I'm not going to get home, I'm going to drink this course light and then not be drunk at all. Hey listeners. This is your friend, Uncle Allen. She's got wild turkey. I just want to invite you to come and hang out, listen to some Bob Seeger, aka Uncle Rock and drink some Corzell Light, aka Uncle Beer. This is definitely an Uncle Boof. Oh boy, here we go. Oh, that's nice. That was nice. Thank you for this beer.

It is super refreshing right now. Yeah, yeah. People talk shit about a light beer like a corse light or a bud light or a miller light, but what are you going to drink when you drink 16 beers? There is a specific day of the year? When you mow your the year when you to drink 16 beers? There is the thi. the te. There is, I feel like, thin. I feel the thin. I feel thin. I feel thin. Yeah, yeah, I can get behind that. Specific beer days. You're certain beer days. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:30 What about wild turkey days? I can't fluck with whiskey? I can't flak with whiskey. I drank way too much. to the he looks so shitty. He never looked okay, did he? This is a rough period of his, this is right before his, or like a couple years before his bike accident and stuff.
Starting point is 00:01:55 Tell me about Gary Buse. He's had substance abuse problems his whole life. Sure. He was in a vicious motorcycle accident without a helmet on in 1988. And that's why his face looked so odd because it had to be reconstructed. It doesn't look that odd, does it? Like his eye has changed. The positioning of his eyes changed some, and like his jaw kind of had to be rebuilt from what I can. You know, like he's just, he's had a rough time. I cannot understand why the buddy Holly story. No. Where he is Buddy Holly? Really?
Starting point is 00:02:26 Yeah, he nails it. He does a fucking great job. What year is that? Uh, they must have been in the 70s. Okay. Yeah, he's got a long and storied career such as this and ginger dead man. Yeah, yeah. That were the two points. He's. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. he. he. he. th. he. the. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. He. He. He. He. He. He. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He know if he was a child actor, but like really early on. Really? All right, well, sorry, Gary.
Starting point is 00:02:48 I'm taking a sip of this course light. Oh my gosh, I've been sipping it since we started. Did you feel weird buying it? Hell yeah, where'd you buy him from? Uh, giant eagle. Where else you're going to buy a course? This is the first time my life, just, just, just, just, just, just, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, th, thi, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, I th, I th, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. to thi. ta. tip, thi. thi. thi. I'm thiz lights? Oh no, I bought a six pack. Yeah, you did. Didn't I see judge you. Of course. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:09 Oh, it's good though. It's really hit in the spot. It's warm up here. Yeah, it's really nice and refreshing. And it's also just been sitting out of the table, sitting in a shopping bag for cold food with a bag of mixed vegetables. I didn't notice why you brought that up with us. Nice. A bag of mixed vegetables.
Starting point is 00:03:30 Fuck those carrots. Nobody likes those. So we're here doing another episode of World Ambulance. I'm Alan. I'm Katie. And we're going to be discussing Silver Bullet, hence all of the Bob Seeger in Course Light. Yeah, this is Stephen King novelette. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:49 What, I thought that was called a novella, but I guess it's not. I never heard the word novelette before. I feel like novelets like, novella sounds too weak. Let's call it a novelet. Apparently it's longer than a short story, but shorter than a novella. What? That really upset me. I feel like we're in a real brunch situation here. It's an omelette, which is with just like two and a half eggs and you're like, come on. What would eat an amela?
Starting point is 00:04:13 Oh yeah. Yeah, throw another egg in there. Yeah. Yeah. But like all the eggs is a frata. You know what I'm saying? So like a novel, forget it. I'm already kind of drunk. I've had three sips. How am I gonna drive home? So this was a listener suggestion. Thank you, Eric B. for a suggestion. Thank you, Eric, for the suggestion. Thank you, Eric. thinnea to this movie. Thank you, Eric, for the suggestion. Thank you, Eric. A thiiiiiii thii. thii. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. Thank tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha' tha' tha. thi. tha' th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. tha th. tha tha tha th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. tha. tha. to to to to to too. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. tha. tha. I didn't even know it existed. Yeah, I never heard of the novelette, I never heard of the movie, I never knew it existed. It's very exciting
Starting point is 00:04:48 then. Is it? Are you excited? Yeah, because it's a ridiculous movie? Okay, yeah. This the first Kang in a while too. We haven't we haven't dipped back into Stephen for a bit. Yeah, I don't remember even when the last one we did was. I know. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I. Yeah. I. Yeah. I. Yeah. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. the the the the the the the the the the last. Yeah. Yeah. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is.. Is........................................ the.... the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. we did was. I'm not so good with the memories. It's hard for me. But this was a, this was like a, especially after interview with the vampire, this was like a nice like, ah yeah, I can just reset my brain to super dumb horror movies. It was certainly a pallet cleanser. So this is a werewolf movie. Of many that we have done. And they're really ramping up recently, I I I I been hitting wherewolves so hard. The wherewolf in this is adorable. I find it cute and fun and not scary. No. So we're
Starting point is 00:05:37 following paraplegic Marty played by Corey Hame. We never find out why he's paraplegic. No but I like two aspects of that. Okay. That that is not We never find out why he's paraplegic. No, but I like two aspects of that. Okay. That that is not a plot point of why he's paraplegia. Like it wasn't like the werewolf made him bareplieger. Sure, okay. And it is not a hindrance to him doing anything. No it's not. But here's like, okay so on its face, this movie is about a werewolf terrorizing a very small town and th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, that that that that that that's, that that's, that that that that that that that that that that that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that, th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thr-a, thr-a, that, thr-a, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, thi,'m wrong. On its face, this movie is about a werewolf terrorizing a very small town and this boy's quest to, he's the only one who believes in it, he's the only one who's seen it in his quest to vanquish the werewolf. But there's also a subplot of his sister resenting him and not loving him and then the last line is about how now she could say she loves him in the fucking movie ends. And I was like, what?
