Starting point is 00:00:00 What's up everybody? Welcome back to sex love and what else matters. I have the bus guess I could ever ask for right now. My little penny lane, my sensitive soul sister. She, she, is Lala calls her, I call her Machina Bean. Yeah. Hi. Machina. Thanks for having me. I'm so happy to be in your like 18th home. I know, right? I swear, I've gotten to be an expert at moving at this point because I feel like I move every year. But hopefully we're gonna stay here for a minute. I like it. So we're out here in Marina Del Rey and Luke is back in town.
Starting point is 00:00:50 I'm back everybody. Yeah. Hey, surprise, surprise. Yeah. She can't keep me away too long. Yeah, for too long. But I'm so excited to have Sheena on because as last time I did, Sheena agains with her,
Starting point is 00:01:02 we talked about how Sheena and I just feel so hard, we feel so much, we're like the sorry sisters, we just like are people, pleasers. However, I have noticed a crazy change in you. The last, especially year, maybe last, maybe since summer was born, year and a half plus to go, but especially the last year. But you've gotten a lot stronger. Thanks. And I'm curious as to why you think that is if you notice it, is it because your mom now, is it because of the show? Is it because you're with a barbarian husband, bra? Like, what do you think that turn is?
Starting point is 00:01:40 And do you think you're stronger than you used to be? Yeah, I think it's kind of all of the above, to be honest. Having a baby, I mean, it definitely changes you. It makes you realize that you're a fucking superhero woman who can just do anything. After, I think, last season, I really didn't feel like myself. I just was coming off of a very traumatic labor three days later. I have cameras in my face and I had body image issues.
Starting point is 00:02:09 I just was not really feeling like myself. And then this past year, I feel like I've kind of just come back into my own. I feel like me again, I feel like Brock has brought out the best side of me. He makes me more confident and I think it's just a little bit of everything. I'm just at the point in my life too where I feel like if you don't add value to my life then I don't need you in it. And boom. A man. Yeah. You know what? Yeah exactly and some of the scraps, unfortunately, you're still around this friend group.
Starting point is 00:02:47 But, you know, it is what it is. I've just chosen to not let that affect me anymore. You know, I'm happy I'm in a great place in my life and I'm not gonna let anyone take that from me. Luke has knows nothing about Vannarpone pearls, which is just what I would have thought in every episode, you're so our audience. All right.
Starting point is 00:03:06 I thought that was, you know, middle-aged women. Yeah, all the women that are following you on Instagram right now. Yeah, that's pretty much the paragraph. But I just want to speak to that because as a non-cast member last year, and literally, I've said this on social media, I've said this on other podcasts, I've said this publicly, you carried that flipping show
Starting point is 00:03:25 on your back once again last season. And I feel like you were not given the due diligence that you deserved. So as you were saying, like after last season, blah, blah, blah, like we'll get into this season. Yeah. Which congratulations, of course, on your next season. We'll get into that much later. But I really did notice maybe that was like, wondering if that was part of it, because you were kind of treated like shit last season as a viewer and as a friend and as a previous cast member. And I was just so weak and hormonal
Starting point is 00:03:57 and just postpartum, everything I was going through that I didn't even know what I was going through. And to have some people who were friends, quote unquote, coming at me last summer, it was just like, did it go. The good old frenemies. You know, it was just too much. And I took it and I apologized for things I wasn't sorry for.
Starting point is 00:04:17 And it was just like, I'll try and be better. I'm so sorry. And this year, I was like, fuck that. I'm not doing that anymore. If, you know, we haven't been close in a long time, it's for a reason. And we don't need to try and force the closeness because we're in the same friend group,
Starting point is 00:04:32 because we're on the same show, because we have the same job. It's just like, we don't not get along. Simple as that. I know I'm tired of being the people please or who apologizes to everyone when she's not really sorry, because there's not always something to apologize for. Totally.
Starting point is 00:04:46 If I heard someone's feelings, if there's an action of mine that caused hurt or pain on someone else, then for that, I'm sorry. But you are always very genuine about that. I am. But there's just like, I mean, you'll see it this summer. I just decided like, you know what? No, I'm done.
Starting point is 00:05:03 I don't wanna do this anymore, and I don't care if people don't agree with that. I'm just done. I don't care if that makes one friendship more difficult for me because they're friends with this person, and I'm not. I'm just done. You have more priorities. Yeah, more higher priorities.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Than maintaining a relationship that you don't even want. Exactly. So, someone who adds no value to my life, who brings me down, I just, I don't need that anymore don't even want. Exactly. So. Someone who adds no value to my life, who brings me down, I just, I don't need that anymore. 100% agree. I know I'm a little bit younger than you girls, but yeah, I'm a little bit younger.
Starting point is 00:05:32 Why? I like a younger. You have rock and I about the same age as you. Yeah, health is proctor 32. 32? Oh my God. Yeah, I'll be 32 in a couple months. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:05:41 It makes me feel a lot better. So wait, let's talk about our honey. Okay. Yeah, honey, honey. I love that you guys use the word honey too. You guys aren't the people who say, hey babe, I mean you do, but it's, no, if I save all the time. I almost is like, I feel like I'm calling him my ex-boyfriend's name or something.
Starting point is 00:05:59 It feels weird. I'm like, babe, I'm like, oh my god, sorry, I just called you babe and I'm like, wait, no, that's, it's okay to call you babe. But I've done that a couple times and I like, for freak god, sorry, I just called you babe. And I'm like, wait, no, it's okay to call you babe. But I've done that a couple times and I like for freak out for a second. I just called him someone to name. Can we flash back to what was that season two or three of Interpump rules when I was in the green dress?
Starting point is 00:06:14 Oh my god. I would over stand of all of this and I go, babe, Tom. So now I totally get it. Yeah, I love you guys. Like in both of you, say honey when you're like, hey honey, or if it's like you guys are needing each other's attention, it's like honey. Honey, honey.
Starting point is 00:06:34 And then if I have to say Brock, like that's me, no, he just wasn't listening because I very rarely say Brock to him. Do you use his middle name or does he vice versa? No, his middle name is my ex-husband's name, so I'm not ever like Brock Michael. Oh, yeah, I actually don't even think I realize that. You use my middle name, Chris.
Starting point is 00:06:54 Oh, yeah. And actually, and Luke's middle name is my brother's first name. Oh, that's funny. That's true, too, yeah. But when he's being, I don't know, it's not really what I'm mad at you. It's more like when you're getting on my nerves and I just go, Luke Ryan.
Starting point is 00:07:06 Or when I'm not paying attention. Oh, that too. When you're just talking and I'm decided it wasn't worth listening to. Now that's when the third honey has passed and then I go, brock, oh my gosh, I'm telling you like, what? Do you not hear me?
