The Ricky Gervais Show / An Idiot Abroad - Xfm S3E11 (January 10, 2004)
Episode Date: September 4, 2022During the hiatus, Pilkington signed on with Gervais and Merchant’s talent agent, and negotiated a deal with XFM to get Mondays off in exchange for continuing to do The Ricky Gervais Show on Satur...days. This was a frequent topic of contention during this run with Gervais repeatedly accusing Pilkington of being lazy for demanding an entire day off on exchange for doing 2-hours of work on Saturdays. This show began airing again in November 2003 and broadcast for 12 weeks until January 2004 when Gervais and Merchant went on hiatus to film series 1 of their new show, ‘’Extras’’.

News. News. News. News, news. Uh, breaking news is that there was only two more weeks of us
before we have to go away on a little extended break again. So we can't give me more details
yet, we don't know when we can come back because we don't know. What we're doing, we're
going to America, we're doing the Golden Globes and then we're going to watch the office pilot being filmed. And then we've got bits, I'm doing a bit of a bit, I'm doing a bit, I'm doing a bit, I'm doing a bit, I'm doing a bit, I'm doing, I'm doing, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm going, I'm going, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, thea, thea, thea, thea, thea, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, they.a, thea, toge.a, thea, togu.a, togu. together, together, together, together, together, t of a tour so it'll be sort of the summer times probably yeah I'm saying it like they
they care oh they don't give it down I mean I sometimes think that because
you think I don't want to let down the people you want to keep it consistent you want to
give it but really I know I like doing this more than anyone
definitely definitely I love coming in I love I know I like doing this more than anyone listening. Do you know what I mean?
I love coming in, I love squeezing Carl's head, I love playing some records, you know,
I like sitting in the room with you, I know you love it.
I can't wait.
I can't think of anything else I'd rather be doing on a Saturday.
Yeah, so we got a Saturdays back though.
I mean, my alarm was atired because we had a couple of drinks last night, yeah, we had, you know, part of the animals. But I've been looking for an office this week,
as you know, and it's so stressful just walking around, just talking to agents and, right,
right, okay, so my method is this, right, I walk around the area that I want to be a lot of
things, I don't want to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, they they they to, they to, the, to, to, th. And, I to, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I, I, I, I, I'm, I, I, I, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, the, the, the, they... And, don't want to, you know what I mean? So I walk around, to be fair, it is about a square 500 yards, right?
Right?
It's sort of...
Your H's in the center.
Yeah, I walked around and looked around and look at it and I looked around and looked around and I said to Steve, I'm thier. and I'm the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to me. to me. It's about to to to to to me. to me. to me me. It was about it was about it was about it was about it was about it was about it was about it was about it was about it was about it was about it was about it. It was about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about about to me. I was to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the the to the toeau. I was about toeau. I was about toeau. I was about toease. I was about toe. I was about toease. I was about toean. I was about to me. I was about. I was about. I or something. I went along to, I see you there in 20 minutes. I got there, he was there, do you remember? I looked around and I said to Steve, it looks all right?
and Steve went, well, it is next to a brothel and I looked and there on the next thing,
like you know model first floor, Susie, oh three, oh and I said, do you know what? Don't bother coming here. No, I said, no, the the next, the next, the next, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thin, th. th. th. I was, there, there, there, there, the, th. I's, the, the, the, the, they. And I's, the, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve. th. th. th. th. I's. I's. I's. I'm, th. I'm, th. I'm, th. I'm, th. I'm, th. I'm, th. I'm, th. I'm, there, there. I was, there. I was, there. I said, there. there. there. there. there. there. I was, do you know what? Don't bother coming here. No, I said no, no, I said because it's next to a brothel. He went, yeah, I went, right, okay. Just for future reference, I don't want
an office literally next to a brothel, right? When I go to work, I don't want to walk past prostitutes.
Call me old-fashioned. Yeah, as you're going into work, there's a prostitute. Morning, morning, morning. Oh, I I I I I I I I I yeah it's a bit slow at the moment it picks up later this
evening does it really good and I said to him I've got so my news resolution is
being like a little fascist when it comes to business and I said also
future reference no no cracked ends and no wild animals in the porch and I just can't believe that
there's always something wrong we went to one right it got there right and
woman said oh I'm nowhere she didn't she didn't have to know what keys she was
using and she went this the third floor and that she went and at no point
we won't both get in the lift I went right walt you get a desk in the
lift right she went I've got a desk in the lift, right? She went, I've got a chair in the lift before.
Brilliant. So just find me in office, Rathbone Place, sort of Percy Street, Charlotte Street, Dean Street,
yeah, first or second. I'm worried we're going to get emails from estate agents, phone calls from, you know what those people are like.
I don't look at emails.
Fair as fair as so So, play record.
Sexist.
the true.
You're all the same.
Sexist. Jackson do a difference for girls. I can't believe it. Unbelievable. You were talking about
renting office. I'm a little bit intimidated because I'm just at the moment thinking about
trying to buy a flat or something because I'm just tired of pissing money down the drain.
I know. And, um, but I'm just, I'm really petrified. I've put it off and put it off because I'm just, I'm really gullible. I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm really, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm really really really really really really, I'm just, I'm really really, I'm really really, I'm really, I'm really, I'm really, I'm really, I'm really, I'm really, I'm really, I'm really, I'm just, when I'm confronted with anyone in a suit who sort of knows what they're talking about, they can sell me anything, I'm intimidated, it's like, you know how you're supposed to go
in there, you're supposed to sort of act like you're the guy with the money, you're the,
this is what I want, this is what I'm no, I don't know, but I go in there and it's like, I'm kicking the door and going, what was that? Is it like, you'd be found that in 30 seconds, wouldn't you?
You go in there, you'd stub your toe and they go, what are you going to go up to a toe off
or your toe? Brilliant.
Just tapping the walls.
Yeah, tap in the wall. What's the, what's the magazine so they were saying haggle, make sure you haggle, make sure you have your planning to haggle get the best deal you can.
