What the fuck is going on in here?
Hit the space bar when real niggas walk in, man.
Mute the television.
Hit the under desk.
Yeah, hit the under desk.
We got to get into this guy, man.
Niggas get bigger kitchens and start bugging.
Start going crazy.
Thinking about the space bar?
Y'all know how it was when y'all got your first bigger kitchen, man.
Didn't tell niggas nothing.
Did change things a bit.
Parks walked me around the bigger kitchen the other day, man.
I was like, look at my guy swagged out.
He took us on a little tour.
Swag.
Collar greens.
Swaggy.
Swaggy, man.
He took me back to the yard.
We went downstairs to see the pod room, right?
We thought we were going to go in there.
Measurements, E was going to figure out where the cameras go.
Parks was like, oh, no, that's where we're going to pod.
But come to the backyard.
Let me show you the master suite.
No, we came here for the pod.
That was a problem line, by the way.
That you're absolutely correct about what you're saying.
Yeah, no, that's like, we'll pod or whatever right here.
He didn't give a fuck about podding.
Here's my six bedroom.
I think I'm going to use this as a gym.
How you feel about this, Park?
I don't care about your push-ups.
He got a baby crib down there, washer, dryer.
There's a pool table
down there.
He think this operation is just like,
I got a trick for him. I'm going to meet me an engineer.
That's what you got to do, man.
Meet me an engineer. I don't need
such pristine vocals on records

Don't start making up challenges.
I don't think.
Crying the screen challenge.
Your genius lies in other places too. Don't making no challenges. Crying the screen challenge. Your genius lies in other places too.
Don't create no challenges.
When Joe start making the challenges to get freaky time.

They just caught on.
They just caught on to that.
Come on, man.
Yay Ali, man.
Give me some smooth R&B
over slow down,
pump it up vibe.
Come on, slow something down.
That's what you need
for your silhouette challenge.
Come on, you know
you ain't going to kill it, too.
And all Joe's going to do
is take a Viagra on TikTok.
That's a challenge. That's TikTok. That's the challenge.
That's gross.
That's nasty.
Watch me pump it up.
Yeah, that's the challenge.
How quick could I get hard from the pill?
I was laughing in my head the other day.
When you take one of them pills and you turn into fucking Incredible Hulk or whoever you think you are on that pill,
the next morning when your dick get back to normal size,
you feel the pain of the stretch that wasn't.
Your dick got stretch marks?
I think there's a cream for that.
You know, you feel it.
Nah, I be putting shit on there.
What's the little shit you put when there's a cut?
Vaseline?
Neosporin?
You so hood.
I was just about to say mall. Do you hear malleline Neosporin you so hood I was just about to say more

or some Neosporin
or something that's gonna
cure that cut
don't just cover it up
with some fucking
thick ass cream
that's what Vaseline is for
diaper rash
nah I'm talking about
the little cut ointment shit
boxing
yeah Neosporin
I forgot yeah Neosporin that's Yeah, Neosporin you talking about.
Yeah, Neosporin, that's the one.
Neosporin.
You know you sick when you rubbing that on you and there's no cut nowhere.
There's not a cut nowhere in sight and you rubbing Neosporin on your shit.
Your dick smells like a new tattoo.
Yeah, man.
Advertisers, your product can go right after this conversation.
Get Neosporin to the bag.
Imagine your product placed here
whoa
through the roof
see why we didn't
sales are ringing off
see why we didn't
take the deal
think about the customers
you'll get
oh man
so anyway yeah
I'm smooth Joe today
I'm not doing all of that shit
that's okay
we was killing Parks
or something
the new clubhouse
alright so this is the last episode here, man.
Yeah.
Parks don't care.
Take a look around.
I do.
No, you don't.
No, you're excited.
Parks ain't excited.
He got to move all this shit.
You're going to piss on this rug tonight.
I'm sure of it.
Nah, I'm not pissing on the rug.
You got to tag up the wall.
It's spelled everything else on here.
You might as well piss on it.
Nah, that's kind of gross.
It's unsanitary.
You bringing the famous carpet?
No.
It's over?
It's over.
Damn, Joe.
This I know Parks ain't like a moving OG.
He took us on a little walk.
TVs wasn't up yet.
I don't expect the TVs to be up yet.
What?
That's the first thing I'm out.
I called the Verizon guy three weeks in advance.
TV got to be up because you got? That's the first thing I'm out. I called the Verizon guy three weeks in advance. TV got to be up
because you got to call
the cable guy in advance
and he got to give you
the window
and the TV has to be up
when he comes.
Yep.
So they force you
into putting a TV up first.
Yeah, but you just got
the keys when?
Last week?
Yeah.
He bullshitting.
Nah, it'll be ready
about two weeks later.
You can do a lot of shit
online now too, you know.
You can't put your TV up online.
And hook up all that cable shit online.
No way.
I don't have cable TV.
Oh yeah, but parts don't need cable.
I have just internet.
You don't need cable.
I forgot that this guy is a fucking Mormon.
No, you don't need cable.
I'm a Mormon.
All you need is Wi-Fi.
What's a Mormon?
Did I use that right?
No, you didn't.
You did that.
No.
You didn't.
What's a Mormon?
I think you were thinking Amish, which still would be wrong.
But Mormon is the one.
You're thinking a bunch of wives.
A menonite.
No, that's what I meant.
No, you get mad wives and shit.
Yeah, no, that's the picture.
That is the picture I'm thinking.
You live in Utah.
I think you was thinking Amish.
Yeah.
Or menonite.
Mennonite.
I think it's the one.
Oh, here we go.
That's right.
Yeah, I don't want to.
I don't mean to offend nobody. Hey, he does shit like that to rile upennonite. I think it's the one. Oh, here we go. That's right. Yeah, I don't want to mean to offend nobody.
Hey, he does shit like that
to rile up the Parks Hive.
He's so smart.
It just says really good stuff.
The Mimimates.
The Mimimates.
Okay.
I think it was the
Assyrian Jews you were
referring to.
The Mimimates.
Shut the fuck up, Parks.
I want to hear this shit
seven minutes. I'm starting this podcast. I want to hear this shit.
Seven minutes.
I'm starting this podcast.
I think you're referring to the Sagittarius.
Hey, Parks, I better stop adding me.
We love Parks.
The only one that makes sense.
Yeah.
All right, well, fucking go listen to some more podcasts now. Yeah, they so into it.
They sending me the percentages.
Parks, 85% right.
That's right.
Joe, 30%.
Shut the fuck up.
I don't care, fam.
I'm telling you this.
Now you see how I feel.
You know the type of thirsty text I'm waiting on replies for?
My phone buzzing every second.
I'm looking over.
Notification.
Damn.
Damn.
Thought I had something on the line.
Yo, them fucking notifications, man.
I only turn them
shit on for Clubhouse
I've never been a
notification guy
oh never
I turn
I don't have no notifications
I don't have
I never did that
I don't have none of that shit
I'm not a notification guy
and I judged people
for having notifications on
notifications are annoying
Clubhouse
Chitty Chatty House
made me cut it on
and now it's on
for mad other shit
so now
I be thinking
something on the line
when it ain't.
Yeah, no.
That's why I got two dogs.
And it really happens late at night.
So that's when you get hyped.
Like when you go to bed and think something hit you.
Like, oh shit, wait, I'm hot still?
Oh no.
No.
That happened to me.
I got the sports app notifications for the Yankees.
I thought something was hitting me at 2.30.
Brian Cashman just said, no, everything is cool.
I don't give a fuck what Brian Cashman is talking about at 2
in the morning. Yankees are four games back.
Get the fuck out of here with this shit. Don't alert me
of this bullshit. They don't hit me late
at night no more. I think my little I go to
sleep early shit line has finally backfired on
me. Yeah, but late to you is like 2.30. There's pros and cons
to that line. Yeah, for sure. For sure.
Me, I'm the late guy. I think the cons
are starting to catch up though now.
I think now the reputation
is out there
it's too late
did you go to sleep early
he'd sleep by 9
by 9
I think that's what they say
I think they put a little
sauce on it
but you get up at 5.36
so yeah
yeah but they ain't
really hitting you
at 5am
talking about
yeah
no no no
super drunk
where are you
I mean if you get
to LA girl
it's what
3am when you wake up
over there
she's in mid-litness
well now that's now that's the good thing about waking up early you have 8 Cheerios while texting If you get the LA girl, it's what, 3 a.m. when you wake up over there? She's in mid-litness.
Well, now that's the good thing about waking up early. You have to eat Cheerios while texting a peak drunk girl across the country.
That sounds awful.
You judge those messages just a little bit differently.
You're like, you're also drunk.
What's wrong with you?
Wait, I respond to these text messages?
Is that what you're doing when you catch that little golden overlap time eating Cheerios?
Oh, I judge, yeah.
I sit and judge.
I judge my ID story.
Those are judge hours.
Even the things I participate in, I'm like, ugh, you guys.
Wow, you should find Jesus.
Right.
I'd be glad when you catch your little L.A. hoe on the morning, wake up in New York.
She's still getting litty with it.
What?
Pulling my sham out now.
What? I was going ham out now. What?
I was going to have to do this without you.

It might be.
They don't count it.
They don't get me.

You gotta be a real DJ now.
Okay, all right.
Okay.
Nah, I want the button.
I want the button.
It was cool, but it wasn't a button.
Mic check, mic check, mic check.
Nah, they both songs about niggas that are hurt and have been done wrong and now are retaliating.
One is crooning.
One is, you know what I mean?
You heard how weak, man.
Let me let Wayne talk to you real quick.
Different stages in the heartbreak.
Mic check, mic check, mic check.
He ready to go back out to the club.
It's just different hours of the heartbreak.
That was the early morning one and now it's time to go out.
Tank is when you leave the club
and realize all the chicks
that you ran into aren't her.
Yeah, that's a fact.
That's a fact.
It could be that.
See, you can get into
that tank feeling at any time.
See, if I'm,
see, my favorite shit
is getting in my Wayne bag
like, oh,
how about to fuck
all these bitches?
We out tonight
and then getting there
and then getting in the tank bag
when you're surrounded
by the new chicks
That's what I'm saying
Like
I miss her
Once you realize
She's not there
And every girl you meet
Isn't her
Then you gotta get in the tank bag
That's in the morning
At the counter
Yeah
You sipping coffee
Or something
You realize
Damn
I'm lonely
Yeah
That Wayne shit
When you head out to the club
If you take the beat away
I feel like Wayne
Is always in that tank bag
It's true I agree with you Listen to the acapella I take the beat away, I feel like Wayne is always in that tank bag. It's true.
I agree with you.
Listen to the acapella.
I agree with that take.
Listen, I'm going to play this Wayne record.
You know this Wayne verse.
You know he about to go crazy because he cleared his throat before the verse paused.
But I lost when I played this in our Ross versus whoever that was.
You did Ross versus Wayne?
I was Ross.
It was Ross versus 50.
Oh.
Okay.
Who was that against?
Who was 50?
And where is Ross and 50 in this song?
That's why you lost.
Ross is on this song.
It's Drake and Wayne.
Ross is on this record.
Is it the remix?
I have a version with Rick Ross on it.
He's the last verse. I thought She version with Rick Ross on it. I did.
Maybe I'm.
He's the last verse.
I thought She Will was just Drake and Wayne.
No.
Ross is the last verse.
Okay.
Forgive me.
Oh, you're not.
You're not a hipster anymore.
I think I'm correct, but it's cool.
You may have lost on a technicality.
Is there no version of this record with Rick Ross on it?
I've never heard of it.
Maybe he did a freestyle.
Yeah, I'm sure maybe Ross hopped on it on his own.
All right, now y'all pissing me off.
Let me go find it.
It's not an official remix.
Let me go find it.
Okay, there is the She Will remix featuring Drake and Rick Ross.
There you go.
So we are both correct.
Oh, okay.
Got it.
It shouldn't have lost to whatever it lost to.
Who was 50, though?
Who was you battling?
I don't know. I don't remember right now. Oh. I don't remember right now, but it just shouldn't have lost To whatever it lost to Who was 50 though? Like who was you battling? I don't know
I don't remember right now
Oh
I don't remember right now
But it just shouldn't have lost
It just shouldn't have lost
I tell her
Knock out and pop that pussy
For a real nigga
I already know that life is deep
But I still dig her
Niggas is jealous
But really I could tell less
I'm in hell's kitchen
With an apron and a headnet
Devil on my shoulder The Lord is my witness So on my Libra scale I'm in hell's kitchen with an apron and a head net Devil on my shoulder, the Lord is my witness
So on my Libra scale, I'm weighing sins and forgiveness
What goes around comes around like a hula hoop
Karma is a bitch, well just make sure that bitch is beautiful
Life on the edge, I'm dangling my feet
I tried to pay attention, but attention paid me
Haters can't see me, nosebleed seats
And today I went shopping and talking still cheap
I rock to the beat of my drum set I been at the top for a while and I ain't
jumped yet But I'm Ray Charles to the bullshit
And I jump up on that dick and do a full split

This gotta be, what, 10 years old?
Yeah, yeah, definitely
Yeah, cause this was my sin city days

One day, y'all just let these drops go and then just commence to amazing conversation that you guys are having.
It's cool.
It's good background music.
Yeah, that's all it is.
They know the drop.
They know the vibe.
We call that the audio bed in the business.
The audio bed.
You ain't miss me?
Yes, Rory.
I missed you, man.
Or did you see me yesterday
and we recorded?
Y'all was...
We had a fun little Thursday.
We had a great Thursday.
How do we know that Maul
would be the first one
to miss a Thursday?
I didn't want to put y'all in danger of anything.
No, no, we got that part.
No, we appreciate it.
No, no, we got that part.
We just telling you that on the bet board and the employee break room, what shit they have.
Buy the water jug.
Yeah, whatever they have.
Whatever our break room is.
The dart board.
Yeah, we all had it on you.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, that's all.
What was the payout?
Huh?
What was the payout?
Oh, the odds were so staggered that we won no money. Yeah. Oh, okay. Yeah, that's all. What was the payout? Huh? What was the payout? Oh, the odds were so staggered that we won no money.
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
No money at all.
No one opposed.
No one bet the other way.
Oh, okay.
But glad that you're safe and sound.
How you doing, man?
I'm good, man.
Oh, I got to intro this thing.

And healthy
Yes absolutely
Continuing your best dress trend
We will continue to watch this As the season progresses Yo I Glad that you're in good spirits and healthy. Yes, absolutely. Continuing your best dress trend.
We will continue to watch this as the season progresses.
Maul, you're such that guy.
When someone gives you a compliment, you look down at the kicks.
Really?
Or I just threw this together?
Look down at the yellow kicks, the yellow hoodie.
Like, what you talking about?
Sweats and sneakers, bro. No, you raised what we were talking about.
So you knew.
I mean, just sweats and sweating sneakers I don't see that
oh I didn't even realize
you got sweats on and sneakers the same shit
it's not yellow
the laces don't match the laces
oh okay
they tried to show me a close up of Zion
sneakers the other day like them shits was fire
nobody's ever bought them
I'm like why are they showing me a close up
of the Air Zion?
Steph went platinum
with his shit
and I still ain't seen
a pair in person ever.
Nobody's buying it.
You think they bought
all Steph's albums?
The label bought
all the albums?
Wait, who's Zion's
shoot-through?
Jordan.
Oh.
It's better than
the Under Armour.
Nobody's buying them
they're Jordans
they'll probably sell a couple
people are still playing ball
in just regular retro Jordans
that's it
anyone that buys the team Jordans
that came out now
nevermind I forget it
it still stumps me
how they play ball
in the low tops now
why?
you've never tried a pivot
in a low top?
It's difficult.
Fuck the bagels up.
Soccer players playing sneakers lower than that,
and they pivot more than basketball players.
Oh, my God.
Yo, Mo really is.
Soccer players can travel the entire time.
You really are the hood sports Bill Nye.
Why you say that?
We didn't know you were a scientist, and it blew our minds.
No, but that was the whole reason they started the whole reason if you think about soccer players that was the whole reason that
nike started making low basketball sneakers because they were saying that it doesn't it
doesn't really do nothing for your ankles like that was just what people thought i saw that too
in the doc yeah i saw it so it doesn't it makes all the sense though i mean if i'm watching on tv
when i when i get out there in a low top,
I don't understand how they do that.
I definitely played ball in some soccer shoes before
and did not feel like I was going to make it.
No.
Last time we followed, I did it in running sneakers
and thought I broke both my ankles when I left.
Yeah.
Give me the mids or the highs, please.
I didn't finish introducing you guys.
Parks is here.
Hey. Rory's here. Hey, man finish introducing you guys. Parks is here. Hey.
Rory's here.
Hey, man.
Edwin is here.
Corey is here.
Savon is here.
And Alex is here.
And hopefully everybody as well, right?
Yes.
And our 3,500 million employees are back that are working hard to make this podcast the best it can be.
Stacks.
Yes.
I want to shout out to the greatest app in the world.
Man, let me tell you something about Cash App.
Please.
It's crazy because I love that app too.
Same.
First of all.
So funny you bring it up.
Shout out to our favorite app in the world,
the app that supports us, enables us, empowers us,
tolerates us, and puts up with us, Cash App.
Shout out to you guys.
Now, boy, do they catch great breaks.
Like some of this stuff you just can't plan out
as a company unless you're on reddit unless you're on reddit yeah but for cash you have to be one of
the only places where you can get shit shaken because the government has shut everybody down
like you're not saying that in the company marketing meeting
I'm not gonna hold you
I made a couple dollars
I can't wait till Wall Street
crashes
I made a couple dollars
with Cash App
jumping in this stock game
I finally did it
I'm glad
good
congratulations
Cash App is helpful
in that game
yeah it is
it's right there
yeah
so shout out to Cash App
and if you want to
secretly send money
it's good for that too
to relatives of course that are in need and don't want the rest of the family to find out about it.
I knew what you were saying.
Where's y'all head at?
How y'all feeling, though?
Great.
And that don't work when you say it, either.
