Welcome to the Daily Stoic. For each day we read a short passage designed to help you cultivate the
strength, insight, wisdom necessary for living the good life.
Each one of these passages is based on the 2000-year-old philosophy
that has guided some of history's
greatest men and women.

You have to fight.
Maybe you don't have to worry about being pulled over for a little reason.
Maybe you don't have to worry about not getting the benefit of the doubt.
Maybe you've never been in trouble.
Maybe you know how to deescalate tense situations.
Maybe you can afford a good lawyer.
Maybe you've never been in the wrong place
in the wrong time.
Maybe all of that is true and let us hope that it is.
Let us not mistake this for thinking
the issues of law enforcement, police brutality,
or racial injustice are not your problem because they are.
Cato was rich. Cato was respected. Cato could have rolled over and let Caesar usurp the laws of
the Republic. He could have retired to his books and his philosophy and waited the whole thing out.
Cato could have fled Rome after Caesar one. He could have appeased and compromised
cared only whether he and his family were safe,
but that's not what he did.
Cato fought.
Cato insisted on justice.
He insisted on liberty.
He insisted on fighting to protect what was worth protecting, not just for himself, but
for generations to come.
In fact, he chose to die rather than live in a world.
We couldn't do that anymore. Courage, justice, temperance, wisdom, these are not idle words, these are not
theoretical concepts removed from our day-to-day reality. No, they are standards
we have to live by. These are the ideals we have to fight for that we have to
insist are fairly offered to all, particularly justice and particularly to
the vulnerable.
This is your problem.
It's everyone's problem.

Hey y'all, I'm Kiki Palmer.
I'm an actress, a singer, an entrepreneur,
and a Virgo, just the name of you.
Now I've held so many occupations over the years
that my fans lovingly nicknamed me Kiki Kiki
Pabag Palmer.
And trust me, I keep a bad love.
But if you ask me, I'm just getting started.
And there's so much I still want to do.
So I decided I wanna be a podcast host. I'm just getting started, and there's so much I still want to do. So I decided I want to be a podcast host.
I'm proud to introduce you to the Baby Mrs. Kiki Palmer podcast.
I'm putting my friends, family, and some of the dopest experts in the hot seat to ask them
the questions that have been burning in my mind.
What will former child stars be if they weren't actors?
What happened to sitcoms?
It's only fans, only bad.
I want to know.
So I asked my mom about it.
These are the questions that keep me up at night.
But I'm taking these questions out of my head and I'm bringing them to you.
Because on Baby This Is Kiki Palmer, no topic is off limits.
Follow Baby This Is Kiki Palmer, whatever you get your podcast.
