The secret to climbing the mountain.
The task before us is enormous.
The problems we face seem overwhelming. The change we seek will not be easy.
What do we do?
Bruce Dickinson, the lead singer of the band Iron Maiden,
and we have a great video of some Stilk lessons from the band over at YouTube.
I'll link to that.
He once found himself sitting across from Robert Plant at a studio in Hilversum,
a city in the Netherlands.
I'm having so much trouble with the album, Plant confessed.
It's like a mountain and I don't know where to start.
Bruce Dickinson looked at him as he sipped his tea
and said, try the steps.
The steps, Plant asked?
Yes, the steps in the side of the mountain, Dickinson explained.
That's what they're there for.
It's both mystical and straightforward.
You climb a mountain one step at a time.
You overcome obstacles little by little.
Action by action, Mark Spreleis writes in Meditations.

We have a leather edition.
It says, no one can stop you from that.
Not only can't they stop you,
you often find there are stairs right there
designed for your use. So use them.
