Starting point is 00:00:00 Recorded live at Corolla One Studios with Adam Corolla and board-certified physician and addiction medicine specialist, Dr. Drew Pinsky. You're listening to The Adam and Dr. Drew Show. Yeah, get it on, got to get on it, just gonna mend it, get it on. Dr. Drew's board-certified physician, that's fertilizer specialist all right i had a uh you know there there there are a few things that bring me joy okay and one of them and and i love them and god bless all you who do it the people that put together these montages of all the talking heads being wrong about everything. I do love those. Yes.
Starting point is 00:00:46 I literally, somebody sent me a 12 minute one the other day and I could not, I literally couldn't stop watching it. It's, it's, it's spectacular. No, no.
Starting point is 00:00:56 And, and people need to watch these things and understand, but listen, don't watch it and look at it through the lens of two and a half years ago. Look at it through the lens of what they're telling you today about any given subject. Right. These are the same people who sit there with such conviction and who know nothing. This is where the Gelman amnesia comes in, right?
Starting point is 00:01:21 You knew they were wrong there, but you assume they're right elsewhere. No, they're just as wrong elsewhere. Kelvin amnesia is what I have said for 25 years, which is you will never know how wrong these news agencies are until they do a story about you. Yes, that's exactly what that is. And then they get everything wrong in your story, and you go, all right. But meanwhile, in the next page the polar caps are melting scott adams keep saying they got that wrong too it's just you don't know anything about polar caps but you do know about you yep and you and and by the way it's not like they get
Starting point is 00:01:58 your birthday wrong they just get you wrong they're like so i mean and they're and they have a point of view about you that is just always distorted and nothing connected to reality and begs no issue. Right. It's 12 minutes. I'll just play three minutes because I can't get enough. We want to make sure that people can discern the truth
Starting point is 00:02:18 from the misinformation. And we want to make sure that everyone understands that no one's safe until everyone's safe. No one is safe. No one is safe. No one is safe. No one is safe. No one is safe. Nobody is safe.
Starting point is 00:02:28 No one is safe. Nobody is safe. This is a post 9-11 axiom. Safer but not yet safe. No one is safe. No one is safe. No one is safe. No one is safe from COVID-19 until everyone is safe.
Starting point is 00:02:38 If the whole world isn't safe, none of us are safe. There's a retard Dr. Florida Bowtie douche. Otez. Otez. Listen, you're going to see people you defend, like the Asian woman, Wen, or whatever, whatever. They've all changed their story. Okay. There's a lot of guys in prison for murder who are born-again Christians now.
Starting point is 00:03:01 Right. They still killed somebody. Right. You guys were still fucking liars who were wrong. And she hasn't really apologized, has she? She just kind of went, I've changed my ways. Yeah. Yeah, you guys sat and lied and scared the shit.
Starting point is 00:03:14 By the way, it's not that nobody is safe. Everybody is safe who's not fat and under 50. That's everybody, you fucking retards. Oh, God, it's so sad and it's like I don't think of these people like when you think of Drew when I think about people
Starting point is 00:03:36 who you know you go oh there's these guys that have figured out AI and what they do is they capture they go into nine-year-old girls' social media and they get their voices and then they use AI to call their mom and say they were kidnapped and try to extort money from them. And I go, God damn, like who are these people?
Starting point is 00:04:01 I don't think of these people as much different from that. I mean it. I just go, who are these people? I don't think of these people as much different from that. I mean it. I just go, who are these people? You're a journalist. You're a doctor. And you just fucking lied for two years nonstop into a camera. All right, let's keep playing it. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:04:21 And destroyed teenagers and young adults. Just ruined them. Of course. Of course. I want some shelter in place. That's the one. I would love to see that in a stream, in a montage. The whole world isn't safe. None of us are safe.
Starting point is 00:04:35 No one is safe. No one is safe. Nobody is safe. Until we're all safe. Health experts have been saying nobody is safe. Nobody is safe until everybody is safe. Nobody is safe. Science is clear. None of us are safe. There is no safety. No one is safe. No one is safe. No nobody is safe nobody is safe until everybody is safe nobody is safe science
Starting point is 00:04:45 is clear none of us are safe there is no safety no one is safe no one is safe no one is safe until everyone is safe no one's nobody is safe nobody's safe no one's safe we'll never be safe until we're all safe we are never going to be safe 99.5 percent of people are okay it doesn't mean anything. No, it doesn't mean anything. It's like one death is too many. It's the same bullshit. Ugh. Ugh. First off, people, would you use your motherfucking brain for 10 seconds? No child left behind. Nobody saved.
