Globally, humans are facing massive problems that are widely ignored by governments and the media.
Like personal space invaders.
I've had it with these couples that sit on the same side of the booth.
Yak mouth.
Stupid stick figure bumper stickers.
Almond milk.
You cannot milk an almond.
Hi, I'm Jennifer.
And I'm Angie.
We call her Pumps, and we're the hosts of I've Had It.
Pumps, tell the listener where they can find us.
Apple, Spotify, Amazon,
or wherever you get your podcasts. Nailedinsky. You're listening to The Adam and Dr. Drew Show.
Yeah, get it on.
Got to get on the show.
Dr. Drew's Ford Ford, Phil Ford, Phil Ford, Ford, Ford, Ford, Ford, Ford, Ford, Ford, Ford,
and Dixon medicine specialist.
So I had some observations lately, and I wonder what your take was on these things.
First of all, I'm going to have Emmy throw up on the screen there some of the pictures of the Miss Universe contest from a few days ago.
Just the countries, you know, when the women come out to represent themselves.
It doesn't really matter which.
All right.
This is not.
No, no, no, no, no.
When they come out with their stills.
Oh, you want the actual coming out?
Stills of them coming out with their.
It looks like the fucking Masked Singer, the stuff they're wearing.
And I'm wondering what that means.
That combined.
We'll see if we can find those pictures.
Combined with Argentina has a new president that's kind of a wild man.
Did you see that, that guy?
No.
No, I didn't.
So he's a libertarian.
He reminds me of Maloney.
I think that's her name from Italy where he's screaming about – really like screaming about freedom and has committed to essentially deconstructing half the government, just like closing departments down.
That's his plan.
And it's interesting, this dude screaming about freedom, that A, freedom has such traction.
There, yeah, this stuff.
These things.
Look at this.
Wow, yeah.
I mean, it's keep, look at this. Wow. Yeah.
I mean,
it's just,
but look at this.
It's absolutely mind boggling.
These outfits,
they come out and it looks like the mass singer to me.
Yes.
And I've never seen anything.
I mean, all you can see is their faces.
And I've never seen anything quite like that.
No.
And I don't remember Miss Universe being like that and so i'm looking
at that i'm going well that's a change and i'm looking at this guy in argentina going oh man
that's a real huge change where this guy is going to deconstruct the whole government and it was by
the way interesting watching all the people crying that this guy got elected which all, which is interesting. And then for some reason, the three things that struck my
craw, the third was Michael Rappaport, which I brought up to you on Monday, sort of shifting
all of a sudden, completely changing his sort of tune, although still feeling the same way,
having a different idea about policy
and the way he was headed voraciously until this point.
So do these things strike you as all different in some similar way?
I don't know why they all came together in my head.
Like, oh, these are movements somehow.
I don't know if they're all related.
Let's see if we can break it down.
Yeah.
I actually really want help because why would my brain tie those three things together?
I'm going to give you help.
All right, good.
Although, listen, as far as Miss Universe goes, I have no answers other than it's always bigger, it's always better, you know, or bigger.
Yeah, but I will tell you the way –
Quiet.
If you looked at the NBA All-Star Game in the 70s, it was, you know,
a handful of guys and socks pulled up to their knees
and there was not pomp and circumstance and there wasn't the dunk competition
and they just played a game in front of a half-full capacity crowd.
You know what I mean?
They did their free throws between their legs to win it.
One guy did.
I said the 70s.
Well, that guy was still playing, wasn't he, in the early 70s?
I said one guy did.
You said they did.
Okay, I beg your pardon.
Anyway.
Yes.
Now, everything just gets bigger. The Super Bowl gets bigger. Everything gets bigger and more sort of visual because people get dumber I think there was one maybe, but that's how they went bigger before.
I think there was a couple.
And this is how they went bigger this year.
To me, that's a change.
Yeah.
Okay.
Well, there were two transgenders this year.
Were there?
Okay.
I don't know how many there were last year.
But the point is that wasn't what they trumpeted in as in terms of how they went
bigger they went bigger with this stuff which is different yeah i but it doesn't suggest a return
to oh no your version of miss universe no no no i'm not suggesting that i can't figure out why
they came why those three things struck my brain the same way, except that they were different.
You should carve out Miss Universe.
There's two transgenders, as far as I know.
I don't know how many there were the year before.
And this is an attempt at, you know, it's a franchise.
It's kind of losing viewership, and it's not a Tiffany franchise anymore.
So they're trying to not become the Oscars, essentially,
which is just, you know, woke themselves right out of viewership, you know.
