Starting point is 00:00:00 And welcome back to WFU QU307 on the FUQU Clock. Had an opportunity to talk to some people out on the street about the news that the commercial break podcast has moved to three days a week and no longer two days a week. Here's local resident Jim Drangle on the news. I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. Everybody's out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys and nickels worth.
Starting point is 00:00:27 Banks are going bust, chup, keep us keep a gun under the counter. Punks are running wild in the street, and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do. And there's no end to it. We know the air is unfit to breathe, and our food is unfit to eat. We sick watching our TVs while some local newscaster tells us that today we had 15 homicides and 63 violent crimes as if that's the way it's supposed to be.
Starting point is 00:00:48 We know things are bad, worse than bad. They're crazy. It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't go out anymore. We sit in the house and slowly the world we're living in is getting smaller and all we say is please at least leave us alone in our living room. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel built and radios, and I won't say anything, just leave us alone in our living room. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radios. And I won't say anything. Just leave us alone. Well, I'm not good at leaving you alone.
Starting point is 00:01:10 I want you to get mad. I don't want you to protest. I don't want you to ride. I don't want you to ride to your congressman because I wouldn't know what to tell you to ride. I don't know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the Russians and the crime in the street. All I know is that first, you've got to get mad.
Starting point is 00:01:26 You've got to say I'm a human being, God damn it! My life has value! I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want you to get up right now and go to the window, open it, and stick your head out and yell, I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not gonna take this anymore! I must mad as hell, and I'm not gonna take this anymore!
Starting point is 00:01:51 Then we'll figure out what to do about the depression and the inflation and the oil crisis. But first get out out of your chairs, hoping the window stick your head out and yell, and say, I must mad as hell, I am not 30 takers anymore. Well, from this reporter's angles, sounds like a great decision all round. We'll be back after this. Commercial break. Tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk,sk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk,'m going with this is, you know, they cracked my neck and it felt really good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:27 It was scared, but then it felt good. And back then, there weren't, chiropractic work wasn't a thing a lot of people did or were hard of. I'm sure it's been around for a while. But then when I went to the next restaurant, when I got into like the fine dining restaurant, then we would get this parade of chiropractic students who would come in and work as waiters and waiters. Oh, work as leaders in the winter. Oh, because it was near the college.
Starting point is 00:02:45 Yes. Got it. And these motherfuckers were the craziest human beings I have ever met in my entire life. We're talking like smoke meth, get naked, fuck hard. Well, I took the time to read it because now I'm really interested because it's a news story. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:58 You know, say he, you think it was... Yeah. Ha, ha, ha. Where that came from? How is it? That was a well placed last though. Thank you audience. I'm gonna wear that caper. That was a well placed laugh though. Thank you audience. It's our audience going, we're out of here.
Starting point is 00:03:11 There's our audience going, get back to the Crystal Mess story. Don't give a shit about Spotify. Tell me what you guys do. Here's what we do right here. Quilt tracking. Okay, reputation management. Reputation management. You see how great? Okay, great. These guys are doing it. Reputation.
Starting point is 00:03:33 Okay, another $500. Never gonna see. I also have it in this business per ten years. SEO $2000 for me to submit your website to a director. You're going to be flush with reservations. The next episode of the commercial break starts now oh oh oh oh oh
Starting point is 00:04:16 oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh I don't know who that was actually. Godfeld it. Hey, hey, hey! Hey, hey, hey! Let's look at this fucking paper cut from the other day. Anyway, welcome to another episode of the commercial break on Brian Green. This is my cohort, Chrissy Hodley, and...
Starting point is 00:04:35 That's to you! That's to you, Chrissy. That's to you, Brian. That's to you out there in the podcast universe, another episode of the commercial break. You know where you are, you know how you do it. Thank you very much for listening. We certainly appreciate it. Let's get right into it. I am really pleased with these new studio chairs here. Oh my gosh, I love them. Now, you know how you do it. Thank you very much for listening. We certainly appreciate it. Let's get right into it.
Starting point is 00:04:45 I am really pleased with these new studio chairs here. Oh my gosh, I love them. How are you feeling about them? Yeah. Yeah. In fact, I... You got them from one of those fancy places. Yeah, they're very ergonomic.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, that's a big word you use. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Speaking of, I went to the chiropractor. You went to the chiropractor, did you? Yes. I was about to say these chairs really helped my back because I feel like when I was twisted up against a straight back, I can to the chiropractor. You went to the chiropractor, did you? Yes, yes. I was about to say these chairs really helped my back because I feel like when I was twisted up against a straight back, I can actually move my body.
Starting point is 00:05:10 So there's swivel chairs now for those of you listening, swivel chair. So yo, you went to the chiropractor, huh? Yeah. You decided to get back on that train? I loved it. Yeah, that's a train you won't get off of. We're gonna keep going there.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Keep your coming. We're gonna get me all lined up, correctly. Yeah, so what do they say? They said, yeah, my hip is kind of tilted up on one side. So we're gonna work on getting everything into alignment in the same way and then they did a little neck work too. You and Jeff have been having shower sex. I think it might be the way I sleep
Starting point is 00:05:41 because I'm a side sleeper. Oh. And I kind of like, you kind of kick your hip out. Do you put a pillow in between your legs? I should, he told me I should. Yeah, I do, because I'm a side sleeper. And I kinda like. You kinda kick your hip out? Yeah, you put a pillow in between your legs? I should, he told me I should. Yeah, I do, I've been doing that for years. And I actually put a pillow under my, if I'm sleeping, I usually sleep just with my head up
Starting point is 00:05:53 because I'm usually watching TV with my special blue pillow. My special blue phone pillow, phone holder. You know you're ridiculous when you have a phone holder for your, for your, for your, for your bed. You have for your bed. But anyway, when you have small children children you can't turn on the big TV because then it gets noisy anyway So I put this pillow underneath my my knees. Yes, so kind of lifts my legs up a little bit decompresses But you know those chiropractors they will fucking get you and they'll just keep on going now I believe in chiropractic tree. I do too chiropractic tree. Yeah chiropractic work. Yeah, the chiropractic profession Whatever chiropractor, you know how it goes. Yes, so Is chiropractic tree? How do we say it? Chiropractic work. Yeah, chiropractic profession.
Starting point is 00:06:25 Whatever, chiropractor, you know how it goes. So those chiropractors, you come in the door. Well, there's some that are not good. So, but then there's others that are good. Yeah, but there's regular doctors who aren't good either. True. And now I've always felt that I have real back problems, right?
Starting point is 00:06:41 The other tip, back problems. When my back is actually hurting due to my back problem, I don't go to the chiropractor because I fear that they're going to make it worse with the best of intentions. But when I go there, when I'm just looking for regular maintenance to kind of keep it loose, you know, it usually works. I feel like at least I'm getting some benefit out of it. But every fucking chiropractor is the same.
Starting point is 00:07:01 You walk in the office and it's like, no problem. I'm going to fix you right up. Look at that, I want you to walk back and forth. Walk one way this way and then come back this way. You're about a foot off. I don't know if you notice, but your left leg is about six and a half feet off the ground and you're literally walking on one foot.
Starting point is 00:07:18 So what we're gonna do is let's take 6,000 X-rays of every part of your body and then I always feel like my penis is always involved in the x-ray. And I always feel like, you just wanna see my penis. Yeah. That's how I feel. You didn't do the x-rays.
Starting point is 00:07:31 You didn't do the x-rays. They were there and they were available, but he said, you know, I think, I don't think we need him. Let's work on things for a little while. I think I know exactly, I was very descriptive about what was wrong. So he zeroed in. If you get up on you and crack that back, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:44 I got up on it. You got up on it. It's a part you gotta get used to too. So when Ied in. Did he get up on you and crack that back? So part you got to get used to it too. So when I started going to chiropractor like in my late 20s, you know, I, when I've worked at the chiles, the famed chiles and chiles. And then I had my neck cracked for the first time by someone who was studying to be a chiropractor. Because here in Atlanta, we have life college, which is one of the few legitimate chiropractic schools here in Atlanta, we have Life College, which is one of the few legitimate chiropractic schools here in the country.
