This is the down laboratory show with this two got spot cast. for details. Last night was a cool moment for my personal sports fandom. As you know, I'm no longer a browns fan and you'll be happy to know that while a lot of people were having their fun making passes at me on social media saying as soon as you leave They're they're good. I was happy for the the season that the Browns had and I have plenty of friends that are Browns fans
Starting point is 00:01:12 I can understand why anyone stayed being a Browns fan, but in watching that game I felt nothing and I didn't feel frustration I wanted the Browns to win just because I like players on that team, but as soon as Joe Flacco started to turn the ball over the way that he adds the entire time there, I didn't feel anything. I thought it was pretty cool that CJ Strauss looks so good, but there was a bit of fandom that crept in and it crept in on Monday night when Baker Mayfield played the Philadelphia Eagles. And I know our show is doing whatever the other national show is doing, which is making this about the Eagles losing.
Starting point is 00:01:46 But Baker may feel that if you watch a game, maybe through two bad passes, he could have easily had a 400 yard passing game. Three touchdowns, no interceptions with a team that we all know isn't very good. He went from the Carolina Panthers, forcing him to play D-Line on the scout team, hanging the dirt. There's photos of it online. To be jettisoned by a terrible Carolina Panther team, to having a cool spot start with the LA Rams. And we all just assume this is yet another number one overall draft pick that busted out. Maybe he can have a career as a backup. And now, they're talking about big money for Baker Mayfield
Starting point is 00:02:25 because he not only won a division, he took down the defending NFC champion, Philadelphia Eagles, thirdly outplayed Jalen Hertz in the process, and is now on his way to Detroit in the second round. A moment of appreciation for Baker Mayfield, changing narratives. And in the face of eight head coaches
Starting point is 00:02:43 and a very short career, pulling this thing around to being a desired commodity he's good he's got the goods and I felt very good for him last night It is an unusual thing to say and I was talking yesterday and we got a lot of people writing in an assortment of things that I Said about two a yesterday because This is one comment of the sort that I received. I love Dan for years, saying how athletes have to have a rational confidence to reach the highest level of sports,
Starting point is 00:03:12 but now two, it needs to be self-aware and take less money to stay with the dolphins. Not what I said. This is what I said and what I will continue to say, and Baker Mayfield is a good example of it. Baker Mayfield, and I remember telling Mike this in the desperation of the Browns were all in the way the Dolphins were all in this year. They were playing for right then with Odell Beckham and Baker kept trying to show a loyalty
Starting point is 00:03:38 to his teammates and the team that was not returned. And he was playing injured and playing injured wasn't buying him anything because he was less than in a contract year, I believe. He was less than he would have been if he had just sat. And he was about this close, this close to being a career back up when he went to another shitty organization that is not run correctly in Carolina and almost had his career evaporate very early because of both trying to play hurt and then trying to find his way back through organizations that couldn't support him.
Starting point is 00:04:14 Tuah has an organization that is built around him. I'm not advising and never advise anybody to take less money if that's what they want from life, but do not underestimate what it is to be with a competent organization because an incompetent one will sink you. And the one he was with in Carolina decided that Bryce Young was better than CJ Stroud. And it's so delicate that stuff because Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield were in the same position there and an organization will sink you even if you're skilled. I don't know if Zach Wilson can play. I know the Jets ain't helping.
Starting point is 00:04:57 Like whatever it is that's happening over there isn't built to support a young quarterback going through it. It's why the Packers sit guys at the beginning because it's a really hard position to play and if you're young, if you're not otherwise mature at life and the organization doesn't know how to support you and the moment you go in the tank, your head coach is calling a local media guy to protect his own ass. You get into a situation where your entire career can fall apart. It is amazing that Baker Mayfield has figured his way out of that muck, but he had to go to Sean McVeigh to start his way out.
Starting point is 00:05:36 He wasn't going to do it in Carolina. Carolina almost threw him into an even deeper hole. I don't know what Baker Mayfield's going to get, but he has revolutionized whatever it is we thought of him. Because if you watch Baker Mayfield this year, and especially at the beginning, Stu got's good. God, what is it? Hard for that offense to get down the field. Like third, he were trying to get just into third and fourth so they could get the six yards down the field. And then toward the end of the season, they go into Green Bay and drag Jordan Love and the Packers
Starting point is 00:06:06 and they look like the best team in that division. Well, the game, they clinched the playoffs with, they won that game nine to nothing, but you're right. You got off to a bad start. He had a really good, good, good, good. He's been banged up lately. The totality of the season was great for Baker, make field, over 4,000 yards, 28 touchdowns.
