Starting point is 00:00:00 Freedom! [♪ Music Plays And we're back. We're back, the crocodile crew. The peanut butter gang. The pretzel gang, them freedom boys. That's right, we're all back here. And... We have many names, just like Lucifer. The peanut butter peeps. The peanut butter peeps.
Starting point is 00:00:37 I was on Lucifer, never forget. I will never forget that. You were, who'd you play? Abel. Abel, that's right. It's so weird. Abel from the Old Testament. Oh, you know, as a canan.
Starting point is 00:00:52 Somehow comes back and possesses someone else, this woman. But someone else, he possessed someone before? Yeah, he was famous for it. That's what that story is about, Cain and Abel? Yeah, that's why Cain killed him. He's like, I can't take him with me. He's like, I can't take him with me. He's what that story is about, Kane and Abel? Yeah, that's why Kane killed him. He's like, I can't deal with this guy. No, he's just sick of him possessing Kane. Oh, OK.
Starting point is 00:01:10 Yeah, he's like dead man, Boston brand. Oh, that's right. Former circus performer. That's right. I love how in a comic book, anything can be explained by a former gymnast or former circus performer. Anyone who doesn't have superpowers. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:23 Like, oh, well, I was a former gymnast. Gymnast can't do this shit, jumping off buildings. Does that come up a lot? Yeah, hell yeah, it does, Lord. It comes up a lot. It comes up a lot. You'll find this out when you talk about the Marvel Universe. That's why Robin stopped hitting his period. Because he did so much gymnastics?
Starting point is 00:01:38 He did. There was a female Robin, Paul. Oh, that's right. They're not that far Oh, that's right. That's right. Stephanie Brown. What about in the dark night too? There was a...
Starting point is 00:01:50 Oh yeah, Carrie, what's her name? Underwood. Yeah, Carrie Underwood. She just keyed cars. Why did Carrie Underwood key a car? Well, she has a song about breaking up a man's car before he cheats kind of deal. Did she? Yes.
Starting point is 00:02:06 Didn't she come out on social media, and this is a little gruesome, but didn't she say like, hey, I had an accident and I kind of fucked up my face. And so I've been hiding. So when you see me next time, be gentle, but that's what happened. And then she came back out and she's still a dime, right?
Starting point is 00:02:22 She didn't look different at all. Yeah, she's still a dime. I mean, it't look different at all. Yeah, she's still a dime. I mean, it's repulsive what he did, but I feel like... Well, I don't know what's happening. She's a dime piece. I've never heard of it before. Scott calling her a dime was gross. I've never heard of it before.
Starting point is 00:02:36 Oh, you've never heard of a dime? No. She's a 10. Oh! That's stupid. But she is stunning and it does make you think, what the fuck happened to her face? What could have been so bad that just the tiniest
Starting point is 00:02:50 imperceptible change made her like come out and say like, hey guys, this is gonna freak you out. I have a theorem. Do you think that she did a little nipponitaki over there and there was like a settle down period where she was like, oh no, I look fucked up. And then it like all settled down. She realized, oh, I'm fine. Maybe there's such a strange settle down period
Starting point is 00:03:10 it takes like six months or something. And a lot of people who get it don't want to not work those six months. So there's like one movie like Nicole Kimman, for instance, when she's in the movie nine, and she just looks so weird, nine, which is one less than a dime by the way. And nine pence.
Starting point is 00:03:28 And then she looked, then after that she looks fine cause it like all settles down. Nicole Kidman is so beautiful. Yes. And in the- How beautiful is she? And in the undoing, she has a lot of lip work going on that I found unnecessary.
Starting point is 00:03:41 I don't think it's necessary. She's so beautiful. Here's what's so weird about that show. I watched the whole thing much to my regret. Don't know spoilers because I've not seen it. Wait, did you really not watch it? No, of course not. What the hell?
Starting point is 00:03:53 What the hell? Do you know how much fucking TV we've been watching during the pandemic? Yes. We watched everything. Was the Hulk in the undoing? No, I didn't watch it. Well, you know what I love about the undoing
Starting point is 00:04:04 and other shows? This is the guy who we just were talking about, the mandalore. I don't know, you can't prove that. I like shows like the Undoing because every week I was like, I can't wait for Sunday. I got something to look forward to. Yes. I have something to live for. Is it the day of the week do you think you like more than the shows? Um, yeah, really. I'm like, I love Sunday, but how can I make it feel good?
Starting point is 00:04:24 Because I... The church is out of the question now. Without church, I can't'm like, I love Sunday, but how can I make it feel good? I can't go anymore. I have I crocs are hot. I have reached a saturation point with that type of show. What murder mystery? Meryl, like affluent murder, white people murder mystery. Are you watching the flight attendant? It's not all of those things. Not great, but it's fun. I think it I know. It's not all of those things. It's not great, but.
Starting point is 00:04:45 It's fun. I think it's fun. Welcome to our TV review podcast. I think it's like really, it's like, you know what it kind of reminds me of? Pushing Daisies, Paul, meets like a mystery sort of, like it feels like it has like fun, funky,
Starting point is 00:04:59 comedic almost tone to it. Going for a little search party vibe, no? Search party meets Pushing Daisies meets Travel. Yeah, it's Riverdale. It's a Greg Burlanti show. Lynn Will Burry's. Greg Burlanti did Flight Attendant? Yeah. Oh. So yeah, it's like Riverdale and, you know. It does have a, it has a sort of specific tone. Yes. I don't think I could ever watch Riverdale because apparently there was a drug on that show called Jingle Jingle. And that's a movie.
Starting point is 00:05:24 That's a new movie. And that's a new movie. That's a new movie. Yeah, and I can't do that. But here's the thing about Nicole Kidman. One of those guys was going to buy our house and he backed out. Jingle or jingle? Yes.
Starting point is 00:05:34 The Nicole Kidman, there were times where I could not figure out what she was human. I could not figure out what she was human. Did cannot figure out what she was human. You know, I'm saying she was human. What she was thinking. Yes, what she was trying to express. Because, because this is the problem with the too much filler and stuff. It's really problematic and I watch it
Starting point is 00:05:56 on the Bachelor at and stuff. I don't know if I mentioned this when we did that. No, who added on the Bachelor at? Well, Claire. Claire. Claire. Claire. She can't, here's what it is. First of all. Chocolate cake for breakfast.
Starting point is 00:06:11 It's not even a judgment on people because I feel like it's doctors who say like you could do this. Doctor Huckstable. I've had friends who have been told, they've been sort of coerced into doing more than they thought they would. Oh yeah, because they're like, ah, you could probably get this done.
Starting point is 00:06:24 Yeah, why not do this? And you want to please the nice doctor. And so you say yes. And one they're like, oh, you could probably get this done. Yeah, why not do this? And you wanna please the nice doctor. And so you say yes. And while they're like, you know, we'll do. He's also telling you your face is fucked up. Yeah. I don't know if it's like CCs about us. Like do a hundred more over here and there'll be,
Starting point is 00:06:34 you know, whatever. And then it's like too much. And I feel like with Claire, she's very pretty and she got too much and it's, her forehead doesn't move at all. And then when she's crying, you're thinking she's crazy because it makes me- Oh, that's interesting.
Starting point is 00:06:48 Because she's crying so much? Because there's no- On a TV show? The face doesn't- When she knows she's on camera? No, I have a real point. The face doesn't move with the crying. We have to remember to invoke that.
Starting point is 00:07:00 For real, I have a real point. When you're crying and you're really trying to express something and you're like mad or something, it's like her face isn't doing anything, but the eyes are doing it. And then it's like, what's going on? The eyes have it. It's like freaking out, but your face isn't going the right way. And then the same with Nicole Kemen, where she's missing a couple of little movements
Starting point is 00:07:20 in the eyebrows that are going to tell a lot. You know who I, to to my knowledge has not gotten it and I respect it and she's a great actress is Naomi. Dame Judy Dim. Dame Judy Dim, no, Naomi Watts. Yes, and I also think, what's her name from 20th century women. Oh, Julia Amor.
Starting point is 00:07:40 No, but she also is called. Oh, Ben, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Neither, and they're great actresses and they have expressive faces. And then I watched, I went to a talk back with Annette Benning after that movie. And she... I went to a talk during of that movie. I just shouted at the screen.
Starting point is 00:07:53 Wow. I went to a talk about outside the building. Well, let's, Paul has something to talk about. I just want to say that someone in the audience, I might have told this story before. No, tell us, I've never heard it. Okay, I was in England and the person who asked the question was British and they were like, asking her like, do you have a fun that, you know,
Starting point is 00:08:13 when you watching yourself on screen, basically long-winded way of asking, you're getting old. How does it feel? Like, why don't you do any work? Was asking and that betting? Yeah. Oh, so insulting. But it was like they were trying to be really...
Starting point is 00:08:29 How do you feel when you watch the grifters and you're nude and you look so amazing? And she said, she was like, I think I get swept away by a story when I'm not thinking about the work that the actor has had done. And I wanna be honest, play honest characters who are able to express everything.
Starting point is 00:08:46 And so I actively don't do any of that stuff because I really want it. Well, that's the thing when you're playing a character, how many characters can really afford to get plastic, that much plastic surgery? I always think about it during shows because then you're going, okay, either this character got like a full face lift.