Starting point is 00:07:19 I do the same thing though. If I'm on my phone and you're talking to me, I'm not listening. I cannot multitask. I don't even try to act like I can. I'll literally stop what I'm doing. And I'm like, sorry and you're talking to me, I'm not listening. I cannot multitask. I don't even try to act like I can. I'll literally stop what I'm doing. And I'm like, sorry, what did you just say? I wasn't listening.
Starting point is 00:07:30 My mom gets so annoyed with me, but I'm like, then don't talk to me when I'm on my phone. If you want me to listen, I'm not going to listen. Look, that's so fair. You're like, I'm not the only way. Yeah, for you. Yeah. I noticed Lala does that too.
Starting point is 00:07:43 So I was like, it's not only me. Yeah, Kristen's the same way. She does not. She'll be texting. She's like, one minute. I'm like, I try to say something to her right here. Super quick, yes or no, this or that. She's like, hold on, I gotta finish this text.
Starting point is 00:07:55 I'm not, I can't focus on that. No, I can't multitask. I need to focus on one thing at a time. Yeah, at least for a kind of, you know what I mean? Yeah, so Luke and I were actually talking about you and Brock, just because he loves Brock. I love you. We love you guys. Obviously we knew we were going to be recording this today.
Starting point is 00:08:14 So happy, grateful, thankful. What I've noticed and what I really love about Brock is, regardless of, like, let's say we're in a group situation, right? Whether or not Brock necessarily agrees with whatever your side is, he always has your back publicly. Totally. You guys may take it out at home together and have that. And I'm sure, how could you fucking not, right?
Starting point is 00:08:39 But when it's in a public setting, he will never let someone embarrass you, try to make you the downfall of the situation. He's not trying to let you look stupid, let someone insult you. He will like fucking throw down. Yeah. If he thinks someone is disrespecting you in public. I should.
Starting point is 00:09:01 Yeah, but I've never had that before. That is what the man should do. It's what the had that before. That is what the man should do. It's what the woman should do. It's what your partner should do. 100%. But I've never had that before. Yeah. So being with Brock is just a whole new world
Starting point is 00:09:16 that I'm like, oh, this is what it's supposed to be like. I've never had this before. It's so good. And Kristen, I recently got to the point where there had been times where I felt like she was disrespected in a way, this was really early on when we had started seeing each other. I didn't feel like I was quite a point where I could step up
Starting point is 00:09:33 just because she had relationships for years or decades beyond with these people. Right, I'm not gonna step up and say something. But now I'm at a point where I'm not putting up with that shit. And so if someone disrespects you, they indirectly disrespect me. You know, disrespect my girl.
Starting point is 00:09:46 I'm gonna have words. So how would you say that? That'll have sex with you like any time when you say something. But what you said to me, I'll hold you to that. So I know he always holds me to it. And a vibrating blow job.
Starting point is 00:09:59 And a vibrating blow job as well as. I'm all here for research. You know what? Yeah, Luke was it reason. The people want to know. Yeah. We're gonna give it a whirl. But I'll let Luke, I want you to like jump into this.
Starting point is 00:10:13 But what Luke said last night when we were just like talking about Brock, because he's like, oh man, like you girls are gonna like go out or have girls nights and all of this. And I wanna hang out with the dudes. He's like, you know what I love about Brock? He's always the same. He's always like, he's the assistant.
Starting point is 00:10:28 Doesn't matter what group he's in, doesn't matter if it's just him. Brock is always genuinely Brock. At least, you know, we haven't hung out that many times, but we've been around Brock. Brock is Brock. Totally. Talks everyone the same, treats everyone the same. Yeah. It is something to be admired.
Starting point is 00:10:42 I think that guy, he does have a really good point. He really is. It doesn't matter what group of people he's around. He's over it. Or not rich. Totally. Gossipy or not gossipy or people he knows or people he doesn't know. Brock is absolutely consistent.
Starting point is 00:10:58 I think that's because of strong morals and principles. He makes his decisions based on stuff he knows. He's not questioning things in his mind when he's around certain people. Yeah. He knows what he knows and he sticks with it and that's cool. Yeah. I feel like so many people try to be, you know, who they're hanging out with or to act like that group. I mean, I've certainly been guilty of that, especially on Vanderpum rules with certain girls. You know, or I act a certain way when it's not who I normally am
Starting point is 00:11:27 or how I would normally act. But if this is what this person wants to see and I wanna be friends with them, then I need to do that. And so I was like, I've been so guilty of that. Yeah. But that's, yeah, not Brock. No, I just, yeah, we were, it just came up last night and I was like, damn, you're so right.
Starting point is 00:11:40 And what a good foundation that is for your family with you in summer and Brock. Yeah. Because you're like the sensitive soul and Brock, trust me y'all, I don't know if you guys know Brock, but Brock's a crybaby too. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:55 And the sweetest way. Yeah. I don't mean like he winds in Christ. No, no, but he's got emotion. He is so emotional. Like you're wetting. Yep. Before I saw you, I think he would cry more than I did.
Starting point is 00:12:06 He 100% did. As a person sitting in like the third row at your wedding, I mean, I was crying because Brock was crying before I even saw your dress. You know, I don't know if that's a trend that's happening, but the last few weddings I've been to, the guy cries more than the woman. Like Greg did.
Starting point is 00:12:24 What do you mean a trend with that? I guess I don't know. I mean like it's... You better cry. Well, also, no, but I think... Then I shouldn't be getting married as the way I see it. But also the women are wearing the makeup and the lashes
Starting point is 00:12:35 and we don't always wear waterproof mascara, you know? So I was trying everything to just keep the tears in my eyes where he's like wiping them away. We have photos and he's like literally wiping tears and I'm like smiling all the way. But you're not gonna fuck up the makeup. Like I have emotional, I have feelings, the tears are staying in the eyes.
Starting point is 00:12:55 These lashes are mink. Yeah, no, they're actually foaming now. Foaming now everyone. So we have three styles, summer moon and honey, shop them now. Absolutely shop them now. You betterink now everyone. faux mink now everyone. we have three styles. summer moon and honey shop them now. absolutely shop them now. you better bring me some of these for Vegas because I haven't even tried them.