Starting point is 00:08:06 And now so, you know, it's a science, certainly I feel like, but it's not like they don't, and they do a lot of schooling. They don't have a medical degree, right? You don't have a DR in front of your name. You, they oftentimes are referred to as doctors. You don't have an MD. Yeah, you don't have an MD.
Starting point is 00:08:20 Yeah, that's, that's more appropriate. Thank you, Hode. Thank you for all of our friends who are chiropractic. So, thank you Hode. You can go, where's Brian Cohn with us? Where I'm going with this is, you know, they cracked my neck and it felt really good. I was scared, but then it felt good. And back then, chiropractic work wasn't a thing a lot of people did or heard of.
Starting point is 00:08:40 I'm sure it's been around for a while. But then when I went to the next restaurant, when I got into the fine dining restaurant, then we would get this parade of chiropractic students who would come in and work as wayers and wayers. Oh, because it was nearer the college. Yes. Got it. And these motherfuckers were the craziest human beings
Starting point is 00:08:55 I have ever met in my entire life. We're talking like smoke, meth, get make it, fuck hard. And I just, I mean, it just might have been these group of chiropractic students. Yeah, the ones that were boozing it up at your establishment. There's a clue. Yeah, they were boozing it up at my establishment
Starting point is 00:09:11 and then I got invited to a few parties and I've never been to parties as wild as I went. When I went with chiropractors, literally there was this couple. They were in college, it was their college years. You notice they're all buff, yes. They're college years, they're 32. You notice they're all buff, too, like they were working, they're 32. You noticed they're all buff, too,
Starting point is 00:09:25 like they were working out. And I guess that's just to kind of like maintain this, I guess you have to buy into it a certain degree, that your body is telling you things. And so they're all buff, even the girls are buffed. And some of these girls were really attracted. There were two girls in particular, they both had boyfriends.
Starting point is 00:09:40 One of the boyfriends worked at the restaurant, one did not. I got invited to like a pool party. Went to the pool party. I noticed everybody was boozing a little hard, but I was like, okay, you know, I can handle, I can hang here. Yeah. You know about boozing and pooling.
Starting point is 00:09:53 I got that, you know, you even throw a gram in there and I'm cool. When we got back to the house, to their apartment, after the sun was, you know, after it got a little late and everyone was a little saucy, we got back to their house and all of a sudden there's a crystal meth pipe being passed around and the girls And the girls are getting naked because it's now all of a sudden it turned into a swinger party
Starting point is 00:10:14 Wow, so like so it went from zero to a thousand in like ten seconds And I was not prepared at all for what was going on First of all, I'm not gonna hit the best part. That's not for me Yeah, yeah, you know, you got me blow. I'm good for now. I don't like that kind of speed. Do you have another kind of speed I can do? I've got like moral indifference.
Starting point is 00:10:34 No, no, no, no, no. Crystal meth is above me. Can I have any cocaine I can smoke? That's right. I'm here to let you know. So this party got fucking buck wild in 2.2 seconds and I didn't really know what to do. I was kind of like, I mean, I knew what to do,
Starting point is 00:10:50 but I didn't know if I wanted to participate. I'm figuring you got a flex. Oh my God, it was insane. I guess they're 360 degree. You. Yeah, just imagine a room where everyone's in their bathing suit one minute and then people just, like there's probably 10 people, right? And then people just like there's probably 10 people right and then people
Starting point is 00:11:07 Just kind of rotate in and out of the room and then all the sudden, you know one girl's got a meth pipe that she comes out of the kitchen with and she's like You know smoking a bubbler full of meth with I and I'm like what oh you smoking some weed and she's like no honey No, no, this isn't weed It was a weird looking pipe and I was like, did you tell me about Brian's ass? I did, I told you, you want some Brian ass? I'm ready to blow. I got some puff puffs on standby. It's shit's free.
Starting point is 00:11:33 When you party with me, you'll shoot his full free. That's what I said, don't you worry. So now the meth pipe, and then the girl that I worked with, all of the sudden comes out topless and I was That's better than the waiter after she usually wear the button up waiter shirt with a long apron And like now they're hitting the crystal meth pipe now the next girl gets her top I mean it just went crazy when I
Starting point is 00:12:06 And I was there was another I think there was another guy there with me who I I worked with and we both were Just observing what was going on But there was certainly questions, you know, you want to part a Brian come over here Yeah, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, I'm good. That's way that's above my prairie gear Captain, I don't think I'm gonna be able to participate in that one And then you know 30 years later I go why didn't I I should have yeah That was like a freebie. I didn't even have to work for it. It was just they were just having you weren't seeking it out
Starting point is 00:12:36 It just came to you. That's right. So me and my friend eventually left it and you know called the cabin that ordered some cocaine and went Plus you know eventually like I mean and then ordered some cocaine and went to the store. Plus, it's, you know, eventually like, I mean, within, I'd probably say, if maybe I'm guessing we were there 30 minutes to an hour, it went from zero to a thousand. I mean, like zero to a thousand where like now guys were getting naked, hand jobs were beginning given and blow jobs were full of porn scene. It was getting to the porn level. Yeah. And I couldn't believe that it was so open.
Starting point is 00:13:07 That was my, it was open. This girl I'd work with from. That was flattering that they brought you into the circle. It was. Hey, you know who that's like a deviant kid behind the bar. What was he in 33 p. or something? He's an amazing. He's got a young cock.
Starting point is 00:13:23 Right. That's right. One guy's poking the other guy's ass hole. I bet he's got a young cock. Right. That's right. One guy's poking the other guy's ass hole. I was like, I'm outta here. Okay, thanks guys. You appreciate it. I was like, well, see you on Monday at work. Right.
Starting point is 00:13:33 Good to talk to you. And that's it went that far. Like it was, there was porn literally going on. And Crystal and that being smoked. And I just, it was too intense for me. Yeah. Like, I'm a crazy guy. And in my 20s, I was a really crazy guy.
Starting point is 00:13:50 But there was a line which I just felt uncomfortable with. I was scared. I was still getting used to it. You're scared of pussy. And I was, I was scared of pussy. I was like, I don't even know what I would do with that. If I, like, now I have to perform in front of 10 other people who are smoking meth.
Starting point is 00:14:06 And I am afraid that guy's gonna start poking me in the asshole. Nothing's there's anything wrong with that if you're into it. But I just, I hadn't smoked any meth. So I wasn't in that asshole poking kind of like mood. You don't have to say. Yeah, you know, you know, it goes. Ah, ah, ah, ah. Oh, Spotify's gonna put a content warning on this one.
Starting point is 00:14:22 Here's a, here's the craziest thing. Following up on Joe Rogan conversation from earlier episode, megaphone, who is our host, is owned by Spotify. Was bought by, purchased by Spotify last year. When I went to go upload our most recent episode, there was a big red banner on top,
Starting point is 00:14:44 and it said, have you read the Spotify rules? If not, please click here and familiarize yourself. And so I clicked and it was this whole page about what we could and couldn't do according to them on the podcast or that we may have a content warning put on our show, which I just assumed they would have done a long time ago. I know, right?
Starting point is 00:15:04 Like we talk about something. I mean, there's nothing we don't talk about. But we're not hate speech or anything like that. And that, and that we maybe kicked off the platform, should we go to certain places with our content, inciting violence, you know, talking about certain races, sexes, creeds, colors, stuff like that, in a way that would provoke violence, stuff that just makes common fucking sense, right? You can't get on Spotify and just openly call for, you know, mass casualty events, right?
