Starting point is 00:00:00 If I didn't know that we weren't going to start until this time, I would have parked on the street. I did park on the street. It was good at 6.30. Oh, wait, Maddie has her car? Oh, we're rolling. Guess who's getting a ride back to Jersey City? We're rolling. Me. Can you go visit your mom?
Starting point is 00:00:17 Did he say we're rolling? Yes. All right! Hello. Hello. Hello. All right. I will name this podcast later, episode number 33. I feel like 33 is a special number for some reason.
Starting point is 00:00:29 Really, there's no reason, just because there's fucking two threes here. That's about it. I feel like it was a Seinfeld episode about the number 33. No. No. No? It's Daddy Pippin's birthday the other day. That's close enough.
Starting point is 00:00:42 And Larry Bird, too, if we're going to talk about white basketball players. Yeah, whatever. I don't care about anybody's birthday. Imani's birthday was the other day. That's close enough. And Larry Bird, too. Katie's birthday is today. Yeah, whatever. I don't care about anybody's birthday. Imani's birthday was recently. That's true. Joe's birthday was also recently. That is true, too. My birthday is forthcoming.
Starting point is 00:00:55 And I was about to say, Parks has a birthday coming. Mine was in May. What a small world. Mine was in July. This is crazy. Nobody cares about all of you guys' birthdays outside of mine. So, yeah, we are here. I will name this podcast later.
Starting point is 00:01:04 We have a very special edition of this podcast so much so that we actually have people filming for some strange reason. Roy just knows a bunch of people that he just invites to shit.
Starting point is 00:01:15 They're all very useful too. He knows a lot of people that do that. So we have two people in here filming so it feels really professionally. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:01:23 and Madi got her dopest swishy jacket wait a minute let's get into this for a minute rory text us earlier in the uh podcast thread and said did you guys like the name i named it i'll name it marissa marissa marissa we're not listening right now that's great he told us he hey, don't forget people are coming to film. Right. And you said, I'll iron my sweatsuit. And you really did wear a sweatsuit.
Starting point is 00:01:51 I didn't know that. And I said, I'm pulling this thing. Yeah, I was clueless. Reading Twitter. Yeah, but that's me. Parks, you wear the same thing every day for the year. That's true. And I just said I wouldn't look homeless.
Starting point is 00:02:03 The weather is very confusing right now, so I needed a jacket. What are you doing with this? I just needed a jacket. That was the only issue I had there. And I didn't want a heavy jacket. It's very like 93. Yeah, I like the 90s. I like the 90s.
Starting point is 00:02:15 The 94 is very crazy sexy cool. Very crush groovies. It'd be dope if it was pony. Okay. All right. Keep coming at me. But what kind of jacket is it? Well, you're used to that.
Starting point is 00:02:23 What kind of jacket is this? World Cup USA 94. You got that. Yeah, you got it. Keep coming at me. What kind of jacket is it? Well, you're used to that. What kind of jacket is this? World Cup USA 94. You got that. Yeah, you caught it. I caught it. Keep coming at me. Fuck you guys. That was a good one.
Starting point is 00:02:31 That was great. You got your fucking, your mighty earrings on. Yeah, I'm back, B. I had a date today. It got canceled, but I had one. So I'm like back in the groove a little bit. You were going to wear this on a date? That was going to be what you were going to wear on the date?
Starting point is 00:02:42 No. But because it got canceled, I already knew early in the day he didn't get the flight. He didn't come to New York. Wait, he was flying in for a date? You flew him in? All right, relax. He lives in L.A. How you put a flight in a swishy jacket?
Starting point is 00:02:57 Oh, my God. He was coming out for some business, and the business got pushed to possibly next week, so it wasn't happening. So you weren't enough for him to fly in anyway? He wasn't. Damn. All right, everybody. He's going to be here next week and I'll see him next week. Well, because he has business to attend to next week.
Starting point is 00:03:13 Yeah. Damn, honey. So I saw him when I had business to attend to in L.A. So he's from L.A.? I'm from L.A.? He's from L.A. He's from L.A., yes. What were you guys going to do?
Starting point is 00:03:24 I don't know. Maybe go for a drink, some dinner. Well, what business could he have out here? All right. Why are we playing Blue's Clues here? We're just... Because that's what we do on this podcast. I was talking about a lovely date, and that's it.
Starting point is 00:03:34 He's a man of substance, possibly. You didn't even know what you guys were going to do. How was it going to be a lovely date? Word. Because he's a lovely person. We've been getting to know each other for about a month and a half. She fucked him early. I did not.
Starting point is 00:03:45 No, I did not. I did not. And it's been cool because we've been able to get to know each other for about a month and a half. She fucked him early. I did not. No, I did not. I did not. And it's been cool because we've been able to get to know each other on text and FaceTime. I swear to God I have not had sex with this man. Did you give him a handy? No! A contrary to popular belief, I can get to know guys without having to have sex with them.
Starting point is 00:04:00 I don't believe that at all. I told you, I'm on a new path. Oh yeah, you did say it. Yes. Alright, so you didn't give him a handy. I gave him nothing. We have done nothing. We met.
Starting point is 00:04:09 No kiss, nothing? No. Oh. You fucking kissed his head. You sent him a nude? In the car. Yeah, I sent him a nude. While it was moving.
Starting point is 00:04:16 Oh, you got a nude though. Holy moly. So you guys are definitely fucking next time I see each other. No. You got a nude? No, we're not. Anytime a girl sends a nude the next time you see her. the next time you see her, you're going to fuck. The next time you see her, you're going to fuck.
Starting point is 00:04:27 No. Better be. You can take the whole out the Hot 97 studio. I don't know. That jacket is mad handjob in the front seat. Yo, this jacket is mad. You can't hide the handjob through the jacket. That might be why she's wearing it.
Starting point is 00:04:42 No. He's not even here. Okay, okay, enough about Mahdi fucking jerking his dude off. Damn. I lost what I was saying just that fast. All right, The Weeknd. Oh, no, it's a special edition of the podcast
Starting point is 00:04:58 because my album is going to leak soon, so I figured I wanted to play my album and actually discuss it track by track with uh parks parks is here what up parks what up um and amani amani is here what up e hello um i wanted to do this with them weeks ago and rory kept shutting it down and he always had some fucking white people logic as to why it shouldn't happen and it made sense so we just didn't do it but the album's gonna leak um let's guess a leak date how are it But the album's gonna leak Let's guess a leak date How you saying
Starting point is 00:05:27 When it's gonna leak It's gonna leak Hold on let me pull up my calendar It's the 29th now When does E1 ship it Probably a week before Probably a week before I got it leaking
Starting point is 00:05:36 I got the 6th I got it leaking Tuesday Wow I got it leaking Tuesday Tuesday would be I got the 8th I got Thursday October 8th I got the 8th. I got Thursday, October 8th. I got the 6th.
Starting point is 00:05:47 6th is pretty solid. The 6th is what, Tuesday? Yeah. Yeah, I'm rolling with Tuesday. I'm just trying to be different. It probably will leak Tuesday. Yeah. I'm going to 8th.
Starting point is 00:05:55 Early next week sounds about right. Yeah, I think so. Although I don't know what... Since they changed the release date to Fridays, I don't know if that changes anything as far as when the leak comes. The shipping date didn't change, though. Do we know that?
Starting point is 00:06:05 I don't know that. If the albums are going to come out a different day, the shipping date. Can I be the first to say, I don't really like the Friday release. I don't either. Well, everyone gets paid that day that has a job. I don't care. I literally don't care. It doesn't make a difference.
Starting point is 00:06:16 It doesn't. But I don't like them. Yeah, we've seen sales go up, so I mean. I don't know. No, you're robbing artists of more sales time. It's literally the same thing. I don't think it is're robbing artists Of more sales Sales time It's literally the same thing I don't think it is People keep telling me that
Starting point is 00:06:29 How? Friday to Friday It's not Friday to Friday It's Saturday to Friday Just like before If an album comes out Friday They didn't change When SoundScan comes out
Starting point is 00:06:38 Yes they did No they did not Yes they do Now the charts are released On Sunday night Them bitches come out Every fucking Wednesday No they don't Now the charts are released on Sunday night. Them bitches come out every fucking Wednesday. No, they don't.
Starting point is 00:06:47 Now they come out on Sunday night. I see numbers every Wednesday. Well, maybe you're looking for them. They are published on Sunday night, and the reports are on the blogs on Mondays now. I do these reports every week. She's got a very serious look on her face, so I believe her. I wouldn't care. She's got that jacket on, and she fucking gives handies and more. She can make the best face ever. I'm not fucking. She's got that jacket on. And she fucking gives handies and more. She can make the best face ever.
Starting point is 00:07:08 I'm not fucking. She's not credible. That's her handy face. I don't know why handy is the funniest word ever to me. She's fucking banging on the desk. I know. It's a fuck up. I do know.
Starting point is 00:07:20 That's it. It's natural. It's natural. It's her. She's the greatest. Yo, Monty might give a... All right, let me not even think about that. Bro, come on. All right, we're off of Monty's handies.
Starting point is 00:07:33 But I don't like the release date being Friday. Tuesday just felt like a better day to me. Yeah, me too. That's it. But, yeah, so I got a league next Tuesday. So today we're going to do track by track, but not before I talk about some things
Starting point is 00:07:46 one being Summer Madness which just occurred Summer Madness 5 shout out to Smack shout out to Beez shout out to everybody over at URL the good people over there
Starting point is 00:07:54 much anticipated battle between Lux and Clips yeah yeah yeah that's about right yeah yeah I'd say that was right that was it was kind of a snore fest I didn't that was right. It was kind of a snore fest.
Starting point is 00:08:07 I didn't see it yet. Because everybody said it was a snore fest. Yeah, I'm cool. I mean, it just wasn't. You know, this is what I find. I find that with the battles that are highly anticipated, i.e. Lux, Clipse, me, Hollow, Mook, Lux, all of them outside of Lux and Hollow, which was an Lux, all of them
Starting point is 00:08:25 outside of Lux and Hollow, which was an amazing battle in retrospect, all them shits is like,
Starting point is 00:08:30 they just don't live up to them. It's kind of like the same with fights, though. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:34 Fights be the same way. Yeah. Anticipation kills it. I mean, you missed a lot, though. You missed a lot.
