That's fucking bad shit crazy.
Bam, we're live.
And now the entire world wonders what is next.
I feel like a bead of sweat.
I'm so pissed. I feel like a bead of sweat. I'm so pissed.
I feel like a bead of sweat rolling down my back.
You ever get so angry that your butthole sweats down it?
My head doesn't sweat when I get angry.
So your head doesn't sweat, your asshole sweats.
I've puckered up so tight that...
Damn.
I've puckered up so tight that um damn nothing could escape from
it it is over the quarterfinals are over and uh bill grundler's here and kayla beaver is here
and mr andrew hiller is here uh mike halpin will be joining us shortly and so will brian
um friend since we switched the show till 4 till 4 PM so that he could be here from
originally 2 PM.
So of course he would be here.
I get way.
It's impossible to read all text messages.
Right.
Well,
well,
we have three very busy text threads,
so it's really,
you can get lost in the three.
Yeah. You know, it's possible. I get lost in the three yeah you know it's
possible i mean you would have to you would have to yeah it's it's nuts okay calm down seve refocus
bill is here i think i do what i heard susan does well once it accumulates to about 50 messages i
go back to the last one i remember reading and i try to soak it all in
yeah you know what i do i start reading them in reverse which is just uh stupid uh thank you
very stupid yeah so stupid it's it's so dumb you miss all the punch lines then that's what
happened i know and i know when i'm doing it it's's dumb. Mike Halpin, hi. Thanks for joining us, brother.
Let me ask you guys this.
So it's officially over.
The quarterfinals are done.
Theoretically, we can go to this leaderboard right now and see who's going from every region.
You can see who has all put their stuff in
pre whatever penalties are going to be listed.
But if you don't have your shit in now, you're, you're, you're toast.
Yeah,
correct.
We will have an Anika Greer situation,
right?
Yeah.
Like it's okay.
And is there anyone like that?
Say that again,
Taylor.
Anika Greer.
Good.
That makes me happy.
Yeah.
And any surprises right off the bat of anyone who didn't make it?
I know Shadburn was out as of yesterday.
She was outside the cut line. Did she it inside she did just inside yep yeah close uh
anyone else anyone else uh we're concerned about like did jason hopper get left um outside the
cut line or is that just wishful thinking on my part he did just fine okay uh most of me is
jordy grameleon is just outside,
which is a shame because he got banged last year by event three with the
shuttle runs.
I was hoping he'd come back and make it this year.
He's that close.
We were texting a little bit earlier.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And did he have games aspirations?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But I know for sure,
for sure he wanted to make the semfinal this year because that was kind of yanked from him as a result of the shuttle run madness that
happened last year with event three like he counted it wrong or something no he was good it was just
everyone else that was wrong and that was his worst event so everyone that got it wrong kind
of sandwiched him down the leaderboard okay he took a hundredth on basically four of the events and 500th on that workout which should have been more like 200th someone
just text me on the um live call-in phone i hope you already spent a whole episode making fun of
the vips not yet um bill does anyone get into the semi-finals on accident or are the like like people get into the quarterfinals on
accident right oh yeah but does anyone get into the um semi uh semi-finals on accident
um i wouldn't say on accident i i would say that there will be some that get in that are
um maybe not and this is something that brian was
talking about yesterday uh someone that doesn't get judge scored um viewed or whatever as hard as
some of the more popular names some of the people that are sitting up at the top you get those
outliers that have some decent scores and either a really really good score or they have some okay
scores and a really bad score to kind of get some out of the mix and they're sitting on that that that cut line area uh-huh um i don't know man
like i i just really feel that there were a lot of movements where it's going to demand a lot of
viewing and judging by the crossfit game staff and i don't know if they have the capacity to view
and judge everyone across the board evenly
so that you get the true numbers that are supposed to be going.
I think you're going to get some people that actually don't get looked at as hard
and get in. That's what I think.
Okay, and we will go down that path.
Before we do, Bill, let me rephrase the question.
And feel free to jump in here, too, either Hill or Halpin.
Theoretically, there's this fucking amazing lady named Ariel Loewen.
And not last year, but the year before, she she didn't necessarily want to go to the games.
She didn't want to go to the games, but she didn't want to make it to a live event or so she could get some signage with her name on it.
And she ended up accidentally making it to the games, if you believe the story.
And I and I think if you believe the story and i and i and i
think i do believe the story um is there is is that just a do you think by that's what i mean
i don't mean like is there anyone legitimately who's just like hey i just worked out for fun
and i made it to the semi-finals or no this shit is fucking hard uh i i don't think it's gonna
happen very often but yeah ariel's ariel's badass. And I think a lot of times you'll have athletes that don't necessarily know
what their capacity is yet.
They're just happen to be a freaky good athlete and they kind of hop in and
they're like, Oh yeah, okay. I'll, I'll go ahead and do this.
And he'd be kind of fun to kind of play. I mean,
we've seen some athletes at other live events, you know,
if you're looking at like water paloozas and things like that, where all of a sudden you see some names like, well, who that, where did this person come from?
And they've kind of been around, but they just didn't really either have the push, the coaching, the confidence, the whatever to hop into the game.
So I think when you have, and I think CrossFit is really interesting where you can have someone get a very strong run um has the natural abilities um but what they needed was
the confidence and that's kind of the glue that puts it all together and so you have some like
ariel alone who has zero pressure on her back then when she was doing that at the at the live event
um to hop in the game and just be like all right well let's go we'll just line them up and see what
happens if she loses who cares no one thought she was going to do anything anyway.
But once you start winning and you're like, oh, all right, this is kind of fun, you know, you get into that flow state and start kicking ass.
As opposed to people like Colton Mertens and Rebecca Fuselier, who it is, you know, I mean, I don't train with them or live with them.
But the perspective I have on them is is that they have given every everything
everything man they are like they're working with uh limited resources and uh whether it be you know
whether it be with their gym their time their stature and yet they're fucking nothing's gonna
get in their way who has more to lose the person that is all in or the person's it's just like
i got nothing to lose but let's just let's in or the person's it's just like i got
nothing to lose but let's just let's go out i mean i'll give you everything i got right but i mean
it's not my entire life where everything's and my world's going to crumble if i don't make it kind
of a thing that's a good question bill who's got more to lose the ariel lowens or daniel brandon's
of the world or the colton mertens and re's. Wait, why Daniel Brandon? She's all in.
I know you've said all in. Like I feel like Ariel.
I'm talking about before I'm talking about before I'm talking about before,
uh, the arrow before she made it to the games. Not, uh, I'm, I mean, you know,
you're talking, you're talking about Curtin Martin's now Curtin.
Jeez. Oh man. I like it. I like it. I like it.
Curtin Merton. Now old me Curtin's Merton's. geez oh man i like it i like it i like it now old meat curtains mertens
um if if that is your entire thing where you live breathe sleep crossfit training
the games and that's that's the whole deal like it's hard if you don't make it there because
where else are you going?
And I'm not saying it's a bad thing.
I'm just saying it's a very hard thing.
I mean, there's a lot of pressure you put on yourself that that person is going to take if that's the case.
Now, granted— Oh, shit.
Colton's outside.
Is this by—
That's worldwide.
Oh, thank God.
Don't fucking do that, Caleb.
He's got a new sign.
His mustache almost turned white on that one.
Hey, listen to this.
Hey, watch it, buddy.
Seve throws a hat on and Bill dyes his beard gray and you wouldn't know he's sitting down.
I'll take it.
I'll take it.
As long as Bill doesn't stand up.
Yeah, we're fine.
Grunler and Seve's parallel universe.
I didn't see these coming.
I should have.
Shit.
Shit.
Okay.
So this is a hard competition.
The quarterfinals this year, hard, Hiller, relative to other quarterfinals?
Yeah.
H-A-R-D.
I would say so.
When I first looked at them,
there was a handful of people who really didn't like the way that everything looked.
And then once you sit on it for a little bit,
it becomes more and more interesting to the point where it's almost likable.
And I'm wondering if any of you guys share that opinion.
Cause I,
I think a couple of you may have shared the opinion that we didn't like it at
first,
but now it's like a bull.
Uh,
uh,
Grendler hard.
And do you like it?
Um,
honestly,
I,
I,
and when I say hard,
I mean,
is it difficult enough or too difficult for where it was placed
some things yes some things no um i think that like i really like the clean and jerk burpee
box jump over working i like that um but honestly i think that the weight may have been a touch
heavy for the field not to say that you couldn't have some people do it but like i think that we already went heavy with the thruster in the open so we already got like your top end
strength people why give them another event when the burpees didn't mean anything on this
uh but i didn't think i didn't think it was bad i i like that event can we set that question back
a little bit someone from easy said it's a very hard competition and i got immediately into the
track of the people was talking about at the top
of the leaderboard and i think bill's talking about the rest of the field i'm like the ninja
is wickedly heavy for someone who signed up to take 100 place yeah yeah how heavy were they what
was the weight on them 275 and 195 185 for the women right uh to put that in perspective what
was the weight on the deadlift burpee workout in 2000?
225, 155.
Was it 1 to 10, 10 to 1?
No, in Aromas.
In the deadlift ladder?
Yeah, it was a deadlift burpee workout in Aromas in 2000.
Oh, yeah, 275.
Or maybe it was even 255. So there, in 2009, the deadlift's 275,5 and now flash forward to 2023 and they got to clean this 275.
Yeah.
Okay.
Which I mean, but this workout, but I, but I like the workout.
I mean, I, I like what it is.
I, I don't dislike it.
I would at the programmer part of me would have made the burpees count a little bit more.
I would have changed the number of the burpees.
I had the five burpee. That was a a waste of time didn't even need them at all
it's only one guys why you why i didn't know you and hillary were such pussies it's only one
no it's one to five so round one it's one round two it's two round three it's three
so your last round you're doing five burpee box jumpers and five cleaning jerks it's 15 total
all right fine all right and when i first looked at it too and i hated the entire competition until that one workout changed i swear it's how it works like oh
it's 15 clean and jerks all right all right fair enough awesome just like that
hey math is hard for seven no seven is hard for your mom easy barry dang sorry go ahead mike
oh uh i think the other thing you're
gonna see is that there's a bunch of us texting about how hard this these tests are to judge
versus how how good of tests they are for the athletes like there's a big difference there
between saying like are these good tests to find the the 300 athletes that are going to go to the
next stage versus saying like well how hard is it
to judge a v-up or what did they write themselves or not write themselves into with some of this
i don't know we're going to talk about that but like that's the other thing that you see us like
going on about but it doesn't exactly reflect itself on like well did how did justin do in
comparison to these tests or how did colton do or down the line? I mean, I think honestly for the athletes, it doesn't matter what the test is.
If you want to compete, it doesn't matter because they're not going to change it for you.
You can't say, you know, this is a program, stupid, so we should totally change whatever.
No, you get on the line.
They say three, two, one, go, and you just go as hard and as fast as you can go.
That's the athlete's job.
And so I like to see a lot of the athletes not giving a shit about what the workouts are, not giving a shit about the, what we're doing V-ups, what we're doing
crossovers. This is stupid. And I now need to get a beaded rope. And it's like, okay, you're going to
everyone that's complaining about all of that stuff. You're not an athlete anymore. Like,
like get on the line and race. That's what you're supposed to do. Now the coaches, the coach's job
have to figure out, all right, how are you going to handle all of these different things v-ups uh maybe a heavy cleaning
jerk depending on who your athlete is um a wall facing handstand push-up um which we did figure
out you could keep those if you did those correctly i don't think so i think the rules it says you
gotta keep your legs extended you have to i don't think it says you have to stay straight. There was a
single lady that we saw that
was able to do it.
You can keep it, meaning she doesn't have a boyfriend
or just one lady. Toes have to stay on the wall.
Toes have to start on the wall and end on the wall,
right? Give me a minute.
I'm going to go with, I bet
I put 50 bucks
on it. You can't do it. Preach it,
Bill. Preach it. We'll see. You know can't do it preach it bill preach it we'll see we'll see the uh you know
well honestly it's hard to even say it's hard to even say i mean well whatever whatever the pieces
are because that'll be another thing that we'll talk about here in a second is you know the coach
is trying to figure out all right well so what are you going to do with these different pieces
and how are you going to how you're going to work your way through there as a programmer
i wasn't overly impressed with with the stuff that were put up.
I mean, the race is a race, and it's cool to see some people have to deal with whatever.
Legs must remain straight.
Ah, okay.
Throughout the repetition.
So even when you got to keep your heels on the wall, you still got to keep your legs straight.
So your video where your knees were bent to get your heels straight, that counted.
I think my hips can go full circle i can just rotate um but see that's another thing that like
um the the the crossfit games didn't make it or made it hard to know what the hell you were
supposed to do and i think like you if you're talking about hard, like physically hard, mentally hard, or programmably hard, like what am I supposed to
do when you're telling me that I need to wear, uh, I need to have my toes on the wall or my heels on
the wall. Well, okay. It's stomach. I mean, I'm stomach facing. So why is it saying heels? Like
that's an easy fix to do. Why are you saying that these are going to be snatches when it's a three
15 deadlift at the end? Why you have all of these things?
You have to have the video here, but you don't need to show the video here or you should do the video here.
Like get all your shit set up so that there aren't all these dumb questions to find out what it is that we're supposed to do so that they know how to do their do their movements, how they're going to be judged, when they're going to be judged, all the things.
So to me, that was way harder.
I don't think it was physically harder for the athletes, the top end athletes.
I think it was hard for some of the gen pop 10 percenters that made it in for like the 275
and basically a straight handstand push up to the front like that, some weird movements like that.
For the newer, younger athletes, younger athletes that we're saying yeah ones that are like
you know the the 90 the 91st percentile like we have we have we have uh people in my gym that
qualified and i mean they're not games level athletes but they're like oh shoot okay i made
it in there i was 92 then i was 90 and bounced around or whatever and then they made it in
and then they're
trying these movements and it was i think interesting for them to try things but i i just
think that at this stage it's not the stage to try cute new brand new things like it should be
increased intensity increased weight increased volume as we step towards live competition where
now you can have every all the athletes sit down and have
their briefing and say, here's what this movement looks like. Anyone have any questions on what you
can do in this? Can we do this? Can we do that? No, you can't. Yes, you can. Boom, done. Everyone's
doing the same thing. Not where you put it to thousands of people that are trying to guess
is it heels on the wall, toes on the wall? Is it hand on the tape, not hand on the tape when you're doing the handstand walks?
What ended up being the thing on that?
You're not allowed to have your hand on the tape.
No, they've got to be in front of the tape or behind the tape, I guess,
depending on which side of the line you're on.
Are you talking handstand walk or handstand push-ups?
The handstand walk.
Handstand walks, your hands need to be on the ground before the tape
and then step over the tape
what happened to that guy yesterday who had second place in that
did he get pulled off
that right I don't know
there was a guy in second place yesterday
we watched his video
and he clearly wasn't
within the rules so when someone does that
what's the deal there you dock them
points or it's automatic DQ for not following the rules?
Depends on how big your name is.
No shit?
Is it like that?
This is the accidental part that I was talking about.
This was my accidental part.
You're going to have people that will get in.
This was not like accidentally I wasn't trying to go to the games.
Just like what you were saying, Andrew.
Depending on the name of you of who you are you
may or may not get someone looking at did your fingers touch the tape when you started on your
handstand walk even though you got the second fastest time of the world but didn't on anything
else how did tetlow do on the first on the fifth workout before we go find that guy how did tetlow
do they took that score down okay so he did okay he did great so tetla's going that was the man yeah good job
dude but he got smoked by mertens and fit wars that's still worldwide um wad zombie preach bill
okay listen i think eventually we will do we do need to do a whole programming show did you want
to get in a word hillary before i switch gears on this here? He brought up the – I think what I took away from that is that it was too much too soon
and maybe too much in general for the stage.
Yes.
Number one, is that true?
I believe it.
I feel my opinion is it wasn't appropriate to move the people to the next stage,
the next qualifying stage.
That's what I think.
