Oh, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I should get 30 burpees.
No, no, you know what it was?
It just got scheduled wrong.
It was a last-minute show.
It's Dave's fault.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Dave was off normal schedule, threw everything off.
All right.
Is that your last hit shirt?
Say that again?
Yeah.
You know the guy, our OnlyFans listener?
Yeah.

Bellinghaus made this for me, this skateboard for me, like two years ago.

interpreters in the business how lucky are you guys here with you tonight to interpret anything he
says to correct the record for
any time he gets squirrely.
Get your Dave Castro olive oil now.
I don't even know if it's still in stock. Belt
sold out. Oh, that'll be in the news. Okay.
I haven't done the news yet today.
I'll be doing that right
after.
Here we go.
2024.
We're going to start off with comments as always first comments at ldy 2742 about time for an open hint isn't it uh yes it is yes it is we don't need an open hint
we already know it's lunges 24.2 lunges lunges yep that's a pretty good hint what what don't we don't know
the location for 24.3 yet no wouldn't that be cool if it was at my house yep yeah i figured
we might probably know that by now but yeah that would be dope at the sevenvan Barn or somewhere near me so I could go to it
yeah
where's the first one at
I don't know where it's at
I guess we know who's competing in the first one right
it's Fikowski
yeah we know who's competing in it
and there's another boy
Noah
Ricky and there's another boy. Noah.
Ricky.
Is it Noah?
I don't know.
I forget.
Fikowski and... I'm just waiting for someone in the comments to tell me.
Just stalling until somebody puts it in there.
He's just saying names.
Chandler.
Chandler, yeah.
Travis Mayer.
He's going down the list.
What's the deal with Travis?
Is he going to the...
Oh, wrong show.
Jeff Adler.
Of course.
Gosh.
Gosh.
I know you guys were looking it up because I looked it up and found out the same time
as you did.
Yeah.
Jeff Adler, Alex Kazan, Brent Fikowski, and Alex Raptus.
That's a good lineup. That's aowski, and Alex Raptus. That's a good lineup.
That's a great lineup.
Alex Raptus.
That's right.
Sousa just let the cat out of the bag.
She's going through transition.
That's.
Oh.
Did I say Alex?
I was supposed to.
You were supposed to wait for the news.
Oh, shit.
God.
I broke the story.
All right.
Here we go. He's not going to give us a right. Here we go.
He's not going to give us a clue.
Here we go.
I have a really good one that I captured the other day
that I think I should post this week.
I'm debating if I will or will not,
but I'm just worried that it might be too obvious.
It might really tell the world what the workout is.
So I'm debating if I'm going to do it probably will this that's bullshit his clues are horrible let's face it his clues are horrible
yeah his i was gonna say less lunges it's too obvious but yeah his clues are yeah i've never
heard of anyone guessing from his clues the best one was that ball that went back and forth because
he knew it was going to be like a couplet oh is that what it was that's what i interpreted it as
because it's like you're going down and it's like a couplet and was it right were you right i think
so i think it was a couple but there's a bunch of twists to it by the way knowing that it's two
movements doesn't give you much i mean it gives you something but it doesn't give you much right
yeah philip ke, they're shit.
Yeah.
And Philip had to erase the first thing he wrote.
Yeah.
This week, but not exactly sure what day.
At AdrenalineJunkie8618.
The best thing about the clues is when people complain,
it's so unprofessional that he does it on his own Instagram.
That's the part I like.
I'm already ready to fight those people.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You're like,
Oh yeah.
A dead rabbit on a railroad tracks would be much more professional on the games.
Instagram.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Put them up there with Taylor Swift.
Hi,
Shay from CrossFit.
So flow.
I'm hoping that this year,
the open workouts,
especially the first one will be more welcoming for all the new members that
just started their CrossFit journey. Last year, it started with ring
muscle-ups, and it took a lot of work of us coaches and owners to explain that it's scalable and that
they can take part of the open. The shuttle run and the burpee pull-ups is one that works so good
with the newer athlete as an example. Now that the first part of the open is just the beginning of
the season for whoever want to really compete, I'm hoping that CFHQ are changing the workout
to accommodate the majority of the members that are doing it to celebrate fitness. P.S. Waiting on that olive oil of yours to arrive.
Thanks for the order.
I'm assuming you ordered some.