Starting point is 00:05:17 You know, this is a gun-free zone. We have zero tolerance for hate on this campus. These don't mean anything. These don't mean anything. They don't mean anything. They mean nothing. Can you wrap your fucking feeble brains around the fact that it doesn't mean anything what they're saying? So there's an old word, Fred, called shibboleth. Empty slogans.
Starting point is 00:05:40 Yes. That's where we're living today. Yes, that's where we're living today. All Michelle Obama and all Kamala Harris says is stuff that doesn't mean anything. And yet we applaud. I don't. But yes, go ahead. This is good.
Starting point is 00:05:57 That's good. 9.5% of people are safe and will survive COVID-19. The only positive thing out of this is we should be able to manufacture a lot of vaccines and nobody will be safe if not everybody is vaccinated. You don't have a choice. As long as not everybody is vaccinated, nobody will be safe. Normalcy only returns when we've largely vaccinated the entire global population. So get the fucking vaccine. You need to get vaccinated.
Starting point is 00:06:28 And if you don't, you are going to die. I know you're vaccinated. You're the smart ones. But you know, there's people out there who aren't listening to God and what God wants. You know who they are. The unvaccinated people. My message to unvaccinated Americans is this. If you are the unvaccinated, you are the problem.
Starting point is 00:06:43 You're the problem. Condemn them, shame them, blame them. The only people that you can blame are the unvaccinated, you are the problem. You're the problem. Condemn them, shame them, blame them. The only people that you can blame are the unvaccinated. Frankly, we can't trust the unvaccinated. They should not be part of polite society. Lunatics who won't take COVID vaccines. Walking around lawfully unvaccinated. A psychotic.
Starting point is 00:07:00 If you're willing to walk among us unvaccinated, you are an enemy. You have no right not to be vaccinated. You don't have the right to contaminate someone. You can't go around pointing a gun in somebody's face, which is what it is when people are unvaccinated. They are all idiots and losers. This is a real movement in this country against the unvaccinated. Jennifer Aniston is cutting non-vaccinated people out of her life. Unrepentant, unvaccinated.
Starting point is 00:07:24 They should be removed from the hospital. Those who refuse to be vaccinated should be denied health care. Vaccinated person having a heart attack? Yes, come right on in. We'll take care of you. Unvaccinated guy, rest in peace, Wheezy. Some doctors are saying they'll refuse treatment for people who choose not to get the shot. Why are hospital and ICU resources going to them?
Starting point is 00:07:45 Morons. Who will not get the shot. The unvaccinated clowns. Idiots who think that they can do their own research. Don't do any of your own research. Doing your own research is associated with conspiracy theory circles. This go it alone approach, doing your own research. It can have serious consequences.
Starting point is 00:08:00 You should get prison time for even questioning the vaccines. Can we all stop saying, I need to do my own research? That phrase, do your own research, four words, four little words that are hurting America. Doing your own research hurts America. Everybody has a supercomputer in their hand that empowers them to do their own research, and that's the problem. You must not do your own research. I need to do my own research. I don't understand what that means. I'm doing my own research. You can't do your own research unless you're a scientist. Don't do your own research.
Starting point is 00:08:32 Maybe you've told yourself you're playing it safe. You just want to wait and see. Rachel Maddow. This is a new vaccine. No. Grow the f*** up and get the vaccine. Unvaccinated people spread the virus. Get the vaccine, you dopes.
Starting point is 00:08:43 Don't be a f***. Get yourself vaccinated. That's just all there is to it. There's no excuse. No excuse for being unvaccinated. There's no rational and no emotional argument that adds up against getting your damn shot. There just isn't. But you made a conscious decision.
Starting point is 00:08:59 Hold on, pause it here. This is a great one. This is the best. The view is always the jewel in the crown of stupidity. You know what I mean? There's a lot of people that got compromised and bought in and whatever. But the jewel in the crown of stupidity is always the view. Yes.