Starting point is 00:08:40 Lux had a lot of dope shit. No, he was great. I'm one of the very few people that have him winning. I get that it's a... Listen, first of all, Clipse is the people's champ right now.
Starting point is 00:08:53 He could fucking... He's like... He had the crowd with him. He's like battle rap's fucking Drake. He could just fart on stage. Well, he was what Mook used to be. Used to be? I mean, outside...
Starting point is 00:09:04 No, no. Around before the Iron Solomon battle Mook was the people's champ And then I think after the Solomon battle People were like yeah And then he announced the Lux shit And he came right back I think Lux thing is
Starting point is 00:09:14 After the Calico shit You just hit your peak That's hard to live up to And it's hard to live up to It is It was right place right time That to me That's the best
Starting point is 00:09:22 It was incredible It was still probably my favorite battle verse. Yeah. You can't top that. And I think he, Lux is probably too nice for the audience that's listening to him.
Starting point is 00:09:31 That's true. That's true. So if you're not catching what he's saying, then yeah. He's too nice for me sometimes. It's hard to catch
Starting point is 00:09:38 the way he's, like he's so intricate with his rhyme patterns and all that shit. It's hard to catch all that. Well, that's why I couldn't understand when people just
Starting point is 00:09:43 watched it one time and were picking a winner. I was like, these two you got to watch. At this point, I don't want to see Lux battle no more. He said that though. He feels like his shit goes over everybody's head. I mean, I do, but I want to see him battle.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Who else is there? You got to look at it like this. Lux's last three battles were Clipse, Hollow, and Mook. That's fucking impressive. Yeah. It doesn't get much more impressive than that. Did you battle Surf?
Starting point is 00:10:10 Unless you go to Hollow. No, Lux didn't battle Surf. Hollow battled Surf. Hollow did Surf, me, Clips, and Lux. That's a nice four. And what can you say about Mook? Mook hasn't lost a round in about 15 rounds. My mother murdered Mook.
Starting point is 00:10:31 Thank you for that brilliant input. No problem. You know what I tell when you have absolutely nothing to add. You just come in with some real dumb shit. No, that's the best from his battle with Mills. I was one of the few people that liked Mook against Solomon. People hated that battle. I enjoyed it. That battle was one of the worst battles I've ever seen against Solomon. People hated that battle. I enjoyed it.
Starting point is 00:10:45 That battle was one of the worst battles I've ever seen. Well, no, no, on Solomon's behalf. I thought Mook was saying some shit. I didn't need to hear five rounds of shit. No, that definitely wasn't necessary. We're cool on that battle. Yeah. But, yeah, I thought Deluxe won, but outside of that,
Starting point is 00:10:57 both of them bitching about the coins. It was too extra for me. Oh, my God. It was too extra. I could have done without all the antics. Now, on the other hand, Surf, I mean, not Surf, Calico and T-Rock, I really enjoyed.
Starting point is 00:11:10 I really enjoyed that battle. I think that T-Rock won. But I just like aggressive niggas. I watched that last night and T-Rock is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Yeah, which is funny because I used to hate T-Rock.
Starting point is 00:11:24 Me and him actually got into it on Twitter. Yeah, because I said he I used to hate T-Rock. Me and him actually got into it on Twitter. Yeah, because I said he was horrible and whack and why would anybody fucking ever think he's nice? But I was wrong.
Starting point is 00:11:31 I was wrong and I said I was wrong and I apologized to him and he's definitely one of my favorites now. So, Summer Madness occurred. Oh,
Starting point is 00:11:39 an official got fucking three-oh'd. That was horrible because I was there for the official dragging of Jazz, my girl Jazz. Oh, man, she killed her. Yeah, Hustle got fucking official out here. But anyway, Three old That was horrible Cause I was there For the official Dragging of jazz My girl jazz Oh man she killed her
Starting point is 00:11:46 Yeah Hustle got Fucking official out here But anyway So what else happened Summer Madness happened Something else happened That I wanted to discuss I don't fucking remember
Starting point is 00:11:54 I feel like Funny enough You said there's a lot of shit That happened I don't really remember Nothing happened Nah it was a busy week It was
Starting point is 00:12:02 But because my memory Is like a piece of shit I don't remember at the moment. I don't remember shit. Outside of Drake calling, saying something funny about Meek again. Yeah. I'm over that storyline. That was about it.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Drake and Future's album's number one. Fetty Wap's on pace to do 115K. Oh, Fetty Wap got- He got in a motorcycle accident. That's what happened. Yeah, that wasn't cool. That sucked. Why is Fetty Wap on a motorcycle? And listen.
Starting point is 00:12:26 He pulled a Jay Williams. No, I do think, you know, he should have had a moment of celebration and, you know, a moment to actually enjoy the fact that you got an album out.
Starting point is 00:12:35 But that's not the way to do it, B. Not in a motorcycle in Patterson. Well, they're saying his first time riding a motorcycle. We see him
Starting point is 00:12:40 on the motorcycle. The day after your album comes out, B, you don't need to be in your hood riding a motorcycle. Oh, yeah. In my opinion. I Comes out You don't need to be In your hood Oh yeah In my opinion I mean you don't need
Starting point is 00:12:47 To be in your hood period I'm sure that wasn't JPP's first time Lighting a firecracker That's true So I mean I don't really want To hear that shit
Starting point is 00:12:55 It's just you know Not cool that he didn't Have a license Or insurance Or registration What's a license No it's not People do that
Starting point is 00:13:01 It's not cool That the bum ass cops Gave Fetty One of the fucking Most popping artists Out there Three fucking citations Nigga
Starting point is 00:13:09 I made Trap Queen My dude The law's laws It's the law's law My nigga I made Trap Queen And My Way He said some fucking
Starting point is 00:13:16 And 678 I got four records In top ten And he made that Part one and two He made 678 And 679 Like how the fuck
Starting point is 00:13:26 are you giving him three tickets Betty Watt shouldn't be riding around Patterson on a motorcycle with one eye I mean
Starting point is 00:13:34 but the thing of I just wanted to make sure he was okay before I made any jokes but there was a blind side joke somewhere oh there was a million over there
Starting point is 00:13:41 I mean he does have a driver's license so he he does have enough visibility in license so he he does have enough visibility in his one eye to be able to operate a moving vehicle yeah he cool
Starting point is 00:13:50 I mean that's cool I just don't want you I mean the day after your album comes out you should be somewhere else no I know that but I'm just combating your jokes about
Starting point is 00:13:57 you shouldn't be riding a motorcycle he's a million other ways to celebrate I know you got a nice couple dollars after this last couple months man
Starting point is 00:14:03 I saw a tweet that said I guess he didn't see the car coming his way. Oh, shit. Come on, man. No, no, no. Listen, that's really immature, but some of them stupid, immature, ignorant jokes are fucking horrible. But they're funny sometimes. That's hilarious, but I'm going to hell for laughing.
Starting point is 00:14:20 Well, my seats are already reserved. Listen, I'm pretty sure he sees some of that shit and laughs, too, though. He got to laugh. I mean, he makes his own jokes about his eye, too, and shit like that. Listen, I'm pretty sure he sees some of that shit and laughs too, though. He gotta laugh. He gotta laugh. I mean, he makes his own jokes about his eye too and shit like that. Yeah, it's cool. He said his eye weren't seeing eye to eye when they asked him to laugh. You gotta be able to laugh at yourself.
Starting point is 00:14:33 And let's just be clear. I'm sure these jokes are only being made in light of him being okay. Yeah. That's true. Yeah, definitely. If he weren't. I'm not that. Thank God that he really is okay, though.
Starting point is 00:14:44 That would have been horrible. That would have been really bad timing. Yeah. I wanted to ask, do you think now that that actually is going to benefit his sales because of the A, publicity, and B, sympathy purchases? I don't think that someone who has had that many singles in the top 100 would have even mattered.
Starting point is 00:15:08 I'm surprised Elm's only doing 115 or whatever you said. The funny thing is those forecasts came based off the first day numbers and that was prior to his accident so we will actually see what the difference is between them. That is good but considering you have four top 10 singles
Starting point is 00:15:24 I did expect a little more as well Yeah I would think You would do a little bit more That sounded about right That sounds cool to me Four top ten singles is crazy I think it's like the Beatles The only other people
Starting point is 00:15:35 That did that Like that's crazy Yeah but look at the time I mean listen I agree with you The time that we in It ain't really much to combat Well he's a singles artist
Starting point is 00:15:42 You know what I mean Yeah you're right about that too You have singles artists And you have artists That you want to hear albums from i don't think that he's cemented his spot enough for people to want to hear a complete album from him um that's number one number two we've heard most of the album right it wasn't like it was crafted it's good though some big album is good you know sequenced project like yours the records i hadn't heard i it should be good it's a bunch of fucking It is It's dope 17 cigars 20 songs
Starting point is 00:16:05 Some shit Now what I will ask You guys Is this With the type of year That he's had Just like we were Just saying about Lux
Starting point is 00:16:13 With his Calico battle And the bar That he set for himself Right It's a crazy bar Do you think that Fetty has set The bar extremely high
Starting point is 00:16:22 For himself How do you follow up This type of year It's been an amazing year. To me, he hasn't showed any signs of slowing up. I think he's got to just come right back, though.
Starting point is 00:16:33 He hasn't done his first headlining tour. There's a lot of firsts that he's still going to have. It's going to come from different avenues. It ain't been that much time, though. It's been less than a year. It's not true. It's been about a year. Flex started spinning Trap Queen in January. Whoop-de-doo.
Starting point is 00:16:50 Trap Queen was out in September, though. Yeah, but that's when it started picking up steam. She's right. Yeah, that's when he started booking shows. It's been less than a year. Like, really, really moving. I'm afraid a guy like that might start to bust his load a little bit too quick. I was worried about that when he was putting singles out every three days, it felt like.
