I just, I was beside myself, but before we dive into that, because we're going to do a dive, a big old Giovanni dive into the season finale, of course, we must mention the fact that a week from today, we are doing a show in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach. of New York City. Wow. We open, we open. Wait, before we even open, I just want, I have to wax nostalgic on the season, on the show. I was watching this thing last night and I was like, this is such great entertainment. Watching D'Arenda scowling from the audience

as Lil'Anne is having a big moment, this is stuff that like literally movies, famous movies are made off of these sort of moments. And to watch it unfurling, it's just, it's so brilliant. I actually truly, truly believe this show deserves an Emmy nomination in some category. Like, I'm not even being like Lib or being Jokey, I actually really believe the storytelling on this show is so like above and beyond most scripted shows that I think it needs to be recognized.

You know, also in the hair and makeup category, because a lot of movies aren't recognized for the brilliance that they are. You know, they're recognized for things like special effects. And this is one of those movie shows. If this were a movie, it would be recognized for special effects. I mean, watching Dorenda literally turn into the swamp monster. Look, she starts up so cute. And then by the end of this, her hair is a mess, her makeup is all over her. I mean, she really just,

she looks like she's just ate a plate of spaghetti, put it in her hair, kind of wiped it out. I mean she looks fucking crazy. Like she's gonna crawl out of a swamp. And I thought, you know, this is like the best horror movie makeup we've seen on this show in a long time. Yeah, it's like a drag me to cabaret. It's so so good. I don't know. I just I love this show. I just I it's so hidden shoulders above everything else and you know the ongoing battle which show is better you know for Bravo supremacy. Real House has a New York, Vanderpump rules. Gosh, it is so hard because they scratch totally different itches and are so both of them are so consistently good in so many ways. I don't know, but I think right now I think have to say Real House has a

New York. I don't know. It's just it's just too good. Yeah, it's a great show and it was a great finale. I thought this is going to be boring because who can be mean to each other at the countess is opening. You have to be nice to each other. That's an event you have to be kind. You know, it's like your friend worked, you know, did all this, whatever. Think of what you will of Luann and I know the opinions are all over the place on L internet because I breathe it. I subscribe. But, you still have to be nice to her, you know. It's like being mean that someone's wedding. Like, you can't end a show on a wedding. Yeah, exactly. Yeah makes me think back a few months ago, back in April, remember when I had the breathless tale of running into Countess Luan and Lisa Rina having lunch

together and I talked to them. One thing that I think I forgot to mention on that episode when I detailed that whole story. I may have mentioned another show, but it's always stuck with me. And for some reason, I didn't mention on the show, but she said, Luanne was like, well, where do you watch the rest of the season? I had a low point, but then I rise like a Phoenix. And I just loved the fact that she just gave herself the Phoenix stamp.

She's like, she's like, I rise like a Phoenix. And so watching this episode of her like self-proclaimed, self-enointing rising of a Phoenix and watching Durinda like gnarling her teeth together and touch anger, just knowing it just makes it so poetic on some level. So fascinating, so entertaining, so hilarious. You know, one woman is like, she's like, I've done it, I've arrived, I've reached reached the plan a high holy plateau and another one is just so

So furious Brilliant. Yes, so let's start the show Yeah, we hear some piano tinkling and we know it to rehearsal time and We hear let's do the whole thing again Which has been the director and we hear, let's do the whole thing again. Which has been the director. And me on my couch being like, let's just start the season over. Yeah, well, I mean, I was very excited

because truly the first thing we truly truly heard were the, you know, those fantastic, you know, anthemic moments, opening bars of Sheik's Haylovey, Lays and Gentlemen. This is the calendar speaking. We have arrived. I was like, oh my God. This is like my eyes are only back into my head and we're only like three milliseconds into the episode. But then it segues into the soundtrack. Yeah, so um, she walks in and like a liza glittery jacket and just as I was writing la, he goes, LASER! This guy Ben cracks me down.

He is hilarious. You can see he's having so much fun with this. He's like, oh my god, I can't believe I'm like, some people would be like, I can't believe this is where my career is taking me. I am like directing a cabaret show for a reality star, but he understands. He's like one of us. He understands how amazing this is and he's like whatever. I'm just gonna have fun with this. Count as Luan. Yeah, he said the same thing to himself just in a better voice like, oh my God, look where my career is taking me. Directed to the cabaret for the win. So Luan is so excited about her show that night and she's like, I mean, I can't wait for the women to see my lineup. I'm like, for someone who just got off jail, I'm not sure that's the correct phrase to use.

