And we have one of my favorite couples, two of my favorite people as our guests today. So I'm just going to jump right into it. Jasmine Good and Melissa Coralli. What is up, my angels? Hi.
Starting point is 00:01:42 Hello. We love you. Yes. Thank you, Susan. Yes. Thank you for having us, Susan. I know we've been trying to do this for so long. And we're not in LA right now, but it worked out. So I'm really happy. Me too.
Starting point is 00:01:53 I was just going to say, yes, I've been, just so everyone knows, I've been stalking Jazz and Mel to do this podcast. And everyone, like all of our listeners, are like, when are you going to have them on? And obviously, we'll get into it pretty quickly. but why isn't Melissa on season one of The Valley? Well, I get that question all the time. And it's so annoying when I see some of the comments.
Starting point is 00:02:13 You were like, I want to respond, but I don't know how. I was like, maybe just stay tuned. We don't know what's going to happen. So I'm just like, everyone will see soon. Oh, yeah. I mean, I'm stoked we got you on. Like you just said, it's been a while. We've been trying to get you, but I know everybody has...
Starting point is 00:02:28 wants to know you better, Jasmine. I mean, they're calling you the Valley Whisperer. Huh? That's so funny. I love it. The Valley Whisperer. Oh, my God, I love it. Honestly, it's so, like, I mean, I guess we'll go into that later, but it's just different not having your partner there
Starting point is 00:02:42 when you're filming with all these couples. It's like, all you can do is just sit back and watch everything just like burn in front of you, you know? So it will be nice, hopefully to have her. Oh, I love the comment. We weren't at the baby moon, right? So, but I love the comment. And this is the baby moon from Elle.
Starting point is 00:02:59 I won't invite any of these motherfuckers if I have a baby moon. Guys, it was so, like, I was thinking like, I was like, why are we here? I was like, why if I have a baby moon. Yeah. It was so, like I was thinking like, I was like, why are we here? I was like, why are we on a baby moon? Like this is supposed to be, you know, comfy, relaxing for her. And then I'm sitting here like,
Starting point is 00:03:12 she's worried about you, Kristen and Zach not showing up. Like, what about the people you have here already? Because this is not fun. Like it was not what I thought it was gonna be. Well, I thought, I thought Kristen was the problem. I thought she was the only reason it was drama. That's what I thought everyone said. When I was there, I kept thinking,
Starting point is 00:03:28 I was like, Kristen could be here right now. And I think the boys are topping her right now because that's how dramatic and intense everything was. And I was like, wait, actually Kristen and Zach would probably bring some fun to this round. We need that. So yeah, but trust me, you didn't miss anything. Well, and watching you, Jazz, like with Janet,
Starting point is 00:03:48 like cooking everything and Michelle just going, look, I don't know how to cook. I'll pretend to slice mushrooms. We know Brittany's a really good cook. She's not feeling well. She's super sick in bed. Janet's pregnant, all stressed out, losing her fucking shit.
Starting point is 00:04:01 And you're like, cool, I'll cook for everyone. When if you guys don't follow Jasmine and Melissa on Instagram, you have to. But it's what and your TikTok, your TikTok together is amazing. But Melissa and Jasmine are always posting food like the most and I don't even eat meat. But I'm like, what is that? It's this one. Wait, I just want to add that Jasmine was texting me being like, do you think this is done in sending
Starting point is 00:04:26 pictures? Right now, like walk me through it. I was like, okay, baby, you got this. I was like, I need help right now. These burgers, I swear the burgers were like raw as hell. And like, eating it and I'm like, looking at it. And I'm like, done. But I was like, it was really rare. But I was like, okay, and just like, it's amazing. I'm like, you're six-year-old, it was not me. That's all I'm gonna say.
Starting point is 00:04:48 That's what I remember when I first started following y'all's TikTok, and I would, before I really got to know you super well, Melissa, like back in the day, and I would text Jasmin, and I'm like, oh my God, like, do you guys do this together? Like, are you cooking for her? By his first sentence, she goes,
Starting point is 00:05:02 oh girl, I do not cook, that is all Melissa. So to see Jas Jasmine like slaving away in this kitchen in Big Bear without you there, I was like, damn. Exactly, I needed her there because she is such a good cook. Like follow us on TikTok, get all the recipes. She is the one. And I wish she was there
Starting point is 00:05:17 because I didn't know what I was doing. And I was like, she's the cook, not me. Yes, you didn't. You were texting me stressed, but she has been learning how to cook. Yes. I teach her tricks all the time. I made chili last night. She taught me how to make chili. I'm trying. Yes, I love that. Melissa, if I bring you some wild game this fall, will you whip up a meal for us?
Starting point is 00:05:37 I will try. I'm scared of wild games. Really? Well, you never worked with it. Yeah, I never worked with it. I feel like if I just do a little Google and figure out what the steps are, I got you. So elk can be treated essentially the same as beef. It's just like a lean version of beef. Then I got that. Then I got you. You got this?
Starting point is 00:05:55 Yeah, yeah, exactly. I'll make a salad. I'll make a salad. Jaz and I will bring the mimosas. Let's start from the beginning. Yeah, because the fans know Jasmine before they realized they even knew Jasmine. Jasmine, you've done more television than any of us have.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Guys, I'm just an entertainer over here. Let's start from the beginning. Well, the beginning just where you grew up and then let's dive into Dallas Cowboys and the Bachelor Nation and get it all. Okay. Oh, wow. Well, we're both from New Jersey, born and raised here. I started, I guess, my dance world. I've always been in the entertainment since I was little, dancing all my life.
Starting point is 00:06:36 But then I got really into it when I tried out for the Jets, did that for two years. Then I ended up going to work for Disney Cruise Line, just right after college. Cruise Line just like you know It's right after college. I'm like, you know what? Let's go travel the world. Why not did that and you were a Disney princess Friends with the Disney princess You know Keep the magic alive. Okay friends with Princess Tiana. So I had a great
Starting point is 00:07:03 That sounds bad a great experience with that. That sounds bad. A great experience with Princess Tiana. Well, it's wild to me. And obviously I knew this, but it's wild to me. And I don't know if the fans of our show, the fans of Bravo, or the listeners know. Not only were you friends with the Disney princess, Ariana was friends with the Disney princess, Nia was friends with the Disney princess. Like, what the hell happens? You do Disney and then you jump on over to Bravo.
Starting point is 00:07:24 It's just, I don't know. Disney is just, it's the best job in the world. And honestly, it changed my life. And I wish I could do it forever because it was so fun. But yeah, so I've started Disney. And then after that, I wanted to continue dancing, but I didn't want to go back to Jersey. And my best friend was like,
Starting point is 00:07:40 let's go travel with the Cowboys, the best team in the country. And I was like, I don't know. I don't know if we can do that, but let's try it, why not? Went out there, tried it and we made it, which was like insane. So we packed up and moved to Dallas. And then after that, I was in a relationship at the time.
Starting point is 00:07:58 And I was like, you know what? He's going to school out in California. And I was like, you know what? I wanna still dance and we still trying to work out our relationships. So I tried out for the Warriors, made that team. I was like, oh my God, my life is just like, when I think about it saying this, it's like crazy.
Starting point is 00:08:11 It's some of the coolest shit I've ever heard. I'm literally like, you had no fear auditioning for these things. And didn't have any fear. I just said, you know what? I want to try it. I'm going to do it if I don't make it. And you just don't make it.
Starting point is 00:08:23 You just, you know, it's a big ambition. Literally, I just, I just love, you know what, I wanna try it. I'm gonna do it if I don't make it. Then you just don't make it, you just. You know, it's a big ambition. Literally, I just love dancing so much. I love like performing that I needed like to keep going. And I didn't think I was done yet. So I needed that one year and the Warriors was that. And then after that I was like done and I had just broke up with my ex. And then I was gonna move back to Jersey.