Starting point is 00:09:00 Well, it's like, I think about the joke that Jim Gaffigan has a lot about, he was watching. Hot pockets. Yeah, hot pockets lot about. He was watching. Hot pockets. Yeah, hot pockets. Definitely. Trump is bad. No, about how I think he was watching Monsters Ball and he's like, well, why don't you just move to LA and be a model?
Starting point is 00:09:15 Like you could be the next Halle Berry. I remember that. And it's like, that's right. You know, it's the plastic surgery thing is really tough because I, you know, I think like we judge it as a society, we judge it so harshly. We demand it, but then we judge it so harshly. That's what's so fucked up because it's like everyone is expected to do it. And then we're like, why'd you do it?
Starting point is 00:09:38 You freak. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's so stupid. I don't know. Should I get it done or what? I think you should. You need it. Wait, have we talked about the swan? Did you ever watch the swan back in the day?
Starting point is 00:09:48 Do you mean, wait. Oh yeah, I watched the swan. It was a reality show. I watched it. Oh my God, Paul. So defensive. Paul. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I watched it.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Because it feels like Scott would have watched it. It was a reality show where the- I remember. Oh, you know. I studiously avoided that show. I did not want to see that. Oh my God, I watched this and I couldn't believe it, but it was about people who,
Starting point is 00:10:06 if anyone out there hasn't seen it, regular people, they wanted to change themselves. They would be going to a hotel for like six months or something and leave their family and they would do head to toe surgery, everything they wanted, any little thing. They'd have 100 things done. And then when they come out at the end,
Starting point is 00:10:25 they reveal at the end, like the biggest loser kind of thing. And they look totally different. And their whole family is like, who the fuck are you? It's like, it's insane. That's horrible. It's so weird. I wanna know where are they now on all of those people.
Starting point is 00:10:36 On every swan. I want you to write this or produce it, direct it. All right, all right, all right. This should be your next year. My whole year? Yes. Tracking these people down. Tracking everyone down. My whole year? Yes. Tracking these people down? Tracking everyone down.
Starting point is 00:10:46 My whole year. I mean, it's not weirder than like, Paul Shear and Gillian doing the Marvel documentaries. What's that? They have the Marvel 616 on Disney Plus. Oh, I saw him post about that. It's an understand what was happening. Well, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:00 It was in Alice and Bray, like interesting people. And they, well, I don't want to tell tales out of school, but someone I know was asked to do one. And then the pandemic hit and it was a bummer because they couldn't do one, but. So what do you mean do one? Ooh, scandalous. What do you mean do one?
Starting point is 00:11:14 Make one of the episodes, make one of the documentaries. Oh, each episode is about a different. It's a different, yeah. Go away, but it's people that you maybe wouldn't think would be into doing that sort of thing. Oh What based on the names that you just said? Oh well Paul. I'm like After Paul come on man. Come on. Oh you mean gilly you got to work with me here Okay, we can't play this game. Sorry. We can't play this game. It's just trying to be cool
Starting point is 00:11:46 You are cool already. You don't need to try. Should I smoke? You don't, you should. Okay. Indors? You smoke indoors? In restaurants? Smoke all around the town. What's the closest you've come to doing crack? Whoa! I will say I came close.
Starting point is 00:11:59 What? I like this type of question. My God, that was like you've been dying to ask it. You're gonna say should I smoke? And then I was gonna say you should smoke crack My God, that was like you've been dying to ask it. No, because if I smoke, and I was gonna say you should smoke crack, and then I was like. What's the closest you've come? I came,
Starting point is 00:12:12 I didn't even come close to doing it, but my friends, when I was 18, we went to a bar and my good friends came out of the bathroom and he had done some cocaine in the bathroom, and I was scandalizedized and I was like, but then that maybe- Remember how we all think cocaine is bad
Starting point is 00:12:29 and then people said we're squares? Yes. Shut the fuck up. But that was like- I'd rather be square than be some annoying asshole on cocaine. I know, cocaine is annoying and people, everyone who does coke sucks. But I think he was kind of like, Hey, do you want to do some?
Starting point is 00:12:48 And that was the closest. And I was like, no, no, thank you. And that was the closest I ever came to doing cocaine. I don't think I've ever come close to smoking crack. I don't think it's ever been near it. I find a crack pipe once. I may have been near it. I'm not sure. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:13:03 When you found a crack pipe. Yeah. Where? In, nothing stands out. You found a crack pipe? Yeah. Where? In your mouth. My, I found it in my mouth and I was like, ooh. I woke up. When I was a kid, my dad was rehabbing an apartment building and we went to,
Starting point is 00:13:16 my brother and I went to- The apartment was on crack? Yeah. My brother and I went to help, like rip out carpet and do some stuff. And then we moved in oven and there were like all these crack pipes behind it. Wow.
Starting point is 00:13:29 Behind the oven. I guess it's a good place to hide things that you're never gonna need again. Behind the oven. Maybe you dropped it while you're trying to light it? I think they were throwing them back there, whatever it was. Maybe it wasn't a crack pipe,
Starting point is 00:13:41 that's what I thought it was. I mean, it was like little glass. I remember the first time I saw a bong and I think I mentioned this, that my brother kept his in the garage, in like a shoe box in the garage, in a bunch of junk. Oh yeah, because your parents were such snoops. Yeah, but I saw it and was like,
Starting point is 00:13:57 whoa, what is this? What do you do with it? Sounds like you already knew. Whoa, this is fucking trippy. Freedom rock, whoa. Turn it up. Sounds like you already knew The first time I ever saw a bong was I was visiting my sister here in Los Angeles For she moved out here for a long she lived here for The Olympics man, I want to say like I just remember remember... She was a different person. A little under 10 years. Yeah, a little under 10 years.
Starting point is 00:14:27 Wow. So... And I visited her. She lived in Redondo Beach. With the surveys? Yeah. She lived in Redondo? Yes, I came out here.
Starting point is 00:14:35 The Olympics were happening. With that torch that went right by my house? That's exactly right, Sam. Wow. Wow. I went to the Improv, the world famous Hollywood Improv. I saw her Cineal Hall when he was still a stand up. Whoa!
Starting point is 00:14:48 Rick Overton when he was still on Coke. Did you want to be a stand up yet or no? I didn't have that idea of completely formed in my head. I knew that I, it was weird. Did this help you? You liked comedy. I loved comedy. I wanted to be part of it.
Starting point is 00:15:01 I had no idea how to do that or that could be a job. Yeah. I was two years away from starting stand up. And I didn't know. That's so funny. But that must have been an informative moment for you. It was. I went to the Groundlings. I saw Phil Hartman. Wow. It's amazing. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. In 84. Wow.
Starting point is 00:15:17 Do you remember a character he did? Yes. They did. Well, it was this, he did the same character for the whole show as a Chick Hazard mystery. He did this detective character, like a Philip Marlowe type guy. And I guess it was one of his ground links characters. And so they did like an improvised mystery show. And it was amazing. I was blown away by it.
Starting point is 00:15:36 Wow, yeah, I'm sure. Incredible. But I went to a little gathering. My sister took me to gathering of her friends. And I was at this house, and there was a little bong on the table, and I didn't know what it was. And I picked it up and I turned it over to look at it.
Starting point is 00:15:55 I didn't realize, I did not realize there was water in it. How old were you at this point? I was 15. And I spilled bong water on the carpet. Oh my God. Straight out of a no doubt song. As I was turning it, the people whose house was running,
Starting point is 00:16:08 no, no, no, no, no. Bathwater. Oh man. It was too late. That's funny. Yeah. On the carpet, were they able to get it, the smell out or anything?
Starting point is 00:16:15 Not that night, but I was mortified. It's like when Woody Allen sneezes into the Coke. Remember when Woody Allen, he goes to Los Angeles, the worst place in the world, and he sneezes. I don't want to move to a place where turning right on a red light is the only cultural... Oh, you almost had it. I don't remember.
Starting point is 00:16:35 No, it's so close. I just said this gross memory because I think the first time I saw a bong, yeah, it was from that, was my friend's brothers. But aside from that, I remember I went to their house once and I was in middle school and I went to the bathroom. This is so gross. You go into the bathroom? I agree. Hold it. There was like a pile of pubes in the toilet. Oh, a pile. A pile. Like they'd been shaved off or plucked out. Like now I would understand.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Why would that determine whether or not they were in a pile? But when I was a kid, I didn't understand how they got there. Like I just like didn't get why they were there. Someone carried them. It was so gross. Like Jesus on the beach. That's right. There was a ride.
Starting point is 00:17:22 There was only one set of pubes. That's what I carried you. What's the closest you've come to doing crack? Yeah. No, I mean, no, no, not at all. Yeah. Your parents listened to the show. Your parents listened to the show.
Starting point is 00:17:35 I bet it was every day on the wrong missy, am I right? That movie was crazy. We were doing crack just to get me here. We've talked about drugs and how we're not. Wait, didn't Oprah smoke crack? Whoa, really? No way. She had an episode for a show?
Starting point is 00:17:55 On an episode? Yeah. On an episode. I'm googling that. It's like this is one of my favorite things. It's one of my favorite things. To smoke crack. There's no way she did that.
Starting point is 00:18:03 I swear to God. Oh my God, she, wait, hold on. Look up Oprah, crack, and then parentheses, not but. She admits to cocaine abuse. Oh. She smoked cocaine, which is crack. That's right. But Oprah admits using crack, cocaine.
