Van der Pum rules a fishinato an internet meme a fishinato
It's Danny Pellegrino. Hey Danny. Oh, hello, Ben. Thank you for having me
Oh, I am super excited to talk about the greatest show of all time.
It really is. It really is the greatest show of all time.
Before we just dive into all this, Danny, could you please tell everyone
where they can find you and where they can listen to you, etc?
I would love to. Yeah, online, you could find me at Danny Pellegrino on Twitter and Instagram
And I did also just start a Facebook page and it's really embarrassing
I'd like no no followers or whatever you call them on there followers. Yeah, it feels weird to say followers
But yeah, I should also note that there's like a plane going above my I'm calling it and there's a plane going above my apartment
girl there are
If I mean we have so many noises that happen on our podcast.
We are like truly the most unprofessional podcast. You will hear I guarantee a car alarm going
off over the course of this episode. Well, Ben, you know what, you've obviously never
listened to mine. Mine is a lot of audio issues. But if you want, it's called everything
iconic with Danny Pelligrino, it's on iTunes Spotify. So go subscribe and listen if you guys want to hear me talk about Bravo as well.
Yeah.
You've inspired me.
I'm going to resurrect the Banderblender.
And I'm going to resurrect it in the fashion of Everything Iconic, which is that maybe
there'll be some episodes that'll just be me talking if people can bear it, you know?
Yeah, it's fun.
I told you, you need to just have a podcast that you can just
talk about whatever that he'll you want to talk about. Get it off your chest.
It's like free therapy. Yeah, I have things that are on my mind, you know.
Things that like small stupid shit, but that don't seem to make it on to watch
what happens somehow, even though we talk for hours and hours all week long.
But yeah, I'm going to resurrect it. I'm going to monologue about important things, like the fact
that my cuticles are hurting, because I got a bad manicure.
Things like that, you know, important stuff.
Relatable.
Yeah.
Relatable.
You know, I talked about my housekeeper recently.
Oh, yeah.
And she's become sort of a recurring character on my podcast,
because a few weeks before Christmas,
she barged in my house and threw me out of the way
to go to the bathroom.
And then cut to a few weeks later,
she left a pop tart in my freezer.
And so it's sort of become this mystery of what Martha
is what's going on with her body.
Yeah.
So that's the kind of things that you could talk about
when you have your own show.
Yeah, there's probably a correlation between Martha's
pop tart and Martha's very important to the bathroom. Yeah, there's probably a correlation between Martha's Pop-Tart and Martha's very important. Oh, the bathroom. Yeah, this
complete correlation. So before we turn out, before we dive in, oh, let me first
chill, watch our crappens.com. Please come to our website to buy tickets to all our
live shows. We have just like announced a whole bunch of new dates. We're going
everywhere. We're going to be in Florida. We're going to be in Atlanta. We're going everywhere. We're gonna be in Florida. We're gonna be in Atlanta.
We're going to be Detroit and Chicago and St. Louis
and Kansas City.
And I know I'm forgetting one Houston.
So everyone, if you wanna buy tickets for that,
go to watchacrapans.com.
Our lunches.
And I just, can I jump in and say it's so fun.
Like I was at your live show last week.
And I had the best time.
Like way too much fun. Wow, thank you so much. I'm at your live show last week and I had the best time. Way too much fun.
Wow. Thank you so much. I'm so glad you I wasn't sure. I was like this is either going to be a
total disaster. This crappies thing like we have 10 guests or whatever or it's going to be amazing.
So I'm really glad that I'm really glad that you liked it. It was amazing. It was so much fun. It's
always so fun to be surrounded by people that love the same stuff as you. I% agree. And what's great about these live shows that we have been doing on the
road is that we, they've been in venues where we were getting like two or three hundred
people. Our New York show actually has 600, I think it's 600 or 650. And having that many
people who love Bravo, having that many people who sort of scream and unison when you mentioned
something like the Regency, it's actually exhilarating. It is the most fun.
So, I really hope everyone is able to come out and see.
And it was so fun having you there, and we both had the joint experience of
of ambushing Tiffany Haddish to get not really together, but one after the other.
I did it because you did it.
But you did such a met a much better job than I did, a much better job.
Well, you had told, you would come up to me and said, you know, I just took a picture with
Tiffany Haddish and I was like, okay, see you later.
And I'm like, drop what I was doing through the table out of the way, like, you know, Teresa
at the dinner flip.
And I just like, ambushed her.
And I felt no remorse.
You did it in a much more mature way.
I had my line where I said, I'm in a tuxedo and I feel like we should take a photo together. And I really thought like,
I thought like a combination of gay charm and tuxedo was just going to win her over.
I thought she'd be like, yes, honey, yes.
It's always good to lead with being gay. I feel when you're going up to a woman's celebrity,
because then it's like, you're not, you know, you're not trying to get anything out of them other than a picture.
Exactly.
Exactly. Normally, leading with being gay is almost like, you can do it anyone.
You can literally go up to any female celebrity and if you just like push the gay thing, I mean,
it wins them over.
Actually, I met Kyle Richards about, I don't know, six or seven years ago and I led strong
with it. I did a very strong
gay foot forward, and I was like, girl!
Girl, what you doing?
Girl!
It's like, girl, you look fabulous.
On the next day.
Yeah, it was like, it was very aggressive, and it worked.
I got my photo with her.
Oh, that's amazing.
I saw her at the movie theater ones.
She looked beautiful.
Kyle Richards.
Yeah.
She was, it was like years ago when she was, the show had just started and she was pushing
Portia in a stroll. Like Portia was that young and I'm like, oh my God, I was just reminded
of that. I was with a friend at that moment and I just was reminded of that. I'm like,
oh my God, we've come so far. Portia's like an adult now. Yeah. She's, Portia's in a dangerous
place though, where she could just turn into a crazy brat if she gives a little, like it's time to now start introducing boundaries. I feel like she's
still sweet and lovely, but we're in a danger zone, you know. Totally.
You know. So anyway, I'm in for Portia.
Craying for Portia. I'm so proud of your way of handling Tiffany Haddish. I really feel
like she's great. She knows you know, she, I was taking
the picture with Ira and so he took one of me and then I took one of him and it was so great
because while we were taking the photos, when we, when the other person took a good one, Tiffany
would yell, success. It was like, that was like a thing that she does is like to let the photographer
know that's the good one. Yeah, there was I did not hear that word in my photo.
Well, and I already actually got a follow from her.
Did you see that?
Yeah.
Yes.
Wow.
See, it's like, I feel like we each learned like I was the one who,
who approached first and then you learn from, from my mistakes and I read just like
Grand Slam, you know, totally.
He was like going in for
the kill. He's like, uh, this person interviewed you, he's my good friend. I know, you know,
the person who wrote your next movie, he's a good friend, you know, he's like, yeah,
all these connections. Yeah, he went and I realized after the fact I was like, wait a
second, I actually know one of the writers of Girl's Trip. Why didn't I lead with that? Yeah.
Anyway, you black out in the moment.
It's only natural.
I saw Meredith Fierre recently at Runny and Canyon.
I just totally blacked out.
That's what it was.
That's what it was.
I didn't even say hi to her because I was too nervous
to say hi to her.
But meanwhile, Tiffany Haddish, I'll run up to.
But Meredith Fierre was too much for me.
You know Meredith Fierre in Runny and Canyon,
you have the perfect intro line, which admittedly has probably
been used by many people. But you could have gone up to him and been like, how do you like the view?
Well, Ben, I actually, I tell the story on my podcast, but so I'll just tell it super quick.
Yeah. But when I saw her, I also saw Michelle Collins and Michelle, who I know a little bit,
and they were walking together with a camera crew, but Meredith was like 10 feet ahead of Michelle and I'm a view fanatic Michelle
was a analyst on the view yeah and so I freaked out I'm thinking I thought they were filming an episode
I got the top of Rene and Canyon but it turns out Meredith was just happened to be hiking
so she was like 10 feet in front of Michelle but I freaked out because I I literally thought I was like
I'm gonna be a panelist on the view. It's all happening. View Reignia, did you show your Shina tattoo?
I said, I was like, in my head for like a solid 30 seconds as they were approaching, they were going
uphill as I was going downhill. I'm like, oh my god, this is it. Like Barbara Walters is nearby.
They're going to like bring her up to the top of the hill and they're doing a hot topic segment.
Hot topics on the mountain.
And so then I saw Michelle and I was like, Michelle, there's Meredith
Vera. And she's like, oh my God, it was so it just happened to be,
they just happened to be walking at the same.
That's what it's about.
What an honor for you.
What a true honor.
Really.
I think you, you, you,
fanatic.
Yeah, my boyfriend is too.
There's a lot of view happening.
And I think Michelle Collins, you know, aside from being a friend
I thought she was fantastic on that show and gone too soon
Totally, I mean I can go on and on about this for hours, but yeah, she should still been there
Never the less, never the less. We have we have serious business to get to here Danny
We are talking Vanderpump rules and you know since some people out there in the world may not know you just yet.
Why don't you tell everyone where do you stand on Vanderpump rules, where do you stand on the season, who do you like, who do dislike, etc.
Sure. Well, I hate to sound dramatic, but I think it's the greatest show of all time that we've ever seen in the history of television. I think this season is the best season we've ever seen of any season of TV of all time.
Okay.
All right.
So I hate to sound dramatic, but that's where I stand.
It's hard to challenge it.
It's hard to challenge it.
I mean, I would maybe offer up real housewives of New York City as a possible, you know, alternative,
but, you know, yes, I continue.
When New York's on the air, I feel like the same way about them.
New York's my favorite, but, you know, right now we're in Vanderpump season.
So I'm like, I'm high on, I'm, I'm eating the pasta of Vanderpump rules.
I'm just high on Vanderpump rules.
And I love it.
And my favorite, I love Dodie, Kristen Dodie.
Yeah.
She is my favorite.
I've been trying to get her on my show forever.
And there's like this hashtag, hashtag, Kristen is iconic to get her on my show.
So we need to make it happen.
I love her so much and I'm so disappointed.
She's not in it as much as I want her to be this season.
Yeah, that is troubling.
You know, she is kind of iconic in her own weird way.
You know, she's sort of like,
she sort of like failed downward
and then the downward turns out it was like a slope
And now she somehow got up work again like it was like a ski slope, you know, so she's I don't know what's happened with her
She should be on more though. I was really worried that you know people
We're gonna they were gonna get rid of her producers were getting rid of her
But I feel like there's this underground movement right now people. I don't know what they call like Dodie fans
Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote doh tays.
Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote,
Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote,
Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote,
Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote,
Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote,
Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote,
Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote,
Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote,
Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote,
Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote,
Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote, Devote,, Devote, Devote that as much, but I don't know that there's as much of an underground movement to get more screen time for her.
Yeah.
I feel like Stasi, I, I, I, I, I, I, I do like when there's more Stasi, but only when Stasi
is in hyperbitch mode, that's when she really shines, but she, she sometimes likes,
she lately, the past few seasons, she's kind of like slinked away from it.