Starting point is 00:06:27 I feel like that's some like real Stephen Kangness to put in there. Like, I need to get wholesome on you for a little bit. But why? I don't know. Just like, it almost feels like it harkets back to like Ray Bradbury or something where he's like, oh there's got to be like this weird, like this weird, like this weird, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, oh, there's got to be like this weird morality thing going on like love and family God. Morales like love and family.
Starting point is 00:06:48 Is this a Delorrentice movie? It is. Yeah, apparently a real dick about it. Really? Tell me more. So they didn't want the werewolf to really be on screen. For good reason. And Dela Lorenz is like, they's to thian, and thian, thian, thian, thian, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, is th, is, is like, is like, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is also, is a, tho, tho, th. th, is a, is also, is a, is a, is a, is a, is a, is a th, is a, is a, is a th, is a th, is a th, is a th, is a th, is a th, is a th. thi, is a thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thoo. thooo. thoo. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi, is also, is also, is also, is also, is like, nope, it's gonna be on screen. And they're like, can you not do that? And he's like, yeah, I can do that. And it's gonna be on screen and I'll take my fucking money away.
Starting point is 00:07:08 Yeah. Apparently like Stephen King and the director were both like, come on, buddy. And he's like, my money. Wow. And then he's like, have you met my granddaughter. Is that the cooking show? Yeah, she says the biggest head and biggest mouth and they're beautiful but just so big. Like a caricature? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:31 Yeah. She's the muttooled. He has no need to even be in this movie except a wave from the driver's. So we meet Corey Hames or Marty's mom and dad. Dad is a fucking cardboard cut out of a human being. He has no need to even be in this movie except a wave from the driver's seat. She's just waving. And occasionally tell the mom that she's getting too feisty. Or tell the daughter to listen to the mother, which like, come on.
Starting point is 00:07:56 It's never going to work. Dad's just here to enforce the patriarchy. Yeah. And this town, yeah, like you said, it's being blighted by werewolf attacks. The narrator, who is a law and order regular, by the way. Yeah. I like to always point out when we get a good law and order actor on here. Oh, we shouldn't point out. This is our third narrator movie in a row. Fah. The dentist interview with the vampire. And...
Starting point is 00:08:23 I like so that's going to sound like it was edited in. interview with the vampire. And silver bullet. Yeah, let's just keep it going. Let's do nothing but narrator movies from here on out. There's got to be a hard movie called the narrator. I bet it's so bad. Anyway, I always like to point out when it's in the law and order actor, it is a law and order actor. Okay, okay. Tova Feldschuff is her name. She often plays a sassy defense attorney.
Starting point is 00:08:47 Bum, bump, bum, bum. I want to get that clarinet in there? Bada, da, da, da, da, da, da. Okay. The narrator is older Jane. So you know Jane lives. And she says that in this town where they live, people care about each other as much as they care about themselves. Madam, that has never happened in the history of time on this planet. That is not a real thing and it's offensive to me that Stephen King thinks I'm gonna believe that. Do you know what I mean? I do, I wrote this is some mega bullshit. It is. It is. It is. This movie reminded me has Terry O'Quinn in it. And this reminds me of. It reminded me that I really want to do the movie, The Stepfather at some point. Okay.
Starting point is 00:09:29 I've never seen it. It always looks really creepy. He's like a stepfather that goes from family to family murdering them. Love it. Terry O'Quinn is the sheriff in town. Okay. People like that? Castle Rock. No, should I? I've been three episodes in and don't know if I can tell you to do it or not.
Starting point is 00:09:50 Okay. Let me know in like a week or so. All right. So this movie starts off with a guy drinking and driving around on the most adorable little train car. I am sure that is Lou Brown. But he's not a it's there's no I couldn't find a credit for it It doesn't matter it really doesn't matter James Gammon who cares it's dead We see the guy in the tiny adorable train car and he's Doing rind gold beer I love that ad for rind gold beer too, but all I do wish that it was course late
Starting point is 00:10:15 singing the ride gold beer song because he wants to get drunk so bad he's definitely he's already drunk he's oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's heed he's the he's the heed he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's the the the the t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t trying he's trying t trying t trying trying trying t the he gets his fucking head knocked off by the werewolf. Yeah and they're like oh he got run over by the train but why is his head not mashed? Did the wherewolf position his body so it looked like he got run over the train? It seems like it that werewolf has a lot of I don't know what he's doing. I loved you're like I would say something funny but I don't understand this where wolf at all. I don't. I don't. This is another movie where the it's not following the rules. No, there are no rules just right. It's the Outback Steakhouse movies. What? What? What? Outback Steak the house? There are definitely El Fax Steakhouse. You can go in there's stark raving naked and you're
Starting point is 00:11:07 definitely things you can't do it in the Alfaq Steakhouse. You can throw your peanut shells on the ground. Oh, is that real? Is that real? No. That was the ground round restaurant in Delaware. There's a great. Like throwing your peonchills on the ground is rude. People always do it at baseball games. I get that that's what you're supposed to do, but it pisses me off. Because someone has to clean that up. You know what I mean? It's not like a bird just come, forget it. I miss the just throwing chicken bones on the ground that happened all the time. Like I'm done even to even the the the the thoom I'm done with this shrimp cocktail that I was eating on the train. I'm just going
Starting point is 00:11:45 to leave that in the scene. Can we talk about this actually because lately I've been seeing a lot of those plastic tooth flossers with the little floss? Who is first of all, why are you fucking floosting your teeth on the street? And I wonder if it's just one person who's going to all the same places I am, or is it me? I have a theory. Tell me. You see them everywhere? Yeah. Why?
Starting point is 00:12:10 How often do you see toothpicks in stores anymore? I guess not often. Not a tonne. But you see those dental floss things you would just walk around chewing on. At the counter of the diner picking a dental floss stick out. It just looks like you're like playing the tiniest jaw harp. This never happened when you walk around chewing on one? I've never seen anyone actually using them. I just don't understand where they're coming from.