And I found a shop which was selling the computer I wanted and I went in there and I had this
whole plan in my mind of what was going to happen.
He was this waltzah and he was going to say like it's worth this. I'm going to go look it's a cheaper and off and off. And off. And off. And off. And off. And I. And I. And I. And I went, I went, I went, I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was I was I was. And I was. And I was I was I was I was I went. And I went. And I was I was I was I was I was I was I was. And I was I was I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was a. And I was a. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. And I was. I was. And I was. And I was a oh it's 1500. I went, sure, I said, I gave you 1,300. He went, it's 1,500. I said, sure, but I'm willing to give you a 1,300. He went,
1500. He went 1500. And I said, I was done already because he hadn't even begun to haggle. I was assuming he'd at least go 1, 1400 and we could start, but no, so now, so now, so now, so now, so now, so now, I I I I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I'm th. He's th. He's th. I'm to to thi, I said, I'm th. He's to to to to to to to to to to to to to, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, I'm, it, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, it, it, it, it, it, it, it's is, it's is, it's is, it's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's thi. He's thi. He's thin, I'm th th th th th th th th thrown. He's th th th thrown, I'm thirty thirty thirty, I'm thi. He's thi. He's thirty, I said to him, I said to him, I said the thing is I can get this computer cheaper down the road, but you know I like what you're providing you, I like your service. I've had
good stuff about you.
And it was amazing, I said I've read to good stuff about you.
And he went to the street and he went to walk down the street and he went to walk their cheap and I went, well I walked out the place and I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I said, I, I, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I was, I was, I, I was, I, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I'm, I'm to, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I'm, well I'm going to have to leave them. And I walked out the place and of course I wanted to get it from there because it was
still the cheapest so I had to walk back in again.
I went, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I've just had some second thoughts.
Listen I'll tell you what, I'll pay the $15, can I'll get a free. He went, the carry case is a case. He went, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he's, he, he, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's the, he's, he's, he's the the the the cheapest, and he, and he, I, and he, I the the the the the the the the the the the the, I was, I was, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I was the the the the the the the the the the the the the th th th th th th th th th the th th th the the th the the the the th the th the th the that if it was on sale? Okay, it's a ten. Well, let's just say it is a ten. They give it to me the free? And he
went, no, it's a tenant. And you went, well, you said it was three a minute. Yeah.
It's just pathetic. That's lovely. It's just having to walk out, making a big statement and then come back in again. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it's. And, it's. It's a. It's a. It's a. It's a. It's a. It's a. It's. It's. It's. It's. th. th. th. th. It's.. Because I don't, I'm not going to be able to tell if there's subsidence or if there's
damp or...
No, you don't do that?
Don't I? Is that not my responsibility?
No, you get a survey done.
Sure.
And you know, they're says hold in the wall, Steve. Yeah, but what's the hole
in the wall? Put some newspaper over that. That was the toilet. That'd be fine.
Carl, you're a second time buyer, aren't you? Yeah, yeah. I bought one in Manchester.
Uh, lost seven grand on that one.
Well, don't buy in Manchester. It's a good flight. It's just, it wasn't, I didn't buy it to sort of make money I thought it was going to be living there like all my life.
And then a job you were up here.
And it was like, oh.
You bought your first flat in Manchester, you assumed you would be living there for the
rest of your life.

What you got for us to do? I just thought we ought to maybe go through some of the emails.
I mean I don't want to query the caliber of some of the emails we get sent on this show but um it's a typical one Rick. There's
no name it's just from Glicko that's his email address. That's just a question
to you Rick. Did I see you walking around Marlbone High Street last
Sunday? Yes. Okay well I was in Marlboro High Street last Yeah, but did you see Glicko? I didn't see Glicks. I didn't see the Glickster. But, uh...
Alright, this is one from M.
Ricky, what do you think of Richard Bacon's show? I can't decide if he's better than you?
Nor can I. Any of course? I can't help write on that one. That's a really personal thing. She's got to dig deep. She's got a look at both of us. She's got to find to find to find to find to find to find to find to find to find to find to find to find to find to find to find to find to find to find to find to find to find to find to find their. specials thank you very much for that's very flattering
there was also a couple there was one that it was a guy I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry that I think I might have deleted it, but I should have said a reply because there was a guy from Canada saying if there are any chance you're around in March whether
you could pop in and have a surprise birthday dinner for his wife.
Oh, God.
Why don't you keep that?
I know, I'm sorry about.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
You know, I don't, you know, I don't, this is more for Carl really. It sounds unlikely. Is it from a doctor saying you're an idiot?
We've got plenty of those, I tend to delete them.
Okay, right, yeah.
Yeah, look at his face!
No, it just says, you know, don't like to complain.
But I won the film competition about five or, the light entertainment, I mean,
the glamour.
Strokes, comedy genius.
All Carl has to do is send out the prizes and say, there was a monkey that was a bank robber
at 5 to 3.
What's Carl?
What's Carl?
Do you remember her winning?
I've got all...
What are you calling her a liar?
Well, I am because I don't remember ever seeing... Right, he's called no a liar. So Joanne Ogden, you're claiming he's just making
this up. She sent this in on a whim trying to fool us and get some cheap tat. Wow. I don't
believe that. I don't believe anyone would lie to try and get knowing me, knowing you on VHS. I really don't. Well I'll look in the records in the records the the the the the the the the th. I'm th. Right.
Well, one of you is in the wrong.
Do you know what, knowing you, Carl, I don't think it's Joanne.
Has anyone else have emailed in saying they haven't got the, uh, they haven't?

He says, um, the webcam is pointing at the ceiling.
Is it because the air conditioning vent is more exciting than what happens on the show?
Let's put that down now.
I'm having it. Now, just, uh, if someone, is that good? People love the webcam. I don't know what they're interesting because all I get the of Carl's big. It's not a big, it's just round.
