Kay hasn't heard from her sister in seven years.
I have a proposal for you.
Come up here and document my project.
All you need to do is record everything like you always do.
What was that?
That was live audio of a woman's nightmare.
Can Kay trust her sister or is history repeating itself?
There's nothing dangerous about what you're doing.
They're just dreams.

All right.
Hey, we will be singing this whole episode.
Happy Valentine's Day, guys.
I hope everyone's doing something nice.
I don't know.
Do whatever the fuck you want.
Hey, you know, just take your lover in your arms and...
Proclaim your love.
Or buy a bunch of weird shit.
Yeah.
Heart-shaped pizza is trending because of Valentine's Day.
I wonder if this is...
I thought maybe this was about one heart-shaped pizza,
but when I looked at the trend,
it was like that there are just a lot of articles of being like,
this is where you get a heart-shaped pizza.
This place in town tonight is doing heart-shaped pizzas i i assume this was a weird out parody of heart-shaped box oh wow well i when i my whole thing is how do you slice a
heart-shaped pizza properly you can't yeah i think you just have to eat it Lady and the Tramp style from one side to the other.
Or you fold it and it turns into like a weird half heart and then you eat it like that.
I don't know.
Let us know.
But is this, do you think, a lazy person search thing?
Or some people just really love the idea of like, you know what?
I love pizza.
People love love.
So why not?
Yeah, I guess so.
Love it, guys.
It also reminds me of Valentine's Day projects in elementary school,
which I think is like peak Valentine's Day,
when you're like giving out the Valentines and getting the Valentines.
I saw somebody on Twitter being like,
Valentine's day is stupid because it like
forces children to like start uh behaving in a way that like this weird courting ritual yeah
weird courting ritual that that's kind of a valid point that i hadn't really thought of but um i
also think it's cute it's just as long as you take it as just a fun excuse
to have paper decorations.
Yeah, not be like, you're a boy,
so you have to give a Valentine to a girl.
Right, exactly.
And you're a girl, so you should measure your worth
by how many Valentines you receive.
You guys kissing?
Oh, why do you kiss each other?
Like, you're my teacher.
Right.
Yeah, but it's just a good good excuse for some cute decorations uh and heart-shaped pizza seems like it ties into that anyways uh go get your heart-shaped pizza
and that's that way your partner knows it's real yeah that's right uh hide a ring in it and propose
a crystal Pepsi ring,
which we will talk about on Monday's episode.
Tuesday.
Oh, yeah, we got a long weekend coming up.
Stranger Things 4.
Yeah, teaser came out.
New trailer drop.
Teasy.
Teasy, cheesy.
And look, if you didn't watch 3, this is a spoiler.
Skip forward.
Skip forward because I don't want to talk about it.
If you don't care or whatever, then stick around.
Because in the teaser, we see that Hopper, David Harbour's character, is not dead?
What?
Alive, maybe?
Because at the end of three, he sacrificed himself to save Hawkins and the world, possibly.
Who's Hawkins?
The town they live in oh okay big fan
did you how far did you get in stranger things season one oh that's it yeah okay look it's up
to you it's fine did you not it did it not resonate with you or you just don't have i just
thought it was fine i thought it was like a fun little kind of shallow exercise and fun nostalgia
that i didn't need to i didn't need need to dig that much deeper in.
Because you lived it, man.
