm like, do you see the way that he's staring right now?
Yeah, everything he does.
Look at the baby, look at the baby.
Oh man, Kristen's already like, look at the dog, look at the dog,
look at the dog.
I know, it's just giving him a human.
And I won't talk about the dogs, I mean,
I believe that.
But I totally agree, but my niece and nephew,
when any time I get to see them, they've grown quite a bit agree, but my niece and nephew, anytime I get to see them,
they've grown quite a bit now, but when they were younger,
I would just be like, oh my goodness,
these kids are amazing.
Yes, so much fun, right?
I love little kids.
I love little kids.
And look at their excitement for everything,
is like, I think that's why I get along with kids so much,
is because I'm kinda like that.
Yeah, you do have a child excitement and wonder
about the world and you have an appreciation
for beautiful things.
Oh, thank you.
And appreciation for aesthetic.
And I see that.
It's like, kids are awesome.
Yeah, kids don't worry about,
they don't overthink about things.
They always talk about a child's imagination
or a child's wonder.
And also, just a child's pure happiness about things
because they're not thinking like what if that person doesn't like me or what
if I'm doing this wrong or what if I'm my outfit's wrong they're just like
this is what I want to wear this is what how I'm gonna talk this these are the
toys I like not because of what anyone else thinks let's kind of be a little
more child it's super cute that's why Disney so amazing oh heck yeah I love
Disney we haven't gone to Disney yet we've been to's why Disney's so amazing. Oh heck yeah. I love Disney. We haven't gone to Disney yet. We've
been to Universal but Disney's not really with you. I love it. Wait till we have kids and I'll do
Disney. Okay. It's so hot. It is a lot but if you go, we know what days ago,
works isn't pastholders over here. So we know what days ago on that it's not gonna be too busy.
Just never go on a holiday or weekends and you're be good.
I went once and I bought a season pass
because it was honestly worth it
and then I never went again though.
And then COVID happened.
Well, the price pretty much, yeah.
But then COVID happened and I was like,
I loved it.
Yeah.
I still love it.
That's really your jam.
You know what was funny, Luke was saying something today
we were talking about while I was
trying to address it and I was like that fits me.
But Luke was like I want to work out more.
He was like but I need a reason to want to work out.
And I was like how do I explain it?
I used to it.
You said the glamour of it.
I said I it's not enough for you.
It's hard for me to get the motivation just for the glamour of working out.
Like I need a goal.
I need a goal.
I need somewhere I'm going with this reason I'm lifting heavy stuff.
You know, super up and down. Like I'll be so hardcore in the gym and do like really amazing.
And then I'll like not go at all. So I gotta get my butt back in the gym. But it's like it's just
the thing that I'm so up and down after my trainer Megan moved. I was just like, well,
that sucks. Come back Megan if you're listening. this. I've had a very busy summer fall.
For sure.
Like that was big on all this.
Yeah, for sure.
Well, I think that that's like a way to reestablish a habit.
If you train, I know my sister when she's been out of a habit,
she'll train for like a mini marathon.
And then it's the habits established.
I will applaud her for that.
Yeah.
I'm not trying to encourage anyone else to do that necessarily.
That's not your jam.
That's not something I'm going to do. Totally. I know I'm not going to encourage anyone else to do that necessarily. If that's not your jam, that's not something I'm going to do.
I know I'm not going to do that, but when you have something to train for, some reason
to work out, you establish that habit.
Oh, for sure.
And after it's over, it's easier to keep it going.
You do feel a lot better.
Like, I definitely feel a lot better when I'm in the gym more.
So I'm definitely trying to run and stuff again.
Like, yeah, it makes you feel so much better.
It's good for your mental health.
It's good for everything. Yeah, I noticed too because I do like to go to bed early
now, but like sometimes I'm like, I know I want to go to bed early, but I'm not like physically
like I'm going to fall asleep tired. Yeah. What day was it? I just had like some busy
day or something. Remember? And I was like, I'm so tired. Yesterday? No. Oh, we went to the football game because we walked.
So tired.
I was like, man, I'm so tired tonight.
That felt really good.
And you're like, that was my workout.
I walked at the football game.
Yeah.
