Starting point is 00:01:31 Recorded live at Carola One Studios with Adam Carola and board certified physician and addiction medicine specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky. You're listening to the Adam and Dr. Drew show. Yeah, I got to get on it. Dr. Drew's Ford certified, Ford certified, Ford Fairlane rock and roll detective. Fordified Fairlane. Fordified Fairlane. You know, I'm still obsessing about what the UN is wanting to do with this new reform. I want to read you a couple of the things.
Starting point is 00:02:11 Yeah, let me just jump in real quick and say this to many of my friends on the left. You know, these big outfits, for lack of a better term, you know, whether it's the United Nations or whether it's the school board or the Department of Education. What's with the blind allegiance? You know what I mean? You don't think these, could you entertain the notion that maybe these groups are flawed? That they could be flawed?
Starting point is 00:02:50 Maybe United Nations has a lot of terrorist rogue nations in there and that there's some under bad faith dealing going on and how much good have they brought the world? Or let's just say Department of Education, you know, teachers unions, this giant bloated bureaucracy that was established in 1980 and test scores have been falling ever since. Can you stop for a beat and go, maybe the guy, in this case Adam Carolla saying, I would like to get rid of this, may I'm not a heretic and a lunatic? Maybe the guy, in this case, Adam Carolla, saying,
Starting point is 00:03:25 I would like to get rid of this. May I'm not a heretic and a lunatic? You know what I mean? Yeah, at least we got to look at it. Can you stop and just look at the FBI or the CIA or United Nations or Department of Education and think for a second, or whatever, the Department of Agriculture and Health
Starting point is 00:03:44 just feeding your kids all this fucking poison with their corn syrup pyramid like can anyone just stop and go you know maybe there's another way or maybe at least the people they're talking about getting rid of it aren't insane and you know Putin's puppets. Exactly. That's the, see, that's the issue that is really so disturbing about our present moment is to have conversation needs to be dealt with. You that want to speak and talk about these things, you are a problem. You're the purveyor of misinformation
Starting point is 00:04:20 and we need some, AOC was on the record today on social media talking about how we gotta deal with this. This has got to be, we got to figure it out. Do you want her, do you want her deciding what scientific discourse should be allowed in public? You really want that? Here's a, here's a funny one that just popped in my head in terms of all their bullshit. I'll look at, I mean, Kyle through the glass. Remember three years ago, Putin's price hikes? Remember it was Putin? Remember the reason the price of a hamburger doubled was
Starting point is 00:04:53 because Putin did it? Remember they were pushing? Remember they were saying, oh, this is Putin's price hikes. And oh, by the way, we're gonna end this war in Ukraine because we're just going to cut off all these oligarchs. Remember those two plans, Kyle? Remember those two things?
Starting point is 00:05:12 What happened with those things? Are we still living in Putin's price? How come Kamala Harris in the debate doesn't explain we got to get rid of Putin's price hikes. Well, what happened to by the way? Or we're going to end this war by cutting the oligarchs off from their yachts. Remember that? Remember the news? Remember the news with this? Oh, here's what's going on. Yeah. So what they did in Russia was because they're being squeezed, they opened up old, you know, broken down old factories and developed an industrial base.
Starting point is 00:05:44 So the Russian economy became diversified during our interventions. And they're doing a lot better and we pushed them into the arms of China. Okay, so here we go. All right, but you were gonna say in your UN list. Well, they're going to eradicate poverty by 2030. So we've got, it's so ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:06:06 In six years, poverty will be over. Less than six years, okay. No hunger or food insecurity, okay. Oh, goal, no financial gap between developed and undeveloped countries. All right, all right. Let's see. Accountable and inclusive institutions to freedom and rights.
Starting point is 00:06:29 Let's see, I wanna go further down. Some of the stuff they said was just so crazy to me. Oh, they get deep into the, I don't know how they're gonna do this and to get rid of poverty, but deep into the climate crisis. Oh yeah. That'll save those developing nations.
Starting point is 00:06:47 So think about this. Here's action 52. We're gonna accelerate the reform of the international financial architecture so it can meet the urgent challenge of climate change while they are eliminating poverty. Yeah, not gonna have, can't do both. Also, I know it's urgent, this whole climate change thing. Yeah, but
Starting point is 00:07:10 Can anyone just go back and look at tapes of everyone saying it was urgent for the last 60 years There's a tape of what's-his-name in 2009 saying by 2015. We're gonna have an Arctic summer Yeah, you see that Did you see that? Did you see that? You see that? Kerry, yeah. Kerry was saying that. All right, here's all I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:07:31 John Kerry is entitled to his opinion, right? And Sanjay Gupta is entitled to his opinion that's been spoon-fed to him by CNN and their pharmaceutical sponsors. That's radical all of a sudden, Adam. This is a radical show. This is a show this week. That's fine. They can have their opinions, but then we should never listen to them about anything anymore. That's all I'm saying. I'm not saying these guys need to shut up.