Starting point is 00:09:16 Right? Yes. Most over the top. Most over the top. And they're annoying. Yes, annoying. and they're annoying ah that's annoying but the other thing too is like i don't know anything about vaccines and i'm not anti-vax and i didn't really care yeah but i was like um so you get vaccinated and and you don't get it and then you don't spread it.
Starting point is 00:09:46 Yeah. Okay. So why is an unvaccinated person dangerous to you if you've been vaccinated? Right. You're already immune. Why is it an issue? Yeah. That's where I was.
Starting point is 00:09:59 I was there then too. And I was like, I don't get why. In fact, I had the illness and the vaccine. I was like, I'm not worried about anybody anybody i wasn't worried about anybody well i had immunity if as stated at the beginning that the vax was a force field that protected you as everyone said from getting it or spreading it then there was a minute by the way and i and i advocated for this where the vaccine plus natural immunity looked like your best bet. Like that's how you could walk amongst people and not even think about it.
Starting point is 00:10:31 Yeah. That was wrong. That was wrong too. Yeah. But the natural immunity was the best by far. I mean, not even like close. Interesting. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:40 All right. But Fauci didn't know. Or Sanjay Gupta. They weren't. You know, jury's out on natural immunity. They didn't know. All right. Sorry Fauci didn't know. Or Sanjay Gupta. They weren't, you know, juries out on natural immunity. They didn't know. All right. Sorry. Listen to the view, ladies.
Starting point is 00:10:49 This is great. There just isn't. But you made a conscious decision not to get the vaccine. I also have natural immunity. So for me, personally, this vaccine poses a greater risk than a benefit. I'm also not a risk to any of you. Let's look at the science. So we see that the natural infection is given greater protection or slightly greater protection than vaccination.
Starting point is 00:11:09 This is a vaccine that was created to prevent severity of disease and to prevent hospitalizations. But the vaccine does not prevent you from getting COVID and does not prevent you from transmitting COVID. Oh my goodness. That's not so. Come on. You've been at Fox TV too long. I just really don't have to enjoy it. I just really don't think that we should allow this kind of misinformation. All right, you're going to stop it. Yeah, I'm sure she does watch Fox. Jebadiah, by the way, used to be on The View.
Starting point is 00:11:36 She was a former View member. Fox got most of it right. That's how come I knew about most of it. I watch Fox and not CNN. And people keep talking about these little isolated sort of essentially trials that run away. Look at Norway. I said, just call our trial Florida. Just look at Florida. We did that there.
Starting point is 00:11:56 All right. Let's keep watching. I don't know. I can't help it. It's so good. It's so good watching all these experts who are wrong. But where are they? Why can't they speak up about what they did?
Starting point is 00:12:07 I always, I try to point out where I got it wrong. By the way, if anybody remembers the guy said those wrong, please, please let me know. I'll happily like follow my sword or whatever it was. All right. Can I stop for a second? The virus. That kind of thing was actually what they should have been doing. They should have been using humor and music. Not this hardcore screaming at people.
Starting point is 00:12:47 That's the exact opposite of how you get compliance. And not how we treat each other, for Christ's sake. But keep going. Here we go. The virus stops with every vaccinated person. Do it so you stop spreading this terrible disease. And that vaccine, a key goal is to stop the transmission so that you get almost no, almost no
Starting point is 00:13:05 infection going on whatsoever. Expectation for vaccines is not to get infected. A vaccinated person gets exposed to the virus. The virus does not infect them. When the virus gets to you, you stop it. You're not going to catch it. You're not going to get sick. You're not going to transmit it. The vaccine is absolutely bulletproof. Vaccines block you from getting and giving the virus. 100% effective at preventing COVID. Vaccine prevents you from getting infected. It is to keep you from getting it and then spreading it. We have the ability to stop COVID in its tracks.