Starting point is 00:06:19 I think 11 intercepts. He had a really good year. And looking back at that performance at Lambo, I know we touched on it last week, but that was when the packer started figuring things out. And he put up a perfect pass rating over there. So Todd Bowles and Baker Mayfield actually gave you the blueprint on how to separate yourself from Tom Brady
Starting point is 00:06:37 more than Bill Bellichek could. Because Todd Bowles, a year removed from the greatest quarterback ever walking away in semi-surprising fashion. He got a former number one draft pick who had been on a deserted island of misfit toys and he makes the playoffs. Yes, I understand.
Starting point is 00:06:53 Week division. He just took down the Philadelphia Eagles and he's on to the second round. Todd Bulls winning playoff games without Todd Brady. Stugots mentioned during the break he was talking to Cody and he's like, I need Tampa Bay in the Super Bowl just so that i can call it uh... their coach super bulls talking still that if you also uh... stugots uh... wants to remind everyone that the only coach presently coaching in the playoffs with zero pressure on him
Starting point is 00:07:21 is toad bull nobody cares no one knows Todd Boles. If they do know Todd Boles, they don't care about Todd Boles. That's not true. They don't know. Blackhead coaches in that league coach with a pressure that none of us can understand. Because the second you lose an important game,
Starting point is 00:07:38 they're looking for the next white guy. Mike, if Tampa does nothing else this season, Todd Boles has had a great season. There is zero pressure here on Todd Boles. Zero. Cody and Stugat have a pressure meter for us at quarterback. How many quarterbacks are on this pressure meter? Eight left in.
Starting point is 00:07:55 The final eight. Okay, I didn't know whether it was eight or five. Stugat's are less than normally five. This is not five, Liz. Yeah, we listed all the quarterbacks, the remaining quarterbacks. You know, playoff time, Greg and I love to get together. We talk about pressure who has the most amount of pressure on them, who has the least amount of pressure. So we have the eight remaining quarterbacks and who has the most pressure, who has the least pressure?
Starting point is 00:08:17 Number eight, this is both of you. It's both of you combining for the rare top eight list. It's a shared list. We'll go back and forth. Greg will start us off with number eights. Number eight, Baker Mayfield. No pressure whatsoever. Hold on a sec. Tampa. Hold on a sec. What?
Starting point is 00:08:35 What? There. It feels better when you're. Baker Mayfield. Zero pressure. Hold on. You need to get the timing on this, right? Let's try it again.
Starting point is 00:08:43 Yeah, and on the fly, I just got some music for it, and everything needs music. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Baker Mayfield. It's a timing so bad. Hey, music, I'm using that sound, not the music.
Starting point is 00:08:58 Debuting for the first time, the Stugots and Cody, combined the merger of top eight quarterbacks with the most pressure on them. Number eight. Baker Mayfield. Baker Mayfield has already won the playoffs. He doesn't have to do anything else. Plus Tampa just won the Super Bowl a few years ago. So they're not a starving fan base. They're all happy. They're thrilled to be here. They win the NFC South. They're a long shot. He's already won. Baker Mayfield has already won the playoffs. Put it on the pole.
Starting point is 00:09:31 Play. Ju-ju has Baker Mayfield already won the playoffs. Number seven. Thank you. CJ Stroud. Rookie quarterback. What want to face them, but a rookie quarterback, no one thought the Texans would be here, no one thought they'd make it to the playoffs, certainly no one thought they'd make it to the second round. CJ gets to go to Baltimore, he gets to take off the Mar Jackson, everyone's expecting Lamar to win, no one expecting anything from CJ, he's done enough.
Starting point is 00:09:59 CJ strouder at number seven. The only pressure he faces is named Jadavian Clowney. And I think he's got even less pressure than Baker. Baker's a free agent. He's still playing for money. Number six. Jordan Love. He just kicked the ass of America's team.
Starting point is 00:10:18 He has already won the playoffs as well. Eight weeks ago. How can they both win the playoffs? It's his last. Same confidence, too. It's the time. Only one of them. No, they both won the playoffs.