Starting point is 00:08:03 I'm saying we need to not listen to what John Kerry says. Well, but here, Adam, we have so much brainwashing and so much motivated reasoning. Here's what people say when you show them the John Kerry tape. You go, well, they got a, it's a, it's a, there's moving, many moving parts. It's a monumental project to predict the timing of this thing. They're just off by a few years. That's all. So it doesn't mean it's not thing. They're just off by a few years.
Starting point is 00:08:26 That's all. So it doesn't mean it's not going to happen. They're off by a few years. Do you know what it reminds me of? It reminds me of the flat earthers going. They got this very elaborate gyroscopic instrument to be able to prove that the earth was flat. And when it didn't prove it, they went, well, the instrument must be broken. We're going to figure out what's wrong with the instrument.
Starting point is 00:08:45 That these flat earthers are excellent. Yeah, but they're, but they're the, they're the extreme of what everybody has become. Everyone but me. All right, we got 14 seconds of Biden explaining the Putin's price hikes. They lied about so much. They're wrong about every, look, I don't know if he's lying or he's just, I'm assuming he's just lying, but he's just wrong.
Starting point is 00:09:09 Or maybe they got used to just being hyperbolic and excessive and exaggerating and lying and they didn't have people just complain back whenever they wanted like we can now. All right, let's watch. I understand inflation is a real challenge to American families. Today's inflation report confirm what America's already know. Putin's price hike is hitting America hard. All right. That's from when? 2022. Is he been right about anything?
Starting point is 00:09:46 I just, I don't get it. I don't get why people go along with this. I don't get why people don't understand this bullshit when it's happening. Okay. What do we do? I mean, what do we do? Is it crystal brain?
Starting point is 00:10:02 You look at your crystal brain. You go to, you move to Florida and you just surround yourself with like-minded people and hopefully they have guns. And that's about it. Jesus, I don't like that. Well, I didn't know this high a percentage of Americans would go along with their retarded bullshit.
Starting point is 00:10:27 But after COVID, which was a dry run for stooges going along with bullshit, tyrannical bullshit, that was a dry run. How many stooges will go along with tyrannical bullshit? Answer, a lot more than I'd anticipated. The majority of sheep and stooges went along with their tyrannical bullshit. Now that was just a dry run. But whatever the next thing is, it's not going to be an airborne virus. It'll be something else.
Starting point is 00:11:04 Climate emergency or whatever the fuck they do, these stooges will go along with it, which now frightens me because I didn't think there were so many stooges that would go along with it. But now I see that they have. So I am now concerned not being a stooge and not wanting to get caught up with the stooges I am now concerned not being a stooge and not wanting to get caught up with the stooges who get sucked into all of this stuff
Starting point is 00:11:31 that there's gonna have to be an alternative plan. And that's the way I guess there's a fair bit of people thinking, you know what I mean? And also all this like, hey, we're gonna do a mandatory gun buyback stuff. I never cared about any of that stuff, but I do kind of look at it now and go, what's with the obsession with collecting everyone's firearms?
Starting point is 00:11:53 And I mean, it seems, it seems very, very obsessed with that. Hmm. Yes. By the way, did you, did you have any thoughts about when Kamala Harris speaking of firearms, she, she said, if somebody, I have a gun and if somebody comes in my house, they're getting shot. And, and I have been schooled carefully that you cannot shoot somebody that's in your home or you will be,
Starting point is 00:12:18 you will go to prison or a excessive force or attempted murder. I do not think for one minute that Kamala Harris owns a gun. Right. Okay, that's number one. That to me didn't bother me. I don't care about that. But that she was advocating a behavior that breaks laws that she put in place. She was part of supporting.