If you didn't, tdcmercantile.com.
That's where you can order it.
tdcmercantile.com.
tdcmercantile.com.
She must have just ordered it because they deliver fast.
Yeah.
Mercantile.
I think he's on 1.25.
No.
Yeah.
He's on 1.25.
Johan.
Johan Lopez. Lopez talk about identity crisis
Johan's like a European name and Lopez is um, you know, you know
Latinos for Trump
Thank you for the order at adrenaline junkie 8618. So yes, the first workout will be very welcoming to all athletes, new and older athlete or
existing experienced athletes.
Let's just say the difficulty in this one and in all of them won't come through the
complexity of the programming, but through the intensity with which you attack the actual workout or test.
Let's hold him to that.
To what?
To which statement?
The last one that he made?
Yeah, let's rewind that.
That's pretty good.
That's pretty good.
That's some shit right there.
That's good.
Make it click.
Difficulty in this one and in all of them won't come through the complexity of the programming,
but through the intensity with which you attack the actual workout or test or whatever you want to call it so it'll be
something very encouraging of people participating in it's hard to talk about it without uh saying
too much but that's all i'm gonna say on that one at this point. At azdeespadas.fernando.
He said very encouraging.
Do you think he was about to say inclusive?
But he's like, fuck that word.
I don't want to trigger my boy Seve.
I hope not.
I hope not.
The open's always been inclusive.
CrossFit's always been inclusive.
Always.
Never not been.
Okay, so it's not the drug use.
It's because he openly talks about it.
He's talking about Hiller.
It's not that he openly talks about it.
It's that he, yeah, so it is because he admitted his usage so if everyone was if all these athletes were
admitting that they're using then they'd all get disqualified too so hillary's unique example he's
one of the very few people who's vocal about breaking our rule so we punished him for it
so what is it i don't know first of all i don't think he was punished he was just told he couldn't
participate i don't think that's a punishment and if everyone was doing it you wouldn't kick everyone out that's not true
that's not true at all if everyone was doing it then they would change the rules
yeah like if you find out the all top 20 males and all top 20 female we're all i'm even saying
talk let's say just 20 000 hey what if 20 000 if everyone's like hey if 20 000 people sent
uh emails in and we're like hey we're not doing the open and because we're juiced up
they'd either have a juiced up category it's like the planes when they told you you had to wear
masks the only reason why they fucking that rule lasted so long is because people did it yep
everyone's like fuck you we're not flying they'd been like all right fine come on on yeah 100 and
they still did that in some cases yeah you're absolutely right so uh no this all shit come on the drug use and it's the drug use
and we only know about that because he's talking about it at samuel and i saw the and you don't
know you don't know you just you the only reason why we assume which which i do think it's right
i'm not pushing back and saying they shouldn't have booted them but yeah but they still don't
no one knows well to know they would have to test them and have it come out positive and gone through that due
diligence right i don't even i don't even know if andrew knows for all i know he could he for all
he knows he could be getting some garbage and just be taking placebos i don't know if he's
himself yeah he'd one hell of a placebo with that 600 pound fucking deadlift he did the other day
yeah good point another another new story you just stole from me. God damn it. Fuck.
I'm sorry.
Did he just fucking pull 595 or 600 pounds?
I didn't realize he was so fucking strong.
That's impressive.
At Azde Espada.
Well, it makes sense why he's so strong.
At Azde Espada Fernando.
I just did yours.
At Samuel.Marcora.
Trainer Summit.
Now we are talking.
I've seen a lot of extreme BS diets summits from CrossFit.
Hey, but no summits about the most important thing CrossFit does, training.
What BS summits has CrossFit done?
BS diet summits?
When has there ever been a diet summit?
The only summits that I know, there's been affiliate summits and there's been the health summits.
Yeah.
Both were great.
Yeah, and I could see why you think it's BS if you have an IQ under 69, which I think is imbecile.
Puts you in the imbecile category.
Okay, so I disagree with that. I've seen a lot of extreme BS diets summits from CrossFit, but no summits about the most important thing CrossFit does, training.