Last season, we saw her being really bitchy. Sometimes like lately the past few seasons she's kind of like slinked away from it last season
We saw her being really bitchy this episode obviously we're gonna have a lot to talk about with Stasi
but Kristen is always pretty consistently crazy and
I think we just always need to have more and more Kristen
It's kind of a remarkable cast and that there hasn't been a huge amount of turnover in this cast
Especially for a reality show They just kind of collect people over the years and and Stasi tried to get away and that was a failure of course
But so the more they collect people the less room there is for everyone
But you know these things come in cycles. I'm sure we're going to have a very strong
Kristen forward season soon, you know fingers crossed
I know.
I think I think she'll make another appearance.
You know, people want, want it from her.
So she will.
Yeah.
She will step it up next season, I think.
And also we're at an embarrassment of riches.
Like this cast is just giving us so much story this season
that it's like, there's people that are just bound
to go by the wayside.
Like even Shina's storyline with Robert,
you know, everything about Shina.
I feel like another reality show,
like in Beverly Hills or any of the Real Housewives
or anything, that would be the center point for this season.
And it's like Vanderbrol's just has too much.
So Shina's storyline is just kind of like,
you know, shuffle to side a little bit.
For now, because you never know
when the storylines will erupt into something bigger.
I mean, that's what's great about Vanderpump Rules, is always like this second and third act
of storylines that are kind of off to the side and almost on the like, they foe mantin
and it's like this big like explosion of a random storyline.
I mean, season two is I think the best example of that, where the first half,
it seemed to be nothing but it was like, it was like, it did Tom and it was all about Tom and
Kristen, right? Like, did Tom shoot, right? Wasn't that the whole issue? Did Tom shoot? Did
Tom shoot? And Katie was being, there was an issues with Katie also. And then almost
on that was that like mid-season pivot where it's like, guess what? Kristen may have slept
with Jacks and was like, wait, what? And then the whole second half of the season was this crazy, like, like, investigation of, did they see together?
What an amazing twist.
Yeah, I mean, it's always so good.
Wasn't there also, was that when Tom cheated
at the Golden Nugget pool or something?
I mean, which Tom, Tom, Tom Sandivall, didn't he,
like, make out with someone?
Was it Ariana?
That was the, I think it was the rumors of Ariana,
but was that, did Ariana come in season two or season three?
I can't remember.
I don't remember, exactly.
I actually, it was season three, but I could be wrong.
I have no idea.
I binge the first few seasons all at once,
like the first, like two and a half,
I watched all at once.
So it was all a blur.
Yeah, it all is kind of a blur,
which I think is probably a commentary on,
on sort of their lives, you know, it's sort of,
it's just sort of like a one big, one big season, right?
That's like indistinguishable year from year, right?
You know, there was a great piece,
and I think it was BuzzFeed or something
about talking about how great Vanderpump rules is a season and it was the writer or whatever, reporter writer or whatever.
She was saying that she has beenage to mall like the five or six seasons that we've had.
And she said she just started noticing that she was fighting with her boyfriend all the
time.
Like it was just subconsciously.
She started fighting with him about everything.
Yeah.
And I just thought, yeah, that makes sense.
That came out like yesterday, right?
I feel like I just read that.
Yeah, I saw it this morning, but yeah.
I don't know what it was, but yeah, that's worth a read.
So anyway, let's jump into this week's episode because it really was like all the other
episodes amazing.
So it opens up like one thing that Ron and I really love to talk about is the generic royalty-free
music that they pipe in between scenes and especially at the top of the show.
And I love that this week's opened up with some sort of some singer being like the beautiful
people, the beautiful people, the beautiful people, and everyone knows that you know, some
like Brit pop, knockoff hills, opening credit song. I mean yes.
Yeah exactly and I just love the fact that they're singing about the beautiful
people and this entire episode is about like Stasi saying some the ugliest
things and Kevin Lee calling Katie fat. Yeah. In Jackson's foot. In Jackson's foot.
Beauty is not what comes to mind after I saw this episode, but yes.
Yeah, exactly. You got to love that the producers have a sense of humor, right?
Totally. So I got over Jackson's foot. I'm sorry to interrupt, but now that I'm in
this one, in my mind, and I couldn't get over it. People were really scarred by it.
And I feel like I was lucky. I feel like I happened to look away when you said,
oh, sorry, I took my foot out of my shoe.
I kind of looked away a little bit.
And so I didn't get the full.
It was like, Raiders of Lost Ark had enough time
to turn away before my face melted, you know?
Sure.
To me, it felt like more shocking to me
than Jiggy being in front of the Steppen Repeat alone.
Like at the magazine launch.
I was like, that just sort of went by and I didn't even blink twice at Jiggy alone at the Steppen Repeat alone. Like at the magazine launch, I was like, that just sort of went by and I didn't even blink twice
had jiggy alone at the Steppen Repeat.
But when I saw Jackson's foot, it was like my mouth was a cape
and I felt like that had gone too far.
Yeah, it felt like a terrible version of the ring, right?
Like it might come out of the TV and kill you.
Yes.
And it was just as hairy.
So we learned that the
specials for today are roasted vegetables in a garlic lemon butter sauce, which I
don't know why I write down every time they mention specials. I just think it's
hilarious that they include the details of what the specials are at sir as if
there's gonna be like some delicious food by Thomas Keller, you know?
Like you're not going to get much when you go to eat it, sir.
So James and Stasi go and they meet up with Lisa Vanderpump, who we learn is going to be taking over as editor-in-chief of,
what is it? Beverly Hills Lifestyle magazine?
Is that what it is?
Yeah, it's what I just saw.
There was a picture of Nicole Kidman on a
cover. I don't know if it's a new cover or what, but it's like I saw a picture of Lisa Vanderpum
and that that tiny man with that runs the magazine with her. Yes. Nicole Kidman. And then Pandora was
like, you know, peaking in the background, which she always is. Right. But I was like, oh my god,
Nicole Kidman's doing this magazine. At what point is Nicole Kidman going to be on pump rules?
You know, that would actually be the dream.
The first cross, my fingers are crossed, and Nicole Kidman starts hosting alongside Billy Lee.
Hello, welcome to pump on Nicole Kidman. How can I help you?
I just go through like the customary first episode is being a host this scene where she's like
I'm just trying to figure out the computer, you know, yeah, and Lala comes and says we're gonna be such best friends
Oh my god, I need a scene between Lala and Nicole Kidman
Just in general it doesn't matter what general what platform just a scene between them
Then you know spewing very inspirational quotes at me. Yeah
between the then you know spewing very inspirational quotes at me. Yeah. Yeah. Oh my god. I want to hear it's going to happen. It will. I want to hear Nicole Kidman talk about next wave feminism.
That's actually my at state social house. You know, you know, I don't know if you heard,
but Kristen Dodie is actually going to be in big little eyes season two. I'm kidding. I can't
you know, the thing is this like weird shit like that happens with the band of no rules.
I mean, Annaly, don't forget, never forget Annaly.
Jennifer Aniston's, you know, co-star.
Yeah, exactly.
So, Kristen's starring in Big Little Lies too.
Oh, I'd love it.
It's possible.
I'd love it.
Maro, Nicole, Reese, and Kristen. I could see her playing like the
art teacher at that school in Monterrey, you know. How do we make that happen? I'm concerned
about your daughter's artistry. Sock a dick. Sock a dick. I told the children to suck a dick.
And now I'm fired. All the mountains are called into a conference
or something because Kristen, the art teacher, told all the kids to suck a dick.
Kristen's probably the only one who can go toe to toe with Renata. Let's be honest.
Oh, a Lord Dern Kristen Dodie show his standoff would be just amazing TV. Hold on a little
more. Yeah, that's peak peak TV. That's beyond peak TV. That's just like apex TV. So
It's not TV at HBO and then just like a picture of Dodie
And then everyone's TV just like cracks in half like I'm done
So
The since Dossie is playing the role of a party planner this season
She's like I want this entire party to be perfect
And Lisa's like, I don't want to look like an idiot!
This Dossie's like, I don't want you to look like an idiot. I'm like, um, here's the problem
You've hired Dossie as your party planner. There's no way you can't look like an idiot. I know. I know you know
I well, I have a couple things to say. First of all, I like the pairing of James and Dossie
Yeah, I like to sing them sit at that table together. I don't know what that means, but like,
some serotonin came in my body when I saw that visual of those two together.
Yeah. So I feel like we need to explore that a little bit more.
Yeah, okay.
And then also, I lost my train of thought.
That's there was some happens.
Brilliant.
That's what happens when you think about, when James and Stasi sit at a table together,
a lot of times thoughts just sort of like disintegrate.
I thought, I know, I thought about it,
it floated back into my head.
So I want, wait, I just floated back,
as you can, you cannot form a proper sentence
looking at the table.
It's, no, it's fine.
Oh, okay, it's back.
I swear, this is it now, I promise.
I don't like that, we're pretending that Stasi has a job there
Yeah, I feel like this is the most inauthentic piece of the show right now, and I don't I just don't care for it
Yeah, I agree. I feel like any of the party planning that we're seeing her do is really being done by production because I think also if
Stasi we're going to be planning a party for real it would be some strange
hybrid of like lame is and you know true crime, hard to get humanity in the corner. Yeah, be like
people holding axes dressed like old French horse or something, you know, singing a revolution song.
I go to the party. I kind of want to be at least an Arpums party. No, it's definitely not Lisa Van Pum style.
So then, so basically, and I also think this whole party,
I love the way Lisa's, you know, she's trying not to look like a fool.
She's like, James, will you be able to DJ my party?
And still be able to do see you next Tuesday.
As if it's like, like the most pressing deadlines. Yeah, I think you can handle it.
So the weird scene of James running between the two parties was was a lot. I loved it. It was sort
of an action pact. You know, they got a little fancy with the camera work and the music and
everything. And it was like, we got a little action scene in the middle of this van op-pum rules episode.
It was like a much less satisfying version of Run-Lola Run. You know, it was like we got a little action scene in the middle of this van or pump rules episode. It was like a much less satisfying version
of Run Lola Run.
You know, it was like,
Run James Run.
Run James Run, except for only the C1 outcome,
it's just not gonna be what you want.
Yeah, going to a venue called CUNX Tuesday.
Yeah, like will he get from one DJ gig
to another DJ gig, where the stakes are generally pretty low?
I don't know. I loved it. I'd like some more action scenes from this show. I feel like they can do it.
We've seen it now and we know they can do it. Let's get let's hire Danny Boyle to come in as a
guest director and add some real pizzazz to these scenes. Oh, could you imagine? I'd love that.
Yeah. So Lisa leaves them alone and Stasi is now talking with Jane.
She's like, so I'm going to bring your wiki wiki equipment.
And she's like, okay, go wiki wiki.
And she's like, and you can bring your boyfriend, which, see, that's a Stasi we love.
Just that little dig.
That dig that you almost don't see coming and then boom, it's there.
Yeah.
I love it.
I mean, I need, I need Stasi, I need that old Stasi back. Yeah, I love, I mean, I need I need stoss, I need that old stossy back. Yeah, I mean, she just went
through such a weird, the over the course of these six seasons,
you know, she just went through such a weird arc. Yeah. And now it's
like she's trying to find her footing of like where she belongs. And
then she also has to do that weird balancing act of like sucking
up to the Vanderpump. Yeah. And so it's like, I don't, I just
feel like she's, she's almost Yeah. And so it's like, I don't, I just feel like she's,
she's almost there.