Now, the other things you're talking about with Michael Rappaport or whomever, or the other thing.
The Argentinian.
Well, yeah, that I can explain.
Well, yeah, that that I can explain. So there's. You know, the country is sort of half this way and half that way, party does, what they claim to do, what they stand for and what's what's happening, you know. And so if you said to most Democrats, why do you vote Democrats?
Why do you vote Democrats? They would go, well, I'm pro-choice and and I believe we need to have, you know, people need to be treated with dignity, you know, and stuff like that.
But it wouldn't be a whole bunch of hardcore sort of financial stuff.
They just kind of say that, you know, here here are the planks of this platform.
And here's what I want.
Now, if you said to them, well, what about lots of homeless people living on your block?
They would go, well, no, I don't want that.
You know what I mean?
And if you said, well, what about a border that's open and fentanyl pouring across? They'd go, well, no, I'm not for that.
I'm for dignity and gay rights and trans rights and the women's reproductive rights or whatever euphemistic titles they give to abortion or whatever, whatever they do.
They would be for all that, but they wouldn't be for crime.
You know, that's both. Nobody, nobody wants that. You know what I mean?
And, you know, they wouldn't be for six dollar gas, although they would be for a green energy movement and stuff like that.
Well, so eventually, as it sort of swings harder left, then the stuff that the people who are on the left who voted for on the left it becomes stuff they didn't want they wanted
transgender rights but they didn't want pro-palestinian marches in the streets you know
and they did they they were for black lives matters but they didn't want people burning
buildings and looting and so you know they, they didn't want, and they're, they're for, they're for prison and court reform. So it didn't impact the black and the brown person,
whatever. There weren't four people who were arrested 86 times pushing people onto subway So now out of that 50%, 20% are just there.
They're not moving.
It doesn't matter what – it doesn't matter if every blue city is on fire
and covered with garbage and homeless.
They don't – they're just there.
I've noticed the way they defend it is they go,
oh, these guys are making so much out of the one guy that pushed somebody on the subway track.
They're making so much out of – remember Don Lemon and Cuomo saying, well, I was at dinner last night.
Everyone was fine.
I don't know what they're making such a big deal about crime for.
Remember that?
Yeah.
It reminded me comically.
I brought this up a few million years ago ago and I haven't brought it up.
I haven't brought it up again.
And it's been a million years.
But I remember watching 60 Minutes and they were interviewing.
This is, you know, I'll screw everything up.
But this is, you know, 1995.
And they're interviewing the president of Uganda and Uganda is, I don't know, war-torn
and there's rapes and pillaging and whatever,
but they're interviewing the president
at like a garden cocktail party, you know,
and he goes, look around, there's no rape.
I remember laughing my ass off, right?
But that's the same thing Andersonerson cooper and don lemon are doing
by the way emmy and others remember uh nine months ago when tucker carlson left and don
lemon left yeah at the same time yeah and everyone said oh, these two are gone. The two heads
of the head, you know, the top
dog at CNN and the top dog at
Fox, they're both gone. What shall their
future be? What shall the future be?
What did I say? You said
you will not hear from Don Lemon again
and go watch Tucker. You watch.
2.1 billion impressions
Tucker. Okay. Why did i say that because one guy don lemon doesn't
have anything to say that's what i kept saying to everybody he doesn't say anything he parrots
cnn shit tucker carlson has something to say they left i remember it was on the it was on the news
it was on on all the entertainment. They were treated as equals.
They both left.
What's next?
What's the future hold?
I said nothing.
For Don Lemon, he doesn't have original thoughts.
He's not compelling.
He doesn't have anything to say.
I mean, we're coming up on a year.
Tucker Carlson's going to take over.
Don Lemon, ah, there's film of him leaving a Miami country club, you know what I mean, with his partner.
There's not, he doesn't, it's like when they go, what's Mayor Villaraigosa going to do after his two or three terms as mayor of Los Angeles?
I said, nothing.
He has a 10 cent head.
He can't do anything.
Nobody wants to hear what he has to say.
And he doesn't offer any, he doesn't have anything.
He doesn't offer anything.
Why don't people understand that?
Do you know what I'm saying?
Yes.
And by the way, on the other side of the ticket, Tucker has very much to say.
Yes.
You may disagree, but he has a lot to say.
He has a lot of thoughts.
Don Lemon doesn't have thoughts.
It's funny.
As usual, you've been saying this for a while, and I just finished having a long conversation.
Well, I wasn't done with what I was saying, but go ahead.