Starting point is 00:12:44 She wasn't advocating that behavior She was trying to come across a is like a little urban You know like a little you know a pop a cap in your ass kind of kind of things and a little bit of that She's you know attempting to be black as much as she can that she's attempting to be black as much as she can, which is weird, because I thought we hated black people in this country. I don't know why you would want to be black and get votes. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:13:12 When we don't like black people. We seem to like Indian people more than black people. So why, you're half Indian and half black, right? This country is fine with Indians, but hates blacks. So why are you running on black if this country hates blacks but we're cool with Eastern Indian? Why is that the half you're highlighting? What what... Drew, let's let's be honest. Okay. If you were half Roman Catholic and half Jewish, and whatever country you were in,
Starting point is 00:13:51 they had a problem with Jews? Would you be running on I'm Jewish? Or would you switch over to Roman Catholic? I'd emphasize the alternative. Because the country has a problem with Jews, right? So if the country has a problem with blacks, and not with Eastern Indian, why are you running on black? I think you're spending too much time hiking these days.
Starting point is 00:14:17 You're getting in your own head and having these thoughts. These thoughts are plaguing you. Well, the thoughts are they don't think we have a problem with racism or they wouldn't do it. They just keep saying it. Well, I guess it's possible that problem with racism and play on the guilt as a way of motivating people to embrace a black candidate. But if the if if the forget about this country, it could be Ireland, if that country
Starting point is 00:14:48 has a problem with a group, why are you running as a member of that group if you're trying to get a populist to vote for you? And the answer is you don't think it's a problem. Just like why is Gavin Newsom hanging out at the French laundry during COVID? He doesn't think it's a problem. He says it's a problem. He says it's a problem. He doesn't think it's a problem. Kamala Harris says racism's a problem. She doesn't think it's a problem or she wouldn't be running as black. You understand? She doesn't own a gun and all she's trying to do is tack back toward the center. So basically it's this. She is far left and I'm not saying it is a pejorative She's that's her politics. She wants whatever she wants. It's not even Let's not even call it good or bad drew. Okay. Mm-hmm
Starting point is 00:15:59 Let's just say her policies of the past were leftist policies, okay? Not good or bad, or maybe many, maybe many are good, but those were her policies. And Tim Wall's policies were leftist policies as well, no value judgment on good or bad. But they have figured out that us as a society don't like those angles. Not enough to get her voted in. Not enough. We don't like it enough. Not enough people like it.
Starting point is 00:16:41 Right. And enough people don't like it. Right. And enough people don't like it. Right. So now what are they to do? Well, what are they to do is abandon that stuff and move toward the middle. Now, whether they're actually moving there or not, I don't know, but they've abandoned all the anti-fracking, mandatory gun buybacks, transgender surgery for illegals or prisoners, or prisoners should be able to vote or whatever. I mean, it's pretty crazy stuff. I mean, there's footage of her going,
Starting point is 00:17:19 people are going, do you think the Boston bombers, the guys who blew up the Boston Marathon, do you think they should be able to vote from prison? And she's like, yeah, we need to take a look at that. It's just pretty radical shit. Okay, so let's leave abortion and the border and everything out of this this right? Okay, all right Do What percentage of Americans would like the Boston Marathon bombers to be able to cast a vote
Starting point is 00:17:57 From their prison cell for the next election. What what percentage of Americans would like that? election what what percentage of Americans would like that 10% okay 10% well that's not enough to win an election right okay but that's how she thinks so now she's got to move toward the middle and pretend like none of this ever happened even though you know she was in her mid-50s when she made all these proclamations. Right. But now, she's all grown up. Right. She's matured.
Starting point is 00:18:32 Yeah. Even though she's going through menopause. But she's matured and she's changed her mind. So, we move toward the center. So, what do we do? Well, we gotta get Tim Walls working on his pickup truck. Get him to pop the hood on the pickup truck and get under there. Do what somebody who lived in the middle would do. They would change the air filter on their international harvester, their scout. Okay, that's what they would do. And what else would appeal to middle America? Hey man, I got a gun. You coming in my house, expect to be shot. That's what middle America wants to hear.
Starting point is 00:19:09 So would she do it? No. Does she own a gun? No. But she wants us to think she's normal and in the middle. 2019 poll, 70% of Americans disapprove of allowing prisoners to vote. But this was a specific prisoner population. Right, because we're thinking about their thing about poor brothers who got caught with some weed.