Starting point is 00:12:34 It's infuriating. Do you think it's like this torn bee tile or whatever them on the ground. It's making me literally crazy. The last couple weeks I've been getting really fucking mad about it. We talk about how it seems like wheelchairs don't fold up in the 70s because they have a trailer on the station wagon but then they go around to the side of the house and pull up the one one that is folded up and just folded up. I just put in the back of your fucking station wagon. Listen, when you've got Uncle Red making you wheelchairs with lawnmower engines on them. That fucking last wheelchairs going like 60 miles an hour. And he's not like maybe you should wear a helmet.
Starting point is 00:13:13 So listen, Katie, you're a little younger than I am. That's a bad look for him later. It doesn't matter. You're a little younger than I am. Back in 1984, kids would often ride in the back of pickup up trucks. Yes, I do know that. Seatbelts, what's this now? Yeah. We were not a safety conscious people at this point in time. Just, yeah. Fuck you, Ralph Nader. You're not telling us what's to do in 1984? Whoa. What's Ralph Nader got to do with this? Unsafe. Yeah, the same. W. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that. th. th. th. th. Seat, th. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Sea. Seat. Seat. Seat. Seat, th. Seat, th. Seat, th. Seat, th. Seat, th. Seat, th. We th. We're th. We're th. Seat, th. Seatt. Seatt. Seat, th. Seat, belt laws mandatory. Really? Yeah. Thanks Ralph Nathan. Yeah. Oh yeah for sure. For sure. But in 1984, it was like, do you know anyone who doesn't wear their seatbelt? No. I do. And I think it's stupid. That's all I want to say. If you're my friend and you're out there and you aren't wearing your seatbelt you know what you'retalking about you. Yeah, we care about you. Do it for your parents. Don't think for me.
Starting point is 00:14:05 How do you feel about calling somebody? A booger. I love that. Yeah, it's pretty good. It's said with such venom too. You, bugger. I like that a lot. Marty taunts his sister with Biff or Buddy or Thomas or whatever. I was in the bees. You were close. Until I threw Thomas in there. You were thinking of Tom Brady, New England Patriots quarterback.
Starting point is 00:14:27 That's not the guy that kneels. Oh, that was Tim Tibo. Oh, that was Tim Tiboe. Are you just thinking of Colin Capernick and the national anthem? That's the kneeling. The other kneeling is the bra. ball player right now. It's so dumb, yeah. Hi, I'm a shitty Bo Jackson. I love Bo. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:47 Bonus, this, but it seems like a good guy, too. I don't know anything about him. I think he's a good guy. And if I don't, don't tell me. Don't you know. Don't ruin Bo. So Marty, who knows? Uh, sister with a snake? Jane? Jane? Jane falls in the mud. How did she not see that kid in the tree? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:15:07 Okay. She was so focused on getting your brother who's always off doing something, being a little brother. She is really put upon to be his caregiver, which is unfair. Yeah. But then Marty makes up to her and it's really sweet. the kids are like money to to to to to to to to the money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money money moneyose and that's really cute. I can get legs for a dollar forty nine down at the pharmacy. God fucking legs, remember that shit? In the eggs, yeah. Yeah, definitely owned legs.
Starting point is 00:15:28 I mean, basically nothing really happens for a while, right? A drunk uncle Red shows up and there's a real uncomfortable interaction between him and mom. Right. He, that's Gary Busey. He is probably drunk during the filming, I thi thi thi thi thi thi thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, to to to to to to to to to to thi, thi, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi's thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii's thi, thi, I would say. Yeah. His affects are very strange. Apparently most of his dialogue is ad-lived, and I have a feeling that it's like, yeah, I didn't want to learn that. No, yeah. I'm sure that no one wrote, Jesus jumped up Palomino twice, you know what I mean? He felt like he really connected with Uncle Red. that's the sacts thiiolk, he's connected, he's, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, thi, too, too, tooo, toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, is a. I mean in all the scenes where he's talking to them about like the kids are trying to
Starting point is 00:16:07 convince him that the werewolf is real and it's a real threat and it's also it's the Reverend spoilers for this movie. He his disbelief is unbelievable. He's just like, God, you're telling me? I don't know why I'm doing that voice. I like it though. I would like you to try to do a Gary Busey impression. I feel like he's on. Give me a line. Jesus jumped up palomino. No, that's my petino. There's a lot of teeth involved in Gary Buse.
Starting point is 00:16:36 I don't have that many teeth. He's drunk around Marty and mom's not into it. He's telling weird jokes about donkey men. I liked that joke. He always calls me that. Yeah. I did. I liked it. It was good. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:16:54 You follow Stephen King on Twitter? Yes. He writes a lot of jokes on there. He's also real mad at your president. Yeah, that's fine. I'll take that. How did you... So there's a werewolf that's killing people and it's basically the morality were wolf, which I loved. He was mad. Yeah, right, I guess it makes sense. I kind of didn't. Why? Okay. I guess drunk at work is a reason to kill somebody. I mean, if you're getting your job done,
Starting point is 00:17:23 who cares? Here's my problem. So he takes out a woman who's pregnant with a guy, I guess he's married or just doesn't want anything to do with her now that she's pregnant. Was that woman supposed to be a teenager living with her mother? Something like that, or like, she was like, I understand that as a Catholic, like, I'm gonna go to hell, but I'm gonna go to hell and fuck you. She says that pretty much. Yeah. To no one.
Starting point is 00:17:53 To the room. And then the werewolf climbs the lattice. And then the werewolf climbs the lattice. If you think that's a joke, it is not the were vicious. It's thiwee. It's thiwee. It's a vicious. It's a vicious. It's a vicious. It's a vicious. thiweecious. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. to to to to thi. thi. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the the the the the thi. the thi. the thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. to thi. to thi. to thi. If you think that's a joke, it is not. The werewolf climbs the lattice. Oh man. It's a vicious though. It's a vicious killing. It is. And the shot of like the post-killing when mom comes into the room and finds her amazing. Yeah, it is really good. It's very bloody. Then there's Tammy, who's Marty's friend. Who's the only person in this movie who is Southern? She has an accent. Her dad sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds sounds like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like has an accent. Her dad sounds just like Eric Cartman from South Park. I feel like Stephen King loves drunk dads of preteen girls and I really don't like that for him. I think that's a little skis. It's a go-to move for him. Yeah. It's just, it's a low-hanging fruit.
