What's up young man?
What's going on? How you guys doing?
That's a gamer's chair you got there.
Dude, it's comfy, I'll tell you that.
That's what I hear.
I hear those are comfy. You got one?
Oh yeah, I got two.
They're real good?
Yeah, they're the best.
One for each cheek or what?
We're friends that laugh.
We're friends that shout.
Sometimes we don't know what we're talking about.
But that won't stop us
Nothing can stop us
It's like a show you used to love
Just rebranded enough
It's stronger, better, bigger power
Cause it is the Golden Hour.
It's the
Golden Hour.
That's a dope jersey, young man.
What up, what up?
Good looking, man. What's popping?
What's going on?
Can y'all hear me correctly?
Yeah, we hear you, dawg. Great beard.
Perfect, perfect. Hey, man, it's the baby beard, man.
Ah, better than mine.
Ah, shit.
How y'all doing, man?
So good, man.
What's up?
What you got for us, buddy?
We're chilling.
We were just talking about the flash.
Don't be so nervous.
You chilling?
You having it?
No, I think he's actually got it.
I'm nervous.
I ain't going to lie.
I'm pretty nervous right now.
You don't seem to be nervous.
I fuck with Brandon Hibby, and I fuck with all three of them.
I fuck with all three of them equally.
Is that an authentic Troy Palomaro jersey?
Oh, baby.
Oh, daddy.
That thing is fire.
I don't know what that means.
I wish I had one.
Calm it down.
We're going to calm it down.
If your shirt got papers on it, you know that shit's authentic, dude.
Great plan.
Your life grips need to have papers on it.
None of your merch got papers on it.
It ain't real.
I got to get papers on my merch.
What do you got for us, big dog?
Yeah, tell us what's going on.
Well, today I got who y'all go to when y'all kind of going through it mentally.
I kind of broke it down with Nick before I got on here.
About 2018, man, Brennan, ever since 2018, Brennan, you done had an impact on my life.
I was in a real negative mental space, dealing with a breakup, anxiety.
And recently, my brother died in February.
I'm sorry, buddy.
I've just been 13 years in prison.
He was home for about a year and four months and then passed in February.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I appreciate that.
But any time I went through anything, I was able to turn to the fighter and the kid.
I'm sorry.
Phoenix, be quiet.
That's my dog.
I was able to turn to Brandon, Brian Callen, Joe Rogan, all y'all, you know, to kind of change my perspective on life.
And I actually made a joke with Nick.
I mentioned him last week.
Y'all do.
Brandon, you got some black niggas that fuck with you in the urban community. I love it. I'll mentioned him last week. Y'all do, Brandon, you got some black niggas
that fuck with you in the urban community.
I love it.
I'll take it, brother.
Yeah, fuck you, man.
I'll take it, man.
But essentially, yeah, who do you go to,
whether it be music, a person, podcast,
whatever outlet you're in,
to sit down mentally?
That's a good question.
Because our whole thing
It's weird when you're in the entertainment industry
It's like at least for me
I just want to fucking be with my family
I just want to be with you know
I'll talk to my friends
Sometimes friends make it worse
Especially if they're in the business
I'm not trying to hear this right now
For me it was some therapy
Well right okay yes of course If you're talking that the me therapy I have men's groups I'm not trying to hear this right now. For me, it was some therapy. Well, right. Okay, yes, of course.
If you're talking that, the me therapy, I have men's groups I'm a part of.
I have 12-step meetings I go to.
I have them on Zoom.
I have them in person.
But as far as motivation, where do you turn to?
Motivation?
Yeah.
I guess my family and my family.
I'll go to a couple.
I have one friend who's way more successful than me. He's been through some shit. He has some experience. His name is Todd Feldman. I'll go to a couple of, like I have one friend who's way more successful.
I mean,
he's been through some shit.
He has some experience.
His name is Todd Feldman.
I usually call him.
He has good perspective.
As far as motivation goes,
if I'm sad,
I usually want to get happy.
I'll call like Bert Kreischer.
He's always sees the glass half full.
Bert's usually the one I go to,
to be honest.
Well,
I mean,
that's the thing though.
It's like,
like he said something very interesting about like looking at the podcast to get a different perspective, I mean, that's the thing, though. It's like he said something very interesting about looking at the podcast to get a different
perspective.
And I think that's important.
When you have a way of thinking, and then when someone else can help you think of something
different, because that's what happens in therapy.
And if you can do that outside of therapy, that's a great coping mechanism to help you
go, oh, you know what?
It's not as bad as I think it is. It's not as good as I
think it is. I'll be honest. I'm not going to say
Eric's a great one. When I
was going through some heavy shit, Eric's a great
one to have around. Great one.
Eric's a real one. You know what's so funny?
