Hey everyone, I'm just checking in. As I said, we're going to do a couple of feed drops
to keep people up to date on the state of the bracket, trying to decide what commentary
for a previous flop house bad movie we will include on the bonus feed for max fund members this year.
This was all explained in the last mini.
What's going on?
Where you can vote.
All that stuff.
If you're not listening to the minis, why not?
You're missing stuff like this.
A lot of great stuff.
Honestly, I'm a, yeah. We get a little fewer people on the minis.
Listen to the minis. There's good stuff on there. But anyway, for those of you who have been following
it, this is the state of the bracket. Brats, one out over fateful findings. We got a 52% brat fateful findings, 48%.
This was a battle that tightens.
A lot of people were like, you know, finding faults
with our seating, being like, why did you put this against this?
I think it should be clear to loyal listeners by now.
We know nothing of sports things.
I'm sorry if we did it wrong.
You know, if we do this again
Maybe we'll seek out some advice from the experts, but this was a
Random seed that we would have tweaked if we thought that things were
far too
Unbalanced there's you know there's at least one unbalanced race in this and I think you can guess what it is once we get to it.
But it was impossible to not have that somewhere along the line.
But anyway, Bratz won out over fateful findings.
A lot of controversy.
I had forgotten that we did eventually release
our Bratz Rift Show after some depressing events
Bratz Rift Show after
Some depressing events in in history
but You know what a rift show is a little different from what a commentary is so bratz still in the game
Next we have the country bears country bears one out
54%
There's one out 54% to 45%.
There's some decimals in there that I neglected, but country bears, one out over the happening.
So, and then moving down,
despite Stewart's best efforts to put his thumb
on the scales, food fights still won over talking cat.
Food fight is the victor, 50.2% to 49.8%.
I think that was the closest of any of the races.
And then in sort of the dark horse bracket,
we got Street Fighter, the legend of Chunli,
one out over,
Easy Rider the Ride Back, 59 to 41. And then, okay, we got The Wicker Man versus I know who
killed me. The Wicker Man, one out, despite being a pretty boring movie. Got it met 58.8%
to I know who killed me is 41.2.
Thanks to everyone who tweeted at me, letting me know that I've been saying low and right
all these years and that Elliott and Stewart were wrong as they frequently are to mock me.
Then we got your kinder in this next round, this next race, then the Food Fight One, Tango
and Cash, one out over the Ugi Lobs in the Big Blue Adventure.
It was 54.5 to 45.5.
Thank you for that one.
I remember Stuart lying on the floor, writhing in pain during the Ugi Lobs.
So at least she showed us a little bit of mercy there.
One of the bigger spreads, we got a serenity, one out over no deposit. That's 59.8 over 40.2.
And then of course, I think we all saw it coming, the blowout of round one, cats, one out over
geostorm, 73.2% over 26.8, which means that going into the next round, the matchups
that we'll be seeing are Bratz versus the Country Bears.
That's a big, big battle there.
Food Fight, exclamation point versus Street Fighter.
The Legend of Chun Lee.
I am pretty sure I know how that one's going to go.
And Stuart's not going to be happy.
We've got The Wicker Man versus Tango and Cash,
real heavy hitters, and then we've got Serenity versus Cats. Those are the standings. Again,
if you want more detail on what's going on, go to the previous mini, flop house many episode, voting in the next rounds.
We'll start next week over at the Flop Houses Twitter,
which can be found at the Flop House pod on Twitter.
I know a lot of you, you know,
try and stay away from Twitter, understand,
probably a great choice.
Apologies that that's where we're doing the voting, but it was the easiest way to reach the
widest number of our followers. If you don't like Twitter, again, understand, but you can always get on there, get a
burner account, vote, and then ignore it every time in the future. But yeah, that's the state of the flop house bracket. I hope
everyone is managing to find, I don't know, some fun in the world as things are going to shit in
multiple ways. But we hope that we can divert you with our silliness.
So thanks for participating and a whole full episode on being the Ricardo's will drop tomorrow.
So look forward to that. For the flop house, I've been me, Dan McCoy.
And I'll say it again, democracy simply doesn't work.
