Starting point is 00:00:00 Survivor 47 is here, which means we're bringing you a brand new season of the only official survivor podcast on fire. And this season we are joined by fan favorite and Survivor 46 runner-up, Charlie, Charlie, I'm excited to do this together. Thanks, Jeff. So excited to be here, and I can't wait to bring you inside the mind of a survivor player for season 47. Listen to On Fire the official survivor podcast starting September 18th wherever you get your podcast. You're listening to Comedy Central. New York City, it's King Kong's favorite place to poll dance. For most of the country election season isn't happening until next year.
Starting point is 00:00:46 But for America's biggest and most apple-like city, the mayoral election is already in full swing. And there's no shortage of candidates trying to fill Bill DeBlazio's freakishly large shoes. Now to the race to become the next and 110th mayor of New York City, a large and diverse group running for the open seat. Mayor Dublazo, of course, is term limited. Entrepreneur Andrew Yang joins a big field that includes borough President Eric Adams. And if you want a sense of Adams' general vibe, well, this will give you a pretty good idea.
Starting point is 00:01:18 Eric Adams has yet to comment on a video from 2011 where he shows parents how to search their homes for any illegal items their children might bring in. No one can state that you can't search a room in your own home. You write the Constitution. There are no First Amendment rights inside your household. You can look in a jewelry box. A jury box of this nature. Maybe a simple jury box.
Starting point is 00:01:42 But if you look through it closely, you don't know what your child may be hiding. For instance, a gun could be hitting. When your child bring in his popular knapsack, with many different locations, look through it to see what exactly is your child carrying in addition to a book. Something simple as a crack pipe, or use crack pipe. Behind a picture frame, you can find bullets. Just look and see what's inside your bookcases. It could be more than just books. Perfect place to hide cocaine or other illegal substance inside the room. Something simple as as a as a baby dog. Could be just a baby doll but also it could be a place where you could secrete or hide drugs. Holy shit! Who is this kid? El Chappo's long lost son? Yo, let me tell you something. If I went through my kid's bedroom and I found all that stuff,
Starting point is 00:02:30 I would not confront them about it. Yeah, I'd go to my spouse like, yo, baby, we gotta move out of the house. As soon as he leaves, we move to another country, we start a new life. This kid is not playing. But if this video shows one thing about Eric Adams, it's that he is thorough as hell. Ihoff expected him to be like, don't forget to look everywhere. Even a mayoral candidate can be a great place to hide drugs. Now Eric Adams has been surging recently, and in part this is because of his tough on-crime approach, which is appealing in a city where shootings have soared 83% in the past year. Also, Mayor Adams is a vegan.
Starting point is 00:03:11 Oh, yeah, I know, I thought he was black. I know. And this week he announced that going forward, all New York City schools would have to have mandatory vegan Fridays, which I actually think is a great idea. Yes, because Friday I think needs to be taken down down to to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be taken taken to be to be to be because Friday I think needs to be taken down a peg, you know. Oh, you're excited for the weekend? How about a tofu sandwich, bitch? Now, obviously because of this decision, a lot of people are mad.
Starting point is 00:03:34 Like, a lot of people are mad. You have to eat meat or it's not a meal. But if you ask me, there's nothing wrong with kids being exposed to different kinds of foods and different kinds of diets. And yeah, I'm talking about you, kids with peanut allergies. Stop being so close-minded. So yeah, schools in New York are going to serve a vegan food on Fridays, partly because the mayor himself is vegan.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Or is he? It's a big city scandal in New York. Mayor Eric Adams is making waves with a revelation that he eats fish. Adams is a self-proclaimed vegan. A report in political New York over the weekend cited restaurant sources at a midtown eatery frequented by the mayor, who say Adams often dines on fish. He released a statement saying, I want to be a role model for people who are following
Starting point is 00:04:26 or aspire to follow a plant-based diet. But as I said, I am perfectly imperfect and have occasionally eaten fish. Okay, everybody, calm down. I can feel the stress in the room right now. Everybody, calm down. I know you angry right now. And I know you want him to step down, but give the man a the room right now. Everybody, calm down. I know you're angry right now, and I know you want him to step down,
Starting point is 00:04:46 but give the man a chance. Yes, he's a vegan who sometimes eats fish. But don't get a twisted man. Being a vegan isn't about eating vegan. It's about telling everybody that you're vegan. So technically, this man's legit. And that is what is this is this is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this is this is this man is this man is thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. this man. this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is this man is thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thiiiiiiiiiiii. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi.. We're imperfect here. We're perfectly imperfect. You can label yourself whatever you want in New York, whether it's true or not. It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:05:10 You know, that's why the vegan mayor isn't vegan. And that's why the New York Jets can call themselves a football team. You know, if you ask me, the weird thing to me, it's not that he cheatse's that he chets that he chets that he chets that he chets the that he chets that he chets the that he's the theates that he's theateat. It's the fact that his cheat meal is fish. I mean, if you're gonna cheat, cheat, cheat, eat a cheeseburger or a pepperoni pizza. Eating fish as your cheat meal is like getting a whole pass from your spouse and using that whole pass to have sex with a fish. It's a total waste of a whole pass and a fish. Let's kick things off with a big problem facing New York City.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Right now, Mr. Met started in only fans. I had no ideas balls had balls. But there's another issue that's even more of a crisis for New York, the influx of migrants, okay? Every week, thousands are arriving in the city, and now Mayor Eric Adams is taking a break from the club to figure out what to do with them. Mayor Eric Adams is now looking for new shelter locations including outdoor spaces and tents and other temporary shelters. Now the mayor says the city is just out of room. City officials say they
Starting point is 00:06:16 are trying to re-ticket and encourage migrants to go elsewhere. The mayor says he wants to convene a roundtable discussion with city officials, the public the public the public the public the public the public the public the public too. toe. the the toe. the toe. the the the toe. the the the the toe. toe. th. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. to be. to be. to be. to be. to be. to be. to be. to be. toe. toe. And toe. And toe. And toe. And toe. And toe. And toe. And the the th. the th. the. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. the toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. the the toe. the wants to convene a roundtable discussion with city officials, the public and even the media. At this point he says if anyone has any better ideas of what they can do he says he wants to hear them. If you have some good ideas for us on how to manage the situation I am begging for your ideas. No no our ideas that's not how this works okay. Our idea was to elect you's not how this works, okay? Our idea was to elect you to handle this, all right? Imagine a doctor asking, hmm, what do you think your kidneys need? Now I get crowdsourcing for fun stuff like who should be on a new stamp or, you know,
Starting point is 00:06:58 what should the state flower be, but you're asking random people from Staten Island? In the Bronx, okay, for ideas on how to handle immigrants, that's not going to end well. Eric Adams has New Yorkers all wrong. New Yorkers give you opinions, not ideas. It's always, fuck you, asshole, okay? It's never signal before you turn next time, asshole, right? And what both of me is, Eric Adams was very progressive on immigration when it wasn't a problem in New York.
Starting point is 00:07:27 Okay, when it was only Texas dealing with it, he was like, we need to open our hearts to the migrants. Now that they're coming to New York, he's like, build the wall. What it all comes down to is a lot of people are progressive in theory until they get tested. Half the people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people the the the theory until they get tested. Half the people who want to abolish the police, the moment they get robbed, they call a 911 like, send me your most racist cop, all right? Hey guys, this is Tom Segura. And I'm Burke Chrysler. And you're listening to Two Bears One Cave,
Starting point is 00:07:55 or you should be listening to Two Bears One Cave. We are on Spotify. On Spotify. And we are are are are not are not are not are not are not are not are not areement. But you'll have a lot of fun, hopefully. I think you might enjoy it if you give us a listen. If you got your perfect blood work back from your doctor and you have full permission to tie one on, make sure you check out Two Bears One Cave. It's with me, Tom Stegora and my co-host. Bert Chryser. The machine.
Starting point is 00:08:19 My shirt's off. Let's kick things off with our old friend hashtag me too. Remember her? Yeah. Last year, New York passed a new law that gave people a one-year window to file lawsuits for sexual assault that otherwise would have been passed the statute of limitations. Last weekend was the deadline, and boy, did the lawsuits come rolling in. The mayor of New York is accused of sexually assaulting a woman
Starting point is 00:08:50 30 years ago. In a new court filing, the woman alleges she was sexually assaulted by defendant Eric Adams in 1993. The woman filed her claim just before the midnight expiration of New York's Adult Survivors Act. The temporary law signed last year by Governor Kathy Hokel allows adult sexual misconduct accusers to file lawsuits that previously would have been barred by the statute of limitations.
Starting point is 00:09:12 But like, why is there a deadline for rape victims? You know, right after Thanksgiving too. Makes me feel a little like the greasiest Black Friday email ever. Act fast you only have two hours to get justice for the worst day of your life. File a lawsuit today and receive a free toe. Oh, you man. This dude. Could see, no you late when I beat you here. It's all on time.
Starting point is 00:09:43 Oh, so. Film. I like your word. Thank all on time. Whoa, what's up? Feel I like your work. Thank you. You know what I mean? Thank you. So, uh, y'all what's up? This is Kahn asking the mayor and real politicians, real questions
Starting point is 00:09:56 that the real niggers want to know. All right. Mayor. Yo, this bug. Why do I hear that all the the? When I meet people on the train, when I meet people inside a homeless shelter, when I meet people in the club, it's, I cannot believe I'm sitting here kicking it with the man.