I agree that we need to do some summits on training and we will get there hey all of those
summits are those health summits are 100 relative to probably the most fundamental parts of what
crossfit is at the base of the pyramid which is nutrition and being able to discern bullshit yeah i'd really like to know what he wants he wants a summit where we all sit around and like talk
about who's the what's the best way to coach the overhead squad i'm not poo-pooing that but
it sounds like it's another guy maybe throw this guy in the woolly camp who just doesn't know what
crossfit is yeah definitely i just don't know why he had to trash
the other one to also say he wanted a trainer one like they're both great why would you
you know what i mean yeah it doesn't make sense maddie nagel 5709 do you find it difficult to
not be as involved as so some so i read these exactly as it written and sometimes they don't
make sense as do you find it difficult to not be as involved as programming as before i know you're still
overseeing but not quite the creation role you had before and interested to hear how you found
that transition i want to say something here too uh last week or the week before he's like i'm
really excited about programming i'm really excited i was at dickie's let me tell you something
he's as involved as he's ever been, I think.
Yeah, I think I think that I'm wondering if he's going to walk that back here.
Well, the transition a year and a half ago was very sudden, so I went from programming everything all the time to not programming at all and working back in.
And let me even say, even back then, there were a lot of stages I was not programming.
let me even say, even back then, there were a lot of stages I was not programming. So especially age groups and stuff I was overseeing. The big difference when I came back and got re-involved
with Boz and the team is he had, by my departure, had to program individual and team stuff. And
last year he programmed individuals and teams and the other stages. And as I was coming back,
just advised and worked with and supported him. Now having this full, you know, I'm completely back on that team,
working closely with everyone there into this season.
The Open is heavily involved there.
And it felt like in a place
to where my creative contribution is present
in a collaborative team-like environment.
And with the games, with quarterfinals and semifinals,
again, team, the team did it with collaboration, with feedback.
I provided feedback and guidance with the games.
I'm definitely finding myself.
I'm going to be heavily involved, even at a creative level.
I started working on the schedule and started working on the flow and just got really sucked in.
That's what it was.
Remember, he's like, I'm so excited by the schedule.
I got something crazy.
I mean, he was like, I'm so excited by the schedule. I got something crazy. I mean, he was like...
He was
pumped. He is pumped.
Yeah, 10 out of 10 fired up for Dave, for sure.
And I imagine he has total
autonomy over the logistics, the schedule,
the competition, the events,
all of it. Whatever they call them now.
He's as involved as he's ever been.
That's going to be my take. For sure.
We'll all work together, but I enjoying kind of coming in with the games and leaning into that at new western hunter could the crossfit website start posting links for the
lecturers or the presenters from the health summit yes i don't know when they're going to do it oh
sorry um did he he also insinuated that they already have these semi quarterfinals and semifinals done? Kind of.
Yeah. Sounds like they got the first portion of the season laid out, at least.
Yeah. I didn't even understand this last question, but we do have plans to do that.
OK, so what could the CrossFit website start posting links for the lecturers or the presenters from the Health Summit?
Oh, yes. I don't know when they're going to do it,
but we do have plans to do that.
Oh,
you could probably answer that.
Is I can't,
unfortunately.
Do you know,
or you just can't say,
or no,
I have no idea about the,
the posting schedule.
I know for a fact,
they have great video of each speech and each speaker along with their
slides and everything else so i don't know what their the schedule looks like i would imagine
that they're probably gonna space that out quite a bit though and i think they'll trickle them in
one by one i think we'll get like maybe nicole's opener and then you might get ronda patrick like
way later why are they doing that because they have such shit media that they need to really
stretch everything out i'm like why aren't they just dumping doing that? Cause they have such shit media that they need to really stretch everything out.
I'm like,
why aren't they just dumping shit?
Why aren't they just like,
that's a fucking great question.
Cause I do know this for a fact,
and I can't talk about this.
Like,
uh,
the ruck with go ruck,
the ruck presented by go ruck was phenomenal.
And when I was talking to the team,
CrossFit's media team,
they were like,
dude,
the shots we got were incredible.
