And we spoke about it on Patreon briefly.
Let me let the Patronis know and the audience know that we will be it on Patreon briefly let me let the Patronies
know and the audience know
that we will be going on vacation
we will be going on vacation
September
it's two positive weeks
there we go
September 1st and September 5th yeah well those are the record dates so it'll be the 2nd So it's September. It's two positive weeks. There we go.
September 1st and September 5th.
Yeah.
Well, those are the record dates,
so it'll be the 2nd and the 6th.
Right.
Yeah.
So we'll be back that Friday right after that.
That would be the day. And I am free and available to feed to Patronis.
Hopefully you guys will be too.
When you get back from Portugal?
When you get back, you? When you get back,

Yo, bro, what's up with you, yo?
And you better report all the new money to the taxes.
Damn, son.
Yo, you what?
Wait.
You that kind of rat?
You that kind of rat?
Hey, that's what we are today.
You're not real.
We not a...
That's a different kind of rat.
You better report some.
Yeah, that's a different kind of rap.
That was different.
It apply to all y'all, too.
That was different rap.
I am talking to all y'all, too.
Ain't nobody getting no new money.
Hey, call with me.
When they call, though, hey, tell them to have your shit,
ducks in a row.
Quack, quack.
Because they going to know.
What was this $10,000 charge
that Elizabeth Allen lent you?
What?
Come on, Tory Lanez.
Tory Lanez has been sentenced.
Ten years.
Ten years.
He has been credited for 304 days,
which is not quite a year.
And that's where it stands.
That's the take.
He may have to do 85%
before he gets eligible for parole.
That's crazy on a state charge.
No, that ain't true.
That's what, yeah.
That ain't true.
I hope not.
They just say that.
I hope not.
Yeah.
Because I ain't no state,
I don't know nothing about California though.
But that's not typically how it works out here.
No, it doesn't.
How would that work?
Like for those who don't know?
Typically what would the
time be?
It ain't really a time
like in the state
of New York
and New Jersey.
It might be
over there
and again
use your Googles
I am not the expert here
and a little Instagram lawyer
took a break
so now we really
ain't got facts.
But 85% time and then they got programs in L.A.
So I think they got some fireman program.
They got all types of programs.
He'll be a fireman in three months.
He'll be chopping the trees down so fast.
He'll be smoking the bed.
Yeah, they got all types of programs
and good behavior where he's going to go in there.
They already leaked the information
to say he's saying prayers in the morning with the crew.
People with their hair lost. He'll do six.
He'll do six and a half.
Less than that.
He'll be on the half way.
That's the truth of it.
That's crazy. I was initially really shocked
by the 10 year we were
recording the Patreon.
And I was just
in shock because I'm a bitch ass
nigga. So, I mean, I know if I heard
that number and
spent two million dollars fighting
this, then I would
pee on myself.
We'll have another fight.
Lawyer right there. I'ma pee on him too.
Sit in his lap at least.
How my man did in that video when I went home
when I went home
and I started talking
to street niggas
they was all like
celebrating
they was all like
alright nigga
nigga do a quick six
do that stand up
be right back
bro that shit
fucked me up
oh shit he's facing 22 right
so I mean
to some degree
niggas be talking
I said this the other day
Niggas be talking about
Prison time
Like it's minutes
Like it's summer camp
Bro that's it
He only gonna do
Five sessions
Laying on my head
Nigga on my back
Nigga this is light
Go lay up for a minute
A minute
I don't care
How good
We look at minutes differently
My minute and your minute
Yeah we need something
I feel like the minutes
In there are a little bit
Longer too
Fuck I don't care How good them nachos is Y'all be grilling on the bed My minute and your minute mean something. I feel like the minutes in there are a little bit longer, too. Fuck.
I don't care how good them nachos is, y'all be grilling on the bed.
I ain't trying to do it.
I don't want no motherfucking grilled cheese with the iron.
I'm good, my nigga.
All right, so I will start.
I'll read Tory Lanez's address that he sent out.
To the umbrellas.
Dog, it ain't time for hives.
I see.
Or? I've never let...
No, because that's some of the...
That right there
is some of the problem.
It is.
You needed to be humanized.
Yeah, that's true.
I've never let a hard time
intimidate me.
I will never let
no jail time eliminate me.
Are you still rhyming, nigga?
Oh, you still got bars, nigga?
Oh, they gonna fry your ass.
I'll be pushing them tears
through that fryer.
They gonna fry you up, nigga. I'll be having them tears through that fryer. Fry you up, nigga.
I'll be having the tears on the page.
For real.
Regardless of how they try to spin my words,
I have always maintained my innocence,
and I always will.
This week in court,
I took responsibility for all verbal
and intimate moments that I shared
with the parties involved.
That's it.
In no way, shape, or form was I apologizing
for the charges I'm being wrongfully convicted of.
I remain on the stance that I refuse to apologize for something I did not do.
I faced adversity my whole life and every time it looked like I would lose, I came out on top.
This is nothing but another moment where my back is against the wall and I refuse to stop fighting till I come out victorious.
Tough times don't last. Tough people do.
fighting till I come out victorious.
Tough times don't last.
Tough people do.
I normally hate that saying because if that saying's being said,
we in a tough time.
Me hearing that saying,
me, oh shit, times are tough right now.
To my family, friends, and umbrellas,
thank you for your continued support.
See you soon. Sincerely,
Tory Lanez.
I think he smoked that shit.
I think he got into the real shit
toward the middle.
I wouldn't start it off
on no cool rhyme shit,
but I think it's sincere.
That's all he can say.
That's all he can say.
Okay.
Is there no appeals options?
There's a ton of, yeah.
He's going to appeal
and they're going to deny it.
Got it.
Okay.
I think they'll approve it depending on when he appeals.
He got to go sit up for a minute though.
They started the appeals process immediately.
As soon as the sentencing, they had an appeal ready.
And his lawyer is Jose Baez.
He's going to, I don't know.
I don't think he's going to do the full, I don't think he's going to do the full 10.
Even with the 85% kind of thing, I think it's going to be much lower than that.
But then there's also the deportation.
And then I wonder kind of like what happens to like his career afterwards.
Like do like the streaming services and labels.
He's lit.
Yeah, he's lit.
He's lit. He would be all right career-wise i think yeah career-wise i mean performance-wise you obviously probably
take a hit as far as not being able to probably come down here to do festivals and shit yeah and
you think that other countries will have like an issue with like his i don't think he was the
biggest festival act over here i mean i don't want to speak out of turn because those those
festivals are big bag even if you could one yeah but i don't want to speak out of turn because those festivals are a big bag, even if you could want.
But I don't think he was a main
stay. Even when he came out
in that shit that Meg had a problem
with, the baby brought him out. Rolling out.
Rolling loud, yeah.
Yeah, but it still
hurts. Even your own personal tours,
you can't. Dog, it hurts when I'm
away from home for five days.
You ain't got to tell me that nothing hurt.
I'm in pain for the man.
Well,
Hulu put something out.
Um,
I think it was ABC that has this segment called impact and it came out the
night,
um,
that the sentence,
uh,
that we all found out about his sentencing and it goes over the entire case,
like from like,
you know,
nuts to bolts beginning to end
with everything that happened in chronological order um it interviews people bun b was interviewed
um in it um and he talked about his support of meg and i feel like if there's people who have
any questions you know um about what actually happened what he was actually charged with and
why he was convicted of these charges that would be something you know that about what actually happened, what he was actually charged with and why he was convicted of these charges,
that would be something, you know,
that I would point people in the direction to watch
because it was really, really informative.
And one of the takeaways that I got from that
was in the moment that whatever transpired in that car,
Meg gets out of the car and her foot is clearly injured.
You can see it from the helicopter.
Her foot is bleeding and she's leaving like blood marks on the on the on the ground and what she
said was in terms of why she why she did not give an honest account of what actually happened at the
time is because this happened in 2020 when you know um blM is in full, you know, is in full movement and George Floyd
has been murdered. Tensions were high between black people and law enforcement. They are
surrounded by law enforcement. And so she has an enormous amount of fear that, A, they might all
get shot. And B, the fact of the matter is, is that two things can be true at the same time
is that a black man possibly you know or what was convicted of assaulting her with a weapon
but at the same time you understand what happens to black men in the custody of law enforcement
you know what i mean it makes sense so's like, can you imagine what it was like
to kind of live with that,
with that conflict in real time?
Not really.
Crocker shit.
You know, do you think,
you think?
It's a crocker shit.
You think so?
Yeah.
Okay, why do you think so?
Because, unfortunately,
I've been in a situation
where the woman
didn't want to see
the black man derailed
in the system,
so when the state
picks up the case,
the woman gets missing. Mm-hmm. She doesn't go to court. She don't go to court. The man derailed in the system. So when the state picks up the case, the woman gets missing.
She doesn't go to court.
The woman don't take the stand.
And then the case is over.
Then there is no case.
That don't necessarily make that a crock of shit, though.
It could just be at that moment,
I don't want to say these things.
I'm giving you my opinion
rather than have fact vomit right now.
My opinion is,
if you are
sincere in your sentiment
that you don't want to see a black man
derailed by the system and the police,
then you're not going to court. That's all I'm saying.
What if it was, I don't want to see a black man
possibly killed right here on the scene by police.
Not necessarily derailed in your career
and all of that type of shit. But we'll jam him up later.
We're going to save to jam him up.
But who thinks that? I'm not mad at that.
I'm not mad at that.
I'm not exonerating Tori.
He's played a large part
in why his situation
is what it is.
What I really think happened that night,
I think that's just,
I don't necessarily believe
that part about,
you know,
the police surrounding us.
We all could have been shot.
I think she really liked the nigga
and was trying to hold it down.
Okay.
She really liked him.
They liked each other.
She was trying to hold it down. All three of them liked liked each other she was trying to hold it down and now the bullshit he starts doing is like oh now you playing
the black live matter shit is publicist fodder that somebody made up yes that's what i believe
i will say i feel like it's both things i feel like there is care and there was care involved
but i think that the fear was real like and the only reason why I say that is because I've had my own experience with it, where I, and there's nobody around or somebody can get a trigger finger and, oh, whoops, it slipped or I was in fear for my life or whatever the case was.
I understand that fear personally from an experience I went through not too long ago.
So I
think she's telling the truth with that.
I do. The part that she
in that instant she thought that
some renegade cop
lets off a fucking round and
then everybody panics and
guns are going blazing and shit like
that and it ends up being a fucking massacre.
I believe her when she
says that that was a genuine fear. I really do'm more along with ice i think that um whatever the entanglements
are the three of them yeah oh yeah no that shit was messy played a part in how she initially
reacted i'm gonna just say this if somebody shoots you instantly there's a rage and there's an anger there to where you want that person punished.
I don't think so.
This is a man that's been shot.
Okay, let me back up.
Somebody could punch you in the face.
There's an anger there.
You know what I'm saying?
So when the police show up,
you're like, yeah, that motherfucker did it.
You get what I'm saying?
Like that motherfucker did it.
I think that that would have kicked in. I can't speak for for them i'm just saying i think that would have kicked in i don't
necessarily think you would have been thinking about his well-being right after he shot you
your own well-being yeah maybe like if if she and the girl kelsey were in immediate danger
you might have been thinking about that wasn't she backing up but then yes they made that we
saw backed up and all that stuff.
This portion has been unpacked for years on top of years on top of years.
I'm looking more so for y'all's reaction to the new news.
I don't like it.
I think 10 years is excessive.
Me too.
Me too, personally.
I think 10 years may be a little excessive.
But I understand why they gave him 10 years.
Like, we spent a ton of resources at the state of California.
And he made a mockery of the court.
He did.
Yo, listen.
He did.
When you have an opinion...
I think he made a mockery of the process.
You know what I'm saying?
Well, that's what I mean by saying the court.
Well, you turn on Canada fast, don't you?
I think a lot of people...
No.
When I wrote on Twitter that
I wasn't satisfied with the time that he got, the sentence was excessive.
And I was getting calls from people saying that, you know, they thought that I was moving recklessly.
But that's just how I feel.
You know what I'm saying?
I think that hearing the rumblings behind the scenes, the stories is different.
I mean, people are saying that Torrey should have just got on the stand and say,
I didn't shoot her.
Why he didn't do it?
Tomato, tomato,
we ask all these questions,
but when you hear these things,
when you watch how it played out,
I feel like the time is excessive.
See, that part is not
tomato, tomato to me,
and that's where I have a hard time
just getting my full
Torrey sympathy back.
If you didn't do it,
then what happened, nigga?
His lawyer told him not to. Remember, he wanted to take the stand. what happened his lawyer told him not to remember
he wanted to take the stand they said his lawyer advised him against it i think that i think he had
a really horrible job of representation i'll agree with that that's and that's why he ended up firing
him he didn't do it why he didn't i'm not talking about him taking the stand but then there should
have been a more comprehensive plan in terms of letting people know exactly what happened.
Not you alluding to Kelsey.
If it's Kelsey, niggas say it's Kelsey.
I don't want to hear all that holy damn shit.
And the fact of the matter is like in the, you know, in the ABC special, there's a text that goes out from Kelsey almost immediately after what's happened
and she says, oh my God.
We know.
You know.
Should we talk about that too?
I don't put no stock in that either.
You don't put stock?
But I don't want to get into all the Hulu facts.
Right.
Those facts,
you know how people feel about the facts.
He did a poor job
and people still don't know what happened.
That's true.
I still feel like I have no idea what happened.
Nobody knows that.
And for you to get sentenced
and still say, yo, I'm standing by
exactly what I said. I did not do this and I'm not
apologizing for that. A, I feel you. But what happened
then? And, but not just that,
when you have that stance,
when you sit in front of that board and you're not
showing no type of remorse or nothing, they're going to remember that.