Starting point is 00:18:42 Yeah. Did he feel about Uncle Red only drinking straight out of the bottle of wild turkey? There are glasses in the house, right? I mean, if no one's going to share it with him, it's his to drink from. I mean, I'm just drinking straight out of this can because you're not going to share it with me. It's true. I mean, I feel that, I feel, I feel, I feel, I feel,. How did you feel about Tammy's dad having so many clay pots? What is he grown? Why does he have a greenhouse full of like house plants? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:19:10 I'm hoping he's grown weed. What was Tammy's dad's job? Is that a job? Is he's growing hostas? Like he was growing like houseplants? Go down a home depot and buy some monsters? I understand that. I just don't think that's what's Tammy's dad's job. I would assume he was silly weed. Did you like Corey Hame pushing off of everything with his legs?
Starting point is 00:19:34 Shit. And when he was sitting in the tree and just wiggling his legs back and forth? Yeah, no, Corey, keep them still. I like that he can't use his legs except when he can use his legs. I want to go back to dad watching wrestling real quick because some of the stuff that he yelled was amazing. Oh yes. Yelling, bust his chops at the TV was hilarious. He's very drunk to be fair. He's a drunk dad. And then someone does, I think maybe a pile driver to somebody and he goes, oh that hurts my parts. Yeah, I liked that. Which I have the note that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. th. th. th. that. that. that. that. that. that that that th. the th. th. th. the the the stuff. the stuff. the stuff. the stuff. the stuff. the stuff. the stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. the the. the the the the the the th. the the the the the the stuff. the stuff liked that. Which I have the note, this is just a townful of alcohol. Yeah, it really is. Everybody like every dude in this movie goes to the bar and gets drunk. There and it's like where you go to look for them. That's where they are. They just are in there. The dad getting killed
Starting point is 00:20:17 though, that impalement made me like gasp out loud. Oh, the were wolf comes up from below. The the the w from from the w below the w below the w below the w from the w. the w. Oh, the w. Oh, the w. Oh, the w. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, like, like, like, th. Oh, like, that that that that that that that that that that that that that, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. below in the two-tiered greenhouse that dad has. Yeah, I mean like, suspend one's disbelief, one momento. But I have the note, that's another cool death. It was another cool death. Because he like rips dad down on a board sticking up and just like goes right into his bread basket. It looks really real. It did not look fake. Oh, they killed that man for this movie. I mean, he had it coming. He was a drunk dad of a preteen girl. You didn't see the disclaimer at the end of the movie that said some drunk dads were hurting and they can get this movie. The thing is that drunk dads don't have like an ASPCA to look after them.
Starting point is 00:20:54 Where's drunk dead, Peter? Also, how did Corey Hayne get into that tree? How do you get up there? He's got wicked good upper body strength. I mean, it was really far up there. He couldn't have even reached that branch. Oh man. And there's this whole B story of Terrio Quinn, the sheriff looking for the killer. Right, it's like very like, that, don't worry about that. And he's so sad though. And it seems th th and it seems th and it seems th seems like thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi, and it's thi, and it's thi, and it's thi, and it's thi, and it's thi, thi, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, tho, tho, tho, th. th. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to be to be to be to be to be th. th. th. th. th. that, that, that, thi, to be too, too, too, too, too. too. too. tha. thau. thau. thau. toooo. too. too. too. to to to to to. to. And it seems like he's going to get fired. They don't like him. Yeah. Sheriff is an elected position. I um, I don't like to talk about the way people look. I do. Brady's debt. So Brady gets killed because they're flying a kite and that's why he was up in the tree.
Starting point is 00:21:38 Oh, maybe Brady lifted him. Marty was up. No, he lifted the body. You literally see him like pull himself up, but it's like 12 feet in the air. OK, great. So Brady and Marty were flying kites. Marty was like, I'm going to go home with my sister. She's here now. And Brady is like, well, I'm going to keep rocking this kite.
Starting point is 00:21:56 It's fucking kites. sleeping baby, you don't take a kite out of the air. Those are the rules. I just realized something. Tell me. He's flying a smiley-face kite. OK. When we next see that kite, Terrio Quinn is carrying it and it's covered in blood from the werewolf attack as Brady is dead. In the howling, there is a smiley face that gets blood on itling. Things that make you go a better werewolf movie. So back to Brady's dead. He looks like a straight-up
Starting point is 00:22:35 robot. He is, if you had to sculpt a man, but like a middle-aged balding man. Yeah. It's... That has dead eyes. His eyes are dead. He's dead inside. His son has been killed. Yeah, that's true. You can't act that. That man is real dead.
Starting point is 00:22:52 That mean it's for real dead, yeah. He's probably a drunk dad that they had them. No one's helping the drunk dads. As soon as this, Brady had it coming and I don't know why. Did he? Because he was a tick. Was he a dick? Yeah, he's like knocked down twice. Oh, that's right. Also, on the note of drunk people, the guy in the bar is, there's like a particular guy who's riling up all of the other citizens about the sheriff and the bad job he's doing. And the deputy keeps springing to the sheriff's defense. But like that deputy is spending a lot of time in that bar. He's always in that bar. Two things I love about the deputy? Yeah. Chubby. They take a lot of shots. They take a chubby. They take. They they they they they they they they they they their their they their their. They take their. They take their. They take their. They take their. They take their. They take their. They take their. They take. They take. They take a their. They take. They their. They take their. They take. They take a their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their. They take. They take. They take. They take. They take. They take. They take. They take. They take. They their. They their. They their their their their their their tap. tap. tap. tap. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape. tape. their their their tape. their, he like looks hurt for a moment and then throws fists.
Starting point is 00:23:45 Which, like, don't, you can't punch a deputy. No. No. No. No. No. Always wears a clip on tie. How can you tell?
