Yeah, get it on, got to get on the... Dr. Drew, board certified Zism, that's...
What's going on there, Drusky?
Oh, I've got a million things.
A million things.
Fauci testified, we haven't really talked about that in great detail, I've got some
thoughts about that.
But I wanted to just quickly talk about one other thing, which we've also never spoken
about.
Michael Richards, right, from Seinfeld went on this weird rant at I
think it was at the Laugh Factory or the Comedy Club.
Laugh Factory.
Laugh Factory. And was cancelled and ignominiously sort of drummed out of the business and stuff.
And he's talking again and people are listening to him. But it made me, there he is.
Do we want to?
Well, if you really want comedy, Drew.
Go, Michael Richards.
Well, Seinfeld's funny, but the funniest conversation I had was about Gloria when I
spoke to Gloria all read about him.
Oh, yeah.
And it was magnificent because that's where the term crystal brain was hatched because she was telling me as this happened in 07, 08,
I can't remember when the event happened,
but it was somewhere in there, it was in there.
Yeah, 06.
So it's been, 06?
That's what it says on our records.
Oh, well it's so weird because,
you know, it's weird how the human brain works.
So I did morning radio 06, 07, 08, and barely into nine. I did like three years and three months
or something like that, right?
And I do remember who I spoke to in those, in that period. You know what I'm saying?
I know. It's weird. I have memories like that too.
Yeah, that's how you have to have it. I spoke this guy on Loveline,
then I talked to that guy on the podcast,
this guy on the morning show.
So I know I talked to Gloria already on the morning show,
but I always throw out the first year.
I always go, oh, it wasn't the first year,
it must've been in the middle.
I just go to the middle of it.
So if I was talking to her about this incident,
I go, oh, seven, oh, wait. Yeah. I don't go six. I was like, that was the first year,
but I don't know why I wouldn't have talked to her in the first year. Yeah. But anyway,
so now we're coming up on 20 years, 18 years of this, this event dropped, I don't know,
50 N bombs on the, on the stage. Yes. And he was doing it as a way of identifying people in the room.
You're an N, you're an N. It was a very odd, weird...
Almost to me looked like drunk or manic or something.
Don't know.
But it was Gloria Allred who then called in representing the black people in the room
who needed to be compensated.
And so then the argument began.
It's so weird.
Because these people call in and they think I'm gonna go,
oh my God, those people need,
are they scared to go to comedy clubs?
Yes, they are.
Are they scared to leave the house again?
Yes, they are.
That's where the damages come in.
And I'm like, someone needs to write him a check, except for I don't think that way at all.
So then when she starts telling me what her plan is, I then start pushing back against
her plan and then she gets flustered and agitated. Also, you can tell the people in life who haven't been told no or I disagree or you're dumb
in a long time by how they react. They always react sort of like – it's like the king,
you know, the king going, you know, bow in front of me and you go, out of the way,
Your Highness, I've got to get to the vending machine and they go, but their first impulses are a little incredulous.
They're like, what's going on?
Why aren't you bowing?
It's not people who sort of eat shit on a daily basis,
guys on a construction site, guys like that.
You know, when you go, they go, do that,
and you go, fuck you, and they go, fuck you.
They don't go like, what's happening here?
Because their whole life is having people tell them no
or get the fuck out of the way or whatever.
And then they fight back in their own way.
But the people never hear it.
They have a weird reaction of like, what's going on?
Because here's the way she works.
She gets on a podium, surrounds herself with her victims,
and then pontificates for 18 minutes and then
the press laps it up and then she goes home. There's no me version.
No, no, no crystal brain involved.
Right. That's what happened to Gavin Newsom. He was like, what's going on?
Yeah. Oh, come on, Adam.
They don't have it. But what they don't have is round two. They don't have arguments. So she was telling me that people need to get paid.
I said, well, let's forget about black people.
Let's just say there are fat people in the audience.
And he was making fun of fat people.
Do they need to get paid?
And then they always do this one.
Well, that's not what happened.
I do love when I pose someone a hypothetical question
and they explain that's not what happened.
Yeah, well I know.
You're not, yeah.
What if there were aliens in the crowd
and you make fun of aliens?