Because, like, yo, nah, my cousin needed a couple dollars.
They'd be mad when you gave your family some money, too, that was in need.
Furious.
Like, that don't just make it go over well.
That's true. That's it. Ugh, the nerve of you to take care of your mom um what are what are we starting with what are we starting with what happened first of all rest in peace cicely tyson
absolutely yes we start there and john cheney and john cheney has that been confirmed yeah it has yeah yeah i don't know why you know 2021 is starting out with just
as much death as 2020 and i'm not i'm not feeling the same way even though our greats and our legends
are being taken from us early on like i wonder if last year hardened hardened us at all i'm sure
absolutely for sure there's a lot of trouble with last year hardened us at all. I'm sure. Absolutely.
For sure it did.
There's a lot of trouble with last year.
I was listening to last week's podcast, and even when we said, rest in peace, Larry King, it was just like, I listened to it and was shocked because it's Larry King.
You know, he devoted his whole life to what he did, and most of us grew up with him.
Absolutely.
But then he passed.
It was like, we we just so used to passing
hey that's larry king right bob ross is gone like they took some of them dudes yeah they're not they
ain't just coming for the chumps yeah well yeah 2020 was just so full of death within your own
local community period that i just don't think you thought off rip with
older celebrities.
I think we've just been
conditioned that way after 2020.
It's too much death personally around us
to be like, oh, that sucks.
And then you kind of move on.
Isn't right, but it just kind of is what it is now.
Cicely Tyson, pioneering
Hollywood icon, dies at 96.
What a... What a life. It is now. Cicely Tyson, pioneering Hollywood icon, dies at 96.
What a life.
What a life.
She's seen it.
Pretty much seen it all.
Yeah, I think I saw 1924.
I think I saw she was born, if that math adds up.
If you think about what's happened from 1924 to 2021, the life you lived and what you saw.
You saw a lot of shit.
I won't even go back that far.
It's from 2010 to 2020.
Right.
What you saw and what you've experienced.
I just can't imagine six decades of anything.
Six decades at something.
Yeah.
Seven decades at something.
Jesus.
Now add nine and a half right 96 actually actually speaking of larry king because they said uh i think his wife came out now and said how he how he uh
transitioned it wasn't covid but it was some uh let me read it so i'm not fucking uh fucking this up but it was a lung infection basically
oh okay and she was saying just how you know his body had taken so much he beat the covet
but his body had taken so much that this infection that we weren't really thinking about was uh what
ended up being fatal shit uh but she was talking about how at the end he was ready to go yeah he was
ready to go like your body just takes so much like you'd be like all right i've i've done my
time here especially when you've had such a long beautiful life right yeah like larry king cicely
tyson john chaney even yeah oh man how old was junk uh lar King? He was 80s, right?
80-something, I think.
Close to the 90s, for sure.
87.
Wow.
That's a good life.
And when did he leave CNN?
Sort of recently.
Fairly recently, yeah.
I would say probably the last decade.
You know, on one hand, I understand when we hear the number 87 or 96
and we say, long, beautiful life.
Listen, put me on record.
If I can get 87 out of this thing,
woo, man, oh my God, that would be beautiful.
But on the flip side of that, boy, life happens fast.
And I can imagine 80 coming at the drop of a dime.
Oh, yeah.
And it goes faster the older you get.
You know what I'm saying?
Your teens felt like they were forever, and then the 20s went a long time.
30s plowed through.
You'll learn that pretty soon.
Oh, no.
31's coming, and I can't believe it.
My stupid ass, like, I get so mad internally now when somebody be like
yo the day's flying by time's flying and even when i say it i get mad because like it is relax
like we don't don't remind me of how fast time is just zooming by here buddy like shit we about
to be in spring yeah yeah think about it don't feel like it today but yeah about to be i'm built i'm built for this shut
up pansy i want to hear from you pansies it's cold it is it is oh it's always 20 degrees outside
so so bitter out there shut up because i was taking the train after i lost my first car to a
horrible engine accident.
That was like 10 years ago.
I was just on the train in the cold all the time having to dress for that.
Y'all have been in cars chilling and have a nerve to talk to me about the fucking cold.
I haven't.
My shit is a long walk to that train.
I had to wear a hoodie and got right in my mozzie today.
It's still cold.
I'm in the car.
And then I get out and I get into my destination.
I don't have to walk to the train, sit on the train.
We can take it a little different.
The whites, though.
Either way,
if you have a car,
I don't want to hear
any of your talk
about complaining about the cold.
If you're on public transportation,
I'm with you.
Complain all you want.
Get some long johns.
Lift your eyes with those.
The whites be out in the cold
with just shorts on
and shit like that.
Well, you know,
we like to show our ankles.
White ankles. Is that what it is? Yeah, try to show our curves. It's a source of pride for that. Well, you know, we like to show our ankles. White ankles.
Is that what it is?
Yeah, try to show our curves.
It's a source of pride for us.
Yeah, I get it.
Oh, yeah,
and this is my man that passed.
This is nuts.
NBA reporter and analyst
Sakai Smith.
Sekou.
Sekou Smith dies of COVID-19.
Yeah.
48.
And he was young.
Yeah, he was young.
Very young. NBA reporter and analyst for more than two decades has died from COVID-19. Yeah. 48. And he was young. Yeah, he was young. Very young.
NBA reporter and analyst for more than two decades has died from COVID-19.
He was 48.
Smith worked for NBA TV and wrote for NBA.com since 2009.
Ay, ja.
Rest in peace.
Rest in peace to everybody we lost since the last podcast.
Yeah, it's crazy.
Too many people, unfortunately.
You going to do outstanding this early in the show?
Yeah, why not? I'll say a fun funny moment with larry king you know when cnn tried to get like a little more trendy and try to like bring on rappers and r&b singers and
like more of you know the people larry king would never talk to because it's just not his generation
go back and watch those interviews.
They're some of the
funniest things.
Larry King sitting there
going, well,
tell me about
Get Rich or Die Tryin'.
It's the funniest
interviews ever.
Didn't Larry King
do the Chris Brown
bow tie episode?
Yes, he did.
Yeah, once they made
Larry King sit down
with the youth.
Look what y'all
remembering the God for.
Didn't he do the Chris Brown bow tie episode?
That bow tie episode was a classic.
True indeed.
This is early for outstanding, but we need it.
Let's do it.
Yeah.
Nah, speed me up. Speed me up a little bit. Yeah, there we go. Yeah, you know what I mean? Be by the early bird Wish that I could love you back
In a special way
You light my mind
I'd be alive
With you in my arms Woo! No, Parks. Oh. Never mind. YouTube with a... Let me hear you.
Woo.
No, Parks.
Oh.
Never mind.
Third time on YouTube.
Yeah, me too.
All right.
There.
Shout out to the YouTube community.
Shout out to our first and last time listeners.
30 minutes sending you intro, and that's how you do a fucking pod.
But we're here now.
Gentlemen, where would you like to begin?
Music?
Mo came in and said, tell me what music dropped, because I don't even know what be dropping
no more, because I be so busy.
I thought Party snuck one out on us.
He just repackaged records that were out already.
Well, this was the Colors series, which was mixtapes that was on SoundCloud, and now it's
on DSPs, which I'm happy that it could get on DSPs,
and if that's a way for him to get paid off that music,
I'm with it all the way,
but stop making this seem like it's a new release
anytime somebody does this.
They promote it like,
yo, Party just dropped some shit.
And then I get really excited,
and then I go, oh, this is from five years ago.
I've become the read the captions guy now
because I want to see if it's got that in there.
Then they tricked me with a new cover.
Yeah, I definitely went right over the re-release.
And the cover's amazing.
I'm like, oh, Party Bout.
I know he's dissing every girl he ever fucked in 2020 on this one.
And then it's...
Girl from Oakland.
And then it's low battery,
which I love,
but hey. Nah,
all of these joints is hard,
but it's like,
damn,
man.
Colors one and two is that shit,
but I'm cool,
man.
I thought it was the new vibes.
What do you got,
Joe?
Wasn't feeling the re-release?
He wasn't,
wasn't feeling Roman,
uh,
Reloaded Part 7?
This is Nicky's fault, by the way.
Why you say that?
I'm doing nothing but uplifting my black brothers this year.
Oh, that's fake.
Wait, wait.
That's fake.
We not doing that in 2021.
Wait, we not uplifting our black brothers?
No, you not.
I'm not?
I am.
No, you're not.
I am, honestly.
I am.
No, you're not. No, I am. Cut it not? Yes, I am. No, you're not. I am, honestly, I am. No, you're not.
No, I am, more.
Cut it out.
I don't know what you're going through today,
but talk to me next week.
Or tomorrow.
Yeah.
I'm telling y'all what I'm on.
Or later in the pod.
I'm telling y'all what New Joe is on.
I'm uplifting my black brothers today.
Listen.
New year, new you?
Because honestly, man,
like, party, man.
And before we get to party,
it's just, like, i'm seeing a lot of uh
like what we're in 2021 now so the 21 year olds now were born in like 2000 right that's math and
some of the 15 year olds have wi-fi out there for sure like you go through something where the kids
get reintroduced to you and like i've gone through this thing where I've kind of feel like I've rebranded myself
like every other year in my career.
So now that I'm at the end of the road exhausted
and I see the kids saying shit like,
yo, I'm hating everything today.
I'm in my Joe buddy.
It's becoming like a slang.
Yeah.
Well, I mean, the Migos.
And I don't like it.
Yeah, the Migos made that.
I'm not grump.
No, I love what they did.
That was a great hook. They did. Yeah, the Migos made that. I'm not grump. No, I love what they did. That was a great hook.
They did.
Yeah, but that song was how many years ago?
A couple.
No, more than that.
You think I had a lasting impression like that?
For sure.
I think people just really think that I'm a hater.
And I don't think I'm a hater at all.
I just think shit be trash.
I wonder what's even the impression.
This party re-release.
Yo, I go there, right?
I go there.
And I don't care if he don't speak to me.
He don't speak now nigga
Fucking
I go there
And I'm impressed
Cause it's the
It's the way that
I just bigged up Division
For doing his re-release
I mean his deluxe
Where it's the four
This is not deluxe
Well whatever it was
No no no
It was four songs at the top
Division was a deluxe
This is a re-release
This is
No this is taking
A repackage
This is taking records
From two mixtapes Colors one and two And putting them in an eight I guess the best a deluxe this is a re-release no this is taking a repackage this is taking records from two mix
tapes colors one and two and putting them in an eight i guess the best but i didn't know that when
i got there so i'm just giving you my experience i just saw party next door i saw party i saw colors
which i which i knew had dropped so i click it and the first four it's segmented so i'm thinking
that and then it's a second four and i'm like all right one of these four is segmented. So I'm thinking that, and then it's a second four.
And I'm like, all right,
one of these four is new.
They weren't.
Has to be that one of these four
segmented shits is new.
It wasn't.
No.
I like the 80 picked out of the two.
Oh, please.
All of these joints is,
oh, shit.
No, it ain't.
You don't like these records?
And that's my other,
let me get back to my wall.
No, it only took you two minutes. And that's my problem. And that, bless you. You don't like these records? And that's my other... Let me get back to my... No, it only took you two minutes.
And that's my problem.
And that's...
Bless you.
You don't like these records?
And that's my...
I like Let's Get Married.
I like Girl From Oakland.
I like Just Know.
Don't Worry, I'm Cool.
Peace of Mind is my shit.
Yeah, I like most of this.
You know what he talks about.
This is a great...
I know you like Freakin' You. I like most of this. I know you love La Bata. I know you love Freakin' You. You know what he talks about. This is a great thing. I know you like freaking you.
I like most of this.
I know you love Lobatter.
I know you love freaking you.
You know what happened, y'all?
I do like most of this.
But what happened was I got in the shower on two songs I loved.
And when that one song came on that I thought was super trash,
I hurried out that shower so fast.
Soapy ass and all, nigga.
You're not going to play this shit in my ear
and I'm going to just
clean myself.
No.
One of them shits
was not shower music.
I'm just going to clean myself.
You can't bathe to something
that's not your wave.
Yeah, that's how I felt
when Frank Ocean Forrest Gump
came on.
You're so stupid.
You're an idiot.
I thought I took it out
of my library.
You can watch to that.
Who?
You.
No, I can't.
Mo, that joke was funny
years ago.
It's not funny anymore.
Why?
I just don't like the record.
How about that part?
I laughed when you said it
No, I just don't like
that record, that's all.
It's not for me, that's all.
No, I'm with you.
Just skip that one.
It's the Keyinson, right?
Yeah.
The Key.
Yo, can I tell y'all that ever since the last podcast,
I've been having a blast listening to Jimmy Snacks explain himself.
Listen, listen, listen.
No, no, buddy.
There is no explaining that.
No.
There is no explaining that.
Wait, what did he come up with?
We're not doing that.
No, he said the money got him going crazy.
No, he came up with mad different lines.
None of them shit was working.
No, give us a couple.
Well, one was like Mo just said.
What did he say that in the text?
At two milli.
I don't believe he got two million to fucking fiddle with dick.
I don't believe.
How do you fiddle with dick?
You just do this?
You're not getting two mil to smack some shit out like that.
I don't believe that he got two million dollars to do that.
But cool.
Get your shit off.
Then he started giving them the joints of, some of y'all, I paid y'all rent when you
didn't have it.
No, we not doing that.
I see what he doing.
Some of y'all was down to your last, and I looked out.
Your lights is on because of this dildo.
Yeah, he got into all of that.
And I was like, but Jimmy.
But that's not the point.
That's not what we're talking about here.
Then he said, some of y'all ain't even see.
Because I wasn't stuck in a joint.
No, of course not.
It was just around me.
And I said, but Jimmy.
You shouldn't be around those guys.
But Jimmy, that's worse.
You just got dick around your head.
You might as well commit.
Why you just got dick around your face?
What's that shit when the plane is about to land and it got to hover around for a little bit?
It's a word.
There's a word for that.
That's what dick just doing around your head? Hovering. Hovering for a little bit. It's a word. There's a word for that. That's what dick just doing around your head?
Hovering, yeah.
Hovering?
Yeah.
Descend to the dick, Jim.
Yeah, man.
He wild out.
So y'all not taking the two mil?
The holding pattern.
Is that what it is?
Something like that.
Y'all not taking the two mil to bat the dilly around?
We're not doing that on this podcast.
We're not broaching that conversation.
Just ask him. This is not that. Jimmy brought that question up. I was just wondering if y'all answered it. Bro, we're not doing that on this podcast. We're not broaching that conversation. I'm just asking.
This is not that.
Jimmy brought that question up.
I was just wondering
if y'all answered it.
No, we didn't.
Ain't nobody jacking that
what he talking about.
No, he was jacking it.
Good shot.
That's a good shot.
Fiddling
is what he said.
It was in his vicinity.
People's right with the dick money.
Hey, I'll tell you one thing.
Look at the nigga.
Look at the nigga in the captions.
He'll stop ca money. Hey, I'll tell you one thing. Look at the nigga. It worked. Look at the nigga in the captions. Stop capping.
Listen, he was in the headlines all week.
I mean, depending on where you can see the headline from.
He was out there.
It worked.
Hey, whatever.
Define worked.
I'm about to tell you.
Whatever his thought process was going into hovering dick.
Oh, this will make a splash.
He succeeded.
I think he got his shit off.
I think his subscriptions went up.
Okay.
Fair.
But see, listen, if you-
Now you're hating.
No, no, listen.
Hey, CEO's mind.
Now Morgan playing with him.
Listen, all jokes aside, if you're gay, that's fine.
Nobody cares about that.
I think the problem here is when dudes, they play, they straddle the fence.
And it's like, now you're saying that.
You're just teeing it up there.
I'm just saying.
This guy, man.
No, because it's not about him being gay or not.
People don't care about that.
Listen to your adjectives.
You portraying a lifestyle like you're a straight heterosexual guy.
And then this comes out. And now you're saying like, like nah because i've seen he said he's not gay like he said that he was like i'm not gay and i'm just like but you were engaging in a
homosexual act he's not gay he has gay sex yeah but that's that's what people are like that's why
people are like well what are you talking about Like stop lying Stop capping
Like if you're gay
Just say you're gay
Nobody cares about those
With those things
But you don't get on here
And try to make it seem like
Yo get off my dick
Y'all hating
Y'all this that that
Like come on cut it out
Cut it out
And that's the only thing
Only thing I had a problem with
Is like if you're gay
Just be gay
This is just hilarious to me
I don't care what your preference is
I just think this is funny
Yeah like nobody cares
What nobody's preference is.
But when you're playing these games
and making it seem like people that watch the tape.
I think this should be studied.
How do you go from I'm in the closet
to I'm on OnlyFans?
Sucking dick.
Yo, we need to study
how you go from one extreme to the other so he can help the other closeted.
His game is protected by a paywall.
Stop lying.
There you go.
Game is protected by a paywall.
Is this Patreon?
No.
No.
All right, bro.
Listen, we support Jimmy Snacks.
I do.
Of course.
No, I do not.
Snacks.
I don't support this shit.
If he says, yes, I'm gay, then it's like, okay, salute.
But don't play these games.
Like, don't play games.
That's all I'm saying.
He's playing games.
All right.
Anyway.
But listen to you.
But wait, why he got to tell you he's straight?
Why he got to tell me shit?
But what I'm saying is if he is gay, he got to tell me.
Don't play games with me.
No, no.
But he's going on live.
Stop teasing me, Jimmy.
No, no, no, no, no.
He's going on live talking all this bullshit. Like, he's going on live. Stop teasing me, Jimmy. No, no, no, no, no. He's going on live talking all this bullshit.
Like, he's going on live talking all this bullshit.
Like, that's the part that's like, yo, shut the fuck up.
But we've seen enough to know what we need to know, right?
Absolutely.
So it don't make us no different by any means.
It don't make me no different either way.
If you're saying I like girls every day for the rest of his life, I'm going to say.
Exactly. But there was that thing.
He could like both. Did anyone interview the young lady that was moaning
while she was getting head
with a strap on on? I would like to hear from her
and what caused the moan.
