AI researchers nabbed awards in physics for inventing artificial neural networks in the 70s and 80s and in chemistry for using AI to crack the code on protein design in 2020. The prize in literature went to South Korea's Han Kang, and the prize in medicine went to American scientists who discovered microRNA. The prize in economics will be awarded today. Each Nobel laureate receives a gold medal, a diploma,

Meanwhile, TD Bank pleaded guilty to making itself the go-to bank for money laundering and has agreed to pay a historic $3 billion fine.
