Starting point is 00:00:00 Let me tell you about Marjo Portner. Which isn't such a good. You know what, what the name means? I do, but go on. Okay, well, let me tell them, because they don't know. It is a, what's it called when two words are smushed together? Port Manto. Port Manto of Mary and Joseph, because God, okay, Marjo Gortner is or was at the time the world's youngest ordained minister, or at least the countries, he was four, he was like a faith healer. He was a faith healer. He did like the speaking in tongues and shit.
Starting point is 00:00:46 What? Marjo Gortner. Marjo Gortner. That says poor man's name. He has to live with that. Is it? Yeah. Tell me more.
Starting point is 00:00:55 His parents? His parents, I mean, your four-year-old does not get into faith healing without the push of a parent. But it's not like a, uh, uh, uh, peek-a-boo street situation. No, no, no, no. What is that situation? There's that like, I know she is, but. Oh, she got to name herself when she was three. No shit. Yeah, and she picked Pekaboo street.
Starting point is 00:01:14 Her last name isn't even street. Lucy named herself it would be EETI. Oh, I guess people are named Kitty. That's not bad. Yeah. It could be worse. Never met one, but yes. No, I think it's short for Catherine. Yeah, which is my name. Yeah, kitty.
Starting point is 00:01:33 Yeah, I'm changing my name to kitty. ROWLOW. That's my cat noise. That was good. It's like you've never heard a cat before. Oh man, what are we talking about? Marjo Gordner I think. Who is the star of? Mazoleum. Okay, so I know of mausoleum because you told me about it years ago. How do you know about mausoleum? From Evil Speak magazine, which is like a 80s horror movie exploitation magazine and they're like, oh you got gotta see this movie and I was like, do I?
Starting point is 00:02:06 And I read about it and I went, yeah, I do. Yeah, and you did. You did? Yeah, this is my third time watching this film. Wow. It is, it is a movie. It is, it is. It is, I think we could safely sayup of 20th century Fox in Paramount.
Starting point is 00:02:26 It's like the lights with the steps and the mountain. Like you are, you are, you are... Hey man, if you're gonna steal, steal from the best. Cinema Epic, those companies you are not. So this movie is relatively well known in horror circles because it got put on, like it, it got nabbed in like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the the the the the the the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, likeabbed in the video nasty stuff in Britain in the 80s. Are you familiar with the video nasties? Um, no, tell me about it. Quickly, it was like, there was a British like, movie board basically that was like, these movies are too gross for everybody to see.
Starting point is 00:02:53 So we're pulling them and then editing them extremely. Oh God, I feel like if you edited film over there to be shown and they were like Mm-mm Because of the obscene publications act of 1959. It was a good act Yeah an important act and then because of that People surmised it won the special jury prize the 13th Paris Film Festival. No, it didn't this movie one real awa real award not like a fake award. Yeah, it's the film? It's the film firs. It's? It. the? the? the? the? the? the? the? the? the? the? the? the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th? I? I obscene? I the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I the the th? th? I th. I th. th. th. th. thine? thi. the. theea. thea. thea. obsceneea. thea. thea. obsceneea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. the. Paris Film Festival. No it didn't. This movie won a fucking award. A real award, not like a fake award, not like a Razzie. Well it's the film festival of sci-fi and fantasy films. That's still real. Wow. It has a name. It has a name. It has a name. I believe in it. And it's in Paris so it has to be more upscale than anything we're doing. It's true. It's true. They rode bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes bikes their bikes their bikes they rode bikes to it and carried baguettes and wee-wee. Win and berets and cheese. Rumage.
Starting point is 00:03:47 And had existential dread. Yeah, that too. I mean, I would be lying if I said this film didn't fill me with a sense of existential dread. Especially when you get to the fucking ending and you want to flip the entire globe upside down. I just don't understand. And so I used to write this blog called what will be left of them.com which I continually renew the URL even though I haven't posted anything in a while and all my pictures are
Starting point is 00:04:11 gone because I must have hosted them on like some bunco website and I was like bunco website and they're all gone. Yeah so I maybe I have them savedusoleum and I was like, God damn, this is good. So I'm probably just going to quote from that. So just for a little bit more wherewulf ambulance history, that blog is why I thought, oh my god I should do a podcast for that lady. I'm so funny. You're fucking hilarious. You're really good at MS Paint. You're really good at MSP. You're. You're. You're. You're. You're. the th. th. th. th. So. So. th. So. th. So. So. the th. So. So. So. th. So. So. So. So. So. So. So. I wonder why you don't do more for the werewolf ambulance other than you have an extremely busy life. I'll make time. I'll make time to draw something.
Starting point is 00:04:51 I mean, Justin Gray, Justin, come on. I'm a professional artist. Oh, real bands pay me to make art. Fuck that. You can't see this, Justin, but I'm just bobbing my head side to side in anger and sassiness. Oh, and I put a little time stamp on this episode. If you go to our social media and probably scroll back a few days, like on Twitter or on Instagram, I think Facebook too. Have you seen the new Flyers mascot, Gritty?
Starting point is 00:05:18 Yes, I have. I had to mute the word Gritty on Twitter because I couldn't fucking take anybody else talking about it, but tell me more. Justin did, uh, have you seen Justin's art for Gritty? I have not. Oh, hold please. Okay. You're familiar with Gritty? Yeah. You're familiar with a little film called the Babaduke? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:39 Oh no. So guys, go to our social needs and find this and tell Justin he's fucking hilarious. Justin is fucking hilarious. Looking forward to seeing Justin at our live show, which is this week. I know it's four days away, I'm losing my mind. There may still be a ticket or two available. Yeah, go snatch up them ticks. If not I guess we'll have some at the door right? I don't I mean if there's no if they're sold out online they're sold out. Yeah but if they're not yeah if they're not we'll have some of the door but only a few yeah we're down to
Starting point is 00:06:10 only a few so. And we can't wait to see you all there. I can wait I'm scared. Oh yeah I'm I'm fucking terrified. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm fucking. I'm fucking. I'm fucking. I'm fucking. I'm fucking. I'm fucking. I'm fucking. I'm fucking. I'm fucking. I'm fucking. I'm fucking. I'm fucking. I'm fucking. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'll th. I'll th. I'll th. I'll th. I'll th. I'm there the. I'm the. I'm the. I'm th. I'm theee. I'm thee. I'm the. I'm the. I'm the. I'm the. I'm thi thi the. Okay let's change the subject. Back to Mousaleum. The opening of mausoleum is fucking three minutes long and it's over a still shot of a cemetery. That's it. Just credits rolling over this one shot of a cemetery. I'm like a sunny day, just like a not even a particularly interesting cemetery. Yeah, just a cemetery. There is one name that I recognized in the credits. Who's that? Lawanda Page? Yeah, she's from Sanford and some. Yeah, she was Aunt Ethel, I think. She's amazing.