Starting point is 00:10:29 Just try to change up the stuff you're saying. They both won the playoffs. What can I tell you? Jordan Love, eight weeks ago, people weren't sure about Jordan Love. Is he the guy? Is he the guy to replace Aaron Rogers? Eight weeks later, nobody's saying that he's on a tear. Jordan Love is as hot as any quarterback in the NFL at just the right time all the
Starting point is 00:10:48 sudden Green Bay loves love number five Patrick Mahomes good this night on that last one Greg Danny's never played a road playoff game he will play one this weekend in Buffalo Patrick Mahomes do it on the road pressure it's also because he won the most recent legacy game. Tony called that a legacy game before. And he made it happen. They struggled in the Red Zone, which we'll get to.
Starting point is 00:11:12 Number four. Number four, Jared Goff. Detroit is swooning. Detroit has never been happier. Detroit has already won the playoffs. They haven't won anything in 33 years. Whatever it's been in Jared golf now has the crown on his head. He's the king of Detroit. Number three. Brock Purtie. blah blah, do it in the postseason. I am tired of hearing Brock Birdie MVP candidate, Brock Birdie this, Brock Birdie that. Do me a favor, win a playoff game.
Starting point is 00:11:49 In fact, win two, make it to a Super Bowl. Number two. Lamar Jackson. Another guy who's already won the playoffs. Okay, Lamar? Listen, no, he is. He's a big fan. He's been losing the first week, but he didn't play. Yeah, no, he is. He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time.
Starting point is 00:12:05 He's been playing for a long time. Okay, Lamar. Listen, no, he is. He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time.
Starting point is 00:12:13 He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time.
Starting point is 00:12:21 He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time. He's been playing for a long time. He's got second most pressure on it. He's got plenty to prove. This is where your dad starts to fall apart. Like when we get into the fourth hour of doing show, this is when we lose it. I know, a little long time. L Jack. Greg's Lobos.
Starting point is 00:12:38 You can make it argument he has the most amount of pressure on him this post. Who won? Who won? Number one. Josh Allen. So you dare let Patrick Mahomes walk into your stadium and beat you at your stadium. You would agree with that code. Yeah. I do. Yeah. It's a shared list. Yeah. Starting point is 00:14:12 defense against my ability to do this show because what are you laughing at? You're just laughing. Honey Boo Boo is embroiled in controversy. It's funny to me. Sorry. Still gots. He couldn't stop laughing just looking at the picture of honey Boo Boo. That doesn't sound healthy. It's a his laugh. We'm your friend. We can't make him laugh like that. Starting point is 00:14:53 This is the Don Lebatar Show with his two gods. He's a four time NBA All-Star. He's a gold medalist. And now he's the co-host along with Rachel Nichols of the podcast, Bully Ball. It is part of the metal art media family as part of our new partnership with all the smoke productions. Happy to see Buggie always admired his work. Thought he was revolutionizing the game really at his size being able to shoot inside and
Starting point is 00:15:22 outside was a little before his time actually being able to do some of that stuff. And always appreciated that he seemed to always be himself even though there was a lot of media pressure sort of bouncing against him, making it seem like uncomfortable from where I was watching. So, Boogie, thank you for being on with us. I wanna call you DeMarcus, but I don't know.
Starting point is 00:15:45 Who calls you Boogie and who calls you DeMarcus? Like, how does that work in your life with your family and with your friends? Man, I'm a man of many names. You know, my mom has a name for me. My wife has a name for me. Obviously, I'm dad to the kids. So, I'm a man of many names.
Starting point is 00:16:01 So, whatever, you know, whatever you're comfortable with, I'm cool with it, you know. Forgive my ignorant here. I don't know the origin story of how you became Buggy. Like how, what is the backstory there? Backstory behind that is my time I can tell you at the time the legend, Rosh, Strickling, played many years in the NBA.
Starting point is 00:16:20 He was my assistant, one of the assistants at the time. So the way I played coming in my freshman year, I was just kind of spoke on it. I was a big that shot the ball from the outside. I handled the ball a lot. I could pass. It was a lot of different layers to my game. And you know, straight we used to turn,
Starting point is 00:16:40 book, like guys with a lot of crafting, there's a lot of, you know, elucidance or whatever the case may be when they got a good spark to their game. Or some spunk to their game, we use the term book. Like you got book in your game, you got book in your game. So obviously, the street referred to me in that manner and you know, the name bookie came alive and it just stuck. The fans at UK, they started referring to me as bookie and you know, the marker slowly crept out the door and the bookie became my household name.