You know, moments like that we see like,
she's almost back to where we love her.
Yeah.
Her biggest mistake was quitting.
She should never have quit.
She should just, she should be a waitress,
just like Katie is still is in China.
And that way she could like, she would have a territory
that she could patrol and she could be bitching
to new girls, because that's really all we want.
Yeah, I love when she's mean to Shina.
Like I know, yeah, that's the worst part of my of my being is liking that, you know, this
woman's mean to another woman, but I can't help it.
I love it.
It's so funny.
I mean, that one time when she was sitting with Lisa Vanderpump and Shina came to serve
them and Shina said something and Sasi is like, I don't know what that means, but I'll
take a Pinagrijo like I mean, come on. It was so good. Oh, that was so good. Best line. I got chills.
Yeah. Yeah. No, I do too. So anyway, yeah, so Sassy's like, so your boyfriend won't be coming
tonight. A.F. And she's like, no, no, I'm not about dating him. You know, if I want
him, I could have had him, but I'm not gonna have him. I don't have to prove myself. It was beautiful. Like I said, I loved seeing those two interact. I want
more of it. Do you think that James and Logan may have had a trist at some point?
Oh gosh, that's the million dollar question. I don't know. I go back and forth. Sometimes
I'm like, for sure they did. And then other times I don't see it. Yeah. I don't know. I go back and forth sometimes on like for sure they did and then other times I don't see it
Yeah, I don't know but you know a lot of people reach out to me with things that I don't want to know like on social media
People because I tweet a lot about Bravo and stuff
Yeah, and they'll reach out to me and tell me things and so a lot a lot of people reached out and said that they saw James and West Hollywood
Like kissing Logan or would you know any of that stuff. And on some part of me believes it,
and then the other part of me is like,
I think you know how gay people say
every gay celebrity is a,
or every male celebrity's gay.
Yeah.
I almost think it's kind of like that a little bit,
do you know what I'm like?
Gay people, I don't know.
I think so too.
I think there may be sometimes an over-eagerness.
And like that shot we saw from a few weeks ago
where James is like talking to Logan's ear
and it looks like they're making out.
And I wouldn't, you know,
if you see that from across the bar,
you know, it looks like they're making out.
So it's possible that people could misconstru it.
So yeah, Jury's still out.
I might get sort of see it going either way.
I could see them like fooling around,
but I can also sort of see James being drunk
and passed out and Logan sort of like nestling nestling in like under the armpit, you know, and are you talking about rape?
He does a cuddle rape.
I can see it happen.
I don't know.
I don't know what I'm I'm almost curious.
I'm almost curious to see it.
But yeah, I'm very curious.
I wish we had cameras on that.
I'm very curious about it.
I could I agree.
I think there might have been, you know, a moment or two,
but I don't know.
Yeah.
Well, either way, we then head over to downtown Los Angeles
to a place called Suitfellas, where Tom and Tom
are going because they're going to get some outfits
because Tom Schwartz's triplet brothers are coming to town and since they lived in
someplace called Yulee Florida and the producers are so shady they're like Yulee Florida and they
put up a picture of a road it's just like yeah nothing but a road yeah it was that was a little
bit rude to Yulee Florida it was and then Lisa, I thought what was really strange was when Lisa vatted pump was like, and you leave forever and you leave forever.
So you're confused.
Yes.
Nothing like nothing like a good Ulan pond in the middle of a recap, right?
Oh my gosh, you're making me laugh.
Yes.
Yes, I love anytime.
Vannipron's talking about you, Lynn.
She'll find anyway to get that in there.
Yeah, she'll be like tonight's specialist be salad and also you're in must end
Yeah, and you'll it forever
Yeah, it's not even it's not even a clean you know integration of you and she just drops it wherever she can
How do you Tom? Santa ball in those scenes where he was wearing that hat
He was really reminding me of like one of those barbershop quartets at Disneyland Tom Sandeball in those scenes where he was wearing that hat.
He was really reminding me of one of those barbershop quartets at Disneyland when you walk
in the park.
That's the look I was getting from him.
Yeah, like a retro.
This is what America was real.
That Disney look, that means for USA thing going on, you know?
Yeah, but it was a great observation.
What I loved about it was that it was like, Tom Sandeball's look and he was dressing those boys from Florida. Yeah, and it's almost like
the producers or editors like we're naturally inclined to laugh at the guys from Florida. Yeah,
but when you see Tom Sandeball in that hat and everything, it's like no, the people from LA are
just as embarrassing as the people from Florida. Like we're all embarrassing. Oh, like maybe even like tenfold more. Like it's where like we're we're just horrific
here. Yeah, let's never forget. But that's beautiful. I was like, oh yeah, we're all fucked
up. I like seeing the excitement in Tom's eyes knowing that this is going to be like his
biggest challenge. Like he's not even, he's not even aiming for a spin-off. Tom Santavolti, she had a dress. He's in
it purely for the challenge. He's like, a lot of dudes. We got three guys here. We got
a full makeover on them. Man, dude.
I loved it. I would watch that spin-off, but what I think is so great about it is it felt
natural to Tom. It wasn't like Stasi's party planning where it just feels like the producers
are making us watch it.
It was like, Tom wants to make these men over.
Have you met Tom ever?
I haven't, no.
So it's really fun when you meet Tom, because you will inevitably, you just ask him something
like, what do you think about my outfit?
Which is I think one of the first, the first time I ever met him because he was at pump
once and I was there and I was like, hey, hey, what do you think about my outfit? And he was like all right, dude
So I like the shoes the shoes are good the pants are what you do well you need is you need like a belt
You put a belt in it and dude you look awesome with this type of belt like a little snake skin going out
He gets so excited. Oh my god. I can't wait. I I cannot wait. Yeah
Yeah, I got to meet Ariana at your live show and it was the best
Oh, yeah, she's really she's really very sweet and very funny and she was really cool
She hung out she was there longer than that I was I was like I got to go and she was still there hanging out with all the listeners and stuff
So that was super awesome. Yeah, she was great
She seemed to have a really good sense of humor about all this which I like yeah
She really did and she didn't have a tant good sense of humor about all this, which I like. Yeah, she really did.
And she didn't have a tantrum when the back alley of Sur
lost out to the Regency for Hottest Barfs 2017.
So I appreciate that.
Those categories were so good.
So Katie's there.
And I like Katie trying to hide her disdain
over the fact that these triplets are going to be staying with them.
She's just like, I remember her issue was like, did you say that right here?
She's like, well, my thing is that Tom is always opening up bureaucans and then like drinks
a sip and then puts it down, opens up a new one and now it's going to be like threefold.
Yeah.
And I'm just imagining her just going nuts in that apartment with all those open
beer cans, let alone that horrific spray paint art above the couch.
I hate that.
I wanted to bring that up.
I hate that Bubba picture.
I hate it so much.
Of course.
I don't know.
I need to talk about the things that I hate, but I do hate it.
Some things have to be, have to be declared.
And apparently they were on some sort of like apartment
renovation show.
So I think it was the work of someone on like HGTV,
but like, wait, wait, wait, wait, Ben, let me back up.
This is their after apartment.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think it is their after apartment.
Are you kidding me?
This is their after.
It is their after.
It's not the before.
No, this is the after the after apartment. I believe I
haven't actually had the stamina to watch their their their thing, you know, but
Chuck. Yeah, you this is the after apartment. That's why whatever show they were on is no it probably wasn't even like a real
H.E.T.B. show. It was probably like a digital extra. Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah. Bravo. T.B. exclusive. Where Tabitha came in and it was like, I didnGTV show. It was probably like a digital extra. Yeah, a Broadway TV exclusive.
Yeah, a Broadway TV exclusive.
Where Tapeth came in and was like,
I didn't like this, I don't like this,
I don't like this, I don't like this.
Change this, good boy.
Well, maybe she needs to go back and rearrange it
because that place, did anyone else on the show
have their apartments done on the show?
So just for my own awareness of their social media,
Brittany and Jacks, they had their apartments. Yeah, they had their apartment redone, but it wasn't, it was, I think, like a sponsorship thing.
Like some furniture shop was like, we're gonna redo your place because they were all
of some being like, thanks.
You know, new, new, newchairs.com or whatever.
Newchairs.com.
Yes.
Certainly who did their apartment for sure.
I did see there after picture on Instagram.
I think one of them I follow and but I didn't know I didn't know Tom and Katie's apartment was
done because I think their apartment is the worst one. Yeah, I'm pretty sure don't quote me on
it. Listen, we're not the New York Times here. So like this could be just all totally, you know,
manufactured in my head, but I'm pretty sure that the listeners
have posted several times that Tom and Katie, I'm just going to do a Google search right
now.
Let's just like.
And also, while you're Googling, can I just back up and say they're not.
The worst one, China's is the worst one, but I digress.
But they're up there.
So it's a show called, okay, I'm clicking on it.
I'm clicking on it right now. It's called,
I think it's called Mr. K, oh Mr. K it's the blog. The show is called OMG we're coming over.
I watch everything and I've never heard of the, I think it is a digital extra as anticipated. I
think it may have something to do with, oh, like remember how there was like OMG Yahoo like OMG
like the insider or something.
Oh, my God, blog, or it wasn't that a thing.
Oh, my God, blog.
It was, but here's the thing.
When you look at the omj, here's the thing.
Okay.
I'm gonna hit the pictures online.
Go to Mr., it's on, if you just do a simple Google search,
you can find it.
I'm on it.
Do you see these pictures?
Let's talk about, can you see the before and after pictures?
I'm not there yet, but.
They have, first of all, clearly this couple,
they have destroyed their after apartment.
But second of all, the after apartment
did include the Bubba, Babe, BB, or that is just truly her hideous.
Yeah, it's really that.
That's the easiest thing I've ever seen.
And he's like, and I mentioned this on a recent show,
there are these like fluted,
Edison light bulb things,
with wires exposed wires dangling down behind the couch.
This is not, this is, this is definitely
speaks of digital extra.
Yeah, I don't like those exposed wires at all.
Yeah, there's a lot of,
a lot of problematic aspects to it,
but anyway, yes, clearly, a lot of a lot of problematic aspects to it, but anyway, yes. Clearly a lot of like
vintage-y stuff. Are they always into kind of Katie has Katie is like faux faux hipster. Like there was
one scene last last season where we went into her bedroom and she had like a record player in there.
her bedroom and she had like a record player in there, you know, from her not putters. Yeah, it was like, by the way, that's not a talk. I have that. But that's, that's kind
of her thing, you know. So, yeah, I encourage everyone to look at these pictures because
they're, it's something look really nice to photos, right? Yeah, I mean, it looks better
in these photos, but some of the, like are bad. Above their little island, there's a light that says
bar on the light.
Do you see that?
It's twinkly.
Oh, oh, oh, that's, it's actually, it's bar on the light bulb.
The bulb says bar on it.
It's like, you're not in a bar.
Like that's the tiniest little island.
That's not a bar.
And I think that is like a dry bar that they have,
or a wet bar.
But either way, I'm not a fan of literal labeling.
You're telling where they are.