So that, well, you didn't make fun of aliens.
That's their answer, which is sort of intellectually
bankrupt or something, you know what I mean?
Like, come on, bitch, you can't answer fucking hypotheticals.
So she kept not wanting to answer the hypotheticals,
but then the trouble
was is I said, well, listen, she said, don't you think he needs to be punished by cutting
– I said, why is a rich guy cutting a check punishment? You know what I mean?
Donald Trump cut a check to Stormy Daniels. That wasn't punishment.
This is punishment.
Do you see what I'm saying?
And your reputation being destroyed and you being unemployable, that's the punishment
part.
You got tons of Seinfeld F.U. money, best day in your life if you just have to cut a
check.
I don't think any different than if your son was driving drunk and killed somebody and
so and somebody came to your room, you know your office and went look this guy could do
real time or you could write a check.
You'd go oh okay good let's write a check.
I mean that's it's not punishment that's what rich people do to get out of trouble.
Do you know what I mean?
Punishment is what they do to get out of trouble. Do you know what I mean? Punishment is- To avoid punishment.
It's what they do to avoid punishment.
Yes, punishment is your name and your reputation
being destroyed in this town.
So I then explained he's being punished
because he's not gonna be able to ever work again.
And then she floated the theory,
maybe this is gonna help.
Ha ha ha!
Maybe this is making it worse. And I explained to her it's definitely not gonna help.
And she said, I don't know that.
Which kind of makes you wonder, are they good attorneys?
You know what I mean?
Because is that a good argument?
Michael Richards, this is the very beginning.
I'm as a lay person saying he is fucked.
He's not gonna be able to work in this town ever again.
He's gonna be a pariah. He's not gonna to be able to work in this town ever again. He's going to be a pariah. He's not going to be welcome at cocktail parties or late
night show host. And he's, he's going to be destroyed. That's his punishment. And you
go, you don't know that this may be better for his career.
Oh yeah. Is that where the crystal brain stepped in?
She has, she told me, you don't know that because I don't have a crystal ball. And then
I said, I have a crystal brain.
How'd she react to that? They never know. They don't hear it.
They're not good at it. They're not really, I don't even...
They're not tuned up. Yeah.
I think they kind of have 10 cent heads. You know what I mean? Like I think she or Gavin Newsome or whoever's arguing without making a normal argument
There's something wrong in the synapse department or or they that's just how they do business and they're good at that
And we have a we have a clip. Okay of it by the way
I think and we found it about if I'm morbidly obese and you call me a fat ass again you have
morbid morbid obesity is and you call me a fat ass. Okay, again, you have, first of all, morbid obesity
is a physical condition and I would hope
that no one would make fun of anyone on account of that.
Well, they did in my hypothetical question,
so please address it.
Okay, what you did, but I'm just telling you,
I wanna focus on racial issues.
Oh, because you know this would hurt your argument.
That's why you don't wanna address it.
No, because I think- Of course,
if you had a logical answer for my hypothetical question, you would give it
at this point, but you don't, so you won't.
All right, stop it there for a second.
Fuck all of you for not asking questions.
Everyone's like, oh, he pushed back a little.
No, see, I was on her.
Yes, yeah.
On her making her look like an idiot.
Which is, I'm glad we're talking about this because it dovetails into the Fauci stuff,
which I thought was telling in the same way.
Yes. Yes, you have to ask follow-up questions. Oh, we've been to the border. Oh, you've been
to the border? We've been to the border. I haven't been to the border. All right. Hey,
here Biden celebrating his 81st coming up. What are you going to get him? Yeah. No, no.
Don't let him off the hook. All right, rewind it 20 seconds.
Let's just hear this.
Questions, so please address it.
Okay, what you're saying is that I'm just telling you,
I wanna focus on racial issues.
Oh, because you know this would hurt your argument.
That's why you don't wanna address it.
No, it's because I think-
Of course, if you had a logical answer
for my hypothetical question,
you would give it at this point,
but you don't, so you won't.
Well, you know what, if you would like some
free legal advice, you know, feel free-
You can't answer a hypothetical question? Feel free legal advice, you know feel free.