And then, so this could have been okay, possibly a semifinal
where they had judges on the field and possibly a briefing.
Did you hear the bit where Brian spoke on how they had games-level judges
at training?
Oh, my God, dude.
I fucking love that part.
By the online review team yes i
thought that which which i which i will say is this and this right here seven is a whole brand
new show for you yeah the idea like to find out what max paid them first of all and then to get
a judges group where they now can get hired out to go and do these things, and they should trump any online
thing. If they're games
judges,
and they get hired,
and I'm not saying right now.
Right now, obviously, it's going to be whatever.
But, I mean,
now you're going to get people that actually
will want to be judges because they can get paid
to be a judge for this kind of stuff.
That would be awesome.
It gets it close to the 2020 games. I i'm gonna send max el haj an invite to come on in 49 minutes we have tello we have tello coming on in eight minutes sick and if we can ask it would
be great to be fun to hear that story right but like i if they're three hour show if we do that
by the way games and they're not. They get overrun.
Like, really?
I would have thought that the internal workings, the internal groups of CrossFit would have been like,
okay, we're going to know what you're going to do.
Obviously.
They judge at the games, and whatever.
No rep.
Good.
Since Ted Lowe is joining us in eight minutes, let me shift gears here.
Can we pull up his region
where he's
going to be? Is he
West or East? North America West or East?
Mr. Tetlo.
Anyone?
I think that he is
West.
Tetlo doing
what he is while active duty is freaking...
No shit, he's active duty.
Okay.
His wife is a cop, too.
But what's funny is that they don't have the occupational games this year.
Well, it's because they need to make sure they put the time in and concentrate on...
On what matters.
On what matters.
Oh, Jesus.
On what matters on what matters oh jesus i'm gonna guess his wife does crossfit too okay holy shit he's six in his he's six in his uh
region okay so um uh correct me if i'm wrong here guys i uh i say a lot of shit that's not true and
you guys just stop me but what we're looking at here is these 60 guys that you're about to see,
they are all going to the semifinal in North America West, which is in?
California.
Pasadena?
Yeah.
Okay.
Justin Medeiros, the champ, going for a third win for the CrossFit Games.
Patrick Vellner, Bill Leahy.
I think we should talk about him.
I don't know what happened with him, but people in the comments are demanding some bill lahey talk
no uh quote with something with a rower people are saying amongst the other movements within
that same workout okay we got to be careful because uh uh i'd like to get him on the show
let's not torch him hey i like him too i'll just maybe a little fire under him michael stevenson
and then in sixth place uh uh, Scott Tetlow.
Um,
we'll find out here soon,
but I thought last year was Tetlow's last year.
I thought it was like,
he asked his wife to do a year.
He was all in last year and that was it.
And he was toast.
He was done right off into the sunset.
I don't recall that.
Okay.
You say that on here?
Where do you say that?
I maybe,
yeah,
maybe I felt like he was just,
he had an all in last year and then he was done. And i'm wondering if this is one of those things that uh grenler
was kind of referring to you know ariel low and take the pressure off you and then enter the event
and well i mean you've seen other people do that too like you know scott panchuk's kind of had that
kind of that kind of i'm done comes in and just starts crushing everybody yeah you know i mean
like that kind of stuff can happen you take take the pressure off. It does wonders.
Let's keep looking.
Let's keep going down the,
the line here.
Take Brent Fikowski seventh.
Any shock there that Brent did so well or, or,
or,
or,
or not so well.
You guys like his placement for him?
Yeah.
Honestly.
Yeah.
Luis Oscar,
Moya,
Cole Sager,
Chandler Smith,
Jack Rosamond,
Matt Poulin.
Let's keep going. Philip Muscarella. I think. Oh yeah. Yeah. Uh, Luis Oscar Moya, Cole Sager, Chandler Smith, Jack Rosamond, Matt Poulin. Uh,
let's keep going.
Phillip Muscarella.
I think.
Oh yeah.
Colton Merton's 15th.
It doesn't look like there's been much move since yesterday.
There wasn't much after that workout.
The big movement was after day two.
A lot of it.
Awesome.
Hey,
Scott,
what's up,
dude?
Hey,
what's going on fellas? Hey, what's going on, fellas?
Hey, congratulations.
You had a kick-ass showing.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Hey.
Did you ask him right away?
Yeah.
Because you retired, now it's all easy for you?
What happened?
Scott, I feel like I talked to you.
I heard you say that last year was your last year.
You had a little talk with the family.
You were all in, gave it your all last year, and then that was it.
No, it was last year.
Okay, well, fuck that story.
Scratch that.
I'll scratch you on that.
No, it was last year at the end of Semis.
I had a talk with my wife about saying, like, hey, I want to give it one more go.
And this is, you know, a possibility.
I'm not saying I'm done.
But, you know, i just had that conversation my
wife was like cool yeah do it what do if you want to do it another year then let's go for it
so uh she supported me and that's that's where that that's how that is not not last year was
my last year and what does that look like when it's your last year when you say you're all in
does that mean at three in the morning like when the dog needs to take a piss you get to sleep and
she walks the uh she i she, I'm serious.
Cause that's the way the shit is in my house.
I'll be like, I'll tell my wife I'm having Scott Tetlow on tomorrow.
I got to sleep good.
Then she knows if she hears the dog scratching the door at three in the morning, it's her turn to get it.
But if I got a live calling show and I'm just fucking around talking about trannies, then I go in, then I fucking let the dog out.
No, it's more just, uh, you know, Hey, I got, can I go to the gym for an hour? Yeah, I got the kids. That's fine. That's more just uh you know hey i got can i go to the gym for an hour yeah i got the kids
that's fine that that's more with this like okay so you still would have to get up in the middle
of the night if something to to let the dog out or something i get up a lot because i got an
eight month eight month old in the house right now so i get up like three times a night crazy
wait you're telling me you work out an hour a day? No, no, no, no. I get about two and a half hours a day.
Okay.
I was going to say, that's damn good for an eight-month-old and working out one hour a day.
Can I just get one hour?
Sure.
Okay.
Well, that's after work, so yeah.
Copy that.
Got it.
Scott, did you wrestle?
No, I did not.
I played football and baseball.
What position did you play in football?
Nose tackle tackle defensive line.
Wow.
No shit.
Yeah.
Holy shit.
What level high school,
college high school.
Yeah,
no,
uh,
I'm way too short for college.
Hey,
I tried to go on baseball.
I want to hear it.
Um,
uh,
Scott,
I'm going to ask you,
can,
can you bring up the,
um,
the leaderboard,
uh,
Mr.
Beaver,
um, which of these workouts, um, uh, Scott, I'm going to ask you, can, can you bring up the, um, the leaderboard, uh, Mr. Beaver, um, which of these workouts, um, uh, could you, if I would have told you,
Hey, I would give you a million dollars. If you do better that you'd be like, yeah, I guarantee you could have done better on
this one.
Which one of these is not indicative of how good you are.
Which one of these did you shit the bed on?
Or did you just have amazing performances on all?
And you're like, fuck you seven.
I murdered it.
I'm in seventh.
Well, I kind of, I think it's hard to tell either between the 3rd or the 4th one
because I stuck with the row pace.
And then I don't know if I messed up my pace on the row,
but I was just like, geez, I felt like I stuck to my pace
and I didn't even get off the rower for the 3rd one.
And maybe my pacing was a little bit off on that.
Maybe I should have rowed a little bit faster or my GHGs were off.
But based off of what I normally do, I felt like I was a little bit off on that.
I was expecting to finish the third row.
What was your pace?
I was holding about a 149, 150.
Maybe my GHGs were slower on the second round.
I haven't gone back and watched the videos or anything.
But I would say if I was to do – I don't know if i would improve much on any of them especially the third one just because
it's it's a short time short time so it's hard to improve on a five minute workout that much
and but over the 20 over 20 minutes i think i could have picked up a few more reps
uh any penalties any severe penalties or any penalties you got? Not yet. I've gotten all of them accepted with the exception of the fourth one yet,
which is the V-ups.
I know from what I've been seeing is that a lot of guys have been getting hit on that.
Were your feet together?
I went back and reviewed my video, and I would say 95% of my reps,
my feet were together.
Usually it's like the start.
I've noticed that the start of every single one of them,
my feet were not as close together as they were for the remainder of reps
as I was able to string them together.
That's a good man.
Halpin, why they're not doing them in order?
He said he has confirmation that all of his workouts are good except for
four. Is that normal? Or is that, is that a red flag? Like he should be like,
yeah, you're fucked.
The only athlete that I've specifically heard about was quant and he was
fifth in that workout. So for, for, for which number, for which workout,
the fourth workout. Okay. And he's already that's, Oh,
that was the post that quant made where he lost 90 on the V-ups, yeah.
What did you think about the event in its totality, Scott?
And what did you think about the 275 on the clean?
I thought the – overall, the quarterfinal, it was different this year.
You threw in some higher-skilled movements.
I guess the crossoversvers i wasn't expecting to see
those i expect to see those possibly like next year something trickled down see them at semi
finals as they trickle down from the games but uh overall i thought it was a pretty good test
uh threw in different different uh time domains uh so but the uh the two 75 barbell, I mean, that's, that's like my one RM power clean.
So it was a, it was, it was squat.
It was squat clean for me the entire time.
Okay.
So these guys were saying that they thought that that was pretty heavy.
Um, uh, guys, Bill, this is fucking, I mean, maybe I'm just a traditionalist.
You drop to one knee and ask a girl to marry you.
And she says yes or no.
And, um, you move forward but
why why were the crossovers why didn't they trickle to semi-finals and then to quarterfinals
and then to the open are we being too traditional or do you think that's the way it should be like
i like what scott's saying i've said that many times like dude let's give this thing a fucking
chance to make it down the fucking uh totem pole iem pole. I have a hard time saying that any movement is a bad movement to judge competition on,
as long as everyone kind of knows that that's coming down the pipe.
When you have something that's kind of out of, and I don't want to say it's left field,
because we have seen the double over crossovers.
So we have seen that.
Anyone that wants to be a games athlete and is looking that way, you know that they've messed with it. They know that they've played with it.
But there's also a difference between a double over crossover and a single under crossover.
I mean, we've seen I mean, how many games of athletes can't do regular single unders for 100 unbroken?
We've seen that mess people up. So, you know, I think it's a valid movement.
I think it's a valid movement.
I just think that it would have been more valid to show fitness if you gave people,
if you gave everyone a little bit more of a heads up on that.
And yeah,
do I think it could,
why not just wait until semifinals and then you can say,
yeah,
I don't have any problem.
I really think that if you're going to go with some new type things,
you don't do it in an online setting because it just, there
are too many questions, too many ways that people are going to try to, their interpretation of what
the rules are, the definition of how this movement is supposed to be done and executed or whatever.
So if you're going to do something different and quote unquote unique, put it where you can have a
live setting with live judges and a live athlete briefing where they
can get all those answered and those things done. I don't even have a problem with it being,
you know, right away. It can be where you have a new movement right away. Hey,
all the athletes were pulling you all in. Here's what it looks like. This is what's going to be.
Ask your questions away. Here's the equipment you get to play with and get to experiment with it.
So you're going to know if you can do whatever,
but if you let the athletes see some things coming down like this, then you don't really know. I mean, how, how many people mess up,
messed up the first jump on the crossover?
How many, how many different ropes do you got?
And did you have it ready and prepared for when this workout came out?
Because you smoked it.
Yeah, I smoked it.
Yeah, I didn't actually.
I switched ropes probably about 10 minutes before I did it.
I'll be honest with you.
I haven't attempted a crossover jump rope maybe twice.
Twice.
I figured it out.
I used a RX rope.
One of the class ones.
Kind of like the, what's the swivel?
The swivel one.
Oh, their Evo rope.
Is that their Evo one?
With that little bead on it at the end or whatever.
Yeah, with the little bead on the end.
It's a thicker, heavier rope.
It's an RX one. Let me see. No see no not that one which other ones did you try like the blue one oh that's like
their general class yeah so it's a little heavier setup yeah it's like which other ones did you try
and which ones definitely oh i didn't that's the only one i had other than that i had to go over
i got an rpm rope other than that i had to go the, uh, to the gym stock of jump ropes and go figure out which one I wanted to use
for this event.
I don't have,
I didn't have like a beaded one or anything.
Um,
that's what I was saying earlier.
Just do it.
Cause you're an athlete.
Make it work.
I have,
I,
I,
I really have a hard time with the fact that that movement,
a hard time with the fact that that movement my daughter's seven years old she can do crossover sync damn like give me a fucking break you guys come on like is it is is it a speed rope thing
with a super short speed rope when you're really efficient on double unders no you have to use a
different rope obviously you're not going to see any little kid out on the playground well the ones that still hang out on the playground and do things like that
um they're not going to be using a speed rope they'll use a heavier rope they use one of the
like you know one of the beaten ones that everyone's trying to get it was fine again it was
fine i think it's fine but i think that if you have this heavy 275 clean and jerk and then you have a movement that my second grader
can do like that just seems off kilter to me same thing with v-ups i i don't i don't think v-ups
need to be in a quarterfinal setup scott um it's it's funny um on the other hand that the irony
here is is right before you came on too bill's's like, but the athletes should just be like, I don't give a fuck. I want to go to the games and they just do the shit. Is that your mindset? Do you just see this and you're like, I'll let these guys on the Sevan podcast, bitch. I just kick some ass.
No, I had my 10 minute gripe session. Then after that, I went over to him.
Good man right there.
man right there that's what i said i was like hey that i just the athlete's got to come out and be so all it is is coordination to kind of figure it out and just adapt adapt to it so i went home i
practiced it during my warm-ups like it was probably five hours before i did the first event
i practiced with the jump rope before i did the first event to warm up and then after that i
spent about 20 minutes practicing some more
in between and then i like 20 minutes warming up for the next for the uh for the second event i
practiced some more and i finally some some guy grabbed the uh some guy grabbed the jump rope
was like here let me see if i can do it and he did it and i watched him do it and i go oh okay
and then literally i grabbed the rope and i actually ended up knocking out like 20 of them in a row and i was like okay i got it let me let me ask you guys here all just
on this athlete on this setup right here syllables do you think that this movement would have been
better in the open or double unders in the open i think that everyone who's complaining about the
type of movement so somewhere in the
comments you just said why not do toes to bar it's like shut the hell up like toes to bar
he didn't mean it please donate money andrew didn't mean it please sorry sorry you're jumping
a rope you're jumping a rope and it's because you're so good at toes to bar that you prefer
them or maybe you're used to them so they'd be like oh cool toes to bar i love toes to bar well here's v setups it's the same thing kind of sort of but scott is
the athlete so he can do it on a fly and you're upset because you're not that's why he's in
freaking whatever place where are you 22nd in the world no shit hey um uh mike games this is a sport
be an athlete and figure it out figure an athlete and figure out a crossover.
I'm sick of the excuses.
Scott, you put all this work in to try to get to the games this year.
Are you the fittest you've ever been?
I don't know.
My body feels different every single day I wake up.
I woke up with freaking backaches some days.
And so I don't know. I'm just trying to have fun with it and just see where I go with it.
That's all.
I'm taking it one day at a time.
Because you're doing so – is this the best you've ever done?
I mean, no.
I guess qualifying for the games in 2020 was the best I've ever done.
Sorry.
This is the best start of the season.
I feel the most consistent, I would say.
Yeah, shit.
You're going to do so well this year that you're going to have to leverage that.
It's like buying a spa and only then using it just on the 4th of July.
I think we're going to see you for a couple of years now.
I think you're going to be like the male Ariel Lowen.
Ooh.
Oh, wow.
Cool.
So what happens now? You're in. now you're, you're in, have the, well,
theoretically you're in right. What will happen? What's the next steps?
They send you confirming your fourth workout and then they tell you,
they invite you to semifinals.
Yeah. So, I mean, that's what I assume.