Yeah. Yeah, and when you try to...
Like, you talking about, like, at
some point, you're convicted.
Now, you got gotta play the game
At least to
Try to get yourself back out
But if you gonna keep that stance
They gonna
Alright cool my nigga
If you didn't do it
You didn't do it
Alright so you
I know a lot of people
I know a lot of people
That went to prison
That
No matter how much time
They went to the board
And the board denied them
They say that they're still innocent
I didn't do it
Okay
So they're not going to,
because sometimes
they use that against you.
When you finally admit it,
they say, we got him.
He finally admitted that he didn't.
Some people may,
like it's a large few of people
that give in to the board and stuff
and admit to something
that they didn't do
just to come home,
but there's that small few
that stand on their square.
I didn't do it.
You're not going to put that
on my record.
And when I get out of here,
I'm suing you. That's what I'm saying. It's on your record now. Even if I didn't do it and I'm going to put that on my record and when I get out of here I'm suing you.
That's what I'm saying.
It's on your record now.
Even if he didn't do it
and I'm not saying
that that is true.
Got it.
But if he didn't do it
there's still one million
different spots
where he is responsible
for the outcome here.
I agree.
I agree with that.
It ain't even
it's not even about
it's not even about
the driver still never testified right? No. Like all of that. It ain't even, it's not even about, it's not even about.
The driver still never testified, right?
No.
Like all of that is crazy to me.
I think it's crazy that Kylie Jenner
wasn't forced to testify.
Yeah.
I do think that that's nuts.
You one of the only people
that was present
for the entire pool,
pool debacle.
Ordeal.
And you can testify
to everybody's mental state everybody's emotional
state and everybody's physical state when they left your house but that's big but Tory going
to court the whole time the whole time and it looked beautiful he got the suits on he got his
baby but the part that always stuck out to me was he had security with him that always stuck out to
me when he ran behind August Alsina had security with him clearly he there was a disconnect
in what security's job description is there was security there that night if y'all two was arguing
for as long as the stories say that y'all was arguing I couldn't do it shit if I argue with a
girl too loud now it's Corey come right out the room like you can't do that security is supposed to de-escalate if there's a firearm around why does everybody have access to it word that's a
fact that's a fact it's just a ton of mistakes that he made so i'm not going to exonerate him
when it comes but when it comes to security dealing with two celebrities like do they feel
like how do i how do i interviewas don't care about that, man.
They don't care about that.
Hell no.
That wasn't Meg's security.
That's my security.
That's my security.
It's his job to keep me safe.
Niggas don't care about that.
I didn't see security punch on.
You a celebrity,
make a fallback.
I mean, I'm looking out for you too, boy.
If it got to come down
to both of y'all fighting,
I'm rolling with the person
that's hiring me here.
There's way too many mistakes here. Hey, hey. Loosey-goosey with your dick. I'm not all for that. I'm going with mine. I'm rolling with the person that's hiring me. It's my responsibility. There's way too many mistakes here.
Hey, hey.
Loosey goosey with your dick.
I'm not all for that.
You fuck both of them.
Problems come when you fuck both of them.
That's true.
I'm not exonerating him for anything.
I ain't.
Ann was in the pool with your boxers with the third.
Yeah, you was trying to get that.
You was moving.
You was moving, Cat Daddy.
I mean, for real.
He was swimming with the fishes. Just one of the main reason i stopped fucking friends shit get messy shit get messy talk about
it you ain't even know one of the other people oh shit i know he's gonna stab her oh shit i
ain't even think you could stab oh yeah it gets disgusting it no. It gets nasty. It gets disgusting. It's too much.
He do need to sit his ass down, reflect.
Yeah, because he still walks up, like he said, he apologized for, what did he say in his statement?
For antagonizing.
Yeah.
You still taking no accountability for the night.
Well, he is.
I apologize.
He acknowledging that he antagonized the situation.
He acknowledged that the music and the stuff that he did
possibly contributed to him being sentenced
and it was a bad move
and it could have hurt Meg.
Mistakes, mistakes.
You made a lot of mistakes.
Compound, compound, mistake after mistake after mistake.
If you dealing with a rat,
if you dealing with somebody
that is looking to tell the authorities at your every wrong turn,
you can't put that lyric in a song.
And a lot of men have been there before where we go in to see the girl that
has a restraining order on us.
Facts.
We've been there before.
And somebody come tell us,
Hey dog,
she could jam you up
you playing with fire right now
and if the girl want to get
crazy then guess what you better stop
taking your ass over there
over there and period
you can't call
some niggas go see the girl
I'm not saying
you ever call
yeah come on
of course you call I've never had a restraining order from me No, no, no. I'm not saying. You ever call? What? Yeah, come on. Come on, man.
First, you call.
I've never had a restraining order put on me.
Oh, yeah, you pull one on.
No, I never did that.
I've thought about it before.
Oh, you're a real man.
Hell to death.
That's the other part.
The small part of me says, what if this is him trying to hold it down?
Oh, I think it is, to a degree.
I thought about that.
The things he's been alleging, that it may have been someone else, that sounds like he's holding it down or trying to hold it down.
If it's true.
If it's true.
I don't know.
Yeah, but you're holding it down for somebody who got an immunity deal.
Yeah.
You're holding it down for someone who's not holding it down for you.
I promise you, what I think is I promise you
What I think is
It was a bad job
Of representation
I think they tried to create
The reasonable doubt
In the courtroom
So I'm not going to say
It was you
But I'm going to allege
You're not going to say
It's me
But you're going to allege
That's going to create
The reasonable doubt
So I walk free
I think that failed
If I spend two and a half
Million dollars
I am Nino Browning
On that stand
No you're not But back to Ice's point That he always makes Is the charges again. I think that failed. If I spend two and a half million dollars, I'm Nino Browning on that stand.
No, you're not. But back to Ice's point that he always makes is the charges were the
charges. So it
don't even really matter. I don't think his lawyer knew the charges.
Yeah, the charges got nothing to do with her.
No, I keep saying that. The last
witness is what fried that
nigga's goose. Yeah, the guy.
That's what fried his goose. And that was
the defense's witness. That wasn't the prosecution's witness. Yeah, the guy. Yes. That's what fried his goose. And that was the defense's witness.
That wasn't the prosecution's witness.
That was the defense's witness
that they said they saw
sneaking out the prosecutor's office
when he wasn't even supposed to be there.
So I think the prosecution
flipped that dude.
Was it an unregistered firearm?
I thought it was registered
to the security,
but I could be wrong about that.
No, but when you read it,
it said no.
When we read the thing,
it said unregistered.
It said unregistered. The other mistake. That's what I'm saying. about that. No, but when you read it, it said no. When we read the thing, it said unregistered. It said unregistered.
The other mistake.
That's what I'm saying.
Even if, okay,
neighbor don't flip.
He don't say he saw you
shooting a gun.
You still got the gun
in your vehicle.
So that's one of the charges.
It ain't my vehicle.
Reasonable doubt.
Keep going.
Okay.
It's not your vehicle.
And your black people
are going to learn about
going to the white people
Kickbacks
Like
I mean what
I'm serious
There's gonna be people
Hopping up dead
Missing alligator
Eighth nigga
This done happened like
Nine times in the past
Two years
Hold on did you see
OJ's video
Parks and in
See I ain't go hunting
With that dude
We told you
Take your ass up that mountain
I wanted to go
But I wanted to go
They would have iced
your ass.
Keep playing.
You didn't realize.
You game, nigga.
You game.
Run.
Run, nigga.
My man,
Robert O'Neal,
let's get the
Osama Bin Laden dude.
He want to go hunting
with A-Burst, buddy.
I just don't know.
Yeah, dude.
You were going to be
Joe Sama.
I'm definitely not
going hunting
with a trained
A marksman.
Yeah, a trained killer A trained killer No thank you
Pass hard pass
Even though it would be tough
To say no to Kylie Jenner
You just left your little radio station
That's his other mistake
Nigga are you out here working
Or you're not
Cause you was working cool
Security radio interview You got that little text Your crew hit you saying come through Or you're not. Because you was working, cool. Security, radio, interview, blah, blah, blah.
You got that little text?
Your crew hit you saying, come through.
You got that little text from your lover?
Yo, we over here kicking it.
Take a lot to say no to that.
But I might say no to that.
When you leave there, come meet me at the Mondrian.
I think if I'm going to the generous house,
I'm leaving the unregistered firearm at home, though.
Right. You got the home, though. Right.
You got the security with you.
Right.
You leaving the radio station or whatever you was coming from,
so you might have had it on you.
We went straight from there to there.
But you got security.
Why are you paying for security
and still walking around with an unregistered weapon?
Like, what's the fuck?
Why are you paying security then?
No, I'm agreeing with you.
I'm just saying, but they had it.
I'm buying for security the same time.
That's what I'm paying for security for.
All they had to do,
hey,
who all over there?
I mean,
Kelsey,
damn,
studio.
Right.
Studio.
I can't go over there
if I popped both of y'all
and y'all don't know
and I'm going to try
to pop the white girl too.
Here's the thing.
The level of arrogance.
What?
I can't do that.
How old is he?
30?
He's 30 something.
He's 31, I think, man.
Yeah, 31.
So he's 28 by the time?
He going.
You can't go, though.
28?
28, you going.
The level.
20 what?
28.
No, 28 my ass.
That's your plan.
It's your plan.
You know that they don't know.
So now I'm going to try to get the-
The third?
You greedy-
No.
I'm trying to get the two on one fast break.
Y'all drunk.
We leave here.
We going to go get it.
Dog, stop it.
If I like white girls and we going to Kylie Jenner house, I'm trying to pop Kylie Jenner.
These little drunk girls can wait.
I don't know if he thought that that was going to kick off. We get to these drunk Houston girls later. They said
that Kylie was on him when he came in. He was going for them. Yeah, but he might not have been.
He might not have known she was going to be on him. I'm going for the crew. And they both. And
I pop off for y'all. I'm trying to get that. But when he found out, he found out. And then it was
dancing in the pool. It was ah. Well, from there it's, all right, now I got to get them out of
here. Whatever y'all saying I'm with you
Wrong plan
Take her home
This is your plan
No it was a good one
You plan
I don't think so
Take her home
They went home
He got
No they got
No they got kicked out
No
She was wowing
He told the driver
Take him home
No that's not what happened
Time out
Yes it is
She made up an excuse
To come back
She said I left my sandals.
He didn't tell her to go home.
They got put out of the home.
He had the driver take them.
Yeah, but they was gone.
They was gone.
But that gone is wrong.
If I'm fucking y'all two, and y'all are belligerent at Kylie Jenner's house.
One was belligerent.
Keep going.
If one of y'all is belligerent, and yall get put out and Kyle, she want me to stay.
What do you want me to say?
Then no,
there's no cool way to...
Come on, Ma.
Get your...
Come on, let me walk you
to the car.
So, of course,
come on, y'all.
We know too much about a woman.
Of course, she forgot something.
Of course.
Oh, yeah.
She beeped the seat.
So, there was no gone.
There was never going
to be a gone.
Yeah, there was no way
for him to stay there.
The comeback was not an accident. It was planned. So, she was not gone. The plan never going to be a gone. There was no way for him to stay there. The comeback was not an accident. It was
planned. She was not gone.
The plan was a mess.
It was a fucking terrible plan.
That was... Bad plan.
We wouldn't do that at no pool party.
That was thinking with your dick. Your dick
hasn't seen this kind of action ever in life.
Don't do that.
Don't do that.
Stick with Canada.
Hold on. I'm talking about Meg the fucking Stallion
and Kylie Jenner
and then the cute friend
that's what I'm talking about
they said he two for three from the field
they said he shot two for three from the field
I understand what I'm saying
this is his moment
what was it called
club quarantine
quarantine radio or whatever the case is his star, okay? He had, what was it called? Club quarantine? What is it that he was doing?
Quarantine radio or whatever the case is.
His star was like, through the stratosphere,
COVID was a good thing happening for Tory.
And so I feel like he just got a little high off the hog
and his, you know, his impression of himself.
High off the hog, man.
Yo, you and Ish aged this podcast 20 years.
I never heard of these fucking sides.
Oh, Jesus Jesus I'm cool
I think he was just
feeling the fuck
out of himself
a little bit
too much
and this led him
to making these
stupid
stupid
basic ass
decisions
involving
women
alcohol
high emotions
why did he think
that he could
control this
some niggas control it some niggas control it there had to be 50 of them alcohol, high emotions. Why did he think that he could control this?
Some niggas control it. Those niggas have controlled this.
Some niggas control it.
There had to be 50 of one of them niggas.
You hate it.
A 50?
You hate it.
You could have put 50 and Tory in the same category.
No.
No, I'm just saying some niggas control their environment.
Some niggas have more control than somebody who's younger.
Some niggas, it's just different.
Man, what's the stylist dude's name?
EJ.
Said that when he came back for the sandals,
my man was in the pool with Shorty with his boxers on.
He was two miles away from getting it off.
Yeah.
What are we talking about?
That's why I don't like the sentence,
because she hate it.
It's hate.
This all comes from...
And I'm not saying, he played a part.
He played a part. He played a part.
He definitely played a huge part.
But I don't like it
because it is birthed
from her hating.
Some bullshit.
Hate is hate.
He almost...
He was right there, man.
She was hating.
In the pool,
you know where it goes from there.
What, meaning that
he was about to smash Kylie?
Yeah, you know it.
I'm not disagreeing with that.
I'm not disagreeing with that. I'm not disagreeing with that.