Starting point is 00:23:54 Because he's just unclipped and hanging off. That's class. Oh man, all of my ties when I was when whenthey'll just hang themselves. So stupid, kids are so dumb. How do you feel about the pastor's dream where everybody turns into werewolves? I don't remember it. Oh really? Tell me again. There's a really, like great scene
Starting point is 00:24:14 where he's like giving the eulogy at Brady's thing. Yes, yes, yes. I like that a lot. And Brady's dad, and Brady's th is, and Brady's th and Brady's th and Brady's th and Brady's, yeah. And then he starts wolfing out and then everybody starts wolf and starts wolf wolfing out. I like that a lot because it also is a red herring. It throws you off of him. But it's the one time in the movie that there's a cool where wolf transformation. You didn't think it was cool when he turns back to. It was like where, it wasn't. I liked the chest hair going back in. I didn't like that at all. I felt very tickly. I didn't like that at all.
Starting point is 00:24:46 Because I was like, where did it go? Where did it go? Yeah, right? Just piling up under your skin. But above your lungs and above your ribs, it's disgusting. Also, I kept looking at him, the reverend. Yeah, I was like, I think he's kind of hot and then I was like no, he's not and then I was like maybe he is. He's like a he's like a busted Silly and Comerphy. Oh, he's all cheekbones. He's all cheekbones. Yeah, and he's like? I think he's hot, but he's not and so cheekbones. He's always a bad guy.
Starting point is 00:25:19 Are you're a twin peak person? Oh, he's big Ed, big ed. Yeah, and he's like like my love for him as big ed Always get to my way of hating him as the bad guy. Yeah, that's fair He's also really he's a good guy in Dune as well. I'm not gonna see that no idea. I can't think of a movie that would make you angrier than watching Dune and I actually kind of want to want to make. I I I I I I to watch you to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to they. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I the the the the to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the to try. I try. I try. I try. I try. I try. I try. I try. I try. I th. I try. I to to to to to to to to to make you watch it. I mean, how long is it, like four hours, right? It's really long. Yeah, of course it is. We get suggestions for people that are like, hey, you guys should watch this. I want to hear how mad Katie would be about it. Why do you want me to be mad?
Starting point is 00:25:53 I'm a person. I'm not just your puppet. Because you're really funny. That's true. So what do you suggest we watch the slender man movie that's in theaters right now? I saw a trailer for that and I was like, I bet this is bad and it was like, it's a Pg 13? I was like, oh I bet it's real bad. I would probably see that actually. Is it about the murders? Is it about their kids murdering? Is it just about Thunder Band? But I mean, no, but you know how those girls murdered their fervor? They tried to murder who the girl survived. Yeah, I watched that documentary about them.
Starting point is 00:26:26 That was good, yeah? Yeah, it was, I mean, just sad. It's just, yeah. Kids with mental illness is a bummer. So that's not what the movie's about that. No, it's about don't have any. I've got a horror for hundreds of years. I don't need to get into creepy pasta.
Starting point is 00:26:52 Some guy writing on Reddit. People love it though. No, that's fair. That's for them. It's not for me. That's okay. I watch baseball. You is. I feel like I recognized him from something too, but didn't bother to look it up. He's more well known as a playwright, evidently.
Starting point is 00:27:12 That is not what I would know him. You're in the big, you're big in the play community. Me and Eugene O'Neil are best friends. So I think he's dead. After Brady dies, the vigilantes in the town, basically the guy with the Lemme mustache wins out and everyone's gonna go kill everybody. I liked him a lot, and I like that scene of them all storming out of the bar.
Starting point is 00:27:36 Because they're like, well, we won't go, we'll calm down. And then the kid's dad comes in, and he's like, he was like, they. is that he says. That's great, because when he comes in, it seems like he's telling everyone to calm down. And then by the enemy, he's like, go murder people, go, go, bloodlust. And they'll push over the reverend on the way out. Did that scene remind you of the scene where everyone's going, Yeah, it's like a crew of people who are just totally ill-equipped to do what they're doing, which I like a lot. I love when the one guy, they're like out walking in the woods and they're hearing like things cracking and creaking in the woods.
Starting point is 00:28:11 And then they goes, oh, I don't know about this. And the woman turns around, it goes, fudge later, but there's no lemonade. I feel like Amy Schumer fucking stole that line. She saw this moving, she was like, I have a funny joke. I don't really like Amy Schumer, so let's not get into it. She's a hack. That's all. I don't really like Amy Schumer. Let's not get into it. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:28:47 Was that in that scene where they're all, the towns people are all out looking for the vampire? Was the trap snapping back on the guy's ankle the second time supposed to be comedic? Yes. It was not comedic to me. I think it's supposed to be at all. So the mayor, who's a real, the the dy, and the guy with the wide long-faced guy who's there hanging out together, the mayor steps in a bear trap and the long-face guy's like, oh, let me just open this up.
Starting point is 00:29:13 I mean, it's scary. It's like, you think about what that would feel like, and it's very uncomfortable. I think that Tom and Jerry cartoons desensitized me to to to to to to to to to to to to the to the to to the to the the to the the the the the th. the th. th. the th. the th. th. th. tape, tape, tape, th. the the the, the, the, the, th. the mayor, the mayor, the mayor, the mayor, the mayor the mayor the mayor the mayor the mayor the mayor the mayor the mayor the mayor the mayor the mayor the mayor the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. tap, tap, tape, tape, tape, tape, tape, tape, tape, tape, tape, tape, trape, tra-s. tra-s. tra-s, trape, trap, trap, trap, tape, tape me to bear traps. I think you might think otherwise if you stepped on a bear traps. For sure. For sure, I probably also have someone dropped an envelope on my hand I feel different. Alan. But, rest in peace. Oh, rest and peace.