Starting point is 00:06:50 She's the best actor hands down in this film. And the lines she is given to work with are depressing. You think she was given lines where they were just like, go lawanda that up. Go be a black black black black black black blackthat? Of course you can. You're LaWanda Page. It's 1983. The funny thing is that you see her in a scene earlier where she just has normal lines and then when she comes back in it's like babba babababababah. That's like my jaunty music. You think when she drops good gugly mugly? Yes. Is there, do you have a something that happens in your brain when you hear gougly-mugly? I don't know, no, I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:07:28 There is a booty-based song by Project Pat called Good Guggely Mugally. And the refrain is, good gugally mugly, that thang is juicy. Oh wow. Oh boy. So she said it, and she was like, that ththing is juicy. Great. I used to really be into listening to booty based songs because they made me laugh a lot. I mean they're pretty funny. Yeah, yeah. They're just about booties. I mean who it's not to laugh at? Booties are hilarious. So funny. This movie is also really funny.
Starting point is 00:07:56 Totally unintentionally, right? Is this made to be serious? It's supposed to be serious? You can't have this kind of shitty. this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this thly thly is is is is is is is th. Is is th. Is is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is thi is thi. Is thi. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Yeah? Yeah? Yeah? Yeah. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is is th. Is is th. Is is. Is is th. Is is. Is is. Is. Is is. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. thi. kind of shitty like setting out to have this kind of shitty. You can tell. This is, this is the kind of shitty that can only be unintentional. Yeah, yeah. This is, this is like, it begins with a young Susan who we're told is 10 years. And it's basically, easily 15. I was so confused because later in Choruses it's been 10 years. I was like, but you are old, it doesn't make any sense. But only your hair. And Susan is obviously in her like 30s maybe, I would say, yeah, yeah, yeah. A great 38, a hot 38. Anyway, Susan is a child in this opening scene and her hair changes wildly throughout the, it's three different lengths.
Starting point is 00:08:44 And Cemetery is scared the hair out of you. I guess. Her mother has just bested away and her hair is wildly changing. It's wildly changing. And the first scene it's like cropped chin length and then she's running and it's hitting her shoulders. You can't just do that. Oh, your hair doesn't run out when you're running? I guess it gets longer in the breeze. She's like, her Aunt Cora is like, hey, you gotta go home with me.
Starting point is 00:09:06 And she's like, that's not my home. Because that's how she delivers all over the line. That's my home, going to your house. And then she, I'll say it, trots off. A low gallop. A child's a child's stride. And if I may do my impression of Aunt Cora as Susan runs away. Oh God, no not Susan too! For so long she does that for so long. And she seems to be in fine shape why can she not keep up? And Susan is dilly-dallying. She doesn't even try to move in
Starting point is 00:09:39 Susan's direction. She's just like the child is gone. Goodbye child. Oh God, please not, Susan. What? What's going on? I don't know. We, none of us do. No, no, I still don't know. I saw the movie twice.
Starting point is 00:09:53 I am honestly not convinced that the Susan in the mausoleum is the same Susan, thiii. I mean, they didn't credit both of the the the outside. I think there are two Susan children. Oh, okay. I mean, they didn't credit both of them, but... No, no, we just have a... Julie Christie, which sounds like someone I know, and then Murray throw it on the end of it, which is not someone I know. No. Not the great so much I talk about it all the time. It's such a good movie I'm glad that Missy Hipped us to us.
Starting point is 00:10:26 It's with with skirts. We are in the season of Julie Christie. Yeah. Get a quarter-way skirt out and run around. What do you do it? I'll just kind of slowly in the background chase you with a red jacket on. Please don't. Also you have to be very short. Okay, so that's a different movie. I have the note Marjo Gordner, he was a Bible boy. Yes, he was. He was the Bible boy. I mean, it takes some time and go to this guy's Wikipedia age because his life just sound, like there was a documentary called Marjo.
Starting point is 00:11:01 No shit. That's about his life. Wow. Before he started doing all this crap. Yeah, because he became like a hippie and would like travel around and like he started like doing like stones covers or something like that and like doing like yeah it was just like so he was like he got like and then he got the acting bug from that it was just real weird shit. He's not bad. He's not bad. No, especially not compared to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the he. She he. She he. She's a the the he's a he's a the the the he's a they. He's a they. He's a they. He's a they. He's a he. He's a he. He's a he. He's. He's. He's he. He's the acting. He's the acting. He's a the acting. He's a the acting. He's a the acting. He's a the acting. He's the acting. He's the acting. He's the acting. He's the acting. He's the acting. He's the he. He's he. He's a he. He's a th. He's a th. He's a th. He's a th. He's a t. He's a t. He's a t. He's like. He's like. He's like. He's like. He's like. He's like. He's like. He's like. He's like. He's like. He's like. He's not bad. He's not a bad actor. No, no, especially not compared to Bobby Breezy. She's a, she's a titty lady. She's a playboy model. Is she?
Starting point is 00:11:29 I think she's a playboy bunny. Titty lady? If I was a playboy bunny, I would demand to be called titty lady. That bell. Ring that bell. That's what's going to say in my business card. And then in parentheses, ding. It's going to be boob-shaped. Yeah, it's perfect. So, young Susan runs.
Starting point is 00:11:51 The special effects in this movie are, M-uh. Chef kisses fingers. She runs up to the mausoleum, the titular mausoleum. Well, how does she know that's her families? Oh, you can't hear the voice is going, Susan.
Starting point is 00:12:06 No, I didn't. Susan. I didn't. They're just like really low murmuring voices. Okay. And I don't know, because that's not really bearing her mother. Her mother is just in a plot far away. Far enough for her to have to run.
Starting point is 00:12:21 So she's running to the Nomad Mazzoleum. No bugs fell backwards as goblin. Katie, Alan, I have a confession. Tell me. So the third time I've watched this movie. Yeah. This is the first time that I realized it was Stephen. Really? They say it at it.
Starting point is 00:12:35 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. of this film and the other two times that I watched it. Wow. I mean, also it's only five letters. You know what I mean? You can look at it and be like, oh yeah. I should have words scrambled it. Totally.
Starting point is 00:12:52 So she runs up to this muzolium and as she's running up, there's rain falling on the mausoleum and steam, and steam, the steam, steam, the th, and th, and th, and th, and then, and then, and then, and then, and then, and then, and then, and then, and then, and then, and then, and, and, and, and, thi, thi, thi, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, thi, and, the, the, the, the, the, to, to, the, the, the, the, I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I, I's, I's, I, I's, I's, and, I's, and, is, is, is, is.............. to, is, is, is, is. the, is. the, is. the, the it's sunny and then it rains again in this scene, which is fine. It's sunny when her hair is long. It's just raining on the muzilium. Yeah. And you can tell there's a hose outside the muzilium when they're shooting it. No, you can't.