I watched all the players running back and forth on the field.
That was exhausting.
Yeah.
I'm running that. Just kidding. Yes. Oh, we're riding that.
Just kidding.
I want to talk about when reality hits.
All right.
Are you guys having the best time?
It's so much fun.
Yes.
And I also want to talk about BravoCon a little bit, because I know you and Jack's already talked
about BravoCon on it, and I did not listen to the whole thing, but I know in the last
one you did.
But in your synopsis thing,
it talks about like seeing Tom Sandivall,
they're jacksing Tom Sandivall there.
So first, I wanna ask you about BravoCon,
you were there like roughly the same timeframe we were,
but you like got there a lot earlier on Saturday.
Yeah, we landed like one,
you guys didn't like until like six or something, right?
Like eight.
Like eight.
We were already at dinner by the time you guys,
yes.
So you were coming in.
We were telling you to hang out.
You went to like see some of the people.
But I didn't go out with them.
I went to dinner and then I went back to the room
because I knew if I stayed out,
I was gonna take a bunch of tequila shots.
And that wasn't gonna make it.
I wasn't gonna feel good for everybody
that was at our meet and grade,
so I didn't wanna do that.
Brittany, that's exactly my exact train of thought.
I mean, we got in a lot later, so I'm like,
oh, at this point, by the time we get to the room
and then I have to get up early for makeup
and I was like, there's no point.
Like, I just want to go to bed.
Yeah.
I think I was fair.
I got it.
This was a place I got to give props to Jacks.
He rode with Christen and me in a car
over to the event.
And at first, I was like, man, he is,
like, he's got a snap out of this hangover, right?
And he did, like, a freaking magician.
I was blown away.
He was literally like a magician.
I'm like, he is still kind of fucked up.
And he's not doing great.
And then all of a sudden, boom.
Where the fans are there and Jack's is there.
Oh, yeah.
Jack's could turn it on like he does.
Yeah. I feel like a magician. I mean, it's hilarious. You're like a magician. I mean, I'm
I'm being honest. I was so thoroughly impressed. Yeah. Bravo. I would think. Crazy. I mean, it was so much
fun, but like the security like like hurting us around everywhere. It was like insane. And
there was just so much love that it was it was crazy, so, okay, so the Tom Sanle thing.
Oh yeah.
Just out of curiosity,
because I'm thinking about like everyone that I saw
from Vanderpump rules, some people from other shows.
I said hi to shorts like one time.
I was with you and Jacks mostly
as everyone that was their nose.
And I said hi to the girls on Vanderpump,
but I like never even had to really see Tom Sanle.
Well, he was like in one photo with us
and that was kind of it.
So I don't know, I'm just curious.
Like if you guys talk to anyone
you're not really friends with or did you,
were you just like,
were both of you just like polite,
were here for work, whatever?
I just, well, I saw Tom's saying of all,
he came to like, we were having dinner somewhere.
And he came there like the very end of it
because like Ryan and Schwartz were there
and they all went somewhere together afterwards.
So I just said hello and like,
he comes up to me and says like,
hi and stuff now, but I don't talk to him or anything.
Does he still text you about his shows?
I think he's cool.
He's, we have not texted him since then.
We've never talked or anything.
And like he also showed up at Jackson's bar
and I like texted him.
I wanna, yeah, for Halloween.
You didn't know that? No. Yeah, he's, look and I'm out of town out. I don't know. For Halloween, you didn't know that?
I don't know.
Yeah, he's looking around of tones.
I didn't get to go, which I was so sad,
but that was so crazy there.
It was great, but like, he definitely,
he showed up to the bar.
We talked about this as well.
And we had no idea he was coming.
Shorts didn't tell us nobody told us.
Like she was there.
She was there.
Shorts was there.
Like a lot of our friends were there.
And then all here comes this like God dressed, I think it was Barbie, Iartz was there, like a lot of our friends were there. And then all here comes this like, Goddressed,
I think it was Barbie, I don't know, but.
But, yeah, I mean, we were just kind of like,
what, you know, Jinger, me, Ariana's brother,
was there, standing right next to me,
we were like, are you guys okay?
And they're like, just kind of like,
whatever it is, what it is.