Starting point is 00:13:34 You're not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations. Biden tests positive for COVID-19. When people are vaccinated, they can feel safe that they are not going to get infected. Dr. Fauci tests positive for COVID-19. When people are vaccinated, they can feel safe that they are not going to get infected. Vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don't get sick. Pfizer CEO tests positive for COVID. Pfizer CEO tests positive for COVID again. CDC director tests positive for COVID again. Fauci tests positive for COVID again. CDC director tests positive for COVID again.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Fauci tests positive for COVID again. Joe Biden tests positive for COVID again. Cases up 258%. The majority of these cases are among the vaccinated. And this area is the most vaccinated part of Massachusetts. So many fully vaccinated people are testing positive. So people here are a bit angry. We are all really concerned about what this means long term. I was vaccinated and I got COVID and almost everyone we know with vaccinations had at least one bout of it. Our vaccines work better than we could have possibly hoped they would work. We are not the problem. The problem are the unvaccinated. The unvaccinated threat. Unvaccinated people are a threat. A direct threat. The threat to all of us.
Starting point is 00:14:50 The unvaccinated are a risk to all of us. People have a right to be protected from the unvaccinated. Maybe there should be laws that allow them to be kept out of the building. So at least, thankfully, they're not breathing the same air. Their freedom to breathe will diminish. Start firing the unvaccinated. If you don't vaccinate, you'll be fired. Time to come down on the unvaccinated.
Starting point is 00:15:08 They should be banned from the VA, banned from restaurants, banned from other businesses and colleges. Companies should not treat us as equals. Place unvaccinated people under arrest. It is the unvaccinated that has put America in the place that it is. We are losing freedom because people are unvaccinated. Anger towards the unvaccinated. I'm furious at the unvaccinated. Frustrated with America.
Starting point is 00:15:29 Still not vaccinated. Not to be vaccinated seems criminal. Suspects face years behind bars for coughing on police officers. F*** their freedom. For them. Charged with terrorist threats. You have no individual rights when it comes to the vaccine. Really, you're killing other people.
Starting point is 00:15:42 We're being attacked by unvaccinated. The unvaccinated who aren't wearing masks. It's the unvaccinated who aren't social distancing. It's the unvaccinated going to crowded indoor events. It is not your right. I knew these fuckers were lying the entire time. I don't think they're lying. I think they believe they're bullshit. No, no, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:16:00 You knew they were wrong. They were. What? Look, everyone on the view is a dull, empty vessel, right? Yeah. Okay. Starters, for starters. Their heads are empty, so it's easy to insert ideas into their head because there's a ton of room in there for ideas. Do you understand?
Starting point is 00:16:24 Yes, I do. I have a question before we launch into this. Was this guy brought, did this guy, the same guy that did our Canoga Park thing, that did this montage? I didn't investigate that. The voice, very similar. You are good at that recognition,
Starting point is 00:16:42 and there may be something there. Because it's been a few years since he did that Canoga Park thing, too. He's an older gentleman now. So what's The View do? What's Don Lemon do? What do all these people do? They have a lot of vacancies in their head. There's a lot of openings for bad ideas.
Starting point is 00:17:01 A lot of annoyance and a lot of hysteria. Right. So the ladies from The View aren't bright, and there's a lot of room in their head. And so what happens is somebody says something, but it has to be somebody on their side of the aisle. Of course. It has to be somebody they agree with. But weirdly, it's anything the federal government says.
Starting point is 00:17:20 Right. Anything the federal government says, or maybe J jesse smollett says in the first day or whatever it is so whatever this thing is kyle rittenhouse whatever whatever find can find some purchase in your feeble frontal lobe shall get in and then you will speak with absolute authority every single the one key component to what you were seeing was people who really knew nothing, who were speaking with absolute certitude about something they knew nothing of. And when I hear people speak with absolute certainty about something they don't know anything of, I assume they're either lying or they're getting it wrong. Right. A reasonable position.
Starting point is 00:18:06 Yes. You knew this virus did not come from the lab. You did. Now I think you're wrong. It's stupid or liar. Yeah. And the view kind of toggles back and forth between lying and stupid. And so you have someone talking about natural immunity and they're screaming at the
Starting point is 00:18:26 person. But it's hubris. It's also hubris. It's hubris all through and through. So Joy Behar, after being wrong about almost everything COVID and after being wrong for three years about everything about Russian collusion, could we find some quiet moments in your life where you might reflect and think, maybe I shouldn't be as certain about the next thing. Between COVID and Russian collusion, which really sort of bookend each other, I mean, sort of backed up against one another.
