I'm here. We're really sorry this came out late as a lot of you know if you follow us on social media my pup Bowie passed away peacefully this past weekend so it has been a hell of a week
Starting point is 00:00:52 and that's kind of all I want to say about that right now I think he was very sick he had kidney disease it was very old it was a long list he lived a good life Kristen really gave him the best life he was a rescue and yeah yeah, I can't imagine him living a better second half of his life than he did with Kristen. So yeah. So it's just been difficult week. So we're coming out with this late again, we apologize, but a couple of things we wanted to go over and then you guys have a bunch of burning questions for us that we are going
Starting point is 00:01:21 to answer in a little round of ask us anything, but a couple of things we wanted to touch on first. I'm really excited that we are going to stage coach this weekend. Luke has never been to a festival ever, a music festival. Not once. Which is so wild to me. My brother is also in town and he's going with us to stage coach. And I basically, I feel like I have to be like, not the babysitter, because you guys
Starting point is 00:01:43 will like take care of me, but like the leader of the polo grounds grounds like the Coachella field. I mean just get me in the gate. Okay Cut me loose. It'll be great. No cutting you loose. I know I'm kidding like as long as you have a leash for me We can't be separated. Okay, something I read that was so weird And I don't know if it's true But I was looking at the like do's and don'ts bring to see if it was different than Coachella Because I've been to many of Coachella in my time not the last few years, but it said no LED lights I'm like what? Dark as shit, and then we have to use our phones for a flashlight and then our phones die
Starting point is 00:02:14 And I don't know about all that so we'll see Maybe I'll bring a tiny flashlight, and if they take it they can just have it that works for me You know I don't know what I'm doing. I just know I'm going we're gonna listen to some cool music My dad is actually in town or not in town. He is in the desert. Yeah, he's down there. We're going to see him there. So that'll be fun. Maybe the first time ever seeing my dad in California. Oh yeah, that's so true. My dad gets to meet your brother. I mean, your dad gets to meet my brother. Amazing. And then just a couple other things.
Starting point is 00:02:42 So I don't know why I feel so hell-bent on defending myself about this because it, when I, even as I'm about to say it out loud, it feels silly, but it hurt my feelings. When they show the scene where I'm talking about being an empath and everyone's like giving their little two cents, I don't know why it fucking hurts my feelings, but it does because then I feel like it's people are saying that like, I'm not empathetic, I'm not sympathetic. And I feel like maybe not what you're seeing in the valley right now. You're not seeing that part of me, but I feel like all of my friends, anyone close to me
Starting point is 00:03:15 knows like I will bend over backwards and like throw whatever I have going on because I feel those feelings from my friends so much. Like if Brittany is sad and hurt, I feel sad and hurt. And I have to like fix that. I, yeah. And I have to agree because I am not an empath. I can very much be like, ah, man, that's tough. I can't really feel what you're feeling, but you know, I hope you get through it
Starting point is 00:03:40 and let me know if I can do anything. That's kind of more my approach. Kristin's like, oh, I used to hold her heart and I see it in her face. She feels things that other people are feeling. Yeah, my heart, like my chest, like the left side of my chest, my heart will actually hurt. My stomach will be in knots. Sometimes my fingers get tingly.
Starting point is 00:03:57 It depends on like what I'm feeling, but I don't know. I don't know why it hurt my feelings so much. So- Because you're an empath. Thank you. So for those of you who feel that I don't know the it hurt my feelings so much. So, um, because you're an empath. Thank you So for those Of you who feel that I don't know the definition of an empath I'm here to read it for you an empath is a person who is highly attuned to the energies and emotions of those around them Maybe considered an empath empaths are said to feel what others are feeling so deeply that they absorb or take on the emotions themselves
Starting point is 00:04:25 Often at the expense of their own emotional well-being. Couldn't be more true. Thank you. And our balancing act between the two of us is my job is to distract you from that sometimes, to try to get you out of that zone where you are maybe feeling too much and don't need to involve yourself in someone else's business. Or like cry at home because someone else is sad and we have shit to do. And I'm like, but I'm just, I can't help, but feel sad because this person's sad or feel angry on behalf of someone. And it really does like affect my day to day at times. It's not anyone's fault.
Starting point is 00:04:59 It's just, it is how it is. And you do balance me that way because you have to put your foot down at times and you're like, look girl, like I get it, but no, we have shit to do or you have this to do and you need to clear your head, take a breath, take a fiber and you know, get back to it. 100%. And I'll say as a less empathetic person that-
Starting point is 00:05:20 You're empathetic though. I'm saying less, just a little less than you. Anyway, I do, you have really close friends and someone's coming after them, obviously, as you've seen on the show. I get worked up when people come after Kristin. They weren't coming after me. I'm not defending myself, but yeah, that does piss me off,
Starting point is 00:05:35 but it doesn't make me an empath, I don't believe. I do feel things when I have friends going through hard stuff, I feel for them. It's just on a whole nother level for Kristin and what I'd say other empaths, people that really truly they feel things differently. Do you remember your Enneagram? I doubt it.
Starting point is 00:05:53 Did I do that? You did. I'm pretty sure I sent it to you a while ago. We'll talk about it on another podcast, but because I can't even remember what my top three were, meaning in order, but I know one of my Enneagrams was the helper that I always want to like help and like fix things and...
Starting point is 00:06:08 This is like not ringing any bells for me. The word Enneagram sounds familiar, but I don't know that I actually did it. I think you wanted me to. We'll do it this weekend while we're laying out at the pool. It'll be so fun. So fun. Are you so excited? And then just one other thing I wanted to talk about because Luke and I were watching some preview clips
Starting point is 00:06:28 of next week's The Valley. I don't know if you guys realize this, but we don't get to see the show except for like a day before everyone else gets to see it. So like, we don't really even know, we know what we lived, of course, but we don't know what's making it to television, right? And there was a scene that we were pretty aware
Starting point is 00:06:44 was going to happen because we've talked about it in our like confessional interview moments that I don't know, Luke, were you dreading it? Cause you brought it up to me a couple of times. You were like, oh man, the scene of just you and I, it's on bravotv.com right now. Yeah, yeah, I was not looking forward to that conversation. But to rewatch it.
Starting point is 00:07:03 Oh, to rewatch and relive it. You know, I don't know, there was, there were some frustrating parts of that conversation. But to rewatch it. Oh, to rewatch and relive it. You know, I don't know. There were some frustrating parts of that conversation. I didn't know exactly how that long conversation would be. I wanted to like donkey kick myself for saying like, well, I'm not gonna say I'm sorry, but, but I wouldn't, however. Like, Kristen, I had it.