Can't it right?
Yeah.
Um, Carl, I like you to play the next tune.
I've got something little cheeky, um, primer for the Cures, join the dots.
It's B-sides and rare it is, lots of stuff from them from all over the ages. And it's amazing how good they they they they they they they they they're good good good they're good they're good they're good they're good they're good they're good they're they're they're they're they're their they's amazing how good the B-sides are, here's one of them playing.
It's Sean and that's called a man inside my mouth which was the B-side too close to me. There's nothing
amusing about that Rex I don't know why you're like that. It's called a man inside my mouth.
I don't know. That's fine. that's a man inside my mouth. I know. That's fine.
Yeah, it's like, you know, the little man inside your head.
Yeah.
You know, if a man wants to be inside anyone's mouth, that's good, you know, good that.
But I agree.
Yeah. Carl, do you agree with that? It's brilliant, isn't it? It's extraordinary. It doesn't even understand schoolboy carry on innuendo.
I know the fact that the play on words is too falling.
What does he mean on sight the erection?
What do you mean, dumplings?
Huh? You're a fan of the Simpsons?
You know that character in the Simpsons the Gap Tuptutor Yoke?
Yeah. If I look at Carl when it's that that the the Yeah, yeah. Especially, it's the kind of cliche comic book thing of having a mouth wide open to suggest
scornlessness.
Oh, it's amazing.
Boar.
An accommodating come on.
Yes.
Absolutely.
Carl.
That little man inside you head is what, you know, people use it as your conscience, don't before? No? No? No?
No.
Okay.
I was watching Moonraker.
I was on, I think it was last week.
Yeah.
I don't know how familiar you are with the James Bond films.
I have never, I don't think I've ever watched a Bond film from beginning to end.
Yeah. I've never watched it on DVD, I've never gone to cinema to watch one and I'm not usually in on Easter Saturday.
Honestly...
The thing of my thing is when I was younger, I thought he was the ultimate cool, sophisticated
hero.
Do you know what I mean?
My dream was a kid, I mean a teenager, was to come home which invariably he did.
He'd come back to his hotel suite. He'd opened the door. There'd be a trail the bedroom the beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful the their their their their their their their their their their their their thoooooooo. I I tho. I'd tho. I'd tho. I'd tho. I'd tho. I'd tho. I'd tho. I'd their tho. I'd tho. I'd tho. I'd their their their their their their their their. I was their. I was their. I was their. I was their. I'd thooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I was the. I wastrail of clothes and he'd follow it going to the bedroom, there'd be a beautiful woman in the bed, you know.
You'd have to clean up that. What are you doing? You're messy?
I don't forget my mom to clean all this up now.
She's got a bad bough that.
That's a nudity lady in my bed.
Oh, it's only of late that I've sort of watched he revisited these films and it's I tell you what it's his jokes
oh he is the most infuriating man yeah ever absolutely I don't know why
people in the films consider I mean I think the reason that women in the
films are always being seduced by him is because if you know it's
they normally they normally got English as a second language so they don't know know know they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they're they're they're they're they're they're th they don't understand. So what he's making those jokes?
So they don't know when he goes, uh, just keeping the British end up.
Yeah, I'm just attempting reentry.
Yeah. If that was a British woman, she'd be going, what?
Yeah, what are you.
Don't say that.
That sounds awful.
to me. and then you know unzip their dress and all that. But some of the guys, there was one where he's, he's being chased by a guy in a moped
or something, as the guy plummets off a cliff and smashes through a van which is full of
feathers and he plummets to his death and Bon just says all those feathers and he still
couldn't fly. What are you talking about it? What do you mean it's not a joke? It's just. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. It's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, he. I. I. I. There's one where he, in Moonraker, he punches this guy, he's having a fight, he's having a fight, he punches him through a plate glass window and he lands on a piano and
one goes, play it again, Sam.
What?
What?
I was the one, I always remember there's the one in one of the early films where he killed,
a throwing, he's a psychopath. He's just so excrued. thicicicicicicicicicicicicic. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. You're a psychopath.
And it's just so excruci-
If someone was doing those kind of jokes in the office, you would hate them.
You wouldn't want to talk to him, they'd be a boar.
I know, yeah, everything's a little way of right.
I know, and everything's a pun. But I'll tell you what, he's he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he is, he is, he is, he is, he is, he is, he is, he is, he is, he is, he is, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's a th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. That's true. So you know, they're not hired for their, you know, wit and stand-up ability.
So, you know, there's swings in roundabouts.
I doubt Johnny Vegas could save the world.
That's true enough, yeah.
So think on different people, different needs. Kings of Leon, California Waiting on XFM 104.9.
Do you know what, Steve? We get emails and, you know, we got our posters up around this show and people enjoy it.
But I don't think we get the credit we deserve for picking the music.
It's true. Because we're totally unplaylisted and I don't know if we know about this, that mine
and Steve's sort of first passion before comedy is probably music.
We're really, really, we love playing each other sort of records and that.
And maybe when we come back we should do a show where there is no pressure to, you know, buttons for, we record it, where we just swap each other's sort of ideas for music. It would be like the Ricky Gervais compilation tape.
Well, sort of like, we're not talking John Peel where we're try and find obscure Belgian
Jungle and do demos, you know, everything from Kings of Leon, Lou Reed, you know, maybe
a bit of 80s stuff to people have forgotten about.
Beautiful songs. Beautiful songs. What do you thi. I'd love th. I I I I th. I th. I th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th that that that that that that that that that th. th. well it's like you say the pressure to kind of come up with some you know

they say Steve we like the show when you're gonna get rid of rockbusters
it brings it down I don't I'm not joking there is lots of people
come off it what I know I know people who to think their to the show know, I'm talking about people who've listened
to the show, you're talking about Suzanne, your girlfriend. Martin, he'll be at home now with
the pad getting ready to play. But I should just...