Starting point is 00:13:09 I honestly don't even have that much stock right now. I need to get there. I need to get there. I need to get there. yeah the summer style has done so well. I need to like come out with a second style. that's more of like the natural one. yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:21 because I think I only have four boxes left upstairs. and then we have our shopify pop up at the end of February. yes. February 12, right? yeah. in the natural one. Yeah. Because I think I only have four boxes left upstairs. And then we have our Shopify pop up at the end of February. Yes. February, 22, right? Yeah. And Christina Kelly, I think. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:30 So we'll be at Shopify downtown February 22, we're doing a watch party for the show. And then we'll be there for five days. So I will come and be there. I told Walla that I am not opposed to watching this season. I don't know if I can watch every episode. I don't know if I would watch it at all if I were you. But I am very fascinated by the trailer. I was like so impressed. I'm so proud of you guys of my friends. Basically everyone in that photo minus a couple of people. I am just
Starting point is 00:14:03 so proud of you guys for sticking with it for it becoming something that looks more like the foundation we created. And that's the thing. I feel like this season is giving Vanderpump seasons like one through three. You've got the in friendship, group, hook ups, and all of that stuff from, you know,
Starting point is 00:14:24 the early years just missing or dodi. Okay. Let's get back to you and Brock because sex love and what else matters. Yes. Right. And that is the truth. That's how I feel, especially being as old slash young as I am. Let's talk about your sex life. Okay. Because Luke did not get to hear this episode that you did with Lala, but I filled in a little bit. Oh my God. My mom listened to that episode. I'm like, mom, sure mom did. Why would you listen to that? You don't even listen to Shanaan again. Why are you listening to me on someone else's podcast? She's like, I just thought it would be like really cute
Starting point is 00:14:57 episode. My reverse cowgirl and she went to a good Starbucks. Oh my God. Mom, you should not listen. Let me know before. And I'll be like, maybe don't listen to that episode. Yeah. Yeah, tell me. I'm approaching to my family. This is Luke's favorite subject. Okay. Sex, of course it is. I think it's most most of men's favorite subject. I mean, come on. So give her the 20 questions. The 20 questions. I've got five. Okay. Five. They're not all related to sex, but, okay, here's a good one. So, here's something that Chris and I run into is I have a very, I have a really high sex drive, right? Uh-huh. And we run into her not feeling like she's in the mood and she like can't even get her
Starting point is 00:15:38 head in the right space or whatever and I'm like, can you just do it for me? Yeah. Anyway, how do I, I'm sure you run into that, right? Yeah. No, actually not anymore. You have not run into that? for me. Yeah. Anyway, how are you sure you run into that, right? No, actually not anymore. You have not run into that? With Brock? No, we're very on the same page. Once you have a baby, your sex life is out the fucking window.
Starting point is 00:15:53 Hate to tell you, but yeah. It's whenever you got a chance. I mean, whenever you're in the mood and have the chance at the same time, which is very, very rare. Okay. Like after we had summer, I mean, we didn't have sex for months. I don't even know how many months.
Starting point is 00:16:11 That was probably because your vagina also had to heal. Well, yeah. And then after six weeks, they say, you're fine. And I was like, yeah, but mentally, emotionally, physically, I was not there. Even though the doctor said your vagina's okay. I went through a lot with your pregnancy,
Starting point is 00:16:28 which you've talked about, but what was it called again? I got help syndrome. Helps syndrome. Yeah, so I literally could have died. I was on blood pressure medication after, for a while I got put in the high risk ICU for five days and then after those five days. I didn't want to be killed with a shot.
Starting point is 00:16:42 It was okay. Quick version. Three days after that we have cameras and then we're filming days. It was okay. Quick version. Three days after that we have cameras and then we're filming for two and a half months. So it was like during that whole time, I don't think we had sex once. I think the first time we did. Did you tear? No, thankfully, I so that's the thing is I had for everything I went through my vagina. Your vagina was intact. That was intact. I had one internal stitch that just like dissolved or whatever. So I could have still had sex, but it was like I had you
Starting point is 00:17:11 know this belly and all this extra weight on me. My boobs are filled with milk. They're sensitive. And I was like, is it going to squirt out milk? If I just I neither of us were in the mood. We're exhausted. You're getting up every three hours. He goes the tweak and it pullsipples to get you turned on. Don't even like milky touch that. Like shoots out. Don't even like even now he tried to touch my nipple last week. And I was like, get your fucking hand off me.
Starting point is 00:17:35 Don't you? Like there's still she has breast milk. Oh, they're still so sensitive. It was. Yeah, it's sweet. It's sweet. I don't have anymore. It literally tastes like sweet almond milk.
Starting point is 00:17:44 You try it from a bottler from the source. No, she sucked my shit. I'm sorry. No, she would be- That's what he would like to pick at her. No, I fucked it. It was like a little like chocolate. I figured I know.
Starting point is 00:17:56 You know, and we had to do a pump and dump. We would do a pump and drink. I'm like, we're not wasting this milk. There's alcohol in it, the baby can't have it. Everyone do a shot, it'll help your hangover. Yeah, so that's the secret. I basically have like alcohol, sweet, all the milk from Sheenestit,
Starting point is 00:18:09 it was the best of all the world. Memory, I've never tasted, obviously, I always breastfed as a child, but there's a baby. But I've never tried breast milk at a time that I could remember it, so. Yeah, so yeah, that just kind of became my fun little game and people online were getting so offended, they're like, how dare you, I was just like, Wait, did Andy, did just kind of became my fun little game and people online were getting so offended They're like how dare you I was just like wait did Andy did Andy Cohen I did on what happened
Starting point is 00:18:30 Yes, I do it. Yes, he did I I Like I don't like I got it for shop for you. I DMed him about it. I was like I had it to yeah No, I mean more people in my life than not tried my brass milk Yeah, but yeah, so in the beginning, it was just like neither of us were in the mood. And then once we did, or we were getting ready to, it was like, I was so scared.
Starting point is 00:18:51 I felt like a born again virgin. We're like, wait, I don't know how. And like, do I know how to still have an orgasm? Because also just a little backstory for you, I never had orgasms until Brock. What? Yeah, I also never used a vibrator until Brock. Never masturbated before Brock.
Starting point is 00:19:07 So you never masturbated? Never. That I didn't. He opened some serious doors for you. He did. I had one of the most sexual, I know friends that I have. But that's the thing is I had such a solid sex life. I was always having sex.
Starting point is 00:19:20 I was always seeing someone. So it was like, even if I wasn't in a relationship, there was like my go-to friend with benefits or whatever. But you were never getting off. No, but I think I, the people please are in me, got off on the guy getting off. So I was just like, yeah, you came. Like, I did good.
Starting point is 00:19:36 And that was like enough for me. That was like my love language. Okay. But I still enjoyed it. And everything else, you know, go down on me, finger, whatever. Like I was in a way. And making, finger, whatever, like I was in. And making out in the connection of like the... Totally.
Starting point is 00:19:49 Not love, but just the lust and the sweetness of it. Yeah, and also... Yeah, the desire and attraction and everything. Totally. Although, like, the thing is, you don't know what you're missing if you've never had it. Oh, yeah. So now, you know that I've had the best sex in my life
Starting point is 00:20:04 and more orgasms than I can count. If, I mean, I don't even want to say if I was never with Brock, because that's, you know, but like... If in the worst case scenario something happened, like I just, I don't even know that I would ever want to have sex with anyone else, because this is the best I've ever had. You know? It wouldn't, and that's why I'm so thankful that Brock, the person I've chosen to spend my forever with is the person who has just made me feel the best sexually because I'm like, I couldn't go to anyone else after you.