Starting point is 00:18:19 I can't believe I knew something about Oprah that you did not know. Me neither. Oh my God, she broke down during a taping of her show in 95, hold on, wait, the article just disappeared when I'm reading it. She smoked it before the show or during the early part of the show? Oh my God, there's a technical problem
Starting point is 00:18:34 on this fake website. Every episode is the first 10 minutes. So anyway, she in 9.95. She smoked crack with the audience, then they turned the cameras on. Here you go. I'm telling you, everyone in the audience. Do we get some crack?
Starting point is 00:18:44 Everybody's getting crack out? You know what I bet you? I bet you $100, she's had this removed from the internet. Every link I click doesn't work. Whoa. Wow. Do you guys, have you seen that commercial about the job interview that's like happening over Zoom
Starting point is 00:19:02 or something? And then it comes in media res. Okay, I got one to work. Maybe I'm wrong. And the woman says, okay, well, this interview's gone really well, but I have one question to ask you. I've looked you up on the internet and some interesting things came up.
Starting point is 00:19:23 And then the guy goes, all of that is still on the internet? Oh, that was so long ago. And it's a commercial for like scrubbing the internet of your weird shit that you have. Like all the controversial shit. It should be possible to get things erased. I mean, it's such a fucked up thing. I think what this service does is like,
Starting point is 00:19:42 it starts enough websites about you. You think everything ever should be up there? Yes, okay It starts enough websites about you that have like Certain reasons why they would come up earlier in a Google search so that shit gets like put down Oh, right. They bury it. Yeah, like a dog Really quickly with those circles on the sticks are I wouldn't tell me really really Scott are you pregnant?
Starting point is 00:20:11 What does that mean? It's a circle you're pregnant you pee on the stick. I can't see what you guys Why do I know all the things? Circle it's lines. What you want me to get up off my? There's different kinds. Well, here we are. Ha ha ha ha ha. What are those? I can't see.
Starting point is 00:20:30 What do you mean? You can't see those circles on the stick? Can you see them? I also can't. Get up. No! I don't take orders from the likes of you. I'm gonna take a zoomed in picture.
Starting point is 00:20:39 You're not my fucking mom. Shut the fuck up. You're not my god? You're not my father? I'm sending you a picture of it, even though you're right there. Well, yeah, I would have to walk so far to peer around the wall that is in my way
Starting point is 00:20:55 and not in you guys' way. So far, by the way, is three feet. Do you know it was nice that they nicknamed him Bagel Boss instead of Bagel Boy? Because they easily could have, the Bagel Boss. Who's that? Who's the Bagel Boss instead of Bagel Boy because they easily could have the Bagel Boss. Who's that? Who's the Bagel Boss? He's a little man who got very angry at a bagel shop and he said to someone, you're not my father, you're not my boss and you're not God. That guy was so insane. I don't know what you're talking about when you sent me this picture. What are you talking
Starting point is 00:21:19 about? I want to jump into the pool. I seriously don't ask the question again. I don't know what you're talking about when you send me this picture. There are two vegetables or fruits or something growing on the street, but they're really far apart from each other. There's only two, and I'm like, what is this? Yeah, there are neighbors. I don't know, I don't give a shit.
Starting point is 00:21:34 Well, what is it? Maybe it's like a pomegranate? I don't know. This picture did not help, by the way. Yeah, I know. So why get mad at me? Because I don't know when you send me a thing. Also, when you take pictures and I could you do landscape?
Starting point is 00:21:47 Yeah, I post. Who would you mind? Landscape. Yeah. Do you know what that is? Of course I do. But what do you care? Well, because it may it it's easier to post a bunch of. Oh, you're going to post it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:01 Take it. Please take a new one of this thing. That was no help at all to anyone. What if this makes the difference? Oh, that's true. I don't know. Cool up, actually. I asked her, she knows what they are. Cool up.
Starting point is 00:22:15 V-Lysox. Oh, yes. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I asked her, she said, oh, it's whatever these are. There are neighbors, though, and the end. So she said, whatever these are, there are neighbors, though. They're probably pomegranates. I don't know. Is this interesting to anyone? It might not be. What fruit? There are neighbors though and so she said whatever these are there are Interesting to anyone what fruit my neighbor has what fruits my neighbor
Starting point is 00:22:39 Is it and the same to have been there for a long time so I just got a lot of questions Oh fucking nosy about my name. I can see Like Jessica Fletcher over here. Who's that? Murder she wrote. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Oh. Murder she wrote, murder she wrote, murder she wrote.
Starting point is 00:22:56 Murder she wrote. Murder she wrote. Where's Doug Benson when we need him? Ice cream. Ice cream. Oh my god, we need to take a break. We'll be right back. Hi, welcome back.
Starting point is 00:23:18 Hi. And during the break, we were talking about the Fresh Prince reunion. And Paul has not seen it and Lauren and I did see it. Why did you lie? It was during a break. It was during a break.
Starting point is 00:23:33 It was the break of all time. It was a break. It was a break that I'm referring to. It was a break of all time leading up to starting. We were on a break. What fruit my neighbors have. But Paul's never seen Fresh Prince. Neither have I. I'm so surprised. starting. What fruit my neighbors have. But I've never seen a full episode of the Fresh Prince. Neither have I.
Starting point is 00:23:49 I'm so surprised by that. It was a little after my time, you know? But it feels like it would have like, I don't know, ended up on TV at some point. Helicopter, helicopter, helicopter. Wait, was it on TV? He's looking for someone. He's looking for someone.
Starting point is 00:24:02 He's looking for someone. Helicopter. I just feel like it would have been on. Like I feel like I've seen a lot of things He's looking for someone, he's looking for someone, he's looking for someone, a helicopter. I just feel like it would have been on. Like I feel like I've seen a lot of things that I don't care about. You're absolutely right, because there was a time when I first moved here after I was between jobs. So it was after Mr. Show, but during a deep depression.
Starting point is 00:24:23 And I was... Was that connected? This was before DAG. Probably. It might have been post-DAG, I don't remember, but I remember watching... Should I watch all of DAG? You could knock it out in a day and a half.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Yeah. All right. You could knock it out in a day. How many seasons was it? It was one season, 13 episodes. Oh, you could knock it out in... 13 and a half hours? Four hours.
Starting point is 00:24:42 13 and a half hours. Oh yeah, that's half hours, that's right. Oh. You could do it in a day, yeah. I'm gonna knock it out. Yeah, yeah, that's half hours. That's right Yeah, I'm gonna knock it out. Yeah, I have them all on VHS. Oh I was watching on Maybe the USA Network Yeah, a They would have like a block of four sitcoms It was four sitcoms that did not last.
Starting point is 00:25:05 It was Working, The Single Guy, Boston Common, and I can't remember the fourth one. What was Working? Well, Arden was on Working. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. She's friend of that. She's friend of that. That was when we all first got to know her.
Starting point is 00:25:18 That was awesome. Danny Hould was on that show. Mike loved that show, so when I became friends with Arden, he was like, oh my God, I love working. That was a good show. I remember it started as a regular sitcom and then got like meta a few episodes in and it was really funny, right?
Starting point is 00:25:30 Dana Gould talks about that show because he was on it for a while. He brought an Art in and around, which is how we know. That's how they're friends, yeah. His character did not make any sense from episode to episode. Like one week he would be super smart, the next week he'd be super dumb.
Starting point is 00:25:44 Like there was zero consistency. That sounds like Dana. That's pretty fun. You know what, you're right, you're right. They're just writing to his strengths. But I remember watching those shows and not enjoying them and feeling very bad. Boston Common, I remember that show.
Starting point is 00:25:59 Anthony Clark, Zach Elefnakis. That's right. Wait, really? Yeah. Wow, I didn't know that. Your old co-star. My old friend. Wait, really? Yeah. Wow, I didn't know that. Your old co-star. My old friend. Is that so nice?
Starting point is 00:26:09 I'm wearing his jacket right now. I'm wearing his underwear. I'm him. Yep. He was such a good person to work with, he's so funny. We were talking about the first prince because... We must talk about the first prince. The Oh! We must talk about the first prince. The reunion special was on and it was so good.
Starting point is 00:26:28 We mentioned that there was bad blood and Paul went, what? So the bad blood was... And so we were gonna explain it to him on night out. That there was... They had a character, Ant-Viv. Like a child, like he's a child. Do you know the premise of the show?
Starting point is 00:26:42 Yes. In West Philadelphia... West Philadelphia's born and raised. So you of course have to know that because you're from Philadelphia. I feel like that must have been a thing. That's right. So Aunt Viv, he goes to live with Aunt Viv and Uncle Phil,
Starting point is 00:26:53 but Aunt Viv gets replaced. Right. Honestly. Three seasons in. Not even that many, wasn't it? I thought it was. I think it was after the third, but it went six or something like that?
Starting point is 00:27:02 I'm not sure. I thought it might have been even earlier. But she's, but the original Viv, for anyone who grew up watching that show is the Viv. You know what I mean? Like you just, she's amazing. Original Viv? And new Viv perfectly fine.
Starting point is 00:27:14 Fine. But just doesn't have what old Viv has. Exactly. And there was like a whole, apparently, behind the scenes drama with her. And then kind of ended up being that she got sort of like blacklisted and sort of seen as crazy or too difficult to work with.
