I kind of hopped off a red eye and I didn't get the opportunity yesterday to celebrate the great heat victory, but I do want to talk about the hockey game

that was played last night in the Stanley Cup final that sees Vegas up to nil on the series against Florida. Were you upset, Mike, because that's a long trip. You go to Vegas. Vegas is fun, but you get to the game and it's two nothing after one, four nothing after two. It's like, oh, yeah. Well, I, this is now my second consecutive Stanley Cup that I went last year when it went, it shifted to Tampa. I got to see the, the avalanche lift the cup.

And when I saw that moment, I was like, I'm hooked. I want to go to this thing every year. So even though I was wearing my Panther stuff and hugely excited that my team is in the Stanley Cup, it's always a good experience when you get to watch a Stanley Cup playoff game. And I was very interested in, I've heard a lot about the Vegas presentation

and the in-game entertainment. And I was like in person. So I like the corny stuff. I saw Henrik Lunkwist made an observation during TNT's post game stuff that he's never actually seen in Arena that goes every break with a makesome noise animation. And it does get grating for a little bit.

And if I'm a Vegas Golden Knights fan, I absolutely love it. But the PA announcer is a little that's redundant. The PA person is a little much. It's all very entertainment capital of the world lost Vegas-y and I like that about it. It can be different but as a panther fan it absolutely stung. You got Wayne Newton. That was good. Yeah. I was very excited. We called that too. We called that bill. I was very excited about Wayne Newton. And, but I actually just want to actually talk hockey.

It looks great by the way, Wayne. It does, it does, it does. Really? I think for a stage, I thought so. He was really cranking that thing. He could tell him, he could see him looking at the guy. Like, can I stop now? They did it again too.

It was, it's just a loud, really. And it's not really loud because of the people. It was weird during the action, you could hear a pin drop in that place. It's an odd experience. Devonte Adams also did the way Newton thing later on in the game. And the DJs, they had blow like play.

It was a lot. It was sensory overload, but I dug the arena. The arena and the walk to the arena right on the strip is amazing. If you're Devonte, you got to say I'll do, I'll do it next game from the start. I'm not your third period person. Can we actually talk about what's happening in this series though? Because I thought entering the series that I thought the Panthers would win this series and I thought it would be a long series and it can't be a long series without Vegas getting at least two but from sitting where I was sitting and seeing that okay, Bob is turned into a pumpkin. Maybe not sustainable because Bob was really bad last night and understanding that the

difference between getting knocked out in four games by the Tampa Bay Lightning and winning the Eastern Conference finals in a four game sweep was Bob just really being awesome because they would allow plenty of shots and he would stop them to the tune of 19 goals over expected in a four game series. He was he was lights out, but we all were kind of worried because that wasn't who Bob's been down here throughout his tenure. We were all worried is he going to turn into a pumpkin and he turned into a pumpkin last night.

And I don't know if there's any come back from it because their defense is really bad. Now you add on top of that, their defense has hurt. Yeah. And like don't scream your own golden. That's what they were doing. They were in front of the own golden screen. And like if you're not going to block a shot, get out of way. The defense was horrendous. Hold on a second, going to block a shot, get out of the way. The defense was horrendous.

They held on a second, but Bob needs to stay in the middle of the goal. Like stop trying to poke around, peek around the other players. Just stand there. There's a good chance you can stand in the middle of the goal. The puck will just hit you somewhere. Golly coach. You guys leave it half the net open. Well, he didn't even see some of these things to the screening. Look, Vegas is kicking Florida's ass right now, but additionally, hasn't started yet.

In observation that I have is the officiating has also been terrible. It has been really bad. It was bad in game one where Nick cousins couldn't buy a call, but also Nick cousins miss a wide open goal opportunity that might have changed the game. And last night, as Randy Moller said, Oprah, you get a game misconduct, you get a game misconduct. I've never seen anything like that on my life. There were seven guys on that bench. Well, it was wild. Like, they needed to get control over the game.

