This week on the Glass Cannon Podcast
A couple things are going to happen.
The final piece of the puzzle lies within an ancient stone temple.
But the way is shut.
Guys, do a lap around the building and do not see any other means of entry.
It will take a clever solution.
Let's exhaust all the other possibilities first before we climb into the toilets.
To put the heroes on the site of an archaic ritual.
Natural one.
Natural one.
You've never felt more safe.
Where things are not what they seem.
They're resisted to non-magical attacks.
They're not evil.
Let them live.
Spare their lives.
Give them the right to vote and bear arms and survival
is not guaranteed fight dela free yourself the adventure continues
right now hey everybody welcome to episode 123 of the glass Cannon Podcast. It's me, Skid.
I have a couple things I wanted to mention.
First off, I have been a guest on a couple of other podcasts recently.
You can hear me on episode 26 of the Getting Geeky with Gamerleaf podcast.
We talked about some general gaming stuff, had a great time.
You can also hear me on episode 12 of the Drift podcast with the Nerds on Earth guys.
We had a great time talking about some Starfinder stuff and some general thoughts on character creation.
Always love talking to those guys.
That was great.
So you can check that out.
And I want to let you know, Joe mentioned it it but I wanted to reiterate that we are recording
more Disorganized Play bonus
episodes for our $5 and up Patreon
subscribers. Recording that this
week with a very special guest. Those
should be available soon.
I'm looking forward to playing more Jane Lowe and seeing
what happens this time. I think
it's going to be really fun.
That brings me to my very special
announcement. Now I never get to make these very special announcements
because they don't really have anything particularly to do with me usually.
But this time, this time it does.
So we were trying to think of a new Patreon goal.
You guys were great at getting us to the $10,000 tier.
And we wanted to think of what the next step could be and I
think we found it. So
if and when we reach
the $12,500 mark
on our Patreon
I, Skidmar, will be
running with the guys and perhaps
some additional people
a brand new
Pathfinder Adventure
Path as bonus content for our $5 and up subscribers.
I haven't yet quite decided
which Adventure Path it's going to be.
I could still be swayed.
There's a couple that I'm really kind of
looking at really closely.
But I hope to make that decision
within a week or two.
And I hope we get to this point
because I've been wanting to run a game
for you guys
for a really long time.
I think it's going to be super fun.
I think we're going to be able to have
a little bit of a rotating cast,
get some cool guests in.
I think it's going to be super fun.
So look forward to more announcements on that
as we have them.
I hope we get there
because I really want to do this with you guys, and I think it's going to be a blast.
But in any case, speaking of having a blast, let's have one right now.
Let's listen to this latest episode of the Glass Cannon Podcast, episode 123, Worm Welcome.
Yep.
Don't get many travelers around these parts.
Nope.
Haven't seen a traveler here around the shrine in over a hundred years.
Tonight's the anniversary of the time we had travelers around these parts.
Care for a lemonade, little boy?
I'm not a little boy.
And then he disappears. He was just a mirage.
I like that he transformed from...
Did you all see that too?
He transformed from Colonel Sanders into the guy from
Pet Sematary.
I also was like...
Is someone playing a banjo?
As a kid?
I just picture him in a rocking chair with
sweet coming out of his mouth.
Banjo-Romanade? We are back. I just picture him in a rocking chair with, like, sweet coming out of his mouth. Can't harm an ant.
We are back.
You made it.
You made it to the shrine.
This looks very similar to the picture you saw in the Dark Passage.
But the picture you saw in the Dark Passage was it in its heyday.
And now you look at it, and it's just covered in vines.
You know, the red clay mud bricks that make it up are, you know, they're faded from the sun.
So it looks like maybe centuries have passed since that living cave drawing.
You know, I explained to you that you see these two sets of big, huge double doors.
And then in the middle, splitting the two sets of double doors, leading directly into the building, is a shallow stone channel.
Full of, like, ruddy mud, water, some sort of stream flowing into the building.
Well,
only one choice. Big, broad stone
patio out front.
Only one choice, right, Matthew?
It's been
our tactic. Just take the shitter route.
We always crawl through.
We always crawl through the shitter.
So Della speeds up.
Good news, guys! There's a shitter!
What news, everyone? Good news, guys. There's a shitter. What news, everyone?
Good news, everyone.
When in doubt, take the poop chute.
Sorry, I interrupted you.
You were trying to artfully describe it,
and all I wanted to talk about was the shitter line in the plumbing.
He shawshanked you.
I've been shawshanked.
I got shanked.
I got shanked in the poop shoot.
Oh, my sweet shoot.
What is happening?
Really earning that explicit rating today.
Why did we smoke all that weed before we started recording?
So you've made it here.
You went through that thick, swampy portion.
You fought those scrags, and you get here,
and you're just standing in front of this cathedral.
The night before, you had all felt empowered
as you leveled up
after defeating those stone giants.
But I want to take you back
to that night before.
Go back in time, if you will.
Not only go back in time,
but go across the valley.
Ooh!
Okay!
While Sir Will and Umlo
and Nestor
and Baron and Dello were
basking in the juicy
glow of level 10.
And Nestor
was having strange...
Odd turn of phrase.
Strange.
Especially after our previous discussion
of poop shoots.
Nestor was having this strange vision
of his father.
Was that a dream?
Was he actually getting up to go to the bathroom?
Did that really happen?
Who knows?
Well, all of that was happening
on the other side of the valley.
Hidden in this invisible shelter.
Lork. Pembroke,
Razzmatazz, Aram,
and Ymir. See, over in the
vicinity of where the Oculus tent was
and Ryder Blood Freckle's tent,
you see a large, shadowy figure
kind of emerge alone,
not lit by anything.
As he comes, you know,
relatively closer to where you guys are,
you can make out pretty clearly
from the shape of his head
that it's a stone giant.
And roll a perception check.
Lork and Pembroke.
Uh...
Twenty...
Twenty-nine.
Both of you hear a voice.
I... I feel foolish coming here.
But earlier today I heard a voice in my head
that told me to return.
head that told me to return. I wondered if it was the God Mindo Hall himself choosing Maybe I'm overthinking it. Either way, I felt compelled to come here.
If this is some trick, show yourself. If not, I will walk away.
If not, I will walk away.
Pembroke messages, casts a message again,
and from within the tent, without opening the flap,
he says,
Have you come alone?
That voice.
Again.
He, like, looks all around, looks to the left. The right doesn't see you, obviously.
Yes. Yes. I am alone.
Good.
And Pembroke pushes the flap of the tent aside, emerges from what, I mean, I guess looks like a pile of rocks.
I mean, I guess it looks like a pile of rocks.
And this kind of doddering old man is still kind of nursing his injuries, his broken ribs,
using his walking stick.
This kind of shuffles over to the giant.
And when he gets close,
he lifts up his staff.
And with a flick of his wrist,
the two metal handles coming up
snap apart,
and there's a little strip of leather
between them.
And he plants it down in the ground.
And with a sigh, he sits down on it.
Ah.
Have a seat.
Please, my friend.
We must talk.
And this stone giant is just staring in awe and you can see Pembroke, the wheels turning like,
how did a small folk get behind the walls?
Who is this?
How did he just emerge from nothingness?
But he is charmed.
And he is alone.
And so he just apprehensively sits down.
You feel the ground beneath you shake.
And Pembroke smiles his kindly old man smile.
He says, you may call me Pembroke,
for that is my name.
If you wish to make an old man feel nostalgic, you may
call me Professor, if you wish.
Hello, Professor. My name is Isaias.
Isaias. Yes. Yes. I have a few questions to ask you before we get down to business. Is that all right?
May I ask you a question?
You may.
Are you a god?
No, believe me, I am not a god.
Perhaps once I might have been thought so by the uneducated.
But my power is not what it once was.
But still, there is much to do,
and I must use what is left, what magic is left in me,
to accomplish something very important.
And I would like to enlist your help.
My help?
How can I help?
Tell me, what are your duties here?
I am one of the guards that guards
the Palisades Gate.
I question
any and all giants
seeking entrance to the
cathedral.
With the exception of the
dung sweeps.
Most interesting.
And he kind of
like leans forward and
tense his fingers
his two index fingers like pointed up
and kind of leans his chin on them
tell me
if you will
everything you know
of Urathash
Urathash
yes and he kind of looks a little Urathash. Urathash.
Yes.
And he kind of looks a little nervous.
And he looks to the right.
He looks to the left.
And he leans in and starts to talk.
And now we're back outside the shrine.
Oh, man!
Meanwhile, back at the shrine.
Well done!
Very good.
When you asked the question,
I did wonder for a minute if we could sway the giant population away from his rhetoric.
If we can connect ourselves to Minderhall in front of him.
Well, I think that's what the forge lighting is.
I think it's us asserting to all the giants that we're more powerful than Mordor.
And the Tenna can link the bloodline or whatever she needs to do in front of them.
Like just deprive him of his army.
That dude's going to be one salty giant when that goes down.
The game has changed.
Courtesy of Pembroke and Isaias.
Isaias.
I love that name.
That's a good name.
It was a good voice too.
Yeah, really good job on the voice.
It's going to change throughout.
It'll slowly revert to the mean of one of your names.
It'll just become Rag eventually.
Eventually it'll just sound like Tom Exposition.
What's going on, Pat Brock?
So here's what you need to know about Earthash.
So before we jump right in, there's a couple of things we've got to talk about.
We've got to talk about some business.
First of all, let's talk about...
I'll pay you back later.
All right, that's all the business.
It is so crass to bring that up now.
You clean up now?
We're in the middle of a recording.
I don't know why you would do this.
It was only 50 bucks.
Let's talk about...
I do actually owe you $100.
I keep forgetting.
Sorry.
It was worth every penny.
I do actually owe Troy $100.
I keep forgetting.
I will pay you.
Money's no good here, Skip.
Okay, all right.
I need that money.
Let's talk about UMS.
We talk about UMS.
UMS took a level in Cleric,
much to the delight of all of our fans.
I mean, am I the only one that completely stands by this idea,
even though with a wisdom of zero,
he cannot cast anything above an Orison.
I still think it's the coolest idea ever.
Am I alone?
I like it better for that.
Yeah, me too.
He's an initiate.
He is.
I will say it's one of the first time,
and I want you to say that again,
because that's a perfect point,
but I definitely thought that it was a,
it's the first time I've ever thought about,
chosen, agreed with a
character level choice without looking at ability scores and i just thought it was perfect and then
after the fact i looked at the ability scores it was like oh crap but that's like that's how you
should make decisions without just looking at the ability scores and i don't think it's necessarily
yeah well from my perspective i didn't look at the ability scores either and we would have realized
that uh without taking the extra channel feat,
Umlo would have had minus two channels.
He would have one channel a day.
One channel a day.
Three plus his charisma modifier, which is minus two.
He would have one channel a day.
So when he gets that charisma healed, he'll get another channel.
Yeah.
That's good.
Oh, he has charisma damage.
That's not his base.
Oh, okay.
He'll be all right.
All right. So you took extra channel as his ninth level feat, right? Yeah. Oh, that's good. Oh, he has Charisma damage. That's not his base. Right, right, right. Oh, okay. He'll be all right. All right, so you took extra channel as his ninth level feat, right?
Yeah.
So that brings him up to a whopping three channels at 1d6.
Yes.
Beast.
Beast mode.
I don't think...
I mean, he's not like a devotee.
He hasn't been a devotee of Turaga his whole life.
I mean, he's been a worshiper, but not...
But I think he's an initiate.
He's learning how to...
He's a level one cleric. He was a cook. He's learning how to, he's a level one
cleric.
He was a cook.
How's he going to
start summoning
monsters?
That doesn't make
any sense.
And he's not doing
this because he has
a natural aptitude for
it.
He's doing this
because he feels
something deep inside
of him that he needs
to do it.
Yeah.
He's trying to push
back against this
darkness that is
enveloping him.
He's doing a lot of
killing.
And I mean, he needs
to, it's not
necessarily that he
wants to embrace pacifism, though
maybe he does at some point, but
I think it's also he needs to
know what he's doing is for the right reasons.
That he's fighting the good fight. His sister was
killed in front of him
by the same person that killed,
that backstabbed his ancestor,
and he's now walking around wielding the
weapon that killed both of them.
Like, he's... We never talk about that.
He's caught up in something that goes beyond.
I mean, talk about a backstory that was just built in to how it's come about in terms of the show.
Him going cleric, him finding religion and devoting himself to it, to me, makes perfect sense.
Does it make mechanical sense?
No.
No.
But who cares?
No.
