It doesn't care about the tractor trailer whose driver fell asleep either. It doesn't care about the slippery roads. It doesn't care that you paid for on-star. It doesn't care that you're a famous comedian. It doesn't care about you at all. The road
Starting point is 00:01:15 is unmerciful. So is the war that can easily break out. So is the con man and the criminal. So are the pandemics and the building collapses, always take full note of Fortune's habit of behaving just as she pleases. Seneca reminds us, don't trust prosperity, he said, don't think it can't happen to you because it can. Remember even the averages that come down in your favor, the odds against lung cancer if you don't smoke the odds of a plane crash, the odds of the flash drive reformatting, if you don't unplug it properly, are still ruthless to the individual. It happens to somebody. Somebody always takes the weight, and that somebody could be