And we, you know, I just said hello,
I'm always gonna be polite to you, of course.
You know, but I texted Ariana and I was like,
just so you know, we didn't know that he was coming.
Cause I didn't want her to see that
and get like weird.
Cause I know they were like given people
a hard time for Sheena being in his room
or something.
Yeah, I brought my phone.
So I was like, we did not know.
But I think that Jackson's saying of all
like talked a little bit about stuff.
I don't really know like all the details or anything.
But he was just saying that like, I think Tom was like trying talked a little bit about stuff. I don't really know, like, all the details or anything, but he was just saying that, like,
I think Tom was, like, trying to be, like, nice and stuff again.
Well, that's good.
Yeah, and Jackson Schwartz have been friends longer than anybody.
Like, they knew each other since they were in their 20s,
like, super, super young.
So they've had a long history,
but it's not gonna be, like, oh, they're friends again.
Like, that's gonna take a lot, you know.
But they definitely did talk, and whenever we're taking, like, photos and stuff, saying of all, like, was, like, oh, they're friends again. Like, that's gonna take a lot, you know. But they definitely did talk. And whenever we're taking like photos and stuff,
saying of all, like, was like, bringing Jax,
chapstick and stuff.
So he's just trying to be like extra noise.
And we appreciate that.
I'm glad that he's like making an effort at least.
You know, that people can always change.
And that's what I always want,
I always want the best for people.
No, for sure.
It's just so interesting because we're not obviously not
filming with them, although we haven't in a few years. I feel like this was the first
year that's like fully, fully out of COVID, fully, fully everything back to normal, even more
so than last year. And I just feel like I don't know anything about what they film, what they do,
and people ask all of us, obviously. I'm just like, y'all, I don't know. But guess there's some
of my friends, but I don't go, so what did you guys film this summer?
I'm like, I don't care.
Not in a mean way, but just like,
I don't know if I'll find out when the viewers get.
Yeah, I mean, I talked to like Law Long and Sheena a lot,
but like, I don't really know any,
I don't really ask them to stuff like that.
No.
We talk about like our kids and stuff, like real life stuff.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, that's the act that you're in in life.
If we want a transition to that.
Yeah, well, I just want, yes.
But podcasts, I just want to go ahead and continue.
I'll cast a little more.
Because we were talking about how you do,
so because you guys obviously have a studio,
I've been there, your podcast is so much
freaking fun, your photos, my favorite thing ever.
Thank you.
With Cruz and the spaghetti.
We have it made to our studio.
Our studio has been closed because they're doing it
redoing another one.
So they're like building a new one
and not building it, like decorating it,
getting it ready.
So it's been closed for like a couple of weeks.
Well, that's what I was going to say
because you know we're just talking about how you guys
do get to do it at home sometimes.
Which is what Luke and I honestly mostly do
because we're like either on the road or not together.
But do you love being able to do that at home?
Like having a job where you and Jackson just go,
oh God, the baby, the toddler is in bed,
he's taking a nap.
We can just whip this out real fast, do it at home.
I love that, we can do that.
And I love like how the freedom of that is.
Yeah.
And it's so much fun.
And you can like think of your ideas.
And like you said, like, Cruz can take a nap and I can do it. I don't have to worry about getting like a babysitter and all that is. Yeah. And it's so much fun and you can like think of your ideas. And like you said, like Cruz can take a nap
and I can do it.
I don't have to worry about getting like a babysitter
and all that stuff.
Because that's a whole process whenever me and Jack
sleep together.
You've got to set things and do all that.
But I do love going to the studio too
because it's just like so easy and the energy is great.
And then especially for guests, you know.
But I don't know.
I love that I could do either one.
Yeah.
It's like just another sort of like testament
to your relationship with Jack's, like your friendship
within your marriage, that you can work together.
And obviously you can work together
doing reality television, but like,
then having this podcast has like a separate thing.
Oh, for sure.
And you have the bar.
So it's like all these different projects that you for sure. And you have the bar. So it's like, there's a lot. There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot.
There's a lot. There's a lot. There's a lot. There's a lot. There's a lot of people and a lot of listeners don't understand how much more you will but heads if you start a business with your singing.