Starting point is 00:17:05 Yeah. Well, he's still doing that, I think. But they all still work, so it's like, damn. It took him forever to put those on iTunes and it's also...
Starting point is 00:17:12 It's also a moment thing, too. I would say... I think people... That sound right now that's coming from him in this moment sounds really dope to us. That's true.
Starting point is 00:17:21 I don't know if by next summer we're still going to want to hear that sound. Well, let's remember... It's a unique sound, though. I was going to say, it's a very unique sound. In his bio, they compared him to Nelly
Starting point is 00:17:29 and said we haven't had a melodic rapper like that since then. You think that's a unique sound? I think it's a unique sound. I think production-wise it's very similar, but the way he actually,
Starting point is 00:17:38 you can hear what he's saying as opposed to some of these other guys that are popping that I'm not going to name. And there's a melody. I'll name one. Go ahead. Because recently, if I'm just freestyling, which I am,
Starting point is 00:17:49 Migos had a nice little run where it seemed like everything they put out just bubbled in a club or on radio. Them little two kids. What's their name? Ray? I can't pronounce their name. I don't know how you say their name. They had a nice little run.
Starting point is 00:18:04 They're still doing good. They just got off a big tour they weren't at the level of Trap Queen Trap Queen was a fucking smash international smash
Starting point is 00:18:12 Taylor Swift is bringing fucking Fetty out Trap Queen was the biggest record of the year in my opinion it's one of the biggest records in the last couple years
Starting point is 00:18:20 I mean really to me and I think having a melody changes that from Migos and a Raish Murda it appeals to more people when it's something that you can hum and you hear it immediately and want to sing it oh no dude is definitely talented yeah dude is definitely talented I think that separates him from a Migos run and a Aray Shmurda run I agree I think he gives you that that feel that
Starting point is 00:18:38 all the other guys are doing but it's more appealing to like a broader audience and I don't really see him falling off really particularly. That's me personally. I don't think he's going to have four singles simultaneously like he currently has. But I think from now, all he needs is one to ride him out for six to eight months every time, and I think he could deliver that without a problem. Well, listen, when he come back around, he better come
Starting point is 00:18:57 back super strong. That's why I say he's got to come back quick, because you got to keep riding his way. He doesn't really appear to have too much versatility artistically? So there's always so much go it's over Well, come back implies that he went away for even a week. Well, that's true. That's true I'm sorry Again, it's still bubbling like again's about to move now and six seven nine still hasn't done what it's gonna do and six seven eight It's still out there
Starting point is 00:19:25 I was gonna buy the album until I love that. Favorite record from him, actually. I was gonna buy the album until I saw that Drake wasn't on my way. Oh, for real? Well, Drake never signed off on that to begin with, I don't believe. But why do it then?
Starting point is 00:19:34 But see, that's what Drake does. Aubrey. Like, I'll help you to the point where it's like, That's some bullshit, Aubrey. Nah, he signed. No, not really.
Starting point is 00:19:44 Oh, boy. Signed Tuesday. That's not really bullshit. Not. Nah, he signed. No, not really. Oh, boy. No, not really. Signed Tuesday. That's not really bullshit. Not really bullshit. I mean, it helps at the end of the day. It's not really bullshit. How not so? Tell me.
Starting point is 00:19:53 Me just getting on your record helps point blank, whether it's on an album or not. It brings more attention to it. Yeah, but I mean, that is true. But let's not act like, you know what I mean? That's like when Future first came out. I'm going to help you. And he didn't do the video. He did the verse on what was Future's big record? He did the verse and then he didn't appear in the video. So I was like, I'm going to help you to an extent.
Starting point is 00:20:14 He did the same shit like- Yeah, but that helps Drake too though. That helps Drake. Yeah, and that's why he does it though. It's for himself really. Well, Jay's known for doing that too. Yeah, but you got to- Jumping on something.
Starting point is 00:20:24 Jumping on a nice wave. And Fetty has always said like, yo, I respect it. Heing on a nice wave, man. And Fetty has always said, like, yo, I respect it. He didn't even have to do all that. He reached out to me, asked me, can I freestyle on your record? When I saw Drake at, whatchamacallit, Governance Ball, he did that record. Yeah, it's a big record. As he should. In his room. Like, he recorded it on some shit, but like, you know.
Starting point is 00:20:39 Drake got, listen, Drake getting on something is too much power. Was he threw it on SoundCloud, unmixed, unfinished, like cut Monty's verse off, just like put it out there. Like if you're going to do it, at least make it a little nicer. You just said, you just said he cut out Monty's verse. Yeah, but like, but not even, not even like, hold on, not even like, sorry Monty. Marissa, hold up for a sec, we're going to get these jokes off. No, no, no, no, no, for real.
Starting point is 00:21:01 But it wasn't even, I'm trying to. Marissa, Marissa, Marissa. Monty called Drake and said, take me off this joint. I'm talking about he let one thing go. We're trying to tell jokes, Marissa. So pardon us while we get our jokes off. Hey, Monty. Check this out for a second.
Starting point is 00:21:18 You my guy, right? Just go sit in the corner. Let me get this Drake run off. I mean, that's what Fetty should have told Monty, right? I don't think anybody was too upset. That's it. Let me get this Drake run off You know what I mean That's what Fetty should've told Monty Right I don't think anybody Was too upset That's it Let me weigh this here
Starting point is 00:21:29 I'm sure Monty didn't say A word either I'm sure he was completely Comfortable with his man Getting a Drake verse Hey do I get this new Fire drizzy verse That no one had
Starting point is 00:21:37 Or I was talking about pub though Right Monty Nah but listen Monty's verse is the one That plays on radio Yes
Starting point is 00:21:43 So I wouldn't even be mad But can I get My. So I wouldn't even be mad. But can I just make my statement? Because I wasn't done. We don't care. I care. All right, listen. Check this out.
Starting point is 00:21:55 Yeah, we can still hear her, so you might as well give her the mic back. I'm giving you the mic back, but we're moving from this topic now. Okay? All right. Here, don't make me take it from you again. All right, yeah, because we're not that invested. Fetty Wap's album is out. Go get it. Support our fellow Jersey artists.
Starting point is 00:22:08 It's dope. He doesn't need any more push-fuck. He's got 20 singles out there. Anyway, so what are we doing? It's your show. Are you going? Is Rory going to DJ? I am.
Starting point is 00:22:21 Oxcore God. Okay. Got the exclusives. Now, how should we do? Why do you have my album? You have the real final mixed one too. I do. I do. I have the right one. Alright, now. Should we be speaking before these records
Starting point is 00:22:34 or after these records? I feel like after because they have to hear the words to Yeah, I feel maybe after. Also, we didn't prepare on what snippets or verses we want to play. You're playing in a fucking order. You're playing all of us first. No, no, no. I'm not saying the order.
Starting point is 00:22:48 We go trackless. I'm saying what particular verses in each record that we want to play. That's too much. Let's start it from the top. Start it from the top. All of us, man. Come on. We'll talk after and during.
Starting point is 00:23:00 Oh, yeah. Beautiful music. Beautiful music. Beautiful music. Austin, that sound okay? Of course it sounds okay. It's my album. Of course it sounds okay.
Starting point is 00:23:13 I mixed it. Oh! Just when I thought I can't dig any deeper Said my last shit was trash and they dig when it's deeper They ain't see what I see, I guess my vision was weaker They bought me to hear me so we could skip all the features I'm like, woke me up with the pitch So it's in English now since they ain't wanna hear French Ain't wanna hear Wins, ain't want me with Kirko They ain't wanna hear me happy, now they lookin' for her Show they'll hate it before they hear it if they think it's commercial
Starting point is 00:23:45 And so they patiently waitin' for my fortune's reversal, check it It's like ever since bundles passed, took the high road and watched everybody underpass Truth be told, God been lookin' out so much that I feel guilty when I ask Him for more Then I do it like this shit ain't never happened before This is all a while laying on my bathroom floor Hold up, I'm just asking him, give me strength to grow up By now I'm sick and tired of laying in my own throw up It's a given, then self-pity hits me
Starting point is 00:24:14 And I start to feel like I don't deserve to be forgiven Like when you can't think, talking when you don't drink But sneaking around your own kitchen Cause you gotta get a swig and I got issues Weeding vodka will settle some Well ain't that the pot calling the kettle one I know niggas so broke that they embezzle funds Too busy waiting for a chance that ain't never come But this is bigger than having a debt
Starting point is 00:24:36 I mean I can't stop my brain from imagining death Then out the clear blue sky I cry random tears Used to it, me and depression been a tandem for years I suffer from self doubt, put a cramp in my fears If there's a God, this'll be the purpose, bein' to appear I'm not a street nigga, never claimed that sport And some of that train of thought's insane, had to abort So, so, people say I changed, I believe I should
Starting point is 00:24:59 Even so, the goal's always been the leaderhood None of this should be a chapter,'all. Logic says if you still there that's enough to y'all. Since you want a nigga furthest from his dream gloves gone. D.O.A.
Starting point is 00:25:11 Once we left the murder scene. When your love comes the trust comes. I can't get my heart with a snub nose. I don't give a fuck y'all.
Starting point is 00:25:19 You just fade out. Get the fuck out of here Rory. Trying to fade out like you're mad and professional. Don't fade out. Don't fade out. Young fade out. Well Joe left to go smoke a cigarette in the You're trying to fade out like you're mad and professional. The fade out. The fade out.
Starting point is 00:25:26 Young fade out. All right, well, Joe left to go smoke a cigarette in the middle of his... Are you serious? Is that where he went? ...of his album snippets. Come on, Joey. So, Park, is there anything you can tell us about this record since you were the engineer of this entire album? I mean, I think Joey better start it off so you can tell us where he came from.
