Listen to the weekly show with John Stewart, wherever you get your podcast. Do you see the, uh, the story of thethe story of the driverless Uber car that killed a person? Like a horrible story.
Starting point is 00:01:14 And what was weird about it though is how quickly people have come out blaming the car. No genuinely people have been like, you see this is why we can't have driverless cars. They're going to kill us on the road. It's like, okay, this is why we can't have driverless cars, they're going to kill us on the road. I was like, okay, there's a few things. First of all, people get killed by human drivers every day. Right, let's start with that. And funny enough, that is how people think.
Starting point is 00:01:34 Like, we'd rather be killed by one of. I want to be killed by Dave. It's interesting how people see it because people jump to blame the car. And I understand that. The car may be at fault. But here's my thing. The people are trying to teach the cars, right? So we've acknowledged that the cars don't know how to drive by themselves. They're trying to the car, just like a driving instructor who's supposed to press the break if the car doesn't press the break. So I want to know, how did the car not stop and then the person in the car not stop as well?
Starting point is 00:02:11 What was that person doing? Because in my head, I'm like, I suspect that, I suspect that, tasty, delicious, and I was like, boom, and it's like, ah! That's what it was. But you can't now be like, the cars are the problems. We said the cars can't drive. So for me, the blame lies on the person who was supposed to be stopping the car from hitting the person that stepped into the road.
Starting point is 00:02:36 You know what I mean? Because that's the point that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's the that's the that's that's the the that's that's the that's the the the that's the the that's what I think happened, because otherwise just press the break. If, you know what I realize, Uber needs to hire my mom, that's what they need to do. Yeah, because even when my mom's a passenger, she always keeps her eyes on the road, always. Like I'll be driving with my mom and then the whole time she'd be like, Trevor, Trevor, Trevor, look out. Trevve, that's a, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, th, th, th.
