Starting point is 00:00:00 I'm fucking Johnny hot 2DX over here. Come and just touch it, can you give a four-year-old? There's a guy down there talking about doing coped to little kids. It looks happy though. Happy November! Yeah! Tell them Steve Dave! Hello and welcome to this week's edition of Tell them Steve Dave. I'm here with my two Globe Trotting friends Walt Flanagan. Yo! And BQ. Hello!
Starting point is 00:00:59 Globe Trotters, the both of you. That's why a little apology for no show last week. You guys are a travel and fools. Hugh, every time I look at Instagram, I see you cavording with a new celeb. This last time Paul Rudd, very impressed. I like Paul Rudd. He's awesome dude. He's everything you want him to be.
Starting point is 00:01:17 Yeah. Yeah, he's just the best. Ming's a big fan of Paul Rudd too. I mean, it was a big fan of Paul Rud mean, I used to not be. It's just my hobby. It was it was one movie that I was like, who is this guy? That was midnight. That was the glue list? No, it was it was actually overnight delivery that Kevin Swift's script in movie. I didn't see that one. Yeah, when I watched I was like, I don't like this guy. Really? Yeah, and it lasted a little while and I saw him in
Starting point is 00:01:44 something else which I cannot remember what it was. And Halloween, he was one of the Halloween movies. Was it? He's had the year of the baby. It was one way of like, Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I saw him in something that totally changed it around.
Starting point is 00:01:57 And then my love grew as Ty went on. And I guess, yeah. He's great. I mean, you look at wet-hot American summer and shit like that. Well, he's just, he's so fun. Even Anker, man, like, he's this funny. I don't want to give the impression that I'm he's great. I mean, you look at wet hot American summer and shit like that. He's just so fun. Even an anchor man, like he's just funny. I don't want to give the impression
Starting point is 00:02:08 that I'm pals with him. I was just in his orbit. Well, did you guys exchange phone numbers? Yes. All right, then you're his pal. No, no, no. I don't want to give that impression at all. He's just a super nice dude.
Starting point is 00:02:22 He gave you his number. You gave him your number. He gave you his number. You gave him your number. He gave Murray his number and Murray connected us all in a text chain. Oh, okay. Yeah. So I didn't even get the number. Yeah. So Murray's the Murray's is real friend. Yeah. I was just lucky enough to be around them. Yeah. Crack some jokes around them. Who else did you have? No, with a lot of hobbit and nobbin with this guy. Well this was this was a charity called Big Slick. I was up there saving you know children I guess I is you know it's for this show it's called a Big Slick and it's this Kansas City foundation that you know they
Starting point is 00:02:59 they have a local children's hospital out there and they'll they'll get in all these like you know names to come in and they'll do a big there and they'll get in all these names to come in and they'll do a big show and they'll raise money and then we'll do, we did the hospital visit, we went to the hospital visit two days, one day to entertain the kids and the next day to go like room to room and visit the kids and stuff like that. So it was really like, it was something special, but at night, the party happened and it was just so much fucking fun. We did this giant, we did the team mobile center, which is, you know, an arena, we filled an arena. It's did, and all the
Starting point is 00:03:29 money with the charity raised 3.5 million for this hospital. So when you say you entertain the kids and you do team mobile, like you're putting on a show. Yeah, for the kids, we did like this family feud type thing with their, with their answers. And we played family, you know, this family few type thing and the answers were all, you know, for the kids, funny for the kids. And then that was just to make children smile, Walt, and see the gleam in their eyes. The show at the team mobile center was they had tables and
Starting point is 00:03:58 they sold them like 10,000, 10,000 a piece, you know, it was all donors and stuff like that. And they just raised all this money putting on the show. It was they've this is their 13th year doing it I just got the invite this year because Rob Regal was on jokers and it went out and it was like nothing I've it was so much fun, but yeah, I will say someone who I am friends with and I'm happy to publicly declare this Go on is Richard kind That's impressive to me God on my spent most of the weekend with him That's impressive to me. God, I spent most of the weekend with him.
Starting point is 00:04:25 And a couple of the guys, I don't want to just start named driving here and there because that's nobody likes that. But me and Richard kind are, I don't want to say lovers because we didn't quite cross that threshold yet, but we'll be going out the dinner there. Yeah, I love the guy. He had a, you had a funny anecdote about that he accidentally butthilogy one time. Yeah, I told him funny anecdote about he accidentally but the algae one time.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Yeah, I told him about it because we met at the Beetlejuice, the Beetlejuice play. Broadway. And he came up and he was like, oh, I'm a fan of the show. But he doesn't that Richard kind voice. That's like just a fucking awesome lesson to. And so we exchanged numbers. And then about a few months went by. This is like a few years ago at this point. And my phone rings. And it says Richard Kine, but I couldn't answer because we're in the middle of shooting a bit. So leaves a voicemail and he butt dialed me what? And I was so excited that I had,
Starting point is 00:05:12 like I had met Richard Kine, he likes my show, he's like a genius, like he's, you know, and so it's just he butt dialed me and it was a three minute message. And two minutes, 40 seconds of it, where just you hear like, like this, the pocket, and everyone's in the while, you hear his voice. And then he realizes he butted out, so when he picks up, he looks at his phone, and clears fucking day, he looks at the phone, and goes, Brian Quinn, who the heck is Brian Quinn?
Starting point is 00:05:38 I've still got it. I've still got it. I'll find it, I'm playing it. It's's a starical into flading at the same time. It's so funny, man. It's like it's the perfect story because he's just like dismissive Who the heck is who the heck is Brian Quinn? It's really funny What uh, so you saved kids saved bunch of kids. I feel yeah, that's not bad So you saved kids saved a bunch of kids I feel yeah, that's not bad Why do you think the comic book man never got those kind of invites well? We we got the invite to save the animals and it went I told that story recently
Starting point is 00:06:18 We saved no animals so they're like if they can't save animals There's no chance on the planet that they got the enough cache a to bring him in to try to like, you know, get the big high rollers. Yeah, the safe kids. The safe kids, you know, like, that's the brutal honest truth. That's probably what they do is they start off with that and we'll see how you do. Yeah. Well, no, I mean, this is like,
Starting point is 00:06:36 the show's been on the air 11 years now. It took 11 years for me to get an invite to this. Yeah. So it's not like I'm fucking Johnny Hott, two dicks over here. Like, it's still most people are like, who's this guy? Yeah, I had a, I was telling my nephew's girlfriend recently about the, because you know, I know if he works with animals,
Starting point is 00:06:57 we got talking about animals. And I recounted that story, and if you hadn't heard it, it's like, we were asked to do a benefit for it was like a ASPCA type or something, right? It was in the fucking middle of nowhere. It was like in a field. Yeah, it was in this big field. They had set up some tents.
Starting point is 00:07:18 It was brutally hot, I remember. And we were supposed to just go there and sign shit and say, you know, glad hands say hello to people. Nobody wanted anything. Nobody wanted their hands. Glad you're glad. I think one person recognizes. If I remember correctly, one person was like, hey, you're the guys from Comic Popement. All right, see you later. Yeah. That's all right. We tried though. You were there. Yeah, we gave it our all. We could do the hospital charity thing. Just be a gay man. Do you have Amazon Prime? Because you could watch our show.
Starting point is 00:07:51 Oh, yeah, but we have, I mean, if you really were motivated by Q's, wonderful generous time that he donated to the Children's Hospital. I'm sure there's a children's hospital in Jersey. You don't have to go all the way to Kansas City. But will celebrities be there as my question? You are, this is what I'd be able to hang out with Richard Coyne.
Starting point is 00:08:15 I would think not. Ed Walt hit the high seas. Yeah. Again. Mm-hmm. Gonna call up our buddy Frank five all right now. I could not go on this this trip. I Fixes for you. Thank you I could not go on this trip because of a conflict in time with
Starting point is 00:08:40 Sage's graduation Now what I could have done can you hear it? I can hear it. It's a little hami, but. No, that's gonna have to be decked into problem. Okay. Is that hami anywhere? Yeah. I could not go on this cruise because it didn't get back
Starting point is 00:08:58 until the, like the 23rd, I think, well, something like that. Something like that. And her graduation was the 22nd. With a rain date of the 24th, and I was like, what's gonna happen? Is it's gonna rain on the 22nd? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:09:15 They get back the 23rd, which means I could have went. Yes. And the graduation's gonna be on the 24th. Sure enough, fucking, it rained all day, but, and this is where I was like, all right, maybe I don't have a total fucking black cloud. Maybe it's just gray. Maybe it's just gray over me. They switched the venue. All of a sudden, they're like, okay, the rain date isn't going to be Friday. We're still going to have the graduation, but it's just going to be indoors. Okay. Also, you get two less tickets.