That's very exciting and uh
as grant said we're trying to kill him
and i'm i'm just really trying to time it with the death of baron so that my new fighter character
can just put nargum still hand right i'm gonna play a one-armed fighter just so i can be there
off air i did also propose
the alternate strategy
of just,
because Umlo,
for all his multi-classing,
is all core.
So I did propose
the alternate strategy
of giving him one level
in every core class.
Right.
To which I joke,
next level is a
draconic bloodline sorcerer.
All these hidden secrets
of Umlo.
Umlo was related
to the dragon
that killed Will's family?
This story is out of control.
And the other piece...
Stop using George Lucas as a consultant.
The other small piece of business was a clerical error, as it were.
Skid, did anyone tell you in the past week that Nestor cannot take improved precise shot
because of his Zarni executioner archetype?
Only everyone.
Only everyone who listens to the show.
Yeah, I had several dozen helpful people out there to tell me that because of my chosen archetype, the Tsarny Executioner,
and this is something I forgot about because this is something that only comes into play at level 10.
I haven't really looked at it since I created them.
But one of the tradeoffs is that at level 10, for your talent, you have to take Assassinate.
Talk to me about Assassinate.
It's kind of tough, right?
But it's cool if it ever works.
Yeah, if it works, it'll be great.
It's something that's not particularly ill-suited
for the adventure we're playing,
because we're coming up against so many creatures
with really high Fortitude saves.
But basically, I have to spend a. But basically I have to spend a turn
studying... I have to spend a round
studying the target
who is unable to defend themselves.
And if they are still unable to defend
themselves on my next turn, the next
round, I can make
an attack action on them
with my sneak attack bonus.
And then they get
a fortitude save
that's, I think, based on...
It's DC 10 plus half your level,
your Slayer level,
plus your Intelligence modifier.
Plus my Intelligence modifier.
And if they fail, they die.
Instant death.
Instant death.
Yeah, so it is cool.
What is the DC now?
DC, so it's 15, well, it's 17.
Nice.
So this would work really well if Nestor tries to kill one of you guys.
Yeah.
I feel like it would be perfect for that.
Just throwing that out there.
As we're sleeping.
Right.
That's the best time to do it.
So, okay, I think that's all.
No, there is one other thing.
There's more business?
The same roughly number of people were also very helpfully informed me,
reminded me that I can only do my sneak attack damage with my bow within 30 feet.
This is something I keep forgetting.
Right, Hero Lab.
You just click it on.
You forget.
Yeah, yeah.
And I knew that rule.
And I just completely forgot it.
Yeah.
I knew it, too.
I completely forgot it.
I knew it, too.
And as soon as I saw it, I was like, oh, yeah, that's right.
Obviously.
It's one of six rules Joe knows.
But that's it.
Everything else we're doing perfectly.
No other mistakes.
Spotless. All right. So I think we're doing perfectly. No other mistakes. Spotless.
Um, alright, so...
I think we're good.
Done for the day?
Done for the day.
Alright.
Uh...
Good ep, guys.
Quick little 22-minute ep.
Alright, on to the poop shoot.
On to the poop shoot.
So I told you, the valley drew to a close.
Boom.
Swap grasses thicken.
Waters take on this
clay-like tinge. You see
this giant
structure, this ancient brick structure
covered in vines, covered in
you know, just
the passage of time. It's covered
in the passage of time, cracked
all over on the facade.
A mirage of a
kindly Cajun man
offering you sweet Kentucky bourbon drinks
and maybe a lemonade
disappears.
And now you stand in front of this edifice.
Two stone doors
and a poop.
What do you guys want to do?
Got a building there.
Looks pretty safe.
Can I attempt to move away some of the vines to see if there's any writing on the wall
or anything of note?
Sure.
Yeah, just pulling away some of the vines.
Cha-ching!
No.
You do not see any markings,
at least on the outside of the building,
telling you anything about what this once was?
Nothing on the doors?
Nothing on the doors.
The door is just huge, huge doors.
Obviously, this was a building used for giants.
I'm going to do a quick perception with my stone cutting for a secret door.
Okay.
And Baron rolls a 25.
25.
You don't
see any sort of secret doors.
Looking at the
channel, though, I would
say that you could tell the channel's about
five feet deep. Ooh, I gotta
swim. That's all I can tell you. If Della could
lay down on the ground,
stick her head out
over the channel and look,
can she see through what,
like, is there a grate
or something blocking
my vision of what's inside?
Yeah, roll a perception.
You're gonna put your face
right near the water.
I'm, like, laying on the ground
and, like, looking sideways.
Right, right, right.
Still smelling.
Ooh, natural 20.
Natural 20, 32. Natural 20, right. Still smells. Natural 20. 32.
Natural 20, 32.
There does appear to be some sort of grate.
Maybe that's used to kind of separate the water out as it's being sent into the building.
Oh, great.
Well, why don't we try one of these doors?
We always try to crawl in through the sewage.
There's a door.
Let's try the door for once, Nestor says.
We deserve the sewage.
Don't speak for yourself, mate.
I'm also a bit concerned about your self-image lately.
Mate, we're gutter trash. No, no, no. I am gutter trash. You certainly are not, Ham lately. Man, we're gutter trash.
I am gutter trash.
You certainly are not, Hummel. You're an acolyte of Torag.
Forgot his name for a second.
What was that god again?
I'm glad I could spread the word.
That god of yours?
So I'm going to check for traps.
Sir Will is going to stand
15 feet back from the door on Lexington
and just sort of wait to see if the door opens and be ready there.
And we're somewhere on the porch to our left side.
This porch is split in half by this channel running through the middle.
There's a pair of double doors on the left side
and a pair of double doors on the right side.
We're on the right side.
And I have this big metal die
that a fan gave me
at Gen Con.
And I believe his name was Stephen Tyler.
Wow.
I only remember that because I was going to make
a Walk This Way joke and I refrained.
That's not funny because another fan gave me one, and his name was Joe Perry.
Is that true?
No.
Oh.
All right.
So here we go.
All right.
Natural nine.
Okay.
And that would be a 27.
All right.
So 27, looking for traps.
You're kind of analyzing the door
and it's very, very big.
It's more than twice your size. You're looking up.
You do not detect any traps.
It appears to be unlocked. However,
it looks like because of centuries
of it not being used,
it's wedged shut.
So you might have to
force this one open, Lance.
We could also check the other doorways.
That's true.
It's way over there.
It is way over there, but a hundred years...
I'm on it!
Sir Will turns Lexington, rides, uses his new feet run,
and leaps over the...
Lexington leaps over the channel to the other side
to see if it's a similar situation on the other door.
Do I have to roll perception,
or can I see if it's wedged versus just a cleanly closed and locked door?
Yeah, you would say, knowing what you saw on the other one,
same thing, wedged shut.
It's the same over here, Nestor.
Yeah, all right, we'll come back.
For harmony!
And he's not necessary at all.
He leaps across the channel.
He could very easily walk around.
I don't know what you're talking about.
I'm impressed.
There's nobody here but us.
He's like out of breath.
Well done, Lexington.
Well done.
Don't wear yourself out.
So yeah, so I don't know.
I think I should watch the duel, just in case anything comes through.
Umlo, do you have the strength to open it?
I might have to get a little angry, but let's try without first.
So, yeah, so Umlo will come up and can he try a strength check?
Just a straight up force the door?
Break check, yeah.
We can all aid too, right?
Sure.
If you guys all want to try and aid Umlo.
Okay.
What's Umlo's strength right now?
17.
17.
So that's going to give him a plus three.
All right.
Who wants to give him, try to. Alright, who wants to give him...
try to aid him? I've got to help my
Acklight of Torak. Sure. Could I roll
Sir Will and
Lexington? Can we both push on the
door? Sure! Okay. Did you aid him,
Farron? I did not. Okay.
Nothing from Farron. Both Sir Will
and Lexington did, so that's a plus 4.
Plus 4, okay. Nestor Coin, are you just
watching the back? I'm just standing in the back.
Della, welcome up, Benaid. Alright, Della.
Della aids. Alright, so plus six,
plus three, so plus nine.
Come on, baby.
Right off the table.
Right off the table.
Crack die.
Try that again.
17.
Does not even budge.
Umlo gets a little angry.
Roll over that aid from before.
Give yourself still a plus nine.
Come on, ums.
Come on, buddy.
No, now it's a plus 11.
Oh, excuse me.
Plus 11.
We're all pushing.
Come on, Matthew.
16.
Umlo falls and breaks his teeth on the stone door.
He curls up into a field position.
Yeah, I mean, if anything...
Go to trash.
Umlo knows that if he can't do it,
no one in this group has the strength to open this door.
Perhaps we should walk the perimeter,
see if there's another way in.
Or we could just go through the poop chute.
There's always the poop chute.
It's blocked by a crate.
For once, let's exhaust all the other possibilities first before we climb into the toilets.
I'd rather not get my armor dirty.
I polished it this morning.
Let's try to do a walk around, can we?
Sure.
A walk around?
Guys, do a lap around the building and do not see any other means of entry.
Wow.
No perception checks even.
The understanding that you're just going to have to break your way in.
You say it's a stone door?
Stone door that you can just chip, chip, chip, chip away at.
Yeah, we'll just start attacking.
Or stone glide with your stone form.
Don't you have that?
You can just go under the door and see if there's a lever on the other side. That would be cool. Go right through it. Yeah, walk right just start attacking. Or Stoneglide with your stone form. Don't you have that? You can just go under the door and see if there's a lever on the other side.
That would be cool.
Go right through it.
Yeah.
Walk right through the door.
Yeah, but it's wedged.
I wonder if I can open it from the other side.
If you're an elemental.
There might be a lever or something.
Huh.
I think it's just, from what he said, it's just kind of rusted shut by age.
All right.
I have no problem doing that if we think that's a possible way to get in.
It's fine.
All right.
So Sir Will will dismount Lexington, and he will engage the belt, the earth elemental belt.
And it's all stone, right?
The ground is stone.
The doors are stone.
Everything's stone.
So I could theoretically become an earth elemental and then glide underneath, right?
Absolutely.
All right.
As could anyone with the Zorn robe.
Ah, that's right.
Who's wearing it?
Who's wearing it?
Did we ever...
We never rolled.
Did we never roll or was it too large?
Does it resize?
Oh, maybe that was the wrong...
Yeah, vestments.
Well, regular vestments resize.
But...
Yeah.
Did we just throw it in the bag for that reason?
We can hem it.
We could just clothespin it up.
We could totally, yeah, just put some...
Troy, are we using it or not?
If someone wants it, you're welcome to use it.
I can take it.
You want to take it?
Yeah, I'll take it, yeah.
The guy who steals everything, we're just going to give it to him?
Oh, well...
I think we've got to roll off on it.
Not for permanent.
Well, for Sir Will, he definitely would like to have Nestor on the other side of that door with him, just in case.
No, I'm brave. I'll go with you.
So I take it. He said, give me that.
I pin it up and put it on.
On the count of three.
One, two, three.
I don't know why I did it in your accent.
And we become.
Does he become large?
Or does he just become an earth elemental?
No, he just earth glides.
No, Nestor just earth glides.
Oh, right, right, right.
Okay.
So I become an earth elemental and then earth glide.
Okay.
There we go.
And Nestor and Sir Will earth glide under the stone door.
Yeah.
It has not been opened
for centuries!
And you see one
large
chamber.
Whoa!
This is huge!
It is cutting into my
microphone space.
I can't put my computer down.
I know! Oh my god, it's enormous!
This map I have
drawn for like
four sessions now. This is the third time
or fourth time that I've drawn this
and now we can actually use it. It's gorgeous.
Nice work. Well done. My first time I drew it
wasn't as good, but I've had a lot of practice.
It actually looks like a Klingon spaceship
without the wings.
But maybe that's just me.
The interior of this structure that
Sir Will and Nestor see
is one single
large room.
Both the walls and the
floor, fashioned from
tremendous mud bricks,
you know, these bricks that you saw on the outside,
they were all very badly
cracked, though the north wall
still bears the faded image of a crescent moon overlaying a jagged mountain peak.
In the center of the room, you see a large mechanism consisting of a stone pipe that is disgorging muddy water onto a great stone slab.
that is disgorging muddy water onto a great stone slab.
The water just spills from the slab into a wide catch pool before draining out back from whence you guys came,
back through that grate with your friends on the other side.
Along the northwestern wall, there is a worn workbench
running the entire length of the wall
wrapping around to the northwest corner of the
room. Direct
north is a large stone
mortar and pestle. Huge!
I mean large, but like
you see the size of it on the map?
That's a stone mortar and pestle that like a giant
would use. Wow.