Starting point is 00:15:32 And so, but I just wanted to follow up on that, that the day after Joe made that, that kind of contrite statement on Twitter, they are now telling all of their podcasters. If you want to upload something to Spotify on their system, in their network, you got to read these rules. And I said to myself, well, there's those long lost rules. They all of a sudden are talking about it. I know, was it like the Apple, you know,
Starting point is 00:15:56 when you get a new phone and you're just like, agree, agree, agree, agree, agree, agree, accept, accept, accept. I took the time to read it because now I'm really interested because it's a news story. Yeah. Maybe you think it was... I don't know where that came from. How is it?
Starting point is 00:16:11 It was a well-placed laugh though. Thank you audience. It's our audience going, we're out of here. It's our audience going, get back to the Crystal Mess story. Don't give a shit about Spotify. I want to hear about boobs and math. Well let me put a cap on that. I think we told this story many episodes ago
Starting point is 00:16:30 about how I am to got invited to a swingers party. Yes. This is actually one of our most popular YouTube videos. It was a singer of clubs, right? Well it was a club that turned into a swingers club for the night, they rented it out. And I knew the guy who was the party promoter and he invited me next, we were working dual clubs, right?
Starting point is 00:16:45 One right next to the other. He invited me over to his club without giving me fair warning about what I was walking into Which was a swingers fucking party where everybody was naked and girls were getting eaten out on the bar The crazy thing the kind of wrapping this all around is that this is four years Let's call it four or five years after this incident at the pool This is four years, let's call it four or five years after this incident at the pool. This swinger party happened and at that swinger party, I recognize this girl. I recognize this girl.
Starting point is 00:17:11 I recognize this girl. There she is. That's the girl whose apartment had this foreign scene going on and she was there. And she explained to me, in the brief conversation I had to her, that this was promoted heavily on inside of life college. Like this was a thing that people were kind of into. Yeah, you
Starting point is 00:17:30 know, so if you're, I'm not saying, listen, this is a small group of segment of chiropractors. I'm not saying this is how all chiropractors act. I'm saying this is how most of them act. I'm just kidding. We've got some friends of a chiropractor. It's wonderful human beings. Yeah, wonderful human beings. Now, I'm sure that I'm gonna, let me check my text messages for this one. Elon Musk is pissed off. Yes, he is.
Starting point is 00:17:57 And it just learned about this. Uh-huh. Because his plane is being tracked. That's right, I read about it too. By some 19-year-old kid who's in, you know, it too. By some 19 year old kid, yeah. Who's in college, he's trying to make his way through college. And so he's a plain enthusiast. He wants to be a pilot or he's a pilot, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:18:13 So he decides he is going to take publicly available information, which is the call letters of your airplane, which is usually a couple of numbers. And then I do. I do. Yeah, there's some lessons. And then you know about this. I do. Yeah, it's for some lessons. And thank God for the friendly skies.
Starting point is 00:18:29 I didn't complete those lessons because I'm afraid of heights that I'm not a very good pilot. But I did. And so I know that any time that you get in, most times when you get into an airplane, you turn on a tracking device. So that in case you get in in any trouble,
Starting point is 00:18:44 they know for a second any trouble, they know. They know. First of all, second of all, they know where you're at. Air traffic controllers have a very important responsibility and that is to keep one plane out of, out from the inside of another plane. Yes. That's why almost never do you hear about two planes colliding
Starting point is 00:18:58 is because we have this air traffic control system that runs throughout the entire country. And there are air traffic control towers in the middle of fucking nowhere that are guiding planes in this highway in the sky. So to speak. It is the highway in the sky. That's what it is.
Starting point is 00:19:12 So when you fly a private plane, a private jet like Elon does, of course you're having a tracker on there because it's a jet. And so if it's a jet, it's almost like kind of a given that you have a tracker on there. And you wanna fly fast, you wanna fly high, so you can get there as quickly as possible.
Starting point is 00:19:25 That is one of, there are recreational planes that you just kind of let the air traffic controller know where you are, you have your correspondence is off, but that doesn't, or you don't have one, that doesn't happen very often, not in 2022. So this kid found a call sign for Elon Musk, Drake, and other planes. Bill Gates, Bezos, Bezos.
Starting point is 00:19:46 That's right. So, he gets on flight aware, which is a website anybody can go to, and you can look up the call sign of an airplane and find out where it is, where it was, where it's going, because all of that is publicly available information. It gets tracked. Of course it fuck does, right? So, he's publishing it now. He's publishing it on a website.
Starting point is 00:20:05 Let's see here. You wanna find out where E-Line is now? Yeah. Let's look. What's today's date? Today is February. Well, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
Starting point is 00:20:17 Okay, so it's February something. Uh-huh. Okay, three hours ago, E-Line's Musk is taking, E-'s jet is taking off from a Hawthorne, California, which is I'm assuming where the Tesla plant is. Now it's before it landed in Hawthorne. Now it goes to Austin Tech. What I noticed is it's in and around Austin, Texas, and Brownsville a lot because I think that's where he lived. Yeah, and he just moved his, I think the headquarters to Austin. Oh, he did? Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:20:48 Yeah, he wants to be closer to Joe Rogan. Joe Rogan's his only friend. Joe Rogan's the only guy who understands him. Here's some weed in the shot of vodka, talk to him. Yeah. I mean, Elon is a strange guy, you know? He is. He's a strange guy.
Starting point is 00:20:59 Genius, no doubt. He's a strange guy, love him or hate him. He's a genius. Yeah, very much. He thinks big, takes incredible risks. I mean, Tesla is one of the biggest risks any human being has ever taken with corporate dollars and a lot of other people's money
Starting point is 00:21:13 and billions and billions and billions of dollars. And I don't even think still to this day they're turning a profit. I think they just keep building cars hoping that one day that they're gonna, but people keep pouring money into that fucking. If people love their Tesla's. People love their Tesla. People love their beautiful cars.
Starting point is 00:21:26 They are. They really are. Yeah. Yeah. No, I don't know if I want it. I like the experience of driving. I don't know that I want to give that up. The autonomous cars, you mean? Yeah. I like being autonomous myself, but I don't know though, I want to drive a car.
Starting point is 00:21:37 I like having a driver. I know you do. Chrissy Hades driving. Chrissy Hades driving. That's why one time she gave me her car for four weeks. She's like, here, take my car home from Bonnarou in the middle of the night after 22 bud lights of someone spiked my fucking drink. Here's the key.
Starting point is 00:21:57 I'll sell him. I'll catch you when I get back. I know. I kept calling her like, hey, I have your car and she's like, oh, really? Okay. Well, maybe we'll get together tomorrow. Like it's your car. You don't have another one. I know about it. It's necessary, you know,
Starting point is 00:22:12 but you know, it landed traffic drives me crazy. I know it does. And there's so much construction and so many people doing stupid things. You don't like that. You and you get nervous around the trucks. That's not that's that's a thing. Well, the trucks with the stuff that's in the back. That's not tied down. Well, I mean, that's what truck was flying out of the back and tools and whatever. No, I can't. Latters. Latters. I can go straight into your windshield. Well, listen, that's not
Starting point is 00:22:38 to mention, wait, who doesn't tie down a fucking ladder? I've seen it. I've seen stuff fly out too much. Assured. I'm driving home from South Carolina the other day, middle of the afternoon, and we are going a hundred miles per hour down 90-85 because that's exactly how fast you go. You have to go. Yeah. You have to go where people are going to get pissed off at you, right? So we're going about 90, you mean 100, but 90. And then all of a sudden, not to know where the people in the right lane are swarving over
Starting point is 00:23:02 into the left lane. And I mean fast, and it's happening happening quick and I'm right up on it. So luckily I'm paying attention. I swerve off into the median, the road median, not the grass median, but I swerve off into the road median and a gas, and a huge gas grill is in the middle of the right hand lane. And there's a guy parked about a quarter of a mile down, you know, scratching his head. Right. How do I get to that? And it's like, dude, when you have a gas fucking grill
Starting point is 00:23:26 in the back of your truck, don't drive 100 miles per hour down 9.85. No. And you know, my little brother and I did this one time, we put a gas grill in the back of this truck and we lost it on the highway. You know what of those? We were one of those,
Starting point is 00:23:39 well, we thought it was secure. Right, you think it's secure, but it's not. Yeah, if I just told you to keep driving, I'm like, I fuck it, I don't leave it. I don't want to bother. How do you pick a gas grill up off of the highway when you're going 100 miles per hour? How do you do that?