Mike Freeman did say, did encourage Carl on a couple of occasions. He even tried to get him
through with the answer, Egg. When we were doing that naming animal round. Yes. So I should just say that people they
people think that somehow Ricky and I are endorsing rockbusters that somehow by allowing it on
the show somehow we think it's good and we appreciate it and I need to point out that it's
more like when a child comes back from school and they've done a painting. It's crap.
Yeah. But of course you've got to stick on the fridge because I always the cat is bigger.
I can't stick it on the fridge because I always the kids are going to get upset. In this next episode, you've got to remember the cat is bigger than the house.
Okay.
It doesn't look like anything.
The humans don't have bodies, their legs come straight from their head.
Mommy and daddy.
Please welcome to the stage.
Carl Pilkington's Rockbusters.

Um, off their album of last year, which is probably my favourite album of the year.
I've started getting into that sort of like music more serious thing in case we do it.
I mean, I don't know, from that comment, maybe've started getting into that sort of like music more serious thing in case we do it.
I mean, from that comment, maybe we should do some preparation.
Pre-record it?
Yeah.
So we can sort of like cut all the ums and ours and me sort of like eating a sandwich while
it's on, singing along, tapping a little bit.

Rockbuster is well on the way.

What's the email address again?
Ricky Ductivace, that XFM. Co. UK.
Are you try to today, Carl? You're just bored or...
No, I'm all right. I'm out that there was a pool hall.
Oh yeah, I like to think myself is looking a little bit like Paul Newman in the Hustler
when I'm shooting pool and I went down there and I went with my flat mate and it's quite a
seedy pub in many respects there's a lot of weird people in there like alcoholics and...
Why do they go there? It's strange isn't it? Weird there's very old people and he's a little
bit nervous and he said I'm a bit worried because there's a lot of kind of you know there's
people from the estate the nearby council estate you know for one of the better words scone you know and so he's a bit edgy and bizarrely I said to him I'm a they... they. they. they. they. they. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. they's a they're they're a they're a little. they're a little. they're a little they're a little they's a little they're a little they're a little they're a little they're a little they's a little they's a little they's a little they's a little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little.... I's a little little little little little little...... I's a little little little little...... th. th... th. So th. th. So th. So th. So th. So th. So th. So th. So th. So th. So th. So they. So he's a little they. So he's a little to to to they. So he's a to to to him, I'm a bit scared about going in, I went, don't worry, you're with me.
Yeah. I don't know what I think, I don't know what that means.
I'm gonna think, well wait a minute, the six foot guy with the lanky guy with the glasses,
you're not they're not going to mess. gone. I'm screwed. That's the first thing you do. Are you really really short-sighted, aren't you? I'd be absolutely done for. And are you nervous? Are you sort of like nervous
without them? You know whenever you see like a kind of action film or whatever or maybe
like a horror film? The nervous glasses and he's traveling around on the floor
while he's coming behind them? That's me. Really? Yeah done for it. you do when you were at school when you had to play tennis or football or rugby or summer? Um, kept them on. That's dangerous. Well of course it is. That's
why I was never, you know, as good at rugby as I probably could have been. You know, because
of course you can. How can you play rugby with glasses on? I'm in the scrub going, careful your boots. Hello. Never mind me nuts. Exactly. to thu. I'm the their. I. I. I their. their. their. their. I. their. their. their. I. I. their. I. th. I th. I th. I th. th. their. I th. th. their. their. their. their. their. them. their. I was their. That's their. That's them. That's them. That's them. That's them. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. t. I'm. I'm. t. I'm. t. K. I'm. K. I'm. K. I'm. But, uh, so I went in that, because I used to, um, I used to do, um, I used to do judo when I was very young.
Well, that's the impossible.
But this is nudicris.
That must go falling off.
Oh, of course.
What about gaffer tape?
Just sort of like, yeah. Well, I think that the other kids were, the, kind, kind, kind, kind, the, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, uh, uh, to, uh, uh, uh, uh, to, to, to, to, to, I, I, to, I, to, to do, uh, uh, I, I, to, to, to, I, uh, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I to, I, I to, I to to to to to do, I, I, I, I, I to do, I to do, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to do to. But I swear when I used to go to Judo, I'm sure that the other kids were being taught,
right, just knocked Steve's glasses off.
Knocked his glasses off, you can get him.
And so I'm always very edgy boat fights, but for some reason I felt super confident
going in there.
And into the pool hall. And it's one of those places you got a knock, and they opened they open they open they open they open they open they opened they opened they opened they opened they opened they opened they opened they opened their they opened they opened their they opened their their their their and into the pool hall and it's one of those places you got a knock, it's like a speakeasy you've got a knock and they open the door and you come in and I'm in
there and my flat and little...
One of those things you slide, like a little that was like a little bit edgy, he put
your face and he just knocked your glass and things like, so I went in there and in a way my flat mate was justified in being a little bit edgy
because the conversation we could overhear the table next to us, we were playing pool, the
guy next to us was going, yeah of course the bloody police, spent boxing day in the nick,
absolute nightmare.
You're getting nervous.
So I was getting a little bit edgy because I didn't know, but then I thought you you know, they don't mess with their own. We're like, we're almost like gangsters ourselves because we're there in the last end.
You know what I mean? We'll probably be fine.
So then, um, there's just an old guy serving at the buy now in his 50s.
And some guys go over to the jukebox, some young kids.
They're just hanging out in the pool. hardcore German techno and they put in about 50 quids worth it seemed because
it just went on. Grunt some pink kind of like gab or stuff. Old guy at the bar
just nodding his head cleaning the glass. So into this
piano player furious. Into this comes like what appeared to be a family of
holiday makers with kids. So they've entered this like CD Pool Hall
and we've got you know the Cray Twins playing pool next to me they come in the the German the German the German the German the German the German the German the German the German the German the German the German the German the German the g the g. the g g. the game the game the game the game the game the game th. G. G. G. G. the this like CD pool hall. We've got, you know,
the Cray Twins playing pool next to me. They come in, the German techno is glaring, they
come in and there's like kids, you know, and they got the baby in one of those little pouches
and they come down. They sit down. And the weirdest thing was one of the kid,to put the baby down in a chair and I thought, hang on that's quite quite a hard backed chair. And as he did it, the baby's head just went, doo, and hit the back of the chair.
