Kay hasn't heard from her sister in seven years.
I have a proposal for you.
Come up here and document my project.
All you need to do is record everything like you always do.
What was that?
That was live audio of a woman's nightmare.
Can Kay trust her sister or is history repeating itself?
There's nothing dangerous about what you're doing.
They're just dreams.

where your favorite foods come from?
Like what's the history
behind bacon-wrapped hot dogs? Hi, I'm Eva Longoria. Hi, I'm Maite Gomez-Rejon. Our podcast Hungry for
History is back. And this season we're taking an even bigger bite out of the most delicious food

Hi, everyone.
It's me, Katie Couric.
You know, if you've been following me on social media, you know I love to cook, or at least
try, especially alongside some of my favorite chefs and foodies, like Benny Blanco, Jake
Cohen, Lighty Hoyk, Alison Roman, and Ina Garten.

Hello, the Internet, and welcome to this very special episode of Try Trent Chewing Gum.
That is a good one. Classic looking around the room for a short show title and got my tropical pineapple
twist
chewing gum somebody once
made fun of me for having like fruity
chewing gum they were like
what are you like 10
shove it
I was 10 at the time so I was like yeah
why do you know
all right let
us tell the people what's trending oh by the way i'm jack
that is dj daniel what up buzz up buzz up let's let's tell the people what's trending please um
i'm here for it yeah so newsmax is trending was trending has been trending uh because they had the my pillow uh ceo mike lindell on
um and they're also in a in kind of a unique situation because uh they're very scared uh of
the um voting machine company what's what's the name of that company again uh dominion dominion
yeah they got one of those cease and desist letters from Dominion
that has scared the pants off of a lot of people.
Good.
So now, yeah, that is my question.
If this is what it makes Newsmax do,
why aren't they sending these cease and desist
to every Trump family member and to Mike Lindell?
Yeah, exactly.
But let's hear this appearance because he comes on talking that shit and they have to shut it down.
Okie dokie.
Thanks for joining us and welcome.
So what happened?
What happened with your Twitter account?
Oh, he got banned from Twitter.
So he's letting people know.
Well, first, mine was taken down because we have all the election fraud with these Dominion machines.
We have 100% proof.
And then when they took it down about three weeks ago.
This is one of the Newsmax anchors.
Mike, thank you very much. Mike, you're talking about machines that Newsmax have not been able to verify any of those kinds of allegations.
We just want to let people know that there's nothing substantive that we've seen.
And let me read you something there.
While there were some clear evidence of some cases of vote fraud and election irregularities. The election results in Kevin's state were certified.
Just reading off of the letter from legal.
You can kind of guess where it goes from there.
Mike Lindell starts flipping out and saying,
I got to you.
You're worse than Twitter, man.
And the guy actually gets up.
And the guy actually gets up and the anchor from Newsmax is like,
can we not do this anymore?
And then just walks off.
And so they cut to him and it's just an empty chair.
He's just like, what?
Presumably just like walks muttering into traffic somewhere.
That's really, wow, that's intense.
This also reminds me, I love it, you know,
a little inside baseball for the fans here.
We have this problem on the show sometimes where the gate of someone's mic gets cut off
when someone else is talking.
And I just love that, especially for this video,
his mic keeps getting cut off by the gate
because someone else is talking.
So it's really
it doesn't become that usual like two like equal voices shouting match that you see on punditry
sometime where it's too right and it's like this is cacophony i can't even listen to it
it's literally mike lindell being like right while he's getting just shouting animatedly
yeah and they're just like and everything he's saying is a lie but as you can see he's getting just shouting animatedly yes uh yeah and they're just like and everything he's
saying is a lie but as you can see he's still screaming um yeah so you know the the trump world
the trump media apparatus is in a weird position because uh he had them gassed up on lies and uh now the objective world is uh kind of
having a resurgence they're it's having a moment facts are having a bit of a comeback
at the moment so what a world what a world yeah um anyways uh the stimulus package is trending biden
uh it's kind of been two stories one biden's pushing it
through without like giving in to like the gop was like yeah we we'd approve it with like a third
of the dollar total and he was like well i don't really need y'all so fuck off uh and but now also
he said he has said that he's open to lowering the total dollar figure
of the package uh by targeting the uh payments the direct payments to a smaller group of people
so basically like uh less people get the money yeah less people get the money fun um yeah very
very cool very cool do they take into account the
cost of living where you are?
Or is it just... No. I don't think
they do at all. Yeah, because it was just like $75, right?
For the first one?
It's just flat across the board.
Yeah.
Anyways, hopefully he doesn't get too
both-sidesy on it.
But he is
Joe Biden.
He is Lunch Pail Joe.
I was going to say.
Who knows? Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho.