No, no. Senators Panthers from earlier this year was wild. We haven't seen that many game misconducts. Matthew could chuck Miss an entire period of play. Yeah, I mean, like, he, he missed an entire period of play. But he's like, he's punching people after every whistle. Like, I get why he is the one. The refs are like, dude, we're watching you.

We see you do his, like, if you do it again, we're, it's like, he's like a kid. If I get cross checked into a net, and I know Chuckie's reputation precedes him, and Chuckie likes to mix it up. But if I get that, when it was one zero, Chuckie gets cross checked into the goal, and then gets slashed after that that and then has to get up and

skate back to the blue line because everybody's waiting to hold up play because it's off sides and then martina scores the goal right after that it's done dusted goodness gets knocked off the ice i think it was one zero by that that was a headshot by the way it was a head shot illegal cousins in game one cross check boarding these things are not being called. And then the game misconduct just makes it seem like a clown show. Oh, so I got to correct you to Tim and the misconduct. If it was game misconduct, he would have been suspended the next game.

Yeah, the Tim and the misconduct, it just signifies a clown show. At that point, what are we doing? It seemed like they lost all control. And the ref was looking straight at Hill and i guess that that's chuckies reputation but chucky did nothing there that should have been a five on three for florida at that time at that time i still think biggest wins they dragged us i don't really know how florida gets back into it i don't because it's what a game just

when i get the bob to be what he was the previous you all serve i mean i need bob to be what he was going to be the previous two rounds. And there was a single person in this room that can tell me they have faith in knowing what surrogate but broski comes out on for game three. But I actually do think that they had moments on the power play. Like they're just like, yeah, they didn't score many goals, but they looked okay offensively. Like they had decent chances.

I feel like they're due to breakthrough. I get it. It looks bad right now, but let's just get a game. Two-o never feels good. Down two-o never feels good. It's all it's two-one because you want a home game. I'm with you. It didn't look good last night, but I just like, I saw some things when we were on the power play.

I think we're close to breaking through some goals. But Hills on fire. And no one could have seen this coming out of Aiden Hill. And Vegas does this. Otter Dallas's goalie was the head and shoulders much better goalie in that series. And they just find a way to get physical and make goalies look bad. And I've seen this series a million times. And just when the goalie is like that, you

become dejected. We saw in the previous two series with the opposing teams against Bob and the previous two cup runs that the Panthers have had when they ran into Vasilevsky, where it's just, I've got no hope here. I'm not beating this guy. And I don't really know if there's an opportunity here for the Panthers to claw back not from where I was sitting It's not just Hill. I mean the defense has been excellent in this game It just seemed like Toronto from game four admittedly like the Denver Nuggets I didn't watch a ton of Las Vegas throughout the year like I watch them in the playoffs here and there So I'm like learning about this team. They just seem incredibly balanced like they have a good ock

Like it just seems like they're not amazing anywhere, but they just can get you anywhere. As a Panther fan, it really has my blood boiling anytime Marcia show does something because he should have never been a knight. Like their entire franchise was built on terrible management from Dale Talon and we're paying for it in the cup final against his team. It's just it boggles the mind. horalson was their best attacking for their that deep that ikels now top line karlsons not a top line or that hit that hit from the thing is ikel hit himself ikel kept his head down and started skating up the middle of the ice, and he bumped into Kachuk. There was, and Chuck, Chuck E ends up getting a game misconduct because of everything that ensues after that. We didn't mean to blow up, I call.

I'm sorry, 10 minutes. 10 minutes. That's the very important distinction because if you get a game misconduct, this even the playoffs, that's the suspension for the next game. So we're already playing with this. I don't like you guys attitude man.

12 goals and two games a ton. I would say let's play the numbers here. The good thing for the Panthers is when they were down 3-1 to boss and they weren't getting good goal tending, we were all racking our brains around. How they get back just takes a game let's just get back yeah it just with you it doesn't look good right now but please Bob if we love you just find it like one more time just find it get this to a long series come on we love you we still support you we're not doing that thing like we did