Sitting next to a smaller table, but smaller
relatively speaking. It's like 20 feet wide, the mortar and
pestle. My God. On the eastern
side of the room, there are three huge clay statues
standing along the eastern wall. And on the southern side of the wall is
a tall, black, lacquered cabinet, which is what's closest
to Sir Will and Nestor.
With orn...
Why don't you get deeper into the room?
Once you get deeper into the room, you'll see
they have ornately carved doors
and iron handles.
Well, can we take a look
at the door from this side to see if there's anything
we can do to open it? On this side, you see
now that it pushes outward from where you guys are.
So because you guys were able to do that, using your push and their pull, you can open the door.
But it takes probably like five minutes to do so.
You guys are trying, failing, trying, failing, trying, failing, and eventually.
And we're probably making a good amount of noise too.
Oh, yeah, a good bit of noise. Tons of noise.
You've opened
the doors.
So, Baron, Della, and
Umlo, you see now all the
things they just saw.
This room, compared to, like, Adoromi's
chapel, is much
better preserved, and it's probably because these
doors were wed shut
for most likely centuries,
whereas Adiromi's Chapel had vines growing everywhere, you know, animal carcasses,
humanoid carcasses from people coming in and coming out and being subject to the Venus flytrap.
This room is completely sealed off. The only signs of age are the cracks in the walls and all over
the floor as well. You can see there's just
these huge cracks everywhere.
Some creating
big, big wedges on the floor.
And then you've got
this mechanism in the back
just shooting
muddy water onto a slab.
And then from that slab, it
spills over into a pool
and that water just runs straight out to
where you guys came what do you do baron can baron please roll a knowledge engineering to tell what
kind of mechanism this would be used for what the mortar and pestle and the water constantly flowing
it seems like something to do with mining or gold something or something like absolutely now let me
ask you this.
Do you want to move a little closer into the room?
Get a better look?
Yeah, Sir Will will lead the way up, just keeping an eye out.
All right, so Sir Will and Baron walk up to the edge of this catch pool.
And actually Nestor is going to move up to the corner of the room,
like where it bends, where it opens up.
He's going to step up right at the edge of the channel.
Okay.
Della will come and stand next to Nestor,
and I think Umla will go up with the group, the advance, the Vanguard.
Team Religion up front.
Team Religion, Team Evil in the back.
Hey, you guys want to come to this concert later?
It's going to be awesome.
Let's talk about Torag afterwards.
All right. So go ahead and roll a knowledge engine engineering there bear bear and i'd love to also parlay whatever i get
from here into kind of a religion on some of this iconography we're gonna do those two separate
checks yep yep yep um if i win both though i'd like to parlay this engineering into my first attack roll. Is that cool?
Go for the daily double.
22.
22.
Well, your instincts were correct.
Yeah, this is something similar that would be used in mining.
It's a sluice.
I'm thinking of the gold rush where they had those little grates and they look for gold.
It's like a placer mine.
I'm going to do a stone cutting?
Check on the cracks in the floor, just make sure we're on stable ground.
Sure.
Go ahead and do a stone cutting just like at the cracks that are near where you're standing.
Yeah.
Natural one.
Natural one.
You've never felt more safe.
With the power of Torag lighting your way, you step on every cracker.
Joe picked up this
die when I dropped it
on the floor.
Yeah, that did it.
I'm near the trash
when he's tossing it over.
Sorry, sir,
we'd like to do
a quick perception check
on the bookshelf thing,
the shelf that should
now be more visible.
The ornately,
the lacquered cabinet,
the black lacquered cabinet.
Oh, is it just closed
Yeah
Okay
Alright he's not gonna open it just yet
He's gonna still keep an eye out
Okay
Can I do a quick
Relidge on the symbol
You sure can
Umlo is going to too
Cause now he has knowledge religion
Oh yeah
Umlo
Ooh
20 for Umlo
26 for Sir Will
Oh
Bear
20
All of you hit it.
Why you would know this information, I'm not sure.
But, you know, you all studied.
You know, I think of like...
We've been reading.
I think about like Game of Thrones when they would quiz them on the houses.
What's this?
What's this house?
What are the words?
What are the words of the house?
You know, you guys are probably quizzed on all these now mostly defunct religions.
And the image on the north wall is a symbol of Fondara.
Fondara is a neutral deity worshipped primarily by stone giants,
although she is often followed by the primitive humanoid races of the north. There may be
Shawanti tribes people
that worship Fandara.
Ah.
That's neat. Is she at odds
with the other giant god
we're dealing with in this campaign, primarily
Minderhall? Are they friends?
You don't know that. You know that she's neutral
and Minderhall's evil.
So like, a neutral good cleric or druid could follow Thundar.
But a neutral evil one could follow her as well.
And Minderhall.
And Minderhall.
She is known as the Blood Mother,
the ancient stone giant goddess of earth,
knowledge,
and the cycle of life.
Interesting.
Does she have any relation to Mimrith the Maker?
Are they...
Mimrith was but a name.
Vandara was a goddess.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Fascinating.
And does she have anything to do with Sluice?
Is she the goddess of Sluice?
She's the goddess of Sluice!
Patriot, patron goddess of Sluice. Now's the goddess of Sluice. Patron goddess of Sluice.
Now, wait a minute.
What do we know about this temple in terms of who is the scion that we're here for?
And what did Mimrith do?
What was her role in lighting the forge?
I can tell you when I open up my notes.
The sacred clay.
Yes.
The clay that lined the forge.
So there's a muddiness to this water, right?
Is it thick?
Almost like a mud?
Yeah.
Yeah, I mean, there is a muddiness to it.
The water that's shooting out of the sluice is brown and thick,
but it's not formed in the clay that you would need.
Huh.
I wonder if we can take some of the mud and put it in the mortar and pestle.
Yeah.
But it's going to be tough because it's...
Giant.
Yeah, because it's so huge.
And there's a great...
Oh, Mimrith, this is what we learned.
Mimrith the Maker, Priestess of Fondara.
Ah.
She anointed fallen soldiers for the afterlife with the clay.
Ah.
That's what we learned from Atena.
Right.
Okay.
Ah, very cool.
We should pre-anoint each of our characters for when we die.
Just so we're ready.
And so pre-anoint.
Della, if you're recalling this, and I think you were the one that she linked.
She did.
To Mimrit the Maker.
You see this giant slab in front of you, and you think this is probably where the fallen giants were laid.
Oh.
For Mimrit to do her ritual. This is the fallen giants were laid. So the river has to do
her ritual.
This is the house of the dead.
Wow. Cool.
Want to check out the cabinet
and then move into the slab? May I just
over the slab, over the area, just do a detect
evil? Sure.
You want to just detect evil over
the slab.
You don't detect any evil.
Can Della detect magic?
Yes, Della detects magic, and you detect magic coming from the cabinet.
Can I run through all of my alignments through the cabinet to see if there's a living thing in there?
Nothing.
Bing!
Got it.
Got it.
Your popcorn is ready.
And can we get a quick tremor sense, just in case?
Is it a poison or spell-like ability?
It's the cabinet of the giant subtype.
Can we do a quick little trem sense? It could also be of the giant subtype. Let me do a quick little tram stance.
It could also be of orc or goblinoid.
I can add my hatred on rolls against that cabinet.
I hate that cabinet!
Della elbows Nestor,
and there's something magical in that there cabinet.
Oh, really?
Yeah, really.
Oh, well, thank you for letting me know.
I was suggesting you open it for us.
Oh, no, I see.
No, no, I'm glad that you think
that I'll be so helpful here.
I'm just glad that you're recognizing my abilities.
Be careful, Nestor.
Really appreciate it.
Don't be too hasty.
Baron's going to watch.
Sir Will's going to ride up a little bit deeper
to the north behind Nestor,
just making sure that nothing comes from behind us.
Okay.
So you ride deeper into the...
Towards the north.
Towards the mortar and pestle in the back.
And what are these things on the east again?
Big clay statues.
Like overlooking the sluice situation.
Sir Will's going to keep a keen eye trained on these clay statues.
To see if anything's moving.
Okay.
Do you go up with him, Della, to detect magic on the statues?
Yeah, there's maybe some faint magic there.
What are the rest of you doing?
I'm watching Nestor because I know that he likes to get his licks on Filthy Luker, and I want to keep him from doing that.
Okay.
What about UMS?
And I'll help spellcraft.
Well, you'll help spellcraft, sure.
And UMS?
I think UMS is kind of a...
Jumps in the water?
He jumps in the water, bathes himself.
Right, right, sure.
No, I think UMS is a little transfixed by the moon, the symbol of the moon.
It's very beautiful, he said.
It's a very sacred place.
Interesting.
It is.
He'll be up closer to the slab.
Not on the slab.
Right, right.
He's going to stand right at the edge, maybe moving slightly north.
Not as far north as Sir Will and Della, but a little bit north.
Joe placed him in the water.
Flushed down to the ground.
Flushed down through the channel, out of the tunnel.
Umla grounds.
And the steel hand goes with him
Nestor talk to me about
what you want to do
you got Baron like
right next to you
keeping like breathing
down your neck
actually breathing down
your thigh
oh he's being cool
he's breathing down your thigh
okay
alright I'm gonna use
I'm gonna do a perception check
check for traps
on the door
okay
on the cabinets I'm gonna use do a perception check. Check for traps on the door of the cabinet.
I'm going to use Steven Tyler's die again.
Another natural nine.
So that is...
What did I say before?
Sorry.
27.
It does not appear to be locked.
It just appears like it hasn't been opened in a long time.
Thick, thick layer of dust that you can see around the handles on top of it.
All right.
Even you just looking at it is kicking up dust around.
I'm going to very carefully open it up.
So Nestor just opens up this
huge cabinet.
Several times.
You see a few different things.
Triscuits?
There's always triscuits.
It's the pantry!
Please.
They're Wheat Thins.
You see ranch-flavored Wheat Thins. You see
ranch flavored Wheat Thins.
Reduce fat? No.
This podcast is brought to you by
These Wheat Thins are not evil.
You see
several large blocks
of dried clay.
You also see
a large
clay tablet
and two other bricks
of clay
that are separated from the other bricks
and Baron, you detect magic
on both the tablet
and the bricks.
Meanwhile,
on the north portion
of the shrine
to Fundara,
as Sir Will and Della just kind of gallop
by Della.
Della not galloping, but walking.
She'll gallop to make sure he doesn't feel weird.
With coconuts.
Where'd you get coconuts?
As you guys delve
a little bit farther in, and you're watching watching and Della is just like detecting magic.
Did you just move our characters somewhere?
Into range?
What was that?
All right.
I said we're looking with a keen eye at these statues.
And these statues, well, sure enough, Della detects a little faint bit of magic as the statue just
turns its head
to both of you.
It comes off and
stands to attack, as does
the other one.
As does the other one.
Oh no!
Oh no!
Oh.
Roll with the roll with the roll with the roll roll, roll.
Roll, roll, roll.
There she is.
All right.
Oh, darn it, Mr. Will.
Natural 20.
I said I was looking with a keen eye.
Yeah.
You are the worst.
Not keen enough, buddy.
I didn't even get a perception roll.
I love how he was, like, super sly, buddy. I didn't even get a perception roll. I love how he was super sly, too.
Yeah, he moved us.
You guys are good.
I kind of like the chaoticness of this music all of a sudden.
Yeah.
Sounds like a stone or clay golem playing a piano.
Yes.
He's got big fingers.
Frantically.
Yeah.
We gave him the most beautiful hands we could construct.
All right.
Now, there's a reason that Della and Sir Will
weren't able to get some sort of jump on these statues
because they have a power that make them look completely inanimate.
And then all of a sudden, just, vroom, they sprung to you.
Let's talk initiative.
Nestor, I heard a natural 20.
No, I was making fun of Joe.
Oh.
I got a 16.
16.
Sir Willamette.
Seven.
Oh, dear.
Damn it, Baron.
Baron had a 10 on the die for a total of 22.
Oh, shocker.
Shocking grasper.
Della.
18.
18.
A lady's 18.
Umla.
Seven.
My modifier is plus two.
So is mine.
Oh, roll off.
Roll off. Hey, Joe. Natural three. Well, don't forget. So is mine. Oh, roll off! Roll off!
Hey, Joe.
Natural three.
Well, don't forget to add your modifier.
Hey.
Boo.
90-11.
Okay.
I already put umlaut first.
Yeah, good call.
Save a little time.
Yeah, you know.
We're on a schedule here, guys.
All right, round one. Baron, you are there detecting magic from, you know, what Nestor just opened.
And you hear behind you this...
And let me just put some pawns out here, some johns out here.
Ship-a-boom.
Oh.
Ship-a-boom.