We're not saying you hating.
We're saying that's hate.
Not you.
Oh, Meg was hating on it.
Whoever, whoever.
You said it, not us.
Whoever made that truck turn around and go back was hating.
For some sandals.
Fucking sandals.
And you fucking Meg this down.
We'll get sandals tomorrow.
I'll go get them tomorrow.
I've had chicks lead their entire life in the second bedroom not to see me again.
Hey, you forgot.
Fur coats.
Bags.
Hey, you forgot all these bags.
Hey, nigga.
I never want to see you again.
You keep all of it.
Give it to charity.
Put it in stores.
Sell it.
Give it to your mom.
I'm not coming back over there.
Facts.
She had to come back for some sandals.
Girl. Come on, man.
Okay, girl.
Anyway,
what do y'all think about some of the
reaction?
Or lack of?
I'm not shocked because
it's an emotional thing.
It's really a polarizing thing.
A lot of people
are going to ride with Meg.
Like,
she was injured
at the end of the day.
So you got to have
some level of empathy
and I think that's where he,
he should have just shut up.
But,
you got to have
some level of empathy.
So anybody that's going
to stand out
and support a Tory,
you got to stand out
knowing that.
That's the other spot
you fucked up at.
You were supposed
to try and get her back.
Listen to this. Dodo. Listen to this manipulative
Dodo head.
That's a good one there, boy.
That's a good one.
That wouldn't happen.
I'm not saying that.
I'm saying it wouldn't happen.
What do you mean? Rock Nation,
Rockefeller, rock and
roll can't stop nobody that's
trying to be together
Yeah they can
No they can't
No they can't
They've done it
Okay
Adam got them back
When they've seen
Warren
Adam got them back
When they
You didn't have
What she has
We had a perfect
We had a perfect example
Of what happens
When two star-crossed lovers
Who have a situation
A violent situation
Happened to them.
They try to get back together.
And how does that be?
And people lost their shit.
I'm not even talking about
people losing their shit.
I'm talking about that.
I'm talking about Rihanna
and Chris Brown
when there was the photographs
of them after.
Oh, God.
Oh, God.
Forget about who it is.
It's the exact same situation.
I don't know if they tried
to get back together,
but they 100%
tried to get back together. Yes, there was fucking pictures. Puff let them use the crib. Exactly. They went and tried to work it is. I don't know if they tried to get back together, but they 100% tried to get back together.
Yes, there was fucking pictures.
Puff let them use the crib.
Exactly.
They went and tried to work it out.
And then people started
fucking smashing Rihanna CDs,
like the outpouring of, like,
criticism for her
trying to go back
to her quote-unquote abuser.
Actually, I do like that example.
Thank you.
Because whether we know
or don't know publicly,
he got her back.
He mended that relationship.
That's a good one.
He fixed it.
That's a good one.
She loves him.
She acknowledges that we both wild out that night.
I fucked up and you fucked up.
You'll never reach the level of superstar that your ceiling has changed forever.
And that's punishment.
But I love you.
And it's right.
Which helped with the public receiving Chris differently.
Why it doesn't work with white people?
Meaning like Pamela Anderson.
What do you mean you disagree with that? If you have the biggest pop star in the world angry at you for the next eight, nine years
and kicking your back in
or speaking negatively on you,
how you don't think that would affect him?
It would, but you're saying that her,
I guess, not doing that helped him?
I'm saying that he...
It may not have fully...
Didn't fix it, but...
Redeemed him, but him But it helped him
Yeah
Okay
But I think with us
I think it's unfortunate
I mean like I said
I was about to say just now
Like Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson
That shit was nasty
He and them getting up back
And she was with him
They ain't destroyed
None of his shit
The white privilege
Is completely different
It's a whole different kind of concept
The internet wasn't
The full internet
Like it is today
Back then either
That plays a part Okay I'm just saying Bias Whatever the word is It's a whole different kind of concept. The internet wasn't the full internet like it is today back then either.
That plays a part.
Okay.
All right.
I'm just saying.
Bias, whatever the word is, it's nasty. It could be.
It could be.
It's nasty.
Some niggas get them back, and some niggas don't care how the fans react.
I can't think of a couple right now.
Some niggas don't care.
That's true.
We together.
We in public.
You can throw eggs.
You can smash my CD.
It's just when it comes with certain pressure.
Dog, if I love somebody.
And like Joe said, he got her back.
He said he got her back.
Yo, if you love somebody, dog, when you in love with somebody,
you don't give a fuck what the peanut guy is.
At all.
You don't.
That shit is white noise.
That's the way I push back on what Ice was saying.
When love is there, shit could get wacky.
Nigga, Eve said it, Ice.
Love is blind. I know that. I'm talkingga, Eve said it, Ice. Love is blind.
I know that.
I'm talking about, I don't know if they're handled.
I'm talking about when you're handled and they're not letting you do certain, yo, it happens, bro.
You disobeyed the handlers.
Okay.
What about that?
She wouldn't be the first entertainer to disobey the handlers.
It's like that strict fall that'll lock you in the crib, nigga.
You're going to find a way to get out.
Okay.
No matter what.
I don't know if their relationship was that deep.
You know what I mean?
Emotionally. It evidently wasn't. But, yeah. yeah that's a good boy them two liked each other they did they
liked each other absolutely yes if you don't her best friend you probably have a better chance at
some kind of forgiveness some type of mending agreed you made her angrier you made her angry
You made her angrier.
You made her angrier.
Right.
And then you find out now,
your brain.
What?
I hate when you say my brain for shit we've both been through.
No, but I never thought of that.
You gotta make it right.
What, you didn't think that
the fact that he fucked Kelsey
made Meg mad and maybe...
Nobody said that.
I'm clarifying what it is
you surprised that.
Does it make it right though? You're gonna walk home, girl. I'm clarifying what it is. You surprised that. Does it make it right, though?
You're going to walk home, girl.
I never thought of him getting her back.
But does that make it right, man?
Because I fucked your friend, you're going to put me in jail.
Does that make it right?
I don't think the two things have anything to do with each other.
She didn't put him in jail.
She did not put him in jail.
Semantics.
Does it make it right?
Just because I popped your friend, are you going to... Does it mean I popped your friend? Does it make it right Just cause I popped your friend Are you going to
Does it mean
I popped your friend
Does it make it right
He wouldn't have been in jail without her
That you getting your feelings
And go against me
And tell on me
Does it make it right
Because I fucked your best friend
Are you telling on me
Cause I fucked your best friend
Or because I allegedly shot you
Yo look in the camera
When you ask that
Yeah
Go ahead look in the camera
Well I can stand on my shit nigga
I know
Does it make it right
That I fucked your best friend
That I shot you No no no And fucked your best friend? That I shot you and fucked your best friend and you told on me?
No.
Yo, if I shoot you, please dig into the love bag that you have.
That's what you're saying, right?
No, if he shot her, he got what is coming to him.
Period.
I'm not saying that.
I'm not saying, and he played a major part.
I just want to make it clear
that some people hold it down
and some people don't.
And we should not make excuses
for somebody being mad.
I know how.
You're my best friend.
You're my best friend,
so now I'm a,
now I don't think
I'm right,
but then hold it down.
But you're right.
Some people do hold it down,
but if I'm going to give you
a reason to not hold it down.
It's fucking your best friend. Let me tell you me tell you what about fuck I know how I felt back when 50 cent and g unit used to go
to the radio station and read off everybody's sound scan numbers he never read mine but I
remember how I felt listening to him read the people that weren't doing the greatest. Meg was reading his chart position in the car.
Yeah, nigga, you peaked at 90, nigga, on the charts.
Don't fucking talk to me.
That nigga had smoke on him.
Why did you do that?
Nope.
I was mad.
I was angry.
The charts.
I didn't chart.
She lit his ass up in that car.
Yo,
I'm glad that everybody's all right.
I'm glad that there's finally some closure to this.
No,
look,
I gotta get up.
What?
You niggas need to learn how to be secure out there.
Put the blinker on.
You niggas need to learn how to be secure.
Your lady is going to say some shit trying to hurt your fucking feelings in the argument.
That's what they do.
That's what they do.
You can't then turn around and fucking put her in the jake, the snake.
You can't.
You can't do none of those things.
You can't shoot her.
You can't pistol whip her.
Yay!
You can't DDT her.
You can't do that.
You can't do none of those things when she says the foul shit that she's going to say.
And she's going to say the foul shit, bro.
It's coming.
Yeah, dog.
It's coming.
You can't.
If you fuck her best friend, you better be ready for her to say the foul shit when it comes.
That's all.
The charts ain't even the worst thing.
You know what I'm saying?
Headlines.
It's pretty bad if the person's saying it is number one at the time.
Beck was number one.
Beyond Snake Records.
Grammys.
You 97 on the chart?
Why you think you can argue with me?
Shut up.
For the rest of this car ride.
And I'm taller than you.
So you really got to shut up.
Man, I'm taller than you.
You should have went in there and said I was afraid.
That would have worked. Listen to shut up. Man, I'm told of this. You should have went in there and said, I was afraid. Listen to his brain.
That would have worked.
Listen to his brain.
Listen to his brain.
I was afraid.
She's bigger than me.
She got to it first.
You fucking right.
I grabbed her wrist.
Something.
Something happened?
Yeah, it went bad.
I heard a pat.
But I was afraid.
Nigga ain't but five for one.
Listen, man. nigga ain't but five for one listen man when I watch
when I watch
when I watch
the little Hulu doc
I'll come back
and sound more educated
on the matter
I'm glad that
Meg is doing better
I'm glad that
Tory has
finality
to his situation
and he can go sit up
and think about
what he need to do
in his life
and that's that
I don't know about Kelsey's
peace of mind, but hopefully she's well.
And that's that, man.
It is what it is.
Unless anybody has final words.
This has been here
for three years. Yeah, I'm just glad to see the end of it.
Be honest with you. Did you watch
OJ's video I asked you earlier?
What OJ said about it, the math is not adding up.
I didn't watch it.
I saw what he said though.
Who was he talking about?
He was talking about the,
was he talking about the football player
that got like.
OJ be on there talking about all types of shit.
He could have been talking about Tori.
Yeah, I thought he was comparing sentencing.
He was comparing sentencing,
but it wasn't Tori's sentence.
He was talking about his sentencing
for armed robbery and kidnapping nine years
yeah he got like what like nine to 33 years whatever that sentence was um but he was comparing
it to like this football player that just kind of got a convicted and given like four and a half
years or something like that i don't know i don't know okay or something like that i mean
i don't know if a lawyer could stop me from taking the stand
in my
defense of myself I don't know
cause I'm thinking about that OG
he took the stand they was fighting
they was fighting Johnny was like nah
we getting him up there we gonna put on the show
we get the glove we get the
I'm taking the stand in my shit
he took the stand he did
he was
it's different levels of lawyers Joe it's different levels of lawyers to my shit. He took the stand. He did. He did. He was.
It's different levels of lawyers, Joe.
It's different levels
of lawyers.
And it was the
Kardashian's father too,
right?
Nigga, they had
a dream team, nigga.
No, the Kardashian's
father just passed away.
No, but he was
the father.
He was an OJ.
Oh, you're talking
about OJ.
Sorry.
Sorry.
Sorry.
He had.
I know what I'm just.
That nigga had
Cochran, Shapiro.
And you feel bad for me like that?
You looked at me like it was pity
Flip again, Flip, you idiot
I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it
I just was looking for this
He's talking about Henry Ruggs
Oh, Henry Ruggs
Former NFL player Henry Ruggs
Sentenced to 3-10 years in prison
For fatal DUI crash
That claimed the life
of a woman and her dog and so he's talking about but I got nine to thirty three years for
retrieving my stolen items now you know who got a dream team uh I watched uh that's not why OJ got
that time anyway I watched the studio 54 doc when they went after the studio 54 doc dumb niggas went and got 37 of the
highest best biggest lawyers in the country really 37 of money talks bro
they wasn't playing the relationship Steve rebelling them What was the outcome? What was the outcome? They lost.
So the 37
didn't matter? No.
I guess it wasn't.
Or the penalty might have been more severe
had they not gotten them.
Could have been a little bit better for them.
Well, I know that they no
longer have Studio 54 anymore.
They got that shit right out of there.
You doing that on 54 Street?
Had to get them bedrooms
out the basement.
I got to watch this document.
Where is it at?
I think I watched it
on Netflix.
Okay.
It's old.
It came out in like 2020,
2019 or something like that.
Studio 54 couldn't exist today.
Why?
Cell phones.
Oh.
No, cell phones
would have to be in the back.
Yeah.
But then niggas would sneak some type of...
That dude had 300 or 300 Quaaludes in the safe.
He used to give...
Steve Rubell used to give them out as party favors at the thing
and had a budget set to side.
The Quaalude budget?
To cop.
Party favors, yeah.
If I'm giving this out for free,
this is my budget.
Tax write-off and shit?
70s and 80s, coke wasn't it.
Me and you would have been
the first niggas there.
Coke.
No doubt.
Free Quaaludes?
Expensive the Quaaludes is crazy, though.
Free Quaaludes
and Michael Jackson's walking around?
Ain't no Quaaludes. When I be downstairs with Grace Jones
And them holla at me when y'all finish
What?
I didn't know Studio 54 was like a gay bar
A gay club
I didn't know that
I didn't know that
Oh I didn't know that
Yeah apparently
And they didn't call it that
But Steve Rebell I think came out
As Studio 54 was rocking and people didn't know.
But that don't mean it was a gay club because he was gay.
I'm pretty sure in that disco era, there was all types of shit.
There was all types.
That was fluid.
That was sexual fluidity there.
That was the real fluid.