I have to wait until I get the fourth, the fourth workout acceptance email
saying that my video is good and all my reps were good and then later
down the road they'll send us like because we already know what semi-final we're going to based
on location so they'll just send us an invite to that to that look uh that semi-final and uh and
the goal obviously since we're talking about is go to the games. This is, you're making, you're making the run. 100%. That's the ultimate goal.
Yeah.
Uh, bitching.
Uh, how's the body feel?
You, you, you, I mean, all, all systems go.
Yeah.
Everything feels good.
Can't complain.
I felt worse.
Let's put it that way.
How many kids do you have?
Two.
Uh, eight month.
And what's the other one?
Seven.
Can your seven year old doold do a uh crossover single
no he just does pull-ups he goes in my garage and he just loves the rings i almost got him doing a
ring muscle-up that's what i'm trying to get him to do right now uh good luck scott thank you
uh all right brother uh thanks you for coming on your attitude
you look fucking amazing you don't look like a guy who just
had you know three days of hell
and your attitude's awesome and
I hope we can keep talking and I hope
you make it to the games it's fun watching you do
I have two questions
oh sorry Mr. Hiller has something for you
yes Mr. Hiller thank you
did you repeat any of these or is it one and done
no I did I repeated two of them.
I repeated the jump rope one because I couldn't –
so my goal for quarterfinals was to finish top 10
because I wanted to be in that final heat starting out in semis.
You did the sixth in the region, right?
Yeah.
So I knew the first time I did the double under workout,
I only got like five rounds or something because
because of the jump rope so as again like i said i'm going home and i practice around
what's that you added around well two rounds because i got i got five rounds and some some
change into it i got 399 reps whatever that was and then uh so i went so i went up and did it
again the next morning and then i redid the fifth one because I was sitting eighth,
19 points out of 10th place.
And rope climbs aren't really my strongest.
And so I was like, let's see what I can do.
Just repeat this one and try to solidify my top 10.
How much quicker would you change and why?
What's that?
How much quicker did you go and would you change?
I went 10 seconds
faster shit and i i guess i didn't i didn't mess around with my grips during the i know i went back
and watched my video and i spent like 15 seconds taking off my grips to the from the uh bar muscle
to the deadlifts and i was like why did that? Like, let's just take them off.
How many places does that move them?
Can you see how often, or can anyone see those 10 seconds?
You would have gone from 10th to 6th, so you picked up four spots.
Yeah, damn, that's awesome.
That would have been worth it.
Oh, wait.
No, dude, that's worth it.
Overall?
Yeah.
In your region.
Yeah.
Okay, so then, yeah, it probably was worth it.
And then the other question is how well prepared did you feel as a result of having participated in fit wars against colton
mertens prepared i prepared you for this so i wanted so i i was uh a lot of people don't know
this but for fit wars like the day before, I actually was in the urgent care getting a shot in the ass because I was running 102 fever.
And I was like, well, it's too late now to back out because it was already a go time.
So I went to urgent care.
I was like, no, give me a shot.
Wow.
For what again?
Because you had a crazy high temp?
I had something.
I don't know what it was.
I'm sorry.
It was 36 hours before that.
It felt like absolute dog crap.
I was in the urgent care getting shot in the ass.
Damn.
For some reason, I thought you were.
No matter what, he still crushed me.
I mean.
And you beat him in the quarterfinals, though.
I can't wait to see you guys.
That's awesome you guys are in the same semifinals together.
Yeah, dude.
If this were the MMA, you would go, I need aatch i wasn't at my best i'm calling the champ out
we're going to the same semi-final so we get our rematch i guess i say a lot of other people
cool all right dude uh thank you very much uh have a great day and thanks for taking the time
to talk to us of course anytime take care. Take care, guys. All right, brother.
Bye.
Scott Telo, sixth, seventh?
Mark Moss said he took four out of five in the quarterfinals,
so that would – no, do live competition.
That'll be the rematch.
I like that.
Oh, Telo beat him in four out of the five.
I don't know which way that was going, actually.
Someone won four out of the five. Jeez, look at Christine christine's young will colton has a disease jeez louise
yeah easy easy what's up dudes what's up okay let's go let's go back um and let's go through
these lists really quick here uh we have two hours to do it oh i wonder if max uh responded to me let me see uh let me see here come on wouldn't that
be great um thanks johnny oh darn it um uh curtain i forgot he said he said i can't uh
this evening i can get you j Jake's contact. Who's Jake?
Jake.
Berman?
Berman.
Oh.
Oh, because he's the one that got jacked from the judge.
Yeah, that'd be great. I still want to know how much he paid the judges.
I wonder if I have Jake Berman's phone number.
No, I don't.
All right.
Fuck.
I'd love to know what happened.
Let's hear Jake.
Okay.
Sure.
Okay.
I'll ask him for Jake.
Do you have Jake's number?
Help?
No.
Yes.
Can you put me in touch with Jake?
This is how they do it on espn too
i was just looking at jakes uh because brian had done that poll of athletes that got uh some sort
of adjustment on that first workout jakes is pretty bad his his move from 659 to 801 ellie turner moved from 1058 to 1236 so that's a minute
and a half um dallin pepper only moved 12 seconds from what i could tell nate ackerman moved about
30 seconds so there's there's a list of 17 athletes that brian sent me so is this though
is this uh um this is north america oh this is
north america east okay let's go let's go back to north america west real quick i just want to
make it through there and see if there's anything uh we want to talk about any surprises there
let's just scroll through the names uh 1000 of these listeners are bots so of course always
god yeah any is there anyone nice in the comments is there anyone uh luis oscar mora
you can scroll i'm not going to read all the names uh can you can everyone see these names
uh two okay pause uh tutor magda a good placing uh for the young man
14th hell yeah right now sure he going to the games, guys? He is.
If there's a lifting event at the semifinal,
he's going to shine in that.
I mean, he won that 275
clean and jerk workout.
He was impressive as all hell
at Zellos games.
Does anyone know this guy
Roldan Goldbaum?
Isn't he some...
Didn't he finish really high in the open top five like it
doesn't matter but he did barry mccockner dollar 99 he's a nice guy uh john wood speaking of barry
mccockner there's your cousin uh chris okay let's keep rolling uh daniel kook is that really homeboy's name that's not real is that my profile what the
fuck is going on here you found my fake profile man is that really uh someone uh help me out here
what is up with this dude i use errors judging everything. Get it off the screen. No. Oh, no way.
Is that really yours, Hiller?
Oh.
I was going to make a whole video on that.
Hey, and J.R.'s that dude.
Let me see that.
And J.R. Howell is that dude's judge. Oh, no.
Oh, no.
You were talking about Cucks the other day.
Wow. Oh, Patrick Clark says Daniel is
real and he's legit
yeah I paid him to say that
oh you guys are fucking with my head
I can't tell what the truth is here
yeah I got
you though
hold on I want to check Instagram
because I can't tell if you're telling the truth
let me see uh uh daniel uh kuc google you'll be fine instagram the layers
are getting deeper he'll create an entire instagram page for him as well well the guy
only has 37 followers so maybe you did i can can't believe how many Daniel Cucks there are.
Someone tell me if this guy's real.
Someone in the comments, please tell me.
I can't.
Okay, here we go.
What's this?
What is this?
It's not the first one I found.
Oh, Daniel Cuck advances.
Holy shit.
He's real.
There he is
whoa
shit
what year is that
that's 2018
okay yeah
so he's a young kid
alright
maybe he's an adult now
hey
but
why is he on the west coast
why is he on the west coast
if he's a crossfit crash guy, I get whatever.
Who knows how this works?
You can do the quarterfinals at any place you want.
Okay, so he went out to JR's place, but now he's competing in the West.
Okay, Justin Rose, Will Bennett, let's keep going.
I'm glad we were able to.
So that's not you, Hiller.
Matthew Green.
Oh, baby, he's in.
You know who that is monster do you know about him
no what's his deal he basically he's uh he's in the military i think he's a police officer
and he's huge he i remember granite games in something like 2016 or 17 obliterated everybody
on the 10k row by minutes and he's got these crazy rowing workouts and he's he uh it'll be cool to watch unless
there's something super crossfit out there unless he's been working on that but he used to just do
rowing workouts assault bike workouts he did a 20 minute or a 20 minute emom of 20 burpees on the
minute over the bar oh here we go oh shit a bunch of people are sending me jake's uh contact info it's pouring in
okay let's keep scrolling uh logan oh cool so logan's headed off to uh the semi-finals
um thank you patrick uh nick matthew uh any surprise here nick at 32nd or he's just doing
his thing i think he's just kind of doing his thing.
I mean, he just...
What's the other workouts?
Because he looks great on those.
Did he just take a dive somewhere?
I think he peaked at 11.74, 293.
Yeah, it was in the row event.
Okay, let's keep headed down.
They've been skipping their warm-ups.
Marlo, that's not Jake Farlow.
That's Jacob Marlo.
So it's like an imposter.
Jake Farlow's up.
Anthony Davis is back.
Okay, that's nice.
That's awesome.
Yep.
Anything in here that you guys see?
Oh, wow, 36. look at that 36 yeah this is a good time to
mention this um so age group athletes so masters and teens they can do both the age group semi-final
which is online and the live semi-final for either team or individual. So there are some athletes that could potentially do both.
And if they take a ticket to the live semifinal,
that means that athletes that are on the bubble currently wouldn't get those
spots.
So if you're 60 to 70 and a teen athlete wants to go to the semifinal because
they qualified, they could, they could do that. Plus the,
the online semifinal because they qualified they could they could do that plus the the online semifinal so this guy charles could do masters and the regular and decide based on his
finish and then same with on the other end with the kids a curse that or could choose to do kids
and the adults and then wait till see the results to choose correct i'm good with no they'll know
based on when the semifinal is, I believe, for the age group,
they'll know if they've qualified through the age group.
But at that point, it could be a backup option.
So Olivia is a perfect example. She could qualify through age group quarterfinals, age group semifinals,
still go to the individual semifinal and say,
I'm going to go to the games via this way because I didn't get it this other way.
How much trend would Seve need to qualify?
I'm not sure that I'd do it for him.
You asshole.
Hey.
It'd be cool, but.
What if, Halbert, I think you were touching on this what if um is there enough time for them to backfill um
so you're saying the age group qualifier will happen before the semi-finals yeah so then if i
let's say i get into the age group will they have enough time to backfill the semi-final
i'll go look at the schedule right now that That's interesting. Okay. I mean, you'd hope that there would be,
I would win at a boxing match.
Uh,
age group semifinal is on April 28th through April 30th.
So they would know about a month before.
Okay.
I wonder if they are going to do the live semifinals at the end of May.
Right.
I believe.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay. Let's keep going through the men.
Oh, this should be fun.
Katrin is near the bubble in North America West.
We're going to do women next.
Let's keep going.
Justin Dewing.
Anthony Yim.
Sean Sweeney.
Cowboy.
Is he going?
I heard he ended up in there, so that's cool.
Yeah, he might be your athlete. I don't know. I thought he was't trying, and he ended up in there, so that's cool. Yeah, he might be your athlete.
I don't know.
I thought he was the athlete that retired.
The male aerial loan?
Yeah, he could be that one.
Well, yeah, he could do that, but I don't think he's going to go, though.
I still don't think he's going to go.
I like him.
So these people will do it.
Okay, so let's look at the next 15.
Sean accidentally made it. Let's look at the next 15 uh sean accidentally made it let's look at the next 15 so it's fair to say between all the people who
are going to go team etc and people who aren't going to go that they're going to go down to at
least 65 right i think so yeah yeah i don't recognize any adam dickus is that a real name
uh isaac campbell mitch mcclune that's a great name great name. That's a real person. He's out of Rhino.
Yep.
He's going team, I believe.
So there you go.
They're 61.
Jason Zabot.
Let's keep going down.
Let's look at these next.
Mitch McClune.
Stuart Jones.
Chutes.
There's Jordy.
Oh, Jordy's going, you guys.
At 66. That's about where he was last year
that's where he was and dude he got messed up by the by the same thing that was an issue this
year last year was the the shuttle runs this year it's the single unders look at his other workouts
and then look at the single unders what's's the historical record here, guys, on testing?
Could anyone test positive before we get to semifinals?
Is there testing going on now, random testing,
where someone could test and not?
No.
No way, Jose.
Okay.
Let's go look at the women, North America West.
Mark it in four.
That's the only one I did, event four.
These workouts are too hard to set up and do tim paulson has a video of him doing it in his gym he's got three barbells out and it yeah it takes so much time wow ariel lowen dear lord right look
at that uh and good on rebecca too ariel lowen alex kazan danny spiegel how did foosley
do on that clean oh you you think that would hurt her how did she do on that which workout
she did dude she did great she was 47 in her region yeah that's crazy man that's huge everyone
was a hater i didn't i thought she was gonna be great that's crazy she's a one and done
alice nyc bill grundler and 1000 listeners that's all it takes great. That's crazy. She's a one and done. Allison NYC, Bill Grundler,
and 1,000 listeners. That's all it takes.
What's going on around here?
There's an OG right there. Look at that.
Did Lou
asshole make it?
Loose asshole make it?
It's loose asshole, dude.
Sorry. Not this year.
We're tending to his injuries and he'll be back
okay let's uh go back over to the z girls
uh kelly baker hey dude that's a that's a crazy name from the past do you remember her
yeah like the albany regional crazy emily emily uh rolf christine colbrander. Who's this Allison Weiss?
Is this a sister of the Chiku, Brittany?
Brittany is her sister.
Yep, Weiss.
Is she the real deal?
Does she go team or is she an individual athlete?
I saw her on a preliminary list for a team.
So, I mean, she's eighth here in the West, so that'd be up to her.
She can't.
In that case, they can't do both.
They can't do both in the EMT.
And how many people is the Games taking from this region?
Do we know yet?
Did you do those numbers?
I did.
And?
Ten.
Ten for women, and how many for men?
Ten.
Wow, okay.
Okay.
Bailey Rayl, Alexis Johnson.
Yeah, dude. What the hell is she doing over here oh all the workouts in mayhem what's she doing in the west who bailey rail yeah uh catrin david's
daughter she did great 20th what are you talking about she's on the bubble she did great she's
gonna win the games this year that hey i'm telling you it would catapult her into a
fucking complete league of her own not make it to the games and then come back and win it and
then do that twice not make it to the games and come back and win it i know you guys think i'm
crazy but i think that puts her in talk with fucking matt and tia and rich to not make it
to the games and then come back or she's a great role model for california hormones one of the two you're gonna be both yeah role model and the california hormones i mean if she
won it that would be fucking amazing so hillary on on bailey i'm rooting for her too hillary i
hate to say it what do you got helping on bailey rails her family and and she's even posted about
this she has like a crazy looking awesome gym at her family's house.
It's somewhere.
You were going to say body crazy, awesome looking body. Sorry.
You're going to get a brownie.
So as far as I can tell,
and I know Brian spin has looked into this as well.
And he even asked a question in the, um, in the recent press conference,
uh, around Bailey rail rail he didn't name
names but obviously that's that's that's one of the athletes that he would have been thinking of
as far as crossfit responded in that press conference they are looking into this i don't
believe they're gonna do it like they did last year to that uh nordic team where the guy lived
99 miles away and they said he didn't live close enough or something
like that it was 99 miles like outside of yeah like by how the crow flew he was within the
distance but if you took the roads he was too far away yeah right so so with that though
i mean it doesn't exactly make sense logan ewing who you brought up a couple times did the exact
same thing.
His family lives in Colorado, is what Brian told me.
Same sort of thing.
Now, the other way you can look at this is it is a gamble, even if you have the option.
Danny Spiegel did a fairly similar thing.
She went to Invictus, though. In all of those cases, you're then going the a region that is getting less game spots so
i believe this region only gets 10 east is likely going to get 11 or 12 so um you're making sort of
a gamble here to say i'm going to go to what i think is a better option for me but that place
has less game spots i know we did it last night. We went down the list and said, well,
who of these athletes is more of a shoe in for the games?
Bailey's right on that line here at 11th.
She,
she may have gambled here to go to the West.
And then there's,
there's more athletes here than are available.