That's a good question.
No one found that hilarious?
Jimmy didn't address that in his
live?
Forget it. How do you know that that that is a good question no one found that hilarious Jimmy didn't address that in his live forget it it's just weird shit
how do you know
that that was a strap on
it looked like
it looked
did she have a purple dick
damn you had the color
concentrated
you showed it to me
you weirdo
yeah but I
it's on camera
you said yo peep this
yo
yo Rory's
fucking strap radar is ill.
Listen, man, my preference is my preference.
Now what?
Now what?
I thought the vid was a little blurry.
Yeah, it wasn't 4K.
Yeah, I didn't think it was 4K.
Rory said, hey, that purple strap on that he...
Okay, maybe I subscribed and got the HD on the paywall.
Now what?
Okay.
If that's what you like to see.
Yo, Rory seemed like, in our podcast movie, he's leaving the pod to go see his dominatrix
chick to get tied up in one of these Astoria houses and degraded.
Who needs a movie?
Let's do the doc.
Let's do the reality show.
What are y'all talking about?
Get the candle chains.
Yeah, Jimmy Schmacks, he could cool out though Alright
His 15 minutes is up
Alright, come on man
We back with Rory's hit of the week
Hey, y'all remember Casey Kasem?
Well, we've got Rory
Rory Kasem
Casey got 40, Rory's got 1
And here it is
Rest in peace Casey Kasem
That was my guy Wait, wait a minute Casey Kasem. Casey got 40. Rory's got one. And here it is. Rest in peace, Casey Kasem.
That was my guy.
Wait.
Wait a minute.
Casey Kasem is gone?
Years ago, right?
Yeah, that's been a while.
I hope I didn't just kill him.
No, no, you're right. He's been dead for a long time.
He is gone.
He is gone.
But that's the point.
Yeah, Casey was out there.
They didn't take nobody chump.
No.
Left us with these clout-chasing humans.
Oh, man. They're everywhere. Oh, my God. Can't escape them. All right. Rory's pick of the week. Nah Left us with these Cloud chasing humans Oh man
They're everywhere
Oh my god
Can't escape them
Alright Rory's pick of the week
This is my pick of the week
Because
We're gonna argue
Oh no
We are definitely gonna argue
And I'm gonna
And I'm gonna lead with the argument
Before I even give y'all a snippet
This podcast
You guys
You guys
You guys let
Every single record
that we loved growing up
or didn't love growing up
that was a hit record
get remade
and all y'all go
that's the greatest thing
I've ever heard in my life.
And then Meek does it.
I just need y'all
to have the same energy.
Don't do that.
What the hell?
Yo, he hype with the aux.
He want to come right in with that fire?
That's what we just said we were going to do.
Oh.
Yeah, that's what we talked about.
Oh, no.
Now you want to get with the structure of things.
I've always been about the structure.
All right, so Rory's got a hot take.
He's got a hot track.
Not so much a hot take.
Just I want y'all to keep the same energy
that you guys have continued to keep
when people have taken huge records
that we all have loved, or not loved,
just huge records,
throw some bass behind it.
Now you're adding little caveats.
And you guys have hyped them up
like they were the greatest piece of original music
you guys have ever heard in your life.
So I just want everyone to keep the same energy when Congo comes out.
Hey, when you give the young kids a line that they like.
And now keep the same energy.
I'm dancing.
Salsa.
I'm on a cruise with my family. YouTube, trust me, you're good.
Pretty cool.
Now this is a thing.
Trust me.
Trust me, you're fine, YouTube.
Okay.
All right, Rory.
That was me, Bill, Leslie Grace, Boy Wonder, Congo.
So now what are you saying we need to keep the same energy about?
I think you especially need to say this is the greatest song you ever heard.
I know it doesn't have Hitmaker tag in front of it, so you may not.
But it is a remake of a song and you love any time
someone remakes a song.
That's not true.
I don't love any time
someone remakes a song.
I like when a song is bad.
We just had an R&B battle
and you played 20 songs of remakes.
And won.
You won by one point.
And won.
He left that part off, right?
You won by the Brady Tuck movie.
He left that part right off. You won by the Brady Tuck one He left that part right off You won by the Brady Tuck one
He know everything I played
But forgot I won
It's crazy
You won by one point
Awesome bullshit
But it was a win
Nonetheless
It was Brady Tuck one
Rory I don't know
You weren't outside
When this original was out
But we weren't jamming to it
Well this
It was a hit
This surpassed time
It didn't matter
When you were outside when it came out.
This has been playing forever.
I know, but maybe when it went into syndication, y'all started jamming to it.
Look at your industry words.
Maybe y'all started jamming to it.
This was always in syndication.
USA picked it up.
This is Gloria Estevan, right?
I believe so.
Sorry, buddy.
I'm sorry, buddy.
You can't just slap Boy Wonder and Meek on Gloria Estevan and I'm jamming out.
But now, keep in mind, this wasn't made for me.
It wasn't made for me.
They didn't get together and say, oh, Joe's going to vibe to this.
No, Joe, you've definitely got off a plane at St. Thomas in the airport
when they put the shit over your head and give you the rum and dance with it.
Yeah.
They lay you?
Yeah.
Yeah, this ain't it though.
Nah.
Who was that young lady?
Leslie Grace?
I'm not too familiar.
I'm not familiar with her.
I'm not hip.
She's a new Rita Ora must be.
Don't do that.
She looks like Rita Ora.
She does.
I wasn't trying to be funny. She looks like her. But it was funny. And Rita like Rita Ora. She does. I wasn't trying to be funny.
She looks like her.
But it was funny.
And Rita Ora looks great.
Of course.
Looks like an expensive video.
Oh, yeah.
They had a budget.
Oh, no.
There's some money behind this sample, this video, the people involved.
You never seen a baddie with the low-budget vid?
Yeah, I don't know about all that.
Give it to me.
Give me one.
I'm not going to tell you my low-budget baddies.
Keep toasting your pocket.
I don't think we've ever seen one.
That's not true.
Like a music video?
Yeah.
I mean, they put a budget behind
when they found out
she was a hype.
Which, tell me.
Somebody tell me up here.
She's from the Bronx.
Okay.
Love it now. Matter of fact, I still don't like it. I don't like it for me. Record of me over here. She's from the Bronx. Okay. Love it now.
Matter of fact,
I still don't like it.
I don't like it for me.
Record of the year contender.
No, I don't like this record for Meek.
I mean, it's a classic song, obviously,
but I don't like this record for me.
Yeah, if Meek has to cross over,
I don't like it in this.
Not to say his verse wasn't bad,
I don't like Meek in this crossover.
But hasn't Meek crossed over already?
Yes he has
Meek has crossed over
I don't like him in this crossover
And if you've already crossed over
Then I'm going to give you a little Gloria Estefan
It's not affecting my fan base
It's not affecting my albums
The music that I make
Probably when he did this shit
It was like yo man
I don't even think it's ever hit in the US
Like I don't know what they said
That might be true
I don't know what they said
But I don't think he made this for us I don't think he made this for us.
I don't think he did at all.
Mika's going to make money off this shit for sure.
But it's not even about the money.
This is just too off-brand for Mika.
This is not him.
Boy Wonder's looking for records right there in the video.
He's digging through the crazy for this one.
He's finding samples.
He's keeping the hip-hop.
He found the Gloria Estefan sample.
This ain't for Mika, though.
And they put all the TikTok challenges around her.
Yeah, this had some money and a plan behind it.
Rory's TikTok page would go crazy if you did one.
Who said it's not in the works?
That's the rollout?
You TikTok him?
No.
When Rory do the fake aggressive punch at the camera and then drive the car.
Oh, man. Is that a thing? Wait, I already do that anyways. That's a thing? when Rory do the fake aggressive punch at the camera and then drive the car oh man
is that a thing
wait I already do that
anyways
that's a thing
no they stole your swag then
word
it's called
it's called Irish Road Rage
who else put music out

No, no, I'm letting you get God.
I'm on my iTunes store.
Looking up information.
Look it up.
You don't know him because he's never remade.
never remade.
Anyways,
Brent Fayoz and DJ Dahi,
Tyler,
the creator,
put out a record
called Gravity
that's really,
really dope.
Oh yeah?
I didn't hear that.
A little taste
of what Joe
tries to find
and shit.
Give me a little
taste of what
Dahi's doing.
Still don't like
Brent?
Yeah.
Still don't like
Brent? Whoever said that? You, that's hard. I get you what you want But you want me to know
Baby, I'm acting
Who ever said that?
You, that's all.
I don't want you waiting for that
Who said that?
Why would I ask you that?
You said that.
I don't want you waiting too long
Even when I try to be cool,
y'all bring up my old wild takes.
This was like last week.
Y'all are crazy. Last time you put a record on me. Yo're crazy live on your take no you you bring
i want each of you to live and die on your take i do don't live on joe take no but you can change
your mind about liking artists but because that's not what i said that's exactly it's not what i
said you said it politely though you didn't say it disrespectfully you're just like you don't like him you don't like that he sings but all right don't you ever
repeat nothing i've said you said though no it's not okay we got into an advanced music conversation
about voices and tones and textures and i said that i am not the fondest of his doesn't take
away from his song making ability or what i think i am and i said all of am not the fondest of his. Doesn't take away from his song making ability
or what I think of him.
I said all of this amazing shit.
I didn't just say,
yo, I don't fuck with him.
That's not what we said either.
Yes.
I was saying in a respectful way,
you saying really like his music.
You ain't just say his tone.
You said his music too.
It's cool though.
It don't matter.
Whatever.
Everything ain't for everybody.
It's okay to not be a fan.
Who y'all don't like?
Did y'all find somebody yet?
That we don't like.
Did y'all find one person yet that y'all don't like?
This is a weird narrative that you always roll with.
Did y'all find somebody yet that you may not like the greatest?
Yeah.
What the fuck?
I like the artists that you love that I don't really like.
And you love them.
Who?
What's the singer dude name that you love?
I don't really like him.
I love all the singer dudes.
I was going to say, that doesn't really... What's the artist name? I love all R&B dudes. What's the R&B dude? Oh, Caldeon. Yeah, I don't really like him. I love all R&B dudes. I was going to say that doesn't really...
I love all R&B dudes.
Oh, Caldeon. Yeah, I don't really like Caldeon.
Yes, you do. Say it to his face. He was at our show.
Look at the name he gave me.
I would say to his face.
I think he's a cool dude,
but I don't like his music like that.
But who's running around saying,
yo, he's up next.
I said that you love him.
You're asking somebody that I don't like. I't i love him yeah but i'm just giving you somebody i don't
like i don't mind saying i don't like somebody's music and it's nothing wrong with that but you
just you did say you didn't like brent and i'm just asking because i he talks about the shit
that i think that you would fuck with which is surprising to me we had that talk too where i
said i love the content i don't like being misrepresented
by y'all damn it who'd like being misrepresented by me that's what you said i like to misrepresent
myself fair enough are you done giving them a taste no when brent remakes uh frankie beverly
amazed before i let go i'm sure you'll love them um oh you mean like y'all did for the beyonce
remake hey where i was the only one saying hey
there's a remake that maybe shouldn't i don't know and you said shut up i'm in the beehive
like what are you talking about and metro yeah i'm something i'm sick of these narratives rory
ran around with a whole trumpet so he ran around with a whole trumpet talking about before i let
go he went back to the colleges. Yeah, I did the bunny hop
or whatever she was saying in there.
Act like Joe just pumped up
all the remakes.
I didn't pump that record up.
I just kept it to myself
and listened to the original.
I got you, Silver.
And didn't bunny hop.
The legend in the building,
J and Silver crept in black mass.
Never know when he's shooting.
Never know when he's shooting, huh? Damn, we need Silver to break down those NFT things, never know when he's shooting. Ninja mode. Never know when he's shooting, huh?
Damn, we need Silver to break down those NFT things or whatever, too, at some point.
Oh, thank you, Scream Man.
Pull that back up.
Pink Sweats and Kehlani put out a record today that's really good.
Had no idea.
At my worst remix.
It's on your DSPs now.
Go check that one out.
KCK some hope.
Yo, respectfully, nobody cares about none of the music that came out.
Let me just come out and say it. Enough of this. I don't think nobody cares about none of the music that came out. Let me just come out
and say it. Enough of this. I don't think nobody
in the world really cares about music right now.
There's not much
blockbuster-y music.
So you're right.
The one-offs, just the songs,
the one records, I don't
think people really paid too much
attention. But full-length projects, I think
people still... We've been talking about music for about 30 minutes now we call ourselves a music podcast so
you got to do it sometimes and look at the conversation you're getting a new pink sweats
new fucking droog re-released party well that's what's up i'm surprised nobody cares it's a
pandemic and niggas is taking all their money and going to get rich i'm surprised that uh i thought
this year would be different, being that everybody's locked
in the house.
I thought, you know, January, February is usually very quiet as far as music releases.
I thought this year would be different, but here we are.
And that's why I'm not mad at Party re-releasing that shit.
Because nobody cares about music right now.
I might go back and repurpose my whole catalog until people care about music again.
It's just too much shit going on in the world
right this second that's valid all week has been stock talk yeah everybody's a stockbroker
just it's the trend i mean it's the same thing that happens online anytime there's a
a case there everyone's a lawyer anytime there's something with health everyone's a doctor
anytime there's food everyone's a dietician it's twitter just they're the village people and today they're stockbrokers yeah they
just put on new costumes every day and we'll see yeah but i find 11 they were firefighters but i
find value in that i find value and when the information trickles down to the people that
aren't supposed to understand none of the shit so now we in the game i agree with you it's like uh-oh let me go dig around they tried to put a stop to that real
quick now just two weeks ago maybe three weeks ago i sat here and asked pump was that two weeks
ago it's last week i said pump what happens when the government says y'all are getting too much money yeah you did how do
they regulate it i said hey man it seemed like they would do something about that because they
don't really want us getting money no and he said some amazing answer but he said that, yeah, that might happen, I think.
And here we are, not even two weeks later,
and I had to go learn what Robin Hood was.
Silva, do you know what Robin Hood is?
Of course you do.
Because you've been telling me about this stuff for years.
Yeah.
So, oh, here we go.
Bets against GameStop stock, followed by a campaign.
Well, now, before we even get to this, what happened?
What happened?
Niggas started eating.
The story I got at first, and this seems to be about right, the story I got was that on Reddit, there were these groups with millions of people, and they were picking out the stocks that were apparently shorted or some shit like that.
The stocks that these big hedge funds were betting against.
Yeah.
Correct.
And the stocks that were supposed to just never win, and they were pulling their money together, and ta-da, raising the value of the stock. Which GameStop makes sense, because you can fucking download video games on your own shit now.
So going to a store and buying a video game is not a stock that I think people would want to invest in.
Yeah.
Wait, say that one more time.
You can just download,
for the most part,
video games to your console.
So GameStop is a store
that you would literally go
and buy the video game
with a disc
or however it goes
and put it into your game console.
That doesn't exist.
This is kind of a blockbuster
type shit.
Like no one's going out
to get their movies
and rent them
or buy them.
Right.
So GameStop is the video game.
They're the blockbuster GameStop.
Everyone would bet against that stock.
Like, obviously.
Not even a conversation.
And the same with AMC.
Yes.
Especially in this time.
No one's going to the movies.
Niggas just found a loophole, that's it.
And the government didn't like that shit.
It wasn't a loophole. It was the rules. Rules have loopholes too. No, but it and the government didn't like that shit it wasn't really it wasn't a loophole it was the rules yeah and that's when no but it was a straight up loop it's not a loophole it's
the rules that are supposed to be in favor of the rich working against them so nah we got to make a
rule and that's why joe never fuck with rules because rules is just man-made from somebody
having a problem with some shit right so there are loopholes and rules i'm saying i won't even call it a loophole because it was such a you do this
in such an important conversation i'm just saying it's not they're making a rule more yeah that's
what happens when you find a loophole they readjust the rule so what's the loophole define look can
you bring up the definition loophole screen man yeah i think a loophole is something you really
gotta like find
in the fine print
something that
people didn't bank on
this is a straight up rule
loophole
or loophole
yeah it's been something
that's been happening
for a long time right
short
okay
loophole
is an ambiguity
oh I think we got a
or an inadequacy
I think we got action here
well let's keep talking
so they
inadequacy in a system let's keep talking.
Inadequacy in a system such as a, oh, well, I guess by that point, maybe he's right.
Yeah, Maul's right there.
Listen, man. I just feel like a loophole is something in the fine print.
This is not in the fine print.
This is just something we're taught not to know about, if that makes any sense.
It's not an oxymoron.
We're taught not to know this.
No, no no no we're saying the same thing because according to them accord according to them
there is no inadequacy in the rule the inadequacy is do all these poor people getting money so we
have to stop it at our own so mall is right that would be a loophole from the richies the richies
so i'd like to welcome i would like to welcome a good a good brother to the show.
His name is Rashad from the Earn Your Leisure Network.
I had the pleasure of going out to dinner with him and his compadres the other night.
And he said something that I thought was prolific. First of all, welcome.
Thank you for having me brother Roy Moore pleasure
Joey uh you're a gentleman and a scholar my brother listen listen man uh I wanted to call you
because there's madness occurring and frankly I don't have the range I have no idea what's going
on but you said something that I thought that I was prolific, and I don't want to butcher this quote.
You said, we're witnessing the greatest exchange or the greatest disparity in the exchange of currency that we've ever seen or something like that.
Do you recall the quote I'm talking about?
Yeah, I think it was the greatest wealth transfer.
And then I also said that there's not going to be any middle class
like we talked about that so talk about when we got to dinner right yes yeah it's crazy you say
that because we just interviewed master p yesterday and he said in 2022 it's going to be either you
rich or you poor and that was kind of the sentiment of what we was talking about on that on the um
the dinner because i'm like i've never seen in the middle of a pandemic where the vast majority
of people are struggling but the people that's getting money exorbitant,
like it's, it's, it's going in this direction.