Starting point is 00:27:31 Too difficult and then she wrote about him in her book and what if he's a shitty is. And she also had like a pretty outrageous, she had like a pretty crazy YouTube thing a couple of years ago that was like a rant about this whole thing. But then he. And it was an unboxing video, which was- So how she went to the suicide forest and saw the-
Starting point is 00:27:47 Oh my God. That was so horrible. But Will sits down with the actress in this special. So they have the whole cast. So they have the whole cast, they have the whole cast there on set and they like do a whole thing and it's really sweet. And then he separately speaks to the first Aunt Vivian
Starting point is 00:28:04 and they have this really nice conversation. And she basically says like, you made it so that like I couldn't work. And, but then I think he was like a teenager. He had never done anything. It was like his first thing. And it was so, he was mouthing the lines of his costar. It's like, wasn't some expert.
Starting point is 00:28:20 To his credit, he took, he sat there and took it and took responsibility and said, I was young. I was scared all the time. I, and apologized. Like he did it really well and we were saying. And she explained, oh, I want to hear what you're going to say, but she explained that for the first time that. Because it's about the Fresh Prince,
Starting point is 00:28:38 something you're actually interested in. She was, I know I'm not actually a carer. She explained that she was like really depressing and then abuse of relationship. and she had recently had a baby and she was going through all this really hard stuff. And so she might've been not fun to be around, but she didn't really talk to anyone. But no one like asked her about it and said like,
Starting point is 00:28:55 hey, is everything okay? They just kind of like, she was acting weird and different. And so they ostracized her and fired her. That's honestly a question that people don't ask on sets. Yeah, or during this podcast. You know what I mean? Like...
Starting point is 00:29:09 Are you okay? No. We can't tell the truth. We can't get into that. But so what were you going to say that Will Smith, he's been... He's something about Jada, you were going to say. Oh, well, just that Coolop told me that he's in these like YouTube therapy videos with Jada. Red Table Talk, amazing.
Starting point is 00:29:24 He has to sit there and... Oh wait, sorry. These are the same thing. Cause she has this show. Red Table Talk is really great. It's three generations of women in the family talking about issues and they seem to have guests on. And then they had Will on and they did a sort of
Starting point is 00:29:37 big fucking moment where they talked about their, all these rumors about their marriage. Right. And they addressed all this stuff. And it was... Talked about her infidelity they addressed all this stuff. And it was- Talked about her infidelity, right? Her infidelity. And it was kind of, he was not letting her
Starting point is 00:29:49 off the hook with some of it, in my opinion, which I didn't like, cause I was like, dude, we don't have to show us this. You should have let her off the hook about it. We know how you treat a man through it. Well, they worked through it. Oh, okay. Like they had already gone,
Starting point is 00:30:00 they already dealt with this for many years. Like, and then I felt like he was letting her keep apologizing, keep saying what she did wrong. Right. Which they had indicated that that had already taken place. I think that if there's infidelity in a marriage, the responsible party should apologize once, the other person has to accept it,
Starting point is 00:30:19 and then it's never brought up again. That seems like it'd be way better. But I don't know if their therapy thing is a separate thing. Oh, I don't know anyway, but, but, but he, he, Coolop was saying like, oh, he obviously has like gone through some work in that regard because he like sat there
Starting point is 00:30:36 and took it pretty much in a responsible way. He didn't take all the responsibility, which I thought was kind of like, if you're the superstar, maybe you take a hundred percent of the responsibility. For the ant-viv stuff? Yes, you know what I mean? Like, if you're like,
Starting point is 00:30:51 if you're worth a hundred million, $200, $500 million. And she hasn't worked, maybe accept every bit of the responsibility. Well, especially if you were, if you were essentially a kid who's shopped to fame practically overnight, like I think you as a grown man, you can then say, yeah, I didn't know what I was doing. I was an
Starting point is 00:31:12 asshole and I'm sorry. Which he did. He definitely did. I just- But part of that conversation is not, but you have to admit you did this. To be fair, he- Well then what are you talking about? He didn't do that. I just think that he allowed her to take some of the responsibility when she was talking and he never stepped in and said, no, no, no, no, don't take, it's not you. I deserve all the blame.
Starting point is 00:31:37 And when you watch the old episodes with her, she's honestly so fucking good. She's like a really great actor. She's a great dancer. She does like amazing stuff on the show. She's fucking hilarious. Let's replace you. Okay, bye.
Starting point is 00:31:53 You know what's funny? Like I've worked with people who are miserable. I just was gone and she just. She steps in and everyone's like, the first Lord was so much better. I've worked with people who have been like the star of a thing that have been miserable to work with when everybody else was having a good time.
Starting point is 00:32:14 You know? And it's funny that even knowing like later or even like people were hypothesizing at the time like this person is going through something clearly, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And it's like, but it also feels like it's not the place of the people who are subordinate to say to the person who has all the power, are you okay? You know what I mean? No, it's tough when you're in charge of a thing like the comedy bang bang show.
Starting point is 00:32:46 You are ostensibly everyone's boss, although I didn't have hiring or firing power. That was the production company. But yeah, you're ostensibly everyone's boss. You're right, no one can come up to you and go like, is everything okay? And you're under in production, but maybe that's just like any job.
Starting point is 00:33:05 You're under such a results oriented schedule of like you have to get this done. Otherwise all of these millions of dollars are wasted. It feels like it's on the peer. In your case, there wasn't really someone who was doing the same things as you, but like if there was an actor and another actor could say, are you okay? You can address it because it's like the only person who could really say that.
Starting point is 00:33:29 Yes, and it could be that the producer of the show asked if he was okay. Like I don't know, you know, but it was, I also feel like if you are that person, and I've been the person who is ostensibly in charge at times, and look, I get frustrated and I can shut down and stuff like that, but I'm also the type of person that can say, hey everybody, I'm sorry, I'm having a hard time with this. You know what I mean? Like that-
Starting point is 00:33:56 Yeah, I call it out. That makes a, somebody can just acknowledge a thing and say, I know this is a drag, I know I'm being a drag right now, I'm just having a hard time with this thing, getting this to work, you know, whatever it is, but to just not acknowledge, to be miserable every day,
Starting point is 00:34:14 you know, without any acknowledgement of it. But I do think. When everyone else is not miserable, it's like. But I do think when you're going through something personal, it's different than being like, oh, I'm frustrated with this task that we can't accomplish. Of course, absolutely. It's like, you don't wanna say say it because then it's like, what?
Starting point is 00:34:26 I'm going to do cry and everyone's going to know. And everyone on the crew knows? No, there should be like, there should be one friend on every set like that they hire. They get hired? And that you that... Like a sort of entourage, if you will. Sure. Vinny had it right?
Starting point is 00:34:41 Vinny had it right. He was, there was no drama in his life because he had three bros to talk to. There was one drama in his life. There was one drama. That's true. Literally was. I remember, I stopped watching that show
Starting point is 00:34:52 and then my wife continued to watch it. And there was an episode where apparently Vinny Chase was supposed to be addicted to cocaine. He has a real downfall. Yeah. But there was one interesting season where he went through some struggles and then they were like, I was watching. He has a real downfall. Yeah. There was one interesting season where he went through some struggles and then they were like,
Starting point is 00:35:07 I can't do that anymore. It was fun just to watch him have a good time and not be all depressed. But I was watching this particular episode. He was on the Tonight Show or something. And supposedly, Jay? And then he fucks someone in the bathroom
Starting point is 00:35:21 or in the dressing room. On the show, it's supposedly going very poorly, and it's like, he's the exact same. He's not any different. He's not any different. Yeah, he was fine. It was so weird. Like when she told me, yeah, he's on coke and he's fucking up his life. I'm like, he seems exactly the same as the last time I saw the show.
Starting point is 00:35:41 Well, maybe it's not the fault of the writing. I'm not blaming the writing. Oh my God. How dare you? How dare you, sir? How dare you? We got to take a break. No, we don't.
Starting point is 00:35:55 No, but I think you're right. I think that in every job, in every job, we could all reach out to our coworkers if they're frustrated and just say, hey, everything going okay? Yeah. And just see what comes out. Showbiz is the only job where you can get away with that. Where you can be like an unpleasant person.
Starting point is 00:36:17 Oh, well. I don't know. Other jobs, you have to be like the boss. Do you know what I mean? Or you have to be unpleasant the boss. Do you know what I mean? Or you have to be unpleasant to somebody who's a lateral. Well, what about in hospitals, like doctors to nurses and stuff?
Starting point is 00:36:31 Like that's the- Well, they have a God complex. True. I am God. I am God. But I feel like you can't- Nicole Kidman, nice. You can't be a mean doctor.
Starting point is 00:36:44 You have to be the good doctor. Dr. Sean Murphy. No, but yeah, I mean, nurses are always, it feels very... I forgot that you know his thing. I watched a lot of that show. Very similar to show business to me of like, there's a hierarchy and where the doctors are kind of like the stars of the show and they get to treat anyone. There's an operating theater.
Starting point is 00:37:05 Yes, and there are PAs. A little show, yep. I find the term PA confusing because it is used for so many different things. Yeah, yeah. Personal assistant. Sure. Public address.
Starting point is 00:37:21 Yes. PAW. Peer approved. What is it? Wait, physician's assistant. Yes. Paw. Peer approved. Phys, what is it? Wait, Physician's assistant. Okay. And then other things. What's a PA on a set for? Piss ass. Piss ass. We're gonna need to hire three piss asses.
Starting point is 00:37:41 It would be so funny to train someone coming up in show business. Mom, dad, I got a job. As they're a PA. I'm a piss ass. It would be so funny to train someone coming up in show business. Mom, dad, I got a job. As they're a PA. I'm a piss ass. When they're like, For the good doctor. If someone ever asks.