With a friend of mine.
I wasn't.
Sorry.
I got to finish my thought.
Go ahead.
All right.
Now, let me just finish.
You're not going to move 20 percent of these people on the 50 percent side.
Yeah. But the rest of them on the 50 percent side, the Democrat, they start seeing migrants filling up their parks and violence in the street. Pro-Palestinian marches and people staying, cops standing and watching
while, you know, these guys are getting violent.
Yeah.
They're going to go, I don't want this.
Now, they're going to say, I don't want it because it now affects them.
Yeah.
And so you're going to get the Michael Rapaport types going who are not in that 20%.
Oh, so.
And look, it's the same with the black community.
There's there's a large percent that just go.
I ride and die with the Democrats.
But there's a growing percentage of them that are going, you know what?
It's been 50 years.
It's just not it's not none of this stuff's coming true.
And the promises are true.
Nothing's working.
I'm not.
I'm going to try something else.
That's what you're going to get.
And so what is the percentage of the Michael Rapoport types, would you think?
Well, it's a little confusing, my example, because I go 50% is over here and 50%.
And then once you get to the 50%, now we're back to 100% of that group, you know.
20% are just ride or die.
They don't care.
So 80%, roughly speaking.
No.
Then there's a sort of middle group where it's going to take a little more before they cross over.
There's a kind of a maybe a middle 60 percent.
And then there's an outer edge 20 percent.
It's a sort of, you know, it's kind of a Bill Maher types, you know what I mean, that are just, well, okay, hold on.
There's another group that's a kind of a fringier group.
So there's another group that's a kind of a fringier group, maybe an Alan Dershowitz type or maybe some of the others we know that have like – who have crossed over pretty quickly into – they saw the – they saw this train coming way down the tracks. Right.
You know what I mean? And went, oh, no. I'm not down with this. I'm way down the tracks, you know, and one and went,
Oh no,
I'm not,
I'm not down with this.
I'm out,
you know,
early.
That's a Dershowitz.
Dave Rubin.
Dave Rubin is a good one.
Dave Rubin was a staunch Democrat and saw this train coming 10 years ago and went,
and I'm not going to stay in this camp.
And so there's that group, but they're already out.
And many of these guys who write for Substack and stuff like that,
they were leftist, Democrat, progressive, whatever.
They worked for the New York Times.
They went, no, I'm not down.
Alex Berenson.
Alex Berenson. Alex Berenson.
And there's a couple of females in there.
Oh, Barry Weiss.
Yeah, Barry Weiss.
People like that.
They went, like, I work for the New York Times.
I'm a Jew.
I live in Manhattan.
I'm down with all.
I go to all the cocktail parties.
And 10 years ago, eight years ago, they were like, I see which way this train is heading, and this is bullshit, and I'm out of here.
Now, those are the people who are smart.
Those are the basic, that's me saying, the day Don Lemon and Tucker Carlson left, I went,
Don Lemon's gone.
Everyone else is going to have to wait four years, and then they'll have to go, Don Lemon
is not up to anything.
Yeah, I knew it.
Why did I know this?
But the point is, there's a group.
Now, as they get nuttier, then you lose the ones that are closer to the top.
The ones at the bottom, you're never going to lose.
Right.
I get that.
They're who they are.
But embedded in what you were just saying was something kind of interesting that I was just talking to somebody about, which is why can't people see smart?
They just can't see it.
They couldn't tell the difference between Don Lemon and Tucker Carlson.
That's smart and talent.
And I get people have trouble.
They're both talented.
Yeah.
Don Lemon's talent.
I mean, Don Lemon does a good job at what he does.
He's just not smart he does he's not smart
or he's corrupted in well I kind of said Don Lemon might show up on a daytime talk show that
kind of thing because I could see him well I'm not saying he's never going to work again I'm
saying no one's going to give a shit what he says about anything right and so what is it about like
I can really it's sort of one of the first things I notice about people is when they're smart.
Yes.
You know what I mean?
Yes.
And I want to be around it.
I want to learn from it.
I want to sort of – and I think – I guess you and I have had this conversation a little bit offline, which is there are just people that just go, fuck that guy.
You know what I mean?
They just like dismiss them as irrelevant
or who do they think they are.
Is smart threatening to some people
or they just don't know what it is?
Well, at first they disagree with their politics usually.
And so therefore they don't give them smart.
They have to be dismissive.
But let's say it is somebody
that they do agree with their politics.
I mean, there's got to be people out there that are smart.