Starting point is 00:08:41 And then my best friend was like, hey, do you wanna, I got asked to do the bachelor but I can't do it, I'm gonna nominate you. And I was like, what? Nominate me. I was like, sure. Why not? She's like boosting it up. I never really watched it like that deep. I knew about it, but she's like, you got to do it. Like you just have to make it to paradise. And I'm like, okay. Got the call like, Oh, two weeks before filming started and then did the bachelor. Which season of bachelor in paradise were you? I remember your season, but it was pretty new. Season four? Yeah, I think it was season four. It was pretty new. It was right when they started.
Starting point is 00:09:14 Yes, I did that and then moved to LA because I just wanted to kind of feel out the vibe because all my friends on the show, they were moving to LA. And I was like, you know what? Let's all just move to freaking LA. My uncle was there, he had a place for me to stay. And then, yeah. And that was like all before the age of 30. Yes, literally. I started working at Star. I think I was 30.
Starting point is 00:09:34 I think I just turned 31 or 30. Yeah. It was like, yeah, before 30. Isn't that crazy? Yep. It's like you live this whole lifetime before your life even got started in a way. I know.
Starting point is 00:09:47 I've done so much. You should write a book. I said that. I'm going to. I actually started like kind of like putting stuff in. You're like 10 different lives. I literally think I've just done so much and like I'm very grateful and thankful that I have these experiences.
Starting point is 00:09:57 But everything like really like just works out how it's supposed to be. You know, like I think about the pandemic being in LA, the pandemic didn't happen, I probably wouldn't be sitting with her right here. Just little things, how it all adds up. That's kinda how I end up in LA. So I've got something to tag on to your Bachelor in Paradise time.
Starting point is 00:10:16 So Kristen showed me a clip. I actually went to high school with a girl that was on the same season of Bachelor in Paradise with you and you guys kinda of had beef. Kristin? I think her name is Kristin. Kristin Whitney. Oh my God, Kristin.
Starting point is 00:10:29 Oh my, you know what's crazy? I was thinking, I was like, dang, every Kristin in my life I've had like some kind of like thing with, but then they were cool again. Like me and Kristin, I love her now. Like we're friends. Like scallops, whatever everyone calls her. We are cool now. And we're cool.
Starting point is 00:10:44 But I was like, yes, Kristen, Scali, they call her scallops. That's really, that was kind of mean. I didn't make that up, that was Alexis. I didn't make that up. I don't know. Oh, I remember that season so well. Nice, you went to school with her?
Starting point is 00:10:55 I went to high school with her. We graduated the same year, yeah. Oh my God. Wow, see, small world. Everyone's connected somehow. It's so weird. Yeah, that we run into each other in Los Angeles when I'm not even living there,
Starting point is 00:11:04 dating another Kristen. Oh, it's just weird. It's wild,. Very small. Yeah, that we run into each other in Los Angeles when I'm not even living there dating another Kristen. It's just weird. It's wild. It's wild. And then, and Mel, you're from Jersey as well. Something I did not know about you until today, because I always spell your last name wrong. Like I switched the Rs and Ls.
Starting point is 00:11:20 So of course I was like, Google them. I said two Rs, two Ls. Yep. Yep. Happens all the time. And now I get what the number three is in your Instagram handle. Starting point is 00:14:52 Do you want? Yeah, we were doing visual painting. She was really good. Come on. Yeah. She downplays it. I'm like, no, you are amazing. We were like top 15 in the country, conference winners.
Starting point is 00:15:03 We were a big deal. That's amazing. Did you play in high school? In my high school, we did not have lacrosse. So this is a whole new world for me. I know. Yeah, lacrosse has been growing. I grew up playing basketball, AAU and very competitive. But once I hit high school, my brother and my dad were like, you need to try lacrosse as a sport. You're like too fast to be playing anything else. And then in like two years I got recruited. So it was pretty crazy. This world's badass.
Starting point is 00:15:30 I'm telling you, anything she does, she just like, it amazes me. I'm not even joking. I'm not trying to say that because I'm my girlfriend, but dead ass. Like she's just good at everything she does. That's why I'm competitive. I'm very competitive.
Starting point is 00:15:39 Oh yeah, I feel that. Yeah, I played competitive sports up till I was 23, roughly. And yeah, I still miss it. I bet you miss it. Oh, yeah. It's like a big change. You go from being so disciplined and like devoting everything to it. And then all of a sudden you have the freedom to like not work out and not like do all these
Starting point is 00:15:59 things. But yeah, I miss I miss being competitive. We're trying to join like some form of a team. I don't know, kickball or something like that. Yeah, we should start one. So we should start one. That would be so fun. 100%.
Starting point is 00:16:09 I'm totally down. Kristen, you down? Absolutely. This is it right here. This is so fun. The start of a kickball league. I wanted to do that last summer. I was like, can we do like a adult game thing day?
Starting point is 00:16:21 Like I think that would be so fun. Like bowling. Kickball, softball. Yes. think that would be so fun. Like bowling, or softball. Yep, softball, down, anything. So before we talk about why Melissa maybe didn't want to do this season, I just want to talk a little bit more about the two of you because as I introduced you, truly you are literally one of my favorite couples. Oh, you're so cute.
Starting point is 00:16:39 You guys are so adorable around each other. Melissa, it's like she grounds Jasmine, but Jasmine, you're not it's like interesting with you two because I see a lot of when I compare it to my own relationship with Luke, I see a lot of Melissa in Luke and vice versa. She's very logical, less emotional. But jazz, you're also you're not like the me you're not like this freak out, you know, crazy person either. It's like you both really meet each other in the middle because you also
Starting point is 00:17:06 are very logical and really smart. And I just think, yeah, it's like you two are like the best of friends. You compliment each other so well. You lift each other up. And as women, what I love about you guys as my friends, I feel like you're always rooting for other women to, and people, to be like the best versions of themselves. Like I know that if I'm inviting you to like, my James May thing, or if we're just talking about, you know, something someone succeeded on, you two are always the ones like, you're never jealous, you're not resentful.
Starting point is 00:17:35 You're just like, yes, be better, do better, awesome. We want to celebrate you. And I think that's really something to be said as like friends, you know? I agree. And like seeing, there was a part in the episode you talked about that when you, I think you guys had a conversation, but I think, I don't know what episode it was.
Starting point is 00:17:49 Like Luke was sitting you down, like, you know, talking to you, like how a real relationship would be like, hey, like giving his side, how he feels on things. And I was like, that is so Melissa, because that's something she does to me. Like, okay, you need to realize what you did was this, but you know, but then at the party had her back. And that's what I tell him like,
Starting point is 00:18:06 yeah, you better have my back no matter what. But you know, like that's what I loved, like seeing how you guys had that conversation. And like, you know, it was, you can tell it was like a real raw authentic conversation and relationships you need to see that. And I think that's where the similarities come from. Like Melissa does that to me.
Starting point is 00:18:22 So. That's a huge similarity. Me and Luke are the same. And like, I will defend you in public always, but I'm not gonna like sugar coat things in private. I'm gonna tell you where you're thinking of things the wrong way and like, you know, question your logic and it's healthy to have that type of debate. So I really appreciate that.
Starting point is 00:18:38 And I think Luke, you've done a great job having those conversations, but I don't know. I don't know. I think there's a lot of similarities between both of our relationships. And I love you guys so much. And you both have been the most loving, welcoming, nice people ever. So I really appreciate that. I agree. Even though you only came on The Valley like two times this season, you were one of my favorite cast members, Mel. Love it. Just like, yay. one of my favorite cast members, Mel. I love it.
Starting point is 00:19:04 She's like, yay. I remember looking, making eye contact with you, Melissa, at the Capri dinner and being like, you were shaking your head and I'm like, fuck this. I'm out of here. I'm either gonna beat Jessie's face into the floor or I'm gonna leave. And you were just sitting there shaking your head,
Starting point is 00:19:19 didn't say a word. And I'm like, I feel you. Yep. Oh my God. You had to duck out a little bit on that one. I know. Let's talk about like your love story. Like how, obviously you're both from Jersey, but just kind of like,
Starting point is 00:19:34 even though there's a million questions from the listeners, but that way you can kind of like wrap it up into. I know we need to put a video on our TikTok and we haven't done it yet. But I mean, I suppose they're similar. Yeah. It is the same story. But like you, you're point of view is a little different than mine.