Oh, wow.
Ship-a-boom.
These big things.
I'll show you a picture in a little bit of what they look like.
Baron, what you got?
Baron is going to use an action to do something a little unusual for him since he's out of range.
Go on.
He'd like to detect if these are evil.
Ah, detect evil.
Because I have protection from evil as a spell now.
Okay.
I think that could be useful info for the rest of the party as well.
Standard action.
Yeah, that will, but it's a standard action.
I'm going to do it.
Detect evil.
What's your distance on these things?
60 feet.
I think I'm within range.
60 feet.
They look like this, by the way.
They're very stoic.
That's awesome.
They look like a statue of a stone giant.
Right?
With runes.
Oh, that is cool.
Carvings carved into them.
That's some of my favorite art I've seen in a while.
Oh, it's beautiful.
So, Baron just whips around, sees these things, and tries to detect evil.
Detects that they are not evil.
At least they are not detecting as evil.
Got it.
So, with that, he's going to move 20 feet towards them.
So, Baron detects it, moves 20 feet.
They detect as nothing.
I hope that's useful to you.
They're not evil! They're as nothing. I hope that's useful to you.
They're not evil.
They're not evil.
Let them live.
Spare their lives.
Give them the right to vote and bear arms.
Della Narnzo.
Can I do a knowledge check
to see if they are intelligent enough to communicate?
You want to do a knowledge check
to see if they're intelligent enough to communicate.
Sure, go ahead and roll knowledge.
Let's go with knowledge, I believe, dungeoneering.
Okay.
17.
17.
You don't know.
Okay, Del's going to try it.
I would like to roll diplomacy.
Okay.
She's going to say,
Fear not.
We come not to disturb this tomb.
I am connected to Mimrith,
priestess of, what's her name?
Fondara.
Priestess of Fondara.
He's full of shit!
Get him!
That little slip was all it took.
That was Will. That was Will yelling.
Priestess of Fandara. He's an atheist?
We come only
seeking the honor
of your clay.
World diplomacy.
Not bad.
22.
That's enough for you to know They cannot be Nesta
As it just continues slowly
Okay
Moving towards you
So I will Keen and Shock the Scimitar
And move back
To where Nesta is
Keen, Shock, the Sim
Okay, and that is already a flaming scimitar,
correct? Yes. I'm assuming
diplomacy was a standard action.
I don't know how that works. Yeah.
At that point, it's
pretty standard. So for her
move action, she'll move back to stand next to Nestor.
Swift keen shock. Yes.
Speaking of Nestor,
Coyne, you open that up. You obviously
can't detect any magical energies,
but you see Baron look really interested,
and then you just hear...
Yeah, I hear these things come to life.
And Nestor quick draws his bow,
takes a five-foot step to my right, away from Della,
and does a many-shot first with his first attack.
Study target.
Attacking the closest one to you, right?
Yep.
The one on the southern.
Deadly aim.
Natural 20.
I saw it.
I stood up to see it.
I know.
And now they're not subject to critical hits.
They are not subject to critical hits.
So I won't bother to confirm.
I'm still playing this. That is not subject to critical hits, yes. Okay, so I won't bother to confirm. I'm still playing this.
That is not the sound it made.
The stone
is bleeding.
That's
40 points of damage.
40 points of damage.
Piercing damage and
well, that's
8 points of electrical. eight points of electrical.
Eight points of electrical.
Yeah, and 32 points of piercing.
But you have a plus one weapon.
And I did get a, I got an eight on one of my dice.
So we normally do natural 20, we get exploding dice.
Oh.
So.
Yes.
Are we doing that?
Where it can't be crit?
Yeah.
Yeah, go for it. Okay, cool.
Go for it.
One.
So 41 points of damage.
That evened out.
That's why I allowed it.
I saw the future.
I'll still allow it.
Can I make a perception check to see how much of my damage appeared to go through?
Sure.
Okay.
Roll perception. 30. Sure. Okay. Roll perception.
30.
30, okay.
Yeah, I mean,
there's obviously
some sort of DR going on,
but you have a magical weapon.
Yes.
So that didn't affect you,
but you do notice
that other people
may struggle with that.
Okay.
Say,
they resisted
to non-magical attacks!
He yells.
Nice. And my second attack.
18 to hit?
18 is gonna hit!
Oh, sweet. Okay.
They haven't acted yet.
They're gonna kill us.
That's 20 points of damage, six of which is electrical.
20 points of damage on the second one.
All right.
Nestor steps up and lays
out some damage. Do you have any more attacks?
And I did not take my teamwork
feat because I didn't explicitly
say I drew my weapon. I'm trying to help you here,
Chris. I appreciate it, Grant.
Good looking out, buddy.
All right, so the one that Nestor just did some serious damage to
is going to charge at Sir Will and do a slam.
How far away are you there, Sir Will?
How far away was I from him?
30 feet.
30 feet away.
30 feet away.
All right, so it rushes up and goes to slam.
Oh, sitting on so many numbers.
It's going to be a 22 flat footed.
That is a miss.
Yeah.
Flat footed.
Right off the shield.
Clang.
All right.
So clang.
All right.
So I see how this is going to be.
All right.
So these other ones up here.
What do they want to do?
They are very far away from the party. The one that
Nestor laid out some serious
damage on
is pretty close. That's the one that just
rushed at Sir Will. So the other ones
are just going to kind of
start moving. I don't think that they
can even get up into the fray here.
Alright, so the other two just
double move up. Now there's
two right next to Sir Will, and the other one is still in the back.
Umla!
Umla is going to double move to get—he should be able to get pretty close to get up in melee with the second one.
Okay.
What is his movement now?
30.
Yeah, 30 feet, so he can move 60.
He's probably within range.
Yeah, that's 15 feet.
With one move action?
Yep.
Oh, I can get to the first one?
Great, all right.
Then I'm going to take a stab.
That was 15 feet?
Is that 15 feet?
No, but you move 25.
Yeah, but he gets 30, so he's good.
Oh, 25.
The barbarian.
Yeah, that's 15 feet.
Are these giant subtypes, or are they weird statue things? No, they wouldn't be. Yeah, that's 15 feet. Are these giant subtypes or are they weird statue things?
No, they wouldn't be.
Yeah, no, they are not.
Okay, I'm just going to take a stab with Heart Spit.
And this is the one that Ness has been shooting at, right?
Yeah.
Okay.
23.
That's going to be a hit.
Nice.
Beautiful.
15 points of damage.
A couple things are going to happen.
Nice.
15 points of damage.
A couple things are going to happen.
So Umlo boom! Stabs at this thing
with heart spit and the clay
shell surrounding it
explodes. Oh shit.
And a huge ooze of
worms forms
underneath it. And now Sir Will
is standing next to this large
ooze
that is still kicking.
The shards from this glass
Clay.
The shards from this clay
Everybody but
Nestor roll a reflex save.
Vicious.
Including Lexington.
DC 21. Ooh. DC 21.
Ooh.
Oh, really?
Fail.
20.
Okay, so close, so close!
Della passes, Umlo fails.
Umlo fails.
Baron fails.
Uh, Sir Will and Lexington both make it.
Both make it.
Yep.
Umlo and Baron take 12 points of
damage. Everyone else takes 6
points of damage as these clay
shards just
explode
in a diameter burst.
That's really cool.
He's made this clay shell of this
giant. Boom! And now it's
all worms.
I'm gonna help! And then just releases shards.
And this is why I was hiding most of the image from you.
Because, as you can see from the image, there are oozy worms leaking out.
Coming out of it.
Wow.
All right, Umlo, you struck true.
And that is your action.
Sir Will, you and Lexington got some clay shards in your face, but you're feeling good.
Sir Will is fearless in front of this worm-like beast.
And he's going to...
Worm-ridden.
Worm-ridden.
Slimy piece of worm-ridden filth.
May you all die smiting.
He's going to fight defensively.
Hold his shield up.
Oh, actually, I should say, hearing Nestor's thing, his suggestion about
the magical weapons, he drops his
spear with the...
his lance with the banner
and draws
Roselight and stabs once at this thing
for an 18
to hit. Fighting defensively.
At the ooze. At the ooze.
And you hit the ooze.
All right.
And he does three points of damage.
Three points of damage.
He's a little guy.
He's a little guy with a lot of heart.
Okay.
And that is...
Actually, you know what?
Fuck it.
Lexington's going to bite.
Yeah.
Oh, gross.
Lexington is right up in it.
Put it in your mouth, Lexington.
He is going to bite. 20, gross. Lexington is right up in it. Put it in your mouth, Lexington. He is going to bite.
20 to hit.
Lexington bites the ooze and hits the ooze.
He hits the ooze for five points of damage.
Okay.
How does it work when you have plus trip?
How does that work?
You get a free chance to trip.
In this case, yeah.
On a hit, but you don't do any damage.
You can try to then trip, right?
Yeah, you can try to do a trip
without provoking an attack of opportunity.
Got it, okay.
Those oozes are really prone to falling down.
Yeah, well, I was just, you know, wondering.
Nerdage!
Okay, just want to make sure I'm doing this right.
All those great ooze slapstick comedies
of the 20s.
It's like starring Buster Keaton
and an ooze made out of worms.
So, Sir Will and Lexington
take a chunk out of this
worm-ridden ooze.
I mean, imagine just a mass of crawling worms.
How long has this thing been here?
Round two. Baron.
Baron quick draws
his double barrel pistol
and in a swift action
releases a prayer solemnly
to Torag and says,
Torag, bless your humble servant's weapon
with the power to defeat them.
And he rapid shots
at the worm ooze. Oh shots at the Wormoose.
Oh, at the Wormoose!
Nice!
Sorry, I'm going to start rolling.
That is a 15 to hit.
Touch AC.
That is a hit!
All of the numbers have worn off.
I'm going to start rolling on the pad for the rest of this.
I've got to bring back the big red die.
That is 15 points of damage.
All right, so the first shot, just boom!
You see a bunch of worms just fly off, hit the wall.
My second attack.
You said 15, right?
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
And it's magical for the purposes of DR.
You're magical.
Yep.
Ooh, that is a misfire.
Oh, no!
The second attack.
And it's actually a one, so it's a potential fumble. Yep. Ooh, that is a misfire. The second attack.
And it's actually, it's a one, so it's a potential fumble.
Oh, we're going to get a fan fumble.
All right, roll to see if it's a fumble.
21 to hit.
All right, not a full.
We have a new drop from Nick Lowe.
There it is.
That was it.
All right.
We haven't earned it yet.
Do you have another attack?
Do you have to quick clear?
Can you do all this? That was a full round attack action We haven't earned it yet, Skip. We haven't earned it. Do you have another attack? Do you have to quick clear? Can you do all this?
That was a full round attack action, so I'm unable to.
All right.
So Baron steps up.
Boom.
Notches off a bunch of worms at the back wall.
And the second one, the gun misfires Della. seeing the horrifying sight of these worms,
is going to step up between Umlo and Baron and Burning Hansen.
Yeah.
Ah, burn, baby, burn.
Just going for a nap.
And that's going to hit Sir Will and Lexington as well.
Can I angle it?
No.
It's going to be one or the other.
Baron or Sir Will.
And I'll take it.
Well, then I can take another step. I can take another step.
Can I?
No, it's fine.
It's too close.
It's too close.
Yeah, we're just all up in it.
But I'll take it.
It's fine.
All right.
I get a reflex save, right?
Yes, you do.
All right.
Let's see.
How's the 17 grab you?
Pass.
Yeah! So it's 15 points of damage, and you get a reflex does a 17 grab you? Pass. Yeah!
So it's 15 points of damage and you get a reflex save too, Troy.
Alright, as you can imagine, their reflexes are lightning quick.
A pile of worms.
What's the DC?
14.
Natural 2.
Great.
15 points of damage.
15 points of damage.
So you just burn.
Burn the worm.
So Sir Will and Lexington take 7 each.
Alright. Sorry. Della knows, though. Burn! Burn the worm! So Sir Will and Lexington take seven each. All right.
Sorry.
Della knows, though.
Do what you must!
They've talked this out beforehand.
Will's like, listen, if you've got to do it, I'm fine.
Do it early in the fight, not late in the fight.
Right.
They've talked about this.
Nestor Coyne, what do you got?
All right.
Nestor is going to take another five-foot step to his right.
All right, Nestor is going to take another five-foot step to his right.
And in looking in disgust at this pile of gross worms, he's going to take a full attack.
Study targets.
Study targets.
Deadly aim, et cetera.
There's a little cover from Baron there. 20.
Yeah.
20, you're still going to get through.
This is a big target.
Okay.
All right.
30 points of damage.