We get it.
Yeah.
It should have said something like even something stupid like drinks served here or drinks
up or fun times would have been better than just bar.
You know?
Yeah.
Bar is pretty boring.
Yeah.
But it does look better in these photos.
Back in 2016, when this happened, it looked better for sure.
So I'm glad we really sorted that out.
We got to a good deep dive on their apartment there.
These people, Mr. Kate, needs to go over to Sheena's apartment.
Yeah, now Sheena's apartment with those man cave couches,
which I'm sure are very comfortable, but you know and that cat gin
That's in the back like
For the cat, you know that little it doesn't it just doesn't seem very rob the letter friendly, you know
Yeah, it's it's it needs work. It needs a lot of work
So back to the show
the next scene
is So back to the show, the next scene is kind of a doozy.
This is when Billy Lee meets up with Stasi to record an episode of her podcast, which I believe
is called Straight Up with Stasi.
And Billy is like, oh, by the way, I was just getting my nails done with Ariana, Sheena
and Lala and Stasi is like, oh, that's fun, which is like her way of saying,
like, kill them all.
Yeah.
She's like, I hate them all, I hate them.
And Billy's like, yeah, so they had some words
about your podcast, apparently like your racist
or something.
And it's like a flashback to,
we then, Bravo puts up a flashback to Stasi's podcast from March where Stasi's talking about the Oscars and she's like a flashback to, we then, Bravo puts up a flashback to Stasi's podcast
from March where Stasi is talking about the Oscars.
And she's like, everyone's giving their
impassioned speeches about race and all that stuff.
I'm like, why are there always just about African Americans?
Like why aren't the Asians being like,
we're not represented?
Why aren't the, I don't know, the Native Americans,
the Latinos being like, we're not represented.
Why is it just that?
I also caught when she was saying,
like, why aren't the Asian people like blah, blah, blah?
I also caught the hint of her doing an Asian accent.
Did you catch that?
It was, I don't know.
I could barely hear anything over my,
the sound of my audible cringing and nervous laughter.
And the fact that my black boyfriend was staring at me
being like, I can't believe you watched this shit.
I can't believe you actually sort of like this saucy car.
Like he was like, he's like, that's your girl?
That's your girl.
And I was like, I don't know what to say.
Like I'm like nervous.
Like my world just collapsing around all around me right now.
Yeah.
House of cards is coming down.
It was tough.
That was tough.
It was tough to hear and tough to see. And I look, I get it. Stasi was just, you know, talking about some stuff
on her podcast. And then one thing led to another and she was, was giving her thoughts on
the Me Too movement. We've all been there. Listen, we've, we've all let the joke get away
from us. And the next thing, you know, you have spray painted bubble art on your wall.
Like it happens. But no, in this case, Stasi was being straight up ignorant.
And I mean, I actually don't think
Stasi's a racist.
I really don't.
I think that she's ignorant beyond ignorance.
Like she's so crazy, crazy ignorant.
What I think what really bothered me
is, aside from that really terrible clip
from her podcast, I mean, that was so, so bad.
And she's like, you know, like, so I had this podcast
and I'm like, I just didn't articulate myself well,
it doesn't mean I'm racist, and I'm sorry,
I don't mean I'm racist, and she starts crying,
like call me a bitch, but don't call me a racist.
Yeah, but no one did call our racist, right?
Like Ariana just said she was ignorant.
Well, here's the thing.
Oh, I mean, maybe I'm sure she got a lot of people online calling her a racist. Yeah, but here's the thing
Ignorance, I actually feel like when you're ignorant you have to have these moments where like the shit
You're the shit. It's the fan. How else you gonna learn you have to learn, right?
And so I'm glad you had this moment to learn my problem is
When Billy Lee is like,
oh, I heard you had some like shit
and you were saying some racist shit on your podcast.
I don't want Stasi to sit there and be like,
I'm thinking people call me a racist.
Like why?
People have to be like, I'm sorry.
I was like, I'm ignorant.
Like I'm still figuring out my way.
I'm not a racist.
Like bitch, don't cry.
Don't cry.
You're not the victim here.
I'm sorry.
You said some ignorant ass shit and your response't cry. Like, you're not the victim here. I'm sorry. You said some ignorant
ass shit and your response should be. Yeah, I know. I said some ignorant stuff. I really didn't realize.
I, you know, I didn't say it the way I probably was meaning to say and I didn't realize how sheltered
I sounded and really I've now like learned the nuances of the situation and I realized what I said was
like, that's what her response should have been. Not like like I'm not a racist, stop calling me a racist. Yeah, yeah, she didn't own it.
She didn't own it. Yeah, um yeah. And that's the most interesting part of what Stasi's been
giving us this season, like I'm enjoying that storyline of like that yesterday's episode I enjoyed
just seeing an authentic moment from her aside from that pump party planning because it just felt like, okay, this is really going on Stasi's life.
Like, I'd like to see more of that.
Yeah, exactly.
Because she is really good for sticking her foot in her mouth on her bodyguards, like
all the time, you know.
And there's been a few instances, right, within the past few months where it's been in
the news, like, I haven't really read a lot about what she said.
Well, I know there's been more than one incident.
She had a super tone death moment about the me two movements, where she
basically, I don't even remember what she had said, but I didn't, I didn't,
I didn't like listen to it, but just, you know, people were pissed because I
think she was saying things like, I don't know, like, I don't, I'm not even
going to misquote it because I because I was on Michelle Collins podcast with
Laramere showinels Yeah, and we talked about it and I was like didn't didn't saucy say something like all women are bad like no
She actually said this. I'm not gonna miss quote it again. Yeah, but she said something stupid tone deaf and
Yeah, she is she she doesn't know it all obviously, but you know bitch you gotta like you
When people call you on it,
like know that you said some really ignorant shit
and like you have to just be like,
yeah, I said some ignorant shit
and I've learned my lesson and now I know
and thank God I know now, you know,
not be like crying because you know,
people are mad at you, you know?
Calling you out.
Yeah, this is art, this is us two gay men teaching you,
Stasi. Yeah. Us two. Stasi.
I guess. No, that's terrible. Yeah. No, now we're gonna have to do it.
I apologize. Yeah, but it was really, it was really bad, especially also because later
on in the episode when this whole Kevin Leigh thing happens, and Stasi is like, who does
he think he is to be saying? Who, what, how, how heavy a woman should be like, who does he, who does he think he
is to be able to come in a women's bodies and like see Stasi, but that's kind of what,
that's what people are saying about you. Like, who do you think you are to be able to
say these things? And, and you have to just sort of open your ears when she's like, why
aren't the, why aren't the Asians, why aren't the Latinos, why the Native Americans
saying, definitely, everyone is actually, they're all saying that
we want to be represented.
So, she just, yeah, I don't know that Stasi was able to make the parallels between those
two situations.
I wish she would, though.
I mean, those moments of humanity are what we want from her.
Yeah.
We'll get over it if you apologize in the right way or accept it or own it.
Yeah, and I think what didn't really help her was that her primary concern was also
seem to be like, and then my eyelashes are coming off.
Yeah, it's not like, the concern was being called a racist and then her eyelashes were falling
off.
But the good news is that Billy Lee had some sage so that kind of fixes everything right?
Yeah, and I'm also loving and loving Billy Lee. I like I like her getting in the mix more
I hope we just keep seeing more and more of her. Yeah, yeah, I think I think we will I think we definitely will
So then rush five. What'd you say? Yeah, I think so. I mean, I always like seeing new people on the show
because I'm always excited for what sort of
awful things are gonna do, you know?
The lilies seems to be nice so far.
I think Billy Lee is probably, you know,
right now Billy is kind of like
representing the trans community.
So it's gonna be sort of like
saintly a little bit on the show,
but maybe by next season,
she'll be up to some like terrible things.
Yeah, I hope they let her be terrible too.
Just like, you know, I hope they let everyone be terrible on this show.
I don't want them to edit or portray her perfectly.
Yeah.
If she is perfect, great, but, you know, I want to see messy moments too.
So hopefully the editors don't hide some of that from us.
I think they will.
I think we're going to get a season of Billy Lee being wonderful,
so that way there's no backlash on Bravo being like,
why do you you know like of course you portray the trans person as messy and evil, but then next season then like, okay,
we've given like and been like show like, look trans people are are just like us and then next season be like, okay,
she's messy and she's evil too. Yeah, 2020 is gonna be the year that Billy Lee turns into Kristen Dodie season one. Yeah. Oh, that's great. That's what it's happening. That's really great. Election year
too. We better be careful. That's an election year. I don't know what this could, you know,
affect things politically. So I think we all need be careful. It's, you know, benefit of our
rules has to really know its responsibility and an election cycle, you know. I think we all need to be careful,
because if Billy Lee is not going to be messy until 2020,
that can affect our outcome.
Yeah, it really could.
We got a time, it just right.
So anyways, the next we go to Tom Sandevol's at Katie's
getting ready to do the makeover,
and he's weighing in with his fashion philosophy. He's like,
all right, dude, dude, what you do is you gotta, you gotta build a good foundation, cool
pair of shoes, nice jeans, and then rotate tops of jackets, express your personality, dude.
I can't wait to hug him. I don't know why. Yeah, I like Tom. Tom seems so sweet and simple and nice. Yeah. Do you, Tom? Do
you subscribe to his fashion philosophy? No, I do not. I do not. Although I do want to stick
up for him shaving his forehead, because I always got mad that people made such a big
thing out of that because it's just an exfoliation of your forehead. It wasn't like he wasn't
shaving hair off his forehead. He's just exfoliating with a razor instead of a lutha. Yeah and well to be fair I think credit
belongs to Caroline Manzo for introducing that to Bravo. Totally. Yeah I mean Justice or Justice
is do. She's a pioneer you know. They both got too much heat for that and I'm here to stand up for
those. Yeah. On my soapback standing up up for these two. Yeah, I know.
I recently, after years and years and years,
I finally upgraded from like a little like a little
Gillette razor to like a Nurelco battery operated razor,
you know, which I have found is does not give me a clean shave
and takes actually longer because you have to go
over each spot so many times for the damn hair to like get into the shaver, you know.
However, my skin always feels so smooth afterwards because I wonder if I feel like exfoliating
my whole face because I'm going over it so many times.
So I'm like, I like it.
So it's a kind of a win-win.
It's kind of a win situation.
Yeah, I feel like Caroline Man.
I feel like you made the right choice or was it a regret? I feel good about it. I feel good. Okay. I like this. I was totally landed. I also don't like splash in my face with water if I don't have to
You know really you like that you like a water splash? I do actually I do I feel like it freshens me up real fast
We'll do that, but sometimes I'm like
Sometimes I'm just not in the mood. You know, I also heard that cold water when you splash it on, it closes your pores.
So if you've been like traveling or something, like even if you just, after you get off
a plane, even if you just go splash some cold water on your face, it's good because it'll
close the pores so that you won't get more dirt and grime and stuff in them.
Yeah, don't get that new location grime in your face, you know, just be like end it now
I
You learn pause forever
Whenever I go to you learn to protest the first thing I do is slash code what on my face So I don't get any dog things in my polls. I gotta do it. Yeah, I don't keep those poor squests
You know it also got to keep closed.