Starting point is 00:17:12 So that's kind of how that started for me. You were nodding your head when I was talking about sort of the way the media bounced off of you. Can you tell me through your experience, what your greatest frustrations were with how you were covered? My biggest frustration was it was more so always the negative things. If anything negative happened in Sacramento at the time, no matter if it was something at the top of the organization or a new owner or new GM or a new coach for the next season.
Starting point is 00:17:48 It always seemed to fall back in my lap. I just never understood that because it would be one thing if I actually had the responsibility of being able to pick these coaches or GMs or even so having a say so and it didn't work. It would not make more sense, but I was usually addicted to the situation just like everybody else on the team, but for the most part it would always end up in my hands, or I was the guy responsible for all these negative things
Starting point is 00:18:18 happening in Sacramento. Obviously, I kind of made that excuse easy. I didn't handle every situation with it. I've always been the emotional God, where I've always worn my emotions on my sleeves. And when I played the game of ball, I was very expressive. That's just how I played the game. So with that being said, it kind of made it easy for me
Starting point is 00:18:41 to become that target. But at the end of the day, those people knew my intentions, those people knew my heart, they knew my mindset, every night coming into the game, my mindset, every season coming in, and I've spoken this on the show before, when it comes to this business, and things start to go different than the goal, the blame game comes into play. I was usually the case with my years there. And like I said, for some reason, everything that went wrong inside the middle of the interview, falling on my shoulders or in my hands.
Starting point is 00:19:14 And like I said, it was just the easy. I felt like I was escaped, go with a lot of issues at the time. And I felt like those issues obviously overruled any positive things that I was doing within the organization or even just trying to stay relevant as an organization. That was usually my biggest issue with the media coverage and the things that happened during my time there. I wanted to be more so celebrated for the things I did on the floor compared to the things that happened during my time there. And I wanted to be more socialized for the things I did on the floor
Starting point is 00:19:47 compared to the things that was happening around me. And that just wasn't the case. What came with Stardom that you were totally unprepared for, that you had no idea was coming with Stardom? You had to become comfortable. And I've been on record stand before in the past. Like I never wanted to be the famous guy. I never wanted to be in the lime light or that just wasn't,
Starting point is 00:20:11 that wasn't my personality and that wasn't my character. Like I'm gonna try to do my job every single night but as far as being pushed, just being a star, this celebrity and things of that nature, that just wasn't who I was. And that part falls on my side. That's something that I had to figure out and handle better, which I never did at the time.
Starting point is 00:20:34 But, you know, I was a young kid coming into this business. I was figuring out things on the fly. And a lot of things just wasn't put in place for me to succeed. And on top of me, just making mistakes I did as a young kid. But that was probably one of my biggest struggles coming into the league. It was just learning how to handle Starlight. And it was just something I never really became comfortable with. But you know, you live and you learn. Bully Ball with Rachel Nichols and Buggie is the podcast. It's on the DraftKings Network
Starting point is 00:21:10 Monday, 7 p.m. Eastern and all the Smoke Productions channel on YouTube. Kevin Garnett, famous for talking a lot of gibberish on the court, trash talk. Did he do that with you? Do you have a story or did he know better to not do that with you? I actually do have a casual story and this... Skydum, it's time to plenty of it all. Came around full circle. It also involved Raja Rondon, who ended up being my, you know, my better.
Starting point is 00:21:41 So, this is when they were teammates at the time with Boston, you know, Boston was on their run. They were super good. They had a championship at the time. And we were playing Boston in Sacramento. And KG was, you know, talking some trash. I mean, I believe this was either, this might have been my rookie season.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Actually, either my rookie season on my second season. Anyway, you know, KG was kind of talking and strashing. We were having worse kind of back and forth and it was one specific play where the ball kind of hit the sidelines and we kind of both went for the ball and, you know, KG kind of dove forward and he ended up on the floor. So I called myself, you know, kind of being big and bad at the time and talking, continuing to talk trash to KG. I stood on, said a couple words on him and I didn't know where a racer kind of comes and he pushes me out the way. So now me and racer aren't starting to have words. And, you know, KG didn't
Starting point is 00:22:41 get some of the floor and he continues to bark at me and then I realized like, damn, it's a two on one situation. And I kind of, you know, back down a little bit. So I believe I ended up getting the technical foul for it. And I was the only one to receive a text while the other two guys didn't. So that moment always kind of stuck out to me. That always happened by the end.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Damn, that was weird. Like, you're... Are you watching the same game as me? Yeah, but that's the thing. Yeah, I'm like, I mean, this was like a three guy situation while I'm not only one getting the tech, right? So that moment always stuck to me. And then that moment, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:23:23 that I can't be talking shit to eat veterans and be superstars in the league, or he's gonna be the results of. So that was always a funny story with me, but long story short, full circle moment, raising hands up becoming my teammate. You know, we laugh about that moment and he's one of the guys that's helped me
Starting point is 00:23:42 throughout my career, even till this day. That's a guy I can call and get any type of advice from. It's a guy in respect. His voice, I respect his knowledge, his IQ at a game. I mean, his career speaks for itself, so I don't have to do all that. But it's just funny that things happen the way they do and life comes around for a circle. So that was a dumb moment. Tim Duncan is an understated trash talker. Do you have a Tim Duncan story for us young fella? Man Tim Duncan was the the first guy in his lead that just absolutely come. He was the first guy to help me realize that my shit does thing.