Starting point is 00:09:42 you get two less tickets. So you're like, you take a marry, but they don't. Yeah. It was about as much fun as you imagine, an eighth grade graduation would be. Torturous. It's torturous. It's a bunch of bullshit you don't care about until they're like, sage, weedmire, and she goes up and gets her diploma, then walks back into the chair, then more bullshit you don't care about, and then fucking a half hour trying to get out of the parking lot. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:08 Why are we doing this? I don't know. Tradition. Yeah. And they're happy, those kids are happy. They're like, there you go. Yeah, and it's like, it seems like it's a, like I don't remember like when we were in sixth grade,
Starting point is 00:10:19 do you remember being in a huge deal that you graduated? Like I don't even remember high school being a big deal. No, it's a big deal. High school deal. Yeah, it's an accomplishment. You put in your dues and now you, you know, you get your day to, you know, have your family, you know, be like, you're gonna be somebody.
Starting point is 00:10:38 You did it. You remember those days? Wean for a day, yeah. I should graduate from something again, they can get more accolades. Yeah, so let's call it Frank Fie. We'll see what he thought. We'll get his thoughts and what thoughts. Yeah, I wonder what we're going to get from him because he's not going to...
Starting point is 00:10:59 There's no way he's reporting to you and me behind Waltsback and anything... Solacious. I don't think there's anything salacious to report. If there is, he's more than willing to. Yeah. Hey, what's up, buddy? Hey, Brian, how's it going? How's it going?
Starting point is 00:11:14 I'm here with Walton Q. Hey, bud. Hey, guys, how are you? It's up. Not much. I'm babysitting. You don't pack frag five is a babysitter, right? But you're, you're very close to close to your niece, aren't you? Yes, yes, very close.
Starting point is 00:11:28 I mean, she's a little hyper today, but yeah, normally very close. How old is she? Four. It's cool, man. Yes, cool age. With, we were just talking about Q, doing a charity for a children's hospital,
Starting point is 00:11:43 and he's getting all misty. And now he's saying that it's cool that you have a four year old. Do you see Walt a kid on the horizon for BQ? He's still a young man. He could still father a child. No. No. No, that's not happening.
Starting point is 00:11:55 Well, you know, you would have got to do is whenever you have the feeling of wanting a kid, you just babysit somebody else's. Yeah, I never have that feeling. So it's not a problem. I've never once even had a feeling of like, I wonder if I'm missing out on anything. I've just, those parts just aren't in me. I'm just like, I don't want it there. Yeah. So we're talking about how it turned out that like had I gone on the cruise, I would have missed the graduation, so I guess I made the right call. Oh, so yeah, you would have missed it then, right? That's too bad.
Starting point is 00:12:31 Yeah, I would have missed it. But this is the second trip now. Yeah. So I'm missing out with the Flanagan's and the Fives. And where did this ship go? Bermuda. Lovely. Tropical Paradise.
Starting point is 00:12:44 Pink Zans. Yeah. Where did this ship go? Bermuda. Oh, lovely. Tropical paradise. Big sands. Yeah. Did you got a horseshoe? Or is it horseshoe cove or horseshoe beach? We went to a beach. The first beach I've been on in decades. Yeah? It was something out of like a postcard.
Starting point is 00:12:58 It was like, it was a paradise. Yeah. This backdrop of this like amazing, beautiful, clean beach with the sparkling blue water, beautiful sand, like grass huts, and We played ping pong on the beach. Nice. Yeah. Yeah. That's awesome. Yeah, it's a lot of fun. Not too hot. We'll lovely weather. Um, I wasn't that hot I don't know if Frank can say the same thing. He looked like he's sweating balls.
Starting point is 00:13:26 He looked like he jumped into a pool. It was hot like midway through the ping pong game. I was like taking my shirt off. He was like completely fine. And I thought I was going to go into like heaven hard. Something was hot. Now to the wives, look at you struggling to pay ping pong. And and and silly annoying Waltz the Alpha.
Starting point is 00:13:48 I say, thankfully this was this was the second time that we played ping pong was on the beach. So the very first time I think they did watch us didn't they? And I mean, no, no, no, they were they were on the other side of the boat on lounge chairs. Well, we were playing ping pong. And then we walked around the corner and you walked around the corner, like, what happened to you? And you're like, because I said,
Starting point is 00:14:10 it looked like someone dumped a barrel of water over him from playing a couple games of ping pong. Yeah, well, I'd walk probably in a sweatshirt. I had a hoodie on. I was so hot that as we were playing I kept taking off an article of clothing and by the time we were close to the end of the game I was almost naked. I was so happy. People are like, are those guys playing strip ping pong? That's gone out. I rekindled my love for ping pong cue when I so much so that I want to get a ping pong table in the general store.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Oh, nice. Oh, is that where I heard you're talking about yesterday? Yeah, but yeah, I asked, get him. I was just like, have you played ping pong before? And he goes, yeah, and he goes, are you good at it? And he goes, no, I'm terrible. I was like, fuck, forget it then, because if I don't have anybody to play, you get better. No, he has no ambidextrous skills. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, you know we played many games while we were on the cruise and I got to tell you
Starting point is 00:15:26 I was very impressed at how great Walt is and pretty much everything Oh like shuffle Here it is, this is what I'm telling you about This is like I'm on vacation with the guy I'm just not gonna get real stories from him No it's the truth I mean it's the truth I cried as hard as I real stories from him. Yeah. No, it's the truth. I mean, it's the truth. I cried as hard as I could to beat him. I didn't beat him once.
Starting point is 00:15:49 Shuffleboard, we played shuffleboard. But I will say when we played shuffleboard, the problem with him was he just eroded me. Every once in a while. That's where I lost my manhood. That was the pink party in shuffleboard. So much so that back pack at the cabin, our wife was going, like, what are you going to do tomorrow?
Starting point is 00:16:09 I was like, I don't know. Maybe we'll go to Johnny Rock. It's we'll do it here. And maybe Frank was like, ping pong him. Oh, I've got to go. You should let him win one game. Oh, no. Oh, you are the alpha.
Starting point is 00:16:18 I was like, why? Because it makes you know, he has fun. And I'm just like, I don't think I would have fun if someone just let me beat them at a game. I go, that's not fun. It's more fun than we will on the rest and I'll stop. She's like, it's more for Mrs. Faden. Yeah, just do it.
Starting point is 00:16:40 Apparently, Frey couldn't get it up earlier. You got to leave one. If we went away together, and you found out that I threw a game we were playing, just because I thought you needed it? I might take it. I got to be honest. I'm excited. It's just losing. All the time, you're dehydrated from playing ping pong
Starting point is 00:17:07 and you know people are watching this but Frank you know I don't want to pay a picture like he was pretty good at ping pong yeah sure it's pretty good okay you don't have to get a couple of the other people no no actually you know it was that's why it was fun playing. Because it wasn't like playing like again, or somebody who never played. You would score points on this. Yes, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:17:31 Yeah. So that's what made it fun and rekindled my love for the game. Yeah, you got to get one. Got one. Okay. You owe it to yourself. But again, who am I going to play though? But like fans will come in and they'll be like, I know how to play.
Starting point is 00:17:42 And then you could just lay out the table and play them. It'll give them a great experience. All right, so you fold up. Yes, it won't even take too much room green light to get a Ponte yeah, and get a good one too. Don't just got the cheapest one that they have I'm getting the cheapest one Go mid-tier you you deserve mid-tier. All right, you know, don't get like a play. I'll play. We I'll learn how to play. I'm not great, but I'll play Be prepared. You're going to feel better about yourself after a race. If we're a good day or two after you. Oh right. No way. Man, that's not going to get me down. So you went on the beach. Did you go out the way the ping pong table was on the beach?