Starting point is 00:20:37 It's like every relationship, you know, it gets better the next person you date has to be better than your last year. You're not gonna date them. So when Brock and I started dating, after the first time we had sex, I was like, oh, this is it because it's never been better and I don't even want to try to compare.
Starting point is 00:20:54 So now it's like if we get it in once or twice a month, that's really good because also we have a baby who lives with us 24-7. Luke, did you hear it once or twice a month? This past month was twice and that was good. Yeah, I'm going back on birth control. Yeah. But I mean, we're just, we're both,
Starting point is 00:21:16 the thing is we're both on the same page with it. It's not like he's always horning in the mood and I'm like, no, I wanna sleep, like leave me alone. Like it's very much, both of our sex drives have just dropped significantly since having a baby. And we're very in sync with that. So that's the good thing is because it's not just one-sided. And now what we tried for a few months
Starting point is 00:21:40 was like trying to like plan it out. You know, we're like, okay, we're going out of town. We're gonna bring the vibrators in the lube and we're gonna have sex But then you get out of town and maybe you're on a trip with friends You're doing something else you have a wedding or whatever and it's like oh shoot But we have to schedule sex and then it was just becoming We're not
Starting point is 00:21:56 Because yeah, but then we felt so much pressure and it was like well if we don't have sex tonight tomorrow's the last day of our trip And then when are we gonna have sex and it was just like, you know, whatever if we don't have sex tonight, tomorrow's the last day of our trip, and then when are we gonna have sex? And it was just like, you know what, whatever, if we don't have sex this month, we don't have sex this month. But when we get home from a football game and we're a little tipsy, and you know, my mom already put summer to bed and my mom left, we might have sex on the stairs. Right.
Starting point is 00:22:16 Yeah. I feel like you'd have to have sex. Is there ever a time that... I was lost to it. I was lost to it just right there. Nice. So let's say even pre-summer then, were there ever times where he wanted it, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like,
Starting point is 00:22:26 I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like,
Starting point is 00:22:34 I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like,
Starting point is 00:22:42 I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, you guys just having so much sex. I was like, oh my God, this morning was like time number 17. And it was just like, I don't even know. There was one day we had sex five times in that day. But I mean, we've done, yeah. We just started dating, you know, it was new. I was on birth control. I didn't worry about getting pregnant at all.
Starting point is 00:22:58 And yeah, we used to just go at it and we had so much sex. But then we got pregnant six months in. I didn't even know I could get pregnant. So that was an extreme shock when I was told by my fertility doctor. It would be like a slim to no chance. I would ever get pregnant naturally. So I'm carrying up after going through IVF like freezing my eggs twice. And I was gearing up for around three of freezing my eggs. So I told Brock I said I have to go off birth control because I want to freeze my eggs again,
Starting point is 00:23:25 just so I have so many because I don't have a ton. And I said so, but just know like, I don't think I can get pregnant. You know, I'm pull out if you will. I just, I don't think I could get pregnant. And for, I don't know, maybe three, four months, I was off birth control. And boom, I got pregnant and I've never been pregnant in my life.
Starting point is 00:23:48 And he's like, I thought you could, I'm like, I didn't think I could either. You know what's funny? Is that story sounds so familiar? For back in college, a number of my guy friends said that about their girlfriends and every single one of them got pregnant. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:59 So they're like, I can't get pregnant. And they're like, yeah, so I just stop pulling out. Oh, now you have a baby. So that's how it works. Yeah, so yeah, we got pregnant and then a few weeks later, unfortunately, that turned into a miscarriage. And my doctor told me the best chance
Starting point is 00:24:16 of having a healthy baby was to wait one period, ovulation, and then get pregnant again right away. And I was like, so you're saying in like five weeks, like get pregnant again. He's like, that's your boss chance to have a healthy baby based on your numbers and everything. And Brock and I were like in a pandemic, we've been together seven months at this point.
Starting point is 00:24:33 We were not planning to move in together and have a baby seven months in. That's crazy. And it's right, same you guys are crazy. But like it just, you didn't plan on the first pregnancy. No, and so. We're not pregnant or living together. No, right. But no, but it was just like, you know. We're not pregnant or living together. No, right, but.
Starting point is 00:24:45 No, but it was just like, you know, we're in a pandemic. It just so much changed. And I was like, you know, we didn't know what was going on with the show. We didn't know what was going on with his gyms. Both of us are out of a job. This is not the time to bring a baby into the world. And I said, just know that if we wait,
Starting point is 00:25:01 it may never happen, which at the time I said, I'm okay with. I do have frozen eggs, so I'll just, you know, hope that one of those is good once we fertilize them. But if, by chance, you want to try again, I'm down, you know, when I'm fertile. Because I remember when you got pregnant the first time in you guys, as much as it wasn't planned at all, you were elated. Yeah. You were so excited even though it happened the way it happened, but that's the universe
Starting point is 00:25:31 for us, right? That's God's plan, whatever, you know, listeners, whatever you believe in, and then summer. I know, but that's the thing is I feel like I got pregnant because if I didn't have that miscarriage, I wouldn't have summer. And that was the only thought that was able to get me through like the darkest time in my life is. But I know if this didn't happen, the next baby wouldn't be here.
Starting point is 00:25:53 And I just, I was like, it's, this happened for a reason. This baby, the little soul came to me and made me pregnant. So I knew so badly, I do want to be a mom. Like before when I froze my eggs, I did it because I didn't want to wake up 40 years old one day single. I was 33 at the time. Don't care. I'm crying too right now.
Starting point is 00:26:14 But yes, it's not a knock. But I just at 33, I was single. I was divorced. I was very depressed. And I was like, you know what? This might make me even more depressed doing this on my own shooting myself up with hormones, but I just said, I don't wanna wake up at 40 and still be single and not have a baby and want a baby
Starting point is 00:26:32 and have no frozen eggs and have no prospects. So I'm gonna do this for an intern. I tried to get you to do it with me so many times. I've talked about it on my podcast. I know. We did that too, but for you especially, you had a marriage. Yeah, and I knew when I was married, I know. We did that too, but for you especially, you had a marriage. Yeah, and I knew when I was married,
Starting point is 00:26:47 I did want kids with him eventually, but we weren't in that place. So I knew it was something that, because I felt ever since I was little, that I would have a problem getting pregnant. I don't know why, I just was always a feeling. And then when I was married, I just knew it wasn't the right time to get pregnant.
Starting point is 00:27:03 And then I'm just getting older and older. And I'm like, I need to freeze my eggs because I know part of me wants to be a mom, but part of me is like, if it doesn't happen, you'll be okay. Your life is not complete only if you're a mother. So I would tell myself what I needed to to just get by. And then after the miscarriage, when I realized, okay, this is the week, we've got like from Monday to Sunday that doctor said, and he knew if he didn't pull out,
Starting point is 00:27:33 I was probably gonna get pregnant that week. And we had sex a few times that week. The first time we were not in our frame of mind. It was like, we just had a fun night in Palm Springs with our friends and had some drinks. And then that night I was like, you can't even come. Like you're not even gonna finish. So not getting pregnant tonight.
