Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome back to the Adam and Dr. Drew Show Classics. I'm your host, Big Brother Jake, host of the Big Brother Jake Podcast on the Podcast One Network. Check that out when you can. But we got another good one for you here on the Adam and Dr. Drew Show. All right. First up today is episode 209 titled The Corolla Commitment. That aired on January 31st, 2015,
Starting point is 00:00:26 and Adam and Dr. Drew discuss what Adam likes to do in his spare time and how he likes his life the way it is. Check it out. Good day, Dr. Drew. I'll say good day to you, sir. I'm always amazed. I have so much to fucking talk to you about. It's weird.
Starting point is 00:00:43 Let's talk about it, man. That's weird. We've been talking too much for 10 years. I have stuff to talk to you about. Isn't that weird? No, I mean, I don't think it's weird because there are people in life who I look forward very much to speaking to. Well, you're certainly not one of those. There are people I don't want to talk to ever again like my mom's friends um but then there's dr drew i'm i'm you're you're a guy who's interested in things and there are people that aren't and i'm i'm interested in the people that aren't interested in things yeah it kind of gets me interested too. But that's part of being interested. Well, tell me this. Do people decide, and I do think this is a mistake that people make,
Starting point is 00:01:35 people decide that they're not fill in the blank. They're not into whatever. Not into fill the blank. Well, I'll give you a for instance. I'm a car guy. Yeah. But most of the people I speak to are not car guys. Not in this world. When I work construction, I talk to a lot of car guys. Yeah, yeah. But in this world, comedians, actors, and things like that.
Starting point is 00:02:01 Yeah. Not so much. Matt Fondelier, my sister it's not a car guy this is there's a new breed of cat strangely ironic he sits amongst cars and race cars all day he's miserable all day uh not a car guy but not many guys are these days and if they are they're not in this world this virtual world computerized world. They're out on the construction side. So oftentimes I'll speak to people and they're not car guys. So I will say they'll go, well, what do you like to do when you're not doing a podcast or writing a book?
Starting point is 00:02:38 And I'll say, I go out and race Paul Newman's race cars. And they go, well, there you go. And then we get on to the next subject. Now, they're not car people. And they've decided they're not car people. And they heard the word race car. Yeah. They just hear white noise.
Starting point is 00:02:54 Well, they heard the word car. Yeah. And they're not interested because they're not car people. But obviously, there's a lot more to this. And there's a lot more to this, and there's a lot more interest. If you're mining for interest like you are for gold, there's a ton here. Oh, sure. What car?
Starting point is 00:03:11 His race car. Did he own that race car? How did you learn to race? Where do you race? Where did he race? How did you get the car? How much are the cars? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:21 And with whom? Other cars? Other guys like you? Other celebrity, whatever? Yeah. And who and with whom are other cars? Yeah. Yeah. The guys like you, whatever. Whatever. There's a million questions to ask. But you heard the word car and you said, there you go. Now, Drew, not that person. No. As a matter of fact, you should be quite the opposite. I mean, we all have things we're interested in. And I got to tell you, i met one of my neighbors and uh he had cool frames
Starting point is 00:03:52 and he looked like an interesting cat i frames yeah yeah and i said to him he said found out we're neighbors and i said what are you in what what line you in? I missed that, by the way. I missed that part. What line are you in? Guys go, what line are you in, bub? And it's all gone. I think the computer fucked that up. But it used to be aluminum siding or whatever. He said, outdoor advertising.
Starting point is 00:04:17 And I was like, I'm going to have to stretch a little bit here. Like, you know, you do billboards or bus stops or, you know. But I said, you know, wow, because, by the way, the world's your oyster, right? I mean, you're doing the sides of buildings. You're doing buses. These days, yeah. It's expanded. You're papering shit.
Starting point is 00:04:39 I mean, you're doing stuff that didn't. The international market's gone crazy. But what I'm saying is it used to just be billboards where the movies were and the realtors were on the benches at the bus stops. Now you're doing the entire bus. Right. And then the sides of buildings are become. Yeah. Right. Right. So we had a little, even though I was thinking now. Who cares? Who cares? You know, I wish he said I race airplanes competitively. But I still try to mine a little something out of there. And for those of you who don't, you're doing yourself a disservice because that's how you learn shit. But it also just makes for a better life.