So when you see the first time that I,
that the bandemic thing made sense to me, to be honest,
I always thought that was like a slap in the face when niggas were saying it
because everybody is so fucked up out here.
But the point of that is no,
that's an illusion and people are getting up right
now a lot changing their lives a lot of my friends multi-million dollars made five million dollars
during the pandemic six million dollars on the pin i'm seeing it firsthand so either you either
you had the best year ever or you had the worst year ever that's it can can you explain that can you explain to our audience uh
uh who you are what your network represents and why you're qualified to have this conversation
so they don't think i'm just calling my homeboy so uh my name is the shop allow earn your leisure
we probably have like the top business podcasts in the game right now,
but we grew it bigger than just a podcast. We have Market Mondays, which is a stock show.
We have EYL University, which is an online educational portal. I'm a financial advisor
by trade. I still actually am licensed to be a financial advisor. So what we have grown
is a community online. And it's a variety of different topics that we talk about from real estate to
stocks to trucking, entrepreneurship, investing. So I was telling you the financial literacy
space in our culture right now is growing at a rapid pace. I've never seen this many people
interested in investing and entrepreneurship. So that's what we are, Ernie Alicia. And yeah,
I'm one of the co-founders of
it so what's going on out here what what are the reddit people doing what are the laws that they're
coming up with to stop this what should i be investing in what the fuck is dodge coin tell me
tell me all of it yeah so i mean the reddit situation is interesting right because it's
this group called wall street vets on reddit so first we got to go to Andrew Left. This is how it all
started with the GameStop situation. So Andrew Left, he's the head of this Centron Research.
So Centron Research, they publish public reports and they've been doing this for years. So what he
does is that he'll pick a company, right? And then he'll find faults in the company, bad leadership, mismanagement of money, whatever. He publishes
public reports for the company, pretty much like saying a company's bad and they're mismanaging
the money. It's not being run properly. So obviously the guy is a very influential person,
right? It's a public report. So by him doing that,
the stock price goes down most of the time. So what he does is he short, he shorts those
positions. And when you, a lot of times people only think you can make money when the stock goes
up, right? Cause that's what we, that's like the easiest thing to think about. You buy a stock,
it goes up, you make money, but you can also make money when the stock goes down by shorting,
by shorting the stock or putting puts on it. So by doing that, you're pretty much putting
a bet that the stock price is going to go
down. So if the stock price goes down,
you make money. So obviously by him
putting out these public reports,
he drives the stock price down.
But he has a vested interest
because he has puts and he has
short position on it. So he's
been doing this for a long time and it's never really
been like a real issue.
That seems like
an issue, but okay.
Politics as usual.
Exactly.
Got it. Continue, please.
Yeah, so there's this group
on Reddit called WallStreetBets.
So there's over 2.5 million people, right?
They deep.
It's a community of investors.
And I guess a lot of them was gamers.
And a lot of them had a vested interest in GameStop.
GameStop is an interesting company because it's not relevant.
Nobody goes to GameStop on a regular basis like here and there, but it's not like a booming business.
They're not going to be profitable estimated for another two years.
So their stock price shouldn't go up.
But the Wall Street debts community, they got sick and tired of, I guess, you know, these influential people just kind of manipulating the market for the invested interest.
So what they did was they decided that they was going to piling into the stock.
Right. And then by piling into the stock,
they actually make the stock price go up.
So what happens is now you have what's called a short squeeze.
So the short price could be like,
all right,
like let's say it's January 29th right now.
Right.
And I got a short position for February 10th.
So that means that I need the stock to go down.
I only got a 10 day window.
It's a very short period of time.
So if the stock goes up, I'm losing money. So eventually I'm going to get squeezed out of the position. I'm going stock to go down. I only got a 10 day window. It's a very short period of time. So if the stock goes up,
I'm losing money.
So eventually I'm going to get
squeezed out of the position.
I'm going to have to sell.
So that's what they did with this guy.
And they short squeezed him.
And by that,
like the stock price
started to go up crazy.
So then when the stock price
is going up 50%, 60% naturally,
people that never even heard
of Wall Street bets,
they like, I can get rich doing this. even heard of Wall Street Bets, they're like,
I can get rich doing this. So now it becomes a day where it's like, this is kind of an
unprecedented situation. Like in April, the stock price was $2. A couple of days ago, it was $483.
That's an 18,693% rate of return. So if you were if you were to invest in ten thousand dollars in April, you
would have one point eight million dollars
today in ten months.
But you wouldn't have it.
So now it's great. So now
it's crazy. So it's like, well,
hold up. Hold up.
More has a question. But nobody
nobody got paid from that stock because they
they they deaded it. Right. Some people
got paid. Some people didn't. That's that's part of the issue debted it right some people got paid some people did and that's that's part of the issue right there so some people got paid um it was dependent on when
you tried to sell it because they stopped trading on it they they shut the stock down for a little
bit like it's a return you got ja Rule talking about hold the line like it's like Game of Thrones
like so now there's a whole community of people like, don't sell, don't sell, hold the line.
They're calling it hold the line.
Think of it, it's like tug of war.
So yesterday, the stock price was down, I think it was down $283.
Today, the stock went up $131.
So it's like a tug of war.
A lot of people's pulling the money out.
More people's pulling the money in.
Because that's what upsets me about stock.
I be home mad at the rest of the idiots in the world.
I'm just like, yo, man, just keep it there.
Just keep it there so we all good.
That's what they said.
Hold the line.
Hold the line.
Don't bend.
Don't break.
Hold the line.
Yeah, but I guess everybody's not in that position to hold the line.
And if you made 1,000%, you don't really care.
You don't even know these two million people.
Yeah, I don't care.
You know, 100%.
I'm with you.
But now listen, so they went from GameStop.
GameStop was first.
How did we get to AMC?
AMC was next.
AMC's next.
I want to talk about Dogecoin too because you talked about that.
Please, yes.
So the Dogecoin situation is interesting
because it's like
you see what happened
with GameStop
and Robinhood
has a class action
lawsuit against them now
because they stopped
buying or selling
for GameStop
for like half a day.
They halted the stock
for a while.
I'm telling you,
TD,
TD,
I couldn't even log
into my app yesterday.
Like it was crap.. They crashed the app.
Obviously, Wall Street is regulated.
Stocks are regulated. What's not
regulated is crypto.
They said, all right, y'all playing this
game. The next thing we're going to do
is we just move into crypto.
With the Dogecoin, Dogecoin actually started
as a joke. It's easy.
This is what... As most things.
Seriously?
Crypto, yeah.
It started as a joke years ago.
And now, yesterday it was up 800% on Thursday.
So the thing with crypto is that we saw this,
because I was in crypto years ago,
and they have what's called pump and dumps, right?
So a pump and dump is like,
let's say i got a bunch
of money me and my friends got a bunch of money we can pile into like a what they call like a
in the stock world it'd be a penny stock or like stocks that's very easy to manipulate so not a
lot of volume dodge coin is a penny stock it's the equivalent of it got it so so it's easy to
move it right but previously so what would happen with these pumping dumps a couple of years ago and it still kind of happens today.
It's like you get in, but you didn't tell anybody. So perception looks like, OK, I see this coin going up 400 percent.
This is making money. Let me get in. But then by the time you get in, everybody sell The big people that already made the money, they sell it.
And that goes down.
That's why it's called a pump and dump.
What we're seeing now is a unique moment in history because previously pump and dumps
was secret.
Like me, you, a bunch of your rich friends would get together and we would have a secret
society to pump up these stocks or pump up these cryptos.
And the general public is not aware of who's actually buying it.
It just looks like this is
going up. It's a gravy train. And then
it's like, all right, we're all going to sell it. But now
they aren't ready and it's public knowledge.
So it's not really even a pump and dump now
because it's like they literally tell you
all right, Tuesday,
11 a.m., we're all going to buy
Dogecoin. We're going to drive it up to the moon.
We're all going to make money. So it's crazy.
It's like, I don't know how this is going to play out because at some point this is david beating goliath
yeah and i love when the creatives win i gotta tell you i and i know that i know that we're not
allowed to win in america the first time i heard something like this rashad was a few years ago i
was in los angeles right and I was at 7-Eleven
and I was trying to get an Uber and there were 50 Ubers on the corner and it wasn't a main street.
So the surge price was through the roof. And when I finally got an Uber, he explained it to me. He
said, yo, man, we having all these issues with the way they paying us. A bunch of us got together
and we're going to sit right here and shoot up the price so we all get paid more uber eventually
stopped that but i thought it was genius is this like um aligned with that like akin to that at all
yes you know what joe is it's the power of numbers and it's like the power power to the people right
like that's that's a catchy phrase but it's true. People always have more power.
Like even if you look at it related to politics, the Arab Spring, when all of those dictators went down, that's because millions of people came into the street.
These people didn't really have power individually, but collectively, they got a lot of power.
So it's the same thing we're seeing with the stock market and in crypto right now.
It's like individual investors, they might have 5,000, 10,000.
That's not real money. But if 2 million people come together and even more so than the money is the power of the
internet. So now the 2 million can ripple into 20 million because now it's like, okay,
it's on Twitter, it's on Instagram. So these big institutions that have been controlling the
market, the stock market is controlled by institution and hedge funds. So now they're
getting nervous because it's like, they are the ones that are supposed to control the market.
Not what we call we call retail investors.
It's institutional investors and retail investors.
Retail investors are regular people like myself.
If you want to bet like just regular people, institutions are the ones that control it.
So when the retail investors start controlling over the institutions, now the institutions lose power. So it's crazy to see. And it's like, this is a teachable moment
on so many different levels because it's like, what would happen if 2 million black people came
together and said, we're going to move the market every single week. Think about how much wealth
would be created if 500%. All right,
this week we're going to make this stock go up 500%. We're going to make this crypto coin go up
500%. Put your money in on Tuesday, Friday, dah, dah, dah. First of all, they probably
find a way to shut it down completely overnight. Overnight, but it just goes to show this power
in numbers and these people is making real money 800% in one day
Like that's crazy
Listen Rashad
Two of my favorite movies
Are Boiler Room
And Wolf of Wall Street
Boiler Room underrated
I don't trust
I don't trust stocks
I think that every
Fucking stock market
Is just a big ass warehouse
With phones
Just how it was in Boiler Room
I think people
Just stealing your fucking money
I don't trust none of this shit
What do you say to somebody
like myself?
What do you trust?
What do I trust?
What do you trust?
My mattress.
Okay.
That's it.
That's the only thing
you trust with me, right?
That's it.
He's saying to put money in it.
Not the banks.
That's it.
Jesus.
This is what I'm telling you.
Most of the time,
somebody might say,
I trust my wife. I trust might say, I trust my wife.
I trust my mom.
I trust my kid, whatever, right?
This is about having emotional intelligence.
We don't have an emotional attachment to any of this.
I don't love crypto.
I don't love stocks.
I don't love real estate.
I play the game intelligently to make money.
I think people have the misconception because they attach their emotion and they put hope
and they put belief.
This is what I was telling Joe the other day about corporate.
We don't care about corporate.
We don't care about nothing.
We care about our families and whatever we're going through to make money.
We don't have no emotional attachments to anything.
We understand.
We see this game being played and we're going to manipulate it.
Why would I not participate in the stock market when billions of dollars are being made every single day?
In the middle of a global pandemic, Elon Musk made $80 billion from stock because Tesla stocks
skyrocketed. I'm going to let him just get all the money and me not play a part. The proof is in the
play. We don't have to reinvent the wheel. At this point, we shouldn't have to actually
coach people on why it needs to be invested. We're seeing it. The reason why the top 1%
got more wealth in the global pandemic than the last
decade is because of the stock market. The stock market crashed in April and hit an all-time high
eight months later. The majority of those people's money came from stocks. So we still caught up in
the, like, I don't believe it. I don't believe it, but it's nothing to believe. I don't believe that i don't believe it but it's nothing to believe i don't have to believe
that that the sun shines i could visually see it if i if i can't visually see it i'm blind so i say
to people that still have hang-ups about stock markets because they're probably not properly
educated they use that on purpose they they keep you uneducated on purpose so obviously when it
comes to money if you don't feel confident
doing something, you're going to say, that's not for me. They tell you that all the time. Like,
don't worry about that. That's over your head. That's complicated. That's for those people.
Who's those people? This just shows you this Reddit situation just shows you this is for
everybody. Regular everyday people is making a bunch of money in the stock market. Now this
is an extreme situation. I'm not saying like you should put all your money in these types of situations, but I'm just saying, I'm glad this
happened because there's people I never thought in a million years would be interested in stock.
I see on Instagram, like, yo, I'm getting red. This stock market is becoming a frenzy.
At the very least, it's opening people and it's showing them this is nothing to be scared of.
But my whole thing is everybody doesn't like to make money. Me personally, I like to make money when I sleep.
I don't want to work for money. We understand that we can only work for so long. You're never
going to work your way to become rich. You got to have passive income. You got to have your money
work for you. If your money's not working for you, it's not doing anything. So for me personally,
there's no other alternative to have my money invested. If not, what am I doing?
All right. So that sounds amazing. But with that top 1% that has controlled everything,
do you see them regulating what happened with GameStop if they're not already doing that?
And my second question is, when everyone goes to crypto, do you see them trying to regulate that
as well? They're going to always try to regulate everything.
I mean, this goes back to the Roman Empire.
Governments control currency.
Governments have more power than even the richest people in the world.
That's why when you see Jack Ma, who's the richest person in China, he's talking about the government.
He went missing for three months.
You can't just like, you know what I'm saying?
Like, this is the game that we play.
But what we have to do is learn the game and adapt. We adapt. That's what we do.
Black people we've been adapting for 400 years. We adapt.
They find something, they cut it down. We, I mean, it's like, it's like,
it's not going to be a straight, a straight shot. So we can't,
me personally to answer your question yet,
it's going to be definitely some regular, some regulations,
but I don't care about that. I can't control that.
I can only control what I know. So when they come out with new regulations, we'll adapt and we'll continue to make money.
One thing, this is the thing, back to Maul's question. How do I convince people that they
don't make it, they didn't make investments not to make money. Like when the first person had the
idea to make investments, stocks or real estate, the whole point of an investment is that investments
go up over the course of time. Nope, they don't make investments for it not to make money. So of course, in the
short term, it might go down or if you pick a bad investment, but the overall, this is about
an overall stock market. If you look at the chart has gone up for a hundred years, it's dips in
between, but it has gone up. They don't design these things not to make money. They design these
things to make money. So design these things to make money.
So I say that to say,
there's never going to be a situation where-
Yeah, but we're not supposed to get the money.
That's what I'm saying with the regulations.
When you find these ways
where the people can actually make the bread,
i.e. GameStop, AMC,
and they make a regulation,
how do we anticipate those type of loopholes?
The people's not the only one making money.
You think that a billionaire didn't play the game too?
No, I know the people that are running the game are making the money.
I'm saying when the people finally figure out the rules and do shit like we did with GameStop,
how does that continue when they're the ones making the regulations
anytime somebody figures out how to make money for the people
rather than the people making the rules?
You got to get to the bottom early if you want some punch.
Like I said, there's going to be regulations put in place, but that's all hypothetical.
We don't know because they got to figure out how they can actually regulate it.
This is a new situation with the internet.
It never really had something like social media and the stock market combined.
So they're trying to figure it out on the go as well. But I say
that to say, there's always
going to be opportunity to make money. No matter
what. No matter how much regulation
because Democrats, Republicans,
the common theme is money.
Money. Money is the common
theme. So
people's not going to, they're not going to
get to the point where they're going
to sacrifice making
money.
And like I said,
this GameStop situation,
yeah,
a lot of small investors made money,
but a lot of big investors made money too on it,
on the upside or on the downside.
Give me the next one that the subreddit wall,
wall street guys are doing.
Hey,
did they text,
did they text you?
Do you know?
No, we just got to? Do you know? No?
We just got a guest.
Nokia.
Nokia Blackberry.
I saw Blackberry was the one that was happening.
I saw Nokia Blackberry floating around.
Yeah, a lot of people are hype about that one.
No, I want the next one that's going to be hype.
Let's go look at an old show.
How do you find the next one that's going to be
hot? You join the group. It's public.
It's a public forum. This is so crazy.
This is what I'm saying.
If I didn't join Reddit for the nudes,
then I'm...
People are like, yo, you
show somebody a million dollars and they're like, how do I get a million
dollars? I just showed
it to you. It's in the group.
It's for a money. It's for a water. You're so right. And I still have not it's in the group it's part one
and I still have not
gone to follow the group
what an idiot right
Rashad let me ask you another question
who did you vote for
who did I vote for
yeah
you said who did I vote for
I voted for Joe Biden,
but I'm not political, so I don't want to,
that's not an endorsement. I just felt
like, you know, morally,
I just couldn't, I couldn't vote for Donald Trump,
but I'm not like a huge Joe Biden supporter,
but I, you know, I was at the voting booth,
I brought my son with me, and I contemplated
voting for Kanye West,
but I just thought that it wasn't the most
responsible thing in that moment. So I voted
for Joe Biden. I'm back to the crypto.
So Elon Musk really
made my morning.
Boy, did he. What a guy.
I wish I could just... Oh yeah, you got
that Bitcoin. I wish I could just text
him things to tweet.
Now you see me at dinner
and some people have seen me.
I opened that app by mistake and damn near had an anxiety attack at how much money I was losing.
Yo, I never wanted to see that again.
I don't understand how y'all deal with that.
Right.
But Elon Musk saved the day.
I'm up and I stuck.
What the fuck?
Talk about it.
You know, I'm gonna be honest with you, bro.
Make him tweet, dodge.
Whatever this shit is.
This is a crazy time.
It's a dangerous time, and it's an interesting time.
When you got somebody like Elon Musk,
all he did was put Bitcoin in his bio on Twitter.
It went up 20%.
Like you guys, like what Kanye say, no one man should have all that power.
Like, yo, you got people that can literally move the market with their thumbs.
It's crazy.
In either direction that they want.
And he did the same with Dodge Point.