30 points of damage on the first hit.
And second attack is a hit.
Okay.
Oh, beautiful.
And 23 points of damage.
23 points of damage.
You're shooting at the worms. The worms. This thing has taken a ton of damage. 23 points of damage. You're shooting at the worms.
The worms.
This thing has taken a ton of damage.
Yeah, this thing.
Don't forget, you attacked its outer shell.
Right.
The shell exploded, and now the inside of it has taken a ton of damage.
It's like that chocolate syrup you used to put on the ice cream, the magic shell.
Oh, magic shell.
Yeah, except instead of ice cream, it's worms.
Instead of ice cream, it's horrifying ooze.
It's worms.
Alright.
A couple things
are going to happen.
This thing
takes
an attack of opportunity. The one
that's been taking all the hits. Takes an attack of opportunity from Sir that's been taking all the hits
Takes an attack of opportunity
From Sir Will
And Umlo
Sir Will and Umlo
Quick swing
That's a hit
And he does
5 points of damage
That's a 90-19 from Umlo
That's not a crit
17 to hit from Lexington Lex That's not a crit. They're immune to crits.
17 to hit from Lexington.
Oh, Lexington's taking a bite, too?
Yeah.
17 hits.
17 does hit.
Okay.
12 points of damage from Umla.
12 from Umla, okay.
And 8 from Lexington.
And 8 from Lexington.
So this thing has taken... Rattled off some more damage.
It's trying to ooze away, and everyone's like...
It oozes away and walks's like It oozes away
and walks on
to Baron
and Della's space.
Oh no.
Oh!
Wait.
It crawls.
Don't they get
attacks of opportunity
for that?
You guys get an option.
Oh that's right.
You can take
an attack of opportunity
or you can attempt
a reflex save.
This goes back
to episode nine.
Yeah this is the
gelatinous cube
all over again.
Yeah.
Reflex save please. Reflex save, please.
Reflex, you may roll when ready.
Della, what are you choosing?
Della's going to attack.
Della is going to take the attack.
Kill it!
Della!
Kill it!
All right, reflex save first, Baron.
Baron rolled a cool little 29 on that reflex save.
Baron steps aside from this engulf attack.
Yes!
Della,
make a count.
Oh no!
Twelve. Twelve.
Still gonna hit.
Yeah! It's an ooze, remember?
It's the gelatinous cube all over again.
So, keen and shocked
and flaming.
Oh, dude.
Oh my god. Two ones and a two. Was that dude. Oh, my God.
Two ones and a two.
Was that boxcars, Joe?
Was that boxcars?
Boxcars.
So that would be seven points of damage.
That's enough to kill it.
So you guys do wipe out the first one.
Good choice to attack Del.
And now you know what.
There's only two more left.
You're out.
All right.
The second one there, the one who was in the middle of the three statues,
from where it's standing, it unleashes something out of one of its orifices,
and it shoots at Sir Will and Umlo, just this mass of worms out of a hole near its neck.
This slime spray.
Go without that.
No save.
This just slime spray of worms comes straight at Sir Will, Lexington, and Umlo.
And no, it's not a touch attack either?
Not a touch attack.
It's just an exceptional ability
exceptional
and oh baby
that's going to be 12 points of damage
to Lex Sir Will
and um
split between the three of us
I just won a kids choice award
get out of there
it just vomited part of choice award! Get out of there! It just vomited water.
Part of itself?
Yeah, like the inside of it just propelled out of a hole in its neck.
Wow, wow, wow, wow.
And the other one just starts lumbering its way towards the rest of you.
Right up in Sir Will's sir grill.
And it is Umlo's turn.
Umlo's taking a couple points of damage.
Umlo is going to channel positive energy.
Oh, wait a minute.
What?
I need Sir Will and Umlo to roll a fortitude save.
Oh, no.
Can I just roll over the roll I made for the last save?
Ah!
Oh, a natural 20 for Will.
Oh, my God.
Wow, Joseph.
Rolling rocks right now.
Spell or spell-like ability?
No, it is a disease.
Oh, no.
21 for ums.
Oh, and a fail for Lexington.
No.
Seems like Sir Will and Umler are okay, but Lexington feels a little funny.
Feels a little funky.
God, I hate it.
And it is Umlo's turn.
Umlo's going to channel.
Ah, all right.
Skid, would you roll one of your giant D6s?
Now, just checking.
Umlo has selective channeling, right?
No, sir.
Well, they haven't taken any damage.
Do you want me to roll it, or do you want to?
Neither of them. No, you roll it.
Okay.
I got a giant made out of quartz.
I think we're all about to hear it.
One.
We all hear one point of damage.
I told you Torag was the right pony to back in this race.
And then Umlo is going to take a five-foot step towards the first golem.
That way, if it moves, it's going to provoke it.
Ah, okay.
So Umlo just repositions himself after healing a whopping one point of damage.
Well, it's his first ever channel, right?
Ever.
He doesn't know what he's doing.
He didn't say it quite right.
Speaking of useless characters, Sir Will.
I take offense to that.
Sir Will is going to...
One of them stepped right up next to him.
Not the one that spat ooze on him.
He will try to attempt to attack this thing twice with Rose Light.
Okay.
Oh, well, that's a 13.
So that hits, right?
Oh, no.
They have the shell now.
They have the shell on him.
Yeah, no, no.
So 13's a miss.
13's a big old miss.
Clang off the clay.
And second attack misses as well.
So Will just can't make it happen.
Lexican want to try and take a bite out of crime?
No, he'll hold off for a second.
Okay.
Round three.
Baron, what's going on?
Baron is going to spend a point of grit.
He's first of all going to be a little peeved at Korag
after he asked him to bless his gun with his Inquisitor Judgment that he didn't.
Right.
Is that a standard action?
Yeah.
It's actually $1,500 worth of therapy.
And so he's going to quick clear as a move action,
and he is going to spend another point of grit to
use Deadeye to
continue to resolve against the
Touch AC of...
So I'm using two points of grit. Okay, one to quick
clear, one to continue to resolve
against Touch AC from
one increment out or just in general?
And I'm just one increment out so I'm going to subtract two
from my roll here. Fair enough.
So single range.
Let me turn off one point.
That is a hit.
Nice and easy. First pop.
Bam. 19 points of damage.
Nice. Alright.
And this is the one that's to the left
of you or to the right?
To my left.
It's trying to swing out and a bullet just whizzed by the head.
The one closest to the sluice. Shattering clay.
Closest to the sluice juice.
Okay, so that one. The one that came up
from behind. Okay.
And I am out of my turn.
That's how they say it. All out of
turn. How many points of damage was it?
19.
19 points of damage. Not
too shabby. Nicely done. Thank you, sir.
Della, what are you thinking? This thing just tried to come
up on you and you took it out.
Della is going
to
move up to the one
that hasn't been hit yet. So I believe
that's the one towards the east. Yes.
The one to the right of Sir Will.
And can I roll
acrobatics to avoid the attack of opportunity?
You sure can try.
And I get a nice little bonus because it's larger than me
okay
don't need your life story
so I get a plus 20
to this roll
oh Jesus
don't need your life
29
29
that'll do
yeah
and then she's going to
take a swing with the scimitar
alright
actually
I have a better idea
oh
I'm going to I'm going to cast
Shocking Grasp
and just try to touch it
with a touch of touch.
Oh, yeah.
There you go.
All right.
So Shocking Grasp,
try to touch it.
Do me a favor.
Roll for spell resistance.
Oh, no.
Do I have to hit it first?
Yeah, yeah.
You should do this.
17 to hit. That is a hit. Okay. do this. 17 to hit.
That is a hit.
Okay.
All right, now spell resistance.
It's just your cast level, right?
Yeah.
Plus 28 or 29.
13.
I'm so sorry.
Oh, no!
So you lose the spell, right?
Yeah.
Shaggy Grasp just...
Oh, no!
Fizzles out.
That was the least...
She actually gets a hand on it and then...
Right.
And you just see it absorbs the shock.
Coin!
Damn it.
Nestor's annoyed because he keeps moving to try to get a clear shot.
People keep standing in his way.
He takes another five foot step.
Get him off fucking white!
They're like, you're no problem against the Scrags!
Is this some retcon? Get him off fucking white. They were like, you're no problem against the Scrags. And he takes a study target deadly aim on the one that Della just attacked.
Try to attack.
That is a hit.
All right.
So Ness is just...
37 points of damage.
It's so cool here on Hero Lab.
It just says in the side here, no damage taken.
Dot dot dot. Yet.
37 points of damage. 37 points of damage. And my second attack.
Single shot.
Natural 20!
Oh boy!
Exploding die!
Critical threat!
Critical threat!
It is a critical threat. It just can't, no, we can't crit. Critical. Critical. Critical threat.
It is a critical threat.
It just can't possibly work.
Exploding die.
Okay, exploding die.
No.
It's a 220.
14.
14 damage.
14 damage on the next attack.
Yeah.
Alright.
You know, if we were smart, we would be standing back and letting Nestor shatter the shells
and then moving in.
But because we're all going to take damage when it explodes.
Right.
Good point.
Good point.
All right.
Point taken.
Sir Will runs away.
You're so much smarter than Della.
I know.
All right.
Let's see here.
The one to the far east is going to do two slam attacks on Della.
Before you go.
No!
I'd like to finally enact my teamwork feat.
Oh.
Oh.
And shoot.
I'm going to resolve against his regular AC because I believe that grip point is gone.
Yeah.
Okay.
But it's a negative two to my roll.
Okay.
And my gun is loaded and ready to fire.
And you've also got Della in your way.
Yeah, and it's a plus two to its AC.
That's fine.
I still want to take the shot.
Okay.
All right.
All right.
All right, Baron.
Allow it.
That is a fumble, potentially.
It's not a one, is it?
It is a one.
You have to roll a D100 to hit Della.
Oh, no.
No.
Wait, what is it?
A 10% chance, right?
We were just talking about this a couple episodes ago.
Yeah, we were.
But wait, if it's a confirmed fumble, isn't it a 20% chance?
There's a lot of things happening right now because of the gunslinger.
First, let's see if it's a confirmed fumble.
Yeah, first roll the d20.
27, not a...
All right, not a confirmed fumble.
However, now roll a d100.
You have a 10% chance to hit Dell, I think.
A 64.
A 46.
So you're fine.
See?
This was a fun change of the rule.
All right.
So just a straight up fumble
and misfire.
Yes.
And misfire.
During your little teamwork feat.
All right.
Troy, you seem strangely satisfied.
All right.
Going to take it to Slamtown
against Della.
28 on the first slam.
Della, that first one's going to be 11 points of damage.
Troy, is it true that Slamtown's the capital of Pain Town?
It sure is.
It sure is.
I want to get a crit.
Come on, Troy.
It's the capital of Pain-sylvania.
Pain-sylvania.
19, Della, on the second one.
Miss on the second one.
The other one,
five foot steps
that puts it
within reach of Umlo.
It was already
in reach of Umlo,
so it takes an attack
of opportunity from Umlo.
Not on a five foot step.
Damn it.
Nice try.
Two attacks.
Yeah, but does it
have a swim speed?
It casts monkey fish
as a swim action.
Might be the end of Umlo.
First attack on Umlo, 16.
Miss.
Okay.
Second attack on Umlo, natty 19.
That is going to be a hit.
So close.
15 points of damage.
Okay.
What's Umlo at?
15.
Oh, boy.
He's got to get out of there.
He's staggered.
So these things just come up.
They move kind of slow, but their attacks are viciously fast.
It's like, boom, boom, with these heavy, heavy clay hands.
And you know, animating the clay inside is this strange worm rot.
And it is Umlo's turn.
He is staggered.
Once he takes a standard or move action, he will fall unconscious.
Why? Why? When you're staggered. Oh, that's only... Yeah, when you're staggered, you.... He is staggered. Once he takes a standard or move action, he will fall unconscious. Why?
Why?
When you're staggered.
Oh, that's only...
Yeah, when you're staggered, you...
Why is he staggered?
Why is he staggered?
I thought you had 15 hit points left.
Yeah, he has 15 hit points left now.
Oh, okay.
You're fine then.
Oh, yeah.
He's totally fine.
Jesus.
Umlo's going to full withdraw.
Umlo, full withdraw.
All right.
That will not provoke Sir Will.
Yeah.
Sir Will is going to say,
Umlo, stay back!
And he is going to move around
to interpose himself between the giant
or the mud elemental thing and Umlo.
And he'll just take a swing
with Roselight fighting defensively
and hits.
Yeah.
And does seven points of damage.
Okay, against the...
The one that just attacked on low. The one that just attacked on low, yeah.