Starting point is 00:05:18 And Drew's a curious person, which is a good thing. I'm curious how the MCT oil is treating you. Because my stomach was growling? Well, I'm just curious if you like it. Because I dig that shit. I want to talk about it. I just, we just dumped some in my coffee. I'm one of these people who can't tell the difference of what I do, when I do it, and how I do it.
Starting point is 00:05:40 You're very sensitive that way. A little bit, yeah, yeah. Someone calling you a pussy. That's part of it but uh you i can ingest whatever not know what it was whether it was from the ground or from a cow or you know these people that are like you know you eat red meat and you fucking spike and then you bottom out you know you have you have some chocolate you're riding that rush you're riding that rush but then you come crashing hard and like or you, you have some chocolate and you're riding that rush. You're riding that rush. But then you come crashing hard.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Or you just fucking have some chocolate and get about your fucking day. I don't have any of that. Well, MCT, people keep asking what's this stuff I take. It's called MCTL. It's medium chain triglycerides. I have no vested interest in anything. I was extreme skeptic. But tried it.
Starting point is 00:06:23 I'll be goddamned if it didn't, like, curb my appetite all day and sort of improve my mood a little bit, energy or something. Yeah, I'm surprised at what it did. And I dropped like 14 pounds just – I mean I may exercise and run a little bit and I'm managing my diet but I find it easy to manage it with this stuff. It's interesting. It's really interesting. Yeah. And by the way, I think people with metabolic syndrome particularly respond to it because I am that guy.
Starting point is 00:06:49 I have metabolic syndrome. What's the syndrome? Which is high cholesterol, insulin resistance, high blood pressure. It's a familial thing. And, you know, I love carbohydrates and it's hard for me to cut out carbohydrates. And this has somehow made that easy. I think you're just weak-minded but anyway no pussy pussy you got that part right no i um speaking of i don't know life uh no drew
Starting point is 00:07:14 you've always said that you were a guy who some people were interested in themselves and some people were interested in others and you were sort of interested in the stories. And I'm paraphrasing. But how did that go? Because I really like that thought of yours that you told me. Where did you hear me say that? Many years ago, we talked about the kind of people there were. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:36 So I think it's funny. And they broke down into people that are interested in their own ideas and people. And I'm paraphrasing. You're making it a cognitive process, and that's fine. But I was discussing, and it's funny, I think of it as a new thought, but indeed I've probably had this thought for quite a while, as an emotional process. I think some people experience the self, themselves, their experiences,
Starting point is 00:08:02 their emotional life first through other people and then into themselves. Like their first concern is, how are you feeling? What's going on? And then how do I feel in response to that or what's mobilizing me? As opposed to somebody who's thinking about themselves all the time and then, oh yeah, you're out there too. And I'm thinking about you and experience some stuff, but it's in relation to me. Does that make sense? Yeah. It's kind of a tough concept for people to get sometimes. No, but you simplified it quite a bit over a decade ago when you said it to me. Yeah, people experience other people's first or themselves first, bottom line.
Starting point is 00:08:35 This wasn't quite that. This was more about stories and interest, meaning— It's in the same zone. All right, but please fucking tell me what you told me over a decade ago. Please. I know you can't remember it, but what I'm saying is you're overly
Starting point is 00:08:54 complicating it now. It's not experience. It's some people are listeners and some people are talkers. Some people are focused on the other was like one of those things. Some people are focused on the other, others are focused on themselves. Bottom line.