Starting point is 00:07:25 It's just like one of those moments where I feel like I can't bite my tongue and I just have to get my thoughts and feelings. And you're like, I know your thoughts and feelings. You don't have to reiterate them. But I'm like, but do you, I just have to say, it's not a last word thing with me. It's like, I need to know that I'm understood. I need to know that the words are coming out of my mouth, my intentions, my actions are like matching
Starting point is 00:07:48 what my true feelings are on the inside. Because clearly as I'm watching the season, it doesn't always read that way. But there was something that you said in that scene that came off not the way it was meant to. And maybe other people won't even notice it, but I feel like I just need to we need to say it Okay, let's do it. Well, go ahead because you said it. Okay. So yeah conversation in the clip that's on right now
Starting point is 00:08:13 It ends with me saying if we're going to continue moving forward, right? And if that sounds like meaning it now a relationship that is not the way it was meant That's not the way it was said either. It was said in, if we're going to continue moving forward with these people, with these friends. Like in this friendly group. Yeah, exactly. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:33 Okay. Thanks for clearing that up. Yeah, so that clears that up. Good job, babe. I don't know why. Again, it just bothered me. I'm me. Here's me.

Addi or flubanserin is FDA approved and has been clinically proven to increase sexual desire in certain premenopausal women who are bothered by a low libido. Addie is for premenopausal women with acquired generalized hypoactive sexual desire disorder HSDD who have not had problems with low sexual desire in the past, who have low sexual desire no matter the type of sexual activity, the situation or the sexual partner. Addie is not for use in men or to enhance sexual performance.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Your risk of severe low blood pressure and fainting is increased if you drink 1-2 standard alcoholic drinks close in time to your addie dose. Wait at least 2 hours after drinking before taking addie at bedtime. Your risk of severe low blood pressure and fainting is also increased if you take certain prescriptions, over-the-counter or herbal medications, or have liver problems. Starting point is 00:11:25 for a $10 telemedicine appointment to find out if Addie is right for you. Well, let's get into some of the questions. Okay. We got some good ones. We got some good goods. Lots of good questions. Okay, we're just gonna kind of switch off
Starting point is 00:11:40 and it's like a little Russian roulette with the questions, you know? Yeah, let's do it. Is Luke open to do competition reality TV shows? Oh hell yeah, please Yes, a hundred percent. I hope that is a part of my future. That is I grew up watching Survivor amazing race I love the competitive nature the social game of it all and I've never done it before and I would love my shot at it You know, you have your show the goat coming out. Yeah, I was just gonna say I want there to be a goat season two and I want you on the goat season two I think you would kill it. There's no way i'll be popular enough to make season two. Maybe season three. Okay fair
Starting point is 00:12:15 You never know never know I guess but but it's like backyard survivor It's like all the the coolest things for me. Right? Right. I had a blast doing it. So you guys tune in May 9th, Amazon Prime, Amazon Freevy. And we have like the best freaking cast ever. So really stoked. Hosted by Daniel Tosh. Yeah, look it up, get excited about it. It is very funny. And it's super entertaining and it's odd too
Starting point is 00:12:36 to pull people from this world of docu-series type reality show and throw them into a competition show with people that have done competition shows before oh for sure I'm not gonna give too much away, but I'll just say my mentality going into the house And it we've kind of talked about it on here a smidgee like or maybe I talked about it in press But like my friend Dan Giesling he's considered like the goat of Big Brother So I had a million questions for him. Luke watched Survivor, I had a million questions for him.
Starting point is 00:13:07 My best friend Phil from back home loves those kinds of shows, especially Big Brother. So I thought I had all of these things in my back pocket and the second I walked through the door, I was like, just me. And it was my first time being on TV again. All of those like Big Brother survivor techniques that they do, it
Starting point is 00:13:25 like went out the window for me. Kristen's like, what's an alliance? What does that mean? Oh my goodness. We tried, we did talk, we talked a lot before she left to shoot this show and it seems like it all went out the window when you landed. Yeah, it's gonna be really good you guys. I can't wait for you to see it. But yes, so Luke, you would love nothing more than to do a competition show. A competition show, 100%. I need that in my life. I mean, Survivor or Deal or No Deal Island, you got to throw that out there. That's like our favorite show right now. A lot of
Starting point is 00:13:52 fun. Boston Rob, been a fan, watched him on Survivor, see him. And this is amazing. So if you want, you love Survivor, if you like a good competition show, check out Deal or No Deal Island. It's my new favorite. Do you realistically think you would do Naked and So if you want you love Survivor if you like a good competition show check out dealer no-deal island It's it's my new favorite Do you realistically think you would do naked and afraid if you could? Because so naked and afraid you guys is like one of our favorite shows ever of all time It's like Brittany watches the office in the background. We have naked and afraid on or shark tank pretty much. Yeah I mean every night that's kind of what we fall asleep. So do you think you would?
Starting point is 00:14:23 Would you do it or would you be like no maybe in like five years? Like if it were an option on the table right now. Right now I'm not anywhere close to ready for it. I've got to put on weight because it's a starvation competition a lot of times. Not a competition. You have to be prepared to not eat for like a week at times and my body is not prepared for that at the moment. But you know if I found out I got six months to prepare, I'd take it. Okay, fair enough. Confident I could pull it off. They do like 14 day fan challenges. Definitely feel very confident I could do that in a 21 day. Be tougher, obviously, because you can kind of starve for two weeks and make it through that, but 21 days depending on where you are,
Starting point is 00:14:59 it can be extremely difficult. I would fucking die. I would be like Gibson, my dog at the dog park where he just eats grass because his tummy hurts. So I would eat grass or like any leaf I saw. I would be like, okay, that can be food. Yes, you would die. I would be so sick. You would definitely die. Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:16 Next question asking me if I ever miss Michigan and I do. I really, really, really do. I don't miss Michigan winters and it feels like that's really when my family wants me to come out. It was the holidays. Yeah. Yeah. But I'd rather celebrate Christmas in July. 100%. I agree. Why not? I miss Michigan summers, Michigan falls, like a whole lot. At the same time, Detroit can be suffocating humidity and heat in the summer sometimes. Yeah. Shout out to Detroit. We had that NFL draft. It's amazing. That was so good. Next question.
Starting point is 00:15:46 Luke, why are you still going back and forth to Colorado? Have we not explained this enough? Why am I still going back and forth to Colorado? Well, you know, you see, there isn't room. If I were to try to bring everything of mine from Colorado, we couldn't fit it all in this apartment. No, you have containers. I have 40 foot shipping containers full of stuff there's a lot of stuff that needs
Starting point is 00:16:09 sold we'll put it that way and some stuff that needs donated but at the same time I have a lot going on out there still there's a lot of reasons for me to be out there I'm not going to sell my property for California at any point ever yeah. I love that we have Colorado to escape to. Like even if you're gone for a couple of weeks and you come back, I like that I can also leave and go spend time in Colorado. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:16:34 And you know, I've got a construction project going on right now. Every time I go back, I check something else off the list, but doing it all myself is making it really slow. So I did meet with subcontractors. We're making things move forward. And Kristen, today, you just told me and agreed once I finish this project, you will spend a month straight,
Starting point is 00:16:52 maybe more in Colorado with me. I think like a month. I don't think we have more than a month for me to be able to be gone from California. But I said yes to a month, and that's when we can make a baby if it doesn't work out here. That is how we will make a baby because. It's how we did make a baby. it doesn't work out here. That is how we will make a baby because...
Starting point is 00:17:05 It's how we did make a baby. It's how we got pregnant the first time and I just, it's LA. You know how I feel. Yeah. So anyway. And this is just a comment. You and Luke would give the most caring love to a baby rooting for you too. So thank you so much MLKennedy63 for that comment.