Okay. And then he takes a second attack,
natural 20! Oh! There we go.
That's what he basically needed to hit it, and he does
five points of damage.
Okay, so it was... Oh, wait! Exploding next, but it didn't explode.
Okay. 13, then five?
13, no, seven, total
of 13 in both rounds. Total of 13.
Alright, alright. Joe, you've never
rolled this well. No, I am rolling left.
This is my man Elwood,
fan of the show Elwood. Oh, I loved Elwood.
Yeah, at Gen Con, he gave me this die
and he was like, this die is
terrible. And it only
rolls crap for me, so I thought you should have it.
Maybe you'll turn it around.
It's like a great tonight. It's like an anti thought you should have it. Oh, wow. Maybe you'll turn it around, and it's rolled great tonight.
It's like an anti-matter to you.
Exactly, exactly.
Elwood and I sang karaoke together, but he got me so drunk,
I don't remember what we sang.
Then he slipped Joe a faulty die.
Round four.
All right, one down, two to go,
but you know it's like facing six creatures,
knowing what's inside.
Yeah, really.
Wait, do they all have the same thing inside?
Maybe we'll find out.
Baron, that gun is not working for you.
Throw it in the water, call it a day?
Baron is...
By the way, Baron, correct me if I'm wrong.
You are either out of grit or have one grit left, and yet again, a misfired gun.
Tell us the truth.
Baron has one point of grit left.
He's all right.
Limit his options.
However, he is going to tend to his dwarven friend or at least get into position to do so on his next turn.
He's going to spend a standard action to clear his gun, which you can do.
Quick clear.
Okay.
Without spending a grip point.
Fair enough.
Very smart. Fair enough.
And I'm going to move 20 feet towards my
good buddy Umlo, so I can cast
cure light wounds on him next round.
The dwarves are migrating south
to heal
their wounds and broken weapons.
It is wintertime.
It must be winter, yeah.
What are we even doing here?
What does it all mean?
I don't know how you found religion
and lost all your self-esteem.
And I don't know
where that voice comes from.
I almost had a rough night.
I'm questioning everything.
Del and Arn.
Del is going to spell combat
spell strike and try this again.
Okay.
I'm going to roll the cast defensively. Yeah. He loves it. spell strike and try this again. Okay. I'm gonna roll the cast defensively.
Yeah.
He loves it.
There we go.
Makes it.
Okay.
And then here's, uh, the spell strike, the spell, the spell, goddammit.
Here's the spell strike attack.
Okay.
Uh, 17 to hit.
17 is a hit.
Possibly.
Roll for spell resistance.
I got all my d6s in my hand.
17.
You're all right.
All right.
You old so-and-so.
You old bag of hammers.
What?
What?
Were you channeling it through the blade?
You weren't doing the touch attack, right?
Through the blade.
So I got to roll 10d6. Oh!
Nope. 11? 11d6.
Oh, 11d6. I love that number.
11d.
42 points of damage.
42 points.
And it is just going
to explode! And it explodes!
Oh no! Lexington!
Guard yourself! Lexington,
Sir Will, Della all roll
reflex saves.
What was the DC again? 21.
21. Sir Will fails.
Lexington makes it this time. Della passes.
Alright, 12 points of damage
to Sir Will, 6 to
Lexington and Della
as this mass of
ooze and worms
emerges from the clay shell.
Della, is that your turn?
No, no, I've got some more to come.
I've got my two attacks. By all means.
First attack.
Fifteen to hit.
That is a hit.
Nice.
I think it's got like AC5
That's what I'm guessing
14 points of damage
Okay
And last attack
13 to hit
That is also a hit
This thing is an easy target
15 points of damage
Okay
So Della cracks it open
Flaming shocking scimitar
Just worms going everywhere
Burning up as the flames
start sizzling.
Nestor.
Nestor is going to take another five-foot step.
He's just basically edging his way
along the wall, just
firing arrows the whole time.
He's like a basketball player
working his way around the key.
It's like a three-point contest
at the NBA All-Star Weekend.
Which one are you going for, though?
I'm going for the one
that Della is fighting.
Okay.
And take first shot,
many shots at the targets.
That's a hit.
Okay.
Ooh.
Yes, 39 points of damage.
Beautiful.
And second attack.
That is 18.
That's a hit.
Easy.
Easy pick.
You are rolling great damage.
21 more points of damage.
Oh, my God.
All right.
I was wrong, by the way.
It should be 12d6. Really? Shock and flame. Wow. All right, so... I was wrong, by the way. It should be 12d6.
Really?
Shock and flame.
Wow.
All right.
So 9d6 for the magus plus three more d6.
Because one's just for the blade.
One's for the blade.
Yeah, yeah.
All right, Nestor, you have...
Troy, you want to add on another 1d6 damage?
I can just roll for you right now.
Real quick damage.
I mean, that was so long.
I can't even remember what round that was. So I'm sorry. We just have to add on another 1d6 damage real quick real quick damage that was so long I can't even remember what round that was
so I'm sorry
we just have to move on
I wish I could help
I'd really love to help you
but I can't
his hands are tied
there's nothing he can do
what's that round
3
2
I just don't have it
in my notes
the other thing
can we roll back the tape
nah don't worry
if we recorded these things
it'd be a lot easier to go back, but I've got to keep it moving.
If only there were some record of this.
Aaron's also going to go ahead and enact his teamwork feat.
Hey, Baron, I'm on your mic.
Get on there.
Talk to me about this teamwork feat you want to enact.
Within 30 feet.
Okay.
I think I'm within 30 feet.
I don't think you are.
Is that 30?
5, 10, 15, 20, 20.
You're just within 30, you son of a bitch.
It's like Bruce and Steve. All right, tell me what you got. All right, 20, 20. You're just within 30, you son of a bitch. It's like Bruce and Steve.
All right, tell me what you got.
All right, let's roll.
It's against his regular AC and minus 2.
Well, I'm going to roll with the app because I can't read this die.
Now, wait.
Just so you know, Della was attacking this one back here.
This one.
Oh, yeah, so I have to shoot the guy that it's actually against the same one.
But you're not within 30 of the far one.
It's within 30 of the person who enacts it. Oh. So to take a shot at the same target not within i'm within 30 of
the person who successfully makes the attack which is nester i see so you enact that on nesters right
now yeah at the same target regardless of how far away you are from the target so i'm taking it looks
like i'm two range increments out so i'm going to subtract four from my roll, and it's going to
give you against regular AC. Okay.
But this thing has such a low AC, and
plus another two to its AC. Let's see.
He's going to have to roll pretty low.
So that's a ten. Ten.
Regular AC. And
it gets a plus two. You're still going to
hit it.
It's five.
It's AC five, I'm telling you.
So that is a 16 damage.
16 damage on that creature.
Thanks, Nester.
You're welcome, buddy.
Let's see if you continue to ruin all my fun.
It goes to engulf Della.
Della, you can move the reflex to get out of the way,
or you can try to kill it.
This time Della's going to take the reflex.
Ah, okay.
It's a lonely game.
19.
Ooh, baby.
Did I get you, Del?
Did I get you?
I got you.
Oh, no.
For a lot of damage.
Oh, no.
And is it paralyzed and shit?
This is bad news.
I mean, Della always gets engulfed.
Let me just...
Does she always come back?
Oh, no, that was your other character.
One, two, three, four, five...
Those were all D10s.
...six D20s.
Six D20s.
Oh, my goodness.
I didn't even know I had that many D20s.
Oh, my goodness. I didn't even know I had that many d20. Oh, boy.
27 points of acid damage.
Oh, no.
And I'm going to need you to roll a fortitude save.
Oh, no.
This is it.
This is the paralyzed check.
That's not going to work.
18.
Stop rolling that die.
You don't feel good, Della. You don't know if it's from the failed fortitude save
or the fact that you are pinned and suffocating
as worms are crawling into your mouth.
Oh, my God!
We are entering suffocation rules for Della right now.
No.
And it is now the other one's turn,
the one that is still in its clay form.
What's your constitution score, Della?
It is
14.
14. You have 28 rounds
if you do nothing.
Every time you do something, it double
ticks away. Otherwise, you suffocate and die.
This one here will
do two slams on Sir
Will. Worms
crawling in your mouth, Della. He's holding Willamette. Will, worms crawling in your mouth.
Primary.
He's holding up his shield.
Attack number one.
You think you're tough, Sir Will?
I do.
I do.
I think I will be blessed.
Oh, I don't think you're blessed against a 30.
No, I'm not.
I'm not.
All right.
First attack, 12 points of damage.
Boom.
Second attack. I'm going to roll on the floor. I need more. All right. First attack, 12 points of damage. Boom! Second attack.
I'm going to roll on the floor.
I need more room.
Oh!
That is going to be a 25 to hit.
Oh, miss!
You son of a gun!
Boom!
Boom!
Oh, beautiful.
Nice.
You look to your right, though, and you see Della is covered in this thing,
and the worms are just...
She can't breathe she's pinned
there's smoke coming off of her from the searing
acid right like all over burning
through her clothes she'll never dance again
oh god
I'm umlauk
that's one of those times
I wish there was a camera
I looked at literally everybody
in the room
we're all staring at Matt Sometimes I wish there was a camera. I looked at literally everybody in the room. I was like, hmm?
We're all staring at Matt. Oh, wait.
Umla is going to move up and attack the one that hasn't exploded yet.
Okay.
Now, you know that Baron came back there to heal you.
He came back with a purpose.
You can also hold.
I'll hold.
Umla.
Delay.
I'll delay.
So Umla will delay. I'll hold. I'm low. Delay. I'll delay. So I'm low, Will. Delay.
I'll delay.
Sir Will.
What am I trusting in my hand?
Does Sir Will believe that he could possibly...
Can he touch Della if he gets up there?
As she is engulfed and pinned, no.
So he can't even touch part of her skin?
I'm going to say no.
Like reach in like Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom style into the bugs.
I'll allow it.
Okay. Sir Will
is gonna say, Della no! And he's gonna step
up and ignore the
damage coming from this thing for a second
and lay on hands to Della.
Do me a favor. Roll a fortitude save.
Me? Yep.
Oh shit. You're sticking your hands
in this rotten worm mess.
As long as he doesn't touch his eyes or mouth.
I am blessed.
That is a 32.
Yes.
You're okay.
He's really rolling better than I've ever seen.
Oh, come on!
God.
Cheese and crackers.
Take it back.
That is five.
Five points of healing.
I'm trying to help!
So Sir Will just sticks his hand in this wormy
mess and is crawling over the cuts and
abrasions that are still healing
from your last few battles. He believes that this acid is going to start
just killing her, so he's trying to just
give her some life.
Smart. It's very brave of you, Sir Will.
Round five. Okay. It's very brave of you, Sir Will. Round five.
Okay.
What's going to happen?
Actually, no.
Sorry.
I'm not done.
Lexington's going to take a bite at this thing.
Not the one that has Della.
The other one.
Because they're right next to each other.
And he misses.
And he misses.
Okay.
Round five.
Baron.
So Baron is going to heal for a total of ten points.
Nice.
So bring an omel Umlo some juice.
And Baron is going to stay where he is considering how easy these things are to hit.
And how useless his gun has been.
Yep.
Umlo, you want to go?
Yes.
Umlo is going to drink a potion of Cure Sirius.
Okay.
There you go.
So he heals 22 hit points.
Oh, that's great.
He's back in the fight.
Yeah, man. And then he's going to move up within 15 feet of Oh, that's great. He's back in the fight. Yeah, man.
And then he's going to move up within 15 feet of the one that's still encased.
Just in time for it to explode.
So it's going to have to not five foot step to get to me.
By the way, he drops a spear and runs towards it, right?
I need a visual.
Why doesn't he stay 20 feet away?
If he's 15 feet away, it can 5 foot step and then hit him.
It doesn't have 10 foot reach.
Oh, it doesn't have reach.
But I like Joe's idea because you can 5 foot step next to him.
Troy, does it have 10 feet of natural reach?
It does.
Okay, so it's a 20 feet away.
I thought it didn't.
All right, it's Della's turn.
Now, Della, you're pinned.
Yeah, what can I do?
I think you can still escape, artist.
You can.
You're pinned.
I put the pinned condition on. Alright, so that should just
give you all of your negatives
to it. So,
yeah, you're pinned.
You can
attempt to... A pinned creature cannot
move, denied its dex bonus, but is not
flat-footed, takes an additional minus four
penalty to its AC, can always
attempt to free itself, usually through a combat
maneuver check or escape artist check.
Fight, Della!
Free yourself!
17?
That is a fail. Oh no.
And now you take two rounds
away from your suffocating.