Starting point is 00:37:52 So you hire a bunch of PAs and they don't know anything about show business and you tell them that PA stands for piss ass and they go through their entire career thinking it's piss ass and then they start calling PAs piss ass. Like I was a piss ass for like five years. I worked my way up. Oh, that would be so great. I want to have another show just so I could do that. No.
Starting point is 00:38:14 Just for that reason. To make people call themselves a piss ass? Yes. That's the only reason you want to work as a... No, you're not the good doctor. I don't think you should have a show. What? If that's the way you're going to be, you shouldn't have a show. If that's the way you're going don't think you should have a show. What? If that's what you're going to be, you should never show.
Starting point is 00:38:27 If that's what you're going to be, you should never show. If that's the way you're going to be, you should never show. Shouldn't every person have a TV show at least one? Yeah, at least one. Absolutely. You know what I mean? At least one. I want to see what my mailman would do with a full 30.
Starting point is 00:38:46 It would be fun to like every single person in the world gets one shot at a pilot presentation. Wow. Like a 300 grand budget and every single person. And there would be some. That wouldn't be a waste of resources at all. And the government, the government pays for it. And it's from our taxes. It's like how it is real. Everyone has to go into the army at some point. of reasons at all. And the government pays for it and...
Starting point is 00:39:05 It's like how it is real. Everyone has to go into the army at some point. And in America, everyone at some point has to do a pilot project. In terms of your how from our taxes this would work. You can do it at any point in your life. Yes. So if you do it when you're four,
Starting point is 00:39:16 you've ruined your chance. You've ruined your shot. Yeah. Or maybe you've been like that kid. Ryan who unboxes toys. Unboxes toys. Why did I know who you were gonna say? And makes millions and millions of dollars.
Starting point is 00:39:26 I know, that kid's rich as fuck. And they're trying to shoot as many as they could. My friend was doing, was working on that show and they were. Has he ever unboxed just like a ball? I think it's usually a lot more exciting than that. Is that what he's doing? They were trying to do a bunch.
Starting point is 00:39:40 Probably. In a row because he was getting older. But they were having all these celebrities on. Like Dave Grohl was on it and stuff. Jesus. Probably. You know, Ro because he was getting older, but they were having all these celebrities on. Like Dave Grohl was on it and stuff. Jesus. Because everyone's kids like the YouTube. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:50 You know, the two young guys who listened to songs they've never heard before? Oh, I like those guys. Did you see when they had Barack Obama? That was really cute. I did not see it, but have they really, some of these songs, I'm like, you've never heard this? Well, isn't it the case that one of them maybe has heard it and brings it to the other?
Starting point is 00:40:06 I don't know. But they also get requests. So it's like Phil Collins in the air tonight. That one was the best. You can see a world where you're like, they're 15. They've never heard that before. Is there ever? Yeah, once.
Starting point is 00:40:17 I didn't say they'd never heard of any song. But Scott, you're trying to put words in my mouth. But I do think the concept is really. You're not the good doctor. It's very cute. It's a very cute concept, but it's like, this should be one video max. I know, but everyone wants to monetize every fun thing they've ever done. It's so true. I do too.
Starting point is 00:40:35 So, every person gets one show and you can save it until you really feel like you have a good idea. But if you die before you get to do it, you have to donate your money to a cause you don't like. So it kind of gives you this sort of impetus. So like what cause don't you like? A cause you don't like. Anti-abortion.
Starting point is 00:40:57 Yeah, something you're against. And then you then, so you know, I better get this done. I have to get this done. The clock is ticking. And so you kind of, some people do squander it early. I have to get this done. So the clock is ticking. The clock is ticking. And so you kind of, some people do squander it early. I don't care about PETA. I have to get this done before they give my money to PETA. So like if you're a make-a-wish child, you know the time is running out, so you got to
Starting point is 00:41:17 make your show. Make-a-wish child? If you're a make-a-wish child, your pilot is, yeah, it's just like anyone else. I mean like you have, your wish is separate of that. Sure, no, you get your wish. Okay, so let's really break it down for the make and wish. Hold on a second. What if your make a wish is to not make the presentation
Starting point is 00:41:33 and keep the money? Whoa. That only works once. Wait, once in your life? One kid. And whoever thinks of it first. And then they do the make and wish clause. Yeah, and then they do that We had to make a wish class
Starting point is 00:41:48 Exactly, and if and if that kid dies then another kid turns into that kid. Oh, this is good Oh, I love that. So it's what freaky Friday. No, it's the make-a-wish clause Because the one kid is dead they don't trade places Yeah, yeah, but Cause the one kid is dead. They don't trade places. Yeah. Yeah, but to put you into that debate. Wait, how am I dead? But are they going to be him? They're going to be him.
Starting point is 00:42:11 So what does that mean for the... Are they going to be? But that is essentially trading places because... Now what's the closest you can to smoking crack? Trading places. Suddenly. Paul, if you were dead and I traded places with you you then I'd be you and then I'd be dead because They're in hell
Starting point is 00:42:43 And a sinner I was just working with Jonathan Silverman and I was the single guy, the single most of guys. And I was talking to him about something and then I asked him, was this a Biloxi Blues reboot? Wait, why can't I think of the guy's name from? Oh, Andrew McCarthy. And we were talking about him and then I said, do you know him? And then he said, yeah, we did a movie back in the day. I went, oh, what was the movie?
Starting point is 00:43:09 I just was talking. I wasn't thinking, and he's like, it was this movie where we were like carried around and dead guy. I was like, we get a birdie! We get a birdie! We get a birdie! It's a birdie!
Starting point is 00:43:17 It's a birdie! I was like, I can't believe I made you walk around that. When of course I know what that is. It was a movie where we carried around a dead guy. Well, because he thought I didn't know because I had been saying, I asked an obvious question. Right, yeah. And then it would imply that I've never seen that. Well, is it bad that I, until you just said it,
Starting point is 00:43:35 I wouldn't have even have been able to say who the stars of Weekend Aburman were. I don't put him with that. And he was like, that's totally fine. I just, honestly, I always picture just Bernie. When you work with that movie. Yeah, me too. And they're into like shadow weeping.
Starting point is 00:43:46 And they were like 19 years next to him. Him and Andrew are back and they were like 19 years old or something. Yeah. Did they make three of those? They definitely made two. I know they made two. I don't think they made a third.
Starting point is 00:43:56 If there was a third, it was like a direct to video sequel that those guys weren't in. Do you want me to look it up? Look it up, Scotty. Look it up. I want to, Scotty. Look it up. I want to say he's a really great guy. He's very fun. Look it up.
Starting point is 00:44:09 We're on Good Girls. Look it up, Scotty. Look it up. I'm looking at Weekend at Bernie's franchise. Look up Weekend at Bernie. I'm looking to franchise the Weekend at Bernie's. Would you like to have a Week weekend at Bernie's at your house? Hi, Mario Perillo here.
Starting point is 00:44:29 Everyone has a special anniversary coming up. Would you like to have a weekend at Bernie's, a night at your anniversary party where a dead man sits there and toasts you and you think he's alive but he really is dead but wearing sunglasses? Weekend at Bernie's too is the only thing that's coming up here. All right. They did not take a third bite at the apple. They did not. It was a modest success,
Starting point is 00:44:49 grossing $12.7 million against a $7 million budget. Ha ha ha ha ha. Wait. Do they say anything about sequel? Nope, they don't. That's so interesting. Andrew McCarthy, I couldn't even tell you that he ever did anything other than pretty and pink.
Starting point is 00:45:07 He's done a million things. So a lot of stuff. And that Fresh Horses movie. He's part of the Brut Pack. Yeah. And he directs a lot now. Does he? He directed Orange's New Black episode I was in.
Starting point is 00:45:17 And he... Wait, you've worked with both of the week at the Brut? Yes! Both of the Bernie Bros. Both of the Bernie Bros. Yes. Wow. The original Bernie Bros. Were of the Bernie Bros. Yes. Wow.
Starting point is 00:45:26 The original Bernie Bros. Were they obnoxious on the internet? No. That's blown out of proportion. Have you ever worked with Terry Kaiser, the titular Bernie? The Bernie, yeah. No, but you know, I always think it's like Richard Dreyfus. Huh.
Starting point is 00:45:41 From Jaws? Yeah. The super big guy? What? The guy from Mr. Holland's Opus? Yes, the titular mr. Holland beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful Is that something that happens we can or know what we get a burnies. He's your Hollins signs beautiful Yes, he sings beautiful boy, but then his son Cole is there and he's beautiful in weekend at Bernie's he sings Beautiful Boy, but then his son Cole is there and he's beautiful.
Starting point is 00:46:03 In Weekend of Bernies? Oh no, Mr. Alan's Opus. Mr. Alan's Opus. So wait, I've never- Mr. Alan's Opus. I've never seen it. He sings Beautiful Boy to his- So in the movie, his son is deaf.
Starting point is 00:46:16 And he finds, first of all, when I was a kid, I was really confused by this movie because they show a scene where they take, he takes his son to a parade and there's these fire trucks going by with really loud sirens and all these kids are crying and his kid is not reacting. He's still just looking at the watch.
Starting point is 00:46:30 But I thought he went deaf from that. I didn't understand it. Oh! Oh! And then... He very calmly went deaf. So this gave you a fear of fire trucks. I just didn't get it.
