Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to Comedy Central. When 60 Minutes premiered in September 1968, there was nothing like it. This is 60 Minutes. It's a kind of a magazine for television. Very few have been given access to the treasures in our archives. But that's all about to change. Like none of this stuff gets looked at. That's what's incredible. I'm Seth Done of CBS News. Listen to 60 Minutes, a second look, starting September 17th, wherever you get your podcasts. I am always intrigued by people who want like rappers to perform, but
Starting point is 00:00:39 they want the clean versions of the songs. Mostly because I'm always fascinated by the people who are listening to the clean version. and like, like, do they just not know to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the 60 minutes the 60 minutes the 60 minutes the 60 minutes the 60 minutes the 60 minutes the 60 minutes the 60 minutes the 60 minutes the 60 minutes the 60 minutes the the 60 minutes the the the the the the the the the the the the the the 60 minutes the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the their their their their their their their their thi thi thi minutes thi minutes, thi minutes, thiii-60 minutes, thi-60 minutes, thii. 60 minutes, thi. 60 minutes, thi. 60 minutes their their their their their their versions of the songs. Mostly because I'm always fascinated by the people who are listening to the clean version. And like do they just not know what's going on there? Like, so, like, are there some people at these events where like a rapper comes and performs? And like he's got lude lyrics. And then the rapper's up there and is like, I stick my in her, and she knows that it's like, and I know that, and then all there, some people in the audience are like, I wonder what he's sticking. I wonder, I wonder,
Starting point is 00:01:11 I wonder, like, what do you think is happening in the song? Like what? Clean versions of hip hop songs are such a strange concepts to me. Why would you want hip-up, just, just, just, just, the hip, the the the the the the to, the the the to to the to the the the to to thapp?, thapp, thuip, thu, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, thi, thus, tho, tho, tho, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, I'm, I tho, I tho, I tho, I tho, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I tho, I tho, I tho, I tho, I tho, I tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thoan, thoan, thoan, thoan, thoan, like, like, thin, like, like, thin, like,. I like hip-hop a lot. I just don't like some of the things they say. Which parts? You know the cussing, you know, yeah. Just like the lude sexual acts. Other than that, I love hip-hop.
Starting point is 00:01:33 You sure you don't like country? No, no, I don't like hip-hop. I like hip-h-hursing is not something. Lots. They should make clean versions of other songs for other people, like other styles of music. Because maybe like cursing is not something that affects you. Maybe you don't like country because you don't like heartbreak. So you can be like, can I get a clean version of the country song but without the heartbreak in the song? And then when they sing it, it just doesn't have the heart break.
Starting point is 00:01:59 So just be like, Mary Jane, she, my heart. It's like, yeah, I don't want to hear about heartbreak. It's the clean version. That's what this is.