Because you're struggling. So you're down to
26 rounds to permadeath.
Oh no.
But don't forget, this thing is still going.
Nester.
All right.
Now seeing that what's happened to Della,
like he's desperately like really focusing his ire
and his arrows into this thing.
First attack, many shots.
That is a hit.
Nice.
Rolling rocks.
That is 32 points of damage.
For all the arrows that accidentally hit Della in the back,
this one may have just saved her life.
Yeah!
Kills the second ooze.
And she's like, swash.
But there is one more of these creatures left, known as a beneo.
Beneo.
Beneo.
Can you spell it?
B-E-N-A-I-O-H.
Language of origin?
Can you use it in a sentence?
Can you use it in a sentence?
The beneos are going to kill you.
Really?
All right.
All right, Ness, you still have a couple shots left.
All right, so after killing the worm thing,
it looks at Daddy.
I want you to remember this.
And then he turns his attention to the other one.
Does swift action study targets?
That is a 17. 17, clear shot? Yes. Clear shot. That is still a 17.
17.
Clear shot?
Yes.
Clear shot.
That is still a hit.
Awesome.
20 points of damage.
Okay.
And it's still encased in clay, right?
Still in clay.
Still has the magic shell.
Enclased in clay.
Still encased in clay.
Just enclased.
Just enclased.
He has the enclased condition.
And it is the enclased creature's turn.
It's going to take a five foot step down, down south, and just spray.
But that's where the dwarves live.
Down south.
Why would you do that?
They're vacation homes.
They'll be destroyed.
It's going to spray on Will and Della.
Oh, no.
And this acid spray comes out.
11 points of damage.
Acid damage.
And I need you both to roll a Fortitude save.
Della, you already failed it, so just Sir Will.
Okay, Sir Willamette.
There you go.
29.
29.
You're all right.
Yes.
Oh, actually, he's immune to disease.
Is he?
Oh, is he?
Well, I mean, I thought I asked before, and I thought he indicated I was, but I still see.
All right.
And it's your turn, Sir Will.
This thing is still encased in carbonite.
He turns around and he says...
Should be quite well protected.
Should be quite well protected. Should be quite well protected.
Here's a life and a perfect
hibernation.
When he gets out,
he'll have to look so 45.
Oh, God, I just want to drink malt
liquor somewhere right now.
I want one so bad right now.
All right, so he had just laid on hands Della,
and she's on the other side of him. He's going to turn around back to this
creature and say,
Stay away from her, you bitch!
Oh, man.
Very Sir Will-like.
That's a hit.
He does six points of damage.
And then another swing
hits and does
five points of damage.
Alright. Chip chipping away with Roselight there.
Chipperoo, round six.
Is little Lexington going to do anything?
Yeah, Lexington, we're desperate here.
He's going to take a bite.
Oh, I mean, it probably hits.
Yeah, it definitely hits.
And he does five points of damage.
All right, so Lexington takes a big chunk out,
and it's still in its shell.
Round six.
Baron, you've come back.
You've done some healing.
Your gun's not working for you.
What do you want to do?
I'm going to try to break it.
Oh, man.
No, it's clear.
It's clear.
We're good.
But I might misfire and misfire again.
We'll see.
First off, Baron's going to take a five-foot step.
He already has.
I've already taken it on the board, Joe. Right there. And he's going to take a five-foot step. He already has. I've already taken it on the board, Joe.
Right there.
And he's going to do a full round attack rapid shot deadly aim.
Nice.
Point blank shot.
Ooh, baby.
He's got all his juice, right?
Got all his juice.
And the first shot, using his final grit point, will be up close and deadly.
Oh, man.
Don't misfire.
Misfire.
Oh! With his last bit. It was a don't misfire. Misfire.
With his last It was a two on the die.
Oh my god.
But I still graze him with
2d6 points of damage, even with a miss.
Wait, that's right.
So that's one.
And what the hell is that?
Three points of damage.
And it explodes on the greys.
Oh, wow.
Explodes on the greys.
And let's see here.
13 points of damage to anybody that fails their reflex save.
And that's going to be Amlo.
That's everybody but me, right?
No, even Nestor this time.
Anyone within 30 feet.
Reflex save.
DC 21. What about 30 feet, reflex save. DC 21.
What about Sir Will?
Come on.
He's not standing over prone Della?
Is Della unconscious?
Well, no.
She was in the ooze.
I assumed that when it died, she probably slopped down.
All right.
Whatever.
I was just saying he's between her and him.
If anything, Della gets a bonus to her reflex save because she's...
Is she prone?
Yeah, she's prone.
Okay. Della passes. Okay. All right. because she's... Is she prone? Yeah, she's prone. Okay.
Della passes.
Okay.
All right, and Sir Will fails and Lexington fails.
Baron fails.
Baron.
Humble passes.
Okay, and Nestor...
Nestor passes.
All right.
With long colors.
Thank you.
13 damage to all those who failed.
Six to the successors.
As the final beneo just explodes and these clay shards go
everywhere. Now it's down
to one ooze. Let's take a little
hit point check in on a couple people that have been
beaten up. Della, where you at?
Della is at 37.
Della's at 37.
It's not bad. Umlo?
Umlo's at 47.
Okay. And Baron,
you're not a hit point
Problem right now
You're just aiming and shooting
This has been one of my worst shooting episodes
Yeah ever
Umlo
Umlo is going to take
He's going to rage
And he's going to take a full attack action
With heart spiat Heart spiat Spiat Rage. Ah! And he's going to take a full attack action.
Oh, boy.
Heart spiat!
Spiat, spiat, spiat, spiat, spiat, spiat.
I predict a natural 20 here since the confirm won't matter.
Check off the rage.
And he's going to power attack as well.
Nice.
There you go. I bet he is.
Yeah, because he's got the low AC.
Oh, you know what?
He should also do combat expertise.
Can he do both of those?
I think he can. I think he can. He can increase his AC because this thing is so easy to hit. Oh, you know what? He should also do combat expertise. Can he do both of those? I think he can.
I think he can.
Increases AC because this thing is so easy to hit.
Oh, that's true, yeah.
All right, so that...
Something's wrong.
Something's very wrong.
Oh, no, it's all right.
All right, okay.
19 to hit.
19 will hit.
So that's 2d6 plus 14.
Nice.
Now, one and a one on the d6.
Box, guys! Box, guys! No, no, no. One and a one on the d6. Boxcob!
Boxcob!
Boxcob!
No, no, no.
That one's snake boxes.
Snake boxes.
16 points of damage.
Okay.
And then the second hits as well.
There you go.
And then 24 points of damage on the second one.
Okay.
Beautiful.
All right.
All right.
Two big, big hits.
Yummy, yummy, yummy.
He's going to take a five-foot step back next to Baron.
All right. Five. And say, come big, big hits. Yummy, yummy, yummy. He's going to take a five-foot step back next to Baron. All right.
And say, come at me, worms.
Come at me, worms.
The worms reply.
Take your time.
Della, you're on the ground.
You're just like spitting these gross green worms out of your mouth.
Della's going to cast Magic Missile from the ground.
There you go.
Yeah, I love that.
Beautiful.
Bottle cap.
No, I'm kidding.
Lying on the ground covered in slime, like smoke coming off of her skin.
Right behind Lexington and Sir Will.
And she shoots and the missiles just go around them.
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, but do they have spell resistance?
They do not have spell resistance.
Not with the shell.
Twelve points of damage.
Ooze state.
All right.
And then she will stand up.
Excellent.
Then she stands up.
Nice round.
Nice round.
A little applause for...
Give him a bottle cap.
She gagged.
He shot magic missile.
Magic missile.
That's one of my favorites.
Nothing gets Troy Cormack. A little magic missile. A shot Magic Missile. Magic Missile. That's one of my favorites. Nothing gets Troy Cormier.
A little Magic Missile.
A little number one spell.
I'm glad you can't see under this table.
I love Magic Missile a little too much.
Oh, no.
You see my Magic Missile.
Nestor, you're up.
Take it home.
I'm going to...
Take it home, Nestor.
Take it home, Tori.
He's going to focus
all of his
rage
ire
murderous
intense
on the remaining
pile of worms
multi-shot
study target
deadly aim
that's
that's a hit
you pretty much
have to roll a natural
one to miss
yeah yeah
he's due
he's been rolling
20s
31 points of damage
oh
baby second attack that's a hit 20s. 31 points of damage. Oh, baby.
Second attack.
It's a hit.
There you go.
20 more points of damage.
20 points of damage on the second one.
This thing looks like it's not long for the world.
What are we going to do here?
What are you going to do, brother?
Sir Will.
It doesn't know that Sir Will blocks every single attack,
so it's just going to attempt to engulf Sir Will and Lexington.
Oh, boy.
Well, that doesn't matter, right?
You can...
That has nothing to do with my AC.
No, but you have a choice.
Do you want to try to attack it,
or do you want to try and use Lexington's reflex save to get out of the way?
I'll use Lexington's reflex save to get out of the way.
I'll spur Lexington.
Spur.
Spur away.
Draw roll, draw roll, draw roll.
21.
Damn it, I think that was just a DC 22.
Oh, no!
Chicken and cheese. I think that was just a... DC 22. Oh! Whoa! Ha ha!
Oh!
Yeah!
Oh, no. Chicken and cheese.
Ha ha ha!
Oh, no.
66 plus 8.
So we're both like...
Oh, that's awful.
Engulfed.
Oh, I see some fives.
I see four fives, a six, and a three.
Oh.
29 points of damage.
No, excuse me. Plus 8. 29 points of damage. No, excuse me.
Plus eight.
37 points of damage to both of you.
Jesus.
Geez, that crackers indeed.
It's not non-lethal by any chance.
It's burning acid.
You are suffocating.
You are pinned.
You have fallen off of Lexington, and worms are crawling into both of your mouths.
Lexington needs to roll a fortitude save.
Was it 37?
It sure was.
Well, he had already failed one earlier, so does that...
Oh, did Lexington fail?
Yeah, Lexington already has it.
Okay.
And Sir Will...
No, no, no.
I mean, is this different than the spit?
No, same thing.
Same thing.
It was spitting itself.
It was spitting its ooze worm.
Its worms.
Its oozy worms.
And Sir Will, you are immune to disease as we determined.
Oh, sweet.
And so, okay, so we both get engulfed in this thing.
I'm just trying to make sure when I'm...
What about armor?
Does it take any damage?
It does not corrode.
Acid does.
It should, but it doesn't.
Okay.
In terms of the movement.
And are they pinned like that?
They are both pinned.
So you just got knocked. As it comes in, the worms push you off of Lexus, Okay. In terms of the moves. And are they pinned like that? They are both pinned. So you just got knocked.
As it comes in, the worms push you off of Lexington.
You both fall to the floor, are pinned, worms crawling up your nose, in your ears, in your mouth.
You go suffocating.
And it is Sir Will's turn.
Sir Will is just going to, like, he knows there's no point in struggling.
He's too heavy, and he's just going to reach out to Lexington, and he's going to lay on hands Lexington.
Ah, lay on hands Lexington.
Just try to keep him up.
He does eight points of healing.
Lexington's at 12 right now.
Wow.
So eight points brings him to 20.
We've got to take him out this round.
I think he's down a lot.
Yeah, I think he is too.
Everyone's trying to survive him.
Is this coming from Skid or Nestor, the character who loves animal companions?
Yeah, this is Skid.
Skid loves the wolf. I can't believe that was very out of character, Nestor, the character who loves animal companions? Yeah, this is Skid. Skid loves the wolf.
Can't believe that was very out of character, Nestor.
Yeah, yeah. You also have a speaking a totally different accent.
I'm shocked that it's gone this long. It's round seven.
And Nestor and Skid are both correct. This thing is on its last legs.
Sir Will, it doesn't even feel that powerful, but it's just the weight of centuries-old worms on top of you.
It's just too much.
Baron, what are you going to do?
Standard action, clear your gun, right?
Or are you going to shoot and hopefully not misfire?
Well, if you would shut the hell up, I'll tell you.
Just want to run you through all the options.
Baron's going to drop his double-barreled pistol, and he's going to quick-draw his plus-one dragonbane pistol. Oh, wow.
If you'll allow it to be loaded, traveling.
Sure.
Absolutely.
I just want you to use it.
And he says, time to add a little dragon's breath to this worm stew.
That's pretty good.
That's pretty good.
That is pretty good.
And once again, he just responds.
Della, who's been tasting the worms, does not find that funny.
That is a hit, and the damage
is
22... Oh, wait. No.
Shit. Let me just roll it, because I think
it's adding the dragon's bane automatically to the damage.