Oh, for sure.
It's going to happen.
There will be more drama.
There will be more fights over everything.
I was getting ready to say,
like all the, there's amazing times
that it gets so much fun.
But like if me and Jack are in argument that day
and I have to do a freaking podcast with him,
I'm like, oh buddy, we gotta turn this around
before we get these,
you better fucking smile.
You better, you know what, right now, this is how I'll say,
how I would forgive you.
Because if you're annoyed, like if he brings it wrong,
I'm like, stop bringing it into the microphone.
So, we're not like that always, but of course,
we're married, like we have it together for eight years,
there's times that we bicker anyway, everybody knows that.
But there's just times when you're just annoyed, like you'll leave a cabin to open.
I'm like, and I'll look at it from across the room.
That cabinet is open.
I'm like, just so mad.
Like, bottom my soul, mad.
So yeah, there's definitely days like that, but it's fun still.
Do you have like a reset tool to be like, okay, we have to go to work.
So put your work face on.
Oh, for sure, but also think, yeah,
that's probably what it can be.
But I'm also like so used to Jackson,
how we like, bicker with each other
that I know how to like turn it off, yeah.
That's fair, that's fair.
That's fair.
Chris and we don't really have a tool
when we're like bickering and have to do a part of it.
No, I'm giving it a ears.
Yeah, no, you're not gonna say.
Seven more.
Yeah, just seven more.
No, I'm just like, just fucking leave it alone.
We have to leave it alone right now, focus.
Love each other, love you.
Ugh.
Yeah, so you just gotta turn it off sometimes if you're,
you know, that's what I'm sure
other single couple that does the podcast together
feels the exact same way that we're talking about now.
I feel like when I try and kind of amp you up,
I just annoy the shit out of you.
I'm sure I can do something.
I think I'm like, come on, yeah, we're gonna do this.
Yeah, I got everything all set up.
Maybe we're gonna rock.
No, it's whatever.
I'm like, shut the fuck up.
I don't say that, but I look at him like that.
I'm like, Kristen, you don't know how lucky you are that he actually knows
how to do him like that. I'm like, Kristen, you don't know how lucky you are that he actually knows how to do any of that.
So, Jackson would not know what but depressed
on the recorder at all.
Yeah, he's like, set it up.
Set it up pretty.
Yeah, that's amazing.
Oh man, so pretty.
Okay, let's go to the acts.
Cause I feel like within the world of,
I was like working together and stuff that is like, so explain, we'll explain to Brittany and explain to the acts because I feel like within the world of working together and stuff that
is like, so explain it, we'll explain to Brittany and explain to the listeners what Alan
or therapist has told us.
Okay, so our couples counselor therapist that we had a session with yesterday, he has brought
up this act one, act two, act three of your life and act your relationship and life. And act three of your relationship. Relationship and life.
Act one is single slash dating.
Act two is married family.
Time act three is when the kids move out.
And he thinks it's very important
that when you're starting act two,
you talk about act three and make sure
that your like visions are aligned as far as act three goes.
What does it look like once the kids move out? Where are we going? What are we doing? How do we want
to live out the rest of our days together, right? And that's something that I think is really
cool. I've been thought about it in that perspective. I've thought about how I personally would like
to live out the rest of my life, absolutely. But with that context, Brittany, I mean, you and Jack,
have you guys talked about that sort of thing?
You guys on the same page?
Oh, for sure.
How's that picture look?
We've talked about that.
We've always said that we're going to move back to Kentucky or Florida.
Those have only been the two places that we've said we're going to move.
We've said this for years and years and years.
So I think however long our life and LA last will be that.
And then we'll move to one of those places. And then we'll be grandparents and years and years. So I think however long our life in LA lasts will be that and then we'll move to one of those places
and then we'll be grandparents and stuff after that.
But like we definitely, like he's never like,
I wanna move to Michigan and I'm not like,
no, I've never moved like it's nothing like that.
Like he loves Kentucky, we both love Florida.
I could see it's just like moving there.
I just wanna be like a old happy retired couple
on the beach somewhere, you know?
Totally.
So we talk about stuff like that that we don't get like so, so deep into it.
