You're listening to Giraffe King's Network.
All right, boys, at the end of the game in the national championship, when they were
celebrating on the podium and Reese was talking to Jim Harball and the players, everybody's
excited, and then they bring in Jack Harball.
And for people that have never seen Jack Harball,
he's basically Jim Harball,
but with like an age filter.
Like if you put up a picture of Jack Harball,
it looks like Jim just aged 40 years.
And I have a conspiracy theory
that I'd like to introduce to the class really quick.
Okay.
What if Jack Harball is actually Jim Harball from the future as a time traveler to live
his experience again of the national championship that he had just won?
It is startling how much Jack Harball looks like Jim Harball.
Friend of the show.
Both of them were friends of the show.
Tell it's happened.
Yes, the wreck of the Sir Edmund Fitzgerald is at the name of the song.
It's close to that.
I'm not going to find it.
I don't know.
Sir Edmund.
I, it's close.
I think I chimed in.
But it's, it's a very, well, I don't think I got the right.
Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.
It's a fight.
I got that right then, I think.
You say sir.
Okay, it's a sir in there.
The sir, we do.
Although Edmund, it feels like a sur, should go before that.
It is a terribly sad song.
In fact, Tony, look up some of the lyrics
because Jim Harbaw called this song a toe-tap
or when he was our music critic with his father
for a couple of a couple of shows and then a couple coffee.
And then never talked to us again.
We thought we had lightning in a bottle.
We thought we were gonna have Jim and and jack harbohl review music for us
but they quit after the the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald do you have some
sound on that I have a minute clip of when Jim harbohl joined us and talked
about toe tapers what is a song that'll make Jim harbohl dance just about
every time that you're grabbing Sarah by the wrist and you're like honey we
got to get out here for this one like a real like a real toad
a real toad type of jim yes that is what i'm looking for a real toad
tapper that you cut the rug to exactly
the record the admit that you're all
that's a lot of it
hard but what is that
that is
that
hard but what are you talking about that's a
orally sad song
it's the classic but it's about that's a horribly sad song
But it's sad it's a long sad song
It tells a story
You know it's there's crit to it. There's a there's a hurricane West wind
It's almost the least danceable song in the history of songs given the lyric I feel like you're doing that. It's a joke, but I'm not even sure so go ahead and plan. It's not a finger snapper
And it's not a toe-tap her go ahead and play a song for the toe-tap right?
Be good to have that relationship right now.
The wind in the wires made Taddle Tail sound
and a wave broke over the railing.
And every man knew, as the captain did too,
towards the witch of November, come stealing.
The dawn came late and the breakfast had to wait
when the gales of November came slashing,
when afternoon came was freezing rain
in the face of a hurricane West Wind. This is like an essay more so than a song. I've never heard this song. So I don't even know the melody.
He said it tells a story. It tells a hell of a story because it's like 10,000 words here.
Again, and a bunch of people drown and a boat fell to the bottom of the sea. Tap your toes.
It's not toe-tapping material. The Titanic song is great though.
Oh.
Nia,
fun.
Where have you?
We don't need to do this again.
It's a totally the toe tap, right?
Billy felt naked there just as you did.
I just don't know before we don't have to.
No, we've had this has happened three times today.
It happened to me with TN Jamar.
It happened to Chris Cody when he was doing his...
Achilders. It happened to Chris Cody when he was doing his actual dirt
it had to mean twice and his accent and it just happened to
Billy now where he looked up and he wanted some help from all of us he wanted
someone to throw him a life saver and Tony stared at him with
staring anchors in his eyes like he looked at Tony and Tony's like
not a theme here Tony Tony enjoyed enjoyed watching you go to the brink of singing the Titanic song.
I just sang it before. I was like, keep going buddy. You're almost here to the life boat.
Keep going. Keep swimming.
It's how I feel toward the end of the show. We're almost there guys.
This hasn't been a good one. Our timing has been almost show.
We've been falling apart on show. We're almost there. We're almost there.
Come on, Dan. You're almost at the life boat.
Finishes with a song, Billy.
Finishes us.
Finishes strong with your most confident and confident version
of singing the Titanic.
No, no, not today.
No Selena.
Pipes aren't ready.
It's a tough song.
Yeah, probably the toe tap, right?
I know that.
only the total for i know that