And it's like, I mean, it's cool, but we got to look at like, is it really that cool? Is it really that cool for one person just to be able to move billions of
dollars,
but just a couple of characters on Twitter?
No,
it's not.
But boy,
am I appreciative that it exists.
And,
and you could also say,
I feel like the one percent has been quietly doing that behind the scenes.
It's nice to see the person that actually is doing it with a fucking picture
on Abby. Right. Yeah. the person that actually is doing it with a fucking picture on Avi.
Now I know who's doing it.
Yo, Bitcoin
sucks. Sell Bitcoin. And Bitcoin
crashed 30%.
Wait, repeat that because you froze up.
You froze up, so repeat what you were saying.
Do you hear me? Yeah.
I say, everybody's happy when it
works in your favor. But elon would have went on twitter
and said yo sell bitcoin bitcoin's trash and bitcoin drops 20 now you're gonna be mad no i
would have driven to mars i would have found this only that at least we know who's doing it
at least i have a face who is really driving the stock because the one percent has been doing it
quietly behind a fucking curtain forever.
So yeah, I'd like to know who's doing it.
I feel you.
I feel you.
So, all right.
Do y'all have any more questions?
I'm cool.
I think I have a good understanding
of what's going on.
So no kid Blackberry?
Yeah.
Don't go out there. Y'all got a lot of listeners, man. I don't go out there
y'all got a lot of listeners
I don't want to tell people
that's the FBI come looking for me
thank you
please tell us where they can find you
because this is against the law to do that
right
y'all trying to get me jammed up
I'm definitely not trying to
and you already hanging with Master P
the feds might be watching y'all
That's like asking where the plug is yeah, I'm cool
Rashad I want to thank you for taking your time to educate us appreciate talk to us
You want to plug your network and your podcast?
I didn't tell you about that clause we have where any podcaster that's on air here is just signed to the Joe button Network
about that clause we have where any podcaster
that's on air here
is just signed to
the Joe Budden Network.
But we'll get to that later.
Plug your shit, please.
Tell people where to find you.
Now, first and foremost,
thank you for having me, man.
Like I told you at dinner, man,
you're an important person.
Y'all are an important team.
And y'all really playing a part
in shifting the culture.
So shout out to y'all, man.
Keep going.
Earn Your Leisure
is our Instagram handle,
our Twitter,
our podcast,
YouTube, all of that.
And then we have Market Mondays.
So we talk about stocks.
That's our stock show.
Shout out to Ian, our partner with that.
And that's every Monday at 8 o'clock on YouTube.
And it's also a podcast as well.
So, yep, that's all information, brother.
Rashad, thank you so much.
Listen, you don't have a hoodie on and a big coat.
I got to give a shout out to EYL.
You preach independence.
I love what you're doing with Joe Button Network.
So we got EYL Network.
We got three to five podcasts coming in the next two months.
Shout out to Dave Slant, Secret Sucker.
Shout out to Ash Katz, Inside the Vault.
So the conversation that we had was extremely powerful. We're never think we're not thinking that's just the regular podcast.
We think it has a network.
So as you say,
we are on the same page with that.
And whenever you ready,
we got to have that conversation on our platform because I would think you
get enough credit for being like a Dame dash figure where it's not,
it's lonely.
If you are the only one or one of the only people actually
forging that way of independence when everybody else is going the other direction. So I appreciate,
I appreciate and I respect the entrepreneur side. And I understand that it's not easy and
you're forging away and you're giving a blueprint that other people can follow. And that's extremely
important. Rashad, thank you. I'm humbled.
I appreciate it.
And whenever you extend the invite,
I'm there.
All right, brother.
Thank you.
Enjoy Miami.
All right, bro.
My man.
Peace.
And what the fuck is up with Method Man?
That's not what we're coming off of.
That's what you want to come in off of?
Off of that?
I just want to know what he was smoking.
He tell us about all these.
What's strand?
Rashad come in telling us about how all these poor people
are coming up on money and black people getting money.
We come in talking about what meth is doing.
Yeah, no, we have Rashad.
Meth ain't doing nothing.
Shout out to Rashad.
Thank you.
Thank you for educating us.
And meth.
I'm not.
See, I hate you like that. I'm not see I hate shit like that
I'm not talking about Mef
because Wendy said some shit
I know the history
but don't do that
if this was anybody else
you would talk about it
no I wouldn't
because I think
that's fucked up
and I don't like that
you think she's lying
no I don't think she's lying
but I don't like that
20 years later
you can say some shit
and now you ruined
that man's day.
That's when it's the best.
But don't do that.
You lose a lot of content.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But that's what it's like.
You beat a lot 20 years ago
that you might not beat today.
Yeah, agreed.
And it's some of that shit
that you managed to keep
in secrecy.
Like you bodied that.
Yeah, but.
Now 20 years later you won't wake up. Yeah, but we saw. No, come on. I love Wendy. Like, you bodied that. Now, 20 years later, you want to wake up?
Yeah, but we saw it.
I love Wendy, but I'm not doing it.
This is not because Method Man got niggas to punch me
in my face either. It's not because of that.
I just don't.
I personally am triggered
by shit like that, because maybe from my past
that happened. I fucked you 10
years ago. You shouldn't be able
to talk about me no more. Method Man ain't supposed to be hitting that. There's a statue of limitations on when I beat. I'm not laughing. I fucked you 10 years ago. You shouldn't be able to talk about me no more.
Method Man is supposed
to be hitting that.
There's a statute of limitations
on when I beat.
That's all I'm saying.
I'm not saying that this happened either,
but I don't think Wendy
should ever say Method Man's name,
period, off this.
Oh, I agree.
What they have with the gossip
she spilled about his family
and that shit.
Wendy, shut the fuck up
about Method Man.
But that's what she does.
She's a gossip queen.
Oh, see, I forgot that.
Like, you have no fucking,
you have the nerve
to talk about Method Man, period.
She's made a career off gossip.
I understand that.
So this is not out of bounds for her?
No way.
I'm not talking about with her.
I don't think it's out of bounds.
Talking about with the moral compass of anybody after you know her history.
The moral compass of Wendy Williams?
I'm talking about my moral compass.
Yes.
I'm just laughing at Method Man.
I want to know what he was smoking.
You don't think niggas would beat Wendy Williams at any point
In Wendy Williams' career?
No, niggas would
Method Man should not
Well, Method Man
Yeah, I understand what you're saying
And especially 20 years ago
When he was a super fire
Yeah, but if nobody found out
Come on, see, that's not right
Nah
That's not right
I do all that I can
To make sure nobody found out
I fucked a girl I shouldn't have fucked
Nah, nah, nah
And now because she woke up
On the wrong side of the bed
25 years later
Bad chicks been throwing pussy At meth for years, especially 20 years ago.
Who's to say he didn't?
And allegedly, I'm not.
I don't even, let's not even make this a Method Man Wendy conversation.
Let's just say the bodies that we've taken to the grave.
I'm not talking about them.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm not talking about Method Man Wendy.
I have said on this podcast, I got bodies I've taken to the grave.
If they decide to talk 15 years later, I'm pissed.
Niggas fucked the ugly girl just to kill time till the fine girl came.
Like, you act like niggas ain't did that before.
I've never been as hot as Method Man.
We can move on.
Is that why you wore yellow today?
Move on.
We can leave it at that.
Am I in the Matrix?
Yeah.
I think I'm in the Matrix sometimes.
We are.
And another one of those moments happened
Over the week
Where a bunch of fans
Hit me to tell me that Azalea Banks
Was back at it
Dragging my name through the mud
What?
I missed that one
Well luckily for you guys
I have it
Here it is
Where do you get off saying that Ari Lennox looks like an auntie when you're a whole ass dad?
You're a whole ass dad and you're not even daddy with a Newport lip and that fucking menthol soot all over your fucking face, my nigga.
You're not even giving dad beats. You're a dad giving real deadbeat with it how is that dad gonna say that somebody looks like a
fucking auntie i'm a fucking auntie i got nieces and nephews what the fuck is wrong like what
yo in 2021 joe budden you're to stop abusing black women. Really.
You're going to stop abusing black women and caping little like meet-a-meet-a-ass bitches that you paid $200 to sniff your fucking
mental breath in Miami.
Nigga, stop talking about bitches that you could never.
I never bought an escort in Miami, Azalea.
Allegedly.
But wait, when did you call Ari a auntie?
I get the free work in my...
Are you kidding me?
Are you shitting me?
Pro bono?
You know my body?
Getting the pussy pro bono is hilarious.
What the fuck are you talking about?
What the fuck are you talking about, Azalea?
Now, what did you say, Mom?
When did you call Ari a auntie, though?
I did, but I mean...
But she calls herself that.
She's been recently saying she's giving auntie vibes it wasn't a diss but listen to this
i'm just trying to understand what it's but listen to this enough of that enough who cares let's say
i called everybody auntie it's not abuse okay that's not an abusive statement i agree I'm sorry Azalea especially if R refers to herself as even if she didn't
auntie is not
abusive
you sensitive niggas
gotta go in 2021
but I got my cool
she don't want to
let me not yell
that's number one
number two
either I'm off
Azalea
once you air fry
the dead cat
you are eliminated
from
saying bad things about you are eliminated from saying
bad things about
you are out of the oh shit
talk about him
awards you
are religion shaming or spiritual
shaming
I'm sorry
I'm sorry nobody
told your little talented
ass that after you air fried dead cats on the internet, you got to shut the fuck up.
You don't know what you threw in the ninja.
You have to shut the fuck up now.
That's what's missing in society.
People don't know when to shut the fuck up.
don't know when to shut the fuck up and if you don't
know it after you air fry
a dead cat
on the internet
then when will they know
what did she fry it she put it
in a stove what did she do
she put it in a hookah
that's what it's
part of religion man
listen it is you
have to shut the fuck up now.
Game over.
I think in 2022, we should have her on the podcast.
That cat move was you checking out the game of talking about people.
I'm mad you think that's what the checkout was.
I did.
For what?
I did.
Listen, Marla's right.
Wendy Williams made her name off the gossip shit and all of that shit.
Like, you got to respect certain shit like that.
Who's more nuts than me?
I respect adverse ways to getting where you have to go.
I tried to hire this girl.
On to the next person I want to talk to, because it's not Roy.
Ack.
Oh, my God.
I reply to some of the shit i see so when i see him saying something to me that don't
make no sense i gotta address it you can have a blast because the narrative is starting that i
was angry or whatever i said last podcast about the chatty house that i was angry about what
happened okay so i'm just going to take the time to say i'm not mad. I'm not angry at any of that that happened.
You are angry, by the way.
Rashad was just on here saying that all black people have ever had to do was adjust, acquiesce, and adapt to things.
That's a fact.
So if the chatty house comes and they don't want uh in a second round of funding and investments to black
people and i don't know that because they might have but to maybe more black people and they don't
want to do that a third time and a fourth time and that's their business it's their business
we can rant rave scream protest march up and down the street what i choose to do
is find another company that wants to fuck with niggas. The end.
Like, they're not the end all, be all.
So I know that everybody's up ranting and raving
because of what they were evaluated at.
But I was having those conversations months ago.
Like, I came to my own conclusion.
Y'all should too.
Do whatever y'all want to do on socials
But Joe is not angry
At Chatty House
Paul
Rohan
Or anybody else that owns a business
And wants to run it
How they see fit
I'll run my business the way I see fit
And fuck with businesses that you know
It's different
That's all
That's the end of Joe's addresses
Okay
That was a good address Yeah Yeah businesses that you know it's different that's all that's the end of joe's addresses okay that
was a good address yeah yeah they're not gonna be the last at all bro i went on that app twice
they're not gonna be the last i can kill us like i'm seeing articles going oh joe should have got
paid the fam no no no no no no no no no no no no. Joe never asked to be paid. Don't do that.
Joe never asked to be paid from the people that should have been paying Joe.
Shit, I'm asking for respect and fucking fair rights and shit like that.
What else happened?
Chad Wheeler happened.
Yeah.
Give it to us.
Yeah.
Give it to us.
Chad Wheeler of the Seattle Seahawks.
Story broke right after we finished recording the last one that his girlfriend was abused,
beat on, assaulted, choked,
and strangled to the point of unconsciousness.
I'm not reading this.
This is off the head.
It was so disturbing disturbing I remember it and one of the more brutal details was about how he continued to eat dinner as she
lay unconscious in the bed because he thought she was dead Jesus and that when she got up he said
oh shit you're still alive like if that doesn't paint the picture
of a monster, and then every time I hear
one of those stories, like of
domestic abuse and
a football player,
I think of
what a football player has to muster
up to even be a football player.
Like,
you ever think about that, what it takes to be a football player
like what type of anger rage what type of animosity what type of shit you gotta have
inside of you absolutely to casually play football even to casually play it yeah
it's this aggressive very violent sport for sure so when that flick when that switch is flicked
indoors and you locked in a house with that type of monster and you a woman It's an aggressive, very violent sport for sure. So when that flick, when that switch is flicked indoors
and you locked in a house with that type of monster
and you a woman and he think it's the field,
no, that's a really scary sight.
This was a black woman at that.
The pictures couldn't have been any more disturbing
and the lack of media coverage couldn't have been any more disturbing. And the lack of media coverage
couldn't have been any more disturbing.
I feel like this took a few days
to actually catch wind with people.
And only was reported
because people were saying
it's not being reported by the major outlets.
Yeah, there was no breaking news ticker
across the sports feeds.
They didn't interrupt
any of the broadcasts to tell me what a piece
of shit this guy is.
And even when they started to tell
this story, the pictures that they used,
boy, was he a beautiful man.
They couldn't find none of the
bad Chad Wheeler pictures like they
find for every black guy.
Gotta be something
with him looking angrier
than how they've shown him.
Offensive tackle.
Born in 94.
How old does that make this kid?
A kid?
26.
Oh my fucking Jesus, man.
Well, hopefully she has some uncles
and some cousins that...
That shoot him?
That feel some type of way and have a conversation with him.
That's always my next thought, too.
Like, what happens when the people that love that person act on it?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It happens.
Hopefully it will.
And I'm glad that this sister didn't hold him down.
Like we've seen in the past with people that are in relationships with football players.
You don't want your lifestyle altered.
You want to protect that man.
I'm glad she did what she had to do here and broke this.
Seahawks put out a statement, but does it fucking matter?
I don't want to hear from the Seahawks at this point.
I don't want to hear from, yeah.
I'm sorry.
They're the last people on here.
It reminded me of how casually the news and the media outlets
dealt with that Giants kicker that was a piece of shit.
Y'all remember that?
I do.
Refresh my memory.
I don't want to lie on his name, but it was a Giants kicker,
and I think it was in the offseason that it came out
that he was a piece of shit to his wife,
whatever he was doing to his wife, beating her ass.
It was bad.
He'll find it, and we'll read it.
But that wasn't so widely reported.
I mean, you don't know it.
Shit.
Yeah, no, I don't even remember it.
But it doesn't shock me.
It doesn't shock me at all.
A lot of domestic violence things in the NFL get thrown under wraps,
especially when the player is white.
If I remember correctly, that kicker got a job somewhere else too.
Either way, I watched Ray Rice unfortunately punch his significant other on camera,
and the NFL was forced to suspend him.
significant other on camera and the NFL was forced to suspend him like that's how sick the NFL is when it comes to domestic violence Josh Brown on
allegations I never hit her oh he denied this admitted publicly oh you made it
publicly domestic violence the first time during an interview with good
morning Mary yep I got it I got it somehow this was on good morning America
and wasn't so widely spread.
Yeah, Chad Will is a piece of shit, and that was a really disturbing story.
Hopefully he's brought to justice.
Yeah.
And hopefully that sister gets peace and healing.
Those pictures were very disturbing.
I'm really, really sorry that she had to experience that.
It was such a monster.
This next story, I'll be honest, I wasn't certain I was even going to come in here and talk about it because I feel like it's developing.
And I probably won't.
I won't out of respect for the victims or the alleged victims, whomever they may be in this story
I'm not going to say the names involved
I'm just going to say there's a pretty
pretty high profile
hip hop story that is
is and has been
developing
and we'll watch it as it goes
but see what I mean
about how the news cycle in 2021
is not so different than 2020, like in January.
I saw something that said these were the Wednesdays in January,
and it was the Capitol being stormed.
It was GameStop.
It was Nancy Pelosi doing some shit and something else wild.
Not much music.
Yeah. Yo, no wild. Not much music. Yeah.
Yo,
no one wants to hear music.
I would like to hear music.
I would love to hear it.
Y'all are the minority.
Maybe so.
Y'all are the minority.
That wants to hear music?
Yeah.
I think everybody wants to hear music.
You want to hear the music
you have already.
Or you want to hear...
We talked about this already.
You want to hear the music
you know already.
We make our own playlist. We make our yeah we yeah we new music i'm putting
albums on now no no no no no no no what's dodge coin we we can get back to entertainment some
other time um what else what else do we have that is important chad wheeler i think was the last thing i felt was near and dear to my soul jason whitton retires again for the 90th time i want to laugh but shit he retired he retired
and unretired and started getting buckets picked him up off the waiver it's like this old dude my
god damn it he will catch it in the red zone won't he uh jason went retiring from the nfl
after 17 seasons.
Plans to do so.
He signed a one-day contract with the Cowboys.
That's a long time to play football.
It is.
17 years?
That's a long time.
Yeah, back to imagine doing something for six decades.
Right.
That's a long time.
Hold on. I moved my hoodie and my Beats Pros came out.
When these come out, the magic start.
Not a ad.
When they get naked on the FaceTime, I got to say, hold up.
I want to hear that in HD.
I have to hear this in HD.
I say, hold up for a minute.
Where are my headphones?
You put your headphones on when you FaceTime?
What, nigga?
You kidding?
You don't?
You don't?
Actually, that's the only way. You don't? That's the only way I know how to FaceTime. Wait the heck are you kidding? You don't? You don't? Actually, that's the only way.
You don't?
That's the only way I know how to FaceTime.
Wait a second.
You want to hear that, Macaroni?
Wait one second.
Mac.
Wait one second.