And I just flipped back and hit the back, because he just lucked it down.
Oh God.
And it started screaming, it crying, you know, and the tea.
And theyan going what happened the baby was crying and he went I don't know what happened and I wanted to lean over and go you lying swife you know what happened you just
say I wanted to go just take her aside and say never let him handle your baby again

What do you do?
Call you do it, call you the authorities and go, you know, it was in. Yeah, I hate the pigs as well. he's popped out like and the dad and the ma'am saw the baby and it was like, oh that's a
good-looking little kid. Sure. And they were proud of that. And then...
They're surprised that it's a good-looking little kid who's dares. Like it could have been a frog. And they'd the doctor goes, yeah it is, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, the they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they's they, was, was, was, was, was they, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was he was, was, was he was, was he was, was, was, was he was, was he was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was, was they. He said, he's a boy and he hasn't got a knob.

woman's like, oh, it's our first as well and stuff. Right, she's really got it.
What's the second going to be like? So, uh, just a knob.
Just a knob. Doctor said, yeah. You call it, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, the the the the the baby. It the baby. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. What's gone?
So the doctor says, well I'll leave it with you for a bit, get used to the idea, right?
As opposed to throwing it away.
So he wanders off.
He comes back with a smile on his face.
So the mom and dad are like, what's, you know, what you're smiling about?
You're not going to believe this this this this this this this th. the baby. the baby. the baby. So. the baby. So. It's got two.
Right?
You can have one of them.
And they did a little, uh, little operation.
Where did you get this information from?
That's in a book.
What book?
It was the book thatthree legs, the juggler with nine arms and the bloke who found tracking the chicken under a rock. Is it in that book?
Well, it's not true.
It's true.
What, in the same hospital there was a baby born with that knob, luckily, it's Carl.
It's Carl.
What happened?
You're not making a dog. They came back smiling because you don't believe it. There's, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it's, it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it's i's i. There's a baby there with an excess of a knob.
It happened, honestly.
I'm not, all these things are not made up the educating stuff.
That's why I do it, isn't it, teaching you stuff.
All right, if anyone can confirm the baby with no knob. Oh well that they're going to go to the same dubious website that Carl got it from. I always try to be level-headed and
reasonable in these situations. It's always Guantanamo or Mexico.
I'm boar the Roderogast that was born without a knob.
Luckily baby next door and then, and then, and that was it Nelly, nobue. It's a load of shite. What th. What th. What th. What th. What th. It's. It's. Radiohead off the Ben's album. I mean, might be my favourite album of all time.
You said it before, yeah. I can't say I've ever really got into it. I remember when it came
out it was just so ubiquitous everywhere I never really bother listening. I can still listen
to it every day. I mean, that might be sad, I don't know, but it's a fantastic album. Yeah. On XFM, 104. 9.9, just practicing for when we we talk. Well I'm not going to tell you anymore educating stuff yet.
I'm going to tease me with that, I'll leave you with, uh, it nearly died.
Yeah, get a load of this court case, right? But I want you thinking about it, yeah, just getting my red juices ready. Yeah, and I can't a the the the th. I th. I th. I th. I' th. I' th. I' th. But I just educated you yeah right and I watched the office Christmas stuff on last
Sunday. Do you like to enjoy it? I think it was good good good.
Thank you very much. The second one one's good. Yeah okay
your second one more the paybacks in the secondites. The second one's good. Yeah, okay, all the paybacks
in the second one, the first one's more set up. So, you know, I'd have thought people would
like the second one more. So that's nice. That's a nice critique, thank you, Carl.
But there was something in it that you did about cavemen.
the full information like
what kind of doing that. You just, you just...
Where was it? What bit was it?
Um, it was, it was a bit when you were talking about getting a woman I think, or you were
talking about breasts or... Oh, oh! The one when I said people, the reason women have cleavage is to the men of buttocks because when we were cave men we used the the then men then men th. the th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. th. the th. th. th. th. to do th. th. th. to do, to do, to do, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, to, to, to, to to to to to to to to to, th. What, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, th. What, th. What, th. What, th. What, th. What, th. What, thi. What, the thi. What, the thi. What, they. What, they. What, they. What, they. What, they. What, they. What, they. What, thi. What, that, that, that men of buttocks because when we were cavemen we used to do from behind. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
The deck blind date. Yeah. Is that a joke or? Well I was hoping it was funny. We
would. Oh you mean? No I don't know. Yeah I think I did. I think
cleavage is meant, Mepto represent in a sort of Desmond Morris pop sort of anthropology type
way. I think I've seen that before that Cleavage represents buttocks and I imagine, you know,
Paveman probably did do it from behind. I don't know what you want to know Carred,
it was, it's in a sitcom, it wasn't a documentary. It looked like one. Yeah, yeah, yeah, brilliantly
directed to look like one, I'll give you that. No, what you're saying to
loaks like... Yeah, I think Cleavage is represented like butto theyx because
obviously buttocks were much more of a sexual organ, evolutionary speaking,
breasts were to actually bring up to suckle
young and were a sign of sexual maturity so you're ready to mate. But whereas, Carl, I'm
not an anthropologist mate, I'm struggling there. What do you need to know? Yeah, I imagine,
I imagine that the cleavage reminds you of an ass. Right, well, if it's all about ass, why don't gaze like a little bit of tip?
No, do you know what I mean?
Ah, you've done me!