Starting point is 00:13:17 It looks great. No, it looks wonderful. It's so pro. I will. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. th. th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's the. It's the. It's the. It's the. It's the. It's theeeee. It's theee. It's the. It's the. It's the. It's the. It's the. It like how much I'm saying mausoleum. The family crypt, it's green and purple lit and I was like, I like your lighting scheme. No, that's cool. It looks good. She runs up to the area with the sarcophagus in it, I guess. Did we say sarcophagus if it's not an Egyptian Pharaoh? The casket. Sarcophagus is so much more of a fun word. It really is. She runs to where the seulcher is. And Sepulchura. And they're just like jamming so hard in there. And all the kids who listen to this podcast are like who? Also also are a lot of people in there like they're 30s. I am very happy in thinking about Sepulchera right now. And there's a man in there? There's a man in there. there. And there. And there. And there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there. And there's a there. And there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's there's, there's a there's a there's a there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's they. And there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there. And there. And there. And there. And there. And there. And there. And there. And there. And there. And there's a there. And th. And th. And th. And th. And th. A th. A th. A th. A th. A th. A th. A th. A thi. A th. S. A there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a man in there? There's like, hey little girl, what are you doing? Oh yeah, who is he? The muzzly and peder asked, I have no idea. And she goes, whee, whey, whey, it's green eyes and blows his head off?
Starting point is 00:14:12 It must have, the effect of his head blowing up, must have turned out really badly for like the way they shot it. Which is to say not at all, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, th th th th th th thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the, thi, th. And, th. And, th. And, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. to to the. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the. the. And then they show like his smoky head. I mean what is this? Oh I also made the note that the actor Maurice Sherbanet is billed as the gardener? Is that Ben? As Ben? They say his name five hundred times in this movie. Why isn't he built as Ben? I don't know. Is that?? That's Ben. They say his name 500 times in this movie. Why is that he built as Ben? I don't know. Or is that eluding to his role later on? It doesn't make any sense. So a demon comes out of the crypt and then we flash to Susan being asleep?
Starting point is 00:14:59 No, no, no, that's later. Oh no, first we see Aunt Cora going to see the doctor and Corra now has a wig. It's so bad you can see her on regular hair poking out underneath of it. It just wouldn't be that hard to get her a wig that fit. A little tucky-tucky that's all you need. And then we also see the mother's tombstone we realize she was 30 when she died but thi. But Susan's like thi thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus. Susan's like thus. Susan's like thi. Susan's like thi. Susan's like thirty thirty thirty thirty thirty is thirty thirty thirty thoom-up. thoom-up. thoom-up. tho-up. thoing. thoing. tho-up. tho-up. tho-up. tho-i. tho-i. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi's was thi. thi's was thi. thi. thi's is thi doesn't make, the timeline makes literally no sense. And they didn't even bother to fix it. Oh, fuck it. It would be so easy to make it make sense.
Starting point is 00:15:30 This is where I get mad. You know what I mean? I feel like getting mad at this movie is like getting mad at this movie, like, like a child for doing it. You're doing the best you possibly could. Oh man. So Cora leaves the diary with the therapist who's like, I'm not going to read this.
Starting point is 00:15:55 She's like, well here and he's like, thanks. And I'm like, why are you leaving this with the guy who said he's not going to read it? And her therapist, her therapist, her therapist really want to hit this home, goes, me too, I love her. Yeah, right. That's a red flag, everybody. It really is. Which comes into play later, because he's like, I'm too close to this and I can't step away.
Starting point is 00:16:15 I don't know. I don't. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. I. I. I. I. I. I. I tho. I tho. I th. I don't. I don't. I don't. I don't. It's a, yeah, like a lot of this movie, he's a layover from the 70s. Yeah. What years is 83? Yeah. Then that's when we see Susan going to her mother's grave. Oh, because Cora went on the anniversary of the mother's tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho-a, tho tho-a, tho-a, tho-a, tho-a, tho-a, tho-a, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, thoooooooooooo-a, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like your mother's grave. Oh, because Cora went on the anniversary of the mother's burial? I don't know. Who knows? Who knows?
Starting point is 00:16:47 Oh God, that isn't why? It doesn't matter. What really matters is that Susan is sleeping on her couch in a suit. Who does that? I'm kind of obsessed with their blue floral couches thoes, though? Are you? Yes? thin. Yes. thi. thi. thi? thi? thi? th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thu? thu? thu? thu? thu? tho? tho? tho? tho? thi? tho? tho? tho? tho? tho? tho? tho. tho? tho? th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi? th. th. thi? thi? thi? to? to? to? to? to? to? toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo? thed. thed. th remember those? No, that's why they're kitchenery. Yeah, yeah. It's like when you see kids now wearing chokers and flannel and boots and you're like, that's my teen. You weren't alive for that. Those like jelly chokers are back. Yeah, they look cool. Yeah. It's good look. I'm too old for it. Yeah, yeah. I accidentally put on a choker. the other day. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's. I thought the necklace was going to be longer. Why were you putting on a necklace period I guess is my question. You're not a necklace
Starting point is 00:17:26 man. I was, but I was cutting a necklace for Missy and I was seeing it fit on my neck and it was just a choker which I used to rock a lot of chokers. Oh sure. At the same time. Oh, several at once. Oh, yeah. You have a ball chain. I had a thin ball c hit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit fit the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the necklace. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I chain, which I thought was like a chic. Yeah, that was me too. I had a very thin, wrapped around multiple times. That's, I wore one around my wrist too, wrapped around multiple times. I wasn't very cool. We both sailed it. Hi, five. Did you also wear a small, a little X pendant because you were a straight edge?
Starting point is 00:18:05 I was never straight edge in my life. Yeah, hey, I'm drinking red wine by the way, guys. Alan's drinking a beer. By the time we get through, um, the next movie I'm going to be drunk. Which is good because the next movie is terrible. Get ready. So, Suze it gets woken up, to, to, to to to to to to to to to to to to the to to the the to to the to, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I'm, I'm, I'm, I, I'm, I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm t. I'm t. I'm t t t t t t tr. tr. tr. tr. tr. tr. tr. tr. I'm tr. Arjo Gordner! There is a lascivious Gardner peeking in at them while he's waking her up. It's just like, he, he, he, he, he, he, he. He literally sounds like that.