Starting point is 00:09:09 That's what I'm talking about. Yeah, but it's not, it wasn't, we're going off down a different road here. Okay. Which is, this was simply a conversational thing. Okay. It wasn't about experiencing the other person or anything like that. It was simply a way to converse. That you were interest some people were storytellers and some people were listeners and again i'm paraphrasing and you
Starting point is 00:09:33 can't remember the one fucking smart thought you had in the last 15 years but i think that's you're saying it i mean i think that's true i think you're saying it i don't know i can say differently than that interested in in in it's not in others. It's it's in information. I think, as I said, it's in the same zone. But, yes, that's right. And and and even more for me, it's even more important because I'm an auditory learner. I really learn through what people from talking and listening and other people's stories and information that comes out of them verbally,
Starting point is 00:10:05 I absorb that better than anything. Right. All right. So I like that, and I like that you're that way, and that's why you and I probably always have something to talk about and always enjoy time. Now, you're – oh, it was something like some people like feelings and other people like ideas or something. And that was you like ideas. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:32 That's what I was trying to get to as the bits come back over the years. See, I think you're like conflating a bunch of different things I say. No. They're all true. They're all accurate. No, you had a – there was a Drewism. There's one that I always always remember reality on reality's terms always fucking love that one and you had one other which is some people like
Starting point is 00:10:51 stories and some people like ideas or whatever and you like yes i like ideas yes story in fact i get a little bewildered by people that are so into story and to my own detriment because i don't tell stories that well because i want to get to the ideas. I think that's where we had this conversation because I was jumping to the ideas. You're like, hey, slow down, tell the story. I was like, no, no, who cares about the story? It's the idea that counts. And people zone out over ideas sometimes. They don't like hearing ideas as much as stories. Welcome back to the Adam and Dr. Drew Show Classics. Up next is episode 264 titled, Where Are They Now? Which aired on August 15th of 2015.
Starting point is 00:11:36 Adam and Drew talk about people they worked with in the past and where they might be now. Man, I wouldn't want to get on Adam's bad side. So take a listen. All I do is go through life going, let's not have this happen, and then it doesn't take a day or a week. It takes 11 minutes for that to happen, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:57 We both got it screwed there. We both got screwed, because Gary's wish was for Nick not to have the door slam. It's on a pneumatic closer. But you've got nine seconds that you can leave it hanging open while you set down the cup of coffee. You have 30 seconds. Yeah. Right.
Starting point is 00:12:14 It's true. But to be fair to Nick, I don't think Nick. I don't think he knew that. He didn't know that. So you got what you didn't want. That was Nick stretching out Condor style, trying to hold the door and then set the coffee on the edge of the console. So in which case, Drew banged this as he was reaching for the coffee. And then I got what I didn't want, which is asking Drew not to say thank you, knowing coffee was coming in after the show.
Starting point is 00:12:40 But 0 for 2. Well, what are you going to do? That was an honor hearing that. I've heard about him doing that for a long time. I know. Yeah, I miss it. You've never seen Inversion? No.
Starting point is 00:12:55 It's like a band playing a really old B-side. Yeah. No, normally producer, junior producer Lauren, who I'm sure is doing, if she's not doing nothing right now, she must be doing next to nothing. Raising three kids. Okay. But zero career potential for her. Zero.
Starting point is 00:13:15 Zero. Zero. Zero. No potential for any kind of gainful employment whatsoever, as was everyone else. Well, she studied under the best. She learned a few things from you. She learned from the best. She learned nothing from the best.
Starting point is 00:13:29 Either way, everyone over at that place was a total mess, and no one is... Is there anyone over there from my era that's doing a GD thing? Anderson's starting to do some films. At age 51? Has he finished any of them? Yeah. And he's going to get some awards for them, too.
Starting point is 00:13:49 They've been in every contest. Nine-minute films? Yeah, short films. So feature length, what, in his 90s? Short films. Okay. Brian's doing pretty good. Just tell me.
Starting point is 00:14:02 Nobody's doing anything. Okay. They Ryan's doing pretty good. Just tell me. Nobody's doing anything. Okay. They're bad. They weren't good at what they did, and their attitude was worse than they were, quite frankly. I mean, I got hold of them when everyone was in their 30s and 20s and sort of said to them, Hey, here's how you can do it. And they all went, Hey, shut up. Old man.
Starting point is 00:14:22 We know what we're doing. I wasn't old back then. I just told them, here's how it's going to go. Junior producer Lauren would bring the coffee in after the show started, and then Drew would do the phantom thank you into the air while the show began, which was always delightful for me. At a certain point, because I'm an insane person, and because Drew and Lauren would both show up a half hour before the show started, I would say, perhaps you can get your mug of coffee before the show starts and then we can sit down and start the show and you don't have to come in as the show is starting with the door slam and the phantom. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:15:01 maybe two days. And then the third day, we went back to the old way, which was her showing up during the course of the show. And then when I had the temerity to say something to her, that was a major issue. Why are you on my back? It's a whole new breed of whatever. I did. I had the wardrobe person season one who's fired now. She didn't last the season. But season one of Catch a Contract, we had the wardrobe person season one who's fired now.