So the question put to us today on XFM1 and 4.9, please call me that it does, is, if it's all
it's all about arse, why don't gaze like it, it'll be the tit? If it's all about arse, why don't gaze like tiptiptiptiptiptiptiptiptiptiptiptiptie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, tie, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, tie, ties, tie, ties, ties, tip, tip, tip, tip, tip? th''''''''''a, t it it'll be the tip I was worried if it's all about a tas well I engaged like tits if it's all about a gas why don't gays like tits
just come in with your thanks very much for tuning in this is having children's
TV if it's all about us why don't a gays like a bit of tip? Is the question, what a brilliant question.
Well, if you're an anthropologist or a psychologist, a doctor, a gay, please call in, if it's all
about a thus. This is the question. I'm not convinced by this whole cleavage looks like an
arse, that's not the only, no, I think it's a bit of mock, it's a bit of mock, I didn't think it would
be end of scrutiny. I think it's more likely that the recent men find Cleave is
because they know there's a lovely pair of Bristol's down there. Yes, they'll find
here we are. If that's what's on show, exactly. If that's in the front window, right?
What's she going to go in the shop? Oh dear! Oh no!
The Corrall!
Oh my today.
If it's all about arse to me, the tip.
The Coral Bill Mackay on XFM, 104.9.
If it's all about arses, Steve, why don't Gaze like a bit of a tit?
I think there might be a lecture on that at the Royal Institute
tonight. Oh, Stephen Orkin. Yeah, I think he's given a brilliant. Say something else though,
that's about caveman in that. Right. Not really, got him. Do you know, um. I love the idea of a little
gay fella. He's pulled a bird. All he's done, all he's done is focused on the cleave of it and he's and he's and he's and he's and he's and he's and he's and he's andavage and he's gone that's a lovely ass. It's got a back, right, do-dood, do-duh, falls the dress down. No!
With the ass! I've been gone, they're boobs!
Boops! I hate it! They're my worst! No!
Right, sorry Carl. Cavemen on that. Yeah. Back to it. Doesn't drop and beat, does he? Do you know like when you get that's scared and
the air's on your back and that sort of go up? Well I haven't got a particularly hairy back,
but go on. No, but on your neck or whatever. Do you know? Do you know where that comes from?
Do you know why it happens? Why it happens? Yeah. To probably, to look more fierce. Yeah. Probably residue of like the erectile tissue of like that that that that that that that that to that to to to to to that that to to that to that that to that to that to that that that that that that that that that that that that the to to the to the to to that that that happens? Why it happens? To probably, to look more fierce.
Probably residue of like the erectile tissue would make you look,
and that would make you look slightly bigger, your outline bigger.
Is that the answer?
Yeah, just cavemen in front of dinosaurs and like this, went, oh.
And then, well it wasn't cavemen in front of dinosaurs, was it? Because cave men weren't alive when dinosaurs were alive?. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah? Yeah? Yeah. It? the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. Yeah. Yeah. It was the th. It was thiorsorsorsorsors were the the thiaresres. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It was their their the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the their their their their their. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's tiperesresres. It's thoeseseses. It's thresresres. It's the the it went oh and then well it wasn't cavemen in front of dinosaurs was it because cavemen weren't alive when dinosaurs were alive
it was a couple knocking about right okay fair enough it was there was a crossover
point surely not not just like 15 million was that yeah probably the yeah
yeah the ice age there was still still big reptiles I think it's fairly
common knowledge that the dinosaurs did not exist when Well, no, no, no, no. No, no.
No, no, no.
He's, listen, he's using cavemen as any genus of homo.
I know he's thinking of the flintstand, but I'm giving him a bit of, I'm giving it like, you know,
an in-step into evolution here.
But, um... I should just point out that, you, you, cars which they motored by running along the street and they didn't
they didn't mix them out in pelicans you're aware of that
go on Carl sure have the rockbusters answers you gotta get their attack

I that's ridiculous. That's ridiculous. That's ridiculous. That's ridiculous. That's ridiculous. That's ridiculous. That's ridiculous. That's ridiculous. That's ridiculous. That's ridiculous. That's ridiculous. That's ridiculous. That's ridiculous. I that. I that. That's ridiculous. I that's ridiculous. I that's ridiculous. I that's ridiculous. I that's. I that's. I. I. I'm. That's ridiculous. That's. I. I. That's. I. That's. That's. That's. I. I. That's. That's. I. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. I. That's. I. I. That's. I. That's. I. I. That's. That's. I. I. That's. That's. That's. That's. I. That's. That's. That's. I. That's. That's. That's. That's. I. That's. That's. I. That's. That's. Oh. Oh. That's. Oh. That's. Oh. That's. That's. I. That's. That's., you're outcast. Did anyone get that? Yeah. I mean I am stunned. I think to be fair that was because how many bands
begin with O? Yeah. I think that's why people got it. Exactly. Put that o'casses, yeah.
I could probably make Oasis work if I tried hard enough. Who's on that? Who's done that? Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, I? Oh, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I, I, I, I'm that. I'm. I'm. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I. I, I, I, I, I, I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I'm th. I th. Oh, pardon me. So, uh, outcast. That's ridiculous.
Why is it ridiculous?
But it's ridiculous.
But it's ridiculous.
What was worse than that?
We got worse than that!
Imagine that!
I remember when I did my wrist in, then it fixed.
I went to temp in bowling.
Why did you your wrist?
So it's what you did? quiz is what am I thinking? You're an idiot car, player record. Why did you do your
wristing? Crash. A crash. A crash. You had a crash? That sounds like a story we've not
explored. Not much to it. I just went on a free sort of rally day. Got in this car. I'd
been working all night, right? So I wasn't the best condition to be whizzing around a track in a car, like a Formula One type car, yeah.
Span out of control with it, some mud, smashed it all in, wrote it off, and I didn't
realise I'd done a load of damage until.
Well you landed on your head but you were fine.
Yeah, who's the girl that I'm talking about.
Bad time from the Jayhawks on XFN-4.9, Stuart and Ricky Javais, Carl.
We're having a good time. We are indeed. All right.
Carl, what have you got lined up for us now?