Starting point is 00:25:39 Oh, nice of you to join us while we play your album. All right. We are back up in the... i'm back all right what are we saying we're talking about the first record we just faded out yeah had the ill typical button fade out so that was uh it's not well maybe it's typical uh so that was all i've lost that was the first title uh title track and the very first track and the intro and all these things that record didn't start out um as the intro i don't think uh i had that in mind when i made that album but when i made the song but because we made
Starting point is 00:26:12 it so early in the process that was one of the first songs we did i feel like it was i got to just vent on all of the fuck shit that was going on and it was a lot of fuck shit going on at the time there was a lot of uh no love lost backlash it was a lot of slaughterhouse turmoil there was a lot of random women in and out of my life that was great we covered we we touched we covered all the bases on that one so it made sense that we started with that one shout out to uh uh jared dark night really did an amazing job With that one And of course
Starting point is 00:26:47 We had to let the guitars Rock at the end Shout out to Jeremy Shout out to Jeremy Of course you have to Purchase the album To hear that Because these niggas
Starting point is 00:26:55 Is haters So yeah Anything you guys Want to add about That one Fire B That first verse Thank you E That's definitely The first verse. Thank you, E.
Starting point is 00:27:05 That's definitely, the first verse is one of my favorite verses on the album for sure. Interesting. Me and Imani have been going back and forth about our favorite verses on the album. I never really looked at the first one to that. I didn't either.
Starting point is 00:27:20 That was dope. Maybe because I've heard it like a thousand times. Yeah, I mean, we had it so long. We probably recorded that song. Don't tell him, don't tell him. Don I've heard it like a thousand times. Yeah, I mean, we had it so long. We probably recorded that song and we're like, don't tell him, don't tell him, don't tell him.
Starting point is 00:27:28 Well, everything else on the album is new. No, everything is new. I mean, it's all new. It's all new to them. I mean, you probably played that shit
Starting point is 00:27:36 on the damn Ustream anyway, so they probably know how old it is. And nothing is that old. It's not that old. Thank you, Parks. Unplug his mic. What song is after All Love Lost?
Starting point is 00:27:49 We had Imani on All Love Lost until he was fucking bitching and complaining. I think he's still got some backgrounds in there. No, my backgrounds are still in there. Are they? I thought those were mine. He's got backgrounds on, I think, every song on the album. Why are you mad? Why you don't want to be on it?
Starting point is 00:28:00 Because I don't want to be featured on the record. Okay. Imani is trying to distance himself from me. No, I'm not trying. I'm trying to. Wait, I thought you were on a record. Me and Jadakiss. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:28:11 No, what happened is. His rap friends. No, what happened is I wanted to step aside and contribute in a different form and not have people look at me like a hook guy. He's still very much contributed. Like the hook guy. Yeah, I'm not, you know. Yeah, he contributed a lot guy. He's still very much contributed to everything. Yeah, he contributed a lot, so he's there.
Starting point is 00:28:29 I thought those were my background vocals. They are, too. You're in there a little bit. Park, anything that I sing on, Park just fucking phases it out completely. This is not true. I'll let him do that just to keep him happy and get rid of it. Or he turns it all the way down
Starting point is 00:28:45 and I'm hip to it. I keep the lows in there. Oh, thanks. They're all lows. My eyes are low. What is... You should definitely skip Broke.
Starting point is 00:28:56 Broke is the next record but everyone's heard that so I need to play that one. We can skip Broke. Playing Our Part is next. Playing Our Part that's actually
Starting point is 00:29:03 the next track available if you have the pre-order. But fuck that shit. We're going to play it here, Bill. Oh, come on. Make them pre-order it. Don't do that. Make them pre-order this shit
Starting point is 00:29:15 before they can hear it. Come on. Yeah, pre-order the album now on iTunes. Yeah, but if you listen to it and you like the song, you will pre-order it. Play the first five seconds of that shit and cut it off.
Starting point is 00:29:24 Why? That doesn't make any sense at all I don't understand play the fucking shit the same way we just played the last one and if you have the pre-order you will get the whole song
Starting point is 00:29:33 I don't that doesn't take a rocket scientist here Roy doesn't you got it DJ Roy play it Roy didn't want any music to ever be played
Starting point is 00:29:40 because I want you to sell a fucking album yeah Joe Joe got a weird knock it off a weird business Abby B No we'll talk about that Later too
Starting point is 00:29:46 But uh Yeah play it Yeah we'll talk about that Soon too Oh cause Joe cares About his fans I just happened Man fuck the name
Starting point is 00:29:53 Let them go spend That money man Man play the fucking songs Play ass for you guys It's fucking Executive decision Making skills Alright
Starting point is 00:30:02 There we go That's beautiful You wanna put a drop? Uh-oh. By the way, that is my ooze. When you're the person singing on this, that's me. They actually make the songs. I try.
Starting point is 00:30:13 I try. I thought that was my ooze. No, we turned your shit down. I've been misleading you guys. Damn it. Misleading you all, giving you half of me I've been blazing a trail and leaving casualties I've diagnosed myself, I think it's apathy So letting go became easy Grabbing a hold, that's the hardest I know our expiration date, soon as we started
Starting point is 00:30:33 You come around and you feel safe, while you a target You feel like I let you inside, while I'm guarded It's genius when arrogance seems like it's modest Look past the insanity glance, pathologic Appears optional, all of it is stipulated Arrogance seems like it's modest Look past the insanity glance Pathologic appears optional All of it is stipulated Watch and learn how emotions get manipulated Now you and Diane need a help
Starting point is 00:30:52 You the victim Made to think you did it to yourself Speaking of, rest in peace Sandra Blame me, I'm believing anything that wasn't on that can But back to you, beauty Let me address our low movement You in therapy, but I don't see the improvement On whatever they made, damn day or night
Starting point is 00:31:08 So how many months I pondered, what the fuck are we doing? Let me watch my words again You easily got one of the best pussies that I ever been inserted in You real kind, real sweet, real nurturing Yet every time I like, man, I tell you just kidding You put all men in a box, I ain't one of them Funny how you got all my answers and one of them funny You only dated three men so I'm scared of you
Starting point is 00:31:29 Cause with no point of reference what the fuck are you comparing to You good one minute cycle to next No longer letting it ride too much Jekyll and Hyde Then you subtweet for weeks busy setting your pride I'm grown don't really need that sort of mess in my life You evade you owe to walk in from my emotions yours controls you You bright enough to know when you get impulsive for me. That's repulsive. How did you not know this? Then we go a separate way
Starting point is 00:31:57 Just to link back on better days Turn that shit up fucking minute fucking minutes. Turn the fucking song up, man. What are you doing? Are you good? Turn the hook. You know what? Let's just leak it. You're supposed to let the hook go. You let it go. What is wrong with you?
Starting point is 00:32:11 That's a whole. It's a snippet. You can start fading down. It's six minutes long. What are you talking about? That's cool. We don't yell over this whole shit. I mean, you guys want to talk over the whole shit.
Starting point is 00:32:22 Right. Yeah. Yeah, so you can't just rip it this copy was intended for you fade that shit out
Starting point is 00:32:38 there we go damn we can't even mouth who it is now because we have cameras and shit yo who we all know who it is besides you
Starting point is 00:32:44 oh fuck you guys all my friends know We can't even mouth who it is now because we have cameras and shit. It's true. We all know who it is besides you. Oh, fuck you guys. All my friends know. And I do know. Next song is Man Down? Man Down is the next one. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:00 Man Down, playing our part and Man Down were late additions. Half of this album was late additions True I would say Yeah Man Down Man Down I just felt was really needed Some hip hop shit Yeah Bars What bars?
Starting point is 00:33:15 Bars I wish you could skip straight to the third verse The aggressiveness Would you like to skip straight to the third verse? If we could I think Tars on the chorus Do we have any idea what time frame that might be?
Starting point is 00:33:24 That's what I'm like, yeah. No, but if you turn your volume really down on your laptop, and then you just forward about two and a half minutes. You can fade up. Do a little fade up if you want to get nice with it. I don't know, man. Teach this guy how to do this here. I think that's a good spot to start.
Starting point is 00:33:44 Sure. We're in there now. Yeah, that's right. When we talk about skill, they just nub me again I know I'm out for the kill, they just duck me again But I was born for the storm, I mean abnormal's the norm Maybe they wanna know how long will they mourn They want a man down They want me mad, I'm mad I'm wishing this was a dream, maybe a smoke in this mirror Wish I could change it all just by blowing smoke in the mirror
Starting point is 00:34:40 Spent such a long ride, wishing I was on the side To get caffeine pills to stay awake But sure I'm priced if I was by Eric Gartner How they yelled at the pigs, gave them all my cash You wouldn't have had to sell that cig Shout to Bobby Christina, let her know that I love her Wish she was alive or didn't die the same as her mother Maybe my thinking is off, when I blink I can throw a bullet
Starting point is 00:35:01 Shake in the door and tape around Ching's Porsche See it damage my heart, I be writing Yams car To get the door And tape around Ching's Porsche See it damage my heart I be writin' Yav's car To get the perp out his car And get his hands off the bar Tail stacked and I miss him See we losin' a lot I wanna hear from your kid
Starting point is 00:35:14 I still miss dude Scott Chris, Lottie, Robin, Will Still to this day I pray nobody ever feel that way Too many men down I played a lot of guitars in this album. That was great. Did you really? Go Parks. Parks on the tar. Oh, my fuck. I just dropped my candy corn on the floor. Actually, you know what?