So she's like I'm beyond excited. Alright Ben I need to go over the names. I need to remember these names. She's like Rachel Drat. Okay Rachel Drat. Yes Bridget something oh Bridget all right. Who else? Julie Roberts is like now Lars Manellie now now don't be Queen Elizabeth. She'll be there now what now Cheetah Rivera now Joan Dedean Bridget Nielsen Now Joan de Dianne Ruth Bader Ginsburg she's great, isn't she?

She could be fostering notorious RBG and he's like well here's what I'm worried about Join us if you talk to Sonia, she's like well, I did talkia. She really is getting ready for a caperay

with her repetition of things. And it's hilarious to be. She's just, she got a laugh from snatched guard once. So it's like material that she's working on. You know, she just keeps bringing it keeps saying it over and over again Yeah, and so that you know ultimately she's like, well, you know what if so any acts up she acts up But you know what it's cabaret life is a cabaret. I believe there's a famous song called that life is a cabaret Maybe this time jazz in the kick out club

Maybe this time, jazz in the Kit Kat Club. Just a reminder to Luan and anybody else out there who might think this is a happy song, life is a cap, right? Everybody is tortured at the end, okay? It's the saddest thing that ever happened for the musical. Yeah, it is like a devastating musical. I mean, she is so burdened all the all the time with you know the pressures of show business You know she needs to take a page from Ramona's book which is to spend more time in the nail salon You know what I live here I practically live here. been a performer, girls. Ever since I was a little girl, I would sing at the dinner table or when I was in high school, I used to perform stuff for the football team or, you know, take my time at FIT when I was pretending to go to FIT. I mean, so many times I performed, girls. So many times I would just, you know, entertain people at the piano and, you know, I do sing song skits right off the top of my head like Mary had a little lamb who she fucked, who she fucked, am I right boys?

Love is love, right boys? She's like, I gotta be honest. Um, you know, oh she goes, she told me she didn't want to be a snatch guard, whatever that is. I'm not going to show up. So I didn't really realize this as I was watching this show, but every scene starts with someone getting their hair and makeup today. I guess it's like they're getting ready. So Luann is getting her hair and makeup. Wait, I just wait before Luana though, I do want to say Bethany was she actually was doing something to see and she was talking about Carol and she's basically like, she's

like, you know, because she's gonna be seeing Carol and she's like, you know what? Like she's just not in that into me anymore. You know what? And I'm a lot, I'm a lot, I'm toxic. You know, I'm like, I'm a piece of shit. I'm like a piece of shit that fell out of Ramona in Cartagena. But it's me. It's like me. I'm like, the piece of shit. I'm toxic. I'm a toxic piece of shit that came out of Ramona in Cartagania, but it's me. It's like me. I'm like the piece of shit I'm toxic. I'm a toxic piece of shit. I can't move street coconut. So even if I fuck up, people will still be like, you're you because I'm doing me. So life is a Cabaret. Oh, geez. Just anything she's now just subscribing to Cabaret. Well, you know, even if I fall off the wagon and do a few lines,

it's Cabaret. You know, anything goes and Cabaret. Ugh. So they're like- It's hilarious, like, you look great, mom. It's like, how? this lipstick is cabaret red. It's almost like it was meant for today. This lipstick is making me rise like a Phoenix.

With you see it on stage, it comes alive. That's what happens in cabaret. Your lips, they all are singing. She meant Dorinda this whole time. Like the minute she comes on state it's alive. Yeah, yeah, yeah, so meanwhile we then go over to Tinsley in her penthouse and she's she's trying to open up a bottle of champagne and renda shows up and Tinsley starts talking

about how this is all being in the penthouse. Oh, it's bittersweet because I love it. It's huge and I can have people over and have little plates of pursuit around. It's not here. Yeah. I mean, I can have friends here and I can order cheese plates from room service. Well, I like that she's bringing it full circles or her tagline, you know I could get brum service Which is such a bad tagline She's really committed to her you know arc the season which is getting cheese plates from room service

Going up a few floors in the elevator So Durinda she's like oh Can you show me open up the champagne? There's the guy, one to VHR, so is VHR. He has to do this, grab a champagne and just go, jadani! You're gonna startle that cork right off. And VHR is from 14th, age 22, okay? Let me practice on you. Hi, my name is Nurela.