Starting point is 00:27:54 It's a blue, can I call whiskey dick? It's like we have two versions of whiskey dick where I thought it might, you can't get hard. And Luke said, there's another version of whiskey dick which means you can get hard, but you just can't finish. Yeah. And I didn't know that.
Starting point is 00:28:08 Yeah, so that time, I remember talking to my friends, Jamie and Brett the next morning, I was like, oh my god, we had sex like three times last night. They're like, do you think you got pregnant? I was like, I don't think he finished once. No. And I was like, so, you know, we got a couple more days. And we were moving to San Diego that week.
Starting point is 00:28:22 And we moved in. And that night was the first night we spent the night in our house, and then the next morning we consummated whatever you wanna call our christened, the house consummated our moving. And yeah, that night I was like, honestly honey, I think you just got me pregnant.
Starting point is 00:28:40 So let's just, for the next three weeks, I'm gonna be sober, I'm gonna be good, and I'm just gonna pretend like I'm pregnant, which was also such a mind-fuck. Because I'm like, I'm not drinking, I'm not smoking weed, I'm not doing anything because I'm telling myself like, no, you're pregnant, but what if I'm not? Then that's gonna be so disappointing in a few weeks when I don't miss my period. Right. And then I missed my period, and I was pregnant in now. Summer Moon is in the world and I could not imagine a world without her.
Starting point is 00:29:08 No, she's literally like the best baby. We were just fist bumping. I have a cute video all post when this comes out you guys, like where she and I were cheering. We kissed, we cheers with our microphones. She wanted her headphones on. Yeah. She's like, I could just hear in her mind,
Starting point is 00:29:25 like, my mommy has a podcast, and I know I had phones in a microphone. Oh, no. Oh, yeah, she loves to grab the mic. I want to tie something in from the wedding. It was only for a handful of minutes, but I remember sitting there in a rainbow shows up as you walk out to somewhere over the rainbow.
Starting point is 00:29:41 Yeah, literally, you walk out, and then it fades away once you get up there to brush. I know. And it was like, I. You walk out and then it fades away. Once you get up there to brush. I know. And it was like, I have goosebumps right now thinking about it. It was wild. It was amazing, like touching emotionally everything. Yeah, I was sobbing. I mean, money can't buy that, you know?
Starting point is 00:29:56 It was perfect timing because also with all of the cameras there, going from indoor to outdoor, the humidity, the cameras took like 20, 30 minutes to acclimate in between the two. And so the ceremony started like 20, 25 minutes late because the cameras were still figuring out how to work in the humidity and how it not started 25 minutes late. We would have missed the rainbow. Yeah. It was so briefed. It was only there for probably five minutes.
Starting point is 00:30:23 No, it was so brief, it was only there for probably five minutes. No, it was so crazy. When I did my maternity photos with Summer in Hawaii in one of the photos, there's a rainbow behind me that I didn't even know was there that day. And then I saw it in my photos. Yeah, so just so amazing. So what do you think just to kind of wrap up the sex part? Because that's something Luke and I have been talking about. What do you think is like,
Starting point is 00:30:46 I don't wanna say advice necessarily, but like how to like maintain a healthy sex life? Like, just Luke and I have only been together six months, but how have, or seven months, six months, something? We can even say been together. Well, we haven't been together. It's been like seven months
Starting point is 00:30:59 since we had sex for the first time. Yeah, but it just feels like everything's sped up so quickly, but we're definitely having these moments, my moments, and I don't know if it's Clism older. Yeah. He has a higher sex drive where it's like in the morning, dudes are hard. I mean, I feel like that's just like a total MO of like the male, I don't know if that's your experience. And I just don't always want to. And I hate saying no because I know what it feels like to be turned down.
Starting point is 00:31:27 Yeah. So it's like, do you have any advice as someone who's now married with a baby who's obviously had a healthy sex life your whole adult life? Just maintaining a healthy sex life. And how do you get jumped through those hoops? It's tough because you and Brock, you say you guys are pretty in sync now.
Starting point is 00:31:46 Yeah, and I mean, I used to love Morning Sex. Funny story. I was talking about this on my podcast. She's like staring at me every time you used to. You used to. You used to. Okay. And my mother-in-law was listening to my podcast.
Starting point is 00:32:01 Back when Brock and I first started dating. And she was like, well, honey, if I could give you a tip, she know like morning sex and I was like, oh my god, your mom did not just tell you to have sex with me in the morning. Oh my god, that is so embarrassing. That was just a funny little sidebar. But the thing is, I've always placed so much importance on sex in relationships. So much that like my previous relationship before Brock was based on sex. I felt like if we didn't have sex in the morning, if we didn't have sex this many times a week,
Starting point is 00:32:33 like our relationship wasn't gonna work, and we needed to have sex. Like I just felt like that's what, I mean, I provide a lot to a partner, but I felt like that was the one thing that I was like, we have to do this. It's the most important. And then there's quality time and everything else.
Starting point is 00:32:48 No, I'll say my therapist, when Luke and I have my therapist, Heather on my podcast, we talked about intimacy and sex and what is the importance or how often, et cetera. And she said, well, that's between the couple. But she said that is the one thing that depicts, basically, the difference between a platonic, friend or a roommate and a partner.
Starting point is 00:33:09 Yeah. You know, is sex. Sex is the difference, yeah. Right. And it just makes me feel badly because I guess for me, so I'm curious your thoughts on this. For me, the only time that I feel that way
Starting point is 00:33:19 is when I'm in my head about other shit. Life is shit. Yeah, but we're always as women in our head about other shit. Like, life is shit. Like, go to sleep with other things on our brains. And we don't go to sleep right away when our head hits the pillow like these fucking guys, they just like pass out.