Starting point is 00:17:23 You are so sweet. What is our favorite thing about each other? Favorite thing about each other. You can't say my boobs I wasn't thinking physical Uh, my favorite thing about Kristen is when she's not in los angeles. You stop make it positive. It is positive Okay You're so relaxed and so happy and go lucky when there isn't all this stress and anxiety around you And that's the person that I met and fell in love with so as things have gotten really busy here
Starting point is 00:17:51 you know the anxiety the stress the road noise the Rats the all sorts of things around here seem to build up on a daily basis So wait by rats do you mean part of the cast or you mean like the actual little the little rodents? I was talking about rodents, but that was a good point. Anyway, shady palm trees. What is my favorite thing about you? I don't know. There's lots of things.
Starting point is 00:18:15 I like how calm you make me feel. I like that when I'm stressed out, you give me 12 hugs a day. We aim for that. I try. You push me away sometimes. I like that you're, I know sometimes I'm just like, I wanna feel my feelings and be sad. Now I love what an amazing dog parent you are.
Starting point is 00:18:31 I love how great you are with children. I don't have one thing. I mean, there's just like a million. I could go on and on and on. You know, most people probably don't like this, but actually, no, I can't even say it that way. I was gonna say how you are just absolutely bound by the truth. Yes.
Starting point is 00:18:48 At least the, the you that I know, obviously old Vanderpump rules. Correct. Stuff. Sometimes you may put your foot in your foot in your mouth, but. Well, I tend to put my foot in my mouth often sometimes, but I don't lie. Right. And that was what was so weird about the, uh, the Capri dinner. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:04 The Capri dinner is that these friends quote unquote, we're telling her to lie. And it's like, just say you did it and just, just be done with it. I'm like, lie and say you made it up. And it's like, okay. So everyone that just said that admits that you're not lying, yet they're going to keep hating you for apologizing accurately. It's just confusing to me. Right.
Starting point is 00:19:22 I do need to slow down. I know that I just need to slow down because then I won't mix up words, which you explained to me in the episode coming up next week in the scene that is on, again, guys, we're not giving anything away. It's on bravotv.com, it is on Instagram, et cetera. What you say in the scene that when I switch a word
Starting point is 00:19:41 or change a word, it can have a completely different meaning. And that's just, I think, because my mouth is trying to catch up to my brain, and I just start word vomiting. But you're right, I just need to slow down. You know what I really love about you? What, babe? I love how you are willing to drop whatever you're doing.
Starting point is 00:20:01 The sacrifices you're willing to make for the people you love. Thank you. Is something you don't find that often Yeah, so I love real hard you do you love very hard? At your own detriment live laughs love give me Taylor Swift lyrics Next question what has been for me my biggest challenge being back on reality TV and it says by the way So glad you're back.
Starting point is 00:20:25 Thank you, Stephanie Unger. I hope I said that right. I think the biggest challenge being back on reality TV is the unknown. I struggle a lot with anticipatory anxiety, like making up scenarios in my head of like what could happen. I have a very difficult time making decisions because I'm afraid that it's stupid. It kind of sounds dumb as I'm saying it out loud, but like what the outcome could be if I choose this or not even choose, but if I decide this or I decide that I like picked
Starting point is 00:20:53 the wrong thing. So I have all these fears about the future in that way. So I think being back on reality TV, knowing what it was like to be on Vanderpump Rules and knowing like, if I say this, maybe it'll be spun that way or edited a certain way or taken out of context. And I wanted to make sure that I was really living like my truth and my most honest, like vulnerable self on this season of the Valley. So I think that was the most difficult thing. And back when during Vanderpump Rules, it was just kind of like fly by the seat of my pants. So I think that was the most difficult thing. And back during Vanderpump Rules, it was just kind of like fly by the seat of my pants. Like who cares?
Starting point is 00:21:29 I don't know. I think you get that heading into it. But then when you are there and living, that's just like your at home anxiety time. I think when you're out and you're with friends, you can't help but be your true self. Yeah. It just is what happens no matter how much preparation
Starting point is 00:21:42 or talk or be like, hey, here's the plan. We're gonna to go at it like this. It's like, who we get there. Out the window. Just might as well light it on fire. What was the plan? Don't remember. Yeah, you're right. Totally. Am I friends with Michelle? Uh, I am not friends with Michelle. Our friendship ended when you saw that happen on the valley and we have not spoken since. so that is the status as of right now. You know I did see she made a comment recently I don't know if it was a podcast or where
Starting point is 00:22:11 I saw it online anyway she's the one that has said absolutely not friends with you so one person can't be friends with someone that isn't their friend so I mean that's that. You know it made me really sad for a while I tried, but I also have to believe, you know, whether it was the way I conducted myself, whether it was like her fears about something, whether it was reality TV. At the end of the day, like my friends on Banner Pump Rules and like all of our relationships have been tested
Starting point is 00:22:36 and we've all decided like what to put up with and what not to put up with. So Michelle's allowed to do that. My point of view is you're my friend for a reason, a season or a lifetime. She's just not a lifer and that's okay. That's okay. And you never know, you're gonna talk things out
Starting point is 00:22:51 and obviously what they were going through, and you know, I can't say exactly what I wanna say, but yeah, what they were going through, obviously there's some additional stress there that led to some actions and there can be reconciliation. I believe it's possible. So I wouldn't completely rule it out. You can't say never. I cannot say never or forever. I try not to live in absolutes because I used to do that. Like never talk to this person again or like
Starting point is 00:23:18 forever this or whatever. So I don't know. We'll see. But as it stands right now, no we are not friends. We do not speak. That is true. All right, babe. Did you ever call me a douchebag? I have never, never called you a douchebag and you damn well know it. And I was shocked when you said that. I've called you a name or two when we fought. I've probably called you an asshole. I've definitely said fuck you before, which is not nice in the heat of the moment. But I've never called you a douchebag.
Starting point is 00:23:45 Like you're the opposite of a douchebag. But you have said you look like a douchebag. When? I don't keep notes, but I know I've heard that come out of your mouth. You have not been like, you're a douchebag. You're such a douche. No, you've never said it to me like that. But there's been me in the douchebag has been in the same sentence.
Starting point is 00:24:03 I think you're turning into Kristen from the Valley right now and you're like confusing it with another word. I swear. I swear. I've never called you a douchebag. Never never never never never. Maybe you said if you're going to be friends with Jesse, I will call you a douchebag. Maybe that's what you said.
Starting point is 00:24:21 That sounds like something I would say for sure. Not the same thing, babe. Okay. Okay. So Luke, did I really call for sure. It does, yeah. Not the same thing, babe. Okay, okay. So Luke, did I really call you a douchebag? No. Thank you. You did not call me a douchebag.