What's the determination of what region you pick?
Like you just have to,
is it really easy to show some mailing like where you're,
where your driver's license, they really slim that out this year uh because of the team's
issues last year like the teams it's literally just if you do the open in the same place you
are part of you are okay on that team you can go back to wherever you regularly live uh you just
have to do the workouts together what about individual what's the criteria i'm sure patrick will tell us in the comments and that's the thing individual there's just no real
language they just so your legal maybe legal address yeah but i mean as far as i'm aware
i mean it shows here even on the leaderboard she did every open workout at mayhem she did every
quarterfinal workout at mayhem until she was somehow listed here in the
West. Everybody knew her as a CrossFit Mayhem athlete that lives in Cookville, Tennessee.
And yes, her family lives somewhere West of the Mississippi, but that doesn't exactly align with
CrossFit's idea. So that then rings true of what they said last year about the individual on
the Nordic team is that it didn't align with their thoughts around how it
should work. Even if it is by the crow flies, he lives close enough.
They didn't see that as, as well.
You're not really from that region.
Then if you did everything up until the exact deadline to say that you don't live there
that that also then goes into the ellie turners it goes into the cat uh katrin david's daughters
and the others that had to sort of show their entire life to the public to say here's why i
should be able to uh apply to live here for the for for the, for the season, a North American athlete could literally just say, Hey,
I have a cousin that lives somewhere West of the Mississippi.
I don't, I don't know. I don't think it's that easy.
You have to have a legal address, right?
I'm guessing whatever that means that it has to have a driver.
They probably, well, someone will tell us in a second.
Let's not speculate. We'll know.
I'm going to send some mail to your house,
and I'm going to live in the West.
Caleb, someone wants to pay us $ dollars to see if jenny taylor made it um uh where did page powers finish we'll know in one
second uh harry cox you are high seven i'm high on myself um anthony tpa two dollars where did
ivana hump a lot place uh will uh i think sheot place in my bedroom.
She placed right in my bedroom.
Extra sloppy? Did
Dick Nose make the cut? He's talking
about you, Grimler. Definitely not talking about
me.
Okay.
Back to the list.
Don't ask anything absurd.
Did Dick Nose make it? Of course I didn't make it.
But then you gotta
freaking pay when there's money you gotta say it they can ask whatever they want oh yeah dollar
nine yeah sorry uh yeah i'm glad great fantastic question thank you you need to teach me how to
market better hillary uh addison balderston is that a fake name or is that real because that's
like i addison balder. It seems like tricky.
Emily Muir.
Kelly Clark, 28.
All right.
Hey, Kelly.
I want to go to any fundraisers you do to help you raise money.
I'm a huge Kelly Clark fan.
You live in my hood.
Let me know what I can do to help.
You're going to leave the house for something?
I would.
I went to a fundraiser last year and actually really enjoyed it.
Okay.
And,
and her,
and her,
uh,
husband or boyfriend,
dude's cool as shit too.
Lance.
He's great to my kids.
That's all that matters.
Just nice to my kids and good to go.
Uh,
Amy,
uh,
Hosking.
Don't know her.
Toby Wilson.
She's back.
Oh,
let's do a slow,
a slow roll.
A little faster, Caleb. A little faster.
Jessica Smith
that was up there, that's Jessie Smith,
Chandler's wife.
Is she a legitimate contender?
Games contender? Or no? She's going team.
Okay. Carson Wolf.
She's out of Rhino.
Let's go. We're going to be here all day.
How come we went backwards i thought we
were talking to keifer lamy about her he's pretty excited for uh she's what like 19 yeah
it's badass she may have done zealous games i think page two poor no she was hanging out in
the bag i walked in she was i'm gonna go snatch 190 and i go i bet you 100 bucks you can't do it
and then she did it the next day i said christian if you want us if you want us to read these you
got to donate 99 cents uh uh alina ward uh natalie thompson uh hannah hall oh bethany
shad shadburn oh so she legitimate contender what is she doing bill bodybuilding yeah i mean she's
playing the game here but she's but she's not where she was.
Patrick Clark.
We had concerns yesterday that she has had some back injuries.
Right.
That last workout was heavy deadlifts,
so it seems like she did quite well to get ninth in that workout.
Liz R. Shadburn will make a comeback.
That'd be cool. That'd be cool.
That'd be super cool.
Okay, let's look at the 60 through 70.
I think Nadia is someone yesterday who got screwed by the shoulder runs too,
if I recall correctly.
Flores.
And she's in.
Oh, shit.
Tovar's going to make it.
I think it's going to go all the way to 68.
I do.
I don't know that i count that many
teams athletes or athletes that might not accept uh okay it's gonna be close for her it is yeah
you know you just went through shadburn without saying she has a nice she again is an example
if she really wanted to she could do both semi-finals great right fantastic dome i'm gonna obsess on her head it'll get weird okay uh
was there anyone else anything in the um uh mike uh mike hawk uh bill fucking grunler equals legend
i agree thanks mike okay uh let us go oh yeah tia right that's a that's a name i haven't heard in
a while i didn't see her name.
Tia Wrong.
Tia Wright.
Tia Wrong.
She was shooting to go to the games.
What happened to her?
I bet she got pregnant or something.
That happens to girls.
Sometimes.
Caleb, are you taking a pee?
Oh, thanks, brother.
Okay.
I think she was training out of Portlandland or something that's the first name
that somebody said that was an actual name so it sort of threw us off here oh wait a minute
to your right 138 okay okay that's a bit outside wait a minute how did you even see that name what
made that come up someone in the comments said what about to your right and i just know that
she's been a contender she was kind of i kind of throw her in with like the Allison Scuds. You know what I mean?
Just like someone who's just fucking going for it.
We know who they are.
He maybe even may have been on a demo team
one year or something.
Yeah, man.
My cousin didn't make it.
Ellie Hiller.
Ellie Hiller.
She was on a list.
I sent somebody of.
Jesus Christ.
Do you know how many? I i'm telling you there's been a
thousand of these so i'm not pulling them up but this one's got a little fucking um twist on it
this one has a little twist on it
oh my god uh gorilla milk uh seven uh put a hat on and then you can look like the trans version of Bill you guys are cracking me up
Bill probably has 10x the testosterone that I have
I ain't hating I'm fine I'll take it
Caleb's just moving right along here
oh no no did we do girls
oh we just did girls okay East thank you Caleb
keep the show running for Christ's sake Caleb
thank you out of the East
Jeffrey Adler no surprise
does anyone want to say anything just incredibly nice about him?
I'm starting to get really pumped up for this guy.
Yeah, he's built.
Won two of the workouts for the East.
Bill, he's the real deal?
Podium this year, maybe?
This guy finally has the confidence he's supposed to have
with the skill that he has.
He's always had that he's always had
like unreal skill but i just don't think he ever really truly believed what he could really do
and the guy's finally here i mean it's like okay we get it you can do online qualifiers great
but now you know it doesn't matter what you throw at him he just does really well so i'm
i'm stoked for him this year i really am jeff Jeff Adler is what Dallin pepper is going to look like in five years.
Say that again.
Jeff Adler is what Dallin pepper is going to look like in five years.
You mean just that yoked or that high on the leaderboard?
It's just like,
I got that built old,
mature stacked body.
Uh,
thank you.
Great ghost.
If,
if Dallin gets Jeffrey Adler's body,
he's going to be a monstrosity of a dude.
Dude, he's going to get it.
He's tall.
He's young.
It's going to happen.
That's what I'm saying.
Five, six years, he's going to look like Adler, just taller.
Here's $2 towards my transition surgery.
That'll buy me some lipstick so I can do some of the pre-work.
God, I take a beating.
Oh, shit.
What the fuck is this? Greg, see yet no oh my god glinda and savannah
i wonder i don't i wonder fuck these fuck these cards hey how many drinks my aerial low and legends
wad zombie card
oh andrea hiller god god hiller i'd fucking bend you over right there i don't look very i mean i'm zombie card. Andrea Hiller.
God, Hiller, I'd fucking bend you over
right there. I'm the best looking
of all you guys. You are.
You're fucking hot.
Dave's looks cute too.
Dave's plausible.
Dave's doable.
Oh my God.
Okay, where are we here?
Is that new? Is that up today?
Thank you, Matt.
I had to stop it up today.
Why, speaking of confidence, is that what Dallin's missing, his confidence?
No, Dallin's just, his is just experience.
I mean, I know he's got, like, teenage experience,
but it's just different when you get onto the big stage with these guys.
And he's, I i mean he's young
but he's got i think he has great confidence as a young athlete but he needs the maturity of these
guys to get in there and get in the mix with them and really do damage i mean he's a stud no doubt
and he's got a lot of years he's just going to get better and better and better and better so
it's going to be really fun to watch him um let's talk about jack uh lawson farlow whoa whoa whoa um did did uh strong as a fucking ox right
yeah whatever do any of these workouts show that he's he's worked on his engine or worked on his
holes i think they all do okay good yeah and then there's just the one he's going to be good at anyway
Josh Woolley
is that by any chance
John's brother
that's their coach
that's his twin brother
if Daniel Brandon
does not corrupt him by the way we do have
Daniel Brandon coming on
for a late night show.
You always say that.
No, this is real.
Yeah, you always say that too.
We will be doing an open live call-in show with her, I think, on Wednesday night.
So get the whiskey ready.
It's going to be late.
6.30 p pacific standard time
put the kids to bed
oh my gosh
get down to the nitty gritty
talk about toe spacers
and I'm going to give out an award
there's going to be a prize
there will be two prizes given out on Wednesday night show with Daniel Brandon
second place is you get to put toe spacers
on her and the grand prize is you get to put toe spacers on her
and the grand prize is you get to take
the toe spacers off of her.
That is a contest that we're running in conjunction
with toe spacers and Daniel Brandon is
on Wednesday. Did you pick the awards on
that or what? Yeah, I made them up today while
I was walking on the beach.
As your toes are
rubbing through the sand.
Her and toe spacers have no fucking idea,
but I was like, wow, second place as you get to put them on.
Yeah, yeah.
You like that, kid?
For second place, you get to put the Toe Spacers on her.
And first place, you get to take Toe Spacers off.
Thank you.
I know.
It's fucking brilliant.
Hey, I was so excited that I came up with that
that I called Susan and told them.
Like, dude, we're going to do a contest.
Toe Spacer contest. Yeah, see, Hill, you can gift that shit. that that i called susan told him like dude we're gonna do a contest toaster contest hard path yeah
see hill you can gift that shit that's it's a transfer it says in the small print that it's
transferable uh prize if you win the toaster prize you can give it to someone else yeah if you if you
someone else can put them on or off of her you can it's transferable uh let me see this uh why why roman in seventh he's the he's the hope he's the he's the greatest he's no one can beat him and here he's in seventh
getting just tossed up by jack farlow the emma lawson's wife his worst event has continued to
be ring muscle-ups so he's like 400 pounds i mean worst is relative it's 70th so uh okay hey were you surprised when
tetlo said he redid two of the workouts it's a great question uh no and no i don't think i was
surprised especially with the one being event two no but his reason was the perfect reason for that.
I think if he,
if he,
if he wasn't concerned about wanting to be in the top heat for the,
the semis,
then I don't think it would have done it.
I think it would have been like,
let me just get in and then I'll go from there because he said,
I wasn't even listening.
Is that what he said?
Way to go there host.
Not even listening to what's going on.
Yeah.
It's like I needed to do better because I wanted to be in the top heat at the semis.
I was just probably staring at his traps the whole fucking time.
Dude's big.
Yeah.
Was the things hidden behind his neck?
Yes.
Let me read this here really quick.
I'm not sure what I'm reading here, but individual semifinal athletes who do not qualify for the games at a
semifinal competition and are listed on a team six person competition
roster are eligible to compete for their teams at the games.
Should that team qualify for the games?
That's a lot, but I think it's accurate.
It's accurate.
But what about, what about the,
what if you are a semifinal athlete who does qualify for the games?
Do you still get to be eligible for the teams?
Man, I think honestly, like Wadapalooza.
I don't know why I read that.
I just fucked this show up.
Go ahead.
Me personally.
I think you should have to pick whatever one you're in at the beginning of the open.
Look who's in there.
I think that you're in at the beginning of the open look who's in there i
think that you're right bill i think you need i think you need to say i'm going team this season
or i'm going masters this season or i'm going open this season or i'm going teens this season
not like well i'm gonna go with the open but if i don't get that then i'll do this other thing and
if i don't get that then i'll go ahead and do this other thing now call it in go you talk about going all in go all in and go that's what i think
can you believe that all in me jason hopper hey here's the thing with that i know i know you're
trying to kind of be cute but let me tell you the truth about this well no first of all i love james
sprague so jay well then you're gonna really love this uh stephen flores five dollars which test was
the one that predicted the outcome for the quarter of the quarterfinals?
That's a good question.
We'll come back to that.
Hold on.
Jason Hopper's not fucking around.
HWPO is fucking win everything.
And the fact that fucking James Sprague beat him is a fucking huge red flag that something's not right with Jason Hopper.
Enormous red flag.
I'm telling you
but they're not peaking for the quarter nah nah right i know i know nah nah they were single
unders they didn't do well hey listen if james was second and hopper was fourth or third i wouldn't
be saying this but the fact that james who's 10th james is like a giraffe that was born two years
ago we're still watching him get his legs
underneath him jason's like matured whipping that neck around he's like he's like close to his he's
close to his glass ceiling i think uh i think this is a um and i think jace i think the hwpo
people want to win everything i don't think they fuck around thoughts i agree with that
i think it depends on whether or not they win and then they can make their
statements after, you know, we're not preparing. You know what, you know,
it's good to win this competition.
Every, every athlete will say that they're not prepping right now,
but that doesn't mean that they don't want to win. There's a,
I think you'll see a lot of athletes in it. If,
if with Matt working with the different athletes and stuff like that,
like the attitude is this,
no,
we're,
we're here to win.
You're not,
you're not,
you're not trying to peak at quarterfinals.
No,
but you're in there to try to kick everyone's ass.
I think that Hopper has that same knee injury that Fraser has.
Bold,
bold statement.
Yeah.
He has some inside knowledge there.
Wow.
I just heard a rumor. i just want some rumors look at who his judge was at at a crossfit gym that's in vermont his judge was jr how i don't know how that occurred interesting wow he's also in the chat. Wow. He's not on the show.
Wow.
All sorts of. I'm sure it's just a.
JR's just avoiding the hard questions.
Hey, guys, I got to point something out that Sprig finished second, 15th, 6th, and 13th.
And if it weren't for that first workout, he would have murdered Hopper, not simply beat him.
Yeah. Yeah, that's huge. huge wow it's just the squatting murdered murdered and and uh they're the two of the best rowing rowing men in the space
and we're gonna we're gonna see james sprague turn into a full-blown man i mean like you saw
like the last couple years his whole fucking physique fucking physique is changing. We're going to, he's going to, he's going to become a hoss.
He's got more facial hair than I do at the age of 31.
So he's going to be, he's going to be a force to reckon with.
Let me see this way, Katie Gannon.
The team roster is set from quarterfinals on.
From team quarterfinals on.
I believe you because I haven't looked into it that close,
but I thought it wasn't
true that way whose care whose care is that is a foreigner might say whose care uh steve so what
what is this he's saying which which test of the quarterfinals is um best at predicting um
who is going to win it which test was indicative of the great of overall the best fitness good question good
question i don't know yeah i would i would take it well um honestly i think from if you're looking
at the top guys um my just kind of off the cuff would be honestly the rowing set, the rowing in the GHC.
Not that I like that workout, but I think because it's a capacity workout.
And if you're looking at the top end guys, the strength will be generally the same.
The skill set will be generally the same.
But you'll be looking at a capacity element.
And I think that would probably be it.
If you look at the Rowan one, the 20-minute cap. How did Rowan do in that?
Fourth.
If you look at just in this division in the North America East,
Jeff Adler was 33rd, Dallin Pepper was second,
Corneal was first.