Starting point is 00:46:42 I just was like, that's the explanation for why he's deaf. And then he said... But is this the first time that Burt... No, what's his name? Mr. Holland figures out that his son is deaf. That's how they initially figured out. Oh, because he's a baby. And he can't say, okay, got it.
Starting point is 00:46:58 And he... It's like shoving his baby. Why aren't you crying? But this is weird. They're good stuff. Are're too good for this. So he, then he's a teacher. By the way, I've only seen this like once and it was 10. Yeah, this is like the 90s or something.
Starting point is 00:47:13 And he's like a professor. He's like a conductor, music guy, orchestra teacher. And then he teaches all these things and then his son grows up. He's a teenager. He teaches all these things. And then he sings beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, cool. When he's a grownup? He's a king.
Starting point is 00:47:31 They're all grownups. I think, I think, I think. That would be lame. I would like to watch that again. I just want rewatched castaway. It's nothing like that. I've been thinking of rewatching that movie. Oh my God, it's so good.
Starting point is 00:47:41 I just saw the last 10 minutes it was on cable. Oh my God, no exaggeration. That's all you've seen of the movie? No, no, no, I've seen, I saw the whole thing in the theater at the Burbank 16. You've only seen the last 10 minutes, like what's the big deal about this movie? You need to rewatch it, it's on HBO Max. I was sobbing at this movie.
Starting point is 00:47:57 Yeah. And it's such a good ending. The end is stupid. I did not, no, I didn't remember it at all, it was so good. The end when he's in the middle, in the fork in the road. That's a little, like, it's a little not amazing. I didn't love it at all. It was so good. The end when he's in the middle, in the fork in the road. That's a little, like, it's a little not amazing. I don't, I didn't love it, but the part with Helen Hunt where he reconnects with her and there's that whole thing.
Starting point is 00:48:11 He reconnects with her, but then he like, finally leaves her to her new life. And then he's literally walks outside of her place and he's at a fork in the road. He's looking around going, That's not how it goes. Going, huh, what do I do now? And some hot chick pulls up and goes,
Starting point is 00:48:23 That's not how it goes. He needs directions, big boy. That's not how it goes. He goes I do now? And some hot chick pulls up and goes, you need directions big boy? He goes, I'll have what she is having. It's so right outside of her house. He has a different day. He walks away and his clothes are too big. He goes to return the package. He just kept him alive this entire time.
Starting point is 00:48:36 Jumping off the piano. And then he sees a woman with the same symbol on her car and she tells, you know, it's actually really beautiful. And they're in a cult. What was the package? What was in the package again? We don't know. We don't know. But it was important.
Starting point is 00:48:48 But he delivers it, right? Yeah, because it had these angel wings on it. So he felt like, I'm not going to open this one. Oh, right, right, right. And then he goes to the place, and the angel wings are everywhere. It's like a big symbol of this place. Right.
Starting point is 00:48:57 Spoilers for Castaway, by the way. Yeah. Yeah, I do want to see that again. And it's also, it's very unique to, in Robert Zemeckis' movies, because it's not a big special effects movie. It's very- There's only one special effects, and that's the human body getting fair.
Starting point is 00:49:14 That's right. And hairier. He spent a year letting his hair grow and getting skinny. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I do miss that era of filmmaking when big event movies didn't have to have like huge concepts. They were just like, you love this guy, he's gonna do something fucking crazy in this movie.
Starting point is 00:49:34 And it being that simple is what makes it so good. Yeah, absolutely. Like he's just this character. And in the beginning, I mean, it's a really fun movie too because I forgot everything about it. And he's like kind of a jerk a bit at his job. He's like really specific about everything. She didn't watch The Jerk.
Starting point is 00:49:50 He's got that ping pong paddle. There's a gas station or something. He has an invention, we glasses, except for one's ice cross. Someone shot motor oil. No, but I mean, remember? But then he realizes like, it's like he's working on the schedule
Starting point is 00:50:02 and life is all about getting packages right on time. And then he's like, nothing to do for four years except stay alive Oh another thing I didn't get that I except jogged my memory of the whole thing with the deaf kid. I Didn't when I was just watching castaway. I kind of didn't get something that was happening and then I a little bit later I was like, oh my god. I'm so stupid. So there's a part where he He like he's at the end of his, you know, I was gonna say rope, but then he has to go get this rope.
Starting point is 00:50:29 So he's trying to, he's trying to off himself. No, but that's, that's not, so I think they edited this also. There's a, there's a trivia that I was looking at that I, Huh? Like since, since it was in theaters. Yeah. Because going to video. Great Kelly Clarks.
Starting point is 00:50:43 Well, I have to look this up again. Since it was in theaters. Yeah, because going to video. Great Kelly Clarks. Well, I have to look this up again. Since it was in theaters. She, okay. What's his name? Tom Hanks. He's talking to Wilson and he's like, I need 50, you know, I need 30 more feet of rope to make this boat to escape. And then he was like, I know where it is, but I don't want to go get it. It's, I know I don't want to go up there again. He climbs up really high.
Starting point is 00:51:03 He pulls up a rope with a perfect noose on it with a big log on it. And in my head, now- He had tried to kill himself with it. Yeah, of course. And he was testing it with this log. But in my head, I go, that's so crazy. He had this, that there was this noose on the island
Starting point is 00:51:21 from like previous people. So what did they cut out? He doesn't ever attempt suicide on video. You just see that he pulls up this. But he didn't in the theater. It implies, oh, okay. I don't think. No, I don't remember him.
Starting point is 00:51:35 I don't remember him. There would have been something cut from the beginning of the, when they shot. Right, and maybe it deleted. That they initially show him about to kill himself. It's weird that the volleyball's name is Wilson and his wife's name is Wilson. My theory is that he needed to be named Wilson because he has such a strong connection with it.
Starting point is 00:51:52 Does he call her Wilson? At home? He called the ball Rita and he calls her Wilson. He calls his balls volunteers. Rita and Wilson. Oh. Also, it's the name of the company sports sports Oh, well, that's why he said it had to be a Wilson ball because every character that he's ever worked with any any
Starting point is 00:52:12 Any character that he becomes close with in a film he has to have either the middle name Wilson or Rita That's right now I'm thinking about that Remember that interview inside the extra studio when he talked about this? Because he feels like he's cheating if he doesn't. It's like a Kirk Cameron thing. What's that? Because he's so religious, he can't kiss other actresses on screen. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:52:37 Is that why he married his co-star? Poor them. His wife. And the public not getting to see him fucking mac on. So his wife will always be, will always double for the kissing scenes. Oh, I know. And the public not getting to see him fucking Mac. So his wife will always be, will always double for the kissing scenes. Oh, so dumb. That's really funny. I watched. I should try to hire her to kiss her on a show and see if she accepts.
Starting point is 00:52:55 And then he has to stand in for you. Yes. Or he stands in for her. And then you're kissing her either. I'll take you there, Ron. I didn't see this loop all coming. We have to take a break. We'll be right back. And we're back.
Starting point is 00:53:22 Lauren has a three chair. I have areacher. This was submitted by Ken Edwards. It's called Celebrity Head. Ken Edwards from the band Failure? Yeah. Awesome. Celebrity Head is basically the game Fastbender explains an inglorious bastards. By the way, little trivia I just read,
Starting point is 00:53:38 which I'm sure you know. Paul Rust is in inglorious bastards. That's a little trivia. I know. I've never seen it, but. Here's a little trivia. I know bastards are spelled incorrectly. But the trivia I know is that...
Starting point is 00:53:47 Also Brad Pitt is in it. He, Quentin Tarantino supposedly, like a script was the lead to where he spelled it wrong. And he claimed he meant to do that. I've heard his scripts are rife with spelling errors. Yes, and he was like, that's an essential... Because both words are spelled wrong.
Starting point is 00:54:02 Right. I believe he didn't know how to spell those words. That's what I think. OK. Yeah. Everybody is someone we all know. Boy, that's the truth. Could be a real live person or fictional fictional character, as long as they're fairly ubiquitous. Each player is assigned their celebrity by the person to their left.
Starting point is 00:54:18 It's a secret. Usually you write it on a post it and put it on the player's forehead. Then everybody takes turns asking yes or no questions about who they are. Nobody can ask the same question as someone else did per rotation. For instance, if Lauren asks, am I a boy? And then Scott asks, am I a girl? Paul will have to wait until the next rotation to ask about his character's gender if that's what he is curious about.
Starting point is 00:54:38 First person to guess correctly wins, but your guess is your question. So don't waste a round unless you have an educated guess. My friends and I usually keep playing until everyone has guessed there is an offer hints after a while. Thanks, three dim boys. Okay, so how should we do it since we don't wanna do post-its on our heads, obviously?
Starting point is 00:54:53 We should just like, oh, and we can't get near each other. Should we text each other? Yeah, let's text each other. Okay, so it's clockwise. Technology, just like fastbender did in Gloria's Baptist. Yes. I'll text Scott.
Starting point is 00:55:04 And I'll text Paul. And I'll text Paul. And I'll text Lauren. Wait, if you're asking am I whatever, you know what I this. You know why that is. No, no, no, you're texting who I am. I'm texting Paul who he is. Paul's texting you who you are.
Starting point is 00:55:21 And we have to guess who you are. And we have to guess who we are. But I'm telling you who you are. What we have to guess who we are. Like, but I'm telling you who you are. Uh, what am I texting you? Oh, that's right. Wait. Who are we? Read the rules again. Who are we telling the person to your left? To your leftward. But see, I think what it should be is you're okay. You're to your, I see your, in my head, I know who you are and you're telling Paul who I am. And meanwhile.