Starting point is 00:18:18 Yeah, it was absolutely like a shock to see it just like on this a wonderful, beautiful, paradise-looking segment of beach they had this little tiny cement block on the ground and they had a ping-pong table and you could just play ping-pong and they had like a bar like a nice grass-hot bar yeah you could go up and get some virgin drinks and your alcohol alcohol drinks. Not at Frank and Bob. What's that? Did Frank and Bob was he a drink?
Starting point is 00:18:50 Oh, I don't know. Did you drink Frank? After the ping pong game back in the room. By myself. No, no, I didn't, I didn't drink. No. We had a soda. Will your cabins nearby each other or a pile
Starting point is 00:19:06 Well, he got off to the wrong foot. I mean The fives are a little a little picky they Like the first room they got We I was going to buy the propellants, like, what was the problem? Like a sweet pole. Yeah, I wish it was cold, that we smelled. We walked into the room, and as soon as we walked in, the smell of shit just wafed through the entire cabin. And Mary, and at first I noticed it, but then I was like,
Starting point is 00:19:42 well, Mary's acting is saying to me, I'm not going to see you think. And it's going to be a lot of fun. I'll buy that for a second. I know what a nightmare would be to try and change it everything, but then she walks in, as soon as she walks in because she's carrying some of the bags, she's like, she's in here. So, I went down and I complained and I'm like,
Starting point is 00:20:02 there's gotta be something wrong with sewage or the bag of her whatever. So they send somebody down and I complained and I'm like, you know, there's got to be something wrong with sewage or the bag over whatever So they send somebody down and literally the guy comes in He I'm waiting there like 10 minutes. He comes in. He sprays a lie saw on the toilet and on the floor and Says all right, and I cleaned the pipes on the outside that you take care of it That was it like I thought I was gonna get to switch a room or something like that So it smells good for like 10 minutes and then after that it just went back to smelling like sewer and sucked it again So did you show you rooms?
Starting point is 00:20:32 Yeah, so I ended up having to go back down now mind you this is we just got on the cruise So like wall and that they've already been doing whatever they've been doing for the last two hours or so and for the first two hours You're up says like dancing with the lives of all you stand on the like for two hours, I'm just dealing with this room and we're in and they can be re-weighting lying. And so like, you know, I went down and I told them how the lie saw didn't take care of it.
Starting point is 00:21:00 But I had to wait like a 20 minute lying to tell the person it didn't work. Long story short, we ended up finally of it, but I had to wait like in a 20 minute line to tell the person if this worked. Long story short, we ended up finally changing rooms, but we weren't, they didn't know if they were going to have a room for us until they started sailing. So Mrs. Mary and I just had to kind of sit in the room and not unpack or anything and just wait until 6.30 at night to find out if there was another room for us or not. The one, did you guys set sail?
Starting point is 00:21:23 How long were you waiting? Oh God, we had between four hours. at night to find out if there was another room for us or not. So when did you guys set sail? How long were you waiting? Oh god, but you had been waiting four hours. Yeah, you have to wait in the room. I don't know why they chose to wait in the room. This is anywhere else that you can wait in the room. Because I thought they were going to come and check it out again. I don't know. You're the customer.
Starting point is 00:21:38 They fucking are supposed to be busing their ass for you. Not the other way around. You tell them I'll be up in the fucking poop deck at my ass Find you you don't work for them. I was right. I know we were Why didn't he felt service? Yeah, we were selling with the grim Reaper He was a passenger on the on the boat. Yes, I went died on the first night. Oh, no, it wasn't frank at the ping pong table Oh, no, it wasn't Frank at the ping pong table That's dignity some Humiliation some yes, so I'm parished on the first night
Starting point is 00:22:09 Well, they'd have we I don't know I I my wife said she said like there was a Facebook group about about that cruise And somebody was posting like you know rest in peace to the gentleman who passed away. They have more zoom about Yeah, I guess they either it right because I can't turn around. No. That last Joker's cruise. Remember somebody got sick and the... The interview was over. Remember a boat pulled up and then carted them away.
Starting point is 00:22:37 We weren't far enough out to see before the guy like something happened. Yeah, like a heart attack. Yeah, some of us his fault and his fault alone because I forgot my drama We send a boat for me Yeah, but we did all the this the first trip or first cruise that I partook in all the Almost all the boating activities like all the shit usually I look at him like corny But this this cruise I felt like I crossed that threshold
Starting point is 00:23:06 where I can do all those things at this age and not be worried about how I come across. I fucking love this, you don't love this probably, this is like... It's interesting to watch, like, yeah, like Walt let his guard down and be like, all right, maybe it's a little corny, but I'll try it. But like Shuffleboard is like, that's traditionally an older person's game, but like, all right, maybe it's a little corny, but I'll try it. But like shuffleboard is like that's traditionally an older person's game, but like I see, like, I imagine you even at the Ric play and play. Well, you imagine it kind of sport activity. You can, you can't, I don't play shuffleboard like an old man.
Starting point is 00:23:37 I play it, I play it like, you know, like Frank. Yeah. You play like a Spartan. Yeah. He, dude, he was literally yelling it. Yeah He was literally yelling it Why can't you just why can't you put the puck right here? Right here People walking by you know on the deck and the homosexuals are arguing
Starting point is 00:24:02 We're connected to money to come from you We were playing the lives we're playing the lives. Oh, you were losing to the wife Yeah, and I did that really set the tone for the rest of the rest of the What is what is Mary doing is she just like laughing? She's like scoring every time she No, no, when you're yelling at her He even tried like midway tried midway through the game. He was like, all right, everybody's switched sides. And I'm like, well, wait a minute. I said, is that part of the game switched sides?
Starting point is 00:24:33 He's like, I'm changing the rules. We're just switching sides. In the shock, too. But we did, me and Frank, we were a team. We got together for all the trivia contests. Yeah. And so, like, and I didn't think that anybody would do these trivia contests on the bow.
Starting point is 00:24:51 I figure people are like, they got there. They want to get their alcohol on, they want to get their freak on, if they're younger couple. Who's got time to go sit down and answer corny trivia questions? That's what they're there for, though. But damn it, if the place was unpacked. And I think did you, I think Frank won the movie score trivia like you. You know, we won the TV Fiend trivia. It was all of us. It was a team. But we won the TV Fiend trivia and then we played the movie Fiend trivia. But we didn't win on that one. That that guy and his mother did.
Starting point is 00:25:25 Yeah. What are the prizes for something like that? Well, I thought there was a possibility of cash prizes, but once I got there and I realized how late back it was, I was like, there's no way they're giving out cash, because if there is this laissez faire with the rules, like people are gonna have a riot on their hands. If like if somebody's winning $500 and you're like like, you're not worried about people cheating or using their
Starting point is 00:25:48 Google to find out what the thing was. So then I really made me go, okay, so I really don't have to like have to be on top of this. I think they're just going to be given away, you know, like a plastic whistle or something. Yeah, like a captain's hat, something corny and I was right though I think we got I think we got extra bingo chords. We actually played bingo. Oh, yeah, twice and now that's a really that's fun That's a bad but they were giving you cash on that. Yeah, that was like there's big payouts on the bingo Bingo is good. Yeah, but it cost you a lot of money to play bingo It does we did that punishment for sale on the TV show years ago when we made him play bingo and made him keep incorrectly calling bingo and stop it
Starting point is 00:26:30 all the fucking blue hairs get ice all that it was what I might be is one of the best punishments we ever did it was like fucking bananas how upset those those women got when i was a kid there was a there's a i lived a block away from a cath church and they were big into Bingo. Like they would play once a week. Huge hall.
Starting point is 00:26:51 And my friend and I every once in a while, we would walk into the vestibule and just go, Bingo! And everybody would throw their cards up and shake, because it's back before they had the markers. Yeah. And it got to the point where we got chased. Like they chased us down. Oh. This, Paul Shanley, I remember grabbed me. He was like knock it off. Well, one of the things that I really enjoyed about Bingo, because I keep Bingo, but
Starting point is 00:27:17 Walt has such a rose-colored glasses look at Bingo. And here's what I mean. Somebody won, and I obviously we lost. We were close to winning and we lost and somebody else won. And the normal reaction I think of anybody is when you lose. It's like, fuck that guy, you know. But once like, I'm so happy that guy won, you know, he's probably on his last cruise. He's with his great.