Starting point is 00:24:31 I rest my case. Pace rested. Are you disgusted about Janet and Michelle trying to ice you out? So I think this question is referring to the last episode at the Mondrian when we're at yet another lovely family dinner. Anyone realize this is a really bad idea to have these group dinners with this group of people? But I assume that they're referring to after you and I left, what we got to see was Michelle
Starting point is 00:24:57 or Jesse saying he wants us out of the group. Michelle then saying that if we're there, they're not going to be there and Janet saying I'm not coming to any of her shit anymore. I'm not disgusted by it, but I think it's really funny because like, Oh, I kind of helped create this group. Nice try. From my perspective, you know, that's almost like alleviating, especially with just the way that's true.
Starting point is 00:25:21 The way Jesse's been acting the whole time. I'm like, wait, they're going to kick us out and think we're gonna be upset about it at least i'm not gonna be upset about it hell yeah we gotta focus on us baby that's what i'm talking about janet and michelle if you're listening to this reality tv 101 if you try to ice someone out you make them that much more relevant it's true i didn't know that oh it's true. I'm still very green to this whole world. I will say on season one, Sheena would attest to this on season one of Antipump Rules before we started filming. I think I've talked about this on a podcast way back in the day, but me, Tom, Jax, me,
Starting point is 00:25:57 Tom Sandoval, Jax, Stacey and Katie all met up and we were like, okay, so if we just can't give Sheena any attention, let's just like ice her out of the group. She's like not one of us. And it just made her a million times more relevant. And without Sheena, we wouldn't have had the beginning of season one, episode one. So that's just one. If you guys start watching docu-series type reality TV, notice when people try to ice
Starting point is 00:26:19 people out how much more relevant they become. So I'm not disgusted. Thank you so much, Janet and Michelle. Just kidding. No, I'm not disgusted. Thank you so much Janet, Michelle. Just kidding. No, I'm not going to be a cunt like that. I mean, I'll say thank you. It was certainly, yeah, alleviated a lot of my stress going on. We don't have to be around you guys. Yeah, 100%. I was like, hell yeah. Thank goodness. That is exactly how we felt that day. Next, next question is would I or we ever consider a home birth?
Starting point is 00:26:47 I have thought about this. I have a lot of friends who have had midwives done home births for me. That's a hard fucking hell no. Give me like, what is it called? Epidural. Like I want to be in a hospital. I want it to be so like, no, my anxiety. No, I would rather not as well But I I commend all women that want to do that that do carry out that plan. I think it's beautiful I think it's just for some people and I'm not one of them. It's how I feel right now There's there's also I think at address don't slap me for your age to being at a hospital just makes more sense
Starting point is 00:27:23 I mean like I can't that'd be Ida would have nightmares leading up to it if that was the plan like what if something goes wrong and we don't have a full medical staff around like I that would yeah, and I think about like You know as i'm sure a lot of our listeners as you guys know like Sheena had a really terrifying thing happen when she was giving birth this summer And so all of those anxious thoughts like intrude my happy thoughts. So it's not for me. That's what I'm saying right now, but that's where we're at. Hey there podcast listeners. Let's talk about something many of us can relate to. The dreaded pre-period week. You know what I don't miss at all? That vicious week before the period. Personally during that
Starting point is 00:28:03 time I used to feel like I wanted to crawl out of my own skin. And those cravings, oh boy, I could have eaten my own handoff if it was rolled a batter and deep fried. Plus, feeling a bit down or off was just part of the package. But guess what? It doesn't have to be that way anymore.

I mean, the only thing I've noticed is that sometimes we just, we talk about it more than
Starting point is 00:29:15 I think either of us would like to. Like we'll catch ourselves doing something fun and lovely, but then we read a comment or like it comes on the screen or someone says something about it and we're like, oh, and then we kind of bitch to each other, not about each other. And it's kind of annoying, but also we need that venting. Right. That's kind of the only thing I think that has affected our relationship. It was, I'll say it was a tough summer that it was definitely a different, totally different experience. The first time I spent that much time straight here without going anywhere else.
Starting point is 00:29:48 And I definitely got homesick. I think it's obvious that I like open spaces, not sirens and street noise. And I can deal with not having Postmates and Amazon taking three, four days instead of next day. That's fine with me. I'd take that over road noise and I honestly, the kind of the culture here. It's just convenience.. I'd take that over road noise and
Starting point is 00:30:11 It's just convenience like I actually hate how much I've become a slave to convenience at times It's very like when I can step back and look at myself. I'm like girl like stop being so fucking lazy You know, but it's just so easy here But if I were in Colorado when I am in Colorado for an extended period of time, I wouldn't even think about it No and I think I know we're on the same page that we want to find the right balance where we have a good size yard. There still is at least a couple options for Postmates, you know, there, there are options because there are nights where it's like, Oh yeah, absolutely do not
Starting point is 00:30:38 feel like cooking and don't want to do a microwave dinner. So let's order something those days, you know in Colorado Sometimes it is kind of sucks, you know, we drive to we end up going to subway because it's open 24 hours Yeah So they're looking for the balance the place where we can I can be close to nature Closer to nature than I am now and can still have all these modern conveniences that city suburbs allow So do you think it's like affected our relationship though? Like I know it affected you of course
Starting point is 00:31:08 I personally do not feel any less connected to you if if anything it's like way more because we actually like live together That's what I would say, you know, I hadn't been put in a position where I felt the need to defend you before So if anything it made us closer, yeah, are you looking forward to the reunion? We do not know if we are gonna have a reunion Yeah. Are you looking forward to the reunion? We do not know if we are gonna have a reunion guys. I'm gonna be honest with you. Uncertain at the moment. Uncertain.
Starting point is 00:31:31 So you know I kind of was. To be honest my plan was to smoke a joint first and go just chill out. I'd be lounging in the chair and just be I guess ready to chime in when it was my time. Yeah but we'll see. I don't know. I was too because I do feel like well I don't wanna give anything away. I'll leave it'll see. I don't know. I was too, because I do feel like,
Starting point is 00:31:45 well, I don't want to give anything away. I'll leave it at this. I feel like when you guys see the finale, I feel like there's some things left unanswered or not. Unresolved. Unresolved, yeah. So in that way, I was looking forward to reunion, but we don't know, yeah, uncertain.
Starting point is 00:32:03 Completely uncertain. So what are our zodiac signs, baby? Well, happy belated birthday, Luke. Thank you. So Luke is a Taurus and I am an Aquarius. Very much little free-spirited air sign, water baby. I'm right on the cusp almost of Pisces and I think that's where like all my emo comes from
Starting point is 00:32:22 and you're definitely stubborn as hell. Okay, so you gotta explain more to me. Sure. This sun and moon sign stuff, is this our sun signs? It's our sun sign, correct. Okay, how do we figure out our moon signs? I need to look at your birth chart. Okay, we did that.
Starting point is 00:32:36 We did before. I have my birth chart. My sister had like a whole book made for me, like a little booklet type thing. A whole book? Well, it's like a book, like it's like a little booklet, like a bunch of printed papers that are like bound together that she had done for me that has like my whole natal chart. So I'd have to look at yours.
Starting point is 00:32:53 Okay, interesting. Yeah, or maybe Ali, Bali can look at it. Sure. Why not? Might as well bring an expert in. How many kids do we want together? Okay, on the count of three, so we'll go three, two, one, and then say the number.
