billy idol energy yeah not billy ocean billy's idol billy ocean what a name what a name. We love him, don't we, folks? Don't we love him, Billy Ocean? Alright.
We said who we are. I'm Jack.
That's Miles.
Here are some of the things that are trending
on this Tuesday afternoon.
The Secret Service director,
Kimberly Cheadle, became
the less high-profile
person to swear up and down
they were not going to resign
to say, i can't resign
i'm the best person for the job um and then finally resign yep yep yeah i mean uh after
i think like again most people who saw what happened on that assassination attempt are like
i feel like even in the movies they they disappear you like the second shots are fired like oh get
the fuck we're gone we're gone we're gone but they're like the second shots are fired like oh get the fuck we're
gone we're gone we're gone but they're like let him get his shoe let him get a photo wait wait
let me get my shoe wait wait let me do this well now there's okay all right you got your shoe now
okay mr president let's go now let's go wait wait wait let me do something that looks
fucking those little pops are bullets snapping by your head all right
whatever it's fine it's fine so yeah the fucking hearing was bonkers you're making me look stupid
get off me it was like the did you see any of the the hearing like yeah i saw aoc's uh line of
questioning which i thought was actually very smart it's not the part that seems to be getting
picked up the most but yeah most people are like tim burkett and stuff who's like you're a woman is that allowed
and it's like this is essentially what he's asking and he's like and if you're up to me you'd be gone
on mars and you're like okay thanks for that constructive question but yeah aoc was more like
what the fuck are y'all doing over there yeah and she also like got in some good questions about you
know that mentioned referenced the popularity of the assault rifle that was used and was like so
how come you didn't set up a security perimeter to guard against a gun that is basically
statistically everyone at that rally has one in their possession like most likely you know
um yeah which i thought was a good gun control talking point that she slid in there um and then
also just talking about how the speed of the report which i don't really give a shit about but
sure um yeah but she was two months to figure that out only need to 60 days to figure out what how the fuck that fucking story straight oh sorry did i say that out loud i saw new i saw that new
york times video you're talking about jack that had all the angles and stuff yeah that one made
it pretty clear how like where all the fuck ups were happening yeah yeah um but yeah again like
we said conspiracy or maybe uh law enforcement people who are ordained to do violence
maybe not always the best at their job yeah um so yeah i mean speaking of which uh we have the
story of sonja massey um a unarmed black woman in springfield illinois uh who was murdered in her
home by the police after she called them about someone potentially snooping
around her home um just a horrifying the body cam footage is terrifying i don't i could i this
i mean i didn't watch the whole thing the second i knew what was going on like i had to turn it off
because this woman called the police saying i think someone's trying to break in i'm not sure
they they came in.
The first thing when they came to her door was like,
she said, please don't hurt me.
Please don't.
Exactly.
And they're like, why would we hurt you?
You called us.
Yeah.
Why would we hurt you?
The tone is so eerie.
And she was boiling a pot of water.
One of the officers asked her, said, hey,
can you actually turn that pot of water off?
Because I don't want to fire hazard or whatever.
And she goes, oh, I rebuke you in the name of jesus she said like under her
her voice or whatever and when she went over there they suddenly treated this pot like pot
of boiling water as a threat told her to put it down comply and she was just just murdered in her
own murder yeah um but the officer that pulled the trigger i'm surprised at this heat this this
happened in the beginning of july he's been arrested and charged with three counts of first
degree murder as he should be um and is being held without bond until his trial um but yeah i mean
just again the enough again we still have the same fucking problems in the country and you know
these are the kinds of things that you want people who are running for office to be able to touch on to understand that there are generations of people who are traumatized
just from hearing over and over about how black people are getting killed by the police just
indiscriminately how just people are being brutalized by the police with and there's no
legal recourse um these are this is what the fuck we're talking about when we have people just
insisting that democracy is over sure i understand that threat but there are other things that are clear
and present dangers to the people that live in this country that are being completely ignored
and it's sickening to watch this shit happen over and over and over and over again and that's the
part i think that makes people nihilistic is you every four years i'm like i hear you man we got
to do something about police and they do fuck all and then this this frustration compounds to the point that you feel so powerless and you're
so frustrated at the system that in which you live in they're like what i mean even the people
who are promising to do shit about it don't do shit about it and it's and this is these are the
these are the fucking holes in our society that we have to begin to repair first before we have anything that
resembles what we you know romanticize about this like representative democracy we have here um so
yeah it's it's just again this is like the i think the last report that came out about police
involved killings like with police killing people in may the count was up to like something like
469 people that was as of jesus christ man so it's um
yeah nothing yeah i mean you're sending racist people the guy's tattoos there was there was
something a lot of people were speculating some of the tattoos i haven't seen all of like the
analysis but like was rocking some white supremacist tattoos also yeah or you know like
fucking rune tattoos that we know are pretty aligned um yeah in the semiotics
sense with white supremacy all right let's take a quick break we'll come back uh we'll get to more
news stories we'll be right back i'm jess casavetto executive producer of the hit netflix
documentary series dancing for the devil, the 7M TikTok cult.