Right, well you've got a choice. Nearly dead? You can have a bit
of educating. Yeah, that's how educating, come on. Educating Ricky. Can we just clarify
what this is? I think a lot of new listeners perhaps aren't familiar with this. It's when
Carl looks on the internet and finds a weird story about, you know, the double knob, fun, and tells me about it, and it's usually not true. If it is true, I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I th. thiiiiiu I thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. that's that's that's thi. usually not true. If it is true I know it
already. Go on and Carl. They're not really weird stuff it's just stuff that's
gone on. That's interested me that's all it's about and I know how you came back.
I should just confirm that we've had a number of emails that say the baby born
without a knob and then having one transplanted from a baby that luckily I've had two no no. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. tha. th. th. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. te. the. the. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. tell. tell. tell. tell. tell. tell. tell. tell. tell. tell. tell. tell. from a baby that luckily I've had two knobs is apparently true. Yeah no listen I don't
question that you could be born with a deformity and get someone's you know
fingers knobbed and what I'm saying is it it didn't happen with a doctor
goes I'll leave with it I don't believe it that baby's got two knobs
exactly what a coincidence I bet that little bit of information isn't in there, is it?
Sure. That he went out the door, I'm going to get a coffee, came back,
I'm going to get an extra knob. I found an extra knob.
What, we put that knob on there? Perfect.
Right, well you've gone, you've opted for the headline, it nearly died.
Yeah. This is about this elephant. 80 years old in Africa, right? So I've had quite a good life and that. But then what happens is,
I don't know what it's been eating, but his teeth fall out.
Yeah, that's what their... and most elephants die that, because they grind them down the teeth until they can't chew anymore and they, most elephants are old...
dying of old age with an elephant is the fact that you haven't got teeth anymore. Hmm. Well it's had a good innings it was
80. Yeah. So anyway they locked the food up and feed it to it and it lived quite
happily? No what they did was the village got together said oh she'd the food
food for it. Made it some... Fost teeth? Made it some teeth. that wood. the wood and the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the then the the the is theath theathed theathed theathed theathed theathed theathed theeathed theeatheatheatheathed th. theateathea theathea. What do you think of that I don't know I don't know if it's true I don't mean no
It is forget that you've been proved wrong ones it is true what do you think about that oh
what do you think about it oh oh Carl it's like saying yeah me, Miani Norris saw a ghost.
What do you think about that?
There's no comment.
I can't comment on it.
Would you have gone to the trouble is what I'm saying?
To build an elephant?
It's 80?
It's 80?
Yeah.
With all the problems Africa's got on that, and they're messing enough food to go around so if an elephant's dead that's a bit more food left. Do you mean why?
Yeah, but you're assuming this is in the middle of a village where there was famine
and starvation?
It might have been, it might have been South Africa, Kenya.
You don't know, it's not all, it's not all, it's not all Ethiopia or... It's a busy city people in the village wouldn't have time to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing with to be messing their their to be messing with to be messing with to be messing with to be to be to be to be to be to be messing to be messing to be messing to be messing their wa their their wa their wa their wa their wa their wa their wa their wa their wa their wa their w.. I I I their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their. their their the village. their the village. their their the village, their their their, like a local post office. I'll meet you by the elephant.
No, to be fair Rick, I think I saw Bob Goldoff on TV saying,
please people stop making elephant's teeth. They are eating all the food.
We're sending it over there. After the number, where's the teeth? I don't know, it's possible, it's possible they've made this elephant
some dentures, it is possible. Wouldn't it have been easier to just stop it? Exactly.
I would have thought, serve it some soup or whatever. Yeah, I mean, if you could make it
the teeth, you know, it's a village. I would have thought, you know, I wouldn't have
thought it would work for very long and I wouldn't have thought the elephant that the villagers could do it I mean top veterinary surgeons could have done some
at but I think they made it all goodwill but I don't want to thought it
worked so they probably end up dying or pulping it like I suggested but you
know thanks very much play record no no but don't if it was wooden it
I thin the palt the teeth the some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some some the I think that was possibly my grandparents. They had one teeth. Yeah.
Well, I don't know if it was wooden.
I think the palate was wood and then the teeth were, actually would normally.
That's like that from the 16th century though, isn't it?
Well, it was the 90s.
They used to hammer them in without anesthetic.
Really? Yeah. God. That's a rubbish sign, I've got the dead people's teeth, you could replace it just
bang it in for a while. Oh, God, unbelievable. Oh dear. Play a record, Carl.
If you've heard your teeth, have you had teeth hammered into your guns?
Take every changes, English summery.
See you still ask for ages.
Always the stage of the same. English Summer Rain, see if you still ask for ages.
Right, okay, you got the final educating rookie, Carl.
Get a load with this court case.
Yeah. What happened was, right? Right, okay, you got the final educating rookie car. Uh, get a load of this court case. Yeah. What happened was, right?
Allegedly. Fellers in court for something that you shouldn't have done, right?
Yeah. You've got all the detail then, at your fingertips.
And the jury says, he's guilty, right? And the judge went, what? It's not guilty.
Off you go then, right? He misheard it. They couldn't do anything about it, because once, once the judge has sort of said, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, the, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, thethey couldn't do anything about it because once once the judge has sort of
said you're not guilty off you go you can go home and the jury were like what
what are you doing they said he's guilty I was like what do you think
what do you think of the thorns album I'm quite a big fan Rick yeah I like
I like that sort of a combination you made me that was that's what the the the the thing thing thing thing thing thing thing thing thing thing thing thing thing thing they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they're they they're they're they're they're they're they they they they they're they they they they they're they're they're they're they're they they they they they they they're they're they're they're they're they're they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're that sort of old country same. I think it's... I know. That was a compilation you made me. That was really good. The Jayhawks, thanks for that.
There was the Angin one, won't they? There was the Yangin one that happened. I used to there.