Starting point is 00:19:52 Um, so Jasmine and I are from the same town, same high school, but we were a couple of years apart, so we didn't go at the same time. Uh, one of my friends was one of her friend's sisters. So yeah, like friend, friend, sisters. And we had like kind of coll yeah, friend, friend, sisters. And we had kind of collided at points, but not really. And I don't even know what year we were. Because you were just so much younger than us.
Starting point is 00:20:11 Yeah, I was younger. I mean, not that so much younger. But at the time, in high school, in middle school. Yeah, but we were younger. The younger was a lot younger. But we were, what year was it? I guess it was before, it was before like 17. 17, around 17.
Starting point is 00:20:19 Yeah, so like 16, 17. Thanks God, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like was it was before it was like 17, 17. Yeah, so like 16, 17. It was Thanksgiving weekend.
Starting point is 00:20:30 I think Thanksgiving Eve, you know, what does that call? Everyone goes home. Black Wednesday. Yeah. Black out Wednesday. Everybody's home from town. You see everybody. You're like, I kind of want to avoid everybody
Starting point is 00:20:41 but you see them. And our two friends were at the same bar, and they invited both of us. And like, we instantly hit it off. I was sitting in the bar. I remember this moment. I'll never forget it. Because I was sitting with my friend at a table,
Starting point is 00:20:55 and she's like, my sister's coming with Melissa, or Melissa's girlfriend, or whatever. And she walks in, and I'm just like, and she's like, there she is. And I'm like, I look at her, and I'm like, you're wearing a white shirt. I still remember a white shirt. Yeah, you do. And I was like, oh my god. She's so freaking beautiful. And I'm like, I look at her and I'm like, you're wearing a white shirt. I still remember a white shirt. And I was like, oh my God, she's so fricking beautiful.
Starting point is 00:21:07 I was like, and I look at my friend Tiffy and I was like, you have to tell me everything about her. I was like, okay, tell me everything like what's going on. And she's like, oh, she's in a relationship. And I'm like, of course. And I'm like, all right, fine. So we're just all talking at the table, hitting it off. And like, we're kind of like flirting.
Starting point is 00:21:22 I could feel the vibe, but her girlfriend's there. But you know, she was very respectful. She didn't like do anything, you know, but you can just feel that energy when you're talking to San. And so I ended up leaving and I think you follow me outside. You did follow me outside. She left and my friend, the sister of Tiffany Ashley was like, uh, probably just I was like looking at her like, I don't know, I feel like she was cool. Like, I don't want to just like lose contact. So I followed her outside. Yes, I did. And I was like, Hi, like, can I have your Instagram? This is back when like Instagram was just getting like, sorry, I didn't ask for a
Starting point is 00:21:57 phone number trying to be respectful. She gave me her Instagram and I'm gonna tell this part because you're gonna embarrassed by I knew she was following me. I was like, yes, no. So she gave me she gives following me outside. I was like, yes, I knew it. So she gives me her Instagram. And I was like, that was really nice meeting you, blah, blah, blah. And then she goes like this and grabs my shirt and tries to pull me in and give me a kiss.
Starting point is 00:22:15 And I was like, I can't. I'm in a relationship. Yeah, and I've never felt so played. And I went for it, and I got shut down. I was like, I ran away. I was like, oh, my Uber's here. And I like ran. It was so embarrassing. But like in hindsight, now that you guys have been together so long, aren't you like, that's right. Cause my girl is loyal. She was loyal to her. Therefore she's going to be loyal to me.
Starting point is 00:22:40 She was very loyal, but the fact that she followed me outside, I knew it. I was like, I love you so much. And then we kept in contact for years. Yeah. And then we kept contact for like four years, just like flirting. And then finally the pandemic happened and then she was like, Hey, I'm coming out. The stars aligned and it was time and time. And I was like, well, you want to go on a date? And then she never left.
Starting point is 00:23:00 Yeah. That is true. And that's really like kind of how it happened. And literally, it was, I swear it was meant to be. And I always say this story, she thinks, I don't know if you believe me when I say this, but years ago I had put like a year or two before her, she came out here, I put like in my diary, like writing, manifesting like things that I wanted in a person. I just said in a partner, I didn't say male or female because you know, I was, I meant
Starting point is 00:23:22 to both. And I was like, just this in a partner, want. All these characters, it was like somebody dark. I was naming every little thing, a cooks for me every night, and all these little things. And then now I get this woman, I'm like, holy crap, she literally cooks for me every night. It was like little things just checking the boxes. And I was like, this is wild.
Starting point is 00:23:37 Have you seen Practical Magic with Sandra Bullock? Yes. It's like you were writing your thing. You're like, one blue eye, one one green can flip pancakes made like a cactus. Like you were doing all of that and here she comes, but without the dead guy spirit. Exactly. Not the dead guy. I was like somebody from my home, like someone from East Coast.
Starting point is 00:23:57 It was like very detailed. So yeah. My heart. Awesome story. Kristen's usually the one that gets this, but I just got goosebumps like all over my body because it does seem like... It's Kristen's usually the one that gets this but I just got goosebumps like all over my body because it It's like felt like divine intervention. Like you guys were meant to be together. Is that way that story played out to me? Can I tell you guys one more crazy thing
Starting point is 00:24:17 Absolutely, it's not it's like very relevant to this So we we joke like oh we were written in the stars like the universe conspired whatever but Literally yesterday or two days ago Jasmine Jasmine went to her parents' house to clean out some of her old stuff. She found her 2014, I think, or something around then, like years ago, her Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader calendar. And like each day of the year
Starting point is 00:24:40 has like a different Cowboys Cheerleader. And she just happened to be the cheerleader on my birthday. Which is kind of crazy. I'm gonna do a video on it, I'll show it, yeah. Like 365 days in a year, year has like a different Cowboys cheerleader and she just happened to be the cheerleader on my birthday. Crazy. Which is kind of crazy. I'm going to do a video on it. I'll show it. Yeah. Like 365 days in a year.
Starting point is 00:24:50 I haven't seen it in years. I just found it in my old home a couple of days ago and I was like, what the hell? That's kind of wild. What the? Little things. Little like things. So yeah. What are the chances?
Starting point is 00:25:02 I know. I know. It's crazy, right? Timing is crazy and how things just work out. Slim to none. Now, I'm not usually one to go here, but like, what are your guys' signs? I'm an Aries. Our signs don't go.
Starting point is 00:25:13 Yeah, I'm an Aries. I'm a Cancer. But in our chart, it makes sense because you have Gemini in your chart. I have Gemini in my chart. Yeah. Like our other signs. Wait, Luke, do you know a lot about signs? No.
Starting point is 00:25:24 But it's one of those relevant questions I feel like sometimes. Because answers Aries don't go together. But then I think about my parents, my mom's a Gemini and Burgos don't go together and they've been married for 42 years. So it's like, I don't know how much. I think it just, I don't know. Maybe Ali Valley can do your birth charts. We actually did talk to her a little bit about that.
Starting point is 00:25:44 I know. She was like, really? Yeah. Yeah, when we saw our stagecoach, she was like, oh, okay. I didn't see that. But the signs were different. We're defying the odds. That's all that matters.
Starting point is 00:25:52 So something else I want to talk about, I believe, Melissa, you told me at one point you have a connection to the Jersey Shore cast. Is that right? I don't have a personal connection to them, but growing up when like Jersey Shore was like very big, every time we would go down the shore, they'd be there and we would always see them and like they'd be walking the boardwalk and be like, Oh, hi, but I wish I had a connection.
Starting point is 00:26:19 That'd be like the real life Jersey Shore. Well, you live there, your aunts and uncles. Like Jersey Shore. Oh yeah you live there. Your aunt's and uncle's. Real life. Real life Jersey Shore. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I used to grow up going down there, crabbing. It's actually funny. Memorial Day weekend, Jasmine and I want to go crabbing
Starting point is 00:26:34 this weekend. I'm jealous. I'm so jealous. What the hell does that mean? You haven't been crabbing? No. Kristin's vegetarian. I've been crabbing.