Starting point is 00:27:40 He's an old man. He's an old guy. He came up with this whole backstory of bat story. And then come to fight out the guy that had big go and then you know he made a mistake so like I started mocking him. And Walt turns to me and goes that's why you don't win at the casino because you don't have good karma. So then afterwards I went and congratulated everybody that wanted people to be loved. So then afterwards I went and congratulating everybody that why that turn your luck around at the tables We won we hit the last night we hit the the plot machine we did pretty good
Starting point is 00:28:21 Yeah, I was a hundred eighty bucks. Yeah, I think overall I probably was down about a hundred bucks on the in the casino Yeah before I find I was like no more. This is a scam on the casino before I finally was like no more. This is a scam. You figured it out. I lost $420 at poker this that over the weekend. How does that sit with you? Like how long does that? Who took it? Somebody rich?
Starting point is 00:28:38 I don't want to say Kevin Pollock took my fucking money. But he took it him and Sam Levinson. Yeah, they don't play for fun. They'll be guys. Yeah, they play to win. And the win they do. But I got, but I played poker for like, I mean, I probably paid four hours one night and three hours and next night.
Starting point is 00:28:58 So it's seven hours of entertainment. That's not bad. Yeah, I was listening to everybody joke and talk and stuff like that. So I kind of, I don't feel like a like a stung loser I don't feel they would make a fund of me as I left Yeah, we got into Bermuda and we went it Unfortunately for us bad timing. It was a national holiday So almost everything was closed. Oh, okay, and then it was like Heroes Day, they call it.
Starting point is 00:29:25 Yeah. And we were lucky enough to find a place to eat. But everything else like all the shops were shut. And there was a parade. So we, how long, how far did we fucking walk to get to watch that parade that never happened? It was, what's the hell's my fault? We, we, we, we watched probably about like 30 minutes in the heat It was probably 30 minutes away really long. No
Starting point is 00:29:50 Yeah, yeah, there's a lot of hills and stuff and when we were at the restaurant We're like so what is there to do in this you know in vermuda and the woman was like well heroes gave it Things closed, you know, but you could either go to the Aquario Which might be closed or you can walk two blocks to the Aquario, which might be closed, or you can walk two blocks to the parade, which is going on all day. So then I said, well, I guess our best bet is probably to check out that parade, right? But it wasn't two blocks. It was halfway across the island.
Starting point is 00:30:16 And when we got there, we waited and the parade. It never came. It never came. But there's people just like set up with tents. Like they're perfectly fine just sitting there like their whole entire day just sitting in a beach chair underneath the tent waiting for a parade to go by this. It was a highway too. It wasn't like a little road.
Starting point is 00:30:36 Really? There's like a major two lane highway that everybody's just sitting at waiting for a parade that may or may not come back. It's So sad. Yeah. I mean, it was so far, we actually had to take a taxi back. Yeah, it was pretty hot too. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:53 Did you guys like, did you rent like little golf card or something? Like when Q and I go to the Key West last time, he rents a golf cart. And I made all the difference in the world. I should have. Yeah. We shouldn't have done that. I didn't see any golf carts for rent though. Oh yeah, we had two cars.
Starting point is 00:31:08 Yeah, electric cars. But the wives are like, no, we don't want to do that. They're all like. Oh, it's a game changer. Yeah, we got to go on the tourist transit. We got to take buses. Oh, my God. Why?
Starting point is 00:31:20 Why? Why do we go on a bus? Why are you? I guess they're so afraid that we have, since we don't drive on that side of the road Yeah, and we'll be on the left side in the car right that we can't handle and either Frank or I are capable Well, they know Frank can't They're gonna be trying to play sports They were not having it. They were just so reluctant to have us go in and rent a car and drive around the island.
Starting point is 00:31:45 They wanted to take the buses. And you didn't, you couldn't, what do you think would have happened if you just made a firm decision? Like no, I'm going to get it as a driver. Oh, I would have got the ice. Right, but. And I would have got, I would have like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:31:59 I got four days left on this cruise. Oh, let's take the bus. Let's take the bus. Let's get a local flavor. I thought this was being odd, you know. I don't need it. What if you got it? And it went great.
Starting point is 00:32:15 And like, chuv loved it. Yeah, that could happen, but what's more likely to happen? I forget them on the wrong side of the road. Look at the idiots. I don't know where I'm going. I take us to the bad part of the road. I don't know where I'm going. I take us to the bad part of Bermuda. We get old. Don't think it back to the boat. We have no ideas, no money.
Starting point is 00:32:37 I guess I'd never considered any of that that worst day scenario. Oh, worst day scenario is all I hear. So if if I were to put my mother, I hear it for my wife. So it's like, I've been trained on the worst case scenario. Yeah, you know, that's interesting. You should say that because you do, like you're like, I don't want to like, not look forward to something, but not count on something.
Starting point is 00:33:00 All right. Like you've always been like that. That's interesting that to say that your mom was like that like prepare for worst case. Oh yeah. She was like, if you go on the beach, you might drown. Even though you're not in the water, you might be too close to the water, you might fall in and drown. You could fall.
Starting point is 00:33:16 Wow, but maybe that'll change. Well, I mean, like look at all you've been doing lately. Yeah. I mean, think of I'll change. Well, I mean, like, look at all you've been doing lately, like, yeah, yeah. I mean, I think of the people who have changed new job, new office, new office, new best friend, Frank, and you running around the world together. These are huge changes for you. They are. Yeah, we had a good time. Yeah. Yeah, not much really happened, right, Frank? I mean, other, I mean, there was no real, like, cluster fox or like, amazing stories to tell. It was just kind of real quiet and serene. really happened right friend I mean other I mean there was no real like cluster fox or like amazing stories to tell it was just kind of real quiet and serene yeah it was just a regular old normal normal vacation we saw the we saw
Starting point is 00:33:59 magician the magician I thought was pretty good I thought it was really good and then at the end of the wall it was, you put on the ship too long because you're getting loopy. Magician sucked. You're like, yeah, I guess. Because you can't figure out like how a trick was pulled off. I could see immediately how he pulled it off. Yeah. Frank and I guess it was like telling kid there was no Santa Claus There's like oh
Starting point is 00:34:28 I thought he thought it was magic Natalie go watch TV go watch TV go watch YouTube go watch the yeah go ahead the YouTube How much how much scotch can you give a four-year-old when they're falling But we yeah, so it was a lot of fun. I got oh god. I definitely think we got to do something again. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah, plan next year's trip, Frank. Let me let us know what it's gonna be. It's funny because Walt's daughter came, obviously. And all I could think of was this poor girl, you know,
Starting point is 00:34:58 here she is on a family trip with her family. And then she looks across the table and there I am again. Oh, wait, Alicia, Alicia, I'm with you. Yeah. Oh, I didn't know you brought her. Yeah, she was a lot of Oh wait, Alicia, Alicia, I'm with you? Yeah. Oh, I didn't know you brought her. Yeah, she was a lot of the gamble too. So we let her gamble a little bit.
Starting point is 00:35:08 Like gave her some money to gamble. She did the slots. She did the slots. Yeah. No, she was a, you know, her youthful naive enthusiasm was like, I'm gonna put this in, I can win hundreds of dollars and like, yeah, sure you are. You're gonna blow my cash out of my two seconds. hundreds of dollars and like yeah sure you are
Starting point is 00:35:27 My Wow, so did she have fun did you have different tripping? Yeah, she definitely she's just like I don't know a lot of people like I Were tired on a trip it felt like you know I was tired one day, like really super tired and Alicia was like constantly being like, I'm gonna go back to the room, I'm tired. But she wasn't strict me as like into the sun. No, she did go on the beach, but you know, then that wiped her out
Starting point is 00:35:58 for the whole day, like the whole night. Then she's like, I'm tired from being on the beach. I don't know. I'm tired of listening to Bury Frank. This poor guy, all they do, and I mean, all they really do a lot of time is eat. I mean, it's the majority of it. So all you're doing is eating and resting. And I personally was sick of the food by day three. I was like, this food is so bland. And I'm, is it coming from a love plan?
Starting point is 00:36:21 Yeah, I thought you would be like a 23 hour happy fest. No, it all tasted the same after a while and like everything just tasted and had the same texture. It was just like I couldn't wait to get back into some good old, very, you know, franchise food. Well, we went to Johnny Rockets twice. Yeah, that was good. That's on the boat. Yeah, there's a Johnny Rockets on the boat. You got to make reservations. You got any? You could just pop in. Oh man, that's free. No, it's not free.