Starting point is 00:18:33 That man, I swear to crasses. Oh, by the way, speaking of restored from something terrible because they were like green flashes and like crinkles, yeah. But it just sounded like there was just like a like a five-stroke engine running like right off screen the whole time. It was also like I can't hear some of the dialogue but also I don't care. Yeah, no. So they go to the club. Yeah, you want to go awesome. And the waitress's dress is awesome. And I kind of want to go to that club.
Starting point is 00:19:06 Oh, oh. Then that Grizzly Adams mother-fucker shows up? Well, other than him. But he's like with this woman who looks just like her? Did you think she looked just like her? Yeah, yeah. They were all like some variation on like a Lonnie Anderson theme, that for you kids out there. So there's this couple of the bar. This is Grizzly Adams looking, mothfucker.
Starting point is 00:19:29 Look up Grizzly Adams. You'll know what I'm talking about. He does have a beard. And his partner, and she's like, I saw you looking at her. And he's like, I saw you look at her. the dance floor. When we go out, you look out. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that. the the th. th. th. the the the the the the the th. the the the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. Look. Look, look just like her so it's literally the same thing. He's sorry though. He's really sorry. Says Marjo Gordner he's sorry a lot. Maybe it was Marjo Gordner who's sorry this is my note saying. And I was like you're not from Canada. He's not. No. No, they don't have Bible thumbers up there. They did he just say sorry, all Canadian style? He does, I'm sorry. I have a question.
Starting point is 00:20:06 Oh, please. Have you ever danced with your partner? And is this dancing what they're doing? It's a two-part question. It's a, it's proto-fucking what they're doing. Uh-huh. With a little bit of like arms and light lip biting. They're not even that close to to to to to And Marjo Gordner is definitely staring down at his own crotch while he's dancing. Yeah, he's just not sure where it's going to go.
Starting point is 00:20:29 Oh, oh, oh. There go. To the left. To the left. To the left. Um, yeah. Yeah, I don't know. I mean, have I ever? No I mean now your current partner is an adult. Oh fuck no dog? No, never. I don't even know anyone, no that's not true I know to people that go to like gothe night and I'm sure just like have a beer in their hand and like sway. Yeah sure. Right. But no one's I'm gonna get my moves. No. No. No. My partner's not a big dancer.
Starting point is 00:21:06 Mm-mm. Mine either. No. Or I can also amend that too. I am not a big dancer. Who is? If you like dancing, send us an email. I got ground at my friend Carrie's Bachelorette party,
Starting point is 00:21:20 and then I shook the guy's hand because I didn't know what else to do. You mean ground upon? Yeah, like, getting ground. And then I was like, oh, you're middle-aged. And I don't know that you speak English and I don't know what we're going to talk about. And also, I think I'm married at this point, so can you leave? You're gonna marry. See, that's what I don't have any... It's just like a mating ritual for humans, right? Like, they're out there like, trying to like... Yeah, and that's not my scene, man.
Starting point is 00:21:49 Well, that was a good diatribe on dancing than we just did. Sorry about that. So Grosso gets handsy. He goes on to the dance floor. This grizzly Adam's like, the up there. I feel like more people know who Chicago is because I don't even know what it is that you just said. Oh yeah, like he's like a like the third bass player in Charlie Daniels band. Sure. Yeah. Just a real generic dad rock. Yeah. Suny's bro. Susan wants to leave. Oliver's like, okay, he doesn't ask why. He's just like, well, files and contracts and meetings and business. And they're going to keep me away a lot for the rest of this movie.
Starting point is 00:22:29 Yeah. But someone's got to pay for that house. Although I think it might be her house. Yeah. So what? It may also be a Lakinta in. I'm not sure to be with you anyway is basically what her husband says. And business business trumps you and then they go outside and there's like a for no reason tussle. I think that yes that's fine. Like I like bumps they go outside and there's like a for no reason tussle? I think that yes. The guy like bumps them and then there's like a hey one of those and this old lady goes oh shit! I liked a lot. Is that the world star of 1983? I think so. And then Susan blows the guy up with their mind. Yeah. And he doesn't kick the window out or anything. No.
Starting point is 00:23:27 And Marjo Gordner tries to help, but he does not have the healing powers to help this guy. He has lost his mojo. Yeah, or his marjo. He's used all of his cleric spells. Level 5, Marjo. Oh, he's like, all right, man, be a good boy. Like a puppy? Don't piss on the dance floor.
Starting point is 00:23:50 Honestly, again, people pay to be members here. We get back to the house, we meet Lawanda Page. It's so good. She's kind of throw away here. She's talking about the grocery store. Although, she's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's thozy I I I thozy I thozy. thozy. thozy. thozy. thozy. thoomty tho tho tho that that that tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho thatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheat. that. that. that. that. tho th. tho tho thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thithey can eat cat food or something, which is funny. And then we meet the gardener. Oh yeah. It has his shirt buttons like Britney Spears, circa 1999. With like the top is unbuttoned and the bottom is unbutton and there's like two in the middle,
Starting point is 00:24:16 just holding it closed. I want to drive home that the bottom is button, to, to, the bottom, to, to, to, the bottom, to, to, the bottom, to, to, the bottom, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, the bottom, the bottom, the bottom, the bottom, the bottom, and, the bottom, the bottom, and, the bottom, their, their, and, and, their, and, and, and their, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, is their.. So, is their. Oh, is is is, is, is, is the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thuurowne.. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the throaugh, their their throwne. throwne. thrown It's talked. It doesn't make any sense. But so it's tucked open. It's like a little A slit right in the front so you can see his belly button. It's just a little breathing room, a little breathing apparatus for his belly button. This gardening work gives me the hottest belly button. I like that, like many movies of the late 70s, and I guess early 80s, there are spider plants everywhere, but a lot of the ones in this movie are dying. They're just yellow, and they didn't bother to take them off the wall. They were just like, it's fine. Susan can't take care of them. What?
Starting point is 00:24:53 It's, you're, I, fine. Lowan, the page is not looking into that. Oh, no, no. I also like that we see the gardener reading about gardening on his lunch break. He's just eating a sandwich and reading a book about gardening, which I thought was very charming. There is a literal landscaping montage in this movie. I liked it, honestly. It was five minutes? Five minutes of him mowing the lawn, chopping a tree, reading on his lunch break. I thought it was the most intriguing plot line that yard going to get mowed. Is it like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like it like it like it like it like it like it like it like it like it like it like it like it like it like it like it like it like it like like like it like like it like like like like like the the the the their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was their. I was their. I was their. I their. I their. I their. I their their their their their their their th. I. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I thi. I th. I thi. I th. I thi. I thought it was the most intriguing plot line. That yard gonna get mode. Is it like, oh, they're not gonna know who the gardener is that we mentioned
Starting point is 00:25:29 in the opening credits, so can we gardening montage, do you think? I guess? I guess. And then Susan summons him. Because he gets like gross about a cup of coffee earlier. Yeah. Because she's like, is your husband here? No. Ooh, alone at last. What did you say? Can I have a cup of coffee? Oh, OK.