Noah Olsen was seventh.
Panchik was 16th.
Spencer.
Farlow was 58th.
Roman was fourth.
Tyler Criswell was 37th.
Saxon was 10th.
Sprague was sixth.
Hopper was ninth.
Can you pull this up, Caleb?
Bill, how old are you? Who, me? who me yeah 53 i'll be 54 in may oh i was gonna say
i didn't think you were 55 no no not yet that's that's next year when i get to do 35 pound
dumbbells whatever the heck that is na east man oh shit i tried to add your shit oh there we go
okay let's let's scroll let's scroll through this a little bit uh so these are the men these are the men
of the east uh how many
are going from here uh helping
12 12 okay
and
for the games you mean
basically it could be those first 12
the rest of these guys could be fucked
basically we're gonna see will morad
griffin raleigh marququand Jones all fight for that spot.
I don't I don't.
Yeah, those guys.
I mean, they're right.
I mean, obviously, they're good, but they obviously are going to have the holes.
You guys ever seen horrible bosses?
Yeah.
You know, the dude, motherfucker Jones.
Every time I see Marquand Jones, I'm just like, Motherfucker Jones? Yeah.
Every time I see Marquand Jones, I'm just like,
here he is again.
He's back on top of the leaderboard. What about Nate Ackerman?
Can he make it or Luke Parker?
It's got to break the right way.
Where did Luke finish?
How about Alex Smith?
Has Alex Smith ever been to the games?
Alex Smith has won a team.
Yeah. Oh, okay, okay.
Yeah.
Pete Mason from the Zealous Games.
Dude, Seth Stovall.
He's in.
He was on the Invalid Mayhem team last year,
and now he's an individual.
He's going to murder it.
Where is he?
20-something?
Yeah, 21.
He's fit. I'm really curious how they're going to run these events have they released anything about that no because i mean that was even the thing when scott
said it with the heats i don't know that they've specifically said that yet so we don't know if
they might do will be ranked bill do you know it makes the most sense but any chance they would do
like what wadapalooza did,
like run all the teams and then run all the individuals
or run all the individuals and then run all the teams?
I mean, it's possible, but like the reason Wadapalooza did that
was because they wanted individual athletes to do the team stuff as well.
So that's why they set it up that way.
I mean, honestly, I wish they would do kind of the old regional way,
which is you start the teams in the morning half or the,
the,
the first half of the day and then do the individuals in the,
in the second half of the day.
I don't know why that's so difficult.
I don't like that.
It was such a great setup back in the day.
Like why not?
Why try to create something new?
It's not about going back to it.
It's just what works so well.
Uh, I'll get to this comment in a second.
Okay, let's keep cruising, Caleb.
Let's roll through these.
Just a bit further on that.
Please.
60 athletes.
If the heats were 10 athletes, that's six heats for every division.
Okay.
They'd have to run those and then it so wadapalooza they
they they could do it that way but uh also the the three biggest divisions that crossfit is running
uh those that are four days long and then the rest of them are three days long
so they do potentially have some scheduling options so So the two in North America are four days, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Wow, crazy.
Okay, 51 through 60, Alex Vigneault, number 50.
Brandon, four.
Yeah, Alex Vigneault was at a bad day one, so it's good to see him back.
Dane Smith.
The forgotten brother.
There he is.
And so we could see five or six from here.
These guys, Jeffrey.
Matthias Porter is actually the backup on the Krypton team.
So I don't believe Ben has any issues, but if he did, it would be that guy.
Let's do it.
Let's keep rolling, Caleb.
Matthias is such a strong name. That's the of the rocks character in the scorpion king okay uh there we go it looks like spencer and
who is the other guy that doesn't matter okay that's the cameraman man. Hey, here's the thing.
That's going to be a fucking lot of shit to watch, man, for us.
Are they broadcasting both those semifinals?
Yeah.
Absolutely.
No choice.
God, that's going to be a lot.
That's going to be a lot of heat to watch.
120 men and women for the individuals.
It's 120 men and women for the teams. It's 120 men and women for the teams total.
Cause it's 40 teams.
Well,
I'm sorry,
160 men and women total for the teams,
man.
And I,
and I don't even know,
you know,
how many events or whatever the setup is going to be,
but it's our,
if you have,
if you have a four day event versus a three day event,
you don't have the same stimulus oh oh
and they're supposed to be the same across the board like if if we're saying with that they're
the same across the board well they could fix that they could fix that right i mean they could
just do something that's not wow they could potentially they could potentially run the teams on three days and the individuals
on three days and have an overlap right is well if i mean if they run it that way whatever that's
fine but if you're gonna have if you're gonna have a three-day competition on one end in this region
over here in a in a four-day competition over here and i'm not talking full length i'm talking
like if that's what it is.
If they can blur it, cool,
so that the individuals are three across the board,
the teams are three across the board, cool.
But man, I hope that's the case.
I think that that was a good point, Halpin.
I think Halpin's got to be right.
Justin Zimbo, I think this is the owner
of Salty Hive CrossFit in utah you guys want a good
laugh at headquarters go look at the amount of team they're taking to the quarterfinals
from each region and compare that to the number of teams they're taking to semis
this is all helping all over it i don't understand exactly what he's saying can can you decipher that
i put a post on this um there's only so many teams in africa and there's actually less teams
in africa than like so there's a minimum there's a there's a rule out there that says that every
semi-final will have a minimum well in africa there's only 54 teams that even registered so in that case
the minimum is 40 so they're going to take like 80 percent of just the teams that registered and
put them in the semifinal hey how do i might be 30 it might be 30 instead of 40 so but still like
60 percent or so so basically you're saying is it it's going to be like that even in North America.
It's that one with Tim Paulson right there.
Yeah.
So,
so I have to,
yeah,
go ahead.
So there's in North America East,
there's 91 teams in the quarterfinals and half of them basically a little less
than half,
uh,
go to the semifinals.
Holy shit.
Look at North America West.
You don't even have to really do the quarterfinals.
Yeah. But in the, in the case in the in the case of in the case of africa asia oceania and south south america those they're they're gonna why is
that without even really doing the quarterfinal because they they set a minimum but is the team
competition just not that popular why aren't there like 700 teams in the quarterfinals from north
america west
this then brings up like the icelandic super team or like some of the other teams that are
gathering places if you can find an affiliate in south africa or somewhere and just move four of
your best team athletes there you are making the games from africa they only i mean oh and you only
have to do the workouts there like
you go there just for the uh hey i'm down with that i'm fine with that you could be a games
athlete dude i could but on the other side of this only one team goes first for africa so
you're you're you're putting a gamble out there that you're going to make it all the way through. 12 daily doses of stuff.
This is where my OnlyFans page in my podcast kind of gets a little blurred.
It's one of my best customers.
I've sold more underwear to 12 daily doses of stuff than anyone else.
Miss you, Boo.
Thank you.
I miss you, too.
I'll FaceTime you tonight.
Hey.
I think
I'm trying to bail you real
And compete out of Africa
Do it
I'm down
Make the rules work for you
Just make the rules easy
As the fans
We'll judge who we're going to judge
We'll either judge you
There'll be some people who hate you for it
And there'll be people like me who think you're cool for it
like yeah just do what you do uh victor rodriguez i don't know why i don't know do you do this on
your show bill where you read stuff you pull stuff up even before you read it like i don't know what
this is gonna say but for some reason it caught my eye no you do it all the time it's actually
that's part of the funny things about watching your show here's a here's a long one here i don't
know what it's saying but i'll read it right one here. I don't know what it's saying, but I'll read it right now.
Anybody, I don't know what they're saying.
Help me out.
I don't know what they're talking about right here, but I just put it up.
This is, this is to find that.
What have I think this is.
Hold on.
Let me read it.
Help.
And hold on.
Hold on.
There's blind people in our audience.
We'll get in trouble with the DEI.
If we just let you answer with that.
Not blind.
I would just run an average of the finish in each event of the top 60
and see what event was the lowest and highest average.
Then compare the differences between male and female and region.
What's this guy saying?
This guy wants to find out which workout was the best?
I think that's the closest thing I can think of of how you would do that which is what other victor you're on timeout motherfucker i think he just wants to
find out how to get some of the underwear you're getting rid of that's what it was
it's fine what was going on there just trying to find a space or registration link okay um fun oh
here we go this is uh compare uh someone there's a horvat uh so so what's the deal here laura horvat
beat let's go over to europe and look at the women so laura horvat uh beat mal o'brien in four to
five workouts every affiliate signed up for the open should automatically be given a team without
paying ten dollars and registering a team in the open um that's that's yeah i'm i'm okay with that it's basically a free team registration yeah
that's totally yes yes that's wild that's fucking brilliant brunner tell me tell justin how brilliant
he is i like that yeah well they i okay again if it depends what you're trying to push it depends
what you're trying to push that that also will help to push getting your affiliate to get into
and get involved with whatever you have going on.
So, yeah, that seems easy.
You just write on the board if you're an affiliate owner,
hey, guys, even if you had no plans on promoting Open,
hey, guys, we got a free registration for a team.
Hey, we got a team.
We got a team, you guys.
Yeah, contact me if you want to be on the team.
Hey, guys, we got a team. Yeah. team you guys you want to be on the team hey guys we got a team yeah yeah it's fucking love it that would be cool good getting the
game back together i hope probably watching this right now they can steal that idea it's free
uh rosie view uh thank you for the video thank you for your contribution to the sign
and uh me and those two girls who called last night could party.
We would rage.
Your video is awesome.
Is Hiller drinking water?
God, I hope not.
That would ruin everything I think about him.
What's wrong with water?
You don't like water?
No, it's got this salt stuff in it.
It's watermelon flavored.
It's great.
Horvat beat Mallon four out of five workouts on the quarterfinals uh that's correct
yeah except for the handstands yeah but have you ever seen that ellen iverson clip
we're talking practice no no game but but but if you rank them in the worldwide ranking miles at
the top correct yeah yeah so event by event worldwide la Laura beat Mal on the last four out of the five, except for the handstand workout.
That being said, what you see on the screen there, Gabby Magala still beat Laura Horvath.
So if you're comparing just Mal and Laura, it is a story, but you kind of have to give Gabby her dues here.
She beat her by one point, which means one place on one workout.
Bill, does that mean, like when you see that four out of five,
does that mean Laura has a good chance of beating Mal at the games?
That it's going to be tight?
Because there will only be 20, 30 competitors there.
And I think if you look at the scoring places that are in there,
you're right. You're not going to have these big jumps in between
so that definitely will help out.
What I think is interesting is
if they are doing some
of these handstand things now,
would they still
do them in the games?
Or, we haven't seen any...
Where her Achilles heel has always
been, Laura's, has been parallel handstand pushups.
Strict parallel handstand pushups.
And so I don't know if we'll keep going that way.
But the more we do handstands now, the less chance there's going to be that that will be in the games.
And that just really starts rising Laura's's chances to get above mal because i mean
yeah she's a beast actually i mean mal's amazing too obviously um tell me that logic again about
the handstand push-ups being less likely to be in the games because of what we've seen the more we
see them in these early qualifying rounds i think the less we're going to see them in the games
it'll be okay or Or a harder. Yes.
Yeah.
Well,
yeah,
but it's like,
you're okay.
True.
That,
that could be,
but it's like,
are we going to see handstands in every single stage all the way through up
to the games?
If we've already seen the wall facing now,
I mean,
maybe we see a,
a parallel handstand pushup or something like that in the semis.
And if that's the case,
I don't know if we're going to see that now in the games.
Does she qualify for the games if that happens at the semis?
I think she still would.
I mean, she got really changed.
That would be crazy.
That would be,
that would be,
that would be a,
that would be a,
let's see.
We've had,
we've had a catchment in that situation.
We've had a Sam Briggs in that situation.
Yeah,
it's possible.
They would get tore up if they did that.
I don't know.
I don't know if they think about that kind of stuff.
Honestly,
I don't think about anything.
Uh,
Katie Gannon,
this is some self-serving shit,
Katie.
I expected better from you.
This is the only podcast where the chat,
where I hang out,
that's in parentheses is as good if not better than the show okay is that a burn is it you know likey
you know likey likey burn me no likey likey okay let's iterative like it has to get harder through
from the quarterfinals to the games
uh i think we had a conversation with john young this morning they already did uh wall facing
handstand push-ups last year so right so what what would they then do harder than what they're
currently doing in quarterfinals and how many many did she do there? Laura just stood there
and did like, she did one or four
or something, just nothing.
The one that was to the ballistic
block? Is that what you're talking about, Mike?
I think she just stood there.
I don't
think, I don't know if you could get
much more, for her,
more difficult than that.
And I don't, I just don't i just don't i don't see them
let me ask you this this is totally off topic going in yes off topic hit it if she wins the
games do we kind of like do we start ripping on the programming like how the fuck can someone
win the grain games who isn't proficient in parallel handstand push-ups i would love to do
that just like i mean do you get what i'm saying here like
brian is saying if there's no parallel handstand push-ups in the games laura wins it all day
but then do the rest of us be like dude like how did she win the games if she couldn't do a muscle
up does it go back to the froning rope climb thing i think it's a i think it's a it's a great
argument but again she would have had to deal with all of those i mean it's not like she hasn't had
to do handstand push-ups up to this point you know um it's just when you go to the big show where
everyone's trying to peak and everyone's supposed to be at their best when it really matters
can you race that but then it's like okay well so that you're taking her one weakest thing
and setting her up against the rest of the field in that one weak thing whereas you could have
any of the other athletes and it's like,
okay,
well let's race you against your worst thing against Laura Horvath on this.
Like,
what if she can't even do them?
It's the same thing with like a catch and winning the games and not being
able to do the pegboard.
Right.
Put Mal against a Horvath on the assault bike or on the echo bike.
And that'll be,
I mean,
it's like,
okay,
well,
Laura's going to win.
So you're not going to gonna that's not to say
that mal is bad but she's just not good at now granted i think i think what laura is she is so
good at all of the other movements that it's shocking that she's so bad at this one if it
comes up with the semi-final she's boned because there's 60 athletes right going for 10 spots
and if she finishes dead last on a workout
like that they're actually all trying it's just like the shuttle runs he can't finish
and with 150 oh that's on the walk and that would be what would happen she would just use
how can you hear that what hillar's saying the mathematical fucking workouts oh shit how many
how many workouts seven workouts. Seven workouts.
I've heard of the games.
I believe seven.
They haven't.
Let me explain that to the people who are listening real quick
who aren't keeping up with what Hiller just dropped,
and then maybe Halvin will drop something on it.
If you take 30th place, if there's 30 athletes
and you take 30th place and there's seven workouts,
you still might be able to come back and qualify.
But with 60, there'll be so many fucking people
ahead of you and and the points will be so bad that you will mathematically be fucked and we've
never seen a semi-finals right we've never seen a semi-finals with 60 athletes correct scoring is
going to get can you please think of that the time she's gotten stuck has been rogue there's 10
athletes or the games where there's 15 events and you can kind of water that down she won't be last she won't be dead last 50th she stares at the
wall for 10 minutes compared compared to the field that's out there at rogue or at the gate you're
right i'm not disagreeing with you on that and i'm gonna do that in dubai too i agree but i'm saying if we have 60 if there
are 60 women that are out there there is laura horvath is not going to be homie it's the equivalent
of someone telling you to go deadlift 700 pounds you'd be like but everyone else can do one
just for reference last year she was 39th this is after emilyolfe had to leave. So she was 39th.
We're talking the games, though, right?
Games last year.
She only – I'm trying to figure out what cap plus 84 is on this Echo Press,
but that likely means that she only did 10 handstand push-ups.
Okay.
And she took what play?
39th?
39th out of 39.
And she still took second place at the CrossFit Games?
Yeah, but 15 events with only 40 people.
So there's 20 more people at the semifinal, and there's only seven events.
But those 20 that are in there aren't necessarily games athletes either.
I'm not saying it's not a great argument.
You're right.
It is an Achilles heel, man.
It's interesting.