You can't answer a hypothetical question?
You're not capable of answering a basic hypothetical question.
Well you know what, I don't need to be answering that on your show.
Of course because you have no answer. Because you have an answer that would hurt your argument.
You obviously don't think that issue is important enough.
Oh, there you go.
That's right.
Imply I'm a racist.
That's a good way to get out
of not answering a very basic question.
Very smart card you played, Gloria, already.
Every time somebody has a question,
every time someone has used logic to corner you,
you play the race card and get them on the run.
Diabolical.
It's not gonna work.
Either answer the question or I'm gonna get off the phone.
Thank you very much, goodbye.
All right, coward.
Coward.
Goodbye.
That was fantastic.
Wow.
She won't answer it.
I know that wasn't even the part I was thinking of.
I forgot about that part.
She wouldn't answer the fucking question.
Yeah.
All right.
Well, I don't think race is a big issue.
Well, but little did we know how much that traction would be created around using that
kind of argument.
It's like 15 years.
Next 15 years.
Wait, you guys all did this to us.
I didn't do this to us.
I argued the entire time.
The entire time I argued with these people.
Not everyone else.
Like, ooh, Woody did this horrible.
He should write a check. How are your clients doing?
Are they okay? Are they resting?
People don't get who these people are
She's a scam artist who griffs money off of people with threats of court proceedings that never happened
Jesus fucking Christ. What did she sound like their legal system? She sound like an idiot there or not?
She sounded like so many attorneys.
I mean, it sounded like this, particularly at that time,
it's the way the legal system worked,
which was by threats and innuendo and just building a case.
And by the way, what I wanted to kind of talk about,
I find kind of interesting, is what people forget
is at that period of time
There was honest conversation because I remember I did several talk shows on this on what a white person's relationship
Should be with that word They should ever come out of a white person's mouth and for a while there was oh
Use it all you want because we need to take the power out of it
and I have a feeling he got infected by that if you remember remember, there was a, there was a, a serious XM talk show host that sounded like
a black guy, but he was a white guy and he said it all the time. And I got a big conversation
about it because I, after talking to a lot of people about it was finally got a conclusion
that you just don't say it. And he argued with every kid in Philadelphia says it doesn't
have any meaning anymore. And there was this weird time when people were deciding what to do with it.
Everyone agreed it was not good, but whether it should be just used out of existence or never
spoken was kind of the conversation people were having at the time.
All right. So, but you got Michael Richards' update.
Just that he's back in, I just saw him, he doesn't expect forgiveness He says he was immediately sorry for the moment. He said it on stage
But the point is people are talking to him again and so it brings the whole conversation. All right
So who turned out to be right about Michael? Oh, oh, yeah. Sorry
I mean you got to find you got to find the spot
We're talking about even though that was good the crystal brain part
You got to find the part where she says it may help his career. Oh, yeah
Listen it can kind of just say this
Everyone whether you believe what you're saying or you're lying
Gloria all reds case lies for living. These people don't need to be taken seriously.
They choose that.
That's the path they choose.
It's either stupid or liar.
And when they choose stupid or liar,
then they're not serious people
and they don't need to be taken seriously.
That's the whole thing.
Gloria Allred doesn't need to be taken seriously
because either she's lying that that incident
is gonna help Michael Richards' career,
or she's so fucking stupid that she thinks
it may help his career.
Either way, disqualified.
Stupid or liar.
And I would argue, after this whole piece you've read,
but I would argue that we've gotten into a world, I gotta say this,
where people convince themselves of things where they don't, they're not lying. They
convince themselves of stupid shit.
Yeah, she knows she's lying, but yeah, I know what you're saying. To be fair to me, the
incident was the middle of November, and so the phone call may have been December
or something like 06, and so it was at the very end
as I thought it was later.
We'll call that 07.
We'll call it 07.
Let's do it.
All right.

Shopify.com slash Adam and Drew.
So let's take what I just said about people convincing themselves and let's take that
now over to Fauci, okay?
Yeah.
All right.
So the one thing he said that people are pointing at that was troubling to everybody is when
Jim Jordan is doing a good job of talking to him and he says, you know, why did you
not entertain the the the lab leak hypothesis, something of that order?