You do got to hear it, though.
You can hear it.
You can hear it from your phone.
More.
No, it's better in my ears, though.
Walk me through this on a Saturday, more.
Rory's a fucking idiot.
I want you to stop talking to Rory.
Oh.
Walk me through this.
The naked FaceTime.
I'm assuming you're in the bed.
Or on the couch, yeah.
Yo, you are such a hurt nigga.
You've never done the couch?
Yeah.
I've done the kitchen.
Yo, you're the only nigga that get that.
Wait a second.
What type of creeps are y'all?
I've been blasted in the kitchen.
You're doing the naked FaceTime call on the couch in the living room?
Yes.
The homies ain't in the living room with me.
Ain't nobody else there.
I know, but that ain't the naked FaceTime vibe.
Well, it depends on the couch.
Is the ottoman there?
It's a couch that people sit on.
Is it leather?
TV is far.
All right, let's stay with right. Let's stay with you.
Let's stay with you.
Oh, you a beginner?
No.
I just want to know what does TV have to do with my FaceTime?
Oh, you a beginner.
That's what it is.
You put the FaceTime on the TV?
Airplay that motherfucker?
Oh, yeah, see.
Airplay that macaroni?
That's the weird shit.
That's weird.
That's the weird shit.
I don't know if that's weird.
Putting FaceTime on TV?
What the hell is Maul saying? It's actually mad resourceful. Yo, you a beginner. No, that's just weird. No wonder't know if that's weird I'm on TV what the hell is Maul saying
yo you're a beginner
no that's just weird
no wonder you don't
believe in the stocks
you don't even believe
in airplanes
that's fucking weird
that's the weird shit
I got that in my living room
what the hell
it's right there
Maul
I actually got the
big TV in my living room
let's do some math
I'm not gonna lie to you
I hook up the face
side of the TV
and the speaker
my phone screen
is 13 inches
of titties
my TV is 13 inches of titties.
My TV is 77 inches of titties.
Why am I not putting...
They're bigger than
in real life on the TV.
Yeah.
It's got like
double, triple Zs.
Get what you pay for.
Why am I not
putting that on the TV?
No, I mean, I'm not mad at you.
But let's go with your way.
You in the living room.
You sitting the phone down somewhere, I'm assuming, right?
Yep.
And the speaker is on the bottom of the phone.
Yeah.
So you run into that where the lusty voice is in the lower octave.
It's muffled. And the speaker's muffled.
So you can't really get into that.
And if she say the right thing on the FaceTime, I'm busting.
Mm-hmm.
So I'm grabbing it.
You never heard that term before?
What do you Ayo? You good?
Yo, you good?
What are you Ayo-ing from the kitchen
in the yellow scully? Yellow scully man
might not understand some of the things
Joe talks about.
The fuck is he talking about from the kitchen?
Nigga, just put the screen up.
Oh no, he got it up.
We got the right shit playing, too.
I can't believe Maul don't do the headphones.
You got to hear that shit. I need to hear her say whatever she's saying.
No, I feel you.
I'm not mad at that.
Definitely not mad at that.
Makes a difference.
Yeah.
It's a more enjoyable experience, I would guess.
Sure.
Off of that, I don't know how we got there.
We're finally at the place where Mulatto has decided to change her rap name.
I'm hitting a round of applause for that because it's important.
And I like what she had to say about it.
Oh, look.
I'm getting tired of that.
She's got to stop just double liking my shit emoji.
Say something.
You want words?
Put effort for it.
Use your words.
Why they do that?
I gave you the double heart.
I've made it float all over the screen.
Oh, you sent that one?
Look what you be saying.
You sent the floating heart eyes? Got to double down sometimes. I made it You send a floating heart eyes
Gotta double down sometimes
I made it rain heart
Heart eyes
Oh my god
I made it rain heart emojis
Yeah
She gonna double tap my shit
Bitch
That means that was cute
That's all that means
That was cute
Thanks for the compliment
Yeah that was cute
That means she's not
In tune with her girls
That means
Oh you're so cute.
That is what that means.
Remember the first time you got that and thought she really meant it?
How old were you when you learned that you're not going to come for me, daddy?
That means that they want you out the pussy.
A couple abortions ago.
Damn.
Look.
Okay.
Comedy style, Mo.
No, we leave it there.
It's a woman's choice I love it
We don't know
I mean
I mean is it
We don't know what's going on
We don't know what style that was
Yo after every pod
I go home
And somebody call me
And say yo what's up Aurora
I say I don't know
I have no idea
They're like yo you really tied it up
I'm like yeah
Yeah he is
I mean, number one
potter.
I like it.
Can I tell y'all
that I am going to be
upset if he's going through
turmoil at home
and handling it smoothly on the air.
Why?
I ain't going to like that.
You going to hate him?
Why are you hating on the way he handling his shit?
Have my friends listened to me in the past eight months?
I have.
But you doing no, no, no, no.
I have.
No, no, no.
I have.
No, no, no, no.
I tell you all the time, just call me if you need some advice.
No, I'm not letting Rory do that.
Rory, you know Rory is Spielberg.
Yeah, for sure.
So Rory knows how to tell a good joke.
Yeah.
So you never know when it's a good joke or it's not a good joke.
But the good jokes come from real shit.
And this is all alleged.
When you're a public figure like me and the girls.
Who are the girls?
Whenever I go to the bio, sometimes it says public figure.
I'm like, wait.
I know.
Fine.
I've never seen you in public.
Fine. You're in the public. I'm rolling. wait. I know. Define public. I've never seen you in public. Fine.
Gritted.
Fine.
You're in the public.
I'm rolling.
You're cute.
You're publicly cute.
Is that?
That's what it means, right?
That is what it means.
Publicly cute.
You are cute in public.
So you're a public figure.
Never seen you in public.
Ta-da!
Whoever has, you're cute.
So yeah, Rory's good at telling the good.
I never know when he's doing that shit.
When you're a public figure like me and the girls, you got to wear it.
Stop saying me and the girls.
Why?
Shit.
Well, it just has implications that we are the girls.
Oh, no.
That's not what I was thinking.
I was thinking about Joe and his Instagram.
Y'all could never.
Y'all would never be the girls.
Never.
You're right about that.
Are you kidding me?
Never.
Anyway, yeah.
Like, I had to come in here and really wear that shit on air.
I couldn't be cool like Rory.
Them niggas knew.
Yeah, but that's the difference, though.
Like, Rory's just handling it.
He learned from you.
Mulatto changed her name.
What'd she change her name to?
She didn't say.
Ah.
I think you were going to play us a little.
Oh, yeah, but I just like the way that she handled this man for for a young woman well they were saying big lotto was was what they
were guessing she was gonna land big big lotto that had been her aka i fuck with lotto i do
i do as well i don't know i don't know why i do because i fuck with artists now not because of
their music no more that's reasonable it's not about their music do. Because women like your music. I fuck with artists now not because of their music no more.
That's reasonable.
It's not about their music.
I'm not listening to your music.
I'm not cutting it on.
Like, I'm not going to that.
Like, I just like how people maneuver.
Sure.
Or don't maneuver.
Like, I like it.
And if you do that, I'm going to champion however your weird way of maneuvering is.
But, yeah, especially in this new era of fucking clown shit. Okay, well, have you been around women when Big Lotto has come on?
It works.
Yeah, absolutely.
You're going to like her music.
She's one of those.
Oh, see, I needed that.
She makes all the girls do a certain thing
when it comes on.
I needed that in the playlist.
They really move their ass.
You know, they really commit to the music
and the message.
Yeah, they understand it.
They relate to the music. Yeah. Oh, I yeah. They understand it. They relate to the music.
Yeah.
Oh, I never know where to go.
I love Passion more.
After I give them WAP and Body,
I'd just be lost.
Oh, no.
You can get the whole Big Lotto playlist.
You gotta get Big Lotto
when you're Serato.
Oh, wait.
Throw Baby is in there now, too.
Throw Baby is in it.
Not the remix,
the original.
Throw Baby is in there.
That's been in there.
New approach.
New approach. Approach. I's been in there. New approach. New approach.
Approach.
I can't even talk.
New appreciation for Throat Baby.
The end.
It worked?
Don't know what you're talking about.
You going to play a clip?
Of Throat Baby?
No.
We know that record
And I don't think you were talking about the song
You heard me?
I hear you bro
What you think I did?
I don't wanna know
Something right?
Yeah I don't wanna know what you did
Stop looking at me
I don't wanna know what you did
Mulatto game
I don't like my laugh so close to the mic you like i stopped
listening this part here we go make a tweet like oh no bring that back bring that back so now i'm
like okay my intention was to never like glorify being mulatto so if that's how it's being perceived
people think like oh i'm saying oh i'm better because i'm a lot or my my personality trait is
mulatto like i think that's that's how they're
taking it so if that's not my intentions then I need to change the matter at hand which is the
name change look how simple that was that is that is happening but I don't even need to play no more
she expounded on that point yeah very rarely today do I hear the young artist say yeah yo I did that
I didn't know that
that's how it was being taken
so
I'm changing that
yeah
right
and I mean
remember all that hoopla
that the internet
the internet being a hoopla
about nothing sometimes
like sometimes
all the time
sometimes shit is a real simple
all the time
well niggas play into it
cause the internet
get into some shit
and then we get in our own way.
So we start trying to argue with the internet.
She said, yeah, I didn't know y'all was doing that.
And that wasn't my point.
So, nah.
Yeah, but the internet doesn't accept that.
Thanks, Mulatto.
When they learn something that's offensive and then focus on someone else and they say, hey, I didn't know that.
And the internet, even though they just found out it was offensive, says, no, we don't accept that.
You're canceled.
That's true.
Like, fam, you just learned it too. I like learned it too I like I like how she did that shout out to big
lotto big lotto that's that's uh I like that name for for female female rapper
big lotto yeah me too I gotta go. She's going to come shake some ass
in the kitchen playlist together.
I like the name
of the playlist already.
Yeah, it's a good name.
I like specific playlists.
It's only for the kitchen.
That like matter
for certain times.
You ain't got no Lotto
on your throat?
Because those are the songs,
those are the songs.
I never go to the real shit songs
and I never know I need to
until the turn up is there
and they're like,
yo man,
put some real shit on
and you can keep playing the real shit
he's like oh that's all I
had nigga Joe starts
stumbling like oh
I'm about to lose the vibe
I'm king of lose the vibe
that's when I just rewind the track
body yada yada yada yada
yada yada yada yada yada yada yada yada I'm like damn this song is too short
to have my dick out to
damn I just got to my bag
on the last chorus
oh my god
where's the 7 minute version
of body yaddy yaddy yaddy yaddy yaddy
just loop it you got the DJ equipment.
Look at that.
Look at Big Lotto.
Damn.
Why am I such a sucker when chicks just bite their lips?
When they lay on fruit, it always works.
When women bite their lips, it's like, oh.
It's never not worked.
Oh.
But why?
Because they bite their lip.
Why is that such a move?
Self-explanatory.
You see little baby iced out?
That's what I got.
Because that's what I was looking at.
Throw baby.
When he hit that part and she do that shit.
Y'all can't relate man
niggas are married
and they're
Maul ain't never
threw that throw baby on
in the living room
nah I haven't
like a lot of you
throw baby
that's when she
get that shit
to the back of
come on man
come on come on
look
Rory wanna edit that
I didn't say
nothing about you
I didn't say
nothing about you
just now
I didn't say a word
gotta edit all the fun stuff
Got to
I'm gone
I was done 35 minutes ago
What you mean
What you mean
Nah he's here
Alright
And I ain't
Avocadabra
Can we roll out the red carpet here
He said we rolling out all the combinations
Now check this out
I am intentionally shutting the fuck up
Cause anytime anybody from Griselda comes here
The fans tell me I talk too much
Really?
Yes
Is that true? I don't think so I don't know I mean if I'm being open minded Anybody from Griselda comes here, the fans tell me I talk too much. Really? Yes.
Is that true?
I don't think so.
I don't know.
I mean, if I'm being open-minded, I can see how I get hype when they come and maybe get more into a rapper bag, maybe.
Okay.
So I'll be hype.
You're a rapper.
They don't want to hear that shit.
You don't want to hear a rapper talk to rappers?
You guys are from the same class.
They don't want to hear me.
When somebody is active that's killing shit here,
it's time to get into that.
So I want to shut the fuck up
and get to it.
More, more intros.
The machine is here, man.
Conway.
What up, man?
Finally.
What up?
Yeah, finally, man.
You know how to pull up, man,
and see, you know?
Yeah.
Get the experience.
Right.
What's going on, though?
Get the red carpet accommodations. Yeah, there on, though? Get the red carpet accommodations.
Yeah, this carpet is.
Wine, beer, everything on this carpet.
It's nice.
Conway said he thought we were selling weed out of this shit.
He asked me if I had the Reggie on me or some shit.
Yeah.
What's good, though, family?
Man, you know, man, I'm just happy to be alive and free.
I hear you.
I hear you.
I'm just happy, man, to still be, you know what I mean?
Still be breathing, man.
Still be able to be able to, you know, put on for the city like I'm doing
and be rocking these Easter colors like Joe said.
You know what I mean? You look good. I'm just thankful, rocking these Easter colors like Joe said. Right.
You look good.
I'm just thankful, man.
I'm blessed.
Right.
You look good.
You look good enough for me
to get rid of my theory
that you and Conway
names are wrong.
You and Wes.
He's Conway.
Who do I say names are wrong?
Conway and Wes.
This is Conway.
That's not what I just said?
No, you said you and Conway.
Oh, my bad. Yes. You and Wes. Y'all names areway. That's not what I just said? No, you said you and Conway. Oh, my bad.
Yes, you and West.
Y'all names are wrong.
Let's do a great start.
You know what I'm saying?
I think their names are wrong.
Why?
Because Conway's a clothing store.
That shit is-
Conway's a clothing-
They don't?
No, hell no.
Conway's been clothed, right?
I don't know.
But this nigga's fresh to death.
All your niggas are fresh.
Yeah, man.
I try, man.
I don't really go nowhere or do nothing.
So when I do pull up, I try to look my best.
Be comfortable.
Same.
I ain't had shit for a long, long time.
So I was a nigga.
I had to make my little hoodies and shit with the lint on them look good.
Nigga, nah, I got me some chains, nigga.
I'm going to put on.
Right.
You feel me?
Right.
Lint looks better with the chains for sure.
Yeah, for sure.
Changes things.
Tell me about the plans you had before you ran into Pat Mahomes.
I planned on...
Because his name is Pat Mahomes
and I had the Bills
winning and I thought that the Bills winning
would do like a great deed
for y'all unbelievable
kinda like Wiz with Black and Yellow when Pittsburgh
won Jim with Ballin
when the Giants won like
I was rooting for the Bills but I was really rooting for y'all
just to see what y'all would do with that runway
right
I don't know man I just was more excited for what it was doing for the city you know i mean
i ain't really felt that in like you know like 30 years like the bill's been kind of like you know
irrelevant for like 30 years so it's like you know if you if you were in buffalo or come through
buffalo you could just see like how even during the pandemic,
just how what the Bills did during this season this year for the time, like the electricity
and all that.
It just was dope for them to do that.
You know what I'm saying?
But like you said, we ran into old Pat Mahomes, man.
He's a bad boy, but we're a piece or two away.
You know what I mean?
I'm still proud of the gang.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Y'all will be back next year.
Yeah, that's a fact.
His name is Pat Mahomes.
He's different.
Yeah, he different.
He different.
You were telling Maul some story that I missed.
Oh, yeah, about his music.
About his music.
He got some coming out next week.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I've heard from Maul
And everyone else
In the entire world
That this album
Is the greatest album
That's ever been recorded
In musical history
So what's up
Is it coming out
I'm not sure
Like
An exact date
You know what I mean
Like I was telling him
Cause I'm still like
Fixing a verse here
Like I'm one of them niggas
That I
I listen to some shit
And I hear like One little bar And be like I don't them niggas that I listen to some shit and I hear one little bar and be like,
I don't like how I said that.
I could say that better than go and fix it and shit like that.
You know what I mean?
It's like, I know that this is my debut on Shady.
So it's like, I want to leave a memorable body of work behind, regardless of what's the situations or whatever.
I got to do my part and do what I do best.
You know what I'm saying?
So that's really been the hold up.
Been really like me, just fine tuning and tweaking that shit.
But you know what I'm saying?
That shit coming.
We was shooting for February.
But like I said, I ain't really turned that shit in yet.
So it's probably going to be like March. You know what I'm saying? But that, but like I said, I ain't really turned that shit in yet, so it's probably going to be March.
You know what I'm saying?
But that shit coming.
It's done.
I'm just changing little lines and shit there, but you know what I mean?
All the songs is the songs, and ain't going to be no changes as far as that.
You know what I'm saying?
Rob Markman, Did you approach that one a bit different?
Because it is a solo album on a major, as opposed to your other projects?
Lil Jon, Hell yeah.
I ain't going to lie.
Doing everything on my own, we was always doing everything ourselves and shit, but you
know what I mean?
It's a major, we told you.
It's just shady records.
You know what I'm saying?
It's a major and I don't want niggas to be like... I don't give a fuck what label it
was or if it was.
I just don't want niggas to be like, no, that shit all that wasn't it that last was better or whatever the case may be and i
don't wanted to make it like a thing like you know i mean i just threw some out there just to
get the album done like you know what i mean like nah i gotta i gotta make sure that is
the illest ever how do you feel about releasing music right now like the pandemic doesn't seem like
people's interest is necessarily into music all the way like how is that as an artist having to
drop any way through all this or get attention um i looked at it as an advantage for me because like
i'm not one of them niggas that you know my music is you know based off like niggas going to the
club or you know stuntingting and strip club songs and
shit.
I'm not saying I can't make that or whatever, but that ain't my focus when I'm recording
and when I'm doing my shit.
My shit is a feeling.
It's a story.
It's something that resonate with niggas and resonate with people and get them through.
So I felt like I needed to make songs like Frontlines,
songs like Forever Dropping Tears and shit like that.