Starting point is 00:24:25 Uh, but Tim Duncan isn't much of a triathlon. At least not to my knowledge. He was at the point in this career. You know, Tim was, you know, on the curve, but, you know, the down part of his career. And, uh, still a very, very, very good player in those years, but it wasn't the prime Tim Duncan that we were used to seeing. So at that point, Tim wasn't really talking. He just, you know, Tim was kind of going through the motion
Starting point is 00:24:51 and just making sure it happened. But it was another home game in Sacramento. And, you know, Tim Duncan had this thing where he went to take a shot. He would grab your, he would grab your shoulder with his left hand and block it with his right hand. So that's he used to frustrate the hell out of me because they would never call it. And with him doing that, it would prevent you from being able to lift or get the shot on. So I'm frustrated to this hill because he just keeps doing it over and over
Starting point is 00:25:22 and over and over and over and the rest aren and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over keeping it who I want to tell Tim about itself. Like, yeah, I'm busting your ass, Tim, yeah. Tim just looks at me with this regular look. Like, just looks at me and just kind of shakes it and never responds to them. So I continue to talk shit to him. Still, no response he just looks at it. So, they were going into the fourth and Tim ran off like 16, 18 points straight.
Starting point is 00:26:10 And I'm still caught up in the past, past, thinking that I'm having this great game. And I'm not even realizing that I can't even get a f*** stop on this. So, one of my teammates at the time like, cause you gotta do a better job, big family guy, getting you gotta do your work early. I'm like, I got this shit, not the best. So it was just this moment where I'm realizing like, am like, this dude is kicking your ass
Starting point is 00:26:40 and you so caught up in trying to talk shit and prove it, point that the point is going over my own head. So I was a quick moment for me to just, you know, be humble, realize, like, man, this is bad dudes in this league and you're not the baddest thing to walk. Have I, obviously Tim Duncan, Tim Duncan's career speaks for itself as well.
Starting point is 00:27:01 It's a guy that I, you know, I really value and I don't think he gets the credit and flowers that he deserves for the credit he's had. A guy that's one at every single level. I don't think Kim Bunga's ever had a losing season. And that's something crazy to say with how competitive this league is. And like I said, he just doesn't get the credit he deserves for the career that he had. How about Joke it? Does he talk trash?
Starting point is 00:27:27 Oh, no, no, no. Yeah. You've never seen anything like that, correct? Have you ever seen something that any basketball player who does that? What, what Yoke is done? Yes. All of it. No, we, we, I think the closest thing we've seen to a player like
Starting point is 00:27:45 Yoke, which is the guy, we were just speaking about it. That's Tim Duncan, not saying they have the same playing style, but as far as the same demeanor and how they go about the game, I think that's as close as you'll get to comparing anybody with those two guys. So, Yoke is just a generation of talent. He's a one of one. We'll probably never see a talent at that position like that again.
Starting point is 00:28:10 And the game just comes so easy for him. It's crazy to say. I mean, night after night, no matter who he's playing, no matter who he's facing, the game just seems to come easy and effortless for this guy. So, you know, he's definitely gonna be one of the, once he hangs it up, once he hangs his shoes up, he'll go down as one of the greatest ever,
Starting point is 00:28:31 you know, touch a basketball and that's a, and that's facts, that's just a fact. Less than a minute left, Stan Van Gundy told us the story one time of yelling at Dwight Howard for not getting a rebound against Peckovick and Dwight Howard yelled back at Stan, you don't understand he's the strongest man in the world. You were known as being physically very strong.