Starting point is 00:15:25 She didn't last the season, but season one of Catch a Contract, we had the wardrobe person. And she would lay out the wardrobe for me to wear that day. But it always had all the tags on it. And I don't mean her personal tags. It said like Monday, you know, kitchen work day or interview day with the tags from Bullocks. Not the shirt labels. I mean, the stuff that was hanging off the stuff. The prices.
Starting point is 00:15:53 Buy a new shirt. And it was like, you need lineman dykes or some scissors or something. Also, there's part of me that was confused. Like, do you want me to wear this shirt? Like, yeah, that's your shirt for today. I'm like, well, it's covered in tags. Oh, she'd say. I can get those.
Starting point is 00:16:12 And I'd go, well, yeah, if you want me to wear the shirt, there's tags hanging off the sleeves and stuff. But I'm confused because I'm thinking maybe you don't want me to wear these shirts or you want me to try them on or something so you can take them back. But if this shirt I'm about to wear in scene, take the tags off. And she's like, okay. And I'm like, first thinking, you do wardrobe. You don't do, like, you know, I tan leather, I base jump, and I do wardrobe.
Starting point is 00:16:42 You do wardrobe, sweetheart. Why are we having this discussion? But all right. And the following morning, I was tired. I've driven out to Azusa. I was in no mood. I walked into my trailer and there were all the shirts and my pants and whatever. And they're just hanging with the tags on them.
Starting point is 00:17:00 So I just lifted them off the hanger and I just walked to the trailer. It's about three feet off the ground. The trailer's a little bit the hanger and I just walked to the trailer. It's about three feet off the ground. The trailer's a little bit risen up, just parked on the street. And I just opened the trailer door and I just threw them out onto the sidewalk and I shut the door and I just went back and sat down. And she came in and she was like, what's on the sidewalk? And I said, the tags are all over the shirts and pants. And she said why'd you throw it out and i said because i told you yesterday to remove the tags before you put them in because i don't want to have to go find you or pull the tags off or tear the thing or whatever and she went yeah you just told me once oh i said i told you once 21 hours ago
Starting point is 00:17:43 yeah just the one time. Now you're throwing it out on the sidewalk? And I'm like, well, first off, I shouldn't, bitch, I shouldn't have had to tell you once. But I told you once, and the once was yesterday. You're going to sit and look me in the eye and defend that? And you can go, well, Adam, you're a douchebag. I don't know. Maybe I am.
Starting point is 00:18:04 But my feeling is I'm fucking here to work. Are you here to work? If so, do your GD job. That's how I know Lauren's off to doing nothing, and I always knew she was off to doing nothing. But anyway, when she reverted back to the coffee being given out on air two days later, her attitude when I told her, hey, what's up, was, hey, what's up with you? Which is all the quality you need to go nowhere.
Starting point is 00:18:36 That's the quality you need. But anyway, I can rest. I rest at night knowing that nobody in that entire place has gone on to do anything because, not because of their physical or mental or emotional, because of their attitude. Their attitude was always horrible, and that will stymie you career-wise more than anything else. more than anything else. It's all, everybody talks, everybody talks about how smart everyone is or how important it is to be smart or good instincts or good education or whatever.
Starting point is 00:19:12 You know what the truth is? As the boss of 16 or 17 people, I really don't know who's smart and who isn't smart. I do know who has a good attitude and who doesn't. Not, I don't, who's smart and who isn't smart. I do know who has a good attitude and who doesn't. Not, I don't, and by the way, I don't know where anyone hails from. I have no idea what assistant math's education is. It seems limited, but I really have no, I don't know where, I really, if you press me, I think he went to college out here or something.
Starting point is 00:19:51 Know your lackeys. I don't know. Maybe there's some CSUN involved. Definitely some, you know, it's a state college. But the point is this. I don't know what anyone's IQ is, and I don't know what anyone's education level is, I only know their attitude. I know that Matt Fondelier has a great attitude.