And he goes, I kept an open mind the whole time.
And Jim Jordan goes, I think the American people would be surprised to hear you say that. And I thought, oh, this is interesting.
Because I was involved with exchange of information
and documentation around the hearings, not the hearings,
the meetings that Fauci was having,
who he was talking to, and what they were presenting to him.
And some of the people went out on podcasts and talk about the experience of
presenting the, uh,
zoonotic source of the virus and why they thought so and how,
how Fauci related to it.
And the reality is he, he did keep an open mind.
He didn't tell these people how to necessarily conclude where this thing came
from, but he kind of, you know, well, if you know that zoonotic, why don't we put a letter
in nature with it?
You know, he did kind of urge things in a certain direction.
All right.
I, I, okay.
But the part he missed that is emblazoned in my head is where again, Jim Jordan is talking
to him. This is now four years
ago, and goes, why don't you entertain the lab hypothesis?
He goes, well, I just thought it was just something to entertain people as another shiny
object that would go away.
He said those words.
And he doesn't, that part he takes out and he remembers being open-minded when data was
being presented to him, but doesn't have any
insight into how he appeared when he was adulterated in front of the people. Like the stuff you were
reacting to, he magically forgets. Well, we can go ahead and apply stupid or liar again. Okay, you,
I think you're a world-famous virologist. Well, what I'm saying is, I'm from North Hollywood and got put on academic probation
at LA Valley College.
Why do I have this information that came from a lab
and you don't?
Why don't you know this, given your expertise?
There's another great clip from that
where he's basically getting interviewed, vouching.
He's just basically going, look, you don't get to go to school, you don't get to go to
work, we fired you from your job.
Yeah, that's what I'm explaining, Drew.
No, no, they played it during the...
What do you think I'm referring to?
I thought you were just pulling that piece out of your memory.
There's another thing that came from the hearings where you don't have to jump in.
He said, when I say he said, it's from the hearings,
he said this stuff and then he basically said,
well force everyone to get facts and then they came back
and he was like, that was out of context.
I didn't say that.
What was his answer to that?
Because I didn't even know what that was.
I actually thought.
It's clearly you just said, said it be as if I said
You know everyone should have to turn left through left turn red arrows when the signals green I do it all time
That's all I do and then they came back to me once so you advocate people die. That's not what I meant
So here's the deal. What was that? It was so
weird
That I actually still believe that somebody dropped in that tape for the purposes of social
media, that they didn't actually play it in the hearings.
Uh-huh.
So that's the only way I could make sense of it.
No, they played it.
They put it up on the –
Did they?
See, I –
Well, now we're getting into crazy Pills town.
Well, because I was like, otherwise it's like, it just, I thought somebody dropped it in
to show the evidence. So when he denies it, it becomes ridiculous.
Right? I don't know. That's the crazy town we live in.
You're going nuts, Drew. I am.
The Senator guy goes, we got, do we have the audio or something? He made, he threw to it.
Right. It wasn't like he was just talking facing forward and the thing popped up
Okay, he threw to it now
Now I have to look at it. I believe you I know I miss gotta find it. No. No, I believe you also hold on. Go ahead
It's funny. He that and I don't know if you caught this part
because
Fauci cited a study by Peter Hotez
that many more people could have died if they hadn't.
I'm like, the hysteric from CNN?
You're citing his, of course you're citing his study, right?
So it's funny that he took a hustler and a fear monger
and cited him saying more people would
have died if we hadn't done what you said to do or whatever it was. It just also makes me realize everybody with their fucking studies.
This is again hitting exactly what I'm talking about, you, it's kind of, I don't know, it's a psychology that
humans have, which is they want to be right. And they only look a certain way and really
don't see what else is going on. It's a weird denial. It's, it's anasognosia in a weird
way.
Well, for the person who's in a position that he's in.
It's convenient.
No, but it's also an insane trait to have. You should constantly be searching for the truth.
Maybe he can do that when he's not in front of people or something. I, look, I,
I'm right now,
I am totally preoccupied with trying to figure out,
because the part that everybody leaves out in all these conversations is the
hysteria we were in. So I, I want to, let me,
let me first get some business done here. Let's hear from our friends at Aura.