Starting point is 00:33:04 Okay. Three, two, one, and then say the number. Okay. Three, two, one, two. Two. Yes, you said it first. What are you counting down? Two is the plan. I think the only thing that would disturb that is if we had one and then had twins.
Starting point is 00:33:15 Yep, and then we gotta have another. We gotta have another. Yeah. Kristen doesn't like odd numbers. Like OCD doesn't like odd numbers. Yeah, that's true. You're one of three though. I'm one of three.
Starting point is 00:33:25 But my brother and I are only 15 months apart and my sister's six and a half years older. So it was like kind of different. Yeah, it is different, but you know, we're both middle children. Yes. Well, we already kind of said one of our favorite things about each other,
Starting point is 00:33:38 but what's your least favorite thing about me? My least favorite thing? I'm trying to think what my least favorite thing is about. When I get upset. Yeah, I actually I was talking about this the other day in our little confessional moments. It was like, what does it look like when we fight? And I said, it's just stubborn and like snippy. That's what I think of when we fight. It's like, for me, we've had one seriously heated argument one mage one one bad fight. Yeah Yeah, but otherwise I feel like we're just stubborn and snippy. It's been tiffy. Like we've had yeah, obviously had tips There was a big fight. Yeah that happened That was that got nasty and we got our apologies and worked through it and it's all good Yeah, that's why my least favorite thing though Cuz I like that you're stubborn in a way because I like that you stand your ground
Starting point is 00:34:25 I love that about you But when you're moody which isn't like super often, but I think it's just when you're moody and I'm like, what's wrong? What's wrong? What's wrong? My least favorite thing is when When I'm moody and Kristen won't just like let it be when I'm like cruising in neutral because I don't like not feeling much today Yeah, it's like what's wrong. Are you mad at me? You got to be mad at me. Something's wrong. I'm cruising in neutral, because I don't, not feeling much today, person's like, what's wrong? Are you mad at me? You gotta be mad at me, something's wrong.
Starting point is 00:34:48 I'm like, no, I'm fine. Just chilling, I'm fine. Yeah, you're in neutral and I'm always real low or real high. Exactly, yeah. You're peaks and valleys and I'm not always neutral, obviously, but there are some times where it's a whole day,
Starting point is 00:34:59 I'm cool cruising in neutral, just doing mundane things. Walking the dog, dishes, laundry, cruising around, not bumping music, not being all bubbly. You're very responsible, but you're a lot of fun. Thanks baby. You're a good time. You're a lot of fun.
Starting point is 00:35:15 Thanks, boo. Luke, this is for you. How is Luke's mental health post-filming? I know he has mentioned that he didn't love it. My mental health post-filming. And would you do it again? Let's say post-filming was better than during filming. A little relieved. Totally.
Starting point is 00:35:33 But yeah, I'd do it again. I think, to be honest, came in way too naive to what this world is. And having a season under my belt, I know a lot more now and I consider myself a fast learner. I'm gonna pat myself on the back with that. For sure. And believe that season two would be, yeah, it'd be fun. I think, hopefully it better be more fun than last season.
Starting point is 00:35:57 Yeah, you always say, which I love, it's like you always land on two feet. I always land on my feet, yeah. And I don't always. You can get me. Sometimes on my knees or my wrists, not on my knees like that always land on two feet. I was lying on my feet Yep, and I don't always can get sometimes on my knees or my wrists not on my knees like that guys Damn it, but like on my wrists or my back It just all sounds like sexual positions. Yeah, yeah moving forward. Well, you do. Yeah land on your back in your bed This is what people hated about us during the season was all the sex talk But it was like we did talk about other things, you guys.
Starting point is 00:36:25 They just chose those moments to air. And we do, we remember before Balancing Act, we had sex, love, and what else matters. So yes, when I watch those parts, I'm a little like, okay, it's a little cringe because it's on national television, but we're a good time. It's also a little cringe because, you know, my birthday, I got a birthday card from my grandma.
Starting point is 00:36:43 She says she loves seeing me on TV and I'm like hand over face yeah she is seeing and hearing all of this and my mom listens to every podcast I'm very open with my mom very open yes but not as open as some things I've said on this podcast so there's I don't know my face flushes it's not one of those things you're blushing right I really have no control. I feel hot. Is it warm in here? My face turns red if I'm hot, if I'm cold, if I'm embarrassed or my face just,
Starting point is 00:37:12 I don't know if it's my Irish blood, what it is, but my face gets so red. Just got beat red, sometimes purple red. If I work out really hard, it's, yeah. I don't even recognize myself. I'm a dork. All right, honey. If budget were no issue, what is your dream vacation destination?
Starting point is 00:37:28 So budget were no issue, it would be like going around the world minus a few places. That's not a destination. Okay. If I could choose one destination, it would be in Kenya, where I could go stay at the giraffe hotel. African Safari. No, I don't. Yeah, you want to do safari.
Starting point is 00:37:45 I literally want to rent out the entire giraffe manor and fly all of my friends there. And feed giraffes out the window. Yes. And Ariana and I both adopted, quote unquote, where we like fund. I had a baby giraffe. And Ariana, I'm pretty sure it was a baby rhino.
Starting point is 00:38:01 She's the one who sent me the information at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Foundation, which is in Africa. So I would always, I wanna go meet little Kiko, my little giraffe. Yeah, that'd be sick. So that would be my A number one. Number two would be Bora Bora.
Starting point is 00:38:15 Mine is still New Zealand. My trip got canceled this year. New Zealand is a place I wanna go and I would really like to spend at least two weeks there because there's just so much I want to see and do. Kristen won't be participating in some of the extreme stuff I want to do like bungee jumping, but that's on my bucket list. I might bungee jump. I doubt it. You're terrified of heights. You get sick. I love skydiving. Yeah, but you get to just fall out of a plane. Yeah, this is like you're standing on the edge of a bridge.
Starting point is 00:38:42 Can I do it blindfolded? That sounds safe. This is like you're standing on the edge of a bridge. Can I do it blindfolded? That sounds safe. Kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it? Not really. No? I still did it. Okay, so New Zealand experience.
Starting point is 00:38:51 Would you do it together? Like they do sometimes couples where you're like, we can hug and like- Oh yeah, so if it breaks, we die together? Sure. Okay. Got morbid really fast. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:01 Oh my goodness. Okay. Have you or I talked or hung out with any Vanderpump Rules people lately? Yeah. Yeah, a lot. Katie still lives a few doors down. She texted me a bunch this week when my dog passed away. Ariana sent me the most amazing flowers from Ariana, Maya, and Kitty.
Starting point is 00:39:21 We also talked. I was just with Tom Schwartz at Watch What Happens Live. We saw Tom on Tuesday. I will say Lala and I are not friends as well, but she did send me a very nice text as well about Bowie. And we'll see Sheena this weekend, stage coach, Ambrock. So same usual suspects.