Vision is trending because people are comparing Lil Uzi Vert to him
because he got a, this feels like a fake story that we're gonna find out it's like been
gassed up by his publicist but uh allegedly he got a 24 million dollar gem embedded in his forehead
no way was that thing 24 million dollars i just i could not that's the part i meant that's just
like that's some cubic zirconia look i Look, I took my magnifying glass to the screen.
I was real close.
You know, I'm just saying.
There's no pink diamond.
Yeah.
They say the best way to enjoy a diamond's magnificence and luster is through a computer screen with a magnifying glass.
So it sounds like you're an're an expert i have a really
really good computer screen yeah that's true you do uh one of the greats uh best best computer
uh the this is really uh dangerous like why would you just put $24 million on your person,
advertise it to the world,
and it be a thing that they have to cut out of your head?
Seems inadvisable,
but maybe that's what makes it such a flex,
is he's like, come at me.
Yeah, exactly.
Come at my forehead, truly.
Yeah. I'm not looking
forward to the first time that he had bangs and it just like projectiles off of his forehead and
then like 10 security people run scrambling right it's gonna be head bangs i thought you said the
first time he had bangs oh no yeah i was like damn when are you talking well that was that was a
couple years ago and they looked great. Yeah, he did look good.
He looked great.
I thought this.
I for sure thought Vision was trending because of WandaVision.
WandaVision, right?
Yeah.
Morgan Wallen is trending.
Yes.
This is somebody who my brain has reacted negatively to,
like an amputated limb that my uh my body is rejecting i am there you go
uh there's he was trending earlier in the year uh because he's a country singer he was supposed to
go on snl uh but was caught partying uh his maskless face off in alabama right days before
his appearance and So chill.
They were like, hey, man, we don't want you here.
Hey, man, no.
Yeah.
So he has since, in classic SNL fashion,
they did let him come on eventually.
They were like, you've learned your lesson, Donald Trump,
Morgan Wallen.
And then he released an album that like breaking all sorts of streaming records and is very very popular um and he has now been dropped from his label uh
for shouting the n-word at a friend on the streets of uh nashville i believe. So I guess the world is not going to stop until I know this asshole's name.
And I don't know, man.
Unfortunately, for a moment.
Yeah.
But let's let's hope that's the end of it.
One would hope.
One would hope.
We'll see if any of these labels stick to their morals.
Yeah.
Britney Spears was trending because her social media manager just came out.
This is one of those stories where I clearly am not up on the latest hot goss.
So her social media manager came out and just debunking all these uh things that didn't were not things i needed
debunked personally like so my my understanding the britney spears social media thing is she
is using her social media feed to send messages saying i am being held basically against my will by this conservatorship and, uh, please help me.
Um,
and the social media manager,
she came out and was like,
well,
here's the thing that you guys are wrong about.
Uh,
she does post her own tweets and Instagram posts.
and that was always part of the thing.
I assumed that she did and i assumed like the
story doesn't make sense if she doesn't i guess there was a contingent of uh free britney gang
uh that believed that a social media manager was like interfering and uh her social media manager uh came out and said not interfering
britney has always been in control of her her gram and then what's your job i mean you know
not to nitpick here but it's like she does all her own stuff it's like what do you do
but anyway i digress um and then she says britney is not asking for help or leaving secret messages
in her social media she's literally just living her life and trying to have fun on instagram but
she does like post a picture of britney and is like worrying posts like this might make you think
she's asking for help but she's not but she is posting all of the things you thought she was posting.
It just seemed like, I don't know,
a non-denial denial
on that specific
detail. This is like the
LA COVID rules of a
Instagram post. Denial, right.
She's not, she isn't okay,
but she is posting that stuff, and it is
cryptic, but it's not cryptic.
She's just having fun. It's not me, even though I am her social media manager but it's not cryptic she's just posting it it's not me even though i am her social media manager she's having fun she's also posting it but i'm
still here yeah she called the posts concerning or cryptic and then said they were posted by her
and then said she's not asking for help or leaving secret messages. She's just having fun.
They are concerning and cryptic.
And you should be concerned.
But she's just having fun.
So everybody just get over it.
Very strange.
Wow.
Very strange.
But shout out to Brittany.
Free Brittany.
She is well.
Free Brittany.
Yeah. And that is some she is well. Free Brittany. Yeah.
And that is some of the stuff that's trending here on this Wednesday afternoon.
Oh, we did it.
We did it.
I don't even know what accent that was supposed to be from me.
We are back tomorrow with the whole last episode of the show.
Until then, be kind to each other be kind to yourselves wear
a mask wash your hands stay inside
don't do nothing about white supremacy
and we'll talk to you all tomorrow bye
peace