And because they were up super early shots we got were incredible and because they
were up super early in the morning and there was no one else out there um they went on like this
ruck around ladyberg lake in downtown austin they were telling me that they were doing door open van
shots and catching it like a whole trail of everybody rucking up the hill with a beautiful
like uh skyline background of austin and stuff like that as the sun was coming up um they were
really excited about the footage they got from that so i'm so i'm surprised we haven't seen any
of that yet already either too but who knows all right who knows what type of red tape they're
dealing with but i do know that you will all see and i do know that they did have plans to
trickle each speaker out over time one of the most popular videos in the history of crossfit was from uh one of greg's health summits uh chuck fong carl jung fong jason fong jason fong yeah yeah and and
and that thing is still just rolling getting big numbers millions of views yeah yep
okay so that's it for comments um i have my oil, olive oil site going. There's olive oil there,
tdcmercantile.com. But recently, I mentioned this on the Sevan podcast. I started, I made some belts.
I had this big black leather hide and I made some belts, sold those, sold out pretty quickly.
And from that, I still have a lot of that hide left, not in belt length, but in smaller sizes.
So I played around with a couple other things I've made over the course of the last week and a half.
I just posted some key chains, which are super cool.
Those are almost sold out now.
And I posted some coasters the other night, which went really fast too.
They sold out quickly.
So from one big hide, I plan on doing one hide every five to six weeks.
So from this black one that the belts came from, got belts out of, that's first goal.
And then second, with the rest of it, I'll do some key chains and coasters. Someone just
emailed me and asked why I don't do wallets while I can do wallets, but that's just a,
another stage of commitment. And the thing is with this leather high, the type of leather
that I'm using for the belts, it's really thick. Um, you don't do wallets with that type of leather.
for the belts it's really thick um you don't do wallets with that type of leather so the wallet thing is a different type of journey altogether yeah he he made me the most beautiful
airpod cover case for my airpods that clipped onto my belt yeah and i used it forever until
they switched to the airpod pros it was dope and i would love for him to make those it
looked like it was really tedious he made dave made a video showing his sewing room he has a
detached sewing room uh at his house um here in california and it is a really cool spot and i
whenever he talks like this i always picture in my mind him in there just sewing you know what i mean
it's kind of a it's kind of a funky thing he's he needs some glasses that like hang on his nose and
yeah that's definitely that goes a pencil behind his ear yeah and a little shirt a little uh shirt
with a pocket that's got like a little steel ruler in it the video he made showing him making the
belt is cool for anyone who hasn't seen it it's cool it gives you a different vibe about uh dave so with the open announcements i've talked about this recently
i am definitely doing the first one and over the course of the last few days i've been setting up
who the people are who the individuals who would who will do week two and three are going to be
and i'm really excited they're on board and're, let's just say they're not CrossFit
games athletes. They're not CrossFit personalities in terms of how we, they're not like myself or
other HQ personalities. They're outside of our bubble, but involved in CrossFit. And honestly,
they're bigger names than anyone, than any of the athletes and anyone in our circle.
Very soon,
I hope maybe in the next week or so,
we'll announce who they are.
Have two
really cool people lined
up to announce weeks two
and three.
Interesting.
Mario Lopez?
Racist. that would be amazing dude that would be amazing oh that's funny yeah jaco i think it's a good guess
i don't think don fall is gonna do it tyson bajan it's a good guess but i don't think he'll do it
is going to do it. Tyson Bajan is a good guess, but I don't think he'll do it.
I'm trying to think. Dave is
friends with Post Malone.
That would
be cool. That would be totally fucking random.
Does Post Malone even work out?
I don't know.
At the Super Bowl, he looked pretty lean.
He looked like he was getting healthy?
Rick Ross? Wow. Wow. Rick Ross would be crazy. He looked pretty lean. He looked like he was getting healthy. Yeah. Oh, Rick Ross.
Wow.
Wow.
Rick Ross would be crazy.
That would be nuts.
That would be crazy.
Wow.
That's funny.
God, it better be good, dude.
Because I'm so bummed if it's not Dave.
It better be good.
Yeah.
Interesting.
They have to be guest celebrity people too that's the only way you
you can make up for replacing dave for those of you who believe that there are astronauts in a
space station one year um they did three two one go live from the space station in madison in the
tennis stadium that was crazy one of the astronauts from outer space started it. Yeah, that's cool. Oh Marjorie Taylor green. That would be dope
Oh Trump jr. Holy shit
That would be crazy
Oh
My god
All right
All right here we go. We need to we need to do we need to think about that
Here we go. He said the think about that. Here we go.
He said, the thing is,
he said it was someone bigger than any of the athletes.
Yeah.
So it's someone who's transcended our space.
Mm-hmm.
