Kay hasn't heard from her sister
in seven years.
I have a proposal for you.
Come up here and document my project.
All you need to do is record everything like you always do.
What was that?
That was live audio of a woman's nightmare.
Can Kay trust her sister, or is history repeating itself?
There's nothing dangerous about what you're doing.
They're just dreams.

Hello, the internet, and
welcome to Trends
starring Trendifer Aniston
and Fat LeBlanc.
That is courtesy of
Dr. Studley Batman.
Shout out to Dr.
Studley Blatman.
Alright, let's tell the people miles what's
trending uh this is we're we're going through this a second time because i forgot to hit record
because uh it's the end of the week my brain has all stopped working so omar jimenez is trending
uh he is a cnn reporter who was arrested on camera, live on CNN, by Minneapolis police for no reason other than being there covering what was happening at 5 in the morning.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Omar Jimenez is a person of color.
The one person on the CNN crew they didn't arrest was the white reporter.
Ah.
So that's that's just a coincidence because you know uh racism doesn't exist as we've seen over the last uh 1776 and
plus it was called 400 years um so i think with you know this one like it was interesting because
the the it was like very it was like the most cordial arrest I had ever seen.
I'm like, all right, we're cuffing you.
He's like, okay.
And he was released fairly quickly right after the governor basically had told.
Yeah, the governor had to intervene.
Yeah, had to call Jeff Zucker at CNN and be like, that arrest was, quote, inadvertent and unacceptable.
And then he was, dude, he was back on tv like right away but
it was just jarring to see because that's the kind of shit you see in like i mean the countries
america always pretends it isn't where you would just kind of see like coverage or accountability
journal or something just near police where potentially some kind of showdown could happen
and it's like we're arresting you sorry that this doesn't need to make sense because we make the rules.
Yeah.
We just don't want you and your cameras around for this,
which I mean,
eventually we're going to get to that point where this stuff happens.
Cause we're,
we're already,
you know,
like we're just doing like diet autocracy,
you know,
masquerading as like representative democracy kind of.
I mean,
you want to see how how
bad that shit can get just re-elect trump right because if he he gets re-elected people are like
i can't imagine how i think i even said this i can't imagine like how uh he could be any like
more like feel more authorized and like empowered to do whatever the fuck he wants yeah that that will
he will paint all new colors of autocracy in this country yeah re-elected and it was funny jabuki
had a tweet last night that was saying like all right which one of these countries is going to
come and establish democracy in the united states that's so good like it's hey same thing's happening when we were like oh we we need to
we need to do something about it you said you were watching uh you were watching unicorn riot
last night the unicorn riot live stream is i think really fantastic work that nico was doing last
night on there just talking to people he he tries as best as he can to like respect the anonymity of
the people there but sometimes you know it's hard when you're just in gigantic crowds but
the scenes in minneapolis were unbelievable you know when the third precinct fell to the
protesters and to see just abandoned it yeah it was uh you're like it's so weird it's so bittersweet you're like
fuck yeah like show show these fucking people like what happens when you keep just keep it up
because there are a lot of us too and we are angry and then the other part is it's we have to come to
this point every time like it there's so much could have happened
before this. Like so many, so many people let things slip to the point where it got here.
And the momentum was just building too much that this is where, you know, this is the point
that we're at, but yeah, unicorn, right. Great follow, especially for, you know,
a lot of this stuff that's going around in this country with a lot of protests and things yeah trump is refusing to answer questions currently uh in the rose garden
about his uh his tweet looting leads to shooting tweet so okay uh
space force is trending thank god that's that just dropped on Netflix. Is it supposed to be good?
I don't care.
I don't need to know.
I just like Tawny Newsome, who's been on the show from Yo's Is Racist.
I love Tawny Newsome.
I think, you know.
I love Steve Carell.
I love, although like Michael Scott is the exact kind of white person we should never want to be.
Right.
You know, like in terms of if you're looking at yourself and like, who the heck is funny?
And that's why we need that character. Yeah. Yeah. want to be. In terms of if you're looking at yourself and you're like, he's funny.
Yeah, but I think some
people also think of, use Michael
Scott as a way to excuse other people's ignorance.
To be like, but he's harmless. And it's like
no, but you need to let them know.
Okay? If they're truly harmless
then tell them so then they can actually be harmless.
If the office had ended with him
taking over the country and like
being responsible for the deaths of millions that would have been probably less popular, but realistic.
Again, I'm in airplane mode.
Everything is good.
Yeah.
I love everything.
I haven't hated anything I've seen.
And I watched a lot of Married at First Sight, the latest season, this week.
So Chauvin or Chalvin, the name of the cop who murdered George Floyd,
is trending because he was finally arrested.
Yep.