Starting point is 00:35:51 The second verse in Man Down, though a lot of people won't mention it when the album is released, that's one of my favorite verses on this album, personally. One of. I don't know if it's in the top. I got to figure out what my top three
Starting point is 00:36:04 or top five verses are I know what number one is Oh number one is easy for me Number one is easy for me too Yeah I know what my number one is And I know what my number Yeah That's my favorite
Starting point is 00:36:17 And number two is third verse On Where Do We Go I like Immortal too much too To really cut all the verses But it's hard to pull one verse to itself It's funny you bring that up That's the next record It's funny that you say that though
Starting point is 00:36:31 Because I love Immortal so much as a whole I couldn't pull a verse from it I agree I think Immortal is the most important record on here I don't know about that I think it brings the album together I think it's well placed in the middle
Starting point is 00:36:45 and it brings everything together. Immortal is such an amazing record. When I think of Immortal, I just always go back to, again, Immortal was one of the earlier records
Starting point is 00:36:55 that we did and the second verse that I had was really whack originally. It was a really... What was I doing? I don't know Yo you know what it was
Starting point is 00:37:07 I heard this flow And I did the flow On the first verse And we laid it And hit it out the park And you tried to And you tried to Then you
Starting point is 00:37:16 I left it And it was a train wreck Yeah And Parks was trying to find The nicest way to tell him Yo Now Parks and I We haven't had that many moments in the studio where he's had to say, yo, fam, that verse right there.
Starting point is 00:37:30 Yeah, nah. Nah. Wasn't it, bruh, bruh? But that original second verse to Immortal. But nah, but you know what? I think the last eight bars was the same. It wasn't the words. It was the way you floated.
Starting point is 00:37:42 Yeah, it was horrible. But we fixed it. We fixed it. We fixed it. It's really good now. And it's amazing. Shout out to Vinyls and Boy Wonder, who charged me fucking my whole budget. You know what's funny, man? That's how I know Immortal is such a great song.
Starting point is 00:37:59 Because they charged me one of them prices where it's like, do I need this song? No, no, no. You need's like, do I need this song? No, no, no. You need it. Yeah, I need this song. I might be wrong, but I think Immortal was the first song we did. It wasn't the first. It's the first one maybe that made it. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:38:15 I really, because we did this back in when Preem Studios was in headquarters. All of Lost was done out in Totowa. Yeah, I'm saying The ones that made it Yeah But I think I really If I can remember correct Oh you think this was the first song
Starting point is 00:38:30 I think this was the very first Complete song that we did for the album Dead serious I could be I could tell you that But I don't I don't know I don't know if I
Starting point is 00:38:37 If it's not the first It's the second Yeah it's one of them It's one of them There was a couple that were Like half finished That we didn't ever Yeah we got the fuck out of here
Starting point is 00:38:44 Yeah And then there's a couple That ended like half finished that we didn't ever. Yeah, we got the fuck out of here. And then there's a couple that ended up in different places. I won't say what and where. All right, so let's hear Immortal. I'm on the hook singing, but I'm not featured. Thank you. You're welcome. Yeah, you might as well be featured.
Starting point is 00:38:59 You can tell everybody what you want. Do you have album credits? Like a little additional vocals? What if the hunger was missing? What if the passion was gone? If we truthfully speaking never saw it last in this long? If the words didn't rival, what I do for a living? I did album credits. I'm in there.
Starting point is 00:39:15 Fuck that. Guess what? Never paid no mind to the cause. My thinking is so complex, simplicity can get lost. What if everybody was real and I wasn't surrounded by frauds? The moral in that is so priceless just cause I know what it costs Looking back, damn near every problem I had it Never got them retracted, I combated
Starting point is 00:39:33 Problematic, every problem of a headache But that's just the way the cards felt Heartfelt, but can you be cheated if God dealt? Fuck this shit, only regret that I had Is ever being regretful, I mean they all tried to kill me, none of them was successful A few I knew for some years, some never met me and tried But you can't kill nothing that's ready to die They say I'm in my own way, own way and that's fine
Starting point is 00:39:58 I'm just living my own way, own way like I can't die They can't move my heart, my soul, and my tank is tough The air I breathe and the ground below No way, no way, let them all try That's how we feel, we can't smoke in here for real That's a cigarette sign That's how it feels to be gonna feel? That's a cigarette. Hold on, hold on.
Starting point is 00:40:26 Let my vocal ride out. Are you hearing me? I turned you off in this one. No, I have to. I have to do. He told me to turn you down. Yeah, I gotta start taking some of my vocal credit, too. I'm up in that piece. Aw, remember SLV?
Starting point is 00:40:39 Remember SLV. Well, you bodied unnecessary pain. Huh? Your vocals on Unnecessary Pain were great. On what? Unnecessary Pain. Yeah, they were real great before Parks turned them all the way down. And then I hit him and said, hey, Parks, I need these up.
Starting point is 00:40:54 And then he sent it to me down still. Parks is amazing, man. It's a plug-in I use, man. I don't know. Yeah, yeah. It's a plug-in I use. Something happened. Something happened.
Starting point is 00:41:03 I don't know. That was funny What's the next record? Love I'm Good I love this song I thought we were Going to do that last No?
Starting point is 00:41:11 No We're going in order right now But didn't he want to Play the whole song? You know we doing The first verse? I just want to play The third verse
Starting point is 00:41:18 I want to play The entire song Now I want people To buy that song Yeah No I want to play The whole song Let's just talk all over
Starting point is 00:41:23 The whole song No I want to play The whole song That song's just talk all over the whole song. No. I want to play the whole song. That song is eight minutes long. Great. So let's play it. It's time to play it. My parking's only good until 8.14.
Starting point is 00:41:32 Yeah, let's not wait until the end of the show because I want to talk at the end of the show. I do want to talk still. Let's play Love, I'm Good. Love, I'm Good is produced by A-Rab. And Karan. You know, and Karan. Shout out to Karan of SLV. Why do I keep sneezing?
Starting point is 00:41:48 What the fuck? Because you blessed, bro. You know what happened? With Love I'm Good, we went to Detroit to work on the Slaughterhouse album. And when we came back, I said, you know,
Starting point is 00:42:04 because you get indifferent. Sometimes you can hear a beat in September and not like it, and you'll be really into that same beat in January. So when we left the, when I came back home, you know, A-Rab always sends me a million beats. And I said, you know what, just to be sure, let me listen to these beats that A-Rab sent. And sure enough, I heard this beat and i said
Starting point is 00:42:26 why didn't i rap on this beat and and we went right in immediately and it just so happens that at the time i don't know i wanted to change this first verse but in retrospect i'm really glad that i didn't yeah because it makes all the sense in the world on this album i kept telling him from the jump He kept saying Listen You don't leave that Fucking verse alone man
Starting point is 00:42:47 That's one of the best Verses on there Reoccurring People really do enjoy That album I mean that verse A reoccurring theme On this album
Starting point is 00:42:55 And a lot of these records Naturally would be One woman But two hip hop And that's addressed On the first verse So we'll let this play Play this i can talk
Starting point is 00:43:05 over the intro still um shout out to asia i was about to say you're gonna shit on asia's intro shout out shout out to asia who i'm not even speaking to asia right now but but asia is one of my friends who has absolutely no idea what love is so we just asked her to go we asked her to go in the booth and we said, hey, define love. And we got a great intro. Yeah. And shout out to Parks. Did you rearrange this?
Starting point is 00:43:33 Because on the first one, I didn't love it. But now I love it. You didn't love what? Her talking. Her talking in the beginning. On the first one, yeah. Because I just took a lot. I just go.
Starting point is 00:43:44 First of all, let's be clear. Parks is going to take credit for everything. Hey, Parks, did you paint this wall right here? I did not paint this wall. I did rearrange ages for both of them. I don't really like this white. I did. How did you come up with this? Word.
Starting point is 00:43:56 Let's get into it. Asia ended up having a pretty good studio voice. She does. Yeah. Because Asia sounds like me. She sounds like the girl version. I don't quit. If I was a girl,
Starting point is 00:44:10 this is how I would sound. I know what love is. I'm in a household full of love. But I just don't know if I know what it is in regard to a relationship. It is. Why is it so hard to find?
Starting point is 00:44:22 Because when you're in love in a relationship, you guys have to compromise, you guys have to kind of concede to one another. And I don't think I've ever really done that for anybody. I've tried. I'm just not very successful at it.
Starting point is 00:44:41 Um... Why don't I know what love is? Because I'm just not there. Don't ask. Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever really find it. Here we go. To my dear, dearly departed. Shit's becoming all that I feared.
Starting point is 00:45:01 Here's where it started. Seems to nothing, jazz it appears. Where it's retarded. No wonder I get spared by my peers. Yeah, I'm coming all that I feared, here's where it started Seems that nothing's as it appears, swear it's retarded No wonder I get smeared by my peers, yeah, I'm a target It used to take a nation of millions for niggas not to be America's most Gave America hope back when the music had a message in it We was rebels against it, the best was intended, the less and the gimmicks But now, y'all made a mess of it
Starting point is 00:45:22 And somebody gotta address this shit Rakim will never wear a dress and shit I'm not a pessimist to say I ain't impressed with it You hear it bad, you think it's alive Now that's the definite When it was all about bars, wanted to wet in it Surround yourself with bullshit, you'll be liable to step in it Came in with one objective, getting it further
Starting point is 00:45:41 Now I'm watching my first long dive witness a murder When comments stop loving, oh girl girl What was he telling me? Cold world Now she won't dig you without a melody Love nerds used to be into niggas with felonies We need a new president Where the fuck is Eric B? Or did my wordplay confuse her? Now I see a young fuckin' future Like what did you niggas do to her now? My generalization is this generation The imminent state of this gentrification
Starting point is 00:46:07 Desensitization, I call her she in Marvin's room Everything is awkward now She moved more to South, deserted her New Yorker crowd Met her with a cane, she changed, preferred to walk it out Stopped eating meat when she heard I worked in a slaughterhouse Now she's a new dame, glued to the fame She used to hate accessorizing, now she's wearing two chains Relationship too strange, I don't know who
Starting point is 00:46:28 to blame When I tell her you've changed, she say who would be the same? She right, cause this ain't the way we knew each other Or do I face the fact that maybe we outgrew each other? It took a while, but that's finally understood She wouldn't change if she could, I swear if this is real, I'm good Hey, things change, I can see it clear in fact Now it's finally understood she wouldn't change if she could Swap this is love I'm good Hey things change I can see it clear in fact
Starting point is 00:46:48 Staring at these four walls angry that they staring back Took a while now it's finally understood Will we change it if we could? Swap this is love I'm good Why is it so hard to find? When you find no great love Why is life so fucked up? I was lying somewhere just waiting for you Why is it so fucked up? I was waiting somewhere, just waiting for you
Starting point is 00:47:05 Why is it so hard to find me? Can't really go I can't get with you at all, the issue is tall You tied to every nigga now, the dribble's a ball Did I miss a red flag? You wasn't fickle before I can't even ridicule y'all, that'd be a bitter resolve Wanna talk about our history I feel like anything you say is contradictory
Starting point is 00:47:24 Whenever you come visit me I look at you and see remembrance Remnants, plenty resentments It's not you but there's resemblance We diss each other all out of fun Shit amuses me You threaten any girl that I'm with That just confuses me Say you want kids real soon Now that's abuse to me And I just write about it in song You're like a muse to me I wanna ask you where you see yourself in five years How you goin' about that, like what's the verdict?