I was actually
pressured into watching
season one by Her Majesty
and Daniel O'Brien
because they were just talking about it
on a trip we took
one time and they were just
really into it. So I watched it
and I liked it it but then i never
had that experience again where people were like oh man stranger things is so good and like people
you know you have to like hear from people you really respect that like they love the show i i
don't love it but i like i enjoy you like it a lot because i like that they really honor the period
yeah and not like
you know people do takes on 80s shit and then like you see like weird technology like that
shit wouldn't be there and it kind of takes you out so it's a little more immersive but then i
knew they were taking it seriously when hopper was smoking cigarettes in the first season yeah
exactly i was like that is some real 80s in a hospital yeah in a NICU unit um I think so jarring when you look back at 80s
movies and like the Ghostbusters are smoking cigarettes for no reason they're like just cuz
yeah uh but yeah I mean I it's I enjoy it just because like it's it's good uh you know nostalgia
and the Duffer Brothers I like the music in it and just like the you know the sometimes it gets a
little predictable but yeah that's why i'm like i don't watch it the second it comes out like
usually like time like i didn't watch three until maybe like four or five months after or six months
after it'd come out and then i was like i got time yeah see what it's about yeah i'm gonna probably
watch it now that you know you're a person i respect you like it a lot so i'm gonna check it
out yeah season two and season three we're good it's up to you as good as season one up to you okay that's where it's like more
just like that's why season one i liked and then i was like okay these are fine i like season three
too because a lot of it takes place in a mall in the 80s and after like listening a little bit to
the companion podcast and sort of like the lengths they go to really make sure the mall is like as authentic as possible authentically 80s yeah i mean that was the center of 80s culture yeah
was the mall yeah and like that's why they make it they really anchor the third season
and the mall because it's like this is like really the cultural crossroads of our country at the time
yeah was that movie that was like a post-apocalyptic 80s movie about like teenagers like billy jack or
something or uh where like the it's like a bunch of teenagers and a teen gang and it takes place
at least partially in a mall okay anyways malls shout out to mall and shout out to the teen mall
gangs yes i was a part of one were you really well not like a you know just more like a crew of like
kids who don't have anything to fucking do so they're just at the mall rat type shit yeah yeah
uh banksy is trending he uh put a new work of art on a wall in england in it and uh it's uh it's cool i i mean it seems at this point like you know he stencils some cool
shit on a wall there's like a three-dimensional aspect to it what is it a little kid with a
slingshot and a heart that's exploding or something yeah i think so yeah like it's the
exploding heart in bristol his hometown appears to be dripping off a slingshot
of flowers a slingshot of flowers but it looks bloody but it looks bloody so shout out to banksy
and yeah if you've not heard of this underground artist yeah get ready we got the the hot take
uh if you've been in a coma since 2004 i feel like uh what malls were to the 80s banks
is it banksy was to the 2000s what do you mean the aughts just like cultural like the cultural
center that people will be like oh yeah that was the thing of that time oh going it's like run to
see a banksy yeah yeah yeah yeah for years i walked by one i didn't know oh really i
was like oh okay i just thought it was like pete davidson's character yeah okay okay um and then
finally fantasy island is trending a new trailer came out for fantasy island fantasy island movie
uh and it really takes a turn on you yeah it's like oh this is gonna be a fun
you know 70s reboot probably steamy some steamy things happening yeah because i'm like okay where
are we going with this the trailer starts off very fun these people go to a sick ass island dude
right they got the guys on the jet packs with water and a pool there's tiki torches there's
all kinds of weird only steam that's happening is at the dry cleaner
because you're going to shit your pants.
This thing is scary as fuck.
Yes, it's a full-on horror take on it.
And you can use that quote in the trailer.
Yeah, it's a horror movie.
Turns into a horror.
Where essentially you're granted one fantasy on the island.
Yeah.
And it seems like, like oh it's going
to be like some indulging fantasy it's got like the monkey's paw thing where it's like it twists
on you yeah it's like oh you wanted revenge on an old classmate yeah yeah and then it gets dark as
fuck psych no you didn't all the staff is creepy and is getting random nosebleeds yeah random
nosebleeds from the staff you know you're in trouble especially when they don't feel it it just like any trailer when someone gets a random nosebleed you Yeah, random nosebleeds from the staff. You know you're in trouble, especially when they don't feel it.
Any trailer when someone gets a random nosebleed,
you're in for a ride.
Yeah.
Then one of their eyes starts twitching.
I was actually surprised at how,
at first just reading about it,
I'm like, okay, cool.
Fantasy Island is a horror reboot.
But the trailer,
I don't really watch a lot of horror,
but I was like,
oh, this might do well.
Yeah, it looked like a Blumhouse movie that, because it is a Blumhouse movie,
but it looked kind of high budge for a Blumhouse movie.
There's like planes exploding in the sky.
Yeah, well, they don't have to blow up a real plane.
I'm pretty sure they can do that with computers.
Nah, no way.
Chris Nolan asked.
He's like, no, we do it in camera.
All the horror shit in camera.
Anyway, those are four things that are trending on this Valentine's Day afternoon.
We hope you guys are having a great one.
Go out and just, you know, kiss.
And here comes Professor Kissy.
Professor Kissy face.
This is where you go for your love advice.
All right, guys, that's going to do it. Have a great long weekend. this is where you go for your love advice alright guys
that's going to do it have a great long weekend
if you get Monday off
have a great regular weekend
and Monday without daily zeitgeist
because we're off on Monday
if you do work on Monday
anyways happy Valentine's Day