Starting point is 00:36:49 Next are $12 per person. You can eat all you want though. Okay. You can order if I want 17 hamburgers, I got to give them to you. You paid your $12. I can't wimp you over here. You can't. Did you have any ideas for next year's trip or is it still too hot on the heels of this past one?
Starting point is 00:37:11 Well, you know what I like us all to do and I keep bringing this up and I'm getting shot down by everybody is to rent like an RV type deal and drive down to like Key West or drive down to someplace in Florida and stopping all along the way at different little attractions and stuff Mm-hmm. I think that would be a lot of fun. Everybody shot you down Well, it seems like I'm getting shot down a lot I think he thinks to get shot down is if everyone is not just like doing fucking jumping jacks at that So yeah, I'm like, yeah, okay, maybe we'll think about it He takes that as getting shot down.
Starting point is 00:37:46 Because people have been like, people have now been exposed to what Frank finds interesting on the roadside. So they may not necessarily agree. Yeah, I agree with it. I like it. I like his interest. His interest remind interest. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:01 Yeah, that was it. That was it, huh? Sounds fun. Yeah, sounds like a good time. Yeah, it was it. That was it, huh? Sounds fun. Yeah, it sounds like a good time. Yeah, it was a good time. Yeah, it was really wishing Sage had stayed back and that way I could have put away. Four Sage. Next year.
Starting point is 00:38:20 Next year, man. Next year, man. You love QS. You'd be in on the RV idea oh yeah yeah yeah so there you go Frankie if you include Brian you got you got a vote in we can't include it absolutely included all right there you go so we're done yeah I'll be down for that what's the good I might I might I mean I wouldn't take the RV but I would fly down to to me. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I love Key West You know that's your place right? That's my magic place. We're going again in August in August
Starting point is 00:38:51 Talk I'd love to go now with you guys. All right. Okay, West. Yeah, fucking hammered. Yeah, we're gonna all fucked up Yeah, we're renting a golf park your bitches All right buddy, well, we'll we'll talk to you soon. Glad that the trip was cool. Yeah, and they're talking to you guys too. What are you doing? She'll have Frank. Thank you guys. See you later. Bye.
Starting point is 00:39:18 What a great friendship for you. That's grown out of this show. Yeah, it's really nice. I mean the guy I got too many friends now What do you have how many? I got so many. It's just like you know, it's like I got a juggle and well. It's like it's almost like it's like high school Some get jealous I saw you're you're going you know Jeff was like you want to know the trip with Frank he Brazil is a little little is knows that a place that's just like what's wrong I go what do you know still my number one
Starting point is 00:39:56 just get him here that you know I believe in this you know what that's what say it's like it's like it's it's political like it's almost like politics office politics out there it's having friends it's hard it's like all those years I only had like one or two it's like it's fucking easy I'm wondering what I'm gonna face where we're going up to Connecticut I assume I'm gonna ride with Walt and there's gonna be Frank's gonna be involved I don't want him getting jealous I spent a little time with Walt when he gonna Connecticut uh early July yep oh for what where we When are you going to Connecticut? Early July.
Starting point is 00:40:25 Oh, for what? Where are we going? You're going to see a monster museum for a show we do in a patron called Browseight Attractions. Oh, how cool is that, man. And then we're going to hit a soda factory all around there. Oh, I'm so excited.
Starting point is 00:40:38 You make your own soda. You're going to make a TSD blend. Oh, I like it. Didn't save my beer company, but it might help you out. Oh I tried the it's in high permanent hibernation. Well, not permanent, but it's in hibernation. Oh, yeah? Yeah, I just it just couldn't survive the pandemic, man It was like it couldn't survive the pandemic and then also couldn't survive the uncertainty of the TV show Around one Joe left. Cause I was like, I don't even know if we're gonna keep doing this.
Starting point is 00:41:08 You know what I mean? So I was like, I can't keep carrying this thing and broke my heart. But does big beer control the beer industry is the same big beer? It's a fucking scam dude. It is, I mean like the bar is trying fucking rape you, the distributors trying rape you, it is swimming with you.
Starting point is 00:41:27 I work in Hollywood and the fucking beer business is more cutthroat. And I've been fucked over. I've been fucked over 20 times. Like, if I ever wrote, like, these fucking people complain, like, publicly about shit, if I ever wrote the shit that has happened to me in my career, like, I would have a hashtag and shit like that.
Starting point is 00:41:44 I've gotten fucked over the 80 ways to Sunday in the entertainment industry. And the fucking beer industry is worse. Wow. It's worse. That's an indictment on the big beer. Fucking worse. It's not even a big beer, it's the distributors.
Starting point is 00:41:58 Oh yeah. Yeah, they make you sign these abusive contracts and then like once you sign the contract, they decide whether they even advertise you with all the where you go or if the people even push you you got to give away so much free beer to bars just get them to use your shit you're just like the old days of radio where like with a payola yeah okay and people to play records and shit it's not even hidden they'll be like they'll say things like we'll go like there was this bar in Manhattan. I was like, no, we'll carry the beer, but when we started carrying whatever company was,
Starting point is 00:42:28 they like, they re did our whole tap system for us. So what are you gonna do for us? And I was like, whoa. And that was, that was standard. That's legal? No, it's not legal. And they said, they don't give me shit. I'm gonna be in the blow of the whistle, bro.
Starting point is 00:42:42 Yeah, like, set it on your side. That'll fucking do it That'll help the other places really want to get And they were all doing it All right, everybody out They're all do you mark the ray bro? No, like man first and the Martha ray you're my ray Martha will chair wheelchair dead I remember to write down
Starting point is 00:43:10 Fuck Mark Harris She was married to a gay guy a third of her age So you went in there all bright item bushy tailed and you just were fucking beaten down beaten down the body industry Yeah, beaten down the taken that is fucking shameful They should be shamed of themselves. They're not alone. You should, you should take them down now. No. Just go small now.
Starting point is 00:43:31 What do you got to lose now? I mean, I still have the trademark and stuff like that. I'm thinking of like, maybe finding a beer label already, like, Mings buddies or something like that and just being like, let's just fucking partner and do a label beer where I give them the recipe and they do it like under there company. So I mean, I haven't given up on yet, but you know, then everything happened on the TV show and fucking talk about all my attention and snap to one place and that was, you know, kind of the end of that. That's a shame.
Starting point is 00:43:57 Hey, it's a... How about you, we were talking about it before you got here. We thought that because we weren't sure why I shut it down, but I'll bet you you could still make a decent nickel in a merchandise. People love that merchandise. We do. We're actually the website still active for that,
Starting point is 00:44:14 and Helen doesn't now, but she'll do like four, five orders a week for it, you know, because we still got the stock. Yeah, it's all right. I'm not at all sad about it because the one I don't think it's the end of it, and then two, you know, because we still got the stock. Yeah, it's all right. I'm not at all sad about it because the one I don't think it's the end of it and then two, you know, it's just a new me, bro. I don't let you bother me. No more, what am I gonna do?
Starting point is 00:44:32 I gotta go. That's good. I noticed that a doc, you got a doc back, huh? Yeah, I make it. Duc off a water off a duc back. Yeah. How have you ever been pushed to that? Oh, constantly, yeah, but I
Starting point is 00:44:45 I think I think it started when I had my stroke and I think the pandemic really just fundamentally changed so many things about me, you know, I feel like I've noticed that about you that you're much more laid back and knowing you for as long as I have like the happiest you've been without it's not even close man I'm so happy constantly. Yeah, it's it is it's really nice. It's just I think I just grew up nice, you know and changes a person and stop letting things bother me and Like it's what I wanted to do when I got sick and I thought I was in trouble there I was like this is what I wanted so yeah, I've actually been hearing like a lot of people
Starting point is 00:45:25 Tell me at these days so they're like how the fuck are you the positive I don't know because I used to be a I used to be a dark angry Like fucking kind of motherfucker not a bad guy, but you know that was kind of the way that outlook was a little bit more cynical Yeah, I never wanted I heard anybody or doing anything like that So it wasn't like I was a prick, but like yeah, it was just a little more cynical and Yeah, I never wanted to hurt anybody or do anything like that. So it wasn't like I was a prick, but like, yeah, it was just a little more cynical and I'm not now in the opposite. Damn.