People who agree with Tucker Carlson's politics think he's smart, if that's what you're asking.
No, what I'm saying is I'm certain there are smart people that are Marxists.
I'm sure of it.
And I would be interested in talking to those people and why they believe what they do and why they think the way they do.
Well, those people – and, Emmy, feel free to tell me when Tucker and Don left the airway, by the way, just out of curiosity.
Those people are smart people who are damaged by their family of origin, and that always comes first.
I mean, it trumps smart, you know what I mean, in terms of your actions.
Well, the smart gets used on behalf of whatever else is going on.
Yeah, those are people who got molested by their stepdad or whatever, their dad,
you know, some sort of something at home, and then they just carry that into life
and can be high IQ.
Right, but the point is still people would not understand what that is.
They would not see it.
That's what I feel.
What do you mean they wouldn't?
They would really not understand what real smart is.
Oh, okay.
They just would not quite get it.
Okay.
Like maybe I've been around so much of it in the science world where the math and the science where you're like, oh, shit, that is horsepower.
And you want to be around it. I meanon musk got horsepower oh my god uh end of april by the
way is when they when they left so six eight months almost yeah yeah all right let me tell
you about our friend jordan harbinger you're about to hear a preview of the jordan harbinger show
with the world's best counterfeiter how long long does it take to print $250 million?
Five months.
It needs to be worthwhile.
It's gonna need to be perfect.
12,500 kilos or over eight Toyota Camrys
or six Ford F-150s.
That is multiple metric tons of cash.
You must have been stoked, man,
because you knew you were going to put $20 bills
all over all of that
and then just never work again.
Yes.
By design,
there are people specifically looking for you all the time.
This is all they do.
You can tell them whatever you want. They're not dummies. I mean, this is as high as it goes. This is top all the time. This is all they do. You can tell them whatever you want.
They're not dummies. I mean, this is as high as it goes. This is top of the line.

Yeah, not recognizing smart is a very interesting subject.
It is to me.
And it comes in a few forms.
It's usually I disagree with the person's policies or whatever.
Oftentimes it's damage from the past that affects and colors the thinking of today. And oftentimes it's an inability or a tell as to how smart the person is
who's trying to perceive the smart.
You would think that would cause them to perceive it more acutely
or be at least more fascinated by it, right?
If you take that person and say,
we're going to have a debating team or a math team,
you get to pick.
Do you think they'd know who to pick?
Yes, they would.
I'm not sure.
That's what I'm noticing.
No, you don't think they'd pick Ben Shapiro to be on their side?
They might pick somebody who is ostentatiously, you know, sort of smart.
But there are a lot of people that are just quietly, brr, horsepower.
And I don't think they would appreciate that.
And I can pick up on it like I don't know what it is.
Well, they – okay.
If there was a problem to solve, they may hate Elon Musk, but they would pick him to solve the problem.
So I don't think that premise is correct.
But dumb people do not recognize smart people and average people oftentimes who are narcissists or who have a lot of other feelings bubbling around in them, do not recognize smart people.
And it's a big problem.
I've been saying this for a long time.
Because they don't know who to follow then.
They don't know who to listen to.
Right?
Yes.
And they don't understand it just like a nine-year-old
wouldn't understand certain comics.
You know what I mean?
They would understand other comics you know what i mean they would understand other
comics maybe that a prop comic or one that was you know doing knock knock jokes or something but
they don't they wouldn't understand who the comedic you know the all the pantheon of comedic
greats would all fall on deaf ears if it was for second graders. Yeah. They would not appreciate them. And they would, in fact, appreciate other lesser comics more who are more basic, you know, and less intelligent.
So this is an issue.
It's always been an issue.
It's becoming a bigger issue now.
And some of it is a chick think part.
Yes.
And some of it is a chick think part.
You know, anyone who's had that discussion with a woman, they kind of know what they know and they have their feelings.
And you don't hear them pontificating out loud.
Here's my whole feeling.
Here it is.
You ready?
Ready.
Oprah and Michelle Obama don't say anything, but women worship at the altar of Oprah, right?
But they never describe her smart.
They just go, you got to hear what she has to say about lifting yourself up and embracing yourself.
And she said, you should hug yourself every day.
She's persuasive.
They wouldn't say persuasive.
They just go, I like her. You know, guys constantly talk about smart.
That's almost kind of a dude thing.
Interesting.
It's more the dude part of the brain who talk about this guy's so smart.
You know, women say this guy's funny.
This guy's so nice.
This guy's annoying.
Or he's annoyed.