Starting point is 00:25:51 Everyone want to fuck Susan. Oh, yeah. Yeah. So this next part is very like, dear penthouse. the amnesty the the abd. Yes. it would happen to me, you know? But it's like dear pen house and the Amityville Horror House? Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:26:07 Because Susan exposes herself to him while the doors of the house are banging open? Yeah, and he's fine with it. Because he's like, look at them titties. Why does she let it go that far? Why did she fuck him? I never know that in these movies. Is it like the like the like the last like the last, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, this like last kindness? Like, I'll throw him a little something something and then I'm gonna hagg him apart with the gardening tool.
Starting point is 00:26:28 I don't know, because she like, they fuck. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Thankfully, the camera does cut away at one. And I was like, I don't, she's wooing him and she's drinking a glass of like white wine and she puts the glass down and then there's like a, hoe-wee! Smash. Yeah. Is that her horniness?
Starting point is 00:26:49 I don't know. I don't know. The demon? The nomad? I don't know. Dude, his sex talk it to the listeners. Ward, he's like, hey, I've got some more tricks. Do you want to go again? Are you asleep?
Starting point is 00:27:12 And she just goes, I never sleep. It's over? Yeah. Why does she say she never sleeps a lot? I know. And then she hacks him to bits. Yeah, seems fine. Then she sees her husband and he's like, where's Elsie? And she's like, I gave her the night off so that we could be alone?
Starting point is 00:27:28 Does she fucking sleep in your bedroom? It seems like your house is big enough that you guys could be alone without Elsie? Like, is she always there? That's really weird. It's so weird. in help because she leaves constantly. No, and also like she seems like a woman who knows that you know if these people are fucking you leave them alone. You know what I mean? Like every other person who loves. Like a decent human that's not the gardener. Can I ask a question? Please. Why does my next note say Cora is made of jello salad?
Starting point is 00:27:58 What happens to Cora? Well this? Uh, I mean, I'm all over the place. Cora comes to visit Susan to give her her grandfather's gurnal. I thought the therapist had it. Yeah, well, she had some papers. I thought it was like the journal, but maybe not. Writing in my gurnal. And Susan is, like, wolfing out. She's turning into the demon where Cora comes over.
Starting point is 00:28:25 Because there's green light and smokes. Susan, this woman fucking raised you. Yeah, I know. She did the best she could by you. Clearly she cares for you deeply. You bitch. So Cora floats her. Because we learn that Cora can float people.
Starting point is 00:28:38 I mean, Susan floats Cora. Yeah. A-lau-the-Omen. Yeah. And, uh, I don't know why she has. Is she full of Jello Salad? Not that I noticed, but, oh, maybe. Oh, maybe, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:54 Because, like, there's multiple, like, chest, salad all up their endowner. My next notice is wearing high heels on the couch makes me feel sick. My next notice this movie needs a Blu-ray. Why do we do this to ourselves? What's for dinner? Poach salmon and me. That's where I wrote, aren't these too married? I have a real hard time believing it. Because your partner would go, huh? Poaching salmon, like we don't even get a vegetable? Is there a starch? Just get some frozen veggies and throwing a pop for seven minutes. Honestly, can I get your vitamins? Yeah. Also poaching salmon seems gross but I don't know much about it. No you never poached. They fuck constantly. It's so I mean, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, th, I th, I th, I th, th, I th, th. I th. I th. I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th thi, poa, th. th. Poa, th. Poa, th, th, like, like, poa, poa, poa, poa, poa, poach, poach, poach, poach, poach, poach, poach, poach, poa, poa, poa, poa, poa, poa, poa, th. Poach, th. Poach, th. Poa, th. Poa, th. Poa, th. Poa, th. Poa, thi thi, thi, the, thea, thea, thea, thea, thea, thea'a'a'a, thea, thea, thea, thea, thea, thea, that salmon. After fucking, they fuck constantly. It's so, I mean it's just an excuse to see Susan's tits.
Starting point is 00:29:48 You see so... I mean, would you say, how much, what percentage of this film would you say her tits are out? Ah, 28? I was gonna say 35? 35? Yeah, I think it's more than a third of the movie. I would think so, yeah. It's just her her her being being being being being being being being being being being being being being being being being being being being being being being being being being being being being th being th being th being th being th being th being th being more th being more th being more th of the movie. I would think so yeah. It's just her being like, boom, boom, boom. That's the boob sound. Not to be confused with the tiddy bow. So Oliver wakes up post Coitus and Susan is rocking in a chair. I miss this because he references it later and I was like I don't recall seeing that. And in profile she looks a little different and he freaks the fuck out. Okay. And calls Simon. Right. Okay. Okay. And Simon's like, do you have any idea what
Starting point is 00:30:29 time it is? And he's like, yeah, I know it's like three in the morning. So, okay. Then what? Then what? Then what? wa. then what was it that you needed? Oh, my God? are we gonna, I guess we already discussed Lawanda Page saying things like, I ain't been this nervous since I've been black. So I think we can just hop, skip, and jump right over that. She's got another good one. Mother fucka sucker got away? Are you okay? I ain't drank this way since I got religion. She was so fucking great.
Starting point is 00:31:07 She was the only actor in this film. Her and the old lady who said, oh shit! She says, Luanda Page runs out of the house and says, no more breathing, I'm leaving. It's such a weird interlude in this film. And the music's like, blah, ba-bao-ba. That's what I'm saying. It my god. It's such a weird interlude in this film. And the music is like, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, that's what I'm saying. It's so jaunty. But it's like, she's terrified.
Starting point is 00:31:30 Yeah, she's, yeah. Whatever. So then Susan goes to the therap scene, I feel. Oh, I felt so bad for her. For the actor? Yeah, because they were like, you're going to have to cry and she's like, word? I don't do that. What that looked like? What's that? I never cry.