But the fly shit was the anonymity of the club for the stars.
So if you was like an A-lister like Sylvester Stallone,
again,
Grace Jones,
Madonna,
like these niggas
was in there
and you could do
whatever the fuck
you wanted to do
and it wouldn't get
out the doors.
That was the thing.
You know what I'm saying?
And I think that we
could never have that today.
I do think that there are
underground parties
and clubs
that are like
secret societies.
Especially in New York. For societies. Especially in New York.
For sure.
Especially in New York.
Where you got to sign
a little paper
and shit don't get out.
Michael Rubin's party.
Yeah.
We're going to let
this little bit of pictures
get out.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's it.
We controlling it.
Once we get off that balcony,
y'all come inside.
And now the party starts.
There's rooms all around
this motherfucker.
Speaking of scams,
so I was really sad when little tay
was reported dead i wasn't really familiar who that was i didn't know no it's a i'm familiar
with her from youtube okay and she was beefing with little white girl vicky she was actually
had some shit going on for a minute catch Catch me outside. Yeah, they was meeting up.
No, that's bad Barbie.
He's talking about, whoa, Vicky.
I'm talking about Vicky.
No, her and Vicky was cool,
and they were against the other girl.
Yeah.
But anyway, that's how I was familiar with.
Can you stop whispering on this microphone?
I'm sorry.
Unless you're going to speak with your strong voice.
I'm sorry.
I was saying sorry to Flip.
Okay.
Because he knows. know so that's how
I know about her I was really sad when it came across my phone that she had
passed away but I do remember that they used to like orchestrate shit every now
and again so I didn't really know how to take that.
And I remember the rumors of abuse.
There were rumors that she comes from a wild family.
This is all alleged.
Use your Googles.
That the brother was abusive.
That dad was abusive.
It was just a mess.
So when you read it,
that she passed,
it's like,
okay,
this is fishy.
Something happened.
Got it.
Yeah. But then the cop said, we don't know that she passed it's like okay this is fishy something happened got it yeah but then the cop said we don't know that she's dead we didn't get no call right yeah we don't have nothing
reported from nobody that she's dead then the agent said i wouldn't all the way believe that
she's dead because this is a very sensitive matter and then the next day they pop up little tape pops up
talking about me and my brother are not dead we're alive and we were hacked i was hacked
i don't buy this for one second yeah i don't buy this for one second that she's hacked she was
hacked now i've watched enough docs with the child stars to start getting some money and then the
family it'd be,
it'd get crazy if you come from a crazy family and now
we're getting a whole lot of money. So
I hope that she's alright.
I hope that it's not foul
play going on, but we need
some more information. We do.
Yeah. The thing that caught me about
her statement that went
out was her name.
Like they didn't use her name.
It was another name.
In her follow up
she's like my name is
Tay Tian or something like that.
The statement said her name was
Claire Hope.
That was a little weird.
It's weird.
If the cops feel like getting involved in this,
I would like to know who sent out that,
hey, she's dead.
From her family.
And her brother.
Yeah.
Said he died like the week before
and then now she passed away
and no circumstances.
It was, it's weird.
Very weird.
Yeah. I think the rest of 2023 is going to be weird. I think so too. Yeah, it's weird. Very weird. Yeah.
I think the rest of 2023 is going to be weird.
I think so too.
Yeah, I wouldn't put it past that.
Yeah.
It's giving weird vibes to finish the year off.
It's giving weird, like just looking at the way the public is reacting to people who are just.
Being themselves.
Yeah.
reacting to people who are just being themselves.
Yeah.
Like,
Tory put a statement out.
And I saw them flipping on any celeb
that just liked the post.
I mean, really going in.
I saw Drake liked it.
And then just like that,
everybody's like,
oh yeah, you're supporting an abuser.
You just like the post.
I think that's weird, like, to just jump on something. You don't even knowuser. He just liked the post. I think that's weird to just jump on something.
You don't even know what, I just liked the post.
He didn't come out, he wasn't at the trial,
he didn't write a letter saying anything.
I just liked a post.
Bigger than that, I think what happens
in this particular situation is
we really don't know what happened.
Exactly.
There's no definitive thing to what happened.
Kelsey, Tori, Meg, everything is mad vague, right?
So if you got a relationship with Tori Lanes
for the last 10 years,
and he's never been nothing but solid to you,
you're going to support him, yo.
He's going to jail for 10 years.
If he did it, he going to jail for 10 years.
People don't understand what jail is.
Yeah, if he didn't do it, you're going to jail for 10 years.
But I'm saying, yo, people don't understand what jail is. Yeah, if he didn't do it, you're going to jail for 10 years. But I'm saying, but yo, people don't understand what jail is.
That nigga needs support right now.
Not saying that she don't need support.
I'm not on one side or the other.
I'm saying both things could be true.
You know what I'm saying?
Meg needs to heal emotionally.
You know what I'm saying?
Mentally, whatever the case may be.
But my man's still going through some shit.
Yeah, Rallo just actually put out a long instagram post in support of uh who the nigga thug was beefing with lucci lucci and his post
was basically talking about i know that most of y'all don't give a fuck about lucci because y'all
ride with thug but jail is hard and just a glimmer of support from y'all would go miles for him.
I saw,
um,
I'll be out,
said something and he was just like,
I see all this support.
Everybody's saying free thug,
free thug,
free thug.
I haven't seen nobody say it for Lucci and he's the one who really stood tall.
Like they offered him a crazy deal to flip on thug.
And that's your app.
That's who I'm beefing with.
And he's like, nah, I'm not doing that.
I'm still taking my, he was just like,
it's just funny how we pick and choose
what we support versus not support.
If you stand for that,
you should be standing saying Free Lucci.
If you're one of those who believe in all of those rules
and stuff, he's literally playing a game
by every rule there is.
A lot of people's support or unsupport of street rules
are predicated by their fandom of the people involved.
That's true.
That's all it is.
That's the majority.
Street rules are not anything.
Two people that can do the exact same thing.
Who do we like more?
True.
Oh, we like him more?
Then he's right in this and you're not.
I almost cried in the strip club
when I seen Al Bial in there last time.
It was in Acapulco
and he was hosting.
It was his birthday.
And he came in looking good.
He was heavy.
They had a little section
over there
that was talking to me
and started with,
Joey, can't that section
deserve a nigga?
Shut up.
Well, anyway,
he came in there
and this is where
I just be so conflicted
because we come on this pod
and I'm like,
oh, street niggas, street niggas.
But he had so many niggas that I seen growing up that were small then that were men now.
And they were protecting them and they just moved militant.
And it was like, I gave some niggas a big hug.
Like, oh, I'm so proud of you.
I'm proud of you.
Like, you got a shot.
And that's all anybody
could ever ask for
in this thing.
I guess I condemn people
for getting the shot
and blowing it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
If there's one nigga
that ain't going to blow it again,
it's Alvear.
I don't think so.
I don't think so at all.
And that was just me
off on a tangent
do y'all have anything else
about the reactions
from Iggy and
Drake
Mario
Mario
they've been shooting
on Mario
I mean
you know
the letter of support
was supposed to be private
you know what I mean
that is nasty
that's crazy
it ended up being public
you know so now
you did you know you have to respond I pray everybody's crazy end up being public you know so now you did
you know you have to
respond
I pray everybody
gets to a space
where comments don't matter
yeah I agree
yeah
I pray that everybody
gets to that space
but also
when they're flooding
your timeline
they're flooding
your comments
when every minute
you turn
like it's
you have to turn
your phone off
a lot of us
depend on our phone
moving forward
that's true bro you can you can still depend turn your phone off. A lot of us depend on our phone moving forward. That's true.
Bro, you can still depend on your phone and turn that particular avenue off.
It's called the World Wide Web.
When shit get too hot in my normal places I visit, then I'm on Yahoo with it.
I'm reading.
It's somewhere else.
It's one of the places to go where I'm on Wall Street Journal.
What are these niggas doing over here? It's somewhere else. It's one of the places to go where I'm on Wall Street Journal.
What are these niggas doing over here?
I do not have to see the things that the commenter people type.
And if I got that much time in the comments and they bother me that much,
Instagram got the little restriction feature where the person still think they talking to you and don't nobody see it.
Like it's just ways.
Would you restrict?
If that really bothers you.
Would you restrict tens of thousands of people
no I would
no you would restrict
yourself at that point
I would just
I would just get off the app
for I would just take a break
it's alright
it's good
it's actually healthy
it is
excuse me
and I try to say things
where
I won't have to deal
with this blowback
I mean that was my main thing
with the ISIS Afrobeats tweet.
Not how he feels
about Afrobeats music
but blowback.
It's like why do I even want
to bother myself
with this shit right now?
I can keep my thought
in my head
and that be it.
Whatever.
Like I said people need
to normalize being able
to just
every now and then
yeah
every now and then
you niggas is weirdos
when I got my record deal
they thought I was the weirdo
boy they've taken weirdness
to another
fucking level
so listen to this here
we have a few people
that need to hang it up
okay
we do have a few people that need to hang it up. Okay.
We do have a few people that need to hang it up.
That sounds mean.
It does.
I'm already waiting
to see who the hell
you talking about
so I can start laughing.
I'm listening.
Are you waiting for me?
The list that's long?
It sounds like a long list.
It's got a couple people
Hanging up in what
Like
Just hanging up
Time to retire
Time to retire
And I asked that question
Before too
To Mel and Ish
I said
Who needs to stop
Performing on stage
Oh you said Mel
No no no
No apologies
This ain't a disclaimer
I'm the king of legend
The first hall of famer
Making diss tracks
I know you with that
Now everybody
Get ready for the kickback
Why you hurt, why you mad, now you look bad
Like a roach just crawled out of your book bag
You lack class, you lack class
You're the best with no sub, I'm the best with the backlash
The top five, you the pissedest on the floor
In the elevator of rap
Why you ducking on the game when you shit on my name
Why they put Pee Wee Herman in the Hall of Fame
I would give you a pound, but I break your hand.
I got the lawyer so white, he will take your land.
Yo, check your man coming.
I'm going to cut it off because I know some of y'all are listening in a car.
You're not even going to do that to them?
I'm not going to do that to y'all.
That was Melly Mel dissing Eminem.
I guess because Eminem dissed him.
Yeah, he's shooting back.
Because Melly Mel's been shooting at Eminem for a minute.
And then Em finally addressed just a lot of people who's been having something to say to him.
What'd he say?
There was a verse on his new artist.
I forget the gentleman's name, but there's a verse.
I ain't going to find it either.
Fuck that nigga.
Look.
But yeah,
M responded to Game.
He responded to Melly Mel.
He responded to
Generation Z.
Like,
just all the shit
that's been said
over the last couple years.
Easy Mill is the gentleman's name.
There we go.
Shout out to Easy Mill.
Shout out to Easy Mill.
Was his verse nice, Pox?
Was M verse going at them nice?
Yeah, I mean, it's modern M, so there's some dope lines in it, but then he goes rapping
crazy, which is what he does.
Got it.
Dog.
Respectfully.
Say it, Melly Mel.
It is Hip Hop's 50th birthday.
It is, yeah, it is.
And it's kind of fucked up you about to do this, so on the Hip Hop's 50th birthday.
Why is it fucked up? Because you about to do this. So on the hip-top 50s. Why is it fucked up?
Because you about to bury a nigga.

With all due respect, this should not happen again.

I don't like Lil Baby on the song.

Future comes in, he fits better.
I don't know how to explain it, but Future sounded like,
okay, this is cool. Future belongs here.
And then even Uzi, I wasn't mad at.
I just don't like Lil Baby on this record.
I don't know what it is. Future is better than Lil Baby.
Yeah, way better. And Don
is better than Utopia.
It is. Yeah. Way better.
Yes.
That's it. Oh, I was wondering where that one
came from. Just my brain.
Yeah, Don is better. For sure. Yeah, I made wondering where that one came from. Just my brain. Yeah, Donda's better.
For sure.
Yeah, I made a mistake and put Donda on after Travis shit.
Levels.
Don't do that.
Don't put Donda on after Utopia.
Or before.
I wouldn't even compare them two.
I'm telling you.
Oh.
Have you listened to Yeezus and Utopia?
No.
Try that. I'm not to Yeezus and Utopia? No. Try that.
Oh, I'm not a Yeezus dude.
I'm just saying try it.
I'll try it.
I'll give it a go.
But yeah, I'm not particularly a fan of this record.
The record or the baby's verse?
That fucks it up for me.
Got it.
It's just the opening verse on the song.
You know what I mean?
It's hard to even with me doing my whole, you know, it's just hard to on the song you know what i mean like it's hard to even with my whole

Get Rich or Die Trying is the best album ever made and Thriller's number two?
He said that when 50 brought him out?
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
So that's our new thing now.
Lie.
If you bring me to the show, I'm a lie.
I'm a lie for you.
Get Rich or Die Trying is a great album.
It is.
It's a masterpiece.
Nobody said that, Flip.
I'm just saying.
I can see.
Not better than Thriller, but it's not better than Thriller.
Great Richard Dodd-Tryon is not the greatest album ever made.
It's not the greatest rap album ever made.
It is to me.
OK.
So why you didn't go?
I didn't die trying.
But I'm bummed.
Not yet.
You should give us some time.
You could just let that shit slide for us.
These niggas be lying at these shows, boy.
But I ain't mad.
I probably lied too.
Yeah, you got a stage.
You got a lot of the crowd.
Yeah, I would lie too.
You love Fifth too, so yeah.

That's all it is.
Yeah, I don't hold it against Khaled.
We know he's going to give us something on this album.
I have been listening to Raheem's Project
that dropped last night.