And I'm Clea Gray, former member of 7M Films and Shekinah Church.
And we're the host of the new podcast, Forgive Me For I Have Followed. Together,
we'll be diving even deeper into the unbelievable stories behind 7M Films and LA-based Shekinah
Church, an alleged cult that has impacted members for over two decades. Jessica and I will delve into the hidden truths between high control groups and interview dancers,
church members, and others whose lives and careers have been impacted, just like mine.
Through powerful, in-depth interviews with former members and new, chilling,
firsthand accounts, the series will illuminate untold and extremely necessary perspectives.
Forgive Me For I Have Followed will be more than an exploration.
It's a vital revelation aimed at ensuring these types of abuses never happen again.

When you're just starting out in your career,
you have a lot of questions.
Like, how do I speak up when I'm feeling overwhelmed?
Or, can I negotiate a higher salary
if this is my first real job?
Girl, yes.
Each week, we answer your unfiltered work questions.
Think of us as your work besties you
can turn to for advice. And if we don't know the answer, we bring in experts who do,
like resume specialist Morgan Saner. The only difference between the person who doesn't get
the job and the person who gets the job is usually who applies. Yeah, I think a lot about that quote.
What is it like you miss 100% of the shots you never take? Yeah, rejection is scary, but it's
better than you rejecting yourself.
Together, we'll share what it really takes to thrive in the early years of your career
without sacrificing your sanity or sleep.

I've been thinking about you.
I want you back in my life. It's too late for that. I have been thinking about you. I want you back in my life.
It's too late for that.
I have a proposal for you.
Come up here and document my project.
All you need to do is record everything like you always do.
One session, 24 hours.
BPM 110, 120.
She's terrified.
Should we wake her up?
Absolutely not.
What was that?
You didn't figure it out?
I think I need to hear you say it.
That was live audio of a woman's nightmare.
This machine is approved and everything?
You're allowed to be doing this?
We passed the review board a year ago.
We're not hurting people.
There's nothing dangerous about what you're doing
they're just dreams dream sequence is a new horror thriller from blumhouse television
iheart radio and realm listen to dream sequence on the iheart radio app apple podcasts or wherever and we're back we're back uh disneyland workers uh overwhelmingly have voted to strike
um we talked before yeah 99 even overwhelming seems like an understatement yeah it's almost
as if it's like unanimously dude like oh yeah uh that
guy jeffrey he fucking he missed he was sick so he missed the vote right but he would it would
have been 100 just one person just like didn't make it today but yeah 99 of authorized to strike
yeah so they're authorized it doesn't mean they're going to strike yet but this puts disney in a very vulnerable place because what
the fuck else can they do but pay their workers can you imagine well what else can we do
or scab i guess but yeah just though that would be so wacky just like scab disney like the vibes
would be i mean because you know a lot of people who work there tend to at least be somewhat
invested in creating the magic for the people who are stressed out about how expensive it is to go
there yeah but yeah it's it i guess yeah disney i look man they got you you need this thing the
parks are a cash cow and you don't want to turn that thing into a a cash mouse yeah ah what i did the cash mouse that's like a fucking
variety headline cash mouse
cash cow cash mouse
outside cash mouse house
cash me mouse side
uh disney
makes billions obviously
um while one in
10 disneyland cast members have
experienced homelessness while working at the
park um and 73 percent of disneyland workers say they one in 10 Disneyland cast members have experienced homelessness while working at the park.
Um,
and 73% of Disneyland workers say they don't make enough to cover basic expense expenses each month.
Um,
so I feel like this is true in so many industries.
Like,
yeah.
And again,
goes against when a lot of people are saying like,
but the economy is so hot right now.
Yeah.
It's like,
it's not hot.
If people who have a job are experiencing homelessness or
near homelessness it's hot for making extremely wealthy people extremely wealthier right well
do you have like do you have like a hundred thousand in the market right like what would
like we got like maybe two hundred thousand in index funds you're like oh huh i'm living in a car
You're like, huh?