Starting point is 00:39:39 Yeah, all of it. And there's one separate, I haven't seen Sandoval recently, but I bump into him from time to time. Yes, and you guys just, I hear all your comments and your DMs like, how can he be friends with your ex Tom? Well, because Tom and I broke up like 11 years ago
Starting point is 00:39:57 and I strangely enough do not consider him my ex anymore. I consider him Ariana's ex. And I personally don't have a friendship with Tom. I'm polite when I see him, of course, but my heart is with Ariana and knowing how she feels at this time that is more important to me. And I don't know, that's just the same respect
Starting point is 00:40:16 that I would want, but I don't have any like, I don't hate Tom Sandoval by any means. And I don't care if Luke hangs out with him because it doesn't affect my relationship with Luke. Luke's a big boy. He's allowed to do whatever he wants, you know? Yeah. And yeah, I happen to spend some hours at a bar
Starting point is 00:40:31 with Tom from time to time. It's not gonna change who I am. No, exactly. And he's always been a good guy to me. I've got, I have no problems with Tom. All right, Kristen, are you in a better or good place with Jasmine, Janet or Michelle? So we already covered the Michelle thing.
Starting point is 00:40:45 Janet and I are still the same. I would not call her a friend. I don't talk to her. We did have a little conversation, which I think she's said, I think on Britney's podcast or something like that, where we did speak briefly at the premiere party. She showed me photos of her baby, who's absolutely beautiful, and that's kind of it.
Starting point is 00:41:10 She and Jason both sent Luke and I, you know, a nice text about Bowie as well, which I thought was very kind, but I don't know. I feel like right now for me with Janet, like I'm seeing Janet be like, well, you know, with Kristin, like, we'll see what happens. And then like five minutes later, she's on watch what happens live, like not being the same way.
Starting point is 00:41:29 I don't know. We're not friends. Love Jasmine, Jasmine and her girlfriend, Melissa, which I hope you guys get to see more of if we get another season of the Valley, we're going to be seeing them at stage coach this weekend. So we'll see them tomorrow. We will love Jasmine, love Melissa. They're great.
Starting point is 00:41:44 Yeah. You should get to know Melissa. She's a cool cat. Cool cat for sure. And this is Luke, how do we handle hard or difficult conversations and what is the best way to start them? How to start?
Starting point is 00:41:56 That's a great question. And I do not have really an answer about how to start them because I sometimes tend to run away from starting the conversations. You absolutely run away. Okay. So for the hardest conversations that we've had, it has been beneficial to have a third party to kind of keep the conversation going and take away the option to leave a conversation to like run or just be like, no, you know, I can't talk about this now. Let's talk about it later. Because that is, was actually one of the big issues
Starting point is 00:42:28 in our big fight was I had gotten frustrated with not having difficult conversations that I felt like we needed to have. So yeah, it's tough, it is tough. I think just in a calm environment, you bring up what you wanna talk about, I guess. You say, hey, I've got something that's really bothering me, and I would like to get on the same page.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Or if it's not something bothering you, if it's like, I want to talk about our future, and it's something I don't think we've been able to get on the same page with. Actually, you know what I'll say about your question from earlier? What? You get so frustrated when I talk about the future,
Starting point is 00:43:02 like further than a month ahead, pretty much. I'm talking about a year, two years, five years. I love that you're a dreamer because you're so logical, but you're also a dreamer. But I do get stressed out when you're like, oh, man, in five years, and we're going to do this, and this, and this. And I'm like, oh, my god, I have to think about the next hour because of that anticipatory anxiety
Starting point is 00:43:22 that I'm trying to keep under control. I get it. But I love that about you. And I'm trying to like keep under control. I get it. But I love that about you and I'm trying to get better at it. Well, and I want to tag on to what you were saying. So I think with difficult conversations, something that I need to keep working on practicing, but a very good tool that my therapist had given me was, which I think we talked about this on sex love before, but tabling conversations. So something my therapist has also told me,
Starting point is 00:43:47 which you kind of said, Luke, but like if you wanna talk about something that's a bigger conversation or a difficult conversation is to introduce it, number one, when you're not fighting, or arguing, or when you're actually in like the best of all moods, even though that seems a little weird, like why do I wanna bring this up if we're both really happy? Much better to do it then
Starting point is 00:44:06 than when you're maybe arguing about something different and then going, well actually, now I wanna talk about A, B, C, D, E, and E, you know what I mean? Yeah, when things get heated, you have to set things aside, but I don't think that's really the question. It's a good tool.
Starting point is 00:44:20 But tape, also tape, it's a tool, but I think that it's important to talk about things when you're in a good mood and when also tape, it's a tool. But I think that it's important to talk about things when you're in a good mood and when you guys are getting along really well. And I also think having it open for either person to table the conversation, even just for like 20 minutes or an hour.
Starting point is 00:44:34 So if something gets to a point where the other person isn't quite ready, they're allowed to say, okay, I'm gonna table this. Can you just give me 20 minutes or 30 minutes or an hour? And then it's up to that person to bring it back up again. But what tabling means, it's as literal as it sounds, is like you take that question, that issue, you put it over, metaphorically,
Starting point is 00:44:55 onto the table over there, and then you pick it back up, you bring it back in once you've had a moment to digest it. That's what works for me. It's a good tool. It doesn't have to do with initiating a difficult conversation, but. It's handling. The question was handle.
Starting point is 00:45:11 Oh, Handle hard or difficult and what is the best way to start them? Handling it when it gets, when it starts getting heated. The best way to start them, I don't know. I'm like word vomit central. So if something's bothering me, I just do it, I just say it. I would suggest not saying it in like a snarky or shitty way. Do your best to keep it kind and productive
Starting point is 00:45:32 as best you can. That's my only advice. What do you think about starting? I'm not an expert in this area. That's fair. I think you handle it well. I think it is difficult. I try, there's what I call a medium
Starting point is 00:45:47 ground that is sometimes hard to find in couples that is like not being too passive and not being too aggressive to initiate the conversation because you're too passive it can get brushed off and pushed off and then some frustration might build. If you're too direct and aggressive it can basically put someone on the the defensive right away when you just want to have a conversation. So this finding the middle ground, that right tone, right timing, it is difficult. And know your person too. I mean, everyone's very different.
Starting point is 00:46:15 Luke and I are just saying from our own personalities and our own relationship, but know your partner. Kind of know what their triggers are. Take all of that into consideration and have like empathy for your person and vice versa. That's it from the non-therapist on that one. Luke, who's your ultimate dinner party guest? Dead or alive? Whatever.
Starting point is 00:46:36 Open-ended. Well, my childhood, what's the word? Blanket. Hero? Hero. That's a good word. Oh my goodness. Yeah, my childhood hero was Steve Irwin He unfortunately passed too soon
Starting point is 00:46:48 But I would still say if it's you know, we can come up some anyone dead or alive. It's Steve Irwin still What about Bindi Irwin his daughter? Would you like to have dinner with her? I think that'd be really cool. That'd be cool. I follow Robert Irwin. Yeah his son. Yeah, he's spitting images Yeah, they are. I would actually so to combine the Greatest trip ever would be New Zealand and Australia and let's just take a month or six weeks Like they like they do holiday in Europe. We'll take a holiday like that and we'll go to the zoo in Queensland Cool. Queensland. Yeah, Queensland. You said in Queensland. Cool. Queensland. Yeah. Queensland.