But I can see Jackson's like, I would like to be a greeter at Walmart.
Swear.
That's hilarious.
He's like, I just think they're the happiest people.
And I'm like, they are.
They really are.
I feel like Jackson be more of a greeter in Nordstroms.
He's not Walmart.
He's the same.
Oh gosh.
But we talk about stuff like that.
Like we definitely don't see us living in LA forever.
But also like you just never know where life is going to take you.
I never thought I would be living in LA in the first place.
You and me both.
You know, yeah.
So it's like, you just never know what's going to happen.
My kids might be wanting to move somewhere.
Maybe I would want to stay close to them
and move where they are living.
I don't know, you know, I don't know.
I want to be that mom that just follows my kids everywhere
and super evolved.
That would you tell me, Christy?
You would make God laugh telling me your plans.
But yeah, it's, but it's not like,
I'm not saying don't make plans.
It's like don't be so hell bent and set on something.
Like, yeah, this is, this year, this time, this place,
like this is what we're doing no matter what.
Because I don't have any plans like that.
Because essentially like the universe, God,
whatever you'd like to call it,
it's probably gonna throw a wrench in those plans.
Sure.
And you're gonna have to deal with that accordingly
and fly by the CD or pants sometimes.
So I don't mean like just let the wind take you wherever
and never make a plan ever.
Like that's ridiculous.
Obviously I know that.
Yeah, we don't have like a super set plan,
but like at least we're not both being like,
I have to stay in LA for the rest of my life.
And like Jack's is like, I'm not, there's no, you know,
we don't have like issues like that.
We both know we wanna move somewhere.
And like, you are very aligned in that.
Yeah, we for sure are. But also who knows what cruise is going to be doing or if I have
another baby like mm-hmm I don't know. Don't say if it's wind.
Wind, yes that's right thank you. I think you're going to have two places at least to be honest
because I think you two are on a trajectory of this awesome success. Oh thank you.
And you can absolutely have the farm in Kentucky
where you have all that stuff that keeps grounded
and feel amazing.
And then the place to go in the winter.
True, hey, manifest.
Let's do it.
Realistically, that's what cursing my goals are,
I believe, that we both want to have a place
that is in a reasonable distance to family.
Not necessarily around top of them, but in a reasonable distance to family. Not necessarily
around top of them, but within a reasonable distance. And then since
Susan from Michigan, I'm from Indiana, that will probably be in a place that
the winner is kind of suck. Oh, for sure.
Kentucky's not great in the winner either. So I feel yeah.
Yeah. So then try to have a second place.
That's right. Yeah.
I've already got a place in Colorado. So once I sell that, I'll buy the second
place.
Thank you for making me. There you go.
There you go.
Luke loves a plan to make a plan.
That sounds like a good one to me.
That's true.
Anything I over-plan.
Yeah.
You know, that's true.
What if we all can't leave each other after all these years and we all move to the same
like a straight in Florida?
I think it'd be a freaking blast.
Yeah, the same thing.
The same old neighborhood.
It's all like the verynerPup rules case.
We're all like gray hair.
We're all like gray hair.
The entire minute city with our own town.
I think y'all still be on TV.
That's the best case.
If everyone moves down there and everyone's got like a boat slip around back.
Yeah, if they can't believe it.
If the golden bachelor can do it, I think that we can do it.
That's hilarious.
I think the name Vanderpump will be cut.
That's true.
That's very true.
Another thing our therapist, Alan told us, was about the 33%
the people that you choose to surround yourself with.
And Jackson Brittany are very much in the like,
they're like in the equals, but also like
the mentor friendship, the people you want to explain that point.
So he said, I'm like, what?
I'm like, what?
I'm like, I'll explain this.
So the 33% rule that he said is that 33% is one third.
So your friends, as your circle gets smaller, as you get a family and everything, you don't
have time for everybody, right? So, in the 33% rule, which you can't overly focus on it,
but there's probably 33% of people that are maybe behind you
personally and professionally, 33% that are.
Well, I keep still love them.
They're still loved.
They're real people, they're great people.
And there's a third that are essentially on par with you.
And then there's a third that are ahead of you,
as far as either personally and or professionally
that can be somewhat of a mentor.