Starting point is 00:26:43 Crabbing is a blast. Oh, yeah. Kristin, that makes sense. I'm been crabbing. Crabbing is a blast. Yeah. I'm like, there's a lot of other thoughts coming to my mind that are definitely not it. But no, I'm like, what in the hell is crabbing? So you're like catching crabs, like in the bay or in the ocean or something? Yes.
Starting point is 00:26:58 Not in your pubes. Right. I had that. I didn't think that's where they were going with it. But wait, so do you like, like, will you just grab it with your hands or what? No, we have like a cage thing. You like drop it in the water and it just kind of like... Have you ever done it with like a chicken leg on a string and you bring them in and
Starting point is 00:27:17 net them? Yeah, exactly. That's how I learned. See, Chris and me too. You see, I haven't done it yet. I'm just going for the ride because I love that. We like being outside. Like, I want to be by the lake, I haven't done it yet. Just going for the ride, because I love that. We love that, because we like being outside. Like, I want to be by the lake.
Starting point is 00:27:28 I want to be by the water. Same, very much so. But the chicken leg, it's like a little too Jurassic Park for me. Yeah, I know, right? I was like, a chicken leg. I was like, I thought you were thinking of a worm or something. Well, sometimes you do chicken necks or other parts that are super cheap. Just something with some chicken meat on them, you know.
Starting point is 00:27:44 Thanks for the clarification, we really appreciate that. In case you didn't have the right visual, Kristen, I just wanted to make sure you had it. Hello, I love you guys. Oh my God, I'm crying right now. Oh man, so from growing up or being around Jersey Shore, which was the hottest reality TV show at the time, right?
Starting point is 00:28:01 And now I know that we actually have a couple of producers that have worked with Jersey Shore way back then that now are working with The Valley. I think that's pretty cool. Yeah, I think that's pretty cool. Like to know that that's like one of the, like me and Keith talked about that. We're like, this is the biggest show
Starting point is 00:28:16 like that was at the time. And now we have Keith working on our show, which is I think the biggest show now at this time. But it's still kind of cool, right? To know that we're kind of like a part of it. And then, God, we'll just keep on this reality train for a hot minute if we can. So when we started filming season one of The Valley, I did not know why Melissa wasn't filming with us.
Starting point is 00:28:37 I could only assume this is just not for her, which it's kind of not. And I'm like, maybe she, you know, Jasmine's got this on her own and maybe Melissa will come around like a few times, but like, maybe she'll get used to it and want to come on season two. And then I find out you had already been cast for a Netflix show.
Starting point is 00:28:57 Yep. Yeah, girl. Which was so fucking cool. Luke and I were obsessed with that show. Player 361. 361. Well, we didn't think like, you know how when we got asked to do The Valley and everything was happening, then they stopped for a while. It was like this long break. So we were like, just live your life. Like we didn't know if it was even going to happen. So she got offered that and I was like, honestly, this is really cool. And she loves, that's
Starting point is 00:29:22 her curve thing. Like I can never do that. Plus you had potential to make a lot more money a lot faster. And I was like, honestly, this is really cool. And she loves, that's her thing. Like I can never do that. Plus you had potential to make a lot more money a lot faster. We were like, $100,000, I'm like, maybe we can win. I really believed in her. I was like, you really could win. Like you made it far. You could go out, you made it to top 60.
Starting point is 00:29:35 Yeah, you really did. Yeah, one in 60 chance of 4.56 million. That's like better than the lottery you'll ever play. Yeah, totally. It's literally better than anything I could ever imagine as far as like the odds are concerned. When we were watching it, I kept telling Kristen, I'm like, she's going to make it far. Cause we barely seen her. We see people a lot right before they get,
Starting point is 00:29:55 you know, they're not showing the winner yet. You know that exactly. They haven't highlighted Melissa yet. She's going to keep going. She's not, she's going to keep going. Hopefully she wins. That's how I feel about the bachelor too. Whenever I'm watching Bachelor, like any of The Bachelor, Bachelorette, Bachelor Nation, especially not really VIP, but once they're like introducing people, you kind of get to know everyone the first two episodes and then whoever
Starting point is 00:30:17 ends up at the end, they kind of like disappear for a little bit. So I'm like, it's none of these bitches right here. It's going to be someone a little bit. So I'm like, it's none of these bitches right here. It's gonna be someone a little under the radar. She's making it far, but yeah, it just, I mean, I'm glad she did it though. That's like the largest reality show in history. 456 people, like it's already a fight. And I went into it knowing that I was like, I just want this experience.
Starting point is 00:30:39 I'm gonna try to go as far as I can. I'm competitive. And then once I got like closer, I was like, oh crap. Like, like this might actually have potential. That's when you get more invested, but it's okay. Can you talk about, I don't know what you're allowed to say per Netflix, but where you guys shot it, what was that whole experience like being in those bunkers?
Starting point is 00:30:59 And I don't know, it's so many people. I cannot even imagine Fathom, what that would be like to film something like that or live it. Yeah, I didn't really, it's so many people. I cannot even imagine Fathom, what that would be like to film something like that or live it. Yeah, I didn't really know what to expect either. We filmed in London and yeah, the bunkers we stayed in were like this huge warehouse with a, like the set was like very well done.
Starting point is 00:31:19 It was kind of crazy to like walk in and see five levels of beds and be like, oh my God, like this is just like the show. We're really experiencing this. I didn't expect it to be like that. I was like, they're going to do the best they can, but they did a phenomenal job with the set. So that's really where you slept. That was not just a set for us to see on TV. Yes. Swear to God. We're sleeping with all the strangers. You have people snoring. You'd be like, who was snoring last night? I don't know. And then every time people would get eliminated, the beds would shuffle, similar as the show,, you'd be like, who was snoring last night? I don't know. And then every time people would get eliminated,
Starting point is 00:31:45 the beds would kind of shuffle, similar as the show. And you'd have to find a new spot to sleep. So you'd end up with new people around you and blah, blah. What were you allowed to bring? Were you allowed to have your phone at all or just not during the day? Oh, no, no. I didn't have a phone for two and a half weeks.
Starting point is 00:32:02 We didn't talk for two and a half weeks. You talked after you got your number. She didn't even know if I was like, like what was happening. Like it was just like cold turkey. You give your phone in and then after you're eliminated, you have a couple of days before you even get your phone again. So I had no contact with the world. We had no clue what time it was.
Starting point is 00:32:17 You couldn't bring anything in, right? Nothing. We could bring nothing. You couldn't even bring chapstick. So girls can have eye makeup, like nothing. What? Earrings. She had to take out like her, some of her earrings. I had to take out all my earrings. No chapstick. She said girls can have an aisle of makeup, like nothing. What? Earrings, she had to take out like her, some of her earrings.
Starting point is 00:32:26 I had to take out all my earrings, no chapstick, no brushes. I was about to ask you, you're allowed to have like AirPods, but then you can't have your phone. So you'd have to listen to people snore. You can't even listen to music. Yep.
Starting point is 00:32:36 You got a fanny pack with a toothbrush, a hairbrush, toothpaste. That's pretty much it, and a water bottle. And the toothbrush was like very flimsy. I saw it, she took it out. I was like, this is not. It was pretty cool. It was like jail. I was just gonna say, it's like much it, and a water bottle. And the toothbrush was like very flimsy. I saw it, she took it, I was like, this is not jail. It was pretty cool. It was like jail. Yeah, I was just gonna say, it's like a jail toothbrush,
Starting point is 00:32:49 so you can't even. Yeah, it was jail. We called it squid block. We'd be like, we're on squid block right now. Jen Puppman squid block. She told me that you guys made like, out of the underwear they had, like extra games out of. Yeah, we had like, we wore the same outfit for days, but they gave us like new underwear
Starting point is 00:33:07 and socks. Every time we showered, you got a new pair. Oh, that's nice. Underwear and make a ball and like play games with the underwear ball. Oh my god. Yeah. You lost like 10 pounds. Yeah, I lost like eight or nine pounds. That's all you were eating was.
Starting point is 00:33:20 Yeah. Yeah. What do you eat? Jail food. Well, you get three meals a day. The morning was like oatmeal with no salt, pepper, Yeah. What do you eat? Jail food. Well, you get three meals a day. The morning was oatmeal with no salt, pepper, sugar. You don't put salt and pepper on oatmeal, but no flavoring.