And so to swing it back to the beginning of this
you said is the programming all messed up if she wins and this is something we're talking
about that person who had won oh yeah yeah in my i mean after that event she never finished
out the top 10 in any event so she has one thing like one you would have won the games, but they drowned in the ocean.
Yeah, it's like the pegboards.
Where are they?
You can't be the fittest person on earth when the definition of fitness before fitness was a definition.
Oh, is this something Brian Friend made, Caleb?
This is looking at her handstand.
Somebody send this to Ryan and send it to us.
It's all of her handstand push-up workouts by year, by placement.
26 out of 29, 30th out of 30th, 25th out of 30th, 10th out of 19th, 19th out of 36th, 39th out of 39th.
Okay, that's a bad one.
This is nuts.
There's your last.
How do you like it, Bill?
God damn. 256 out of 4, it's pretty good guys no it's not
hey listen katie listen listen you can't do fucking handstand push-ups at the crossfit
games can you be the fittest person alive but seven it's not that she can't do handstand push-ups
she's just not proficient at doing more than one of them.
I mean, you can't do pegboards and win, but Katrin did.
Hunter McIntyre can't do a handful of the CrossFit movements,
so he couldn't show that he was fitter than everybody.
If they just made it the Hunter McIntyre games,
he'd obliterate the field.
Yeah, if it was the High Rocks games, it would.
You're right.
100%.
Manny C. Serrano, she did 21
chest-to-wall strict handstand
push-ups in less than 10 minutes.
She did good on that, but that's different.
Okay.
A little deficit messes your life up.
She's making progress, so
maybe she'll shut us all out?
I hope so.
I don't think we need to go through all these we're at fucking an hour and 41 minutes let's go to the let's go to the men let's go to
africa uh let's go to the men real quick in europe real quick let's go to henry i think he won did he
yeah man that'd be great and then michelle finished fourth all right after it's covered go to the men
uh uh okay uh men in europe uh fabian benito uh any surprise here what's going on here with Chris Cover. Go to the men. Okay. Men in Europe.
Fabian Benito. Any surprise
here? What's going on here with this guy? This guy has a good
showing at Waterpalooza and all of a sudden he's
winning Europe, the European semifinal.
Or was it Dubai he had
the good showing? Where did he have the good showing?
Yeah, it was Dubai.
Yeah.
Brian ties his fuck on this guy, Victor
Hoffer, too. Never heard of him.
From France.
Oh, yeah. We need a translator.
Bjorn Carl Gudmundsson,
Lazar Jukic, Harry Lightfoot.
This guy.
This guy's
a fucking American. That's the part I don't
understand.
Damn, Zoolander.ander i know i knew you
would like that dude i also already called him shaved heavy foot so
uh yana koski uh still still in the game you know he's way younger than i thought
i don't think he's 30 yet no he's 28 on here. An old guy.
Any surprises here, Halpin, that you saw?
Anyone who didn't make it?
Anyone?
Are they having
10 also?
They will have
10 or 11.
With the worldwide ranking and the strength of fitness number,
whatever the fuck that number is,
did anything change this year from last year?
Well, this didn't exist last year,
but Tia did not register for the quarterfinals,
which we thought she might.
Her registering or not registering screwed, you could say, Oceania out of a spot.
No shit.
Oh, Willie George, 70th.
Wow.
Okay.
So he's not going.
He went to the games last year, right?
Sure did.
Hey, wasn't he at Wadapalooza with Roman Krennikoff?
Sure was.
Wow.
I wonder what's going on.
So wait a second. So you're saying t is number of points what's the point called the strength quotient strength of
field the strength her strength of field number was so big one she well no her her being there
not being there is zero or one so uh her not being there means that there's one less Oceana woman in the top 100, which means that potentially if it shakes out, then there could be one less spot.
There's only three women in the top 100 now for Oceana.
So it would be Tia plus a lot of other stuff to get them to five
and if you recall that africa video that brian spin core put out you have to have at least five
so it's hard to say that tia exactly can't you do the fucking math dude that's why you're here
helping can't like pull out a calculator and just be like i'm saying it didn't help but
but you haven't crunched the numbers yet.
When can you crunch the numbers?
The 27th.
Oh, it takes that.
Oh, I put it out of post about an hour ago, which gives all of the,
which gives all the data as it is prelim preliminarily.
But, um, dude, it doesn't look great for nuts.
Barry,
Sevan refuses to give Hiller the spotlight with Leahy
because he went live at 7 a.m. today.
Damn.
That's fucking right.
He just made my video got more views.
I had to call him.
I had to call him this morning, Bill.
We were here.
I go on a live at 7 and someone in my chat's like,
Hiller's live.
Watch this.
A fucking power call in his ass. I wish you could just see in my brain. It was not intentional. I was just like, that's what I Hiller's live. Watch this. A fucking power call in his ass.
I wish you could just see in my brain.
It was not intentional.
I was just like, that's something on my mind.
It's got to get out.
I don't want to edit this video.
Everyone should stop.
Everyone's bombarding your space.
You were here first.
Get the hell out.
I love it.
We should both be on at seven.
So they have someone.
Just look at Hiller so you can diddle yourself but
listen to me yeah there you go keep both both windows open uh bill lahey what's going on why
is everyone so excited about bill lahey this is um i know brian's really excited about this guy
william lahey the fourth what's going on with this dude he had his video up for everyone to see
and what you'll see is that he did not abide by the standard on the V sit-ups,
which as I read the rule book through.
What region?
What region,
Heather?
I think it's Northeast.
Okay.
And after the 50th time of reading the rule book through,
it says that you got to keep your feet together,
which is weird because what do you guys think?
That's what,
yeah,
what happens to that?
So you think what you think together,
but is this together like do you guys think? That's what, yeah, what helpens do. That's what you think when you think together.
But is this together, like moving in unison?
Are they going to be dinging people for that?
Have we found out?
Do we know?
Is there any?
I'm going to do the Illuminati symbol here.
Yeah, this could be together.
This could be together.
This could be together. And then the other big thing that's been happening is there have been coaches
across the world who are telling their athletes to touch their toes and then he's not touching his toes he's touching basically the tongue of his shoe
which is technically your foot it says touch your foot but the picture shows the toe touch and I can
go through every single iteration of what was wrong with this and by all means that he followed
the rules with the feet are not together that's wrong the ghd sit up his arms are outside of
the width where
it appears the standard would be and he gets the worst part is he gets off the rower while it goes
riding its way up and everyone knows what that looks like he stopped the rower you kind of wait
for it to coast its way up maybe 20 23 meters left and he jumps off and sits on the rower and
he's staring at his judge and she goes go and it reminded me kind of when you got your dogs and
they're staring at their
bowl of food and you're like no okay go ahead and then they start and i really wish i would
have put something in like that but how does he not how does he not know that or judge not know
that right that's pretty standard you stand it's written black and white that one's written black
and white when i when i first saw it i was talking to somebody and we're a little bit older and i go
dude did they change this rule?
Did we miss something?
So we went and looked, and it's like, nope, we didn't miss anything.
This dude just don't know that you can't be on the rower
until you hit the meters that you're designated to hit.
It was nuts.
Damn.
Now here's the thing.
It hasn't been adjusted yet, but the whole world sees it.
So what are you going to do?
CrossFit your move, just like Spiegel last year.
Well, in that case, we are aware that Sam Quant already got adjusted sam quant was fifth he moved to like a hundred and
something on that workout so if oh we do still have the video okay oh this is bill this is
william this is williams this is william the four is that his girlfriend judging him i don't know
can you zoom in on his you can't see it that's
another thing it says multiple times you gotta be able to see the rower and you can't see it ever
so he's checking it out he goes all right what do i do what do i do i mean it's facing the camp
i didn't understand that rule because i had some athletes ask me like i don't know i don't have a
5k camera pointed out here's the deal if you if you pay attention to my videos throughout the year
and you've seen all 500 of them you'll remember remember Riley Good had a video submission to Dubai, got rejected because you could never see the rower screen. It's there exactly the same way, but no amount of like zooming in or panning or like backtracking to the data within the monitor itself is going to, it doesn't count.
Hey, so what does that give them?
How much time does that give them?
I have either a theory where you're going to need to subtract
something like 120 reps from that score, or it's invalid.
And there's grounds for invalidation,
which is interesting because in the rule book this year,
there's written per workout rules for what invalidates
and the penalties per workout which is different
are you going to give that are you going to give that to crossfit hillary as a good thing
the wait hillary you would take them down from the zealous games i'm just saying
they you you said we're going to do written rules and what what the penalty is the thing that i
think that we may have done incorrectly the zealous games and this is something that i thought in the
process over there as well is that once you go too deep it almost ruins the beauty of the sport like you just have
to tell people what to do and don't over complicate it but when you say touch your feet you should say
touch your toes when you say keep your feet together you should mean your feet should be
touching it's just the way you word it. Speak to third graders.
You're totally right.
You have to expect that if you say touch your feet,
an athlete is going to choose whatever they think is the highest and shortest distance they need to go to get to their feet,
whatever they think their feet are.
And I don't blame them for that.
I don't either.
Yeah, not at all.
If you say keep your feet together, it's just going to mean that your feet are touching.
It's not going to mean that your feet are locked together.
Right.
Feet together.
Like your feet are together if you're doing the freaking thriller dance.
I don't know.
Well, I mean, together means it could mean that they're moving together in synchronization.
If you want them touching, your feet must be touching the entire time.
Your legs must be straight together
must be no bend in the knee at any time you must only touch the tip of your toes with the picture
tip of the toe i mean like it's not hard to do it's semantics but it matters it's not semantics
why it's not semantics why did sam quant get dinged what was it for look at noel olsen in
that picture right there this is the same thing as when everyone was doing Fran and knew how to do
Fran.
And then in the 2008 games,
when seven was doing every second counts,
they did Fran,
but it was chest to bar that extra three inches,
Jack,
the entire field.
They did not know how to do it.
So this is a completely different deal.
That's why touching your toes,
toes to the bar.
I mean,
or, or even chest to bar. I don't care how high toes toes to the bar i mean or or even chest to bar i don't care how
high you get on the bar you got to get your chest to the bar on the pole it's it's the same thing
you have to say exactly what you want it to look like because if you don't then people will do
whatever they think is close to that or their version or their um you know uh idea of whatever
that whatever it is you're saying it can it's got to be black and white.
Bill, here's the thing.
Why did Sam Quant get the penalty?
Is it because his feet were apart like this and they weren't touching?
Do we know? Helping?
I haven't seen his video.
I don't know why.
Because if you're going to give him a penalty and if you're going to give Bill
an invalidation or any sort of a penalty, like I think the video deserves,
you got to give everyone the same thing.
A hundred percent. I completely agree with you deserve it right but no and i
no you're right and this is why you know we talk well and this is going way back to the beginning
when when someone asked like is this hard what i think was hard is when you have movements that
are new and you don't have the bandwidth to make sure that you are going to look at every single person's video to make sure that everyone does exactly what it is that you wanted it to be.
And to be, I mean, with assuming everyone's going to mess it up.
So you're going to have to give penalties to everyone.
Like you have to assume that that's going to be the case.
If you don't have the bandwidth for that, then don't pick that movement.
Knees locked, feet touching, touch the the toes that's a fucking great point don't don't enforce rule don't make rules
that you can't enforce i mean it's it's like being the bad parent don't you touch that if you touch
that i'm gonna slap you don't you do it oh you touched it oh no i'm not gonna slap you so they're
gonna keep on touching it that's the ghc and we talked about the ghc thing earlier today like in our text thread was just that i i remember seeing at
wadapalooza when they didn't care where anyone was sitting on the ghc you know your butt supposed to
be back on top of the halfway point or off the the the chair there and and or the pad i saw
everybody with knees bent no you know everyone doing it the old
school tommy hackenbrook way when that when and i thought we stopped it way back then and then all
of a sudden here we are we're right back again where everyone is racing ghds with bent knees
and trying to make it so it's just their you know everything from above their belly button is is
flexing over the over the pad and back up again.
It's the same thing.
If you let everyone do whatever they want to do, they're going to keep on doing it.
And you now have to look at every single video out there and make adjustments on every single person.
If you don't want to do all that crap, then say exactly what you want and be ready and assume that everyone is going to do it wrong and that you're going to be sitting there with your entire team judging.
What were you going to say, Halban?
Sorry.
That was good.
Yeah.
Just looking at, because Pillar and I mentioned that they added penalties
and they added zero score violations to every single of the tests.
They didn't add a specific penalty for the V-up.
They don't say like, hey, if you do a V up wrong,
we're going to do this.
The only penalties are for the row.
And then there's also noted penalties for not touching your hands to the
right places on the GHD.
Thanks Becca.
That's crazy.
Whoa.
Cool.
That's OG to OG right there.
Everyone take, everyone take a. Everyone take a knee.
Take a knee.
Oh, shit.
I ain't even joking.
Everyone just goes, whoa.
You know what would be interesting, Hiller, when you were talking about what you guys wanted to do in the Zealous games, trying to assess the penalties.
That may be something that when they are designing the workouts, they're designing the competitions,
they already know what the movements are. And ideally, they know them well in advance.
They should be able to say, if you mess up on this movement, here are what the penalties are.
If you mess up on this movement, here are what the penalties are. Because they're going to have
to know what it is before they get buried. Because then all of a sudden, it's going to be like,
hey, so-and-so, Dave, they're not doing these things.
And I saw this person did that.
Do we let that one go?
Do we not let that one go?
And nobody knows.
So it ends up being like not really judging, not really judging, super judging hard.
Oh, shit.
Now everyone's doing it.
And then now they need to kind of pull the reins back a little bit.
What do you think about that?
Do you think they should have a per movement penalty?
I think that it takes quite a per movement penalty i think that
it takes quite a bit of testing to get that nailed in and to be honest when i came up with all of the
things with the team at zellos games there was no testing but it worked out rather well but that was
by the grace of god and it wasn't but that's just me being honest about it and it worked out well
that's great it also made it incredibly easy for the team of people who were judging on the online review team to follow out
just what it said to do which is things that they don't seem to have in place but it does appear
that they have attempted right here with stuff like what we just talked about but wait a minute
am i on the wrong workout you're on the wrong fucking show son of a sorry. Am I on the wrong workout? You're on the wrong fucking show. Son of a.
Sorry, I'm getting off the show.
One thing I'll add, and it goes to this.
Get him, Alpen.
And Caleb, start pulling up Australia before we lose.
I'm afraid Bill's going to say he has to go.
I'm all right.
I'm staying here all day.
Boz brought it up on this press conference that they did the other day.
They widened the sphere of feedback that they got.
And he only addressed it around floor plans because they added some different floor plan options.
And he said, well, it always gets tough around these things because the wider we sort of have this circle of trust,
the more people we all of a sudden have to worry about leaking in.
You did say that, right. leaking athletes or things like that. The thing is, I don't know what they did back in the day,
but in any business that I've been a part of, somebody signs an NDA. I signed one for
Wadapalooza before they would tell me the workouts. Like you just sign an NDA and then
you get the feedback, but don't use that as a crutch to say like,
oh,
well,
we didn't realize when we put 300,000 people do this open test,
how they would break.
Or we didn't realize when we had 10,000 athletes do this quarterfinal test
that they would all just start doing V ups the wrong way.
That's the way we didn't try it.