People done lost people to COVID.
You know what I'm saying?
Recipe Shea.
People done lost people to bullshit with the police and all that.
So I'm one of them niggas that I'm happy that I can talk about other shit.
You know what I mean?
I don't got to just talk about my chains and all that you know what i mean and the and the fat asses
and all that i mean that you know what i'm saying i got i feel i like to think i got a lot
of substance with my what's the situation with um with shady they never tell us they never tell
us we've invited them all here and they all tap dance around it I love them all
So I never press the issue
Now what
Wes
Wes gave it to him
Wes didn't tap dance
He straight up said
I'm a free agent now
Yeah
So
He said it in a nice way
I admired how
How honorable
He was
Yeah he answered the question
Just in a really
Political and nice way
Nah 100%
Basically man It's you know
the deal you know we should have album each and a group album so you know what was she gonna do
was the group album um wes gay who made the sunshine that's his album and then my album and
then the god don't make mistakes and that's that's you know that's the end of those terms
of that contract and it's you know it's's just, we'll see what happens from there.
You know what I'm saying?
But I really, you know what I mean?
It's like not no bad blood or nothing.
I'm actually thankful for the opportunity from Paul.
You know what I'm saying?
Mike.
You know what I'm saying?
M.
All that.
You know what I'm saying?
Thank you.
You know what I mean?
It was dope, man.
And I'm very appreciative of
every every moment of my journey wherever i go wherever it take me see i need more of that
i need to say that more because i don't be caring for real because niggas that you don't like did
create your opportunity and that i'm not talking about shady i'm saying just in life yeah yeah
like yeah good looking may not be on the same page today but that was dope you looked out did create your opportunity and that, I'm not talking about shady. I'm saying just in life. Yeah. Like,
yeah,
good looking.
May not be on the same page today,
but that was dope.
You looked out.
I give you that.
Then,
let me ask you a question
and in no way am I trying
to make this a negative,
shady thing at all,
but I do think it's interesting
of rappers that
are so successful
in an independent space
that go to a major.
What's something
extremely positive
you learned going to a major and what's something extremely negative that you learned go to a major? What's something extremely positive you learned going to a major,
and what's something extremely negative that you learned going to a major?
That's a good question, man.
I never really, I don't know.
I never really gained that new thought, you know what I'm saying?
I just try to focus on the positives, and the positives actually came from,
I don't know, man.
God don't make mistakes, man. Coming out soon, man. I don't know man, God don't make mistakes man, coming
out soon.
I don't want to say too much, you feel me?
But I just want to say this, everything is a lesson, you know what I'm saying?
It's a lesson in everything.
Real shit.
It's a beauty in a journey man, and you know what I'm saying?
You just got to learn and grow from everything, you know what I'm saying?
I don't give a fuck if it's good or bad, I need to learn from it, you know what I'm saying? I don't give a fuck if it's good or bad. I need to learn from it.
You know what I'm saying?
So what's going on
with the,
because a lot of people
have been hitting me
specifically about the tweets
going on about you saying
they don't fuck with you
and something,
something,
the Griselda's breaking up
and you know,
just a whole bunch of shit
going on on the internet.
Yeah, man,
them niggas cut me off,
mom.
You're not Griselda no more? You know, just a whole bunch of shit going on on the internet. Yeah, man. Them niggas cut me off, man. You not result in them one?
Hey, Chad.
Them niggas cut me off, Chad.
So they've been bringing that up for weeks, man.
I never said them niggas was breaking up or none of that shit and shit.
You know what I'm saying?
It's just ironic that I had no idea.
Like, motherfuckers, I seen some shit on Instagram where motherfuckers had the tweets next to it. It's just ironic that I had no idea.
I seen some shit on the Instagram where motherfuckers had the tweets next to each other, me and
Benny's and shit.
Yeah, yeah.
Bruh, motherfuckers be tripping.
I ain't had no idea what he tweeting, none of that shit.
I don't be on that internet shit watching.
I just, you know what I mean?
I fuck off a little bit on there, that's all.
You know what I'm saying?
But man, we good, man.
You know what I'm saying?
The mob going to always be the gang, man.
We straight, man.
I just, we just, nigga, every time you see them, I'm around like, we at the game and
shit.
You know what I'm saying?
It's like, niggas has just grown.
Niggas got to understand, feel me?
I'm about to be 39 next month.
You feel me? Like, I'm about to be 39 next month. You feel me?
Like, niggas is having businesses and different endeavors and entities where niggas ain't
got to be just hanging out in the same studio, in the same, you know what I'm saying?
The same place every time.
Just because I'm starting drum work don't mean like, fuck Griselda.
You know what I'm saying?
It's just like, I'm on some other type of shit.
I ain't just no artist.
I don't want to be just a nigga that sign a contract and spit bars.
Like I'm, you know what I mean?
My mind is, I don't have no ceilings on my shit.
You know what I mean?
There's no limit.
There's no, the sky, there ain't no limit to what I can do.
And I just believe that and that's what it is, man.
You know what I'm saying?
That shit ain't about nothing, man.
But the game is good.
I really be fucking with the, like, when motherfuckers be tweeting and all that shit, I be just really, like, you know, I'm a funny nigga.
Right, right.
I knew that.
I knew that, yeah.
See what I'm saying?
But, like, that shit ain't about nothing, man.
I was just talking to Wes earlier.
Cool.
You know what I mean?
Nah.
Nah.
What you mean nah
Mr. Negative over here
Don't never want to believe
That shit's all good
Never
This shit is too good
You gotta shake shit up
Yo what is he saying
I mean I have to
I have to
Let me see
Pull it up
What you talking about
I gotta challenge
Some of this stuff
Go ahead
It's not that niggas
Is tripping
Alex pull the tweets up
And niggas might
I mean I don't care About the tweets He said he was trolling he's trolling i
take the man at face value but what i'm saying is for those of us that didn't know that for those
of us that had no idea about your sense of humor like all we know is that every group and collective
we've ever seen in hip hop started saying that,
Hey,
it's family.
It's never,
we grew up.
That's my real cousin.
That's my,
no,
a hundred percent.
No,
a hundred percent.
They all have said it.
We've also seen the demise and breakup of people that we never imagined.
We see in hip hop.
Like we've seen that all.
That's true.
A hundred percent. And we done spoke to see in hip-hop like we've seen that all that's true 100 and we
done spoke to everybody in griselda so all we know is they ain't tell you they cut me off
they didn't give us the exclusive six months conway he's out but you're saying that i'm not
letting him get that off because you say that right but there's been
rumblings of whatever shady contracts are going on within the camp right and we don't have to
talk about that but that's out there one of y'all is still there yeah he still holds his album that's
odd i understand it but i'm saying for the people
that don't have the information when you take that and you take that and you take these other
projects that are coming out off the air it can look away and you take this one maybe that started
with this sound is now it's a drake feature suppress feature this has all the ingredients
for people to believe something's going something's up yeah so now i get that
because i didn't know that you had that amazing of a sense of humor but what do you say about the
people that are gullible enough to fall for it do you think it's like do you think it could cause
more harm than good to joking yeah i'm seeing that now you know i'm saying i'm seeing that now
because like motherfuckers love this
Griselda shit
and love what we built
and brought to the table
and the way we did it,
like,
just,
we did it ourselves
like as family together.
So,
you know what I'm saying?
Like,
but that's one of the things
though
that I feel
I'm going to keep it
all the way
a thousand right here
and niggas might get mad
at me and all that later
and I might get a phone call but that's one of the things that, you know, I be trying to keep it all the way to 1,000 right here. Niggas might get mad at me and all that later. I might get a phone call.
But that's one of the things that I be trying to drive home to niggas.
You feel me?
Nigga, we can't deviate from what we came from, what we did, man.
And I'm going to be the first to say it like that.
How we came through, that energy really ain't the same no more.
And it's not no
even no funny shit
it's just
like I was saying earlier
like niggas is
it's growing
it can't be
it's growing
so it's like
you don't even realize
like the energy change
like nigga
I'm with my kids
that's where I
you know nigga
man we might heard from you
in the week
like I
I'm with the family
you know Wes got
you know four kids
on the way.
They just don't think y'all got families from the songs.
Yeah, I get where it could look like that.
You know what I'm saying?
I'm just glad that it's not.
We ain't going to let that happen.
I didn't know about that.
That shady shit is just, like I said, I'm just the last piece left.
My album.
You know what I'm saying like
Wes is done with his where he got a um his obligation and shit my I still gotta drop God
don't make mistakes so that's why like you know I'm still on Shady and Wes gone you know I'm
saying however look but yeah man well it looks that way because no one ever of you guys' talent pool
was offered the opportunity to put one album out
with all of the labels backing and support and then be a free agent.
I don't know that to happen in the history of music.
That's when music sneaks in that, hey, one with an option.
Mutual option, whatever the fuck the term is.
So this is like damn near unprecedented,
what y'all are doing.
Yeah.
It's tough for people to grasp.
Right.
It's a lot of firsts.
To do a group album and then just do a solo album each
and be out the deal is completely unheard of.
Yeah, man.
Which means y'all signed an amazing deal.
Anyone that signs a deal should always sign for the shortest.
Or it means they're beefing.
No, that doesn't mean that.
I know they're not beefing.
I know they're not.
That also doesn't mean they're beefing.
I'm saying, I'm saying where.
No, it's not Joe.
No, I'm joking.
I'm just saying where people might pull that from.
That is not the case.
That's all.
That's all.
Nah, man.
That ain't no beef, man.
It's love, man.
You know what I'm saying?
Thank you, Shady.
You know what I'm saying?
And Griselda's forever.
You know what I mean?
Well, then let me ask solo career-wise, once you are out this deal, and Maul speaks extremely
highly of this album, so once it does come out, what's your planned solo career after
being on a major and being independent?
I don't know, man. being independent um i don't know man honestly
i really i really don't know like i think i'm just gonna you know see what's out there like
you know see what's out there man i've been like from king to a god i did that you know independently
that was my the first um release on my shit drum work you know, that shit was like billboard 200, you know what I mean?
I don't remember the number, but
it did well, you know what I'm saying?
So, you know, I'm just like,
you know what I mean? I'm basically, man, you know what I'm saying?
I'm young Master P
of this shit right now, man.
Fuck it, man. Back to selling
500 units out the trunk, man.
It's better than the streams.
Way more profitable than that. Stream money ain't. Yeah, word. Way more profitable than that.
That stream money ain't about nothing.
So, yeah.
So, what's going on with, because I seen Wes and Makami pieced it up.
And I know that was an issue, you know, that a lot of people that follow Griselda know
the history with Makami, God, Faheem, Wes, and all of that.
Like, what's the situation with that?
As far as like Makami being back around, like, and all of that. What's the situation with that as far as Moc Homme being back around?
Is the music coming?
I have no idea, honestly. I haven't seen Moc or heard from him in years.
I have no idea.
You know what I mean?
I've seen a picture on Instagram like everybody else.
Okay.
You know what I'm saying?
Right.
See, Moc and Faheem, them was Wes homies and 2 Chainz, you know what I'm saying? See Mark and Faheem, them was Wes homies and shit.
You know what I'm saying?
Like Wes was fucking with them niggas and pulled them niggas in.
You know what I mean?
I really don't know where shit went left.
I think it was, you know, they was doing some shit that Wes really wasn't feeling and Wes
had a conversation with him and niggas just decided to do what, do, you know.
I don't know, man.
I don't get into that shit.
You feel me?
You know what I'm saying?
But, you know, Moc had did like some weird shit.
You know what I mean?
Like we had did a joint that was supposed to be on the Grammy's All Time album and shit.
And I guess once niggas started acting fucking weird and shit or whatever, like MIA and shit, niggas
just put the shit out.
You know what I mean?
Like my song off my album and shit.
I wasn't feeling nothing.
I didn't know how I was going to take that, honestly.
I kind of just let that shit go or whatever, but I have no idea what the plans is or what's
going on with that or the picture or none of that.
I haven't talked to Wes about it
or I ain't seen
them niggas in years
so I ain't,
you know,
smoke.
Wish niggas the best.
With all of this
newfound success,
have you had to practice
new ways of
conflict resolution?
Um,
yeah,
man,
yeah.
I just,
just stay in my bubble,
man.
I thought that was
a good way to word it. That's a good way to word what I'm trying to say. Yeah. Come on, just mind, just stay in my bubble, man. I thought that was a good way to word it.
That's a good way to word what I'm trying to say.
Yeah.
Yeah, man, I just, you know, try to just mind my business, man.
Stay in my bubble, man.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, I don't want no smoke with nobody, man.
I don't care about nobody.
I don't want no problems.
Y'all don't care if you like my music.
If you don't like it, I don't care.
I care about DeMond and Esteban, my kids.
Daman and Noah, man.
Other than that, I'm worried about Love and J Skis right now, man.
I don't know.
You know what I mean?
I hope I don't have no conflict.
I don't want any conflict, especially no rappers, no rap shit. I come from... Man, we've been having the most extreme levels
of conflict in my city where I'm from, so why would I want to go back to that? You know
what I'm saying? Over some rap shit or something. Like, bro, I don't care how you even feel
about me or what you think about me. Just leave me alone. I'm going to be over here,
bro. I'm going to get out your way, bro. Leave me alone.
I don't want no smoke.
Where were you when you found out about Benny's Houston incident?
And what were some of the first thoughts that were running through your mind?
Man, I was in Buffalo.
I still live in Buffalo.
You know what I mean?
I still move around the city.
The way I was moving before any of this shit. So I still live in Buffalo, you know what I mean? I still move around the city the way I was moving before any of this shit.
So I still live in the city or whatever.
And I was at one of my spots with a couple of the homies.
I forgot who I was with.
I think Chad was there and my man Dredd or whatever.
And Wes called me.
And it's crazy because I knew something was wrong because Wes don't call me. Wes ain't actually called me in months, in the longest.
It'd be a text or something, a quick text.
Yo, I need you to da-da-da-da.
Yo, we doing this da-da-da-da.
And when he called, I'm like, fuck is Wes doing calling?
You know what I mean?
It's like eight, nine, I forgot.
No, I was like six, seven o'clock.
But he like, yo man, niggas just shot Benny, man, in Houston.
You know what I mean?
Shit, I'm going to call you right back.
And it was like no details of how he got shot, where he got shot.
So I immediately, I just threw my phone down like, man.
I just didn't want to think the worst what I was.
Like damn man, I hope they ain't... Because I know how the boy neck and all that.
I know how the boy move, you feel me?
Rob Markman, Right.
Right.
Rob Markman, Niggas be having on that type of shit that a nigga might, you know
what I'm saying?
Yeah.
Rob Markman, Do some nut shit or whatever.
So I'm just like man, please God, don't let this be that, bro.
And then I called... I had the nigga Heem, Benny Little Man.
That's my little man too, from the hood.
Heem from the hood, from around my area.
I know his pops and shit.
You know what I'm saying?
His pops are gangsters.
All his uncles, they gangsters.
You know what I'm saying?
So I know that he fuck with my little brother real tough.
So I had him call me like, yo, what the fuck happened, bro?
You know what I'm saying?
And he was just explaining to me and I was just waiting.
He was like, yeah, he just got hit in his leg.
But he was saying it like, yeah, it was in and out, big brother.
Nah, he good, we good.
We going to the hospital.
They going to let him in and we out of here.
You know what I'm saying?
So I'm like, all right.
I'm thinking we good, but I ain't no dog.
He was going to be in a wheelchair and shit and can't move his shit and all that.
So, it fucked me up, back to answer your question.
That shit fucked me up.
I bet.
I can imagine.
Does it change any, does it do anything to your thinking as you move around with that shit on, as you say?
Well, I learned that lesson already, you know what I'm saying?
So, I changed how I move.
I already started making those type of changes because I had to learn the hard way as well.
It's unfortunate, man.
I was just having a conversation with Love and I'm in the truck like, this hip hop shit
ain't like how it was in the 80s and the 90s.
This shit ain't... There's no merit to this shit no more.
There's no... Niggas don't give a fuck about this hip hop shit over here, man.
Nigga's smoke your ass and go have breakfast, nigga, with they kids.
You see how they did with T-Pac.
You see how they did, niggas.
You know what I'm saying?
Niggas get robbed.
Whoever, 50, everybody.
You know what I mean?
Ross got his shit shot up.
T.I. with Big Phil.
This happens in hip hop because niggas don't give a fuck about no rap shit.
That rap shit ain't going to stop nothing.
Rob Markman, nigga, when I remember coming up with Young Nigga, we just... You know
what I mean?
Niggas come... We trying to hold niggas down.
You know what I'm saying?
Man, we ain't going to let nothing happen to Jada and them.
They come to the hood like, no, that's Kiss. Where are your shit?
Yo, that's, man, that's, you know what I mean?
The niggas that we, because we love hip hop and what niggas mean to us.
This hip hop is like in Buffalo, niggas is still like when niggas be collecting like
basketball cards and Jordan, we really still look up to this shit and love this shit like
that.
Right.
But we got to face the reality, dog.
It's not like that no more.
Niggas don't give a fuck about how good you're rapping.
Your ass is a plate.
Shit.
More of a target now, I feel like.
That's a fact.
So it's unfortunate, you know what I mean?
But, you know, you just got to move Millie and just keep your head on the swivel, man,
for the bullshit.
All right.
Well, on a brighter note, then, can you tell me about Griselda's
Valentine's Day plans?
I don't celebrate that shit.
That sounds like Griselda.
I don't even get a shit to get on Valentine's Day.
It's not going to be a very Griselda Valentine?
I mean, I did some nuts shit.
Boy, my girl, a Keurig or something on Valentine's mean, I did some nice shit. While my girl
a Keurig
is signing
a toaster
is signing.
Like,
what the fuck?
That's romance.
That's romance.
There you go,
babe.
I'm lost
on the romance shit.
Got you the pocket
deuce deuce.
You know,
Snoop Dogg
and them two shirt.
You know,
I ain't learn
how to,
you know what I mean?
Romance these bitches.
Got you the strong taser.
They don't even sell this voltage.