But If I'm Honest is the name of it.
And it's 11 joints, quick 34 minute listen, and it's heat. Don't take my word for it. I'm probably going to play Sleep name of it. And it's 11 joints. Quick 34 minute listen.
And it's heat.
Don't take my word for it.
I'm probably going to play Sleeper from it.
But it's so much heat.
I'll play another one now.
I've been gone for weeks.
Trying to take it easy on me.
Living when we speak about heat.
Shining under heat.
Looking for peace.
New friends.
New pets.
New whips.
New girls.
New ass.
New tits.
I never switched on ya

For me it's right up there with the what I'm braving doing what made it did
this song is called outside freestyle again that Raheem project is called it's called but if I'm honest, I'm with two eyes.
It's heat. I'm getting that right now.
I've been listening to it all morning.
I'll probably play a sleeper from the project, but really good project by Raheem.
I'm getting that right now.
That's all I have for music.
Seemed like a quiet day for the most part.
Couple other drops, but quiet.
What's been the song of the summer?
That's a good question.
You know what's been the song of the summer.
I know what you and I think the song for the summer is.
Clip that.
Clip that.
I don't know if that's universally recognized that way yet.
What is it?
Well, Burner Boy, the Taliban's record.
Taliban.
Hey.
And Burner Boy just hopped on it.
He hopped on it.
They didn't put it out yet, but I think I know.
No, it's out.
It is out?
The Burner Boy Taliban?
Ooh.
I'm going to get it if it's out.
Once that circulates, it might officially be song of the summer.
When they come on, they come on.
Ice said that song don't do nothing to him.
We don't need to pick on Ice.
We don't need to pick on Ice. So't need to pick on Ice So you're right

If you out with her, she don't stand up and start whining on you.
Oh, my Lord.
Don't drop off, yo. Now this what you needed to do Capella Gray.
His album dropped in two weeks.
Who?
Burner Boy.
Oh, yeah.
And this is on there.
Oh.
Wait, what?
His new album called I Told Them drops in two weeks.
And this song, that's Taliban's too?
What, Taliban's?
Yeah.
That's on his album.
I'm never a fan of people doing that.
I'm never a fan.
Giving away the heat?
Yes.
To the biggest artists in the world.
Oh, sorry.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of when that happens.
I think if you made the heat, go work it.
If Burner Boy is on it, that should be yours now.
But, I mean, unless you're not paying for it, he did it.
I don't know the business.
I don't know the business in it.
And as an artist, you never turn down that look.
But I never remember that going right for somebody.
Designer and Kanye, I was vehemently against it.
Vehemently against that.
Yeah, I remember that.
There was another one I was vehemently against. What if the song was... Vehemently against that. Yeah, I remember that. Yeah. There was another one
I was vehemently against.
What if the song
has been out?
Oh, Drake on Fetty.
Against it.
My way.
Look what happened.
All I gotta do
is put my...
Look,
you stop playing
my record now.
You stop playing my record.
I put my artist
on the second verse.
I was shopping at a verse.
This was my hit.
Oh, you got to do it.
You got to do it.
God damn.
Can't do that.
Come on, come on.
You're not doing that at all.
Who told you to do that at all?
I like all my S's with two lines.
Oh, lost the bounce.
Lost that verse.
Oh, you sent it?
Oh, I never got it.
What email you sent it to?
Damn, shit crazy.
Damn.
I know you killed it too.
I know you probably killed it, son.
Damn.
It's too late.
We already put it out.
When he did that, they played his verse straight all the time in the club.
A lot of times, they went straight to Drake verse.
No, that's what they played.
That's it.
No, you ain't doing that to me.
Now, I got to step in the DJ booth.
Yo, dog.
You made a mistake.
Run that back. You cut me off. Oh, you got the wrong version. That record was fire, Yo, dog. You made a mistake. Run that back.
You cut me off.
Oh, you don't have that?
You got the wrong version.
That record was fire, though, Joey.
But you're supposed to say no.
Jeez.
For him putting it out on his album?
I understand that.
I'm just asking.
I'm just asking for more clarity.
Nuts to people, and it's a hard ask to turn down.
Mm-hmm.
I just don't.
Give me the time where it worked out.
Where's designer now?
Jerking off.
Fighting more charges.
You can't jerk off on the plane.
Vaseline fell out of his pocket.
What the fuck is wrong with you?
Why are you jerking off on Vaseline?
That point too.
And I told y'all he was lying.
About jerking off?
No.
About I'm not putting on no more music.
Oh, he's retired.
Retired and all this other shit.
He done dropped four records.
Just dropped one last week.
He keep dropping them.
Well, he's got legal.
Wait, is he on the list?
He's got legal bills now.
Is he hot?
Is he on it?
He been on the list.
Is the records he drop hot?
No, he not on the list for me.
If he come out with some heat, I'll support him.
You talking about the no fly list?
No, the hang it up.
He might be on that list.
I think Mims is the only one that made a hot record and got him out of there, son.
He's the only one.
He's the only one.
He's not the only one.
There's a bunch.
No.
There's a bunch of people that made a hot record.
No, made a hot record and just stopped.
Oh.
Well, do we know that he stopped or just nothing else ever caught?
Nah.
Did he stop?
I remember he was going through some real shit when I was trying to fuck a girl
what was that?
he was trying to fuck a girl? who was she?
yeah
oh Jesus
oh Jesus
he's a dirty dog
you ever go back and look for somebody from like 20 years ago?
trying to find them, trying to type their whole name in Instagram
nope, never did that before.
Trying to type their name with some underscores.
A dot.
Too late.
The real.
Too late.
The only.
The only.
This nigga is a fool.
Officially.
Hey, hey.
Oh, sorry.
Sorry.
Touch a nerve?
Yeah, man. Relax. Catch a nerve? Yeah, man.
Relax.
Catch him on LinkedIn, I heard.
What else?
You got to know their real name.
That's what he...
I was looking for a girl.
I'm going to say it, too.
I'm going to say it, too.
I was looking...
Not no time recently.
Got to clear that up.
My girl's the feds.
And if she don't catch it, the fans be right there with her.
You know that this girl chose her to the podcast that he fucked the shit out of.
Shut up.
I was looking for a girl.
They were Susan Justice.
You will never find Susan Justice.
And when you Google it, mad lawyers come up.
Mad white girl lawyers.
I'm talking about Susan from LES with the ass, nigga.
Niggas ain't seen ass like Susan had ass, boy.
Where she went?
I wish I knew.
Why?
She never let me beat neither.
Okay.
AA's looking her up?
Yeah.
There's no way you're going to find Susan Justice.
There's a bunch of white lawyers
After you search that you type minus law
It filters out the word
Lawyer law anything beginning with L-A-W
Filters it out of your search results
Oh that's my night thing
I'ma find it tonight
You gotta know how to use the search strings
I'ma find it tonight then thank you
Thanks Ice
Can y'all put your phones away?
Look at y'all niggas.
They're just thirsty ass niggas over there.
Trying to be helpful.
Wild horny.
Wild horny.
Wild.
That guy's crazy.
Susan, what up?
What else?
What?
Hey, Susan.
What are you talking about?
Hey, Susan.
Oh, man, yo.
Oh, shit.
Yo, y'all got up here
twin etiquette.
Can somebody break this down
for me, please?
Yes.
So I was outside
talking to Joe and Parks
and Joe said that it's impossible
to buy something for one twin
and not the other.
I said, well,
sometimes it's a badass twin
that you don't fuck with,
fuck them,
and you can just buy
for one twin.
Joe said that's impossible.
Joe said you cannot buy
for one child,
if they're twins,
one child,
not the other.
So,
I disagree.
I disagree.
If it's not my kid,
personally.
Not like birthday or nothing,
just like I'm just getting
something just to run.
I look at it as
just getting something.
Birthday is different.
I'm not talking about birthdays.
I'm talking about
just getting something.
Let me ask you a question.
Fuck that other twin, nigga.
Look, so if it's three kids in the house,
one of them bad, you just buy two of them ice cream?
Yes.
Oh, yeah.
You got to learn.
You got to learn.
That ain't going to go smooth.
It's not about...
You're going to learn.
You're going to learn.
I want to be educated.
They'll educate you.
It's not about what happens after, the consequences.
No, it's about initially, people may, I've seen it.
Is it right?
No.
It's one of them badass kids that don't, because if he do something bad, you're going to punish
both of them?
No.
No.
Obviously not.
I'm going to punish the one that did something.
That's what I'm talking about.
Joe?
But we're not talking about doing something bad.
We're talking about rewarding.
Rewarding.
You can't reward one twin.
So if it's just one kid
in the house,
you just don't fuck with him
even if he's doing something good?
But that's you
making this scenario
into one twin is bad.
No, but we know
a lot of one twins.
In my conversation,
it's just twins.
Got you.
Yeah, you said that.
Nobody's bad.
Yeah.
I was talking about how
shit is expensive out here and all of the kids I know is cracking my ass. Like. I was talking about how shit is expensive out here,
and all of the kids I know is cracking my ass.
Like, I got twin brothers, I got a sister, my girl got twins.
They back to school over there.
So it's like, it ain't.
Like, I don't think I ever went to school in a pair of Bo Jacksons.
Maybe once I had to save up.
Like, my mom had to save and give me the Bo Jacksons.
These niggas was going.
Oh, you a spoil.
No, I wasn't. You see what they're doing in school today? I ain't had no Bo Jacksons until I started getting street money. I had an save up. Like my mom had to save and give me the Bo Jackson. These niggas is going. Are you a spoil? No, I wasn't.
You see what they're going to school in today?
I had no Bo Jackson
until I started getting street money.
I had older brother.
Nigga, you see what they're going to school in today?
No, that's what I'm saying.
Them shits cost money, man.
They got Amiri and Dior sneakers on.
Yes.
They are.
They do.
In middle school.
Tommy and Polo and shit like that
was like the expensive shit.
My mother was like $55 for a shirt, boy.
Yeah.
What?
These little niggas got on $550 shirts.
Yes.
Well, scamming is a big thing in high school.
I'm talking about the middle school, the high school.
Yeah, this ain't even high school yet.
Like, dog, that shit is crazy.
Scamming is a big, big thing in high school.
Them little niggas is on it, so.
But I get it.
What, the CPM?
What do they need?
What do they need to own? I don get it. The CPM, what they need? What they need to own?
I don't know.
The CPM, right?
I'm not answering that.
But scamming is big.
You never did
the CPM shit?
Hmm?
I tried to scam
with my Gucci caddy
going on fire.
Yo, Mel, come on.
That was the karma?
I'm sorry.
I got two laptops
from Roosevelt Field Mall.
I'll never get it.
As soon as I got in the car,
I was on the Belt Parkway.
That shit,
I never scammed again.
I went to check.
I got my money for it.
I went to check out.
Never again
because I ended up
spending a lot of money
to try to fix it.
That was that fake
leather rag on the top.
It was not.
The pincher caught on fire, not the fucking back.
Yo, but no, that's crazy.
You want some twin shit?
You can't do that to kids.
It's hard to do just one kid in the family.
Yo, dawg, that's the name of the shit.
A video went viral like that.
The kids will remember that.
I'm just letting you know.
I remember a video went viral with a man.
With a McDonald's or some shit? Yeah. I don't believe in that. The kids will remember that. I'm just letting you know. I remember a video went viral with a man. Oh, with a McDonald's
or some shit?
Yeah.
I don't believe in that.
I'm just talking about
I'm gifted in the,
you know,
but like Joe said,
I understand what you're saying.
Yeah, you can't do that.
I got it.
Okay.
Yeah, you got to buy them all.
Hey, that shit going to add up too.
Word.
Shit is going to,
these kids is not cheap.
I have a question, man.
I'm going to ask you a question.
No, no, no.
Don't roll your eyes.
I'm not.
I'm ready.
I'm getting ready.
I'm getting ready. I'm getting ready.
What type of gifts do you buy your friends?
It depends.
I'm like...
I thought you had something juicier than that.
No, it depends on the person.
No, I'm just saying, no, because you're the type of nigga who say you're going to buy
all of us ill-ass colognes.
I remember when you said that.
I kept it in my Rolodex, right?
It's your nigga.
He ain't afraid to give money.
Boom.
I don't know about Iceman.
Fuck that nigga
because he called me queen.
Pox, I don't know.
Mel.
I like to customize
the gift for the person.
You making handmade gifts?
No.
No.
I know everything
that Mel said
she was going to do for us
before she lived up here
has not happened.
Facts.
I still ain't heard
the mac and cheese yet.
There hasn't been one invitation.
It hasn't been. You just lied to get the gig and cheese yet. There hasn't been one invitation. It hasn't been,
you just lied to get the gig.
Oh, shit.
That's not,
don't do that to her.
It's true.
Even if it is,
that's not nice.
She told us,
we was getting potato salad.
Yeah, balconies.
She was going to cook it.
I heard,
yeah, I heard.
Wait.
We're going to have a shindig.
But she's the Pilates instructor, man.
Instructor.
I have been,
I did not take the apartment
with the balcony.
Remember,
I had like the, I remember telling you guys, I had the huge patio. I didn't take that apartment with the balcony remember it had like the I'm selling you guys had the huge
Spaghetti Fucking balcony go to Yonkers. What happened? Touche. No, go ahead, though. Busy with the spaghetti straps falling.
No, touche. No.
I don't fuck with you, though.
Busy with the straps falling.
Because, like, I just got hate in my blood for you today.
Every time these motherfuckers come on your balcony.
This is how you start your comedy bit.
I'm ready.
No, it's not comedy.
Every time they come on your balcony, they are wild and odd.
I hate that.