What?
Fire doors?
At Sir.
That fire, I couldn't really make heads or tails of it
because I wasn't sure if this happened a bunch of times,
I could seem so nonchalant.
Like, oh yeah, there was a fire.
Yeah.
I don't know, it felt too nonchalant for me.
I'm like, if there was a big fire, like shouldn't this be a fire. Yeah. I don't know. It felt too non-shelon for me.
I'm like, there was a big fire.
Like, shouldn't this be a storyline on the show
about this restaurant?
I think that when it comes to serve,
burning sensations are nothing new.
Yeah.
I think it's just like,
I think God was casual.
Like, I should probably just like end this right now.
There's like too much misery happening around this restaurant.
Let me just try to put this at oh
Didn't stick whatever I'll come back to it
Would Jack's be sad of sir burn down no no, what do you think about that a simple? No, I loved it
I thought it was it was natural of jacks. I thought it felt real. Yeah, yeah, it was
Well, it's just it also reaffirmed his sociopathic tendencies, which I like.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I, you know, I think Jack's wants this whole thing to burn down. I keep getting from
him in interviews, both in the show and outside the show, where he, gosh, seems almost a little,
a little lost and a little bit like he, I don't want to say wants to move on, but maybe a little bit
of that, like, and so I think he would like it if Serge just burned to say wants to move on, but I maybe a little bit of that like and so I
think he would like it if Sir just burned to the ground and the show burned to the ground because
now he's sort of stuck in this life of on camera and I don't know that that's what I think he got
what he wanted but didn't realize this is going to be it you know like I think he moved out to
LA he was like I want to be a star I want to be a model actor, whatever. Yeah. And now he is a star from this show.
And I think he, you know, is sort of surprised.
Here I am, just like, no, assuming what Jack's feels,
but this is the impression I got.
It's like he got what he came, he got what he wished for,
and it's not exactly what he wanted.
Yeah, I think that he got what he wished for.
I think it was what he wanted,
but now he's ready to segue into full
abusive husband mode.
And I think that like the show has held
keeping him held accountable.
You know, I think that he's like, look,
okay, I'm not really a model anymore.
I put on some pounds.
I mean, he still looks good.
We always given so much shit like,
oh, Jackson's back.
He still is hot.
You know, it's just that we know what he used to look like when he was really like model
hot, you know.
He's put on some pounds and like, it's kind of like all of America is holding him accountable
at all times, anytime he cheats.
And I think he's ready to kind of proceed away from the spotlight and just have a quiet
relationship where when he cheats it's not going to be put on camera and he doesn't
deal with this shit all the time.
I mean, I'm also concerned because he now has like a pit bull look.
He was wearing like a very pit bull kind of suit
and one of these interviews and I was like to me,
that shows that he's checking out, you know?
When you're in the moment.
He means like pit bull like Mr. Worldwide.
Mr. Worldwide, yes.
Mr. Worldwide. Okay, I'll check it out. For some, he's like, he's in the dog and then I'm like, oh no like Mr. Worldwide? Mr. Worldwide, yes. Mr. Worldwide.
Yeah, I can't shut down.
For some, he's like, he's in the dog,
and then I'm like, oh, no, Mr. Worldwide.
Yeah, no, yeah, he is definitely,
I mean, there's a little bit of a dog too,
but I'm getting some Mr. Worldwide from Jack's
and that's, yeah, you're right.
Yeah, that usually means that just sort of implies
inherent laziness and yet success, right?
I think Jack's would be happy if he got fired from the show or, you know, I think some part
of him would be relieved that he could go live that life with Brittany or, or with Faith
or Faith's, you know, old lady that she's, you know, whoever he can go live with and just
be happy on his life.
I think he, you know, he did a good job for a few seasons of being, you know,
Chuddly, uh, Chuddly.
Chuddly is, he actually, Cuddly and,
he's definitely Chuddly.
I would say, Chuddly.
He is Chuddly.
Jack's is Chuddly, but he was sort of a charming
in Cuddly Oaf, but, you know, and like, he is not,
and that's becoming very apparent like we're
we're we are suddenly remembering that he is an awful awful person and I think
that I sense that he's frustrated that all his hard work of being
shuttly has gone out the window yeah he seems tired I mean he took off his shoes
and socks he's obviously tired yeah hello this Hello! This is Lisa Van der Pum.
We are taking a commercial break now.
But if you don't hear one, don't worry. You're very lucky.

So we know, so Lisa, Lisa Van Opomp, surveys the, at least in Stasi's survey of the fire,
I'm like, oh, anyway, my party. So, uh, so Stasi is like, yeah, I can't get anyone to work
for me. Like, no one takes me seriously. And like, I can't get anyone to work for me like no one takes me seriously
And like I can't even get a bartender like I asked Ariana and she was like, eh, and they show Ariana being like um, you're not my boss
I'll think about it. Okay. So
So hard for Ariana to have to get bossed around by Stasi like that's hard. That's tough. It is very tough
I would never want to be bossed around by a stoss.
I mean, I think in a weird way I might enjoy it just in the mind. Oh my god.
This is what she said. She was like this. And she was like, that's like I think I might enjoy the massacre.
Like one time. It would be fun. Yeah.
But so anyway, so Nostasis starts crying to Lisa.
She's like, what's wrong? My little broken bird. What's wrong, Stasi?
She's like, I don't know.
I'm just like, people keep saying I'm close-minded.
And I don't know.
You know, and Lisa is like, you know,
you wouldn't say a lot of things about Stasi.
She's a bitch.
She's an idiot.
She's not quite a funny thing.
She's not even a real party planner.
I'm not sure that's a real haircut.
It's sure that's not a real chin. But racist, racist, bigotry, not racist, but everything else.
Anything and everything else she is.
Yeah, exactly.
It's like, and I won't tolerate it.
And Stasi's like sobbing, and Lisa's like, Stasi, and she's like,
Stasi, please pull yourself together because you're representing me.
I'm gonna have to put together a party.
I thought you'd be like, you're representing me
and, you know, and you can't say these ignorant things
anymore because you represent me.
But it's like, no, you represent me and I have a party.
So like, this personal crisis you're going through,
can we like not do this right now?
And it's also always that weird thing where we know that Lisa needs the drama for her party.
Otherwise they won't hear this stuff on TV.
So it's like she wants all these people to bring a little drama to this, what was it, the LA, what was it called?
I don't know, this magazine party.
Beverly Hills lifestyle.
Yeah, Beverly Hills lifestyle party.
It's like we need a little drama there.
Otherwise, that magazine's not gonna get any air time.
Yeah, exactly.
So she knows it.
So Lisa has like a little staff meeting,
which makes me happy.
I feel like the staff meetings were kind of like a trademark
of the first few seasons and we haven't had one so long.
So it was kind of nice.
I too loved it.
I thought it was great.
The only thing it was missing as everything else is in the show is Kristen Dodie.
She was the only cast member, I think, not at the staff meeting.
It's not right.
I love seeing Stasi there.
I love seeing all that group together.
Yeah.
How do we think Kristen could get a fake job at Sir?
I mean, Stasi has a fake party plan.
What could Kristen's fake job be?
I don't know.
I mean, I feel like she's been banned ever since
she told the manager to suck a deck.
Yeah.
I don't know what else she could do.
I don't know.
Do you know what Kristen's talents are outside
of being great reality TV?
I don't even know what Kristen does.
I know she had like a T-shirt line.
She did a T-shirt line for a second.
I know she's also a t-shirt line. She did a t-shirt line for a second. I know she's also a vegan.
She can mark on even though that's it.
She can be a vegan consultant for Sir.
She can be a patient, but she is a vegan, I think.
So maybe we just bring her on to make some vegan recipes for the restaurant.
That'd be good.
You know, that would be good.
If the interpump was like, we need to expand our menu.
And then Kristen had to work with those cooks in the back. She's chill. Yeah, she had to. You know that would be good if if the interpump was like we need to expand our menu and then
Kristen had to work with those cook in the back. Yeah, chef. Yeah, great because they always would talk about her
So I would love to see them all working on vegan recipes together
Yeah, I would like that if if Kristen somehow fashioned herself as a culinary expert for the for certain universe
Or you know if Kristen came out the vegan cookbook then she could
You know test recipes out at the restaurant. Right.
Or maybe she could be the author of the surah cookbook.
Yes.
You know, that would be great.
Yeah, I'm so, yeah.
I'd be concerned about a surah cookbook,
but like as a storyline, I think it'd be really good.
Yeah, I'd watch it.
We could also get her in Tom Tom's.
Oh, yeah.
And that's open yet.
So I feel like we could get her a job there,
but I don't know if she would go back
to serving or wait for saying.
Yeah, and I don't know if I wonder if the show,
if Sir is really going to dive into Tom Tom
because it kind of dabbled with pump,
but it never really made the transition into pump.
It's still in Sir.
Yeah, yeah, I don't know. It's still in-sir. Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, I don't know.
It'll be interesting to see.
I hope they do.
I think we'll at least get a little more than pump because it's the two toms.
Yeah.
You know, they have a hand on it, but I don't know.
Yeah.
Either way, it's finally time for the Beverly Hills Lifestyle magazine party.
And Stasi's running around.
And Arianna's the only bartender there.
And Jiggie's at the step and repeat alone. Yeah, so everything is tomsy-turvy. Nothing's making sense and Arianna's the only bartender there and jiggies out the step in her pit alone.
Yeah, so everything is to help you, Turvy. Nothing's making sense. We're in the upside down.
And Jack's isn't there and he's bringing the shaker in the knives and this is a problem because Arianna has to like
make a whole bunch of bashed big pinkies and there's no bar kit and it's like, oh my god, it's like
huge triceps and then Lala shows up and sees Ariana.
I'm like, dealing with all these pictures with Lime's in
and she's like, oh my god, you're muddling.
Oh my god.
I feel like there was also a Lala feminist speech
in there that was cut.
Like I, I felt like that was an opportunity for Lala
to really jump in and go gung ho and try to do a catch phrase.
And I bet you she did, but it was cut.
Yeah, she's, she's really rebranding herself in this Me Too moment very well and clearly there was a speech like,
you know, I'm sick and tired of these guys being late and we're there muddling the lines and whether
it's we're muddling lines or lives together, it's the guys we're always waiting for and fuck the guys,
fuck these pictures, we're drinking what we want to drink and it's not gonna be the cool aid It's like we as women need to stick together and not
Moodle for these men and Dorit
Not a redoried any longer
Dorit in the last the last phase of her long hair when she was yet Dorit showed up in in braided
Pigtails.
Is that what you would call them?
She's always like slinking around.
Yeah, with her, those braided pigtails were, I don't like, I don't, this is controversial.
Maybe this isn't controversial, but I don't like to read.
It's not, that's not, I don't think that's controversial at all.
Yeah.
My, she's a bad Batman villain, right?
Like every time I see her slinking around, I think she's just like that 1960s Batman movie.
But her villainy is just really lame.
It's just her being like,
Batman, I'm terribly sorry.
I know that we're supposed to have a fight later today,
but the traffic is just ridiculous,
getting to Gotham City.
Do you mind if we scheduled my terrorism for tomorrow?
Is that okay Batman?