Those carp are annoyed by the ducks.
Everything's annoying or everyone's nice or this guy's super sweet.
Yeah.
And sometimes they do stuff like, oh, this guy's killing it in business.
You know, that kind of stuff.
But they don't talk about smart.
Men talk about smart.
Interesting.
Much more than women.
Yeah.
So it's not such a commodity on the woman's side.
When I think about smart, I think about problem solving.
Yeah, they would describe Michelle Obama as courageous and uplifting and an example to be followed.
But they don't really talk about smart.
You know, I was once at a school board meeting back like 30 years ago, and I was listening to some of the representatives talking.
I thought, oh, my God, this is an education program. These people have never been exposed to real education.
They really don't know what it is. And so I always thought that was kind of the problem
that people didn't appreciate what education was. You know, I've been a big champion of
that. I'm not sure anymore. I think that's an issue. But it becomes so indoctrinated.
I'm not sure anymore.
But the smarts part is now the part that has sort of bled through where people don't get what it is.
And how smart Jay Bhattacharya is, right?
Like I spoke to him for two seconds.
I'm like, oh, I can feel the horsepower.
I know what's there.
And that they choose to silence that guy?
Yes.
That tells you something.
That's because he was threatening, I guess.
You know, anybody that's decorated and smart,
that's the guy we have to get over.
It's like Maoist China.
Right.
Think about that, man.
People got to really think about what they've been doing. We have to get over it. It's like Maoist China. Right. Think about that, man.
People got to really think about what they've been doing.
People do not put a premium on smart and they don't recognize it.
And, you know, I'm just repeating what you said, essentially.
But it's an issue.
It's been an issue.
It's always going to be an issue uh i don't know why people don't like you and i well you go well that guy's smart so i think
i'll listen to what he has to say and i won't necessarily agree with all of it but i'll listen to it. Oh, yeah. I want to hear the reasoning. Right, right.
And people that are average or dumb, not interested.
They want to hear what they think.
That's what they want.
And what Oprah and Michelle Obama do is they tell them what they think.
And that's what Barack Obama did too.
Beautifully.
He told,
he was saying what you were thinking.
Why is that satisfying for people?
When you're dumb and or average,
that's a very important part of your construct because the rest of the,
the construct is not really working.
It's not,
not satisfying.
What do you mean by con?
I'm sorry.
What do you mean by construct?
I mean,
your life is,
is that of a unsuccessful person,
right?
So your,
your car's breaking down and it's tough to make rent and
things are you'd like to go to Hawaii for vacation, but you can't afford it and so on and so
forth. So the mechanical, physical, tangible world is not around you, is not really working for you.
Yeah. And you turn on the TV and you see what's the lifestyles of the rich and famous.
So they're not showing the show anymore.
But, you know, Taylor Swift and Beyonce are flying private jets than the Kardashians.
The big gala ball and the Met ball.
And, you know, you get it.
That's not you.
You're not living it.
Your life is that of a poor person who has to wait in line. Kind of just think about it. So now somebody comes up there and you're not able to fix your physical, tangible life,
but they're telling you things that make you feel better about yourself.
They're explaining it's not your fault.
It's the color of your skin.
It's because you're a woman.
You can't do anything.
And there's a soothe, you know, it's, you know, like grandpa's dying in his hospital bed and you're whispering in your ears.
Everyone loves you.
You know, you've lived a righteous life.
You know, what are you doing?
Well, you're not saving him.
You're just kind of sending him off.
Making him feel better.
Make him feel better.
He's in pain.
That resonates, right? him you're just kind of sending him off making him feel better yeah make him feel better he's in pain then that's that that resonates right it's interesting to me though that you just brought
up an issue that i've thought of a long time is that you know lifestyles of the russian famous
was this thing everyone watched in the 80s and it caused jealousy but not envy now if you were to
play that today people would literally go attack those people yes out of the envy they feel well i mean not including not the
robin leach would have been attacking your point further which is they wouldn't no celebrity would
agree to do it yeah because you'd get attacked right right and robin leach would get attacked
for even interviewing those people that's the really interesting part let's see how dare you
platform these people yes platform giving them a voice you know what the
hell you're giving morgan fairchild a voice yes i i know it's so weird it's it's uh what they call
problematic drew that we've gone this from whatever the equivalent of diet and exercise.
And I've repeated this 10,000 times and we're going to some other direction that has that.
That is a math that can never work out.
That's that's that's all.
And it'll it'll never it'll never work out. Alright, on that
uplifting note, Fargo