Starting point is 00:55:45 Got it. Okay, yeah. So I'll tell Paul, Scott is so and so. Yeah, and I'll tell you Paul is so and so. Okay. And Lauren, I'll tell you that I am so and so. What? This didn't work out.
Starting point is 00:55:58 So, Scott is. Okay, so it's gotta be someone ubiquitous. Okay, got it. Gotta be ubiquitous, gotta be someone ubiquitous. Okay, got it. Gotta be ubiquitous, gotta be someone. Got it, all right. So I have texted Lauren who you are, Paul. Okay.
Starting point is 00:56:15 And I've texted Paul who Scott is. So I text Scott who Lauren is. Okay. Wonderful. A-U-K-E-R. How many times do you text me a day? You know, or you're saying I'm Scott Ochrum? We had a whole...
Starting point is 00:56:36 I was texting you about Zero the Hutt for a long time, just because he drives a laser powered fan boat. Okay. Text me about shit, homie. Come on, come on, give me. Can we do fictional people as well? Yes, but they are not going to because they... Well now I'm not going to because I...
Starting point is 00:57:00 Oh no. You should ask a bunch of questions about process and have them all be the opposite of what you want to know. I'm just trying to fill up time here. Okay, got it. All right. So now we're, Lauren, why don't you start and you ask a question about... My me, right?
Starting point is 00:57:19 My me. My me. And we both know the answer and we can confer an answer. Is that what it is? Yeah. Yes. OK, guys. That's correct. Am I tall? No. No. Am I a man? Yes. Whoa. Yes. Nice.
Starting point is 00:57:39 Am I alive? We should establish if it's a fictional character alive in the universe. Is it reasonable to assume that I am alive? Yes. Yes. So you're fictional, interesting. Yeah, we'd give you that one. He's looking for someone.
Starting point is 00:58:01 He's looking for someone. He's looking for someone. Helicopter. Am I a woman? No. Okay. I forget who you are. Oh, that's right.
Starting point is 00:58:17 Okay, so I'm a man. Am I a fictional character? No. No, I'm a real live human man. Oh, I don't know if I'm alive. Okay. Paul. Um, am I male?
Starting point is 00:58:38 Yes. Wait, didn't you ask that? Isn't that part of the- Yeah, but two people can. Two in a row can't, not in a round. Okay, got it. Am I fictional? No.
Starting point is 00:58:57 Yes. Yes, you are. So, I'm not tall, I'm fictional, I'm not a woman. Got it. Am I alive currently? Yes. Oh yeah, baby. Am I powerful?
Starting point is 00:59:17 In a certain way, but not really. No. I in a certain way, but not really know Um am I related to a holiday? I mean in a way not tangentially not primarily, okay Have I won an Oscar? No. Wow. Shit. I wanted to. I'm sure he did too.
Starting point is 00:59:51 Really? Oh, interesting. Oh, shit. No extra talking. We got to do some of that fill up in the time while Paul thinks of a question. Am I contemporary? No. Right.
Starting point is 01:00:08 Yeah. I'd say that. Am I female? You're still not. Wait. Oh, I mean male. I mean male. I mean male.
Starting point is 01:00:19 God damn it. You used it. Just the same question. Am I an actor? No. No. No. Am I male? Ha ha ha. Ha ha ha. Jesus Christ.
Starting point is 01:00:57 Ha ha ha. Yes. Okay, I just didn't know if it was gonna be like something like, but it wasn't. Was that really a question? Yeah. I just wanted to narrow it down. Okay. Okay. Okay, so I'm male. I'm not tall and I'm fictional Got it. Am I primarily a television actor? Yes. Yes. Okay. No. Yes. Yeah. Okay. Got it, got it. Am I a comical?
Starting point is 01:01:35 Yes. Yeah. Are these yes or no questions or are they just like questions? Yes or no. They're yes or no. Am I? Fossbender laid it out for you. Am I? When he invented this game.
Starting point is 01:01:51 I was staring at his dong. Am I an animal? No. No. Am I was my most popular show on during the 90s? No. Okay? No. Okay, but it's close. Okay. Interesting.
Starting point is 01:02:11 Go. Am I human? No. New. Am I... Dancer? From a movie? You were, sure. You have been. You have been.
Starting point is 01:02:32 But it's not what I'm known for. Not especially. Oh my God. Was my most popular show on during the 2000s? Yes. Okay, the 21st century, interesting. Do I have a favorite food? Am I known for having a favorite food?
Starting point is 01:03:01 I don't think so. I don't think so. Am I from a popular TV show? You were, but not originally. Oh, I don't have COVID, just everyone knows. Oh. I just got my results. You're the person you are? Yeah, does my character have COVID? In addition, we're allowed to make statements. In addition, we're allowed to make statements. Yeah. By the way, I don't have COVID either.
Starting point is 01:03:28 Okay, 2000s, am I a sitcom star? Yeah. Huh, but non-committal. I got, oh yeah, okay. To move faster? Yes. It's hard though. This is so random.
Starting point is 01:03:48 It's so random. Why don't we start making some guesses and we just go, that's so far off or that's close? Am I part of the Disney universe? No. Am I, am I from a comic book? No.
Starting point is 01:04:07 No. Go ahead. And was my most popular show a drama? No. Okay. But there was some drama. Okay, but then why when I said, am I a sitcom star, you went,
Starting point is 01:04:19 meh, maybe not currently, is that what it is? Yeah. That's what I meant when I said sitcom star. Do you only get one question per row? Well, I'm just saying. You're really starting a whole conversation. what I'm saying when I say like am I sick on star? We need to speed this one. It's my most popular show. Scott slows it down with a filibuster. Well, you don't even have a question Yes, he does look. Yes, I do. What is it? See here it comes. I just need to wet my whistle Yeah, so now here comes that question that I have been saving up. Am I merchandise?
Starting point is 01:04:52 Yeah. Yeah. Am I from Disney? No. No. What? Am I, am I, am I, am I... God, I don't know when he said it comes from the 2000s.
Starting point is 01:05:09 Am I from one of those shows Paul was talking about watching? The three, four in a row? No. Oh, damn it. Actually, no. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Am I still popular? No. I don't think so. No, I agree. Am I a human being?
Starting point is 01:05:36 Yes, along with everything that we've talked about, meaning you're not a real human being. Right. But yeah, you're a humanoid. I'm cartoon. I Don't want to say okay, but you're a humanoid got it Am I Okay, so was I on musty TV on Thursday nights no shit Sikham is that was misleading.
Starting point is 01:06:05 Okay. Don't stick with that. I mean, in the sense it's not, but it's like, it's not how he's going to get there. No, okay. So my most popular thing wasn't a Sikom. Okay. Go ahead. But it wasn't a trauma either. Huh. What could have been a reality show? I'm just speaking out loud because we're waiting for your question. Yeah, well luckily it's in my earphones.
Starting point is 01:06:31 Are you, am I, are you me? Do you want, do you want a letter? No. Okay, okay, sorry I'm impatient. People love this right now. They all don't know what it is either. They're on the edge of their seats. Well hopefully they're playing along. I think what we should do is, or, no, no, no, I have a question. patient. People love this right now. They all don't know what it is either. They're on the edge of their seats.
Starting point is 01:06:45 Well, hopefully they're playing along. I think what we should do is... No, no. No, no. I have a question. Should we drop in who we were at the beginning of the game? I don't think so because it's gripping. Well, let's ask Josh.
Starting point is 01:06:55 Okay. Let's ask producer Josh if he thinks this is interesting. Am I Josh? Yes, you're fictional. You big with us. I'm fictional, not human. You big with us. Okay, so here I'm a fictional character who's male. I'm not fictional, not human, ubiquitous. Okay, so here I'm a fictional character's male.
Starting point is 01:07:06 I'm not powerful necessarily. I'm not contemporary. I'm not very intelligent. I am comical. I'm not human. I have no favorite food. I am not a Disney character. I am merchandised and I am not still popular.
Starting point is 01:07:18 Yeah. Yeah. Okay. That describes it perfectly. When we say you're not a Disney character, you're not like associated with Disney. But you actually, can I just say a little follow up? Subsidiary. You are seen at Disneyland. You're a subsidiary of Disney,
Starting point is 01:07:33 but you're not a Disney character. Weird. Yeah. That should be a major tip. Okay. I think, and I haven't asked a question yet, right? Well, didn't you? You can make a guess. Am I Roger Rabbit? Yes. We gave you that. We gave it to you. There was no way you could make it. Papa-papa-papa-lees. I haven't asked a question yet, right? Well, didn't you? You can make a guess. Am I Roger Rabbit? Yes!
Starting point is 01:07:46 We gave you that. We gave it to you. There was no way you could make it. Papa-papa-liz. Okay. Now, here's a question though. Are carrots his favorite food? I don't remember him ever eating.
Starting point is 01:07:54 No, I don't remember him. No, that's a Bugs Bunny. Okay, and he- Definitely a Bugs Bunny. And the powerful thing like he has more powers than a human being does. Right, but he's not like a superhero. He's not a power, yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 01:08:03 Okay. I have no idea what's going on with me right now. Yeah. Am I? Well, try to maybe try to narrow down where you came. No, Scott, where you came from maybe. Am I handsome? Am I? What a sweet question. Wait, if I'm an actor but my main thing isn't a comedy or a drama. Ugh. A... Drama-ty? Is that possible? Oh my god.