And the only reason I'm saying this is because I know, like it's annoying to be calling someone an alcoholic for like an hour a week, every week. But I don't say it in a bad way. I mean, I'm literally taking Durinda in my real life.

Like last night I had dinner with a friend, and I'm like, I'll have another Durinda. And then I'm like, let's get reallyorenta tonight. You know I'm using her as a verb now and a noun and I just I just I just want to say that like sometimes in life you have to really stop and be grateful and acknowledge what you're grateful for and I'm grateful for Dorenta. I'm very grateful for Dorenta. I really love her I actually find her to be very warm and maternal. However, I do think that she really, she messed up in Columbia.

The way she attacked Luan was uncalled for, like I said it already before, but the punishment did not fit the crime and it was a perceived crime. And she was really, really nasty for basically a slight thing that Luan said that could have been taken either way. I actually don't think it was the way she took it, but even if it was, it didn't deserve

Durinda just, you know, saying that the throwing, the nastiest things in Luan's face, that was actually really bad. And I don't, I feel like Durinda doesn't truly understand that, which bothers me. But in this case, I also think I'm actually a little bit on Dorenda's side with this whole situation. Although it seems a little murky, the information. So basically, Dorenda's upset because- That's how she says it.

She's like, yeah, it was a good idea. Yeah, yeah, it was murky at that. It's like, I actually understand, I mean, this we're jumping ahead a little bit. I understand Luan, and I understand that there was clearly a miscommunication, which I don't know why they can't just like understand that there was a miscommunication,

because we've had situations with our shows before. We made jokes earlier, but we've had situations where like, you know, a show is sold out, and we only get a certain number of comps, and then all of a sudden the day up or two days before like all of a sudden people, everyone wants a comp, like, oh my god, can I get a list of it? And it's actually, it's annoying, you know, because we have, like, other stuff we have to deal with it.

But it's also, it's annoying, but it's also not something that's like, oh, I can't handle it. I mean, you can deal with it. But the truth is, sometimes, like, there really are no more seeds, and there's not much else you can do. But that being said.

Yeah, when I say I love Durrond, I'm not saying Durrond is right. I'm just saying I really love Durrond. I'm like, hey, Durrond is about to get drunk before the party and make an ass out of herself. So I was like, yes, do it, do it. Oh, yeah, me too. I never want to change.

I don't want to go to rehab. But so Durrond is upset because she wanted to bring John to the event. And she reached out to Luan and Luan was like, it's like, no, there's no room for him. So, but what makes it worse and what sort of undermines everything I just said 30 seconds ago is that Luan then invited Scott the day of to the cabaret. So, what do I do? Oh!

Durrinda was so upset that she used to Shannon Bedore note because Tensley's like, hey, guess what my story line is today? I'm wearing pants! I'm everywhere pants! She's like, is John coming tonight? And Durrinda goes, no! No? No! And then we got to see Tensley get frazzled as she like races to the door because Carol's at the door and I'm like, nah, nah, and then Tinsley's like she's just talking to herself. Yeah

It's gonna be a good episode. It's gonna be so good. Yeah So then Carol comes in she's like what else do you wear to a Luan show? Yeah, yeah, she and Durinda do sort of match. She turns like oh my god you guys have the, you guys have the same color story. But they do, they sort of have these like greens and reds and yellows and you know, sparkling. And Karen Durinda loves her outfit and you can tell because she sounds like male whales mating. She's like, oh. Oh.

Oh. Oh. Oh. You know how they make weird like clicking noises underwater? Oh You know how they like make weird like clicky noises underwater. I was just I was just trying to add another dimension to your whale impersonation Thank you made it real made it real for me like echoing So now now Dorainda starts to get into the full story about with Luan and John So Dorainda says she called the land to see if John could come. And LeWan's reaction was, well, you should have asked months ago. And we were like, well, I wasn't thinking about months ago. We were going to see guys in Puerto Rico telling that guy, who did I think about guys'

students from Haiti? That's what I see. Like Haiti, like kids from Haiti that go with the cowards. Come on! And so according to Jorinda, LeWan said, if you really wanted him to come, you should have bought it too. Yes, you should have bought it too. Yes. How's she going?

She's like, my chicken. Me, my chicken. Hey, Emmyn Carol reminds her why she should really be mad. She's like, but didn't you get all of her outfits for her? I was like, hey, you thousand and thousand dollars in no crack is for her to wear any. Thanks, Vanny. I just imagined Durinda turning to the camera like a Mentos commercial every time I'm going Especially when you're as good friends as they got reward.