Starting point is 00:29:37 Anful night heart. Yeah, thin. No one in the heart foundation is alive anymore except Brett. Yeah, Brett's the only thee. the. the. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thia' thi thi thi. thia' thia' thiou thi thi. I might thi. I might thi. I thi. You might thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. ed soul. Man, no one in the heart foundation is alive anymore except Brett. Yeah, Brett's the only one, right? God, he's like hanging on, I think, barely. Yeah, some strokes and shit. Oh man. Yeah, it's not great.
Starting point is 00:29:51 No. Yeah, so the mayor steps in the bear trap. So yeah, so the mayor steps in the trap and then, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the bear trap. That's funny. It seemed like it was supposed to be funny. I did not think it was funny. I just wanted to cry. Yeah. So they're getting attacked in the fog by the werewolf. I liked the scene a lot. I thought this was really good. Did you like it when the one guy falls down and then pops back up and half his faces? I loved it. I adored it. I loved it. I am the to like kills the black guy, kills the squirrely guy, and it's just like going on a rampage. Yeah, but why? Why is he doing that?
Starting point is 00:30:29 I don't know. See, we've lost the morality tale aspect of this. Is it a full moon? Not quite. That's a really interesting thing. So the premise that's revealed, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the th. thi. thi, thi. the the the the the the the the the th. the, the, th. thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th th th th th th th th th th th th th tooo the toe the the the the the the th the the th th th th the thi. thi. th this movie is that the werewolf can wherewolf at any time during the lunar cycle. But at the full moon, he is most wolf and least mad. It's like how I can be a total bitch any time of the month. But at my time of the month, I'm the bitchiest.
Starting point is 00:30:56 You know what I mean? It's real stupid. Yes, my moon time. Do you know what I mean? It's thi I thi I thi I thi I thi th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thi thi thi th thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi that's thi is thi thi that's that's that's real that's that's that's that's thu- thu- thu- thi is thi is he is he is he is he is he is he is he is he is he is he is he is he is he is he is he is he is he is he is he is th he is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thu thu thu thu thu thuuuuuu-a thu-a thu-a thu-a thu-a thu-a thuuuuuuuuuuu real fucking stupid. Yeah. I mean, I feel like this is one of the Stephen King's stories that's definitely written by a 12 year old. Like, do you think Stephen King has just a bunch of children in his home writing these stories? Like, what is this factory where he's pumping out all this nonsense? Should there be a drunk dad? Yes. Billy, God damn it? the other works? Oh man, no circus peanuts for you for dinner. I assume he's feeding them circus peanuts for dinner. I would assume, yeah. That's why they're so mopped up. I mean, fair assumption.
Starting point is 00:31:36 So Uncle Red is quite the mechanic and... This is the only thing he's good at marriage, he's on his third divorce. Which is mom's mad at him about yeah just like a little compassion lady yeah I mean it's probably to be fair it's probably his fault oh for sure yeah imagine marrying that man though like being like yeah yeah spend the rest of my life with this this life this life this life that wild turkey bottle you're just nursing all long please put it is on his night stand open That wild turkey bottle you're just nursing all night long.
Starting point is 00:32:05 Please put it, it's on his nightstand, open. And he gets a lady later out of the movie, there's a lady with him. Yeah, at first I thought it was man. I thought it was his sister and I was like, what the fuck is happening in this movie? And then it wasn't. Uncle Red gives him already this motorcycle wheelchair, which is the most fucking ridiculous thing I've ever seen. I mean, it is fast. It's motorcycle fast.
Starting point is 00:32:29 Yeah. It's not street legal. There's no way you wouldn't get pulled over. Luckily the cops are also busy being drunk in the bar. The two cops. Yeah, there are two cops. Like so many of these movies, there's a sheriff and a deputy deputy the deputy the sheriff, the sheriff, the sheriff, the the the the the the thapapapap. the sheriff, the sheriff, the sheriff, there's a sheriff and a deputy. He also, factory, comma, alien. Oh God man, Stevie. Or Stephen, Stephen, calling by his right name.
Starting point is 00:32:54 God, Atlantis, what are you doing right now? Jamming. So, um, and Uncle Red's like, I gotta go, here's a bag of fireworks since you couldn't go see the fireworks because werewolves or something. And it seems like a really bad idea to give a kid in a wheelchair fireworks. Because if they go off, how is he going to get away? A kid in a motorcycle fireworks. I mean, that's fair to.
Starting point is 00:33:19 I don't think Uncle Red actually likes Marty and he's trying to kill him. He's trying to get Marty killed. I thought Uncle Red was a werewolf for most of this movie. I really did, because he's just so stupid. A real red herring. Yeah. I don't know if they intended me to think that or if I just decided. It would have been a good twist. Yeah, wouldn't it? So Marty Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty, yeah. So Marty goes off a shooting fireworks by himself in the middle of the night.
Starting point is 00:33:45 On a bridge and he does not get very far from the, I thought you had to get away from a firework when you let it. He just like pushes back a little bit. As long as you're giggling while it's going off, everything's fine. That's a good, that fart fell off into the bottle. What happens then?
Starting point is 00:34:06 It just explodes the bottle. Luckily we were all like, huh? And it was just action movie dives to get away from the glass. Fireworks are such a bad idea. They're so scary. Like as an adult, they're terrifying. Can you drop in like kids music right here? Yeah. Because because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, they. they, they. they, they, to to they, they, they, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, to. Oh, to. Oh, to. Oh, to. Oh, to. Oh, to. Oh, to. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh PSA. Okay. Leave it to the pros. You know what I mean? It's not for you. Also can I do another PSA? Please. Kids. After the
Starting point is 00:34:35 fourth of July, stop setting off your fucking fireworks. Kids. It's July 15th. No one loves America that much. Let it go. Oh man. And now that fireworks are legal in Pennsylvania. When did that happen? A couple years ago. I didn't vote on that. People now have like end of baseball game grade fireworks. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:58 And so one night it was like one a. And I just kept hearing, thum. And I was like, those are mortars. They're shooting the fucking.. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. the the the the the the the fireworks, thump. Duh. I was like, those are mortars. They're shooting fucking mortars. Right. It's like Pennsylvania decided we had too many fingers. You know what I mean? Let's go lawless.