Starting point is 00:31:53 You just smooch your face up and go, uh, you just smooth. their face up and go, uh, did, did, did, did, did, did, did, did, did, did, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, you, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they It's hard to get that yellow on all of them. I guess. They were, it doesn't matter. Why did she say you didn't know I existed? Who is she saying that to and about? I guess to Simon? Yeah, nobody knew. Yeah, no one knew. No one did. I mean. She doesn't even know. Until literally, like a week ago, no one knew. Except for Cora and Cora was just like, did, they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they the they. Did the impression. Yeah. Yeah. Did the impression. Yeah. Did the impression the the the the they they they they they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were. Yeah, they were, yeah. Yeah, yeah. But did Cora read the diary because the impression I got was she was like I have this book I don't know what to do you read it and he was like I'm not doing that. I think that's why she screams oh god not Susan too at the beginning of the movie because she says a lot of credit you're giving the script of this film. She says th a th. She th a th. She th. th. th. th a th. th th th th th that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that's that that that that that that that that that that that that's that's that's a that that that that that that that that that that th. She says her sister turn into a demon. Does she say that? Yeah, it's the curse of the nomad. Whatever. So that means, wait, I want to point that, let's do a little back, backwards, math. Oh yeah. So it's the first born child. Uh-huh. So that means that Cora's sister, which was Susan's mother, was older than Cora. We'll call her big Susan from here on house.
Starting point is 00:33:05 Big Susan, she was 30. So let's say there's a two-year gap. That means Cora's 28 in that cemetery. How much time has gone by? 10 years? 10 years, yeah. She's 38. She's old A.F. So, so, so, Susan is 20 and Cora is 38.
Starting point is 00:33:26 Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Is that right? Somewhat, yeah, I mean, it's better than what they did. All right. So Simon tapes the interaction, which I was like, uh, wait, a therapist tape and stuff? I don't want my therapy hypnotize you. Okay, okay. They always do when they hypnotize people in movies and television so that must be true. It's true. It's true. My therapist is always
Starting point is 00:33:52 just scribbling on a legal pad with a pen so I don't think he's recording but I also don't think he's writing down what he would be writing and th. and th. and th. the th. And the th. And the th. And the th. the th. the th. th. th. th. thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi they're they're they they would they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they's they's they's they's they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're years. Where are you putting this? My therapist stopped like after like three sessions she stopped writing stuff and I was like, you just don't care anymore. Imagine if you were like teaching a class and like nobody was taking notes you'd be like I guess you don't care about what I'm saying. She does remember everything though, which is nice. Maybe she's obsessed with you. Maybe she loves you and maybe she's too close. So we go back to Susan being at home and a plant delivery is happening? Oh wait, you missed the therapist calling his fellow therapist Roney, where he just exchanges like 10 minutes of pleasantries with Roney?
Starting point is 00:34:42 Like, no, I've been very well and you and then like, long pause for her response. Did you notice his burberry wallpaper? I did not. Did you notice the burberry curtains that exactly matched the burglary wallpaper? And that's class. That's class as far as I'm concerned.
Starting point is 00:34:59 Oh my god. And he also doesn't mention her teeth got demoned. That that. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. the. the. the. the. the. they. they. th. th. they. tooes. tooes. tooes. tooes. tooes. tooes. tooes. tooes. tooes. tooom. tooom. tooom. tooom. tooom. tooes. tooes. tooes. tooes. to to toe. to their. their their. their their their. I... to. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe... went green, but he does not mention that her teeth got demon. That's all. Now you may, now you may talk about the, so Susan is home. The guy comes over to drop off a plant. And she's like, I didn't order a plant. And he's like, well, it must have been the gardener,
Starting point is 00:35:21 because we only work with gardeners. We're that we're that we're that we're that we're that we're, and we're, and we're, and we're, and we're, and we're, and we're, and they. And they. And she, they. And she's, they, they, they, they, th. And she's like, thoes, thoes, thoes, thoes, thoes, thoes, thoes. And th. And th. th. th. they. they. they. they. they. And, they. And, they. And, they. And, they. they. the. the. the. theeanan. thean. theanananan't theeanan't theanan't theanan't thea. thea. thea. the. thea. He's like well it must have been the gardener because we only work with gardeners that we're wholesale or whatever yeah. And she's like oh why don't you come inside? And then like starts like undoing her blouse. No she's not wearing a blouse she's not wearing like a nighty and a nighty and like a this movie is brought to you by Frederick's of Hollywood right. But like lower rent Fredericks of Hollywood. Is Frederick's of Hollywood still even a thing? Do people know what that is? I don't know. I referenced the Ocran's boys earlier.
Starting point is 00:35:48 I still don't know what that is either. You remember the song Elvira? Giddy up, bupababab, bup a boom, bum, bupma. No. I don't know what the call someone? Here we go again. Pat Pab's having one of his spells. So... This movie really paints gardeners in a bad light.
Starting point is 00:36:13 Oh yeah, I mean that's very jobist against gardeners. They're just fuck boys. They just want to get down. Just trying to fuck and fuck and fuck. Harsh fuckers. We're earning that explicit to fuck and fuck and fuck. Harsh fuckers. We're earning that explicit this week. Oh yeah. We do every week, let's be real. So she invites him in.
Starting point is 00:36:33 And she's like, yeah, we're gonna, but you've got to call in first. And he's like, God damn I don't want to do that. But you got to just... He's an angry man. Immediately. Immediately. And that must be a typo because I have the note she grows him and I don't know what that means. His eyes in his hand question mark is my next note. Oh yeah his eyes fall out. She grows him. I don't maybe throw. Glows? Glows? We're throws maybe? Yeah. Who cares? I don't think I was looking and typing at this point. I do all mine talk. G to. G to. G to. G. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. the the to. to. the the to. the th. to. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the note. Starting point is 00:37:09 No, Dawn. God damn it, Dawn! Say one to me and I'll guess what it is. Don. Don. Say the other one. Don. Nope. I just don't. So she, like, he calls it to work and then like, she like explodes his face. His eye goes into his hand. Yeah, and then his face is all chewed apart.
Starting point is 00:37:35 Yeah. Her powers are mysterious and changeable. Mm-hmm. I'm ever growing until she eventually chews through someone's chest with her own chest. I can't wait to talk about that. We're not there yet. We're not there yet. So can we talk about, so Dr. Simon calls Oliver and they're like, or no, they meet up
Starting point is 00:37:55 and they're like, let's talk about Susan. Shopping Montosh. Is it when she goes in the mall? Why was that painting being sold in the mall? It's not like some Thomas Kincaid shit. You know what I mean? It was like a half-ass prank Prisetta painting. It was titties and I think maybe a lion? And well then the ship with a candle in front of it and then a man with a Civitar. It was like a... It's being sold in the mall next to like the the deba. It. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's being. It's being. It's being. It's being. It's being th. It's being th. It's th. It's being th. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:32 The 80s? The 80s? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. It was even dirtier back. filthy people back then. Well, we couldn't hide our filth as well with the internet and just like secret filth. You did get your filth in public. I mean, where else are you going to get your two-person underwear from? Is that a thing?