Starting point is 00:23:51 And that's the concern I have about a Tesla with it. Now they say you're supposed to keep your hands on the wheel at all times, like be paying attention. But we are human beings. We're not gonna pay a fuck, we're not gonna pay a fuck contention with something else that's driving. All it takes is five hours of autonomous driving
Starting point is 00:24:05 and you're going 100% comfortable that these things are making the right decisions on your behalf. Am I right? Yes, exactly. I mean, you know, I do the same thing with human beings. I trust my doctor within 10 minutes. If I walk into the emergency room
Starting point is 00:24:18 and have a broken leg and they have to do surgery, I'm gonna be like, oh, he's got a white coat. He knows. Well, he's smoking a meth pipe with his top off. That's free time. I know. They can trust these guy refractors. But Elon, you know, I think he-
Starting point is 00:24:34 Well, he offered the kid a five grand, apparently, to take it down. Come on, Elon. And the guy was like, what about 50? That'll help me pay for my college. And besides, this is all free information. And Elon was like, yeah, what about 50? That'll help me pay for my college. And besides, this is all free information. And Elon was like, no, never mind. I didn't pull the 5,000 sheep back.
Starting point is 00:24:52 What a cheap bastard. What one thing I thought was very interesting was the kid said that Drake's plane was the most interesting. Oh, I'm sure that is. The largest one. It's the largest plane. It's the largest, bigger than Elon's,
Starting point is 00:25:04 bigger than Bill Gates, bigger than Bezos. It's one. It's the largest plane. It's the largest, bigger than Elon's, bigger than Bill Gates, bigger than Bezos. It's crazy. It's a seven-fold seven. I had to link them to the story to just see about Drake's plane. How? And I think it's like, it was like $100 million for this plane.
Starting point is 00:25:17 Oh, then he's not flying a private plane. It seems. He's flying an actual carrier jet. It's huge. Like a Donald Trump type thing. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's when you know you're fucking rich. That's what I thought. That's huge. Like a Donald Trump type thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:25 That's when you know you're fucking rich. That's when you know you're fucking rich. Wow. I wish. You know that much money. Yeah. By that plane, just to spend on the plane. Do you know how much it works?
Starting point is 00:25:34 And the maintenance. The maintenance alone and the staff. Yeah. Well usually what these guys do is they rent it out when they're not using it. Okay. So they use it for charter because you know those planes they're built to just keep going. I mean think about a plane that you take anywhere wherever you, you know, land it on Miami.
Starting point is 00:25:49 That thing is going to land into Miami almost 24 hours a day for years, except to get out for regular maintenance. That's what they're built for. They're built to never stop flying. Yeah. Tens of thousands of hours they put on these things. So when you have a, when you're Drake and you're flying, even if you're flying once a week, twice a week, three times a week,
Starting point is 00:26:05 that plane is meant to be flying every 15 minutes somewhere else. So other people are ready to fly. So you rented out. That's right. Yeah. I mean, if I was that rich, let's say, let's just make it a song. Let's go in on a plane together. Let's go in on a plane together. That's what I'm saying. Or one of those like gold elite jet, you know, super jet packages. Packages. You spend, you know, you drop 25 grand a month, and that gets you, you know, a flight from here to Savannah every three months.
Starting point is 00:26:35 I've one time, I've flown private before. I know, I have two. With a friend who had one of those memberships, and she lived in New York, she could afford her company paid for it, it was a whole thing, right? And so on a few trips that I went on, she put me on these private charters. Now, it's a private charter, so you're not by yourself. It's not like I'm flying in a jet by myself in New York. There are other people that are
Starting point is 00:26:56 going with you. And you have a membership card and you say, I want to fly to New York and they say, okay, well, we have seven other people that are going at eight o'clock. Can you go then, right? So that's how it works. And if, and sometimes people are on the planes and sometimes they're not, well, each time there was someone on the plane, but I'm telling you what, this is the fucking way to go. Yes it is. Flying private is the way it is.
Starting point is 00:27:16 It's just beautiful. It's so nice. You don't bother by anybody. There's like, at the TSA, it's just. You get your own airport check-in area, like you don't go through the main service. They don't bother you. They just say hi, they know your name, hi Mr. Green, and they say hi,
Starting point is 00:27:32 and they say congratulations on the chart rankings. And I say, yeah, thanks very much. I don't wanna make a big stink about it or anything. So just keep it down a little bit. You know, number 14. But, ah, and you know, down a little bit, number 14. And let's make the assumption that you and I, we go to the top of the very top.
Starting point is 00:27:52 Number one comedy. Number one comedy. Months Centurero. Yes. And Sputify comes a knockin' or Clear Changle or whoever. Who knock? Right, they come. Clear Changle.
Starting point is 00:28:04 Missed a green. That's me. It's Tangle. Miss, Tuck it in. That's me. It's me, Mr. Sputify. Indeed. Come in, Mr. Sputify. Thank you, sir. Would you like a go? Are you solving a mystery?
Starting point is 00:28:15 Yes, I am. Solving a mystery. How much money will it take for you to come over to Sputify exclusively? Well, we're doing pretty well over here now as it is. We're, I think we're clocking in two to seven dollars a day. So let me run my math calculator real quick. Let's say you offer us a thousand dollar advance and a three hundred
Starting point is 00:28:39 dollars a year. That's me think. I've run the numbers, Mr. Green. We've decided to give you three times what Joe Rogan is because your value to our company is clearly that much. All 72 listeners are gonna come. All 73 listeners, eh? Let me give you a $500 million advance right now.
Starting point is 00:28:58 I like it. Thank you. This is on our Vision board. This is what we do for number 56 in the improv comedy charts. We don't want to miss an opportunity to work with a rising star. Well thank you Mr. Sputify for noticing. I'll have to take it to my partner. Chrissy. I come back to you and I say, Chrissy, Mr. Sputify said $500 million advance is what we're gonna get. Would we go in on a plane together or would we rather just have a membership where we could just call up whenever we want?
Starting point is 00:29:26 No, that's interesting. Now, here's the advantages to having your own plane. We have your own plane, usually have your own staff. That's the reason why you rent it out, too, is because you got to hire the pilot and all that other stuff. So let's say that we need to get a staff for your four pilots that are on call 24 hours a day
Starting point is 00:29:40 so that at our back-and-call, we can go back and forth to wherever we need to go. Now that we're broadcasting out of the Cayman Islands, and we've got, yeah. We do need to get our office down there. We do. That's the only place we'll record now. The safest place to record now that we're so popular.
Starting point is 00:29:55 Would you spend money on a plane if you could? Sure. Sure. Yeah. You would. Yeah. That and a chef. A chef. I like that idea And a driver would have the top five things that we need once we get Joe Rogan's contract
Starting point is 00:30:11 We do I think we do need some kind of private plane access. Well, we were gonna go on tour Oh, yeah, that's true. The country so we definitely need the plane I have seven people in Oklahoma are clamoring for the commercial break to complete those big theaters Seven people in Oklahoma are clamoring for the commercial break to complete those big theaters Would we paint it would we wrap it? Yeah, of course we'd have a T.C. V logo. Yeah, I'd we'd have like Yeah The the B to you plane I Could see like our heads like our like Like it's an old like junky plane
Starting point is 00:30:46 From like the seventies and we hired this drug running place. Yeah. And we hired the world's worst rapper. And I don't mean rapper, like rapper, I mean the guy that wraps the plane to a rabbit and my balls are in, it's just like a picture of my crotch. One of your tits is huge. And then our faces are all distorted.