But still is involved enough to do an open announcement.
Oh, what about that WWE guy?
Oh, interesting.
Well, since we don't know his name, I don't know if it's a good pick.
The champ.
He's huge amongst 13 WWE people.
Yeah.
Okay.
Could be an interesting play.
Could be an interesting play.
I'm going to go with that.
I'm going to go with Post Malone and the WWE guy.
Wow.
Okay.
I'm going Jocko.
I think Jocko is a good guess, I'm going Jocko. I think Jocko's a good guess.
I'm going Jocko.
I don't know who else.
Oh, John Cena.
Wow.
He does CrossFit.
Oh, Seth Rollins.
Seth Rollins.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay, that might be.
Oh, maybe Danny Spiegelgel she's bigger than crossfit
that's true that's right she okay instagram personality yep um yeah i don't know man i
don't know i'm going definitely with uh jaco as one of them and i'm lost for the for the second
one oh my god looking good though if they had a general do it, that would be awesome.
That would be cool.
A general from the Army would be sweet.
John Cena, but you can't see him.
All right.
Excited to share with the world when we're ready for that.
And last piece, Daniel Chaffee.
He's the international country liaison for HQ.
He has a thriving gym, CrossFit Move in Paris, France.
He has like a thousand members at that gym.
Then he has a couple other gyms in Bordeaux.
And he brought his whole team or nine people.
He brought nine of his trainers out here
and they spent a couple of days.
We hiked around the ranch.
I showed them the ranch. They did work out. They worked out yesterday.
And then today they came back and I had a really good time with them. I gave him some olive oil
and some, some bread that my wife makes. And I also, I made them some leather gifts,
um, little parting gifts for their, um, Dave's wife has a, uh, bread making
website. She has a website where she sells bread. She's had it for a long time.
Oh, really? Yeah, and I think she
sells soaps there too.
We get bread from her when we
get bread. We don't get bread very often, but when we
get bread, we get it from her. It is
wild. I've had it. You've had
it, yeah. At my house? Yeah.
Is it nuts or what?
Yeah, it's great.
It's really good. I remember you had it with me. Yeah, it is great. Yeah. Yeah. It's really good.
I remember you had a really good time.
Yeah, it is.
It's something else.
I was thinking about the bread from Dave.
Dave is the CrossFit Jesus.
I don't know if that's blasphemy, but I'll go with it.
That crew, it's good to see them.
And they are actually running one of the semifinals too.
And in that, they have a community event aspect. So we have these community events that we're doing
with existing events, kind of community partnerships that CrossFit's doing with some
of the big existing events. And they are one of the community events in this new world of
partnering with some of these existing events. So excited to work with them. It was cool seeing them.
Cool having them out and hosting them for a couple of days.
So by the way,
I hung,
I got to hang out with Daniel too,
while he was here,
he's head of affiliates in Europe.
A great guy.
I hung out with the entire team.
I hung out with them,
went out to eat with them a few times.
And it was a blast.
Daniel is a class act.
The whole team was diehard.
They invited me out to film behind the scenes of the French Throwdown.
I had an amazing sponsor that was potentially lined up that would be – it's a massive company, massive.
And unfortunately, today I spoke to Dave about it and, uh, it got
put to bed and, and I understand why I complete, I completely, completely. That's a bummer. Yeah.
Understand why, uh, maybe we can get that sponsor to work with us in other places. Um,
but, uh, so, so I'm not sure which, uh, which behind the scenes we're going to do,
but we, but we do need a, we do need a big, massive sponsor for that.
That's it.
It's about to start to move really quickly as this games machine picks up and goes off.
In a couple weeks, we have the first announcement.
So if you haven't signed up yet, sign up for the Open.
It's going to be a special Open, and I'm really excited about it.
It was not Snickers,
but I would so take Snickers.
Listen.
It's the protein bar version, okay?
Dude, I would love it if Snickers
would sponsor the behind the scenes.
That would be crazy.
It will be the biggest.
The behind the scenes,
if me and the team do the behind the scenes
for the semiffinals all four it will it will surpass views of the most viewed content in
crossfit this year which is already going to be the games behind the scene it's going to be the
most minutes watched by far um yeah wrigley's gum would be good and anyone dude marble light gamble yeah any anything would be good glass dildos.com whatever