Starting point is 00:45:50 I know, but I try and hide it on Tellams TV, Dave. Why? That'll happen with Fabulous Wealth and Fame, I guess. Yeah, famous friends. Just hopped off it with Paul Rod. It'll group texting with Richard Kine. So happy. Yeah. It just kind of came out of nowhere.
Starting point is 00:46:07 Just just personal growth. No, not at all. Did $900 bill just fall out of my ass? Just keep it. Kurt, I've basically made fucking no money the first six years of the TV show. I don't know where this fabulous wealth is coming from. that that that that's interesting though that is a very interesting comment you're trying to suppress your happiness on tomsy they've why
Starting point is 00:46:33 uh... you know i don't think happiness is rewarded on tomsy day from either us or the audience i think it's better to a grudged that it looks like a sellout move i think when you find some semblance of happiness, I don't know. But there's also a certain... It's really interesting, though. Yeah, you think so. Yeah, that is really just like, that's fascinating that you're like subconsciously, you're
Starting point is 00:46:58 like you don't want to tell the audience or maybe it's us to how happy you are. No, I just, is it as funny being a happy guy? I don't get that, is that it would all boil down to you? You think that you're, or that people find more humor in someone not being happy or successful? I think so. I think so. I think so.
Starting point is 00:47:26 I think so. I think so. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun.
Starting point is 00:47:34 There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun.
Starting point is 00:47:42 There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. There's more to make fun. to who though like to me like compared to me say five years ago you were an edgier you how I think so yeah and now I'm I don't I don't think I have much edge and they said it has the rock star that's why you'd like they only have a finite number of years because they can't be angry yeah struggling musicians what is it they gain some level of success right they can't sing about the same they can't just have the same life experiences.
Starting point is 00:48:06 Yeah, but it's also I think a thing with this podcast too, is like we've been doing it what 11 years now. I mean, that's a quarter of my life almost, you know what I mean? And like, think about everybody at home, you think about the growth that you do in 10 years. It's just like, we just because of our relationship with our audience have been able to chart that you know I mean that and so it's like I don't know maybe maybe they don't like this
Starting point is 00:48:30 Maybe they like me. I don't like a happy cue. Maybe they like the me that was like just bringing up taxes just to piss them off Remember those years I can bring it up if you want It's just antagonizing the audience just the last but, but a lot of people like that. A lot of people love it. It's funny. So I don't know, but I don't wanna do that anymore. You know what, it's funny, I think about that. I swear, I'm not just saying this,
Starting point is 00:48:52 I think about the Tel Aviv audience a lot. And I think about how, this is a shit I don't wanna say on the mic, because this is very, this is absolutely fast, and I think the listeners are, yeah, to get this kind of like thought process that I don't think anybody would think you're thinking on those kind of much deeper levels.
Starting point is 00:49:10 I do. I'm just rolling in. I didn't do that deep. Oh, it's definitely deeper than I think most people would have ever imagined that you're suppressing a little bit of happiness on the pod because you think that it's not as fun as enjoying. It's not as engaging. I don't think. See't think see because like you said but you pointed to me like for
Starting point is 00:49:30 starting tellm Steve Dave and now what it's grown into has led to this a much more richer fulfilling relationships with other people that I had never had before you know that like just so many different people now I'm interacting with and can honestly call friends now. You like crazy? Yeah, it's an... I wouldn't suppress that though. I wouldn't think that that would be like... I wouldn't be like, oh I gotta lose my edges being a a loner douchebag. Like an unlikable cocksucker. Here I am. I know exactly like oh yeah, you know married the addiction the anger to marry you know what a daughter she's graduating now
Starting point is 00:50:27 It's it's it's crazy like you've changed a ton Yeah, and so much so that it looks like the the crooked house. Yeah, it's gonna be a thing of the past Whoa, I don't know people hate me for this Oh People hate me for this I'm putting in an offer that they accepted holy shit town It's Leonardo oh wow But it's really close to quick stuff. It's like if you want to
Starting point is 00:51:00 I'll be there every I'll be there every night. I'll be hanging outside the store. I need to get to the wall. It's my town again. Who are you? Call the cops. There's a guy down there talking about doing coke to little kids. It looks happy though.
Starting point is 00:51:31 Oh god, I gotta send me the hungry and service to me, man. Well, I didn't want to like jump the gun too much because like they accepted the offer but then you gotta go, you guys know you gotta go through the appraisal. Yeah. And that and all the other bullshit. So I figured when it was finally hammered out and actually real. Oh, this is causing a pull as a pull. Oh, how big is a pull? It's just like it's probably about maybe a little bit smaller than cues. I never seen. Oh, you never been to a few. I've never seen a full house. I never saw this pull. Yeah, mine's not big.
Starting point is 00:52:01 It's like 14 by 28. Yeah. I know sounds big, but like it's not that big. How big was it as big as my pool and backyard? My pool before Sandy Probably bigger than that. Oh, that's a huge pool. Yeah, oh my god. You know what though? Disposal we have this will be plenty of content filler right here. As I go fucking nuts filler right here. As I go fucking nuts. As you go nuts trying to maintain a pool. Brian Johnson was coming. I want to blame myself.
Starting point is 00:52:30 I'm going to say he just fucking got all chemical binds. Her hair is shocking white. Motherfucker. I just want... Why did we get a fucking pool? Why do we do this? Yeah, pools are not easy. What is his saltwater or clean?
Starting point is 00:52:45 Clarine chlorine okay. I did think of that afterwards. That was like I know Q has salt water so that I think that's probably better That's what it is. Yeah, there's our in there for you I mean I might be I'm not suggesting to do this I don't I don't know that saltwater is so much better like I just got a visible guy suggested it right there is no Chemicaly feeling which is fucking amazing. That's the best part like that sheen that that like I'm almost like you get feel the chlorine Yeah, yeah, and your hair and your eyes. It's not like that which is great But I think it's just a matter of swapping the salt for maybe the something with the filtration system But I don't I mean I don't have expensive equipment like
Starting point is 00:53:27 You don't have a pool boy Wow, I don't call him equipment You don't have a pool guy, okay, then that's why you don't have special and expensive equipment, but he's like he does he's like, he does. No, you're playing the film over. I'm into filter. Oh, he's just mad. He doesn't have, he comes, fucking comes once a week. I have a pool, like a retractable pool cover,
Starting point is 00:53:50 so there's nothing from the fucking clean. He comes, he dips his thing, and he looks at it in the sun to see the chemicals, or any leaves. And then I got a bill for 75 dollars. It's bullshit, but what are you gonna do? Wow, that's great. That was the two things that that were had to be taken into consideration was a pool for sage. And it had to be in middle town because she wants to go to school with
Starting point is 00:54:14 her friends. Nice. You know, check both boxes. Yep. Take the two boxes and then marry both. She let you know all the rest of the I'm just moving there. They really have a lot to say about. No, no, that's the way it goes. I mean, she, she like has the floor plan. She's like, I'm going to put this here. I'll put this there. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:31 Yep. Go ahead. Go right ahead. Super garage. Two car garage. You fuck dude. That's going to be great for the motorcycle. Motorcycle in the car.
Starting point is 00:54:40 Yeah. So hopefully it'll, hopefully it'll pan out and work out. I can't wait to get in my house warming You're gonna be fun fucking another volcano for a fucking different room Yeah, has a has a A coy pond to cool you know fuck check this guy. You're gonna have to maintain fish not me That's the first thing I said I I was like, what is this? Well, this is an outside fish thing. And the realtor's like, oh yeah, it's a coy pond.
Starting point is 00:55:10 And like you go by and all the like the coy are coming up trying to get like the pellets. So you were sure at the coy that come with the pellets? And I was like, how much can you sell them for? Because I know they're not cheap. So I was like, I don't sell them. But then Mary Beth said no to. Damn, you might be like, pool, coy.
Starting point is 00:55:26 Mm-hmm. It's a lot of work, that's a lot of new responsibilities. You're gonna be smart, but why do you do the winter, how do you do that? The guy said that they go down to the bottom and they just freeze, they go into like, hibernation or whatever. Yeah?