We had 10 athletes do it and they all did it the same way
boss would do it like that doesn't really work all you have to do is the answer was that we all
know what it looks like sign the dotted line here and we'll we'll run all this by you just and also
just run it by somebody that is like a copy editor like if you just ran all these through a a
proficient copy editor and just said like hey
on this workout with deadlifts why does this sign say snatches on this workout with running nice why
does this heat why does it say heels to the to the wall when your toes are to the wall like all of
these things then just create these scenarios where then it's unmanageable you can't then put
this stuff out change it in the background and not
tell anybody like the heels versus the toes one that hillar pointed out and then just say like
oh well we fixed it well the athletes already done the workout twice like and they didn't see
that you changed it so there's nothing you can really do when you keep this circle of trust to only like three people that
all then can add that and they aren't actually editing anything to say like hey why does this
say this or is an athlete gonna break the rules like they always seemingly do i like this idea
yeah just what is that i don't even know what that is what's sitting reach it's that box it's
a metal box and they're back in fifth grade you kind of overlap your hands like this and you just
lock your knees out in a reach see how far you can see oh geez government like that was a joke
right that was a joke post like he's joking like it's so ridiculous you can't mess this thing up
that was a joke post like he's joking like it's so ridiculous you can't mess this thing up
i suck at this i actually love this in reach as a test fifth grade okay uh only three uh three will only three will go three boys will go ricky
garage jay crouch james newberry are currently in the lead uh it looks like that would be only three, uh, three will only three will go. Three boys will go. Ricky garage, Jay Crouch,
James Newberry are currently in the lead.
Uh,
it looks like,
um,
that would be incredible.
If when's the last time the Newberry has been to the games?
2020.
Oh,
he did.
Okay.
As an individual or was it?
Yeah,
I think it was 2020.
Okay.
When they,
when they had 10 people competing at the top,
cause he won the toes to ring echo bike or salt bike sprint thing.
Okay, let's check out.
Let's check it.
And everything looks good.
Everything looks tip top shape for Ricky.
Yeah.
Yeah, it looks great.
Ricky can do no wrong.
Which is weird to say.
The ladies.
Oh,
who is this?
Who?
Bronchitis?
Yeah.
This bronchitis that's in between Ellie and Jamie.
Oh no.
Where's Madeline Sturt?
What the fuck is going on here?
Where's Tia?
She's busy.
She's preoccupied. Who is this this who is this uh brianna uh brianna chalice brioni chalice anyone anyone i've heard the name before damn
is it me or did we never uh have these issues with dave easy easy there buddy
okay uh keep going down let's see where maddie stirred is
nine and and and where is uh when's the last time um
when's the last time jamie simmons has been to the games i want to say 2018 19 oh shit she must
be stoked okay and and they got they got three And they got three girls going.
Newberry is a cardio freak, like a 10-hour Ironman post broken neck.
Gotcha.
2020.
That dude broke his neck?
Yeah.
How?
He was in a car accident, wasn't he?
Who broke his neck?
Newberry.
Damn. Damn.
Okay.
He's a freak athlete.
Freak athlete.
And then let's go over.
Laura Clifton will go to the games.
I looked at this Bryony.
She was on EXF last year and went to the games.
The team?
Mm-hmm.
That was a team out of Australia?
Yep.
Wad Zombie, Bring Back Rosa.
Can you give money back to Wad Zombie
for that?
Take your $5 back, bro.
That'd be awesome.
Oh, mountain biking accident.
Oh, that's what it was.
Same with Matt Chan busted something, right? mountain biking accident. Oh, that's what it was. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right.
Same with Matt Chan busted something,
right?
He shredded his leg.
His quad exploded.
Yeah.
And then he won
the Titan Games
with Spiegel.
Oh, right.
Right.
Can't put him down.
No, Danny Spiegel
won the Titan Games.
Good honor.
Africa.
No, Europe.
No.
It's not for the reason you think. That's Southica oh oh yeah shit south america i forgot uh victoria campos
sasha nevis so wasn't sasha nevis living in cookville uh she's moved to proven
but she was on she was on a mayhem team last year with yeah i wonder where she lives it's people
like her and ellie turner that i'm like why why are they like why wouldn't she be allowed to uh
to do a semi-final here in the states i guess she's around a little bit i think even last
in the open she was back home i think she's she went to east nashville for
quarterfinals because i saw her video with her and Tia.
Matt Chan tore an artery and is going.
Can I see the names a little bit?
Okay.
And they have how many? They only have two?
Two. Likely those two.
And what about
Julia Cato? She went to the games before.
She's cool. Got cool hair.
Thoughts? Anyone? Does anyone disagree that it'll be victoria campos and uh sasha nevis i think that does it pretty they're
gonna take it okay i'm just pissed she's good yeah she's got somebody checking out all our videos
matt burns sasha nevis is back in argentina um i see a. I see a cult hat while I'm wearing a cult shirt.
Destiny.
Get it, Chase.
Okay, let's check out the boys in South America.
I forgot there was a South America.
It's right under North America.
Thank you.
Like that way?
Just down. Always down. Okay, down always down okay down good question who's
getting banned for peds uh hold on before we run there's a rumor you just started whoa uh
gui malheros and second place we have hidden to keep the suspense Benjamin Gutierrez but Augustine
Raquel May has a better chance than Benjamin, right?
And the next guy, do you want to go after
his name? Yes, I am
very familiar with his name, Kaiki.
Kaiki.
They're right.
Sounds like a Donkey Kong character.
It does seem like a Donkey Kong character.
Oh, who goes from here?
Who goes? Those are big names.
Kaiki, Cervini, Agustin,
Raquelme, Benjamin Gutierrez. Is it Agustin?
I'm trying to remember because I think
there's a...
Same.
Yeah.
Yeah, Raquelme.
And Guy.
Hannah B. James Newberry only trains CrossFit like
three days a week right now
he has that big vegan energy
that's not a real thing
oh trust me I know
it's not
unless you've seen the Game Changers and then
you're an idiot
I did watch that one oh this would be sick
liver king versus froning and the masters good call for what whatever who cares anything
it would be rich running circles around him
hello by the bell hello hello it wasn't me. Okay. Let's check out the great continent of Africa.
Let's check in on Taylor Self's athlete.
Why isn't she winning?
We covered Africa.
I had it earlier.
Sarah Cox.
Very nice to see you.
What's up, Sarah Cox?
In the house.
Thank you very much.
Very generous donation.
Sarah, did you see my new sign? Thank you. I know you contributed to it, too. see you. What's up, Sarah Cox? In the house. Thank you very much. Very generous donation. Sarah, did you see my new sign?
Thank you.
I know you contributed to it, too.
Thank you.
All you guys are killing me.
I don't recognize any of these names except for Michelle Bassanet.
Is she going?
Yeah, I think so.
Obviously.
Careful, dude.
Taylor's going to come and burn your house down.
Only one of them can go right
i mean she got tore up three girls three girls smoked her she didn't get tore up she's there's
there's three points separated 30 30 of these athletes are gonna go to their semi-finals so
sorry i mean to the games oh no shit they get third wow uh christina at the top there who won
she was second place at cape town last year to uh michelle morand who's switched a team so uh i would i would put it down to michelle
basnet how did how did michelle do last year michelle was second uh no she couldn't have
been second she had to be third i think yeah but this year she's gonna win is the chick who's in second competing thank you
thank you you're welcome i mean they're all i don't know how you mean
is the chick who took second place in the semi-finals last year in africa she is she on
this list yeah it's christina michelle mor won. And where's Christina? She's at number
one right now. I just can't see her name.
Oh.
I switched tabs. Yeah, she's right there.
Well, shit. Okay, that could be fun if she gives
her, if her and Michelle can
duke it out. 26, 26.
Look how
close those points are.
2-3-4.
Two points, two points, two points.
Yeah, that's going to be good.
It's the most exciting thing I've heard about Africa in a long time.
Jaden Harmon, a little late to the game, but I haven't seen this one.
Do Savon and Bill share mothers?
No.
I have an Italian mom, not an armenian mom you're italian yeah i knew it
italian by blood uh german by name and any other read any other region was there was there another region like isn't there one like asia or something we didn't hit the males on the you didn't hit asia and you didn't yeah oh okay males on africa and then the asia is on the both asia is a top english good right now people i don't know
okay keelan henry that's great and uh jason smith all the way down in seventh the eternal jason
smith 39 so good um oldest dude who's ever competed in the games, right?
As an individual in modern times?
No.
There was another one from Africa.
He was 42.
Oh, shit.
What was his name?
Actually, I was pissed.
That was the year I should have gone to the games, and he got it.
Because there was no one from South Africa at the time.
Oh, but that's not in modern times, Bill.
It was like 2012?
Yeah.
We haven't gotten to talk about this.
Was that the Ryan Fisher video?
Actually, yeah.
That was that year.
Yeah, it was that year.
110 degrees.
110 degrees.
World champion.
Wadzombie, $1.99. They only share your champion. Wad zombie dollar 99.
They only share your mother.
Whoa.
Oh damn.
How did I not come up with that?
Whoa.
Damn.
Mr.
Birchfield.
Good evening.
Good to have you.
Okay.
Keelan Henry.
That's awesome.
Great to see him there.
We did a podcast with him four or five months ago,
six months ago.
Uh,
check it out.
Great guy.
Uh,
he got,
he got heated a little bit heated in the interview and I liked it.
It was good.
What's wrong with my mic?
Do I not sound good?
No,
you sound great.
I don't,
I don't recognize,
uh,
is that guy right there?
Morteza?
Is that the big,
huge guy?
No,
that guy's still banned.
Okay.
Oh,
that guy got banned.
I know who you're thinking of that guy's
yeah all right artur artur semenov was at the games last year he's fit get with the programming
if bill and semon walk towards each other while both rocking massive erections let me picture that
okay they will break each other's noses first.
I don't get it.
I'll explain it to you afterwards.
It's a good thing my nose is 18 inches long.
Your boners point straight up at each other in the face with your boners.
I like the way you picture it,
but he's suggesting that our noses are so big and our penises are so
small that we would break each
other's noses.
Uh-huh.
The more you know.
There's so much penis talk on this podcast.
Chase is my one
gay friend.
Okay, let's go
over and look at the ladies. Asia, we want
to love you. Just give us something to do.
Have someone do something crazy.
Have someone do something crazy.
We want to love you.
Dewan Young, Sahar Kaya.
I thought that was the – oh, okay.
Sahar Kaya.
Was that the games?
She's been to the games.
Okay.
So we got Korea.
Sonia Onshoy is injured and not competing this year.
Korea and Turkey.
Okay.
What's her injury?
I don't recall.
All right.
Fine.
All right.
We're done with Asia too.
Good luck, ladies.
Do we get them all?
All the candidates?
Look at that name.
Wait, wait.
Go back to that name.
How the fuck is that a name?
Go down a little bit.
There's a name with all capital letters.
My name should only be written in all capital letters.
What the fuck is that?
How'd you do that?
She's from a country.
I don't know.
She's from a country without a flag.
You can do what you want.
Oh, yeah.
What does that even mean?
What the fuck?
Is that she's Russian then
how bad is my mic
that somebody's DMing me about
Shure microphones right now
I mean it's not
that bad
no it's not even bad at all
listen CrossFit give them their fucking
flag back
wait what flag is it
it's gotta be Russia
alright
it's written in russian that's
how hard that country is they only use capitals i love russia peace peace to right yeah i guess
i told alexis that the other day just something about russian people they're cool
i hate the cadence they speak in it's awesome i. What's wrong with it? I can't stand it. I just speak faster.
It's just too slow for me.
Like, talk way faster.
I'm the smallest speaking person on the planet.
I'm sorry, but they need to speak faster.
That's all capital, I think, is what...
Yeah, it's all BS with the no flag. Yeah, it's all bs with the no flag yeah it's crazy okay um we went through all the people uh
the do we have dates now for the semi-finals will they be televised are they all on the same
weekend who can tell me some fun stuff that's like why we should watch and stuff like that
yeah i'm going with suza who you going with which one is aware you said you had dates oh dates uh no
not those kind of dates uh okay here we go nice uh individual and team okay so it looks like the
first one will be uh north america east semi-final it'll be in may then go straight to africa africa
is also in may may 18th and 19th so they're gonna uh so it looks
like there's two on that weekend and like Grundler said it looks like the North American uh east will
be uh four days then the second weekend the following weekend May 25th uh will be at North
America West that's the Pasadena one and that same weekend will also be another four-day event
which will be Australia.
Oh, shit, and they have three that weekend.
That's a problem.
That's going to be hard to watch, man.
Two of them are in very similar time zones.
Oceania will be in the middle of the night, I think.
Yeah, that's brutal.
We did that last year.
That is some brutal shit.
Brutally awesome.
And then finally, the numbers are going to be great. We're going to make bank.
Weekend three, Europe semifinal, June 1st.
So it's three consecutive weekends in a row.
And then the final one is Europe and Asia.
Yeah. So the two North America ones and the Europe one, CrossFit is running directly.
They haven't said exactly what that means.
They're all going to do the same workouts.
But as you can tell,
they're going to sort of go from one to the next to the next,
those three weeks doing East West and then Europe.
I really want to know why CrossFit's only running three of them.
I really want to know that.
If only there was someone we could ask.
Or a platform they could speak from.
Do you have any thoughts on that, Bill?
Well, I mean, I know that they're doing a lot of this stuff with
Rothy and their company and getting those out there.
And it's a matter of having, I mean, the logistics of getting everybody out.
That's the media, though. You're talking about the media.
Yeah.
Are you talking broadcasting or what are you talking about?
No, I'm talking about why isn't CrossFit sending out like its people?
Why isn't it taking control over all of them?
Like sending its people out to run.
Do you think they don't have enough people to do it?
Well, that's where I meant like by I didn't, they haven't said what that means.
Like it's even last year they
had people from crossfit at all of the events to work with the athletes but they had they had 15
people at fucking water palooza and they fucked that up too they didn't make anything good out of
there and that wasn't the question but and they posted a bunch of shit wrong out of there too
i just don't get i just don't get what they're fucking doing over there.
I want someone to explain it to me, to come on here and be like, hey, they're doing this because of this and this cost.
I mean, you went straight to the media perspective, Bill.
You think that that's the only thing?
Well, I was thinking when you were talking about how much it was going to be to watch everything.
It was going to be a lot of stuff to watch.
when you were talking about how much it was going to be to watch everything,
it was going to be a lot of stuff to watch.
I know that it takes a lot to put those shows together to get stuff out there.
And then,
you know,
at a,
at a certain production level and not to say that you can't have other
things.
I mean,
we've seen like what you could do on the very low end,
like the Zillow scams when you had everyone out there.
Brian's out there with his cell phone and laptop and doing that.
I mean, you can get it watched, but is it giving everyone its due?
I don't know.
Do you think they're going to do some big semifinals production in Africa this year?
No. No? ever wanted to do i don't know do you think they're going to do some big semi-finals production in africa this year no no i guess i guess asia wasn't bad last year they just didn't have a commentator they just needed a commentator
the camera work was amazing they just had no one telling us what the fuck was going on you
gotta speak some english i'll do it hey they totally dropped the ball on that do you remember what I'm talking about Bill
they totally dropped the ball on that they could have had
someone from the states commentate
it they spent all that fucking money to have
those cameras there and filming it
and they had no one commentating it
yeah that was bizarre
I mean I like
the way that they used to do I mean I always
say that I like the way they used to do the
regional setup where everything I mean everything I always say that. I like the way they used to do the regional setup where everything... I mean,
everything got covered.
You know? All of it was.
Mark Fuentes,
you can never say enough nice things about
the sign. It was the live
morning call listeners that
surprised me with that on my birthday. I'm pretty pumped.
It's epic.
I like the colors a lot.
I think if they just did the amount that well you guys did a
great job on zealous games so i don't want to make it sound like you didn't but like the amount that
suza did it at wadapalooza or like the amount like that like just a couple cameras on gimbals
and you got a pretty good looking show like africa i think and asia well i don't remember asia's africa i
remember it was like literally just somebody's phone on instagram live so it's not saying you
need hamilton road on every single thing no but i don't uh um uh i don't think asia was unwatchable
it just we needed someone to know but africa and south america i think were uh a little unwatchable
uh crossfit will provide
logistics uh logistical support those events are much larger in scale than the other semi-finals
what was 60 athletes the thing the other thing that comes up is africa at least it came up last
year they don't have a rogue sponsorship so they they i believe even this year's event is sponsored by another equipment
provider no so that what does come up there is they can't actually get rogue equipment so you
do have to look at that for how they're going to program these events and if they do try to make
them comparable is if they're going to do a echo bike at some events and a non echo bike at Africa or,
or go down the list of rogue equipment.