Starting point is 00:35:15 All right, whatever. I guess it's a Darwinist sort of thing. They was just like, well, we could sell beer on Sundays. But only from certain times, and only in certain places. So on the bridge, Marty's shooting off fireworks, he's got the rocket, which is the big ender. And as he's getting ready to shoot the rocket off, the werewolf comes running up on him. Why? What did Marty do? This is not a morality tale anymore. He's just a little boy. He's a little paraplegic boy. What the fuck? So he shoots the werewolf perfectly in the left eye.
Starting point is 00:35:53 Perfectly. Perfectly. Which he does in the right eye, later on in the movie, this kid should be a fucking marksman. He's good. So the next day, Marty convinces Jane that the shit's going down and he shot a werewolf in the fucking eye. She believes it pretty quickly. Yeah, surprisingly quickly.
Starting point is 00:36:11 Which I appreciated. Yeah, I'm glad they didn't spend a lot of time convincing Jane. A montage scene of Jane being convinced. Punching meat. Because it's a montage. It's trying on clothes and fun and meat. So she goes around town collecting cans for UNICEF or something. Yeah. And search a lot of cans and a lot of bottles.
Starting point is 00:36:35 And searching. They have a shed full of them so I don't know that they needed them. Oh, because back of the day we used to collect him and get the deposit for him. What state? Delaware? Yeah. I don't do that here. Oh, no. We just throw our bottles in the river, where they belong. It's great like all these eyeball reveals of all these old people that she's like staring at them and then they'll turn face the camera. I like to the guy in the bar shop where she pulls the towel of tow off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off the the the the the the the the the the the least eight men who just turned to the camera and have two eyes.
Starting point is 00:37:07 And you're like, all right, I get it, Stephen Kang. She goes to drop off the cans and the reverend is like, hey, just put those in there. Eyeball reveal he doesn't have one of them. Yeah, he's got a patch. It's the reverend. It's the reverend. Everybody. Which happens not? the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. the th. the the th. th. the th. the the the the the the the reverend. the reverend. the reverend. the reverend. the reverend. the reverend. the reverend. the reverend. the reverend. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. the. I. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. the. the. the. the. the. the the. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the reverend. It's the reverend. Everybody. Which happens not that close to the end of the movie. No, it's a while. It's a while. It's a while because now we got to fuck with him. We got to send him, we got a cyber bully him, but with paper. By sending him to know this is, why don't you kill yourself? In ransom note font. Why don't you kill yourself? I love that Corey Hayne puts the note together and Jane mails it. Yeah, right. And then does it two more times. While Jane is dropping off the cans, she finds the peacemaker, which is the baseball bat that the old man from the bar had.
Starting point is 00:37:55 Right. I like that. And that the wolf beat him to death with. Brutally. This wolf is very into tools. Yeah, the wolf, he kills a lot of people. He like, why do were wolves kill? Because they're just wild animals. There's wild and help. And sometimes he isn't, and sometimes he is. And sometimes he has opposable thumbs, and sometimes he has claws. Sometimes he definitely has a pan.
Starting point is 00:38:23 Like when he's climbing the trellis. Key, as it gets closer to the moon, he becomes more rules than- Right, right, right, I'm sorry. I'm the one who's stupid. So the Reverend figures out that Marty's the one who sent him the dumb-note, because why wouldn't he saw Marty shoot him in the eye? That's he he the the the into a covered bridge, hits him with his car. Marty is constantly running out of fuel too, which is a thing that keeps happening.
Starting point is 00:38:50 He does not, he's not good at fuel management. Despite having a gauge, a very large gauge. I love all the made-up names in this movie, that like the Milt Sturmfuller. Who is that? Just one of the people in town. Okay. And when Marty is stuck on the covered bridge that's condemned and falling down he sees Mr. Zinnaman. Yeah Mr. Zinam. Why not Zimmerman? Zimerman? I would think if I didn't
Starting point is 00:39:18 have subtitles right now I would think that he was yelling for Mr. Cinnamon. Oh that's cute. Mr. Cinnamon! Who saves him? Who does save him because the priest? that that that that that that that that that that that that's th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th is thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi th is thi thi thi thi that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's th is th th th th th th th th th th the the the the the the the thi thi the thi thi thi thi thi thi the thi the the thi the the the thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi th from Mr. Cinnamon. Oh, that's cute. Mr. Cinnamon, Mr. Cinnamon. Who saves him? Who does save him because the priest just takes off? How did Mr. Cinnamon not take the priest's car? I don't know. That bridge is difficult. I guess he's a reverend, not a priest. I don't know the difference between those people.
Starting point is 00:39:40 Um, it's priest, Catholic and reverie and rever and rever and so. Okay. Then you kill some more people. I mean, whatever. Uncle Red, they give Uncle Red. They finally convince Uncle Red that his ship's going down. Yeah, they're like chasing him, but he's chasing them, right? Yeah. Uncle Red is in, but he's also not in, but then he's in. And he just keeps saying, Jesus jumped up Palomino. Jesus jumped up Palamino. That was a lot better than mine. Jesus
Starting point is 00:40:05 jumped up Palomino! No that's Harry Carrey. That was my Ficino. Hey, that was your Harry Carrey. I don't have a Harry Carrey. So they give him some necklaces, some silver necklaces of the kid's own. Yeah. And he gets a bullet made by a guy who's like, oh, you're getting a silver bullet made? Wink, did he do? I'm about a were were wail. Like, you don't have to say that. I'm watching the movie. Oh, good luck with your were a wail,
Starting point is 00:40:34 wha? What? killed so like maybe ton a down you smelter. I wouldn't know that guy's backstory because he's just like an occultist that happens to run a metallurgy. Did they make it up or did they say that he like the narrator says that he's like as the best smelter in the world? He's smelted the best this time. He must have dealt it. He smelted. Yes he did. I know he did. I they call he said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He said. He smelled. He said he smelled. He said he sm. He said he smelt he's smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelt. He smelt. He smelt. He smelt. He sm. He sm. He sm. He sm. He sm. He smelt. He sm. He smelt. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted. He smelted it. Yes, he did. I know he did. I know he did. I think home an old world craftsman. Maybe that's a true thing. It seems like a master. Smelter. So it's Halloween night. Mom and dad win a trip. Or sorry, Uncle Red wins a trip and gives it to mom and dad. And then they're like, did you really win a trip and he's like, nah. So like how th th th th th th th th th th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. I to. to. to. to. the the the. the. I the. I the. the. the. th. did you really went a trip? And he's like, nah. So like, how did that work? Did he buy them? Yeah, he bought him a little getaway. How does Red have the money for this?