Starting point is 00:47:26 You said it right. Queensland. Queensland. Okay. So Steve Irwin, is there anyone now or anyone currently with us? You know, or is it just, you can just be Steve Irwin. You know, you probably don't even know this name. Okay.
Starting point is 00:47:38 But. Give it to me. Steve Rinella. Steve Rinella. Steve Rinella. Rinella. Is it a sports person? No it is not. He is a hunter. A famous hunting show. I was like is he on Wicked Tuna? No. No. He is a like a
Starting point is 00:47:56 very philosopher type guy. I think we have some similar some very similar principles about hunting and using every part of the animal he Shows called meat eater. I think he's a cool guy and I would love to have a conversation with him someday Maybe I can go on his podcast one day. Okay. Shout out Luke What are three things that they that people don't know about you three things most people don't know about me Let's say one. I Played professional ultimate frisbee right out of college. That's true. One more thing. I was allergic to horses as a kid but I've
Starting point is 00:48:30 grown out of it. Oh I actually didn't even know that. Tom Schwartz is allergic to horses. Hmm. Interesting. What's the third thing people don't know about you? Third thing people don't know about me. This just popped my head. It's kind of funny. You haven't told you this because it's not that big a deal but I have fallen asleep in a booth at a restaurant completely sober. I can see that happening I just get tired sometimes you really can I'm not narcoleptic, but if I'm comfortable I can fall asleep Yeah, you're like baby narcoleptic narcoleptic like you can't you literally will be like I'm so tired You'll sit on the couch and it's like your eyes are closed all of a sudden you want one boom. You're out
Starting point is 00:49:04 100% even in bed same thing you roll over and you're like, okay I'm gonna fall asleep and all of a sudden you're dead asleep It's a it's a talent. It's a gift Amazing it really is a fucking present dude. Oh, this is an easy one. Yeah, do we both smoke weed? Yes. Yes I cannot wait. I'm going to spark up in T minus 15 minutes. So yes, hard yes. Yeah. And Nia messaged Justin said, love you too.
Starting point is 00:49:31 We love you so much. So this is for me about air sculpting. How do I like the air sculpting results so far in this person did cool sculpting? So I'm not here to like knock what anyone else does. I too have tried cool sculpting. I only did it once on my stomach and it wasn't my jam. It was very painful as it gets really, really cold and then you go very numb.
Starting point is 00:49:53 And then when they take it off, once you get your body temperature comes back to normal or goes back up to normal, it's like very painful. So it really wasn't my jam. I love air sculpt as you guys have seen. I posted about it a million times, I saw the results really quickly, like the scarring is nothing, it's just like these tiny little dots which I think are even gonna get smaller over time. The whole procedure, you know, just check my
Starting point is 00:50:16 Instagram out or go to Air Sculpt's page but I recommend it to anyone who's interested for sure. Why does none of the cast ever mention on our podcasts that Lisa Vanderpump is an executive producer of The Valley? So I found this out when our press release first came out about The Valley because Lisa's not hands-on. I just wasn't aware. Now I am aware, but she doesn't have anything to do with the day-to-day or the production at all.
Starting point is 00:50:44 I mean, I haven't talked to her since I left Vanderpump Rules. So Kristen, your boobs look amazing. Thanks babe. These aren't, I mean, those are my words about every day, but this is a, it doesn't ask me anything. Kristen, your boobs look amazing.
Starting point is 00:50:58 Did you have an augmentation? I did not. It's just weight gain, honestly. And they grew when I gained weight, which I never thought in a million years would happen because when I was really, really, really thin, late 20s, early 30s, I could not gain weight in my boobs to save my life. Then they happened. And I will say, when I got pregnant, they like doubled in size. They did go down, but not all the way back. So and really, and I think I talked about this once in air sculpting, but when I got my air sculpt done,
Starting point is 00:51:26 they can do fat transfers. And I found out that I could actually get like a little lifty lift and have the fat taken out of my tummy and put it into my boobs, but there was uncertainty about breastfeeding. So I chose not to do it. Good priorities, baby. Thank you so much. I love it.
Starting point is 00:51:43 Thanks, baby. And I love your boobs. They love you too. Can you. I love it. Thanks, baby. I love your boobs They love you, too Can't wait to see them. Anyway, okay, you said your mom's listening Anyway, I'm breastfed till I was 11 Where did your clothing line James May get the name? Oh that James May it is my nephew and niece's middle names Logan James and Savannah May After my two favorite peeps. And we FaceTimed Logan today. We did he's in Korea. He's in the army All right, baby
Starting point is 00:52:13 Would we try IVF if we continue having trouble getting pregnant naturally? So it is not something that I Hope to have to visit or discuss that I hope to have to visit or discuss. However, if it does become like a major issue, I would be very open for Luke and I having that conversation with my doctor. I think we try IUI first. It just makes sense. And yeah, we do that. And we also try not being in Los Angeles for a month. It worked last time. That's all I'm saying. It worked last time. Always back to LA, you fucking hater. I say you do what works and we found out what works. So let's do it.
Starting point is 00:52:48 He's drinking the hater raid. No, I'm just being my authentic self. Okay, honey. Okay, let's get these last few done. So what items, I like this question, what items are essential for a man's wardrobe, trying to put some sparkle into her man's currently. So for me, I have bought, Luke Loves a Good Graphic T, Holler, James May, yay. However, I think it is important to have a really well-fitted to their body,
Starting point is 00:53:20 not super cheap. Solid T's. Yeah, exactly. I think there's something, you don't have to spend a ton of money. Like honestly, I love Zara. And I think just like solid colored t-shirts that can kind of go under anything or with anything that you can mix and match that fit you really well.
Starting point is 00:53:33 I think a good suit that fits really well. A couple pairs of jeans, like two different colors. Some pants like in maybe three different colors. And like some cool little like Shackets or like jackets something you can just kind of mix and match, you know Like layers that you can do a flannel always important when a lot of flannel Yeah, looks different pants extra socks socks on the regular like come on that we burn through them Honestly, one thing it might be weird about me. We'll make it four things people don't know about me Okay, all my underwear is the same do different colors, but I like consistent underwear Honestly, one thing might be weird about me. We'll make it four things people don't know about me.
Starting point is 00:54:05 All of my underwear is the same. They're different colors, but I like consistent underwear. You like the same brand? The same brand, the same cut. I like having the same underwear. Different colors is fine, whatever. I get the Duluth Buck Naked. Yeah, Duluth Buck Naked underwear.
Starting point is 00:54:22 They're awesome. They have different styles that go on sale. That's why I've got some with chili peppers on them and cloverleafs because you know, they're discontinued styles and I get a little cheaper Yeah, Luke's like underwear socks cargo camo and a ton of golf polos hats Important. Yeah one pair of slides or flip-flop sandals, whatever depending on where you live a Cool pair of boots, maybe like two, one black, one brown, pair of dress shoes, some sneakers. Like there's this one brand I love,
Starting point is 00:54:50 I can't remember it right now, Bruno something or other. We get them on Amazon with their like sneakers with their shoes. Bruno Mark, yeah. Not Bruno Mars, Bruno Mark. Anyway, just a lot. I think it's very important to have kind of the same structure of things in different colors
Starting point is 00:55:03 and that way you always have an option to dress it up and dress it down. I agree and something that I just recently, I gotta recommend it, but different colored pants. A lot of guys all have blue jeans, right? Have some other colors. You have some black pants, have some dark blue, some lighter blue, have, I don't know about white pants, but I've got some like cream colored pants I like. I mean, some different colored pants really, yeah. I was like all jeans for a long time. Next question is, which couple do we hang out with the most? So as a couple.