Seems like every week there's some sort of major leak of customer information

So I was on a Twitter spaces yesterday and this guy was there who's kind of a whistleblower
who was in EcoHealth Alliance and is a big supporter of EcoHealth Alliance actually,
but had some concerns of how they were doing things and, and, uh, he raised a couple of
issues.
One was that the real questions about were the rules followed in terms of research yes or no as it pertained
to gain a function or did they go around the laws such as they are were never asked by
the Congress.
And it makes me think and he raised the issue that it's probably because everybody's got
contributors from all these different organizations that they just can't ask the right questions
so they don't get the real questions answered.
Right.
The other, or even asked.
The other thing he pointed out
was that he was part of a pandemic preparedness.
He was a member of the pandemic preparedness team.
And he said they had endless hours they met,
they modeled everything.
And their job when the pandemic hit
was going to be to advise the CDC for them to go and give some advice to the
states and support the states in decision making.
They make not to mandate things from on high.
He said they completely tossed out the pandemic preparedness plan completely.
They like tore it up and went into the six foot distancing and all these crazy
things, and that in my opinion was because of hysteria, total fucking hysteria. plan completely. They like tore it up and went into the six foot distancing and all these crazy
things. And that in my opinion was because of hysteria. There's total fucking hysterics
on probably as much as any of the level of the middle level bureaucrats, the people who are not
elected who think they know more than the elected officials and decided that's how we're going to do
it. And you saw it at the New York Times, apparently at the CDC, they lost control, the upper management lost control. I've heard, I've interviewed people who were there and said that's how we're going to do it. And you saw it at the New York times, apparently at the CDC, they lost control. The upper management lost control.
I've heard,
I've interviewed people who were there and said that's exactly what happened.
And so we had people hysterical making decisions and how the fuck did that
happened and what is goddamn wrong with us and what do we do to correct it?
Because this was mind blowing.
And I harken back to when the AIDS epidemic happened,
when the CDC and Fauci functioned
the way they were supposed to.
They were very helpful.
And I thought they would be very helpful this time, too.
Remember I kept saying, just listen to CDC.
Remember I was a big defender.
And then they went sideways.
And I'm still trying to figure out exactly what happened
and exactly what we do about it.
All right, we got crystal brain and Emmy
You can find that clip of Fauci
Can you actually remind us what you were looking for? He was being I think I liked tweeted it
But he was being interviewed
He was being questioned by senator and they played a tape of him on a podcast
or an interview show just basically explaining
that he was gonna force, we can force people
to get vaccinated by ruining their lives.
And then came back to him and said,
that's out of context, or I didn't say that,
or something, I don't know what he said.
He just sort of dismissed it, I thought,
or just like, that's why I thought
it was actually something dropped in.
Well, I mean, we can look at it.
By the way, do you see that ER doctor
going a little diatrine?
The congressman who was an emergency room doctor
who just essentially gave a sermon
and it was fantastic.
Oh, he's as the only member of Congress
who was an ER doctor or whatever.
Yeah, I will play Crystal Brain
just so you can go back to, remember, 2006,
Michael Richards hasn't worked a day since 2006.
Twenty years.
Almost. I thought this was going to affect his career negatively.
Oh yeah.
Gloria Allred thought otherwise.
Why is giving away money the ultimate punishment?
Isn't your name being tarnished the ultimate punishment?
Let me address your issue.
Yes.
That if he's talked about that punishment enough for some people that enhances their
career of those celebrities, the name recognition alone now is a lot bigger and broader and
wider than ever before and maybe it will actually result as it did for Hugh Grant and a lot more career opportunities. Well Hugh
Grant had an established film career that's a poor example of somebody whose
career was moved along by being with the transvestite. I'm saying that to people who have come back strong from what appears to be a
scandalous situation I'm sure you would agree with that. Well yeah it's it's
possible but I think if you asked Michael Richards whether he'd prefer or Michael Richards
representation as publicist or his agents whether they'd prefer this
incident happen or not they would of course say no. Well that's not the
question of whether they would prefer it happen. The question is whether it happens in his career.