Starting point is 00:10:12 Nah, I just can't believe how much you look like Damon Wins. That shit fucking me up. Yo, I'm like, you be blank man, bro. You know, that's wild. But it's wild, like, yo, I voted for you. I'm lying, my mom's voting for you. I don't really fiss with that, but I don't want them to come get me for jewelry, dude. Listen, mom's, all the mom's head, man. Because they saw, they saw in me That's some lady man shit right there. Yo, man, are you buffed?
Starting point is 00:10:46 Why you buff, son? Got to be. You're the most buff man ever. You should do an action movie. Like, some all-on swaths of nexus. Every day is an action movie, man. Some all-swerin' swerin' a nigh-a-shauw. It's stressful. Growing up in the neighborhood, not knowing when your meal is going to come from and eat that hard-ass cheese that they used to make us eat.
Starting point is 00:11:09 That's stress. So you plan on softening the government cheese? You can't soften that, man. You can melt it. Tell me the secret. Because we used to put in the oven and we're leaving it for half an hour and it was still still still. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It was still still. It was still. It was still. It was still. It was still. It was still. It was still. It was still. It was still. It was still still that it. It was still still th. It was still they were still th. It was still they were th. It was still they were still they were th. It was that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they that. And it. And it. And it. And it. It. It. It. It was they they they they they they were they were they were th. It was they were thi thi they they the that that that that the that that's that's that's that's that that the they they shit for months. Yo, that's bug. I had a question, this is random. How come I can't buy hot food on my EBT card? That's a good question.
Starting point is 00:11:32 I didn't even know that. Bro, just cold shit? Why pull people gottah? And they shouldn't. I didn't know you can't. Change that. We're gonna look at it. And we're gonna name the bill after you. Quar. Yes. The Quaam Bill. Yes. You know how many holes I'm gonna get for that?
Starting point is 00:11:48 The Quam. I've got a bill named after me. Ho, I got a bill named that for me. Nah, but real talk, let me give them some real serious shit. You really do be working out. Five a. You're like, son, do you or do you not be in the clubs? Because I hear you be part of it. Let's say I'm a nightlife man, I gotta test the product. So, sir, how f'c. You gonna say you up at five a.
Starting point is 00:12:12 When you ain't even sleep, thus, that. My dad said, you hang out with the boys with you. So let me ask you some real shit, weed. Yes. You smoke? That's a tough question, man. It's legal. You know?
Starting point is 00:12:32 Yeah. No, no, I don't smoke. Secondhand. All you guys do is walk down the block. Secondhand is everywhere now. We made it legal, but we just don't want our children smoking don't want our children smoking on their way to school. Or getting that gummy bears and other bullshit that they sell it. You know, we need to be real clear on that.
Starting point is 00:12:52 I know if you make sure smoke back to school. Yeah, now let's get real. Yes. I'm a soften you up. Now we've got some real shit to ask you. You said that prayers go out the classroom, guns come in. Now I'm a church boy. I mean, I look at it. I can tell. But my grandmother go to church. She prayed a lot. She prayed a lot. That's how you made it. But see, prayer don't always work. Yes, it does. No, because my grandma prayed over my gay cousin, her whole life,
Starting point is 00:13:25 she's still gay as hell. If your grandmother prayed for your cousin that she gonna pray for her to be happy and find peace. That's, and that peace may not be your peace. Boss. That man got bars. I ain't, I ain't, I ain't, I f-c, with you, man. Yo, next time. If I vote.
Starting point is 00:13:46 Mm-hmm. I'm going for you. So with that said, when exactly did they take prayers out the classroom in New York City? Sometimes they believe constitutionally. You're not supposed to have prayers in school. And I think that you don't have to do it in school around school, but our children need some spiritual you don't 't think that's some white shit? No, I think it's the right shit. Come on. You should be able to pray. We got here.
Starting point is 00:14:11 Yeah, so you want to put it back in the school. Something not up to me. What I want to do is introduce our children to spirituality. Fucks with that. You know that? I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that's. I that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's tha. that's that's that's that's to bea. th. that. to bea. to bea. to bea. to bea. to bea. to bea. to bea. to bea. to bea. to bea. to bea. that. Because one time I took this dude's chain, it was a Jesus chain, and I felt real bad. Mm-hmm. You know, I'm sure you gave it back to it. No, I just felt real bad. You may have me to be for a reason.
Starting point is 00:14:34 Right. Because I did point it during quarantine and got me that EBT-T card that I usedthe whole food that you're gonna make hot. All right, let me ask you, real shit people want to know. Son, what the fuck you gonna do about the Knicks? Listen, you're the mayor, son. You can't have the team, New York team looking like the... Spike Lee don't even go to the games no more. You gotta do something, son. You should go there with all your cops.

Listen, all I know about New York fans is an Arnold Schwarzenegger moment. They'll be back, because we're going to win. They'll be saying that for 30 years.