Starting point is 01:08:34 Um, okay. Was I on an NBC show? My main most popular thing. You're obsessed with must-see TV. You really are and you're not. No, okay. Just let it go. You didn't get it. Didn't get what? I didn't lose. You lost the game. I'm saying the guy didn't get on NBC. Okay.
Starting point is 01:08:53 I said must see TV to say Thursday and then now I'm asking generally NBC. Should have started there. You should have shut the fuck up. Before you said it. I have literally no clue who I am. Why don't you try to figure out like where you originated? Okay. You know what I mean? Because we've said it's not comics. Am I from? It's not movie. It's not TV.
Starting point is 01:09:14 A comic strip. Yes. Yes. Queen. Okay. Okay. Was I on my big most famous thing? Was it ABC? Yeah, you were on ABC.
Starting point is 01:09:23 But was it my big most famous thing? No, it was not your big most famous thing. Was ABC. Yeah, you were on ABC. But was it my big, most famous thing? No, it was not your big, most famous thing. Am I Charlie Brown? Yes! Yay! OK, so. I'm not tall. I'm not a woman.
Starting point is 01:09:35 You're not handsome. I am male. I'm not handsome. I'm a humanoid. Oh! I'm from a comic strip. That's Charlie Brown to a T. I always love it if people describe the penis thing as humanoid.
Starting point is 01:09:47 Well, this is like Jeopardy. The answer is in Jeopardy. You would never ask the question and then have the answer be that. It's definitely humanoid when Matt Lauer dressed as Lucy. Oh, right. God. Was that related to his big, weird sex things? Yeah, it was like he wanted to wear that and they were like,
Starting point is 01:10:03 hey, everyone else better put on a costume when he's still fucking wearing costume. He would lock his office door and then put on a Lucy costume. Are they going to talk about this in the morning show this next season? Oh my God. Okay, look, so keep going. You got to help me out with this. So do you want to hint? Yes. Cable. Ha, very in right now. Cable TV. It's very in right in the tooth. Yeah. Cable TV. It's very in right now. In the truth. Oh, okay. But not a drama.
Starting point is 01:10:29 But there was some drama. There was some drama, but not a drama. Okay. So was it an HBO show? Yes. Was it? Okay. So this is the 2000s in HBO show.
Starting point is 01:10:39 It wasn't the Sopranos because I was a... No. Don't be mad at me. Well, I'm at the situation. What else is on HBO? Come on. You know this. Know it.
Starting point is 01:10:55 How am I fucking supposed to know it? I have no clues. Do you want another clue? We've already talked about this. I know. I mean, actor who's still alive, who was on an HBO show in the 2000s. The end! And it wasn't a drama, it wasn't a comedy.
Starting point is 01:11:08 But there was some drama. How the fuck do I, am I supposed to know it from that? Because when you get it, you'll get it. Yes. If a show has some drama, I mean, it's ostensibly more comedic than dramatic, right? But it's not a comedy, you said. Am I Barry? Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:11:27 No. No. That straddles that line. You're an actor. Right. You're a not fictional character. I know, I know. You were on a show.
Starting point is 01:11:37 I know. The show is a show we have discussed. You have not won an Oscar. We've discussed it today? You didn't even ask that fucking question. That's a gimme Did we discuss it today? Yes. Yes. We discussed an HBO show today. Oh my god Yeah, you made a joke similar to the joke I've been making That you aren't getting I don't know I'm lost on that one. Oh, yes. I don't even know I don't know I don't care. I don't care. Great. Great. There's no every game where it should.
Starting point is 01:12:07 Like, you know what? Think of other HBO shows. Just come on. Game of Thrones. No. No. A little bit of drama. Game of Thrones. Well, I don't know. 2000s. Like. It's not on anymore. Well, Game of Thrones isn't on anymore. I rewatched it. So that one's already been eliminated. Oh, is it entourage? Yes. Am I...
Starting point is 01:12:26 There's a little bit of drama, see? Oh. So I'm one of those guys? I don't even know their names. Actor. Adrien Grenier. No. What's his name, Dylan?
Starting point is 01:12:37 Kevin Dillon. No. Whoever played E. Think obvious. Oh, Jeremy Piven. Yes! How is that? I can guarantee you no one listening to this knew it was Jeremy Piven until at least two
Starting point is 01:12:52 minutes before I did. Wait till you, you'll never listen back to this, but we said a little bit of drama many times and I bet that they picked up on it. And you earlier in the episode said it has some drum. You know what I mean? Like, it was like, this was a whole thing we were doing. It's a bit. You guys suck.
Starting point is 01:13:10 No, we don't suck. You suck. You suck at this game. You're the only one who didn't guess. But you guys got major fucking hints. You knew it was a touchstone film. Are you kidding? And that his character appeared in Disneyland.
Starting point is 01:13:19 What was mine? I didn't know it was a touchstone film. Touchstone. That didn't come up. It was a subsidiary of Disney. Yes. You never said touchstone. Yes, it did. I said it was a subsidiary of Disney. You didn't know it was a touchstone film. Touchstone, that didn't come up. It's a subsidiary of Disney, yes. That never came up. You never said touchstone. Yes, it did.
Starting point is 01:13:27 I said it was a subsidiary of Disney. You said touchstone. I said he was a Disney character. That does not automatically translate to touchstone. What other movie companies are subsidiaries of Disney? How was mine obvious? I was not tall, I was not handsome, and I was not a woman.
Starting point is 01:13:39 That's Charlie Brown right there. Let's try that one. That was the original description Charles Schultz wrote. Humanoid. Easy, humanoid. This is how he sold it to the papers. We gotta wrap this up. This is so about a humanoid.
Starting point is 01:13:51 Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Six humanoid. Celebrate the holiday. How long is this episode? That's about an hour and 10. Come on, we're good. All right. We're good, we're good.
Starting point is 01:13:58 Guys, it is New Year's Eve. And I stopped Paul from singing this last week. Because it was way too early, but here we go. I thought I'd ask you just the same. What are you doing New Year's? New Year's Eve. We sound like when Danny Tanner and and Joe Uncle Joey and Uncle Jesse would sing a little from Flawless. Who are these people you talking about? Rockin' Rollulabide Michelle.
Starting point is 01:14:37 Like what would they sing to Michelle? You're my little teddy bear. Guys we hope that you're doing well out there. Don't... Scott speaks for himself. Don't get crazy. I mean, look. Don't drink and drive.
Starting point is 01:14:52 Don't drink and drive. Don't drink and drive. Listen to Nitsa about that. Don't go anywhere for that matter. Don't go anywhere. Don't do anything. Be safe. This was a rough year for everybody. We hope you're hanging in there still. The 2020 is gonna be in the rear view in just a few hours.
Starting point is 01:15:07 And hopefully this new year will bring good things. And we really appreciate you listening. And I've already been vaccinated because I'm a celebrity. And I have a special pipeline. Who we know who's going to get it first. I know a health care worker is getting up, but that's accept. That's right. Yeah. I'm sure my sister is getting it.
Starting point is 01:15:23 But I'm saying nurse she's a nurse. Maybe she'll give me some runoff. Maybe she'll give me like part of her surgery. But I had some leftover. What celebrity is going to get it first? And we'll all be like, of course. And who's going to die from it? Kevin Hart.
Starting point is 01:15:35 Vaccinations are poison. Don't say that. All the presidents are going to go get it. I can't wait to get those microchips injected into me. So Bill Gates can track my every move. Well, look, 2021 is going to be better for everyone, hopefully. So at least 90% of the people, I would imagine. But hang in there, everybody. We really appreciate you listening.
Starting point is 01:15:56 We love doing this show and we really, we love hearing from you. And it's, I'm glad that we, that we all have this together. Hunter Raj really is one of those special shows that isn't funny and isn't dramatic. So you're right. It's supposed to be funny, but also you don't care about the drama. So I mean, I get where you're coming from, but it's-
Starting point is 01:16:14 Well, I like it. And also- But it's just maddening. It's drama the character that we were referring to. I know, I know now in retrospect. But Paul was referring to it for real, so it is complicated. To try to figure out what a show is by hearing
Starting point is 01:16:24 it's not a drama and not a comedy. Entourage should have just popped right in my head. You never said it wasn't a drama. We said it had a little bit of drama. And we didn't say it was a comedy. We just said a little bit. We did at one point say that it was a sitcom star, which technically Entourage was a half hour, wasn't it? That's right. So guys, we're hoping you're doing well out there. Okay. The Entourage pioneered the half hour show
Starting point is 01:16:46 that's not really funny and not really dramatic. I love that show, I don't care. But we hope you're doing well. We hope you're doing well. We just wanna say the same three things for another five minutes and then we'll let you go. I just wanna say I like entourage. Okay mom, I gotta go. I got everything so close. Okay mom, so I gotta go.
Starting point is 01:17:06 I gotta hang up now. Alright, we'll see you in 2021. Bye. It's been a hard year. It's been a really hard year for everyone out there. And I hope that everyone has a better year. This time, when you do it this year, because 2020 was bad, and 2021 is going to be awesome.
Starting point is 01:17:30 We're all going to get the vaccine and we're all going to live nice, nice long lives. Because 2020 was bad, and 2021 is going to be the best year ever, starting January 1st. Everything will be good, and there will be no problems. I can't wait to see what everyone does with their new year 2021, the year where anything is possible. Merry Christmas, you old building and loan!