So they have a family.
They already have kids.
And you respect as a couple, we look at you and Jackson go,
wow, they balance their family and their work life
so well together.
Oh, I hate you.
And they're so friends, that's something for us
to look up to.
Not something to be the way our therapist explains it.
It's not something to be jealous of.
You don't put them on a pedestal
because you want to use them for something.
But you're like, oh, I would go to you for advice and go,
well, how?
So you guys had to do the podcast and you had this other thing.
Well, then how did you handle like cruise with sick?
Like he's not feeling great today, right?
Yeah.
Like, what did, so I'm just asking you for advice
and our therapist said like,
well who doesn't like to be asked for advice
about something that they're good at?
They like to share knowledge.
Yeah.
And he also said how it's like,
it's different than a lot of the LA culture
that a lot of times those at top 33%
people see that as they're stepping stone
or they're way up the ladder.
And it's not like that a little bit.
LAs definitely like that.
And he said those are the people that you notice that about or not the people you really
want to spend time around.
But it's good to have friends that have something that you are like working toward like
Chris and just said you and Jacks have this work life family everything you guys seem to
be really killing it.
And you have something that we are working toward.
And I think you guys are.
Like, I already know what a podcast together.
Yeah.
We are, but we want the family.
I mean, like, it's gonna happen for you guys.
What I said personally and professionally,
because it's not necessarily won't, it's not necessarily both.
There's not necessarily one or the other.
But something even like our friends in Nia and Daniel,
that's another couple that Luke and I look up to
is like in this quote unquote mentorship,
like third one third of your friend group.
It's like, oh, they also have young children.
They have a great relationship.
They're best friends.
And it's like, oh, that's like the type of couple
that we aspire to be when we have a family one day.
I love that.
That's really nice, thank you guys.
And when we're married eventually.
Yes.
Woo!
Yeah.
Yeah, Luke.
Yeah, Luke.
Oh, okay.
All right, all right, all right.
I've never been that girl.
Really?
I was like, we've been together.
I mean, never with you.
Okay, yeah, with me.
Give it one more year.
Yeah.
I'm not wearing a faking engagement ring yet.
Oh, gosh, the baby engagement ring!
I forgot!
We have how many years of recast before we just
met this engagement ring.
Oh my goodness.
That's so funny.
That's good.
I haven't seen the episode, but I've heard about it.
Oh my gosh.
A lot of seasons and a lot of episodes to get to that point.
It's so crazy how much like you just brought all that back to me.
You know, like, oh my gosh, that is so funny.
We filmed so much stuff over the years.
I know.
I'm not really.
Wow.
Yeah.
I love it.
It's crazy. Crazy, crazy.
Oh man.
Okay, Brittany, we have one last question for you.
Okay.
We've asked you before. We did. All right. We we have one last question for you. Okay. We asked you before.
We did.
All right.
We're just going to ask you again and it can be anything.
I'm not saying it.
I'm not saying.
I'm too stuffy.
I haven't done my vocal warmups.
Okay, Brittany, you would do anything for love, but say I would do anything for love,
but I won't do.
I would do anything for love. But won't do I would do anything for love
But I won't touch Jack's feet
There you go the first thing that kind of a mom so wait our Jack's feet like Kristen's feet when she does it
Oh, when I don't watch
I hate his feet too, but like, no, I don't know.
He loves feet and I hate feet.
We're like, that's one of our opposites.
Jack's love's her feet.
I just hate feet in general, but Luke makes me wash my feet.
I don't make you.
He recommends that I rinse or wipe my feet off before I get into bed.
I've been wearing socks lately though, because my hair always black.
See, that's why I wear House Lippers 24-7.
I never, ever, and barefoot in my house ever.
Like, I know some people think that's weird,
but I only wear those shoes in my house.
Like, I don't wear them outside or anything, you know?
Like, I'm just one of those.
And you're one of those damn clean too.
I am just one of those people.
I got two dogs.
I got a toddler running around.
I'm like, okay, Brittany, I love you.
And thank you for coming by. I love you. And everyone, duh, on my like. Okay, Brittany, I love you. And thank you for coming. Bye.