Starting point is 00:33:32 And I'm like, so true. I have so many thoughts running through my brain before I can like check out. I have to like put on a meditation, really listen to Samarro Love's voice on the calm app because otherwise it's just like, oh, I didn't do this. I have to do this. There's so many things and oh my god. It's like,
Starting point is 00:33:47 but I do think that having open conversations with your partners is the most important thing. And to not feel like sex has to be the biggest priority. And this is what works for us. This could be terrible advice. But I think that's what we want to know. It's like, what works for you? Well, works for us. It's your challenge. Not having it as the biggest importance in our relationship. It's like, we have so many other things. And then when we're both in the mood and it's spontaneous
Starting point is 00:34:14 and it's fun, then we have sex. And then it's the best because it's not all of the time. It means more. Like the last time we had sex this past week, it's so funny too Because when we live here with just our daughter, right? So we basically live alone. We have a baby who sleeps a lot and At night, you know once we put her down we could totally have sex like we could have sex in this whole house But we don't because I'm like no the baby's home
Starting point is 00:34:41 But then there's times where like on, on Lollah's podcast, I was saying, we're in Vegas. My parents have an adjoined room to us. I sort of told the story, so it's not real. Take the baby. I was like, I woke up and I was just really horny that morning. And I was like, but I can hear some or in my parents' room and I'm like, we can't,
Starting point is 00:34:58 like I hear them, but I'm like, I'm horny, but I hear family and I'm like, I can't. And so my mom was like, she know, we're gonna- It's like the major cock-flop. Yeah, totally. She's like, she know, we're gonna, and I'm like, I can't. And so my mom was like, she knows we're gonna. It's the major cock-flaw. Yeah, totally. She's like, she knows we're gonna, and I'm gonna tell my mom not to listen to this episode, but I'll just like download it, but then don't listen.
Starting point is 00:35:13 But she's like, we're gonna take summer down to Starbucks to get a coffee, text me if you want anything. I was like, okay. And I was like, oh my god, perfect. I'm like, by the time they get to the elevator, get down, there's gonna be a line. I was like, we got at least 10 minutes. We don't even need 10 minutes anymore. You
Starting point is 00:35:25 know, like that's more than enough time. We go a couple rounds. So parents, labels, like we are doing it. So that was a recent time. But then it's so funny, because when I feel like when we're home and it's just summer, I'm like, no, we can't because the baby's here. But then we have this past weekend in Palm Springs. We go with my mom, Lala, her mom, her baby, and in Palm Springs, summer sleeps in our room in the crib. But that, I mean, she's passed out and we're both in bed and Brock had the Oculus on. Yeah. And the metaverse. And I'm like, how funny would this be if I just started giving him
Starting point is 00:36:00 a blow job while he's in the metaverse. Oh, my God. And so did you? Yeah, I was just in the mood to suck his dick. And I was like, that's all right. I'm going to do it. But then that obviously leads to more. But then I'm like, shh.
Starting point is 00:36:11 The baby's in the room. Right, right. And I'm like, Luke, so I'm saying me like, you're the worst girlfriend on the face of the planet. You're like, here I am. I'm so in my head and worried all the time. I'm like, no, the baby, the baby. And then the baby's in our room.
Starting point is 00:36:24 But I was like, no, we'll just be really quiet. So that's the thing, but then it was fun. It was spontaneous. Brock's in the metaverse, getting a blow job, and then that led to more. And then I'm like, I get on top of him, and I was like, we're gonna get out of the metaverse now. You are inside me.
Starting point is 00:36:40 Ooh, the ocular. But it was like, that just seemed spontaneous and cool. No, that's super like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like,
Starting point is 00:36:50 I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like,
Starting point is 00:36:58 I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm just like, I'm gonna be like, all right, Gina, tell me what I need to do to make this better for my 31-year-old. It's just when it's fun and it's, you know,
Starting point is 00:37:07 it just happens and it's not planned out because that was our problem was when we were like, okay, we're going out of town. We have a two-day trip to New York, so we're gonna have sex on the first day and then it's like, sometimes you just wanna go to dinner on the first day and then maybe meet up with friends, but then you're like, well, if we get too drunker,
Starting point is 00:37:22 you know, we're too tired, then we're not gonna have sex. We need to get back and like half sex. And that just was taking the sexy out of sexy time. Yeah. But then we get home. God, to that point. No, no, you guys are still so new. I'm saying, when you have a baby, and our ish is like, is the morning time.
Starting point is 00:37:40 That's not just that. I got that. I was gone for a week, and I come back, and it's after two nights here, and you've shut me down five times. I'm like, I was gone for a week. There's no reason not to be having sex What's going on? Yeah, and it's just me and my own shit with my own head with like my own Like my my you know, what am I doing with my life with the my entrepreneurship like you know You know, yeah, personally thing, projects coming up and when everything's gonna happen
Starting point is 00:38:06 and just getting so sort of stuck in that. Yeah, it's so hard as women to get out of our heads. Yeah, and to just go, shout out the fuck out, and be present one-on-one, because then when I like, look at him, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:38:20 holy shit, like let's go. Yeah, you know. Yeah, but I think having more moments like that is what, I don't know, just keeps it fun. And when we stopped planning and stopped putting pressure on it, now it just happens more often randomly. And now I'm like, people have sex all of the time when they have children.
Starting point is 00:38:41 You know, children live in the house. It doesn't mean parents' sex lives completely stop. Yeah, that does it. Yeah. So, and you have an IEDN, right? Yeah. Now you do. 99.9% effective.
Starting point is 00:38:52 If I get pregnant on this, which I still was for the first like year. How long do you want to keep that in for? A very long time. You guys are not thinking another baby? Not anytime soon. Okay. No, no, no. So, was another reason why for the first year, I was terrified even half-sacks
Starting point is 00:39:09 because I'm like, you've gotten me pregnant twice. I know I have a NIED, but I also have heard so many stories of people who get pregnant on them, but I went back to the doctor a few months ago, he checked it, he said it is placed perfectly, it's 99.9% accurate, effective, I'm like, okay. If that point one happens and I get pregnant, I'm just gonna have to be okay with it.
Starting point is 00:39:29 They will monitor me more closely. That kid is gonna change the world if that's how I get pregnant. Yeah. So that means straight up universe, God, whoever up there went whole life to God. And that was another thing where I had to just really get out of my head because Brock needs an emotional connection
Starting point is 00:39:47 with me when we're having sex. He can't just have sex to get off. Most of the time even when we have sex, he's like as long as you fit in, no, no, as long as you finish, it's like we're both so about the other person and he doesn't want to just have sex. Like if my head is not in it and he can tell, he's like, we're not doing this.
Starting point is 00:40:05 It's quite didn't work this morning. Yeah. You weren't in it. Yeah. You you can't be in your head because it's just it's not going to get you out of it. You're just going to stay in it and then the whole time you're having sex, you're just like, wait, but this, but that it's just and I don't want to fake it. Like I even, okay, thought. Oh, no, you won't even let me fake it. And I'm like, I don't want to fake this right now just to make you feel better. I would almost want to do the fake. But I didn't want to, because we agreed on that. I know, I know.
Starting point is 00:40:30 But I just thought it was, I was like looking at Shino just now, she was saying like Brock wants to be like emotionally intact, like with you. Yeah. I like looked right over at Luke, because his cheeks got red. She always has to offer. Chris and Hazeg got off first.
Starting point is 00:40:45 Yeah, that's not my role. Oh no, bro, we have to at the same time. And if I'm not there, then he's like, okay, then we're not. I'm like, no, no, no, you finish, you finish. It's okay, it still feels good. I'm still enjoying it. But he's just like, no, no, it's either both of us or neither. That's it.