I'm living in a car.
Yeah.
But yeah, keep lecturing people about the hot economy.
Yeah.
Hey, speaking of hot, Flamin' Hot Cheetos.
You did it.
There's another chapter in the story. So we've talked before about how they made the Flamin hot movie about richard montanez who claims to be
the inventor of flaming hot cheetos frito-lay allowed the movie to go forward i guess but then
came out with a washington post article or no an la times article like right before the movie came
out being like i mean he didn't really invent that
shit though why did y'all do that then yeah why let the story go forward they're like but it's a
fun urban legend and we we stand beside behind him as a figure but it's just an urban legend
and now he is suing them and basically saying like the company used media coverage
to attempt to discredit him and he's lost out on book deals and speaking engagements as a result
uh which which yeah like that's the thing i was like i think we were even talking when the movie
came out that it was still like a a little bit unclear as to what exactly his involvement was.
Because there were other Frito-Lay employees who were like, I didn't know that guy.
But that's why I'm curious.
What's really going on here?
Because on one hand, I could totally see...
I mean, if the LA Times is reporting it, I'd imagine they're doing some level of research.
Or maybe they would have uncovered an actual racist plot against him but i also i'm also i'm never surprised at
what a corporation is capable of um in terms of like trying to erase like the contributions of
someone that's worked there yeah yeah but that sucks dude it will be interesting yeah hopefully
there's more you know the the
article is one thing but that's like a single source but i'm sure during a trial we'll we'll
actually learn more and right because it's frito-lay's thing it's like well like we love
that you're like kind of like the vibey origin of it but like legally you're not but you can have
the vibes but you better shut the fuck up if you expect money from us don't say you invented it um but yeah did you i'm like did you did you see flaming hot i did not
i forgot it came out but now i'm curious how they what they do here like what came out after
movies stopped being a thing that anybody paid attention to yeah yeah yeah unfortunately unfortunately yeah yeah gotcha um unfortunately
because fuck movies uh let's see the home depot 2024 halloween decor is upon us are we 6.8 weeks
i was gonna just say we are 6.8 weeks officially 6.8 weeks which is good news if you're a millennial because with fourth of july just through 2.3
weeks behind us uh the six point and it's not even a fucking day man like six point it's not
even an actual number of days yeah keep going back that food and wine article is still there
when it has not been edited yeah no clarity the person is still ducking me on the dms
but some of these i gotta say man like you got you got that big reaper one don't you in your
front yard i got uh the big witch oh which okay similar technology see on here a similar deal
not a full 12 feet i think probably closer like 10 um and she appears to be
hovering so it's basically what they've got going with this uh led levitating reaper yeah
similar similar physics involved here engineering yeah yeah exactly they got a lot i mean look i
guess the 12 footer 12 foot scales are the big thing. Now they got accessories.
So you could put a wig on there or looks like shoes with spats on them because they're a dandy from the 20s or some shit.
It's a black braided wig, a beaded necklace, a skull person shoes, all waterproof.
So you don't have to worry about them getting ruined when it rains.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Good.
Good.
Good.
proof so you don't have to worry about them getting ruined when it rains oh yeah yeah yeah good good good uh wait are you are you looking to augment your halloween display i don't know
i mean because your neighborhood's popping and i know you had that one house like it looked like
a full-on butcher scene for like carcasses were being like torn apart on the lawn beheaded
children um on the on their like halloween tree it just stopped my kids
dead in their tracks there's like mouth agape um i think i'm gonna just stick with the witch
because we did we changed our yard to be like drought tolerant so there's like more right
plants and stuff that it would get in the way. So I think we're just going to stick Witch on this one.
I'm going to hold for a year.
But there's nothing on here that really
makes me...
Other than the original
12-foot Skelly,
which is a
classic.
That is the one that I would go in for.
What about a 12-footin shkreli skelly
martin shkreli skelly yeah and he's holding the wu-tang unreleased wu-tang album now you're
talking my language yeah you're trying to think a shkreli skelly yeah shkreli skells
i'm trying to think of what would take me ah man man. There's a deemed a six foot animated Dean deathologist.
I just,
I'm a little disappointed that they are not getting bigger and bigger.
I think they must've like,
it might,
it must be like that 200 milligrams of caffeine thing where they're like,
yeah,
no,
we tested after this.
Like you start getting deaths.