Starting point is 00:55:37 I hope he's right. I would go over that. You know what, check out on the house. That sounds crazy, that sounds like something like, you know, like, let's like get them bullshit that he has no one he's talking Yeah, and then later you got fucking a bunch of dead coin before we fish or you got five thousand dollars with a dead coin that you can't get rid of So yeah, we'll see how that goes holy shit That is you know this isn't made this is I think the our audience
Starting point is 00:56:01 loves bright really positive Things are looking on the upswing because it's all secular, right? Well, you think that they grew up with this as well, right? So the people that have been listening from the beginning, and I know it's a lot of them because we have such a great fucking audience. So they've been going through their own changes as well. So maybe you're right, maybe they see something reflected
Starting point is 00:56:27 back in their own lives. I mean, don't worry, I mean, it can't last forever. It'll get shitty again as our health fails. Yeah. As we crawl into our final stages before we leave this. Yeah, before it's like. I wish I could still play shuffleboard, but I just can't stand that long anymore. I see the one guy, like I mean, there are old people who are vibrant, you know, you see him all the time just
Starting point is 00:56:56 going out doing their own thing. They see these old people who are like, you see him every once in a while, they're like bent at the waist. Yeah. And I'm always like, I don't know what I would do if I was that guy Look, I don't I don't think I would leave the house. He's your way to avoid that I don't know because I don't I don't watch wrong work out. I would start doing some yoga while you think you might be a guy I think I could be that guy is your spine curving. I think I got school No, like like you said like as you get older you start looking at. Oh no. You're not like into some of that. No, not like, but like, you just said like, as you get older, you start looking at shit like that.
Starting point is 00:57:27 And you're like, all right, like, I don't want to be that guy. I don't want to be the, you know, pre-diabetic guy. I'm going the wrong way there. Yeah. Nobody does, but they allow it. Like a lot of people allow it. And that's the thing. It's like it's kind of up to me to allow shit like that or not.
Starting point is 00:57:43 I can feel that, like remember I got that epidural because my shoulder was fucked up. That was like two years ago, I'm starting to feel that coming back a little bit. Like if I raise my arm up a little bit, it hurts and shit. Like, damn it man. Fuck it, can't all be perfect. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's,
Starting point is 00:58:00 for those of you who like the negativity, there you go. Yeah, you know what I mean, paying some of the time. I'm thinking about these coy, like maybe these coy could be like your squirrels for me, like where I go out and I formed a bond with them and I love feeding them and I talk to them and shit like that. Maybe, maybe these are your guys.
Starting point is 00:58:15 That people do that with fish, you're right. Okay, of course. Then they know your voice. They can norm me all winter. They're frozen at the bottom of the bottom. Yeah. The, you know, we talked about going to Connecticut. They're frozen at the bottom of the bottom. Yeah. Yeah. The, you know, we talked about going to Connecticut to see the Monster Museum and stuff,
Starting point is 00:58:31 something we're riding up there with Walton. My only fear is that we may get into an argument whether micro-model is the softest fabric known to man. I hope that isn't the case. What are the dates in this trip just one more time? And up to Connecticut. I think six seventh. Six seventh. I'm just gonna check my schedule. I want to see if there's any chance. That would be awesome. There is no chance. We're gonna have a right now.
Starting point is 00:58:58 See, here's the intro for the, for the copy too. Are people still trying to make plans with you this summer? As if you aren't booked and busy already? You're just going to have to tell them to try and get in the fall. You got pool days, pride parades, bachelor parties, and beach vacations waiting for you. Miannis has their fucking finger on the pulse. I don't know, I ain't got any pride parades, but the other three, well, they're right in there. Pool day, bachelor party on beach vacation.
Starting point is 00:59:26 It's a lot, but thankfully, me and Andy's wants to help make this summer the most comfortable one you'll never forget because when you're living your best life, the last thing you want to worry about is butt sweat. And that's the way. That's the worst sweat, right? That's pretty gross.
Starting point is 00:59:39 Yeah, but is that the worst sweat? Like if you had to get like, if somebody you like, like, it was on my cheek. Yeah, like you're walking in a crowd of people, like if you have to get like if somebody you're like Like on my cheek. Yeah, like you're you're probably like you're walking in a crowd of people like if you have to have some sweat on you I thought somebody's ass Like this back up and you noticed on your pants like you noticed that when I they they backed up in this line Maybe you're getting into the movies or something that you had you got a little butt sweat on you all over my crotch and shit Yeah, I'm on your on your back up into me. Oh, it's on your hand. You feel it. That would be the least
Starting point is 01:00:10 Yeah, I wouldn't appreciate that. I would that's I wouldn't want that that's butt sweat on me. I think you're right That's the least is I remember or ma'am could you I want to tell you about this Yeah, you're you're really sweaty. I'm not sure if you've noticed You have a really sweaty ass. I'm not sure if you've noticed. Oh, I wish it was a micro-modal. Does it soak up? Everything is that while your ass is so fresh and, I don't know, I mean, it wicks it, I think.
Starting point is 01:00:39 It wicks it, so the actual garment itself is probably really, really needed being cleaned after you've worn it because it soaks up ever. You can't get one wearing this two days in a row. No, no, I think microdell has stated they don't need to be cleaned ever and it's still just really, really erosious.
Starting point is 01:00:57 It's unscathed in a copy here but we're just gonna go ahead with that. Yeah, I love me and I wear them all the time every day. I don't see why anybody would wear anything else. We're anything at all. I'd rather wear nothing. Nothing? Or are we undies?
Starting point is 01:01:15 Or I assume I've never, I've never, still never gotten a pair of boxes from them that I could wear. No? I don't even have a command. They're on their way. I got that scarf though, that they sent, or pajamas, or the fuck pajamas Browlets they got socks
Starting point is 01:01:28 Where sent me those brawlets? Yeah, I got nice brawlet Clevage sweat no more You know like leave it sweat. No, I don't like it really any sweat. It's kind of a turn off no matter where it's from No, you're like start you like press separation. I mean my own or was or like a honey's I mean even a honey and it's still kind of like You talking silly you're talking to a guy didn't sweat on a whole cruise wearing a hoodie You're right. You're cool. Yeah, and it had to be at least in the 80s, right? Oh hell yeah, yeah I think there's something wrong with it because I really don't sweat
Starting point is 01:02:13 Like yeah, I mean, I really don't it perspire. That's highly unusual. Yeah, it's always been that way, you know Yeah, as long as I'm there were times when we were doing comic book men like okay What do you want to wear for the season? And he's like, oh, wear these sweatpants and this heavy sweat, this heavy hoodie. And I'm like, what, like, can I just wear underwear? Because it's fucking so hot. This my entire outfit, my whole hoodie and my sweatpants are made on microdow. Oh, I wasn't aware of that. God damn.
Starting point is 01:02:40 Special commissioned by... I'm young, decent. Damn. And you don't have to wash those at the end of the day. Starting point is 01:03:33 We couldn't get him to go on the Appractal Jewel, Chris Cruz. Now he goes on Cruz's every other week. He does want to appear in public with us because he's showing up in the cards every other day. Yeah. He really has. What does Tom mom have on him? That's what I want to know. Yeah, July 9th and 10th in Morristown, New Jersey. I think it's a waste of time now, but I feel obligated to go
Starting point is 01:03:55 I just feel like anybody who wants to come and buy the book or see me can do it for free here So I won't know like who would happen to be up there. It happened to be there. I'll be there. They want get them to come. They specifically asked if get them could come with me. Wow. They need to get it.
Starting point is 01:04:13 It is actually on the list of guests. Get out. And he is over the moon. Of course. This is like, this is life changing shit for him. Yeah. He showed everybody yesterday that he was on the guest list. Who? a recording here. Jeff was here, Chris Ladondo is here. Oh, he's rubbing it right in the face. He was like, check this out. He's showing his
Starting point is 01:04:33 monitor. He's like, look who's on the guest list. Confirm. Yeah, yeah. So yeah, he made quite the impression on Bluejuice that they wanted him to come back. Was it, you think, is he working for free again? Uh, well, he can, they said he could sell whatever he wants. So like he could put, like he has these A by tens of himself in, like, safety gear, like wearing all the safety gear. He signed it. It's the safety first.
Starting point is 01:04:59 He gave it to Steve Dave and he sells him for $5. He's just fucking genius. Safety first. Fucking genius. Safety first. Nobody looks to him for safety. No. They look for him in shock and awe. Yeah, but like this is a big deal for him because he tells his father and his father ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha and Mesting his molars. What other guests there are can we expect to see here this side from you and get them?