Like, them niggas can't
hate these niggas.
I'm watching niggas right here
while we party.
The nigga like, wow.
No one reading them.
I'm watching niggas.
I was standing in the kitchen.
Oh my God, wow.
I don't like that, nigga.
That's hate.
That's corny.
I want to walk out there now
talking about the balcony.
They got that little
fine white girl out there.
There's a fine white girl
that lives somewhere in here.
Is she at the pool?
And you be talking to her
over the balcony?
No, no.
She move her chair
when I come down.
She don't stick around.
But she down there though.
I seen her.
Nah.
Respect.
Yeah?
Word.
Word.
Nice little piece of it.
This is one of those.
She's nice.
She's clearly a model.
Everybody like,
ooh, la, la.
She's clearly a model. She's clearly a model. It like, ooh, la, la. She's clearly a model.
She's clearly a model.
It's respect.
I'm with Parks.
It's respect.
It's all really pretty.
What else happened to music?
What else happened?
What's going on out there?
What's going on out there
that they need to know?
Are you going to talk
about your man,
Trenton, or no?
Who, at?
Yeah.
Y'all can talk about it.
I don't have nothing to say about it.
I don't condone or support nothing that actually he said about none of the people he was talking about.
Okay.
That's my statement.
Y'all got something to say about at rant about Erykah Badu?
I didn't like it.
Oh, you didn't like it.
Yeah, I didn't.
I didn't.
It's just disrespect.
Like, there's levels to disrespect.
And I understand, like, you don't really get to pick and choose how somebody replies to you.
True.
Because she shot at him first.
And I guess he held that in until he was ready.
What do you call somebody that does that?
What you mean?
That when you do something to them a long time ago, they hold it in.
And as soon as they have an opportunity, they let you have it.
They harbor the feelings.
What do you call that?
That's not Napoleon.
How long ago was that?
Five years.
That was my question.
It was a minute.
About five years.
It was a minute.
Holy shit.
Okay.
I mean, some people,
I don't know,
not necessarily saying that
in this case,
but some people are strategic
with their replies.
Respond.
That's a fact.
Just because you said
something to me today,
I don't have to address this right now.
But when I'm ready, I'm coming now. And I don't think that was a situation here.
I just I'm just not with the things that were said. I like Erykah Badu's clapback.
What does she say? Well, you know, she sells the incense, the incense that smell like a pussy.
So it was a new box that had Tom
and Jerry the guy who does she call him Jerry Jerry Thomas the Train whatever
she called him was on the box and he had a Livingston chain on which is ax name
with the instant in him because he kept talking about a pussy mmm she sold out
I said thousand boxes I think she said really she fell out every time she do what
you sold out the first time but I just like that response got it were you disappointed
you people hit me asking fax number I didn't give it to him so you guys just yeah stay out
of that got it shots of the people that do that too yeah they stay out of it yeah stay out cuz
I've gotten phone calls from other people like,
yo, such and such is hitting me for your number,
but I don't move like that.
I ain't.
Yeah, I don't do that.
Just letting you know that they are trying to get your number.
I'm like, all right.
I don't support nothing that Ack said,
but I'm also not the guy calling him to express my dismay with,
nigga, you grown.
Do what you do.
Do what you do.
That's that. I don't like niggas that give out numbers. I was just saying that to you do. Do what you do. That's that.
I don't like niggas
that give out numbers.
I was just saying that.
Niggas do that.
People do that.
Niggas do it.
Niggas will do it.
That is so nasty.
And in my mind,
it's like,
where's the respect for me?
Do you fear this person?
Like,
how can they pressure you
to give,
how can they pressure you
to give them my number?
That's a good point.
Or give them anything. You start to think, you start to think like, damn, this nigga made you give him my number? That's a good point. Or give them anything.
You start to think like, damn, this nigga made you give him my number.
What can he say to you to make you give him my number?
I be flipping.
I don't like that shit.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of that.
Always got to ask first, yeah.
You have to.
Even if it's something good.
You have to ask, yo, this is true.
It don't matter what it is.
I guess people have a hard time saying no.
Or people have a hard time letting somebody down.
Or making somebody feel like, yo like let me get Park's number.
Man, these niggas be pussy.
Let me ask them.
That's really it.
Hold on, let me ask them.
The right nigga
asked for the number.
Niggas be scared to say no
and they'll give him.
Yo, nigga, nigga asked me
for somebody's number recently.
I was telling Joe about it.
I ain't.
A hundred percent of the time
I'm not giving anybody
the number unless I check
with that person first.
A hundred.
I don't give a shit who it is.
Even if somebody say put me in touch with this,
like, even if it's on some good shit.
Y'all passionate about this.
I've had two artists, I've had two rappers,
like, wanting to work together.
It was like, yo, I'm not saying their name,
but like, yo, you can get me in touch with this nigga.
And I'm like, I could have been,
I know he want to work with you.
Could have just shot the number.
No, yo, dogs, such and such want to holler at you
You trying to do some music
Word
Set that up
Cool
Now that I got the okay
There we go
You just don't give nobody
A number out

It's not bad nigga What you talking about Don't let me get at this nigga. I brought the change back. Yo, sending to the store is not bad, nigga.
What you talking about?
Don't let me get at you right now.
Repeat your sentence you just said.
You were never the young guy in the group?
No.
Yeah, I was.
That's what I'm talking about.
Like, yo, go to the store.
Like, sending to the store is not bad.
I don't think it's bad.
Nigga would say, if niggas is outside doing something,
yo, go to the store.
Here, take the car, you go to the store.
That's bad to you?
See?
You look down on that?
What the fuck?
Can you answer me?
Can you talk, nigga?
I'm trying to formulate my sentence
because you're my man
and I want to be as respectful as possible.
Nigga, you ain't need that much time
on Need to Know.
Yes, I do.
Need to Know gave me a room to speak.
You know what I'm saying?
Oh, shit.
Wait, what?
Whoa.
Hey, I'm going to throw this laptop at you.
Need to Know, I ain't.
You know what I'm saying?
I need to know.
Room to speak.
They gave me a platform.
This nigga going to do one four-hour speaking engagement.
Now, yo, can I have the room, please, to speak?
Niggas act like they come off the fucking porch running.
Nigga, you got to walk and crawl before you come off the porch.
That's true.
So if the older niggas outside getting money,
hey, yo, TJ, I got, hey, go to the store, get some stuff,
and give me a- TJ, why didn't they call you Flip? Why didn't they give me Flip when I getting money, hey, yo, TJ, I got, hey, go to the store, get some stuff, and give me a-
TJ, why didn't they call you Flip?
Why didn't they give me Flip when I got older,
but my name was TJ?
So your real name was going to the store?
TJ?
Hey, brother.
Hey, yo, little nigga, get yourself a push pop, man.
All right, no, here.
Hey, get yourself something nice.
Hey, get yourself some lollipops, nigga.
That's the hot top.
You went to the store mad top for girls, I bet you, right?
Huh?
Can you go to the store for me, Ishmael?
All right, here's my new question for y'all.
When did y'all learn, and I'm not trying to play y'all.
This is actually a serious question now.
When did y'all learn.
You know what that means?
Bullshit coming.
No, no, it's not.
No, I'm not trying to be funny now.
I agree it's here.
Well, I just had this thought randomly in the house.
I wanted to ask y'all.
When did y'all learn that your generation in the family was no longer the wild generation?
When did you learn that your nephews and younger cousins had taken over the streets?
It was important.
And I can't even really
get into this
the way I want to get into it.
When did I learn
it was the moment?
Nigga.
I learned that as a grown man.
One of the spots for me,
I've said it on this podcast
a bunch of times,
is when my two little cousins
went and robbed the store
and took all the scratch-offs
and scratched them off
in one one
and then brought it back
to the store.
To claim it.
Yeah.
That's when I knew,
oh, y'all got it.
Y'all got it.
Then there's some other stories
that always start with,
you remember little son?
Yeah.
That nigga just killed.
Yeah, when you start hearing
them stories, that do it. Wait. Yeah, you used Lil' Son? Yeah. That nigga just killed him. Yeah, when you start hearing them stories,
that do it.
Wait.
Yeah,
you used to babysit.
Yeah.
Well,
keep him away from me.
I ain't a baby no more.
You start hearing those.
That's what really do it.
When you start hearing
the nigga that was
the little nigga
is now doing.
Is now your protection
card on the block.
That part.
Yeah.
Your old ass,
whatever you used to do,
you not even, you can't you used to do you not even
you can't come over here
if you not
your cousin's cousin
he ain't lying
it's just
outside of family
even little niggas
from around your way
you know it's true
like nigga I used to teach you
how to make a layup
with your left hand
he got six body
what
he came home from 12
you like what it has been 12 years I ain't seen a little nigga in a long What? He came home from 12. You like, what?
That's been 12 years.
I see a little nigga
in the long, yeah,
nigga just came home, nigga.
Nigga come on,
beard down they stomach.
I just thought that was funny.
It was a funny thought to have.
That's hood tales.
What else is important?
What else is important?
Anything coming this weekend?
Are we missing something?
We did music.
We did concerts.
The original. The original.
We did the fake death.
We're going to pour one out for the 4040?
Yeah. The original 4040 location
is closing down. They're moving.
They're moving.
Lots of memories. I would have
really cried if it was no more.
Yeah, I thought, the way I read it, I thought it was no more.
Yeah, I thought it was finished.
They're going to move somewhere else.
They're going to reopen in the city.
40-40 is beautiful.
Still a lot of memories there, though.
That's true.
In that location.
Yes.
Jay still got a hand in that, Joe?
Yeah, it's Jay's.
Okay.
Mm-hmm.
I'm just telling you.
Yeah, that shit attacks right off my mind.
40-40 was always good on a Friday night if you wanted to fuck something fast, man.
It was like Tinder, right? If you wanted to fuck something fast, man. It was like Tinder, right?
If you wanted to fuck something fast.
It was like Tinder.
It was like Tinder.
You could meet something over there or bring something.
Oh, look at the big screens.
Yeah.
There's a little room in the back.
You give me like a 1-0 type guy.
You was a 1-0 before?
Hey, in the 40-40, listen.
Yeah, 1-0.
I did all the clubs.
40-40 was like the first niggas out with the unit.
Well, they wasn't the first.
The co-ed bathrooms.
The unit sex bathrooms, that shit hit.
That's the first time I seen them fucking in the bathrooms in speed.
I never seen nobody fucking in speed.
But yeah, yeah.
The first unit sex bathroom I seen was the tunnel, but that 40-40 bathroom was a little different.
You okay?
Hold up, you all right, man? Oh a little different. You okay? Hold up.
You all right, man?
Yes.
What?
I'm fine.
I did not get popped in 40-fucking-40.
So why are you making all these weird noises?
No, not in speed.
Pergola, but not in speed.
You did what in Pergola?
I told you that.
Oh, yeah, she did say that.
I don't know how you did that, fam.
I'm a Pilates instructor.
That's it.
You better be.
Oh, you better be. That's it. No, no, no. Yes, but it's Haiti. You know how you did that, fam. I'm a Pilates instructor. That's hate. You better be. Oh, you better be?
That's hate.
No, no, no.
Yes, but it's hate.
You know how little those bathrooms are?
You can't comment on that.
All you're supposed to do is encourage and empower.
You're not supposed to do that.
Yeah, I didn't say none of that.
How you did that?
It's so uncomfortable in there.
And you added, you better be.
Yeah, you heard her.
You better be.
Pilates instructor the fuck it is.
No, because the bathroom is so little.
No, but it wasn't you.
She got it done with the gentleman that she was sleeping with.
It wasn't you.
Tory Lanez.
Could have been a show.
Oh, shit.
That's more hate.
That's more hate.
He had to be a little nigga.
Oh.
He still hated.
He still hated.
Play your hater.
Hater.
Turn your head around. Hey, that must have been a little tiny nigga. Hater. Never ever. Turn your head around.
Hey, that must have been a little tiny nigga.
Bruh.
When y'all niggas see the bathroom in Pergola,
any dreadnoughts will talk.
Now, we feel you.
It's cool.
We feel you, my G.
Yeah, I could barely get my dick through the door.
So I'm like,.
What?
You know what I'm saying?
Dog.
Yo, man, you a different breed, man.
But why you couldn't just wait till you got home?
Because why bother?
Nigga, when the Henny's in the system, wait till you get home.
Ain't no time.
My dog. My dog. My dog. My dog. My dog. You know what I'm saying? Dog. You're a different breed, man. But why you couldn't just wait
until you got home?
Because why bother?
When the hen is in the system,
ain't no time.
Sometimes you can't wait
until you get home.
And fucking in the bathroom
and be lit.
What?
A bird in the hen?
Not calling you a bird.
It's one of those things.
I mean, I received it like that.
It's one of those things.
Look, yeah.
A bird in the hen
is worth more than two in the bush.
Exactly.
Yeah, this shit just writes itself.
I'm not waiting for her bush.
I'm going to get that bush now.
Y'all are so old.
I'll get him some snacks real quick.
Holy shit.
Mego.
That nigga's so old.
Yo, what's next?

Or not.
Or not.
Or not.
Let's be clear.
Nothing wrong with the bathrooms.
We are back.
Mel, I did see the final episode of Full Circle.
I didn't think it was as bad as you made it out to be.
I mean, the series just in general was just...
I'm with you.
I'm with you.
I'm with you on that part it seems like
these shows
are starting out
with a really
interesting concept
and then toward the end
it's like
the writing gets lazy
I feel like a lot of
the miniseries
particularly
were
probably should have
been a movie
but they stretch it
and then
anytime you stretch it
there's gonna be
some ass in there
now
I did start
Special Ops Lioness on Paramount.