Starting point is 00:19:05 That's five years of Joy Behar being wrong. Yeah, and not just Joy Behar. Everyone on MSNBC, everyone on CNN, all those. That's five years of all you people being nonstop wrong. Is there a part where you could pause? Physicians up there, lots of them. Yeah, but they weren't on Russian collusion per se, although we know how CNN doctors would have come down on that.
Starting point is 00:19:31 But the point is, between... Ben, find out what year Russian collusion started, and then find out what year COVID started, and it was literally a six-year span of them being wrong. Oh, yeah, yeah. With no hesitation about- No thoughts now? About the next thing?
Starting point is 00:19:52 Yeah. No? Yeah. That's crazy humorous. You're right. Now, I want to give a little historical wrinkle, to be fair, that I do think the vaccine probably interrupted the Alpha and the Delta outbreaks a bit. I never said anything against the vaccine.
Starting point is 00:20:10 I got a single dose because appointment was made for me without my consent. I was dragged to the fucking pharmacy and sat down by someone who was annoyed if I wouldn't do it. I got one shot out of the two and i was like ah fuck it after this and i'm glad i did it because i got my fucking vax card out of it which never had double vax it never had the second vax on it but people too fucking stupid and was able to go into restaurants in Seattle and eat by producing the card that was only half, whatever. So I got my single shot that I did not set up and I really didn't want to participate in. But it was explained to me that they weren't going to let you fly.
Starting point is 00:20:56 Right. I got J&J because I was flying. I didn't want to get two shots. I had a terrible reaction. I knew I'd have bad reactions. That's why I just wanted one shot. Yeah. And I had no reaction.
Starting point is 00:21:04 There you go. But, yes. All right. We're going to talk to some calls. Yeah. Tim, 30, Los Angeles. Hey, guys, thanks for taking my call. I just had a general question about rule of thumb on family boundaries. My mom had me when she was 15 years old. Hold on a second. So, Ben me when she was 15 years old.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Hold on a second. So Ben, I need beginning and end dates. COVID 2020 doesn't, it's not overly specific for me. And neither is Russian collusion 2016. I need when it started. I mean,
Starting point is 00:21:42 COVID was end of 2019. Yes. It was like September. I mean, December rather. Yeah. The very end of 2019. Yes, it was like September. I mean, December, rather. Yeah, the very end of 2019. Yeah. All right, thanks. But then when did Russian collusion end? When did Mueller report come out?
Starting point is 00:21:54 Sorry, Tim, 15. Yes. Yeah, so my mom had me when she was 15. I'm 30 years old now, and I just got engaged. I'm 30 years old now, and I just got engaged. And it's been a struggle between my fiancé and my mom. My fiancé is always complaining that my mom's too involved with our relationship. And I'm just wondering what's a good rule of thumb for how to manage these situations.
Starting point is 00:22:25 Like, when can I say, okay, mom, enough is enough? You're always entitled to say that, right? You can say that at any point. What kind of stuff is your mom doing? Okay, so I have, you know, I have like about two duplexes that I own. She kind of manages those for me. She always wants to go on... Can I say something? And I'm at the risk of
Starting point is 00:22:49 alienating poor Tim over here. I come from parents who did nothing for anyone ever. And so I talk to people and it's like, I have two duplexes and just because my mom put the down payment down and manages them, she thinks she can dictate when we change the carpet. And I'm like, that sounds glorious to me.
Starting point is 00:23:11 It sounds glorious versus nothing ever. You know what I mean? She babysits my kids and she thinks she can tell them about X, Y, or Z. Well, she's babysitting your kids. It's something. She's managing. It's something. It's the opposite of what you were dealing with. I am telling you the worst is nothing.
Starting point is 00:23:30 Just nothing. You get nothing all of the time, and you'll like it. I figure out the dates. Would you, Ben? Is that what you're doing? He's trying. He's trying. All right.
Starting point is 00:23:40 Yeah. So, Tim. I'm on your side, Adam. That's how I feel. That's exactly how I feel. But my girlfriend is the one, my fiance is the one that's kind of like. Oh, annoyed. She's annoyed. She's kind of the one that.
Starting point is 00:23:54 Your mom's annoying her. Yeah. So like, how do I, I mean, I don't know how to parse the situation. This is a very interesting thing that you brought up, Tim, that I think drew, as long as we're going down the women and annoying and whatever. I've had many discussions with many women where they're like, what is that person doing? And it's like, I called them to ask them to help. What are they doing in the apartment without you? Because I asked them to ask them to help. What are they doing in the apartment without you? Because I asked them to help us move. Well, they didn't know. It's like this weird contextual, like mom is trying to manage the duplexes.