Starting point is 00:41:02 I'm like, it's okay. I'm like, it's okay. Right now, if you do first, it's like, no. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say.
Starting point is 00:41:10 That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say.
Starting point is 00:41:18 That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. That's what I was about to say. It's like the hottest thing you could possibly see. Well, yeah, I'm for Brock, who knows that like I never had this until him.
Starting point is 00:41:27 Yeah. He was cleaning out my car and we first started dating. We were like getting stuff out of the back of my car. And I had these boxes from a podcast sponsor. And he's like, oh, do I'm going to take this stuff out? And I was like, I'm probably just giving away, honestly. He's like, what is it? It was like his vibrators from a podcast ad.
Starting point is 00:41:41 And he goes, where are you going to use them? I'm like, no, I don't use vibrators. That's so weird. I would never. And I'm like at 33 years old. And he's like, you've never used a vibrator. I'm like, no, why would I do that? I just have sex.
Starting point is 00:41:54 If I want, and he's like, but do you have orgasms? I'm like, what's an orgasm? I don't know, like I can squirt. Is that an orgasm? I don't know. And he's just like, we're gonna my mind. We're gonna try this. And the second that thing touched my vagina, I was like, oh my god,
Starting point is 00:42:09 this is a different world. How have I never done this before? Probably a lot to do with that it was him facilitating that too. You know, now it's like, oh, I can go in the shower with the vibrator. Yeah, we have a whole drawer. I do too, and I get in each house. Yeah vibrator. Yeah, we have a whole drawer. I do too, and give it to each house. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:27 You say we, you have a drawer. I have a drawer in my bedroom that you live in when you were in California. The one week of the month that you're like, one year than I am. You say, go to the, you say, go to the, you tell me to go to the drawer, and I'm like, hell yeah. I'm on that time.
Starting point is 00:42:45 I'm like a psycho when I'm ovulating. Like I'm already dripping wet, get the restraints, grab here. I like, I pull out, I think this happened last month or something, and I just pulled out a bunch of toys sat on the floor next to my side of the bed and I was like, you choose.
Starting point is 00:43:01 Oh, choose your own adventure. Shelf's choice. Yeah. Yes, tricky though. It's like when she says, what do you want for dinner? And she doesn't like, you choose. Ooh. Choose your own adventure. Just choice. Yeah. Yeah, it's tricky though. It's like when she says, what do you want for dinner? And she doesn't make the first answer. Right. Like the second answer.
Starting point is 00:43:11 So it's like, okay, do you want to just tell me which one you want me to use? Right. Right. Yeah, and now it's like, we have so many different ones. I've had so many different, either Instagram or podcast sponsors. Same.
Starting point is 00:43:22 Send me vibrators. I'm like, I will post them. I will talk about them because I do use them. Yes, exactly. Those are my favorite. And I think it's funny with what we get to do as, if we want to, you know, influencers because we have this platform, right?
Starting point is 00:43:37 It made us capable to be these awesome entrepreneurs as well. But it's like, I do want people to understand when we're posting about vibrators and dildos and whatever, it's because, it's not the same thing as like, I don't know, I don't want to compare it to just something really cheesy, right? I don't want to knock another brand. Something stupid and cheesy we probably don't use.
Starting point is 00:43:58 No, when we're posting about these things, it's because we really like them. Yeah. Because I believe in it. I'm not holding dildos up in a photo just because I got paid a couple bucks. No, I'm people say that. I literally am like, no you guys, we really love stuff.
Starting point is 00:44:13 Yeah, they're like, wow, you'll post anything for a buck. Oh god, yeah. No, I won't just post anything. Am I getting paid to post this? Obviously, because it says hashtag ad. Right. However, I also use this. Yeah. So you should try and I am fully
Starting point is 00:44:26 Use the vibrator more you wouldn't be trolling me on Instagram as much If only you could actually say that All right Yeah, drop the mic on that one. Okay, so I I So I just want to like wrap this up so you can get to being back to mom because I love you for having us over Yeah, things are coming over to me. It's so much easier for me And it's so nice to just get out of my box of an apartment that I'm very grateful for yes
Starting point is 00:44:56 But it's nice to get out to the west side. Yeah, I like our little mobile podcast unit. Yeah Yeah, it's so easy. I've done it mobile for so long like now I have a great new studio with your media But before that for the past year. I mean, I was doing it which was really fun. Yeah So you went off-roading yesterday So by the time you live here this will be obviously the following week with if you look on China's page She went off-roading with her sister with was justice there. I think was there. And I was texting with you and you were like, oh yeah, I'm going, I was like, so what time,
Starting point is 00:45:28 you know, can I come over tomorrow? You're like, oh, I'm going, oh, I'm going, oh, I'm going off-roading. Like, trying to respond, I was like, I can't rest on right now. So like, when do you stop moving? Because you know that you and I've talked about this a million times, I have explained this to Luke,
Starting point is 00:45:42 especially when you had the Palm Springs, the San Diego, and the Hollywood residences. And when you were doing sex tips in Vegas years ago, you literally would be in like three different cities and states three to four hours driving away from each other in one day. And now you have a child and a husband, and you're still doing the damn thing. Thanks. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:11 You don't even really, do you drink coffee at all? You don't. I drink more coffee. I haven't had any today, but you've never been like this caffeine person. No, I drink more lately. Yeah. But I mean, that's a cup in the morning.
Starting point is 00:46:24 It's like I'm having multiple cups of coffee throughout the morning. It's like I've been having multiple months to talk about the day. I don't even know how many years I've done you 12 years probably. Maybe longer now. Yeah, a long last time. And you've just never been that like caffeine or after all person, or you've never been that like,
Starting point is 00:46:41 I need this to move around. No, I just have that natural energy. And I don't know how I do it. Teaches. Teaches how? I don't know. I just like I always this to move around. No, I just have that natural energy. I don't know how I do it. Teaches, teaches how? I don't know. I just like, I always keep going. Even like right now, I don't feel 100. I kind of coming down with something all week,
Starting point is 00:46:55 but we already had this plan to do this off-roading shoot with Polaris. And I'm like, I'm not gonna bail on this when they have set up this entire shoot for us. Which looks so fun. So it was so much fun. So I did that, but then that probably didn't help me feel any better. And then I'm just, you know, breathing in dirt all day.
Starting point is 00:47:12 Right. But then today I was like, okay, can we push this a little bit? Because I just like need to nap when summer naps. And then tomorrow we go to Vegas for Britney's birthday. So it's like, I just don't really stop. You literally don't stop. You literally don't stop. And I'm a bar on 24 seven and I self a social life and a job
Starting point is 00:47:27 and all these other things. So I don't know, I just keep it going. You know, life's short. You never know when it's gonna end. So just, I mean, I love it to that. And I agree, but still, tell me how the fuck to do it. I'm just gonna say it's genetic. I'm ready for Shina.