1d6 plus
13. There we go.
That is
16 points of damage. Now, correct me
if I'm wrong.
Isn't that a spread shot that hits everybody?
But I also...
The other thing is it has a 10-foot range.
All right, so you move up.
You take one shot.
Well, that provokes, too.
Oh, wait.
Does it have reach and warm form?
I'm not leaving a thread in squared.
Well, no, for the shot.
For the shot, to take the shot.
Got it.
Yeah, it will get a slam.
But the more important thing is that includes Sir Will and Lexington for the shot. For the shot, to take the shot. Got it. Yeah, it will get a slam,
but the more important thing is that includes Sir Will and Lexington in that shot.
Do they get a reflex save on that?
Do I get a reflex save? I don't think they get it.
Is it against an AC?
It's a 15-foot cone.
15-foot cone.
Oh, so...
But what if I turn...
Well, no, we're inside of it.
Oh, fudge.
Yeah, it's engulfed you.
I was thinking, though, that that wouldn't
matter. Yeah, shit.
So you just feel a spread shot.
Sir Will, you take, what, 13 points of damage?
Doesn't it resolve against my AC?
Didn't you have to roll to hit? I did.
Yeah, so it resolves against my
AC. It would be probably my
flat-footed AC. Yeah. Okay, and what's
it's your pinned AC. And
Lexington's pinned AC. Yeah, but we have...
We're full of armor.
I rolled a 21 to hit.
Yeah, so that's a miss.
Was that Miss Lexington as well?
Yeah.
Pinned.
Excellent.
Yeah, because it's just our armor.
You know, our armor...
Their armor base level is...
Lexington's...
Oh, actually, you know what?
Let me check Lexington,
because he might be different flat-footed.
While you're doing that...
16 points of damage.
It goes to slam you first
before you get that shot off.
He has a 19 flat footed.
21. Oh, so
damn it! So Lexington does get that
spread shot. So he takes 13?
Well, yeah, I know, but you're also just trying to kill it.
16 points of damage.
Now I'll tell you this, Baron. You killed it.
Oh, okay.
However, it was worth it. It got
the attack of opportunity off before 22 against your AC.
That is what we like to call, in the gameplay business, a hit.
Way to draw it out.
Let me talk to you about this.
It's number one with a bullet.
Its last bit of damage it's going to do is 1d12 plus 12 plus 1d6 plus your fortitude save.
Or did you already fail?
I passed a fortitude save against it.
Go ahead and roll another one.
Okay.
Oh, one on the d12.
Oh, there we go.
28.
Blessings of Torek.
And you're fine.
So it's going to be 13 plus 5, 18 points of acid damage, and the fight is over.
Yeah!
Man, that was like...
That was long.
That was work.
Way longer than it should have been.
That was like coming to work.
That was juicy.
That was like the pilot of the deuce.
Who failed their four or two saves?
Della?
Della did.
Lexington?
Anyone else?
I'm low past. I'm Anyone else? I'm low past.
I'm low past? Or you didn't even have to roll it.
Lexington is at four hit points out of
92. Well,
before you can do
anything, as the combat ends,
Lexington and Della
take 1d3 con damage.
Oh no. And then we're gonna go
round by round to see if you can cure damage. Oh no. And then we're going to go round by round to see if you can cure it.
Oh no.
Lexington takes two points of con damage.
Oh, well that knocks him unconscious probably.
It's close.
It's real close.
Della takes two points of con damage.
Both of you roll a fortitude save.
Are we in combat rounds, basically?
Could we get the ointment?
Ointment's gone.
The ointment's gone?
You guys used that?
We used all of it.
Can I heal them as they're taking?
Yeah, what we'll do is we'll keep walking in combat order here.
Okay?
So, uh...
Oh, shit.
Alright, so Lexington
is now at negative five.
Alright.
Baron. Yes.
You see this. Look where you're standing.
So Lexington goes unconscious.
Lexington falls to the ground. Della
is still standing, but you see Della is weak as well.
I see Lexington faint,
and I move in order to cast Cure Light Wounds on Lexington,
feeling terribly for shooting him with Buckshot.
That is max 11 points of healing.
Awesome.
11 points of healing.
Okay.
Lexington wakes up.
Amla.
Amla is going to rush into the center
and drop to a knee and channel.
Nice. Nice.
Nice.
Five points of healing.
Excellent.
So Della takes two points of con damage.
Lexington takes two points of con damage.
Lexington falls unconscious.
Baron comes up.
Cure light wounds on Lexington.
Brings him back up.
And then Umlo channels.
You guys are sickened.
Della and Lexington,
but for now, the disease is just working its way through your system,
and you sit there with two con damage.
You feel like this is something you're going to have to address every single day.
Okay, so it's going to be a daily tick, not like a round-by-round tick.
Right.
Okay.
Jesus, yeah.
Can we do, like, a healing check to determine what the disease is?
Sure.
Go ahead.
And we're sickened?
Or like we have the condition
to sicken?
21.
That'll
sicken
wears off.
21.
They have a disease
known as worm rot.
I inform the unfortunate
patients.
This is a pretty high
fortitude save
they're going to have to make every single day.
And if they fail,
they become sickened with 1d3 con damage.
And the worst part is
you have to make two consecutive saves to cure it.
So every day you're going to have to keep trying.
And your Fortitude save is going to keep going down
as you lose Constitution.
Did I roll enough to know what the save is?
It's fortitude-based, but you don't know the DC.
I'd love to know the DC because I can touch a lot of these people before they make them.
But you know it's high.
I might also have to use Knowledge Pool to get Bear's Endurance on us.
Oh, yeah.
Bear's Endurance would help.
We could do that in the morning.
For the moment, the battle feels as if it's been won.
Well, and I really loved these creatures,
because as I was playing through,
I thought about a little theory as to what they are,
which are...
You ready to hear it, Troy?
I'm ready.
I think they're ancient giant warriors
who've rotted inside of these encased tombs,
and their spirit and their remains,
and it's all mixed up together,
and they're strangely beyond the grave
still trying to defend this place from intruders.
I think that is pretty accurate.
Get out of here!
And you're going to get a bottle cap.
Yeah!
Wait, wait, wait, what?
So they were stone giants that died
and were encased in clay?
So on this little sluice gate,
I guess some are anointed, I think.
Some are just like on the head, like with oil at a baptism or whatever.
And I think a few chosen ones were turned into these statues, like their best soldiers, maybe.
But over the centuries, they rotted and became worms.
Well, the worms came in and ate the flesh.
And it's really cool because it's a lot like ancient Egyptian type of things where they removed like brains and internal organs purposefully so that they could mummify people effectively.
Yeah.
These giants weren't smart enough to do that.
So they just rot it.
Huh.
Idiots.
Yeah.
Dumb giants.
What do you guys want to do in this enormous room?
Nestor and Baron found some things in that cabinet down there.
There were 20 blocks of clay, two magical blocks of clay, and a stone,
magical stone tablet.
There's also a workbench on the northwest corner of the room and a table
next to a mortar and pestle.
Let's spellcraft those things.
Those seem important to Mimrith's maker, Della, right?
Yeah, that seems like a good idea.
Della will go over.
Check out those blocks.
So let's roll separately
for better chances. I roll a 9.
So it's all on you, Della.
Nice. 30.
The two bricks that are
magical as opposed to the 20 that are not
are bricks of black fire clay.
Not what we need.
Not much you need per se.
They're just things that can
mold it to, I think it gives you
resistance against elements.
However, the clay tablet, not unlike
what you found in Jargrathir's Rest,
is a scroll.
Nice.
An ancient giant scroll
of transmute rock to mud. Nice. Ancient giant scroll. Very cool. Of transmute rock to mud.
Oh. Interesting.
Huh. So if we
use that on one of the bricks, is that
or some sort of brick, would that
produce the clay? Can we use
the scroll? That's a good question.
Who casts that besides druids?
You have 20 blocks
of clay there though
And you can use that
In the mechanism if you so choose
Wizards can
In what mechanism?
The sluice
So are we supposed to put the rocks
The bricks into the mechanism
And create the clay
Baron would know from his engineering check
That you would put water
On the blocks To turn it into clay.
And if this is indeed the sacred clay that you need, that's what you have to do.
I'd keep sacred clay in a closet.
So just the regular sacred clay, this is what we probably need to line the forge.
These blocks are what we came for.
So we can take them and then we just add, you simply add water.
Or use the scroll like in the forge.
Now, is there anything magical about the sluice that would require us to turn it into clay here and transport it wet?
Is there something we should know that way?
What you know is what Atena told you, that Mimrit the Maker would use this shrine to Fundara to create the sacred clay.
I think we have to do it here.
So let's take the bricks and sluice them up.
Well, I don't know.
We could use the pestle.
I don't know if we could use the mortar and pestle for something.
Add water in there, mix it up.
But there is a danger, because it is very large, oversized,
that would be quite comical, and someone would make fun of the person doing it. Good large, oversized, that would be quite comical,
and someone would make fun of the person doing it.
Good point, Nestor.
I'm just pointing that out.
I volunteer, sir, will.
I'm on it.
That is excellent.
He rides over it enthusiastically and grabs a block.
I think we should try to use this machine.
Baron, you know how it works.
Take a clay cube.
Baron's excited to be crafting it.
Put it in the machine.
Craft some magical clay.
But the thing is,
how do we transport the clay to the forge?
Well, do we have any mason jars or anything?
Is there something around?
Let's look.
Let's tell everyone.
Spread out.
Let's look through everything.
Just looking around,
you see on the workbench
there's stuff you could use there to transport,
especially with the bag of holding.
Once you make the clay, you can
throw it in there and make it work.
The bench is
cluttered with an assortment of primitive
sculpting tools fashioned from a wide
array of metals, including bone,
horn, stone, and there's
also some modern-looking
tools as well, but they're all badly rusted.
Up top to the table
next to the mortar and pestle just has blocks of pigment and rotted
paintbrushes. But you see jars and stuff. You could make it
work. I'd rather overthink it. Can we talk about it for a while?
How we're going to get it back? But how does Della have any interest
in taking part in this where she felt
where Atena felt that she was linked to.
Yeah, I mean, she'd like to load the bricks
into the machine if that's possible.
Sure, so you need to collect water from the sluice
and then mix it in the mortar and pestle.
You can also bring the bricks right over to the sluice
and create it there and scoop it.
We'll do that version.
I'll actually let her do it all together
because it seems like that's what should happen.
All right, so Della, you bring the clay over
and you kind of just hop over the shallow water there.
I'm sure you've got the acrobatics.
You've got plus 10, right?
Over 10?
I have plus 16 acrobatics.
So you're fine.
So you backflip over, land on one toe.
Nestor goes up to the edge just to keep an eye on the water.
Yeah, Nestor's watching the water, and maybe they're handing you the clay across or throwing you the blocks of clay.
And you're just laying them on this stone tablet.
And for a moment, you just kind of get lost in thought.
And you lose yourself a little bit
and you feel weak
and you don't know if it's from the worm rot
or for something else but you look
back to where Nestor
was standing and he's no longer
there
but you see
dead bodies of
stone giants laying
all over the floor.
Sir Will's gone.
Amlo's gone.
Baron's gone.
Nestor's gone.
And you look to the other side,
and you see a tall, female stone giant
with very stern yet calm features
walking over to where you're standing,
where the water's coming out of the sluice.
And you look down and you see the body
of a stone giant laying at your feet.
And this woman comes over and takes the clay
and begins molding it around the body
of this deceased stone giant,
sculpting it and doing it in a very precise...
Ritualistic.
Ritualistic and also very holy way.
You don't see any anger in her eyes, any fear.
She takes paintbrushes and paints on the
clay after it's dried, like
a likeness of the giant
when it lived.
And then, with little
holes cracking
through the clay,
she goes into a jar, and she
pulls out handfuls
of worms.
She says a prayer over these worms and puts them inside of the sarcophagus,
most likely to eat the flesh within.
And then you come to and the rest of you see just Della lost it
There
And she's like she crumbles to one knee
Della are you okay?
I'm alright
You feeling under the weather?
I saw
A funeral
Or a funeral ritual
It was beautiful I saw Mimrith Making a funeral or a funeral ritual.
It was beautiful.
I saw Mimrith making
clay encasements
for the dead.
She like shakes it off
and her eyes, even though there's no pupils, she's like
and they're blank.
And in the back
of your mind tell you just
hear this voice calling out to you a
male voice it's like
like it's a voice traveling to you
through planes.
You have all four pieces to relight the forge.
And we'll see you next week.
I'm getting ready to throw
a shrimp on that barbie. The Glass Cannon Podcast is a Powerhouse and Tate production