Starting point is 00:24:35 You don't like the way she's doing something, but she's trying to manage the duplexes, and then you're annoyed. Yeah. Yeah. So what is her relationship with her parents like? My fiance? Yeah. She, she's, her dad and her mother split up when she was around 10 years old. And what is their relationship like?
Starting point is 00:25:02 They're fine. She talks to her mom pretty much daily. She sees her dad on the weekends. It's a pretty decent relationship. Does your mom do things that sort of cross the line? You know, there are some times where I can say, like, hey, you know, you are coming on a little strong. Like I said, she'll invite herself to, like, vacations that we're going to go on. No.
Starting point is 00:25:23 Stuff like that. No, no, no. Yeah. So why don't you start with sort of physical things? Like, you know, don't include her in certain activities. Don't allow her to go on vacations. Because the emotional part is the more challenging part. Because you're so used to have your boundaries violated, You can't really tell when that's happening anymore.
Starting point is 00:25:46 And so you've just got to start with no. Am I under that? You have to. Just, Drew, don't address everything. Just don't address it. I wanted to go push the TV set back so it wouldn't catch on your chair. But into the microphone, you had to go, is there some problem here? I'm just trying to quietly do something. It does not need to be addressed fair enough if christ if if you can start with
Starting point is 00:26:12 just sort of getting boundaries literally physical boundaries around your relationship so she's not hovering she doesn't feel entitled to come drop in that there's just some structure to the her ability to come in and out of your guy's relationship. Does that make sense? Yeah. No, yeah. And you kind of hit the nail on the head.
Starting point is 00:26:31 Sometimes she does drop by and it does kind of bother my – Yeah. Just say, look, it's not that – she's a separate person. She has her own sort of ideas about how to maintain a household. And it includes letting us know when you're going to drop by. It's very simple. No big deal. Don't make a big deal of everything just start building a little physical structure
Starting point is 00:26:48 around the relationship the emotional stuff's gonna be tougher for you and and try not to if it's really going to bother your fiance you know don't ask your mom to be doing a lot of stuff i mean i know you're used to her leaning on or relying on her obviously well let me say this too. First, Ben, the Russian collusion. When was the first discussions of that? Is that not findable? Yeah, I'm looking at a timeline. Is there a specific incident you're thinking of? Because evidence of Russian interviewing in elections goes back far.
Starting point is 00:27:19 Or I don't know. Would have been during a debate with Hillary Clinton. When was the Stee steel dossier produced produced yeah that i remember him you can't just go sort of broadly russian collusion because that'll just keep going and going yeah december 2016 okay well there you go there you go december 2016 september or de. Was it September or December? I said December. Yeah. Can't hear it. You said December 2016?
Starting point is 00:27:50 They wrote it from June to September 2016. Okay. Oh, so Hillary Clinton was done purchasing the Steele dossier in September 16, right? Yeah. All right. dossier in september 16 right yeah all right when would you say covid sort of ended there and then uh the the dossier the muller report came out in april 2019 but when would you say the view got off of covid would be a year ago are they off it now i don't know i'm still talking about math well i'm going to be generous and say it was an uninterrupted six years of them being wrong yes about stuff yes is that bother them
Starting point is 00:28:34 at all um all right um here's the thing everybody we used to deal with this at Loveline a lot. Do not ask people to do a lot of things or let people do a lot of things and then protest when they want to do more things that you don't want them to do. Right. If you would like to kind of get your mom to get her boundaries and her distance and all that, you cannot have her working for free 22 hours a week and then expect not to come over and invite herself to dinner. You don't get the benefits of what she's offering if you want to establish those boundaries, but you may need to. Right.
Starting point is 00:29:14 All right. You can check out me and Brad Williams doing a stand-up show, pay-per-view, and that's coming up. Is that Sunday? Are we sticking with that? All right. Yeah. Live1.com slash Coral Alive is where you go.
Starting point is 00:29:29 Go to mcroll.com for all the live shows because I'm coming everywhere. What do you got, Drew?