Starting point is 00:20:14 I got to show you, I tell you, I'm watching my kids now into the workplace, right? And I told you Douglas has got a crazy engine going. And I remember back then when I would just do anything anybody asked me to do. You know what I mean? I'll do that. I sat next to you while you did that shit. Yeah, but let me tell you how things happened.
Starting point is 00:20:38 He had a few extra hours, so drive Uber. So he started driving Uber. So he's driving Uber. That's what Matt does. And then he's like, well, God, he's Uber. I should be able to invent something. Look, I don't want to give his invention away, but he invented a little advertising thing for his Uber car. And he's going to sell advertising. And people saw just the prototype up and said, what's this?
Starting point is 00:20:56 And everyone was like, oh, I'm onto this. He was on the street and someone waved him down. Hey, you an Uber car? Yeah, yeah. Well, I don't have my phone. It's not working. He's like, I'll stick you in the back. Let's just go.
Starting point is 00:21:06 And puts him in, charges their phone for them so he can get the Uber up. Turns out she's the head of the advertising board or something for the nation. And she goes, what's this advertising? He goes, oh, you got this idea? She goes, I'm going to hook you up with a guy, a tech guy. And you seem to have a good attitude, son. I'm going to hook you up with a guy in San Francisco. Sounds like a young Lorne or a young Anderson to me.
Starting point is 00:21:26 And she, uh, and then she. Ah, ah, it's so funny. So funny. Well, look. She gave the email address. He emailed her. He hooked up this morning with the guy in San Francisco. And everyone's like, Adam, why are you being a dick?
Starting point is 00:21:38 I'm not being a dick. Their fucking attitude sucked. They sucked early and they sucked off. And now they're nowhere. So fine. What do you want from me? I'm just reporting. I'm not doing anything. I didn't force her or him to have a horrible attitude. That's their decision. I'm explaining to you so you don't waste your lives like they wasted their lives. That's all. I just want the next generation to actually have a life. We'll be right back with more of the Adam and Dr. Drew Show Classics. Last up today, we go to episode 312 that aired
Starting point is 00:22:18 on February 25th, 2016. Starting point is 00:22:55 Twitter handle is at itsbmcknight. Who doesn't know Brian McKnight, Adam? I mean, you know what I mean? No, I don't know anyone who doesn't know Brian McKnight. But I run a pretty tight McKnight circle. You do? Are you in the mcknight world that's how we uh we call it uniters we united over brian mcknight that's how we met we met online and there's a place night strangely enough well they do a thing they're car guys who do a cars and coffee thing every Sunday morning. We do a McKnight and donuts thing every Sunday. But it's later.
Starting point is 00:23:28 It's more like noon. We're not morning people. But we get together and we unite over McKnight. What the fuck is wrong with your eye? I've been sleeping on my face and I had a hectic morning this morning. No, that's not hectic. That's like you've got conjunctivitis or something. Oh, maybe I got it. Your eyelid is swollen as shit. Maybe I got it from my dog or's like you've got conjunctivitis or something. Oh, maybe I got it.
Starting point is 00:23:45 Your eyelid is swollen as shit. Maybe I got it from my dog or something. Your dog has conjunctivitis? Well, his eyes are always red. You should go look in the mirror. I don't have. You know what? Gary, back me up on this.
Starting point is 00:23:56 Just look at him. I'm not controlled by vanity. A little bit. Maybe it's my clinical eye. No, it's not something that maybe my clinical eye just goes off when I see stuff that I know is pathological. No, I sleep on my arms. I've got to take a closer look. All right, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:24:12 Sorry, Brian, good to see you. Good to see you, man. It's nice to see you're driving something nice over there. That's awesome. All right. Last time I had a lung infection. Thank you. All right, I'm fine.
Starting point is 00:24:20 Uh-huh. Last time I had a lung infection. Thank you. Uh-huh. All right, I'm fine. Brian, I was wondering, because I used to see Brian over at Kalis X. Brian was driving a Lamborghini Gallardo. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Mm-hmm. Now, here's the deal. If you're really rich, you pronounce it Gallardo, because you don't care. You don't give a shit. That's right. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Until you roll.
