The fuck do I know? I'm 59. I like water skiing. I was pretty good at it, too. Had a slalom ski and took the boat out when I was in high school. First time I took it out with me and my buddies to water ski, we lost the ski. You know how you drop a ski when you do one ski, take off with two? We couldn't find the other one.

And then my asshole buddy, not even a buddy, a marginal friend of mine was in a Bastauela. He fucking glided and cracked the cover on my engine on the back of my boat. I had to go home and tell my old man. We had the boat for about a week. He was fucking ready to take my head off. Anyhow, I digress. Yeah, so last night, had a great, actually had a decent weekend. Last night went to, I'll show you later on, but went down to the river here in Savannah for the fireworks. My wife and my buddy, Zook, the cop that I always talk about, we had tickets to go on the Savannah Queen.

Big gay guy from the Richmond Hill area. Now, and yeah, so the riverboat, if you guys watch Ozark, remember that series? They were on that riverboat. That's the actual boat that they used down here. So yeah, we paid, it's like four decks. We were on the top deck. There was a bar. Down below, there was a dance floor.

We didn't go down there. But I mean, unbelievable. Restaurant, air-conditioned riverboat and and so it was great had a few pops got a little fucked up and i never leave the house it took my wife you know it's her birthday tomorrow so it took her everything to get me off the couch i'm like if i do this now i'm not doing it for five years right you know that's the type of husband i am uh there was something important on, like, I don't know, it was a fucking, I was watching a clip of the ABC All-Stars on YouTube from 1972. I think OJ was in it.

He's actually running with a knife. How we didn't pick that up? Anyways, yeah, so it was fun. Then two-hour tour, come back, they parked the boat, you stay in the boat and watch the fireworks, which we could see right across the river. You can watch them from the ground up. And they were blowing up in the Talmadge Bridge behind it. A city at night is really, and I mean a ton of people.

But once again, here's why I moved here. I parked a minute and a half from the river walk with no problem and got out with no problem. Do you understand? If I knew that 20 years ago, I wouldn't be doing standup. I would have moved here because I'm a type AAA personality. I lose my mind. But there was a ton of people along the riverbank as opposed to last year because of COVID. It was an amazing sight. The whole riverbank was just people. It was tremendous. It was tremendous.

Anyhow, let's get to it. Speaking of fireworks, a legal fireworks explosion destroys an L.A. bomb squad truck. Did you guys see this? Yeah, leave it to the professionals. Who the fuck was driving it? Pierre Paul from the Giants? Remember he blew his hand off? I should have.

Every year I show that picture, I forgot to. An explosion rocked Los Angeles on Wednesday night, injuring at least 17 people, including nine LAPD officers, after a bomb squad attempted to detonate improvised explosive devices that were seized at a home along with a cache of illegal fireworks. In a news conference late Wednesday, Los Angeles Police Department Chief Michael Moore, not the fat one, said authorities responded to the home where they found thousands of pounds of illegal fireworks, as well as improvised explosive devices, described, that's IEDs, that's what they use to blow up our soldiers in fucking Iraq. Also described as more unstable stuff.

A suspect was arrested in connection to the items seized at the home. And the police were shocked. And of course, they asked the guy. This shit's right in his house. And of course, he gives the... I know nothing about that. I sure you don't, Pedro. The LAPD bomb squad transferred the improvised devices

into a containment vehicle. It's built to fucking detonate this shit so nobody gets... And so they detonate him in the back of the truck, believing it would contain the blast. They might as well put it in a goddamn AMC Pacer, if you remember that car in the 70s. That was all glass. They thought it was going to contain the blast.

It overturned a car and shattered windows in the neighborhood. What the fuck? What kind of truck? I'm going, was it that many explosives? Because those trucks, literally, there's steel walls in them, like this thick. So can you imagine this guy had this shit in his house with his kids? What a country. Take a look at this. Holy shit. Typical L.A.

And now we know where to look. You understand, folks? Do you understand that people got hurt badly? Holy Christ. Exactly. Get on the phone to Jacoby and Myers. Earlier, the LAPD tweeted that bomb squad officers were in the process of seizing over 5,000 pounds of illegal fireworks in the area at the time of the blast. Some of the fireworks are being stood in our bomb squad trailer as precautionary measure.

The department added that several homes and a building were impacted by the blast. Fox 11 of Los Angeles reported that investigators, bomb squad officials,

responded to the home earlier in the day after receiving a tip from a community snitch named Kevin. No, a community member. A forklift was seen carrying dozens of boxes out of the house. The suspect, identified as Arturo Cejas III,

the other two were killed previously, there he is, was arrested on suspicion of possessing fireworks and destructive devices as well as a suspicion of child endangerment because two children were found at the fucking course they were.
