Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello, hello, and welcome to an introduction to the extras, where we take you behind the scenes of your favorite TV shows, movies, and animation, and their release on digital DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K, or your favorite streaming site. I'm Tim Millard, your host for a new podcast that not only talks to the stars, but also the writers, producers, craftspeople, and uniquely bonus content producers and studio executives who bring you your favorite Hollywood entertainment. A little about me. I grew up an army kid who lived around the world and never dreamed of working in Hollywood. As a matter of fact, my parents limited me to one hour of television a
Starting point is 00:00:44 day. So I never dreamed of a career where I would have to me to one hour of television a day. So I never dreamed of a career where I would have to watch TV shows and films for a living. I spent the last 13 years at Warner Home Entertainment creating these extras for some of your favorite shows. Like Chuck, Two and a Half Men, Southland, Two Broke Girls, The Following, Mike and Molly, Children's Hospital, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Lethal Weapon, The 100, Shameless, Blindspot, Lucifer, Animal Kingdom, The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, Westworld, and Supernatural. I also worked on animated franchises including DC, Peanuts, Scooby-Doo, Tom and Jerry, Hanna-Barbera, and Star Wars The Clone Wars. This podcast is something I've wanted to do for a number of years, and now that I have the opportunity, I'm excited to continue to take you behind the scenes. Along the way, you'll hear some