Starting point is 00:19:35 Yeah, but she's talking up specifically the guys who blew up the Boston area. Okay, so she doesn't have a gun and she wouldn't shoot anyone and she doesn't care. And she's never said that in her life. But if I had any faith that she was going to stay in the middle, it would be a whole different deal. I would have a whole different feeling about it. But her actions have been so profoundly on the other end
Starting point is 00:20:04 without any apology. I mean, you would think maybe a little apology for someone gets something wrong or some admission of where you don't have learned and here's what I'm thinking now. That's how people change. They look at what they did before and they talk about why they've changed, why they have a different point of view. I don't hear any of that. So of course, the big fear is that she's gonna keep doing these things well here's and by the way
Starting point is 00:20:26 She's running on character kind of character Does it take to lie to the American public so you can get in at any cost? Would it you know tell them anything so you can go do what you want to do. That's Wolf that's awful. Well, all right character. Here's what you need to worry about. She is, okay, so Joe Biden ran on the same thing. We're moving toward the middle. Okay, but what we didn't understand is that he's just an empty vessel
Starting point is 00:21:01 and they're gonna do whatever they're gonna do. I mean, Jill Biden's having cabinet meetings right now. We don't have a president. We don't have a vice president. We don't. Whoever's running the government is whoever was running Joe Biden three years ago. So the problem is not Kamala Harris tacking toward the middle or not tacking toward the middle or moving back.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Kamala Harris is an empty vessel who has no ideas. There's a cabal of people that will tell her what to do. The same group that told Joe Biden what to do, the same group that was with the Obama. So they're just running the country. So they need an empty vessel. They can't have people up there with strong opinions and strong ideas that they can control because they can't control those people. So don't worry about Kamala Harris. Worry about whoever's telling her what to
Starting point is 00:21:56 do because that's who's running Joe Biden and that's who's running the country. Joe Biden doesn't care about Dylan Mulvaney or trans rights or he doesn't know about anybody doesn't care about it. He's so diminished he wouldn't know. It's those people who aren't leaving. It's true. Listen, I had a guy named Paul Alexander who was a scientist at the NIH and he told me, he's actually the guy that informed me about the six feet distancing. It was there when that decision was made and it was just pulled out of thin air. He actually confronted, I think it was Wakefield saying, Dr. Wakefield, why are you doing this? He goes, we got to do something.
Starting point is 00:22:33 The scariest words in medicine, we have to do something. It's how you harm people. In any event, he went on to say he's a Trinidadian gentleman with a heavy sort of, he sounds like Bob Marley or something. And he's a brilliant dude, trained at some of the premier institutions in epidemiology. And he was invited by the State Department bureaucrats to some of their parties.
Starting point is 00:22:58 And because he's black and because he sounds the way he does, they assumed that he was part of the team. And he said they would call him in and they go, they'd go, these, these people that are elected, they don't, they don't matter. They're just here for four years. We run the government. And I thought that is so disgusting. That is so disgusting. Well, what was Joe Biden doing? Look here, here's the whole point. Here's what you should worry about. Don't worry about what Kamala Harris is,
Starting point is 00:23:29 what she's passionate about. By the way, these speeches from four years ago, she was like, I'm very passionate about this. Well, how come you change your mind on something you were so passionate about? But anyway, she's not passionate about it. She's an empty vessel. So the deep state, if that's what you want to call it,
Starting point is 00:23:47 needs an empty vessel to run. And that's going to be Kamala Harris in this case. They just got done with Joe Biden. I don't know what they're doing now. Literally, Jill Biden is running things. Who's, the real question is, who is running things right now? I mean, it's not Biden
Starting point is 00:24:05 and Kamala Harris is on the road. So what's going on? That group is running people. It's not running the country, that group of people is running the country. It's not being paranoid because there are people I know who probably like it that way. Well, that's interesting. I mean, listen, I wish I had a group of California insiders that could just go, look, Gavin Newsom's just an empty vessel. Corolla, what's your agenda? I was like, OK, I want to get rid of those left turn arrows.
Starting point is 00:24:39 I got a lot of ideas. I got a lot of ideas. I want to get into these things. They go, all right, we'll just funnel those through Gavin Newsom. He's an empty vessel. We'll just funnel it through him. I go, okay, I want to get rid of all those RVs on PCH. Okay, what else you want to do, Corolla?