It's not funny, but
sometimes you just know. You just got to be empathetic.
I walked... We were here.
I walked in and I was like, Randy was listening
to some self-help or something. I was like, something was up yeah you know and i was like what's going
on and then you you know he took and then we just you just embrace your friend i just think that
it's important yeah like you know yeah yeah it is true you never know when one of your buddies
is struggling i mean you just never know man you really never know and so i think it's tough for
us too because we don't have a lot of places to turn either. You know what I'm saying?
Especially me. I'm not going to turn to
certain people.
I also think men just have it a little bit.
It's not in our culture as men
to do that.
I think that's a thing for you.
I'm a big 6'4".
Fighter, ex-fighter.
Big dick.
Veins in it.
There might be like his dick has veins in it you know there might be like
his dick has veins in it you know that much facts this is scary yeah you made about that but yeah
this is crazy for me right now yeah there's not yeah i don't have a ton of people to turn to
that were bullshitting in front of you like this but i think rogan's great rogan's great
but rogan's great but he's tough love i know but I think that's a lot of that has to do with a part of your own perception that you've taken on in society of like, I have to be this way.
But I would tell anyone, you're a big softie.
You're a very sensitive guy.
And it's like, I'm saying, sometimes you just got to lean into that.
I don't give a fuck.
Look, you have a vein in your dick, but we all have veins in our dicks.
And it might not be as dick, but we all have veins in our dicks. Not just on a stick.
And it might not be as visible, but it's there.
And you got to get to the root.
You got to get to the root of it.
Heavy on root.
Right?
The more you deal with it, the more you pay attention to it,
the bigger it gets.
Who did I talk to the other day?
Max.
Amini.
Amini?
The man.
And we always worked together.
You were the laugh actor. You're like Italian Max Amini. Yeah,. And we always worked together. You were the laugh actor.
You're like Italian Max Amini.
I know.
I know.
But me and him always do shows together.
But we'll talk briefly.
And then finally we sat down for like 30 minutes just to vibe on something.
He's like, I had no idea you were so nice, man.
You come in here and you do your thing.
He's like, you're so nice.
I was like, well, I don't talk to you.
I assume all you guys hate me.
He's like, no. He's like, and I was like, well, I don't talk to you. I assume all you guys hate me. He's like, no.
He's like, we all love you, man.
He's like, we just figure you're always busy, so you get out of it.
I'm like, no, I assume you hate me.
He's like, dude, you got to hang more.
What if we look back at this guy and he was in bed?
You all right, bro?
What's going on?
Yo, man, this is just a lot for me, dog.
Tell us.
Oh, yeah.
Talk about it.
Yo, man, Brandon.
Brandon, man, you, like I said, when I was going through stuff, Oh, yeah. Talk about it. I'm coming up and then I introduce my other brother to you. You know, he's actually met you a couple of times in Ontario.
He was a goofball.
He wore a couple of years ago.
He wore a suit to a comedy show.
I love it.
But it's just a lot for me because, you know, my brother recently passed and I didn't have I do music.
And I didn't have like breakthroughs with my own path in the entertainment industry.
Good for you being able to
Share, you know share my music with people who I've never even think I'd have a conversation with or even talk to people I've never had a conversation with and so this just you know
We're all it coming full circle me talking to the person who's had such an effect on my mental health
In a positive way to be able to talk to the all three y'all
you know I stay here in my room and watch the show my girlfriend and and smoke and shit and so to be able to talk to all three of y'all. You know, I sit here in my room and watch this shit with my girlfriend
and smoke and shit.
And so to be able to be a part instead of just watching,
I'm watching the podcast right now.
But here's the thing, brother.
I appreciate it.
I love all that.
I have my issue.
I'm not doing great either, brother.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
I have tough times too, man.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
So it's vice versa, man. You're helping him too know yeah yeah yeah so it's vice versa man you're
you're helping him too bro yeah it's vice versa when i do shows i get all that love there's a
reason i do stand-up yeah i need that love man because i'm not getting in other areas you know
so you're helping me just the same brother yeah we're i appreciate you dog i appreciate
all three of y'all nick chin man all y'all all y'all. Not them, but yeah, we're all with you.
I mean, Nick, you know.
Hey, where do you live, big dog?
The new guy.
I'm from Pomona, California, but I live in Ontario, California.
Ontario.
All right, man.
Well, anytime I'm doing shows, you can get to them.
Tickets on me, man.
Hey, man.
Me and Eric are at the Ice House. Me and Eric are at the Ice House
on Friday. If you can make it,
tickets on me. That's a little bit of a hike
for you, but that's the next show.
I'm pulling up.
You said that. I'm pulling up.
Give your name to Nick and I'll make sure
you have as many tickets as you need, man.