Everybody and they mother said it's crazy.
Yeah.
Really good.
Niggas been hitting me.
Oh, yeah, my man said it was fire.
Really good thus far.
Zoe.
Saldana.
Saldana.
Yeah, Zoe Saldana, right?
Okay.
All you need, right?
Yep.
All you need.
That's it.
What is it called
I ain't gonna lie
Special Ops
Lioness
so far so good
I want to let
tell the audience
I'm saying
really good
thus far
broad premise
yeah there's four
episodes out right now
broad premise
this girl that
was getting her ass beat
joined the military
and she is used in a covert operation.
Okay.
Oh, okay.
She does that well.
That's kind of like Columbiana.
Same shit.
Zoe is not the covert girl.
Oh, she's not?
Zoe is the agent that is hiring the girl.
Oh. It's a young girl or something? Or no? No, it's a woman. Okay, she's not? Zoe is the agent that is hiring the girl. Oh.
It's a young girl or something.
Or no.
No.
Older lady.
It's a woman.
Okay.
It's a woman.
So far, so good.
Check it out.
Okay.
I don't have anything else in TV reviews that I need to get off.
Yeah, I don't think.
I've been struggling to find shit.
It has been a little struggle.
Yeah.
I will say that.
And that's where I thrive, because y'all be laughing at me for saving shows.
I saw something a little while back, and I mean, I was like, I didn't know if I was going to suggest it, because it's like, it's a white show.
But it's called The Fleischmans Are in Trouble.
And the reason why I like this show is because the first half of it, you see it through the lens of the male protagonist.
Okay.
And you think that you have the entire story.
You get it.
It's basically about a marriage that's falling apart.
But then you get the other angle from the woman's perspective, and it completely kind of upends.
It's a really interesting, it's got Claire Danes and Jesse Eisenberg in it.
So Claire Danes was just in full circle. No, you know she was in full circle. it's got Claire Danes and Jesse Eisenberg in it. So Claire Danes was just
in full circle.
No, you know,
she was in full circle.
I just said Claire Danes.
Okay.
She was also in Homeland.
No, Claire Danes.
Okay.
And then Jesse Eisenberg
is the social network dude.
Okay.
Yeah.
Okay.
That's the easiest way
that I can say.
And it was a really,
it was a really,
really good series.
And it was,
I think it's on,
it's on Hulu,
but it's also on like FX.
Shout out to them.
Yeah.
Got it.
So if anybody wanted to watch it, report back.
It was good.
It was really good.
I think you guys would like it.
Thank you, man.
We'll look into it.
Easy, Tiger.
One and only Tiger.
I really liked it.
All right.
Okay.
We are back in business.
Envy. all right okay we are back in business um um envy and tony the closer another story that will never end yeah yeah envy long list of appears to be setting up to sue the shit out of tony the closer
for defamation and that's what i have for you on the report add another name
to that list and try to get me buddy they're already calling from really
dang so you get sued for defamation what is he saying about anybody no yeah he's getting sued for defamation. What is he saying about Envy? Do anybody know?
Yeah, he's a scammer, a thief.
He's been stealing, lying.
What do you mean, what does anybody know? No, I'm saying, like, because why is he targeting him?
Yeah, why is he doing that?
I've been seeing talk all over about it.
Because I'm sure he spoke to somebody who dragged Envy's name through the mud,
but that don't have nothing to do with the law.
If you can't prove that I did these things that you saying I'm doing, then
I have, yeah, shut the fuck up. Got it.
And you could potentially be costing me money, branding deals, et cetera, et cetera. If you
putting out that I'm a thief or I'm some sort of scammer, then other brands might not want
to put no money in your pocket or invest in you.
I'm the only nigga that let people ride with Call Me The Thief.
This guy's hot. Hey, what do you want me to do?
Yeah, let's go.
It's hot.
It's summertime.
I try to say something
on my baby mom.
Hey, you see what time it is?
It's summertime, nigga.
I had to shut up.
What are you going to say
when your baby mom
tell you it's summertime?
I'm outside, nigga.
Nothing you can say.
None of this, you're right.
It was the summertime.
That's true.
I don't like that shit, though.
Not like it in peace.
Yo.
You got Tourette's?
What's going on over there?
You all right?
There's a fly in the room or something?
Do you have Tourette's?
What is it?
You can't say that.
Yeah. Yeah. Oh, man. Oh, man. You can't ride to my home with Tourette's? You can't say that. Yeah.
Oh, man.
You can't ride to my home with Tourette's.
Nah, sorry.
He could lose control of the wheel, anything can happen.
True.
Dangerous.
Be careful.
Oh, God.
All right.
Okay.
So what, does he have a libel case?
Does he have a legal stand on? does he have A leg to stand on
I'm not an attorney
But I mean
Yes you are
I'm sure
I need to know
You was an attorney
Why you be trying
To shine so hard
When you go on these cards
I wasn't trying
To shine at all
Me and Flip don't like that
What were you trying to do
Answer they questions
And have dialogue
With my friends
I do want to say
That you did a great job
You looked great. Your posture was
up. You wasn't sitting lean like that.
Your hands. Maybe you had a more comfortable couch or
something more comfortable to sit on, Paul. Oh, damn, nigga.
Was the couch more comfortable over there? And you were talking in the
mic. It was a chair. It was a chair.
So you sitting up. Confident. You know, you were
smiling, happy, talking with
a lot of vibration. I don't smile. I'm not happy
here. I'm not confident here.
I think you were showing off. I don't smile. I'm not happy here. I'm not confident here. I think he was showing off.
All right, listen.
I have a part of the show.
I can't tell you who it is
because they asked for their name to be anonymous.
Yes.
That's funny.
Both of those.
So Redacted says,
what's up, fellas and Mel?
Hey, Redacted.
Hey.
What's happening?
I'm going to be y'all's go-to guy for questions from now.
Shut up, man.
I'm going to keep this simple.
How do you react and or grieve when your longtime slide dies when you're in a longtime relationship?
Please leave my name out of this one and don't call me this time.
Keep doing what y'all's doing.
Part of you die with her.
You got to react in silence.
You got to react in private.
No, you got to wait
until you got some time
to yourself and grieve.
In private, yeah.
You got to let that...
I don't think so.
Huh?
No, I was wondering what's going on. I saw the name. huh nah I was wondering
what's going on you good
I said was that a female
well let me look
I don't think so
no
oh
it was a neighbor
okay
how do you grieve Mel
in this situation
well hold on
I have a question
so
okay
let's toss it to Mel
about grieving
so the
so the slide
blinker
you fucking assholes so the slide Blinker Fucking assholes
So the slide
So it means
Have you been sliding?
No the slide
You such a geek
Your side piece is the slide
It's another name for the slide
So if you had a long term side piece
Oh my god
I can't hold it I know you are So if you had a long-term side piece. Oh. Oh, my God. You reached the best.
I can't hold it.
I know you are.
Mel.
She don't know.
I didn't know.
Fori, come on.
Yeah, she didn't know.
Fori.
She didn't know what the slide was.
So how do you grieve your side piece when you're in a relationship?
Your long-term side piece.
Well, you obviously can't have a conversation like hey I'm sad and this is the
reason why. Tasha have some
sympathy. Have some sympathy.
I have had a traumatic loss.
No. I'm crying
if I lose mine. She can't cry if hers
die.
I might cry in the shower or something.
It'll be a long shower.
She's still knocking. Are you good?
Yeah.
What am I? I'm good.
What am I?
Yeah.
I'm okay.
Like, nah, yeah, that's fucked up.
That's a bad speech. You know Rebecca died.
You know the side to be the homie.
That shit hurt like a bad tooth probably.
And you never hope it happens like that right you want
your girl to die so you could have your side you know what is wrong with you bro why the fuck you
never want your fucking wouldn't it be the other way around oh shit now i'm trapped here
she was your escape the whole time i mean mean, bro. She really was your escape.
Now where I'm going to go?
Now your relationship popped up because she was the reason your relationship was lost.
Without her counseling, I wouldn't even be here.
For real, I wouldn't even be the man I am today.
Reality, your girl should be crying.
That's funny.
Do you guys agree with that?
No.
Can you ask without the judgment?
Look at her face.
Can you keep a straight face when you ask?
Oh, man.
Straight face is, do you agree with that,
that the side piece sometimes is what holds your marriage
or your long-term relationship together?
When there is one, yes.
I think that can be true.
I think it could be true.
What do you think about that, Mel? Fascinating. I have seen it happen more times than I can count.
That didn't tell us what you think about it. What do you think?
Hate when you got to share like your thoughts, right? No. It's tough.
Your experiences. Hate when you just can't get on your NPR fact vomit shit, huh?
When you got to like think.PR, fat vomit shit, huh? When you gotta like think.
No, you had a side before?
No more.
Yes.
Why you look so proud?
Oh, Jedi Parks.
Who do you think was in Pergola with me? Oh, shit.
I was doing hookah.
Who do you think flew the drone?
That's not a side piece
I don't have a
There's nobody to be on the side of
Who was flying the drone?
Hmm?
Who was flying the drone?
What do you mean?
What drone you talking about?
Where?
On vacations or something?
Yeah, when she was on vacation
Oh, oh
The drone footage
Oh
Oh, I've never seen it
Not a side piece
But who?
Who?
Self-timer.
A piece.
Can y'all not answer?
No.
You won't ever answer.
Damn, because they always, shit, we got to.
So anyways, as I was saying, we were talking about the whole side piece kind of holding up.
I have a friend who is in a long-term marriage, and he steps out, but I don't know.
Maybe it's because I'm his friend.
I understand.
Everybody a rat today.
No, I'm not saying they're a rat.
They should have gained Black People Podcast.
I'm telling you.
I have a friend who's been married for 19 years
who steps out occasionally.
He's brown skin.
He's 6'4".
Daryl is his name.
If you look at my Instagram,
we just celebrated
his anniversary
and I just found him
I just found him on the graph
so what was your story
he steps out
I just
I think that the concept
of like monogamy
and fidelity
is
is always going to be
kind of like
an issue for human beings
not just men
because you guys love to say well man, man, it's just biological.
We're not supposed to be monogamous creatures.
I think it's a human being thing.
I agree with you.
Look at you trying to fish for a fight with us.
You see it, right?
You're trying to fish for a fight with us.
I'm not, no.
Hey, we agree with you.
Now where do you go?
Take that.
I love it. I love it. What advice do you go? Take that. I love it.
I love it.
What advice do you have for Anonymous?
Cry in the fucking shower.
Oh, you know what?
I don't know.
Maybe his girl is cool and he could use this as an opportunity to be like, you know, to open up the channel.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
Do not listen to that.
If she was cool, then he wouldn't be hitting us.
Okay, well. He could just cry in his house. Okay, then he's just Do not listen to that. If she was cool, then he wouldn't be hitting us. Okay, well.
He could just cry in his house.
Okay, then he's just going to have to cry in the shower.
And he's going to have to bury his emotions or talk to his homeboys.
If we live together and I feel like I can't cry in here, then you got to move, too.
That's the other thing.
Well, you can cry.
I'm even crying.
You crying over shorty?
If you crying over your side nigga, bye.
Sweetie, I'm going to holler at you.
You what?
Walking around here sad, mopey around because your side nigga died?
No, no.
You got to go.
And in this scenario, you know about the side dude.
No, but you're going to ask your girl why she's crying or what has her upset.
And if you come to the realization that she's crying over the next nigga.
Let's take side dude out of it.
How do y'all feel about crying over exes?
If they passed away or something?
I think that's allowable.
I think that's allowable.
I think that's allowable. I wouldn't even be mad.
How many minutes she could cry?
I'm asking.
Ten.
Ten minutes and then she gotta wrap it up?
No.
Suck it up, buttercup.cup wait she could cry the whole day
in front of you now
if you wanna cry go outside bitch
no why don't
you misogynistic
you misogynistic lady
I'm freestyling I'm sorry
when that little Meg Hulu doc went off
um I think that, you know,
they could be sad.
I don't know if I have a time
period on the set.
On a scale of one to Jada Pinkett,
how long can she be sad?
Exactly.
Jada Pinkett, I'm shutting up.
Will Smith already going to beat me up.
No, she could.
She's still going though.
I know.
You can express your sadness.
Like you can express your sadness.
No, I'm saying that.
That was some real macho machismo.
You can express it.
I didn't say nothing about that.
Like I don't have a time frame for it.
Because she cry in front of you all day.
Yeah, she can.
The whole week.
Nigga, no.
This nigga went from a day to a night.
No, she can cry.
Not the whole day either. Yeah, you can't cry all day in front of me. Not right here. I'm not going to sit here and watch you keep crying over this nigga. Nigga, no. This nigga went from a day to a... No, she can cry. Not the whole day either.
Yeah, you can't cry all day
in front of me.
Not right here.
I'm not going to sit here
and watch you keep crying
over this nigga.
Sorry, my mom.
No, no, you got to go...
No, no, no.
I understand you sad, but...
Hey, yo, you flipping flopping
on a panda.
Why is that panda in there?
No, no, you're not pandering today.
No, you're not pandering today.
So if somebody had
a 10-year relationship
with another nigga,
they got life experiences,
they may even have a kid, whatever the case may be.
Oh, come on.
I want a joke.
The person passes away, they can't come in and boo-hoo?
What did I just say?
Yes.
You're not going to sit here to answer his question all day long sitting here crying
in front of me over this nigga.
What you going to do?
Put on some comedies on TV?
No.
Go ahead.
You going to do a kick out, nigga?
He might have hit that spot.
You ain't hit.
OK.
Oh, shit.
You know what I mean?