Starting point is 00:31:03 Like, ah, it sounds perfect. One of your tips is huge and our faces are all distorted like Sounds perfect It just spews out Slap smoke as it goes along It doesn't have chairs inside we have two lawn chairs and we bring on When we want champagne we get Kendall Jackson wine and tonic water. Shake it. Yeah. Nothing but the best for you, Mr. Green.
Starting point is 00:31:35 I'm sorry your American express has been declined again. We do have this plane to offer you. However. Oh, that's good. Yeah You do it. We don't have any chairs and I have to bring your own. It's okay, jeeps He's lawn chairs with me are like this dating him see This stadium sees where you put him down. Yeah We're carrying him around with it like a two two pack. We got to carry them off together.
Starting point is 00:32:06 Those are brand and TCB as well. Yeah, those are brand, of course. We're going to, we'll just get one of those stickers that we have too many of and just throw them on there. What if we just wrapped our sticker? We've just wrapped our plane with all the stickers that we've bought. I love it. Our pilot is like Papa Jerry. He's blind in one eye. He's 93.
Starting point is 00:32:34 Do you have a pilot license, sir? I wouldn't be surprised if that man did. Yeah, I don't. But I did spend the night at the holiday and last night. We'd be at the airport and they'd be like, calling for volunteers, calling for volunteers to fly the commercial Blake plane. No experience required.
Starting point is 00:32:55 Yes. Well, you know, we're a wish in a dream. That's right. Everybody has wishes. I'm like, it goal, hashtag goals. Hashtag life goals. Have to hashtag Rogan goals. Chrissy sent me, Mon,
Starting point is 00:33:11 and probably one of the most amazing things that I've been able to lay my eyes on. This is just the part that I'm really excited about today's episode. Liz. Okay, so years ago Liz and I had a
Starting point is 00:35:23 Marketing agency was actually hers and she brought me on, and I realized quickly after coming onto work, that things could take a side turn sometimes, you know? We might go to see a client, and then we're out on the patio doing shots later, and it turned into a two-ay party on a Monday. So, but she was a good friend, but a really good saleswoman. And she had, you know, in Atlanta, Ari had amassed a good little collection of clients.
Starting point is 00:35:55 And one of those clients was a hotel in the area that happened to, you know, it was kind of like an okay hotel. It was a rat check. It was a rat check. So the one down, it was near one of the colleges here. And yeah, we did some marketing for them as in like, you know, Google ad words and collecting phone numbers and recording calls. Or where are you?
Starting point is 00:36:23 It's a question. We learn, you know, a little while after we've been working with them, we learn that they're going to be on the show and maybe our listeners are part of it. Hotel impossible. Yeah. Yeah. So it's a guy.
Starting point is 00:36:37 He goes around. It's on the travel channel, right? The bald guy. Yeah, Ken Murmys name. Short bald guy. I don't know. He's got a ton of energy though. Yeah. He's like a famous hotelier.
Starting point is 00:36:46 He is the, he's the Gordon Ramsay of hotels. It's basically what he's like. Yes. Like, and he goes and transforms these hotels that are underperforming and maybe not doing so well. And there's a show about it. And they go to different cities and towns and things that they were hearing at Atlanta at our clients hotel. Anthony Mella Rochi or something like that, okay?
Starting point is 00:37:06 Anthony, definitely, it was his name. Because we, yeah. We love you. So my friend Liz and I prepare for this, you know, they wanted to have the marketing team come, be a part of the show, kind of the show what we're doing. Interesting. We're doing a good job.
Starting point is 00:37:21 We're thinking we're doing a good job. Okay, so let me, let me slow down. I'm gonna get through this piece by piece because I'm in chronological order, okay? So you and Liz, you guys, she owns a marketing company, you're helping her out. You're doing some side work for Liz. Liz is doing like basically outbound marketing
Starting point is 00:37:36 to try and get reservations and clients into this hotel. This hotel is a total shit show. I watched the entire episode of this hotel impossible. This is years ago, this we're talking like eight years. The people were super nice. Oh yeah, they're very nice hotel impossible. This is years ago, this was talking like eight years ago. The people were super nice. Oh yeah, they're very nice. And it wasn't our fault, it was run down. Of course.
Starting point is 00:37:49 We were just trying to help them get more business so they could have money to not make it run down. Your job is not to renovate the hotel. Your job is to bring people in the door, but the place is really, it's really a stankhole. At that time, there was a stankhole. I mean, it was, I mean, they had an infestation of rats in the ceiling of these rooms. Yeah, it was, I mean, they had an infestation of rats in the ceiling.
Starting point is 00:38:05 I didn't know that. Of these worms, yeah, it was gross. Okay, so, but they do seem like nice people. And I think things have changed just to be fair to them after this guy. Anthony shows up. So, the whole premise of Hotel Impossible is like a Gordon Ramsay show. He goes in there, he points out everything that's wrong, he's the expert, and he's going to change everything by whipping the, you know, by...
Starting point is 00:38:26 It's like a hotel rescue. The other is bar rescue with a taper. Okay. So how long has this client been Liz's client? Okay, I would say for about a year, maybe two. Okay, and you were hired not by the owners, but by the marketing director, who was also the manager,
Starting point is 00:38:43 who was also the like night shift. She was doing everything. She was like, clueless. Right, she was trying, but she was, she had a lot of, she was clueless. Let's just be honest about it. And poor girl, she was clueless. Love you, whoever you are.
Starting point is 00:38:55 I'm sure she's not there anymore. Okay, so at some point, you get a phone call from this lady or from the producers of the show. Liz does. No, from the client. No, from the client. Okay, from the client. And the client says, we have this. We've decided to participate in hotel impossible.
Starting point is 00:39:10 And they want, they, the producers want you to come on to. Oh, I bet they do. And come on and tell. That is true, you are. Show them the water. What you've been doing with, to help them. Okay. So we are like, okay, we're
Starting point is 00:39:25 are too much notice to give you. It was maybe like a week. Okay, a week. And are you on this account? Is that why she wants you to come or she wants you to come for backup? She was we. Morel support, like we both kind of handled it. I would do some parts of it. She would do the other side. Anyways, we run all these reports. We're like, we're doing great. We, I mean, a stack stack of printed reports. We're ready. We're dressed to success. We go get our hair done that day. The day the success went 24, Michelov ultra sedu. Well, that happened later. Okay. But let me, let me ask, let me ask. So do you,
Starting point is 00:40:01 so does she tell you, does she prepare you in any way for this television show or does she just say literally, you're going to show up in this meeting and be on camera? Yeah, that's what it was. And my recollection, which is fuzzy because we did have some things. Oh my God, I know you. So I know the smile on your face is half because you're photogenic and you want to make
Starting point is 00:40:21 a good impression on the camera. And maybe we'll put a link to this. I do not want to show the video because I fear that we'll get copyright noticed and then we've just wasted our time for YouTube. But I know from the video of knowing both of you ladies, you much more than I know Liz. Right. But I know from the video I can tell from the moment you walk in the door. You two are shit. Well, we got really nervous yeah of course and we were supposed to be there to a certain time but they're running late so you had to kill some time we had to kill some time making you more nervous right giving you
Starting point is 00:40:58 more opportunity to drink more shots yes that's where we come in. Oh, and the other thing was that we went into the hotel to check in and say hello. They're having wine. It's like wine hour at the hotel. Okay. We have a little bit of wine. We have a little bit of beer. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:41:17 And that's that. Yeah. What did you meet with any of the producers ahead of time? I think I was sweating a little bit. Oh, I bet. Yeah. This is what it made me nervous. Did you meet with any of the producers ahead of time? I think I was sweating a little bit. Yeah. This would have made me nervous. Did you meet with any producers ahead of time? No. Literally just walk into this room. Cold with Aunt Thin. That's it. The cameras are going to be on you walk in. So they prep you in no
Starting point is 00:41:32 way shape or form. They are ready to jump on you. Yeah. This guy Anthony, you probably, in case you haven't seen the show and I've seen it once or twice. I think I've seen it before I watched the episode last night. This guy's like four foot two. He's got a bald head. He dresses super slick. He's not as mean as Gordon Ramsay, but he's sharp. And he's ready to tell you what he thinks because personalities that don't do that on television don't have successful television shows.