Starting point is 00:47:50 I wanna ask if you ever replay the past over And if you do when you finished is it worth it? I wanna ask if we love each other so much How do we cause each other so much pain? Feeling all in each other's lives we remain without a claim I know some will call that clinically insane How do we remedy the gains? With one's enemies and in their energy refrain Was it meant to be the synergy had us mentally drained?
Starting point is 00:48:15 Minimally spray, so relentlessly it aims Despite when you said you could never depend on me again Or, still we're here as if none of this had ever taken place Are we checking to see if someone's taking our place? As we front like we're taking up space I think currently the current we is making our case But for what? Would that just seal it again? Did it all hurt so much that we wanna feel it again?
Starting point is 00:48:38 I doubt it Took a while, still nothing's understood Would we change it if we could? I swear I'm good Hey, things change I can see it clear in fact Staring at these four walls Nothing's understood what we changed I said this riff is gonna be a lot of fun. I was talking all over the kids. I'm saying let's talk over it. This is what made me the one to do it. I can see the pain in your eyes. Don't talk over this.
Starting point is 00:49:10 I want to fix it. But all your words are fueling my pride. So I'm dismissive. You think I want to sit in this courtroom talking supervised. Scrutinized by shooting ties. You a lie. You could cry. The conditions of you and I can't escape it.
Starting point is 00:49:23 Eight lines she told you over the years, I'm face to face with Now they've manifested You overwhelmed and congested, been feeling neglected I gotta respect it, I can't explain to your so young brain Since our first exchange, you've been kept from me Used against his weaponry, and as much as I hate her I'd never dare play your mother like that For you to judge her like that
Starting point is 00:49:44 Just a lesson later on that you'll discover like that We not alone in this process, no, it's others like that But you spew these sly remarks like, why are we here? Like, why are you near? Like, why do you care? I have to spare, I gotta eat that See, you gotta grudge, lil' nigga We flesh and blood, lil' nigga No ifs, ands, or buts, lil' nigga You can think your dad is nuts, lil' nigga I'm talkin' to you cause you came out or buts, lil' nigga You could think your dad is nuts, lil' nigga I'm talkin' to you cause you came out of my nuts, lil' nigga
Starting point is 00:50:08 That's my stance on the matter, I won't budge, lil' nigga And I tell that to your mother and the judge, lil' nigga At our next court date, you gon' see that it's true Funny my condescending ways, I kinda see them in you Man, the reasons when I'm annoyed, Jeff, I'm seeing that too I'm smellin' it, my ir my regimes, I kinda think that it's cute I was you twenty years ago when pop popped up But nothing like you, sad how life will recycle a cycle
Starting point is 00:50:32 You miss an intel only a dad can give Can't expect you to understand this doesn't matter to a kid And since our situation's not understood I would fix it if I could, I swear if it's enough, I'm good Hey, things change, I can fix it if I could I swear if it's my life I'm good Hey things change I can see it clear Back staring at these four walls Angry that they stay You can turn it down, nah?
Starting point is 00:50:51 That's a big one Man that shit is So I don't think that third verse has ever been done in hip hop period Yeah that shit is like emotional like I be getting choked up when I fucking hear it I told him my sons if one of my sons get old and want to talk crazy to me, I'm playing this shit for him. I'm going to diss them niggas.
Starting point is 00:51:08 Yeah. Yeah. I support that. You don't say. No, I just, from a very honest place, number one, that was a real life, real events, real emotions. And, I mean, documenting your emotions is nothing new to Joe Budden. I know a bunch of people going baby to relate to that.
Starting point is 00:51:31 Yeah, too many times. Don't get me started on my fucking scorned, bitter fucking baby father rant that I could go on right now because I won't. But yeah, that verse, that's probably my favorite verse in the album. No, not probably, definitely. Definitely my favorite verse in the album. The probably Definitely Definitely my favorite verse on the album The second verse on that record Is one of my personal favorites too
Starting point is 00:51:48 If I had to do a top five The second one is in there too I can be alone in that I love that verse Now that verse is hard I just feel like I've heard you do that verse before Only because I kinda
Starting point is 00:51:59 I guess The way that the verse is done No it is The way that the verse is done and what is said in the verse. Yeah, I don't know if I've ever gone in depth that way. But, oh, it's all gloomy in here now. My whole mood is literally down. I'm trying to look at Twitter to get happy. I don't know what to do right now.
Starting point is 00:52:24 It's super gloomy in here now I finished all my candy corn I will say Just to switch topics real quick You talked about a lot of women on the album Yes? No Okay, let's hypothetically say
Starting point is 00:52:36 So you have this reputation Of being with attractive women Whether you want to say it or not And we couldn't figure out what it was. What what was? But what causes you to get all these women. And I think I had an idea on maybe why you get all these beautiful women.
Starting point is 00:52:57 Well, Rory, what rapper? No, no, no, no, no. I don't think it's that. I don't think it's that. Rory, why don't you tell me what it is? Actually, can I say? Have you been using maybe like a new shaving product? Rory, it's so funny that you say that.

Starting point is 00:53:51 It is. All amazeballs in the world. Yes, it does. Wait, what is the next record? Make It Through the Night. No, they got to buy the album for that. Oh, it's lit. They got to buy the album for that one.
Starting point is 00:54:01 Why that one in particular? It's the only feature. It's the most features. It's the only feature on the the most features It's the only feature On the app The only rap feature And yeah the most features Yeah
Starting point is 00:54:09 Yeah they gotta buy the album For that one The features Marsha Ambrosius And Jadakiss Which you can see On iTunes anyways Yeah
Starting point is 00:54:17 Oh my god That was horrible That was bad I was personally I thought you coughed Can I say that I fought for this record And there's
Starting point is 00:54:24 Like I was personally Investing in this record Because For one I just always Wanted. Can I say that? I fought for this record. And I was personally investing in this record because, for one, I just always wanted to hear Joe and Kiss on the record. For sure. And then two, I love Marsha. Marsha got off on that. I think Marsha is amazing vocally. Yeah. And it's one of the first records that was around. So I just always thought it was dope.
Starting point is 00:54:46 I don't know. It's a great record. Personally attached to it. So it's a dope record. Well, after Make It Through the Night is Slaughter Mouse, which he's been on mad interviews talking about. So I think we can totally skip that one. We can skip Slaughter Mouse.
Starting point is 00:54:59 Where Do We Go is already on pre-order now. I don't know if there's something you want to talk about, but we don't have to play that because it's already out. You can buy it on iTunes right now. No. Shout out to Eric Bell. Where Do We Go is another one of our records that we did fairly recently. Well, it was a completely different beat.
Starting point is 00:55:17 Yeah, we did the original version a while ago. It was horrible. The versions were great. I just didn't like how it was arranged. It wasn't even, it was just the newer version is way better. That's all.
Starting point is 00:55:28 What was the old, I don't really remember the old version. You wasn't around I don't think when we did it. Oh yeah, he wasn't. Ah, y'all brought me in for this one.
Starting point is 00:55:36 Like fix this. I fixed this one. Yo, it sucks. Where's Imani? No Joe, no Joe. Give me that. Give me that. Is your name in the credits
Starting point is 00:55:43 on this one too? Oh, of course. Okay. Well, he wrote the hook. I played a lot on this one too? Of course. Of course. I played a lot on this one too actually. Did you just say singed it? Borden. How about everyone just take credit for something?
Starting point is 00:55:52 Yeah, we are. Rory just said Eric Bellinger singed it. All right. Should we keep talking about it? I said singed it. Pardon me. Holy shit. Singed is not a word.
Starting point is 00:56:02 I'm aware. I didn't know. Because you guys never say slang words, so it's fine. I don't know if it's a slang word. I never even slanged it. We were going to let it go, bro. But since you're egging it on. I don't even remember if I said singed it, but I guess I did.
Starting point is 00:56:16 You did. All right, but listen, we don't care. That's not slang. What's the definition of slang? That's some shit you can't put a definition to it it's not slang
Starting point is 00:56:27 unless someone else says it I'm sure people have said singed yeah you can't be the only one to say it
Starting point is 00:56:33 I'm sure people have said singed I think they said sing nah I've never heard it never heard singed never heard singed
Starting point is 00:56:41 just bat out of this one man what's the next record no alright so the next record is Unnecessary Pain. Featuring my girl, Yummy. Come on, Imani.
Starting point is 00:56:50 Jump in with some credit. Oh, Yummy. I love her. Jump in and take some credit. That record should have a camera still. You know what's so funny, though? Joe's funny. What's so funny?
Starting point is 00:56:57 Let me tell you why Joe's funny. Let's hear it. Why is Joe funny? This is not taking credits. This is informing the listeners and the fans. Of your contribution to this record. No, just how these records come about You know, how they made
Starting point is 00:57:08 So, as I gloat a little bit more Basically About Yummy I really love her voice I was on this record at first Okay With Felicia Temple, who's also still on the record Shout out to her
Starting point is 00:57:19 Who's also dope And I told Joe I think that it should just be a female vocalist And I love Yummy. And he's very familiar with Yummy. And he loved the voice too. And he called her, reached out. She came in and killed the record. Yummy'd it up.