Starting point is 00:55:33 As a couple, we see Brittany more than anybody. I see, yeah, Brittany and I see Zach the most. We see Jack's. You see Danny more often. I talk to Nia more often, but with three little babies, it's difficult to hang out with the two of them as often as we'd like to.
Starting point is 00:55:49 Right, yeah. I see Jason a decent bit. As far as couples though, we haven't done a whole lot as couples recently. No, I think- But I'd say Nia and Danny would be my choice. Nia and Danny would be the choice. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:00 And this one is, I love the way Luke has my back. They love the way you have my back. And does anyone else in the group ever defend me? Yes. Zach. Zach. Maybe not in what you've seen thus far on the Valley, cause Zach and I had like a little low moment
Starting point is 00:56:14 that we hate so much. But Zach has always defended me forever in a day. But in Nia, Nia as well, Nia on the cast, Nia has, and Danny, they've defended me very much. I think at times I wish Brittany would more than she has, but I'm also sympathetic and empathetic to, you know, what she was going through this summer. And is still going through.
Starting point is 00:56:37 And is still going through. Will Rachel O'Brien and Hubby ever be a guest? Hubby is Greg Hunter and they have been a guest. They have. We need to reference that episode because it's a fantastic episode. Hubby is Greg Hunter and they have been a guest. They have. We need to reference that episode because it's a fantastic episode. It really is. Yeah. I'll make sure I post that when this comes out guys for sure. We'll repost that. And I'm sure that they would love to come on again. All right, babe, are we doing a meet and greet tour in the USA?
Starting point is 00:56:57 We would love to do a podcast tour now that we finally found our footing, I think with this new rebrand. It's something that we're working on. Podcast tour 100% is in our plans. Can you give me a shout out? Bones Ways of Life response. Oh, okay. Ashley from Alberta, Canada.
Starting point is 00:57:15 What's up, girl? Absolutely, you can have a shout out. Thank you so much for listening to the pod. Luke, is it getting weird? Is it weird getting recognized? Sorry, dyslexia. It is. It is. it is.
Starting point is 00:57:25 Now I still got off guard, Kristen and I walk in somewhere and they're like, can I get a picture? And I'm used to that Kristen getting approached, but I'm like, I like step aside. They're like, no, I want a picture with you Luke. And I'm like, oh, okay. Sure, why not?
Starting point is 00:57:38 Yeah, because before the Valley, we had the podcast and people would then go, they'd be like, Kristen, can I have a photo? And I was like, yeah. I'm like, oh, this is Luke, by the way. And I'm like, oh my God, that's what you look like. Because if they don't follow social media, they only know your voice and not your face. And now they know your face.
Starting point is 00:57:53 Yeah, we had like 25 times the listeners that I did followers. So people didn't see me. Yeah. Baby, how do you stay strong with all the haters? So sometimes I don't, sometimes I don't. Sometimes it really does affect me. It just posted recently,
Starting point is 00:58:07 there was a scene of Luke and I on the valley and I started reading the comments thinking like there might be something really nice or like to thank people for kind words and it was like saggy tits, fat, weight gain, just like so fucking mean and it hurts my feelings. I mean, it can't hold weight in my heart for more than, you know, an hour or something. Like I don't carry it through my day, but at times it's really hurtful.
Starting point is 00:58:34 And again, like, I don't know why this affects me, but it's like when people are like, oh, you haven't grown, you haven't changed or bring up like shit from like 10, 15 years ago where I'm like, okay, why don't we get to know each other? And then why don't you tell me what your life was like in your late 20s and how many fucking mistakes you made? Oh, we don't want to go there, do we? So I just would love everyone to have some grace. And if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all. It's that simple. Just don't type it. Not everyone was raised that way. I think I've learned there certainly are groups of people that watch The Valley Vanderpump. I don't know if it's all Bravo shows or all shows in general period But people love to watch to hate so it's something that I've already accepted. There's a bunch of nonsense
Starting point is 00:59:16 I'm getting hate I get really nasty DMS sometimes saying Really not good words and like stuff that would get you canceled. No, I will say like Janet and I, something I didn't mention earlier, but Janet and I had like a phone conversation not too long ago because of some of the hate she was getting that was some of the most disgusting and deplorable shit that I've ever heard
Starting point is 00:59:40 in my entire life to be honest. So I just tried to let her know that in my experience, these aren't the people that like actually even watch our show or like talking about what they're seeing on TV. These are just people filled with hate and need to spew the venom. And I think it's just really unfortunate because I've said it a million times. I think there's something about social media that can really bring people together. There's a community. When I have my pregnancy loss, there were so many wonderful people reaching out to me and pages that I'm following that really put a smile on my face or like heal my heart throughout the day. But then that comes with, unfortunately, all of this hate as well. So it
Starting point is 01:00:19 just, it just bums me out. I think above all, it's just really unfortunate because I feel bad for those people. Yeah, I do too. And ultimately, sort of. I kind of ignore it. And also, I mean, not even everyone I know that says mean things to me or about me hits me because I don't care. If I don't care about the person's opinion,
Starting point is 01:00:39 it doesn't really get to me. True. That's a good point. So I can really kind of let it slide off me where I have been bothered. There was actually a Reddit thread brought to my attention where people making up lies. Just making things up and then hundreds or like it was like 1500 comments just like backing it being like oh this person I know somebody that worked with Luke 10 years ago in Colorado and he said da da da da da and he doesn't even really own property and he's using Kristen and making all this stuff up
Starting point is 01:01:07 and I'm like, that frustrated me some because they got this big energy behind it and it's lies. So, that's more frustrating. Lies being spread about me and people hopping on that versus just being like nasty comments like, you're dumb, you're ugly, you look older than Jax. You, you know, these are like.
Starting point is 01:01:28 No, I think that's a really good point that you made though. Like it's the comments or the hate that is then fueled by the energy behind it, where people are like tagging onto that and like they're on board with the hate and it multiplies is when it gets frustrating. But then we have the choice just not to look and I wish I were a little bit stronger,
Starting point is 01:01:47 but some days I just delete Instagram off of my phone and some days I read it, you know? Yeah, well, I see it. But we love all of you and thank you so much for the questions and thank you for listening to our podcast and thank you for watching The Valley and for all of your support and kind words.
Starting point is 01:02:02 You guys are the best. You know what they say though? What do they say, Luke? If you don't have any haters, you're doing something wrong. I would just prefer to not have any haters. Everyone would prefer to. I'm sensitive and I'd like to stay that way in the words of Jewel.
Starting point is 01:02:16 You're not moving and shaking if everybody loves you. I would like to be loved. Anyway, well, thanks you guys so much for sticking with us.