I'm so sorry.
I'm so sorry.
Call it all right.
Oh, I can't handle Dory.
Although I did think she did a great rendition of fever.
I think it was.
Got a rendition.
Yeah, it was, you know, she did it as a rendition.
You know, considering she wasn't on Terraforma, I think it was, I think it was as good as a
seafaring rendition of fever by an amateur next to Boy George could be.
Yeah, exactly.
So, yeah.
So, then we see like a lot of footage of you know party party party and we see Shina
She's serving someone and so
Ronnie and I we just love Shina and we just crack up whenever there's some random cutaway to her because she's always just her
She has that crazy voice and here this week her crazy cutaway was her going
Phenomenon you're welcome
That's your you muppet for us, you know.
Come on, some flaming y'all.
Flaming y'all. You're welcome.
And Flaming y'all. You're welcome.
Sheena, this has been pointed out online.
I think she picked up but in plans.
Yeah, she has something going on.
She-
Something was flying out in the back.
It was weird padding and it was like not the first-
there was when she showed up for the meeting,
the employee meeting, there was also some weird formation
back there.
So I don't know if it's a bad implant.
Yeah, it's a bad implant.
Yeah, something was going on back there.
And it looked she's a beautiful girl.
I just something was going on.
Yeah, yeah, it's, we've all been there.
Yeah. So, Lisa Vanderpump is yeah it's- We've all been there. Yeah.
So Lisa Vanderpump is now getting mad because Jack's is not there.
Like Tartiness is now like the ongoing trend on Bravo these days.
Yeah.
And Lisa's very nice.
She's like, I've endured a lot of crap with Jack's Taylor but I've never had him be rude
to me.
He had an obligation and then he has a nerve to let me down with something that's very important to me.
I'm like, I'm glad this is what gets you mad.
Stasi has this like rant about like what black people are saying at award shows, like a ignorant ass rant, and you're like,
Stasi, be quiet. And this is what, this is what incenses you.
Yeah, I know, Jack says late to your, you know, free drink party.
Yeah, Jory.
Jack says they're to serve Doreet on time.
Yeah, in a proper glass.
Yeah, and then I'll tell you, Doreet wasn't there on time.
None of those people were on time.
I bet you everyone at the party showed up at 7.30
because who shows a bit of party at 6.30?
Exactly.
Well, you know, we had Jill Zaron, as I guess,
on the show several years ago. And the most important we had Jill Zaron, as I guess, on the show several years ago.
And the most important thing that Jill Zaron told us was that production
fucks with them when it comes to being on time. Like, what happens is they're told,
okay, we're going to send a car for you at 7 p.m. And then the car doesn't show up to like 725.
And then by the time they get to the event
they're like an hour late and they're hungry and people are angry at them for being late and
they're a hangry and angry at production and it's what causes all the drama. So when all these
stories about people being late it's fully, I fully believe in this production and by the way
God bless. God bless. Yeah I know we if if we need it, I mean Beverly Hills needed something.
So you know, it was like, you know,
make Duret late to dinner with Teddy,
like anything we got to do to spark some controversy here.
Yeah, exactly.
So Brittany shows up and says like,
where is your boyfriend?
And did I hear this correctly?
I think Brick goes eaten.
Eat and get in a haircut.
Eat and cut that hair.
And sauce is like,
praying on it.
Praying on it.
Oh man, he's been a bad boy.
I was like, fake that we had angry sex just now, honestly.
But she was like, I'm sorry,
but what do you want me to do about it?
And I was like, this concerns me.
This is like Brittany and Jack's
are starting to have united front
and I'm not here for that.
I know, I know.
And did you see Jacks was wearing like a ring
on his wedding ring finger?
For engagement finger?
This has become an online thing.
He's wearing a wedding ring or an engagement ring.
Is he engaged?
I don't know.
You know, between the two of them,
I wouldn't be surprised if they just didn't realize
what was happening.
Like they put the ring on the wrong finger.
But then I think Brittany would be on top of that.
Yeah.
I feel like she knows.
She knows not to do that.
You're right.
I've never seen Jack's wearing a ring.
Yeah.
It's alarming.
I don't like that Brittany has taken him back.
But Brittany, you know, she's one of those girls who wants to fix guys and she's just going
to set herself up for a life of misery. No, and I just love Brittany so much those girls who wants to fix guys and she's just gonna set herself up for life of misery
I know and I just love Brittany so much. I want her to be happy with someone else like I just I want I want more for Brittany
I know me too. She's so sweet and cute. I know she seems very lovely
So um everyone I just want to say I want to stick up for Brittany for a second everyone loves Brittany
Not a single person on that cast has a bad word to say Brittany, which makes me think Brittany's like a genuinely nice,
good person.
So I want the best for her.
I do, I do.
And it's, of course, the nice person gets dragged down
until like the swamp that is Jack's on the show, of course.
That's the Vanderpump rule that you cannot escape it.
You cannot.
She got jacks.
She got jacks.
So anyway, so Billy is there and she's telling Lala about Stasi and everything and Stasi
comes out and Billy's like, oh yeah, I was talking about the podcast, but like, you know
how I was talking about how you're like a racist and everything and Stasi's like, literally
I cannot talk about this right now because I I gotta work I'll just cry I can't do this and she's like
I'm like an adult because I put work before my emotions like
Yeah, she was a proud of that moment. Yeah
Stasi a lot of learning to do that that poor poor white girl. She's got some books to read
Exactly so Jack's finally shows up half an hour late
theme of theme of 2018 on Bravo.
And here's what drives me nuts about Jack's.
He, at this point he has all,
he knows exactly what you're supposed to say at all times.
And here he's got his lines queued up.
He walks in, leases there and he's like,
so sorry, I'm really late.
Where's Ariana? I want to help her. I'm really late. I want to help her. I'm like, I hate, he walks in, leases there and he's like, so sorry, I'm really late, where's Ariana? I wanna help her, I'm really late, I wanna help her.
I'm like, I hate that he walked in
with that bullshit line, I really wanna help her,
I'm like, if you wanted to help her,
you would have been there on time.
And I weren't.
Yeah, Dread's thirsty.
Dread's thirsty.
You should have been here earlier.
Dread is wilting in the corner.
Her Connecticut accent is coming back.
Please hydrate her.
Hydrate, Dread. Yeah, so Lisa Vanderbilt was having none of it. And she's like,
having it tonight is my not. Do you see my children are bartending jacks.
My children, Pandy is bartending. It's not right. I mean, Max, it's fine.
This is what he does. But Pandy not.
Oh my God, Pandy. I got a little spark from Vanderbilt that I'm not getting
on Beverly Hills right now.
And when she was yelling at Jack, I was like, yeah, that's the Van Rump we need on Beverly
Hills.
Yeah, because she was really going in, you know, because he was actually shocked because
he thought his line was just going to work.
And he was like, I apologize.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm going to apologize.
What more do you want me to do?
I apologize, which is kind of a good parallel to the stasi situation, right? Like this thing
Like you do something wrong and then you think just by saying oh sorry like you're
Exonerated without really realizing what you've done, you know
Yeah, like people are allowed it just because you apologize doesn't mean people aren't allowed to be mad at you or upset with you
Yeah, and you can't have don't give that attitude to Lisa van Rumpum because she's the boss in many ways of the restaurant
and the show and you are late.
So don't give her attitude, Jack's, she's British.
Do you ever think if Jack's really fucked up,
like would she get rid of him off the show?
Like if he did something personally to her.
I mean, because he's like kind of the center piece
of the show a little bit.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Well, that's a thing.
Is that Lisa? Here she is being like, he's never been rude to me.
I can't believe you would do this.
It's like, lady, you've had him there for six years.
He's stolen your booze.
He's awful.
It's well, well documented.
Any voice in the channel.
Yeah, he's gone to jail.
He has a felony.
And like, he's always been like, well, Jackson.
You know, but he's the best part.
It's so hard to find a good bartender like that scamp.
That's scala wag.
Um, and then it's just like if no one's going to call this guy up for it, I'm like an
asshole, then I'm going to do it myself.
You're not in great loss.
I'll go home, get out of my face, asshole face.
Uh, again, it's like, I don't know, maybe I'm being, maybe I'm being over sensitive or whatever,
but it kind of bothered me that she got, she was angrier about this than the saucy thing,
you know?
I see.
Yeah, I mean, you're totally right.
I didn't think about it as I was watching, but now that you say it, it's like, yeah, why
wasn't she upset with Stasi?
But I think Vanderbomb always just knows how she's like producing the show as she's in the
show.
And so I think she knows that she has to get Stasi back in the good graces of viewers.
And if she doesn't stick up for Stasi a little bit, then Stasi's on her way up.
Because Stasi's the most indispensable right now.
And so I'm sure she knew that. She knows Jax isn't going anywhere.
So I think she found that to be a good moment to kind of lay into Jacks.
Right.
And I mean, I think the show is good.
I'm glad the show addressed it and the show played the audio because that really needs
to be aired.
And I do, I mean, I am hopeful and I do believe that Sassy probably has grown from it in terms
of learning like, oh shit, this is not right.
But I do think though, she has to like, what Sassy has to work on is how she responds
to people because, you know Because she said really ignorant shit.
And even if she has improved her worldview, which I hope she has, she has to learn that
she put it out there and people are going to be hurt by it.
And you just have to accept that people are hurt and be like, yeah, no, I'm really sorry
I shouldn't have said that.
Just do that.
Eat a croak a little bit.
You just have to kind of eat it.
Yeah, eat it.
Like we all have. I mean, you know, that grow a little bit like you just have to kind of eat it. Yeah, eat it like we all have. I mean, we you know, that's being a real adult
star see that's it. My little star see. That's it. Yeah. Um, so back at Sir Jack's there with the triplets who've had sort of their
makeover. Do you know what they're here? They sort of had like a Don Johnson look going on, you know, like three. Yeah. Like, if Miami Vice were filmed in Eulie instead,
you win.
You win, you win, vice.
You win, vice.
I've watched that.
I like those boys.
I think they're so fun and sweet.
And they've seen like nice guys and people that I recognize from,
you know, from back home and stuff.
Yeah.
That's why I hope seeing those triplets.
Yeah, they, they really,
I really, they really remind me of Alan and the chipmunks. And I know that may sound maybe
derogatory to their bad teeth, but like, I mean, because of the cuteness of them, they're like,
you know, they're, what did you say about the Chuddly? Chuddly, they're Chuddly.
Yeah, Chuddly is more like, I feel like Chuddly is, yeah, I think they actually are Chuddly, they're very Chuddly.
They're Chuddly a little bit, I think.
Yeah, I think so.
I mean, I don't know that I need like a whole show about them,
but I like them popping in and out.
Yeah, and I liked that we didn't get too much of them.
We just got just enough a little taste of honey.
We don't need the whole beehive.
A taste of chide.
So Jack's is there and he's like on he's he's all like I don't
see what the big deal is it's a bunch of like rich people getting free drinks they don't really need
me there. It's like dude that's not the point the point is that like you know that this is Lisa's
night and she wants her kids to be able to celebrate with her instead they're working it you know.
Yeah. Um and we got a little we got a little dodi moment too over there.