Starting point is 00:38:50 Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, for parties. Quoats. Quoats it, the t-o so she levitates them in. Well, because someone has already purchased it. I can't tell it to you, ma'am. It's not mine. It's not mine. The guy keeps saying, sir, it was never yours. You work at this art store. I hope his name, when they wrote the screlly, Wilson. He is incredibly squirrely. It's not mine. I can't thu- It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not the the the the the the the mall for 20, 25 minutes, and we go past a table full of pointy Hellraiser art?
Starting point is 00:39:27 Yes, where you keep it. Or maybe, you know what it reminded me of? The Beetlejuice art. Yeah. Although, like the pointy, weird. This is my art. It is dangerous. God, I love her.
Starting point is 00:39:36 God, I love Catherine O'. I will just talk about how much I love her. Yeah. Oh, honky, Alec Baldwin. Yeah, Wood. Beautiful Gina Davis. Oh my god, that movie. And Pittsburgh's a own. One on a rider?
Starting point is 00:39:53 One of the writer? Michael Keaton. We're writers from New York. little little little uh... Why do I know that and why do I care? She's great. If you get the chance, watch the movie Destination Wedding. It's her and Kiannu. I'm not gonna watch that. You know we both know it. It's like the relationship is built around an existential crisis and it's fantastic. All right.
Starting point is 00:40:15 So she throws this guy on this art and he also has the jello salad on the inside. That's a really good impalement I thought for the amount of money they must have had to make this movie. I thought it looked great. It really didn't. It's so out of character for the rest of the movie. It really is because he's kind of a throwaway, literally. The painting is so bad though. Like I'm with Oliver on this. Although I think it's he's like, this painting, what have you done? You are crazy! Like, that is the last possible straw for Oliver. And it just looks like, like, third edition D&D with Titty. It's just shitty. It's not crazy.
Starting point is 00:40:56 It's just bad. I have a question for you and I might sing it. Why does it bleed? Why does the painting bleed? That's a good question. And the song was good too. She's just staring at the painting and blood starts pouring out of its eyes. And you're like, what? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:41:11 I think it's crying. Yeah, blood tears. He's a devil's a damn lady and isn't mine. Yeah, he's mad. Oh shit. It was never his. He's an associate in the store. For a live show, I realize in retrospect. Have you watched none of you?
Starting point is 00:41:33 I'm going to get to it. Okay. Um, so cut to a few scenes ahead. Susan's taking a bath. Yeah. Oliver comes in. Because she's got to be naked. Yeah. Always naked. Yeah, it's a bubble bath so at first her boobs are covered. And then there are. Yeah. And then we get some soapy moaning. Yeah. I mean, I mean, the thing that bothers me here is that Oliver is like pretty aware that she's having like a a psychic break. Yeah. And he's like, give me to dad does. Come on. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. Yeah. pretty aware that she's having like a psychic break. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:05 And he's like, give me da da da. Come on. I just realized that putting these three notes together makes this middle note sounds like it's a euphemism for sex. Sure. Oh baby, because that's something Oliver keeps saying. Yes, that's most of his lines, Marjo. Oh baby, thunder in the cemetery, more kissing, please. Thunder in the cemetery is like, um, when you get boned, when you haven't gotten boned for a while, you know?
Starting point is 00:42:34 They really put the thunder in my cemetery that time. It had been a while, but guess what? Thunder in the cemetery. Kip. They, because they keep, like, she's like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, th, th, like, like, the, th, th, th, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's thunder, that's thunder, thunder, thunder, thunder, thunder, thunder, thunder, thunder, th what? Thunder in the cemetery. Knocking that crypt! They, because they keep like, they're hugging and moaning and obeying. Is that what sex is? Hugging and moaning and saying, oh baby? Yeah. Just making sure. How do I have a child? What if you felt that up to this point you've been doing it wrong?
Starting point is 00:43:04 I have a child. Where did she come from? I've never put th a th a th a th a th a th a th a th a th a th a thuuuuupt a thupt a thupt a thupt a thupt a thupt thupt thupt you've been doing it wrong? I have a child. Honestly, where did she come from? I've never put thunder in the cemetery. What is a cemetery? They keep cutting to the cemetery. There's like thunder and lightning in it and I'm like, what? It doesn't matter. Is she seeing that image? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:43:19 Then we're also cutting to Simon just, to the tape in this car. Fine. Jammin it. He has to go get the crown off of the mausoleum to put on her to get the demon something or other. Which he realizes from reading the diary. That's from like fucking 17th century or something. Why did no one else ever read it? My grandfather's diary? Oh I'm sorry. From the 17th century? No I make up the 17th century part for today? They did. Oh no, no, he definitely says blah blah blah, blah, 1692 and I was like, really? No other year. Cora, Cora is 28 in 1973. Her grandfather was born in the 1600s. Legitit. I'm in. Let's do it. This is a movie that someone made. That won an award, people. Can we talk about how this is the best scene in the movie though?
Starting point is 00:44:10 Yeah, go. Her titties turn into demon. They go like, gng, gng. They look like a little hamsters. They have little yellow eyes. They look like little hamster. They look like the little hamsts. They look like, they're, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, th, th. They're, the, the, the, their, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, they. they. they. they. Can, they. Can, th. Can, th. Can, tho, thi, thi, thi, tho, thi. the. thi. Can, thi. Can, thi, the. Can, thi,, you've seen the princess bride and the rodents of unusual sizes. It looks like that but on a tit. Just the face. I was thinking that it looked like
Starting point is 00:44:34 someone would have brought them to goolies and they've been like, mmm, that's not quite gullies material. Put it on a titty and I'll watch that. Yeah, this is some Charles band shit for sure. Oh my god, yeah, her boobs chew through her husband's chest. Yeah, it's pretty good. And then he is thrown into the bathtub by the boobs. Right, they have a lot of torque. Is that what torque is? I mean, the core strength of those breasts.
Starting point is 00:45:02 I know it's just like, um, Belial. Belial from Basket Case, if you don't know what we're talking about, listen to our turn on, Neon Brainiacs. Yeah. The basketcase episode. We should have done that movie. We'll be on this podcast. I'm tell.
Starting point is 00:45:14 Maybe we will. But we won't cut off when we ask them a question. We'll just cut out there. Sure, it's just their response. So Ben, and then Katie, I... So to get rid of the demon, you have to put a crown of thorn on, thorns on its head. Yeah. That's not that tough. And it happens pretty easily, honestly. Yeah. Oh, we forgot to mention that she goes and hangs out and pretends to be a little girl. It doesn't seem like their addict should be so dusty. They're clean people.
Starting point is 00:45:46 Yeah. Other than they're dead plants. It's hard to kill a spider plant. What did you think of the cat scare? Cat scare? Cat scare? Don't recall it. There was a cat. There was a cat, where a cat, their, where, where, where, where, where, where, where, where, where, the the the their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th.. th. th. They had a cat? I didn't know that. What do you think his name was?