It's illegal.
Same, Conway, same.
It ain't worth it.
Yo, let's talk about the-
We got child niggas all married and shit in here.
You don't even know how to romance.
Why we talking about child niggas, ma?
I'm still lost.
Where the hell is that?
Conway, Conway.
No one in here is married.
Yeah, I was about to say, oh, no, nobody's married. Conway Conway No one in here is married These two white boys Are perpetrating the fraud
Like their ancestors
Taught them to do
We're good at it now
Maul thinks that no man
Will ever be faithful right
No
It's not natural
And
And what do you think
It's cool
You can just leave yourself out
Yeah
I'll save you
Protect yourself
As a friend
Try to be a friend
I'm McDonald's to the thought life
Da da da da da
I'm loving it
This is why you don't rap anymore
I'm loving the thought life
Yeah that is why I don't rap no more
But if I did
I would be coming to you guys for a verse
Yeah
I would
I know that means a lot of debt
Nah I ain't gonna lie
I would actually love to hit Joe on
Jesus Crisis I would too I think that means Not a day I would actually love To hear Joe on Jesus Crisis
I would too
I think that beat
Shout out to Crisis
This guy would only love
To hear Joe
When one of y'all is around
No
I'll send it to you
Email
No that beat
Hey Chad
Send it over
Yeah that beat
That beat is a Joe beat
Let's see if we can
Make that happen
That's a Joe beat
What y'all got a Joe beat
Over there
Nah
Don't get me hyped
The song is out
That's a Joe beat
For sure.
All right.
You still, I know you still, I know you still be like writing and fucking with the music
though.
Like at least writing raps or thinking of raps.
Think of.
You think of them because they don't stop.
A little bar might hit you while you're brushing your teeth.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Nothing to release though.
Nothing to release.
Cold out the gate.
All right.
All right. All right. I get cold from the gate. Cold out the gate. All right. All right.
All right.
I get cold from the gate.
My crest is heavy.
All right.
All right.
All right, dude.
Sit down, nigga.
No, that's actually, I was curious about that.
I wanted to actually.
You thought that wasn't a freestyle.
You know what I mean?
That was not a freestyle.
He thought of that.
That was already.
He had that in the tuck.
That was in the tuck.
Yeah.
That was in the tuck.
That was in the notes.
Yeah.
He had that in the tuck. Look at Joe saving.
Damn, Joe.
I hate it here.
And you flossed right after.
I know you did.
You know floss was coming.
No, I do think it's shit here and there.
I try my best to stay away from beats that would inspire me
to avoid that
cause you never lose that
like if a beat come on
and it's some crack
you gonna write some fire shit
or think of some fire shit
and if you think of it
you kinda damn near
forced to lay it
so when it come
I'll be like
yeah
let me go mop
let's go sweep up
like
yeah yeah
just get it
just get it out of here
yo I've been trying to get
Maul to write a verse
Yeah
I don't rap man
How'd that go
Hasn't happened
I don't rap
Hasn't happened yet
I'm not even trying
I'm not even trying
Nah bro
You got the shit
Nigga you got me
You live the life
Nigga's rapping about
I was gonna say
You have some experience
Yeah man
Imagine how you come on
Come on Maul
What's your opening line
I don't rap
The Zaza Leave a mellow Like la la What's your opening line? I don't rap.
The Zaza.
Leave a mellow like la la.
What's up with you and the Zaza?
And you know I got shit tight.
Fa ha.
Holy shit.
I hope niggas would hate me.
Fa ha.
Fa ha.
On the block, they call me Blue Magic.
Ta da.
Let's go, Maul. Let's go, Maul. Let's. Ta-da! Let's go, ball!
Let's go, ball!
Let's go, ball!
Let's go, ball!
You're here calling me, ah!
Go, ball!
We can fix this count!
You broke it, nigga.
Holy shit, that hurt like a motherfucker.
Oh, we got to buy a new couch for real.
We out of here.
It's the last day we're sitting here.
Yeah, but I'm bleeding.
Yeah, well, you got cut for the pod.
Last episode.
Conway, you know
this is our last episode here?
Nah, I didn't know that.
We moving up
to an east side of park.
All right, can I get a napkin?
I'm bleeding like for real.
I don't know what happened.
Yeah, we're moving
around the corner,
not really to the upper east side.
Who introduced blood
to the pod game?
Huh?
You podders
don't give the blood up.
Yeah, this is our last episode here so this is real special to us that you are the person that we're talking to on the
last episode thank you man I'm glad to see this in the flesh man a beer and be
on the show man I love the show you thought thought it was bigger than that, right? Yeah. You seemed a little disappointed when you walked in.
Nah, nah, nah, nah.
You let us know.
Dr. Jones still ahead.
I was disappointed because there wasn't no gas in the mail slot.
Like, yo, I got that too.
You know what I mean?
On your way out of a party.
You know what I mean?
Give me a half a zip or something.
Let's talk about the time in Wyoming with Ye.
Working on music Writing
How was that experience?
It was dope man
It was dope
You think you're ever
Going to hear the stuff
You worked on?
That's a no
You heard it bro?
No
I get it man
You still worked on it
You still worked on it though
You told me not to smoke
I was drinking Before the interview You told me Hey He still worked on the. You still worked on it, though. You told me not to smoke, bro. I was drinking before the interview. You told me.
Hey, he still worked on the stuff.
It's a fact.
I can't tell you how we did.
You was dead.
It happened.
I was dead.
Can't change who he was, Shep.
I'm hoping it, though.
You know what I mean?
Some of the shit that I did, though, you know what I mean?
Niggas definitely hit me like, you know, like, side high.
Them niggas in Bentley and them niggas like, yeah, nah, niggas is feeling this one though.
I think this one go.
I did like six shits.
Oh, shit.
But y'all caught him right after the Jesus way, right?
So you guys were there for the Christian phase, no?
Or right before it?
Yeah, I met him for the first time.
Like, yeah, he was a Christian.
So what was the music when Griselda meets Yeezus for real?
Honestly, like, what you saying?
Like, what are the sign if it was the O.J.?
No, I'm saying what happened in that studio with the Christian, Kanye West, meets Griselda.
I ain't going to lie.
It was weird at first.
Like, the first couple days, I had to, you know, I'm going to tell you a funny-ass story.
Like, I was out there.
We out in Calabasas though this time.
You know what I mean?
Like you said, that nigga dead serious with that Christian.
He ain't playing with that.
You know what I'm saying?
So it's like the people there ain't playing.
So ain't no smoking, no drinking, none of that.
My vibe like so.
It's like, I'm mad.
He got the choir in there, he got, you know what I mean?
They praying and stuff.
I never really went to church and shit growing up, you know what I'm saying?
So I'm like, oh man, I'm thinking, why am I even here?
And now I spit, should I talk about?
And I ain't going to lie, that first day,
I didn't really come up with nothing.
I didn't really like what I came up with.
Then the second day, I got better.
Third day, I did like
four joints. And that third
day, I'm finishing the fourth joint.
Ye went near that day.
And nigga called me and shit.
I probably shouldn't be telling this story,
Chad.
You know what I mean?
The nigga Jay called the engineer that was working with us.
Somebody called you, so he on the phone like,
yeah, nah, Jay want you to come over to Dr. Dre house
and finish work doing this song.
I'm thinking to myself, I'm about to go to Dre house record.
So I get over to Dre's.
And Dre shit is a whole different environment.
It's going to fuck about 50 people in the room.
I look to the right, Ty Donner sign was smoking his joint.
I said, oh, man, I needed a minute.
I'm going to run with my parents.
Oh, my God.
Thank you.
We can smoke in Dre's.
I can light this up.
The guy that made the chronic.
Word.
I'm smoking with Snoop Sonny and all that shit.
This shit was crazy.
You know what I'm saying?
It was just dope though.
You know what I mean?
But hopefully them songs come out, man.
They for his album, the God's Country album.
You know, hopefully.
But you was just rapping how you regularly rap.
He didn't make you rap on some Christian shit.
He didn't make you rap on some Christian shit.
Actually, yeah.
For real?
Yeah.
See, I was just coming up with the words.
Right.
Like, I don't want to, you know what I mean?
Like, I don't want to say too much.
Right.
But I was just like, I don't know what I should be saying here.
I'm stoned right now.
I don't want to say too much.
Right, right.
Just say the stuff that I recorded was for him.
So it ain't going to be like me rapping it on his album.
Right, right, right.
I got you.
You know what I mean?
So I don't know.
Many of them niggas is good at being a rapper.
I don't know how to not,
you know,
I'm,
I'm,
I'm,
yo,
God helped me load up the semis.
God was with me
when I was bagging up.
Nah,
but on some G shit though,
I'm going to keep it 100.
And G is for God.
I'm such,
yeah,
G is for God.
I'm such a,
like,
like so high repressed
on like,
being,
doing my job, doing whatever I had, I had to came to do at best. So I was doing shit like calling people and talking to people who I know in the church
and like, yo, what's some stuff in the Bible?
You know what I'm saying?
I could be like, how can I, you know what I mean?
That can relate to how you rap already.
What can I talk about?
Because I ain't want to be trying to say stuff and I'm saying the scripture wrong or I got the meaning twisted or whatever.
So I was like, man, I had to study.
I had to get on my phone, scroll, Google, look at some scriptures and talk to people and get an understanding of that.
You know what I'm saying?
I know Bentley helped me a lot with that.
Like, yeah, when you're saying it like this, you want to say it like this, because this is how, what that, you know what I'm saying?
I'm thankful for that, because it made me more comfortable with writing lyrics for you.
You know what I'm saying?
Expand your pen, too, at the same time.
It forces you to write different content.
Some different shit, yeah.
But it ain't all, the funny shit is, it's not all churchy, churchy, just not cussing
it and stuff.
Right, right, right.
But he's still like
you know still talking that she's talking his shit right you show me it's a diner on there
i didn't hear nothing with designer on there okay. That's the only thing you thought about?
It's designer on you.
You're a chad, man.
Hey, chad.
You call a shooter?
You'll call a shooter back, man.
Let's talk about drum work.
Yeah, talk about the roster.
Love here with you.
Yeah, man.
Jay Skis.
I love the shit you sent me.
Yeah, yeah.
Rob Markman, incredible.
I'm just excited for them, what they about to bring to the table.
Like I said in my post, man, I think, man, they special, man.
They special.
And drum work, man.
I'm trying to, like I was saying earlier, man, I'm trying to make this shit the biggest and
baddest shit.
I'm trying to take this shit on some death row back in the day shit.
No limit.
I'm going to pop back to an actual powerhouse.
My main focus is really just getting them in a position I feel like they need to be
with this shit.
I feel like they're incredible and the world need to hear them.
So however it happen, whether it's with drum work or whatever, I think they need to be
out there.
You know what I'm saying?
So I just focus on just giving them all my resources, you know what I'm saying?
All my beats I get, whatever it is.
Like man, go kill that shit. You know what I mean saying? All my beats I get, whatever it is. Like, man, go kill that shit.
You know what I mean?
I just believe in them.
You know, they next.
You know what I mean?
So let's start with them.
You know what I'm saying?
I know I said From King to a God was the first album on a drummer label, but you know, they
shit coming after that.
You know what I'm saying?
They each got a ill album.
You know what I'm saying? And wait till a ill album. You know what I'm saying?
Wait till y'all hear that shit.
You think you would ever stop rapping?
I don't know, man.
Sometimes.
It's been happening lately a lot.
You know what I'm saying?
I haven't written a rap or fucked with no rap shit, no music since I recorded Stephon Diggs for the Deluxe album.
That was in December.
I mean, it's only been a couple of weeks, but it's like my mind is getting more and
more off of that shit.
I've been listening to Summer Walker and shit.
You know what I mean?
I've been trying to detach from that shit.
I be really questioning in my mind, damn. Is this the end of me rapping?
Like, have I reached my, you know what I'm saying?
I'm in here listening to, you know, SZA and shit.
You know what I mean?
They had no Valentine's Day plans, man.
Double down on it.
You know, I'm the ugly one in the group.
Damn, ain't nobody think about me, man.
You feel me?
You know what I mean?
Is that the consensus?
Put all that shit on your neck. They out there thinking about you, man. Shit feel me? You know what I mean? Is that the consensus? Put all that shit
on your neck.
They out there
thinking about you, baby.
Shit, hoes around
from they gonna try.
Well, why you don't say no?
You're not ugly.
I don't even wear
this shit around.
They been on
Get Your Ass Book
and Buffalo.
But wait, now,
being ugly never
stopped nobody from fucking.
Like, I don't think that...
Stop me from having
Valentine's Day, though.
They ain't saying
stop me from fucking.
All right. You got a point.entine's day they ain't saying stop me from fucking you know what I mean you got a point
you know what I mean
they just ain't trying
to be seen
across that
you know that table
while fucking with
you know what I mean
Popeye Jones
is crossed from
I can't let you
beat me
I'm not letting you
do that man
I'm not letting you
beat all that
but shit
we is not going
out nowhere yo Fetty not with him do that, man. I'm not letting you be the one beat all that. But shit, we is not going out nowhere.
Yo, Fetty.
I'm not with him.
Fetty had a run.
They were in trouble with this dude.
I'm not with him.
You ain't talking shit, man.
Nah, I'm not listening to this dude, man.
That is hilarious.
I don't have, I'm cool.
Yeah, I think we talked a lot.
I'm cool, man.
You have anything else you want to get off?
Nah, man. God don't make mistakes, man. That's the hour, man. Rob Markman, Jr.: You have anything else you want to get off? Nah, man.
God Don't Make Mistakes, man.
That's the album, man.
That's going to be the motherfucking pinnacle for hip hop, man, in the last two decades.
You know what I'm saying?
I'm working on this other shit.
That's what I was telling Maul.
I'm just about to get a nigga something else until God don't make mistakes come out.
I can't sit on no music, man.
I just want to figure out a way to get back in my bag and in my zone.
Right now though, we going to get Love and J Ski's, get them to where they taking off
and they shit and niggas is checking for they shit and fucking with they shit and while that's happening I'm going to be whipping on my next batch.
You know what I mean?
I hear that.
But God Don't Make Mistakes is done.
Incredible album.

Our beats, we gravitate to it.
On rap and how our shit be all over the place.
It might be 24 bars and no hook and talking or whatever.
A soul sample or something.
No drums.

My favorite element of being, you know what I mean?
And a rapper is performing live.
You know what I mean?
That shit you did on Tidal was dope, though.
Yeah, that was dope.
I ain't going to lie.
I know it's not the same, but- I was sick as hell.
I ain't had COVID, but I was sick as hell.
Like, I don't know what-
I thought I had COVID, but you know, they make you test before-
I had to take the test before I even did the performance.
Rob Markman, Yeah.
Lil Jon, So my shit came out negative, so I was kind of like, damn.
I was kind of relieved that I didn't have to have my Christmas fucked up with my kids
and shit, you know what I mean?
Rob Markman, Yeah.
Lil Jon, But I was in that motherfucker, man, sweating and shit.
Rob Markman, I thought that was just because of all the furs he was wearing.
Lil Jon, Yeah, it was.
That fur just was heavy for some reason.
Honestly, if you know, if you're watching that shit, I kept leaving the stage and shit.
Every time I would leave the stage, I had no shirt on and shit.
I was trying to get air and all that.
And then I couldn't smoke or none of that shit, so I really wasn't.
And then with no fans, that was extra.
I'm used to feeding off the energy of the fans.
Shit was different, man.
I got through that shit though.
Rob Markman, It was a dope show.
I didn't notice.
Yeah, yeah.
I watched it back.
I always watch back shit just to get a view from the fans and shit.
I didn't notice, but I'd be like, damn, motherfuckers know how, where I couldn't get no air really in my lungs and shit like that, man.
My throat was, you know what I'm saying?
It was like, I couldn't swallow.
Pause.
I don't know how I got through that shit.
I had like, just like drunk some more champagne.
Fuck it, man.
Shout out to AC3, man.
That's how it's holding my breathing.

It's Conley featuring Westside Gun, L-Holes
We'll play a song that for some reason reminds me of this place.
I mixed it
when the studio setup
was where the couch is now.
It's this guy
that used to rap.
He does a lot of talking now.
Talked a lot on this one too.
Yeah. Maybe it started with slaughterhouse, or was it tour life?
Maybe it wouldn't have started at all if I had your life
Maybe it was needed or was I thinking immorally?
If I wasn't myself, could I say I gave the fans all of me?
Can't decide if I'm more ashamed of what they saw in me
Than I am of ignoring all the lessons that was taught to me
Headed upfield but couldn't dodge the last tackler
How could a forward thinker move so ass backwards?
How could a dude with no regrets at all, willing to bet it all
Not realize that quick a demise, how could I neglect it all?
I'm so seasonal, some of y'all knew I'd spring back with a heart this cold
How'd y'all think I'd be receptive to fall?
I'm plenty comfortable when danger's around, and even more so when strangers around
And the bigger picture is sicker, don't know my triggers or know the alarmist forces
Don't know what, don't know my bouts of drugs or liquor or the harm it causes
Life or death, I tried to lynch myself Thought I could keep it all a secret
I convinced myself, but really
The folk that love me, they could tell I was low
And I couldn't see them cry me a river
Cause it fell in the ocean
Numb to my words now, maybe felt I was open
I cut so many people loose
Do I need help with devotion?
That's just some of the things I ask my Lord and Savior
And when he calls for me
Will he have done us all a favor?
How did I make it?
Who are y'all?
I feel so lost
Now I'm not seeing it clear
It's in my heart
It's all in my head Please, sit my phone
It's all in my head
I'm looking around like this can't be happening
Round of applause for the angry rappers
Lord, my girl cried me a flood, then me a river
That's love, depending on me when I'm independent on liquor
I'm up in the shoe store, she got no love to show
You ever look at a b**** behind your b**** back Like f*** I was f***ing UFO I'm an artist so I'm independent on liquor, I'm up in the shoe store She got no love to show, you ever look at her F***ing behind your back like f*** I was f***ing UFO