Starting point is 00:33:31 And then the meals were usually a piece of boiled chicken and a boiled potato. So it's really what they talk about. They weren't saying this for TV and then going, all right, guys, craft services. You have 35 minutes. No. You're going to work for this $4 million. Okay? Yep. No, no, absolutely nothing. I'm pretty sure there are people who dropped out solely because of the food.
Starting point is 00:33:49 They couldn't handle it anymore. They were like, I can't do this. I'm starving. Yeah. I can't do this. I'm too stressed. Which is part of it. Like you're fighting for 4.5, 6 million, like suck it up a little bit.
Starting point is 00:34:00 You know, like it was hard, but it was all worth it at the end. Well, I like, can you talk about that? I don't know. I mean, it was like seven hours long. Yeah, what was? I got mad about it. Because I was reading articles, like waiting to see what's happening.
Starting point is 00:34:16 And then there was an article that came out. Her mother called me, freaking out. She's like, oh my god, they're saying that people are getting taken out on a stretcher, and somebody had a seizure, and that it's freezing cold. And I'm like, wait, are they doing this in the snow? That's all I kept thinking. I'm like, where are they? And so I'm freaking out. Her mom's freaking out. I'm like, okay, well, we didn't get a phone call. So that means she made it through. I'm like, she did D1 lacrosse. She can make it through anything in the snow. She's done lacrosse
Starting point is 00:34:40 in the snow. She's got this. So we didn't get a call and I'm like, yes, she made it there. That is so wild. Yeah. So aside from what, when you got eliminated, what was the most difficult challenge you did? Definitely red light, green light. As we talked about earlier, I played D1 lacrosse and we used to train in the snow because UMass Amherst in like the winter is just pure snow. And it was hands down the most physically challenging thing I've ever done. All the other challenges we played were mentally, they mess with your mind, a little bit of skills, but pure physicality.
Starting point is 00:35:15 Red Light Green Light outweighs everything. So. Crazy. That's so wild. Wow, and half the people got eliminated that day. Yeah. Something like that. Yeah, there was a couple hundred, I think. Jazz, when you were on not only Bachelor, but also BIP,
Starting point is 00:35:28 what were the phone rules for you on that show? No cell phone. They took your phone the day you arrived in the hotel. Like, you didn't have that in a hotel. I remember in Paradise, though, I did sneak a phone. So I had my... Because I learned from Bachelor, I was like, I'm not going to be able to... Because they put you in a hotel for like three days to like do the whole therapy stuff and all that.
Starting point is 00:35:49 And I'm going to have a cell phone. So I had a cell phone like in my little bag, like a little burner. I did, I was like, I did bring a burner cause I wanted to talk to my mom. I was like, I'm not going to be in here for three days. I already knew the process. So I bought a burner phone and they check all your bags. I was like, nervous they're going to be in here for three days. I already knew the process. So I bought a burner phone and they check all your bags. I was like, nervous they're going to find it. But like I hid it somewhere.
Starting point is 00:36:08 But I was like, yes, they didn't find it. No phones, you're a coffee world. You're not allowed to read books, read magazines because they want you focused on love. Like, you know, that's what we're talking about. On love. On love. So there was no phones, no books, anything.
Starting point is 00:36:25 It's kind of sad. Because you just want to be on the beach and read a magazine or read a book and do that. Yeah. And I'm guessing they probably, magazines and stuff, they don't want, because it'd be a lot of tabloids, stuff probably about your season or whoever. Yours was Nick Viall, right? Yeah. Bachelor was Nick Viall.
Starting point is 00:36:42 Paradise was everybody. That is so crazy. Which I love better. Paradise was the best because- Paradise looked like fun. Because having fun with all your friends, and honestly, that's what it was for me. I think about when I look back in Paradise, I really didn't connect with anybody there. I was connected with my best friend Alexis. We were having fun, drinking and partying.
Starting point is 00:37:00 That was the best part, just having a vacation with your girlfriends. Yeah, that's how I would do it. It sounds fun. It's definitely my favorite to watch. Kristin has pushed me a little bit into Bachelor Nation and Bachelor in Paradise. I'm like, I can actually get a little excited for. No shade to Bachelor Nation
Starting point is 00:37:15 because I know a lot of people love it. Some people it's just not for, but Bachelor in Paradise feels more realistic. One guy or one girl isn't dating 30 people at once. Exactly. Yeah, it just feels way more realistic. It's like different characters and people and it's not just like one person and like 50 girls. It just, it was giving, it's very old school The Bachelor. I feel like it's very like we're in 2024,
Starting point is 00:37:34 like, I'm not a Love Island girl now. Love, Love Island, like that type of thing. Absolutely. Would either of you do a competition show? Well, Melissa, you've done one, but would you do another one like The Goat or like a Survivor or Celebrity Big Brother? Amazing race would be our dream. Okay. Well, first of all, that is my dream. Survivor is my dream. Yeah, that's our dream. But yes, throw me in any challenge. I'm ready. I can't do all that like naked and afraid or like all this weird stuff.
Starting point is 00:38:01 That's like challenge stuff. Yeah, but no. No prize. Yes. I only said that because my cousin says she's auditioning for it the other day. And I was like, yeah, I'm not doing naked and afraid, but I'll do any other challenge. I'll do like, I could do like amazing race. That is something like even doing like the Valley.
Starting point is 00:38:20 The reason I wanted to get back in TV. I said, I will only do it if my partner is with me because I want to do something that's like real and makes sense. But Amazing Race, 100%. That is something. That would be so fun. Like couples Amazing Race if you guys did it together. I love Amazing Race. You guys could do it together too. That would actually be really funny to watch because I feel like Lucifer is coming. Funny to me.
Starting point is 00:38:44 I'd be putting Kristin on my back at times, be like, let's go. Come on. We can make this fire. I just have two left feet. I'd be tripping and falling along the way. No, I think you'd be tough to do it. But Luke will definitely like, let's go. I bet you guys didn't know this.
Starting point is 00:38:59 I actually taught Kristen how to start a fire with Flint and steel. No way. I love it. No way. Now you're prepared for Survivor if you ever want Flint and steel. That's true. No way. I love it. No way. Now you're prepared for Survivor if you ever want to do it. Exactly. It's hard.
Starting point is 00:39:10 It is. There's definitely a technique to it. It takes practice. We took a survival class. Yeah. And it was hard. I still can't do it. I want to do that.
Starting point is 00:39:18 That's how it feels when I'm at the ranch. I'm like, let's have a survival class, Luke. What should I do? It's so fun to just learn these random things. Never know when you'll need it okay. This is true. Exactly. Hey all I gotta say, maybe not everyone on the valley likes me, but if shit hit the fan, apocalypse, everyone's kind of ask me if I got room for them at the ranch. That's all I'm saying. Wait who doesn't like you? Is this this new tea? Because I'm like, I thought everybody liked you on our show.
Starting point is 00:39:45 I feel like the most outcast of anybody in the group. Wait, no. I disagree. In your defense, that's fair because you are the new, well, not even the newest, but like you're newer to the group. I mean, I feel like that too. And new to LA. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:59 Yeah. But I don't think like not liked. I feel like- Well, I just think like one of these is not like the other and it's me. It's fine. It doesn't get in my head, but it's fine. That's something you should be proud of. Something I should be proud of?
Starting point is 00:40:13 Hey, I'm not mad about it. I wanted to ask you two, if you guys are willing to talk about this, we, I think it was just us three talking at one point about children in the future. Yes. So I thought it was really cool. You told me that you guys would like to potentially freeze your eggs or do in vitro and carry
Starting point is 00:40:31 each other's embryos. Reciprocal IVF. Yep. Super cool. I mean, just tell us more about that. The conversations you had getting to the decision. I don't know if it's a decision yet, but that idea. We both are on the same page with that, which is like the most important thing.