Starting point is 00:57:34 Yeah, she killed the record. Marty, Marty, Marty. Marty. Don't do that. Made it tasty? No. No? Okay.
Starting point is 00:57:40 This candy corn shit. What the fuck? She yummy'd it up. Made it fuck? She yummy it up. Slang, bro. That is slang. That is slang. Let's play the record. Yummy, I fought for your intro, too.
Starting point is 00:58:00 I was outvoted. 100% outvoted. 100% outvoted. Yeah. Stay the same. Stay the same. Oh, you can hear Joe in this, too. Oh, cool. Man, what? Joe, man. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:58:19 It's the plug-in, man. The plug-in's weird. Yeah, yeah, I know. The words cannot explain. We, yeah, I know. Joe can kind of sing, a little bit. He's like the first Anthony Hamilton. Let's hear it for Anthony. at our books I noticed the page missing blame it on the age difference I see you in the club nowadays you're resisting you used to get excited just to never pay admission looking for the hold you wish your shit was normal tried to mold you and you ended up with it on you live around the corner yeah we ain't even formal so I'm asking God why you alive and I gotta mourn you word I see you got a little crew now a bunch of ugly broke bitches, I know better than
Starting point is 00:59:25 And I ain't tryna say them hoes using you Well actually, who would I be kidding? Yes I am I see a life from far and something's off with it It's my fault and shit, I should've never altered it I sold a dream when you couldn't have known the cost of it Knew my love came with a pain and I still offered it Seeing your weight loss, knowing I'm the cause of it If that ain't my signature, then shit, somebody forging it
Starting point is 00:59:46 But you think I ain't hurt, like it ain't no guilt in me Like it ain't killing me, I'm out here on the killing spree A sickness, I ain't found a way to nurse you yet Like I ain't a nervous wreck, like it's no reverse effect Internal bleeding and the cuts run deep Every time I leave one love, a love one leaves I wish I could take the pain away But only yours, I'd be fine if I remained this way See a love boy leaves. I wish I could take the pain away. But only yours.
Starting point is 01:00:05 I'd be fine if I remained this way. See, I deserve whatever punishment I get. You can sentence me to years of hearing my big voice even when nothing is there. I still feel affection. I still hear you like we're talking on the phone. I still feel like you like you like you holding on to me. Words cannot explain. Great record. See, that's the thing about. I was going on and on in the video. Why can't I explain? Great record.
Starting point is 01:00:31 See, that's the thing about playing these songs. You want to hear them go. Well, not only that, but now my entire mood has shifted. That's true. Like, I'm not. We got to fight through and be happy. Yeah, yeah, yeah, man. It's like, God damn.
Starting point is 01:00:47 And I was doing pretty well with not playing my album in my car because I just felt I had done that enough and I needed to decompress and get away from it. I haven't played it yet, really, either. To my side. But, yeah, I'm going to have to go back. I'll put it on my phone the other day. On the way home now. Yeah, yeah, definitely.
Starting point is 01:00:58 Up to West Side Highway. Definitely. I got to hear it. You can't cut unnecessary pain. I was crazy. I got to hear that now. And lastly. Which was crazy. I got to hear that now. And lastly. Which was recorded last.
Starting point is 01:01:09 Lastly, right? And was recorded last. Because I thought that my album was finished. I did. Then we was at Club Deco. We were at Club Deco. I thought, you know, it was one of those weird phases where I thought my album was finished, but as an artist, I knew something was missing. It was one of those weird phases where I thought my album was finished, but as an artist, I knew something was missing.
Starting point is 01:01:27 It was one of those. Something is. Yeah, basically. I don't know what. I forgot what got clipped for this. Something is. Missing Pages got clipped. Oh, you're right.
Starting point is 01:01:38 Missing Pages, I felt, just didn't go. It's a great record, though. Yeah, great record. I wanted to hear that finally mixed. See how that sounded. I did, too. I did, did too let's just put that out too much because i'm on my next album it'll still be a great song it's crazy i went from almost a single to not on the album at all yeah yeah but we were at uh we were on club deco and we were just chilling um were you there no i was just stop telling everybody What shit is I was just asking
Starting point is 01:02:05 I didn't actually No It was just me You and the producer Boy Wonder And fucking Boy Wonder said He happened to be next door
Starting point is 01:02:15 And he hopped over And he said Yo I wanna play you some shit Yeah We started playing some shit And what are we gonna say No And it was all amazing
Starting point is 01:02:24 But Shout out to Boy Wonder He's nice Does he live in Toronto? Where's he from? Yeah but he was up here I want to play you some shit Yeah We started playing some shit And what are we going to say No And it was all amazing But He's nice Does he live in Toronto Where's he from Yeah but he was up here Doing some work Now the thing about that is You got to watch these
Starting point is 01:02:35 Amazing producers With their prices Because we could only afford Quit Aaron Quit Aaron Boy And he won his fucking price No but think about He deserves it He earned that price He deserves it Number one He's fucking price out here, man. No, but think about... He earned that price.
Starting point is 01:02:47 He deserves it. Number one, he... He's one of the greats, man. Yeah, he... Of this era, for sure. Of this time. He's definitely earned that price. But the thing I like about Boy Wonder is
Starting point is 01:02:56 he's not one of those bougie, hot-sididdy, like, I'm running with the hottest nigga in the hottest camp, and it's my price, and I'm not... Like, he's for hip-hop. Damn, now mad bum rappers are going to be hitting up Boy Wonder. No, no, no, no, no, no. He's about his money.
Starting point is 01:03:10 He's about his money. And he's a super nice guy. Super humble, super down-to-earth. Yeah, you would never think that his catalog is what it is. I feel like that whole team is like that, though. It's funny. We had a conversation the next day when we went out on Dykeman, and he came, and I was like, I just want to say out of all the rap people i've come across you and your
Starting point is 01:03:28 friends are by far the most humble and you guys are the hottest right now and i felt that kind of odd and i thought maybe it's a toronto thing because new york we're just that's our attitude all the time so maybe i wasn't used to being around people that are just generally nice to strangers but they're a great group yeah Yeah, some people you can look at and see how they got to where they are. Some people just deserve it. Like, I'm a dick,
Starting point is 01:03:54 so I don't deserve shit. Well, you deserve this boy, Wonderbeak. Pay for that shit. The funny thing about this, this wasn't our favorite boy, Wonderbeak. We liked another Boy Wonder. I liked the other one a lot too, actually. Since Parks is taking mad credit, I was going to take half A&R credit on this
Starting point is 01:04:11 because we decided the last two that we liked was this one and the other one, but that other one was going to be mad expensive. And it didn't really fit. They're kind of similar, actually, vibe-wise. This one was the better song to me. The other one was the better beat. I'm sure Drake could have took it and made it the greatest thing on the planet. But me, this is the better song.
Starting point is 01:04:32 So we went with this one, and it had a sample in it originally, so we had to deal with that. Which I love playing the original version with that sample, but it's great. I like that. It's sometimes different. Yeah, I like it like this. No, no, no no i think it's phenomenal like this but uh that sample hit crazy this is probably one of my one of my favorite
Starting point is 01:04:50 songs on the album it's it's my favorite overall song and mine too and i'm not sure if it's because it's new yeah but not in it because no not for me not for me it's not because it's new for me and be very clear because the deluxe version of the album has only human and fuck them all this song is the end of the album um on the album that i'm going to go and buy this song is the end you're not even gonna buy your own deluxe album no no because the body of work the way that i envisioned it this is the end although only Human is one of your better songs. They deserve to be on the platform at this level, to me, personally. I agree. It fits in the album, too.
Starting point is 01:05:29 I agree. But this is where the all-love-lost story comes to an end. It's just appropriate. So shout out to Boy Wonder. His beat is crazy. Yeah, his beat is amazing. It better be amazing. I'm fucking paid enough for this.
Starting point is 01:05:43 All right, so let's play this. This is the outro. beat is amazing. It better be amazing. I'm fucking paid enough for this. All right, so let's play this. This is the outro. This is it. I was going to rap even longer on this. Oh, cut that off. Cut that off. Cut that off. Oh, we got to tell the...
Starting point is 01:05:53 I was going to rap even longer on the first verse, but that didn't happen because Parks is a hater. Yeah, right. That's one. And two, before we knew that this would be the outro, we wanted Scarface on this record. Yep.
Starting point is 01:06:08 And, well, we tried Scarface and Beans. Yeah, we did try for Scarface and Beans. Again, I'm taking more A&R credit because you just wanted to rap on it.
Starting point is 01:06:15 I said, no, we need a future here. No, no, that's not it. You can't take A&R credit for something that didn't happen. I gave... Yeah, the A&R got to make it happen.
Starting point is 01:06:24 Like, yeah. I wanted to put James Deale. I did try to make it happen. I gave him Beans you already told me. Yeah, the A&R got a big impact. Like, yeah. I wanted to put James in there. I did try to make it happen. I gave him Bean's cell phone number. Paul McCartney was going to get all this shit, but it didn't happen. I got him fucking Bean's cell phone number. It didn't happen.
Starting point is 01:06:35 You can take my ID and credit. And I said... We was in the living room, and I said, yo, this needs Scarface. And you stopped walking, and you were like, yo, you're right.
Starting point is 01:06:42 It didn't happen. It didn't happen. That's your fault. It didn't happen. It didn't happen. That's your fault. It didn't happen. Why ever it didn't happen, it didn't happen. So you can't take credit for some shit that didn't happen. But Scarface and myself, we were in communication. But, you know, as it turns out,
Starting point is 01:06:56 in retrospect, in hindsight, I'm glad he didn't do it. I wouldn't have wanted, that would have created a new dilemma for me. I wouldn't have wanted Scarface have created A new dilemma for me I wouldn't have wanted Scarface's verse To end my album It would have been A really long song too Because it's already
Starting point is 01:07:11 What six seven minutes It's about seven minutes Six twenty two It would have been long And that's without Face Yeah Shout out to Face Yeah that's true
Starting point is 01:07:17 His only favorite rapper His album's really good too Yeah Face's album Is out right now Go pick that up And again He's one of my favorite rappers As well
Starting point is 01:07:24 And he did say yo joe man you destroyed that man but we gonna get together so uh and i told him i would hold him to that so scarface you owe me um so let's get into this you can't even talk over this let's get these thoughts off real quick i want to play this whole when i'm not going to no you can't yeah i want to thank you to do it when you can. It's like think of shit. Oh, it's my favorite record. When you got... Shit. Oh, and Imani's I was just about to say,
Starting point is 01:07:50 he kind of bodied the shit too. Wait, hold on. Get it off. Get it off. Now, he showed up on this record. Now, wait a minute.