I mean, what bands have you got? I've been checking out recently and he knew? It's been in March, yeah. I was just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just. I. I. I. I the that. That's just. That's just. That's just. That's just. That's just. The the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. the th. the th. th. the the th. th. th. the the th. th. th. th. th. Rick, Billy Brayett. Oh brilliant, yeah. Great guy.
Isn't he playing in March?
Yeah, he might have tried to be about the Angin one when the fellow was Ong.
Well, he was Ong.
He was Ong. So it was Ong. He was Ong. He was Ong. He was Ong. He was Ong. He was Ong. He was O' by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by by. I mean it was he on? Yeah. Sorry, he was on.
Some fellow who'd done something the yonging.
Ha ha ha ha ha! It's not a word anymore. He was on.
Well don't be doing that again because you said squaws wasn't a word and
then I shown you a menu today that someone sent and it said fresh orange. Yeah. It's inverte in commas and next to it was the word colour spo-co-co-coe-coe-coe-coe-coe-coe- and the the the c. And the the the the c. And the the the the c. And the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the to it was the word colour spout C-O-L-O-R.
So presumably I'm the American menu, right, in which case there's loads of American words that we don't use, or it's just a badly typed piece of work.
Anyway, there was a bloke that was um. He was ong and that. But he didn't die. Ong on that. He was definitely a Chinese. Ong on that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. they. they. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. It was th. It was th. It was. It was. It was the th. It was the the the th. It was the tho. It was the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thooo. It was the the the the the tho. On on that, he was definitely a Chinese, hung on that, yeah.
I remember him now, yeah.
He didn't die and they said, oh, just hang on a minute whilst we changed the rope and that,
and he stood there waiting, changed the rope.
They tried to, you know, do it again and it didn't work.
It didn't work, right?
So, uh, they got another rope, right? No. It didn't work. And then they had to let him go because it's like a...
There's a well-known saying or something from this thing.
Have you seen, have you, do you like, Oh my Corzon by Tim Burton's new single?
I don't know that I'm too brilliant.
We better a bit later.
Yeah, let's play a record now and we're, talking more of it later. Yeah. Can you, Carl, would you, um, would you shut up?
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Oh my car was on Tim Burgess, brilliant, XFM won a 4.9.
Right, well we're running out of time here.
We had Carl in a little film but I think we've really got time for monkey news, you know?
What are you thinking, Carl?
Yeah, if you want to do that? Yeah, let's do monkey.
All right.
Play the jingle.
Oh, chimpanzee that, monkey news. Uh, right, there's this monkey, right?
I think his name was number six or number seven or something, right?
Right?
And, uh, anyway, it's in there,
with like, you know, the rabbits and little mice and stuff like that.
And, uh, the nurse, right?
The nurse, well, not the nurse, the woman who works in a lab, what would you call her?? Is? Is? Is? Is? Is? Is? Is? Is? Is? Is? Is? Is? Is? Is? Is? Is? Is? Is the? Is the? Is the? Is the? Is the? Is the? Is the the the the the, right? Is the, right? Is the, right? Is there? Is there? Is there? Is there? Is there? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? There? The? The? The? The? The? The? The? The? The? The? The? The? The? The? The? The? The? The? The? The the the the the the the the the the the the the there? Is, there? Is, there? Is, there? There's, there? There's, there? There's, there? There, there? There, there? There? There? There? There? There? There? There?... the nurse right the nurse not well not the nurse the woman who works in a lab
what would you call her a nurse?
Depends what turns out of job was she was a lab assistant you call her a lab assistant
all right?
Lab assistant right so uh...
So she's probably Kirsty Morris.
Well she's in there right and she don't work with many people and that, she's mainly on her own with, you know, just putting lipstick on rabbits and stuff like that, right?
Jim fancettis?
So, uh...
Chim fancettis?
She's putting on lipstick, the chin fancences?
So, you get, he gets, he gets palli, right, with this woman.
Because, you know, it gets the point when tries to string out like it's a narrative love story. The chip put his hand out and grabbed her and then you're thinking that he made a move on her.
So, he's allowed out, it's not a story is it.
He's allowed out the cage and whatever, you know, so he's wondering about and as time
goes on he's watching what she's doing more and more, right?
So you know this is like the code on the door, right?
Right. Whatever, 247 or whatever, he goes right, I've clocked that, I've got that, I'll
remember that, right? And then he goes right, there's a lot of lipstick and that knocking about
a lot of makeup. Right, okay. No, no, there's no way. Because Steve, you know what's going to happen. So he's there. It's ridiculous. their. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. No. It's. It's. No. No. No. No. No. No. So he's there. It's ridiculous. And he's going, well, if it's there, you know what I mean?
So, so while she's messing about with the rabbit, he gets there in front of the mirror,
putting a little bit of a lippy on. Right? You are a little bit. No, I know. It's gone too far. No. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's gone too. It's looking pretty good. I didn't mention the visara. It's looking all right. So it knows the code on the door, 247,
right? So when she's sort of messing about with a rabbit, right? He goes right, when she's sort of
messing about with a rabbit, right, he goes right, there's my chance. He's looking good. 247, out the door.
The Peltcher man's there. He's like, alright, Kirstie.
Alright, talk.
Shit!
Boom, boom, tom, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum.
I feel free from Cream, the spirit last drug, isn't it, guys, I imagine, on X-FN-FN-1. Well, I mean, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I'm, I've th, I'm, I'm, I'm, I feel feel feel feel feel feel feel feel feel feel feel feel th. Well, I mean, yeah, I've got nothing to say after that.
Ridiculous, ridiculous story.
I mean, that's worse than the bank robbery to me.
Yeah. That he clocks at and, and the bloke on the desk.
All right, Kirstie. Oh, you're two foot shorter and hairy. Yeah, looker anyway.
She wasn't a looker anyway!
Brilliant!
Oh, play record on the stage.
We'll see you next week for the last time for little.
Oh, I'd love to end with Averd.
See you like, it's brilliant, going out on a bang.
Ex-ah.
Exa.