Starting point is 00:28:52 Give me a guy where you were like, holy shit, this is strength I have not seen before. Oh, that man. First guy comes to mind is Ben Wallace and it was and it's crazy. It was at the end it was towards the end of his career as well Rookie season, I mean, I match over this guy and it was like it was I felt like I was a child like Nothing I did no matter how hard I thought like It was just like kind of moving me around with one arm or just like his wrist or fingers just like kind of moving me around with one arm or just like his wrist or his fingers. It was sick, bro. I've never met him in that storm.
Starting point is 00:29:32 Ben Wallace is, he might not be from here. Honestly, he might not be from this planet. Buggie, thank you for being on with us. Gonna enjoy the partnerships, sir, and gonna enjoy your work with Rachel Nichols. Happy to have you on board, sir. Good talking to you. Your turn.
Starting point is 00:29:51 I appreciate you, Dan. It was a pleasure. Don LeBotard. Many of you, by the way, are writing in, and you're saying, Dan, quit being so mean to co-hosts that you always deem incompetent. That's the formula, man. Me being mean to the co-hosts that you always deem incompetent. That's the formula, man. Me being mean to the co-host is what allows Stugots
Starting point is 00:30:09 to take a very wealthy vacation right now. Stugots. It's a winning position for everyone, but me. Have you guys not figured this out yet? That's the whole thing. It's me being rotten straight, man, as everyone else gets to be incompetent. And I yell at them for being incompetent.
Starting point is 00:30:23 And here's the miracle of it. And it's the magic el magic elixir bad which is the only thing Greg Cody can be becomes good and lovable and it's because standing next to obnoxious strident me makes everyone look that way. Yeah and the brush with death helped. Yeah that was planned by me the whole thing was contrived. He's the done libertar show with his two gods. I've got a problem here, Stu got in that Tony says he has got a giant, a monumental MMA hangout announcement, but I don't generally trust Tony's judgment. And I don't know if, what was that sound? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:31:02 I should, Mike, should I trust Tony's judgment? No, I think you should. Chris Cody, are you of the belief that I should trust Tony's judgment? Let my man cook. All right, let's hear, let's Tony, go ahead, Tony, cook. Excellent news for everybody who is an MMA hangout fan and who loves the show here locally in South Florida.
Starting point is 00:31:22 The MMA hangout is going through a bit of a restructuring in that our streamed show where we do every paper view for the UFC is actually going on the road. So we will be live from the tourists in coconut grove for UFC 297 and every paper view after that, we'll be at another spot locally in Miami that you can come hang out with us, watch the show, we will still be streaming on YouTube, but it will be live happening in person with people, with maybe people from the show, I invite be streaming on youtube but it will be live happening in person with people with maybe people from the show invite everybody to come out and hang out
Starting point is 00:31:48 so a big deal the torus on saturday card starts at ten will be there early watching some of the playoff games earlier on torus coconut grove we love them love i did that the entire hospitality group so we're hanging out uh... for the mma hangout january twenty-a-th you got some some mile the pause from lucy in the background it's like yawning in difference from
Starting point is 00:32:07 everyone else i think i want to be there i don't want to be there unless i'm doing something else but i think that's a big announcement it's an actual mma hangout as opposed to just calling it in mma hangout uh... lucy mma fans are part of of my favorite group of people. Lucy is a very supportive teammate. Lucy is the outfit bothering you at all because I'm not sure that this costume has been as punishing as some of the other costumes we've had your white lotus costume.
Starting point is 00:32:40 Now Dan, it's a little uncomfortable, but I'm getting used to it. I have a little more to say though. Now what, I'm really, I'm just feeling so good, so alive, these glasses, the head scarf. I mean, I just want to go in teaking, I love, it's a good show. Back to you Dan. Thank you Lucy, I appreciate it. Lucy is alleging by the way that the weekend was one.
Starting point is 00:33:04 I know Greg Cody has argued that Baker Mayfield won the playoffs and Lamar Jackson won the playoffs and the Detroit. I have a little more to say, actually, you should really check out the MMA hangout. It's a good hang. Tony's really good. Let him fly, Dan. Don't hold him down. It's a good show. Back to you. I'm talking about it. I'm talking about it. Lucy is alleging that the one who won the weekend, Greg Cody, is Kristen Usetch. Usetch. I can't pronounce her name. I can't spell it. One more time, either.