I know,
I know him.
Hey,
uh,
all the,
all the semifinals are supposed to have the same events,
right?
This year.
They are.
Yeah.
That's what I'm saying.
They got,
they got around it last year by just saying like,
well,
we can,
we can have swimming at our event, is what africa did um or next i i do i do think that
i if i do think that they should make an exception if they can't get that they shouldn't limit the
programming if for some reason they can't get something out to africa so i mean if they can't
get enough they shouldn't that could be changing but i believe it's yeah i know i i heard that they're supposed to all be the same events too but the rest of the fucking
semi-final shouldn't be held hostage because you can't get fucking um barbells that spin to the
fucking um the continent below europe i think it's literally just like echo bikes and oh when's
the last time you've been to africa uh i was they got problems there i was in africa
in september so oh all right well fine then you know better than me i take that back uh like like
what are those carry on your shoulders and you walk with them sandbag no it goes all the way to
the ground a worm what do you know big fat strong guys carry them what are those things
a yoke like they're not gonna have yokes in africa they got one yoke in africa in africa
you know africa is not a country right oh no shit the uh then they got two
the thing that could be logistically tough for them too is currently they do what's called load
shedding which means they in south africa which means they turn the lights off for hours on end do you right right
yeah but you're working out during the day okay that's at my house when i'm load shedding we turn
off the lights too not you fight in the shade yeah in the shade patrick clark crossfit is
absorbing absorbing costs for those events hey they do that shit in um in california
to help and don't act like africa is a bad place crossfit is absorbing costs for those events
which is too much for a regular event organizer to assume yet this is patrick i i i would need i
need numbers and i to even believe that i don't like what are they gonna do i just paid fifty
dollars to place in the top two thousand quarterals. They have money to support, uh,
live coverage.
They sure do.
I don't know.
It's going to be,
it's good.
Do you remember when there used to be 17 regionals?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
What was crazy was,
uh,
the old age at the old HQ when they were piping all the,
all the lives in and like Sean and Rory and those guys would be sleeping on the floor to try to get up at night when they would have like the stuff being pumped in from like Europe or whatever.
Because they'd be basically running like 24-7 for the whole weekend.
It was nuts.
I'm going to tell you guys a story here.
This has nothing to do with anything.
Cool.
Love those stories.
This room that fucking Billunler was just telling you
about was fucking insane they built this room that cost hundreds of thousands a million dollars who
the fuck knows and it was right across from greg's office and it was in the top floor of hq
and it was a massive room and it looked like fucking mini cape canaveral there were rows of
desks with monitors everywhere and headsets
and it looked it's straight you couldn't even fucking believe this room monitors everywhere
and when we would do the regionals as bill would say the shit got pumped into this room at h2 and
santa cruz and then went out to the rest of the world to the espns to the cbss to the facebooks
to wherever we wanted it was so fucking expensive in high tech
it was dope yeah it was like that yes it was fucking like that it was nuts but it was cooler
than that our monitors were cooler it was a little more like um uh there was a mom and pop like uh
like some shit was duct taped together right it was like this but there was some shit that was
a little wonky but there were timers and like on the air,
red signs and just shit everywhere.
And it was,
if you walked in there,
it was stressful as fuck.
That dude,
a Rothie and,
and,
and,
and,
um,
uh,
Joe,
Joe Novello,
what a stud,
even calm,
Joe,
old,
calm,
old man,
Joe would even get a little tense in there.
It was,
it was,
and the timing between like one one regional
event having to pass it back to hq then they'd be doing a round up wrap up whatever and get kicked
out to the east because of all the time zones were different so they had to be the glue between all
the different ones that were happening yes it was it was sick and there was a guy there running it
who was a stud joe novella yeah anyway and i can't
even believe there was a guy of his capability in santa cruz because we live in a complete like
where you you just do jujitsu and surf and smoke weed that's like the highest capability of people
in my town anyway so this guy so um uh so they hired a new ce CEO in 2018 and he immediately hired a crew to disassemble that fucking room and to tear it down so that we could never do that again.
There was no need to tear it down.
We could have waited.
We could have postponed it.
But they were so against fucking media and ever doing media again to make a statement.
They tore that shit down and they were selling
monitors that we had in there these crazy
fancy monitors that might have been $5,000 a piece
for like 50 bucks it was it was
I want one
it was absolutely batshit
crazy what they did in there that that
CEO just
one fucking d-bag
do you remember when they tore that room down Bill
or hearing about it?
That was terrible.
I remember.
I mean,
all the same time they turned it,
that broadcast room into the old people workout room with the, with the yellow couch where they would.
Yes.
Yes.
Hey,
that we could,
uh,
uh,
gray ghost,
uh,
$20 to have bill on more often oh should i keep get
off of bill for that much thanks man it's on 20 more shows with bill
oh the good old days i think that's trish actually she was the one who was in all those
workout videos i thought that was savan's mom she might she joke. My mom wasn't in a lot of them.
My beautiful wife, Devin, did not qualify for the quarterfinals,
but she did all of her open wads RX for the first time.
Hell yeah.
Yeah, it's bad to the bone.
Those organizers couldn't financially and logistically sustain.
Okay, we did that.
CrossFit can.
I don't know.
We'll see, Patrick.
We'll see.
There's that couch.
That looks like the stage of Married with Children.
It really does.
Hey, when was this?
Oh, shit.
Holy shit. Zach Tellender
posts on fucking Trish's account,
Trish the Dish.
Trish is a fucking
fitness icon.
What is going on? is not ron that's the guy that owns the
building that hq's in that guy's rich as fuck so trish is married trish is rich as fuck i want to
tell i want to tell you something about this guy right here which is kind of fascinating this guy
this guy owned owns hq and all the buildings in the area he's rich as fuck and he's always driving around there in his picket truck and he works his ass off like he's carrying ladders HQ and all the buildings in the area. He's rich as fuck, and he's always driving around there in his picket truck, and he works his ass off.
He's carrying ladders around and all this stuff.
Multi-multi-millionaire many times over.
Holding some pretty big jugs.
And so he – Greg got him to start doing CrossFit, and he had a bucket list.
And on his bucket list was to take his grandkids to europe
And he had crossed it off his bucket list because he was having trouble going up and downstairs
And he did this fucking old fuck fat person program that we had downstairs in the gym
With like 50 people in it. My mom was in it. My mom was almost too fit for it
They actually told her she was too fit, but she insisted on going my mom was like 75
And it was just old and fat people for free could work
out down there and this dude did it and he put it back on his bucket list and took his kids to
fucking europe his grandkids for a month that's dope that's rad and now he's back and he's older
and he's still rich and i got fired the end the end story kind of over
it was hey Greg would call it that basically
the old fat fuck person program basically
I mean I'm paraphrasing a little bit but not much
I don't like I think I have all the words just maybe
not the right yeah Wes Piot was down there
crushing it yeah
Wes Piot Michelle Moots
Hollis Malloy
Jenny Lau
Rory had played a huge role in it
fucking that program was crazy
that was amazing
anyway
okay
at some point we're going to have to go through the programming
that's going to be a crazy just bitch
session I feel
that'll probably be I I don't know.
It looks like we have something scheduled on Tuesday.
I have no guest schedule this week.
I can't tell you how fucking excited I am.
I mean,
disappointed.
I am.
So Danielle,
Brandon toe spacer show is not,
Oh no,
that show is real.
Cause I've been texting.
You knew it.
That show is real I'm gonna fucking read you guys the text I had with her
hold on let me see
get her on the phone
I'm not calling her again
I called her once and she answered and I'm not fucking that up
I'm up one for one 100%
okay
oh
so I said hey can we do a late night show?
She said, would love to.
I said, is 930 Eastern time okay?
She said, yeah.
And then I said, how about Wednesday night at 930 PM Eastern Standard Time?
And I haven't heard from her, but I'm banking on it.
So I think you're partially right, Hiller.
Oh, there's something in the private chat.
There's always something in there. Oh, man. Hiller accused someone of doing something in the private chat there's always something in there oh man
hillar accused someone of doing steroids in our private chat oh yeah i did do you even know who
i'm talking about at this point no by the time i read it i don't even know uh that was like an hour
ago uh justin berg uh did not fire me but uh he was probably extremely happy
to uh see me go and he never called me or text me or anything when i got uh
fired can we his name doesn't have an h at the end berg if this is bruh justin bruh you don't um
you don't get to uh if you know people in high places you don't expect to be to text back ever within three to five days.
One more time.
If you know people in high places,
you don't get texted back in three to five.
Like,
like it's no,
like,
like if you're going to text with,
if you're going to text with,
I'm just going to use myself,
but I'm going to try to be a little bit humble.
If you're going to,
if you're going to text with rich froning,
you don't trip. If he hasn't responded in two days like that people like are like you gotta let that
shit air out with the big dogs like it like let that shit like people don't people don't answer
texts who are busy like we leave them unread we especially if we like you
We.
Especially if we like you.
You got a phone still?
I have a phone still.
I shouldn't.
Here, hold my phone, assistant.
Gives it to Avi.
Bill, thanks for coming on.
Haplin. My pleasure, man.
Haplin, Halpin.
Son of a bitch.
Halpin.
Thanks for coming on.
Hiller. Yo of a bitch. Halpin. Thanks for coming on. Hiller.
Yo.
Thank you.
I gave you guys a chance to call.
Oh, no.
The ladies are in the chat.
They're still looking for sperm, it looks like.
Dude, last night's show was crazy, Bill.
Hey, that continued this morning.
Bill, would you give sperm would you
donate sperm to who just to just to anyone oh wait a minute just out into the world yeah
i don't know i don't think about that for six hundred dollars yeah i'm worth more than that
i know i know it seems a little weird right to give your sperm for $600? What if these two lesbian girls wanted a baby and they wanted you to bone one of them and then you could also play a role in the kid's life?
Nope.
How did it go from maybe for $600 but not –
No.
I said I didn't know if I would have anyone pay for my sperm and
you said 600 i said now i'm worth more than that you said yeah you can bone one of these lesbians
and then you can be a part of that kid's life and i'm like no i no i'm good okay so you don't so
you don't want it i already have two crazy exes dude okay so it has nothing to do with the two
lesbians no i got a cool girlfriend i'm good where I am I don't need to be doing that
Good answer I'll ask you off the air
I didn't know you had a girlfriend
Caller hi
Hi Sebi what's up
Just chilling
Living the dream here with Bill and Mike Halpin
And Mr. Hiller
And a thousand of my closest friends
A couple of things.
So one, I have unvaccinated sperm.
Oh, thank you.
And then two, I do.
And then two, what are the chances we're going to see,
because this whole time I've been kind of wondering
and pretty much expecting how many people are going to get docked
on that process for counting their very first
jump ever.
I'm sorry, are you using your
what's that thing when you have a hole? Are you using
your trach vibrator? Like, did you have
your fucking, do you have a hole in your throat? What the fuck's going on?
How come I can't hear you?
I've been yelling all day, sorry.
What?
I've been yelling all day.
Been doing what all day?
Yelling. He wants to know if Kate Gordon's going to make it to the semifinals.
How the hell did you figure that out?
I didn't.
I made it up.
Hello?
Caller?
I'm still here.
Okay.
Oh, there you go.
Ask your question one more time.
Sorry.
So the question is, how many...
Is that the same person?
Wow. Sorry, so the question is How many Is that the same person? What are the chances we see
A severe penalty
Given
Sorry, you're gonna sue me off
What are the chances we see a severe penalty given
On athletes per kill
Just say the last Wait, Halpin knows it what do you say halpin you want to see
no w penalty given a what so there was a lot of ways that people were screwing up the the
crossover jumping because in a video that boz put out you don't actually count the first single
under you count the first crossover and then you count every cross and uncross. Okay, right, right.
So if there's videos that show that somebody counted one on their very first jump, then that would be wrong.
And some of the language the CrossFit says is they will dock you the last time you did a correct rep back to it.
So that would mean they didn't do any of them.
Half the people.
Half the people.
So with that...
Okay, keep going.
Yeah, I say this because I admit
that I think I'm guilty of it.
Oh, wow. That's your name, sir.
What's your
CrossFit ID?
What's funny is this is actually
Pool Boy, and I am actually
the idiot demonstrating the double uh, double under crossover.
No, that's awesome. You're a beast.
Wow.
You get a waiver, you get a waiver, a pass because you're the demo boy.
All right. Perfect.
Hey, so it's just one rep.
It's just one rep you think you fucked up because you counted the first one.
That's him. Yeah. It's just one rep. You think you fucked up because you counted the first one. That's him. Yeah.
I'm almost positive myself. When I did the workout,
my judge counted the first rep. Yep. There's my, uh,
you could say counted the first rep.
And then when I counted and judged like my fellow athletes, I,
I'm almost positive. I counted the first rep every time.
Yeah. Does your video up? We'll, we'll review your shit right here live.
If you want,
where's your video?
We got the guest counter count,
best counter in the biz.
No,
I'm not actually in the video.
I'm just an idiot.
No,
but I mean,
I mean,
when you did the workout,
did you,
did you film your workout?
Yeah,
I did.
Where,
what's the,
where,
where can we find it?
Where can we go judge you? Is it on YouTube?
No, it's on YouTube.
So you fucking monkeys can't
see it.
That's a smart guy. Totally.
All right.
Thank you for calling
Pool Boy. It's great. It's an honor to have you call
on the show, dude. You're an awesome guy. Yeah, thank you.
Shout out to Kelly Clark, Natalie
Denning, Santa Cruz Native. Let's go. Yeah, what do you think you think kelly clark's gonna do it
oh man i was so brokenhearted for her last year i actually did the so i'm from the bay area also
i'm like in san jose okay so i actually did the uh last chance quarterfinal workouts with her
uh last year so that was a good time um but yeah, she's, I know she's more,
more motivated than ever,
especially since Lance
has pretty much given her the,
hey,
this is your last year.
Yeah.
Holy shit.
Look at you,
dude.
You are a savage.
You have an OnlyFans?
You want to sell your sperm too?
Jeez,
oh man.
Stefan's asking for everybody.
Yeah,
he said he doesn on Vets.
He definitely has an OnlyFans.
Holy shit.
Bingo.
Lucky him up.
Click the tree link, man, and you'll find it there.
All right.
Thanks for calling, dude.
Call in again, please.
We're about to get blocked.
I will.
Appreciate you guys.
Bye.
I see Ice Age Meals, RPM.
Yeah, hey, that dude,
Kelly Clarkson,
Kelly Clarkson, no, Kelly Clark,
CrossFit athlete.
Hey, that's a specimen
for sperm. On weekdays, I'm
catfish people on hinge
for their swimmers.
I don't think you can get a better picture than the top one that's why it's pinned
jeez louise 30 30 more seconds oh there he is with dave 30 more seconds on what he was just
asking about uh yeah tell me there's a very good possibility that they only look at workouts one
and four because that's all we've seen them actually penalize on so far. So if they've already passed,
if they've already passed workout two,
I don't imagine they go back to it.
Wow.
For those of you who just made it to the two hour and 38 minute mark,
that's a pretty good piece of assessment there.
What if people report them though? They usually take that pretty seriously.
Not anymore.
Okay.
Fine.
Yeah,
that's a,
that's a great assessment.
Workouts one and four will probably be
the only two if they if they're going keep going down this path all right uh we'll see you guys oh
i was going to tell you guys when we're going to see you next um tomorrow morning at 7 a.m for sure
we're going to see you for the live call-in show then we have a disc golf show tomorrow at 6 p.m. that's probably the new favorite amongst everyone
and
Tuesday we also oh Tuesday we have
a trolling the leaderboard I do not know
who's going to be on that show Brian said he
would be on this show he didn't show up
so for all I know
he said he was you know
yeah but I changed
the time for him I changed
the fucking time of this show for him I changed the fucking time
of this show for him
oh yeah
frisbee talk yeah
was there a frisbee golf on today
I'm sure are you trying to figure out where Brian is
no
I was curious
alright
buh bye