Starting point is 00:41:28 I was wondering about Red's expendable income. Especially because Red's probably paying alimony. So the kids and Red are waiting up for the vampire. Nope. Yeah, and they're asleep until like 3 a.m. And the TV goes off. Remember when TVs go? I mean, that's what just what happens. Remember when TVs used to go off? I do.
Starting point is 00:41:50 Yeah. Yeah. That was great. Well, now they're just on 24 hours a day. So the werewolf, the waltz. to be full wolf. It cuts the power, which I'm the. the. the. the. th. the. th. th. th. thi. th. the. th. th. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. the. the. thi. the. the. the. thi. thi. that's. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. I. I. I. I. t. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I is. I. I. t. t. I. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t......................................................... still very much a man. But although Red says the next full moon takes place on Halloween, so he has to be full Wolf. And yet, and yet, he cuts the power. So what we've learned is that wolves know to cut your power. That's
Starting point is 00:42:14 important. Wolves are smart. They might be pack animals, but they one of them can get the job done. Anyway, the job I mean cutting your power. Gary Busey does all his own stunts when he's being thrown around by the werewolf. He gets thrown into a number of objects. Also he falls asleep with a little cigarette and his hands like a real asshole. Real Uncle Red. Apparently that one point you can see him actually bleeding. He's like has a piece of wood stuck in his arms. So Busey does all his own stunts.
Starting point is 00:42:44 And then then then then then then then then then the the the the the the the gun theusey does all his own stunts. And then drops the gun, bullet falls down a, a heating great. A heating vent. But not too far. Don't worry, not too far. There's also like a marble and an M&M down there or something. I guess this is where you're where you keep your shit. Oh, when I was a little kid I can't think I can't think I can't th. What do you mean everything? Why? God, kids are monsters.
Starting point is 00:43:05 Yeah, we're awful. There's true. You're 44 years old. Nope, no, still a child. They get the gun back, put the bullet back in the gun. Because at one point, red just takes the bullet out of the gun. Just to prove a point that the wherewolf isn't coming. I don't think that's a really really really really really really. And our marksman pops another bullet right into the end.
Starting point is 00:43:26 Knows how to load a pistol, puts it in the correct chamber, and fires. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Kids good. Shots it right in the other eye. And then it like takes five minutes turning back into the hairless reverend. And then the best joke of the movie. Tell me. The three of them read Jane and Marty are sitting against the wall. And Jane turns and Marning goes, are you okay? And he says, I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:43:52 I don't think I can walk. It's not great. I fucking laughed when it happened. I did too. And then she's like, but I love you. And that's it. Yeah, now I can, that's the movie. Now I can say that I love one. The greatest love of, oh, Katie. Alan.
Starting point is 00:44:13 Let's go to the, raidings phase, werewolf style. All right. You want to go first? I mean, this movie's goddamn nonsense. This movie takes the werewolf trope, all of the werewolf troops, and it's like, but what if maybe, eh? But that's a very Stephen King thing to do. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:34 I think I'm being tainted by interview with a vampire, which was like trying to be important, whereas this movie's not trying to be important. No, no, no. It's. It's. It's. It's. I I I I I I I thi I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I thi. I thi. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. It's, t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. trying to be important. No, no, no. It's practically a made for a TV movie. Oh, yeah, yeah. It's just like, it's such a low level Stephen King. Like, it's such a, a minor work, a minor work. It's not bad. Seven. Seven. I can't believe I'm giving this movie seven, because it really't very good at all. I'm also a little bit drunk, so...
Starting point is 00:45:05 It's not a... I think it's a fine watch. If you were doing a movie marathon and this movie showed up, you're like, all right, whatever. I'll keep going. Yeah. It might be the one I sleep A lot of Stephen King's sad stuff as well. Drunk Dads, come on man, leave it alone. Apparently in the novel it's made very clear that Tammy's dad is abusing her and that's why he dies because like little girls got to get abused right Stephen King.
Starting point is 00:45:37 Come on, come on. Let them be. Just for like, God damn day. I'm gonna give this. I like your seven. I'm gonna go with a seven. This was like, this is fun. It's like, it's bad though. Yeah. Yeah. I remember it fondly and I was not disappointed by it.
Starting point is 00:45:54 That's good. Yeah. There's something disappointing. . .... Yeah, Uncle Red's a little disappointing. Let's be honest. Oh, I mean, it's a disappointing human being, certainly. Katie. Alan. I would like to take you to the mail bag.
Starting point is 00:46:11 Please. But I would like to take you to take you there properly. Apparently, one beer is enough to make me not be able to speak anymore. I know. There's no quotes around it, so I Will. T.J. Bear.
Starting point is 00:50:06 Yeah. What's up? He suggested Night of the Demons from 1988. Night of the Comet. Night of the Creeps. No. But it is this sweet little animated gift of somebody shaking a party invitation. That looks very exorcisty.
Starting point is 00:50:21 Mm-hmm. Night of the Demons. Night of the demons. We Night of the Demons. We're gonna do it. Nice. Thanks Will. T.J. Bear. Get us Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, email. We need suggestions because like we're just done figuring them out ourselves. It's like so hard.
Starting point is 00:50:48 Then you get the dentist and interview the vampire. Oh my God, we're the worst. And thanks to listening to another nervous or a room. Ne. No. you