Starting point is 00:40:47 I think we want kids, we would both like to have a genetically, like genetically ours kid. So like, we both want to have like our egg part of the process. It's a little bit more frustrating. You have to go through so much more work to like figure all these things out. There's so many things to coordinate, but we are actively talking about it. We do know that we would like to get married first. So we have a little bit of a timeline in mind. But it is something that we have to think about. It's not a normal, sexual couple. We have to just put it off. We have to think about these things. My doctor,
Starting point is 00:41:19 she even said to me, she's like, don't even... She's like, I wouldn't even freeze your eggs because you can lose when you defrost them, whatever you lose. You might defrost. Microwave defrost, 12 eggs. I swear she told me that she said, listen, if you're so serious with your partner, you guys are, you know, want to do this, she's like, I just suggest making embryos because then you have to freeze embryos. So I'm like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:41:48 That's something we are looking at and have kind of looked at websites and looked at donors. And we might do that route. So even if we get engaged, like say this summer, we're still going to make those embryos even before we, I guess, want to have the kids, because it doesn't make sense for me personally to freeze my ex-wife because I'm a little older than her. So, yeah, we want to do a reciprocal IVF to answer your question. That's so interesting,
Starting point is 00:42:13 because obviously just talking to the two of you about it, which Jasmine, you and I actually did have a discussion when we filmed the valley, which it was sort of nipped down to nothing, but I thought it was, it's not that it's something I hasn't really crossed my mind, but as much as I know about my fertility journey with Luke, which at this point does not include IUI or IVF,
Starting point is 00:42:33 anything like that. But with the two of you, yeah, just being such a more meticulous process, being that it's not like, oh, we'll use Melissa's and then this donor, or we'll use Jasmine's then this donor. Yeah. We need to think very strategically about it
Starting point is 00:42:49 because we also would love our kids to be related as well. So then you'd want to use the same sperm donor and we want our kids to look like both of us. There's a lot of things to weigh out. At the end of the day, whatever family we create, I will be happy with. It's a family with Jasmine. But yeah, it just takes a little more planning. Yeah, sounds like it.
Starting point is 00:43:08 The last question before we get to these listener questions. Who's going to propose or is it up in the air? So we're both going to propose. OK, so we both want to propose to each other. So I think that is what's going to happen. We're both going to do it. We've been talking about how're both going to do it. We've been talking about how we're going to do this because it's going to happen soon. We just
Starting point is 00:43:30 don't, we're trying to figure out how to do it without making it, we know it's going to be obvious because clearly like it's, you just know when it's going to happen because you want to do it like somewhere not in America. So it was like obvious. You see us go out, going in a different way than you can expect. Because at first I was like, I'm going to do it first. That was like my thing to do it first. I don't know. I've always thought that.
Starting point is 00:43:48 The only thing I'll add on that note is we both want to give each other the experience of being proposed to, and we both want to respect each other's families and do it the right way. So once again, it's a little more coordination, but we're still figuring it out. I keep side-eyeing her like, wait, she's so hot. But I think I will probably do it first, I think, right? And then eventually she would do it too.
Starting point is 00:44:09 Yeah. I would hope. So you're better. Give me that experience. I love it. I would love to be a part of the planning for one of you or the other. Honestly, we will use that place. Thank you. Because just thinking about it, how you have to like, all like the things that come with it and like trying to surprise her,
Starting point is 00:44:28 but even though she knows it's coming, it's like hard because with two women, it's like, oh, you know it's coming, but like. Can I come on your baby moon? Absolutely not. Yeah. I mean, I said absolutely. She said yes, no,
Starting point is 00:44:42 because you did not celebrate the baby moon. That's okay, we'll go, and we're gonna have a good time. No, because you did not celebrate at Babymoon. That's okay. We'll go and we're going to have a good time. No, I never want to go to Babymoon. Actually, I never want to go to Big Bear. I don't want to be in the pond. I do want to go to Ponto. Yeah, we need to go to Big Bear to make it a better experience for you.
Starting point is 00:44:57 If we're drinking in the lake, they wouldn't let us in the lake. They were like, you can't go in the water. I said, that was exciting. I was like, I'm not going to boat. Michelle was like, is it a yacht? I was like, Michelle, it's not a yacht. Okay, we're in the water. I said, that was exciting. I was like, I'm gonna go. Michelle was like, is it a yacht? I was like, Michelle, it's not a yacht. Okay, we're in the lake.
Starting point is 00:45:08 It's a pontoon. Do you think that's because Jack's almost drowned that one season of Vanderpump Rules? Well, maybe, I didn't even think of that. I feel like the oldest guy in the group who's from the great state of Michigan surrounded by lakes cannot hold himself up like 50 yards out, like Jesus. Oh, for God, he almost did.
Starting point is 00:45:30 Oh my God, maybe, I don't know, but we couldn't get in the water. And I was so like sad. I was like, and we weren't drinking. I was like, this is boring. I don't need alcohol to have fun, but it was just like, give me something. Maybe we'll just plan a double date couple's vacation
Starting point is 00:45:47 somewhere tropical. Honestly, I'm down to do that. I told her too, I was like, we need to go on a vacation somewhere. Yeah, I was like, a two day, three day, quick cruise. I want to go by a lake. And like, be tubing. You two travel more than anyone I've
Starting point is 00:46:00 ever met in my entire life. We travel so much. We do so many dope stuff. That's why I was saying, I want people to We travel so much. We do so many dope stuff. That's why I was saying, like, I want people to see that. Yeah. I'm gonna do cool stuff. I feel like we don't do enough, though. I'm, like, very... Maybe that's the Aries in me.
Starting point is 00:46:13 I'm like, I can't sit still. What? Like, you were just in Japan. I feel like every single time I blink my eyes and say, oh, are you guys back in LA? You're like... One of you are like, yeah, yeah, but we're leaving on Friday, and we're just... We're going to New Jersey for the weekend.
Starting point is 00:46:26 But then we're going I don't know, you'll be like, then we're going to South America. But then we'll be home for like three days. And then we're going to Asia. And I'm like, what in the flying hell? That's you. Do you guys like doing like classes or anything? Like I would love to I haven't in a long time. Okay, because we love just finding random classes or random experiences
Starting point is 00:46:45 where you're just like, why would you be... That's like the fire starting class. People are like, why are you doing that? I was like, because why not? I'm wondering how to do a fire. Like, damn, there's so much to learn in life. Well, Jenna just asked us to do a class. Yeah. She was like, do you want to... I mean, maybe you guys can come with us. That sounds fun. And to get the groups going back. Woodworking class. I mean, I don't know about the twins. It could be a good experience. Make it work. Could be. I'm very hopeful, guys. Yeah, I'm down. I actually was this close to booking a pasta making class for Kristin and me.
Starting point is 00:47:18 Let's do it. That sounds fun. It'd be really cool. Honestly, there's so many things you can do. Just do it. I will. It's so funny that Kristen's so jealous of all your travel yet She gives me shit that I'm traveling all the time because she can't it's because mom was ovulating and I want you here in LA And you're like I'm going to Spain then I'm going to Indiana and then I'm going fishing with my dad in Michigan Then I'll be back in Colorado and then I'll see you in three weeks I'm like I'm gonna make a baby Can see you right now see you in three weeks. I'm like, I want to make a baby. She just wants to see you. That's exactly. Can see you right now. See you. These screens of ours. Oh, boy. Okay. Lots of listener questions that we haven't even covered
Starting point is 00:47:55 yet. First question is from Shelly Trost. She wants to know, Jazz, what are the differences between filming The Valley and Bachelor in Paradise? Oh, wow. I mean, differences. The Bachelor is not your real life. It's kind of just a month of hanging out, drinking on a beach with your friends, and trying to find love. The Valley is your everyday life.
Starting point is 00:48:22 I think it's more authentic, I would say. Yeah. Bachelor in Paradise, always when I watch it's more authentic, I would say. Yeah. Bachelor in Paradise, always when I watch it, and I have friends who have gotten engaged and married from it, but you're going on vacation for however long you're there. And hopefully, you can make a real life out of it when you're done with the vacation.