Oh, yeah, we got some dodi. We got some shina. It was a breath of fresh air for me.
Yeah, they come in, they come in a little bit later, um, because the whole thing ends there,
but this is the part though where Jack says he's just trying to somehow get off,
not get off, but he's trying to, I mean, he's always trying to get off, but he's trying to be
exonerating. He's like, listen, tell me what I've done differently
than all my friends.
They've all cheated, they've all lied,
they've all been late to work,
they've all slept with each other,
at which point he then raises a corona to his mouth
and chips his tooth.
Yeah, that was when he had no shoe or sock on.
That was his barefoot moment.
Yeah, it was barefoot jack's tessa.
That was apparently there was like a bunion situation
there too.
It was huge.
I cannot believe you.
I mean, you are so blessed to have missed that visual
because it will haunt me for the rest of my life.
Like there was a huge bunion situation.
The big toenail, something was going on.
It was a lot.
It was a lot for me to look at.
And I swear I was up all night.
I did not sleep.
I was just visually that was in my head.
Yeah.
I woke up and it was my phone screensaver.
I didn't make it.
It just was.
Ha, ha, ha, ha, just shut up.
It was like you went on to your laptop
and there was like a bunch of jacks bunions flying
like little toasters, you know?
It's haunting me everywhere I look.
It's just like jacks is bunion.
Now, when he says that, you know, his friends
they've all cheated and lied
and been late to work and stuff with each other,
he's not exactly wrong,
but what do you think is the differentiating factor
with Jackson?
Wow, I think,
gosh, I don't wanna sound mean,
but I think Jackson's just not as,
like smarter put together.
So he's given a little bit more of a pass for being,
like a cheater and
everything because we we as an audience like it. I'm like, Oh, he's dumb. You know, we
don't feel like he's got the mental capacity to really grasp hold, grab hold of these concepts.
Yeah. And so when it's someone like sand of all like sand of all, we know he, he doesn't
seem stupid like sand of all seems like he might do some stupid things now and then
but he seems like a well-smoking well-smoked guy. Yeah, okay. Yeah.
I am. Jack is shuttling and he's smoking but smoking sort of that works to it. There's like a
smoke and quality. Uh, everyone else, you know, Jack gets more of a pass. I think the issue is that
Jack doesn't internalize anything he does or he's not introspective, he doesn't think about it, he's not remorseful if anything he feels
entitled by his behavior and he like pushes back when someone is like, hey, you did this and he's
like, so, so what, you know. Real quick though, it's also because he's a man and I hate to get a
Lala on us. Do it. How could you be? He hates to be Lala. do it? But it's like the men get so much more
of past like these men have all cheated on their significant others. And we as an audience
just looking at them like, Oh, that's silly. But you know, Stasi yells at someone or
something and we're like, Oh, she's such a bitch, you know, and it's like, you know,
Stasi didn't do well aside from the me two. Let's choose another example.
It's not from her like racist comments
and me to problematic.
Listen, I would say she's she's named after the German secret police, okay.
What else can expect?
But men just get a more of a pass for all of these things in society in this show and this
show is just reflection of that.
And it's like so jacks can do the most awful things, but so can sandal a shorts has done some really awful things. Yeah. And he just so like,
oh, that's short. See, you know, he even Vanderpump says, oh, short see. And it's like,
yeah, he actually did awful things. He put it. Girlfriend's head twice. Oh no, I'm sorry.
Once on Stasi, once on Katie, but like, I agree. I do think that the men get more of
a pass because even though, again, like St Stasi said some really she thinks on her podcast or whatever and people
just were like we were getting things like you know like boycott Stasi never say her name
this or that that that that that that that that that that that but no one says that stuff
ever whenever a guy does something wrong and any of these shows and if anything like
the people and even look like the thing And if anything, like the people,
and even look, like the thing with faith,
everyone's like faith is such a desperate, dead,
dead out, people come down on,
it's like they always, it's always going after the girls.
And you're right, you guys do get a pass.
Wow.
And you know, as Lala said, a couple episodes ago,
episodes ago, enough, enough.
Enough, enough.
And then she put on her boxing gloves and be there, her boxing gloves and listen to some J-Lo.
So then the next bombshell, the episode happens, which is Katie comes up to Lisa and she's like
all out of sorts more than usual. And apparently Kevin Lee, she she she Beverly Hills, Kevin Lee,
she she she darling. Darling. Party plan up stars. Um, he went up to Katie and
It was it was so mean, but like almost like hilariously mean because it was like
Because it was again another example of someone being totally tone deaf. He's like he sees Kitty goes what happened?
You are much thinner than this you gain a little bit of weight
You have to work on this seriously. I'm telling you was a friend. It's out of control. I goes, what happened? You are much thinner than this. You gained a little bit of weight.
You have to work on this.
Seriously, I'm telling you, as a friend,
it's out of control, I can tell.
What happened?
So fat, you and that leg, girl.
Yeah.
I loved it because it reminded me and my grandmother
made she rest in peace.
But she used to always tell any of us
when we were gaining weight.
And it wasn't, gosh, I hate that.
I'm not even, I don't mean to stick up for Kevin Lee here. After all, this entire thing that the men get off easy.
No, I know. No, because I'm relating it back to my grandmother. When my grandmother would do
this, so she would always tell any, like, any of her kids or her grandkids or anyone, she'd
say, you know, you're gaining weight. And she would do it in the most insensitive way.
But where she was coming from was like, not that you look overweight. She was coming out of it like, I know you gained weight because of A, B, and C. Does that
make sense?
Yeah.
So again, what do you say?
It was just spiky.
And he has no, Kevin Lee has no place saying that.
Yeah, it should be for her.
Listen, for someone who is like, can put on such a beautiful event and has all that money
from being a party planet to the stars.
He's got to get a better hair piece, okay?
Before you start talking about anyone's way, fix your hair piece.
I mean, he should, he had no, he has no relationship with Katie, so he should not send any of that
to her.
Again, I was just talking about my grandmother, not Kevin Lee.
What he did was just mickable.
But also didn't also feel to you like this, that was set up a little bit like they wanted to get Katie's story
Maybe I don't think so because they would have gotten it on camera. I mean they got the audio
But they would have gotten the whole moment on camera. I don't I think it was um
You know Katie's been up in front with her story about falling through a plate glass window because it's kind of a funny transition
Because Katie's like obviously shook up by this justifiably so and
Lisa's like, but remember remember when you fell through a plate glass window
It's kind of like a strange transition
Because she that's where she got her scarf from and then we get into Kays
Backstory about you know falling through the skylight and she fell 25 feet and lost to you.
How did that happen?
Do you know?
That's what I would like to know.
See, that's the thing.
How does one fall through a skylight?
I mean, I'm imagining she was wasted at some douchey LA party at a rooftop, right?
Yeah.
Yeah, I don't know.
She seems so young, though.
Yeah.
It was such a beautiful moment to see from Katie and it just felt so real and
it felt like we were getting a vulnerable side of Katie.
And also when she was going up to Lisa Van Opumb, I felt like she was so much more
put together and stronger than I would have been.
If somebody, you know, like when my grandma used to call me fat, I would, you know,
I would lose it.
I don't know how it's hard.
I felt like she kept it together so much better than I would have if somebody had
just called me fat.
Yeah. I mean, yeah, she did a pretty good job.
But I also thought Lisa, you know, Lisa Vanderpom's point, the reason why she brought the plate glass window,
because you're like, what is one of, you know, I'm like, you're trying not to fat-name her,
and you're talking about how she fell through a roof.
But the thing is really what she was talking about was like how Katie kept her scar
because she wanted to always remember that turning point in her life. And at least it was like,
don't you remember at that moment you kept your scar to say, this is me, this is who I am,
and that's who you are, I want that confidence back. I thought that was actually a really nice moment, you know?
Yeah. Yeah, that whole moment was very, it was nice. It was nice to see that from Katie, it was
nice to see Vanderpump. I like when she's the caregiver
to these people.
Yeah.
I think she is, I think she is a caregiver sometimes.
So now we had that big moment where James Kennedy
was in his Danny Boyle movie, being like,
I gotta go, I gotta go, I gotta,
I'm not the gig around the corner.
I gotta walk 25 feet, that's as far as Katie fell.
I gotta go, I gotta go.
James ran. Yeah, he's like, tonight, see you next Tuesday, tonight. Come see me. See you
next Tuesday. I'm like, you're not playing at the Mayan downtown. It's like, I know. There's
a small little space with like, have you been to Surah by the way? I have. Yes. I have too many
times. I actually like the food there, which is controversial, but I like the food. The bathrooms are not for me.
But I love those bathrooms.
It's seen a lot.
And I don't like the pump food.
I actually like the pump food more than the surf food.
I've only had a full dinner at surf once, and I had an enchilada, which was perfectly
nice, but it was totally ineligant. It was like a big thing for them to serve there. I didn't even know they
had an enchilada. Well that's the thing the menu at least when I went was like very
basic. It was like meatloaf or it was like meatloaf or salmon with broccoli or
you can get an enchilada so it's like I'm gonna get an enchilada. Yeah. Because
everything was also wildly overpriced except for the insolata, and at that time,
I was like, I'm not gonna, I don't have a lot of money,
and I'm not gonna waste it on an overpriced dried out piece
of salmon, so my insolata seems safe,
and it was really good, but it was like this giant insolata
with like under a mound of coleslaw,
and it was just the sort of thing
that should have been served at like a fast casual restaurant, you know,
and the fact that served tries to be fancy and chic and then serves this totally analogant, you know,
angelada under a pile of colsa, which immediately tastes good to me. It was like, this is a kitchen
that's not in tune with the restaurant. Yeah, well in the bathrooms like a gas station bathroom. See,
we're shoes to stick to the bottom of the floor.
Well, in the bathrooms like a gas station bathroom see we're shoes stick to the bottom of the floor
So they should definitely not be so ring like fancy meals there. Yeah, exactly
but on anyway, so James goes to his thing and the triplets are there they've been they've been made over by Tom and
And they wanted to request a song. That's all they wanted. Yeah, and then we request a song? And James's like, you guys can, you guys can,
you guys are the VIP, you got the VIP,
and you pay, V, V, V, am I going Australian?
I think I might be going Australian. V, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I But I love how James acts truly as if he's a star DJ at Coachella at all times.
He's like, I met all the boys and the boys are going to party with J.K.
What Kanye West's got it right now?
They can make the request of the VIP.
They get to listen.
If you want to listen to anything from Pump Sessions volume one, you just let me know.
Oh my gosh.
And then meanwhile there's like five people there, all production.
Yeah. Yeah, he's like, I'm pretty sure they've never seen something like, see you next Tuesday.
I'm pretty sure, I'm like, what exactly are they seeing?
It's like 20 people at a bar and go cheese balls floating around.
And that part of the restaurant is so small.
So it's like, it's still looked empty to me.
And it's such a small area
that I'm like, if it looked empty on TV, and I've been to that area, it's like, fine.
It's like, I mean, it looks fine. I'm sure it was like a fine little party thing, but don't
like those, those sort of like DJ setups had a lounge or a dime a dozen in Los Angeles, you know.
So, um, Sasi arrives at the parties
over as she arrives and she's, I really like this.