Starting point is 00:24:54 I'll go, this is good. I want school choice. I want to bust up the teachers unions. I go, okay, I'll just tell Gavin to do that. I'd be pretty happy with that. So the people who are down with you know, the environmental movement Are happy to have an empty vessel up there to push their agenda through. Yeah All right. Let me I think we got another phone message or we have a
Starting point is 00:25:27 Pre-recorded phone message here we can play hello Adam and dr. Drew I just wanted to give you a comment I just finished listening to last week's episodes of your show wonderful always I wanted to give you an insight into a situation I was pulled over a while back on my motorcycle I was speeding not trying to speed but I was trying to catch up to somebody's mind and the cop pulled me over. I complied to all his requests. I wasn't doing anything wrong. But let me tell you, the officer in question was visibly nervous and he was physically shaking his hands were
Starting point is 00:26:06 shaking while this interaction was going on and I wasn't doing anything to give him any reason to be concerned so most of the cops now that I've experienced with in this situation they're scared and it's like why are you taking a job when you're visibly scared? Anyways, just wanted to give you a little bit of insight into that Wonderful show of you guys been listening to you since the love line days. Have a good What do you think you I? think that
Starting point is 00:26:40 the situation with Cops is there's a lot more sort of uncertainty when they come up to people they've pulled over that didn't appear to be as prevalent as it is now, like a lot of uncertainty. And that person could take off, the person could lunge at them,
Starting point is 00:27:07 the person might have a weapon. Like, I just think there's a lot more running through the cop's head than when they pulled over the mom in the station wagon in the 60s. You know what I mean? Where they're just sort of walking right up to the car without a thought in their head. Now it's like women will fight you
Starting point is 00:27:25 on the fucking street now, you know what I mean? So that's one element of this. Two is they're human beings, they're living in our society, they're eating the shitty food, they're on the fucking medications that everyone else is needlessly taking, they're having gut problems and every kind of problem. They're fucking staring at their phone too much,
Starting point is 00:27:48 getting their head filled with all kinds of negative imagery and God knows what. Not to mention every third conversation is about defunding them or reimagining them or some sort of weird. I do like when Kamala Harris like, if there was less of them, we'd have a safer society. You know, I don't know if she knows how that works, or cops work, or society works.
Starting point is 00:28:09 But anyway, there's a lot more running through the head of your average 30-year-old cop walking up to a car and or a motorcycle in 2024 than there was in 1964, would you say? Oh yeah. Oh my God. And, and they're, you know, so, so there's a lot of possible, I mean, this specific situation, I mean, who knows if he's on too much thyroid medicine or something, but, but I have noticed that the cops are a little, um, sort of escalated.
Starting point is 00:28:41 You know, they're, they're more, uh, they're, they're more, you can tell when they talk to people They're they're either trying to de-escalate like really trying to be extra super cordial or they're already kind of they're sort of Activated in some way. Yeah, I don't blame them. I don't blame them. Listen, what else they gonna do? What else they gonna do? It's a whole situation. Would you wanna be a cop in Minneapolis now? You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:29:09 And so they just leave and they retire early or they move on or they go to some other town that's more hospitable to them. And then there's an escalation and crime in that town because there's not enough cops. It's all downstream. It's, look, defund the police is exactly the same as sanctuary city.
Starting point is 00:29:30 Thanks for the announcement, my lady. You're so much better than I am. Now what? Yeah. And that's the time we're living in. Yeah, where was I hearing, gosh, Oh, I was listening to some French politics and they were saying that one of the most significant leftovers of the French Revolution was they like just saying things or so and thinking things or so rather than pragmatically solving problems for people. We're getting there. And I think it's the digital world that is causing this thing.
Starting point is 00:30:06 Yeah, but that's left over from 1790. That's how they got into so much trouble with the French Revolution. They were declaring things were so ideologically so, and it was bad for people. They had to force it down their throat. Now you have the Public Safety Committee and the Reign of Terror. No, yes, but I'm saying it has been sped up by the digital world and people leaving the mechanical world and entering the digital world. That's the problem. Because in the digital world, stuff gets done that never gets done. You know? What do you mean? Stuff gets done that never gets done, you know? What do you mean? Stuff gets done that never gets done? People sit around and play video games, you know?
Starting point is 00:30:53 You know, yeah. And they win, you know, they win, you know, could be, you know, tic-tac-toe, it doesn't matter. They just play a sort of digital thing and they win and it feels like something got done or something happened but nothing happened, you know, as opposed to go clean your gutters. And they get the same feeling of winning some video game that doesn't do anything as I might get from completing a task. See what I'm saying? Their task is in the ether and it's invisible. It's dangerous, man. And by the way, that's how you're getting tons of fucking people who like know what they know when they don't know anything. They need to start surfing.
Starting point is 00:31:46 Hit the beach, bitches. All right, Provo, tomorrow, me doing standup over there at Dry Bar, that'll be seven o'clock, 930 show, and then Casper, Wyoming, everybody, the Rialto Theater doing standup, October 4th, and then off to Nashville at Zany's doing a show there October 10th.