It is the question. You're saying this may help his career.
So let's go to the experts. Let's talk to his publicist, let's talk to his agent over William Morris and go you think this will help his career. So let's go to the experts. Let's talk to his publicist,
let's talk to his agent over at William Morris and go,
you think this will help his career?
Would you like this to have happened or not?
And if it's a resounding no,
then the experts don't think it's gonna help his career.
Hysterical.
How fucking dumb does she sound?
She doesn't sound dumb.
Or she's lying.
She sounds evasive.
And that is a, now people, obfuscation, evasiveness
is valued in our culture.
That's true, it's its own skill.
All right, we'll go back 10 seconds
and then we'll hear her out.
Michael Richards representation as publicist
or as agents, whether they prefer this incident happen
or not, they would of course say no.
Well, that's not the question of whether they
would prefer it happen.
The question is, will it enhance his career?
No.
We don't know the answer to that yet.
Yes, we do.
The answer is no.
Because you've got a crystal ball that I don't have.
No, I have a crystal brain that thinks logically.
Well, you really don't know about these things.
So the point is, we'll leave it for Judge.
I do know this hasn't helped him,
just like OJ's case wasn't helped by what he did.
All right, all right, she's got nothing.
Why does she stop and give you a slow clap,
right when you say crystal brain?
It's like, hold on, of course not.
They don't even know, they don't even acknowledge that they don't even know they don't even acknowledge
Don't even hear it. She doesn't know what the fuck she's talking about
But she does this is gonna hurt because they my argument is
See her argument is
Michael Richards needs to cut a check to my clients so he can pay for his sins
Yes, my argument is he's paid for his sins
in the ultimate price, he's being destroyed.
Yes.
Then she has to say, how do you know that?
My son, who's a lawyer, pointed out to me early
in his legal training is that courts,
essentially lawyers do things by two ways,
extracting money or extracting time.
Mm-hmm. Sit, you go to prison, or you pay, or both. Lawyers do things by two ways, extracting money or extracting time.
Sit, you go to prison or you pay or both. And do you find it sad,
listen, I'm not here to blow smoke up my own ass,
but do you feel it, is it kind of sad
that I can out argue world class or world renowned lawyers
with zero education and experience in the law field?
It should make one pause.
I would be pissed if I were her.
She just got fucking schooled by an idiot
who walked off a construction site four years earlier.
You know what I'm saying?
This is not to defend her.
It's a symptom of how far we are from the truth.
You know?
You're just arguing the truth pragmatically.
And that begs no fucking matter now.
Well, and kids listening at home,
remember, you can always win an argument if you're right.
What I just did was be correct.
I didn't really win an argument.
I just happened to be,
I'm arguing the correct side of the argument. I just happened to be, I'm arguing
the correct side of the argument.
You're arguing from the truth.
And that is anathema right now. Who do you think you are, a white man with the truth?
You and Ben Franklin? You think you know the truth?
Yeah.
So there you go.
So I do feel like, I feel like it's been long enough, it's been 18 years, I'm gonna declare
victory on my premise that this is gonna hurt Michael Richards' career.
I think you win.
You think I win this one?
Yeah, I think that was the truth.
Should we get hold of Gloria and tell her we're checking in, year 18?
It'd be hysterical to bring her in and play that tape.
But she would have... But again, she'd be evasive, she'd obfuscate, she'd have her...
Her argument.
You know what the Greeks used to call, or the Romans, no, the Greeks used to call this
sophistry.
They feared sophistry more than anything, because you could make anything sort of arguable,
okay, you know, you could defend it.
We've talked about this before.
Yeah, a long time ago.
But every time I think a soffit is a soffit, it's a mechanical
construction thing, but sophistry is something different.
But I bet there's some connective tissue.
Because we usually find out when you look something up that there's some connection
between the two words.
What is a sophist?
What does it mean?
Soffit.
Soffit, rather.
I think we even looked this up once.
It feels like we did this.
I'm telling you, we did look it up.
All right, we'll find that Fauci tape for the next show.
I think Emmy has it somewhere.
Or it's out there.
I saw it the other day.
All right, well, let's see.