Starting point is 00:46:12 DT? Marjo? Marjo? Demon titty. Both good choices. Oh we also forgot to mention that all the bodies of the people that she's killed are in the attic. Are they? I've seen this movie twice. Yeah the gardener. T. T. T. T. Both. Both. T. Both. Both good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good. Are they? I've seen this movie twice. Yeah, the gardener is up there, the plant man is up there. Or is he? No, he definitely is, they go pile. What the fuck? That makes even less sense then, Alan? Oh my god, I wish I was dead. So there's this really long transformation scene for Susan which is just a
Starting point is 00:46:45 superimposed scene of her in the makeup and not in the makeup shaking her head back and forth? Yeah it's okay. For what they had it's okay. They did the best I could. Just that over and over again? Yes. They go to the mausoleum after he puts the crown on the demon's head the demon goes away. Yeah she's fine. She's like where's all all the the theirs is all theirs is all theirs is all theirs is all th. Where's all th. Where's all th. Where's all th. Where's all th. Where's all th. Where's all th. Where's all thi is thi is thi is thi's all thi's thi's thi's thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the the the the the the thi. the the the the the thi. thi. thi, she's fine. She's fine. She's like, where's Oliver? No memory of it. Well, your titties bit him. So...
Starting point is 00:47:09 You did tittie killed him. I mean, I feel like if Oliver had to die young, he would want to die by Susan's tits. Don't you think? I think you were fucking amazing. I just had a thought, probably a lot of people have a watch this movie that I listen to this. Oh, I would hope we've watched it. We've lost our goddamn minds. Oh yeah, we've said tiddy killed so many times.
Starting point is 00:47:30 We're just making shit up at this point. This isn't even a real movie. It's just a shared hallucination we've had. For years, we've been having this. says the crown of thorns look like is made of doo-doo? No, but I appreciate that you do. So they take Susan, or Simon takes Susan to the mausoleum to go visit the crypt demon who's been the demon that's been living inside of her, or as her or something. It doesn't really matter. No, no, no, no, no, no. Does it? Hmm. I don't think so. Sure. She goes and like, the the they. to, to, they. to, to, they. to, they. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. S. S. S. S. S. The she goes and like is kind of like nice to the demon and it's like, all right Well, I'll see you later and he's like well, I'm gonna go back and take my demon today He's down here and bub-bye now. Yeah, and then the light goes out in the muzolome and they're like well, I guess I guess that's the end
Starting point is 00:48:15 until Simon goes outside to put her in the car the car and the car the car the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thr on a tombstone. He was like off mostly off camera. Yeah. And he has a talk with him that's like, you've watched over the mausoleum, remember no one goes in, you'll watch over it as your father watched over it, this long, weird monologue about guarding it. Yeah, and the guy who's talking to is like stacking flowers. Yes, right. And then the camera like pads around the tombstone to the man who's sitting there. And it's the gardener, Ben, of the fucked and then murdered. And he laughs. Oh, how he laughs. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:01 What? And maybe he's like, ha ha, ha, credits. Yeah. What? What? And he's like, ha ha ha? Credits. Yeah. Why? What is he laughing at? Why? Those are my three questions. Go. You're going to tweak their fucking melons, man. But why though? You don't think there was a bong rip and then they wrote the end of this movie. I think this is sincere. Starting point is 00:51:21 why didn't they fucking stop Susan going in there? Oh no, no, Susan, okay, next question. Yeah, shoot. Did Susan get possessed because she went in the mausoleum, or what it have happened anyway because she was the first born? It seemed to be the trigger. So did that, does that mean, does that mean that Susan's mother also went into the mausaulium? And reading about gardening on their lunch breaks which is like, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:51:54 It's so fucking ridiculous. I just eat a sandwich reading Western gardening or whatever. I don't, okay. Oh my God. I do. I do. You go first. I love this movie. It's so stupid. It is so unbelievably stupid. This movie is a solid six. That is not what love means.
Starting point is 00:52:18 But I know what it, I know what I love. I know the thing that I love and I know what it is. And like most people would be like, you're stupid. Yeah, 100%. Starting point is 00:57:08 Oh yeah, we're going to do a movie next week, aren't we? I think so. I already watched it and I hope so. You picked this one. Tell us what we're watching. Alan, I'd never seen it before. All right. So I said, we were picking a movie and I said, we haven't done a movie from this decade. No wen wen. I th. I th. I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to to th. to to to th. to th. to th. to th. to to to to to to to to to too. too. th. th. too. too. too. too. We're too. We're too. We're too. We're to do. We're to do. We're to do. We're to do. We're to do. We're to do. We're to do. We're too. We're too. We're too. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We're. We're. We're. We're. We're. We're to. We're to. to. to. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. We're going. toa. We're going. We're going. to. We're going. We haven't but I totally forgot that we had just done what we do in the shadows it was like it had gone in and out of my brain. My brain is a fucking sieve right now. I'm stupid as hell. So I looked at Netflix and I clicked on horror and it gave me like the most popular on Netflix and one of them had a clown and I was like oh you want to do the clown movie so this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this I I I I I I I I I I I I I I th I th I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm th I'm th I'm th I'm th I'm th I'm th I'm th I'm th is thi I'm th I'm th I'm th I'm th I'm th I'm th I'm th I'm th is I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I I I I I'm I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm to th I'm th I'm th I'm to to to thin I'm to thin I'm thin I'm stupid I'm stupid I'm stupid I'm to thin too th th too th th th thin th th thin I'm stupid I'm stupid I'm th thi I'm to this clown movie and Alan was like, yeah, I'll do the clown movie. So this is not my fault. I'm a victim of circumstance. I believe we both said we are drawn to the clown movie. Yes, I saw it and I thought.
Starting point is 00:57:47 Yes, I saw it and I thought, clowns. So we're doing terrifyer. It's a good name for a movie? It's on Netflix? It's a good name for a movie. It's on Netflix. It's a good 2016, 2017, I don't know, some time or reason. 2018? Yeah, it's this year. Any of these years I could have come out. I don't know. That's the thing. I don't know. How could I ever find out? I just told it's 2018. Okay, I mean like I'm sorry for this one. I'm not sorry the way I was sorry for the dentist, because a dentist I had seen, and so that one is my fault. This is not my fault. I mean, I'm ready to talk about this movie. Do you want to just keep going? You guys want to do that?
Starting point is 00:58:33 No, I'm to the live show. Hey, I mean bye. I mean, thanks for us and another episode of Wear Allmulance. Hey, I mean by. Brain is a sieve. Nice. Clear. Clear. you know the true