Starting point is 00:33:38 Usetch. No. Usetch. No. You should try to spell it. Christian. Kristen. Usetch. That's so close. Go ahead. No, now you sec. No, you should try to spell it Christian Christian you such So close go ahead use check use check you check. Yeah, who'd at And if a expert
Starting point is 00:33:58 Kyle use checks wife Who's that? That's a tight end, right? No. Best fullback. You're a best fullback. It's an endangered picture. Oh right. The fullback. Right. From he's no elegant, ingold from what he's from what team? You's check San Francisco. That's a boy. Yeah. I got boy. Yeah. There you go. It's all coming back to me now. uh... you check uh... san francisco and uh... uh...
Starting point is 00:34:27 it's all coming back to me now he's a good player he is why did she win the weekend so taylor swift went to the chiefs game with britain home sorry just got my voice back it was crazy uh... and she wore this really cool Travis Kelsey jacket that went viral. And it turned out it was Kristen who has been making all these really awesome NFL vests and jackets and Taylor Lautner ended up buying one once he saw that Taylor Swift was wearing
Starting point is 00:34:56 it and they had it like FedEx directly to the Lions field before the game started. And it was a really cool moment for like women sports fans because as a woman football fan you spend all of your time trying to find cute clothes to wear and you just cannot find it because the NFL looks at you and they're like, I know that girl wants a pink jersey. There's nothing else she could possibly want. Just the pink jersey, you know what? Maybe we'll do a bedazzled one too. Now I love bedazzled stuff. Don't get me wrong with this. But it's very cool to see like women's fashion and football.
Starting point is 00:35:32 And it turns out she's been doing this like way longer than before, you know Taylor Swift wore it. She did Simone Biles best for her husband. Like it's a really cool thing. And it's a really good thing. She popped up on my IG algorithm and I really enjoyed watching her process and making these jackets. So jagged her dope.
Starting point is 00:35:50 Well, a couple of cuts with a scissor and then poof. Yeah. Yeah. There was a couple of cuts with a scissor. That's all it's. I didn't know it is a magic bit more involved than that, but sure. As a show, do you think all of us together could come up with the correct spelling of use check?
Starting point is 00:36:08 Do you think that all of us together with 100 chances? I got it wrong, looking at it. Yeah, I think we could do it. I don't think we can. It's one of the reasons that I have trouble with the name. I don't think it doesn't seem phonetic. It's, go ahead if you want to take a crack at name. I don't think it's not, it doesn't seem phonetic. It's, uh, uh, go ahead if you wanna take a crack at it. I don't, I looked at it and I still,
Starting point is 00:36:30 and I've forgotten. Get your fingers away from that keyboard, Siugans. I'm not. I'm just, I'm writing it out. Is that okay? Yeah, yeah, go for it. That's a Polish name, right? I don't, I don't know. I'm the country-of-the-art thing.
Starting point is 00:36:40 I believe it is. You check. I misspelled Badea, bless Badea. You check. I'm the last guy to do one check it might be check Do you want to get soccer rule? Do you want to polish J S I E U C H K W What yeah close you nah no All right, so there's no W. No, no, no. J.
Starting point is 00:37:06 Oh, no. J. You. Oh, there's another one there. Why are you? I don't think there is a no anywhere in the name. No, it's. J.

Starting point is 00:37:35 Nice cheating. What do you have to say? He's fully incapable of doing anything without cheating. And that smoke ass blowing Lewis. We're lurking around the, the proceedings allowing stugots to cheat, being a collaborator, being an accomplice. You want to try it against the gods, you just said it. Try it again. Lewis, I'm watching you. Lewis, if you do it, you're fired.
Starting point is 00:37:59 Hmm. Waiting on Lewis. Do it again. You just did it. Lewis, Lewis, you bet. We're watching you, Lewis. Ha ha ha. Do it again. You just did it, Lewis. Lewis, you bet. We're watching you, Lewis. We can all see you. It's a fireable offense.
Starting point is 00:38:11 Allow me to stay it again for the record while I have a moment and I'm waiting on Lewis. I am not a racist. Just want to hammer that one home, okay? Jay. Lewis, Lewis, if you don't make me go in there, Lewis, I'll behead you in front of everybody. He won't do it, Lewis. That's good.