Starting point is 00:48:38 Yeah, it's kind of like just a roulette. You're going to like somebody or not, make a connection, and then you don't, then you just have fun with your friends. And that's exactly what happens to me. Got it. And Jaz, this is for you as well. This is from, I'm going to totally just screw your name up. Kat, something Espanol. Jasmine, did the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders really all get along, spill the tea? Very general question, but. Like any sports team, you can say,
Starting point is 00:49:07 teammates have issues, period. But at the end of the day, we knew what we were there for and we would, if there was drama issues, just put it aside and do what you gotta do. But I think there really wasn't because, there's kind of like this order, you're a rookie, you kind of play your part, the veterans are ruling everything.
Starting point is 00:49:26 You just, it's just how it is, you know, but it's, there was never any like fights or anything like that. We were ladies, okay. We're in Dallas and we were America's sweethearts. You were America's sweethearts. Okay, this is from SouthernGal15. This is for both of you. What about your girlfriend makes her so special
Starting point is 00:49:46 that you wanted to date her? I mean, we kind of talked about this, like what you, but if there's like certain characteristics that have like made you fall in love and like continue to stay in love. Yeah, there's, I have two answers and I'll make it quick. The first is like what drew me to her is her energy. Just like when you'd be around her,
Starting point is 00:50:05 when we first met, nothing else mattered. Like it was just all Jasmine. Everything about her attracted me. But I think like staying after that, like what kept our relationship strong is she is like the first person where there is not a concern in my mind that like this is real.
Starting point is 00:50:22 Everything just feels so comfortable. And obviously you gotta work at a relationship no matter what, but I just have no doubts and I've never really felt that before. So yeah. I love that. That's sweet. Aw, that's really sweet.
Starting point is 00:50:34 Thank you. That's really sweet. I think for me, I probably said this already, but she just takes care of me. And I don't wanna say that she takes care of me like in like a, oh, she's like, you know, baby me or whatever, but just I've never had, no, I'm saying like, you really take care of me in ways where like,
Starting point is 00:50:50 you call me out when I'm wrong or like you, not just cooking dinner for me, you just always have been like the support for me that I need, cause I'm very like ADHD and like all over the place, but I needed, I think I needed somebody like you. So I think that is what has like helped me like stay too. Don't I feel that?
Starting point is 00:51:09 You go take that for granted. Like I'm very grateful that I have a partner like this because, like, yeah. I'm gonna be on your side. Yeah, it's true. So that's one thing. And Jazz, this is for you or Melissa, if you want to weigh in on it, of course,
Starting point is 00:51:22 but F Parada, how has being on the Valley impacted your friendships and do you see people differently? Ooh, yeah. You know, being on TV, watching everything playback on TV, it's so different than being in that moment, like with your friends and, you know, having, you know, conversations and things. And it definitely has made me look at things differently because I don't see what you guys are filming together. We're not there when you guys are filming alone. I don't know what anybody's, what they're saying.
Starting point is 00:51:55 So when I see it, I'm just like, okay. It makes you just look at things differently. I don't know if it's making, I don't say like friendships differently. It's just more like making me aware of like how people are moving and how things are happening where I'm like, okay, I see it from this lens, you know, because you just see it when you're in it, I guess. All right.
Starting point is 00:52:18 That makes sense. Can we talk about this kind of like how, you know, just watching everything play out, it's different than what my mind was last summer. No, I think that's a really good point that maybe even long time fans or new fans might not understand is like, just because we're living in it does, and really we talk, but it doesn't mean I was,
Starting point is 00:52:38 I can imagine what it was like to like be in your position when I wasn't there. Like I watched Big Bear on TV, it looked like hell, but I'm actually, I don't know, maybe it wasn't fun for you. But let's just say, maybe it was also kind of fun or it wasn't as bad as it looked or it was a different kind of bad, if you will. Yeah, and I'll give you an example,
Starting point is 00:52:56 where looking back at the balding event, whatever, when was it the balding event? Yes, the balding event. What is the, I don't know what the event is called. The Mondrian, we were at the Mondrian. Mondrian was the balding event though, yeah. Like, you know, when Jesse and Jamie, they're all like, you know, we're not gonna invite them to anything.
Starting point is 00:53:19 And like watching it back, I didn't realize, like watching it back, I'm like, oh, that's good, you know? But in that moment, they're all like, hi, you just didn't, it didn't realize like, watching it back, I'm like, oh, that's good, you know? But in that moment, they're all like, hi, you just didn't, it didn't click to me, like how that looked in that moment or how that came off. But watching it back, I'm like, oh my God, absolutely not. This isn't okay. We shouldn't be even talking this way about anybody.
Starting point is 00:53:38 It could have been, you know, vice versa like me in that situation. I would not want that. So watching it back was kind of like hard. And I think that's a part where I was like, okay, like, so I don't know if it's like a, to answer your question, I don't know, it's like seeing how my friendships are different, just more like, I see how things are, people are moving. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:55 Right. Cause we only live one perspective, but when we can watch it back, we can see other people's perspective and see what they're going through behind closed doors. Exactly. Yeah. So that's like, kind of, I mean, like difficult, I guess. Yeah, very good point. I want to chime in on that too, because it's weird to I want to take it more literally when I'm watching it. I know that there's, you know, editing that goes into it, but I feel like I've gotten to know people better watching it
Starting point is 00:54:20 than my experience with them. And then it like confuses my brain is like, do I go off my true experience or do I go off what I see on TV? Why do dogs suffer from weight issues, skin problems, messy poops and low energy? It could be the popular dog food you put in their bowl each day. Cody was sleeping a lot, wasn't playing,
Starting point is 00:54:36 wasn't doing her normal stuff that she used to do. That's why Dr. Marty, the veterinarian, Forbes magazine called the Miracle Worker, created Nature's Blend. Nature's Blend is a freeze dried raw dog food made with biologically appropriate ingredients like turkey, beef, salmon, duck, and beef liver. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:55:58 It messes with my head like that. Yeah, no, that's a good point. You look at it, you're like, hmm, wow, that is kind of like confusing you a little bit. You're like, well, I thought this person was like Fizz and you're watching like maybe they're not like that. You're like, you just see things in a different lens and it's, yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:15 Yeah, it's weird. It messes with my head, yeah. Because I have never judged someone based off of anything but my experience with them. That's just how I am looked to. Yeah. Yeah. Very good point. Just go off the real experience with them. That's just how I am moved to. Yeah. Yeah. Very good point. Go off the real experience.
Starting point is 00:56:27 Yeah. Exactly. And then this is for Jas, but I'd like to ask both of you, because again, about the value. But Melanie D, Jasmine, is it difficult feeling like you're put in the middle when your friends fight? But Moza, for you too, like even though maybe you weren't filming the valley all the time, you're that's still like, you and Jasmine are a couple you
Starting point is 00:56:49 live together. So is that difficult? I guess on the show or off the show? Yeah, you can go. Obviously, I'm not on the show. So I'm not like the person who's in the middle, but I'm in the middle of watching her being in the middle. And I would say it's definitely difficult. There are so many sides to different stories and things like pop up in ways that are not always expected. So she's constantly trying to navigate the middle of like, I care for this person and I care for this person. And both of them have valid points,
Starting point is 00:57:21 but both of them are wrong in the same way. That's always a tough thing. And like, you know, sometimes people will be like, well, you can't always play the middle. You have to like pick a side. And that's not fair either because different people have different lived experiences and different people are involved in different conversations. So like, it is hard to see like both sides and know you want to defend both people or whatever it might be. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:57:44 No, it is for me, it definitely is hard. It's not easy. And it's one of those things where like normal life, I would be like, listen, I don't give a fuck. I'm bouncing out. Like, I don't care. Like, y'all fight to the death, like whatever. But, you know, since we are this is what we signed up for. You have to have like these opinions and talk. It's really hard because it's like I see both sides to everything that's happening. And I'm just like, OK, you have to have like these opinions and talk. It's really hard because it's like, I see both sides to everything that's happening. And I'm just like, okay, you have your feelings,
Starting point is 00:58:08 you're allowed to have those feelings, you're allowed to have these feelings. But it's just very difficult to see, especially people who were once friends, not be friends. And it's like, I know you guys can bring it back. You know, I know you guys, like just you got you Janet back, like this issue, it is hard because it's like, I know we guys, like just you got you, Janet, Zach, like this issue, it is, it is hard because it's like, I know we all used to be friends.