She sits on a bench, she's like,
every time I sit here, I feel obese.
Which is the worst, most toned-off time to bring this up.
So Katie, how are you feeling tonight?
I feel so fat right now.
But I actually really identified with her,
because I think we've all had those benches where you sit on them, you feel just totally fat. You're like, I feel so fat right now, but I actually really identified with her because I think we've all had those benches
Where you sit on them you feel just totally fat. I hate myself. He's just a downward spiral and honestly like every seat at Sir
You feel obese because they're all wobbly
Like every seating every chair there. It feels like it's on its last leg
Truly they have that weird where the booth is, they have that weird,
those weird tables that are like Barbie doll tables.
So they're not, they're size people.
It's like, I don't understand.
You're like sitting, you're like squatting,
you're like on a squatty potty or something
and like your stomach starts to like come out
and you're like, what's wrong with me?
Like, why can't I work out?
Like why, like this wouldn't be an issue
if I just were better with my eating.
Like, why can't I have any sort of like discipline with myself and why am I not getting
out of my writing career?
And this really what my life is like, I shouldn't even be here.
Everything, everything being rediscovered in your brain when that happens at those tables
because they're just so small and I don't understand them.
I don't understand them either.
So Katie tells Kristen's and Stasi about the Kevin Lee situation and they're all mad.
And this is when Stasi, like, first of all, who does he think he is to say what the
perfect body type is?
I'm like, again, this is where truly if Stasi weren't already sitting on the OB-SPANCH,
she should take a seat.
Yeah.
Oh, it's only because he's not at the table.
Yeah.
And not because what she's saying is wrong, but because it's like
Please like apply this to your podcast right now. That's all we ask
Yeah
And so you know, I can Christians like only people who raid themselves say that shit. Uh, you know
Kristen trying to get in the mix there. She's really trying
She was and then Stasi's like I'm so glad we're talking about what Kevin Lee said to you because guess what?
I'm so fucking done with like people say I'm racist and closed mind to whatever and
then they're like, they all start to like console her.
That pivot was tough.
I felt like, you know, Stasi, this is not your moment.
This is Katie's moment to deal with Kevin Lee fall out.
We do not need to hear about your podcast right now.
Exactly.
And now Stasi's pissed at Ariana.
I'm like, oh, I thought this whole podcast thing,
we're gonna have an arc where in the end,
by the end of the episode, Stasi was gonna be like,
you know what, I said some shitty things,
I didn't realize, but I'm glad people checked me
because now I know, and that's what life is about,
but instead the whole thing, yeah,
the whole thing was basically to establish that she and Ariana are gonna life is about. But instead, the whole thing, yeah, the whole thing was basically to establish
that she and Ariana are gonna have a feud.
Which is what I expect from these kids.
Yeah, yeah.
She was like, I'm ripping off my eyelashes again,
just like last time.
So now, sort of like as the episode comes into its final stretch
here, the gang is like sitting out front
and Jack's just starts going off on Kristen.
Just going off super aggro.
What do you think was going on, Jacks?
He seemed like he had maybe just eaten some pasta.
I mean, the adults just ate some pasta.
He was very aggressive in that scene, right?
He was.
He was talking about how Kristen is the worst and how terrible she is and that she's talking to Brittany. And then he was very aggressive in that scene, right? He was, he was talking about how Christmas the worst and how terrible she is and that she's talking to Brittany.
And then he was like mocking Brittany.
Did you notice that?
Yeah, I don't, I don't even know that he,
I, it almost felt like a blind rage, right?
I don't know that he knew what he was saying or,
oh, I, it just felt like he was yelling
and he was, he was hyper.
I don't know.
Yeah.
That scene was weird to me,. Jack's in that scene.
He didn't seem drunk because when you're drunk, you're a little more sloppy to think.
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
But Kristen thankfully brought some lack of awareness because she's like, everything's
always my fault.
It's like, I'm this lightning rod for Jack's hatred.
Like, well, to be fair, everything kind of is your fault.
Oh, I love her.
Oh, my God.
I love her so much.
Chris and his iconic, she was trying to get in there.
Yeah, I mean, she is good for flying people and she flew in, she said she was actively
trying to break up their relationship.
So, you know, she's a friend about it now.
We just need her, we need her to cheat with one of them or, you know, we need her to
have a main fight with one of these people.
And that jacks, because jacks will just kind of let it slide off his back like he doesn't really hold on to stuff too much
Well doesn't someone throw a drink in her face later this season didn't we see that in the trailer?
I didn't know that no I did I don't have to go look at the trailer again
I don't remember that I could be confabulating maybe just wishful thinking
It's a cross. I'm saying a prayer right now. Yeah, so jacks is just going off and then Brittany finally has to come down and it's like
Jack's stop it. Jack's stopping disrespectful about women. Jack's stopping disrespectful about women. I'm like good luck on that front.
Jack's she flew in my mom Sherry and that's a good thing. That's a good thing.
People in Los Angeles have to learn about why lip stick. I'm not going to get mad at someone for finding my mom and my sister because that is a
good thing.
Sherry came all the way from Kentucky.
God bless Sherry and her very stereotypical accent.
I know, we're Sherry.
We're Sherry.
And her stereotypical advice to pertinent too, which was just you should pray about it.
Pray about it. He said he was beating himself up about it and he doesn't like himself, so that means he can change.
So I would say try to fix him again.
Yeah, just, my boyfriend cheated on me. What do I do? Just pray about it.
Pray about it. I prayed about it. I think you guys should get back together.
Oh, God.
I want to be on TV some more, so you all should get back together.
Yeah.
God bless Gina, by the way, for just leveling with Jackson.
Jacks!
You're almost 40.
Your heart can't take this any longer.
Yes.
Oh, that was a good little dig by Gina.
Yeah.
So the next day, there's like a little scene at Cadian Tom's apartment where Cadie talks about the Kevin Lee thing, and she has a little monologue about how it's like a little scene at at Katie and Tom's apartment where Katie's
talks about the Kevin Lee thing and she has a little monologue about how it's
taken a while for her to be body positive and now she's like working really hard
on herself and like a flashback of like yesterday Katie was at the day more
who was like listen guys she's not lying she went to a gym yeah I thought that
was weird like did they accidentally have that footage of her at the gym?
Like they were filming it for something else and then like,
oh, that's perfect.
Because it was just perfect timing.
Like I thought it was great.
Yeah, it was good for her.
So she does a whole monologue about like what the most
important thing is feeling good within your own skin
and you know, being happy with how you look.
And it's like great.
So let's go do that.
Makeover by Priv for the triplets, right? Which yeah, Prive is on
every show on Bravo at this point. Yeah, you know, it's a
matter of time before James Lipton is interviewing the
Prive and Boys. Your choice, your choice with the triplets
that was wonderful. What went through your mind? What was going
in three? They've been on every show. It's like, what is this priv thing?
They've even been on Summer House for crying out loud.
So, where I've looked, I've seen priv members.
Do you watch Summer House, by the way?
I do, yeah.
I like it.
I like it.
I don't love it, but I like it a lot.
Last season, I love this season.
I'm just liking.
I'm waiting to love it.
But I think it's going to get there.
So, the show closes with Jack's visiting
his raky therapist, Kelsey Patel.
And she's sitting very, very close to him.
And Jack says that he's seen two therapists,
one a real therapist, and the other one is Kelsey.
Because Kelsey sees the good in Jack's,
which she must have a very strong vision, I think.
And this might sound stupid. This may be a stupid question, but they're setting us up to think that Jax and this woman are
gonna hook up or something, right? I think they are trying to set up, but I don't think that's gonna happen.
I don't either. Which I don't like, don't tease us with that because it's not gonna happen. I don't either. Which I agree, I don't like, don't tease us with that because it's not gonna happen, I don't think.
Yeah, I don't know, I just feel like I'm getting that from them
and I didn't know if I was just imagining it
because he sleeps with everyone or.
Yeah.
I feel like, I feel like don't introduce this notion to us
unless it's gonna lead to something.
Okay, I don't need unnecessary Kelsey Patel footage, you know?
Yeah.
But either way, Jack starts blaming, he basically
aims all his problems on modeling about coming out LA
and LA, the constant rejection and feeling like he's not good enough
and then when he does get something, he feels like a prop
and he's just used in everything and Kelsey's like, yeah, kind of felt like it sounded like bullshit to me.
Yeah. I mean, it was bullshit.
I feel a lot of what he said, everything he says is bullshit.
I feel like it tells people what they want to hear in the moment.
Yeah. I think he was saying something that made Kelsey be like, yeah, no, no, you
went through, you know, you brought this on yourself, but you know, you can unravel
it yourself. You can fix it yourself, whatever.
And she's like, you can unravel it yourself you can fix it yourself whatever and she's like you can learn jacks better and he's like no you can call me Jason call me Jason call me Jason
call me by my name Jason call me by my name I'm going to make out with myself um which is
close to he's like he's brand he's he's rebranding as Jason and I don't know he just seems so lost to me a little bit
He is lost, but it's I don't know if he's worth finding
He's obviously lost and he is a disaster. Yeah, yeah
I don't know and that's where it ended on the very sensual note with Kelsey Patel and the Raky studio and
Will Jackson
aka Jason be finding Jason. It's like that old song by Charlene
He's never been to I've never been to me. Jack says, Jack's has never been to Jason.
Welcome to me. Welcome to me. Danny, thank you so much for coming on to this podcast.
You're, you're a delight. You are like the anti-antiser. You are sophisticated and elegant and wonderful.

I talk about Bravo and pop culture stuff and had some great Bravo guests and all that yeah
Who are some of the guests you've had on recently? Oh, I recently had Brandy Glanville on okay, she was wonderful
I've had Teddy Melon camp. I had Lee and Lacka and I did like a whole hour and 20 minutes with Lee and Lacka
She's fabulous and you guys it is good. We talk about miscongeniality for like 20 minutes
because she was in that.
Oh my God.
Leanne is like the gift that keeps on giving us
where to go.
She is just fantastic.
She's so good.
You know what?
It really interested me about her interview.
She said she studies these shows to make a good show.
So to make her show good, she studies all these other ones.
And so she picks apart these,
you know, these women and you have to listen. It's really interesting and she talks about her story
with, you know, she has a really colored past and everything. It gets emotional at one point,
she cries, it's good. Really? Yeah, it's interesting. It'll make you like her. And Brandy Glenn,
Vizel's also super interesting too, because she just kind of threw some dirt on everyone and
and Brandy Glenvin is also super interesting too, because she just kind of threw some dirt on everyone.
Yeah.
Are you gonna watch celebrity Big Brother?
I think so.
I think so.
I'm gonna check it out.
I'll start it.
Yeah, start it and see where we're at.
Yeah, I agree.
I think I'm going to watch with reservations,
because I'm a, I'm a purist and I like the classic Big Brother.
And I don't, I'm not so sure I want to get involved with some weird three-week condensed version, but
I feel like this is something I should check out.
I watched this Liberty Big Brother UK editions before, and they're really good.
But it all depends on the cast.
I don't know if it'll depend on if this cast is good or not.
Yeah, we'll see.
We'll see.
Well, Danny, thank you so much. You, thank you for coming on.