Starting point is 01:05:49 Oh my god, I don't know if there's I don't know if there's a big Like celebrity protocols guest list on this as a as the one we write last time. I think right get him was was talking about him Stories he's telling about himself. Yeah. He's in a lake. Yeah, you were filming something. Oh, that's where we're filming. And he was the pyro-technic guy for a week.
Starting point is 01:06:13 And I love that picture, though, because I think it says everything about him. I'm seriously considering putting this on the wall in my house. I'm getting one of the sign photos. And I'll make sure you get one. Can you? Yeah, I will frame it. Seriously considering putting this on the wall in my house I'll make sure you get one can you yeah, I will frame You want to be what you on this a safety first. I want the classic now To Brian whatever wants to ride safety first get him Steve Dave. Oh, yeah, I'll pay him. I'll give him asking price for it Five bucks. Oh, yeah, I'll pay him. I'll give him asking price for it five bucks. Oh, yeah Yeah, but that's that's my announcement though, and then I'm going to see Chicago the next night with my mother-in-law
Starting point is 01:06:52 I got a big Scum, oh not as busy as cues, but my my calendar is filling up. It's nice. I don't know. I like no Dates nothing to do. Yeah, I know I stress out when I have too much on my docket. Yeah. Now it's just you and. And my wife and my mother-in-law go in a car. Oh, Kago.
Starting point is 01:07:12 I was gonna say, I'll have to have done a kill. They got a massive amount of hits. Like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, rock. Horn driven rock. Yeah, I love horns. Yeah. I know you're a big braska. Oh yeah. Always been. It's always like touch the certain point of like in my brain that that music. Like horns. Yeah. Well, what kind of cease did you get? Tell me to put her on the lawn. There's no we paid quite a bit for these seats I can't remember what to or but they're way more than I thought they would be right for you know a band of who I don't Even though there's any original members left in this band. It's not weird with these bands now It's like they they tore as you know Chicago, but then you're like well
Starting point is 01:07:59 I think there's one foreign player one horn guy. Yeah, yeah, I don't even up to original singers I doubt it though. Yeah, like when I saw a dock and I'm like it's Don dock and what you know, he's the voice so that's pretty important but the other three guys are like kids that look like they're in the early 20s. Yeah, yeah, I don't really dig that but I guess it's all about the name and you know that's you know a new band is not gonna fucking sell tickets so. Right.
Starting point is 01:08:24 For yourself docking and I I give a little to any Cincinnati ants Has a bit this is like a pre sale. I guess I'll even know the tickets or sell and it's not and it's not my show But it looks like I'll be performing Nothing but a good time with Brett Michaels once Once again, on the poison tour, the poison mildly crewed tour in Cincinnati in mid July. Riverfront stadium. No, that didn't make me know. Yeah, it's a baseball. It's a baseball stadium. Yeah, it's crazy.
Starting point is 01:08:57 Wow. Yeah, so I'll be. So how can that you couldn't you couldn't commit to more than just one date? You couldn't go on the tour with them well I'm going to I you know we talked about it a little bit But now that was it I was gonna go well. I was in New York, but I had that charity thing Mm-hmm, and so I text on my said hey I'll fly out to Cincinnati to come see the show because I tried to look at the flights times and he was like, you know He's my most positive Maybe maybe not you dude He is the new cute fucking positive, really positive.
Starting point is 01:09:28 And he's like, oh, we'll go back on stage. And he's like, we'll end the show with nothing, but a good time. We'll get up and say, and like, this is fucking so cool. Now, could you swing it and be like, hey, Brett, could you talk to Vince and Tommy? And maybe you can get a new number with the crew as well.
Starting point is 01:09:43 Hmm. What song would you want to do with that? That would be a weird ask. I think. Really? Yeah, almost like I'm going through him to get to them. I want to do two. I'm coming out to always since I want to do two numbers.
Starting point is 01:09:54 Yeah. What was the sound he's annoyed with? Brett, come on. And you're comming out. Talk to Vince. Tell him I'm going to do. Tell him I'm going to do. Talk to Dr. Phil Goode. Yeah, talk. Yeah, that's the one I want to do all right, no
Starting point is 01:10:09 I don't know if there's positive his breath and I really want to associate with prize positive people now I can't believe the crew is out on the road because I saw some videos of Vince Neil yeah I'm surprised that he's able to hit those those notes at this point because he Look like his voice was shot lately. I saw him at Barclays a couple of years ago. They sound pretty good. Really? Okay. Yeah. He never really had a great live voice. You know, he definitely was one of those guys that was a studio. Yeah. Studio singer because it's more the it's more of the the Motley crew vibe. They're going for. Yeah. The swag is still there.
Starting point is 01:10:41 But they were great when I saw him for a few years ago. So I'm excited to see the show and I'm excited to be a part of the show. And I haven't, I'm just letting the ants know that now. Now does that, does that like mean that like, is this a big party or do you like, do you just see Brett be fat, you know, be a little bit, a couple hours before the show and then you know, I gotta be honest, I don't know what I'm in for. Really, it's kind of like it's kind of like I'm gonna go and I'm gonna go find out I'm gonna go know as they say and see what they can do but you know, I thought this Tommy Lee broke four ribs I thought I read recently that something had happened to you. You may have to step in and drum oh fuck man
Starting point is 01:11:30 You know you have any drumming experience? Zero. Zero drumming experience. Do you think it's something like a pick up between now and Cincinnati? At all. It's somebody from you to learn drums? Never. Now do they turn on them? Like they're like, hey Tommy Lee isn't here.
Starting point is 01:11:43 So like, obviously they have a guest drummer. Right. They let Q sit into drum. Yeah. Well, how about they have the guest drummers underneath the stadium playing? Oh, huge is pretends he's nice. I do that drum. That comes down. Yeah. You get the crowd all pumped up. Oh, yeah. You got to wear that. Who's this guy? You got to wear that Tommy Lee like that weird, long, Yeah, the cod piece that he works I mean if I gotta do the show must go on. Sorry. I got a slap and I'm amalous backstage too Well now Shows definitely going on then just ask Brett Michaels if he can set all that
Starting point is 01:12:21 Did you did you go see all this movie? I am going going tonight. Go tonight. Yeah, I can't wait. I've heard glad a great reviews about this. I heard a lot of great views and and one of my my managers never got Elvis his whole life and and he never got why I was so interested. He called me after so the movie and he's like I get it now. He's like that movie. He made me an Elvis fan. So I'm I'm hearing really good things about it. To date what is your favorite Elvis movie? Well, his movies, I mean, not about him, like, like those biopics, like I know. Yeah, Kurt Russell, one's a fun one. I mean, how many are there really? I mean, the Kurt Russell, right? I like when Bruce
Starting point is 01:12:58 Campbell played him in Bubba Holtap. That's probably not exactly a direct translation. Did a Nicholas Cage play him in? Yeah, Cage played him in something. Yeah. He's got a whole bunch of illnesses. Well, you're thinking of, uh, uh, that Vegas movie. Yeah. But I think he, yeah, I get maybe that's something I thought he played Elvis. How much liberty are you? Are you, are you able to give the makers of this movie because as being a huge fan, are you able to give them like, oh, yeah, 100%. Like you're like, oh, that's not how it happened. It's more of a mythology thing, I think.
Starting point is 01:13:29 Yeah. Well, it said a painter's manager who was played by Tom Hanks as like a real scumbag. Oh, I think he was. Was it? I think he's widely considered a real scumbag. Is it? Yeah. He took 50%.
Starting point is 01:13:43 I mean, you fucking imagined that. That's a bit. Yeah, he took 50% You fucking imagine That's a bit all those like mega stars got fucking ripped off the Beatles got ripped off by But out of this new and he didn't he didn't consider getting ripped off really he felt that He was a name again. He had a he had a Colonel Tom Parker. Yeah, I was gonna say he had a yeah colorful name They didn't get along towards the end, but it was never because of how much money he took. He was like, he was just like, hey man, this is the guy that'll do this for me. And he did it.
Starting point is 01:14:10 And he's a partner and he did it. He fucking did it. So what are we gonna do? I read that in Vegas, they're trying, the Elvis estate is trying to shut down all the Elvis chapels. Really? Yeah, they don't want them.