Yeah. it doesn't
make sense yeah don't go don't go 14 feet yeah like 14 feet and like people start getting trapped
under it the dean deathologist is really i'm sorry for lack of a better word fucking dumb
yeah in my opinion it looks like a like he's like a barkeep from the 19th century barkeep
oh right okay that makes sense it's either akeep from the 19th century barkeep oh right okay that makes
sense it's either a person from the 19th century or a hipster yeah yeah i mean got the garter
armband on you got a nice pringles man mustache you're pouring drinks all right but that also
seems like what's going on with the pigtails girl with the purse and the spat shoes.
It feels like it's either back in time or kind of hipster weird thing.
But I'm just like, why are we doing that?
We're rocking saddle shoes, man.
Stride right saddle shoes.
Like in the 80s.
Yeah.
They're back.
But hey, look, zike gang let us know
what's is there anything is there a new hyped thing i feel like yeah i first i was like oh man
new scales and i'm like man this is it yeah i mean so they do have a 12 foot inferno pumpkin
skeleton with a light up inferno pumpkin head um that's up there and then they have they are trying to fly a little bit closer to the sun
with the 12 and a half foot inferno deadwood skeleton um where the skeleton looks like it's
made of wood um and then like has like a fire glowing in its rib cage i was hoping it would
say like loose lines of al swearingen from redwood yeah
what's like horribly like yeah turn of the century racist stuff but no it's the regular skeleton
and because you can hear your racist stuff yeah you can hear your neighbor yeah hear your neighbor
scream turn of the century racist stuff that's right in your local neighborhood and to quote
george costanza john voight, John Voight has blamed
propaganda for Angelina
Jolie's decision to support
Palestine.
Amazing
cognitive dissonance going on here.
She has been
exposed to propaganda,
he told. Not you. It is not I
who is exposed to propaganda.
It is simply she. She's been not. I who have been supposed to propaganda. It is.
She,
she,
uh, she's been influenced by antisemitic people.
Angie has a connection to the UN and she's enjoyed speaking out for refugees,
but these people are not refugees.
Oh my God,
dude,
shut the fuck up.
John Floyd is the UN.
Like,
is he like that?
Because that,
that seems to be the,
uh,
standard claim, right? Is that the anti-semitic now right i mean depending on whose words you listen to and take that as
serious and valid yes sure uh that could be it but i think yeah oh man these people are not refugees
is so fucking on brand for someone like john voight i like he said he goes on quote angie i think she
hasn't been available to this information because in hollywood people don't share this kind of stuff
they're way off they have no idea what's going on it's a bubble uh-huh she's the one who's in a
bubble that but you're the you're the more you have the more worldly access to information as somebody who only gets their news from Fox News.
Do you look at photos or images of terrible violence befalling children and you're like,
Nah, Fox News would show it to me if it was important.
Oh, right, right, right.
Yeah, it's a thing that a lot of people are,
unfortunately,
dealing with in this country
is older people just getting more old.
Older people being like,
that ain't what's,
that ain't real.
That's essentially what everyone says.
And I was like, okay,
man, just shut up.
The stuff that everybody everywhere else
in the world thinks,
that ain't real.
Nah, nah. You're in your little bubble with the rest of the world's population you're in this bubble called earth
yes and while there are yes definitely bubble information spheres i think to to use that to
attack uh your daughter who obviously you're you know have estranged from but like for trying to
advocate for innocent people who are being displaced by a ethnic cleansing or genocidal
campaign um it's something else john voight just just go just be just i wish he was just
pick a character that he was in a film and just be that forever yeah you know what i mean like
be the guy from anaconda like don't ever break character that would be fun just be that forever yeah you know what i mean like be the guy from anaconda like don't
ever break character that would be fun just do that yeah don't talk about politics just talk
about how you were fucking bit by a snake all the time yeah and and watch people creepily uh on your
point to your eye snakes don't eat people they don't okay one of my favorite miles gray impressions it's one of my yeah you haven't even seen the
you guys that'll be the first video episode of the daily like i still have to get them to do it
just yeah watch a side by side all right you're gonna love this scene you're gonna love this scene
find a way to cram the phrase snakes don't eat people into uh they don't and the condas are the perfect killing machine i
can do that whole monologue anyway um john voight stick to a character just don't be a human talking
out loud on this earth anymore thank you that's gonna do it for us on this tuesday afternoon we
are back tomorrow with the whole last episode of the show. Yep. Until then, be kind to each other. Be kind to yourselves.
Get the vaccine.
Get your flu shots.
Don't do nothing about white supremacy.
And we will talk to you all tomorrow.
Bye.
