Okay, ready? Hi, I'm Louis Theroux, and I'm delighted to tell you that my podcast is back. And this time, it's available everywhere. Each Tuesday, I'll be in conversation with an array of fascinating guests, such as actor Paul Meskell. My favorite thing in the world is the job that I get to do. I adore it. Which part? The acting? The acting. I love it. I just find it so addictive.

It is truly the great love of my life. It's obviously family and relationships and friends, but it's the thing that competes with everything. Even time with family, it's like I can fold into that so easily, and I just adore it. Movie director, Baz Luhrmann. Even Elvis, there was a lot of prediction

by those that predict that it would fail and no one would see it because, you know, Elvis was a dead, pop-culturally dead as a subject. Young people weren't interested and so on and so forth. And this doesn't really worry me because I see that as my job, is to decode these subjects that are maybe seen as cheesy or not that interesting or not that present in popular culture and to make them, to sort of flip them over,

shake the rust off them and make them live again. Pop sensation, Pink Pantheress. Give me a person to do an impression of. What about Rihanna? She did titanium, right? No, diamond. Diamonds, I mean. No, I can't do her either.