Starting point is 00:47:44 Davies to write a book. Oh, I'm how the fuck to keep moving. I am going to be writing a book. It could be about a million things, but I mostly want you to tell us. That's why I haven't started writing it yet because I'm like, where do I start? Do I do?
Starting point is 00:48:00 You have a lot of fun stories. No, I have so many. And then it's like, do I do a book about my Hollywood holidays? Did I do it? Now that I'm a mom and a wife, do I put any of that in? But that's so interesting. And a lot of that makes me who I am. Right.
Starting point is 00:48:15 You know, I don't want to write a book about Vanderpump rules, but that's a massive part of my life. But I would like to personally thank you for one of your Hollywood holidays for helping me have a job for 10 years. You know what it means? Right? We all knew who that was, and we don't have to say it.
Starting point is 00:48:30 I explained this loop on the drive over. I kind of remember. Basically, Luke, if it wasn't for John Mayer, Vanderpump rules might not exist. Well, thank goodness he's so sleazy. Yeah. You know that I actually, Luke, this is so sleazy. Yeah. You know that I actually Luke, this is pre-e, I think I told you this. But IDM, I don't even care how embarrassing I sound.
Starting point is 00:48:53 Andy Cohen had posted a photo of John Mayer, post Alex pre-Luke, and I responded to Andy, like I sent it back to Andy on Instagram. And I send this photo to Andy Cohen and I was like, Hey, just so you know, like, I'm single. So whenever he's in LA, just let me know. And he was like hard at or like thumbs up. Yeah, but at the same time realistically, I'm like, way too many of my friends have slept with him. Yeah. It's wild that you can say that.
Starting point is 00:49:25 It is. It really is. Yeah. You know, a lot of those. You just found it. On satin Hollywood. Led to, I think we know every one thing you do in your life has like the butterfly effect and it leads to something else.
Starting point is 00:49:38 So if I write a book, I'm like, how do I not talk about that? Because that brought me to where I am. But I don't want it to be the focus on that. But I don't know what I want the focus of it to be. I do want to get into stuff, you know, over the past 10 years. But then it's like, but how much do I say? I'm going to have to have a new advice on someone that wrote a book that wasn't sure where it was going to go out either. You just start writing. Yeah. And you keep it all out in the open. And then you decide, hmm, does that add value?
Starting point is 00:50:12 It's kind of like when we're podcasting or when we're doing the interpunials. If it doesn't add value for your story, kind of what's the point, but you do it all. Totally. I mean, I could not tell you, when I wrote my book, How Many Things, Michelle and I ended up taking out, but then how much stuff we added that I thought didn't really add value. Yeah. And then at the very end of it all, after our editors
Starting point is 00:50:36 and all of that, we went back through our entire thing and we typed in every curse word we could think of. Yeah. And looked to see if that added value. So it didn't dump the book down. It's like, did we need to say fuck that many times? Right. We could take that one out, we could take that one out.
Starting point is 00:50:54 But my advice to anyone writing a book, especially someone like you who just has a plethora, decades of the most fascinating stories to tell. Yeah. You just write it all. Yeah. And then you organize it. Take it out after. You figure it out later.
Starting point is 00:51:11 Yeah, you figure it out later. Because your book doesn't have to be about Hollywood Hodeys. That could be like a section. Or a, or a, man, it's probably more than one time. I think. Thank you. I'm on the Trumps.
Starting point is 00:51:24 But I think you just, yeah, I really think that that would be. Yeah, because also like my life in Vegas was never shown on the show for one second. You never even heard about it. We couldn't even YouTube it. I know. I know they filmed the whole show because they had to film it to send to the people who wrote it and to like watch it and give notes and money. And I used to see it on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:51:45 Yeah, I know it's out there somewhere, but those were some of the best months of my life living in Vegas doing that job. Interesting. So fun. Being the host of a Vegas show. Yeah. Like dress like a sexy librarian. Like, are you kidding me? I know.
Starting point is 00:52:02 You never came. I'll never get over that. My friends. She won't forgive you. They didn't come to see me. I was such a dick back You were a dick back then I remember even personally inviting you at Pandora's Christmas party you Katie and Stasi were there and I was like Hey, I don't know if you guys would want to come but you know my show starts in a couple weeks And it's in Vegas It'd be really great and everyone just like looked at me like we're not coming to fucking
Starting point is 00:52:23 And like how and and if you think about it, sheen, like my little sheen bean, La La Couser Chishu, I call her sheen bean. And it's like if you really think about it, like why the fuck would I have not come? I know, because you're not gonna ever like. We've never had, we've had like weird little moments of spas. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:41 But our fights always were because of other people. Yep. Yeah. And now we're not doing that shit anymore because we ate all of it. It's okay. We can't go back in time. You did miss a great fucking show. But, you know, it is what it is.
Starting point is 00:52:58 But I'm again, just so proud of you for the new season of Interpunk Rules. I try not to be salty. I'm gonna, I told Bala, I'm okay to be salty. I'd be salty. It's, you know, it's hard. It's not. It's not true. You did a job for a really long time.
Starting point is 00:53:15 Yeah, but I am really so. And you got dicked over. Yeah, but I'm so proud of you guys. I showed Luke the trailer. I showed him the cast photo. I did not zoom in on the brow such a way. I don't have an eyebrow. Until today, because you put when you were posting about it, and I was like, why did they face to some of that? No, the most gorgeous, naturally beautiful people.
Starting point is 00:53:38 They made us look like AI and then took my eyebrow. Like, is is this gonna be like the new thing your Regina George cuts the holes into? Yeah, that's it. In the tots? Only half of a left eyebrow is in right now, people. Okay. No wait, no more bleached eyebrows. You just shave off half. Fuck the arch, we're just gonna take off the brow there.
Starting point is 00:53:59 For 2023. I'm like, who edited this? No, but I am so proud of you. I'm so excited for you guys and your lash line and your podcasts and your baby and your freaking husband and your multiple homes and using your platform and oh my god, well I told Luke this earlier too.
Starting point is 00:54:19 Luke, what do I want to be able to purchase this year from Gina? This year. Uh huh. do I want to be able to purchase this year from Sheena? This year. Uh-huh. I'm supposed to remember this. It's a sweatshirt. Oh, one that says mil. Oh, that's right.
Starting point is 00:54:34 That's what she wants to do. Oh, I know where you can get it. I said dot to your media.com. I said, I said Sheena has this cute little penny lane line. And there's one that says a mill on it. And I was like, that's my wish for 2023, is that I have a reason to purchase. Yes.
Starting point is 00:54:51 Yeah, no pressure on me, huh? Yeah, that's no pressure. I mean, really, no, you don't even have to pull out. That's good. Okay. No pressure. No pressure. He goes, okay.