Starting point is 01:07:57 That nigga's going to appreciate me one more time. I don't know what it is. He showed up on this. this is my issue with Imani. I don't understand how one minute... The listeners are going to hate us right now. One minute, he wants nothing to do with any feature.
Starting point is 01:08:13 But if the song is Dylon enough... That's not true. Hold on, hold on, hold on. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. Because Immortal, he wasn't on. He was on, but didn't take credit.
Starting point is 01:08:24 That's pretty Dylon. You think that nigga was saying, hey, take me off of this one. No, no, no. He was on, but didn't take credit. That's pretty dialogue. You think that nigga was saying, hey, take me off of this one. No, no, no. Oh, no, no, no, no. Not on the boy wonder beach. Oh, no, no, no. I mean, but who, I mean,
Starting point is 01:08:32 if we could have got someone who would have took it. Oh, come on, come on. All right, so listen. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. In defense, because we did Where Do We Go? And I liked my version. Yeah. But I said, I said I thought Eric or somebody else would have been better suited for it.
Starting point is 01:08:47 Listen. You know what I mean? I like Where Do We Go as well. However, you wasn't getting niggas to say, yo, dog, know that Love For You joint, the Boy Wonder shit? It'll take me off of there. That just wasn't happening. So, but wait, I do want to hear the hook.
Starting point is 01:09:05 The hook is so fire, but the verse is so long. How do we solve this? We could do the second verse. I was going to say we could start at the verse about your pops and let it go from there.
Starting point is 01:09:15 Well, yeah, that's the end of the first verse. That's the end of the first verse. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, fade up in the middle of something. Yeah, fade up. Fade up somewhere in the middle
Starting point is 01:09:21 of that long-ass fucking 80-bar first verse. There's no 16s on this whole album There's a 16 Oh yeah I'm broke Broke Broke No there's another And they forced him to do that
Starting point is 01:09:32 Immortal has 16 Immortal's 16 Where Do We Go Is it? Has a 16 Two of them Okay I think my second favorite verse is 16 on Where Do We Go
Starting point is 01:09:40 But the 16s don't really count Because they're all followed by 80s How do your 16s be't really count because they're all followed by 80s. How your 16s be bridges? Yeah, for real. And we're going to talk about that after this record. There we go. All the holes that you dug through. Then you got released.
Starting point is 01:09:54 God was watching above you. Why? On the phone, I'm in rush hour. Tracked that knee surgery. Oh, because I know where the mark is at. It's that effect of this bladder. Someone Jackie called me. nothing, this really matter Was scared, sounding frantic, I ain't want no parts of that
Starting point is 01:10:09 Said the ambulance came, might be a heart attack Was leaving work, nearly crying on the phone I'm in rush hour traffic, just seen you dying alone Look, I just pictured all the places that we never went All the texts that were never sent All the words we never spoke Time we never shared Rewind so we could repair such an inspiration All the holes that you dug through Then you got released God was watching above you
Starting point is 01:10:33 I'm thinking you're healing I don't wanna disrupt you So I'm right back and never telling you that I love you And I don't wanna act that way If I take something for granted I don't wanna give it back that way For real, that's how shit get lost, let me chill like it better when I'm not talking over my thoughts Now listen, now listen I done been down, been down, it's all for you Said it's all for you, and I don't wanna get in your way And I don't wanna get in your way
Starting point is 01:11:05 I don't wanna get in your way This love is all fake This love is all fake This love is all fake This love is all fake This love is all fake This love is all fake And now the singers wanna rap, the rappers wanna sing Personally, I liked it better back when rapping was a thing Now if you wanna get the high notes
Starting point is 01:11:28 When that hook come, you gotta hit the high notes The label wanna sell singles, I'm selling the story And that'll just taint the message, bad manners We ain't got the same objective Still I'm here cause real niggas in the game respect it Look, they like me better when I let them live with me I never knew that once I stopped, we'd be enemies And now I'm coming for his heartless heart niggas in the game respected look they like me better when i let them live first that's great thank you park park's never complimented me on any fucking verse that i do he just
Starting point is 01:11:53 fucking sits there and hits the fucking space bar or whatever he hits no that's not true let me punch you back in all right so that was it man that was it that's that's the the album available now for pre-order. And, yeah, I don't really care about all that fucking pre-order shit. Well, guess who is two for two with FanDuel? $250 last week, $150 this week. I'm killing on FanDuel right now. I'm meant to do that this week.
Starting point is 01:12:24 I need some bread from you. Did you use my code? I happen to use your code. Is there something that you know about FanDuel? Well, it's funny that you mentioned FanDuel, Rory. Because it's fucking awesome, first of all. Well, outside of it being the best thing ever, if you want to play against me in fantasy football this week.
Starting point is 01:12:47 And Mahdi. All you have to do. If you want to play against me and Mahdi. And it's lit. It's really simple. All you got to do is join my league on FanDuel. Let me tell you how easy it is. You head to FanDuel.com slash button, B-U-D-D-E-N.
Starting point is 01:13:02 You pick your players, stay under the salary cap, and sit back on Sunday and watch your team wreck a point. Just like I did. That's Fanduel.com slash button to join my league. The spots fill up really, really fast, so make sure you get in before it's too late. Fanduel is the leader in one-week fantasy football with more winners and more payouts than any other site.
Starting point is 01:13:18 Yes, right, they're paying out over $75 million a week this football season. Leagues start at just $1 and anyone can play. And speaking of that, A.J. Green really saved my ass. Yo, that catch was crazy. He saved a lot of people's asses last week. Because I
Starting point is 01:13:35 had Ben Roethlisberger. Steve Smith saved my ass, by the way, who also had a crazy game. Steve Smith, Devontae Adams had a huge game. Julio did well. Julio had a huge game. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, those were the four that had really crazy game. Steve Smith, Devontae Adams had a huge game. Julio did well. Julio had a huge game. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, those were the four
Starting point is 01:13:48 that had like really huge games. Is Julio the best receiver in the league? No. Who's the best receiver in the league? Right now, yeah. I think he is.
Starting point is 01:13:54 I think he is too. Well, Dez is out. Well, I'm talking about what's tangible. Dez is out one. Megatron is fucking crazy, by the way. I mean, you can never
Starting point is 01:14:02 count him out. You can never count him out. Like, he didn't put up The crazy numbers But just watching him play Is crazy His presence on the field Changes the entire offense I might say
Starting point is 01:14:11 Julio Jones is right I like Antonio Brown He's in that conversation Yeah yeah For sure He's in that conversation Antonio Brown's crazy I mean you can't go wrong
Starting point is 01:14:20 We're naming all A1 talents Yeah I just don't think anyone These past two weeks is but wait so aj green apparently shows up from time to time and proves to be that he should be in that conversation aj green is in he should be in that top five conversation top six absolutely julio and adrian throwing him the ball yeah right like oh my god just knock it off. Of course. We'll sit this one out. Of course. Of course. Don't talk no more.
Starting point is 01:14:46 Until we say goodbye, you're done here. Yeah, I had Ben Roethlisberger starting. I ditched Owen Daniels and picked up Heath Miller. I don't know why I did that and they were playing the Rams. That was real stupid anyway. So the Rams injured him. So now I'm thinking I'm done and I lost. And here comes A.J. Green, man, to save the day.
Starting point is 01:15:04 I lost by two points in fantasy i sat cam newton and started peyton manning i don't know why i had faith in peyton and not that's a tough one man because he's only one of the greatest he's gonna show he's gonna show up eventually but you might just gotta bench peyton until he starts showing up well they don't want to win like they're accustomed to winning yeah they want to win on defense and they want to win differently so that's true yeah they're gonna win a lot of those ugly win on defense and they want to win differently. That's true. They're going to win a lot of those ugly games and Peyton is not going to be the huge fantasy guy that people are used to him being. You might want to look
Starting point is 01:15:32 at somebody else. I know when Ben got hurt, when Ben got hurt, I picked up, well, I'm attempting to pick up Taylor from Buffalo. I was about to say, yeah. I'll be looking very hard at him. And I got Eli on my bench, so I'm going to do a quarterback by committee type of thing. Yeah, that always works.
Starting point is 01:15:47 And that's the great thing about FanDuel. You're not married to one team the entire week. You can pick a new team every single week. So remember, FanDuel slash button.com, man. So this was beautiful. FanDuel. FanDuel.com. FanDuel.
Starting point is 01:16:00 Oh, yeah, I'm sorry. FanDuel.com. It's slang. It's a slang URL. It's a slang URL. It doesn't count, right? It's a slang euro. It's a slang euro. It doesn't count. It's a slang euro. So that was beautiful, man.
Starting point is 01:16:09 Listen, so let me get into my serious ending note here. Unfortunately, because, well, one, because there's so much rapping on my album, and two, because the album was specifically made to not have any radio records or any records that could be mistaken for a radio record or a mix show record this record will not perform anywhere near what my last album did so when you say joe is for the people right i think it's such an amazing album That I want the people to have it Like My concern here is not how E1 can recoup
Starting point is 01:16:50 It's not how many units are sold And I know I may have said this at some point In my life before But with this album in particular Outside of me being so proud of it It's for the people Give it to the fucking people Give it to the people.
Starting point is 01:17:05 Gabby is listening right now. Slowly putting a gun in his shirt. I don't know what Joe's talking about. Go buy that shit. Give it to the fucking people, man. Listen, they ain't give