Starting point is 00:41:57 Exactly. Of course you're going to yell a little. Yeah, of course. And you two are the stool pigeons. Because the way that it is set up, it's Anthony's talking to this lady who's doing everything under the sun and the hotel including changing the dirty laundry.
Starting point is 00:42:09 Right. I mean, this lady looks like she had been hit by a bus with and then was a deer in the headlights. Like both of those things at the same time. She literally looks like information passes from one ear to the other without ever touching anything. Well, that was how I think it was the camera. You know, I'm even thinking she was freaking freaked out. I, that was how I think it was the camera.
Starting point is 00:42:25 You know, I'm even thinking she was freaking freaked out. I bet she was. She looked it. She looked it. Because he kept asking her questions. She'd be like, yeah. No. She gave one word answer.
Starting point is 00:42:36 She would have been gone too. So he says, you know, how are you booking the hotel? Right. How are you doing anymore? Yeah. She lost the biggest client, which was Emory University. She lost the biggest client, or they lost the biggest client, because of the service and the staff and the hotel's general condition.
Starting point is 00:42:51 He says, how are you trying to get it back? And she says, well, we hired this marketing company. And he says, who's this marketing company? And she says the name of the marketing company. And he's like, and how much are you paying them? And she says, just remember, this is important. $2,500 a month. And he's like, holy shit, $30,000 a year.
Starting point is 00:43:07 What are they doing? And she's like, search engine optimization and stuff. And he's like, and stuff, what is and stuff? And she's like, like, they do ad words, and they also have a website. And they do lots of good stuff for us. And he goes, how many, for that $2,500 a month, how much extra revenue are you getting?
Starting point is 00:43:23 And she's like, I don't know. And he says, did a report and she goes I don't think so not yet. We can't What it was report what you made away by the way these clients could log on anytime and our defense could log on anytime To a specific website that did have all the leads coming in and would record the calls and you could see But that was the marketing director's job was to see if it's turned into bookings. Okay, fair enough, fair enough. I'd like to now present to you. I gotta be honest. I've hit myself out there on this one.
Starting point is 00:43:55 I know, well, hey, it's not as bad as 33p, just know that. Okay, here it is. I'd like to present to you the audio of travel channels, hotel impossible, starring Chrissy Hodeley and her friend Liz. It's not a real name, case you guessed. Now it's time to meet the company that's marketing the hotel.
Starting point is 00:44:14 Okay, look at that. What the fuck is going on? Is it like a shoot out of the okay crowd? Oh, dude. Now it's time to meet the two drunk girls who are handling all the reservations for them. We've been getting them all wound up with the wine and cheese party.
Starting point is 00:44:33 Yeah. That's, they wanted that. They knew it. They were like, oh, they, they somewhat smell that I'm looking for breath. I was like, get them into the bar immediately. This is gonna be the best boat telepossible yet. Don't say a fucking word, give them a tab.
Starting point is 00:44:47 Did they give you a tab at the bar? No. Did they? Uh-uh. You had to pay for it? No, it's free. Of course it was, yes. It's probably only for you.
Starting point is 00:44:54 They were probably like, for whatever they want, for free. Keep it coming, double up. Shirley tells me the in paid them $30,000 last year. So I wanna see if they're're getting your money's worth. You can't believe it. It's the nature of my family. I've seen.
Starting point is 00:45:09 So how's my friend Shirley doing? Shirley, relax, Shirley. Depends on. I said we'd love to. I'm Shirley doing. Yeah, that was what. What? What?
Starting point is 00:45:18 Oh my god, we were so nervous. You guys are already off the skating. You're like, oh yeah. Where's the camera? There's cameras in your face, lights. There's. You guys are already off the skating. You're like, oh yeah. Where's the camera? There's cameras in your face, lights. There's the guy that we know is going to yell at us. We were trying to be prepared and also calm our nerves. I'm sure we love him.
Starting point is 00:45:35 She's got nice glasses. We love her. Oh, I love you, man. I love you. This is awesome. This is just awesome. We're going to be playing this forever. Let me ask.. I love you. This is awesome. This is just awesome. We're gonna be playing this for you. Let me ask.
Starting point is 00:45:47 I'm asking you. Um, I think there's still a business. Ha ha ha ha. Ha ha ha ha. Ha ha ha. Ha ha ha. Ha ha ha ha. How do you think there's a business?
Starting point is 00:45:58 How do you think there is? She says, well, I think there's still a business. She looks like she's breathing. I guess shit's okay. Can we go now? Is the wine still free? Please just got, this has got such liquid courage going on right now. She is ready to fight.
Starting point is 00:46:20 She doesn't give a shit. She's like, well, it's like $2,500 what do I care right if I were you I would have never shut up for this meeting I would have said I'm sorry surely we can't deal with you anymore it might be good publicity for the agency but it was the opposite of course this is the worst publicity you could have don't hire those two. They look good, but they're ready to. It didn't help too, that Liz drives a BMW. I'm full of empathy. Oh my God, this is already classic.
Starting point is 00:46:57 Why are you here? Because they're in trouble. Jessica seems to have. Why are you here? Who's asking the questions? Liz. Why are you here? Why are you here? Who's asking the questions? Liz. Why are you here? Why are you here?
Starting point is 00:47:07 I'm doing a TV show. What are you doing? I'm not entirely sure. But I'm ready to fight. Why are you here? They want to know how you're doing. That's why you're here. You've had a week to pick this one for.
Starting point is 00:47:23 You feeling it? So what are we doing to book more business? We're trying to work organically. That's what I'm starting with. That's what I've been working with. What is it mean? It means that. I mean, not to be smart, but because I've been in the industry for 10 years, I can run ad words, I can run SEO, I can do social platforms, anything that you need.
Starting point is 00:47:39 I can lift a truck, I can put my pants on with one hand. I can read with my eyes closed. What else you want? I know you jackass, keep it coming. She's so pissed. She's already, she's just egging for a face. I've been in the business, which business is that? Hotel year?
Starting point is 00:48:00 No, organic, what is organic? I don't know. I can walk a straight line. I can say my ABCs. I've been known to breathe on occasion. Come on, bring it on. Give me more. She's ready. Oh, yeah, she's totally ready. Oh my god. And I'm like, I'm watching the two of them interact and I was like, we're in church. I know. Holy yeah, I can see the look on your face.
Starting point is 00:48:22 You got this smile plaster on your face. But get me out of here. But wait, don't worry. I hope these the look on your face. You got this smile plaster on your face or get me out of here But wait, don't worry. I'll be moment to shine is coming Not agree. Hold on we'll get there need a dude to bring lead gen, but then we're gonna put tracking on top of any of that lead gen To the untrained here a K. Surely this big list of buzzwords, my- To a dipshit aka Shirley! Where do I sign? But to me, I understand, she's full of shit!
Starting point is 00:48:57 This is like, I could put tracking on top, but I could do a double X. I got a sandbox with CSS code and FFS grip HTTPS www.go fuck yourself calm She said nothing. Oh, no, I know Oh, I've been but listen she's nervous and I get it. I'm not trying to knock Liz I understand that Liz is nervous You know whenever you work in these services is this these marketing services business? You're way expendable you're if you're a marketing consultant or an agency or whatever Yeah, there's always client fatigue,
Starting point is 00:49:25 which means they get over you real quick when they realize you didn't solve every problem they ever had with generating revenue. But this guy is right, Liz is just like shooting words at him. And he's looking like this. And Shirley, meanwhile, she's just got her head cocked with a smile. She's like, well, I guess I should've been paying more attention.
Starting point is 00:49:46 But I was too busy back in the room, 123 after the murder last night. I was too busy feeding the rat. It sound great. But to me, it's just a smoke screen that needs to be cut through. It lays right there. Cut through. Unfortunately, that smoke screen that needs to be cut through. Who likes right here? Yeah, cut through. Unfortunately, that smoke screen is drowning in vodka. Tell me what you guys do.