There's another spot we're going to talk about now.
You find it in your own.
You find it in your own.
Let's have a conversation.
Let's progress this.
Another spot now.
You find it in your own spot.
If you got to cry for more than 10 minutes over your ex dude,
then you got to go in the garage.
It's rude.
I'm not looking at this all day
go get in the dog cage
alright
hey be sad about it
in the dog cage bitch
nope
yo I ain't gonna lie
this nigga really almost made it
in the garage
how's she gonna be sad in the house you paying bills
over there I'm sorry.
And we talking about him dying.
Shit.
Forget about dying.
Don't walk around here sad when it's his birthday.
No, you can't do that.
No, no, no.
No, no, no.
You can't do none of that.
What you want?
Go on.
Get out.
Take you and the cake.
Where do y'all stand on y'all partners saying happy birthday to an ex?
I'm not.
I don't care about that.
I don't care about that.
Got it.
I don't care about that.
Y'all full of shit.
Y'all are liars.
But I get it.
I wouldn't really know either.
I've never been put in that situation.
I wouldn't really know.
I don't go through folks.
They're going to know exes.
It hit me the other day that she knows everybody I fucked in the last 10 years. I wouldn't really know. I don't go through phones. They got no exes. It hit me the other
day that she know everybody I fucked
in the last 10 years. I don't know none of us.
Oh, shit.
Something went wrong in my
bedding, but yeah, no, she wouldn't
do that. How much interaction
can your current
have with an ex? It's going to be a group.
Oh, the group chat?
Oh, you're talking about the group chat?
Yo, happy birthday, dude.
Yeah.
As soon as she said happy birthday,
I'm two texts behind.
Yeah, nah, I heard a lot about your shit.
I heard a lot about your shit.
What?
About you.
I heard a lot about you.
Oh, man.
It's good to enjoy your birthday, son.
Son.
Happy birthday from us.
Over there.
Yeah, from us.
Over there, too.
What are you talking about?
I don't know how I feel about the conversations.
I want to ask y'all girls how they feel.
Because maybe y'all are right.
Girls could reach out and say, happy birthday, Eric.
And that'd be the end. It'd be the
niggas that'd be like,
another year.
Life is
so different.
Another trip around the sun.
Revolution around the sun, queen.
I never felt the same, but I respect your decision
you made. I shouldn't
hurt you like that.
Niggas start going crazy on the
if only things could have been
different I would have never been with this
bitch I'm with now
niggas get flavoring like that
I'm only with her now
because you left that day
that dark Wednesday night
my life has never been the same
ever little Jerry can ask about you
all the time.
Lil' Jerry needs you.
My mama ask about you.
And my mom.
My mama ask about you.
My mom say, when you gonna come through, see what's good.
Bar stool.
What happened with bar stool?
Dave bought some shit, sold some shit, got some shit back, partnered.
Dave bought it back for a dollar
They gave it back to him
For a dollar
But they gave it back
With stipulations
If he sells it
Who's they?
Penn
Penn
Penn
What's Penn?
Penn is a
Sports book
I said sports book
Oh gambling shit
Like a parent company
I think of a sports book
Legal in 17 states
Got it
And then Penn went And made a deal with ESPN.
So I think them having an affiliation with Barstools
might have been a conflict of interest of some sort.
ESPN having a gambling company isn't a conflict?
No, Penn being in bed with Barstools
and Penn being in bed with ESPN
may have been some conflict of interest.
This shit all sounds a little bit messy.
Sounds super sketch.
Sounds like grown people business to me, but they gave it the day for them.
Sport betting is the way of the future.
No doubt.
No question.
Everybody should be trying to align with a stakes.
Penn is now rebranding as ESPN Bet.
I just feel like ESPN owning a betting company would be a conflict of interest from a content perspective.
Why?
Because they may be.
They don't run the leagues and they're objective.
Are they going to be objective if they have stakes in?
They don't have stakes.
Because you could bet for A or B.
Right.
So we objective.
We just basically are transactional in allowing people to place their wagers.
We don't have a side. You get what I'm saying? Like, so it's really unbiased.
They have a side in the coverage. You could though. Yeah, you could. You could. You could definitely have a side.
You could report some shit that might sway the public in betting a certain way.
That's what I'm saying. Like they already do have have a side in the Cowboys, for instance.
Even when the Cowboys are below 500 team,
they still give them front page information for a reason.
But that's across all.
That's not just ESPN.
That's every sport medium.
The more popular teams, the Lakers could be trash.
The Lakers are going to get coverage.
The Cowboys could be trash.
The Yankees could be trash. They're going to get coverage because they're the most popular
franchise can can be about it the Yankees is absolutely trash they are but I'm just saying
it don't matter they're going to get the same amount of coverage whether they trash or whether
they good they're going to still dominate the the airways so I think that's just a reporting thing. Like, ESPN don't make money if the Cowboys are better than last year.
I don't think.
Nor could any ESPN reporting sway a game.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Yeah, but it could sway betting.
Like, if there's a huge boxing match coming up, and they know they're the sports book,
and maybe you want more people to bet on this fighter as opposed to this fighter,
you could start reporting some shit that this fighter as opposed to this fighter.
You can start reporting some shit that'll sway it.
That's betting.
But I'm saying if you own the sports book and own the news that reports on what the sports book is taking a bet on, I see what Parks is saying.
It seems like this could be a conflict. Somewhere there could be conflict because now your personal agenda could come into play, and you can sway that betting in your favor.
I mean, the fight's still got to take place.
I understand what y'all are saying.
It just sounds like more incentive for me to do the deal.
You still can't control the outcome or really affect the outcome.
If I report on sports, I want a sports betting thing.
What are y'all talking about?
I'm not saying it's not smart business, but I'm saying from a moral standpoint, I guess.
Oh, all right.
That's where I'm at.
High clock now.
Once we start getting into morals and what's right and wrong.
I'm out of here.
I go to Ish.
I'm a moral expert.
Supposedly, they have stipulations in the contract where he can't sell.
If he sells, they get a big chunk.
And then there was some other things.
But supposedly him picking it back up for a dollar is amazing.
Yeah, I'm going to hit the round of applause.
I don't know nothing about.
They can't.
Some of the stipulations were if he sells, they get 50%.
You can't advertise any other sports books,
and you can't start your own sports book.
Yes.
That all seems reasonable.
Rational.
Yeah, rational, reasonable.
So it basically just kept you out of the betting world.
But I mean, it's dope.
He sold it for however, I'm sure, many figures.
How much was the original price tag they sold it for? I don't know sold it for however I'm sure how much was the original price tag
they sold it for
I don't know
a lot
they said it
but I don't know
off the top of my head
a lot I'm sure
and to buy it back
for a dollar
is already a win
that's a win
no matter what
alright here we go
I got some info
the Barstool
Deliance
is that how you say
that word
I don't yeah who knows the Barstool Deliance with Is that how you say that word?
I don't know. Who knows?
The Barstool Deliance with Penn Entertainment continues to make money for Dave Portnoy.
According to a regulatory filing,
the founder of Barstool Sports is selling 1.25 million shares of Penn.
He acquired six months ago as part of the casino company's purchase of the media,
media brand with With Penn shares
trading around $24 on Friday, that's another $30 million payday for Portnoy.
The Barstool acquisition and disposition by Penn continues to be a great deal for Portnoy,
who started Barstool two decades ago as a newsletter distributor at T-Stops around Boston.
The executive reportedly sold about 51%
of Barstool in 2016 to the churning group for roughly $5 to $8 million, based on reports at
the time. If Portnoy still owned 49% when Penn bought Barstool in a series of transactions
starting in 2020, he may have collected another $230 million, about half of the cash Penn paid out on top of stock for Barstool.
The total potential payout for the Swamp Scott, Massachusetts native in stock and cash is perhaps
270 million dollars. Wow. Penn Entertainment, meanwhile, owned 100 percent of Barstool for all
of six months before jettisoning Portnoy and the Barstool brand in a deal that would make
Wall Street's fictional Duke brothers proud. One dollar cash plus a non-compete and possible
future payouts. Meanwhile, Penn, a publicly traded company, is taking a loss as high as
$850 million on Barstool in order to flip its sports books to the ESPN bet brand.
They go on to say New York is the biggest opportunity here.
Wrote Stifle analyst Stephen something I can't pronounce Thursday, blah, blah, blah.
Where it is speculated Barstool founder Dave Portnoy was one of the reasons Penn was not granted a gaming license in the state that Portnoy Risk also roiled pen shares on at least two occasions on reports of
behalf on reports of behavior by Portnoy and other barstool staffers all right none of that's the
important stuff I think we got the gist of it that's kind of important too it's that they
yeah that's important you know I'm saying like yo we true. Like, yo, we can't. How do we get around it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, because Dave, they had a show on ESPN
that aired one episode
and then the relationship got spoiled.
So that doesn't,
that makes sense.
Round of applause,
congratulations for Dave Portnoy.
Can't be mad at nobody getting 300.
Not at all.
Not at all.
That's like Flo out of money.
Hmm. Not at all. That's like flow out of money.
Has he at least texted since that happened?
Since he got all his money?
He doesn't have my number.
That's probably why.
Yeah.
He can get it though.
Joe, would you give him my number?
No, I wouldn't give anybody your number.
Okay.
I wouldn't give anybody your number. I would ask first. Yeah, you guys would ask first. I would ask you. But if he asks for your number, should we give him my number? No, I wouldn't give anybody your number. Okay. I wouldn't give anybody your number. I would ask first.
Yeah, you guys would ask first.
I would ask you.
But if he asks for your number, should we give it to him?
Let's ask in advance.
Jesus.
Because niggas going to be around.
Fuck you.
I'll be sending a nigga my number.
Hey, Flo.
Okay, big head.
Listen, stranger.
No.
That's funny

Well they had an MC
That got on the stage
You're lucky I didn't say master of ceremonies, okay?
The funny shit.
I almost did.
Check one, two, one, two.
I have a long clip, though, that could go into this hip-hop anniversary shit.
I'll play some of it.
Okay.
Let's do it.
I'll play some of it to try to save this topic.
Mel is just so whitewashed.
Damn.
Really?
Yes.
You know what?
I'm not even going to say it.
Walk away from an argument.
Number one, they stop addressing the issue and start attacking your character.
All right.
Let me find this shit.
Because this actually was really entertaining.
Let's see.
One day, late in the 2000s, I was sort of looking at this library
and I asked myself, God, how did all this music actually get here
in the first place?
How is this actually possible?
And as I began to investigate this,
I found the most astonishing thing.
Almost all the files that I had could be traced back
to just three people.
One of the guys was a guy named Karl-Heinz Brandenburg, who
was a brilliant German inventor.
And he had spent his life investigating the properties
of the human ear and how to actually delete frequencies
that were invisible to it or inaudible to it.
And in this way, he came up with something that we now
call the MP3 encoder, which had the ability to take the
information on a compact disk and shrink it by about 90% with very little loss
in audio quality.
Really important.
That was important.
But he was totally unable to monetize this invention.
He was locked out of the marketplace, as brilliant as it was.
And in desperation, in 1995, he posted it for free public download to his website.
Within a couple of years, the pirates got a hold of it.
We got him.
And he ended up making hundreds of millions of dollars
from intellectual property licensing.
But the irony of that is that whole fortune
was built on the greatest wave of copyright infringement
that the world had ever seen.
The second guy was a guy named Doug Morris.
And he was a power dog Morris in
the mid 90s and Time Warner and he started to realize that the future still
is a wrap so he started to sign all the major label rappers of the early 90s
Tupac Shakur dr. gray the next guy he gets into is dog the guy for me that's
makes this very controversial Bill Bennett who had been Ronald Reagan's drug czar, didn't like it.
And he went after him.
They bought shares in Time Warner, and they showed up to shareholder meetings and protested,
demanding that the executives of the company read the rap lyrics from, say, Dr. Dre and Tupac Shakur aloud.
Needless to say, the executives refused to do so.
And within a couple months, Morris
was fired. But he picked himself up and he dusted himself off and he began one of the
great second acts of American music business, signing all those same rappers once again
and eventually cornering the market. In 2000, he signed the largest recording industry contract
anyone's ever seen. And he made about $200 million over the next 10 years.
But as he did that,
he was presiding over an empire in decline.
And that was because of a third guy.
He was really the most fascinating guy of all.
His name was Del Glover,
and he was a compact disc manufacturing facility worker
at the Kings Mountain plant here in North Carolina.
He worked the packaging line.
So all of the discs would sort of come in a virgin state
right past him every day.
The plant could put up about a million discs
in a single day.
And because of all of Universal's big signings
that were happening,
all of this music was literally at his fingertips.
He devised a method to smuggle it out
and through a cabal of similar leakers
that he joined online, got probably about 2,000 discs out of the plant over the course
of seven years, ripped them to MP3 and uploaded them to the secret top sites that the group
ran. Within hours, this music would be found on peer-to-peer servers like Kazaa and LimeWire,
Torrents and stuff like that. And it could be found on iPods around thepeer servers like Kazaa and LimeWire, Torrents, and stuff like that.
And it can be found on iPods around the globe
within a couple of days.
That guy's name, Del whatever his name was,
his story is really important in hip hop, as we tell it
and celebrate it.
And the music industry in general, honestly.
Yeah.
He changed everything.
That's why streaming exists, essentially,
is because of this guy.
Yeah, for sure.
That's crazy.
So a little bit of music history for you guys.
Happy birthday, hip-hop.
Happy birthday.
Happy birthday to hip-hop.
Can you send that to me?
Oh, sure I can.
Please, thank you.
Me too.
I'll put it in the pod chat.
Thank you.
There we go.