Starting point is 00:58:28 So in my mind, I'm thinking, why can't we get back there? You know? So that's all I'm thinking about. But I have to remember everybody's entitled to how they're feeling right now. And their experiences. Yeah, and their experiences. And I have to remember that. But it's, it is freaking hard.
Starting point is 00:58:40 It sucks. And I'm just like, Well, and that's a, that's a really good point that you made. I feel like Luke and I talked about this recapping Vanderpump and stuff, but it is freaking hard, it's sus. And I'm just like. Well, and that's a really good point that you made. I feel like Luke and I talked about this recapping Vanderpump and stuff, but it's just that like exactly what you said, Jazz, like you and Melissa specifically, I think as your friends would prefer to not be in the middle. Like, yes, if I called you and said,
Starting point is 00:58:58 oh my God, guess what happened last night? You're gonna listen to me, but you don't have to be in the middle yet on a show like the Valley, a docu-series. I don't know and I don't care, don't have to be in the middle yet on a show like the Valley, a docu-series. I don't know and I don't care, don't fly. Imagine if we were all on TV going, I don't know, I don't care, who cares? Wow, that show would last 13 seconds.
Starting point is 00:59:16 So I think that's a really good point. So we have to talk about these things and it is tough. And like I said, I'm very hopeful and I hope we can all bring it back. But I don't know, but at the same time, I too, I think that it's good to, you know, call each other out for things and say for what it is. I don't know, I just think I'm built different.
Starting point is 00:59:38 I always say this, I think I'm built different. All this drama, I really, I'm just built different, no. I think you handle it really well. And I do think you're the valley whisperer. But you know what? I can't stand, I know it's going to come off. I already know this come off as like this two-faced thing. I already know. I get that. And that's why I'm like, I have to pick sides. But it's not about picking sides because there's right and wrongs on both sides, you know? And
Starting point is 01:00:00 that's why I want to be like, y'all both are wrong and you're both are right. Yeah. Yeah. And I don't think that makes you wishy-washy, flip-floppy, or two-faced, where it can appear that way for other people on other reality shows. I think you're trying to maintain Switzerland, but be very honest about how you feel,
Starting point is 01:00:19 instead of going, I don't care, you know? Well, that's what, I mean, I'm not giving away. Well, watch the finale. Like, in the finale, that's why I was so, I don't want, you know. Well, that's what, I mean, I'm not giving away. We'll watch the finale. Yes. Like, that's why I was so, I don't wanna spoil it, but you know, I was so like heated because it was just really good, felt really heated and I was very checked out after that.
Starting point is 01:00:36 Yeah. Yeah. This is from the Paula Lynn and this is not a question, but just want to tell them that I absolutely adore them and I'm so happy to watch them. Aw, thank you. Thank you. Which I think is so sweet.
Starting point is 01:00:50 That's all about. And Jazz, this is for you from Do It Like Dodie. This is not me, by the way. Does Jasmine regret the infamous choke hold? And then in parentheses, it says she shouldn't. Oh my god. You should not regret it. I don't regret that.
Starting point is 01:01:07 No, I regret being that drunk at that time. No, we still joke about it. It is funny. It's funny. I'm fine. I just regret being that lit. I was writing at home trying to get out of there. This is from Sarah K. Samulaw.
Starting point is 01:01:21 Jasmine, are Kelly and Judy hard taskmasters or softies in real life? So for those of you who don't know, because I didn't know, I text Jasmine and I said, are Kelly and Judy from DCC? Because I have no idea who this is. So if you want to explain who Kelly and Judy are for the people that don't know. Kelly and Judy are the directors of the DCC. They are, Judy is a little softy. Like she means she's very stern, but she's a little softy though Like she's mean, she's very stern,
Starting point is 01:01:45 but she's a little softy though. Kelly, no, she doesn't play games. You know, she doesn't play games. If you watch making the team, you know she doesn't play games, okay? She just tells it how it is. She literally told a girl straight up while we were practicing, she goes,
Starting point is 01:01:57 Kim, you're boring. That was her note. She gave notes to everybody like, okay, your turn was off, Kim, boring. Damn. I'm not joking with you guys. Go back. We joke out all the time.
Starting point is 01:02:11 So Kim's my friend and we always joke, Kim, you're boring. Because that's really what she's doing. And we're like, that's her note. Like, straight to the point. And on last listener question, Rose Pisces 0306, for both of you, what is your favorite TV show or what are you watching now? Doesn't have to be reality.
Starting point is 01:02:27 Just what's your favorite show? What's yours? No, you go first. Oh my God, my favorite show. Okay, my favorite show. What are you watching right now? I love my next level chef. Oh, good one.
Starting point is 01:02:38 But it just finished, so now I'm watching Bridgerton. But good. I'm not like a big TV watcher. She doesn't watch TV. She really doesn't like TV. I'm more of a like, I'll watch old movies, but I watch them the same. She really isn't into TV. Over and over.
Starting point is 01:02:48 Oh, that's such a boring answer. I don't know. What's the next level of meltdown? Yeah, I don't know. Top Chef. Top Chef. Yeah, like Top Chef. We like cooking shows.
Starting point is 01:02:56 Cooking shows and movies that I, girl, I'm like the epitome of watch the same movie like 1700 times. Over and over. Jasmine wants to kill me for it. She's like, can you please watch something else? I'm like, no. Harry Potter, Milano. It's like on my feet be pleased about something else? I'm like, no. Harry Potter, Milana, it's like on my feet over here.
Starting point is 01:03:07 I watch Milana on the plane all the time. So you guys don't know, I just upgraded my DVD collection in Colorado because we rewatch and rewatch stuff. I love it. Cause he doesn't have wifi. I don't keep wifi out there. Oh, I know.
Starting point is 01:03:20 You have it on your hotspot. I choose not to have it cause I'm not there all the time. I'm not gonna pay 150 bucks a month when I'm not there. Anyway, I've got like a hundred DVDs now and it just went up from about 12. So we had recycled them all quite a few times. Oh, I love it. It's pretty funny. Damn. I love it.
Starting point is 01:03:33 Yeah. Movie Naya Luke's. Hey, you know, she hits a fan. I got, I still have a DVD player and all a hundred DVDs. So we're good. That's true. Luke, do you have the rapids? Okay.
Starting point is 01:03:45 Are you ready? Yes. Favorite restaurant? Benny Hanna. That's so basic. I'm sorry. Kitchen Cafe. Kitchen Cafe.
Starting point is 01:03:53 All right. Dogs or cats? Dogs. I would do dogs, but yeah. Road trip or fly? Fly. National park or beach vacation? National park, beach vacation? National park.
Starting point is 01:04:05 Beach. What is your hype song? So like if you're getting ready to go out. Right now, right now it's Stargazing by Miles Smith or something like that. It's new. I literally learned about it three days ago. It's whatever her hype song is in mind. Yeah, that's a good answer. baby. Good answer. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:25 All right. Pizza topping. Pepperoni. Pepperoni. Beer or wine? Wine. Easy. Man, you guys are too easy.
Starting point is 01:04:33 What is your go-to easy meal? To cook? Well, we usually call it lazy meal. You're at home. Lazy meal. Ramen. Some kind of noodle dish. Probably chicken cutlet.
Starting point is 01:04:44 Chicken cutlet. How do you cook it? I mean, that's a cut of meat. Like, how do you make it? Like, what's your... You know, pound it, bread it, fry it. In Italian culture, that's an easy meal. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Fair enough. That was some pasta and some red sauce. I don't know. I just make cheese. That's not easy. That's like a real meal for me. I know. I'm like macaroni and cheese, but like the small stuff for you to add water.
Starting point is 01:05:11 That's a Brahmin. She's like, chicken nuggets. Amazing. All right. That's all I got. Do you have anything else, babe? No, that's great. You guys are so awesome, and I love you.
Starting point is 01:05:20 And I'm so glad our listeners and fans of the show get to know you a little bit better. Because you and me, Jaz, you and Zach are like the unsung heroes.