Starting point is 00:50:14 Here's what we do right here. Qualt tracking. Okay. Reputation management. Okay. Okay. Reputation management. You see how great?
Starting point is 00:50:22 Okay, great. These guys are doing it. Reputation management. You see how great. Okay, great. These guys are doing it Okay Another $500 never gonna see I Also have it in this business for 10 years SEO for me to Submit your website to a directory
Starting point is 00:50:47 You're gonna be flush with reservations You've never seen so much business the world wide web get hit with it We're gonna put your name all over reddit. You're gonna be famous Reputation management Five stars Reputation management. So tell his great five stars on Yahoo.com. Oh my God. Oh, man, this guy he's on to you guys. He's on. I've seen.
Starting point is 00:51:16 I also have been in this business. An advertisement created design for the letterhead for the email marketing. We do all the copy interactive linking social platform stuff and make sure that it's generating revenue to the business. Sounds great. Yeah. Sounds great. Good plan.
Starting point is 00:51:32 Where do I sign? How much? That's a deal. That's a bargain. Look at all this stuff. I'm going to fill all the rooms. That's surely. Surely.
Starting point is 00:51:42 Surely is, I got to imagine that any other meeting that happened was surely without the cameras went something like this Liz was like look at this list that you this is what I do and she throws down a piece of paper And it's got a bunch of phone calls and surely it's like oh Like I guess we're doing great. It's not really reflected in the revenue, but maybe it's gonna come Great. It's not really reflected in the revenue, but maybe it's gonna come. Right, and then you guys were like, we love you Shirley. You're the best. You want to go for class of wine, Shirley? That's right. It's great. Yeah. We're thinking about opening your budget to $3,000 a month because we think at $2,500 or doing this much, but $3,000, you're gonna kill Shirley.
Starting point is 00:52:24 The rich girl's in Scotland got nothing on you, Shirley. A 3000. You're gonna be a travel in leisure's top 10 hotels. And the world inside the city of Atlanta near Emory. On Emory Street, yes. Can you have any reports of what the 30,000 that Paige Irving last told months generated to their hotel?
Starting point is 00:52:50 We do. Oh, we had the reports boom. Did you have that? I know. She slapped a big piece of paper. What was that? I know. That was all the calls.
Starting point is 00:52:59 That was all the calls. But now those calls were generated from your work. Are those calls you were just tracking the call system altogether? Tracking. Okay, just tracking. We were generated from your work or those calls you were just tracking the call system altogether. Tracking. Okay, just tracking. We were also doing some organic stuff. I get it. It's $2,500.
Starting point is 00:53:12 It's not going to get your miracles in that hole. It's really not. I mean, that's like, you know, maybe you get a couple extra phone calls a month. Yeah. And that would make physical sense if you were booking out the hotel at $500 a night. Right. But, you know, we're hotel at $500 a night. Right. But, you know, we're gonna track all your calls, Shirley. We're gonna take credit for them.
Starting point is 00:53:29 Don't you worry. We're gonna track your calls. Look how many calls you got last month, Shirley. And she's like, wow, that's my husband. That's my son. That's Uber Eats. Okay, can I just look at it? Sure. So this is basically every single phone call that's coming over the past month.
Starting point is 00:53:55 I asked her how much business she brought in and she gives me a list of phone calls. Why can't she just give me an answer? Because she doesn't have a great one. How much business did you bring? This many. I'll tell you what, you write down a number and I'll write down a number, we'll slide it across to each other
Starting point is 00:54:17 and we'll see if we're close. Yes. That's proprietary company information. Oh, yeah. I can't give that away here on national television. But I'd be happy to have a follow-up conversation with you. Never. Surely we're fired.
Starting point is 00:54:30 Can we reschedule this meeting? Now? Can we reschedule it for a different day? And the wine and cheese party. Is that still going on? Listen, I'd love to sit here and gab all day with you. But I've got a wine and cheese party to attend downstairs. Here's the report.
Starting point is 00:54:44 Here's the report. Here's the report. Yeah, here's all the phone calls someone made. You look him over. Yeah. Did they turn into business? That was an extra cost to see with our, what? God, that's a racket.
Starting point is 00:54:57 You want to listen to the calls too? Well, listen to the calls. Yeah, to know if we turn into business. Oh. Because that's what the marketing person of the client was supposed to be doing. But they don't. They don't.
Starting point is 00:55:11 Of course they don't. Well, listen to your calls for an extra $1,000 a month. And find a list that I meet day per cord and put on a server somewhere. For you to review in case Anthony shows up here on a tell. It's $2500 is a lot of money. I mean, that's what I paid New York City for my hotels. I want, I demand, reservations.
Starting point is 00:55:33 $2500 comes out of their bank account. It goes to you. I'm not completely satisfied that money's been justified. For $2500, what would you... You tell me, I don't know, I'm asking. I need to know. I need to know. I don't know I need to know I need to know I need no additional information Don't try and get one over on me
Starting point is 00:55:52 Oh, it did he's on there. She's just like she's but she stands she does she stands and I'm not saying forward No, let me be good be clear I'm not saying Liz did not do any work for the $2,500. I'm saying that this is a tough space to try and justify yourself. And for $2,500, that's not really doing anybody a whole lot of good. It's going to do some good, but it's not going to do a hotel that's in this much trouble is not going to get turned around by $2,500 a month. You need to hire Anthony full time. What you think is a fair number?
Starting point is 00:56:21 Here's what I think is fair. Rooms at the end are about a hundred thousand per night. So when it's justified, they're salary. They need to book at least 25 additional rooms per month. I read the story report for race and eye cases. There's not even, I don't care what the story part says. I don't care what the story part says. Well, that's our report.
Starting point is 00:56:39 I don't know what that is. I don't know what that is. They're all the calls somebody made. Somewhere. This is the White Pages. Take a look at it. Somebody called us, we know it the calls somebody made somewhere. This is the white pages. Take a look at it, somebody called us, we know it. We figured it out. I put a check mark next to all the calls.
Starting point is 00:56:50 For an extra $2,000 a month, we'll put a check mark in the white pages. I don't care what the star report says. I know she doesn't care. She's taking it. Obviously she does not. Well, I mean, you know, she cares, but yes. She cares, but yeah, but then again,
Starting point is 00:57:05 I work in commercial real estate. I don't see how the star report was gonna help. Anybody do anything, it's a, yeah, okay, anyway. You want your star report shows? Overall, all sources of reservations. It's like your comparison apples to refrigerators. What, what, she saying all forces of reservations. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:57:26 Is she trying to use the force on him? It was my house. I know. You look so lonely. Oh, my God. Did you say anything during this time, or did you just let her roll? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:37 Because obviously she's like, yeah. She rolled her stuff right down the hill. She rolled herself and probably the best confrontation this television show has ever seen. She's like the star report shows all forces apples and refrigerators. Do you mind if I smoke a cigarette? Is this smoking room? Is it hot? Is it hot near it?
Starting point is 00:57:59 It doesn't mean. I need to keep bringing it up. But is the wine and cheese party still going up? Well, it's occupancy. Doesn't matter. Occupancy is the hotel's business. And she tells it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. What matter are you doing?
Starting point is 00:58:19 I'm not with you on that one, Liz. I love you. But I'm not with you on that one. It doesn't matter. I think it might. It doesn't matter. I'm just with you on that one, Liz. I love you, but I'm not with you on that one. It doesn't matter. I think it might. It doesn't matter. I'm just trying to understand, don't get defensive, because you can be doing an extraordinary job,
Starting point is 00:58:33 and you could only be in the preservation by a thousand percent. I don't. It's the setup. Okay. This is a setup. Is it music? Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun. This is a setup from the beginning.
Starting point is 00:58:46 You stabbed me in the back, Shirley. Call me when you've got some maturity. This is a setup. This is a setup. This is a setup. This is a setup. I'm doing a shitty job. You called me out on it.