Charged with third degree murder yeah
charged with murder third degree murder and manslaughter and yeah we're just waiting to
see what they charge the other cops with there's there was a new uh photograph that i hadn't seen
before from a new angle that shows that there were two other cops kneeling on him just behind the car
and then the one like asian american officer just with just back turn just standing there
it's kind of like yeah bystander uh-huh uh it's it's really just to know that that is a scene of
just a group killing basically uh it's yeah so yeah daylight in front of everybody yeah so that's that's trending and a
lot of people uh you know rightly or like also now talking about amy klobuchar too because you know
she had a few opportunities to prosecute some cases dealing with his just police brutality
essentially with specifically his yeah with him like she could have stopped him. But, you know, I think the defense is like, well, back then we just did.
It was a kind of a thing that it was bad and we shouldn't do anymore.
And that's kind of why I'm I'm done with politicians who aren't able to actually speak truth to power and stand up for what is right and what is morally obligated from someone like that in that moment. If you're fine, like you can't say you're for justice and then turn
your eye to something because then it makes it hot for you with the policeman's union and things
like that, then don't be DA and let these others come and don't try and ever run for an honorable
office. If you're going to, if you really want to take those duties on, like really protect these people out here. And so a lot of people are now, you know,
re scrutinizing her record and things like that, because she was potentially a very
big favorite to be one of Joe Biden's running mates.
Yeah, I I have to hope for the future of America and the future of the Democratic Party that
that is no longer the case that that's
no longer even being considered and i think it's important to like why i'm so not interested in
this style of politician and this level of commitment to truly what racial justice is
or economic justice is because i mean we can take it to Joe Biden, Joe Biden.
We can talk about these crime bills and how he was like codifying the law to say that
black people are like, let's just let's make it open season to incarcerate people of color
in this country.
That is also someone's worldview who I absolutely disagree with.
And even if you held it and say, oh, that was bad.
There were people back then who were like, this is absolutely despicable. And unfortunately,
those people may have evolved a little bit quicker than other people, but that's the mindset of
person who I feel like I can trust because I look at Amy Klobuchar and I'm like, oh, she seems fine.
From all I see, I'm like, that's fine.
But then when you hear that, this is also, again, I talk about being a node in a system as energy
passes through. She had a moment where she could have stopped the momentum of white supremacy
right there. She could have, and then she let it go. And guess what? The momentum started building
to the point where this man's life is gone now and other people were shot and so
that's why a lot of especially minority voters from any minority i mean any demographic that
is considered the minority has a lot of problems with these politicians of the status quo politician
because this they all they've stood for is to let us, our lives go by the wayside.
Yeah, man.
I don't know if you, a lot of people heard the you ain't black part of the Joe Biden, Charlamagne interview,
but there was also some, Charlamagne was doing a good job.
He asked him about the crime bill,
and Joe Biden's just complete inability to like encounter that in any way that choppo
trap house did a good just kind of beat by beat like looked at five of the questions and biden's
answers and how like wildly comedically inadequate they were i mean the only thing that i would have
maybe began to turn like or not even i'm not my opinion is probably pretty solid on joe biden but like
if he had said something to say like to know that i had a hand in the decimation of a generation
of people and i was i stood at the wheel of a ship of white supremacy and i didn't crash it
into the rocks that i said full speed ahead, it sickens me.
And I don't know, I couldn't possibly do anything in my life to correct that.
But I can do everything now to try and do that and fully understand that I was literally the problem.
Saying something like that, I would be like, whoa.
But then again, politicians are slick.
They'll say something like that and they'll go right back to being like,
well, we need to cut some budgets there because those schools can't get built
in that part of town because we need to build the third precinct.
You know what I mean?
That would be the right answer to that question.
And instead, he was like, nah, it wasn't bad.
It wasn't bad.
You ain't black.
It's like, what?
Uh-huh.
Oh, boy.
And then Mark Zuckerberg is trending. I'm just going to read the headline from the shovel. You ain't black. It's like, what? Oh, boy.
And then Mark Zuckerberg is trending.
I'm just going to read the headline from the shovel.
Mark Zuckerberg, dead at 36,
says social media sites should not fact-check posts.
First paragraph.
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg,
who died of coronavirus and is California home today,
says it is not Facebook's role to be the arbiter of truth for everything people post online.
So shout out to Mark Zuckerberg, RIP.
What a piece of shit.
Wow.
I mean, the real like galaxy, right?
You should be like, well, no, that's dangerous. But you would start getting like the Q anon people onto some weird shitty conspiracy theory
about mark zuckerberg and then when that starts proliferating on there then he'll be like
because i think right now he the thing he's he just sees this as people trolling him
for what he's doing and he's like okay that's fine but event but the thing he's not realizing is
it's this little shit that gets out of control. And eventually you're getting,
you know,
people with malicious intent,
looking up your address and shit like that.
And the failure to see that is so fucking,
again,
so much has happened in the last few days.
I can't even,
I don't even know where to start.
It really is.
It's been a week.
It's been,
yeah,
I don't know what to say at this point but that is
that is the week that we just had miles it's been a pleasure talking to you about it yeah uh you
guys thank you for listening to us yeah thank you for listening stay safe stay sane do donate money

Please bring awareness to yourself and those around you.
At a bare minimum.
That's going to do it for this week.