Starting point is 00:24:45 Until you roll. You call it a Gallardo. That's right. Until you roll. Until you roll. You call it a Gallardo. But he had a, I think he had a Gallardo. He's got a beautiful Audi out there, so things are working out nicely for Mr. McKnight. So, where were we? We were introducing him and his new album. Better. Just getting back into things a little bit here, you and I. I have a great memory of Brian McKnight, which is I stole a home run from him.
Starting point is 00:25:06 Yes. I'll never get over that. Actually, I'd already hit one in the game. Yes. This would have been my second one. Was this a Dodger Stadium thing? It was in Detroit. Detroit.
Starting point is 00:25:15 It was, no, I think it was Chicago. Yeah, it was the other Chicago. It wasn't Wrigley. It was Comiskey. Ah, yes. Yes. And Brian was heading right toward the MVP zone because he was going to hit his second home run of the day. But into the night, into the Chicago night, I drifted back and took it.
Starting point is 00:25:36 It was over the fence, too. Yeah. What Drew's doing is tuning out now. out now but focus try not to focus on me robbing brian mcknight of a home run and try to focus on him just about hitting a second home run wow yeah i'm focused yeah that's pretty good not too shabby did you play baseball in high school i play i didn't really play baseball he's got the baseball body right he certainly can swing the bat yeah he's going for a second home run i was actually at batting practice with Fred Lynn. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:26:06 Getting batting instructions. Nice. And I just listened to my instructor and it worked out. Oh. He did a good job. Not quite good enough for the second one. That was taken away. But yeah, it was a funny.
Starting point is 00:26:17 It's like that one where you did the diving thing where you worked your shoulder out and stuff. No, that was my best catch ever. And that was against. Palm Springs or something, right. That was my best catch ever, and that was against... Palm Springs or something, right? That was Tommy Chong's son. And the only reason... I don't know his first... I think his first name was Bong...
Starting point is 00:26:35 Bongwater? Bongstein? Bongman? Something? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag?
Starting point is 00:26:40 Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag?
Starting point is 00:26:41 Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag?
Starting point is 00:26:41 Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag?
Starting point is 00:26:41 Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag?

Starting point is 00:26:43 Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Hashtag? Has No, you know, the only reason I made that catch, McKnight's was a lot more pedestrian. That was just he hit it hard and hit it high and hit it deep, and I just kind of floated back and floated back. And at some point, I had to sort of feel around to where the fence was.
Starting point is 00:26:56 But the other thing was the fence, because they set it up as a sort of temporary fence, you know, 220 feet or whatever it was from home plate. It's actually a fence, probably. They said a fence, but it had legs. Oh, yeah. And the legs came into the playing field. And so if you were drifting around the fence, you would trip over one of the legs, like a C-stand, they call it. So I was sort of trying to figure that out, but it was exciting for me.
Starting point is 00:27:22 I do remember two things. But it was exciting for me. I do remember two things. The catch, if we want to talk motivation, the catch against Chong Jr. was only made possible by the right fielder who was a pro ballplayer or an ex-pro ballplayer. And I was playing center field, and he just drilled this thing into the night, and it was one of those my mind immediately went into, maybe I can hold him to a triple mode.
Starting point is 00:27:58 It wasn't in I'm going to catch this ball mode. It's the same thing you do with everything in life. Like there's a part of life where you go, I'm going to avoid this accident. And then there's a part of life where you go, I'm going to brace myself and minimize the damage because this is definitely happening. And I said, Oh, this ball's definitely over my head,
Starting point is 00:28:15 but maybe if I run my ass off, I can go run it down and hold him, hold him to a triple. And the guy who was in right field, who was a professional ball player, I can't remember his name, started screaming immediately. It's your ball. It's your ball.
Starting point is 00:28:29 You got it. It's your ball. And all of a sudden, I just turned my back to home plate and I just started running. And he was screaming the whole time. It's your ball. Lay out. Lay out. And I just dove and laid out and made the best catch ever.
Starting point is 00:28:40 But it's only because he got me into catch the ball mode, not run it down, grab it, and throw it back mode. I need that guy in life.