Starting point is 00:59:02 It's a setup. Oh my God. It's a setup. Oh My god Actually, I think I think I think Liz is doing a good job of deflecting the worst of the piece so confused Actually talked everybody in circles and he's trying to calm down. He's like go get defensive Yeah, he's trying to calm down. He's like, don't get defensive. No, he can see. Yeah, he's blowing up. He's like, well, let me go into my wife's toolkit and see what I can pull out. I'm going to tell you right now, there is no set. I am asking honest questions. If you answer honestly, no problem, you think I was a measure. It was a measure. And why? There it is. There you go. You got it was a measure lesser And why?
Starting point is 00:59:47 There it is there you got you got the whole story right there Well, it's additional for the track for us to measure it We only told her we give her a list of phone calls somebody made that's it. That's all we're supposed to do we got it my point was never measured We got it. My point was never measured. Boom, there it is. It's the explosion. Yeah, I exploded. I had to these heads about to pop off a show.
Starting point is 01:00:11 And she's like, oh Jesus Christ, what I can myself into. How are we gonna edit this? These producers are probably like, this is good, but we're gonna have extra hours in the editing room tonight. I'm gonna land at the University and meeting with a marketing company called Shabdell. Yeah, I did.
Starting point is 01:00:26 I did. This hotel has given them $30,000. And they're giving us attitude. I'm not gonna compare another and you're not comfortable with. Absolutely uncomfortable, it's not fair. It's not fair. It's not fair to ask me to justify my $2,500 spent.
Starting point is 01:00:41 I'm uncomfortable. That's not fair. I'm not comfortable. I've got sweat rings. You see that? That. I'm uncomfortable. I'm not there. I'm not comfortable. I've got sweat rings. You see that? That means I'm uncomfortable. That means you've got to go. I'm here to make you look bad or to make
Starting point is 01:00:52 your company look bad. What I've been here to do is to help this young lady. I think that we need to be able to justify the $2,500 every month. So I would like a report to show me where we stand. Okay. I agree. Not agreed.
Starting point is 01:01:09 I thought that was a fair thing. We're getting the work on some accountability here for $25 a month. Do you agree? Did you? I said yes. I agree. And she pips it and goes, no. I do not agree. I said, I agree I thought you said not and goes no
Starting point is 01:01:33 That sounds better can I get out of here and out please agree? I don't want to have to prove I'm doing work. I was like, yes, let's agree, get out of here. Oh my God, she is trying so desperately to come off like the winner in this situation. She wants to, I bet in her, because we've all been there. Yeah. When you get that liquid courage. She exactly. You think things are going a lot better
Starting point is 01:01:56 than they actually are. It's like you're talking to an officer when you're drunk. And you're like, I got this. No officer, I know my rights. I just saw you murder somebody. That doesn't mean you're gonna arrest me. So talk to my attorney. Do you know who you're messing with?
Starting point is 01:02:11 That's like I was a refrigerator. That's a couple of refrigerators. It's common saying here in North of Atlanta. Don't put that in there, not agree. We don't agree with that, but cool. Okay, what cool? Not agree, but okay, I guess. I just wanted to fight with you one last time.
Starting point is 01:02:29 She went to the camera and says, don't put that in there. Oh, she said, don't put that in there. And it's not all tough, but that they're not agreed. They're not agreed. Cut. It's like, oh my god. Can we do that scene again? Yeah. Oh my god. Liz, I love God. Can we do that scene again? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:45 Oh my God. Lea, I love you. You're a cheater. I understood, but not agree. There's a difference. No, there's not. Understood, but not agreed. But I, but I think so.
Starting point is 01:03:01 But I don't think so. I just want you to know that. I think so, but not really't think so. I just want you to know that. I think so, but not really. Not agree. Not agree. Did I out of that? You wanna do another take? Is that enough?
Starting point is 01:03:13 Converting. These producers could not have asked for a better interaction. I mean, that was like a fuck. Okay, two more minutes. Okay, this meeting has gone off the rails. That's an understatement, bro. That's an understatement.
Starting point is 01:03:30 It wasn't agreed. It was. Understood, but not agreed. I'm like, just Liz. I'm like, and then I start going, ha! You're like, ha! You're stuck in some loop. You're like, I just want to leave! Oh, second of nightmare!
Starting point is 01:03:52 Tape in scenario! Oh my god! Oh my god, I can't even imagine being in this meeting. I don't know what I would do. It was so uncomfortable. I probably would have been like, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, Liz! You need to leave. I would have told her to leave. I would have been like, you're just looking for, hey, Liz. You need to leave. I would have told her to leave.
Starting point is 01:04:06 I would have been like, you're just looking for trouble here. I would have said it exactly like it is. But why don't you agree with? I just don't agree, I mean. Okay, show me, show me, show me, let me. I just don't agree. What else do you want? Are we still fighting?
Starting point is 01:04:18 What are you not agree with? I just don't. You don't have makeup sex. Are you single? I just don't, I just don't want to agree. have makeup sex. Are you single? I just don't. I just don't want to agree. I bet Liz is a handful date. Oh yeah, you know it.
Starting point is 01:04:31 She's a handful of the friends. That's true. That's true. A couple times I've been with her. I've been on the right side of her, but I wouldn't want to be on the wrong side. That's right. Because this is what you get. I just don't.
Starting point is 01:04:40 Why don't you agree with? I just don't. I just don't. And I'm not going to. You're in trouble the rest of your life. Make a neutral statement then. I am hired by the owner of this company to represent them as a consultant. I have to justify $30,000 expense,
Starting point is 01:04:52 so I would like a report card that I can read. Okay. What do you get when a plane crash treats a train ride? You get Liz. And they're marketing company. Oh my God. This is where we're wrapping up the meeting. I believe if my memory is that you're right. And then it could the here we get a white BMW. Okay. Charlie, thank you. Yeah, that's, that's a, oh, that's, she's like, surely, thank you. I know we're fine, but thank you.
Starting point is 01:05:30 It was good to talk to you. It was. I know we're getting a season to system letter after this, but I'm sure your lawyers are going to be in such. Surely I'm sure our lawyer, I'm sure your lawyers are going to call us. Thank you. When you spend that kind of money on a company, you deserve real answers.
Starting point is 01:05:47 The behavior that I saw in that meeting was unacceptable. They can't justify $30,000. The only thing that's property should drop their contract. Okay, now they're pulling out. Here she's yelling, hold on. She's yelling. Here we go, he's on the phone. We're being called Anthony. She says, don't worry worry we're not pulling out because we love Anthony
Starting point is 01:06:13 And she peels out this is the craziest thing I've ever seen guys I'm gonna link this you To go watch this This is classic Chrissy holey, but Chrissy really has nothing to do with this actually She's almost completely out of the picture except for being in the picture. She's like in the picture, but she's saying nothing Chrissy when I watch this I was I actually the first it's about five minutes long the first three minutes I couldn't get my headphones to work so I was reading the captions and Even just reading the captions. Yeah, I know I've had those were really new. You knew what a nightmare this was already. When he says plane plane crash train wreck, he's right. That's a hell of a meeting. Yeah, we we
Starting point is 01:06:55 were feeling out of there. I think I gotta go home. I think she got drunk and ready for a fight. Yeah. And she caused one. Right. You probably just could have had a very contrite meeting or you would have been like, well listen, they're not doing all that well. Yeah. And she hasn't been tracking the phone. You know, it's kind of our fault is kind of her fault. You know, what can we do better? Right? Instead. That's where I agreed. Yeah. And then she cut it and said, no, agree. That's gonna be a drop in this program for the rest of her life. Do you still talk to Liz? I do. On occasions, she's moved out of the area.
Starting point is 01:07:26 Thank God. After that. You might want to tell her not to listen to this episode. Oh my gosh. Only on TCB. Yeah. Only on TCB. You make a hotel impossible.
